I won¡¯t answer questions that would spoiler the story, but I will try my best to answer them in a way that would satisfy your curiosity. If you find any mistakes please tell me via PM or write a comment so that I can correct it. Thanks and I hope you like my story, because this is my first ever try. ---------------------Jonah''s POV-------------------- It was normal day on Earth. It was sunny and the sun was shining on the asphalt. You could see people wearing armor that reflected the the sun and the people wearing it walked with a straight back. They were usually in a group of 5 or more. Some people were wearing leather, some cloth and some were wearing the sun-reflecting plate armor. The usual "party" for dungeon "conquering". Conquering was not really the right word, because Humanity never got further than the 50th layer in the Dungeon. That was, because after layer 50, you couldn''t go back to the entrance, you can only advance further into the Dungeon until layer 100, kill the endboss and get out. That was not my problem because my level was only 5 and my initiate skill was bad as hell. I mean, how was I supposed to kill a monster with my Dimensional Storage? I couldn''t even level it up, not that I would have the money for it. You can only level initiate skills. There were skillbooks, but you can''t level these skill to make them stronger. To level them, you have to do enough quests for a "System-Legal-Guild" and then use your questpoints and gold, that you got from killing monsters, to upgrade them with the system. At that time of the day I was walking to the Frontline-Guild, so that I could do a quest. I needed money, a LOT to be honest. Well for me, it was a lot, for your usual Party it probably wasn''t. I needed money, so that my little sister could go to a Dungeon-School, where you could learn how to survive in the dungeons. I usually made money by transporting items from A to B, with my Dimensional Storage. But that wasn''t enough. I needed 1000 credits to enroll her and then 100 every month till she graduates. Right now I was getting around 1000 credits a month, whereas 500 were for the flat my mother, little sister and I were currently living in. It was a small flat, but it was enough to survive. Yes, survive. Then we were needing around 300 credits for our daily necessities and for the rest of the month we would have to use the 200 credits from my job and the 300 from my mothers'' job for clothing and "luxuries". My mother was working part-time in a restaurant near our home, the rest of her time she was at home and did the chores, with my little sister. She also usually did her best to help my little sister with her dungeon-studies. The Guild was your usual fantasy guildhall, besides the fact that it was more modern with terminals and other scify stuff, that I have never touched before. I was finally in front of the building. It was iron-grey and made out of iron and looked pretty plain with 2 big windows at the left and right side of the 5 meters high and 3 meters wide double door. The building seemed to be all about efficiency with its rather cube looking fassade. I was trying not the be seen when I walked around the people talking in front and inside the building. The inside had 5 people spaced out, behind some kind of counter with glass inf front of it, on the left. These were the Guild workers, where you could get information about everything specific to the Guild and dungeons in the area. I walked up to the queue that seemed to be the shortest, and walked to the end of the line. While I was doing that, I looked around me without making eye-contact. These people looked down on weaker people with low level and the higher the level the more you have to be careful of them, because if they were to punch you, there was nothing you could do and if their level was high enough and their stats were based on STRENGTH, you could even die from it. No joke.A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. That was why I put all my statpoints on my SPEED-stat, so that I could possibly dodge or make a run for it, if needed.

With my SPEED on 35, I could have a maximum speed of 70 km/h and would be able to go to half of that, in just a second. Which would sound crazy fast, but basically everyone with a level of around 20 and a warrior class was just as fast, if not faster. Let''s not talk about mages and their initiate skills, which would kill me just as fast as a warrior and they wouldn''t even have to move. SPEED also enhanced my reflexes and ability to move efficient with as little moves as possible. I once tried myself on knitting and DAMN that was something to watch. Once I got the hang of it I knitted so fast and efficient, it looked like some kind of machine, but in the end the scarf still looked like shit. I got to level 5 by killing level 1 monster birds in our garden, since the System came to Earth a year ago. The first birds where difficult to kill, but after putting my 5 statpoints per level into SPEED, it got increasingly easier to aim my old and rusty ironsword to slice them. I got that ironsword for 50 credits a while ago. It was basically useless in a fight versus someone with a higher level, but my mother and sister bought it for me anyways. They said it makes them feel better when I carry it with me when leaving home. It gives them hope that I will come back everyday and be safe. It was finally my turn to talk to the Guild-employee, so I stepped up to the counter. "Welcome to the Frontline-Guild, how can I help you?", said the middleaged human man, with a business smile, behind the counter. I answered, "I want to do a quest." "Do you have a party, do you want to join one or do you want to do it alone?", he said, still smiling. "I don''t have a party and want to join one", I answered. "Then please but your System-ID on the mark", he said and pointed to a red metal pedestal. I did as told and waited. After some time the employee said I could take it back and did just that. He then asked, "Okay Mr. Bellwood, what kind of quest do you want to do?" "I want a mining quest, I am level 5 and have a skill to carry around 300 kg of mana cristals" After some time the employee said, "Alright, there is a mission in 2 hours and they still need someone to carry the cristals, do you want to do this one or wait for another?" Without missing a beat I said, "I want this one, please" The employee smiled politely and asked for my terminal again, which I put on the pedestal again and after some time I could take it back. "You now have all the information you need to know for the quest in your updated questlog. The money will be sent to the designated account the moment you step into the dungeon. Is there something else you would need my help with?" "No thank you that would be all", I said with a smile and left the building. Thanks and I hope you like my story, because this is my first ever try. ---------------------Jonah''s POV-------------------- After I left the Guild I went to the designated meeting place shown on my questlog. ... On the way to the meeting place I bought myself a hotdog at the street and ate it on the way. When I arrived at the place I checked my questlog. I could check my questlog with my terminal but I could also just check it with my system. The terminal was a system created item that everyone, who used the system, has. To get the terminal you just have to say "terminal" in your mind. I did just that and my terminal appeared in my right hand. The terminal was just a metalstick that you can flip open, to make it around 20 cm long or just keep the 10 cm. When I clicked the red button on the 10 cm long metalstick, a 20 cm long blue hologram appeared.

Manacrystal Mining Difficulty (E)
The Guild needs Manacrystals to power the terminals. Go into the underground dungeon Station 17 and mine, after defeating the Rat-Boss at the end of the layer 10, 10 Manacrystals(low) and bring them to a Guild-employee to get your rewards. The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Rewards: 1000 credits for non fighters (you) and 3000 credits for fighters.
For 1 Manacrystal with "low" power you could get around 1000 credits. So by doing this quest, instead of selling the crystals and getting the money that way, we have to bring them to the guild and they give us around 17000 credits. Which would be more than the crystals are worth. You can even keep the leftover crystals. Not that I would be getting any.

