《Reincarnated genius》 Chapter 1: My life Hey, it your friendly neighborhood hobo here. My name is Larry Smith. I am a hobo living in Chicago Illinois. I was kicked out of the house by my parent in California when I was 24. Wondering how I got to Chicago? To answer that I hitchhiked on a train going here. It has been 18 year since I¡¯ve been a hobo so I¡¯m currently 42. Life has been hard, but I managed to find a job at a graveyard and a junkyard, I¡¯m good on food and water for Now. ~~~~ ¡°Hey! Larry what¡¯s up! Got anything from the junkyard!¡± (Mr Walter) ¡°Hey Mr Walter. I thanks again for letting me look through the place, and I did find a cooking set.¡± (Larry) ¡°No problem! You saved my granddaughter from committing suicide so it is only fair.¡± (Mr Walter) Mr Walter¡¯s granddaughter tried to commit suicide last year. I saw her trying to fall off a bridge and ran to stop her. She tried to make me let go of her, but I said no and told her why she shouldn¡¯t let go of her life just like that. I took her back to my house at the bottom of the bridge and asked her where she lived, she said she ran away from home 2 days ago and that her family wouldn¡¯t care, but I took her back they were very grateful. Now she is studying of in a high classed high school with her friends¡­..good times. I head to the store after I finished my work at the junkyard yard, if I¡¯m not mistaken they are having a sale on ramen¡­.delicious!! I entered the store and went to where the ramen noodle were. ¡°What should I get today...ah let take chicken noodles and beef this time.¡± (Larry) I went to the checkout line, bought my noodle and headed home. ¡°Only got 20 bucks left¡­.should save up on some more.¡± (Larry) Only got little more money left..this means more hunting for food at night. ~~~~ ¡°Ahh home sweet~¡± (Larry) My home is at the bottom of a bridge. The wall is the bridges suspension and the roof is the bridge itself. I put down the bag with the ramen on the floor and went to lit the fire. Since I got my new cooking set from the junkyard I don¡¯t need to use a restaurants ramen making machine. I put the pot on the fire and put water in it, I waited a while until the water was hot and added the ramen. 3min later it was ready, I took my fork and started to eat while reading the newspapers. The news for today talked about the newest TV, cars, and others crap I won¡¯t be getting anytime soon. I finished eating my ramen...time for bed! Ah I jump onto the pillow on the floor and covered myself with the cover I found 2 weeks ago and slept. Just when I was about to sleep I heard a cracking sound...I most just be the people who walk here at night. What Larry didn¡¯t realize the cracking sound he heard was the bridges pillar breaking. ~~~~ It was morning! Ahh that was a good sleep time to go to work. My work considered of junkyard in the morning, graveyard in the afternoon, and back to junkyard fun right. At the junkyard today I had to take the new trash to the correct pile or just separate metal from plastic. ¡°Hey Larry, just finished with this pile you can take over the one over there.¡± (Duch) ¡°Sure thing Duch¡± (Larry) Duch is my co-worker his shift starts earlier than mine though. ~~~~~ ¡°Mr Walter I¡¯m done with my shift for today see you tonight.¡± (Larry) ¡°Yeah.¡± (Mr Walter) Finished my shift at the junkyard, so I headed to the graveyard. My job there consisted of burying the dead. The graveyard I work at is by a church so when I finish my job I pray for all the people I buried, cause why not they were people too. I also pray that god could make my life better even if it¡¯s just a little. ~~~~ I just finished my work at the junkyard and headed home. ¡°Have to conserve food so no eating today. Well bedtime. ¡°Crack!!¡± ¡°Hmm there it is again, those people need to stop doing that.¡± (Larry) ([Author: dude that¡¯s the bridge breaking!! Move!!]) ~~~~ As Larry slept soundly the bridge finally collapsed. Mr Walter was walking to Larry house when the bridge collapsed, panicked he called the police to find Larry. The police that were there rescued all the people that were trapped in the debri of the bridge, but Larry was found dead under the bridge. Mr Walter and his family wanted to bury his body together when his granddaughter came so they asked to keep it in the hospital, but Larry¡¯s body was nowhere to be found a week later. ~~~~ Chapter 2: WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO ME!!! And test!! ¡°Ahh I¡¯m bored, I need to do something¡­..oh no Larry died hmm I guess I could make his prayer come true.¡± (God) ¡°But to make it interesting I will remodel his body...or should I say her now...hehehe.¡± (God) ~~~~ ¡°Morning!!