《Luckiest person in the world!》 Chapter 1: I won something? This is super strange... Yeah, 100% a dream! ''Another day, another day!''. It is 4 pm, which means my work time is finished, so I get up to leave, just to find a customer, which looked like a rich girl. So the game was basically like World of Worraft (you get what I mean), but instead of different races, there are some quests that you can do to give you a certain passive skill, limited to one per character. More than one character can share the same passive skill, but there are passive skills that are rare to get; Just like classes. You start the game selecting a class, but sometimes you will get a drop that will allow you to reset your level and change your class into a rare one, for example. Archer can upgrade into Ranger regularly. But to get the Job ''Sniper'', you need to find a ''Sniper Token'' then reset your level to level 0, and start playing as a Sniper. Of course Passive skills and Jobs have ratings on them. Starting with Common, then going to Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary. With Legendary being the rarest and strongest. So to shortcut all of the above. You create your character, choose a Job, get a random Passive skill, then start the game in a selected location. Locations are what is confusing. So every player will start in a ''Village'', then when they reach level 10, they won''t be able to go to a ''Town'', until they reach level 30, they won''t be able to go to a ''City'', then finally at level 50, they won''t be able to go to "Capital". There are different factions in the game. 4 Kingdoms and 1 Empire in the middle of the map, in the continent of Dracoya. The Empire is currently the strongest, and only the Light Church can contest against it in power. Of course there are a lot of churches and religions; some worship angels, the others worship devils, and they fight most of the time too. It sounded like another world but in the middle ages! With magic, and skills, it is so cool! I looked at the Jobs. There was a lot to choose from, the Jobs were divided into categories. Weapon Specialists: Swordsman/ Archer/ Assassin/ Barbarian(2HS) Magic Specialists: Mage/ Summoner/ Monk/ Tamer Support Specialists: Cleric/ Alchemist/ Priest/ Enchanter Special Jobs: Thief/ Shieldman/ Fighter/ Paladin Weapon Specialists are Jobs that are restricted to a certain type of weapon. For example, Swordsman can only use swords and nothing else, while assassin can only use daggers and small crossbows. Magic Specialists are Jobs that are mainly related to magic power, most of them raise the stat (INT).This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. Support Specialists are Jobs that do the healing, buffing, reviving; they are also fit to be lifestyle players like those who cook and sell their dishes to the people inside the game. Special Jobs are Jobs that have no restrictions what so ever. You can do whatever you want with them, but it is just your luck on how it turns, for example a Shieldman would usually increase his (VIT), but can instead increase his (INT) to increase his damage output, or even be able to spam his skills more. I finally finished reading about the game, and already ate my crepe... It was so delicious! I want more but I am scared of diabetes! The gaming capsule arrived and was moved to my bedroom, and at 00:00, I entered the Capsule and slept there. I opened my eyes to see -Game is loading-, it made me remember the time when I used to play those games that load for an hour! I was excited but the game kept on saying -Game is loading- in white letters with a black screen. I felt bored but I couldn''t disconnect, so I thought that my bad luck finally came back... I waited and waited and waited, until I heard -Ding, completed a secret quest! You have survived isolation for 3 hours. I started customizing my character to make it have a nice hairstyle, black hair, black eyes, a little pale tan skin tone. With that I was finished, as for my Job, I selected Thief! For the Location, I made the choice to go to the weakest kingdom, Stecia kingdom. It was the smallest of all kingdoms, and it was the weakest. It was even losing the war right now, a very unpopular choice. I closed my eyes and opened it again to hear -Ding, pleases select your Character''s Passive skill- A screen appeared in front of me, showing me 3 Passive skills. 1- Appraisal Eyes Rank: Epic Gives you the skill Apprise, increasing your experience points each time you apprise something successfully. 