《Company of Heroes: Power Fantasy》 Prologue [WWN: The Cosmic Death has claimed 40 billion lives world wide. It is the most lethal virus to date in the 24th Century, running third behind the ''Flu Pandemic of 1918'' and ''The Black Death''. With no cure in sight it is expected the death toll will increase and with no more room on Earth to bury the dead, governmental officials are looking at ''alternatives'' in the outer colonies. The CDC advises those infected to remain indoors and contact-....] "Shit, it''s getting worse back at Earth huh." I got up and turned off the TV and as I went to grab my cup that was on the counter in my kitchen, I coughed violently. I looked down at to see blood on my hand. I got the cup and started making my way towards my computer that was located to the left side of the TV in the room. "I was a fool and an idiot." I silently muttered as I sat down on the chair. I booted up the computer and opened ''Company of Heroes 3: War Never Changes''. I leaned back on my chair and exhaled as the game loaded and glanced to my left to see a brochure that help folks determine if they are infected or not. "The first sign of being infected is a violent cough and blood..... Yep.. " I sighed again and joined a friends game that was already in session with 63 out of 64 players. As I loaded into the match a old friend sent a message on the global chat. [Ballwrecker: Jenkins, Where the hell you''ve been?If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. Jenkins: Isolated. Ballwrecker: Don''t tell me it was from that time you went back to Earth.... Jenkins: Confirmed. Infected. Violent cough and blood. Ten months ago. Not much time left. Might as well go out with a ''bang.'' -sun glassemoji- Ballwrecker: Guys, let''s restart this match and give my man the match of his life. Kiljoy(+61 Players): Ok. -Salute emoji-] [Restart vote in Progress... 64 Agrees. Restarting in 5 4 3 2 1] I grinned and typed a ''Thank you'' to the global chat. As a force of habit I screamed. "Game on!" The game was intense to the point I lost track of time. However by the time the game was finished I noticed a smile I had forgotten the last time I lived back on Earth with my family. I briefly touched my cheek only to pull it back quickly as it brought back some unwanted painful memories. I decided to pull out my phone and sent a text to an acquaintance of mine that heads the ''Moon Colony'' Centers for Disease Control. [To: Corey From: Leeroy Gonna die soon. Prep hazmat team and clean up crew to pick up my dead body. Room code is the same as last time. Thanks for everything.] After I hit sent, I threw the phone to the garbage bin and sat on my sofa as my death bed. If there is on thing the news got right is that the ''Cosmic Death'' death is sudden. The door to my room opened and I saw my friend in full hazmat suit leading what I assumed is both the clean up crew and hazmat crew. I managed to give him a thumbs up and a smile before I lost consciousness, however I managed to hear his voice one last time "Victim, Leeroy Jenkins. Deceased. Positive for ''Cosmic Death''. Alright. Guys you know the drill." Chapter 1: Second Life. ¡°J-kins. W-p¡ Up¡± Something distant was calling his name. At first, he thought nothing of it that is until he began feeling stings from a series of slap coming from multiple sources. As he was slowly coming to, he could hear a bit clearer. ¡°Private Jenkins. Please wake up!¡± Jenkins sprung up to his feet, startling the crowd that gathered around him. Still feeling a bit disoriented due to the sudden blood rush, he put his right hand on his head to keep himself from looking down. He knew something was wrong however he was skeptical if some force of nature was at work. Jenkins quickly recollected the events that transpired before. Leeroy Jenkins who was supposed to be dead to a virus is somehow alive. He never passed through a reincarnation cycle however the possibly of passing though while unconscious is still there. As if by instinct he pulled up the ¡®Inbox¡¯ icon since it has been flashing for some quite time. There he saw one unread message and as he thought about what the content the message was, it opened another window over it. [Mr. Jenkins, It is with deep regret to inform you that you had in fact died in your old world. As for how you got to this new world, I¡¯ll be quick with the details. First off, your soul did go through the reincarnation cycle. The goddess that was in charge and I quote ¡°With all my effort, this soul would not seem to wake.