1- Old Ironsword (rusty) - Bonus stats when equipped - None
My old and trusty useless-gonna-break-anytime-now ironsword that I only used on some damn birds. Call me when you need someone to kill birds... Options let you change the design and stuff, but I changed that a long time a go so that was not really needed. I could also activate/deactivate the U.I (user interface), but I always have it activated. It showed me my HP, MP, ST as a red, blue and green bars at the top right corner of my vision. Now that I checked everything I waited for my party. ... After some time a group of 5 came and said that we would have to wait for the 2nd non fighter. 10 minutes later he arrived. The group of 5 consisted of 5 men, 1 Tank, 2 Archer, 1 Fighter and 1 Healer. Which was a standard party formation for dungeon conquering. It wasn''t really surprising that there was no mage in the party, because a mage is pretty weak till they have enough mana, which is around level 20, to clear the dungeon fast enough without holding the party back. The lone boy and I group up and greet each other. Right after that the party leader told us to walk behind them until we reach the layer 10. Because the boy and I have never been in this dungeon before the party has to start at layer 1 and fight up to 10, which made the party a bit grumpy and as punishment we had to stay watch at night. A dungeon could be basically everything. This dungeon was just an endless tunnel system from an old underground trainstation. Dungeons were mini-dimensions that copy how the surroundings looked like before, just that they made it wayyy bigger and were split into 100 layers with a Boss at the end of every layer. ... There was nothing special on the way there so I just followed them and watched them smash and slice the zombie-rats till layer 10. Me and the boy had to stay awake at night, first was me then him. So we basically only slept for around 4h each and had to do that for 3 days till we reached layer 10. The boy and me talked a lot and I really enjoyed his company. He was pure and honest. He told me that he had to do this quest, because his mother is ill, so he needed money to get medicine. The party was efficient and, from what I saw, overleveled. Which wasn''t surprising, I mean that was easy money to survive and they leveled a bit. It was just a small bit but enough to make a difference in the long run. So, instead of risking your life killing monster on your level, you just kill lower level ones and get enough money to survive. I would do the same, but until layer 10 there are no quests and no one wanted to party with me and take xp, because my skill is too weak to be useful. It was the same with this party, the boy and me weren''t in the party we were just walking with them. That was why I wouldn''t be getting any xp or see them on my party screen and check their levels. ... After some time they killed the Rat-Bossmonster and we started to mine the crystals. Then it happened. (Old) 3 Falling down If you have any questions, then you can ask them in the comments. I won¡¯t answer questions that would spoiler the story, but I will try my best to answer them in a way that would satisfy your curiosity. If you find any mistakes please tell me via PM or write a comment so that I can correct it. Thanks and I hope you like my story, because this is my first ever try. ---------------Jonah''s POV-------------- "Put the Manacrystals on this side and after that we take a break and go back", said the team leader with his pickaxe in his hand. """Alright""", said the party like it was studied. It was not their first time, that much was sure. I was mining crystals at the bright blue wall behind the copse of the Rat-Boss and his minions. It smelled pretty bad and I had to breathe in my jacket so I don''t throw up on the spot. It was strange to see Manacrystals in the train station brickwalls, but if you really thought about it the whole system was strange, so I just took it as it was. "Hey Jonah. Do you think we can each get an extra crystal? I mean there are at least 7 more than we need to finish the quest", said Jason, the boy who was talking to me the whole time in the dungeon. I was happy he was talking to me, otherwise it would have been pretty damn boring. "Sorry but I don''t think we will get an extra crystal Jason", I said with a smile to not make him too sad. He was so pure I bet he thought the hole time if he worked extra hard he would get a bonus. It pained me to see such a young boy, not even 15, doing mining work in a dungeon where you could lose your life like its nothing worth. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. Jasons face instantly lost his shine and he looked down with his eyes going from hopeful to sad. I would give him my crystal if I get one at the end of the quest, but that wasn''t really likely. "Stop talking and finish mining or we won''t get out of the dungeon before its night", said the Tank with a hella deep voice. I mean damn, could he be more generic? He was big too and had a buzz cut. He looked like a tank, that would be shown in a RPG trailer back when we still had internet. "Of course I am sorry", I said with a smile and he hopefully won''t talk about anymore. I never stopped mining while saying that to show him I meant it. He just huffed and left. Could have been worse, I thought with a happy smile on my face. ... Just before we finished I felt something strange. I have never felt like this. It felt like waves are behind me, if that makes any sense. I looked in the direction I felt it and saw Jason carrying some crystals. I instinctively felt that it would not end good if he ends up walking on the waves for too long. "JASON STOP", I shouted and ran up to him and pushed him out of the way, just before I heard an unearthly crack that came from the the ground. The other members heart it too and looked at me just to see me falling down a huge crack in the ground that got bigger and bigger. Luckily Jason was already out of range, but I wasn''t so lucky. I fell down the dark hole until there was not a single bit of the blue light of the mana crystals left. I was trying to make sense of the situation until I saw a big bright blue lake near the ground where I am headed. I was trying my best to move myself in the air to land in the lake and hopefully survive the fall. I was swinging my arms around like crazy for several seconds until I had around 20 meters left until I would hit the ground. At that point it just clicked in my head. I just knew how to move myself. I felt my mana move from my body to the skill. The skill moved me to the edge of the lake and dropped into it. Then everything went black... If you find any mistakes please tell me via PM or write a comment so that I can correct it. Thanks and I hope you like my story, because this is my first ever try. ---------------Jonah''s POV-------------- After I woke up and checked my notifications I looked around in the darkness. I wasn''t able to see much, and my new skill, Gravitational Perception, wasn''t really helpful, because it only picks up movement and not surroundings. It was dark but not too dark, there were still some Manacrystals distributed through out the walls, which gave just enough light to see around me. The walls were pretty high and the usual train station tunnel was gone. Is it different after the 50th layer? Eh, doesn''t matter... It was some kind of cave with pillars randomly distributed though out the cave. The cave was around 20 meters wide and it seemed like it was just a big ass tunnel system-cave thingy... I just had to go deeper into the tunnel to get to the next layer. There were no monster around me, but that wouldn''t mean there are none around at all. You could never know what abilities the monsters in dungeon have. Some could make themselfes invisible... maybe? So, I went in front of a high, pillar just around 10 meters high with some kind of pedestal on top of it. I hope I won''t fuck it up. I activated my skill Telekinesis and started to put my mana, for my weight, into the skill and started to push me up. First, I started with 81 kg then slowly made my way up to 90 kg. Luckily I don''t fear heights ... not that I would see the bottom anyways. After some seconds I safely reached the top of the pillar and moved myself on top of the flat pedestal I deactivated the skill and checked my mana. I only used around 2000 Mana, which would have been insane some hours ago, but now I still had more than 13000 left and it was regenerating at an insane rate. Okay ... what do I do now? I have enough food to stretch for 3 weeks. Luckily I had to carry some of the food for the party. With food I can survive, but I want to survive more than 3 weeks, duh. So, I have to clear the dungeon ... great idea Jonah ... kill level 50 monsters as a level 5 noob ... After I fully used my new INT and WIL stats to think about ways to survive, I came up with the best plan ever. I just had to kill so many monsters and get items that I could run through this dungeon and survive this shit ... Nice plan Jonah ... okay let''s not talk to myself, not even for fun, I don''t want to actually get mental ill. Can I even get mental ill with a WIL stat of over 4500? I mean if you get 5 stat points per level that would have been more than 900 level ... When I think about it ... why have I never heard of anyone absorbing these pools, to get so many stats? To get my question answered, before trying to kill some monsters, I constantly checked my surroundings with my Dimensional Perception while scrolling though ALL my notifications. Even multitasking is easy now. Haha, that''s great, maybe now I could try to play Piano? Okay, no useless thoughts! I then checked my notifications and found some interesting stuff. Let''s start from when I started absorbing mana...

