《Pandora Project》 News At the moment I have lost track of the path that I intended to go on after not writing for a while. So I have decided to do a rewrite and change it into a different type of story. The characters will mainly stay the same and the earlier chapter before going into the game will as well. The difference being that I will start the game with a meeting of the 6 masters of the True AIs which I will change to Sentient AIs. This cake about because of an argument that I had with comeone in university that said all AIs are True AIs so I¡¯ll just do it.Stolen story; please report. Chapter 1 "Why did this have to happen." A single tear can be seen on a young boys cheek as he stares into the sea of endless clouds. In the past, seeing only clouds in the sky would have caused a gloomy day, but the current generation has only ever seen the sun once every 5 years. Another torture in the days of despair. The boy wiped his face and turned his wheelchair around to go home. In the age of nanomachines the term ''cripple'' is hardly ever used. The boy possessed an extrodinarily rare gene in his body that rejected all, but 2 models. Neither could be used for his conditions. Passing through the holo-trees that had once been his place of thought and calm had only created more pain as he realised that now he was truly alone. *Beep! The boy opened his had to activate the palm screens menu. The mini machines in his palm acting as a communicator and conection to the internet. "Come on home. It is time." Said the voice on the other end of the call before the glow on his hand blinked out. Sighing, the boy wheeled him self to one of the transportation platforms. As the platforms are rather expensive he tries not to use them often, but he has just had enough for today. The only thing he wants to do now is. Be alone. The boy slowly wheeled himself to the elevator he made sure to turn off the power system within the chair. Wouldn''t want to be known as the crippled to be fried from forgetting that all modern wheelchair possess a minor hover system in case of emergency... or just plain laziness. Selecting the 25 floor, the boy simply waited as the doors closed. He was alone. No one was there for him. No one was there to comfort him. His father is gone. Mother long dead. He was alone. *Ding. The elevator doors opening to the 21st floor snapped him out of his depressing stupor. Two burly men in suits walked into the doors cheerlfully laughing with one another. One had pressed the 25th floor without looking. The boy could only sigh as the two men never once noticed that he was in the same confined space as them. After the doors opened to the transportation platform, the two men briskly walked over to the desk to fill out the forms needed to access the transportation grid. Being a frequent transporter he already had his biometric information within the database making him bypass all the boring paperwork. Seeing the shocked and annoyed look on the two men did seem to brighten the boys mood as he smirked their way before wheeling up to the first platform. Name, came the voice of the platforms AI. "Alexander Cesaer Zelphaneir." Biometric check.... Confirmed Analyzing clearance... Confirmed Select destination. With that the boy wheeled himself into the center of the transportation grid and said, "Home." Destination selected... Confirmed Beginning operation...The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation. 3 2 The boy closed his eyes in preparation for the nauseating shower of light and abrupt motion. 1 The boy disapeared in a flash of blue light. The two men had finished their paperwork in time to hear the boy state his name. They looked at each other and nodded. They just witnessed the son of the head of the worlds AI production company Nano-Men. Dr. Stephen Zelphaneir, the smartest man in all of the human race. Alex arrived at his destination in a flash of light. Looking around at his dark basement he could help but mutter under his breath "Somettimes it really is good to have an inventor as a dad." He watied for the glow from the grid beneath his feet to fade before powering up his wheelchair and entering hover mode. "Really. For how smart dad is, couldn''t he have had a ramp instead of stairs." Murmured Alex as he thought of how inconvenient his wheels were. *Beep Welcome home Alex. Are you ready? Breathing out a deep sigh Akex could only say, "Yes Hope." Good. New horizon is enterin into the cryo-prep phase and will officially begin once the majority of the worlds population has entered into their Coffins. Hope. An AI developed by his father to be his companion when he was born. Her being a True AI is seen as a threat by most of society. A True AI is one that growths and developes with time. She learns, deletes, and overwrites part of her code as her database matures. Her kind was only allowed to be produced in extremely few numbers and each possessed an Anchor. An Anchor was the term used to maintain a True AI''s sanity. Not wishing to create a self-sustaining murder machine these Anchors will be their primary function no matter how much code they overwrite and delete of theirs. As Hope is the companion for Alex her primary Anchors are as follows:
Take care of Alex
Support his future growth
Ensure his personal freedom is maintained