¡± Your case was then handed to me and I got to say, you are one deep sleeper. I do apologize before hand as I quickly took a glance through your last moments without your consent. Your soul was indirectly mixed up in a hero summoning and time isn¡¯t finite. The cheat I gave you is something that you are well familiar and versed in. Well, I did add some of my own touch to it so it could be easily adapted to the system that governs the world you are currently in. I ask nothing of you but live as you see fit. Freyja PS. I also included a journal in your inventory that have all the information you need about this world.] Jenkins chuckled in self amusement as his wild guess was spot on. As he was about to sling his rucksack over his shoulder, he noticed that he gathered quite a crowd. He decided to hold off the self-inspection. One person walked out from the crowd towards Jenkins and courteously bowed right before him. Jenkins tilted one of his eyebrows as the person the bowed was donned in some sort of outfit that screams, ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯. Behind what he assumed is the ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯, was an older fella that have quite some time with his age. The older fella spoke first as the maiden was about to open her mouth. ¡°Thank the heavens! You are alive! Many of the heroes here before you used every ounce of power to bring you back to life.¡±Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. Jenkins rubbed his chin, now recalling the series of slap that was delivered to his cheeks. ¡°So, I assume the series of slap came from all twenty of you?¡± The crowd silently nodded their heads as confirmation to Jenkins deduction. ¡°I see¡ That does explain why I am starting to feel both the stings and the redness that¡¯s coming from there.¡± The old fella grabbed my hand and yanked it low where I almost lost my balance. ¡°Goodness Gracious! I forgot to introduce myself! I am Archbishop Havier acting on behalf of Pope Ferdinando of the Church of Light. And this courteous young maiden is the ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯ Jeanne, chosen by the Goddess Eline.¡± Jenkins managed to get Archbishop Havier grip off from his hand. He opened and closed his hand to make sure there was no internal fracture. He was surprise that the old timer still has that much strength left in him. ¡°I know you got questions but unfortunately we are short on time since the King is expecting the heroes in five minutes. If you may, place you hand on this orb and don¡¯t be startled if it flashes. That device is a tool to measure your magic power and your status.¡± Jenkins placed his right hand on the orb, and it gave off a few odd color flashes. As he removed his hand from the device, he felts a suddenly chill as if someone is staring at him with malicious intent. Unable to locate the source, Jenkins shrugged it off and noticed Havier stroking his chin. ¡°Interesting. Your magic power is interesting. It might be intrusive of me to ask this, but may I see your status? I would like to confirm a hunch.¡± Jenkin tilted his head in confusion since he was never told how to access the so called ¡®Status¡¯. Havier quickly followed up as he noticed the confusion on Jenkin face ¡°Right! You don¡¯t know how to. Just either say or mentally think, ¡®Status¡¯ and it should pop up.¡± ¡°Right...¡± Jenkins silently muttered to himself and as he mentally though ¡®Status¡¯ a window popped up displaying a lot of numbers you could only see in an RPG game. [Faction: United States Forces Name: Jenkins Age: 20 Gender: Male (Evolvable) Race: Human (Evolvable) Level: 1 Class: Rear Echelon HP: 100/100 MP: 100/100 Str: B Int: B Agi: B Mnd: B Luc: S+] As Jenkin saw his status, he noticed that there is nothing outstanding besides the S+ ranked Luck. Since there is nothing to lose, he told the Archbishop his status. Havier continued to stroke his chin while muttering, ¡°I see. I see.¡± ¡°Well now, since everyone has had their status checked. This way please.¡± Archbishop Havier took the lead and left the room with the other heroes following behind him. As Jenkins followed behind, he slid his right hand down to his thigh where he had his M1911 side arm holstered. Using his index finger, Jenkins pushed the Slide lock down. He is still cautious from the malicious intent that he had felt earlier. ¡°Okay, it¡¯s armed and live. Whoever directed that malicious intent is probably still lurking around.¡± As Jenkins muttered to himself, the tour came to an abrupt end as the Archbishop delivered the heroes in front of a very large door that is well adorned. Jenkins glanced both sides of the hallway before directing his attention to the door. He let out a sigh as he realized this is probably going to turn into a hero clich¨¦ from novel books he had read back in his old world. ¡°So. This is probably the Audience Hall where the King, his family and his subjects gather. Now let¡¯s see what this country or empire want us to do.¡± The door opened and Jenkins with the rest of the other summoned heroes entered the Audience Hall. Little did he know of what he is about to embark will reshape himself and the world. Chapter 2: The Short BS Normandy Landing Story As Jenkins and the other heroes entered the Audience Hall, their breaths were taken away at the amount of decorations throughout the room. Right off the bat Jenkins noticed a few gems and metal that also existed back at Earth. The chandeliers in the ceiling had a combination of emerald and ruby gems embedded into the gold frame and it was evenly placed apart. Jenkins was unable to figure about how the gemstones were emitting light. ¡°Those stones must have some sort of magic casted to it.