《Aetherial Adventures》 Chapter 1 Deep inside of a forest, a young girl wakes up, panicking. Frantic, she looks up towards the stars to help calm herself. She can''t remember her name, or how she got to this place. All she can remember is that the stars are her friends, who have always been there for her. As she calms down, she suddenly hears... DING! This world consists of cultivators, who use Qi to strengthen their bodies and become powerful. You are currently in a forest known as Solace Forest, which is on an island off of the mainland. You are the only human on the island. Aetheria, now slightly terrified, then asks the system. "What can you do? Is it possible for me to cultivate? And why did I get you?" Currently I am able to use the Status, Shop, Inventory and Lottery settings. You will also of course be able to cultivate. For your last question, I was gifted to you by the Stargod because he admired your love for the stars. Due to you being given me by the Stargod, you have received a title, ''Stargod''s Chosen'' and a giftbox, called ''Stargod''s Boon''. Would you like to open ''Stargod''s Boon''? Aetheria excitedly replies, "Yes! Open it!" Opening ''Stargod''s Boon''... Rewards received! And then Aetheria passed out. Chapter 2 Aetheria sat up, not remembering where she was. Then, in a rush of clarity, she remembered the events from before her blackout. "Hey, system," she started, "Why did I lose consciousness?" You lost consciousness due to the rewards of the giftbox ''Stargod''s Boon''. The rewards of the giftbox caused physiological changes in your body. "What?! What changes did it cause?" Aetheria quickly stood up, and then noticed that she felt more in tune with her body. The giftbox changed your race and made you a member of the Nebula race. The members of the Nebula race are descendants of the Stargod and are able to evolve into an elder member of their species, which is called a ''Starchild''. "It''s amazing to think that I am now just like a star!" She exclaimed, smiling up toward the heavens. "What else did I get from the giftbox?" You received a cultivation method, Path of the Almighty Stargod, which is highly compatible with you due to the change in your race. You also received a Mythical Bloodline Ticket. "Hmmm, alright. Use the Bloodline ticket. I want to start cultivating as soon as possible!" Then she stopped. "Hey system, why do I know what cultivation is? I heard you say it but it didn''t mean anything to me, and now I can recall exactly how to do it. Why is that?" That would be due to me. I implanted memories of how to cultivate in your brain so that you would have an easier time acclimatizing to this world. "This is great, system! Now, let''s start cultivating!" She sat back down on the ground in the lotus position and began to try to sense the Qi in the air. After a few minutes of sensing nothing, she sensed it. There it is! I can sense the Qi in the air! After sitting there and sensing the Qi for a while, she finally received the notification she was waiting for. Host has broken through to the 4th stage of the Mortal Realm! "Hold on, system, how am I at the 4th stage already? I''ve only been sensing the Qi in the air!" That is correct. The first 3 stages of the Mortal Realm focus on sensing the Qi in the air. Sighing, Aetheria went back to meditating, this time, trying to absorb the Qi she sensed in the air. It entered her body easily and spread throughout her meridians. Soon after, she felt her meridians contract and then expand, growing even larger. She checked her notifications and received a shock. Host has broken through to the 5th stage of the Mortal Realm! Amazed by her own progress, she asked the system, "How is this possible? How did I break through so quickly?" Chapter 3 - First Hunt Three Days Later
Having spent the last few days familiarizing herself with her new techniques, Aetheria felt confident in her ability to hunt some of the beasts on the island so that she could eat. She had foraged for plants the past few days but now she was craving some meat in her diet. Before she went out to hunt, she decided to ask the system about the island. "Hey system, what''s the weakest monster on the island?" The weakest monster on the island is the Blackthorn Wolf. It travels in packs with others of its kind and has an average strength around the 8th stage of Mortal Realm. Upon hearing that, Aetheria decided to check her status one more time before she set out to hunt the wolves.

Over the course of these three days, Aetheria managed to get 85% of the way to the middle stage of Foundation Realm, only meditating to recover her Qi for more practice. If she had put her efforts into meditation instead of just using it to recover her Qi, she might have already been at the Core Formation Realm! After leaving the grove where she had first woken up, Aetheria climbed to the top of a tree, trying to take a look around. She noticed that there was a wolf very close nearby. She jumped down from the tree and stealthily ran over to where the wolf had been. As soon as she made it over to where she saw the wolf, she hid in its blind spot. After waiting for a bit for it to let its guard down, she jumped out from the bushes and kicked it in the side, sending it crashing to the ground whilst yelping in pain. Aetheria jumped over to where it had landed and pinned it to the ground. Then she began to beat it, wanting it to cry out and bring its pack over to her. As soon as it howled like she wanted it to, she punched it in the side of the head, killing it instantly. Received 70 System Points! "System points? What are those?" Then she remembered the system mentioning that it had a shop function. She decided she would take a look at the store once she had finished her hunt. She ripped chunks out of the wolf''s flesh, then roasted them over a fire as quickly as she could. Aetheria ate the meat, trusting her body to stop any bacteria from getting her. Then she heard the sound she''d been eagerly waiting for. She put out the fire and then climbed up a tree to hide. As the rest of the wolfpack trodded into the clearing, Aetheria sat above them, invisible until the moment they would look up. She took the opportunity to scan the wolfpack and noticed that there were five 7th stages 2 8th stages and an early stage Foundation Realm wolf. Smiling in anticipation, she jumped down from the tree, landing on the head of one of the 8th stage wolves and snapping its neck. She quickly pivoted to the side and punched the other 8th stage wolf in the side of its skull, snapping its neck as well. Sensing the Foundation Realm wolf pouncing towards her, she quickly turned and