It was an era where technologies developed rapidly and became more matured; especially in engineering, molecular and evolutionary science. In this era, science and technologies answered and fulfilled everyone''s needs; especially the needs for a longer lifespan. Everyone yearns for the miracle drug that can extend a person''s lifespan. This issue has been bugging mankind since the memorial of time. In the end, human beings were finally able to succeed in developing medicines that can extend human lives for a few decades, taking a gigantic leap for mankind towards the path of immortality. Even though early and mid-21st-century technologies were advanced and solved most of the problems, they didn''t solve any of the major problems like; limited resources, energy, longevity, materialistic science, environment, and space technologies. Now, humans have transformed into a much more advanced civilization after the end of the war. Since the 4th industrial revolution, technologies had been stuck in a bottleneck for a long period of time and hadn''t been able to make any further improvements or make any major changes. That all changes after the Third world war. The Third world war was one of the most brutal wars in the history of mankind. The nature of the war was totally different from the first and second world wars. In this war, almost all of the war was fought by genetic warriors or super soldiers. Genetic warriors are the people who had enhanced their bodies through special means. These new soldiers or warriors are the most effective weapons in this new era. They have a decent amount of destructive powers given that it has the right equipment and very high mobility which is very useful in performing certain tasks, like assassination or raids in certain locations. With fully build armor, they are walking tanks with high mobility. In this new era, all the missiles are rendered useless. Because humans had already developed mature laser guns and gauss magnetic guns that can destroy any target instantly with 100% accuracy. After the collapse of the missile system, every country and organization on earth started searching for new and effective weapons. The most viable choices for the countries were super-soldiers after the technical breakthrough of science and technologies. Super-soldiers were one of the main fighting forces in the third world war. Even though they were not as destructive as a nuclear missile, they held more advantages in the war. They can be deployed in countries to do covert operations like assassinating major political and military figures creating chaos for the whole country. And if you equipped them properly with the right weapons, they could easily destroy the strategic resources of a country like nuclear base, weapon factories, science laboratory, power supply. and even kidnap major figures including scientists. In a real face to face confrontation, these super-soldiers could even wipe up 3 to 5 platoons easily. Their major advantage comes from their mobility, flexibility, and re-usability. Because of their effectiveness, many countries wantonly started researching and experimenting with human bodies without any bottom line. During the war, technologies progressed rapidly with all the fundings coming from the governments. But, in the end, none of them achieved anything due to the destructive nature of the war. The war brought nothing but destruction; thousands of cities were destroyed, the world economy collapses, and many countries faced major food crises along with social unrest. And In this darkest period of time, when humanity was on the brink of destruction... A mysterious person name Lord Adril came out from nowhere and stopped the war. This wasn''t an easy battle, but he wasn''t alone on this journey. He was accompanied by a lot of people with extraordinary abilities. These people were his loyal followers who had the same ideal as him. And with the help of his trustee subordinates, they brought peace to the world. These people not only stopped the war but also brought major changes to the world. With them, they brought a new style of government called "Union" and "Federation". It was a system where people can freely choose to stay between any organization. And you won''t be tied down to any land, nations, and geographical locations anymore. Now, it''s just a matter of time before they step into the Type 1 civilization. Everyone around the world was happy about the outbreak of the technological era. Because this will determine the fate of their civilization ¨C that is, either stuck on this planet forever or become an advanced civilization that conquers the stars. One of the major scientific breakthroughs was genetics, which everyone was enthusiastic about. This breakthrough was so meaningful to humans that it was marked on the calendar, as "Eos"(Goddes of Dawn). Humans were tiny compared to the size of a planet, and even with all of the natural resources on Earth, building city from a scratch took a lot of time, resources, energy, and money. Not to mention building on a barren planet with no resources. Overpopulating the planet will take hundreds or even thousands of years, not to mention creating an ecosystem fitting for human survival, and with the technological limitations, they don''t even have the technology to transfer enough resources to continuously feed a million people. Unlike Mars, Earth has millions of different species and trillions of micro-organism species helping the eco-system and the environments, it''s was not an easy task to replicate nature, but now they have hope. With the new technologies, they could become a multi-planetary system. After the major changes took place in the world, humans were absorbed in all kinds of new researches and developing new technologies, and after many decades of trials and error, humanity finally succeeds in making a way to improve their genetics and lived longer. After this discovery was made, it brought monumental changes in the world. Everyone was happy including Lord Adril. After seeing a glimpse of hope towards the path of immortality, genetic engineering became popular overnight and became mainstream in society. After heavily funded by large interest groups and governments, scientists wholeheartedly began developing the miracle drug. That pushed the human''s innovation even further, taking a giant leap towards the path of immortality. After many decades of research and development, the hard work finally paid off. Humans were finally able to create the miracle drugs that can extend their lifespan for a few decades, and ultimately achieving immortality in the near future. Technological advancement in other fields of science did not stop either. Space technology was also a rising star after the discovery of new materials and elements, and also the growing markets of space tourism brought in more capital to expand rapidly and colonized other planets. Time fleets away as humans continued to expand and developed towards different parts of the galaxy. In their exploration, they came across many beautiful planets harboring life, but most of these lives were primitive and had only just begun their evolutionary process. Some of these species were extremely dangerous and destructive by nature, but not to a degree where it can threaten human civilization. Most of these highly destructive species were either exterminate or control by limiting their population, and hazardous species were thoroughly destroyed. As an advanced specie and a civilized race, the Union prohibited people from harming any innocent nascent civilizations, or interfered in their natural evolutionary process, allowing nature to take its courses. Without law and order, sympathy and decency, civilizations always crumble, hence the Union prioritized in protecting all non-hostile species. A few centuries have passed since the birth of the Union and the Federations, and at that point in time, humanity had explored 4 % of the Milky Way Galaxy, which was a great achievement if you look at how massive the size of the Galaxy is. ------------------------------ It was the year 2623, humans finally reached the edges of the Milky Way Galaxy. These open clusters and nebula on the edges of the Galaxy were the first ones to separate from the bulge and were much older than the clusters near the center, which gives these places a mystical vibe and a very highly anticipated location for humans. And all these places had very high chances of giving birth to some extraordinary lifeforms. After exploring for many decades, they finally reached the edge of the Galaxy... And oh boy, did nature not disappointed them. They finally found aliens that are likely to be of high intelligence, and these aliens look like giant insects that came right out of the horror movies, their features look a lot similar to the insects from Earth, except, these aliens are more humanoid and menacing-looking than anything they had ever seen. Hence, humans donned the name of these creatures; Entomons. Yet, from that day onward, humanity had to fight for their survival from extinction. The Final War had begun between humans and insects. Chapter 2: Entomon The year 2600... For the last few centuries, humanity had been exploring a countless number of stars, colonizing planets and open clusters, and in these last few centuries, their technologies had already developed to a point where they can harvest the energies of the sun and officially recognized as a type II civilization. It was a prosperous time for humans, everyone was living their lives to the fullest, without having to worry about any problems like aging or sickness. Everything was on the right track, sailing smoothly towards the future, and continued expanding with arrogance as if they had no equals¡­ That is, until today. Somewhere deep in the corner of the Galaxy. A voyaging ship was entering the field of stardust which belongs to a cluster which is on the outermost edge of the Galaxy. When the ship entered the cluster, it stumbled upon many strange creatures. Not only were they extremely powerful, but they were also hostile towards humans. After their encounters with these creatures, only then did they realize they had made a terrible mistake. In the eyes of these creatures, they were nothing more than food. And from that day onwards... Interstellar war broke out between humans and the Entomons, and the predator became the prey. ------------------------------- Planet Earth March 16, Sunday 1:56 AM, Union military-based Texas... It was a peaceful day at the Union Military camp. Some of the soldiers were doing their military exercise, while the others could be seen enjoying their barbecue. Everything seemed to be fine until a loud siren suddenly went off. The speakers blared. "Warning!¡± ¡°Warning!¡± ¡°All personnel¡­ report back to your units immediately.¡± ¡°I repeat! All personnel, report back to your units immediately... and wait for further instructions.¡± ¡°This is not a drill!, I repeat! This is not a drill." Similar things were happening all around the world, sirens were going off in every military base on Earth. Soldiers were scrambling to their post, and many battleships could be seen landing on the airfield. "Lucas!¡± ¡°Lucas!" "Over here!!" David waved his hand and shouted. "David!!¡± Lucas makes his way towards David as he pushes through the crowd. ¡°What the hell is going on!! Why are they summoning all of us? And what''s up with the emergency siren?" He took a deep breath and bombarded him with many questions. "I don''t know either.¡± David shook his head and replied. He observed his surroundings to understand the situation, but all he saw were soldiers rushing to their posts. ¡°Let''s go to the briefing room and find out." Both of them followed the sea of soldiers and headed to the command center "I have a bad feeling about this. I hope everything is alright." Lucas said, feeling a little restless. "I hope so... Now let''s move faster, we are getting late!" David dragged Lucas by the shoulder and ran towards the restricted zone. After passing through a few security checks, they arrived in front of a large dome. It was a gigantic dome connected with magnetic railways and two large airfields platforms sticking out from the side. They saw many people arriving in a similar manner and a few battleships descending on the platforms. When they saw the symbols on the battleships, they knew some high ranking officers were coming to their camp. ¡°Some officials from the central towers are coming. Let¡¯s go!¡± David said and both of them hurriedly went inside the dome and took the elevator to the underground base. After a few seconds, both of them arrived at the briefing room. The briefing room was a large hall that could accommodate thousands of people. When they entered the hall, they saw many of their colleagues had already taken their seats in the front row. In the middle of the hall, they saw Sergeant Major Jordan sitting with another person who seemed like a high-ranking officer. After finding an empty seat, both of them sat down and soon, the briefing started. "Many of you, must be wondering why we are here?