Sakura Next day -Ari is already in school, sitting at her desk- (A-inner mono)im so stupid. That damn Sakura toast flew out of her mouth and slapped my face while she and I were trying to get into the school gates before being tardy. Oh whyyy did I decide to sleep in!? I could¡¯ve avoided this toast burn) -Ari glares at Sakura.- -Sakura glances over- smiles waving hi- -ari sighs, puts on a smile and waves back- ¡ª¡ª-during lunch (S)Ari you promised! You pinky promised that you will take me around to the market today!¡± Sakura reminded Ari. (A-regretful) ¡°ah, yes. I would never forget such a thing! Um¡­ where do you want to meet?¡± (S)¡°uh...I don¡¯t really know where anything is, do you think I can meet you at the bus station?¡± (A)mouth full of food nods ¡°yesh¡± -Sakura smiles with glittery admiring eyes- (A-inner mono) this is why I don¡¯t want any friends¡­ ¡ª¡ª After school at bus station -Ari waits patiently for Sakura, Sakura''s late- (A-inner mono) this girl either got lost or killed on the way here. That girl really is clingy. -spinning in her spinny chair- I do have other friends than Sakura, it''s just we have a silent agreement that our time after school is sacred and personal. That''s all we introverts ask for and if we are up to it, on weekends we will spend like an hour together. Sakura is definitely an extrovert, she may not look like it but once she''s comfortable around you then she unleashes. -sigh, ari stops spinning and is a bit dizzy- -phones buzzes and ari picks it up- -its the message saying she got in: congratulations on winning the lottery. A representative will be coming to meet with you shortly¡±) -stares at the screen for a long time with her face (¡Ñ_?¡Ñ) Ari closes her phone, throws it on her bed, pauses, then goes back to get the phone and sits back down. -Ding Dong- Ari¡¯s mom: ¡°ARI SOMEONES AT THE DOOR¡± -ari slowly get up- scene of her back facing reader-pushes open her door and fucking sprints like her ass is onn fire- (A)¡±Mom get Dad! This is urgent!¡±-says this while she is running- -Ari takes a deep breath and opens the door- -In front of her is a cleanly trimmed man in a suit with the Volkov emblem. His face is etched with a pro smile and he is ready to do business- (Suit) ¡°Hello Ms. Tanaka, I presume you have gotten the email? May I come in?¡± Ari:¡±uh yes-¡± Ari¡¯s mom: ¡°Ari what''s so important? Your dads in the bathroom¡± -Ari¡¯s mom spots the ap- ¡°oh¡± (suit):¡°Good Afternoon Mrs. Tanaka, I am here to officially admit Ari into the Volkov Academies inclusivity program.¡± Ari¡¯s mom stares at the guy and then fixes her hair in a hurry ¡°I hope ARI didn¡¯t cause you any trouble? She tends to do these things a lot that I just gave up. Of course the one day it''s real, I look like this! Hahaha..¡± Ari face palms mentally (Suit): ¡°No it is totally fine, would you like me to wait for your husband to finish before we start?¡± -Aris mom soul leaves her body- ¡°ah yes, sorry about that! She will be taking classes with our students at our beginning level. These are our lowest rank individuals, which in turn means less risk to Ari. They have been informed that a normal student will be joining them so you don''t have to worry¡± -Smiles at ari- (Suit) The rep of the begginers dorm will greet you and show you around the first day, you will meet your teachers, andthe principal themselves will welcome you after all that is done.¡± (Suit) -looks at Ari¡¯s parents- ¡°In this contract¡± -pulls out a glittering piece of paper and a fancy fountain pen- (A-inner mono) And I thought Sakura was extra. (suit) It states that we will be protecting Ari¡¯s safety, privacy, and schooling, along with acknowledgement that you are willing to let Ari be in our care for a years time¡± -Ari¡¯s parents stare at each other, then stare at Ari- (Aris mom) ¡°wow, Ari, are you sure you want to do this? This is quite a jump from your daily life I¡¯m worried that you¡¯ll get homesick an-¡± (A) ¡°Mom.., Dad. You already know my answer. I¡¯ve kept my grades, helped you around, and have never broken a rule. This is the one and only time I will ask something of you guys. All i want is to experience a different life than my average one¡± -serious but puppy dog face- (A-inner mono) -look of defeat- I want to vomit from saying all that. Welcome Ari to our first ever inclusion program, we will be happy to learn from you as well as teach you many new things.¡± -Ari nods vigorously, you can see the excitement in her eyes.- (Suit ) on our behalf, we will be sending you a ride to pick you up in a month''s time. (school is on an island that''s like as big as a city but like its on an island) -good byes and suit leaves) -Ari and her parents are silently standing in the living room with blank expressions- (Ari¡¯s mom) do you guys want chicken or fish for dinner? Goodluck doesnt last chap 3 Ari¡¯s Bedroom (A) -laying on bed- How am I supposed to tell sakura about this? She really wanted it so bad. -ari massages her temples- (A) When the fucking one good thing happens to me, i cant even enjoy it without the bad thing happening¡± (A) she did say that no matter who got in she will be happy¡­ Ugh I just feel so uncomfortable¡± -sigh- (A) well¡­ I am kinda excited... Pansy...I know, but for some reason I don¡¯t feel very good about this(two ari¡¯s talking to herself above her head maybe) (S) ARI!