kicked it right back in the opposite direction, sending it flying into the bushes. Aetheria then set her sights on the five 7th stage wolves, attacking them swiftly and snapping their necks and caving their skulls brutally. Having dealt with the last of the normal wolves, she turned her attention over to where the pack leader was getting up off the ground. Seeing its dead packmates, it growled and then charged at Aetheria, desperate to get revenge at any cost. Seeing this, Aetheria dodged to the side easily and stomped down on her opponent''s head. The wolf, blinded by rage, was unable to see this in and was kicked down into the ground. Aetheria frowned when she noticed it was still alive, and then ended the wolves'' life with a swift punch to the head. Smiling, Aetheria sat down on the blood-stained ground. She looked around at the beast corpses and remembered that she had gotten points for the first kill but couldn''t remember seeing notifications about the rest of them. "Hey system, where are my points for these kills?" I turned off notifications because you were in combat. You can check your notifications whenever you like. Pleased to learn this fact, Aetheria opened her notifications and surveyed them. Received 80 System Points! Received 80 System Points! .... Received 70 System Points! Received 70 System Points! Satisfied with her first day of hunting, Aetheria gathered all of the wolf corpses and head back to what she had just decided was to be her home base. Chapter 4 Aetheria sat in the middle of her base, gathering Qi into her body, trying to recover all the Qi she had expended in her fight against the pack of Blackthorn Wolves. Suddenly, she feels the Qi in her body start to circulate even faster than normal. Knowing that this signals a breakthrough, Aetheria starts pulling at the Qi in the air even more, getting as much of it to enter her body as she can, until a shockwave goes through her body and her Qi goes back to flowing through her meridians, albeit slightly faster than before the breakthrough. Smiling, Aetheria opened her eyes to look at the glowing system prompt in front of her. Host has broken through to Mid Stage of Foundation Realm! Seeing this confirmed to Aetheria that she had, in fact broken through to the mid stage of Foundation Realm. Excited by her progress, she asked the system to help her locate a beast for her to test her power against. The closest beast on the island to your power level is the Sapphire-Winged Panther. They are around the Mid Stage of Foundation Realm, with the strongest member of their race on the island being at the Early Stage of Core Formation Realm. Perfect, thought Aetheria. Then she ran out from the clearing and jumped up into the trees so that she can look for a Sapphire-Winged Panther to fight with. After looking for more than 2 hours, Aetheria began to become bored. She searched for another 15 minutes until she finally managed to find one. When she finally found one of the panthers after so long searching, she was so excited that she immediately jumped into a fight with it without scanning it. The panther, sensing something wrong, looked up and immediately jumped out of the way of Aetheria''s leading attack, which would''ve severely injured it. Surprised that it was able to dodge, Aetheria wasn''t able to dodge the beasts counterattack and was forced to cross her arms over her face to protect herself from its claws. The resulting impact sent her flying backwards into a tree. As she was getting up, Aetheria scanned the beast, wondering why the panther was so powerful.

Aetheria''s faced paled slightly as she realized her mistake. She had rushed into battle before she had even assessed the strength of the panther. She had been so excited to finally find one that she hadn''t taken stopped to think she might not be able to handle it. Berating herself internally, she promised herself she would always scan a beast before she attempted to fight it. She turned around to run, but before she could get away, the panther lunged towards her, wanting to get back at her for attacking it unprovoked. Attempting to dodge the lunge, Aetheria used her movement technique and sprinted away. She dashed out of the way of the lunge but was clawed on the arm, receiving a deep gash that began to bleed profusely. You can heal your arm by purchasing a healing pill from the shop for 100 system points. "Buy it!" Aetheria exclaimed quickly. As soon as she said it she saw a bright light appear in her hand. When the light faded, a pill was in her hand in its place. She quickly put it in her mouth and swallowed it. As she continued to run back to her base, she felt all of her wounds close up. She wanted to see what state her arm was in, but was too busy running to stop and look at it. Aetheria finally arrived in the clearing she had claimed as her base, and risked a glance back at where she had come from. Her eyes closed in on the panther, which made it to the edge of the clearing and then stopped. It looked around with a hint of panic in its eyes, and then turned around and ran away. "System, why did the panther run away?" Aetheria asked, shocked by its sudden change in temperament. It was scared to intrude on the holy ground of the Stargod. "So this is the Stargod''s holy ground," she said in wonder. "There''s not much here." She finished bluntly. That is because the Stargod''s Holy Temple is underground. "Really? Where is the entrance then?" Unable to answer. The host must discover the entrance somewhere on the island. "Alright," said Aetheria, "That sounds like something to work toward. Now, I have a few more questions for you system. First, why am I able to enter the holy ground? And second, how old am I?" You are able to enter the holy ground of the Stargod due to your race. Part of the reason the Stargod changed your race was so that you would not face consequences for being on the holy ground. The answer to your second question is unknown, but you have the figure of a 15-year-old girl. "Okay, it''s somewhat odd you don''t know my age, but I can deal with looking 15. And I''m glad for the racial change now, without this holy ground to keep me safe I''d probably be dead by now." Aetheria then settled down to meditate, feeling slightly better about everything. Then she remembered her arm, which had gotten injured while she was fleeing. She looked down at it and was surprised to see that her wounds were gone and there was no scarring left. Content now, she began to meditate, but before she could, she yawned. Aetheria giggled at herself and then laid down to sleep instead. There would be much to do in the morning. Aetheria Status:
