《The Sorcerer King and the White Rabbit Queen.》 Prologue. Drifting endlessly through avoid of never ending darkness is a peculiar rainbow colored orb, or wisp as some would call it. For it more resembles a flame than anything else. This wisp is but a simple lost soul that had parished under uncertain circumstances, unable to live a full and filling life. The soul drifts endlessly meditating over the life it previously lived. A boy growing up through life alongside a special friend, going through both the good and bad of life. Consoling each other through illness and sorrow. One desiring nothing more than the company and love of the girl he spent his youth with. The girl seeking love and companionship elsewhere. Needless to say the boy''s hopes for happiness and love forever drifted beyond his grasp. The soul was a simple boy in life. He was rather good looking, yet he was never the most social person there was to strangers. It took time for him to open up to new people, but when he did he was a fiercely loyal friend who one could confide with when trouble arises. He was rather intelligent and never lacked in academics. When school and university years ended he was able to secure a simple and stable career in his hometown. He never desired large mansions or fancy cars. The appeal of high society never caught his attention. He desired a simple life and family. His own happy life. Unfortunately for him the only girl he had ever loved and desired never shared the sentiment. Growing up together, bonding, caring for each other. It was like their childhood never happened. She eventually drifted out of his life and into the embrace of another, leaving him completely devastated. It is from that day on he had completely shutdown socially. Other than at work or when he shopped for his necessities, one would rarely see him out in public. He retreated into solitude and escaped to the world of fiction and literature. From novels to movies, animations to video games, Comics and manga. He engrossed himself in fictional worlds. Dreaming of a life that could never be, with someone he had already lost to another. This has been the life he had lived until... He had awaken and found himself in an endless void of nothingness. Darkness no matter where he looked. He had no limbs to wave around, never could he succumb to fatigue and sleep, he was all but lost and could only panic. Panic he did for what he felt had been days. Once he had finally calmed down he had eventually concluded that he was in fact dead. He was but a lost soul taken from his mortal shell and left to drift. He did not find himself in a heaven or hell. This felt more akin to purgatory than anything else. Unable to sleep, eat, or do anything else really, the soul began to practice a technique he had learned from a book a long time ago. Meditation. Meditating took far more focus than he had expected. There were far more distacting thoughts going through his head than he expected. It felt like a month before he could properly organize his thoughts and soon found himself meditating clearly. He continued his meditation without fail for what felt like years. Without fatigue, stamina, or his bodily needs restricting him. He was able to completely clear his mind and achieve clarity. With his newfound clarity he was able to look back on his life and recall even the smallest of details he had long since forgotten. The answers on his 8th grade exams, his first pet ferret''s name, ''her'' heart shaped birthmark behind ''her'' left ear. What was once forgotten returned to him clearly as the day he first discovered him and permanently recorded in the memory of his soul. He can now perfectly recite aloud every since line from books such as Harry Potter and the Hunget Games easily. He could never do that with his simple flesh and blood body! After reciting ''Loveless'' aloud for the thousandth time his meditation continued for an even longer period of time. Here in the void one cannot properly understand the concept of time. Has it been minutes? Hours? Days, months, years, or decades? The drifting soul could no longer tell. At this point he can no longer bring himself to care. All of the loneliness and sorrow that has once ailed him no longer bothers him. He had long since passed the stages of grief and reached acceptance. He is content. His true desire for happiness may have been granted by thrusting his soul into the endless abyss. "If this is what my wish is in the end. Then I can accept it." The soul hums, "I just hope she can attain the happiness she desires in the end..." ... The rainbow colored soul continues it''s endless meditation through the abyss as it has since it had started ages ago. However he begins to feel something different than before. Considering the only feeling the soul had experienced since reaching the void happened to be emotions. "I guess emotions aren''t just mere chemical reactions stemming from the brain." The soul says, "a touch of spirituality is also included. How enlightening." As for the new feeling the soul is experiencing. It feels warm, yet at the same time cold. Gentle but also fierce. As the strange new sensations continue to engulf him and eventually start to settle, new information is ''downloaded'' into his memories of sort enlightening him to this new addition to his soul. Magic! He understands that the sensation he has experienced is his soul gain and assimilating to a form of mystical energy new to him. Mana as the purest form of energy is called that would allow one to wield and cast miraculous feats. In some stories magic would originate from a sort of core and would grow from there. But for this magic, it originates from his soul.Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. In a way, his soul is his mana. He instinctively knows how to channel it. By his will alone a violet colored ball of light appears in front of the little rainbow wisp causing it to bounce joyfully. "I just did magic!" The soul cheers happily. He then proceeda to manipulate and move it around him. It''s range from a few simple inches to meters. Next he begins to alter it''s very shape. Fron a ball, square, rectangle. He even manipulated it to resemble the Triforce from the Legend of Zelda series. Next he started shaping it into animals and people, real or fiction. George Washington, Robert Downey Jr. Link from the LoZ series. There was even a phoenix, eastern amd western dragons, and even Slenderman just for amusements sake. He spent an endless amount of time shaping his magic and even giving them animate forms as well. When you have endless free time you may as well use it wisely. Plus watching the first president of the U.S. fist fight a dragon amused the soul to know end. ... His next experiment with his magic involved giving his magic other properties. Magic is amazing on it''s own but it can also be infinitely flexible. There are a number of elemental properties and with magic they can be harnessed by experienced magicians or sorcerers. That also depends on the source of references in which magic originates. Magic from the Harry Potter series operates so much differently from magic from the anime Fairy Tail or the video games such as Dragon Quest. In most Chinese martial arts novels. Wood is considered an element. In Naruto Wood is the combination of Earth and Water natures. The point is that elements can be different depending on which world it originates. The wandering soul can instinctively feel that with time and effort. He can create techniques for elements of all kinds, as well as non-elemental magics. His imagination is working in double time to brainstorm as many different spells as possible. Spells ranging from those with force of tactical nukes, to smaller and more mana efficient spells. There were a few he created simply for practical pranks sake just for a few laughs. There included a few spell he felt should be added to a list specifically labeled as forbidden. He anticipated the need for moderation should he some how gain a physical body. Some of his ideas also dabbled in darker types, such as Necromancy, however he has no intention of ever trying those out. This rainbow colored wisp has standards yo! ... The next area of magic surprisingly worked out well of the drifting wisp. This magic involved the creation of physical matter at the expense of mana. He started with simple objects like pebbles, feathers, and soft balls. But then he started working his magic on bigger and more complex objects. Before long his little patch of void was occupied with a manner of items ranging from simple toys to vehicles. Some existing and some from fantasy and fiction. Instead of outright creating something from nothing, he chose to make some items from scratch just creating the parts needed. He remembered the old firearms creation and maintenance manuals his father had laying around in life. Ole dad was a former military man who love to collect, build, and maintain guns and most of the books were easily available to the soul. The first gun he built was an old gun from the western days. A Single Action Army. Colt Single Action Army, also known as Single Action Army, SSA, Model P, Peacemaker, and M1873. It was designed for the U.S. government service revolver trials of 1872 by Colt''s Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company. But to the drifting soul it brought back nostalgia in regards to those old western movies in life. Plus... "Sigh... If only I had hands. I could do my best Revolver Ocelot impression pardner." The soul could only sigh at it''s lack of a corporeal body. Although later on he managed to shape his magic into functional arms which made playing around with his creations possible to some extent. They, to him reminded him of the Vectors from the anime/manga Elfen Lied. But visible and less likely to dismember people. He also noticed that his ignored creations would eventually dissolve into nothingness if he neglected them for long. The void is not a hospitable place for solid matter it seems. This also shied him away from the creation of organic and living matter. For he has no idea what kind of horrors they would experience here in the void. No oxygen, possibly freezing. Who knows how bad the gravity is in the void? It could be nonexistent or this place could probably crush something instantly. Never bothered his creations at first, but then again they were created entirely from his magic so that could have factored into their survivability. The soul did not care, for he was more focused on the infinite possibility magic brings to him. ... And so another period of time passes for the drifting rainbow colored wisp that the soul is. By this point his creations have long since returned to nothingness. He had done all he could possibly think of when it comes to magic. Without a body of his own he cannot do some of the other magic experiments he desired. So once again he went back to his blissful meditation. Waiting for the day he may possibly escape the void that he drifts. Little did he know, that chance may be closer than he expects. [Ohoho! What do we have here?] A voice echoes through the voice startling the little soul from his slumber- or rather meditation. By this point it''s the same thing to him. Ethereal and somewhat feminine. A voice that is seemingly filled with endless wisdom. A gentle warmth. "Huh?" [A lonesome soul has found itself wandering in the void. Those beautiful rainbow colored wisps, so pure with nary an ounce of corruption.] He can feel the curiosity brimming from the voice. [Your memories and creativity has led to you making some tremendous progress with the magical forces your soul has come to develop. I can already predict that your rebirth will be quite easy for you.] "Rebirth?" The soul asks. [Indeed. You have been lost within my embrace unnoticed for so long. Going so long without losing yourself to madness and