¡± Jenkins silently muttered as he curiously stroked his chin. The room was filled with other people aside from himself and the heroes. Immediate he could tell that most of them were high ranking nobles or military officers just by the way they were dressed. ¡°Dam. Thank god the last few years of studying medieval history had actually helped out for once.¡± As Jenkins thought to himself, he noticed the same ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯ that got cut off by the archbishop back in the summoning chamber is being closely guarded by knights that he could assume is part of some sort of protection detail that answers to the church. Next to the ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯ was the Queen, King and the Princess of the country that had summoned them. The trio were sitting in chairs that were beyond logical proportions. Jenkins decided not to think about anything more that is in the room that he had seen. The King stood up and began his speech that goes with any other hero clich¨¦. ¡°O¡¯Heros! It must be the goddess blessings t-...¡± Jenkins didn¡¯t bother to hear out the rest of the Kings¡¯ speech. He is currently observing his surroundings, still on high alert from the malicious intent he felt earlier. He would resume listening to the speech from time to time. By the time the king finished the speech, Jenkins roughly deduced that him and the others would be sent to the frontlines to combat the invading demon forces that is plaguing the human race and many others. Of course, like many hero clich¨¦s he had read, a demon king is involved. However, this country wanted the heroes to maintain the defensive line until reinforcements arrive from the Eastern Continent which is where the majority of the human race resides along with the headquarters of the church. Archbishop Havier had other plans. He approached the King and knelt down with on knee on the floor. ¡°Your Majesty, maintaining the defensive line would mean nothing if we do not make the first counterattack. It¡¯s a blessing that the goddess answered our prayers with twenty-one heroes. I beseech you to send a small combat force to take the fight to the demons. And I recommend the hero wearing the green clothes to lead it.¡± When the rest of the heroes heard Havier recommendation, some weren¡¯t thrilled at the idea. And there was Jenkins thinking about how bad of an idea that is without proper intelligence on troop movement and supply lines. However, he shook his head at Archbishop Havier¡¯s suggestion at making him the leader of the small force.Find this and other great novels on the author''s preferred platform. Support original creators! The audience with the king ended with a compromise to allow one small detachment of heroes escorted by the church¡¯s knights. The Archbishop and the ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯ left the room to make the report back to their headquarters. As for Jenkins and the heroes, they were treated to a buffet by the King and his family. The nobles and royalty wasted no time to get acquainted with the heroes however some of the heroes took an interest in Jenkins outfit and as a result a crowd formed around him and another around the crowd itself. One of the heroes that introduced himself to Jenkins as Cole went off on a commenting spree. ¡°Oh my god those are real M-1 Helmet, Summer M41 Field Jacket and M1928 Haversack with a shovel in the back!¡± Cole paused and took a sip before continuing his spree. ¡°You even have the HBT Jacket, HBT Trouser, JQMD Cartridge Belt, JQMD First Aid Pouch, JQMD Canteen Cover, and M3 shoulder holster that had been reconfigured to be a leg holster. Nice~!¡± Cole was soon mesmerized by the M1938 Leggings and Service Shoe that Jenkins had to bop his head to bring him back to reality. ¡°Oh sorry. I am quite fascinated by American combat gear in World War II. Pardon me if I came off rude with this question but how was the beach landings?¡± Jenkins stopped to quickly work up a cover story to make his World War II origin authentic. ¡°Well Cole, Omaha was bloody. First landings were close to obliterated with second wave coming behind. Those Krauts were determined bastards, held the line to their last breath. They took out a lot of my boys, not a fond memory however we did what we needed to do. We fired at them, burned them and hell we even brawled them to the last one standing. When evening rolled around, the beaches, the bunkers and the roads were all filled with corpses¡.¡± Jenkins paused and took a sip from his cup before finishing up his story. ¡°Orders came from the top and we were needed deep inland to relief an airborne division. That¡¯s when the bright light obscured my vision.