¡± (Larry) I got up from my floor bed. ¡°Uhh...I hurt more than usual today¡­.wait a minute what¡¯s wrong with my voice!¡± (Larry) My voice was way higher than usual and why does my chest feel so heavy... uhh([Author: umm yeah my sister wrote that]). I was trying to figure out why I am in so much pain, when I realized there was something in my hand. ¡°A letter?¡± (Larry) There was a letter in my hand, I looked on the back of it and it said from: GOD¡­.from god¡­.is someone playing a joke on me or is this real? The letter states: Dear, Larry/Eli You died from the bridge you were under, so I reincarnated you! Don¡¯t be mad at me for changing your gender too. I was bored, so I made you into a girl!! Don¡¯t freak out yet though, I also gave you lots of talent so use them well! First I checked every corner of my body I was still wearing my ripped shirt, my black pants and the jacket I found in the junkyard with the cover, but you could see the feminine body shape¡­ ¡°Nooooooooooohohohoho¡­...whyyyyyyyy!!¡± (Eli) ~~~~~ I sat on the floor crying for hours before finally realizing that I couldn¡¯t do anything about it so I read the other letter. Hey GOD again! I assume you read the other letter already, but this letter is about this world and yourself. Anyways let¡¯s get started!! This world is more advanced than your own as I¡¯ve mentioned. This worlds tec is developed enough to the point where starships and space war are possible. The currency for this world is in credits, a credit in US dollar is 10,000 bucks, you can find the rest out on your own! As I have mentioned before I gave you lots of talent basically you are and expert in all science fields for example you have all engineering skill, you know all theOlogies, life science, space science, and your get the idea your basically a genius amongst the geniuses! Any how I have also given you all martial arts mastery and all weapon mastery which include guns. I also gave you lots of other talent but you can find them yourself. BTW I changed you actions to that of a 15 year old girl, also colored hair is common in this world. Well good luck in this world I will not be talking to you or send a letter any time soon to you anymore and if your wondering why I didn¡¯t give you an actual house is because I gave you lot of things except the history of this world¡­.you would have to learn this by yourself!! Before I could do anything else I looked through all my thing that came with me and found a mirror in it and looked at myself, staring back at me was a 15 year old girl with pink hair and blue highlights, they seem to be my real hair. My right eye was a bright electric blue color as if it was the night sky, while my left one was a hot pink color. So this is what god remodeled my body to be it¡¯s going to take a while to get used to these feelings though. ¡°Giggle¡± (Eli) ~~~~ I stayed in my home for today and the next day after waking up and praying to god, I took my first look outside. I opened the curtains that keep my house dark and looked out¡­ The scenery was just mind blowing¡­.there were lot of colorfullight, flying car zipping on top of me, and there was tree and greenery everywhere ¡­... uuhhh beautiful!! I was still under a bridge, there were some homeless who also camped down here like me. As I was taking my first look at this world I ladybug came and landed on my hand rather than calling it a ladybug it¡¯s scientific name is Coccinellidae. There are over 5,000 species. Ladybugs, if threatened can also¡ª-wait wait wait! How¡­.well now I know the talents god gave me are working. After I saw the ladybug I instantly knew lots about it¡¯s like I¡¯m google! Any ways it time to explore the place! I left my home and scaled the slope leading to the streets. I got on the street and went a random way. The building they have are huge though...some are even floating!! I went into the stores and any building allowed to the people. There were lots of different technology that were definitely way more advanced than my worlds. Heck even the shopping trolley are advanced! I looked around more and found a screen that shows a very interesting image the images shows or says that the test to get into Astral academy would be held in 2 hours at the testing center everyone is invited, there were also sheet of transparent paper that shows the map for were the test would be held and info on what Astral academy is, apparently it an academic were only the smartest can get in and you can¡¯t pay your way in. I decided to head over to that place and see how the test go and at least try to pass it. It could be a test to see if am really that smart...not that I doubt god though. thetesting center was full of people right now some of which are form real rich family and other family. There were also a little amount of people like me...hobos¡­ I walked into the crowd of people and waited for the doors to open. ¡°Uhh...why are people like you doing in a place like this? This is a place for people that are actually educated and don¡¯t live on the streets.