even reaching such mastery over a newly developed power. Your efforts deserve a reward.] [Those lesser beings, the gods will not be responsible for your rebirth. Oh no, your my little soul. I will give you all my love and blessings for your new life. The happiness in life you so desired but were denied, may you gain it in your new life. Perhaps you will find the one whom your heart had longed for all along.] "Wha... Huh?" The soul is suddenly assaulted by something he had not felt since awakening in the void ages ago. Drowsiness. He can feel his consciousness slipping from him so suddenly. "Will I finally... Be free...? I just... Wanna... Sleep..." [Rest my child. For your life will soon start anew. Remember I, your mother, will always be watching over you. I go by many names. The Void, the Primordial Chaos, the Creator. But for you and you alone, you may call me mother.] [Now rest my child so that you may be born again...] Finally the rainbow colored wisp, a soul that had drifted through the void for countless years, has finally entered it''s slumber so that it can finally be reborn. To be continued... ... ... ... ... ... A boy opens his eyes after resting for what felt like an eternity. The pupil of his eyes are violet, his black hair reaching just below his shoulder blades. Oddly enough he has streaks of different colored hair mixed in with the black on the hair''s tips. His hair resembles the soul''s coloration from the void. Rainbow mixed with a void black base. Odd, yet cute for the child. On his forehead lies the brand of the void. The Mark of Chaos, which is a black tear shaped gem that gleams with other colors as different volumes of light comes into contact with it. The boy sits up and lets out a satisfying yawn, while stretching his arms and hearing his back let out a loud pop. "Ah!... What a nice nap." The boy says before looking around and tilting his head aside. "Where am I?" Chapter 1. *Inhales* . . . *Exhales* "Haaa....." The boy takes a deep breath and holds it, before exhaling it. He repeats this a few times over and over again hoping dearly that this is real. "Air... How I missed thee so." You can never truly appreciate something until you have gone so long without it. Even the simple act of breathing is able to bring bliss to the boy. Breathing the fresh air, hearing the sound of the sea crashing against the shores. The scent of the ocean, the feel of the sand between your fingers. The boy is experiencing all of this for the first time in years. As for how long? "777 years..." The boy murmurs to himself. Resting his right hand palm on his forehead, he sighs and then smiles as he looks up into the clear mid-morning skies above. "I truly am alive again. Thank you mother." As if to reply to his thanks a warm feeling envelopes him causing him to smile warmly. Information that was not previously known to him has appeared in his head, information that he gladly accepts. One of the gifts granted to him by his mother. One that is a parent''s duty to their beloved child. "My name is... Nero Le Fay." He says and chuckles, "seriously mother? Le Fay?" Sitting there silently in contemplation Nero said, "In hindsight there are not a whole lot of magical figures from mythology as well known as Morgan Le Fay. I mean I don''t really know Merlin''s surname. At least I have never heard of one before." Laying back on the ground Nero said, "I like it mom, thanks. In this new life of mine, I will accept the name of Nero Le Fay proudly!" ... Nero rests comfortably on the sandy beach before sitting up and taking a look around for a change to get his bearings. "Let''s see here," Nero glances up and down the beach in both directions, "I''m obviously on a beach, but is it an island or a larger landmass?" He narrows his eyes and focuses on something laying on the beach in the distance that suspiciously like a human being. "Is that a person?" Nero asked. As he goes to stand up his hand lands on a large solid object and attracts his attention. "What do we have here?" Nero picks of the object in question to examine it, only to find that it is a large and rather ancient looking black book made of an unknown leather material with silver trimmings framing every edge. The book is a grimoire and has as it''s title, "Library of the Wizard World". As Nero examines the book he notices a lone piece of paper sticking out and finds a note written to him. --- Nero, If you are reading this note then that means you have already awakened and found the grimoire I have left for you. First things first, I want to congratulate you on a successful rebirth and also warn you to not start recklessly harnessing your magic so soon. In the void you had no perception of distance, nor did you have an understanding of the sheer volume and power of your self created spells. To put it simply my son, a common low level fireball in the void is equal to a city leveling atom bomb. Understood? Great! The grimoire is a sort of storage for numerous magical texts from a world you are familiar with. Additionally there are materials for which you can use to train with as well as tools available to make use of those materials. You have the power and an endless supply of mana, now all you need is control. I gave you your new life as a 6 years old child as it would give you time to reach mastery as well as spend time with that someone ''special''.If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. On the subject of that someone ''special'', I want you to understand that she never truly meant to hurt you. Believe it or not, the world you lived in previously was not all that normal below the surface. She possesses one of the purest and most powerful of souls and the occult forces beneath society''s surface desired that soul for themselves and bewitched her. Souls partaking in the occult arts are destined for purification and are doomed to obscurity, but with certain dark rituals a dark soul can attach themselves to a pure soul and get ferried off into the reincarnation cycle with all of their memories and experiences intact. Currently the dark soul would have been reborn in another unfortunate soul''s vessel and lives yet again, but unfortunately the soul''s link is still anchored into the pure soul which would allow the dark soul to track her down and repeat the ritual once again. These dark souls are greedy and power hungry by nature, so it will attempt to reclaim her at the earliest convenience. My advice and the only time I would allow you to use the full force of your overwhelming magical power, is to purge her soul of the link anchoring the dark soul. This way the dark soul will not be able to track her down and attempt to bewitch her once again. This way, by the time either you or her encounter the dark soul again would be when both of you are far too powerful for it to even have a chance. Good luck my son and enjoy your new life. Love you! --- "Her?" Nero asked and glances at the distant figure further down the beach. He then asks himself, "It can''t be her right...?" Taking his grimoire into his hands, Nero stands up and slowly walks towards the sleeping figure down the beach. His expression changing rapidly between worry, sadness, betrayal, and most of all, hope. According to his mother, her drifting away from him was never truly her own fault or free will. But it still hurt him nonetheless. He isn''t sure how he should react when he sees her again. Would he still have the ability to express the feelings or emotions he had lost so long ago? His time as a disembodied soul has changed him so much spiritually that he fears that he would not be the same personality wise. For better or worse, Nero does not know. Nero has arrived near the slumbering figure. He instinctively knows it is her despite not looking remotely the same as she did in their last life. Gone is the chestnut colored curls that rested comfortably on her shoulders. Now her hair is as white as snow and flowing straight to her shoulders. On her head he notices a pair of... "Horns?" Nero asked quietly as he notices the pair of horns growing from her head proudly, resembling that of a rabbit''s ears. "No way. Did mother make her..." Nero notices the large scroll she is hugging tightly as a body pillow of sorts, "I guess she did. Hahaha... She took our interests into consideration when bring us back alive. I have always been more interest in the endless potential of magic, although Harry Potter was not my first choice of interest..." Nero then looks at the sleeping girl''s face and smiles while saying, "she had always been more partial to ninjas. I guess looking like an Otsutsuki clansman suits her." Focusing some magic into his eyes they begin to glow a brighter shade of violet and he begins to examine her body. He notices the pathways and tenketsu points, Nero says, "I can see her chakra pathways and tenketsu points. She is definitely a ninja." Deepening his magical focus he is able to see the condition of her soul. It is a beautiful shade of gold free of imperfection, or it would be is it were not for the menacingly blackish-red spot anchored to her soul with what appears to be a line of string leading off into who knows where. See this causes Nero to frown. "What an ugly and impure presence that has anchored itself to your soul," Nero says in utter disgust, "there is only one thing that can be done about this..." Nero places his hand on the sleeping girl''s chest and begins channeling an overwhelming amount into her body, focusing solely on her soul alone so as not to harm her physical body. As a soul directly influenced and personally reincarnated by Lady Chaos herself, her soul is more than enough to handle the purging Nero is going to put her soul through. As his mana is being released in large volumes, it begins to affect the environment. The skies darken, the sea begins to churn violently. The wildlife goes silent and returns to their nests in fear. Although the power being released is not threatening. Their instincts were screaming in caution. A loud ghastly wail echoes loudly as his mana washes her soul and completely obliterates the dark soul''s anchor and link to her soul. A dark disembodied wisp with glowing red eyes is ripped from her body. Glaring hatefully at Nero, it is then pulled by the link towards it''s original soul in the unknown world beyond the island. Wiping the sweat from his brow Nero stares off into the direction the dark fragment had been dragged off. "Geez, I was the one given a Harry Potter inheritance. How the hell did you end up someone''s horcrux?" He asked with a chuckle before sitting down and watches her sleeping peacefully as if nothing had ever happened to her. It''s been an hour before the sleeping girl has begun to stir from her sleep. Her eyes open reveal a pair of seemingly pupil-less white irises with a hint of lavender. On her forehead is a slight bump that Nero believes to be her third eye. The girl yawns widely and sits up rubbing her tired eyes before looking around. She asks, "Where am I? Did we go to the beach for our graduation celebration? I thought we planned to go hiking..." Looking around she finally notices Nero and narrows her eyes as she tries to recall who he is. Suddenly her eyes flash briefly before realization finally kicks in. Her eyes widen and the biggest smile she can muster appears on her face in sheer joy. "NERO!" She shouts out in happiness before tackling Nero into a crushing hug while laughing and shedding tears of joy. Chapter 2. Nero smiles as the girl whom he had shared his early years in his past hugs him tightly, shedding tears of joy at their reunion. Although he is pretty confused when she mentioned their high school graduation trip. After a while she sets him loose and examines him closely before asking, "Nero! When did you dye your hair? What''s that shiny black tear drop on your forehead? Why do you look so young?..." She looks down