《Red Moon: The Beginning》 Chapter 1 Part 1 Darkness shadows the room and whispers flow with the wind. A large sound struck through the air with a loudBOOM! This would wake anyone from their dreams and even their nightmares. Roxanne was an exception. She hardly woken up from the storm. Not even move a muscle except for her breathing. Roxanne''s chest was moving at a fast rate and it gets even more faster when lightning strikes. On those strikes, a flash of the past came across her mind. Memories that she wishes to forget and let go, but always there. Roxanne brows tighten when whispers have gotten stronger in each strike. As they became unbearable. A sudden sharp pain took over her body and a high whistle fill the room. Tears came down on Roxanne''s face and sweat began to form. Soon after the storm became a heartbeat to each memory. Ba bum.A house was engulfed in flames. Ba bum. "Go Roxanne run!" Ba bum.The sounds of the leaves of each step. Jumping loges and dodging trees to find a way out.Thud!Caught her leg in a trap and a large number of foot''s steps coming her way. Hands grab her by the shoulders and threw her in a cage. Ba bum. Lock in a cage nowhere to go. A woman walks towards her with a knife. "This would hurt me more than it hurts you," she said sweetly with a twisted smile on her face. She turned her back on me and hold the knife towards the man''s neck. "You shouldn''t tell her to run, honey," giggled the long-haired woman as she put pressure on the man''s neck. "No," whisper Roxanne, "I cannot let you do this." "Oh, sweetheart it already had begun." The woman throws the knife away and snaps the man''s neck with her bare hands. Roxanne cannot move. She cannot breathe, but the sound of the woman''s laugh makes her blood boils. When she opens her mouth it came as a scream of fear, anger, and destruction. Roxanne''s eyes fly open. The first thing in her mind was to attack. She fires at the first object that in her eyes sight. When Roxanne finally was aware of her surroundings. She looked at her hands a saw red fire. She calmed herself with deep breaths and slowly went to the restroom. When she got there, she put her hands on the sink and stared at herself in the mirror. It felt like it was a long time that she sees herself in the mirror. When she moved her long, but kinky hair from her face and see dark circles under her eyes. I must have got it from the nightmare, she thought. When she moves back to her room, she heard coming towards her room. Usually, people don''t visit her or most likely avoiding her because of her close off personality. When the door open, Roxanne froze and quickly, but quietly grabbed a knife under the from the nightstand. When the figure closes the door, their back was turned, and Roxanne swiftly moves towards the person. She swings the weapon towards what she believed is was its shoulder. The figure quickly dodges her attack and caught her hand to throw the knife away, but Roxanne did not stop there she grabs the arm and twists it so the person would fall on their knees. When they screamed Roxanne kneed them in the face. As she was standing over them, she was about to bring forth her power, but the voice telling her to stop. That voice, Roxanne thought. It sounds so familiar. "Roxanne it me," said the voice but this time Roxanne recognized the person voice. "Dawn," Roxanne said in surprise. Usually, Dawn would knock on her door before coming in, but its Dawn she basically does what she wants. "You know Roxanne, you could turn on the lights once you wake up," sassed Dawn. As she pulls herself up with her elbow only by a little, but enough to see Roxanne. Roxanne rolled her eyes and putting her weapon back on the night. She sits on her bed to get a good look at Dawn. She looks the same as always expect the busies on her nose that Roxanne cause. Dawn has this short rainbow hair that was easily seen even in the dark, but Roxanne guesses that she should be more aware of her surroundings. The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. "You okay," Roxanne said out of concerned. "Yeah, I''m ok, but you need to work on your sense," said Dawn exhausted. Pushing herself up from the ground and walk or rather limp towards the bed. "So you have another nightmare." "I never can get pass you can I," Roxanne chuckled. "No, you can''t because I know you for 4 years now and apparently you did not change over the years," sighed Dawn as she sits herself on the bed and quietly grunts in pain. "I''m sure that I different now, said Roxanne. "Not really, but are you okay Roxy," she said out of concern. Roxanne looks back at her and said, "I fine for now." She thought for a second should she tell her. No, she thought. It rather be unsaid than to be heard. Roxanne got up from the bed and get clothes from her nightstand. "Roxanne you know you can trust me right," said Dawn knowing that Roxanne is avoiding the issue rather than talking about. "I know," Roxanne simply said as she quickly finds her chosen clothes and went to the bathroom. When Roxanne came back from the bathroom, Dawn was gone. However, there was a note on the nightstand. She walks towards the nightstand and grabs the note. It says: Roxanne, I want to let you know that the headmistress would like to see you before class. I know that you don''t want to see her, but Roxanne gives her a chance. She wants the best for you. She wants the best for all of her students. And also just in case, you were worried about me. I healed myself before leaving your room, but I just want you to know that I forgive you. Even though you pretty much break my nose, but I forgive you. Roxanne shakes her head. Dawn would be always Dawn. No matter how many years will past. She will always be the same. When she got to the headmistress''s office, she pushes the two large doors softly to not make a noise, however, it did make a quite creaking in each push. Inside the office is like a large library with stairs circle around the area. The desk was in the middle of the room, and standing by the desk is a tall, long-haired woman with a straightforward face. When you look at her you would think she a coldhearted woman and she is according to Roxanne. But Roxanne knows that she has to keep her students in order. The headmistress approaches Roxanne with elegance in each step. You might think that she was floating on air. "It is nice to see you, Roxanne," said the headmistress in a proper tone. "I would not think you would see me." "Well here I am, said Roxanne not caring what the headmistress thinks of her. The headmistress chuckled, " You have not change Roxanne." After that been said headmistress, reach to her pockets and pull out a letter. "What is it," asked Roxanne while looking at the strangely familiar sun symbol on the front of the letter. "This is a letter from Dulore, " said the headmistress giving the letter to Roxanne. Roxanne snaps her head towards the headmistress as she grabbed the letter from the headmistress''s hands. "Dulore but the academy was close down 44 years ago. Why would it be open again," she sputtered. The headmistress just simply smiled, which is weird to see that on her face and give her a nod to open the letter. Roxanne was hesitant at first, but she opens the letter and begins to read: Dear Headmistress of Westwood Academy of the Arcane We are here to inform you that the school Dulore Academy has reopened due to the new law that has been placed. We wish that you bring one of your best students to experience this opportunity. They would experience new learning from their teachers within the school and the opportunity of being in a junior organization. The term begins on August 20th. We