¡± (???) ¡°......¡± (Eli) There are lotsof people like this girl in my old world and it was my bad for thinking that there weren¡¯t any in this world people like her is alway around. ¡°Well if you don¡¯t want to talk that¡¯s fine I mean everyone knows that I¡¯m Chloe bane and they wouldn¡¯t dare contradict me anyways take my advice and don¡¯t imbarrass yourself by taking this test. Haha¡± (Chloe) Chloe left with her two goons following her to go harass someone else. Now I have to pass this test and shut her up¡­.hate people like you. The doors to the testing center finally open after a long while, and everyone there poured in. Then the announcer started talking ¡°Hmm, hello everyone and welcome to Astral academy¡¯s qualification test! I hope you do your best for it is not easy to pass this test¡­.and only the people to score an 80% or above get into the academy. Without further ado go choose a testing room and good luck!!¡± (Announcer) Everyone went to a room they wanted to, but before that there parents were telling them good luck¡­.my parents aren¡¯t here¡­.but anyway! To the test! The testing room was a room with no windows and cameras everywhere, there where robot going about. The test was paper which surprised me I thought they would give us computers or something, but we were told that it was so the test couldn¡¯t be hacked. The test book was 2 inches thick!! And we were given 20 hours to finish it...basically an entire day! You were also given a break every 5 hours. ¡°Okay all of you would be taking the Astral academy qualification exam today. Do your best and try to do as many questions as you can. I will be your monitor for today¡­.without further ado start!!¡± (Teach) Everyone else had started taking their test while I was still thinking. I am never going to finish this...it too big!!.....no I have to at least try. I took a deep breath, graded my pencil and opened the test as soon as my eyes landed on the first question I answered it with all the work and an explanation on how I got this answer, I kept on doing that for the rest of the test. To be honest I was writing too fast some people had stop for a second and looked at me with wide eyes as if saying,¡¯how can you write that fast and are you even going to pass!!.¡¯ I am surprised at how fast I get the answer I mean when I haven¡¯t even read the question I knew what the answer was. ~~~~ Done!!! I finished my test in almost an hour and a half and called the teach over. ¡°Your already done!?! Are you sure you still have like another 19 hour?¡± (Teach) He has a point so I checked it again 5 time and turned it in 2 hour later. When I was done the instructor took my picture and my name and taped it on my test then gave it to the robot. He told to go home and come back tomorrow when the results are out. I left the center and took a map of the city form the city guide box. This map shows you your location when you walk it is like a google map and not only that it is made with the same properties as paper!! I went to the parks and playground. I tried looking or searching for a junkyard like the ones in my old world but I ended up finding out that the junk are collected and taken to a trash planet. I had a bit more exploring and then went back to my home under the bridge and ate food the. Went to bed¡­.I hope I pass so I can get a better life than this even if it just a little better. chapter 3: the test results Morning came, and I went back to the testing center. When,I arrived there were not a lot of people since it like 4 in the morning. Oh interesting facts there are 28 hours in a day and there are 40-41 days in a month and there are 18 months in a year, got this info from the people around my home for some of my stuff. I waited there while messing around with all the helping tools for people, I couldn¡¯t help it I was curious. The door to the testing center open 4 hours later when everyone had arrived to see the scores. We were all directed to a room with rows upon rows of seats for people and were told to seat down. ¡°Okay the system has graded your tests and there were 500 people who qualified this year here is the score starting from the 500th. If you didn¡¯t make it practice more for the one next year.