¡± -sakura waving from a distance- -Transition to Both girls are at the mall, getting some drinks- (ari is nervous behind sakura, preparing herself to tell sakura about her adventures with the suit man and how her horrible luck somehow lifted for this one moment)- (A) ¡°So Ari, what''s up?¡± (A) ¡°the sky¡­.(pause her awkwardly laughing(really over the top laughing)... Well um sakura I have to tell you something¡± (S) ¡°oh? Did you get a boyfriend!?¡± Ari: (¡Ñ_?¡Ñ) ¡°No no no, it¡¯s completely different from that¡± -Sakura tilts her head question marks (chibi look)- (A) um.. Sakura remember last time when we went to the market? And¡­ you saw that ad?¡± (S) ¡°yes, what about it?¡± -Ari visibly sweating- (A)Well you see.. I go-¡° -BAM *EXPLOSION SOUND*- -Something crashed in the middle of the mall. The mall is like the ones that have shops in a circle and the middle you can see all the levels. - (A)¡±what the f-.. Sakura are you alright?¡± -Ari spots Sakura standing still in a cloud of smoke. Her face is wide eyed and it¡¯s dramatic. She¡¯s the center of attention. Her eyes are contrasted with surprise. Staring at something in the cloud of dense smoke- (A) -runs to sakura- ¡±Hey Sakura, we have to leave. It¡¯s too dangerous for us. The safety bunker is right below the mall. Come on¡± (S) Ari dramatic(she looks like super serious not even looking at ari but like at the goop of smoke) (A) Come on Sakura!(pullin on her clothes in a comedic way) (S) Ari..If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Covering his body. When you stare at them u go in a trance. Ari looks horrified.- (A) Sakura come on! This isn¡¯t safe, this really isn¡¯t. I know I¡¯m ugly but I¡¯m too ugly to die right now! -Sakura looks like she¡¯s in a trance. The figure is slowly stepping towards them and stops directly looking at Sakura with his main eye- (S) he...HE KILLED MY PARENTS. MY FAMILY. HE TOOK THEM AWAY FROM ME, IN FRONT OF MY EYES. -Ari has a shocked face looking back and forth from Sakura and eye man.- (A-inner mono) you¡¯ve got to be kidding me -a pale ari (not quite ghosty)- -Now all the eyeballs are slowly turning to look at Sakura. Ari is completely ignored.- (S) -taking step forward- GIVE THEM BACK! -Tears coming out of her eyes. Making a fist- (Oculus) -mystic voice cause he be eyes- Ah¡­ the little girl I managed to miss. Oh, my poor eyes are getting old (Oculus)¡±well you see, my eyes have been itching to finish the job. You know, I can¡¯t smudge my record of leaving no one alive. Hmm¡­, oh! how about this, because you are the one that got away, let¡¯s make u my minion, seeeee you don¡¯t have to die¡± (A) (¡Ñ_?¡Ñ) (A-inner mono) what in the hell is he saying. Imma poke all his eyes. (S) -now trembling with anger- You! I WILL NEVER BE YOUR SLAVE (Oculus) -laughs- Says you, your nothing but a normal helpless girl. What¡¯s better is that you don¡¯t have any means of protecting yourself to a Demi(god?) class like me!¡± -Sakura realizes that. And her pupils constrict. She makes a clenching fist in anger- (S-inner mono) why me, why! If only I had super powers. My family would be here and this piece of scum would be wiped out. (S) ¡°ILL OBLITERATE YOU¡± (Oculus) Don¡¯t worry your family is here watching you, my my what beautiful eyes your brother has -you can now see the black cloud starting to surround the girls. Ari is still forgotten in the background- -Sakuras face is struck with the realization that some of they eyes facing her are made of her family- (A-inner mono) what kind of main story plot is this shit. Wait. Ewww are those eyes from his victims? -comedic looks of disgust) -Ari tries to move but she can¡¯t- -Sweat started dribbling down her face. (A-Inner Mono) of course something bad happens right after a good thing -V-school daydream behind her- -Ari hears a weird attention grabbing sound. She looks over to see the Oculus is closer.- -Ari almost lets out a scream (@&$!)- -Sakura also can¡¯t move, she grits her teeth.- -Oculus¡¯s eyes starting growing, enlarging and multiplying. He looks like a vine of eyes and his big cyclops eye is in the middle bigger than others. - -Ari can¡¯t look away. She¡¯s never seen something like this before. Slowly it starts morphing. Morphing into a gigantic eye above the cyclops one eye. The pressure in the room feels heavy. Really heavy. Ari could barely breathe and she wasn¡¯t even the center of the attack. The attack was all directed to Sakura- -Sakura is staring at the eye like she¡¯s hypnotized- -Ari is in panic- -Then Oculus starts chanting some words and it is around the room like speakers. Flowing with a beat. Chanting- -Ari is trying to breathe but she feels like she¡¯s losing her consciousness. She looked at Sakura and saw something that shocked her. Sakura doesn¡¯t look affected. Even though she is still held in place. Her face went back to normal of her glaring at the cyclops man- (A-inner mono) man. If I¡¯m thinking correctly something happens to the main protagonist now.¡± -Oculus slowly reaches out his hand to touch Sakura''s eyes- (S) -gritting teeth- Don¡¯t touch me you monster! -He places a hand on Sakura''s eyes. Covering them. Sakura''s screaming self hushes down- -In the scene where a cyclops man is touching Sakura. The drawing should be of a translucent hand and Sakura''s eyes being tampered with. But something happens and the cyclops man realizes he cant break through to her consciousness.- (Oculus) What''s this? -The floor beneath Sakura shakes. Ari widens her eye in shock- -Cut scene to Sakura. Her hair starts levitating. Cyclops man steps back- (Oculus) ¡°oops¡­ that¡¯s not how it¡¯s supposed to go..