Dr. Z made sure that the final Anchor was developed last and after Hope had been ''alive'' and learning for 10 years so that she had enough experience to judge when she needed to step in. It wouldn''t have gone over well if she had overstepped and misjudged that someone had restricted his personal freedom only to later learn that that was not the case. Nodding his head, Alex proceeded up the stair to the living room before turning and proceeding down the only restricted section of the house. Dr. Z''s Laboratory. Turning off the hover function, he wheeled himself up to the door and turned the knob. His father had made sure that nothing could spy on him by placing a magnetic field on the walls and door of the lab. Any tech that would try to penetrate the deenses would instantly shut off and trigger the alarm. This included his sons wheelchair. Moving down the ramp Alex could see a single contraption. It was for all intents and purposes a Funeral Coffin. Aptly named, the Coffin was a virtual reality devise that would place someone in cryosleep while injecting the body with nanobots that will regulate the bodies intake of nutrients. This was put into place for the New Horizon. Not knowing when the human race will wake from cryosleep the nanobots will take care of all the tedious needs of the body before the Alarm Clock sounds. Taking a deep breath, Alex places his hand on his Coffin before closing his eyes. His father created this for him. A path to restore what humanity has lost. *Beep Alex. Climb in. I will take care of the rest. And so Alex did. He enter the Coffin and it closed over his head. Leaving him in darkness. He could feel the injection of the nanobots in both his arms. The pinch only lasted for 10 seconds before the needles disappeared into the side of the machine. Closing his eyes Alex took his conscious last breath before he would awaken to a new world.

However, it is ill avised to comence until after system is completely set up otherwise unknown consequences could ensue. So in order for nothing bad to occur I just have to stay crippled. Ok. chapter 2 Alex awoke in a daze with bleary eyes. Looking around, he saw a white lanscape with a pitch black sky. Wondering where he is or if there was a malfunction in the Coffins system Alex began walking. After an hour of aimlessness did he see a change in the surroundings. A chair. With a person just reading a book sitting in it. The woman didn''t pay Alex any attention, just flipping a page and continuing with her business. "Hope?" He already recognized who it was, but still wanted some king of confirmation. Instead all she did was briefly glance at him with that look of ''seriously. Thats your first question?'' then looked back down. That look alone gave aweay everything. "So this is your doing. You do know that I walked for an hour for no reason." Alex was quite irritated for having to do something so meaningless and boring. Hope sighed before looking up and saying. "Did it really not go through that thick skull of yours that you are actually walking?" Wait what? Alex looked down and saw none of the cybernetics that he had assumed was allowing him to move. As if his body only now just realized that something was wrong, Alex fell to the ground. Trying to push himself up for some reason all he could accomplish was moving into an upright sitting position. Looking up at Hope he was silently blaming her for no longer being able to walk again. "Why are you looking at me like that. It is not my fault that you are an idiot." Hope was laughing without a care in the world. "Besides. You never noticed which meant that your brain is the one at fault for this." She said while waving her hand at her downed master. "Well what should I do. It isn''t like I can just jump up and start walking as if everything for the past 16 years was a dream... Right?" That last little bit just slipped out. In all honesty he could not figure out what was happening when just before he could walk perfectly. "Like I said. It is your brain. Because of being within the gamespace your body is back to full health, but your brain still has to operate it just like anyone else. Having been cripled for all your life you are quite litterally like a baby who has not taken its first steps yet." Hope explained before another fit of badly suppressed giggles. Wanting to change the topic to save what was left of his ego he asked. "What is this place?" Hope stopped laughing, showing only a serious expression. "This is a game version of Earth. The world itself has not been named as a whole because the various kingdoms, tribes, and races call it differently. When all the servers are joined together the most common name spread across will likely be it." That did make sense. Wait. Something about what she said just now didn''t seem quite right. "What do mean by it will likely be called that name." That just did not make any sense. Hope just shrugged before staring back at him. Going by normal game standards then that should be apart of the Lore. "Alright if I am beginning in the game why am I talking to you. Father only told me that humanity was going into cryostasis until the planet is livable again." "Well he was right. He just didn''t bother to tell you the whole story. Humanity will be locked inside of a game until the Earth and the rest of the solar system colonies are restored to hospitable conditions. There is also an added bonus of whatever you do in game to enhance your IRL body through the Coffin and nanites. There is little else I have time to tell you other than your special entrance speech so lets get on with it."This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it. With that Hope turned aroung an walked 3 steps before turning back to begin whatever speech she has cooked up for Alex. Her eyes were cold and empty as if she was not the one who was actually talking. "Welcome. As a member of the First Wave of humanities integration into the Evolutionary System you will be granted a class. The explaination of classes will go more indepth once