2- Weapon Mastery Rank: Epic Increases the Mastery of your weapon by 1 grade (apply even after reaching maximum Weapon Mastery) 3- Lucky Miss! /Lucky Strike! Rank: Common (upgradable) Rank Limit: Mythical When an enemy attacks you or cast a skill on you, there are 5% additional chance for that attack to miss. There is a 5% additional chance that your attacks will hit their target! ... I didn''t even think about it and accepted the third... With my current luck, this Passive skill is so scary! Level: 0 STR: 1 INT: 0 VIT: 0 AGI: 4 DEX: 2 CRT: 0 Free points: 5 I added another 4 to agility (AGI) and 1 to strength (STR) I am so lucky, people can start with 3-7 total stat points and 2-5 free points. Not only did I start with the maximum amount, but I also had all my points allocated in useful places for a thief! This is what I call "The Luckiest Start Ever!" I shouted and everyone around me look at me as if I was a weirdo. Chapter 3: I lost my way to hit a fortune! I read there were those martial artists or something like that. They play games like this and have good reflexes and amazing knowledge about fighting... But for me, I am just a normal person that is playing for fun! Kinda scary if I got into a fight with those martial artists! Back to the game, I looked around to see the place a little bit crowded, and I didn''t know where to go, as I was just a noob. I walked around the village until I found myself in an isolated area where no one was visible. I thought I went to a bad place that have high level monsters, just to find a really huge monster jumping from a hill. I looked at it to see it''s stats, it said:- Angry Bull (Elite Monster) Lv.7 12,000/12,000 It was a level 7, Elite Monster! So I read about different monster types. There are Normal Monsters which have average stats, then Elites which have higher stats, then King, then Epic, Then Lord, Then Legendary... I saw the maximum rank of my Passive Skill, so I think that Mythical Monsters exist too! The Angry Bull fell from the hill and disappeared. I went near the are where it fell to see that 16 Copper coin dropped, not just that, but a weird looking crossbow was dropped too! Horn Crossbow (Uncommon) Requirements: Level: 0 Stats: Atk: 5 Stability: 4% Special ability of the Horn Crossbow: Crit+1 It looked decent, since my Starter Knife wasn''t even ranked Common, and it had only 1 atk and that was it! Also it was a ranged weapon, so I am sure it will be handy to use it to find some loophole in the game! Just as I was thinking about a loophole, another Angry Bull Spawned at the top of the hill. I smiled understanding that I found the first loophole. I searched in my inventory and thank god I found 5 starter arrows which didn''t even increase the damage of the hit or had anything good attacked to it. I put an arrow on the Horn Crossbow, and aimed at the Angry Bull in top of the hill but missed badly! My aim was really bad, but then heard -Ding, Lucky Strike activated! You have hit the target!- I was so excited to hear the voice, I was super lucky! 5% activated from first try! -2 appeared at the top of the Angry Bull''s head, making me take it''s agro. It rushed toward me then fell from the hill just to land next to me losing all its health dying. A notification was heard.Stolen novel; please report. -You have killed a target 7 levels above your level! 140% extra EXP! Received 564 EXP- There were so many items that dropped, one of them is a bag with an increased capacity. From what I can see in my screen, it says that the more STR your character have, the more bags your character can carry. Starter Bag have 20 slots (equipment that are equipped right now don''t take slots of the bag). This new bag has 24 slots, and the good thing that you can equip 5 bags from the start, so I can carry up to 44 things with me right now! Another thing that was dropped was Common level 3 gloves, it had a set effect, if I collected all of them, I can get the set effect of increase in Critical Damage. Last thing I got was 20 arrows called Paralyzing Arrow. It can paralyze the target, which is a great effect, I am pretty sure this thing will be sold for a really high price if I decided to sell it, but I will just use it here to hunt more Angry Bulls! Unlike others who spent those 3 hours grinding level 1 or 2 monsters, I spent them in the loading screen. out of my 24 arrows left, I was able to kill 9 more Angry Bulls. My bad aim got better, and I already completed the full set for the gloves! I wore them and even dropped my starter equipments since they were too weak! I think I am now the highest level player in this game! I am level 3 already, while the highest level around maybe almost level 2. Now that I have no arrows, I think I will try to find my way back! I don''t want to waste my recall scroll that I got from the Angry Bulls! I started to wander around, until I found a silver colored chest under a waterfall. It looked cool, so I tried to open it. I had 3 lock picks, and had gained a skill called Lock Picking Mastery (Beginner) from the Angry Bulls by luck. So I tried to my luck with the chest trying lock picking, until I heard a scary voice near me! It was Waterfall Leopard! Waterfall Leopard ( King Class Monster ) Lv.18 140,000/140,000 It screamed at me so I was trying to take my lock pick out and run, just for me to luckily open the chest, and a notification came. -You have unlocked an Intermediate Rank lock with your Beginner Lock Picking Mastery! And I knew I was dead anyway, so I quickly threw the pick lock that I used, and it somehow hit the Waterfall Leopard dealing 1 damage. It was just a second away from catching me, but a boulder fell from the waterfall and smashed the Waterfall Leopard one shotting a level 18 King Class monster! Received 7258 EXP- -Congratulation you are now level 4!