¡± Jordan looked around and continued. ¡°I''m clueless as each one of you.¡± He then introduced the person sitting next to him. ¡°This person here is Second Lieutenant Nicholas Dan! Our future commanding officer... And he is here to explain the reason what''s all this about. I hope you all give him proper respect.¡± ¡°Are we clear soldiers!!" Shouted Jordan. "YES SIR!!" The officers stood up and gave a salute. ¡°At ease...¡± Nicholas Dan stood up and waved his hand, indicating everyone to sit down. ¡°As Sergeant Major Jordan has introduced me, I''m Second Lieutenant Nicholas Dan, your future commanding officer. "No, let''s get to the reason why we summon all of you, right now, humanity is facing an unprecedented crisis. Before I go into details, I would like to show you something first." A ray of light was shot out from D2 Spider pet (Ai pet in the shape of a spider) and produced a large 3D hologram in the middle of the hall. "Isn''t that the new military standard AI pet?" Lucas whispered to David. "Shhhh..." David shushed Lucas to keep quiet. D2 Spider pet was a new military AI pet, known for its combat effectiveness. They were highly equipped with sophisticated technologies and weapons for tactical purposes. Even though it was a low-tier AI pet compared to the AI pets owned by the high ranking officers, they were the perfect companion for low-level officers like Lucas and David.If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Nicholas Dan tap on a small hologram screen on his wrist and played the video. The hologram started changing its scenario. ¡°The scene is recorded from one of our recon satellites before it was destroyed.¡± He explained. The video started playing slowly... It showed one of the voyage ships travelling to the edges of a galaxy. It crosses many lonely stars, passing through many fields of cosmic dust and enters into a dark region. After crossing the dark region, it stopped near the edges of the cluster just for precaution. In the past, they made a big mistake of barging in, into a small cluster and to their surprise, they encountered a hostile race with destructive nature. They won the war, but it also taught them a lesson, not to be overconfident and act blindly just because they can travel and survive into space. Some species can survive in space, and that''s a fact. Even the infamous "water bear" can survive in space, not to mention a superspecies with weird abilities. The Universe is full of mystery and produces many wonderful things. The existence of humans itself is a miracle. The voyage ship started sending out a few recon satellites into the cluster to collect information. The recon satellites were similar to an octopus, it travels alone deep into space collecting all kinds of information, and transmitting it back to the voyage ship. The recon satellite noiselessly enters the cluster and starts gathering information. The stars were much more sparse than the clusters near the bulge. "Beep, Beep..." ¡°A large amount of Carbon 14 detected in C1-R7824 star.¡± ¡°Calculating distance: 6 light-years.¡± ¡°99.9% chance of life on the solar system.¡± The recon satellite quietly enters deeper into the cluster and scans its surroundings. As it got closer to the C1-RS7824 star, the radar suddenly went off and beep continuously. ¡°Beep, Beep, Beep.¡± ¡°A large number of life signals and activities detected on C1-RS7824 star.¡± An automated voice informs the voyage ship. The recon satellite followed the signals and started zooming in on the solar system. The soldiers started seeing things as the recon satellite zoom in the video. They were horrified at what they saw. ¡°Good Lord!!¡± Everyone exclaimed. The recon satellite went deeper and recorded everything in its sight, at the end of the video, they couldn''t sit anymore, all of them were petrified. Suddenly the video snapped and shut off as if something had eaten the satellite. "My God!!" "What was that?" "Is this for real?" ¡°Is my eyes playing tricks on me!!.¡± Voices started to burst out among the soldiers. They couldn¡¯t believe what they just saw. Never in their wildest dreams thought something like that could exist. All of them were perplexed except for Nicholas Dan "SILENCE!!" Sergeant Major Jordan shouted as he slammed the table. ¡°.....¡± Everyone came back to their senses and quickly sat down quietly. Jordan looked at everyone with stern eyes, even though he was appalled by what he just saw... he was still an experienced soldier. So, he quickly calmed down and regained his composure. Nicholas rewinds the video and pauses at the sight of the creature. "I know everyone has a lot of questions, Everyone is wondering what this thing is, right...?" Facing himself at the atrocious appearance of a life-like creature who was floating in the middle of the hall, he glared at the face of the creature and continued. "What you are looking at right now is a Class 10 monster, named: Leviathan...¡± He enlarges the creature exposing its hideous look for better visuals. ¡°And there is not just one of this ugly freak of nature, there''s a whole... bunch of them.¡± ¡°Gulp!¡± The soldiers took big gulps when they heard there was more. ¡®One is already enough to make us pee our pants now he is telling there are more of them out there, how does that even make sense?¡¯ That was on all of the soldier''s minds. They had never seen a creature that big, It was as big as a mountain, almost similar to the size of a mothership which can house millions of soldiers. Some of the soldiers were even shivering just the thought of its existence. Nicholas calmly waits for the soldiers to calm down. Looking at everyone calm down, he continued. ¡°Up till now, we are only able to detect 3 of them. The biggest one we spotted was estimated to be around 2.5 miles in height and 4.2 in length, there is also a possibility that there might be even bigger Leviathans somewhere deep inside the cluster, but we will never know for now." He turned around and examined the faces of the soldiers, all of the soldiers had already regained their composure, after realizing the seriousness of this matter. ¡®They seemed to have grip control of their emotions.¡¯ He thought. "Good!¡± Nicholas was impressed with the standard of these soldiers. He nodded his head and continued explaining. ¡°There are many different types of these bugs, some are as big as the Mothership, some as small as your pet hamsters.¡± A hologram of a thin long leg 15 meters tall Entomons with sharp jaws pops up in the middle of the hall. ¡°Some of these motherfvckers are fast. Like this creature¡­!¡± Nicholas pointed at the Entomon with a loathing expression. He seems to have some kind of animosity or hatred against this Entomon specie. ¡°Some are huge but very slow whilst some are small and very fast, some can fly at the speed of ¡®high hypersonic¡¯ whilst some can spit fire and hot acids that can melt the steel.¡± With a slide, many Entomons with different abilities were shown on the hologram. He continued. ¡°We finally concluded that these creatures have a lot of similarities with the insects from our Earth, and so, we decided to dub their name as ¡®Entomons¡¯. "That''s Ancient Greek, meaning insects. We called them insects, but believe me we are the real insects in front of them." He sighed, slouching his back feeling a little tired. "We will be sending all the information into your virtual file... and let me give you a reminder,¡± Nicholas said with a stern voice. ¡°You better remember every single piece of information. As not only your own life but the existence of humanity depends on it. This is a fight against extinction.¡± ¡°Do you understand...!" Shouted Nicholas Dan. "Yes, we understand. SIR!!!" The soldiers stood up and gave a salute. They were full of energy and determination. "Are there any questions?" Nicholas Dan asked as he looked around. One of the soldiers hesitates. "Umm... excuse me, sir...! Are there any intelligent insec... I mean Entomons out there?" "Good question soldier. What is your name?" Nicholas was impressed. "My name is Lucas Gonzale... Serving as a Corporal in Unit 1284, 136th Battalion. Sir!" Lucas stood up and gave a salute. "Sit down soldier,¡± Nicholas waved his hand to sit down. ¡°Then, to your question. With all of the information, we have gathered so far... We think there is a high possibility of intelligence bugs out there, but these are just speculation. So far everything is unknown. "But according to their behavior, and the encounter we had, we believe there are intelligence bugs out there. And this is not the worst part, the worst part of all is that they can survive in space. That giant Leviathan you just saw can travel in space and act as a medium for transportation." Nicholas Dan explained. Everyone almost collapsed when they heard those terrifying creatures can survive and travel in space. Even Sergeant Major Jordan had a tough time maintaining his composure, he looks like blood has been drained from his body. ¡®Is this some kind of a joke?¡¯ Is God playing a prank on me?¡¯ That was on everyone¡¯s mind. All of the soldiers had pale faces, they still couldn''t believe all of this was happening. "How is this even possible?" "What the hell is going on?" Everyone was full of doubts, they were at the limits of their mental capabilities. The whole thing was like a nightmare, they even began to wonder if the higher-ups were pulling a prank on them, their imaginations were getting wild. Earth has been riding the peaceful wave for a long time, they were uncontested in terms of their strength. They have never faced a situation where their civilization is at risk. So people find it hard to believe and accept this sudden threat which could wipe out their existence. Nicholas Dan sighed and shook his head with pity. He and his colleagues had portrayed the same despair when they first saw the creature. "ATTENTION!!" Jordan shouted, gaining everyone''s attention. "I know everyone is scared and worried, but now is not the time to be afraid. All of the things you have heard and seen in this room are all classified materials... ¡° He looked sternly at the soldiers and continued. ¡±So don''t go around spreading it to the public or you will face one of the harshest military punishments. We don''t want to create mass panic. ¡°Are we clear!!¡± Jordan shouted and gave them a severe warning. When the soldiers heard the punishment, It gave them a chill to their spine. ¡°Yes, we are clear. SIR!!¡± They all stood up and gave a salute. ¡°Now, to the procedure... "Most of you will be sent out of the Sol Cluster and assigned in IC2 outposts for combat. Some of you will be stationed here for backups, you have 1 day to meet your family and loved ones, report back tomorrow at the camp at 22.00." "Now Disperse!" The meeting was finally concluded. ------------------------------------------------ Ai Pet: Ai Pets are the new companions for the humans. Chapter 3: Lord Adril Ryde 3 Months have passed since the humans have encountered the Entomons... A full-scale war had already blown out on Island 2 Cluster, millions of soldiers were shipped to the frontline and suffered thousands of casualties whilst killing millions of low-class Entomons. The situation on Earth was slowly deteriorating, information about the Entomons was leaking out to the public causing chaos and panic. The officials had no choice but to take extreme measures and suppress the news to stabilize the situation, but nobody knows how long they can keep the news buried. Rumors sprung around in many parts of the world that some humans came into contact with bizarre insects which can control people. The government has been investigating these weird phenomenons and they found many clues regarding these bizarre cases. They believe that these people have been infected by parasitic insects with physic abilities and a few reports show that these infected people are lurk in the dark and spy on the governments. A few of them have been caught by the military and after physically examining their bodies, the scientists were astounded at their findings, all of the infected people have a strange marking on their necks at the upper cervical spine, it was a small circular dot and a big dot in the middle, which is directly connected to the spinal cord, and most of these people are big wig who has a high social standing in the society, the doctors name these people who have been marked by the insect as Notata (Marked in Latin). These Notata form large organizations, cults, and new religions, worshipping the Entomon as God. "The end is coming!" "Worship the mighty