¡± -Sakura is enveloped in the colors of red, blue, green, and gray. Sakura''s hair turns a vibrant pink, as pretty as the cherry blossoms outside. The colors of light slowly form into orbs. 4 orbs, that circle around Sakura. Sakura opens her eyes, Her eyes are split into multi colors, the colors of the orbs. (She looks epic)- -Ari notices that not only did her friend get powers but also 10x more beautiful. She looked like a goddess, a princess, a.. I don''t know!- -Ari gulped- (A-inner mono) I should get a job in fortune telling (S) ¡°you¡± -Ari was shocked all over, Sakura''s voice wasn¡¯t her nosy self but instead a song like voice- (ari¡¯s ghost slapping forehead) (S) you¡­ you deserve punishment for all the atrocities you have made! -Sakura''s orbs start modeling together and go into her chest. The temp in the room changes. She lets out a scream and huge ice shards start flying towards Oculus. It seems to be no limit, the ice shards keep coming. They are not small. It¡¯s gigantic.- -Ari is still stuck and foam is coming out of her mouth cause she¡¯s so scared- (S)¡°I will get justice for my family!¡± -Out of Sakura''s other hand, inferno flames engulf her delicate hands. She brings the hand up slowly, orbs start materializing behind her. Fireballs. She launches them not with the ice but directs them to go behind cyclops and double attack.- -A fireball comes close to ari. It singes the top of her head. Ari wants to cry.- (oculus) -smile- Little girl, at this stage you are too weak to fight me, I am a god. You are just a hatchling¡±. -Though some fireballs hit oculus stinging his eyes and a big shard breaks into his eye of eyes. He started laughing. (Oculus) When you become god, any powers below cannot affect you, wonderful right?¡± -Oculus¡¯ dead eyes fall off and in place of them more eyes grow. The eyes start covering him like a shield. Cyclops starts chanting. The eyes turn from normal looking into scriptures. Eyes behind the scripture eyes fly out of cyclops. And attack Sakura. They look like flying monster eyes and some of them have power beams ready to shoot- (A) shivers in fright of eyes -Sakura is ready. The ground rumbles and earth explodes out, creating a very sturdy barrier from the eyes. The eyes are stunned but start flying up and around the blockade. Sakura eyes turn light, eyes start shooting put behind the blockade. It was wind, Sakura made them fly away. The ones witch passed the wind got singed with fire or ice- -Oculus eyes widen- (S) ¡°I might be new, but that doesn¡¯t mean I can¡¯t defeat you! I¡¯ll become god one day and give you what you deserve you monster¡± she screams -Oculus laughs but knows that it¡¯s not time for battle. The HAF was coming. Oculus makes a bow- (Oculus) ¡°I¡¯m so sorry but it looks like we have company, I have to go!¡± (S) no you can¡¯t! -The last thing ari sees is a huge cloud of black spreading like fire. The black smoke was for cyclops to get away. Aris little human body however couldn¡¯t take anymore. She was at her limit barely surviving Sakura''s attacks. Sakura tried her best to clear out the smoke with her wind but her powers have been over spent. The wind holds up for a bit then it withers away.- (S) ¡°I''M GOING TO FIND YOU, JUST YOU WAIT! I''M GOING TO BE GOD¡± A: God..why? -Ari passes out- ¡ª¡ª Lets Begin In a hospital room (A mom) Ari, oh Ari. My child woke up! (A) shhh, ugh, just give me 5 more minutes!¡± (A parents) 0-0¡­.. -Ari mom then gets a light smack on her head. - (A mom) You spoiled girl! Your father and I have been awake for days watching you and this is how you treat us!?¡± (A) -eyes shoot open- ¡°A couple days?¡± (A mom) YES A COUPLE OF DAYS. Do you know what we had to go through? Learning that your daughter was attacked by a level 8 and in the hospital. You should thank Sakura. If she wasn¡¯t there saving you, you would have been dead!¡± (A) -slowly sits up- wait wait wait. I don¡¯t remember what happened after the attack what do you mean?¡± (A mom) -hands on hip- the only thing you need to know is that Sakura has saved you. (A) where¡¯s Sakura? (A mom) since you were hibernating these past days we had to thank her on your behalf. She told us to tell you that she has been transferred into volkov academy. She started a day ago. Can you believe it, she¡¯s already in the higher ranks because her powers are wonderful .... (A-inner mono) wait the hell, I mean I understand that getting powers equal volkov academy but she could have checked by.. I did try to get her away but I guess that her destiny had other plans¡­. She also must be busy, new school and all¡­¡± -Ari mom brings Ari out of monologue- (A mom) good thing you became Sakura¡¯s friend. We have god''s blessing on us through her protection. Since your going to the school for a year, find her and say thank you (A-inner mono) oh shoot I completely forgot about that! (A) ¡°yes ma¡¯am¡± (A-inner mono) Curse that cyclops man and Sakura''s new power, I have a horrible headache now. ¡ª¡ª- Ari alone in her hospital room -Ari didn¡¯t notice at the hospital because she was laying down and sleeping but she actually is covered in bruises/wounds- -Ari in her room applying some cream on her body- -The reason for the bruises is due to cyclops man pressure hold- (A-inner mono) I even have singed hair -Ari looks at her head and tears stream down- (A-inner mono) I wish I had Sakura¡¯s pretty hair -Ari sighs- Ari back at home after a few weeks(because of her injuries she stayed at home)Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site. -Ari