..... ... Even while reading my notifications, I stated to lightly sweat. Even though, I know I survived this shit, it was still pretty damn scary to read what exactly happened... So basically... I was lucky? To summarize this shit. I was almost dead, the system started absorbing mana into my body. Some of this mana went into my own mana regeneration. With that, my REGENERATION stats started to rise. After that, I fully healed my body. Then, because I absorbed too much mana I... started to... die? Again...? But before that could happen, I fully absorbed the mana in the pool and then got the trait Mana beast. Mana beast then healed my body with the new regen-stats? Yeah, I am allowed to sweat here. So that''s why no one has ever done that ... no joke intended... anyways, I only survived because my own mana was low so some of the should-be-absorbed-mana was used. Otherwise those extra 100 mana would have killed me... So that is why the trait is Unique. NO ONE WOULD DO SOMETHING SO STUPID... After mentally calming down, I then wiped the sweat form my brow and proceeded with my masterplan. I just had to wait for a monster to show up in my surroundings and then I would have to throw something with telekinesis at it, until would die... Like I said, best survivalplan ever ... not even the Bear Grylls could top that, heh. I then took one of my, wow-that-stone-looks-nice stones that I randomly picked up on the street and put it into my dimensional storage, out of the stoage and looked at it. The stone was not even that beautiful, it was just smooth. Now I just had to wait for a monster to show up. ... I constantly checked my surroundings with my dimensional perception, so it didn''t take long for the first lucky winner to show up. Let me check it''s status first.
LUCKY ORC (Level 50)
This is a special Orc that only exists once per dungeon. It is a present for the first lucky-or-not person to show up on layer 50. It gives bonus xp for the first person to kill it and is otherwise nothing special. Be careful because it''s still an Orc.
Huh, it seems we are both lucky today buddy. I thought grinning like a madman. I will survive this shit even if I have to eat your flesh and drink your blood! Thanks and I hope you like my story, because this is my first ever try. ---------------Jonah''s POV-------------- I held the stone in front of my body while aiming at its ugly body. It was hella ugly. The Orc was basically your - classic fantasy, pig-faced, 2.5 meters high, with broad shoulders almost nothing wearing - friend. I then used my INT stat to calculate where I want to hit his or her face. I wanted to hit him, yes HIM, in the eye. So, I concentrated fully on my aim and used my SPEED stat to move my arm to have the right aim. Let''s hope HE can''t climb up here. Yes, everything is possible, I mean I basically just casually flew up 10 meters into the air. I hope I really AM lucky. After I took aim I pushed enough mana to move the stone with 1000 kg power right into his right eye. It''s flying, it''s flowing, it HITS... the ground, just kidding. A devastating and skin crawling crack was heard, the stone went through the brain, out of the head and then the Orc fell down onto the ground, while his brain fluids flew out of his skull. I almost cried out after I saw so many level up notifications popping into the left corner of my vision. I then went to options and changed it so that it showed them in bulk and stop spamming my eyes full of shit.

... Huh, really...? FUCKING, HELL MOTHER OF GOD, YEAH!... Like I said, it was the best plan ever and I wasn''t just lucky that I had enough INT and SPEED to aim perfectly or had enough mana to use telekinesis with 1000 kg of power. I then checked my status to distribute my new statpoints.

Hmmm... I think I should still put all my points into SPEED, because even with STRENGTH, a lot of HP and so much MANA I still die in one hit if I don''t have armor... Love this story? Find the genuine version on the author''s preferred platform and support their work! I once heard from my little sister that even with a lot of HP and PHYSICAL %RES I could die in one slice by a sword through the heart. ---------------Alice''s POV-------------- "HEY ALICE!", shouted my brother from the livingroom/kitchen. Can''t he just come to my room? I didn''t want to move or shout back, so I just ignored him and kept on reading my book on dungeons. It was a book about the leveling system and the system was actually pretty easy. Everyone basically had to kill 100 monsters on his/her own level to level up. It was completely irrelevant if your level was higher. If your level was low you even get a pretty nice bonus to your xp. So, if I killed for example a wolf at level 15 and I am at level 5 I would get 100% more xp, because the wolf is 10 level higher and the system bonus takes that by ten so 100% more... So that was why some people still stayed on the same layer for weeks even if they outleveled the monsters completely... It was because they weren''t punished in any way and still make money from it... I have to try my best at learning this so that I can, when I get 16 years old, go into dungeons and make enough money for my mother and my brother... I hope my brother awakens another skill form himself... Everyone, once they hit 16, would get their initiate skills form the system and could start killing monsters with them. I couldn''t predict that I would get more than 1 skill or if it was even good, but my brother still has a chance. Basically, if you were older than 16 when the system came to earth, you could still awaken skills by instinctively using them in strange or dangerous situations. I even read some people learned a calculating skill because they wanted to calculate how much money some items were worth and didn''t want to be scammed on the market... "ALICE, HEY ALICE", shouted my brother again. I then heard knocks on the door and my brother said, "Alice? Are you asleep? If not, can I come in and ask you a question?" I rolled my eyes and said, "Even if I were asleep your shouting would have woken me up, dumbass" "Come on Alice, please. Am I not your super handsome brother?", said my brother from behind the door like and idiot. "No you aren''t but you can come in anyways", I said and turned to the door with my book still opened in my hands. After he opened the door and was standing in the doorway i said with a smile, "What''s up?" "Uh, I just thought about some insane stat-combinations that would be useful for you, and I came upon one that was broken as hell", said my brother with pride oozing out of his voice and a shit eating grin on his face. "Yeah? And what how does the "broken as hell" part of it look like?", I said while rolling my eyes with obvious sarcasm. My brother didn''t get the sarcasm part and told me how he used his insane RGP experiences to find a loop hole in the system. It was basically investing stats into END until you had 80% PHY RES. and then pumping the rest into STR (Strength) until your HP pool was so massive that were basically invincible. "That sadly doesn''t work, oh handsome brother of mine", I said turning around,"You would still need armor or will still die like any other normal Human before the system." He looked at me like I didn''t get the "until your HP was massive" part and then said with one eye brow raised, "But why is that? When you have so much HP why would you still die like that? And why would armor make that any different? Armor only gives more HP or other buffs, but not more PHY RES." "Yes, but you would still die if you have no armor and your heart was stabbed. Even if you have millions on millions on HP. You would need a heal, healing potion or some kind of special ability to survive that. Well with millions on HP you would survive some seconds longer so its not completely useless to stack HP. Thats why tanks are used", I said while searching for the right book I could give my brother to read. When I found it I said, "And armor stops the blade in front of your body and then you lose some, if not all, of your HP that would have been done to your body. Also, you can''t lose any limbs if you have arm guards or leg guards equipped, but you do lose a limb you stop the bleeding asap because you lose HP per second while the blood is flowing out. Health Regen would stop the bleeding or even regenerate an arm if it is high enough" I then held the book in front of him so he could take it. He looked at the book suspiciously, but took it anyways and said,"Okay, so HP just determines how often I could tank stuff with my armor?" "Yes and no, if your amor is too weak for your HP pool and it breaks or gets cut, it wouldn''t matter if you still had some HP left", I answered. "Hmmmm, okay well then" he said turning around, then, before he closed the door, he grinned at me. After he left I searched the page I was on and started reading again. ---------------Jonah''s POV-------------- So I can''t just put it all into STG and smash them, huh. I then put all my 225 points into SPEED and clicked accept. Instantly it felt like time slowed down if I focused and I could feel that my movements were a lot more efficient. Yeah, I could defenetly play some piano! (Old) 6 Class If you have any questions, then you can ask them in the comments. You can now choose your class
Available class/es - Archer Mage Warrior Berserker Assassin Advanced Mage Dimensional Mage
Depending on what you choose, your future classed will be influenced.