will wait for your response no later than August 15th. Yours sincerely, Michael Harrison Headmaster of Dulore Roxanne is speechless. Why now and why ever. The human and the Immugus race would not get along that quickly. "How many witches are going to Dulore, Roxanne demanded. The headmistress simply looks at Roxanne in a way that she does not like and would never like. "I''m going to be the only witch there with a bunch of hyper killing human and Immugus who both do not like magic beings," Roxanne sarcastically remarked. "So since you didn''t say no I wanted you to know that I already put your name in as one of my best students," said the headmistress smiling at Roxanne. Roxanne drops the letter in shock and she never wants to hurt the headmistress, but right now she wants to choke her to death. "This opportunity would help build the relationship between human and Immugus race back to what it once was, and you know that magical being such as us was the ones who done fix the relationship years ago. Who side we can''t do it again," explain the headmistress, "I know that you going to be the only witch there, but you can show them that you are just as powerful as them, as smart as them, and as well trained." Roxanne can only look at her, but she knows that the headmistress is right, However, the only thing that bothers her is why her. Why send her to a possible place where she can die trying to bring back peace even if they are teenagers. The headmistress put her hands-on Roxanne shoulders to put her at ease and look straight to Roxanne''s eyes. "Roxanne you are only 14 and I''m not going to force you to go, but I want to let you know that there would be a car waiting for you tomorrow at six pm on the dot." She let go of Roxanne''s shoulders and give her space to think. To be honest, Roxanne is overwhelmed because she has little time to think and this is something to think about. She looks at the headmistress before going to class and never looked back. But the headmistress knows that Roxanne would make the right choice and not knowing what her future would bring. As the door close behind Roxanne, headmistress went back to her paperwork and smiled knowing that her planed is working. Chapter 1 Part two After Roxanne''s last class, she went down to the cafeteria to find Dawn. The cafeteria was at the end of Westwood Academy and easily can be seen. The reason for this was it rather extravagant decoration and its rather large size that can fit 2 full houses. Dawn, as always, was in the left counter of the cafeteria sitting with Michael Harrison II, Dawn''s frequent companion though out the 4 years in the academy. Why he there that is something that Roxanne doesn''t know. Roxanne enters the cafeteria and immediately can feel the stares of her fellow classmates. It seems they found out about the letter, she thought. She takes her steps slowly toward Dawn table and everyone including the teachers from the second floor was quiet. Finally when Roxanne gets to her table. She slowly sits herself down in between Dawn and Michael. Then people started to talk again but this time it was loud. They start to talk behind her back thinking that she cannot hear them. "Why she gets to go," whined the girl behind Roxanne. "Isn''t dangerous for us to be around the other Immugus race." "She won''t survive, not even a day." "She not that talented." Hands slam on the table. Everyone was silent and looking at Roxanne standing up with her hands clench up to a fist. Roxanne looks at every one of their faces and can not help to feel this hot boiled of anger. "I know that y''all think of me as an outsider and I know that you see me as an abomination, but this is the opportunity of a lifetime," Roxanne explained. "Yes, it''s dangerous and I don''t know that I would survive," Roxanne continues, "But you, me, and everyone else in the world know that we are at the bottom of the food chain. That we are limited with our powers and never use our full potential. Roxanne pause to look at the second floor where the headmistress was sitting at and continues to explain. "The headmistress chose me to go because I can withstand the criticism and the hatred but...," She smiled making others around her feel more conformable. "This is possibly our only chance as the next generation of our parents and grandparents to bring peace to the immugus and the human race like before. And also prove that we are immugus and human and that we are good enough to stand by them." Silence fills the cafeteria but soon after one clap for Roxanne''s speech and that someone is the headmistress herself. The headmistress finish clapping and stands up to get her student''s full attention. "That was a wonderful speech Roxanne, "said the headmistress praised Roxanne. She sits back down, and Roxanne did the same. Everyone talks among themselves again obviously still talking about Roxanne going to Dulore and the possibility that she might die.The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. Dawn slaps her hand on Roxanne''s shoulders which causes her to wince in pain. "Well you try your best," said Dawn try to comfort Roxanne by giving her two more shape slaps. "Can you stop doing that," Roxanne yelped as she moves shoulder to the side. Dawn simply smiled at Roxanne but quickly gone away when Roxanne kicked her shin. "Ouch!" Dawn rub her shin and said, "I deserved that." In which makes Roxanne simile. "I think they should''ve listened to you," Michael commented. "Ah finally you speak up," said Dawn as she put her arm around Michael''s shoulder. Roxanne scoffed, "They would never listen to a mage." And this disappoints Roxanne. How can she bring peace among the students of Dulore when mages are banned in society? "They just suspect you are a mage. They are jealous of your ability as a Healer," Dawn explained, "And besides there a difference of being a mage and being a powerful witch." Roxanne looks at Dawn expectantly and Dawn looks right back to her. Dawn points at Roxanne and said, "You have to do the same there as you do over here. You are a witch. A powerful witch with the capabilities of a mage. The other students in Dulore don''t know any better than the adults because they never meet a mage before." Dawn''s plan sounds convening, and she was right. Roxanne did it here why she can''t do it there. "But I have not decided to go yet, so what''s the point of planning," Roxanne signed. There was silence between three of them until their food arrives by the servers. The severs put down spaghetti for Roxanne, a turkey sandwich for Dawn, and salad for Michael. Before eating Michael decide to speak. "Do you wanted to go to Dulore," Michael whisper afraid that Roxanne would yell at him. "To be honest... I would like to go," Roxanne admitted. Both Dawn and Michael sharply turned their heads. "Why," Dawn blurted out. Roxanne looks down and looks back up again and said, "It''s my home. It where I came from," She pause and look at Dawn with teary eyes. No matter how sad Roxanne is she will never let it fall not even once. "Sometimes I miss it. Sometimes I wonder. Sometimes I even ask how my family and where are they ... but back then I thought I would never go back home. I guess now that I have the opportunity to go back. Now I wonder why I would give away this opportunity that can possibly bring my family together again," Roxanne shakes her head, "But there is a risk of me being there." Roxanne digs in her food while staring at the wall. Michael gives a shrug to Dawn, but she looks back at Roxanne out of concern. Can I..., Roxanne thought. The rest of dinner time flew past fast and Roxanne can only remember the possibilities of going