《Reborn as a Nano Drone》 The Beginning It was Weekend and after Playing Space Engineers with some Friends for around 10h the Fleet was finally complete against the rest of the server.For the info we play against another team or Empire of Light, that''s what they call it and we are the Empire of Darkness so that it fits, we build everything in black and dark red. and after collecting and building a lot, we now have a fleet against the others and after fighting for about 1h we lost everything. And because of the rage of losing, i turned off my pc and went straight to bed. And before I could fall asleep I felt very hot and I only saw white, after 2 seconds I felt nothing and saw only black. After a long time or short I didn''t know it is hard to say if you only see black. I felt something it was my body but it was strange because instead of 2 arms and legs I had 6 legs and 2 arms without fingers but something else I don''t know what it is.Did you know this text is from a different site? And the first thing I saw was a destroyed big city that can come from the future with all those destroyed robots laying around it seems whatever destroyed all this happend long ago because the nature has allredy taken most buldings back. When I took a closer look at myself, I only realized how small I am. I have the size of a super tool 300 do not ask why I know. Then came the knowledge that I didn''t know I had. It was basically what I am and what I can do, I am a nano drone (large), apparently there are three sizes: small, medium, large. And I can use raw materials to make more of myself or any structure as long as I have a plan and the raw materials. I thing i first build more Nano Drone to help me for the raw materials i can use one of these Robots around of me. So lets Go! More Drones After I made it to the broken robot, I noticed how the movement feels very neat, even in my new body, which is black with dark red stripes in it, which I found out when I passed a broken window. Now back to the robot. I would say it is about 2m high and otherwise looks like a normal person who wears rusty metal armor and shows cables from his wounds otherwise a normal male man.When I finally got there, I immediately started using my tools. I think I should explain how it works. I can use my tool to convert raw materials into energy that is stored in me, which I can then use to produce the desired object. But I can only store a certain number of energy before I am full. When I''m full, I can build 3 small, 2 medium, or 1 large nanodrons. The number of energy that can be stored gets smaller with the size of the drone. The small drone can build another small drone when it is full of energy. And 2 medium drones are needed to build another large drone. I think when I''m full I build 1 large drone to help myself and then we build 4 medium ones. So the plan is set and I''m going to start.

It took longer than expected but now I''m full. To get started, I simply have to follow the plan in my head or processor on every detail or It doesn''t work. Building is similar to how a 3D printer does something, or how something is built in Planetary Annihilation and after 30 seconds it is done. When I connected to it it was a very strange feeling it was like my head was split I could control both as before only together. But now I want to keep working, the robot still has 3/4 of its body.

Now I have my small group ready: 4x medium Nanodrones 2x large Nanodrones The other drone looks just like me, only smaller, the middle one is 7.5 cm long and the small 4.5 cm I''m 11 cm long. I think it would be best to first explore the city to find information about the world and what happened. For this I make teams, in 1 team there are 2x medium drones and 1x large drone. The first team looks for a military base or something similar and the second team goes to the center of the city and searches the houses there. I also found that at the beginning of the second group, I lost control of them and they worked more like independent robots with the mission for them. By testing more after I got the group back through some kind of radio message, I found out that I can make a drone to the main drone that I can control and I can add more drones but if they are further away I cant control them and they are back to normal drone. After many tests I took over the first group and sent the second one to complete the mission and then I also went to find a military base or something similar to get more raw materials and technology. Military base When I could no longer see the second group, which happened quite early, I started to do my mission. I started looking in areas where it is very likely to find a base, so close to main roads and few residents. But after 5 hours I still haven''t found anything until I get an emergency signal that leads to the mountains. It wasn''t in any language I know, but after 10 minutes of analysis, I understood it. [emergency, energy level low, no food and water transmitter station destroyed. Help is needed] After that, only the coordinates came from the base. I think my goal is now fixed I go there and see what is going on.