Entomon''s and salvation awaits you!" The Notata took their religion into the streets and discreetly starts spreading their faith to criminals and lower rung of the society. They walk to the dark corner of the streets performing rituals, spreading lies, misinformation and scaremongering people, wherever the Notatas goes, chaos, and disaster followed them. As the Notatas grew in number, the crime rate rises exponentially. The Notatas took advantage of the situation and recruited a lot of people, most of these people are easy to control emotionally and mentally weak people. People began to notice the increasing number of crimes and missing people, the people in the cities were getting restless, more and more criminals were pouring into the cities putting the city officials on high alerts. The atmosphere in the rural areas was bleak, people living in these sparsely populated areas are the most affected one. People living in these villages are now afraid to travel at night. Now, almost all of them are migrating to the big cities for safety. Criminals and gangs flourished in this chaotic situation, organize crimes were taking place in every part of the world. Human trafficking and kidnapping were increasingly getting high, these criminals lurked in the dark and prey upon the weak and innocents. Humans are the easiest targets for these gangs and criminals, and right now, they are the highest valuable commodities in the black markets with great demands. Some hidden organizations are paying high amounts of money for a living human. One thing you can never eradicate from human nature is their greed. Mountains of reports were piling up on the database of the police stations. Most of the cases were about a missing person, human trafficking and murders, some of the cases were bizarre, like human sacrifices. At this time of war, the police officers were having a hard time maintaining public orders and dealing with organized crimes. They all had an eye bag for working overtime, these past couple of days, they have been trying to solve the problem with sleepless nights. Angry families who have lost their loved ones are out on the street protesting in front of the city council. Their demands were simple, they want answers for the missing people and rumors about the Entomon''s. The high ranking officials were in distress over the situation, they were pulling their hairs trying to come up with a solution, but the situations have gone far out beyond their control. The police have been investigating the crimes and got some leads, but the leads were cut off in the middle of the investigation and led to a wild goose chase. These criminals were more advanced then they expected, they used a lot of sophisticated technologies to erase their tracks which led the officers to believe that these criminals were tied to some powerful people and organizations. The officials were frustrated, none of their investigations had been successful, the problems weren''t as simple as they thought. These Notata have big backgrounds and used high tech equipment which was only issued only to the military. They have been trying their best to come up with a solution, but they lack both human and material resources due to the ongoing war. "We cannot just sit here and do nothing, the situation will only worsen if we don''t get help and fast. This is not within our capabilities anymore..." One of the officials voices out his concern. "Jonathan! You should make a decision... We can''t delay anymore." He looked at Jonathan for an answer. Jonathan Smith was the head of the whole police organization. "Bang." Jonathan banged his fist on the table, veins were popping out from his forehead. "Inform the higher-ups." He shouted in frustration. One could tell he was almost about to explode from anger. He helplessly sighed and slouched back in his chair, he was truly exhausted. Everybody in the room was tired, they have not been able to sleep for the past couple of days, even so, he did not want to bother the higher-ups because of the ongoing war, but now he was out of option. He stood up and walked towards the balcony... the glass door slide open and fresh air gush inside the room soothing the heavy atmosphere. He looked at the surroundings and saw many beautiful buildings incorporated with nature, it was a beautiful and refreshing sight. He looked at the little kids giggling and playing tags with their cute little Ai pets, their laughter and smiles could brighten anyone''s day. All of the current development and progress had been achieved under the guidance of Lord Adril. The Visionary, as he was called. However, at this moment, his back was sunken, heavy under the worries concerning the discovery of new intelligent alien life. "Let''s go!" He floats and went to the vehicles. The number of Entomons they saw on the reports worried everyone. They received a report this morning, and the data suggested that they are far more intelligent than what they had imagined. One report had confirmed the rumors of some Entomon''s having psychic abilities. It is believed that the Notata''s had been influenced by the psychic Entomons. The current situation of the war was not looking good for the Humans, they are being pushed back further into the Island 1 Cluster. The Entomons had become more organized with their attacks, which cause major damage on the human side. They had captured lots of humans as a prisoner and treat them like the tasty food. "I can only hope for miracles." The attendant, Nolan, sighed as he floats and followed Adril. He knew this was a hopeless war. They got into military-grade armored flying vehicles___light particles started to condensed below the car, which rose up high above the ground and flew across the mountains and vanished into the clouds. ------------------------------------------------ Washington, Odessa. Central Tower¡­ One gigantic building, towering above the clouds, connecting to the outer space. It was the most magnificent structure that humanity ever created. When you climb 4 miles into the structure, you will feel like you are in heaven. The structure looks like it was right out of the fantasy. The whole structure was 300 miles tall, it has 6 ovular rings as a foundation forming a circle and a plate sits above the rings. Each ring then extended a beautiful curve arm which supports another smaller plate. The plate then supports another 5 smaller ovular rings and continuing the previous making curve arms into spiral structures which gets smaller as the structure grows and eventually stops at plate 6. The whole structure was designed for the wind to pass through without any resistance and pressures. With a wide base and strong materials, it was a perfect design and a beautiful structure. Each plate has gigantic holes in the middle where the gravity elevator passes through and connects all of the plates and the cities in outer space which is 22.4k miles away from Earth. The plates have gigantic transparent domes in the rear which houses small hills, lakes, and rivers and all of the domes are connected by a large transparent tube that can house small cities and towns, and a river runs through the tube giving life to the cities. The whole tower was a self-sustaining structure. The outside view from the dome was spectacular; seas of white clouds, green forest, blue oceans, and tiny cities. It made you feel like a god sitting above the clouds and watching over everything, it was a whole different world view. The cities were lively as gravity elevators constantly lit up and people were constantly flowing in and out of the cities. The gravity elevator of the building was comprised of three sections. The gigantic tube in the center was used for freight transportation, whilst the medium and the small tubes surrounding the gigantic tube were at the disposal of the owners. they could be used for cargo, tourist or travel, all had to be contracted by the Union. The tube was made up of Nanian, a material that was 5 times stronger than pure graphene. It could only be found on planet Nanian in PE5 Cluster in one of the primitive planets. PE5 Cluster was one of the most important clusters for humanity, It produced some of the rarest and most important materials used by humanity. These materials were also used in some of the most advanced technologies and weapons. The Union preserved the planet and farmed only a minimal amount of resources without harming the planet''s environment. The glass was structured into a honeycomb design which made the glass, even more, stronger and durable. The elevator tube has magnetic rings attached to the structure which is divided into segments according to their sizes. The elevator pots have magnetic plates attached to the top and bottom surface which sync together with magnetic rings and helps the elevator travel at lightning speed. The inside of the elevator was pressurized at 1 G, a normal G-force of Earth''s gravity (Gravity force) so it doesn''t have any influence from the outside world. This technology transforms society into a whole new different level, it made easier for people to travel to different places. The head of the security staff gave a deep bow as he greeted Lord Adril. "All of the High Council Members have arrived, and they are waiting for you inside the chamber." "Lord!" He informed Lord Adril and guides him to the chamber. The chamber door opens widely as Adril entered the hall, everybody stood up from their chairs and bowed to Lord Adril as soon as he entered the hall. He gave a nod and walk up to his seat, and sat down. "Everyone please sit down!!" He looked at everyone and continued. "I presume, all of you have received the Intel sent out from C1 cluster (Cygnus 1 Cluster), Mothership Nebula 2SA 447? Each and every one of you understands how dire the situation is." "Now, let''s hear some of your ideas," Adril said and officially starts the meeting. "Field Marshal Brayden, Marshal of the Air Force. Colton, and Admiral of the Fleet, Jayden!" Lord Emilia calls out. "Yes, Lord Emilia!!" The three of them answered in unison. "The three of you are leaders of the whole military. Tell us, what are your thoughts on the enemy, and do you have any suggestions?" She asked looking at the three big men sitting in the front row of the military section. These three men were the highest in commands of the military. "May I direct everyone''s attention towards me?" Brayden said as he stood up and walked to the center of the hall, a 3D image of Entomon in a hologram pop up and shown it to everyone. "This is Class 1 Entomons. They have thick and strong layers of shells which is 4 - 5 times tougher than steel, but with our advanced weapons and equipment, any of our standard soldiers should be able to kill these Entomons easily, given that he or she has the right equipment." With a gesture, he constantly slides the virtual screen showing different types of Entomons while giving a detailed explanation. After a few minutes of into the briefing, alarge and fierce-looking Entomons started appearing onto the display. Brayden enlarge the fierce-looking Entomons and starts explaining. "These are class 2 Entomons. Sadly___ starting from Class 2 and above Entomons, they are very hard to kill. They have thicker shells and skins, which is hard to penetrate with our conventional weapons. It takes more than 400 bullets from a 500D3-Megaguns to stop a Class 2 Entomons and a 100C3-Gigaguns to take down the Class 3, 250B3-Gigaguns to take down Class 4 and 1B4-Teraguns for Class 5 Entomons, and right now our highest class of weapons are Teraguns, let''s not even mention how strong the higher class of Entomons would be. The lucky thing is that, so far we haven''t encounter higher classes of Entomons and we haven''t confronted the Leviathan so we don''t know the exact details of their combat capabilities." "The only option we have is to migrate someplace safe and far away from the Entomons as much as possible.¡± Brayden pointed to the west side of the Sagittarius arm, giving them a little hope, but before they could rejoice, Brayden continued. ¡°But that will expose us from all sides and weaken our ability to defend, which is more risky and dangerous, and with some of the insider information we have,¡± he looked at the Lords and Elders with serious eyes. ¡°No matter how far we escape, the Entomons will always know our location.¡± Everybody was startled. "How is that possible! How can they know our location?" One of the Elder shouted. He was in total panic. Not just him, all of the Lords and Elders were in despair. "Because... we have spies amongst our rank." Admiral Jayden butt in the conversation. "WHAAAT...?" Everyone was stun. They had an unbelievable expression on their faces, never in their life thought that there would be spies amongst them. All of them look at each other with full of doubts and worried expression. Even with all the commotion, Admiral Jayden calmly explained the situation. "We call these people Notata and Blue Bloods. We believe there are Entomons with psychic abilities. Our evidence suggested that Blue Bloods are likely to be the ones behind the scenes and controlling all of these events. We believed that they have lived on Earth since ancient times and they are part of the Entomons, I don¡¯t know how they got here but one thing is certain... That is, they are on the side of the Entomons.