back to Dulore. Roxanne went back to her room and laid down on her bed. She let out a large breath and turned towards the photo on the nightstand. She grabs the photo and looks at the two figures. Every time that Roxanne looks at this photo it brings her comfort. So, Roxanne brings the photo to her chest and eventually went to sleep. When Roxanne wakes up. Light from her windows shines upon her and her photo is missing from her arms. She quickly gets off the bed and looks for the photo. Eventually, she found it under the bed unharmed. She grabs the photo put on her nightstand and quickly grabs her everyday clothes. When she finishes getting dress and school supplies packed. She glances at her photo once more and realized something that she never thought before. I can do this, she thought. The more she looks at the photo. The more she believes in herself and knowing that this opportunity would bring her more happiness than Westwood Academy. This brings a rare simile an upon her face. Not realizing that time had passed. The academy bell rings for the first class. This wakes Roxanne out of her daze. She quickly grabs her school supplies and makes a quick check before going to class. In the flash, Roxanne went out the door in a rush. Knowing that this would be her last day. Chapter 2 Part 1 It was already noon and Roxanne decide to go to lunch with Dawn and Michael. She plans on telling them about her decision even though it is her choice. They are still important to her. Once she was there, she found at the usual table they sit at. "Hey guys," Roxanne said in a tried expression. They repeat the greeting and went back to eating their lunch. However, both of them did not notice that Roxanne was still standing. Roxanne was hesitant to tell them at first, but she should know that they know each other for a while now. "I''m going to Dulore," She said finally getting things out of her chest. Both Dawn and Michael snap their heads towards Roxanne like she got two heads. "Are you crazy I thought you not going to Dulore," Dawn exclaimed. Roxanne tilts her head in confusion. "Dawn you the one that gives advice and encourages me yesterday to go to Dulore," Roxanne explain trying to help Dawn recall what happened last night. "Roxanne lets are honesty here," Dawn responded while pointing at Roxanne. "You don''t usually listen to me nor do you care so that''s why I think you would not go. And besides no witch/mage like yourself cannot fool every Immugus and human in that academy. It would take a lot of work and effort to make them trust you and believe you fully." Roxanne does not know what to say because Dawn was always there for her and accepts most of her decisions. She never thought Dawn would think that she would not do this even if it means for peace. Dawn always the one that was always positive about world peace. "I never thought that you will be the person not supporting me for this opportunity, Roxanne said slightly disappointed but accept the fact that Dawn is her own opinions. "Roxanne this is Dangerous and even more with you being a mage, not a witch," Dawn whispers to not get attention towards them. "You are not going to survive, nor would you last long. You are going to end up right back here or dead if the council founds out that you are not what you seem. You should stay here and go through life with your own people and we will prosper one day. Dawn stands up and puts a hand on Roxanne''s shoulders. Roxanne scoffed in disbelief and brush off the gesture. No matter what, she going to end back here or died by the hands of the council is true in many ways. But what Roxanne understands is that Dawn peaceful about all life, but only the life of magic beings matters more than the Immugus and the human race. "Dawn I think there are somethings that you don''t understand," Roxanne said to walk up close to Dawn. Even when Roxanne is slightly shorter than Dawn. Both of them stare straight to each other eyes. "The headmistress chose me to do this for the magical beings to be an off part of the Immugus and human society. As you know we are both races and the headmistress wants me to go there and restore unity them and us, so we can prosper." Roxanne smacks her hand on Dawn''s shoulder and smiled. This type of smile is not something to simile back to, but Dawn does so even when she is slightly afraid of Roxanne. "I never thought that you would be this way, Roxanne said putting her hand off her shoulders and walk away from Dawn. Dawn sits down watching Roxanne walk away. Nobody saw their fight, but Michael saw the whole thing and wonders why they forgot he was even there. When Roxanne walks away from the cafeteria. She heard sharp heels clack on the floor. The only person who wears heels in this school is obvious. Roxanne turns around and sees the headmistress. Roxanne rolled her eyes and scoffed and turns around and went back to walking. "I guess you heard us talking," Roxanne said as she is looking off at the school''s landscape. "I heard a lot of things between you and Dawn, but I never thought that you two having different thoughts would cause an argument, the headmistress chuckled and then she stops, " To be honest I knew she would show her true colors sooner than later."This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience. Roxanne stops walking and turns towards the headmistress. "So you know that I am going to Dulore," Roxanne asked already knows the answer. "Yes, I already know that you were going and I know that how Dawn would react," the headmistress respond, " Dawn had this thought that you and her against the world, but when it is just you and not her with you. She feels threaten." "Why she feels threaten," Roxanne asked while tilting her head slightly. She thought that she knows Dawn well, but apparently, she has secrets that she can not tell which is similar to Roxanne with Dawn. " Dawn was threatened by other people who are close to you and she feels that they would take you away from her, the headmistress smiled, " She loves you like no other ... like a little sister who does not like to see her big sister go." Roxanne smirked, "So you trying to relate with her." "No, I am trying to say that I know what she been though," said the headmistress looking at Roxanne''s eyes. "I know that this would be hard for you and for her to get through this, but things that are more important than family." Roxanne stares back at her understanding of the purpose and goal. Roxanne nods to the headmistress and went back to her room to pack. When Roxanne climbs the stair to her room. She opens the door and closes it behind her. Her room would always be in her memory and always consider being one of her homes. Roxanne moves stuff under her bed and stumbles upon 2 chests. Roxanne was surprised it was here or rather she forgot it was there this whole time. Both of the chests have two crests on them. The one on Roxanne right is a black chest with two blue dragons circle around each other and the other on the left is also a black with a grey oval and two swords crossed over each other. "Obstrepat," Roxanne glamour the chest so no one can notice it. She opens each chest to pack every one of her stuff. The first thing she packs is her clothes. If Dawn was here, she would complain about how many black colored clothes do Roxanne needs. Roxanne always similes and says because not everything about looks. It always about what you like. This still makes Roxanne similes, but soon after she starts to frown when she realizes how much they change over the four years of knowing each other. Once she finishes packing her clothes. She packs the items that have value to her. Honestly, Roxanne