- I leveled up 4 times in a small amount of time! which means that I have 12 unassigned stats! Level: 4 EXP: 2575/11,216 STR: 2 INT: 0 VIT: 0 AGI: 8 DEX: 2 CRT: 0 Free points: 12 I added 6 to my AGI, 4 to my INT, and 2 to my DEX. AGI to increase my attack speed and movement speed. INT so if I got a skill and needed some Mana or even Magical Attack or Magical Defense! While DEX was to increase my chances to actually hit something when using a bow or a crossbow! Now it was time to check the drops! ... ... ... First Drop was a Mythical Ranked drop called Cliff Hanger Kun! Chapter 4: Going through a trial, upgrading my Passive skill! I checked what fell from the Waterfall Leopard first. I found that he dropped a level 15 Uncommon Shoes, it wasn''t anything great. It''s stats was at least 4 times as useful as my level 3 Common Shoes, and it had the weird name... I don''t know if the creator of this item was on drugs or what, but this special ability is dumb... Can''t I just jump? Why would I need this shoes? Unless it actually slip people and force them to fall to their death! I looked and there was another drop, which was shining. I looked at it, and found that it was actually a Rare drop! My first Rare drop! It was considered a ''weapon'', which was a glove with claws on them. I read the stats and was shock, it looked cool! (Bleed, making the target bleed make them lose 1% of their health each second for 5 seconds, might differ in value depending on the enemy''s stats.) Special Ability: 10% chance to Hit twice while attacking once. It was so amazing! I am the happiest... I just need to make my stats suitable for it! I then looked toward the items that dropped from the silver chest to find a rusty book. I grabbed it and it was actually an active skill! Arrows of Magic (Active Skill) (Rare) (Upgradable until Epic) Cost: 3MP This skill allow you to shoot your bow or crossbow without needing real arrows. Can be used with arrows to give a buff to the damage dealt. Now, this is a really helpful skill! If I got it while hunting those Angry Bulls, I am pretty sure I would have never came here! After using the Skill Book and gaining the skill, an old man scared me saying "Hoo, you killed the Waterfall Leopard! You must be a strong adventurer! Would you mine trying a small trial?" I looked at the old man trying to see his level, but to my shock, his stats were like this Old man Lv?? I won''t lie it freaked me out, since his level is hidden he is probably one strong old man. I said after thinking for a minute "What do I gain from the trial?" He replied "You are a promising young man, so I will give you a choice. I will let you choose on what difficulty you want to take the trial on, as for the prizes, they are secret!" I smiled at him with full confidence and said "Can I try the hardest difficulty?... Ahhh Also, do you have Mana Potions? Just as it started, the world disappeared, and I entered to a strange world that is painted red. So many skeletons started rising, all of the using daggers as weapons, and were level 4 just like me! I took out my Horn Crossbow and started firing randomly at them. The trial was finally named. Trial of Resolve (Hell) Kill 10,000 Thief Skeletons to clear this trial! 3/10,000 I was shocked... They want me to kill 10,000... I killed 3 already and got no EXP at all! The reward better be worth it, otherwise I will be a really unlucky one! I continued using my Arrows of Magic. When I feel like I am being caught or my MP is depleting, I run far away to drink a mana potion, or just to keep myself away from them. This continued until I had no mana potions left. I still needed to kill more than 8,000 Skeletons! Since I was moving around them in a circle, I started grabbing the daggers that the dead Skeletons drop, and then started throwing them at the Skeletons, dealing decent damage, even if it was not a 1 hit kill like my arrows, it was still good enough to complete the mission. I spent 6 hours of doing the same thing over and over again! It was so boring, but I am finally done! The reward better be worth it! Ah... I also got my Passive Skill upgraded near the end! Demon Hunters are considered nobles because of how many bad demons they killed. Extra information: Demon Hunter is the Job with the highest potential that Thieves can change into. There is only one Demon Hunter -Upgradable- in the world! Requirements: Level: 5 Thief Now that was shocking... To have the this token is like the game giving me the best Job for thieves for free! But I needed to be level 5... I wished those skeletons would give me EXP, then I would be level 5 by now! What is more strange is that I somehow killed 4 of those without hearing the notification... Or was my body here the whole time while I was fighting the Skeletons in the Trial of Resolve? I wonder how much extra stat points does Legendary Job give! I allocated my 20 free points adding 16 to my AGI boosting it all the way to 30, and 4 to my STR making it reach 5! Now I fulfilled the conditions to wear Waterfall''s Discipline at level 5! I just need to level up now! I heard a lot of notifications telling me that I didn''t fulfill the requirements to wear my current equipment, and how they are being