 Prologue

    "You gotta view everyone equally" is what I''ve been hearing since the day I learned how to speak and read; That is, When I was 3 months old.


    You might be wondering how in the hell I could speak and read at 3 months of age. Well, about that, I don''t know either, I''m confused about what I actually am.


    I wasn''t born like any simple human being, When I opened my eyes in this world, I was in a cave full of white blanket. (A cave full of snow).


    I opened my eyes, I was feeling cold..... way too cold.................. .....................My eyes were like frozen already the moment I opened them. I couldn''t utter a single word.


    I was in complete isolation then and even now. I couldn''t move; I think I would have died there if it wasn''t for the misbehavior of my hormones.


    Due to the enormous cold, I was losing my life bit by bit and almost froze to death but I wasn''t afraid that time as I knew I got nothing to lose even if I die being some hours old. Back to where I was though, Soon as I was about to faint, My body moved on its own; My glands weren''t coordinating with my brain anymore and did whatever necessary for my survival. During that time, I was learning everything I was witnessing. I don''t know why but I was able to feel every change in the environment and even in my body. I was feeling every organ in my body.     I was able to move my eyes now as I felt a bit warm due to the movement and I saw a cave far away in which a white huge intimidating appearance could be seen.(Snow Beast).As I looked around, there were more caves, There were Snow Beasts in each cave.


    So I guessed there should be one for this cave too, as I thought, the Snow Beast was returning and I saw something glowing coming at it with high speed. It hurt the snow beast and it was falling on me; I moved out of the way and it fell hard.


    I shook as it fell and was pulled into its direction. I couldn''t sense any life from it as I touched its fur. Its fur was warmer than my life and I hid in its fur and felt warm. I was healing as I was holding the bear and just like that I stopped getting cold. A group of humans came to get the bear''s skin and found me. The hunters were in strife after seeing me and were arguing a lot until they come to a single decision. They took me with them.

    3 months later.........


    3 months passed since the hunters took me in. During those 3 months, I saw many shapes every day and everything seemed to be weird and way too different from each other. The Hunters produced distinct or similar sounds every day.


    There was this daughter of the hunter who verbally fought with other hunters to help me; if I remember right then his name was Crook, His daughter bothered to play with me, I didn''t like it.


    That Hunter was called Crook and his daughter''s name was Rivora, Rivora made my head go down my legs or sometimes made me do a handstand while grabbing my legs. None of the hunters could pry as I couldn''t cry either.


    Now if I think about it, she was just a brat who didn''t know much. Though she was the reason I learned alphabets and also the reason I could speak,


    As 3 months passed, I heard the people on the radio who were discussing equality. The Agenda was to see every being as equal "None stands above another no matter whatsoever". I heard this and tried to comprehend it. I understood it but never found resemblance of this agenda with the Hunters as they kill bears every week or so, also the paycheck was different for every hunter.


    I guess I should not have many hopes for the hunters.


    ***(sleeping)***


    *Boom!


    My sleep again got ruined by this Rivora, I never liked her bothering me,

    I smell trouble; I can smell blood from somewhere near the shelter as the world was turned upside down for me. The Odour is different from the bear''s blood, smells like my own blood but isn''t mine. I guess maybe a hunter is about to die.

    James: '' How in the hell so many snow beasts came here?''


    Tad: '' I don''t know, Probably one of them followed us''


    James: '' At this rate, We''ll all die. ''


    Tad: '' I have a plan; Get Arnos and Mason out''


    James; '' What are you thinking?''


    Tad: '' Do it quick, You goof''


    James: '' Alright, Calm down''


    *After a while*


    Tad: " Listen, all of you dipshits, You have already taken a look at the situation and death is inevitable if we fight this many snow beasts. But I can save all of us here at the expense of 1 sacrifice,


    Mason: '' That is?''


    Tad: ''Crook"


    James: '' Haha! Just what I''ll expect from you; I''ll follow.''


    Mason: ''I don''t wanna betray him but I don''t wanna die right now either, I agree.''


    Tad: '' Arnos, I''m assuming your silence as yes.''


    Mason: '' Let him speak, man.''


    Arnos: '' I don''t know, do what you want''


    Tad: '' Alright so all we are gonna do is kill Crook and his blood will attract the snow beasts. It''s easy to kill him in his sleep. When the beasts are in the house, We''ll set it on fire.''


    ***Jean***


    I am sensing a huge energy source of many kinds in the house now, the blood''s smell keeps increasing. I''m smelling something getting burnt from the same place,


    I''m not sure about anything now


    AAaaaarghh! Father!!


    As she screamed, The whole house was on fire and Rivora was trembling as she fell that caused my bed to fall too.


    As I rose up from the floor, I saw Crook''s body surrounded by Beasts, No life can I sense from him.


    On my left, I observed Rivora''s face covered with fear and tears,


    "Why do I keep getting exposed to death facing situations? This time, I need to save myself"


    As I thought of this, My Adrenaline raised up, I felt the energy coming from inside me which eventually led me to stand up on my feet only to fall down the next second; again, I stood up and saw the beasts running away probably because of fire,


    I assessed the place and located the path outta the shelter with my very two eyes, somewhat complex but grants a safe exit. As I was following the path, Rivora started following me, I wish she would have just died here but fuck it.