does not have a lot of stuff to pack so it would not take her long to finish packing. The one last thing to pack is the photo that comforts her every night before bed. She carefully set it on top of her other stuff in the chest and close it real tight so no one can get to it. When she looks up at the time, she realized she has twenty minutes left to get to her ride to Dulore. She quickly grabs the handle to each chest and runs down the stairs. She looks down so that she would not fall down however when she reaches the first floor, she saw three people waiting for her. Dawn, Michael, and the headmistress. Roxanne stops when she saw Dawn and can''t decide whether she was happy or sad to see her. Roxanne finishes her last steps and walks towards them with a forced simile on her face. She turns to the headmistress and said, "I''m ready to go with everything packed." The headmistress nods and hands over a rectangular black case. Roxanne looks at and lets go of the chest handles. She reaches over and opening the case revealing a beautiful set of swords. Both are curved beautifully with a dark brown handle. Both had a symbol on the bottom of the handle. One has a wolf symbol and the other has a dragon symbol. "Is that ...," asked Roxanne in an unsure voice. "Yes and it''s yours," said the headmistress liking the surprise on Roxanne''s face, "They would''ve wanted you to have it." She looks at the headmistress at disbelief when she hands Roxanne one of the swords. This sword was the wolf symbol and once it was on Roxanne''s hands, she feels this overwhelming emotion. She moves the sword gracefully side to side and throw it up. All three people in front of Roxanne move back just in case, but Roxanne catches it on the handle. "Thank you, Cassandra," Roxanne smiled while she puts back the sword in the case and closes it. Dawn steps in front of Roxanne to get her attention and hug her tightly. Roxanne was surprised but quickly hug her back. Dawn steps back and gives Roxanne a simile. Roxanne lightly put her hands-on Dawn shoulders. "Dawn I just want to let you know that you were a great friend over the 4 years, and I consider you as one of my sisters for life. Nothing would change that. Not even an argument can break us apart, said Roxanne giving Dawn one last hug. As she pulls off, she hears a deep voice behind her. "Excuse me," someone said politely. When all of them turn around a tall man white man was wearing a black striped suit that fits his tall figure. He has completely black hair and has silver eyes. No matter how Roxanne looks at him. He looks like someone that Roxanne knows in the past. The headmistress turns to Roxanne to introduce to this man. "Roxanne I would like you to meet your six pm rides," said the headmistress. Roxanne turns to the headmistress and wonders what is she thinking. Chapter 2 Part two Roxanne looks back and forth between the headmistress and the man in the suit. Roxanne senses tension between them so she ignores both of them and turn back to Dawn. She quickly hugs her again and grab her two chests. The man grabs her sword case. Before Roxanne leave, she nodded towards to Michael to get a proper goodbye and he nodded back. Once they get to the front doors of the academy. Roxanne saw a car. A very expensive car. She wonders why they use a car rather than a portal to Dulore. The man quickly grabs Roxanne chest into the trunk of his car along with her sword case. Roxanne gets in the care in the passenger¡¯s seat. Inside the car is even more expensive then the outside. The interior has a number of high technology touch screen in the car. It also has a symbol of a wolf howling. When Roxanne looks closer at the symbol, she felt like she seen it before. The car door slams bring Roxanne back to reality. She turns to see the man turn on the car and driving off the school¡¯s property. For an hour and half, Roxanne still looks at him trying to figure him out. Even when he looks over at Roxanne she did not look away of embarrassment. ¡°You can stop looking you would not find anything that I wanted you to know,¡± he said smoothly. Roxanne continues to look at him before looking at the scenery in front of her. There wasn¡¯t much to look at because of the darkness that surrounds them, but lights from other cars and streetlights makes it more presentable to Roxanne. Roxanne glance at him sideways and asked, ¡°What are you.¡± He scoffed, ¡°Something that you do not want to know.¡± ¡°So you not a magic user then,¡± Roxanne said happy that she gets an answer from him. He shakes his head, ¡°All I am going to say is that you would see me more often once you at in Dulore and soon you would know who I am.¡± Then he turns quite and turns to Roxanne for a short period of time. ¡°You figure me out is not your priority. Your focus is to bring peace among the new generation and build your career.¡± Roxanne frowned, ¡°You sound like my headmistress.¡± ¡°Good,¡± he said with a simile a upon his face and turn back to driving. Three hours has passed. No talking between them since then. Roxanne continues to look at the darkness and asked, ¡°Why we are driving to Dulore rather than taking a portal.¡± The man straightens his back and answered, ¡°It is security purposes. Because of you being a witch would cause chaos between the Immugus and the humans, so you have to find a portal that safe for you and with no one know about its location.¡± Roxanne turns to him with her eyebrows down. ¡°Would they look for me,¡± Roxanne asked. ¡°Yes,¡± he replied, ¡°Even if Dulore is a peace ground. Dose not mean they would hurt you or they hurt each other.¡± He continues, ¡°I want you to be proud who you are and not let them control you for who you are. No matter the consequence. No matter the purposes.¡± Roxanne agrees with his words and can not help to find them familiar like she heard them before. Roxanne change the subject. ¡°How long does it take to get to the location,¡± she asked.Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. ¡°When we left Westwood Academy it would take twenty hours. Now it would take sixteenish hours to the portal.¡± Roxanne head tilt her head and squint her eyes at the man. Why we going to Texas to go to Dulore which is in Texas, she wondered. But soon enough she let the question go and wait was in a head of her. Soon enough it was morning. Roxanne has not sleep during the car ride. It was not that she was unconformable. It was rather the thought of being in Dulore with no one to trust her. Making friends is not her strongest suit and it make her wonder on making allies would be her struggle as well. Dulore is a well-organized academy in the past and has rules that are against of fight with each other. Knowing this makes Roxanne relax more but it a different time and almost all Immugus and humans do not want to work with magic users and even against them. Roxanne wonders who is behind this agreement on opening Dulore and making peace with all races. This could be a work of bad than good but soon Roxanne is going to find out once she there and hopefully some good would come out of it. It took several hours to get the portal location. Roxanne was about to get her stuff from the trunk, but the man shook his head. ¡°There is no need to get your stuff. Worry about that later,¡± he said turning his back to Roxanne walking towards looking at the view before him.¡± ¡°So where¡¯s the portal,¡± Roxanne questioned while putting her hands on her hips. ¡° The portal can be seen in the dark,¡± he simply said. Roxanne look at him sharply, ¡°Then why are we here in the morning. When it supposed to be nighttime.