and rubs her chest before signing sadly, "where did my boobs go?" Her questions came out a mile a second causing him to chuckle wryly. "Haha... Slow down there! I will answer as many questions as possible." He assures her before coughing to clear his throat. "I''ll start with the main important fact that you will need to know. First of all we died, that is right. Died. This is how I look now and that is how you look from now on. We are kids again." Nero explains to her. Hearing that the two of them died she begins to tear up. She begins to sniffle sadly at the fact that both her and Nero had died, "b-but I didn''t want to die! What about mom and dad? Auntie and Uncle! We never got to graduate... *sniffs*" "Wait... What?" Before Nero could ask a piece of paper flutters down from above and lands in his hands. --- Hi there darling! Mother here again! I forgot to mention in the last note that I erased all of her memories of her life beyond the last few months of before your graduation. If she were to know how she pushed you away, bewitched or not, she would have been devastated. Even if her will was never her own, she was still aware. Bye-bye sweetie! --- "Huh... Mother sure is thorough in her work." Nero said. He watches over his mourning childhood sweetheart and pets her head softly in comfort, which seems to work a little. ''It is for the best I suppose.'' He thought with a smile. "So..." Nero drones on and pauses before asking, "my name in this new life is Nero, Nero Le Fay. What name did mother bestow upon you?" Wiping the tears from her eyes and sniffles once more. She looks into Nero''s eyes and smiles brightly, her tear stain face sparkling in the sunlight. As replies, "Mother-in-law bestowed to me the name, Deva Le Fay." Deva then goes to explain that she was named after the sultry Moon Goddess of the Hintu panteon. Then she continues" Le Fay to be the family name."Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. She looks into Nero''s eyes before blushing shyly while fidgeting, "Mother-in-law sure is shipping us. N-not that I don''t mind. Deva Le Fay... It has a nice ring to it *Squeals*." Nero just watches her daydreaming with sweatdrop and thinks to himself, ''If that cultist creep and his pig of a father never showed up, then would she have happily married me?'' As Deva continues to daydream, Nero is finally able to clearly see the large scroll she was holding. A familiar red swirl is on the side of the scroll and his suspicion has been confirmed. Deva was always a fan of old Chinese martial arts, samurai, and ninja legends. She especially enjoyed the Naruto series. So it makes sense that his mother would bestow her a legacy to keep up with his overpowered magical capabilities. Between the mother of chakra legacy or an immortal cultivator. Either one of them would give him a run for his money and she would end up a celestial beauty when she grew up. ''Haa... Wizards, sorcerers, and other magic types lack in physical capabilities. I better spend some time building up my body if I want to keep up with that bundle of endless energy.'' Nero thought to himself and smiles. ... ... ... After spending time catching up with each other. Nero and Deva decide to explore the island they have found themselves stranded on. Walking along the beach, they eventually come across a bay surrounded by land in a crescent pattern. "It''s beautiful." Nero said admiringly at the beautiful tropical paradise before them. Deva agrees, "It is. We should make this our home!" He could only nod in agreement. The bay would be perfect for them. All they would need to do is build themselves a shelter and scour the area for some resources. A reliable and clean fresh water source, a place to harvest wild vegetables and fruits, plus catalogue the island''s fauna in order to work out a proper hunting plan. Something tells them that they will be eating fish more than anything. With Deva following the shinobi path, she would need the most nutrition in order to grow properly. After finding the bay the two continue to follow the beach all the way around and discover that the island is no more than a couple of miles in radius. Once the two return to the same bay it had already become later in the evening, a mere hour and a half away from sunset. At this point the two focus their exploration inland in hopes of finding a water source. Fortunately they were in luck and found a small lake being feed by a waterfall with a small river originating from the mountain at the island''s center. Taking a quick sip of the crystal clear water, Nero confirms it''s freshness with a smile. While chatting for a bit, the sun begins to set on the two. So as to not be stranded in the darkness, Nero and Deva search for shelter and luckily stumble upon the cavern behind the waterfall that has it''s own personal lake seperated from the one outside. The cave is lit up by numerous luminescent crystals growing on the walls and ceiling of cavern. After looking around they can confirm that there is only two entrances to this subterranean paradise. One being the waterfall, the other being the underwater caves feeding the mini lake pure fresh aqua. It is at this moment Nero and Deva had decided... "This is home!" Chapter 3. When the next morning rolled in the two decided to continue their exploration of the island after eating a few local fruits they found. Basically bananas and coconuts found near the shores. Due to the high purity and cleanliness of the lake hidden behind the waterfall. Nero and Deva had decided to purely use it as a source fo drinking water while the water outside in the main lake would be used for their personal hygiene. After a quick clean up they left to explore. Judging by the sun''s position and the arc it was rising. Nero concluded that the bay was to the west. With the mountain at the island''s center, they decided to focus their exploration going in a clockwise pattern. For the next week Nero and Deva had explored every single inch of the island, excluding the mountain. They found ravines and caverns, streams of water flowing from the origin point, the mountain. They were able to rate each section of the island as territories for vicious wild beasts that thankfully let them be. To the north was a massive horse sized white tiger. To the south was a large boar, east was the territory of the biggest snake they had ever seen. It resembled the prehistoric Titanoboa. To the west were the mostly amiable and passive apes that would rip you to shreds if you offend them. But most of all, neither territory lord would even approach territory at the center of the island for some reason. There lies something more terrifying than the other beast clans. Whatever it is, the two let curiosity compel them and made the journey. By first circling the outside parameter of the mountain territory they hoped to get a good look at who rules the territory. They soon found out and were surprised to say the least. Packs of prehistoric reptiles, most being as high as the two 6 years old''s waists. But the larger and more dangerous of these creatures rivaling the height of a full grown adult. Average standards. They were colorful and feathery reptilians in nature. Velociraptors. Alive and kicking and surprisingly not overpopulating the island completely. This led Nero to suspecting a massive underground ecosystem beneath the island preserving a number of these thought to be extinct animals. "So... Dinosaurs yo?" Deva said. Nero just nods, "Indeed. Real live natural dinosaurs and not those biological monstrosities created by Dr. Wu. "Why do none of these predator''s attack us and how is there enough resources to keep them all fed?" Deva asks. This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. Shaking his head with a shrug, Nero replies, "You got me. Let''s just look around and not piss off the dinos. I thought I saw a path leading up the mountain on the southside." "Okay! I really want to pet a raptor and name one Blue." ... "Let''s spelunker!" Deva cheers as they follow the steep rigid path up the mountain towards the flat summit. "Spelunking is cave diving Deva..." Nero says with a blank expressin on his face. "Oh, that''s right! Teehehehe!" She bonks her own head, sticking her tongue out playfully. ''Sigh... Deva sure is letting out her inner child even though she is technically an adult in mind and soul.'' Nero thought to himself, ''did my 777 years in the void save me from such childish antics or is it just her?'' The two have been ascending the path for well over an hour now and the fatigue is finally starting to set in. Nero is surprised that it even took this long considering their 6 year old bodies. But if he had to guess, then it would be the mana augmenting his physique and easing some of the tiredness. Deva can chalk her stamina up to the chakra flowing through her pathways. Soon enough we have made it to the flat peak of the mountain only to discover... "Is that a Stargate?" Nero asks tilting his head in confusion. Of all the things they expected to find on the mountain. A giant bird''s nest, a dragon, the lord of the island, treasure, a volcano mouth. But a Stargate? "I will admit, I did not see that coming..." Moving close to the large stone archway with numerous runic symbols decorating the face. Nero finds another note written by his ''Mother'' while Deva curiously examines the arch by randomly rubbing it down. --- Hello again darling! You have found the Void Gate! I want to explain a little about this mystical and wonderful island. The island is set in it''s very own dimensional plane that is seperated, yet at the same time connected to a main hub world. Everyone outside of the island can see, but never reach this island and thus dubbed it, The Mirage Island! Or to some the Illusory Island. The island is connected to and thriving off of your endless supply of mana and it nourishes the inhabitants. The island is a part of you, but at the same time separate. As the island is nurished by your mana it will continue to grow as will the animals and plants inhabiting it. Any other plants introduced and reared on your island will be subjected to this wonderful boon. Plant life will literally thrive and fully mature in no time flat. Can you imagine how fast immortal herbs will grow here? This island is paradise for flora! Anyways. Without your permission no one can intrude here. Even if they did, what awaits them are a prehistoric giant snake, packs of vicious and highly intelligent raptors, a big white kitty, a piggy, and apes capable of learning and mastering the art of kung-fu. Your island is not one to fuck with my son! Now as for the Void Gate? It allows you to step into and visit countless other worlds to explore, gather resources, and recruit people to live on your ever growing island paradise that will eventually become a continent of it''s own. Perhaps even it''s own world. But be warned, it''s not the most stable gateway but it is more reliable than any other gateway through my domain. Any other Crossing God or Reincarnation god would expend alot of their own divinity to accurately send souls to other worlds. That is with a margin of error. That is all for now, bye-bye sweetie! PS. I left you a token within your grimoire that will expend itself to freely contruct one structure based on your imagination alone. Just... Don''t try to constuct something too excessive please. The island is still in the embryo stage and only 5 mere miles in radius. --- Looking back and forth at the note and the Void Gate in which Deva is happily climbing on. Nero just shrugs his shoulders and says... "I still say it''s a Stargate..." Chapter 4. Nero and Deva spent some time atop the flat summit of the mountain admiring the beautiful view of the island. From up there they can see nearly every inch of the island, with the exceptions being the depths of the ravine. Nero still has suspicions of