So I probably got Archer from stone throwing...?Mage from using telekinesis, Warrior...? From killing the birds? Berserker... probably from my insane regeneration...? Assassin... probably because the Orc died with one hit. Advanced Mage... I think I got that one from using 2 different magic skills. Is there something above Advanced mage? If yes, then does my Dimensional Storage not count as a magic skill...? NO, I think it has to be active, so Gravitational Perception doesn''t count. Hm. Well, Dimensional Mage is probably from my skills. Even though I was thinking about the classes, it was obvious that I would choose Dimensional Mage. It had an awesome name and it was yellow so it was a legendary class. What else was there to think about? So I clicked in the class to see more information.
Class - Dimensional Mage (Legendary)
This is a class for those that choose to influence matter and space instead of throwing fancy fireballs. Bonus - You get the skills Instant TeleportationandSpace Cutter - Your initiate skills are now 50% more effective
Choose class? YES/NO
Instant Teleportation? Sounds crazy. Maybe I could teleport myself out of this dungeon? All the bonuses looked good but I at least wanted to check the Advanced Mage class.
Class - Advanced Mage (Rare)
This is a class for those that choose to throw fancy fireballs and other elemental skills. Bonus - You get the skill Elemental Magic - Elemental skills now cost 20% less mana
Choose class? YES/NO
The Elemental Magic skill looked pretty self explanatory. I would assume it would just let you throw some fireballs, ice spears and stuff at your enemies. The usual. I then did the obvious and chose the Dimensional Mage class, so I clicked -YES-.
Congratulations
You chose the class Dimensional Mage (Legendary) This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. New skill Instant Teleportation has been added. New skill Space Cutter has been added. Your initiate skills are now 50% more effective.
Instant Teleportation (1/3)
Instant Teleportation let''s you/your items/someone you are touching, teleport from one spot to another in an instant while it is inside your perception range. It also let''s you teleport longer ranges, after channeling it for 10 seconds. You won''t be able to teleport in/out of dungeons.
Active Mana cost - 1000 MP - Cooldown - 12 h for instant teleportation, the long range teleportation doesn''t have a Cool Down
Space Cutter (1/3)
Space Cutter let''s you send a crack in space at your enemies. Space Cutter flies relatively slow but it''s attack strength makes up for it.
Active Mana cost - 100 MP - Cooldown - 1 second
It seem I wouldn''t be able to teleport out of a dungeon, but it was otherwise pretty unfair to be honest. I would be able to do long range teleportations for 15 times in a row and my mana regenerations would charge for around 700 per minute, so I would be able to teleport every minute or so. I tested the skill by trying to teleport to the ground. I activated the skill and chose the ground in front of me as a target. I waited for 10 sec, without moving. Moving would have stopped the channeling of the skill, so I wouldn''t be able to use long range TP(Teleportation) in a fight. After I channeled for 10 sec, my surroundings changed and I was standing on the ground. The cave was still dark and a bit cold, but now that I am fast and have a lot of mana it was time to kill some monsters. Now I just had to test the skill Space Cutter. When I activated the skill I instinctively knew that I had to move my finger in a line and then the cut would fly at my enemies. When I sent it flying it was quite slow but looked scary as hell and produced some strange buzzing sounds. It was around 20 cm long and around a 1 cm wide. When the crack hit the pillar the crack went half way into it and then the buzzing stopping. I assumed the crack vanished, so I thought about how I could use it in a fight. I then planned my fighting strategy. The strategy was quite simple, I just had to run away from the orcs and sent Space cuts into them. Then push them into the wall with telekinesis. ... The next few days I ran through the dungeon and killed monsters on monsters. I kited them to a wall and when I got close to the wall, I used telekinesis to boost them forward and I myself jumped out of the way so they crashed into the wall. While I did that, I also threw space cuts at them whenever it was ready and there was a good point to aim it to. I just had to be careful not to use too much mana while doing that. I repeated the process until they died. When I had to sleep I would long range TP myself onto a pillar and sleep. I felt like shit and without my high WIL stat I would have surrendered multiple times already. I broke several bones and got cuts all over my body while fighting them because I didn''t check out where to step and fell down or I got ambushed. I luckily had my instant teleportation to safe myself, but I almost died multiple times. If it weren''t for my high WIL stat, I would have succumbed under the stress and pain. I always stored the items that dropped from the monsters and the monsters themself. Then, to safe some food I started eating the Orcs and drank their blood... I did that so that I can safe the food for layers without "eatable" monsters. they tasted like raw pig, so it could be worse, but their blood was disgusting. I hope I will get used to it. At first, I threw up most of it while eating, while cutting, and even when I saw my first cuts through the dead bodies I threw up. Fun times. Luckily the mana in the meat and blood was enough of a nutrition replacement. Mana powers the body so, it was some kind of nutrition for the body in one way or another. I repeated the process like a robot for 2 days until I got a useful item.
Strengthening Pill END

The skin/hide from an Orc.
Orc Tusk (rare)
The Tusk from an Orc.