¡± He looks at Roxanne then walks away. Roxanne glare at his back and quietly follow him. ¡°We are not in Texas as of yet. We have another 2 hours to walk towards the portal.¡± ¡°Why we walk towards the portal rather than driving to Texas,¡± Roxanne said no longer glaring at him, but looking at him questioning on her safely. He sideway glance at Roxanne before looking back, ¡°If we continue to drive to Texas. Many of the Immugus race who live there would identify you. It is the last thing we need.¡± Roxanne knows it is the last thing they need. She wonders how much her present put humans and Immugus alike on edge. Is this going to work, she thought, is this really going to work. ¡°Stop thinking about Roxanne,¡± he said as if he hears Roxanne thoughts. He steps over a large rock that is covered in light green grass. Roxanne done the same and both of them stay quite on the whole walk. While walking towards the portal the scenery is peaceful and radiant. The birds chirping, deer running, and inserts polluting. This peacefulness brings a smile a upon on Roxanne face. Once they reach their destination it was still day light. Roxanne sits on a nearby rock while watching the sun goes down. There is one thing that Roxanne forgot to say to the man. ¡°What your name, ¡°Roxanne said looking at him expecting a answer, ¡°You seems to know my name.¡± He similes, ¡°I can¡¯t tell you.¡± ¡°Why?¡± He walks up to Roxanne. ¡°Time would tell you the truth even when it is not important for the moment.¡± He sits next to Roxanne and watch the sun setting. Soon the sun disappears from the scenery and wind blows towards there direction. Roxanne and the man both stand up looking around for the portal to opening up. Then Roxanne looks up from hears a whistle. It sounds like someone singing a harmony. When she looks at the direction of the sound. She sees a multicolor portal. She was amazed by it not realizing the man behind her push her towards the portal. The last thing she hears from the man was quite but puts more mystery around him. ¡°You still the same Roxanne.¡± It was dark. Darker than the night sky. The portal was no ordinary portal. Roxanne feels like she stands on nothing. She calmly steps forward. She only makes it a couple steps before she fell into to darkness. She did not scream, nor she move uncontrollable. Soon she felt something hard but soft on her back. She hears someone calling her, but not by her name. Her eyes adjust to sky. Its morning but how, she thought. When her eyes focus on the person above her, he seems to have white hair and bright blue eyes. Roxanne quickly sit up and immediately regret it. The person grabs Roxanne arms to help her up. She puts her hand on her head while looking at this person hand on her arm. He saw Roxanne glance and move his hands from her arms. ¡°You alright,¡± he said quietly. Looking at Roxanne to see if she was injured. ¡°Yes, I can see little bit now,¡± she respond getting a good look a him, ¡° Are you a necromancer I thought they were extinct.¡± ¡°I guess my hair gave it away, but yes I am,¡± he said with a simile on his face, ¡°My name is Arawn Baldi and your name must be Roxanne.¡± Baldi, she thought. This peace between two different races would be harder than she thought. Chapter 3 Part One Roxanne does not know how long that she stares at him, but Arawn gave her a strange look. So she looks away and looks around the area. They were on a field where the grass was green but darker than the area she was in before. At first glance you can tell something was different. Everything in this area is unnatural. Especially the little flying creature past Roxanne. It was bright. Too bright. ¡°A pixie,¡± Roxanne whispers. She focuses on what the pixie working on the flower. The pixie grabs something that looks like pollen, but it has this glow. When Roxanne walks closer towards it, it saw Roxanne and flies away. Roxanne sigh. She turns to Arawn who is now giving her an interesting look. ¡°You look like you never saw a pixie before,¡± he said giving her another bright simile. Roxanne scoffed, ¡°I see a pixie before. It just I haven¡¯t seen one in a while.¡± Roxanne looks Arawn up and down then turned away towards the sun. ¡°Westwood does not have magical creatures. While we are witches and wizards. The council wants us to focus on one thing,¡± she turns to look at him, ¡°healing and potions ¡ but I am sure that you know that.¡± ¡°You know from the little amount of time I have known you,¡± he continues, ¡°I got a feeling your from here.¡± Roxanne gave him a smirk. ¡°You are very observant for a necromancer, but yes I am from here,¡± Roxanne pause, ¡°I was born and raised here until I was ten. My parent was from here, so was the rest of my family. Most of them were raised here ¡ but born from another place entirely. What about you? From the little amount of time I know you ¡ I have a feeling you are from here.¡± She teased Arawn and he smiled. ¡°Me, well ¡ I was told that I¡¯m from here born and raised, but I have no memory of it,¡± he sighed as he looks down on Roxanne. Giving her a small smile. Feeling conformable with him. Roxanne turns around and looks into his eyes. ¡°Why you don¡¯t remember your past.¡± He was surprised at this question. Not expecting her to acknowledge his problems. ¡°My Dad said that I was terrorized from the past that makes me forget, but he never tells me what happened,¡± he shrugs his shoulders, ¡°But I guess it is more painful for him. What about you? You said you¡¯ve haven¡¯t been here for a while.¡± ¡°Something happens with my parents and I have to stay with a trusted friend in Westwood,¡± she said looking back at the sun, ¡°I never fit in. I never really felt home with Westwood. Never had friends that like me for me, so I thought being here in Dulore would give me a chance to fit in.¡± Roxanne glance at him. She saw him agreeing with what she was saying. ¡°I guess we have to figure it out how we fit in with the humans and Immugus.¡± Arawn raised an eyebrow, ¡°We as in both us together.¡± Roxanne looks at him with sharp eyes, ¡°A necromancer and a witch that are both human and Immugus, in which both of our races hate and despised in their every heartbeat. We can be a team. Working together. Show them we can survive in their world without chaos and destruction.¡± He shakes his head then looks at Roxanne and smiled, ¡°Your right. Maker! I know something is going to happen and I don¡¯t know if it anything good.¡± Shouts from afar can be heard behind them. They both turn to see a castle on a hill in a distance. ¡°Looks like the fight between humans and immugus started,¡± Arawn commented, ¡°Lucky we are here rather there. Otherwise, we¡¯ve would have been slaughtered.¡± If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it. Both glance at each other and walk towards the castle. The walk to Dulore academy was long, but the view makes up for it. The dark green grass matches the violet trees with dark olive leaves. The pixies move at of Arawn and Roxanne''s way. The wind moves the grass and trees with grace and elegance. Roxanne and Arawn also move along with the wind. The breeze feels like home to both of them. To Roxanne it is remembrance and to Arawn it is familiarity. Soon they found a walkway that seems to go towards the academy. The walkway is decorated with dark-colored rocks with small diamonds or rubies. The gems are variable to the human society, but here in immugus society they are worthless and are meant to be decorations. As they walk farther, the stumble an upon valley of roses. Not just any kind of roses. ¡°The Bloody Rose,¡± Roxanne marveled. She looked at the sign in front of them saying: In memory of Princess Elizabeth. Roxanne passes the sign and into the Bloody Roses valley. Arawn points where the academy at but follows Roxanne once he realizes he was ignored. Both come to a stop once, Roxanne found a Bloody Rose that was ripe. A ripe Bloody Rose looks like it was dripping blood, but actually, it is juice from the stem. A non-ripe Bloody Rose would look like a red rose but darker in color. ¡°I never thought I would see these here,¡± Roxanne said picking the flower, ¡°They always been my favorite.