《Sub Rosa: Back to Back Stacks》 The Setup The date is June 3, 1987 its a sunny bright day in Los Angeles, no better day to make a deal "OXS international, how can i help you?" "This is Monsota" "Ah yes we were waiting for you''re call please hold." god damn it i hate having to wait. its like a goddamn jinx before anthing happens you get put on hold its like a fucking catalyst to a fucked deal " Whats wrong?" Alex asks "I got put on hold." Alex is new to the floppy disk scene so i doubt he knows what the fuck were doing here, he''s basically just there to eat and dish out any bullets. People like him are disposable he''s a blank nobody knows him or will care if he goes missing, or how we call it in the buisness world ''Reassigned to a new location'' "Whats so bad about that?" Alex asks, Lenard then walks into the fray "It means were gonna get shot at thrirty minuets from now, should i bring the shotgun?" Lenard is an ace shot so i would trust him with a rifle more than a shotgun "no get the M-16, Alex grab the shotty." i hear a click on the phone. " How many stacks?" i could have got us a better deal by lying to them but in the heat of the moment you can''t help but tell the truth. " Five stacks eight grand each." the line falls silent for a while. "Disco Inferno 20 minutes be fast." This is some serious shit no one ever goes to Disco inferno unless its a disk with lots of info. "Where are we gonna meet?" I turn around to see the man i thought i would never be working with, the crack shot that never misses a beat, Al. i''ve heard storys of this guy i never thought i''d see him " Whats your name kid?" I stay silent for a second still trying to process the information "Im Ryan Vera, i would assume you''re the infamous crackshot Al?" without a second he replies "The one and only, so where is it gonna be?" well atleast hes on my side this time. " Disco Inferno" The room falls to silence "i see" The gravity of this situation is more than you could ever imagine. "Lets get this shit on the fucking road." A team that consists of an Buisness man that knows how to shoot, a human sheld that can shoot, a triggerhappy madman, and a skilled madman. Chapter One: Silence and Clicks We start making our way over there no one says a word the car is dead quite no one to listen to but your own thoughts the the usual clicking and clacking of people making sure that their guns are loaded. Some people tend to pray or repent their sins with the lord during the car ride. Others don''t give a fuck act like its a god damn saturday afternoon, most of thoes people know they can''t die like they''re the lucky charm in the company but when they eventually do you cant help but feel sorry for them. " Fuck its way too quite in here let me put on the fucking radio." Al breaks the silent and puts on the radio. "Alex you brought the shotgun and rifle right?" i ask Alex "Yeah their back there, why? Should we have them on us right now?" "no i was just making sure we actually did have them." great one less thing to worry about i hope this is just smooth sailing from here. " That was Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, and now for all you people working the nine to five let us take you on a magic carpet ride. This is Krop." The song starts playing. " This is a hell of a song but I just think it takes too long to get to the good part." I keep replaying all of the fucking senerios that could happen and i see us dying in all of them, maybe i should take a brighter look on all of this but its hard when you get all anxeous. Chapter Two: Disco Dance As we enter the parking lot of this place i can''t help but feel a certain way, i could sense the danger that lurked behind the Nightclub. We get to the second section of the parking lot, with the lights and lamp post still on as well as trash from the last night. We find five men who had already made themselves at home, Al takes a parking spot not too close to the men in grey suits. Al roles down the window, " Flash the Disk!" the men who stood outside of the car signaled to the man inside of the car. The man in the car takes a moment to open up what apeared to be a briefcase and flashed the black disk. Me and Alex step out of the car, and OXS follows suit. We begin to walk towards each other and i realize something is off about thier briefcase. Al quickly gets out of the car and begins to shoot at the men in grey suits. I was so scared i couldn''t move an inch "Get the fuck behind that post!" Lennard''s exclamation got me back to the action, and we ran behind the lamp post, whilst Al and Lennard got out of the car and headed for the trunk. Gun shots rang out from what seemed like all directions, a moment of silence fell upon the oppisite side of the parking lot as we hear the grey suits reloading. It was our turn to return fire. This novel is published on a different platform. Support the original author by finding the official source. Chapter Three: The Inferno Massacre June 3rd, 1987 2 Hours after The Inferno Massacre Lennard had been shot in the chest, 5 OXS employees had been killed, and 3 from surrounding buildings had ran away. The shootout had made its way to the public, the police were now involved in this situation. The car ride was silent, Lennard had passed out from the amount of blood coming out the holes he had in him. The events after the shootout were blurry up until the car ride I didnt understand what was happening, almost as if every movement I made in the shootout was involutary and going off of pure instinct. The dread for me started to set in and i started to wonder how long Lennard had to live, how long it took for the cops to show up at our door, and how long until our heads had a price. The phone rang and broke this almost suffocating silence " What''s up boss?" I said in a chipper tone as if all of the previous things I said didn''t just happen " I''ll tell you ''Whats up'' News choppers all over the damn disco! I got 40 people on hold asking me questions if my company had anything to do with that fucking wild west show you just put on for the whole damn city!" I had to sit through 10 minuets of him coming down on us, after a little Iexplained to him what had happened " ,Boss the whole thing was a set up, they had more poeple in the surrounding buildings I don''t know what to tell you, we made it out with the money though-"I tried to make my argument, but he cut me off. " Ryan, you got a price on your head." I had no words, every possiblility raced through my head, I felt alone " You and your guys got one, 3000 a piece. I''m sorry son I can''t do anything for you."You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.
