 prologue

    Prologue:


    A contract is a symbolic relation between two beings weather living or non-living. Though one side may be dominant over the other but it is still a relationship of equal exchange.


    When the world was sealed the various branches of magic perished due to their dependency on mana. But only some branches survived to their less dependency upon mana. One of them was contract users, they were able to maintain a little bit of their strength due mutating nature of the symbolic bond between the contractors.


    In a magically deprived world these branches continued to exist, waiting for the mana to return. But the seal destroyed all their hope. The seal which turned their once mana rich world to a magically deprived one remained.


    Aftermany millenniums their number starts to decrease as they perished due to ending of their lifespan. Many branches were not able to maintain their long lifespan in this new world and perished.Stolen story; please report.


    In this new world they are forgotten as the world flourished without the power of magic and the number of branches continued to declined due to their nearly non existing power.


    Many declined as all the people with knowledge died and there were no new users due to nonexistent mana. Only contract magic was able to function as it formed a bond between the users. But now the contractors were beings with born supernatural abilities which barely required mana.


    But still power of contract continued to decline, as it was about to be buried and forgotten in the sands of timesomething changed.A crack occurred in the seal placed on the world, allowing mana to seep through thecrack into thisnew world.


    The powerof mana is now present in this new world reviving thenearly forgotten power of contract but at the same timetransformingand awakening somebeings in the new worldto the power of mana.


    Now it¡¯s a race against timefor the contract users to grow stronger in a dog eats dog world. And fight in this new and dangerous world while the change plunges the world into chaos and fear.

 chapter 1

    Chapter 1:


    In the unending void there are many planes floating amongst the chaos energy. Each plane that floats in the void is present at different dimensions. Rarely two planes exist in the same dimension.


    Every plane is of different size and laws. But there is one thing common between all the planes. They were constantly devouring the chaotic energy floating in the void.


    In a void region where the chaotic energy was low there is a plane thriving on mana. The whole plane is filled with the warmth of civilization. Mana has transformed even the most hostile region into a habitable place.


    In the most mana rich area a planet filled with countless storms exist. This planet is special as it alone planet. A planet with no sun to revolve around. But life due to the grace of mana exists here. There are various temples floating on the planet.


    A temple is floating in the most mana rich area. A temple so huge that it can be seen when observed form space. If someone gets nearer they will get the illusion that it is a large island instead of a temple.


    Inside the temple there are countless people with enough power to destroy a planet. But there is one who is the most powerful of them. In the most protected chamber an old man is meditating peacefully. One will not realize that he is facing the most powerful person on the plane. Suddenly sound of steps is heard and a young man is seen running into the room.


    The young man said "Master, there is something wrong with the crysphere.¡±


    The old man opens his eyes in shock and said ¡°There is something wrong with the crysphere?¡± The surprised look quickly turns grave as he realized the gravity of the situation. He stood up and vanishes from the spot leaving no trace behind.


    He appears in another tightly secured room of the temple. The room looks as if it has been made out of crystals. But strangely instead of shining and reflecting light they looked opaque. In the middle of the room a large crystal sphere is floating. Strange equipment can be seen floating around the sphere. It show the whole map of the plane with all the celestial bodies located in it.


    Normally it glows with a peaceful blue light, but currently it is emitting a piercing red light. The old man walks toward the sphere in shock and puts his hand on the surface. The light of crystals flickers and the vast expanse at the edge of the plane is shown in the sphere.


    Strange runic marks are present in the void and rapidly multiplying. The face of the old man becomes grim and he teleports to the place where the runic markings are present.


    He raises his hand which releases a piercing golden light. But when he is about to destroy the runes a black light shoots towards him. He hurriedly dodges the strike, stopping him from destroying the runes.


    He looks up to see a pair of eyes floating in the vast expanse of space. Upon looking at those eyes a realization dawns upon him. With a sorrowful face he asks ¡°Why?¡±


    Suddenly a rumbling sound is heard saying ¡°Blame this upon your student!¡± with a voice that chills one to the spine and suddenly a vast amount of mana is emitted and the speed of creation of runes increases. Slowly they form a sphere enveloping the plane in which the planet is present.This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.


    Suddenly the plane shakes and a powerful will descends. The planar will which had been awakened because of the threat tries to destroy the runes. But as soon as it came the same black ray descends and causes the will to vanish.


    The old man is filled with sorrow as he realizes that the plane consciousness has been destroyed. But when the sphere is about to complete and only a small region in front of the old man is left his expression turns ruthless and determined he screams ¡°I REFUSEE!!¡±.


    He raises his hand and golden light envelopes him and a scream is heard ¡°SACRIFICE!!¡±


    His body bursts into golden light which moves toward the circle of runes which is about to seal the last remaining area. The golden light envelops the area and starts forcing back the runes that are forming and rapidly increasing the area free form runes.


    Suddenly the pair of eyes which has been watching turns blue and the runes rapidly starts to increase, forcing the golden light back. The golden light tried to struggle but in vain. The sphere rapidly forms and when it is completed a sorrowful scream is heard coming from the golden light before it vanishes.


    The second the sphere is complete all the mana in the plane enveloped in it starts to move towards it. As the plane will has been destroyed nothing can force it to remain. A crystal sphere rapidly starts to form covering the whole plane.


    Soon all the mana of the plane is sucked into it forming a crystal sphere having compressed mana between the two layers.


    One layer is formed to stop the world from receiving outside help and the other to imprison the world inside.


    Soon all the structures using mana starts to fail and a major up heaven occur on the plane. Life on inhospitable and dangerous planets vanishes without having mana to support them.


    People with mana try to use it, only to realize the great weakening of its power in the low mana environment. Only some planets have life remaining on it. But the damage is so enormous that the worlds would find it difficult to thrive.


    All this is watched by the pair of eyes with a look of indifference. The pair of eyes watched over the world for few centuries ensuring the decline of the worlds and the functioning of the seal. Once it was assured that the seal is functioning as per required the pair of eyes vanishes without a trace.


    But unknown to it a strand of that golden light still alive. Present in the inner edge of the plane sealing layer. Absorbing the mana to recover itself and under the will of the strand of consciousness present it tries to break the inner crystal seal.


    But due to its hardness it is only able to break it an inch per century even with the presence of the enormous amount of mana aiding it and without the risk of discovery by the pair of eyes.


    As time passes its consciousness begins to fade. So it uses its memories as fuel to make the strand remain.


    First it converted all the events it has experienced since birth.


    Then it used its knowledge of paths that are likely to end.


    It consumed its memories till only the important knowledge remained. It only remembered the paths that do not require mana to maintain strength, the planes enemy and the reason for the sealing.


    Many millenniums passed by and the outside world has changed drastically. Finally one day a crack appears in the plane layer of the seal. Allowing the mana to once flow in the plane and the amount of slowly starts increasing allowing the being the possibility of harnessing its power once again.


    Due to the flow of mana the amount of cracks in the crystal starts increasing rapidly. Soon a golden light is seen coming out from the crack and a golden ray of light finally comes out and starts hovering in the space.


    Suddenly it splits into two, the consciousness of the old man present in the light moving towards the worlds, to see the changes that have occurred in the past millenniums and to help the magic users rise again.


    While the other part moves towards the crack with only one goal engraved in it to crack the remaining inner seal and increase the mana in the plane. It starts directing the mana that is cracking the crystal to destroy it faster. Both the strands have split but they have one goal for their existence.


    Their goal is to make the world stronger and become strong enough to make the people who ruined their world pay and have their REVENGE

 chapter 2

    CHAPTER 2


    In a large room of ancient style but equipped with modern technology there is a teenager asleep. The room is filled with ancient object that project their history. They express pride for their deeds and sorrow of abandonment.


    Though made is ancient times the room the modern technologies gives it a unique outlook.


    The room is well lit and the voice of birds is coming from the windows. The boy who is asleep looks no older than 15. But he looked so pale as if he has recovered from some illness. He looked handsome with long black hairs and feminine face. His Adams apple was the only indication that he is a man.


    As he lazily opens his eyes and we see his beautiful but eerie purple eyes. The ghastly glow that it radiates is enough to chill down a person¡¯s spine.


    He stretches lazily and gets out of the bed allowing one to see that the person possesses a well maintained body. A lazy look can be seen upon his face as he yawned his sleepiness away. A strange necklace with a crystal shaped like a beast¡¯s fang can be seen. There seemed to be something written on it in an unknown language.


    Damn what time it is. Hope I am not late for school he thought.


    He quickly reached his clothes drawer and changed clothes and got ready to go to school. The second he opened the cupboard he saw a doll sitting on top his clothes.


    The doll seemed to be made up of wood but carved so perfectly that it seemed alive. The most notable features of the doll was its beyond lifelike hairs and a tattoo mark on its head. It looked like an arrowhead of an elaborate design which is facing towards the nose.


    What is it doing here? I remember that I placed it on the shelf.


    The doll was a gift from his parents and his childhood friend. He blushed with shame remembering how he played will the doll in the childhood and all the teasing he got from his father due to this hobby.


    Even though he got older he still has a love for all type of doll crafting. He even learned woodcarving to make wooden dolls.