¡± After his tale, Jenkins was then pulled into a noble crowd shaking their hands and at the same time learned about their occupation. In the middle of the conversation, Jenkins felt another shiver that wasn¡¯t filled with the same malicious intent. He was unable to find the source however he knew something bad is going to happen. It was around midnight when the gathering ended with the nobles returning to their territories and the heroes to their sleeping quarters. The maid was about to leave Jenkins alone to his room, but he quickly asked her to close the light for him. After the maid left, Jenkins inspected the luxurious room and located a few places that serve as good ambush spots. He went to the bed and made a dummy decoy by putting two pillows underneath the blanket to make it apparent someone is sleeping in it. He then approached the wardrobe that is adjacent to the bed, opened the door and squeezed himself in there. As Jenkins slowly closed the wardrobe door, he left a small crack so he can see the dummy. Almost a couple hours had passed by and Jenkins was about to doze off into dreamland until he heard a slow crack sound of the door opening. On que, he drew his M1911 with his right hand from his leg holster and took aim through the small opening of the wardrobe door. Holding his breath, Jenkins slowly slid his index finger to the trigger. Chapter 3: The Opening Act Jenkins maintained a high level of alertness and as he slowly readjusted his breathing, he noticed the silhouette of the intruder coming into view. The intruder approached the bed, hands on the blanket. Jenkins closely observing the hands of the intruder. He did not see any weapons and just as he was about to get out of the wardrobe the sound of the door opening again put him back on alert. He was able to hear one of the two parties talking and it wasn¡¯t the kind he wanted to get involve in right from the get-go. ¡°Well. That complicates our mission. Talk about being at the right place at the wrong time¡.¡± Jenkins recognize that voice as it belonged to the maid that escorted him to his chamber from earlier. However, the next voice wasn¡¯t familiar to him. ¡°W-who are you? Wait you¡¯re the castle maid! Why are there four knights behind you? What are you talking about?¡± The next part coming from the maid raised a red flag for Jenkins. ¡°Man. I really hate getting my hand dirty with Maiden blood, but a job is a job. Alright boys restrain her and make her outfit messy. I¡¯ll deal with the hero¡.¡± Jenkins noticing the tone change coming from the maid knew something is off and prepared his combat form. There were scuffling footsteps followed by a brief commotion as the maiden attempted to run but she was overpowered and quickly subdued by the four knights. ¡°Let me go! If the church or the King hears of this-¡¡± The maid scoffed and quickly retorted back. ¡°Then why isn¡¯t help coming by the noise you are causing?¡± The maiden gasp as she realized the hint that the maid gave her. ¡°No¡¡± Jenkins taking that as his que to step in kicked the wardrobe door wide open, briefly stunning the maid and her accomplices. While his right arm was pointing at head height, fired off his M1911 at the knights in rapid succession. The four knights were immediately killed as the bullets penetrated into their brains causing some blood to fly out in all directions. As their body laid lifelessly on the floor, blood continued to leek out from the small hole. Jenkins quickly took aim at the maid and fired to which the maid evaded. She vaulted to the other side of the bed, Jenkins timed his leading shot and fired the last two bullets in his magazine. As the maid gunned straight towards the window to make her escape, Jenkins saw that his shot hit her left arm and right chest. Not a fatal shot, but it¡¯s a way for him to easily tell if he were to meet his target again. Once the maid shattered the window with her entire body, the castle bustled with commotion. From there Jenkins could guess that there were some false in her claims. Which he believed it to be the latter. However, nothing could be proven with absolute certainty therefore Jenkins decided to investigate the assassination attempt and the ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯ which happened to be at the right place but at the wrong time. The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation. ¡°A hit like this isn¡¯t easy to pull off. There must be an insider helping them, but why me out of all the other heroes here.¡± Jenkins muttered silently to himself, still baffled as to why he is the first one to be targeted. He thought about the malicious intent he felt from before and guessed that it could be related. But first thing first, Jenkins made his way to the ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯ to check her for any injuries. Jenkins carefully looked at the place where the knights manhandled her. He saw that there were some bruises on her wrists and cheeks. There wasn¡¯t anything too life threatening caused to her, but he patched the ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯ up since the damage were superficial. After Jenkins completely patched the ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯ up he led her back to his bed. He urged her to sit and to rest after the brief hell she experienced. Jenkins sat down next to her and took the initiative. ¡°What¡¯s your name and what is it that made you to come to my room?¡± The ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯ got up and knelt down one leg in front of Jenkins, confusing him. ¡°I am the ¡®Valkyrie Maiden¡¯ of Freyja, Gunhild. I had received an oracle of your arrival and I am to be your guide. I originally planned to have us leave this castle unseen but the incident with the assassins will make it more difficult.¡± Jenkins tiled his head sideways as he never heard of a ¡®Valkyrie Maiden¡¯ before. He originally thought that Gunhild was a ¡®Holy Maiden¡¯. He had a lot of question he wanted to ask but time is running short if Gunhild is here to retrieve him from the castle, then it means this country isn¡¯t safe to linger around in any longer. He looked at Gunhild and at the broken window. ¡°So, you say you are here to get me out of here. You got a destination?¡± Jenkins spoke to Gunhild as he peeked out of the window and grinned at a crazy idea. Gunhild looked at him and pointed at the horizon towards the West. ¡°The mountains where the Valkyries resides¡± Jenkins gestured Gunhild to come over. ¡°Then come on. Let¡¯s go!¡± Jenkins decision to follow Gunhild would be marked as the first hero casualty in the war against the demons. The next day when it was announced to the public that a hero had perished under unnatural circumstance, Archbishop Havier expressed his deep sorrow at the loss of the soldier hero. However under his sorrowful expression lies a small subtle grin on his mouth. Chapter 4: On the Road It¡¯s already been a few days since Jenkins and Gunhild hauled ass out of the country. During the first day, they came across their first town and since they were not sure if they were being pursued. Gunhild decided it was best for her to arrange transport and food while having Jenkins wait on the other side of the town. Since Jenkins stood out way too much with his WWII combat gear, he realized the greenery blended him right into the scenery. He grabbed out his binoculars to scan the surroundings for pursuers. After Gunhild acquired the transport along with food, she rendezvoused with Jenkins a few miles down the road from the town¡¯s gate and resumed heading east. The second day it was Jenkins first time to engage in combat. Not the kind of virtual combat that he was used to, but the kind he knows will end up happening soon. Gunhild sat on a rock in a small clearing of a dense forest watching Jenkins and wolf staring at each other. ¡°Remember. Everything should be second hand to you. Just breath and think.¡± Gunhild is giving Jenkins some advice on how to use the system and she felt a bit worrisome as Jenkins outfit was riddled with bitemarks that belonged to the wolf. Jenkins already new how the system works but the issue currently at hand is that he never fired a live gun before so the recoil that follows caused him to miss the wolf. ¡°I know! Gunhild, just let me have some quiet.¡± Jenkins decided to take a quick trip back down memory lane since he recalled having watched a documentary of the M1 Garand, the rifle that won World War II. He realized that the way he was griping the rifle was wrong along with the trigger response. ¡°Ok. Ok. I need to firmly grip it and fire it at control burst. And mostly importantly control my breathing.¡± Jenkins raised the M1 Garand and controlled his breathing. An aim assist icon popped up as he aimed down the sight at the wolf. Wasting no time, Jenkins fired the rifle and the wolf evaded to the left in response. He quickly fired a follow up shot in the direction the wolf evaded to which nailed it at the neck, thus killing the animal.Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. Gunhild was impressed at how quickly Jenkins adapted to the situation and gave him a clap. ¡°Nice job. Pvt. Jenkins. There will be tougher enemies as we continue our journey east to the mountains. I hope you are prepared.¡± Jenkins spent the rest of the second day going through his rucksack and his equipment. After confirming that his gears are still good, he called it a night and slept in the wagon that Gunhild had prepared from the previous town. The next town, according the Gunhild is the Port of Clive. Gunhild planned to restock on supplies and a new wagon. Jenkins thought it would the same plan from the first town but Gunhild needed him to sign up as an adventurer in order to pass through a checkpoint that¡¯s between a fortress town and their destination. Jenkins asked Gunhild the reason of her decision. ¡°Just recently, an order was issued to that adventurers are allowed past the checkpoint.¡± With Gunhild reply, Jenkins knew something big is happening if the order was issued and continued to ask more. ¡°From what I overheard from the last town, there were reports of increased monsters and demon¡¯s activity. If I were to guess, a demon general is probably there. But nothing to concern about. I know a shortcut that¡¯ll cut our journey by a few days early.¡± Jenkins noticed Gunhild fidgeting her thumbs and tilted his head sideways. Gunhild saw Jenkins response. ¡°Well. Adventurers who were patrolling the forests saw a demonic being with black wings wielding a bow and arrows. If that is who I think it is¡ Our journey might be a lot more difficult that is if that being knows about the shortcut. Gunhild got up and left the wagon, leaving Jenkins alone. If they ended up crossing path against the demonic being that Gunhild feared, Jenkins realized he need to come up with contingency and fast. Jenkins took off his rucksack and started taking items out of the sack. ¡°Ok. I need this. That as well. O-hoho more bangs for your bucks¡.