in game, but just know that you can only learn skills and magic by obtaining the corresponding classes. The more classes you have the greater the spread of possible skills as well as the higher the synergy between them." Hope closed her eyes and reopeneed them with the same glitter in them as before. With a shudder she said, "That was unpleasant. Hopefully there won''t be many other times in which I have ti have the system talk through me like that. Anyway thats it. Th only thing left is the gifts that your father left for you. So I will leave you to it. Goodbye Alex." With one last smile Hope turned around and vanished into a cluster of sparkles. In her place was a single gift box. Grunting Alex crawled over to this gift. Just touching it caused a shower of light that was absorbed into his body. Congratulations Host Integrating Inheritance.... Integration of Dwarf bloodline complete. Received skill Balance. As the system completed whatever process a sudden change occured in Alex. His hieght of 6 feet started to shrink to 4 feet. In addition to his strange height change he found that he could stand if he wanted to. Although it was only a thought in the back of his mind due to the skill Alex carefully pushed both his hands to the ground. It was a very shaky 5 minutes of careful, slow adjusting before he was standing fully. Having a satisfied grin that his Father had given him a tool to finally allow him to stand tall for himself. That thought caused his smile to change into a frown as he looked at his short stature. Well I guess that is done. Initiating player spawn. Host requires class. Processing Host mentality... Mountain Lord
Dungeon Master
Oh boy. "System, may I have a breif description of the classes." Yes Host
Mountain Lords are the rulers of the dwarven race. They grow in power as the mountain symbolizing their power increases in mana and qi, flora, and fauna density. To become a mountain lord means to be the origin causes for any change in the home of your dwarf citizens.
Dungeon Masters dominate their territories. The function of the master is purely deterined y the type of dungoen under his/ her charge. The master expands their territory by claiming land not populated by sentient life.
Mountain Lord possesses many benefits in the early acquisition of forces and large territory, but also has an immense responsibility to their dwarven people. The Dungeon Master appears to be very weak personally in the beginning, but will have the greatest territory as long as there are not any sentients in the region. Hmmm. Both are strong for different reasons and require the same style to grow stronger, but I feel like... "System I have made up my mind. My starting class shall be Dungeon Master." Acknowledged Host. Beginning Spawn Process. Spawn Location Rarity processing... Rarity increased due to Heritage of Creator. Spwan Location roulette beginning. The sound of a wheel being spun could be heard. Spawn Location Rarity determined. Legendary. Spawn point Location roulette. Spawn point [Asteroid] determined. Good Luck Host. With Alex''s spawn point being an Asteroid determined he exploded into a flurry of rainbow colored lights. Chapter 3
System Announcement
Welcome Members of the First Wave. You are the trailblazers of this new frontier. As you will have to build the pathway to power on your own, all shall receive a limited assistance. These will offer basic explanations to your classes as well as the overall functions within this world. Your AI assistants will possess a limited intelligence matrix that will be semi-autonomous and loyal to your person. May you forge a path that pushes your boundaries and evolve.
Welcome Master. Alex groaned as he lay on the rough ground. Looking around he saw a small ball of light. Remembering the system he nodded to his assistant then asked it a question. "Where are we?" Looking upall alex could see were an endless sea of stars across the night sky. We are currently located on an asteroid in an unknown star system approximately 17 light years from Earth. ''Well that is both good and bad. If I had to set up a dungeon then I am glad that it wasn''t on any asteroid near Earth as that could have messed up some gravitational science things.'' Alex could only stop thinking about how far away he was from his home as he noticed that he should be dead. "System. Why is it that I am not dead from the lack of oxygen?" This is currently a game world. As the master of the territory where you are standing, master does not have to worry about lack of life sustainability. "Are you suggesting that as long as it is within my territory I can''t be killed" Negative. You are only excused from basic life support such as oxygen, food, and water until your dungeon reaches a suitable requirement. That did make a lot more sense as there would be no way to establish a dungeon on an asteroid if the Dungeon Master dies as soon as he is spawned. "Well then, since we have that taken care of. System, how do I establish my dungeon?" Master only needs to state your class skill to do so. Alex only looked confused before he understood what was happening. The announcement did say that the AI''s would possess a semi-autonomous intelligence. In layman terms it is only capable of accessing information and perform a task when requested. Now realizing the weakness, Alex can now proceed without having another one of these plunders.Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings. "Alright system. Explain to me my Menu then the process of establishing my dungeon." Acknowledged Master. To access your Menu all you ahve to do is think the word while focusing on your body. Doing so Alex saw a screen.