painfully gets on her bed slowly. (Disembodied voice) Principal Volkov created the academy for the younger generations to get the proper nurturing for them to grow and succeed with their powers. The turn out rate is successful too. All of the students graduate and are more likely to become a demi or even a god after. (A-inner mono) But¡­ it¡¯s expensive as heck and the only scholarships are if you are OP like Sakura -Ari stares at her ceiling- I¡¯m not gonna lie, I¡¯m scared. I guess what I saw during Oculus and Sakura''s scuffle really gave me a reality check. ...it also made me realize even more how powerless I am¡­ (A-inner mono) When I get to Volkov, I really have to watch myself, they might not be happy having a human come in. The barriers and force fields are very tough to get into for a normal human, I had to use extra velocity -Ari slowly getting up, wobbling- (A) It¡¯s fine. I¡¯m fine -Ari takes a deep breath and looks around. She is awestruck. She is on an island connecting to the huge gigantic volkov academy. The island she is on has a floating orb and inscriptions around the Suit explains this is the spawning point if anyone falls off or something happens- (A) (¡Ñ_?¡Ñ) (Suit) this is the great volkov academy -Ari takes another look. The school was gigantic and intimidating- (School description) but the garden in front of it was well taken care of and beautiful. Ari could see many islands attached to the main school building. (Suit) this is where you will be taking classes. The other islands are power class focused. There are a few academic classes here in the main building that you are going to take. -Ari nods- -Suit starts walking forward to the island- (A-inner ono) how am I supposed to get across with no bridge!? (Suit) -As if the ap man was reading her mind- the bridge is made out of spiritual mana, all of them are. Once you enter the academies boundary you can see them. It¡¯s defense against intruders. Just follow me (A-inner mono) intruders!? -Ari carefully follows behind the suit, stepping the same steps he takes- -Ari¡¯s soul almost leaves her body when she looks down while crossing. All she sees is clouds above clouds above clouds. The drop would definitely kill her- -Ari rushes the last steps and takes a deep breath when she reaches the main ground- (Suit) now look behind you, you can now see our bridges -Ari turns around and is bombarded with a mystical power filled looking bridge. It¡¯s glowing so students don¡¯t miss it- (A) Wow -Ari gasped it looked like silky waves of blue- (Suit) smiles, yes this is all created by our lovely principal Feodora Volkov. You will be meeting them soon, but before that, a rep from the student council will be showing you around. I believe she is also your dorm mate. (A-inner mono) -sweat bullets- right I have to share a room. -The suit takes Ari over to the middle of the garden in the front entrance of the school- -As ari walks behind the man she can see an outline of a girl kneeling down doing something with the flowers in front of her. Vines all around her- (Suit) ah there you are Miyu -Miyu whips her head back really fast then faceplants into her many vines- (A) Are you okay? (M) Ha ha ha¡­ im fine im fine- sweat drops in the air -Miyu stands up brushing herself off in the process- (M) -she''s nervous obviously- h-hi im Miyu, your dorm mate and guide i hope we can be friends! -Ari¡¯s taken aback by the suddenness- (A) uh.. Yeah (Suit) ¡°miyu, I trust you can show Ari around?¡± (M) yes -nodding ferociously- -Suit smiles his business smile, then ports away- (A)... (M)... Wuss -Ari starts awkwardly laughing and miyu joins along- (M) sorry -blushes- welcome to Volkov Academy! -Miyu looks at aris luggage- (M) let¡¯s go to the dorms first to get you settled in! (M) don¡¯t worry it will be just us, all the students are in class. (A) Oh okay -relieved- -Miyu slowly guides them through the maze of plants- (M) this is resident housing -points to another gigantic island that was hiding behind the current gigantic island she¡¯s on- -The one difference is the residence housing was a huge island made up of islands. Each level is a circle of islands- (M) the higher your rank is the higher up your residence is -She points at the island that is level with the mana bridge. It was a very nice set of dorms. ¡°This is our beginner class housing we will be staying there- (M) The island above is your middle class and the one above it is the advanced. On the very top, is where the warriors and fighters are. (A-inner mono) daddy''s money? -Ari and miyu cross the mana bridge to the beginner islands. It had very modest looking and comfortable dorms. Two islands are the girls dorm and the ones across it are the boys dorms. The mana bridges connect all the island together- (A) how do people get up to the other islands? (M) ah, Um most of them use their powers to go up, but the ones who don¡¯t have them just us the portals -Miyu points at the mini island with the same looking orb as the entrance- (A) oooo (A-inner mono) duh of course -Miyu takes ari to the furthest island. Goes inside, nice looking common room,then on the first floor, the first room.