Nothing that was useful for me. ... I fought like a madman and after a week of fighting, I finally got to layer 59 where the boss is. I had problems to sleep and had nightmares about my mother and sister suffering without me several times, so I pushed myself to the limit and ran constantly and even fought multiple Orcs at the same time. I even lost an arm once while fighting my first boss. Never again would put others in front of my lover ones, family would come first. I regretted pushing Jason out of harms way multiple times, never again would I do something so stupid and risk making my family and myself suffer again. My stamina regeneration was so high that I could run all day and I would still be full. Even after I broke several bones and got hit by the Orcs while trying to dodge, my HP regen healed me to full after some minutes and my bones went back into place by themself. After I killed all the 99 Orcs on this layer I went to the Boss-chamber. It was just a big ass double door that was in my way now. I leveled up to level 59 and I was close to 60 with 99% progression. I put all my points into perception every time I leveled up the last week, so that I would be safe while fighting so many Orcs and I wouldn''t fall down or get ambushed anymore. So, my perception range increased to 11 meters and I could feel my surrounding pretty clear now. It felt like I knew something was there or not. I helped against multiple ambushes and I only got hurt when there were too many Orcs and they surrounded me. Every time that happened, I would just try to run to the biggest opening and then I tried to dodge their fists, but something they still slightly hit me and I broke my arm or got a flesh wound on it. But after all that it was time for my first "real" fight against an enemy. Dimensional Mage - Update I honestly didn''t expect so many people to read my story, but I am happy that people read it even if it''s not the best novel. Even I am not happy with it anymore. If you read the review I got on my novel, you know why I am doing what I am doing. I tried too hard to speed through the "Into" dungeon that it doesn''t feel like he is struggling and it doesn''t feel like it''s his first time and reason for that is the Willpower stat. Willpower would make him too strong mentally that he doesn''t panic and keeps his calm all the time. That would make it hard to establish the character of the MC in the early chapters. So I will change Willpower to Wisdom, the only change is that wisdom won''t wtop him from panicking or similar. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it. I won''t make a pussy MC but I will make the start more realistic. I will rewrite the novel. I will also change some stats and the o really mechanics. Nothing too fancy but I still recommend you guys to read the new chapers. I will try to make the new chapters better. I want them to be more from the MCs perspective and I want them to "feel" better. It might take a day or two to update them, but they should be better overall, now that I have some writing experience. Thanks for your understanding and I hope you guys will still read the novel! Thanks and I hope you like my story, because this is my first ever try. ---------------------Jonah''s POV-------------------- It was the usual sunny and hot day, I was walking down the street. The smell of all kinds of street food was lingering in the air and the loud voices of the men and women behind their food carts can be heard on the whole street. Laughing people were waking in groups and I could the smell from sweat and beer from almost every random passerby. You could also see many beggars in the alleyways. In those were many ill looking people living in cartons or sleeping on the ground with trash all over the ground. I tried to ignore them but it was still hard to see them right in front of me. My family wasn''t well off either and I was working as hard as I could so my family wouldn''t end up in those places too. While I was walking through the street I looked up and saw the big shiny information board hanging around 10 meters in the air. The people in front of me were wearing plate armor that reflected the sun, so I had to move to the house walls to be able to see the board. The board showed the newest record on dungeon conquering on Earth. A record of layer 50 was the highest the humanity has every gotten. That was because in your usual 100-layer dungeon, after layer 50 you could only go deeper into the dungeon, so you would have to finish the dungeon to leave it. Humanity still wasn''t ready for that yet. The reason for that was quite simple, their level wasn''t high enough. After the system came to earth humanity was able to see blue boxes appearing in front of them. Those blue boxes showed things ranging from your stats to party members. There was even a new internet. The new internet was quite handy overall, and you were able to share dungeon information online, but most of them weren¡¯t really trustworthy. The information board was now showing the names of the top parties of humanity right now. They were called dungeon conquerors and they were the strongest humanity had to offer. You could read the usual names of Robert Simpson - the blazing mage, Maria Johnson - the bloody berserker and many others. Those were amazing people and they are the new celebrities on earth. Models and singers were still a thing, but who would put a singer before a fireball throwing fire mage? I wouldn''t. Not that I had a choice. After I got my daily fill on my dreams I moved around the crowds of smelly people and hoped for god that the smell wouldn''t linger on me. After I got back on the street, away from the information board, I could finally breath some fresh air and I saw the people around me more clearly. They were the "new humans". Well they were basically new races that came from the system for humanity. On my left I saw female Elf with long ears and a learn body with a bow, probably an Archer. Behind her was a 2 m big hairy Beastman with plate armor, long ears and the usual long nails you would expect from a dog-Beastman. While I was searching for other races I was careful not to look too long, otherwise they would think I was making fun of them. That was because, when the first humans changed their race, many people said stuff like "How can you still call yourself human", "Why should I talk to someone who would abandon their humanity in this crisis?", but that only went on for around a month, because the people with a different race were at least above level 25 and fundamentally stronger than humans and without them we wouldn''t be able to life a safe life. At level 25 you could change your race to the basic ones or you could wait to unlock a rare or even legendary race.If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement. The only way to unlock those races, would be to full fill some strange requirements. The Dwarf for example, could be unlocked by hammering monster materials into trash-items. If you did that for some time, there will be a new race on your race menu-box. I was still human though. I was your usual 1.85 m high and quite fit man. My Hair was as black as the night and my dark brown eyes made me look quite dark overall. My name was Jonah Bellwood and I was 19 years old. I was wearing a black cloth shirt and standard blue jeans. I was sadly not a dungeon conqueror. My mother Catherine, my sister Alice and I were living together in a small flat in the outer circle of the city. The outer circle was cheap because the buildings were so close to the outlands. When the system came to earth, so came the dungeons and monsters. Cities got destroyed, forests burned down and many people lost their loved ones. A week after the chaos started, aliens came to earth and helped to stabilize different cities in the world. My family and I were lucky, because we were near one such city, the new City L, and we were able to survive because of that. Most humans weren''t. There were still times where lone people or groups of people came out of the "Outlands" into the city. The outlands were full of monsters and other abominations that your imagination could offer. The cities were surrounded by high walls made of strong metals, that came from the dungeons, to defend the city. These aliens came to our planet because theirs was destroyed by the monsters, many years after the system came. They didn''t have friendly aliens securing cities and giving them jobs and information about the system. It was quite impressive that they even survived so long. While I was moving through the crowd of people, I got a glimpse of one of them. They once were a race of green frog-like people with 2 arms and 2 legs and they once lived on their own water planet. When the system came, their once peaceful water got infested with abominations and killer-like underwater monsters. They fought back and made many different islands to survive and defend against them, but in the end still lost too many people in the first months and had to escape the planet. They also had different races but their race-changes were different than then ones humanity got. It went from smaller and faster, to more fingers and more flexible. Their races changed their builds overall. The fighters chose the fighter-suitable changes like, smaller head, more hearts, stronger arms and stuff. Their crafters chose stuff from longer fingers to more precise movements. Some of them looked quite ugly but that was nothing I couldn''t cope with in exchange for their help. You could see them standing with weapons at almost every corner. They were watching humans behave. Humans weren''t allowed to use their skills on the streets, they had to use the designated arenas or training halls that were distributed throughout the city walls or go to the outlands. In exchange for the help humanity had to pay them taxes in form of credits or system-gold. Those credits were used all over the universe and gold was from directly killing monsters. With credits you could buy different weapons like a staff for mages of a sword for warriors etc.. When I got near my destination, I saw more and more people wearing plate armor, leather armor and even cloth armor. Those were conquerors, and their class-equipment. A mage in cloth with a staff in hand, an archer with a bow, a quiver and leather armor, a tank with plate armor an iron helmet on their heads, great swords on their backs, a warrior wearing a mix between plate and leather with a sword or two at his hips. I put at least a meter more distance between them and me so that I wouldn''t get in trouble. My own level was 5 and I was weak. I only got to this level because I killed hundreds of monster birds in my neighborhood. Those birds were weak and harmless and at most level 3, so I killed them with my rusty sword in one hit if I was fast enough. After being careful not to