there being a hidden prehistoric ecosystem below the island. One he plans to investigate later on. There will be plenty of time while waiting to grow up again. Due to his surname being gifted after the legendary Morgan Le Fay of Arthurian legends. The two agreed on naming the island, Avalon. The two hike back down the mountain to return home in order to plan out their lifestyle for the next few years while waiting to grow up again. Of course Deva may have "raptornapped" a young raptor to keep as a pet (future nin-raptor) to care for and raised. ''Glad these beasts are loyal to the lords of the island'' Nero said to himself with a sweatdrop. He is glad the little blue feathered reptilian is a cheerful and happy critter. Once they reached their beautiful cavern home they set up a makeshift bed of sticks and large, oversized tropical leaves that are surprisingly comfy. Nero tried to make a separate bed but Deva would not have that. She demanded cuddles! ... During the evening, just before sunset, the two discuss their plan for the next few years of growing up again. Fortunately neither of them need to waste time with academics again. Both did graduate from high school and go through college after all. Well, Nero did. In the process of erasing Deva''s later years in life, Chaos may have left the college knowledge in... Rhymes lol. Nero''s magic capacity is literally unlimited and his power could technically be considered peak level. So all he would need is to work on the control aspects so he does not accidentally erase a few settlements. So Nero''s schedule will be moderate physical conditioning and mass reading and memorization of the complete magical library of the Harry Potter world before he begins practical lessons. So as to not get bored, he may practice a few basic spells. His grimoire comes with a specially crafted wand designed to limit his magic expense to the barest minimum after all. Once his control improves, the more his wand will allow. So there will be no threat of him sinking Avalon. Deva''s schedule is far more compact than Nero''s. Considering her training will require her to be physically active nearly all the time. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it. She will need to workout and build up her body''s edurance, stamina, and strength. Then she will need to master performing her handsigns as fast as possible with numerous different combinations. There is also perfecting her throwing skills, learning to hide her presense and sneaking skills. Not to mention chakra control and improving her reserves. As an Otsutsuki, her reserves are already impressive and will not stop growing. Which means chakra control is a neverending practice for her. Both Nero and Deva will be busy for the next few years. They are both lucky they have more time to spend without the distractions of society. Just a 6 years old boy and girl on an island that will continue to grow endlessly. Just an aspring wizard and ninja ... "So, how shall we proceed?" Nero asked. He had just finished washing up under the waterfall and is drying himself in the morning sun. Sitting down a short distance away, Deva is currently polishing her horns gently so as to not break them. She is currently unaware that her horns are far more durable than she expects. "Dunno, "she replies, "I need alot of physical conditioning for my inheritance. So... I guess I will run around to build up my stamina so I can train longer." Nero nods, "That''s a good start. It will help you out in the long run." "What will you do?" Deva asked, finishing polishing her horns and now focused on grooming her snowy white hair. She looks at Nero with all 3 eyes as he contemplates his answer. "Hm... What to do, what to do." He ponders, rubbing his chin. "Most of my time will be reading a hell of a lot of books." Nero says, "The Harry Potter novels and movies do not go into details the complete history of the wizardry world. Between the tomes available to the general public, to family (or clan) exclusives. Books from Merlin and my ancestor Morgan''s era all the way to modern wizardry." "There are far too many books and alot of information I must absorb. I will end up spending a few years reading. But afterwards I also must put into practice the knowledge." Nero continues. "Haa...." Deva sighs and slumps back against her little boulder. "Growing up again is gonna suck. No tv, no internet, no facebook... no porn..." *Pfft!* *Cough!* *Cough!* Nero had just taken a drink of water when Deva had said that and spew it back out in surprise. He looks at her questioningly with a raised brow. "What?" Deva asks, "Girls watch porn yo! You gotta hurry and grow up boy, this girl ain''t no shotacon!" Nero shrugs and puts her randomness aside and says, "Whatever. I am gonna head up to the Stargate and do some reading. Faster I finish up the brainwork the faster I can start practicing without destroying things." Deva nods as she dresses herself in her casual t-shirt and shorts outfit. Like Nero''s grimoire, the scroll she got came with some outfits for her, but unfortunately they don''t come in kid''s size. "Cool. I''mma run ''round and work out. Later!" Deva runs off towards the beach leaving Nero there wondering if she is going to be okay on her own. But he quickly puts his worries to rest as they are the only two humans on the island with a number of super beasts to protect them. "At least I don''t need to worry about something hurting her. I just need to worry about her hurting herself." Nero chuckles after collecting his grimoire and heading to Stargate Summit. Chapter 5. On this day. Nero and Deva''s training to master their new gifts truly began in full. Most of Nero''s training involved simple reading. However, he would get up in the mornings and do a few simple exercises to get into proper shape. So as to not affect their growths, they never did anything too straining. For 2 hours in the morning Nero would go out for a simple jog to build up some stamina and burn any excess calories. Whether it is possible for him to get fat, he will take no chances at all. Then the endless reading that he must do begins after a rest and a soak beneath the waterfalls. He starts of reading every history of magic books starting from the Age of Merlin, then reads through every single revision or update until the modern days. These histories eventually end in the 2000s. There were a lot of discrepancies in newer models and information that had been censored, but to have different perspectives helped enlightened Nero of some of the lore not quite mentioned in the canon. The next set of books Nero found were... Unfortunately the books written by the fraud and grade A douchebag Gilderoy Lockhart. So Nero did the only reasonable thing at this point. "These abominations belong to the ashes," Nero said while tossing every book written by that con-artist in the flames they figured out how to start on the beach. Next set of books he started reading involved Herbology. Herbology is the study of magical and mundane plants and fungi, making it the wizarding equivalent to botany. These books have the most comprehensive and detailed information in which students learn to care for and utilise plants, learn about their magical properties and what they are used for. Many plants provide ingredients for potions and medicine, while others have magical effects of their own right. Nero is suprised at how many known and unknown flora have been recorded in the books. He is certain that some of them listed in these books were never discovered in the wizarding world. "Jackpot!" Nero said in excitement. He will be able to eventually grow and experiment with some of these plants later on. Additionally the main grimoire has samples of each plant available for him to grow and spread around. Due to Avalon''s magical nature of enhanced plant growth speed, the populations of plant life will soar. But that will be for a later date when Avalon has grown larger. ... ==Nero''s Charm Practice== Nero had just finished reading the materials on Charms. So needless to say, he really wanted to try it. But to do that he would need to use the wand custom-made for him by his mother. Opening his grimoire to the very first page, Nero finds a illustration of an elegant, yet powerful looking wand. Pure white in color with engravings of vines wrapping around until they meet at the very tip. The bottom of the handle is a black colored gem that often shimmers in the light into different colors. A property that it shares with the gem growth on his forehead. Below the illustration is what the wand made of. Materials the wizarding world would never be able to gain. [Length: 15" Wood: Yggdrasil. Core: Void Fabric. Focus Crystal: Void Core.] A specially crafted wand capable of handling and minimizing Nero''s overwhelming magic until he is able to do so naturally. Afterwards it will be used mainly as a luxury. The only type of wood capable of handling his magic in any world is naturally the most pure and powerful tree of all. Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life and Mana. The tree has many legends ranging from fantasy to even norse mythology. In the Harry Potter series Elder Wood is considered the peak in wandmaking, but never had any wand maker had the opportunity to test this god tree''s wood.Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author. Void Fabric was made by solidifying void energy into a flexibly, yet soft material far softer than silk. The void crystal is the same. However it is the crystal''s role to minimize Nero''s mana usage. Nero gently rubs the illustration and watches in wonder as it flashes and the actual wand appears in his hand. He smiles as he caresses the wand and feels every detail. Smooth white wood, the light green vine engravings. The focus gem at the base. "15, Yggdrasil, Void Fabric and Core, "Nero recited the wand''s make, "for a wizard or sorcerer there is no wand as OP. Thanks mom, I''ll put it to good use., He chuckles. "I bet old Ollivander would cream himself if he ever saw this wand." The wand in his hand vibrates excitedly, happy to be in his hand causing him to laugh. "I guess the stories of some wands developing sentience is true. I can feel the intelligence and emotions coming from you." Nero says to his new wand. "I better come up with you a name then. I cannot just call you wand." The wand shudders in agreement. Nero spends a few minutes brainstorming a name for one and comes up with one that satisfies both the wizard and wand. "Arcanum," Nero decided. "Your name will be called Arcanum! I will call you Arc for short, but Arcanum will be your true full name." Arc shudders happily in acknowledgment. He smiles as the wand happily enjoys it''s new name. The emotions he senses from the wand confirm it''s feelings due to their new bond. They understand each other. "Now to put you to the test buddy." The illustrations for spells in the books magically produce a life sized hologram like figure above the books that are faceless and white. When you successfully perform the proper wand motions and chant the proper incantations, the hologram will turn blue. If you mess it up it will turn red. Perfection, as in without the chant and with minimum wand movement, will cause it to turn gold. This is a sign of perfect master. With the swish of his wand, copying the movement of the hologram as closely as possible... Nero chants the first basic charm taught to Hogwarts students, "Wingardium Leviosa!" The leaf he grabbed to practice started to rise as he raised his wand. Looking at the hologram he watched as it turned blue signalling a success. "Nailed it first try." Nero can feel the mana flowing through his body while the spell is in use. It is rampant and wild, threatening to unleash it''s overwhelming power onto the world unfettered. Glancing down at his wand he nods his head, feeling the mana being contained and