¡± Roxanne snaps out of her dazed and stands up while putting the flower in her pocket. They went back to the walkway and stopped. Roxanne feels herself not breathing. They were so close to the academy. Arawn put a hand on Roxanne''s shoulder. She breaths in and out and continues on to the castle. It took them an hour to get to the academy. The opening of the academy is clear. ¡°I guess they went inside,¡± Arawn said while glancing at Roxanne. She glances back at him. Both took in their surroundings. Dulore Academy is a gloom but a beautiful castle. It stood tall before them with the light shines on it. The castle old, but it is questionable what age it was. Behind Arawn and Roxanne, there is a beautiful craved metal gate and a bridge that connects to it. The ground that they were standing on resembles the rocks on the walkway. The castles have four large towers. Two on the front and two on the back. On the castle, there is a dark brown stone with several windows in the front and on the sides. The window is scattered across the walls in a symmetric pattern, along with neatly hanging archers and artillery. Roxanne and Arawn walk slowly towards the massive door. The door must be the main entrance as it was big and very decorative with flower carvings. They push the entrance door and went inside. As outsiders, there was no one, but they can hear loud talking down the hall. The entrance was the opposite of the inside of the castle. It was bright and well as dim. Rather than having lights, several candles are on the walls. The walls were decorated with gems and stone. The stone is midnight black makes it look like you are looking at the stars on the sky. Roxanne feels her hands shaking, but she hides it from Arawn so he would not feel the same way. ¡°Here we are Dulore Academy. The once strongest and well-organized school of all the worlds,¡± Arawn commented, ¡°I never thought I see the day that I would be in this school. Dad always told me the stories. Some good, but the bad he never talks about.¡± The last comment makes Roxanne and Arawn look at each other knowing that this could be life changing. Roxanne was about to speak to Arawn, but the doors behind them opened. What appeared was a young but older woman who is tall. Taller than the headmistress of Westwood. Like the headmistress, she holds this elegance in each of her steps. Her long curly dark brown hair slinks back to a pointy tail. Her dress matches her caramel-like skin. Her sharp dark hazel eyes stare at Roxanne and Arawn as if they were a piece of meat. For a moment her eyes flash red but went quickly. She scoffed at the sight of them then she smirks. ¡°You two must be the new students,¡± she said while glazing at them, ¡°Let me introduce myself. I am your etiquette teacher Ms. Camelia Erebus.¡± Her words are directed to Roxanne. However, Roxanne was more focus on her name. ¡°Erebus! As in Royalty. As in one of the first Ancient Vampire families that every exist,¡± Arawn grasps in excitement. Roxanne, however, rolled her eyes when the etiquette teacher feeding off of his excitement and even looked smug. ¡°As a matter of fact. Yes, I am one of the first families of Ancient Vampires,¡± She said smugly, ¡°I am guessing that you,¡± pointing at Arawn, ¡°Are a necromancer and you must be a witch.¡± Roxanne just stares at her. Camelia chuckles at Roxanne''s behavior. ¡°I can tell that both of you are magical beings by your smell. It was very distinctive and powerful.¡± The entrance door opens again with a girl who looks like the etiquette teacher. Her hair the same but it is more of the wavy-curly side. She seems to be the same age or year older than Roxanne. ¡°Mother this place is glassy. I wonder how people from the past live in a place like this,¡± the girl whined. Roxanne tilts her head backward. I rather deal with chaos than with these people, she thought. Chapter 3 Part Two ¡°Natalia, you know why we need to be here,¡± Camelia scowled. ¡°I know Mother, but why we have represented this school,¡± said Natalia grabbing her mother¡¯s arm, ¡°There far better schools.¡± The etiquette teacher snatches her arm away from her daughter¡¯s hands. ¡°Natalia, this is not how lady¡¯s act,¡± Camelia snaps. Natalia quickly fixes herself and pulls down her blue skirt. She focuses her attention back to Roxanne and only on Roxanne. She walks closer to Roxanne hoping to frighten her, but Roxanne looks at her in the eyes. Not backing down. ¡°You remind me of someone,¡± Camelia said narrowing her eyes at Roxanne, ¡°What is your name.¡± Roxanne stares at her and says, ¡°Roxanne ¡ just Roxanne would be fine.¡± ¡°Roxanne,¡± Camelia pause, ¡°No last name.¡± ¡°Nope,¡± Roxanne stretch her ¡®p¡¯ to annoy the teacher, ¡°Both of my parents died when I was a babe. I never met them and never heard of them. The story of my life.¡± The etiquette teacher backway from Roxanne. She walked off with every click to her step. Natalia looks at Roxanne with distaste and follows her mother¡¯s lead. Roxanne sigh and looks up at Arawn. His excited nature claims down a bit, but it is still visible there. ¡°I can¡¯t believe we meet one of the royalties of the entire world,¡± he said putting his hands together and almost jump up and down. Roxanne tilts her body and gave him a look like he was crazy. ¡°Just because they act like royalty does not mean they are one,¡± Roxanne explained, ¡°And besides we have to be in their good side anyway, so no wild fanning them. Otherwise, they throw us to the dogs.¡± ¡°So what happens next once we go farther,¡± Arawn said looking at Roxanne with worried eyes. Roxanne shakes her head. ¡°I don¡¯t know, but if we play the cards right. We will be fine¡ hopefully.¡± They both look down the hall and hear shouts growing louder. They glance at each other and walk towards the noise. For a moment Roxanne stops to get a closer look at the hall as it was different than Westwood. The hall is very different from the entrance. It was like outside dark and beautifully curved with unique symbols. Roxanne does not understand the concept of the symbols on the walls, but she knows they mean something to the castle. The walls also have dark brown bricks, but different what humans use in their homes. It was like it was stuck together with nothing holding it tight. Roxanne puts her hands on the bricks. She feels no gaps. Just a solid hard wall. The wall was decorated with plants and candles on each wall side and angle. Above them, the ceiling is like a distant road with no directions. The space is empty with space fill with dim lighting from floating candles. The color of the lights seems to put the hall in a darker setting. Makes it look gloom, but a beautiful piece of the castle. It showed small bridges that look like it goes to different directions, however, there is no staircase on sight. Roxanne does not know if the bridges are no longer in use or the staircases are hidden within the walls. When Roxanne looks down on the floor. It is light in color which matches the walls. The floor has a unique style that brings most of the hall¡¯s interior. Its color is blueish closer to black. This color makes it closer to the night sky. It looks like it is the primary color thought out the school.Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. Roxanne stops studying the halls and moves along with Arawn by her side. As they get closer to the sounds. The color of the hall changes and staircases are revealed. There are three staircases. One in the middle, one on the left, and one on the right. ¡°Which one,¡± asked Arawn. Roxanne took her chances and chose the one on the left. Arawn followed her towards the staircase. In each of their steps, the stairs creeks loudly. The stairs are not created with wood rather than it was created by magic. Strong magic. ¡°I can feel it,¡± Roxanne whispers feeling the magic around her. To Roxanne''s knowledge, Dulore has many mysteries that no one knows about. It was said that Princess Elizbeth created Dulore by her own magic and creation, but there are no documents that prove that this was true or if Elizbeth is a true person. ¡°You can feel what,¡± Arawn said behind her not feeling the magic from the staircase. ¡°This staircase and maybe the whole academy are made with old magic,¡± Roxanne pause, ¡°Or maybe ancient magic that nobody ¡ not even the king himself use.¡± Arawn fully understands what Roxanne getting at. ¡°If nobody knows that this is not magically built and can be controlled by a magic-user then if something bad happens-,¡± ¡°They would put the blame on me,¡± Roxanne interrupts, ¡°Someone is planning something.¡± They come to an understanding that they have to be more careful about how they use their powers even if it is limited. People can easily put a blame on someone when they don¡¯t fully understand the concept. Both of them reach to the top to the stairs. The shouts to died down but still can be heard from their position. While the halls still the same as downstairs. The difference is a massive door in the right hallway. Roxanne felt her heartbeats fast. Arawn put a hand on her arm. It is not known if it was to calm her down or to calm him, but it seems to work for both of them. They walk down the hall feeling the pressure on them on what¡¯s going to happen to them if they went in. What going to happen to them once they see them. It¡¯ s not like that if Roxanne has never been around different species before, but it seems to be different if they are strangers who learn to hate magic-user and their whole existence. As they got closer to the door. They feel small. They feel like they can¡¯t move, but this is it. They can make it or break it. At the same time, they open the door reveals a large group of teens argue with each other. Both of them see a lot of different species in Dulore. Obviously there the humans who are mostly hunters, but also the Immugus has a variety of species. It goes to Ancient Vampires to Cold blood Vampires. Demons, who are most likely children of the Succubus and Incubus, and Werewolves and Shapeshifters, who share the same heritage. ¡°It seems that we are not the only halflings in here,¡± Arawn said pointing at the Elves and Fairies, ¡°But it looks the mermaids is the only one that did not come.¡± Roxanne can understand that. Mermaids keep to themselves and never interact with society. Roxanne takes a minute to appreciate the dining hall appearance. It is different from Westwood and it keeps its theme of being gloom, but the size is massive. Multiple round tables are enough for all students. It can fit around thirteen to twenty people. Like the ceiling, candles are floating indicating there is magic. The walls look like there were plants planted inside. The roots bring more an organic look to the dining hall. It gave it more a lively look. Somehow this makes Roxanne happy. She can¡¯t explain why she feels this way, but it is the way how she feels. Soon enough people died down their argument and it was quiet. They were looking at Roxanne and Arawn in disgust and hated. ¡°Oh boy,¡± Arawn whispers. Roxanne and Arawn walk slowly into the dining room. People move away like they were the plague. The werewolves snared and the Vampires look at them like they were a meal. The Elves and Fairies ignore them which Roxanne can¡¯t blame them. Once they got to the center of the dining hall. They feel stares as they wait what comes next. ¡°Well, I never saw a day a witch and a necromancer in the same place,¡± said a boy with short dark blond hair. When he got closer, his light gray eyes filled with hatred and points his finger towards Roxanne. ¡°A witch like you in this kind of place would kill you easily.¡± He laughs and people behind laughs with him. Roxanne shrugs her shoulders and said, ¡°Well an Ancient Vampire like you would get you head cut off on a silver plate.¡± Arawn grabs her arms again, but this time it was harder. ¡°Roxanne, what are you doing,¡± he whispers. But Roxanne ignores him and focuses on the blond teen. The teen quickly walks up to Roxanne until there is little to no space between. ¡°Who do you think you are,¡± he growled. Roxanne repeats, ¡°Who do you think you are.¡± ¡°I am Nicholas Michelekos. One of the sons of the head Ancient Vampire Michelekos,¡± he said proudly but angrily, ¡°And you little miss nobody should not disrespect me.¡± Roxanne reply, ¡°Why should I respect you if you do not consider me as one of your own people.¡± He was angrier than before. Arawn holds Roxanne''s arms tight, but she stood her ground. Soon and later they would understand why they should not mess with a mage even if they do not know it yet. Chapter 4 Part One Roxanne and Nicholas glared at each other. Arawn was not only afraid that Nicholas was going to attack Roxanne. He was afraid that she was going to get them expelled or even being the most hated people in Dulore even though the humans and the Immugus hated them already. The crowd was getting bigger and bigger as the commotion between Nicholas and Roxanne became heated. Nicholas smirked at Roxanne and his eye light brown eyes turn red in minutes. ¡°I expect you to respect me because I am superior to you halfling as you are on the Immugus grounds,¡± he said smugly. ¡°I am not dumb nor am I stupid to believe that Dulore is Immugus grounds,¡± Roxanne corrected, ¡°As you know that this academy is part of the society grounds meaning that this is a neutral place for everyone.¡± She steps closer to Nicholas until their heads are almost touching. She continues, ¡°You see, you should respect me as your equal, not as you loyal halfling servant.¡± Some of the people around them gasped. Others shake their heads while the ones that side with Nicholas were ready to attack them. ¡°People. People. Claim down,¡± said a girl with black straight hair sitting on top of the table. Her bright eyes stare at Roxanne and smiled. Roxanne can tell that this girl is a vampire but not an ancient vampire. Nicholas turned to the olive-skinned girl with a frown. ¡°Sofia, this is not the time,¡± he said. Sofia waved her hand and pushed off the table to greet Roxanne. She stands in front of Roxanne with her hand sticking out. Roxanne looks down on the hand and looks back up toward the smiling girl. As she grabs the girl''s hand. It was cold. Roxanne shivered and Arawn moves his hands from Roxanne shoulders. ¡°You¡¯re a coldblooded vampire,¡± Roxanne blurted. Nicholas''s face darkened in anger, but Sofia just smiled at Roxanne and nodded. ¡°Yep, 5th generation and proud Rosiello,¡± she said while letting go of Roxanne''s hand. She turns to the crowd around them. ¡°There nothing to see here move along," she yelled. Roxanne looks down and whispered,¡±Rosiello. Sofia turns to Roxanne, ¡°Is something wrong.¡± Roxanne looks at her and shakes her head, ¡°No¡ It just that your last name sounds familiar.