¡± A vengeful look appeared on his face. ¡°They have reared small insects which can release toxins with hallucination or psychedelic effects. Every Notata is bitten by these insects to their spinal neck, the insects than release toxins to their brains with psychedelic effects and control their mind and thoughts, more like a conversion or brainwash. We have seen this specific insect spreading across the world. Right now they have only spread to a low populated area like towns and villages, but if we delayed any longer, the situation will only get worse.¡± Jayden explained while keeping an eye on everyone. The three of them replied "Nolan! Come in!" Adril shouted. ¡°Now let¡¯s weed out the rats.¡± Adril snorted and sat back in his chair. He looked at everyone with stern eyes. What he can¡¯t tolerate was traitor. Everyone was scared silly and starting to get nervous. They never expected Adril to make this abrupt decision. Nolan arrived with a few medical staff and 100 Elite soldiers. These Elite soldiers were huge and look different, they stand around 3.1 to 3.3 meters tall, they walk in with their whole body covered with black and gold color advanced bio suits holding high energy guns and blasters. Black and Gold color represents the highest standards in the military, It means they are one of the best soldiers in their field. "Lord Adril!¡± Nolan gave a deep bow and paid his respect to everyone. When the Lords and Elders saw the elite soldiers coming in, they were intimidated and begin to panic. "Lord Adril!¡± ¡°What''s going on? We haven¡¯t been informed about any of this." Some of the Lord and Elder clamored and start causing a scene in the chamber. They couldn¡¯t hide their nervousness looking at the Grade 3 elite soldiers, they look at their neighboring Lord and Elder for support, but none of them stood up and help them. Everyone is a smart person. They knew what was going on and this was not the right time to do anything stupid, they don¡¯t want to risk their necks for a friendship. Just now they were discussing about traitors, and now they are surrounded by the elite soldiers. It was obvious that Lord Adril was weeding out spies, and there is no room for any discussion. Even a fool can recognize the severity of the situation. "I know this is sudden and everyone is worried.¡± Lord Adril spoke out. ¡°Everyone will be given a fair trial and we will thoroughly investigate before giving out any punishment. So until the investigation is done, I hope everyone to be co-operative.¡± Adril said resolutely. There was no room for any discussion. ¡°This is for the sake of humanity. The medical test will now be mandatory for everyone. We will soon find out if we have rats in this chamber or not.¡± ¡°Nolan!! PROCEED!!" Adril shouted as he flicks his sleeve and sat down ignoring the pitiful eyes of some of the Lords and Elders. "Yes, Lord!" Nolan gave a bow and calmly proceed with the medical test. He started calling out the names of the Council members one at a time. Nobody could question the authority and influence held by Lord Adril Ryde. Everyone knew he was doing good for Humanity. When humanity became a multi-planetary system, they are not bound to any country or nationality anymore. Everyone was free to travel without any boundaries and they can join any federations. He is the stabilizer on everything including corruption. He is given the power to strip corrupt politicians as long as any evidence is presented. Lord Adril is elected by the people permanently as the head of the Union with a few sets of rules, which is never to betray and do anything that will harm humanity and always uphold the rule of law. Lord Adril has been staying in power for more than 5 centuries, his current position is unshakable. He has the full support of the people and everybody has blind faith in him. Currently, all of the power is in the hands of Lord Adril and the Military. The lords and Elders still had their power and privileges, except for a few changes in their voting rights and decision making. The Lords and Elders could attempt to overthrow Lord Adril if they had sufficient evidence and accuse Lord Adril of colluding with the enemies, which is an impossible task because everybody knows Lord Adril¡¯s true character, he has been transparent about everything and doesn¡¯t leave behind anything that can be used against him by the enemies. He is a very good and kind person, but not stupid. The people in the futures are well informed on everything, they won¡¯t believe anything thrown at them by the politicians. The military won¡¯t accept it and even the members of the Union won¡¯t accept it either. Nobody is stupid enough to go against the will of the people or destroy the fabric of the society, which would make them sinners of humanity, which is worse than death. Everyone knew that he, Lord Adril had the best intentions for mankind, and nobody was qualified enough to replace him of such a huge responsibility. ------------------------------------------------ The medical staff guides the council members into a room supervised by Nolan, a robotic machine pricks their fingers and start scanning their blood. After nothing was found, it sprayed the fingers with liquid proteins and heals within a second without leaving any scar. The medical bots than starts scanning their body, the layout of the person¡¯s body came out in a 3D hologram, after scanning a few more times the medical bots reported the findings to Nolan. The elite soldiers were on standby keeping their eyes vigilant, they were looking out for any signs of trouble. The test was halfway done. When everything was going smoothly, suddenly there was a loud explosion. ¡°BOOM!!¡± The ground shook and a huge pillar of smoke arise from a far distance town. The explosion attracted everyone¡¯s attention. ¡°What was that?¡± ¡°I think that was the sound of an explosion!¡± Everyone in the chamber has doubts. ¡°Does anyone know what the hell is going on! We have sighted 16 Grade D1 Energy Blasters and 5 D2 Sniper Rifles in their possession, these are military-grade weapons which is extremely lethal. Other than that, most of them have grade E conventional weapons such as E5 laser weapons and E3 machine guns, Sir..." Cooper reported with extreme details. "Good job Colonel Cooper!! He continued and tried to persuade everyone. ¡°As you have heard from our great commanders. We stand zero chance against the Entomons. So the best viable option for everyone is to accept the Entomons. We don¡¯t have any other choice but to surrender.¡± Dominic looked at everyone sincerely with hopeful eyes. ¡°You sound like you are trying to convince yourself. Tell me. What did they offer you in return for selling out humanity?¡± Lord Adril looks deeply at ELder Dominic¡¯s eyes. He wanted to know the reason. "It''s simple... I want to live! You and I both know very well that there is no chance of winning or escaping against the Entomons. They have promised to give me godlike powers and take me in as one of their kinds." Dominic said with a frantic voice as if he had totally lost it. ¡°Did you actually believe in their lies? If you haven¡¯t realized, we are just food for the Entomons." Adril was fuming with anger. "I know! We just have to sacrifice 95% of our population. The Entomons are willing to let us live and re-populate the Earth again." Elder Dominic said with a righteous tone. ¡°BAM!!¡± Lord Adril slammed his hand hard on the table. "Are you out of your mind!!¡± Shouted Lord Adril. ¡°To sacrifice billions of people just so a few greedy and selfish people like you could live? We rather go extinct than become livestock for those disgusting bugs." Lord Adril veins pop out with madness. He had never been this angry. ¡®I would never let the future generation become some livestock.¡¯ He thought. "Arrest this traitor!!¡± Lord Adril shouted. he had enough of his nonsense. Field Marshal Brayden was the first one to act, in a flash, he was in front of Elder Dominic and punched right into his face, knocking him out cold in an instance. ¡°Freeze him before some bugs triggers and kills him," shouted Marshal Brayden, the soldiers rush in and zaps Elder Dominic¡¯s body with their static gun. It is a weapon that blocks all of your senses and nerves from your neural networks. ¡°That was satisfying.¡± Brayden smirks as he crackles his fist and body. He had long wanted to punch Elder Dominic when he comes out as a traitor. "Take him to the lab and extract all of his memory.¡± ¡°And Nolan! Continue with the medical test." Adril gave out orders. He sat back in his chair feeling tired. ¡°Yes, Lord!¡± Nolan indicates his medical staff to proceed. They found another 3 more Notata; 1 Lord and 2 Elders. They tried to plead for mercy, but they were frozen before they could finish their sentences. The test was finally over. Everyone sigh a relief as if a heavyweight has been lifted off their shoulders. "Everyone!!¡± Lord Adril stood up and call out. ¡°Takedown these orders; Hunt down all of the Notata and Blue Bloods. Organize a wide range of medical tests. Make the medical test mandatory for everyone. Don¡¯t skip a single person whether they are in the cities of far in the outback. Anyone who denies or disagrees, arrest them and put them into custody for trails. And for the resources, invest them into farmings, weapons, and ammunition. Summon all the Scientists to the Central Tower along with their families. Give them access to everything, including all of the confidential files. With this, today¡¯s meeting is over.¡± ¡°Everyone is Dismissed!!" Adril dismissed everyone and walk out of the chamber. Finally, the High Council meeting was over. Everyone stiffly walked out of the building and got into their respective flying vehicles, hundreds of flying vehicle flew off in different directions and vanish into the clouds. Chapter 5: Block all Exits When everybody left, Nolan invited Brayden, Colton, and Jayden to a private meeting. "Commanders!!¡± ¡°Please... come in.¡± Nolan opens the door and invites them in. ¡°The Lord is waiting for the three of you inside." He leads them to a private hall with Black and Gold soldiers guarding the entrance. The first thing they saw when they entered the room was the amazing scenery. It was a wonderful garden with lots of exquisite plants, the whole floor was covered with green grasses, exotic plants, flowers and a little pond in the middle. ¡°Please! This way...¡± Nolan guides them to Lord Adril. Lord Adril was sitting alone in a chair holding a teacup. "Come and sit, commanders!¡± ¡°Two herbal and one lemon tea, I guess?" Adril said as he starts pouring hot water into a cup. "HAHAHA... Thank you Lord Adril!¡± Brayden laugh loudly and sat down on the chair. ¡°I don¡¯t know what magic you put into our drinks, but we are already addicted... Our throats have been craving for your tea all the time. Especially Jayden...! He always nags about your tea." He nudges Jayden with his elbow and wink at him. Jayden faces turn red looking at this shameless friend of his. "So, what''s the real situation?" Adril asked as he put some lemon jess and herbs into the tea. He pushes the cups to them and waits for their replies. The three of them pick up their cups and savor the flavors of the tea. "The situation is much worse than we thought. It''s only been 3 months since we started the war, but the casualties have reached more than 50 million, counting both humans and meta-humans. We have lost many of our great combat soldiers and battle pilots in this war." Colton answered while sipping the tea. Colton continued. "The size of the swarms are getting bigger and bigger, and we have spotted more Leviathans. After analyzing all of our data, we made a few models and predictions. If our prediction is right, then the swarm within our sights are just scavengers. That means there is a whole bunch of colonies within that cluster, and we don¡¯t know how big the size of the colony is. What we know is not enough, there might be even more colonies in the surrounding clusters. Lord Adril had a serious face after listening to Colton. He went into deep thought contemplating over the who situation. He still couldn¡¯t come up with anything even after analyzing the situation for half an hour. Nobody has any new ideas. Colton continued. ¡°These Entomons seems to be commanded by someone of something. From the first look, their attacks seem to be wild and chaotic, but after going through their attack patterns, it was well organized and used some kind of tactics. The most astonishing part of all is that we have detected another swarm of Entomons in PW7 Cluster.