The body and mental statuses are only there as a reminder in the case of injury, stress or the like. Stats only show aspects of yourself that have been augmented due to your classes. No stats will be augmented as your class has not yet been activated. Imagine viewing all you classes in a list. When Alex focused as his system had directed his vision zoomed in on that one tab. When the previous Menu was out of focus his Class became visible with a single skill under it.

Dungeon Master - Establish Core
To utilize the skill all Master has to do it audibly say the name of the skill. This will occur for all skills obtained until the player has enough proficiency in controlling the skill. Hm. "So what you are saying is that stating the name of the skill is leaving the System to automatically do it until I can on my own? Like having a book read to you in another language when compared to you reading it yourself?" That analogy is suitable as an explaination. Alex rolled his shoulders as he said. "[Establish Core]." At once, his body felt like he was no longer in control. Moving on its own, he extended his right hand in front of him while turning his palm up in the air. His hand made a motion as if he were grasping something in his finger tips. A small speck of light shown in between his fingers. The surrounding space vibrated a little as if there was a heat wave. Once the light stopped a small crystal pebble was floating above his hand. When the rock fell, Alex''s hand grasped it tightly and put back to his side. Amazed at the strange light show while also having a cold shiver after having his body moved like a puppet under someones strings. A screen appears once more with only 3 names.
Labyrinth
Tower
Expanse
These are the dungeon types that are available to be chosen. At your current strength as well as the overall size of the asteroid only one type may be selected. Looking over each thrice Alex decided to ask the system a question. "Is there anything you are able to tell me about any of these?" Alex was hopeful that he did not have to make a blind leap of faith with no information to go off of. Sadly his fear was made to light. Negative. The Dungeon Master is to choose based on their own individual instincts. This was done to ensure that some form of diversity is achieved between masters themselves. Alex sighed in response. What his AI said made sense, but all he could feel was disappointment. Although each dungeon would have some form of being unique from this way of separating starting positions it would still help to have some form of information. Thinking a bit based on the dungeons of various games that he played he made his choice. "I choose..." Chapter 4 Once Alex selected his choice the ground beneath his feet shook. He furiously swore at the system as his face slammed into the sandy dust. Placing his palms down, Alex got into a push up position to stabilize himself. He figured that he would ride out this system generated earthquake until whatever is happening finishes. Seeing as how Alex had nothing to do but stay down he looked around at his surroundings hoping to find the source of the shaking. It was kind of hard to make anything out with all the vibrations so he turned his eyes to the ground to stop the disorientation. That was when he noticed what truly was happening. The ground was changing. Once Alex took notice, he could feel subtle changed in the soil under his hands. The loose dust that made up the asteroids surface was growing denser. Not much, but it was like comparing acumulated dust in an abandoned home to the consistance of kinetic sand. While this new sand possessed little to no grit as its namesake was known for it was still better than the dust that would float away at every movement. After another five minutes the asteroid regained its stability. Taking this as an oporrtunity to look around, Alex slowly stood up. Nothing in terms of scenery had changed, but there was a shift in the air that couldn''t be described. It was almost like the area around him was recognizing him as its owner. It was a very strange feeling to Alex. Dungeon Zone Established. Master may now activate Core Formation. "What is Core Formation? I thought the only skill I had was Establish Core. What does this mean system?" Alex asked. Replying to Master. Master had used the skill Establish Core. This begun the process of building a dungeon. Now that the process has begun Master must follow the instructions as new skills are being produced from the destroyed first skill. "I guess that makes sense," Alex mumbled to himself. "Wait why did my first skill get destroyed?" The Establish Core skill is a single use, consummable skill. Once activated its function is performed outside of Masters control. This also means that from the fragments new skill can be made during the process. "Alright system. Thank you for clarifying." I live to serve, Master. Alex thought for a bit before asking the system one last thing before moving forward. "System, can you show me the Dungeon Master class skills? Display the skills that are being created from the fragments of Establish Core."You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author. Very well Master.
