《Sin of Heroism》 Prologue *Roar* *Boom!* A showdown takes place between one beast and three humans. Fires blaze as the flames burn on the beast''s wrists. The humans are dressed in strange wear. One has a blue sweater with a v line at the front chest and back. (A/N: color his skin black and call him Frozone.) Another one wears a green suit with golden bracelets. And the last one wears a red skin-tight suit with black o on it. The one wearing the blue sweater yells out "freeze!" and sprays a cyan mist at the creature from one of his hands pointed at it. The creature''s spine mounts up like spikes as it shrieks and then swats at the person wearing a blue sweater with it''s tail as it collides with the mist. *Sss!* It then turns it''s head at the one with the red skin-tight suit and breathes fire at him. The one wearing a red skin-tight suit strafes sideways out of the way as the fire blasts the place where he used to stand with fire left burning on it. He strikes back by creating a mass and chucks it at the beast. The one wearing a green suit clasps her hands as she then thrust one hand in the air while thrusting another one into the ground, creating a huge dent in it and swings herself at the beast. "Roar!" The beast roars in response and retaliates by kicking one of it''s hind legs at the green suit person while using the momentum from that kick to shift it''s body to dodge the incoming mass. In another room that shows the situation as a broadcast: "This is a A-rank Sin. A danger to our society and appear as abominations. The ones fighting these Sins are B and A-rank Heros. The B-rank Omega, the A-rank hero, Zeles, and the A-rank hero, Feles." A woman says as she explains the projection. *Ring ring ring!* A ringing sound resounds throughout the class room as the people in the room begin to shuffle and chatter. "Alright, class is over now, have a good weekend everyone!" "Have a good weekend Miss!" Some say on their way out. "Have a good weekend!" Some others say on their way out. Students begin to flood the hall as they energetically leave their class. They are wearing different things and you could see most of them wearing jackets as they leave. The halls begin to bolster about discussion of what the school recently showed. Specifically however, only the 9th graders were going off about it. So there are some people who would just ignore the conversations going on around. There were some people who would discreetly evade the eyes of many.Reading on this site? A yell resounds throughout the hall, as if trying to compete with the loud chatter and other occasional yelling. "What''s up?" A response comes from the one prompted. A tall person wearing a muffler, black leather jacket with a grey hood, and denim pants is the one called Ray. The other one who yelled his name is called Chris. He is wearing a puff jacket that makes him look slightly fat, with denim pants. "What are you''re plans today my dude?" He says with an intimate attitude. "Nothing much, just going shopping and then going home. How is it with the pulange?" Chris smiled in response to the question, "It''s going great, I may get lucky this time around! The batch is giving off a good response to the adjustments I made! It''s almost time as well! Luckily, the weekend is here and long enough to stay!" "What would you do if it wasn''t convieniently the weekend then..." Ray retorted. "Ditch school of course." Chris says while looking away at the distance. Behind Chris, Ray catches sight of someone who stands out from the crowd. Someone with a unrivaled appearance and yet visibly avoided she bears an expressionless expression as if she is used to this. Chris notices Ray''s distraction as he looks at him and traces his eyes to her. "Hmm? You have in interest in her? You should avoid her." Chris warns him. "Why? What''s wrong with her?" "Hmm, well first off, although she may look like a first year like us, she is actually a senior. Second off, there have been constant rumors that everyone who even tries to associate with her meet a untimely end. Well I should get going now to check up on my pulange. Cya!" Chris shouts as he bolts off. Ray continues staring at her for a while longer until finally going off in the direction of his home. Ray brings out a rod from his pocket and presses a button which powers the rod, showing it as a holographic device that displays a multi-color prismatic view. Ray fiddles with the device, opening up applications and surfing the internet. He comes across a video showing a fight between one hero and a sin. "Sss, we''ve been taught it''s never a good idea to go toe-to-toe with a Sin alone." Ray muttered in response. He opened up the page the link led to however anyways as he reached the gates of his house. He opens the gate, closes it behind him, unlocks and opens the door to his house while closing the door behind him at the same time locking the door. He plays the video with sound. *Pew pew pew pew pew!