dispersed so that only the minimum required will flow through Arc. He then says in understandings, "I see. This is how it regulates the mana levels to safer and more effecient levels." Nero looks around him as he feels the excess mana is safely distributed into the atmosphere. "I hope this will have no negative effects on the world around me." He says, "I mean my magic in nature is the Chaos attribute." ... Over the years Nero had completely read each and every book on each field of magic and thoroughly practiced them as well. There were a few mishaps when it came to potions and to some extent, herbology. But with persistence and endless patience, Nero turned his failures into complete successes. Even personal experiments have worked wonders. Potions for bone growths, limb regeneration, illness and disease cures, antidotes. There were potions such as Amortentia (love potion), Polyjuice Potion, Felix Felicis, and even the Veritaserum. He has plenty of useful potions stocked up in the part of the cave he had hollowed out just for them. Never know when one of these potions come in handy after all. Speaking of cleared out spaces. Nero, with Deva''s help or course, constructed a series of bookshelves to store any finished books so as to not accidently read the same ones again. Judging by the number of books, the cave won''t be big enough. So he had Deva, who had already started training in Earth Release ninjutsu, conveniently carve out another room in the cave for more bookshelves. ... It has been 13 years since Nero and Deva had been reborn and both of their training had paid off. Nero had pretty much mastered his magic to the point that his weakest spell would not longer accidentally obliterate their island. At this point he can wandlessly cast his spells, chantless included, without fear of collateral damage. Thanks to some of the animate training dummies stored within the grimoire, he had become so proficient at dueling that even Professor Flitwick would be impressed. Nero dares say that he would not fear dueling the Dark Lord Voldemort himself, not that he ever would have. After all Nero did create spells equivalent to a tactical nuke while in the void. One of those spells would hit Voldemort so hard that his horcux would feel it. One of the greatest changes over years is Avalon itself. When Nero first awakened Avalon was merely 5 miles around. Now Avalon has the general mass of Hawaii. As a matter of fact, the general layout of the landmass of Avalon is a carbon copy of Hawaii. Nero discovered that Avalon''s growth follows the growth he wills it to. If it ain''t broke, don''t fix it. By the time Avalon reaches it''s peak. It will look exactly like his previous Earth. But only larger and more magical. There will be some additional content along the way. Since there are some additional islands added to Avalon, Nero distributed the beasts among the islands. The main island belongs to the Raptor tribes and they could not be happier to have extra territory to explore. The apes'' territory is where O''ahu is. The Titanoboa is in charge of Kauai. Moloka''i belongs to the boars. Last but not least, the White Tiger''s territory is Maui. Where there would normally be the volcano, there is Stargate Summit instead. They do not wish to have an active volcano potentially erupt on them one day. Ever since Avalon''s expansion Nero had started growing some magical herbs in order to expand their species throughout the world in the future. If not Nero would drive them to extinction eventually due to potions alone. As for Deva''s growth... Chapter 6. The first day after Nero and Deva had worked out their initial training regime. Deva left Nero back at their home to his reading and went straight to the beach. Deva wanted to use the early mornings where it still had not warmed up as much to do her endurance exercises. The Shadow Scroll had tips and advice for training a young aspiring shinobi in their early years so as to not negatively affect their growth. It was recommended that endurance training to be used early on to build up the youth''s stamina so that they may spend a lot longer training in other things in the future. So following the recommendations of wise and old veterans, Deva ran as long as her tiny body could. After 15 minutes she had to stop and rest for a few minutes in exhaustion. Running while the sand adds resistance makes it so much difficult, but seeing how it would not hinder her growth she proceeds anyways. After a few hours of torturous running on the beach. Deva rests beneath a tree in the shade and goes over another subject to train in. This time the subject of handseals are brought up. So until lunch time she would practice each seal individually before doing comboes. Deva would delegate a portion of her time every day for a year until she is able to perform flawlessly any combination of hand seals in record time. To her it is a necessary skill to master, for the quicker she can launch a jutsu, the quicker she can kill or escape an enemy. At night Deva would read one of the chakra control scrolls and start with the basic Leaf Exercises. By using her chakra, Deva would attempt to stick a leaf to her forehead. Despite how simple it may seem, Deva would only succeed in doing it once before bedtime. ... It did not take Deva long to master the leaf exercise, but she would still spend time doing it to build up her reserves, while simultaneously adding more leaves and at different parts of her body. If she can release chakra out of her body simultaneously from different parts, then she would never have problems in the future with certain techniques. The Hyuga Rotation technique comes to mind. After a year of relentless physical conditioning, and rejuvenating cuddling with Nero at bedtime, Deva has come to feel ready to take her training to the next level. Deva started practicing some basic academy level martial arts, or taijutsu as it is called in the original works. She would follow the katas to the point using a similar training hologram system that Nero used when he started practical lessons. Just like Nero''s training instructors, Deva''s would go blue with success, red with failure, and gold with mastery. So Deva would stubbornly practice over and over again for days until she saw that beautiful gold signalling her mastery before moving on to the next kata. After perfecting each kata individually Deva would begin the process of combining them perfectly. She went slow at first but gradually getting faster as she had gotten used to one speed. Soon enough her speed when practicing her katas have gone fast enough that it would impress the Green Beast himself. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. Deva was a natural born ninja yo! ... It was as Nero had suspected. When the Apes have witnessed Deva''s training and martial arts, they too had joined in on the fun. You know what they say, "Monkey see, monkey do." When Nero had come to the beach one day to relax after a long study session and saw the apes following Deva in her training regime. He could only sigh and say... "Jesus Christ," Nero sighs, "are these fucking apes gonna turn into saiyans after this?" Nero proceeds to return home mumbling something about being too old for this shit. ... ==Deva''s Stealth Training== The sky is blanketed in dark clouds. Despite being midday, it is very dark. The wind blows heavily and the occasional drops of water can be seen dropping. The sky is threatening to burst into a storm at a moment''s notice. Beneath a tree, munching on some berries, is Nero. Relaxing after practicing his rune carving. His outfit is a little tattered, a side effect of his failure in his latest session. Runes are not safe, but they are beneficial once mastered. A small figure slowly creeps closer to the seemingly "unsuspecting" Nero, sticking to the shadows and his blind spot. Closer and closer the predator moves towards it''s prey, lowering itself into position. Ready to pounce when the time is right. Nero sighs and smiles while saying, "Nice try Deva, but not good enough." He then proceeds to flick a berry back and splatters it over her forehead. "DRATS!" Deva comes stalking out of the shadows sulking while rubbing the berry juices off her forehead. "Aww man!" I thought I had you!" She glares at Nero and accuses, "You cheated didn''t you? Fess up!" Nero chuckles and said, "My magic is not any less cheating than your shinobi chakra. I am just a bad target for this training." She huffs and sits down in annoyance with her arms crossed. Looking at Nero, Deva said, "I don''t buy it, cheater! I gots my eyes on you bub, all 3 of em!" "Hahaha! Why are trying to use me as your first stalking target?" Nero asks. "Lets see here..." She briefly before answering, "Boar Lord is hard mode, Snakey is very hard mode, the monkeys have trained with me so that makes them elite mode, White Kitty is nightmare mode, and even a single raptor is DMD mode." "Well there is your problem! Your trying to defeat the bosses before dealing with the mobs. Try the weaker animals then progress upwards. Then beat the boss by being overleveled." Nero says, suggesting a progression system. Deva nods her head before sighing. "I guess it was too much to expect for me to be able to pull a Dark Souls level 1 win." Deva says in defeat causing Nero to chuckle. From that moment on Deva started to progressively improve her stealth skills, and boy did it take her a while to get the hang of it. Deva has, in the beginning at the very least, had the stealth potential of a bull in a china shop. Even the animals with the worst possible hearing could hear her coming. Through stubborn persistence did she finally improve her stealth skills. In the later years of their training was she able to stroll through raptor territory unnoticed. But much to her annoyance, Deva was still unable to sneak up on that cheating bastard Nero and, for some reason, her pet raptor Blue too. The little feathery fellow joined in on her training, eventually becoming able to harness and manipulate chakra, and surpassed Deva in becoming the sneakiest creature in Avalon. Deva ended up depressed for a while. Her nin-raptor was sneakier than her, most of the apes have become more proficient than her at martial arts, and she can still not sneak up on her man! Deva was not gonna take it sitting down! Her training went up in intensity. She will dominate this island and laugh on as everything bows down to her, admiring her supreme might! Of course in the future she would still be disappointed to know that Nero would have her beat in everything but brute force. Eventually she would start her training in other ninja arts. Ninjutsu, swordsmanship, sealing arts, illusions. Eventually she was able to awaken both of her eyes. The Byakugan and the one single Sharingan on her forehead. So she started adding those to her training as well. Her goal is to remove the blind spot of her all seeing eyes, while also reaching Eternal with her sharingan. Hopeful that she can unlock the Rinnegan and maybe at one point the Rinne-Sharingan. But those hopes will be for the future. By the time they reach 17 years of age, Deva had already become talented in all of the Nature Releases, main and sub. True to her goal, the eyes have reached her desired levels. Eternal for the Mangekyo Sharingan and a perfectly 360¡ã range of vision for her Byakugan. The blind spot has officially been removed! And just like that, their years of training in seclusion have come to an end. Two ridiculously overpowered teenagers will soon step into the wide world to see where they ended up. Chapter 7. **Avalon - Main Island, Chaos Garden.** Nero and Deva had spent years training in their respective trades. Now they are 17 years old and are extremely satisfied with their growth. Nero had become quite handsome as he matured. Losing all of his baby fat and had become more lean with compact muscles. His mature mentality can also be attributed to his soul''s 777 years of growth in the void, so it could be understood. His hair had grown down to his mid-back, so he keeps it tied in a ponytail. His features are more sharper, yet at most times he keeps a carefree smile on his face. Deva on the other hand had developed nicely. In her maturity her womanly assets have developed into what Nero had expected, a celestial beauty that would earn the adoration of men and the envy of women. Her third eye and her bunny like horns add on to her beauty and give her an exotic appeal. Plump chest and buttocks, thin waist, her mesmerizing seemingly pupil-less white eyes with a hint of lavender. If Nero did not have all of those years in the void to build up his willpower and clarity, he was afraid he would have already attacked and ate her. Not that Deva would have minded. Deva looked so much like Kaguya Otsutsuki that she had to brainstorm coming up with her own style as to not copy her. But to Nero, there were some differences that set them apart. With Nero''s help Deva''s waist length hair was tied into a braided ponytail with a black bow at the base. Deva''s outfit is a custom variation of Kaguya''s attire. Long, black gown with gold and purple trimmings, covering her entire body. The magatama are blood red rather than the normal white. On the back of her gown is the symbol Nero came up with for the Le Fay Family. A black rose embraced by the shining full moon in the background. Beneath Deva''s gown is a standard black ANBU uniform. As for Nero''s attire. He is wearing a standard white buttoned up shirt with a black tie and suit pants beneath a set of the smoothest silk robes to ever come from the Harry Potter series. Due to him being more of an intellectual, he chose a more Ravenclaw coloration of his robes, but replaced the emblem with his very own Le Fay Family emblem on the back. Nero and Deva had recollected their belongings back in their grimoire and scroll respectively in order to do their next project. Nero walks to the edge of Stargate Summit and stares over the edge to admire the view alongside his companion for life. Taking his hand into her own, Deva looks at Nero and smiles, and in return getting a smile back. This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. As they both grew older, Deva had lost much of her hyperactivity and became much more composed. Not to say she is not the same expressive person. Just not as... extreme. "Back to where we left off again?" Nero says remembering fondly the years of isolation they spent together in Avalon. Deva nods her head and said, "Yes. In a way this can be our second graduation. But instead of majoring in any basic courses we graduate as magicians and ninjas." "Think you can take on the Hokage?" Nero asks teasingly. Deva just scoffs, "Oh please! I can smack Madara Uchiha and Kaguya Otsutsuki in their bitch ass faces! The Hokage ain''t nothing." Nero just laughs at her boasts. Deva is not lying though. If she were given the opportunity to fight both of them, she could likely hold her own and surpass them easily. Experience cannot be used in this case, for there were some pretty vicious animate training golems stored within her scroll that came at her with the intent to kill. They ranged from Genin levels all the way up to Otsutsuki levels. Even tailed beast leveled dummies often came at her. And not always solo. Nero had expended quite a few healing potions on her during those times. Needless to say, Deva is a real power house. Would Nero be able to conquer this goddess? With his magic? Absolutely in an overwhelming way. His endless mana is op yo! With just his physical strength? As Nero would say, "Oh hell no!" Nero is smart enough not to face someone up close. He understands how squishy he is. His daily workout did ensure that he stronger than the average man. But against super athletes such as Deva? He falls behind sorely. He intends to solve that issue later on. The island had went through some massive growths as well as the local inhabitants. The island is now a perfect carbon copy of Hawaii. With the name being different that is. Nero calls it the Origin Isles. For it is where Avalon truly began. The main islands were called the Chaos Gardens under the guardianship of the Raptor Tribes and the main island. White Tiger Island which is under the guardianship of the white tiger and it''s spawn. Boar Island, Sepent''s Lair, and.... Monkey Island (much to Nero''s annoyance and Deva''s amusement). Deva even named the Ape King, Guybrush Threepwood. Speaking of the apes... They are terrifyingly all martial arts masters and it scares Nero imagining how badly their enemies would be beaten if they ever pissed these monkeys off! Additionally the raptors... Yeah, they are all ninjas now. Somehow they mutated by absorbing Deva''s excess chakra she unleashes when training and now everytime Nero passes through Raptor territory, he can feel the watching from everywhere! Big tribe, small tribe, they watch from above and below. Got help the Jurassic Park employees if their raptors ever learned how to tree and water walk, because goddamn did Deva''s raptors learn. Terror Level: 9000/10 The Chaos Gardens are in good hands. ... Nero takes out the token and flips it into the ai before catching it. "It''s time we establish our own home before we explore the wide wonder." Nero says. "Aw... I really liked our cavernous bungalow." Deva says in mocked disappointment. Nero chuckles, "That will be our private sanctuary. It will have a secret passage leading from our bedroom." "Ohoho! Our own personal love cave, rawr!" Deva growls playfully before asking, "What kind of place do you have in mind? A Hogwarts stylised castle?" Nero shakes his head, "Nah, Hogwarts to small for what I got planned. Let me show you something really grand now that Avalon is big enough." Holding the token up to his forehead, Nero grins as it begins to shine, absorbing the design he desires directly from his imagination. "The Le Fay Family''s new home will be..." Chapter 8. The very earth beneath their feet begins to quake violently as it behins to shift following Nero''s will upon the use of the token. Rising from both the ground and from Mt. Stargate a structure begins to emerge in a of it''s majesty. The process of it''s construction was accurate and detailed at it''s finest. One of the most epic and majestic castles he had ever seen in any form of media. Anor Londo! The final area from Dark Souls which includes Sen''s Fortress acting as the entry into the main structure, the main palace itself, Duke''s Archives, Crystal Cave, and even the Painted World of Ariamis which is a functional sub-dimension in which Nero intends to use as a sort or prison. If no one knows that they can escape by making the leap of faith at the end, then they will never be able to escape. Soon enough the entire massive structure in it''s entire majesty had been complete. Nero and Deva look on in admiration and awe at it''s complete majestic architecture. "Nero?" Deva goes to ask, "did you create for us Anor friggin'' Londo as our own personal castle?" "Yes, I did my queen." Nero replied with a smile, "like it?" "Ohhh!" Deva pouces on Nero, giving him the most passionate and happy kiss to express her joy, "like it? I love it! This queen is more than satisfied with the castle her king has built for them." Nero chuckles before giving Deva a peck on her lips, "I am delighted you like it, love." Looking at the construct from their distant perch Deva asks in curiosity, "Of all of the castles you chose, why Anor Londo anyways?" "Hm..." Nero contemplates his reply before responding, "to be honest Anor Londo was the one castle that stood out to me. I had considered Dracula''s Castle from Castlevania but it was too... Dark and gothic for me, plus the ambient traps and locations below the castle could lead to many accidents." "Then the Hogwarts castle, while big in it''s own right, was too... Generic and small for my interests. Anor Londo is massive and has plenty of space to accommodate our future apprentices, be they shinobi or magician." Deva laughs, "Big is an understatement. The rooms and passages are so high that no one will see my ninja hiding up in the rafters." "My reasoning exactly," Nero said, "we have security in the magically powered mobile armors patrolling the grounds, while our future shadows spy from above." "I like it!" Deva said. ... Nero and Deva start their tour of Anor Londo by first steeping into the only true route into the marvelous castle. And that is through Sen''s Fortress. The stairway that leads into the main entry has 4 armored statues standing on each side of the path, just waiting for Nero to enchant later on into security. Inside they traverse the first floor, walking across the bridge that passes above the semi-flooded basement below. Nero thought to leave it like that intentionally as a place to which only higher ranked ninja could safely traverse with waterwalking. The traps, such as the pendulum blades and the prisoner''s cages were omitted from Nero''s design and made it less medieval gothic and dilapidated and more fresh and clean in his image. Nothing gruesome and horror-like in the game. Exploring the first floor, then the flooded basement, second floor, roof 1, and roof 2. They made sure to explore every single inch of the place from their memories. Every hidden place will have a use. Walking across the bridge where the boss fight against the Iron Golem, which is a giant armored statue Nero intends to enchant later, they take the lift up to the main castle. The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation. "Just how I remember it." Deva said fondly in reminisce. "Indeed." Hand in hand the two soulmates walk through the massive castle that is theirs. Not the decrepit and war sieged and crumbling castle of Dark Souls. Everything looked so new and well maintained. The corridor that leads to the Dark Sun Gwyndolin. The chamber of the giant princess Gwynevere. Even her massive bed/sofa was there and the two spent some time lounging on it in comfort before touring on. They even made it to the boss chamber in which players would fight Ornstein and Smough. Two giant armored statues laying in wait for Nero to charm. There were armories with basic and unremarkable weapons and armor. A vault deep beneath the castle for their most valuable collection. They even roamed into the chapel that housed the painting portal that leads to Ariamis. The two even wandered into that dreary and cold painting world before making it to the end where the plank towers over the whirlpool abyss that seemingly leads to one''s certain doom. "Hey Deva," Nero says her name and grins playfully, "fancy a leap of faith?" "Hey, waiiii-" she screams as he turns and grabs her hand before leaping backwards into the vortex below with a boisterous laugh and a screaming Deva. After vanishing into the vortex the two pop out from the painting and land on their feet. Nero still laughing out loud and Deva still catching her breath. *gasps!