unequipped right now. But with me double jumping again, they all missed, and not just missed, they fell from the cliff. But how could this be the end of my luck? As I was thinking of that, the Assassins who were in stealth appeared next to me preparing to backstab me, but thankfully I was saved by a Mage who casted Magic Bind just to miss me and hit the poor assassin closest to me. What is even luckier is that the archer who are supposed to target me, actually injured most of the assassins with their arrows! With all of the assassins in an awkward position, I swooped all of them with my claws. The swordsmen tried to stop me but failed to since they somehow attacked the assassins instead of attacking me! The group of ''pro gamers'' looked like noobs, and I just played like an average person... Before knowing I had already killed all of the assassins. But my luck didn''t reach the peak yet, it did reach the peak the moment 4 Angry Bulls spawned on the cliff and started slaughtering their priests and clerics! All the backline were killed by the Angry Bulls! Those who tried to run were chased by the Angry Bulls, which counted as a good distraction for me to run away. I got away luckily and checked my Chain Quest progress! _____ Chain quest- Kill 10,000 players and absorb their souls! 279/10,000 While undertaking this quest, any player killed by you will suffer a harsher penalty. Mine was unnamed Village... I activated the quest on the map and started walking toward Ironsteel Village to see what I could do! While walking toward the Village I opened up the forums. The top post had a video on it showing how the Alliance of Assassins and the Gaming Martial were blaming each other for me slipping away. Some of them even tried to taunt me to go back and fight with them. I added a reply in the end of the post saying "If any of you want to have a fight! Meet me tomorrow! Tomorrow I will give you all a location and a time, those who are late won''t be able to see me, but those who come on time, I will fight you all to death!" I closed the forum knowing that my reply will stir an outrage, but I don''t care right now! Now it was time to find a way to take out Ironsteel Village! Chapter 9: Job Upgraded! Demon Slayer! I continued following the map. On my way I found a strange huge mountain... I checked the map to see that this mountain was actually near Ironsteel Village! I am not an idiot... I am pretty sure that this mountain could have something to do with the quest, so I went to climb the mountain just to find a cave, so I went inside of it. Going inside the cave I found a lot of spiders, but thankfully I got stealth! With stealth, I am pretty sure that as long as I don''t touch those spiders'' silk traps, I won''t be exposed! I walked deeper and deeper into the cave... Until I found something special! A huge spider was laying it''s eggs... No, a lot of spiders were laying their eggs! I wondered for a moment if I should throw some bombs but went against it at the end. I kept on walking deeper into a cave... The cave started becoming hotter and hotter, until at some point the spiders started to have fire on them... I think they are special type of spiders! I kept moving deeper and deeper to the deepest point! It was a 30 minutes of slow walk in total until reaching this point! I found the Spider Queen, a real Arachne! I looked at her stats and it showed as:- Arachne (Epic Class Monster ) Lv.45 7,200,000/7,200,000 She actually looked beautiful... at least the upper top of her! Before I could finish admire her looked she looked at me and shouted "Despicable humans! We had an agreement!" Once I heard her, I was scared shitless, so I started running, while she started chasing me. I didn''t care about my Small Electric Bombs right now... All what I cared about is to escape, so in order to kill the small spiders that blocked my way, I threw bombs at them! I kept on running while the Arachne and her spiders kept following me... I leveled up twice from throwing my bombs at the spider eggs which enraged the Arachne even more! I was so lucky! All the damage I received was 239! Which left me with 1 HP! so scary! I exited the cave followed by a huge army chasing after me! I knew this was my only chance to destroy Ironsteel Village, so I led all those monsters to the boarder of the village. As I approached the village, I passed by so many players that got killed by the spiders, those players numbered in hundreds! There was even a guild that is doing an expedition, with approximately 500 members, most of them were killed by the Arachne getting one shot, while those who were left got killed by the spiders. I looked toward the village to see that their village wall is under construction and that they were going to be upgraded to a town soon, yet unluckily with the Arachne following behind me, it entered inside the village and lost track of me because of my stealth! I ran away from the village waiting outside to see what happens next. The village was now in ruins, and all the poor players that respawned in the village after being killed outside, were killed another time, but are now respawning in another places because this village was no more.