- (M) This is where we will be staying. Since I¡¯m part of the council -smiles- I have to take the first room if anyone needs me. Sorry for the inconvenience (A) no it¡¯s totally cool. Anything is fine with me -Miyu walks Ari to the dorm, smiling- (M) the doors are connected to our school power system, so when you want to come in you can and it will be unlocked for you. This is so we prevent students from mixing genders and individual privacy -Ari nods- -Miyu hastily opens the door- -Ari is hit with plants. Literal plants. They were everywhere. The room was a jungle, a jungle of plants. Different types of flowers and vines and just plants- (A) (¡Ñ_?¡Ñ) (M) sorry about the mess! It¡¯s hard to keep them under control, they are excited to meet you (A) h-hi (A-inner mono) they have feelings!? Well I did read somewhere plants had feelings but like¡­ right. I¡¯m at a school for powers (M) this will be your half of the room. Sorry about all the plants again.. it¡¯s just I¡¯ve never had a roommate before so I let them take the space (A) it¡¯s totally fine, they¡¯re good company.. (M) -beams- right! That¡¯s what I say to everyone but they don¡¯t believe me!¡± -Ari walks over to her bed that is barely visible. Starts unpacking. While unpacking she talks to miyu cause miyu is loitering around behind her- (A) miyu if you don¡¯t mind me asking, what powers do you have? (M) I¡¯m from the line of Flores. All of us have gone to this school and it really depends on the person, but for me I like to focus on potions and brews. It¡¯s a given that the Flores will have plant communication given so we can decide what to do after that (A) whoa, that¡¯s really cool. What type of potions do you make? (M) -visibly excited- plant growth and strengthening potions. Healing potions too of course, and even though I don¡¯t like it I have some potions to defend myself with (A-inner mono) right. don¡¯t mess with miyu -After unpacking in the barely movable room, miyu took her to the main volkov academy island- (A) Where is everyone? (A-inner mono) not that i don''t mind (M) The school is currently taking a trip to Ormeadow for cultural experience. (A) Oh no! I¡¯m sorry I made you miss it :( (M) -awkward smile its fine, it wouldn''t have been much fun alone anyways Ari: oh..okay -They arrive at the front of the school and Miyu leads Ari into the building. The doors are magical like in the dorms- -When ari stepped inside she was marveled. This definitely did not look like what she expected. She thought it was going to be super preppy and obnoxious but all she can see are doors. Like they are well spaced and there¡¯s decor that looks too expensive to touch around here and there but it¡¯s just doors- (A-inner mono) what¡¯s the need of the outrageously large building!? -Miyu noticed aris confusion- The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. (M) Ah! This is the entrance. I know it looks intimidating with all the doors but it¡¯s a way of organizing! The doors lead to different spatial rooms within the school. Just think of the school to be its own dimension. The principal did this so there wouldn¡¯t be problems if someone¡¯s power goes out of hand (A) ooooh (M) you can only enter the doors that are your rank. So you don¡¯t have to worry about going to the wrong class. (A) that is awesome Inner monologue: I don¡¯t have to go to the embarrassment of going to the wrong class. Phew -Miyu smiles and shows Ari to her classes. The building is made up of levels and levels of doors. Different shapes and sizes- (M) all your classes will be on the first floor except for scriptures and incantations (A) scriptures and incantations!? I don¡¯t have powers though.. (M) oh don¡¯t worry, you will be observing the class sense it¡¯s a low level magic class. They will give you runes created with magic within them to defend yourself against small things. (A) really!? (A-inner mono) okay now that¡¯s cool! -Miyu takes Ari to her different classes which include the history of magic. Power 101 a course to explain what different powers are. Last but not least the LOYO(living on your own class) and media- -Miyu explains that this is training for after school if we come to deal with this. It¡¯s a required class for beginners- -Ari nodded- -As they walk the hallways of doors miyu tells Ari that she doesn¡¯t have to worry about high rank students since their classes are in separate islands. The only time I see them is either a assembly or grabbing a meal if the higher ranks choose not to have their catered food- -Miyu leads Ari to the door across the main door. The only door that¡¯s not the entrance in the first level- (M) this is the dining hall. -She opens the door and Ari is baffled. There are floating tables in front of her face. Miyu explains that they cater from different planets and switch weekly so it wouldn¡¯t get boring- (A) h-how do I get onto the tables..? -Miyu takes Ari to a circle in the middle and explains that when the dining hall is in use, the circle glows and tables will fly down to the people on the platform- (A) um¡­ how do I get my food? Seeing that there is no staircase (M) when the dining hall opens there will be stairs leading to the open booths to grab your food -Ari nods but is overwhelmed- -Cut scene to miyu taking Ari outside- (M) the islands that are floating near us are for the specific ranks and their powers. Each students gets a teacher for a mentor. We will be under Dr. Geoffery(pronounced how it is spelled: Gee-off-ry) -Looking out to the islands Ari holds in her laughter Geoffery¡­- (M) yes! He is wonderful. A god of potions. So talented! You can see why I¡¯m working under him. His potions are top quality and very rich! The amount of power Dr G has is amazing and so admirable.. -Ari looks at miyu vomiting out paragraphs in amazement- (A-inner mono) she was so quiet before¡­ -Ari nods- (M) he¡¯s on the trip right now to gather some reagents for his weightless potion. He hopes that normal people can use it to get around more efficiently. If you don¡¯t mind, can we try it on you? It will be fine and¡­. -Miyu keeps on talking- -Ari zones out- ¡ª¡ª Ari and miyu are now back in their dorm room -Miyu is explaining as much info she can spew out about the school- (A-inner mono) she doesn¡¯t stop talking -But then miyu said something that grabbed Ari¡¯s attention- (M) the rank difference is crazy here..