¡± One item caught Jenkins eye and a grin formed on his mouth. ¡°Now this, THIS puppy is more like it! But how the fuck did it even fit in that small ass rucksack?¡± Jenkins reached his right hand into the rucksack and as he felt the surface of a large ordnance, he cackled meanly. ¡°Small arms and big arms. I think I found my contingency plan.¡± Chapter 5: The Adventurers Guild Incident. By dawn, Jenkins and Gunhild reached the Port of Clive. They needed to pass through the gate, at first Jenkins thought Gunhild payed the fee from the first town however he guessed wrong. Gunhild took lead and as she was stopped by the guard for the fee payment, she took out an emblem that was worn around her neck like a necklace. When the guard saw it, he politely bowed to her and gestured to move along inside. Jenkins was momentarily confused as to what he had witnessed. There was stuff they both needed to do so he decided to save off the questions for later tonight. The first place Gunhild lead Jenkins to was the Adventurers Guild. Gunhild was running through the basics to Jenkins as he was filling out the adventurers application. ¡°The form is pretty straight forward. Your name, Age and class are the important parts of the form that they will look at. If you are underage, your application will be denied. As for your class it would best to put ¡®Rear Echelon¡¯ and list out some abilities below with a short description of what it does.¡± Pulling up his status window to reference, Jenkins tried his best to fill the form and bullshitted a few of the abilities. [Name: Jenkins Age: 20 Sex: Male Class: Rear Echelon Skills: Double Time: Sprint speed increase by x2 and stamina recharges faster. Semtex: A Mk 2 Grenade stuffed in a long wool socks, laced with Coaguline Cement. Can stick on any surfaces and destroy any medium grade defenses. Fuel Cache(Shovel): Build on a standard owned resource pile to generate steady income of Fuel.] Jenkins showed his finished from to Gunhild to see if she detected anything that he had written wrong. ¡°Is this really what your status shown you?¡± Gunhild asked Jenkin while looking at the skills portion. ¡°Those are some bullshit skills if I¡¯d even seen one. Some I don¡¯t even know what it even does.¡± Gunhild handed Jenkins form back to him and as he was able to get up to head back to the guild receptionists, Gunhild gave Jenkins some advice. ¡°If possible, fight with your shovel instead of that ¡®thing¡¯.¡± Jenkins holstered his M1 Garand and took his Shovel out. The guild receptionist went over a few details on the from to confirm that everything on it is validated. The she showed Jenkins to the back where beginner adventurers are tested on their strength. He paused to self-reflected on himself. ¡°Eh? My strength can¡¯t be that strong.¡± Shrugging his shoulders, Jenkins went inside the training chamber. Gunhild, while waiting for Jenkins to come out from there received another oracle from Freyja. ¡°The village where your destination lies are in danger. Make haste as a Maiden is caught in the crossfire.¡± A noisy ruckus could be heard coming from the training chamber. Feeling a bit worried, Gunhild decide to enter the training chamber to check on how Jenkins was faring. What she saw was the training floor blown to pieces, the ¡®Warrior¡¯ instructor knocked out and Jenkins dumbstruck at the destruction before him. Gunhild unintentionally leaked out. ¡°Jenkins¡ What did I say about self-restraint?¡± Jenkins while still fazed stumbled on his explanation. ¡°Y-yea. Um. That warrior came at me like a train on full speed, saying something about me having a warrior resolve after I counter him a few times with my shovel.¡± Gunhild face palmed knowing that she would have to give the guild master an explanation without exposing the identity of Jenkins. She approached the injured warrior and casted a healing spell on him. ¡°Angelic Harmony.¡± Angelic Harmony, a special spell exclusively to devout followers of Freyja. It had been said that the spell can heal and cure any aliments. A few posses this skill and those who do posses it are known to be acknowledged by her as her mortal realm Maidens. The warrior jolted up awake after Gunhild completed her spell. She waved to get his attention. ¡°I apologize for the destruction that my pupil had caused. I hope this amount is suffice to cover the reparation cost.¡± The warrior looked at Jenkins and then at Gunhild. ¡°Uh. Yes. That¡¯s more than enough. And that monster passed.¡± As Jenkins was making his way towards Gunhild, he retorted. ¡°Oi. You were coming at me with the intent of blowing me to smithereens.¡± Gunhild asked the warrior again. ¡°He passed?¡± ¡°Yes. He passed.¡± Gunhild then grabbed Jenkins arm as he was about to stop walking and immediately ran out of the training chambers and out of the Adventurers Guild as Jenkins was screaming in the background. ¡°WHAT THE F- THIS SPEED!???¡±