bump into the conquerors, I made my way to the 5 m high and 3 m wide double door of the guildhall. The building looked like your usual block building from the outside, with many smaller information boards in front of it and people reading them. Those boards showed ads about new dungeon items and their prices, they were wayy too expensive for me but I would still catch myself looking at them and dreaming of a better future. The price went from 1000 credits to 100 000. That was too much for my monthly income of 2000 credits. Iron plates plastered the whole building from top to bottom and above the door you could read the words "Conqueror Guildhall - L" written in big shiny LED-like lights. I went up to the right door and pushed it open. (New) 2 Dungeons and Quests If you have any questions, then you can ask them in the comments. If you find any mistakes please tell me via PM or write a comment so that I can correct it. Thanks and I hope you like my story, because this is my first ever try. ---------------------Jonah''s POV-------------------- I opened the door and I instantly breathed the cool air that smelled even worse than the passerby¡¯s earlier. It seemed the air was cooled, at least something in this heat, but it still smelled like shit. Luckily, I was already used to the smell of beer and sweat, so that I didn''t mind it anymore. I slowly made my way into the building. On the right side of the room, there were many tables with people laughing and drinking alcohol while wearing armor. You could see many spilled mugs of alcohol on the ground and waiters trying to mop them up while trying not to disturb the conquerors. It was quite sad to watch and the conquerors didn''t care about the pitiful waiters and kept being loud and noisy, but those people were the conquerors of our city so no one could stop them from enjoying their alcohol. The aliens, who could stop them, didn''t care about it. As long as they were paying the extra conqueror-taxes no one cared about a bit of noise. On the left side of the building were 5 counters, where the guild employees work and give out quests and information. Right in front of the door was a massive stairway that went up the building, probably to the sleeping quarters. Many people in armor were walking through the building and I had to watch out so I wouldn''t walk into them. Yes, conquers never walk into someone, someone walked into them¡ I walked up to the ticket machines, that give out a number. With those numbers you didn''t have to wait in a line, you just had to wait for the boards, that were hanging above the counters, to show your number and then it was your turn to talk to the employee. I took my ticket from the plain looking metal box and went to one of the free guild terminals that were on the right side of the stairway and behind the tables. The guild terminals were around 2 meters high and 1 meter wide, the screen started at around a meter from the ground and was implemented into the ground. They basically looked like the ones Mc Donald''s started using before the system came. I never liked those Mc Donald¡¯s terminals, it was difficult so check stuff and they were always used anyways. There were 2 rows of them and they were back-to-back, so basically 5 per row, 2 rows, 20 terminals. I went up to one of the unused terminals, I then put my personal terminal into the prepared slot and started using the terminal. Everyone had their own personal terminal that was basically your personal system, as an object. It was a grey metal stick, with a length of around 10 cm, which you could increase to 20 cm by flipping it open, and it was around 1 cm wide for 10 cm and 0,5 cm wide for 20 cm. With my own terminal inside the guild terminal, I could now access a wider range of data, most were about monsters and dungeons that were in and outside the city, there was also a whole window just for quests, but also general information of the system and other stuff. I just had to use the touchscreen to navigate though the menus. I could only see the information about the dungeon spots and the monsters until layer 20, I could also see the information about the city, like the taxes and stuff. I already downloaded the stuff I could, but to see and download the more valuable information, I would have to pay for it. Quests were updated every day, so there was no point in downloading it anyways.Unauthorized use of content: if you find this story on Amazon, report the violation. I came to the guild hall because I had to deliver some mana crystals from the outer circle to the guild, but I also came here to do a quest. I needed as much money as possible. I checked out the quest I could do, but there was an awfully low amount of them, and the best paying one was inside a dungeon. Everyone could do quests, but only people that were above level 10 could do the conqueror quests, that is, because the guild pays the credits the moment you step into the dungeon, until the quest difficulty was above D, so C upwards. The difficulties went from E to D all the way to A and then S to SSS. That was so that even if you die inside the dungeon, your family or your loved ones still got the money you risked your life for. This wasn''t the case for C+ missions, because they were pretty well paying, but the risk was even higher, so the guild didn¡¯t pay those, so people won''t start suiciding into dungeons to safe their family or something similar. Not that I would have done that anyways¡ There were quests about escorting people, mining mana crystals, bringing monster specific items, killing monsters in the outlands and what not. Most conquerors did killing missions on a layer that mirrors their own level. That was because you level up when you kill 100 monsters on your level, so if I killed 100 level 5 monsters I would level up to be level 6 and so on. I have heard that it will get harder after level 100 but those aliens didn''t say more about it. Dungeons were helpful in that, because most dungeons had 100 layers, some had 200 or even 300, but most had 100. Those dungeons had 100 level 1 monsters on layer 1, 100 level 5 monsters on layer 5, 100 level 33 monsters on layer 33. Pretty easy. The boss was included in those 100 monsters. The boss would be around 30% stronger than the usual monster on that level and was always in a separate chamber. The dungeon quest I could do, was about mining mana crystals inside the dungeon. Mana crystals were what powered the terminals and dungeons. Yes, dungeons. Dungeons respawn monsters in a fixed interval, but what if the layer has its maximum of 100 monsters per layer already? Well, then the monsters will spawn above the ground. Most dungeons in the outlands were like this. To counter this, you had to install a stabilizer next to the dungeon entrance and constantly supply it with mana crystals, so it would stay stable. The stabilizer basically made the dungeon a dungeon. It made it so there wouldn¡¯t spawn more than 100 monsters per layer, the boss of each layer stayed in their chamber and the monsters stayed inside their layer and wouldn''t move up or down. I was quite happy that the aliens bought stuff like that to earth. Without it, we would never be able to safely level and peacefully sleep at night. When I finished checking the quests, I turned around and went to stand near the walls at the door. I breathed in some smelly but cool air and thought for a moment. I always wanted to a conqueror myself but my initiate skill wasn''t useful in fights. It would be nice if I could just do some easy quests, make money and then be happy with my family. I might even become famous? Not that I really cared about that to be honest. It would be nice to fight together with the friends you trusted and make enough money for keep my family going. Now I had to do deliveries though the city and at most I would gain around 2000 credits a month for it. Pretty damn shit. Even my mother had to do some small odd-jobs every day so she could earn another 500 credits. Just so we could life in a small flat. We didn''t even make enough money so that my little sister could go to a dungeon school and have a better future. I just killed monster birds every day with my rusty sword while delivering stuff through the city. After many months of killing monster birds, I finally made it to level 5 yesterday. But in the end that wasn''t enough for a party to take me in. I mean, I could risk my life and go solo, but that would be suicide in itself, there is a reason parties are mostly made out of 5 people. I then put my chin on my upper body, closed my eyes and took another breath of shit air to calm myself down and hope for a better future. Like my father would have said, if the world seems cold to you, kindle fires to warm it... When I opened my eyes again and looked up, I had a positive fire in my dark brown eyes. I then saw that my number just showed on the screen and went to the counter. (New) 3 Initiate skills If you have any questions, then you can ask them in the comments. He was a human man and seemed to be in his early forties, I could see through the glass window that his dark brown hair already started to turn grey in some parts. That was probably because of stress. I wouldn¡¯t call myself a human specialist, but this was an easy case. These employees had to talk to people that could ruin his whole life, just because they didn''t like the way you talked to them, so of course the employees were under constant stress. Conquerors, with a high enough level, had enough influence to pressure several different organizations and if there was a company sponsoring them it was already over once the conqueror made the call. There were several different companies sponsoring conquerors with good initiate skills, they would give them items and social assistance to, for example, raise their popularity or income overall. It was the same system that football players had to wear the logo of their sponsors on their jerseys, it was the perfect walking ad. The conquerors just had to say who their sponsor is in several interviews etc. The conqueror in question just had to sign a contract, that in most cases, said that some percent of the gold and items from dungeons would go to the company and the company has some influence in the conqueror overall. These companies would then form parties from those people and use them to influence the media etc. Most companies have a good reputation, but some companies even scammed the conquerors, that didn''t get a contract from another company, to sign a contract with bullshit conditions like 80% of the gold and items to the company or some other stuff. Well, I didn''t even get one of those contracts, because my initiate skill was completely useless in combat, but still. The guild employee was wearing the blue-suit guild uniform and his eyes seemed to sigh in relief when he inspected me, so I inspected him too.