¡± (A) wait what!? what do you mean? (M) -happily explaining- The higher ranked students, especially warrior and fighter, are prospective students to become Demi¡¯s or even gods. We even have legacies here, although, they don''t stay here because they think -Miyu looks around and whispers- the lower ranks are not a great influence. -sitting back with a disappointed look talking normally- They just come here for principal Feodoras exclusive class of invisible magic (A) invisible magic? (M) -nods- It¡¯s a very hard class that apparently teachers you how to enhance your powers by using the spacial mana around you (A) -confused- Spacial mana? (M) Oh yea, it¡¯s the energy that is left over after someone utilizes their powers. You can¡¯t exactly see it hence the name invisible magic. Feodora is a top god and a master of invisible magic so learning under the principal will give you a definite advantage (A) wow that seems advanced. What about Legacies? What is that (M) they are 5 dynasties that control universes (A) ????? (A) there are dynasties that control the what!? (M) yes. They are the most powerful beings. Titan level. Very rare but scary. They have much control over anything and everything (A) -visibly baffled- This is the first time I¡¯ve ever heard of this (M) in the power committee they have a big standing because of their strength but usually they only deal with galaxy ending problems (A) (¡ä???¦Ñ???`) (M) you don¡¯t have to worry about them. We rarely see them. (A) nods her head but her soul has left her body (A-inner mono) what the hell, of course there is a group of impossibly strong beings. In every manga you¡¯ve read there always has been one! Duh Ari! (A-inner mono) I want to ask more questions¡­. -but she gets interrupted-0 (M) oh the thing is. There is this one student who recently arrived here that got into the invisible magic class. She¡¯s one of the two warriors in that class. Feodora only puts students that they know will become god level in the class. The turn out rate is 100% (A) new student? (M) she just transferred a month ago. She¡¯s super pretty and strong. She definitely has the goddess of luck on her side, literally! The goddess of luck apparently came down on her first day here to bestow her blessings! She also is already one of the top rank warriors. This school has never seen someone progress so fast! No wonder why the goddess of lu- (A) ...by any chance is the student''s name Sakura Nakamura?¡± (M) -surprised- : I didn¡¯t think the news would get out so quickly, but yes! That¡¯s her, she is well loved here! Sakura is very friendly, I¡¯ve even talked with her a few times during council meetings. She says hi to me everyday ....-switched whisper- No one has ever done that to me before -back to normal excitement- Oh! She also grabbed the attention of the legacies too. I mean no wonder, she does have an extremely rare elemental powers that, once she gets stronger, will definitely make her a top goddess when she can use all of them¡­ blah blah -Miyu goes on another splur- (A-inner mono) of course¡­ I¡¯m jealous. I can¡¯t stop myself from being jealous, I hate that I¡¯m jealous. I should be happy for Sakura because she really does deserve it. I mean...it is her story after all -Ari sighs audibly- (M) -stops talking and starts panicking- are you alright? Sorry if I¡¯m talking too much! I can stop and let you sleep (A) oh no it¡¯s nothing like that! I think the reality of my whole situation is starting to set in. I¡¯m nervous. (M) don¡¯t worry, as your friend I¡¯ll stick with you! I¡¯ve never had a human friend before it¡¯s super cool. -Ari smiles and thumps on her bed. The plants around her are swirling around getting into their resting places. The lavender plant start growing and entangles itself on aris night stand and bed frame and emits a very very soft purple glow that helps Ari fall asleep- (A) I¡¯m excited¡­ -Miyu checks on Ari who is ugly sleeping. Miyu smiles and gets on her bed. Miyu knows Ari is a good person because the plants trust Ari. These plants are sorta like a dog, it can sense a beings aura and find out if they are ill willed or simply okay. Miyu lays down. The vines take over her glasses and put them away and let her hair down. Then her plants entangle all near her and some one her like pets and fall asleep- ¡ª¡ª- In the really early morning (A) ACHOO -The plants, purposely might she add, tickled her nose. And¡­ THEY¡¯RE STILL TICKING HER- -Ari is mad but holds a stone Buddha face- (A) You guys are not gonna get me, I¡¯m one with myself -The plants give up and open a little pathway for Ari to get around. Ari sees miyu also getting up and yawning- (A-inner mono) wow she¡¯s really pretty. Of course it is volkov academy! -The vines give miyu her glasses and help her tie her hair- (M) sorry Ari if my plants woke you up. They are accustomed to getting up when the sun rises. (A) no it¡¯s fine. My phone doesn¡¯t really work here. It''s good to have