¡± Colton took a few sips and explain. "Is there really no way of escaping from this predicament?" Adril knitted his brows. "I wish there is one¡­ But we are out of ideas.¡± Colton shook his head, ¡±We have run through many simulations and tested many ideas, but all of them came out as failures, and we just received some new information after the meeting. Our recon satellites have detected another swarm of Entomons in PE 6 Cluster, and they are closing in on us slowly." Colton put the empty cup on the table and laid back to his chair feeling exhausted. Lord Adril suddenly stood up with a solemn expression. He seems to have been struck by lightning. "Huuuu¡­¡± He breathes out slowly. ¡°So, they are cutting all of the paths of our retreats." Lord Adril murmured as he stood their blankly, he seems to have realized the seriousness of this issue. They had underestimated the intelligence of the Entomons. In the face of extinction, and when you are powerless to do anything against the outcome, everyone¡¯s minds would crumble. "Yes!" "So, our control over particles and electrons are so advanced that after a few decades, teleporting a human being to different places is within the realm of possibilities. You cannot just send a beam of particles to a place and expect for you to materialize without any support. You will always need a third-party device to materialize for teleportation.¡± ¡°What about the portal! Not to mention the sheer size of their numbers." Aizel went into deep thought. "Lord Adril!¡± ¡°If the information you gave me is true! And B is the end point of the future. Example B is 2650, the year we humans become extinct. You cannot go forward from the dot B, this is a full stop where we become extinct. The line represents us, humans. Without the human, we cannot create further lines beyond dot A, and B. Before point A, there were no human beings, and after point B, there will be no human beings, because we are extinct. So we only live in this straight line from point A to point B. The universe will continue moving on without us after 2650, we will be the only ones stuck in this timeline, forever. Are you guys still following me?" Questioned Professor Aizel. "Yes, we understand. We are stuck in this straight line forever. We are stranded and don''t have any future. We cannot move forward or backward. We will be like the Dodo birds or the Dinosaurs, wiped out from existence." Answered Jayden. "Yes, and the only way to change this is to cut the line somewhere in between and change the path or the direction. It can be a curve or zigzag line. If we cut the line we can draw the line in a different direction away from point B and continue to draw the line into the future without stopping. The longer the line is, the stronger we become, because we will either evolve or advance more in science and technologies." Prof Aizel explains calmly. "Most people have a short vision, they see only what''s in front of them but forget to look with their mind, our minds are like our eyes to the future and our past." Yes, the only way for us humans to survive is to transfer someone¡¯s memory and consciousness to the past. We cannot rely on past humans to make the changes, and they won¡¯t believe in the information either. They might think it¡¯s a prank, and not to mention there are Blue Bloods who colluded with the Entomons. So, the best solution for us is to send someone¡¯s memory to the past. We don¡¯t have many options, and this is the best thing I could come up with. If we don¡¯t change the timeline we will be stuck in this time loop forever. We might all vanish like sands when we change the past timeline, but we will still be alive on a different timeline. The situation might be different but that''s the best outcome I can predict." Professor Aizel gave his final thoughts. Now it all depended on Adril to make the decision. "How long will it take for you to complete the practical data in papers, and when are you gonna publish it?" Questioned Adril. "Minimum 2 weeks, maximum 20 days. I have to go through the papers many times, looking for mistakes. I don''t want to ruin my credibility. Once my credibility is ruined, nobody is gonna believe in what I say anymore.¡± Sigh¡­ ¡°Keeping your reputation in a scientific community is not an easy job." Professor Aizel complained whilst giving his answer. "Alright, I will summon you to the Union in 25 days. You will give a briefing to all of the members about the plan. I hope you prepare well. I will have to at least inform them before making any decision. Now go and take some rest. We shall head out then, Goodbye Professor!" Adril gave his thanks and left the room followed by Nolan. Everybody said their goodbyes to each other and followed Lord Adril. "Old man, take care of your health, I will be sending you some maids, and cooks to take care of you". Jayden said whilst giving Aizel a bear hug. "I don''t need it. They will just be a distraction, and I have my Luna." Professor Aizel said proudly while patting Luna. "Alright, goodbye then." With that Jayden also took his leave. "Nolan, install a private security system for Aizel. We don''t want anything happening to him and set the priority to the highest. We cannot take any risks with his safety." Ordered Adril. "Yes, Lord." Answered Nolan. "Three commanders. You guys should go back and take a rest. Give me military updates every 24 hrs, and I want a full sweep of spies and traitors in the military within 20 days.¡± Adril strictly gave out his orders. "Yes Lord Adril." The three of them replied confidently. "Nolan, I want you to find out more about Blue Bloods. I have a feeling that they will be an important factor in the future war.¡± Adril gave his orders and went to his flying vehicles. "Yes, Lord!¡± Noland replied and followed him to the vehicle. The vehicle rose from the ground, and vanish into the clouds in an instant. The three military leaders left in different directions with their flying vehicles. Chapter 9: Surprise Attack 1 July 19, the year 2623... In the Union High Council Chamber, everybody was debating over the new proposal. 25 days have passed since Lord Adril visited Aizel. Today was the big day where Prof Aizel gave his presentation to everyone. He did his best trying to explain everything. He convinces most of the Lords and Elders, but some of them still had doubts, skeptical about the process and the success rates. In reality, they can''t accept the fact that they are going to die. Who is not afraid of dying? So, they still wanted to try their luck escaping in different parts of the Galaxy. These are within the expectation of Adril. He already thought of a solution. We don¡¯t know if this time travel will succeed or not. So, we cannot put all the eggs in one basket. We will create many groups, and send them to different directions." How is the situation on Island Clusters?" Asked Lord Zhang Wei. "Lord Zhang! Right now, the situation is not good in Island Clusters, they have pushed us back deeper into the cluster, and they are gaining momentum. The casualty of our troops has surpassed 50 million, but we have managed to kill billions of class 1, and 2 Entomons. We haven''t seen anything out of the ordinary, and haven¡¯t seen any of their elite bugs." Explain Colton. Everyone¡¯s moods were down while listening to the number of casualties. "Something doesn¡¯t feel right about their behavior. Nolan how many escape ships do we have?" Ask Adril "Lord we have: 137 Nomad-E Class, 473 SC-Freedom, and 1782 Voyager-Civilian Class on Earth. If we included ships from all of the planets in Sol Cluster, we have enough for everyone." Answered Nolan. "Lords, and Elders. Those who want to leave___ please put your hands up.¡± Adril shouted. With their heads low, 14 people put up their hands shamefully. The Union is made up of 15 Lords and 35 Elders. Lords are the leaders of the federations, whilst Elders are the representatives of large independent organizations. So, many people bought planets, and form their own organization and kingdoms, that is after you get the approval from the Union, and not every independent organization is recognized by the Union. Suddenly an emergency siren went off... Everyone was startled. ¡®It can only mean one thing, they are here.¡¯ Lord Adril thought. A person came in and introduced himself to Lord Adril. "Brigadier General Benjamin, reporting to Lord Adril," Benjamin shouted with a salute. "At ease soldier, tell us what happened?" Asked Adril. "We have detected 3 wormholes opening in our solar system near the Kuiper Belt, Sir. It seems to be the doing of the Leviathans. Many Entomons have passed through the wormhole, and approaching us, Sir." Benjamin reported. Everyone panic. "At first, I had my suspicion, but now I understand. These Entomons are an ancient life form who had evolved, and lived for billions of years, to a stage where they can adapt to this vacuum of space. Their sensories have become so advanced that they are able to detect wormholes, and travel across space, to look for food, and resources. Would you like to add something." Ask Adril. He knew the Prof had something important to tell. "Lord! If my theory is right, I¡¯m sure it¡¯s the Leviathan that is opening up the wormholes. To open a wormhole, you need a huge amount of negative repulsive energy which can keep the wormhole from collapsing from its gravitational pressure, and they need an extraordinary amount of energy to traverse inside the wormhole. Looking at their gigantic size, I believe only the Leviathans have capabilities to hold that much amount of energies needed to open up a wormhole. That means they will have to spend a large amount of energy to open a wormhole, and it will take a few months to get their energy back, we will be at least safe from attacks for a¡­." Recall back everyone from all of the other planets. If they can travel through wormholes, then there is no point in distributing our forces separately, We will build our final line of defense firmly on this solar system." Adril ordered Nolan. "Yes, Lord." Replied Nolan, and start sending out orders to every military leader through the virtual network. ¡°Lord! What if those independent Royal families and the Merchants refuse to comply?¡± Nolan asked worriedly. ¡°Leave them behind. We don¡¯t have any time for an internal war nor any time for diplomatics. Let them defend their own territories. Just get only the people who are willing.¡± Adril said with a firm tone. He didn¡¯t have time to babysit those selfish independent Monarchies and Merchants. To Lords, and Elders who have decided to leave, I''ll authorize you 5,000 large and medium-size ships and 10,000 small ships. The more you spread out, the better for everyone. You will have higher chances of escaping this hellish situation. You guys know the drill. Women and children first. All aboard must have a clean background and medically certified. We will give you Prugnator-Droids, Meta-humans, Cyborgs, troops, and battleships for protection. With these things, you guys should be able to defend and handle most of the situations." Adril gave a summary and offered generous amounts of resources. The Lords and Elders who decided to leave can¡¯t help but feel ashamed. With the way how Lord Adril treated them, they couldn¡¯t help but hung their head low. His generosity and willingness to help everyone is proof, how much he loves and cares for humanity. On the other hand, they were greedy and selfish, they are not willing to take responsibility and run away like cowards. Will they be the same person without Lord Adril, and these selfless members of this chamber? That''s uncertain and very unlikely. The remainders who left behind at least know that they will die happy, together with friends and families, enjoying the last meal together with everyone. These people are also the followers of Lord Adril for the longest time. They know that without Lord Adril, society will never be the same again, they don''t want to see the past brutality and dirty nature of humans again. The past wars, corruption, and politics were disgusting to the core. The people escaping are all greedy and selfish people, nothing will ever be the same again. Even they realize this truth. They also love this place and enjoyed the happy moments, but instead of defending and giving back to society, here they are, running away like cowards. Now, they were having second thoughts. With the new information they got from Aizel, they realize it¡¯s not possible to get away from the Entomons if they can travel through wormholes. They finally made a resolve, they might as well as die alongside everyone and enjoy their