¡± (Announcer) The screen started to display people¡¯s name, picture, gender, score, and placement one by one¡­. Man I wish my mom and sister were here to see me now!! ~~~~ ¡°Okay since we are done with the qualifiers the rest of you who didn¡¯t make it have a chance in 2 months since the astral academy school year starts in 3 month so good luck till then. And shopping for the first time as a girl!! As, I was walking toward the directors room I noticed the door were guarded by security officers in a full metal suit...although it titanium. There were sound coming from the inside of the directors room¡­ ¡°This can¡¯t be true!! I was supposed to be first!! Don¡¯t you know who I am!! When I was done Amanda was waiting impatiently to take me to the mall and us me as her dress up doll. When we went through the mall I couldn¡¯t help but be surprised...it places is huge! There are colors dancing everywhere and vegetation! When I picture a future on earth there would have been no vegetation! The first place Amanda took me was a bathhouse. She said before we could get clothes for me I need to be clean. Wait a second¡­.doesn¡¯t that mean¡­. I¡¯m not a pervert! Stop this please!! ~~~~ I think this was the hardest time of my life, getting undressed with lot of other girls in the room¡­.even though I¡¯m a girl now I was still a grown man before! Amanda walked around picking lots of different things, while the girly actions god put in me were in full overdrive¡­.by this I mean all the cute things attracted my attention. I had already picked up 1 fluffy bunny rabbit, a teddy bears, and 2 wittle birdies and was hugging them so tightly Because they were sooooooo cute!! ¡°Okay I got everything we need and¡ª¡ª¡° (Amanda) Amanda looked at me hugging the 4 stuffed animals and took a picture of my with them. ¡°So going on my front screen!!¡± (Amanda) ¡°Noooo you better not!¡± (Eli) ~~~~ After Amanda refused to take my photo off her front screen, I tried on all the clothes she picked out for me, some of the hips for the pants were too big for me so we dropped those and after a while we finished buying everything. The Astral Academy were sent a signal from their scout team, it seems there is a battleship heading their way. I went to my car and drove it to the mall, I should really put it in the garage with the others¡­ I went all the way to the teleporter some was away from my house and it teleported me to the city. There I saw four space travelers landing at the ports, we were supposed to arrive with them but due to the inconvenience, we didn¡¯t. I went all the way to the mall and parked the car. I stayed in the with one of my plushies while watching a video on Yo*Tube. Yes, Yo*Tube is here too. I know of it because I used to watch it when I was about ten years old. Some time later It was finally 12:30. I got out of the car with my purse and walked to the front of the mall and waited, then¡­ ¡°Emilia!!!¡± (Erica) Erica hugged me from the back as I was waiting. ¡°Hey Erica.¡± (Eli) ¡°Come on! Weaving through the crowd, we made our way to the movies where everyone was waiting. Then we all went into the theater to watch the movie. In side movie theater were rows of seat like any other movie theater, but the twists is that the entire ceiling is the screen. The movie we were watching is called Zombie Ark Two. It is a movie where zombie have infested a world and the ones who caused it are trying to find a way to stop it. But the zombies quickly mutate, create an empire for themselves, and are now waging war on the people there. Cool, it sounds like a fun movie! People started heading to the arenas while we followed close behind. I was still crying on Erica¡¯s shoulder while she comforted me, I am so weak when it comes to these things¡­. Chapter 11: MECH BATTLE The arena was just like any old arena with seat, surrounding the battle area. Except the battle area is also shielded by a force field that will stop any of the broken shards of metal or any other material from going out. If you wanted to you, could even change the terrain of the arena. We all decided to do a team battle, four people to a group. Erica and I were paired up with Cole and Alec. Cole has black hair with streaks of orange in them, while Alec¡¯s is all green with little dashes of blue In total there was five groups with two having an extra member. Once that was done we went into an area where we get the mechs ready for battle. Finished remodeling it yesterday. I have to say the same for all of yours too.¡± (Eli) Alec¡¯s mech was giant, green, heavy, equipped with two large cannons, rifles on it¡¯s head and sides, and a massive magnetic plasma sword. Cole¡¯s mech was black as the darkness of the abyss, it shape was that of a wolf and had razor sharp claws, and teeth that could tear you apart. A wolf built for assasination. Erica¡¯s mech had a humanoid shape like mine with propulsion engines on the back. The mech was red and armed with a 45GH type assault rifle. We got our mechs loaded with anything they need, got into the cockpits, and went onto the arena where the others were waiting. In the arena were mechs of all kinds and colors. ¡°So what is the terrain that we are using?¡± (Eli) I asked Cassy through my mech¡¯s communication system. ¡°Hmmm, the old factory! There¡¯s lots of hiding spots there!¡± (Cassy) The map Cassy choose had the scenery of a factory taken over by nature, but she¡¯s right, there are lots of hiding places. Our groups each went to their starting area. When they were all there, the scenery changed to that of a destroyed factory, the buildings that once surrounded us were now gone and replaced by clear blue sky. This made the safety system activate and Lucy and her mech were teleported back to the prep room. She won¡¯t be allowed in the game till it¡¯s completely over. The others also finished and we continued to our next target. ~~~~ Battle raged on for a while till it was only my team of four and Chloe¡¯s team of five. ¡°Five against four¡­.like that¡¯s fair.¡± (Alec) ¡°Oh Alec, it¡¯s only a one person difference.¡± (Erica) Chloe¡¯s group was composed of her, Mark, Lucifer, Cassy, and Jackson. Chloe¡¯s and Jackson¡¯s mech were yellow while the others were blue. Use the distortion field!¡± (Chloe) Cassy¡¯s dad is an inventor who created a field that stops all mechs and drones from working. That basically means it shuts them down, but they have to be within the field¡¯s range for it too work. Cassy used the distortion field, so us and our opponent¡¯s mechs stopped in their tracks. In front of Jackson was a mech that seems to have been built for speed, that must be Emilia. Cassy destroyed all the drones before they could reanimate themselves, but eventually our mechs started to come back to life. **Eli¡¯s POV** ¡°Man! Totally not expected this!¡± (Cole) ¡°Cassy can now shoot us with that bow, what do we do?!¡± (Erica) ¡°Hm, Okay! Change of plans, Eli go after Cassy while I¡¯ll take care of Jackson and Mark.¡± (Cole) ¡°You sure? That¡¯s two against one.¡± (Alec) ¡°I can manage.¡± (Cole) I went for Cassy and attacked her, but she blocked it. One heavy assault battleship deployed!!¡± ¡°WHO IS DOING THIS?!¡± (Everyone) We dashed into one of the repair rooms while taking ourselves off their scanners. ¡°Okay, what do we do?¡± (Erica) We all stayed silent trying to come up with some sort of strategy, when suddenly, I had the perfect idea! ¡°You guys fix up the most important part of the mech while Erica and Chloe come with me.¡± (Eli) I took Erica and Chloe to the weapon making room. It took sometime to make it, but we did. thanks to the manual an the some extra part within the room. We had the mechanical hand put it on a rolling table and pushed it out in to the mech area. The others had repaired most of the mechs when we got there with our thing. ¡°Wooow! Is that a Fraze nuke?¡± (Jackson) ¡°Dude, that thing can turn anything to ashes in seconds in the game!¡± (Alec) The fraze nuke is the type of weapon that could destroy a city with a radius of four thousand feet! A very dangerous weapon that you need to get every step right, or it will explode. The only reason it can be recognized is because people are scared to remodel it. So scared that it hasn''t been remodelled for over forty thousand years¡­.or so went the lores of the game. ¡°How did you build this? It take a lot of materials.¡± (Mark) ¡°Not the time, the battleship will find us soon. So how do we use that thing, it¡¯s like two times bigger than our mechs?¡± (Cole) ¡°Me, Cassy, Chloe, and Erica would carry the nuke up there. The rest of you will make sure not to let any of the fighter jets, mechs, or the battleship¡¯s weapons get to us.¡± (Eli) The battleship has many different type of weapons, as well as many fighter and mechs of different categories surrounding it for extra protection. This is not going to be easy. ¡°We had a feeling you¡¯d say that, so we made all of our mechs able to fly.¡± (Cole) ¡°Awesome! This will be much better!¡± (Eli) ¡°I have a question. Isn¡¯t the fraze nuke going to render the entire city to dust?¡± (Lucifer) ¡°Well, we did lower the range and power of the blast enough to barely destroy the ship, so it¡¯s probably fine plus it¡¯s only virtual reality, it won¡¯t affect the city..¡± (Chloe) ¡°Enough of sitting around doing nothing, time to get this party started!¡± (Alec) ¡°Right!¡± (Everyone) We got back into our mechs and took the nuke out. Time to finish this! ~~~~ We inch closer to the battleship every second, but we are taking heavy fire. Good thing that we had a powerful shield to stop most of it. It would be catastrophic if the nuke gets hit, so most of the shield is protecting it. ¡°You guys, let go, I am throwing the nuke now!