¡± Sofia smiled again, ¡°Oh, might hear about my sister Emilia, who is second command mentor of the Protectors. She is one of the talented people within the organization.¡± ¡°Yeah, that seems to be right,¡± Roxanne whispers to herself not knowing that Sofia giving her a confused look. There was a loud clap that caught everyone''s attention. They all turn towards the balcony where a tall man with short sandy brown hair. He opens his arms wide. ¡°Welcome student to Dulore academy. As this is one of its kind and you were chosen to get the higher education that none of your previous schools offered. As of 1996, Dulore reopens to a new era. A new generation. Which is going to be you. All of you, he said with a grin on his face. ¡°Dulore have anything and everything that you would want here such as friendship with an Immugus, human, or both. But you have to find where you belong and that why you. The younger generation of your parents can make peace with each other and while making that peace would bring a greater society.¡± Behind the headmaster, there was a group of different people step up behind him. ¡°Some of you know this school because of your parents. As they were students here before 1944. Before the war, ¡°he said looking down and close his eyes while shaking his head. He looks back at the students. ¡°But this is a new age. A new time. A new society where all can accomplish something greater and greater than you. Now let¡¯s get into the organization. The man pushes a bottom in front of him and something comes behind the students. It was a huge screen. The student was amazed at the unfamiliar object, but to Roxanne, halflings, and the human has amazed them to but what amazed them was that it has no projectors to visualized the screen nor the screen has something to hold it up. It like it was floating like the candles that Roxanne saw in the entranceway.Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere. The screen shows a symbol of a Blue Cross with the world Superiors on the bottom of the screen. ¡°This my students are the Superiors of the organization. Top-level group of the best of the best. This is the group that checks on others to keep them in check. When becoming a Superior you have to have the leadership though out the way and few became one because of the lack of patients and respectfulness to others. They are the overseers of justice and loyalty to this society. That is why mostly the gods and goddess, demons, ancient vampire, elite human and elves get this position because of their rank in their race.¡± Roxanne glance at Nicholas while he smirked at the screen. The headmaster continues, ¡°However, as we do have Junior Captain and Commander, the Superiors leaders do not get the title only the Protectors, Healers, Gathers, and The Keepers.¡± He switches the screen to the next slide to show a white screen with two hands together like they were holding something. ¡°Here is the Healer organization. They are the one who keeps the Immugus and human race heath in check. They are the doctors and nurses in our society. This use to be the mages and elves only until the council approves the idea of choosing an organization of your own choice.¡± When he said this the students gasped in the excitement of choosing an organization, but Roxanne was wary about how they would be trained for the organizations. He switches screens again that show a green screen with a Bohr symbol. ¡°The Gathers are the most intelligent people in our society and rather idealistic who analyzes the scientific properties of an object or artifact. They are the reason why we have excellent technologies that are very ahead of human¡¯s time. They are our inventors, scientist, and technologist. They are many things as they create our society to be the best of the best.¡± The headmaster switches the screen again, but this time there are two symbols. One with two swords cross and the other is pages of a book. ¡°The last two organizations work together like peas and pods,¡± he points to the two swords cross, ¡°This one is the oldest organization. They are the Protectors. The warriors. They guard what¡¯s important. They are meant to protect and serve society. Highly trained in hand combat, weaponry, and movement. The people who work in this organization risk everything and put society first and first only. They are usually the coldblooded vampires and werewolves, but the council was hoping for more diversity and willing people to join.¡± Arawn tilts his head towards Roxanne. ¡°It seems being a Protector is dangerous. I wonder what type of person wants to risk their lives just for the society and nothing else,¡± Arawn said worried about how this going to affect their choices. Roxanne turns to him. ¡°I don¡¯t know but it looks like a lot of students want to be in the Protectors,¡± Roxanne said glancing at the other student''s faces, ¡°But I believe it is for the wrong reasons than right ones.¡± Both turn to face the headmaster as he talks about the next organization. ¡°The Keepers was actually banned years ago and now disband with thousands of people in this organization makes it one of the most organized people in this society. They are the ones who research and analyze artifacts before the Gathers. They also recorded many of the magical creatures in the past. The Keepers are the historians, caretakers, code crackers, ritual keepers, ancient weapons analyzers, language, and language holders of this society. This organization was the most diverse than any other organization and have a reputation for being the most respectable people in the world.¡± The headmaster finished his presentation and turn towards his students. ¡°You all are going to have a class together depending on age, gender, and what race you are. The mandatory classes are strength classes for males and alpha shifters/wolves and etiquette class is for females and omega shifters/wolves. These classes would happen on Mondays, however this week the Keepers, Superiors, Healers, Gathers, and Protector classes are for everyone to practice seeing which organization is fit for them. Friday is any day where you can get the extra practice for your chosen organization and Saturday is Chosen Day. Where you and many people are going to be official participants of the society and continue to participate in your adult life,¡± the headmaster takes a long breath, ¡° You are going to be introduced to your teachers during the week and hope you get on their good side. You may take a seat and enjoy your dinner.¡± The headmaster snaps his fingers and food suddenly appeared on the round tables. ¡°Whoa,¡± Arawn said looking at the food in such amazement. ¡°You know that you are drooling,¡± Roxanne commented. ¡°I can¡¯t help it. I haven''t eaten all day,¡± Arawn points at the table that is closer to them, ¡°Look at the chicken, the green beans, and cornbread. Oh! Just like my dad¡¯s cooking. Arawn sign with his hand on his chest. Roxanne rolled her eyes and walk towards the far back table where no one is sitting. Arawn followed her. Once in their sit, Nicholas and Sofia sit next to them. Both Roxanne and Arawn look at them in confusions, but Sofia smiled at them. ¡°I know that we got on a rough start, but I would like to apologize for him,¡± ¡°That is nice of you, but I would like to hear it from him.¡± All of them were staring at Nicholas while he was glaring back at them. Sofia shakes her head. ¡°Don¡¯t mind him. He always likes this on his good days,¡± Sofia said while patting his shoulder. ¡°On his good days, that must be painful on his worst days,¡± Arawn commented while chuckled. Roxanne smiled a bit while she grabs food from the table. In the shadows, someone watching Roxanne and smirked. ¡°You¡¯re here,¡± they whisper