last moment together. Lord Adril had charms that can make everyone feel at ease. People can''t help but trust and respect him. You can forget about backstabbing when you are with him, you can just enjoy your carefree life. The 14 people hesitate. The leviathans can travel through wormholes and there is no guarantee that they would be able to escape, and the military leaders have said that they will be more vulnerable out in the open. "Lord! I would like to retract back my request. I would like to fight alongside you, and die while fighting. I don''t want to be remembered as a coward. There is no chance of escaping from those monsters, might as well contribute something to the world. This is also my home." Shouted one of the Elders. Then like a chain, all of the Elders retracted their request back. All of them look at each other with a smile. They are now in the same boat. They are ready to sink together in this bottomless pit. It''s a cruel world they are living in. Adril smiles, looking at everyone. He was happy that everybody can come together in this difficult time. Chapter 10: Surprise Attack 2 Island Cluster 2, July 20. Somewhere in Island Cluster 2, in the Planet of Zeoter. There is a huge city filled with people, surrounded by wildflowers, farms, fruits, and vegetables. Rivers running through the city. It was a Picturesque city. This was the city of ZA1. ZA1 Military Command Centre... Currently, there was a meeting going on inside the meeting room. "How many did we lose today?" Asked General Rick with a deep voice. "1 million, and 37 thousand, Sir!" Replied one of the commanders. Everyone in the room went silent. They are currently losing the war. they have been in the front line, and have seen those monsters with their own eyes. The sheer size of those Leviathans sends shivers down their spines. They have been fighting for around 3 months now, and haven''t dealt with any major blows to the enemies, which was frustrating everybody in the room. "What''s the status of the other civilians? I heard there is unrest, and some people were causing trouble?" Rick asks with narrowed eyes. "Yes, we are facing a little problem. People are getting more anxious, and some rumors have been running around that, if they worship the Entomons, they won¡¯t face any harm." Replied one of his officers. "Find out the source and kill them. We can¡¯t have any distractions and waste our energy, and time on these people. Kill every Notata you find, I will take the responsibility. Send out orders, create a new law which says, anyone who associates with the Notata, they will be deemed as criminals and face the same consequences.¡± Ordered Rick. ¡°But, sir¡­¡± ¡°Stop!¡± Rick stops him from continuing. ¡°Right now it¡¯s a military state. So we make the rules. Anyone who disagrees arrests them. While you are at it, announced a big sum of rewards to the people who exposed Notata or anyone who associates with them.¡± Rick said with a resolute face. No one can dispute his orders. "Yes, General." Colonel Mason gave a salute and left the building. "General! We might have some issues with Notata. They have some connections with the Overseers and backings from powerful merchants. The Overseers are administrators who have power and influence within the systems. We can''t do anything to these people, and they are important people who are managing the cities." With that, Colton cut off the communication, and vanish into thin air. Rick also exits the virtual room. ¡°Beep, Beep, Beep¡­¡± His wrist made a sound when he walked out of the chamber. He taps his bracelet and opens up a screen. Millions of Prugnator-Droids flew out of the Motherships and start attacking the Entomons. The retreated soldiers charge in and resume their attacks. The scatter bombs tip the tide of the battle. They finally had the advantages, and start killing the Entomons like bugs. While the were dis-organize and distracted, a few S.N.B ships slowly pass through the Entomons and approach the Leviathans. These S.N.B ships were stealth fighters. They were invisible and quiet, perfect for assassination. The Leviathans were far away from the battlefield and they were watching over the battles with a group of scouts. They were starting to feel restless as they sense something approaching. But due to the chaotic situation, they can''t pint point anything. The Entomons seems to realize the situation and start commanding for retreats. But it was already too late. The S.N.Battleships have already deployed the E.M.B-Droids. The E.M.B-Droids flew in swarms across space and landed on the body of Leviathans, then they use their mouths to drill the skin of the Leviathans inject black liquids. A highly advanced bio-suit with both offense and defense is the epitome of battle suits. It was one of the latest hybrid suits which were only available to the high ranking officers and elite soldiers. Its engine is powered by anti-matters and thermal powers. It has high compressed cells in a small chamber which can store Petawatts of energies. Rick clench his fist and feels the power rushing through his suit. His physical body was already powerful enough to be called the strongest in human history. In the 26th century, people can change their genetic code, and get rid of all the bad and weaker genes, they can also modify and enhance their genetic structures with similar characteristics to the animals or bugs. People can even change their bone structure into steel, and their muscle fibers into synthetic fibers. Chapter 13: Winter Wolf Island Cluster 2. Somewhere in an Asteroid field. "BOOM, BOOM... " "Patatata... " "Buzzz... . ." Sound of explosions and rapid-fire could be heard while swarms of Entomons surrounded the battleships and swallowed the whole thing like it was nothing. Heavy armored Entomons could be seen charging through the frontline smashing the Prugnator-Droids and ripping them apart into pieces. Humans replied back with their heavy artilleries. They shot back with their 4th Generation B grade heavy cannons. Multiple rounds of 4B-Rail guns and 4B-Coil guns were fired at those armored Entomons pulverizing them instantly. Both sides were entangled in the war with Entomons slowly gaining the upper hand. "Lieutenant General! Our military resources are running low... If this continues, we will not be able to support for more than 10 days." One of the officers reported. Lt General Henry was calmly looking at the holographic map of the Island Cluster 2. Their scally armors were too thick and strong for weapons or lasers to penetrate through, it just deflects everything and didn''t even leave a scratch on their armors. Looking at the gigantic Entomons killing his soldiers like a machine, destroying their battleships like papers, and toying with the cyborgs makes him sad and angry. Finally, their proud weapons were rendered useless against these newcomer Entomons... "They have finally sent out their Noble Entomons!" Henry exclaimed with a heavy heart. They had long realized the existence of these higher classes of Entomons. They name these ruling class/higher forms of Entomons as Noble Entomons because they are the ruling class in the hierarchy of Entomons, and they have the ability to control the other Entomons, there is always a hierarchy in every civilization and it was nothing new or strange. This suit specializes in close combat, and one of its main strengths is agility. He feels the sharpness of his claws and played it with for a while. Suddenly, he took a fighting stance and closes his fist. His eyes sparkle a glow as his fist sucks in all the air around him. He then threw a punch at a lightning speed. The suit penetrative, and explosive power were perfect for assaults. The fur on his suit was not for decoration, it was an insulator and his suit perform the best in extreme weather conditions. The fur keeps his suit away from freezing and it can perform in an optimal condition on planets with extreme weather or climates. It also conserves energy whilst the other suit needs to consume more energy to maintain its temperature. But not for 6 generation suits like the "Bald Eagle". They almost have no weakness. Nothing is impossible as long as you have enough money, influence, and power. Henry walks out with his bio-suits and went into the large warehouse, where they keep their Atom suits. Inside was a beautiful sleeping giant, white in color, humanoid wolf similar to his bio-suit. His colossus battle suit was huge compared to the standard Atom suits, standing 52 meters tall. It was just lying there quietly, sleeping like an innocent child. He looks at the sleeping giant and suddenly had a flashback of memories. He remembered some of the battles he had gone through with his trusted battle suit. He enters and syncs in with the battle suit. "Old friend! It has been a long time since we fought." He sighs... "ROAR¡­ ." He madly roars and flew straight towards Matthew as if he had gone insane. A few soldiers wearing Atom suits tried to block him, but he smashes through them like a paper wall. "Bam¡­" He landed on the Asteroid where Mathew had fallen. Matthew smiles bitterly as he watches the gigantic Entomon approaching at him. Millions of streak of lights could be seen flying towards them wearing CCS3, and CCS4 Atom suits. They charge straight through the swarm of Entomons and start smashing and slicing them into pieces. The Entomons didn''t have much resistance against the reinforcement. They were just bugs in front of these towering Giants, not to mention the one piloting them were all elite soldiers. They have gone through many battles whilst exploring hostile planets. One could tell the difference with the way how they battle. They were much more lethal and effective with their killing blows. The Entomons were blown apart and cleanly cut whenever they come in contact with these elite soldiers. High ranking officers who wore CCS4 starts attacking the Noble Entomons, keeping them busy and occupied. Without support from the Noble Entomons, the lower class Entomons were at a disadvantage. Both of them have similar speed, size, and strength, but the elite soldiers have superior fighting skills, better weapons and equipment, and the suits were made out of Titanium, pure graphene and rare materials from planet Nanian, which can certainly take hits from the Noble Entomons. It was drawing closer and closer. The soldiers were getting nervous. They had never faced such a large number of enemies, not to mention the enemies were more powerful than them. "Good lord!" The soldiers exclaimed. They saw seas of Entomons coming from every direction. Never in their dreams would they imagine something this outrageous. There were a lot of Entomons which they had never seen before. As they were slowly closing in. Right when the swarms of Entomons approach 100 miles. "FIRE!" Henry shouted. The Warship then fired rounds of UVA bombs(Ultra-Violet Antimmater bombs). It travels at the speed of 27,000 miles/sec into the void and pierces through the sea of Entomons. Everything went quiet for a moment The new swarm of Entomons was led by a large Stag King. When he saw something ominous coming towards them at an incredible speed without any noise. He suddenly felt restless, his instinct told him that it was something extremely dangerous. "SCREECH¡­ ." He makes a loud screech, telling his army to get away from the light, but everything was too late. "BOOOOM¡­ ." There was a flash of blinding light. The clueless Entomons were dazed as they looked at the blinding light passing through them. Everything into dust. The blast ripped across the space killing billions of Entomons. All of the Entomons within the radius of the fireball which is 18,500 Mile were turned into dust. The radiation spreads and burns through the smaller and weaker Entomons into crisp, and the air blast blows away all of the Entomons. That''s more than 5,000 times stronger than Tsar Bomba 100 Megatons, and that''s 1-year energy output of the sun. One of these missiles could destroy the Earth. Henry sent 10 more missiles into the swarm ripping 10 large holes into the sea of Entomons. It was a success. More than half of the Entomons were wiped out. Everyone cheered when they saw the Entomons miserable conditions. The sad thing is that they don''t have any more UVA bombs to kill the Entomons. Each Warship was given a specific amount of UVA bombs. Higher grades of Warship were given more, like General Rick¡¯s Battle Star II is given 15 UVA bombs while the rest is stocked on Earth. Humans stop manufacturing mass destructive weapons because they thought it was not needed anymore, but now it seems their decisions were wrong. The old and less powerful Uranium Antihydrogen bombs(Antimatter Hydrogen bomb) are stored in a secured location because of its harmful nature to the environment. Most of them are already dismantled and use it as