Audie Johnston Level 17 - initiate skills 1 - Human
General information - Official guild employee, former conqueror.
A blue box then appeared above his head and I read it, and of course his damn name was colored "dangerous". Even the system told me I was weak. For him a must have looked like this.
Jonah Bellwood Level 5 - initiate skills 1 - Human
General information - Works as a courier for the guild.
My name didn''t even have a damn color. I was just a weak as fuck courier working for the guild. There were colors that the system used to categorize the danger of higher level individuals. It ranged from no color to green to orangeto red and then to purple. My name didn''t have a color and his was orange, so I was weaker than him for sure. He sighed in relief because he didn''t have to be scared of me. Not that I would want people to be scared of me, but I at least want them to not think of me as a weakling... When I reached the opening of the window, the man said, with a business like smile and deep and smooth voice, "Welcome to the Frontline-guild, how can I help you?" I pushed my dark thoughts back into mind and powered the positive side of me. I showed a friendly smile and answered in my own, not as deep and smooth, but youthful and warm voice, "Hello, I would like to do a quest" The employee looked at me skeptically but still asked, "Do you have a party, do you want to join one or do you want to do it alone?" I ignored his look and answered, "I don''t have a party and want to join one" "Then please put your personal terminal into the designated slot below the window in front of you", I did as I was told and then waited for a bit. After a minute or so of waiting, the employee nodded and asked, "Okay, Mr. Bellwood, what kind of quest would you like to do?"This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. "I want do the mining quest in the dungeon I saw on the terminal just a minute ago." "Alright, there is a quest in 2 hours and they still need someone to carry the mana stones, do you want to do this one or wait for another?" "I will take that one, yes. I also have some mana stones from gate 3 I had to bring here today, can I finish the job right here?" The employee seemed to check the supplies scheduled for today. When he found the job with my name he nodded and said, "Of course you can, but where are they if I might ask?" "Right here", I said while using my initiate skill dimensional storage. Right next to my right opened a purple rift in space. I put my arm into it and pulled a iron briefcase out of it, the portal then closed again and I faced the employee. The employee seemed to be shocked but his smile never faded from his face. He was a veteran at his job, just like his grey hair teased. Why couldn''t I ever meet someone that already knows my skill and get over with it? At least there was a high change of meeting the veteran again. Everyone that got the system has their own initiate skills. Initiate skills could range from normal elemental skills, like fireball or ice spear, to invisibility or one like my own dimensional storage. One could have 1 - 3 initiate skills. Initiate skills usually awaken when someone reached "pre-adulthood" which was the age of 16 for humans. When their age reached 16, they would then awaken 1 - 3 initiate skills. There were better and worse initiate skills. These skills were not unique, so someone on earth could have a dimensional storage too, but it would be very, very, very difficult to find someone in billions that has the same 3 initiate skills as someone else with 3 of them, same for someone with 2 initiate skills. These skills seemed to be there to help the people fight against the monsters and fight for their survival. Someone that was already above the age of 16 when the system came, would only awaken 1 initiate skill at the start, but these people could still awaken 1 - 2 more if they instinctively use them in certain situations. One could for example awaken a calculator initiate skill while trying not to get scammed or something similar. I tried a lot of different methods but I never got another initiate skill. I was close to giving up several times, but I never gave up in the end. I had to make money, how could I make the most money? By being a conqueror of course, so I always trained with my rusty iron sword every day when I had time, so that when I would one day awaken my skills I could start going into the dungeons and earn money for my family. I put the briefcase into the opening of the window and the employee said, "Thank you, I signed the job certificate as a proof of having received the delivery. I uploaded the quest information into your terminal with the information you would need to finish the quest. Is there something else I could do for you?" I smiled and answered, "No thank you, that would be all." "Alright then, have a nice day.", said the employee with a final smile before looking down at the counter again. I then took my terminal from the counter and turned around to leave, just as I turned around both doors opened and a big man slowly entered. When I meant big I meant big as fuck. The man was at least 4 m high and almost 2 m wide. What the hell? The air around him seemed to be heavy and suffocating and it was like the time in the guild seemed to stop and everyone stopped talking or moving and were looking at the man. The man wasn''t wearing a helmet, so I could see his face. His green skin, arms that reached his knee joints, his upper body that seemed to big for his shorter than normal, but still strong as hell, legs. His whole body was covered in golden armor and the only point that wasn''t covered by it was his head. Did someone invite Hulk? Not that I would ever say that out loud, but now it made sense that the doors were so damn high and wide, there were guys like this Hulk right here. He was one of the nameless aliens, probably a high ranking one. The man walked in like he owned the place, which he probably did, and said with a deep voice that shocked me to the core, "Hello, gentleman. I heard someone did something bad in one of my bars down the entertainment street, so I came to talk to him" He was looking around and was likely searching for the person in question. Even though I knew it wasn''t me, I started to sweat and was trying to make my presence seem as small as possible, which seemed to be the case for everyone inside this building. The small part of my mind that wasn''t crying for Thor to get down here right now, inspected him.
Astaad Level 117 - initiate skills 3 - Nameless species #14862
General information - High ranking guild official, active outland-conqueror.