* "Don''t... Do that.... Without warning... Jerk!" She scolds him ruefully with a glare that promises retaliation. Deva had already mastered the Uzumaki Pranking Art?. "I would have made the leap willingly when I felt like it!" "Hahaha, sorry love." Nero says with an apologetic smile, "had to do it." "Hmph!" After that little bout of fun the continued with the tour leading to the Duke''s Archive. Surprisingly had tons of books which had originated from both Nero and Deva''s memories. Manga, fanfiction, light novels, full blown books, and even fanfiction. These themselves do not even fill a small portion of this library which means that the two would have to work hard on filling out the empty bookshelves. After leaving the library and roaming the Crystal Cave, the two finally reach the last stop of their tour. The throne room and the royal quarters that is hidden behind the throne. Talk about the royal luxury as everything is marvelous. Gwyn sure new how to live like the king he was. The bed, much to Nero''s forgetful insight, ended up being gigantic enough to fit way more than Nero and Deva. "You should have thought this through Nero," said Deva, "the bed is humongous!" "Yeah..." Walking through the chamber they came to a stop at a door that opened up into a beautiful garden with a lake being fed by a waterfall that flows out through grated waterways. The path to their hidden paradise concealed by the fall. "Beautiful..." said Deva in awe, drawn at the beauty and purity that this garden represents. To them this is a symbol of the beginning of their new life together. Nodding in agreement Nero slips his hand into his pocket and produces two beautiful golden rings with engravings on them. One had a black rose on it to symbolize him as Nero Le Fay. The other a pure white moon that symbolizes Deva as his Moon Goddess. Taking Deva''s left hand he slowly slips the ring on her ring finger and caresses her hand lovingly with a smile, "this ring bears my symbol, the Black Rose. By placing it on this finger I give to you heart and my soul. Do you accept my everything?" Deva''s eyes mist over and she has the brightest and most dazzling smile he had ever seen. "Yes," Deva takes the ring with her symbol on it and slides it onto Nero''s fing finger, " this ring bears my symbol, the Sacred Moon. By placing on this finger I pledge my heart, my body, and my soul. Do you accept everything that I am?" "I do," Nero says before wrapping his arms around Deva''s waist and bringing her to his embrace, "I love you." He leans in to kiss her in which she reciprocates. They share their kiss for 10 minutes before breaking apart to breath. "I guess this makes us official." Said Deva with a slight blush. "Indeed it does my lovely wife." He says in agreement. A smile on his face. The love he regretted never having in his past life he had finally gained in this life thanks to his mother''s blessings. They will happily spend their lives together in eternity and punish the darkness that tried to drive them apart. Nero promises to find and erase the dark seed that piggypacked it''s way into their happy reincarnation. "Now all that we need to do to finish off this romantic wedding-" Deva grabs Nero''s hand and pulls them towards their private cavern paradise hidden behind the falks. Her hips swaying seductively with each step, "- is to officially consummate our union. Or it won''t truly be official." Nero nods his head and gulps with a tinge of red on his cheek. For the last few years since hitting puberty it had been hard for him to resist Deva''s allure. They had both wanted to reach a satisfying milestone in their training and returned to where they (Deva) left off in their past lives. 17 years of age in Deva''s memory''s case. Now that they are married, there will be no holding back and accepting the inevitable. Chapter 9. Avalon slowly grows smaller and smaller as Nero and Deva watches from the back of their small little boat. It''s been 3 days since their vows of matrimony and short little honeymoon. The two of them are happy to set sail and explore the new world they were born in, 17 years of age being the perfect starting point. "There she goes," Nero said, smiling sadly as he watches as Avalon vanishes from sight and they could feel the rippling barrier that separates the Illusory Island from the rest of the world, "our beautiful paradise." Deva nods and squeezes his hand tightly in comfort, "Yeah. The island is bound to you, so all you need to do is apparate or create a portkey." "True." Nero turns around and looks over the small boat they worked together to build. It is nothing to elaborate or fancy, but it is enough to get them to land where they can explore to their heart''s content. Made from wood created by Deva''s Wood Release and carefully carved into shape with magic from Nero. It has only one single cabin that is enough for Nero and Deva to rest at night. A small mast with a sail that has been charmed to move in whatever direction Nero desires with little resistance from the wind or currents. A subtle notice-me-not charm to keep them out of sight of pirates or sea beasts to make their journey much more comfortable. Of course Deva would use this opportunity to further hone her already perfect chakra control by creating random whirlpools as they sail. Throughout the trip they had spotted other ships in the distance and judging by their make, Nero assumed that the world''s age to be somewhere in the middle ages. Definitely not Earth as the ambient magical energy flowing through the atmosphere is great. After a week of sailing did they finally spot land. Considering how cold it had been since they left Avalon''s borders, it made sense why they would be seeing snow in the distance. "I assume we are in the far north," said Deva, "it was never thus cold in Avalon." Nero nods in agreement, "Yeah. Here is to hoping it''s not too dreadfully far from civilization. I want to meet the locals for a change." "I''m sure we will meet some," Deva assures him. The land comes closer and closer until the skid to a stop thanks to the seafloor. Hopping off the boat Nero casually glides across the water before taking his first step on dry land beyong Avalon... Well maybe not too dry. The land is currently covered in ice and there are horkers flopping about... "Oh, look a walrus!" Deva shouts out pointing to a walrus looking animal flopping about on it''s belly with it''s flippers. "Um... I don''t think that is a walrus, Deva." Said Nero with a look of contemplation on his face. He had seen this species somewhere before but cannot for the life of him put hia finger on it.If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it. Deva runs towards it gleefully, "Nonsense! I''mma pet it-" as she passes by a seemingly unimpressive stone it suddenly shifts and like lightning, a set of pincers shoot out and snags her leg causing her to yelp. "IT WAS A TRAP, HELP!" Deva shouts as she hops up and down kicking her leg trying to throw off the offending beast that snagged her leg. "Ouch-ouch-ouch! It won''t let go!" Nero looks carefully at the creature. A crustacean with a rocky greyish/brown coloration with 2 very large pincers on each claw, six legs. "Huh, it''s a mudcrab." Nero comments, "That means we are on Nirn, Elder Scrolls series'' world." "I don''t care what world we are in," Deva roars, "get this damn crab off of me!" With a chuckle Nero calls out Arc and aims it at the little critter trolling his dear wife. *Stupify!* A red bolt fires from the tip of his wand and strikes the mudcrab causing it to seize up and shoot away into unconsciousness as it crashes into the ground a few meters away. Deva kneels down and rubs her calves, sighing in relief now that the little monster is gone. "Little mudcrab bastard can burn in Oblivion..." Deva curses as she glares at the now outcold crab. Nero laughs and teases her, "Aww! Did the big bad crab hurt the super ninja?" "Shut it boy, or no sex for a week!" She threatens him causing him to chuckle and respond. "I don''t think you can last a whole week," said Nero with a smirk causing Deva to sigh in defeat. "Yeah, you right. Let''s go find us an inn so we can relieve ourselves." The two walked along the shores hoping to find a way up the cliffs that surround the wintery beaches. They had finally found a place to walk up 45 minutes later and ascend to the top. "Now that we are finally somewhere, we can look around. All this snow either points to us being in winter or further up north." Nero surmises. Walking further inland Nero and Deva come across a rather well maintained path that can only be a road and gives them hope that following it will lead the two to civilization. With east as the direction they chose to follow, the two walked along the road for 2 days until they spotted signs of civilization. A signpost read the name of the small city as, "Dawnstar." "This confirms that we are in fact in Skyrim," said Nero before observing the city noticing how different it is compared to what had been portrayed in the game, "it''s much bigger than in the game that is for sure. Dozens of more houses and many people roaming the streets." His line of sight follows a number of boats rowing out to sea to fish, "the hardware on consoles and computers definitely cannot emulate a real living world this accurately." "I know!" Deva agrees, "I wonder where we are in the timeline? Depending on where we are, maybe we can troll the storyline!" "Hahaha!" Nero chuckles shaking his head, "You got me. The Dovahkiin will have plenty on his or her plate with the resurgence of Alduin, but there is nothing stopping us from stealing alot of side quests and maybe affecting the civil war." "Yes! He or she does not really need to waste hers or his time with these cruddy side quests!" Said Deva with a glint in her eyes, "we can build up a reputation for ourselves by seeking out and helping these people. And if ole dragon soul needs some practical experience to hone himself up then we can build a better and more OP Dragonborn!" Nero contemplates this for a moment and begins to plot something interesting for him and Deva to do. Suddenly he breaks out into a grin. "Soo... If we are in the right timeline, then we can train the Dovahkiin into a monster." He cackles mischievously, "Oh this will be fun." Of course neither of them will realize that they are in fact in the wrong timeline. Of course it will not change their plans to build up their own reputations that will become known for ages to come. Chapter 10. The waves roar as they crash into the side of the imperial ship they had chartered to take them to the island of Vvardenfell, Morrowind. The center of politics in all of Morrowind and lead by the Tribunal, who were responsible for Azura¡¯s wrath that led to the Chimer race being cursed and becoming the Dunmer everyone is familiar with to this very day. 3rd Era, 427. This is the very era and year that the Elder Scrolls Morrowind takes place. Nero had managed to find out after questioning some merchants while they explored Dawnstar back in Skyrim. Due to each of their unique talents Nero and Deva made good time in traveling from northern Skyrim to Andotrhen and charter a ship to Seyda Neen. Luckily the two made it in time and were able to ferry a ride on an imperial ship transporting prisoners to elsewhere. They made a good name for themselves working as adventurers in the city of Andortrhen and were hired as extra security on the voyage. After discretely questioning the crew and taking a brief glimpse at the prisoners the two were happy to find that this very ship is the one that will drop off the reincarnation of Indoril Nerevar, the soon to be Nerevarine themselves. The only problem is they don¡¯t know which prisoner will be the one. Of all the prisoners on board there are 4 Dunmer, 3 Khajiit, 2 Breton, 1 Argonian, 3 Bosmer, 2 Redguard, 3 Altmer, 5 Imperial, 4 Nords, 1 Orc. 28 prisoners to choose from and nowhere for Nero and Deva to choose from. Nero suspects on of the Dunmer to be the potential Nerevarine and Deva is in agreement, so the two of them would keep watch on them and see if they can identify the one in question. After all the two has plans on helping the Nerevarine fulfill their destiny and recruit them to Avalon once fate no longer has a hand in their futures. So instead of going on a voyage to Akavir like many legends suspect, they will recruit them into their world and join them as they venture beyond the Stargate into other worlds. There is only so much these two can do and see on their own and it would be oh so lonely to do this alone with them two only. So they are adamant in recruiting the Nerevarine and anyone else they find interesting into their world and