Class: Dungeon Master
Skills: Establish Core - Core Formation - Core management (50% completed) - Energy generation (10% completed) - Creature creation (1% completed)
"Hmm, I see. Very well lets proceed. Begin Core Formation." Acknowledged Master. Beginning Core Formation Portocols... Nothing happened. Looking around Alex could only see the sand beneath his feet for miles and the endless sea of stars above his head. Scratching his head, Alex was about to ask the system if something was wrong when a change occured in 2 feet in front of his foot. The soil was collecting. So much sand was rushing in front of him that his feet dropped 3 feet to the stone beneath the surface. All the gray dust that was thrown into the air could be seen spiraling down to meet the sand forming a gray cyclone. A gray cocoon of dust was formed. 10 seconds ticked by in silence as Alex waited for something to happen. On the 15th second, the cocoon started imploding on itself. It could be seen from the surface as small depressions were continuously being formed, collasping inward. From the 3 meter ball of dust, now something else was being formed. The implosion stopped when a metallic stone smaller than a grain of rice was floating above the ground. Following some unknown instinct, Alex slowly reached toward the stone. As his palm cupped up towards the sky, the stone floated over to rest in his hand. As skin made contact Alex felt a rush of power flow through his veins. Dungeon Core Formed. Proceeding to establish dungoen typing. Beneat Alex''s feet, the stone started to become patterned. Standing on the now cobblestone platform Alex began to rise. "Wait. What is happening." Alex said with a mix of awe and panic. The platform he was standing on was elivating himself until he was standing on a single story cobblestone hut. In his hands, the Dungeon Core glow changed to a single tendril that creeped down to touch the stone.
Mana Ki
"Uh. What?" Master must choose one to obtain the skill Energy Generation. Later Master will have the opportunity to posess the other. "Wait. Wasn''t the Core Management skill the next to be unlocked. Why did we skip to Energy Generation?" No Master. Core Management as well as Creature Creation are both active skills that you yourself have to utilize. I will start the tutorial for those later. For now it would be ore efficient if Master decided on which form of Dark Matter energy the Dungeon is going to manipulate. "System. Can you give me a general decription of the two befoer I make my decision." Alex wasn''t asking, but had started to give out orders. He figured an AI wouldn''t care either way. As you wish, Master. Mana is an external energy that can be manipulated and augment the mind. Ki is an internal energy that enhances the body while being gnerated from the users heart. Well for a dungeon this seems like a no brainer. Although I could use Ki, the dungeon itself would not as it isn''t organic, but a building. "System, I choose Mana to be generated." Acknowledged. Destroying skill Energy Generation. Creating skills Mana Generation and Mana Manipulation. Entering Dungeon Master Tutorial. Chapter 5 As soon as the notification left Alex''s field of vision, an automated video began to play. Though it can be described as a video it was almost like Alex was experiencing the workings of a beginner Dungeon Master. Everything was being transmitted from sight and hearing to smell and touch. All five senses were being transmitted from the figure in the cutscene to Alex. Whoever the figure was gave a minute for Alex to get acquanted with this strange feeling of losing control of his body and just being a passenger.Once time was up the demonstrator went about his job instructing the new master. The figure began moving around the room to the small gem. Once close enough to touch Alex felt his hand reach up to touch something. There were 3 blank panels. The figure grabbed one in its grasp and muttered in a language Alex had never heard, but strangely understood. "Come little one. It is time to show the rookie how to proceed in this new life." If Alex still had control of his body he would have broken out in cold seat at how the figure knew that he was there. Alex witnessed a circle appear on the ground and something manifested into being. The only word to describe it was something because Alex could not see what was summoned. It was almost like he couldn''t be trusted to know the secrets of the man Alex was shadowing. "Remember this feeling. The system can do this for you, but the creature will never be as useful as what you create yourself." With that over, Alex was back into his own body. Shaking Alex asked the system why he lost control of himself. Host would not have learned the feeling of mana flowing through the body by only instructions. It must be done instinctively.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. ''So that was what that was.'' Alex started to think back to what he had just experienced. Each step of the unknown figure was transmitted to him. He was trying to search his memories for the cause of the strange phenomenon. He tried to remember so hard that a ghostly avatar of his body appeared. Not having noticed what he had done, Alex merely went about copying what he had witnessed. He even went so far as to say the exact words the figure spoke to him just to make certain that everything was going to be right. Once Alex reached the point of the cutscenes summoning he felt a pulling from the back of his neck. It was almost like having a headache and yet there was no pain or distraction from his thought process. Taking that feeling he thrust out his hands in hopes of summoning something like that mysterious figure. Nothing happened. Not one to shy from a challenge Alex continued on trying to do something with the non-pain headache he was experiencing. Everytime that he though something was going to happen it was like he reached a wall that refused to give way to him. In a fit of frustration, Alex let out a loud sream of rage at being denied. The pulling sensation suddenly exploded whatever was stopping him from advancing as cool chill flowed down his neck to his spine. From there the cold turned hot as the feeling moved towards his arms before stopping at his hands. Not wanting something to mess this up he pushed out his hands. And a fog flew out of his hands making a faint circle on the ground. Congradulations host. You have started to develope Mana Manipulation. This marks the start of your dungeon making career. A smile appeared on his face. "I did it," Alex whispered before his legs gave out and he fell to the floor. Letting out a grunt of annoyance at having his moment ruined by his stupid legs, Alex slowly sat up. In front of his vision a blue panel opened up asking him a question.