fuel. Uranium is a very rare and limited resource and is only formed in planetoids with specific conditions, so they have run out of Uranium a long time ago when they were still a budding civilization, or they just make it illegal to farm. And they have found many new minerals which are far better than Uranium as a replacement. The Stag King was blasted away by the radiation and flung him a few miles away. But nothing happened to him ¨C¨C he shook off the dizziness and found a way to balance his flight. Not only him but most of the Noble Entomons survived the blast. As long as they are not within the range of the fireball, they could survive almost anything. "SCREECH¡­ ." He watched many of his subordinates screeching in pain. Half of his swarm had already turned into dust. He was seething with rage. "SCREECH¡­ ." He let out a long screech and charged straight into the sea of humans. The new Entomons were much stronger than the one they had fought, and the Noble Entomons were much larger and stronger than the previous one. This time the number of the Noble Entomons was around tens of thousands, and most of them were 50 meters tall, and the Stag King stood 54 meters tall. The Stag King and his elite warriors were charging through the human line of defense and destroying everything in front of them. "Bzz¡­ Bzz¡­" They charged through the bullets with extreme speed and tore the Atom suits like paper toys. "BAM¡­ ." The Noble Entomons smashed and crushed everything in their paths. These Protector Entomons were middle-class Noble Entomons. They stood 53 meters tall and had a more thick and rough surface on their bodies. The Protector Entomons was slammed so hard that it flew across space and slam against one of the asteroids. Li Wei stomps his foot and jumps across space at an incredible speed and lands right on the top of the buried Entomon with incredible force, burying the Entomon deeper into the ground. "SCREECH¡­" The other one got angry because he was ignored. He screeched and flew straight for Li Wei. The battlefield was getting intense. The number of Entomons was overwhelming, but the humans stubbornly refuse to give up their positions. The battleships took down large groups of Entomons with their highly advanced weapons. They deployed many miniaturized missiles which are stronger than Tsar Bomba 100 megatons ¨C dealing tons of damage, and holding back the swarms of Entomons. Rain bullets and lasers were fired across the battlefield shredding the Entomons into pieces. The Entomons were also fighting back, Spitter Entomons spit highly corrosive acids to the Atom suits melting them into liquids. Bio-suits could be seen bursting out of the Atom suit and retreating back from the front line. While retreating, they use their guns and lasers to fight back, trying to contribute as much as they can to win this war. Leviathans also crashed down into the humans and sucked up a large number of humans into their mouth. The Warship and the MotherShips release their high energy weapons dealing tons of damage to the Leviathans ¨C but the Leviathans were too big to be taken down by a few bullets. Watching all of these itches Henry''s hearts. "Activate the UV-Beam. Notify all of the Motherships to target those Leviathans." Henry ordered, and activated his blue energy shield. As soon as he activates his shield. "BAM¡­" He was a smash and slammed against a rough mountain. He stood up and looked at Stag King who was ready for another attack. Without waiting for the attack, he slammed his foot and charged straight for the Stag King. The Stag King saw this and opened up his sharp scissor horn trying to catch Henry. Henry dodged the attack and went for his neck. Without anyone realizing it, a sharp 7 meters high-frequency claw appeared from Henry''s knuckle and went straight into the crack between the neck. Luckily for the Stag King, the claw went only 3 meters deep due to his thicker shells ¨C which surprises Henry. ¡®Normally, I can slice through Noble Entomons easily, but this one has a thicker, and much harder shell than I thought.¡¯ Henry thought. But he still managed to slice through a few meters which were more than enough for him. At Least he knew he could kill this Stag King. "ROOAAR... ." The Stag King roars loudly as blue blood squirts out from his neck. He became frenzied and swung his scissor horn wildly. The rampage Stag King almost crushed Henry with his body, but he dodge the wild attack climb on the top of the Stag King. ¡°Drip, Drip, Drip¡­¡± After a few seconds, the bleeding stopped and the tissue started repairing itself. Henry clings tightly onto Stag King and looks at the wound with amazement. But the wound didn''t repair the shell. ''I guess, the shell takes longer time to heal.'' He thought, and pierce straight through the gap between the shells. "SCREECH..." The Stag King screeched with pain as he madly rolled and crashed into a small mountain. The violet beam was so powerful that it ripped through the Leviathans like it was an empty space. "Group Captain! We have 75% Energy remaining," reported one of the pilots. "Charge it again!" ordered Aaron. "Group Captain! 11 Leviathans are heading towards our direction. I think they''re targeting the Warship and the MotherShip." One of the cabin crew hurriedly reported. "Dispatch every battleship and tell them to distract the Leviathans for 2 minutes. And tell them to aim for their weak and sensitive spots." "Yes, Sir!" Replied the crew members. The reserve battleships were dispatched and headed straight for the Leviathans. On the battlefield, Li Wei was having a hard time on the battlefield. The Protector Entomons were tougher than he thought. His attacks weren''t doing much damage, he can see many small cracks on their shells, but not a life-threatening one. He was dodging and smashing their heads and crevices with his ax, but it only enraged them more. "BAM¡­" One of the Protector Entomons smashes him into a rocky mountain. Li Wei grinned and stood up slowly from the crumble rocks. He shook away the dust and looked at the two Entomons charging at him. He gripped his ax tightly and shouted. "COMMON YA BASTARD!!! Show me what ya got!" He slammed his foot and took a big leap while putting up his energy shield¨C he swung his gigantic ax onto the head of one of the Entomon. "BAM¡­" He smashed one of their heads and in exchange, he got smashed by the other Entomon. This time, his suit suffered heavy damage, but it slowly repaired itself. The repair consumes a lot of energy. The fight was in a stalemate for now, but he wasn''t sure if he could win this battle. "Group Captain! UV-Beam will be ready in 30 seconds." The technician reported. "Lock the target on those incoming Leviathans, and inform Lieutenant General Henry that this is our last UV-Beam. Our energy cannot fall below 50%." Ordered Aaron. "Yes, Sir!" The crew replied and hurriedly sent a message to Henry. "Sir! 3 of the Leviathans seems to be coming for our Mothership." One of the crew members reported hurriedly. "How long till it''s fully charged?" Aaron asked. "21 seconds, Sir!" replied the crew member. "How long till the leviathans reach us?" Aaron asked as he looked at the Leviathan heading towards them. Thousands of Prugnator-Droids and battleships were shooting and bombarding the Leviathans, but nothing seems to be able to stop them. "15 seconds till they reach us, Sir!" replied the crew member. "We don''t have enough time! Put the Mothership in self-destruction mode within 15 seconds. Detach the Command post, and announce an emergency evacuation." Aaron ordered with a resolute face. In the Command post, an Ai was scanning the whole ship for life signatures, and checking if anyone misses out on the warnings. Droids were sent out to evacuate the people if necessary. It was an efficient system. Everyone was out of the Mothership within 10 secs. "All personnel! Retreat away from the Mothership Centurion 3SA-734. It will self-destruct in 13 seconds. Stay at least 50 miles away from the Mothership. I repeat! Retreat and stay 50 miles away from Centurion 3SA-734." Aaron sends out warnings to everyone. Everyone flew far away from the Mothership Centurion 3SA-734. The Command post detached itself from the Mothership and flew away from the battlefield. The Mothership went into auto-pilot and flew straight for incoming Leviathans. "Impacts in 7sec ..6..5..4..3..2..1..0.." Before the Leviathans could realize what was happening. The fully charged UV-Beam energy was also discharged on the impact creating an explosion that brightened up the whole battlefield. Even the Entomons pause for a second and awe at the explosion. It was truly a beautiful sight to see. The Leviathans were battered and charred from the explosion. They did not show any signs of life anymore. "ROAAAR¡­ ." The other Leviathans roared with anger. But before they could grieve, they saw 4 bright flashes of lights coming straight at them. They were startled, but before they could blink, a large hole burned through their bodies. It was another round of UV-Beam from the Warship and the Motherships. 7 dead, 3 heavily wounded, and one remain unscathed. The human''s cheered when they saw the death of the Leviathans. These Leviathans had caused too much damage to the humans in the battlefield. With that, humans have finally depleted almost all of their energy. Only the Warship had a few more rounds of UV-Beam. Henry''s soul shivered as he looked at the incoming enemies. Chapter 15: Planet IC2-P4S37 "Everyone retreat!!!" Henry shouted as he looked in horror at the 100s of billion Entomons approaching at an incredible speed. "Retreat! Retreat!" The whole battlefield was in chaos. Everyone retreated including Li Wei who was fighting the Protector Entomons. A few Atom suits came flying and landed next to Henry. "Lieutenant General Henry! Are we truly retreating?"Asked one of the commanders. "427 billion," Henry muttered. When Li Wei and the elite soldiers heard the numbers, their whole body shivers. "The ones we have fought are mostly common swarms. Now, I can detect a lot of Entomons who are far more stronger than the Stag King, especially the one who is leading them. If my guess is correct, it must be the queen. Our only hope is to defend from the temporary camp." Henry said and starts giving out instructions. "Create a defensive perimeter around planet IC2-P4S37 (Island Cluster 2-Planet 4 Star 37), and inform the higher-ups. I think we might not last 2 days." They weren''t able to perfectly complete all of the tasks as they have so little time on their hands. A huge cluster of Entomons started showing up from the dark abyss forming dark clouds in the vicinity of the planet. The Stag Queen and her subordinates flew out of the clusters and look down on the planet. The Stag Queen was much bigger and more humanoid than the rest of the Noble Entomons. She was 63 meters tall, and she has a metallic shell with light red colors and black underside, and she was less spiky than the other Entomons. She stood proudly with her Stag Champion Entomons who were around 60 meters tall. They were a higher class of Noble Entomons and the strongest of their breeds. She looks down on the planet and saw the humans busy preparing their defenses. She turns her back and then looks at the Stag King who was in a pitiful state. "BAM..." The Stag King was sent flying across space and slammed against one of the Leviathans. The Leviathan wasn''t bothered by the impact, but that''s not true for the Stag King. "Buzzz¡­" One of her subordinates took down the order and lead tens of billion Entomons and charge straight into the planet. They started descending down like a Tsunami, ready to devour every living creatures on the planet. "Buzz¡­" The Entomons started coming down like rain from the dark clouds, except it wasn''t rain, it was gigantic bugs who were far more powerful than any living creatures they had ever faced. "OMG!!!" For humans, it was like a doomsday scenario. "SCREECH¡­." The Entomons were screeching as they descended down with madness. But suddenly there was a loud explosion in the sky. "BOOM¡­" A large group of Entomons was blasted away by the explosion and torn them into pieces, then there were multiple explosions as the Entomons keep descending down. The Entomons who were in the midst of the explosion were confused and doesn''t know what to do. They were battered from left and right by the explosion and everything was in chaos. "Screech¡­" You can see a lot of injured Entomons screeching with pain as their bodies are riddled with holes. "FIRE!!!" Henry shouted. The soldiers raise their guns and started firing at the sky, while the Entomons were busy trying to get away from the explosion, but the sky was suddenly filled with a rain of lasers and bullets, they did not have anywhere to dodge. These Bruiser Entomons were both a tank and a fighter class