train them into a force to be reckoned with. ... Nero can be found at the head of the ship sitting with his legs crossed, deep into a session of meditation as he often does when he had some down time and taking a break from magical research or brewing. He is reinforcing his mind with Occlumency so that if he ever encountered beings more powerful than him in the mind arts, he will be able to protect his secrets and protect himself against other influences. Beings such as Daedric Lords are easily able to affect mortal beings, as most of them have never developed a resistance to influences that infect their minds. Stronger and more willful mortals are more difficult to affect, but when a master of the School of Illusions surpasses their willpower, then they can bend their minds to their will. Enraging them, pacifying them, distorting their views rendering the mage invisible. These are all powerful techniques in Nirn that affect the mind. But those are merely scratching the surface of the mind arts. Nero, while they were resting one day on the way to Morrowind, had used the Imperius Curse on a bandit who tried to rob them, and ordered him to turn on his comrades which led to a bloody royale rumble between the bandits. Mind arts are powerful and the Imperius Curse falls under that same category. Hell none of the so called Unforgivable Curses are truly dark and evil, at least that is not what they were originally created for. Imperius was a curse created as a form of covert infiltration and intel gathering, Cruciatus was created for Torture and interrogation without destroying the body. The Killing Curse was created to be a painless and merciful form of execution. Which would be more merciful? Having your soul ripped out and devoured by a dark creature with no chance at entering the reincarnation cycles, having your body ripped to shreds on a molecular level with you being aware the whole time, or a simple instant bolt with no pain? Point being, civilization and politics had led to certain spells and curses being labeled and their original purposes being twisted in the passage of time. Inside Nero¡¯s mindscape a massive library can be found. Multiple floors with endless amount of books. There are shelves full of books for his memories, some for the knowledge he had accumulated throughout both of his life during his years of education, others meant for his research which are protected behind some sturdy barriers. At the center of the library¡¯s first floor is a lounge with numerous tables and sofas. There is also a desk with a computer on it that happens to be Nero¡¯s most elaborate security for his deepest of secrets and access to his subconsciousness. As long as no one can figure out how to access the computer, which is password protected, they will never find his most deepest secret or even affect him subconsciously with certain spells or magical suggestions. Around his mind is large town engulfed in an endless shroud of mist that Nero had taken as inspiration from the Konami game, Silent Hill. The mist confuses and leads intruders astray which can leads to a number of traps and surprises. Some deadly, some headache inducing, all with the purpose of protecting his library. Occasionally Nero will allow some stray thoughts and false memories to drift through the mist to confuse or give the intruder the illusion of cracking Nero¡¯s elaborate mind.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. If they cannot make it to the library in one piece, then they cannot see what he truly has within his head. A perfect mental defense. No daedric Princes, or average wizard from the Wizardry World would every figure it out. Those from the modern magical world would ever consider studying modern muggle technology to figure out how to access his computer. Deva approaches Nero and sits down beside him, resting her head on his shoulder and sighs. Above the seagulls can be seen and heard chirping, searching for an easy meal either from the seas or left from the sailors on the ship below them. Opening his eyes Nero looks at his wife and smiles. Giving her a peck on her cheek, ¡°Still no luck my goddess?¡± ¡°No,¡± Deva shakes her head, ¡°I just cannot tell which one would be our likely target.¡± ¡°Well, don¡¯t stress yourself over it Deva.¡± Said Nero reassuringly, ¡°even if we don¡¯t find out who the Nerevarine is before disembarking. We will when we reach Seyda Neen. It won¡¯t be too late to help them out then.¡± ¡°True. How goes the Occlumency?¡± Deva asks. ¡°Hm, pretty good. I just finished placing a large number of traps, decoys, stray thoughts, and false memories within the mist. I dare say that even the best Legilimens such as Dumbledore, Voldemort, and Snape would have to spend hours to even come close to my real library.¡± Deva nods with a grin, ¡°Wicked! This should protect you from the Daedric Princes. I don¡¯t want the Mad God turning my husband into a madman!¡± ¡°I would be more worried about the Goddess of Betrayal and Dark Plots trying to get us to murder each other.¡± Nero adds. ¡°Her too,¡± agreed Deva, ¡°for me Molag Bal ravaging me and turning me into an abomination like the Vampire Lords would be worse. The only one ravaging me is Nero!¡± ¡°Ok, carrying on...¡± Nero interrupts her, ¡°with my progress in Occlumency and your EMS, our minds should be far more advanced and secure to a majority of the natives of Nirn. But we can never let our guards down even just a little. Powerful we may be, but not quite omnipotent just yet. The knowledge in our heads will make us prime targets to Hermaeus Mora himself. So I would suggest you keep your guard up unless you prefer meeting the tentacles.¡± ¡°I understand love.¡± A voice from the ship¡¯s crows nest can be heard yelling, ¡°Land ho! Seyda Neen is in sight!¡± Nero stands up and stretches his stiffness out and turns to watch the approaching landmass, ¡°Vvardenfell at last!¡± ¡°Ohh! So many sidequests and adventures to be had.¡± Said Deva in utmost excitement, ¡°dungeons to explore, treasures to be found, magics to learn, friends to be made! Sooo exciting!¡± Nero chuckles at his adventurous wife and cannot help but agree with her excitement. This is a world he had explored just once before from beyond a mere computer screen. Now they two of them can explore it in person with real living and breathing people and creatures. This world has truly become a real sandbox for Nero and Deva and has numerous things for them to learn and explore. Their main goal for this trip to Vvardenfell is to help the Nerevarine fulfill their destiny and recruit them, but these things never truly follow a straight line in the end. ... The ship pulls into the docks of Seyda Neen shortly after coming into view. Upon disembarking Nero and Deva stand off to the side and watch as things play out. Surprisingly there are 3 people being dropped off here. A young Dunmer girl whose age isn¡¯t much too different from Nero and Deva, an Nord male of about 25 years of age, and a surprisingly cheery looking Khajiit male. ¡°This is... not what I expected.¡± A perplexed Nero said. Deva just shrugs, ¡°Can¡¯t expect everything to play out how it does in the game now can you? This is reality after all.¡± ¡°I... admit that I did not take reality in consideration. But who can blame me?¡± The guard waiting on the dock escorts the prisoners to the Census and Excise Office. Casting a disillusion charm on himself, Nero quietly sneaks in after them with everyone being non-the-wiser. Inside he watches as the Nord and Khajiit are ferried off towards another reception while the Dark Elf girl is greeted by another. Finding it strange that she is to be greeted separately Nero chose to observe her instead of the others. ¡°Ahh yes, we¡¯ve been expecting you.¡± The old man greeting her says. If Nero recalls correctly his name was Socucius Ergalla. The man continues,¡± You¡¯ll have to be recorded before you¡¯re officially released. There are a few was we can do this, and the choice is yours.¡± Nero listened as the old man, Socucius Ergalla asks the girl many questions about herself, this including her specialization and skills. Surprisingly she has the perfect skill set and training to be a Spellsword. A warrior who wields both spell and blades. A pretty balanced play styles if this were the actual game. Then it comes down to her name... Vuri R¡¯en. Socucius continues to talk about her birthsign next which happens to be under the Mage sign which boosts her natural magic. After asking a few more questions he gives the papers to the Dunmer girl and tells her to pass them to the captain. ¡®This is proceeding much like the game, ¡® said Nero inwardly. He proceeds to follow her through the next room until she comes to meet the captain, Sellus Gravius himself and introduces herself by passing her papers to the man. Taking the paper he thanks Vuri, ¡°Thank you. Word of your arrival only reached me recently. I am Sellus Gravius. But my background is not important. I¡¯m here to welcome you to Morrowind.¡± He looks over the papers and nods. ¡°I am a Knight Errant of the Imperial Legion,¡± said Sellus, ¡°I don¡¯t know why you were released from prison and shipped here. But your authorization comes directly from Emperor Uriel Septim VII himself. And I don¡¯t need to know any more than that. When you leave this office, you are a free woman. But before you leave, I have instructions on your duties. Instructions from the Emperor. So pay careful attention.¡± ¡°The emperor?¡± Vuri asks in confusion. Sellus nods, ¡°Yes. According to my instructions, he personally authorized your release from prison and your delivery here. It¡¯s all very mysterious. But that¡¯s the way the empire works. Silence. Secrecy. Let not the left hand know what the right hand is doing.¡± ¡°I see.¡± She considers his words before asking another question, ¡°what of my duties?¡± Sellus hands Vuri a package. She examines it briefly before storing it away in a bag. ¡°This package came with the news of your arrival. You are to take it to Caius Cosades, in the town of Balmora. Go to the South Wall Cornerclub, and ask for him ¡ª They¡¯ll know where to find him. Serve him as you would serve the emperor himself,¡± said Sellus before handing an envelop to Vuri, ¡°I also have a letter for you, and a disbursal to your name.¡± Nero steps out of the building and meets back up with Deva who is contently watching a Stilt Strider just outside of town. ¡°They are wrapping up.¡± Said Nero, ¡°You were right, it was the Dunmer girl. Her name is Vuri R¡¯en. She will be leaving soon to report to Caius Cosades in Balmora. Wonder how we will get enough for the Stilt Strider?¡± Deva giggles, ¡°of course I was right! Ever one of the older Dunmer looked way too damn old for the task of being the Nerevarine. The sexy, dark-skinned busty dark elf was the obvious choice!¡± She reaches into the sleeves of her outfit and produces a small purse. ¡°I snuck in and stole Fargoth¡¯s ring back and he gave us some money. Plenty enough for a ride.¡± ¡°Not bad,¡± Nero was impressed with her initiative at this point. First side quest done already and a good name to them already. ¡°What info did you get for our gal?¡± Deva asks. ¡°Other than her name, she is only 16 years old. She was born in the capital and her crime ended up being castrating the son of her father¡¯s enemy who tried to force her to marry him.¡± Explained Nero with a cringe, ¡°the man¡¯s father was very very rich and she was imprisoned.¡± Deva shrugs, ¡°probably for the best since she got off easy thanks to the prophecy.¡± ¡°Eh.... not how I would put it but I guess your right there. Just save the world from Dagoth Ur and the Tribunal and call it even.¡± Nero looks around and thinks about it for a minute and smiles, ¡°what do you say we put our adventurer skills to the test once we introduce ourselves to Vuri and build up our reputation?¡± ¡°I say hells-to-the-yeahs!¡±