Choose that which you wish to bind to your dungeon.
Wisp
Construct
Sprite
Staring ahead at the three unfamiliar names Alex could only think of one thing to do. "Uh... What?" Chapter 6 Alex couldn''t understand what he was looking at. All he knew was that there were words in front of him, but there didn''t seem to be any sense to them. Has Host forgotten that you were attempting to summon a creature? Hearing his system''s reminder Alex burned with embarassment. The only good thing is that no one was around to see his blunder other than his uncaring robot of a system. Alex coughed before telling the system, "No system. I did not forget, but was merely suprised." He felt the need to justify himself to the system for some reason. Understood Host. Blowing out a sigh of relief, he asked the system what he was looking at. Host, this is the beginner selection for Tower monsters. "System can you clarify ''Tower monsters.'' As you wish Host. Tower monsters refer to the summons specific for the Tower dungeon. If Host had chosen another option the summoned would be three different choices. These monsters are non-sentient so that the players and NPC''s of the game would not possess any guilt towards killing them. If this were to occur then there would be the chance of dungeons no longer being explored due to social political conflict. "Thank you for clarifying system. Could you tell me what the options for the other dungeon types are?" Alex asked as a means to learn if there was any kind of dynamics between the dungeon types or perhaps any monster crossovers. The system remained silent.?Sighing, Alex figured that the games system was prevented from giving out information about options the player has not picked. "System, can you give me the description of each monster? I don''t want to blindly go into this without at least a reference on what they do." This system can not comply with Host inquiry. Host is proposed a major choice for his dungeon and must make an instinctive decision to define Hosts foundations. The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. Well now isn''t that convenient. Whoever developed this game probably thought it would be funny when the players asked only to be brought up empty. ''Ugh, I wouldn''t put it past dad if he did this on purpose just for me.'' "Alright. What did dad always say to do when presented with a problem that you have no clue on solving, "Take stock in whatcha got." First is I know that I know nothing about Wisps. From the name it sound etherial or noncorporeal. Then again it could easily just be something with something to do with water." Alex searched his memories of other games that he has played for anything regarding a monster known as ''Wisp'' but could only make up inferences from its name. "Well construct seems the easiest to understand." Thinking on one fantasy/strategy game he played in the past that sometimes referred to golems as constructed entities. "Though since it isn''t stated as Golems picking them will probably just be any constructed or animated monster. Definitely an interesting choice." ''Interesting, but not reliable. Considering the name is Constructs then there should be some part of the monster system that will let me customize or build them myself. That is well and good, but there are no materials to build them. The only thing around to build them out of is dust and that is just asking to die.'' Alex let his thoughts roil in his mind on the inefficiency of the constructs being presented to him while floating through space. "And finally we are brought to Sprites. Hm, if I remember correctly aren''t they related to fairies?" Although he thought back to all his gaming experience he couldn''t quite finalize that hypothesis as a fact. Many fantasy games worked under different rules, so some fairies were called sprites while others were completely unrelated to the word. "Still, that sounds about right. That will mean that they are good at manipulating the natural elements." Having taken stock in what he already knows and what he thinks he knows, Alex has decided what to do. His first acted was mentally crossing out Constructs as a viable choice. There just wasn''t any viable materials to construct a monster from using space dust. Which brought the two other monster selections to his attention. Neither were known to him. The only thing that he can say is that they both sounded magic based. That''s is all well and good, but there was nothing that he could figure out that separated the two in how their magic would work. Retreating to his thoughts, Alex mused on the differences between the two. On the one hand, Sprites were always relatively close to nature while Wisps are an unknown that could just be close to the water element. Thinking hard he decided to do close his eyes, spin in a circle and point. Eyes now open, Alex looked at which his finger was closer to. "System I choose to summon a Wisp."