The rest of my mind then started sending out mental calls to spider man, while 1% kept on watching him walk to the tables. He sat down at one of the grey iron tables in the back, in front of him were sitting 3, drunk and scared, black haired men. "Ahh, there you are. My friend... Ryogi" Astaad said with a friendly smile, while likely reading the name of the man he just inspected. After my own inspection I could tell that the man in the middle was Ryogi, the man on the left was called Kazuki and the man on the right was called Rei, they were all around level 20. They seemed to be Japanese and were happily drinking alcohol until Hulk walked in. Language in itself, vanished with the system. Everyone, that was using the system was talking and writing in the same language, which seemed to be English, but I had no idea. After the system came I was just able to read and hear everything, even if it was in another language before, like it was in English to me. But if I want to, I could still watch Anime with subtitles and Japanese voices. It was strange in itself, but everything that was from or was in contact with the system was strange, I mean look at Hulk right here. Ryogi started to sweat and you could see it slowly flowing down his now pale face. Even though he was drunk, he knew not to be rude to the "friendly" Hulk. Astaad towered the man even while sitting at the table and said, "I heard you hit one of my employees. He had several broken ribs and we had to call an emergency healer to heal his wounds, else he would have died..." His smile was now gone and he was looking Ryogi right into his eyes while towering above him. It looked funny from my view but I highly doubt that Ryogi was having fun right now. I won¡¯t answer questions that would spoiler the story, but I will try my best to answer them in a way that would satisfy your curiosity. Thanks and I hope you like my story, because this is my first ever try. ---------------------Jonah''s POV-------------------- The guild hall was so quiet, you could only hear the heavy breathing of Ryogi and his friends in front of Astaad. Everyone in the guild was listening to their conversation and were trying to be as quiet as possible. Astaad continued, "Because you are my friend, I will be nice to you." He was smiling again and stood up from his seat and everyone in the guild made space for him to leave the hall. "Follow me, we will see what we can do about your little punishment." Silent gasps could be seen though out the building and I knew that it wouldn''t end pretty for Ryogi if he followed Astaad out of the building. High level guild officials, like Astaad, had many more rights than your everyday conqueror, so they could get away with most things as long as it wouldn¡¯t damage the guild in a way. That included murder, yes murder. I never understood why that was a thing, but I am not gonna lie, it was extremely effective to keep some kind of law and order when superman and flash walked around the streets like it was nobody¡¯s business. So, to keep everyone behaving, sometimes there had to be "examples", they couldn''t just let Ryogi go with just some fee. He hit someone that wasn''t a conqueror, as a conqueror himself, that was one of the worst things he could have done. Abusing your power to inflict physical harm, was a no go in the city, if he just called his sponsor or some shit it would have been different, but I think he was just drunk and did something on impulse, which was bad, really really bad. Ryogi seemed to have understood his predicament, so when Astaad turned around, he drew his sword, a katana, which was pretty clich¨¦ to be honest, but badass none the less. With his katana drawn, he jumped at Astaad and tried to slice the back of his head. Just before it hit, Astaad sidestepped to the left and the katana hit the air cm to the right of Astaad''s head. Astaad then lifted his right arm, turned his body to the left and just grabbed the sword at its blade with his hand before Ryogi could pull it back from his swing, and stopped Ryogi in the air. That was fast, I mean, he looked like a tank and didn¡¯t even see the katana and Ryogi seemed to be the fast type of warrior, not that I had enough experience to judge that stuff, but Astaad seemed to be more than meat and muscles. Ryogi seemed to be taken aback when Astaad grabbed his katana, so he struggled in the air to pull it free, but it wouldn''t budge an inch. Before he could try anything else, Astaad pulled the katana and Ryogi flew directly at Astaad, then Astaad let the blade go and with his now free right hand he grabbed Ryogi''s head. His big hand completely surrounded Ryogi''s head, Astaad then said with a cruel smile "My friend, I wanted to be nice to you, so I wanted to punish you in a way your friends won''t have to see it, but it seems like you don''t care about that. It makes me sad that you don''t care that I want to be nice. So as punishment, I will punish you right here." He didn¡¯t look sad, but that didn¡¯t matter to Ryogi or anyone else in the building. Astaad then slowly squeezed Ryogi''s head. Ryogi started to cry and beg, but Astaad didn''t even budge one bit and kept slowly increasing the pressure of his grip until Ryogi just started to flail his katana around to somehow escape Astaad''s grip. It was completely useless, Astaad was a level 117 Tank...? With high level armor, the katana didn''t even scratch it. Ryogi though, was just a level 23 Warrior without a helmet or special items to safe himself. The cries of Ryogi started to become more and more desperate, until all you could hear was some kind of gurgling and blood started to flow down his body until his cries started to die down. I didn''t want to see anymore, so I tried to leave the hall as fast as possible. My legs were weak and my breathing was rugged, I wasn''t used to humans getting killed in front of my eyes. I mean, even the conquerors around me seemed uncomfortable, but I was completely out of it. When I reached the double door, the cries were silent whimpers so I quickly opened the door to leave. This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. I didn''t turn around when I closed the door behind me so I didn''t know what happened afterwards. I was not sure how long I walked around the streets until I calmed down. I threw up my breakfast and then I took a deep breath and tried to keep myself together. If you want to become a conqueror you have to get used to people dying. I thought to myself the whole time until I finally calmed down. I seemed to have walked around the market in circles, so I ended up in front of the guild hall again. The sun was now high up in the sky and the warm sunshine on my skin was somewhat calming, there was no one around the guild hall anymore, most of the conquerors started doing quests, went into the dungeons or other things at that time of the day. There were still some food carts here and there but most of them left for tomorrow or were still in the progress of leaving. I didn''t want to go inside the hall again, so I checked my system for the quest I got. I had to keep making money, I couldn''t stop, even after what I saw in the guild hall today. My sister would enroll into dungeon school in 6 months so I had to make enough money to pay for the tuition fee and other things she needed. I checked the quest while leaning against the warm brickwalls of the weapon store in front of the guild hall. I pushed different blue boxes in front of me, until the quest showed up, I then closed the other boxes and checked it.
Mana Stone Mining Difficulty E
The guild need mana stones with high purity to power the dungeon stabilizers though out the city. Go into the undergound dungeon - Station 17 and mine the high purity mana stones in front of the boss chamber on layer 10. To complete the quest you and your party have to bring 10 mana stones (pure) to the guild hall of the guild hall branches though out the City L
Rewards: 1000 credits for non fighters (you) and 3000 credits for fighters; 1 Questpoint per person
One mana stone (pure) was worth around 2500 credits worth, which would end up being around 25000 credits for 10 of them. Where the quest only gave 17000 credits for 2 non- and 5 fighters. Why wouldn''t they just sell the mana stones itself and earn more money out of it? That was because you could earn 1 Questpoint for the quest. 1 point isn''t much, but if you kept doing this and maybe other higher paying quests you could buy yourself an "initiate skill level up" from the system shop for 1000 points . This level up would then upgrade one of your upgradable initiate skills and this would make it stronger, give it another ability or something else. That was extremely good because skillbooks were expensive. Yes, you could get skills from skillbooks, but you couldn¡¯t upgrade those and they were one time use and cost a lot. You could buy those skillbooks from the aliens, the system shop with gold or just get them from a boss drop. So, when you upgrade your initiate skill you basically get a "free" skillbook, maybe even better. Though, maybe it was just better to sell the mana stones itself when your initiate skills sucked or weren''t upgradable. I would have to ask someone from the party about that tough. My initiate skill wasn''t upgradable, so for me, these points were pretty much useless, unless I get another initiate skill that was upgradeable.
Initiate skill - Dimensional Storage (1/1)
Dimensional Storage (1/1) let''s you store a variety of different items inside your personal crack in space, that you can create whenever and wherever. Can''t store items with more than 10km/h speed; Can''t store living things.
Mana Cost - None; Can hold up to 3 times your MP in kg (300 kg)
I let out a sigh after I opened my skill list and looked at the blue box with my initiate skill in it. Not gonna lie, the skill itself was hella useful for many things, but fighting wasn''t one of them. Maybe I could ask to enter the party, after we finished the quest, and carry all their stuff inside of my storage and in exchange, I would get some small percent of the xp, level up, then leave the party and start going into the low layers of the dungeon myself? Not sure I would want to do that though. I couldn''t just risk my life, what if I happen to die? Then my mother and sister would have to survive on their own and my sister wouldn¡¯t have a bright future and could even die in her first dungeon trip if she didn''t go to the dungeon school and learn how to fight and survive in the dungeons. No, I had to find another way, I had to join a party for real or just work my ass off until my sister was strong enough to help me level up a bit and then we would have to see... -Update- New chapters I have to do some stuff for school, so I won''t be able to upload another new chapter approximately until 25.04.2020. I will delete this chapter when I can start uploading chapters again. This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road.