¡± (Erica) Erica¡¯s mech was given a more powerful arm, so she could throw the nuke. Cassy also surrounded it with a distortion field for ten minutes, so that combined with the shield will make it impossible for anything to stop it. We let go of the nuke and Erica used her mech at full power, the nuke went flying at it at the speed of sound. ¡°Boooooooooooooooooom¡± (Explosion sounds) ¡°It hit!¡± (Everyone) A massive black energy field surrounded the battleship, leaving nothing when it cleared. ¡°Game end! Victory goes to players!!¡± Chapter 13: Carlos your dead The scenery of the old factory vanished as the program ended the game,our mechs stood in place as the system turned them back on. A long silence went on for a while, when suddenly we heard lots of laughter. ¡°Oh god, we did it¡­.¡± (Cassy) ¡°Yeah, hooray¡­.I need a holiday..¡± (Alec) ¡°Hey, are you guys here?¡± (Erica) There was lots of noise coming from the outside of our cockpits. We also had to take the time to fix our destroyed mech, which seems to have taken hours. Night had fallen long before everyone went back home. I got up from the bed, got my laptop from the table and sat back down. I went onto the hyperlink and looked through it. ¡°Oh wow! The battle really did go viral!¡± (Eli) All people could talk about was the battle and who did the best. There were even recordings of some parts of the battle. ¡°Dinner Is served.¡± (Lyla) ¡°Ok, thanks again!¡± (Eli) I ate my dinner while watching videos on Y*uTube, then I got a call from Erica. ¡°Hey! Once night fell over the capital planet I used one of the scales I rip off myself to unlock the cuffs on my hands. Then I climbed up to the dark ceiling and waited for the guards to notice my disappearance. Soon enough one of them noticed I was gone and came into the cell I was in, I dropped onto him from the ceiling and knocked him out before taking his key card and uniform. Acting like a normal soldier I made my way out of the prison and towards the shipyard just before the alarm started blaring. ¡°Alert! General Destruction has escaped!¡± Too late idiots! You can thank me later! I stole a the fastest ship I could find and took off the planet in a hurry, but they found me, they must have placed a tracer on me! Or no¡­.it the soldier ID card, crap, I forgot to deactivate it. I broke the ID card and accelerated ship read to warp away from here to seek refuge. Just as the rip in space appeared a ship managed to shot on of my engines and I spun out of control in to the warp portal totally off course. I lost consciousness after a hit my head on the control panel. ~~~~~ I woke in the vastness of space to the sound of a large boom, looking around I saw a battleship and some sort of traveling space crafts fighting, the traveling spacecraft should have lost but after watching it for a while it won the battle and ended towards the battleship to gain control of it. I knew it wasn¡¯t one of ours as the design was too different, I may have found another Rulian empire, or aliens¡­.. I tried to move my ship towards the battleship, but it seems to have been too damaged, with only one option I took a space suit and landed on and asteroid just as the ship came over and jet packed right to it. I found on entrance to the ship and entered smoothly and hid using the cloaking device I stole. I walked around the ship looking for people to talk to, then I heard voices of people taking jiberish coming this way and wait, that¡¯s went I saw them¡­..aliens they don¡¯t have a tail, scales, or sharp claws like us Rulians. The skin is exposed and they look fragile and easy to break, but there is this confidence in their eyes that seems a little scary. ¡°@#$&d$&#@$$&##&f#&g$sa!¡± ¡°%@##$#&($##dfx&hfs#9.¡± Ah! Why can¡¯t I understand them? My nanomachines should be working! Oh wait...it just adjusted. ¡°@#$df&¡ª¡ªso let just go and get some rest, I¡¯m tired.¡± (???) Just then one of them turned toward me and looked at me directly in the eye. There was no way it could see me, i was completely cloaked! It¡¯s instincts are very good. ¡°Eli? Whats wrong?¡± (???) ¡°Hmmmm ...nothing, I just felt like someone was watching me.¡± (Eli) I followed them to the traveler parked in the hangar of the big ship and entered with them making sure to stay as far as possible from the pink haired one as possible.. For a while I stole some of there food to survive and slept in their hangar, soon we arrived on a blue planet where they built their cities! I can get a lot of information from these creature and possibly find a way back to the Rulians.