* Powerful rail fire sounds are sounded immediately from the video as the Sin howls in pain and 5 crystal spears pierce into it''s side, back, and one even hit it''s face. That''s not what puts Ray into shock however. It''s the hero. The hero fighting the Sin has the same expressionless face as the girl he saw earlier. The holograph dissapeared, powered off by Ray. He took a moment to recollect what he had just seen as he had pressed the power off button on impulse. He presses the button again, powering the device back on, only to show that the video was claimed and deleted. He sweats for a moment, before just moving on. Chapter 1 Ray walks to his kitchen from his entrance room which was his living room and prepares himself some instant noodles. He then opens the fridge and grabs a container of clear liquid, grabs himself a cup, and pours the liquid into it. He grabs the cup and starts drinking it while peering out the window. He sees the various buildings; some of which block his view of seeing more. He then puts down the cup, grabs a bowl from a cabinet where he got his cup from and grabs the packet, bends it twice horizontally and vertically, creating cracking sounds within, then dumps it in the bowl, grabs the packet that falls out and sprinkles it on the noodles that come out. He then grabs the bowl, puts it under a coffee maker, and presses a few buttons on it to making the coffee maker dispense water, grabs the bowl again and brings it upstairs. Reaching the top of the stairs, he makes his way down a hall where there''s only one door. He holds the bowl on one hand while opening the door with another. He comes into a room with a bed, a desk with a computer setup, a few posters with various things displayed, and a column of 3 shelves. He then sets the bowl on a desk with a computer setup on it, power the computer on. *Whirr* The computer makes a sound in the desolately quite room. Ray sits down in the chair and begins consuming the noodles as they finally turned soft. He finishes, sets it aside and looks at his plasmic screen. He begins surfing the web as he looks for any loose ends to that video he recently saw. He searches for a good hour or two and finds nothing. The very first result that displays catches his eye in a instant; "Hidden S-rank Hero?" With the same very thumbnail he saw when he opened the other video, a furless beast with spikey spines that can raise at any time and showing it''s teeth in a ferocious manner. He opens it, and sees the girl once again. He sees no fear in her eyes as she goes toe-to-toe with what seems to be a A-rank Sin. He realizes that the battle isn''t very simple for her either as the A-rank Sin landed a direct hit on her, yet she took it head on and ended up with no repercussions. She condenses energy on her left and right simultaneously, blasting at the A-rank Sin, throwing it at a nearby rock. The A-rank Sin, midair, fired it''s spikes on it''s spine at the girl, however she just continued to indifferently stare at the sin. Just as the spikes got within a feet of her, she waved her hand and all of the spikes suddenly diverted course, striking the building that was behind her. She then kicked into the air, leaving a ditch in the earth where she used to be, and kicked at the beast, while twirling. At the same time, she also condensed energy at the tip of her shoe. The A-rank Sin managed to get out of the way in time, but still ended up suffering the recoil of her kick as the ground shattered violently and pieces shot out like shrapnel, turning one of the A-rank Sin''s leg into swiss cheese. The Sin raised it''s head in response, seemingly letting out a whine, and the girl finally stopped her attacks on it. She puts one of her hands on her hips and scans the area. The camera blacked out as the cameraman dipped as it was secretly filming. Ray, who finished the video stared at the screen, astonished at what he had seen. Who is this person who has managed to hide her true identity as a S-rank Hero? He had found himself thinking as if that was to why that was the reason people avoided her, the ones close to her probably ended up finding out the truth of her and was put in danger. "You still don''t understand the truth, human. The true reality of this world." A female voice suddenly sounds in Ray''s mind. "Haa... Haa... Haa.." Ray was suddenly sent into a hyperventalation. "But no need for me to explain, hehe. You will learn in due time." A foreboding, sinister voice. Ray closes out of the window and then stumbles his way to his bed. Right, I still need to do shopping... Ray falls on his stomache on the bed with his face buried in it.