a back up alarm. Thank you. The skirt fit nicely, the undershirt fit nicely, stocking nicely, and literally everything else. The only thing that¡¯s oversized to the max is the sweater vest. It hangs off of her arms. You would think that this would look cute on many girls but not on Ari- -Ari knew if Sakura wore something like this then she would be the eye candy but right now ari is currently in this situation. I look like a mole. -The plants, as if they were laughing, fiddled with aris hair and poked her- -Ari swats it away but the plants just easily avoid it- (M) -panicking- I apologize on behalf of the volkov academy! Everyone hushes down and stares at her. Rows and Rows of seats are available. There are floating lamps that are cute. Little fairy lights cover the place and huge stacks of books are everywhere. Nice to meet you, pardon me but I¡¯ve never seen a being without power before. -Ari still weirded out- (Dr G) thank you for agreeing to test out our experiments. What Miyu has said about you really gives me hope. (A-inner mono) um.. -Dr g quickly turns into the hut and walks in, miyu follows and Ari follows after miyu- -It¡¯s crammed inside the hut. Potion bottles, weird materials and regents. Eyeballs, plants, weird little creatures and pots- -Ari stares at the creature that looked like a morbidly gross human bird cross over. It turns around and hisses at her. Ari, at that second, lost her soul right then and there- (Dr G) they won¡¯t harm you, they are only babies -Ari soul comes back in but she¡¯s wary- (M) Dr Geoffrey... where are the other students? (Dr G) -face turned solemn with gray lines- they dropped the class because their materials started disappearing. They blamed each other on the trip and ended up leaving -sigh- (M) disappearing!? What do you mean? (Dr G) they will go out to gather the materials but after it is gathered it seemed to be disappearing right before they got to the classroom. Fair skin-. -He was struggling trying to carry everything so he was too busy to notice Ari- -Ari appears behind him and fucking creates a fist and starts whamming his head- (Kid) hey!? (A) -menacing tone- how dare you steal the fruits of our labor -She continues hitting him on the head. The kid drops all the runic barks out of shock. She explains to Ari that Dr G can refine materials with his magic because of the evolution of power. She explains that powers can level up many times, there is no limit except for the being holding it- (A-inner mono) so this power is an added bonus? -After the geodes, dr g went onto the runic barks. He looked at them suspiciously, then he shrugged and brought out a blender- (A) !? -Dr g put all the crystals and runic bark inside- (A) Dr. Geoferry, I don¡¯t think a blender will be strong enough... (Dr G) -looks confused- Blender? (A) :0 uh yea the thing you make drinks with... (Dr G) -looks confused- you can drink some potions too..? (A) uhhh... us humans also have something like that. He explained that it is the power given to the holder at birth? (Javier) -nods, looks around the room and asks- Do you know what types of base powers are out there? Can You tell the difference between a base power and an evolution? (A) -sweating- uh... um I guess not.. I know the elements fire, water, earth, and air are the most common¡­. (A) -looks down embarrassed- sorry I don¡¯t know how to tell the difference! -Javier plops back down on his cushion and gets out a piece of paper from his spatial storage. He also gets out a writing tool and everyone crowds around him. (Javier) Ari dear, you are lucky because I know the answer! -Ari nods her head but is confused still- -Javier draws a T table, writes base powers on one side and evolution on the others- (Javier) You are right, when you think of base powers, you think of elements. However, fire, water, air, and earth are not the only base elements out there. There is Light and Dark, electricity, spirit, galactic, etc.. the list goes on. So, there is no limit to what your base power can be, it''s just the base power is your stepping stone to unlock what true powers you actually have. Like Mr Toadler said, it depends on the person and their vitality and magic affinity. If you are strong enough then you can evolve your powers after training.. (A-inner mono) -with a look of confusion- training..? Javier picks up on that and explains (Javier) Power evolution can happen anywhere, but it is prefered if it happens to be in a closed training space. So, if you lose your control, there won''t be a big disaster. (A) How do you evolve? I get training but how do you know if you can? -Javier and the others look at each other and Igor speaks up- (Igor) There is still research being done on this subject but from what we have learned, it depends on how skilled you are. If you train everyday, getting hang of you base powers and connecting your affinity to the powers affinity then you will just know that you can achieve evolution because it will grant you access. But if you evolve without permission then you''re likely to die, since the power gives energy to the body for evolution and without it is hard for even a skilled hero to evolve and live. (Javier) Thank you Igor, I totally forgot about that. Never mind that! Once you are granted evolution you will mentally be taken to the power vault. Apparently that is where they find the best evolution for you based on our life and how talented one is. I don¡¯t know who they are but it''s like a job interview. They look through