Entomons. The Bruiser Entomons shook off their dizziness and charge into the frontline. Seeing this, Henry sent out the combat soldiers wearing Atom suits to stop them. "Bam¡­" A clash between the titans started again. "Seems like the Stag Queen is very smart. She got 427 billion armies while we have only a few billion soldiers. They could have crushed us with the sheer amount of their numbers. But instead of blindly charging in, she chose to use her brain. Which is both good and bad news for us. The bad news is, they are smarter and our surprise attacks won''t work on her. Their people are all tanky fighters, their defenses are the highest and best for frontal combats. They flew off and landed right onto the battlefield. A laser gun pops out from his shoulders and starts shooting. AT-guns are autonomous targeting guns, it targets enemies when humans are incapable of reacting to the speed of their enemies. The weapon reaction speed is 10 millisecond and 1 millisecond to reach its target. The sensory data will lock on to the targeted enemy''s position and shoot out lasers with 100% accuracy. But the sad thing is, the AT-guns on their suits weren''t working against the Reaper Entomons. The AT-guns weren''t made for the Entomons, due to the abrupt situation of the war, and lack of intelligence. None of their suits were upgraded to fight against every species of the Entomons. The battlefield was starting to become chaotic. Everyone was worried and getting restless, they don''t want to be the next target. "Snap¡­ Snap¡­ Snap¡­" Everyone started hearing snapping sounds on the battlefield like someone was having a snack. The Reaper Entomons were reaping lives like grim reapers. Everyone''s limbs went numb each time they hear a snapping sound. It was like a nightmare. One of the soldiers was shivering inside the Atom suit, he watches the indicator and turns his head around, again and again, pointing his gun at the direction, but by the time he turns around, the Reaper Entomons had already vanished. Suddenly he detects a blurry image coming to him at an insane speed. He was anxious. He tried to aim his muzzles at the approaching target. "Zap¡­ zap¡­ zap¡­" The Reaper Entomons burst open and splash gooey mucus and red blood all over his suit. It was the newly made special Prugnator-Droids equip with AT-Guns. The humans knew about the Entomons with incredible speed, so they made a few batches of Prugnator-Droids strap with AT-Guns. "Zap... zap¡­ zap¡­" It shoots out highly intense 20 Gigawatt power green light lasers which burst open the Reaper Entomons. The battlefield was stabilized again as the AT-Prugnator-Droids helping from the sidelines. The soldiers breathe a sigh of relief. The war continues as the humans bitterly struggle to defend their line of defense. For elite soldiers, they didn''t have much problem with the Reaper Entomons. Their suits were superior, to begin with, and their reaction speed and fighter instinct gave them the advantage to predict the pattern of their enemies. Henry turns around and swipes his claw cutting the Reaper Entomon into half. Similar things were happening to all of the elite soldiers as they squash the Reaper Entomons. Even so, they cannot chase down and kill the Reaper Entomons and the AT-Prugnator-Droids were in limited numbers and they cannot cover the whole battlefield. "Everyone retreat back to the camp!!!" Henry shouted. Henry knew if they continue this battle, they will lose. They were distracted by the Reaper Entomons while the Noble Entomons were causing destruction. It was hard to keep up with both of them. Li Wei was getting all the attention of the Entomons especially the Reaper Entomons. "This is not good!" Seeing Li Wei getting the attention of the Reaper Entomons, He ignores the Stag Champion Entomon and charge straight through the group of Entomons. "Li Wei!!! Watch out!!!" Henry shouted as he blasts through the nearby Entomons. Li Wei was aware of the Reaper Entomons. While fighting the Noble Entomons, he was always cautious and tracking the movement of the Reaper Entomons. Li Wei suddenly lifts his Ax and... "BAM¡­" He smashes into thin air. But to everyone''s surprise, there was a Reaper Entomon twitching on the ground. A sudden warning came from his suit. He turns around and swings his Ax and slice another Reaper Entomons, but another two caught his arm and leg as they try to snap his limbs. But it was tougher than the other Atom suits. They clutch onto him as they try to break his arm and leg causing a lot of damage to Li Wei''s suit. He grabs one of the Reaper Entomons clutching his arm and crushes his head. While he was tangled another 3 Reaper Entomons jumps on him and pushes him on the ground. Li Wei rolls on the ground and crushes them with his weight and smashes the one tangling on his leg with his Ax. Suddenly the ground starts trembling. Everyone on the grounds was shaking. A giant mouth suddenly burst out from the ground where Li Wei was and swallowed him whole along with a few other Entomons and dive down on the ground. A loud explosion tore a big hole into the clusters of Entomons, the fireball disintegrate the surrounding Entomons and the blastwave push back the Entomons miles away from the epicenter of the explosion, and causing millions of injuries. General Rick was on the Warship infirmary looking at Henry who was submerged inside a tube filled with some kind of liquid. "70%....80%," a monotone computer voice reported. "90%...100%. Healing completed." The machine scans one more time and the liquid started draining leaving the naked Henry floating inside the tube with a pipe mask on his face. The machine gave some kind of sock signal to Henry waking him up from his somber. Henry opened his eyes and took off his mask puking out some liquid residual from his stomach. The tube slowly lifted up and Henry walked out of the medical tube, he took the robe handed to him by the medical staff and wore it hurriedly, and went to give a military salute to Rick who was standing with a few high ranking officers waiting for him. "At ease soldier! Let''s go and talk while eating, you must be hungry." Rick pat Henry''s shoulder and all of them walked inside General Rick''s private dining room. Many Entomons started pouring out from wormhole along with a few gigantic Leviathans. The most eye-catching among these new batch of Leviathans is the 3.1miles in height and 5 miles long Leviathan. It was huge and towered above the rest of the Leviathans, and it got darker skin colors and thicker skin. The Rhino King was standing on the top of the Leviathan''s head with an imposing manner. He brought 38 billion Entomons with him, along with thousands of higher class of Entomons like Bruiser, Berserker and Champion Entomons. The Rhino King was one of the strongest King under Rhino Queen who had a bigger swarm and higher status than the Stag Queen. The Noble Entomons have a low population, but each and every one of them has extraordinary combat powers and they have the ability to command other lower Entomons. Their defenses are so thick that they are basically immune to all of the attacks from the lower class of the Entomons. The Rhino King approaches the Stag King and stood beside her, which infuriated the Stag Queen. In a real custom, he should have knelt down and wait until she signals him to rise, but she could do nothing against him as she is the one who is asking for help. The heavy firepower to stop the enemies right on their tracks. The Stag Queen and the Rhino King were behind the cluster looking at the battlefield. Even though they were halted from moving forward, they don''t believe the enemies could hold on for long. The damage they cause can be neglected as they numbers in hundreds of billions. The Entomons started spreading in all directions and starts approaching from everywhere. The humans look this and they shiver. Even though they had face the Entomons many times, but they are still scared of them. It was like an endless nightmare. The Entomon numbers seemed endless, no matter how many they kill. Seeing the enemy approaching from everywhere, Rich gave out multiple orders. ''It''s time to bait them to the planets.'' He thought. "Prepare for a retreat." He shouted. Planet Zeoter has a much better defense system than some random Planets in IC2, and the cities were equipped with more powerful weapons and a higher energy system. Seeing the situation, the Stag Queen knew she needs to come up with a solution rather than heading straight into the enemy''s territories. "Screeechhh¡­." She screeches as she started commanding her swarms. The Entomons started retreating from the human camps and landed someplace safe. The Stag Queen along with the Rhino King standing on the top of the Leviathans lead their elite warriors and started descending far away from the cities. The Leviathans than start pouring legged Entomons from their mouths. Billions of sharp and spiky legged Entomons, standing around 3 meters tall started coming out from the Leviathans mouths and start charging towards the cities while screeching. A few gigantic worm-like creatures could be seen slithering out from the mouth of the Leviathans and dive inside the ground like it was sand. "Ground troops! Get ready!!!" General Rick shouted as he looked at the Entomons shrieking and charging towards them. Soldiers started lining up with their mini-Atom suits, along with billions of Meta-humans, Prugnator-Droids, and cyborgs. Due to the sheer size of the suits, the amounts of material needed to create a colossus Atom suit is too high. So, not everyone can wear a colossus Atom suit. But there is a mini version of Atom suit, they are similar in many ways, both have advanced features and materials, except for the size and power. The Atom suits were made out of Titanan alloy and pure graphene. Titanan alloy is a new metal made out of Titanium and Nanian metal N-E1. Higher grades of Atom suits are made out of higher Titanan alloy like N-D1 or even N-A1 and thicker layers of pure graphene or Carbyne. Some of the Atom suits like the "Bald Eagle" and "The Achilles" are made out of pure Nanian metals N-B1 and Nanian fibers which is stronger than pure graphene. "Thump¡­ Thump¡­ Thump¡­" Heavy footsteps could be heard in the cities as millions of mini-Atom suits and Atom suits line up in the wide grasslands outside of the main city. They were carrying higher grades of Mega Guns and Giga Guns in hands and aim at the incoming Entomons. Prugnator-Droid tanks line up behind the soldiers and charge their energy guns. "FIRE!!!...." The Entomons were blasted into smithereens, killing millions of Entomons. The bullets and the lasers from the soldiers tore through the front Entomons, it was a one-sided slaughter for the moment. But the Entomons keep charging towards the cities like nothing happen. The soldiers who were busy killing the Entomons suddenly felt the ground trembling. Before they could realize what was happening. "BOOM!!!..." A giant worm burst out of the ground and swallowed a 20 to 30 soldiers wearing mini-Atom suits. "AAAAAAAAA!!!...." Their companions went crazy and fired everything they had, but it was not effective. When they felt everything was lost, a spear-like metal tore through the colossus worm-like papers and there was a huge hole in its stomach. It was one of the heavy artilleries 6A-Rail guns from the Prugnator-Droids tanks. "ROARRR¡­." The Greedworm roars and dives into the ground again. Even though the hole was big, it was a tiny wound for the Greed Worm. The Greedworm was too big and they got too much vitality. The soldiers don''t know how to respond to the attack of the Greedworm as it comes from the underground and also they were too hard to kill. Not only were they fast, but they will also dive underground as soon as they get hurt or sense any danger. It was one hell of an annoying opponent. "If only we have enough of those guns, these f*ckers will be nothing." shouted one of the soldiers with extreme anger. The energy and materials needed to tore through the colossus worm is enormous. That''s why, when the leaders of the military said, they can kill any enemies, it''s just a matter of resources. The battle continued with both sides at a stalemate, as long as the human side had enough resources, they could win this battle. But, their resources were draining rapidly. "The Stag Queen is nowhere to be seen. None of her elites warriors and Noble Entomons have yet joined the battle. Maybe they are planning for an ambush," Rick said looking deeply into the enemy''s camp who was far away from the city. The Entomons were slowly gaining the upper hand. They remain numerous, no matter how much you kill them. Rick gave out orders as he watches the battles. The soldiers who were battling in the frontline receive the orders. They began retreating slowly to the second line of defense.