    He even learned it from his father as a part of their family tradition and as a remembrance of skills they once used.


    I remember that I used to spend my entire time crafting dolls and try to show them off to my parents. Heck I even tried to cave a human size doll, though it was a failure.


    Remembering the time that he tried to make a wooden copy of all the ancient artifacts in the mansion brought a smile to his face.


    His father¡¯s happy face when he showed his carvings came into his mind. He was much more happy with the carving than when he scored the best in the class.


    But then he remembered the accident that happened one year ago. His smile fell knowing the fact that he will not be able to see them ever again.


    He remembered the day that he got the news of his parent¡¯s death. The shock was so great that he was not able to go to school for three months.


    Luckily the laws in Mareritt nation are lax and I was 15 otherwise I would not be able to live in the mansion and be transported to an orphanage.This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version.


    It was a good thing that my father stated in the will that I should be allowed inherit the property instead of my relatives as the guardian for it.


    It¡¯s a good thing i don¡¯t have contact with all my relatives. Otherwise the fate of Ottor could have been mine.


    Remembering what happened to Ottor made him shuddered. Ottor was from a rich family. He had many relatives who were close to them and he was a good person. But what happened to him was sorrowful.


    It was a famous case in the school. He was a senior in the school who was also orphaned when 15 but unlike him his parents gave his custody to his uncle who was close to them.


    Everything was fine for the first six months. The uncle seemed like a caring person until he vanished after selling the house leaving Ottor homeless and without any money as it had all been transferred away by the Uncle.


    He lived on the charity of people for six months before the uncle was captured. But by the time it happened he has spent a good amount of money.


    The only grace was that he had a scholarship so he was able to stay in the school. But his still has to work part time and live in a rented apartment till he gets the frozen money that he was supposed to get till he was 18.


    This incident caused his father to change the will like many other parents who were afraid that similar incidents will upon their children.


    It¡¯s a good thing that father changed the will. Otherwise


    A shudder ran through him as he thought of his fate if the will had not been changed.


    Well enough thinking I should get ready for school otherwise I would be late. Today is the last day and I don¡¯t want to be late for the function. The recommendations are given at the end and if I am late I will not be able to get it till the next month.


    The second he thought this a loud knocking came from the door of the room.


    ¡°Come in¡± he said while trying to sound as dignified as possible.


    The door opened and a middle aged woman came in. She was dressed in a uniform that can be said to be a formal dress code. The uniform was a white shirt and a long black skirt.


    The most apparent and striking feature of the dress was a symbol etched on left pocket of her shirt resembling a vertical eye with black pupil and red iris.


    The women had a slight smile on her face as she said


    ¡°Mr. Ghost please get ready fast as it is the time for your school¡±


    Ghost has an expression of relief when he was the women who came in and said


    ¡°Aunt Julie you do not have to talk so formally with me¡±


    People call me stubborn but the most stubborn of us is Aunt Julie. I just do not like being called by my name and so asked her to call me with my surname Ghost. But she stubbornly added mister and said that she will call me mister until I allow her to call me by name.


    But as all people know I am a stubborn person so this thing has been going on for five years even when father intervened.


    ¡°Young master you know the reason for my formalness¡± she said


    Julie had been the closest person to him behind his father. Even his father respected her as she took care of his father when he was a child.


    She had been taking care of him since his mother died during childbirth and supported him upon the death of his father.


    As she had no children of her own she saw him as her child. Her husband was also someone who has been serving the family from ancient times. He loved her dearly even though they were never able to have children.


    After the Accident she and her husband ensured that no one took any advantage of him. They insisted on serving him by keeping the servants in the house in line and ensuring that no one took advantage of the fact that the family head was still studying in school.


    ¡°Fine Aunt Julie, can you make sure that the breakfast making and other arrangements are done by one hour. Honestly speaking I do not like to speak in this dignified tone¡± Ghost said


    As far as he remembered his father always spoke in this tone when he was talking to others and returned to his normal tone when speaking to him.


    ¡°Master you know that you need to speak in that tone as the head of the Ghost family and go to school to get knowledge to run the family property.¡± Julie said with a smirk. She bowed and walked outside the room.


    Ghost grumbled and took the doll and put it in showcase near his photo at the bottom of which was written Malson


    Ghost, and said ¡°Lucy stay here¡±


    What am I doing talking to a doll like it is a living being? Well I should get ready for school.


    He got to up and went to the bathroom to get ready for school without noticing that the tattoo on Lucy¡¯s forehead was shining and there seemed to be a smirk on her face. Her hairs started glowing with different colors and looked as if they were alive and one could make mistake and say that the hairs were moving on their own.