your application and give you a position. Once you get this power, you totally restore all your mana and power. (A) so basically you restart once you get our evolution. (Javier) -nods- But the thing is, when you are inside the power vault getting examined. You are utterly and completely defenseless, this is another reason why you should do it in a training dimension, basically anyone can attack you and you can''t defend yourself, it''s horrible and many heroes have fallen from the greed to get their evolution right away. (A) so can one get more than one evolution? (Teflon) -very sassy- Of course, are you dumb or something?! There are limitless evolutions, it''s just if you want that you have to be strong. I heard the Gods have insane evolution stats where they have evolved hundreds of times. You have to have the mana, luck, and talent to get it done! -Javier smacks Teflon on the back and explains to Ari- (Javier) Not every evolution is ability based, the evolutions that don¡¯t take you to the power vault but do restore you body are the buffs. The enhancements are used to increase you fighting stats or resistance. There can also be evolutions to have buffs to give to your teammates or to make it harder for your enemy. (A-inner mono) why does this sound like a video game (Javier) -as if he was reading her mind- It''s like a video game for humans. Do you know most video games are based on actual powerful beings?! Well, you can get multiple evolutions and multiple power evolutions and like Teflon said, it depends on your affinity and talent. (A) So hypothetically one can be stuck on base level and never get an evolution and another person can have infinite evolutions? (Igor) -nods- Yes, the ones who are stuck at base level no matter how hard they try are ranked as beginner since they do have a bit of power. As you get stronger it''s harder to get an evolution because the affinity you need is extensive. I¡¯ve heard that the titans have unlocked as many as they can because of their strong pool of magic. The original gods are said to be the strongest in this galaxy, but they still have to raise their affinity to get their evolution. They just have more time on their hands to do so. Also they have a limitless power supply, so it''s just the time factor and the unspoken limits that hold them back. (Javier) Wow Igor, where did you learn that? (Igor) I was witnessing the summoning of a powerful undead by my parents, so I got to ask a question when the contract was signed. (Javier) ooooo Ari: so, how do students here evolve? (Javier) -smacks Teflon again and explains- There is also an event that comes every year, depending on the rank you win in, you will get one on one training and materials to get you to have more affinity and connection to your power. If you earn a spot in a rank higher than yours, say beginner to advanced, then right away you get to take the classes for that rank and get exclusive training to reach the amount of evolution and power to stay at that level (A) When''s the competition going to start? The first couple tests are group tests and there is no fighting. However, after the second that''s when the fighting starts to get your place in the ranks. Each of the individual bottles were also filled with liquid of different shades of soft neon blue- -They head outside the hut and walk a distance away just in case- (Dr G) Okay Ari, you can pick to start -gestures towards potions- -Miyu looks super excited and gives Ari a thumbs up. Ari picks up the darkest neon blue colored potion bottle and unscrews the lid off. It didn¡¯t really smell like anything which relieved her. The potion was clear, no sediments, just a strange color. Ari looks up from the potion and she can see dr g and miyu looking at her expectantly- (A-inner mono) you got this! -The potion bottle wasn¡¯t big but more like a shot. She takes it quickly, a bit scared. It didn¡¯t really taste like anything but it had this sandy texture to it- -Nothing happens- (Dr G) ... (M)... (A) ..? (A) !!!! Guys I think I''m feeling it! Something is burning like fire throughout my body! (Dr G) -excited- like fire? Cold flames or hot flames? What was the taste like? Does it make you feel dizzy? (M) -concerned, checking Ari- Her vitals are fine (A) Uhh¡­ -Ari sprints accross to the trees and vomits neon blue liquid (M) .... -Miyu runs to help Ari, she pats Aris back until she¡¯s done barfing- (Dr G) -walking up to the girls- Well I guess I put too much mana in that batch, I should¡¯ve known humans can¡¯t handle this stuff. -Ari wipes her mouth and is dizzy. However she is determined and grabs the 2nd bottle and takes a quick shot. They all wait and Ari¡¯s stomach now starts rumbling. She couldn¡¯t help but feel embarrassed- -Ari was about to speak but it hit her, the need to vomit. This time she didn¡¯t have enough time to run and barf but instead she barfed right there- (M) ARI!!! (Dr G) -confused but not paying much attention to Ari- I wonder why this isnt working (Dr G) -softly- Ari the last two ones have less magic mixed in, do you think you can still continue? -Ari groans in protest but nods that she can do it. She worked too hard yesterday for this not to work! She took another vial and felt very heavy. She fell onto the ground struggling to get up- (Dr G) this one seems to be working a bit! The earth is pulling you to the ground instead of you pulling it up which is a problem... -Ari just face plants into the dirt and gave up trying to struggle and just laid there.