In front of me is now a fenced parking lot with many old abandoned cars and hundreds of skeletons lying in front of a huge bunker entrance. The entrance gate is approximately 10m high and 20m wide and is made of steel or similar material. The rest of the entrance looks like an old concrete bunker with the big gate and a door next to it, the door is made of the same metal as the gate and is 2m high and 1.30m wide. It is getting dark and the red sun is setting and the two blue moons are rising. Wait, why two moons, that just shows that I am no longer on my earth. But the good news is the door is gone and I have new Drone team 1 now consists of: 2x large Drones 4x medium Drones 6x small Drones Behind the door was a large locker room with several showers and the only light in the area was red.Lockers and benches were rusted and old dirty clothes were everywhere.At the end of the room was a normal metal door and not a 30cm thick one as at the entrance. Fortunately the door was open and I was able to go through. On the other side was a long concrete tunnel that was only lit with the red light and led downwards. In the tunnel there were pipes on the left and right of the 3m high ceiling, the tunnel was 4.5m wide. At the end of the tunnel there was another metal door where I came thrugh. On the other side of the door was a large parking lot with several military vehicles and supply boxes. There were several skeletons and weapons on the floor, it looks like people were fighting each other and nobody had won. The whole area was 200x230m and 9m high. On the wall across from me were several doors and gates that apparently lead to warehouses and other areas in the bunker.When I looked around I found an armored door with a sign on top of it indicating the control center. I believe that is the best point to continue my investigation. History After I made it through the door, I expanded my group with 11 other small drones. Behind the door was a large room that resembles a NASA control center. There was a huge screen on the back of the wall, and there were lots of emergency messages on the screen. The whole room was in the same red light as the rest of the base, and many computers have been destroyed or are about to break apart. In a large chair in the middle of the room was a skeleton with a kind of pistol next to it on the floor. In front of the skeleton there is a kind of computer that, when you look closely, can drive into the ground to secure himself. The computer seems old but still usable. When I looked at it I had an idea, I am also a kind of computer so I can connect to it to get information. When I found a connection I tried it out directly. World War 3 broke out 125 years ago and was stopped after 2 hours because the world was no longer habitable. Right at the beginning, organic weapons were used, so that those who were not safe were eaten up from the inside and died agonizingly. The bunker was built in the event of war but after 11 years the people split into two groups, the first one said they should go out and look for food and other things and the other group said they should stay in the bunker and kill the old people for food. Enemy and Base When I finally got to the armory, 8 minutes had passed. The armory was a room the size of two Leopard 2 tanks side by side. The door to the room was blown open by the people . The whole room is in the same red light as everything else, there are gun racks on the walls and a table half full of guns in the middle of the room. The rifles on the walls look like m4 rifles only that these weapons are actually plasma weapons like all other weapons here. There are guns on the tables that look like the 1911. Below the tables are many magazines, only these all have a blue glowing line on the side that indicates the load. I then started eating the weapons, which gave me the blueprints and materials (eating means using the tool).I have now eaten 2 of each type of weapon, 1 is actually enough, but I just wanted to be sure. Now I better go to the laboratory and see what I can find there. They built this much too big or I''m very slow because it took me 11 minutes to get there. There is only one way to get to the laboratory. You have to go through 2 protective doors that are fortunately already open thanks to time.The laboratory is twice the size of the armory, there are many tables in the room with different examination stations. I just eat everything I can so that I may get new things. I think it was all here in the bunker but I look again just to make sure I haven''t missed anything.

When I looked around I suddenly got an emergency transmission from my drones in the city and after that I lost connection with them. The broadcast was a picture of a group of people walking on all fours and completely naked. The people would all be upright about 2m tall and all well built with muscles. The group consisted entirely of men. The people''s skin was slightly greenish and full of scars, they had sharp teeth and far too much hair. Wait there is still life on the planet, I would not have thought that. But these were not normal people from the information I got, people didn''t look like that before. That means they have mutated or become in another way, but they don''t seem to have much intelligence of what I could see.The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation. But they are a danger that I prefer not to have, but now I have the chance to build a new drone that should take care of it, but I have to design it first. And the best start for this is to pair me with the computer and convert the bunker into my base. For that, I should first take care of the energy problem, luckily I have already examined the generator and the repair is easy, I can even improve it. Then I should rebuild the door so that no one comes in. I can simply take the materials for all of this from the cars and lockers. When it is done I should get the cameras working again and then plan the new drone.

All ready now it''s about the drone. It should fly, not be too big, have enough energy to use the weapons and fly and be lightly armored.

The drone is a 40 cm high and wide ball, left and right of the drone are rotatable rotor blades for flying. at the front of the drone is a kamara with heat light and night vision. At the back of the drone is a small engine in case it needs to fly fast. Under the drone are 2 MG plasma rifles that can fire for 2 minutes before having to reload for 30 seconds. The MGs can easily pierce concrete. I have also doubled my construction drones and I now have 5 of what I call X-01 (the weapons drones). The X-01 is also black with red stripes and the MG shoots red plasma. I sent the 5 X-01 drones outside to patrol the area. I still plan to enlarge my base with a mine robot that should always bring new materials, and turrets at the entrance and in the base if I am attacked by many mutants. I also want to build an X-01 waiting station near the base where I can store the drones and if necessary repair them. The mine robots are finished and I call them M-01. The M-01 looks like clearing tanks, they have tank treads instead of wheels. At the front of the M-01 there is a mine tool that converts everything into enegy and at the back of the M-01 is a large battery where the enregy is stored. I also built a large warehouse at the entrance to the mine where the energy is stored until it is needed. The mine starts at the underground car park. And if that is not yet clear, normal stone will bring little energy, but iron or other metals will bring more. I have 2 of these M-01s in use so far, and in the middle of the parking lot I have a construction / repair station that is equipped with robotic arms and the tool so that it can build, repair or relocate drones / robots. It is the size of the armory. The station is also directly connected to the energy warehouse, which means that it can work 24/7 as long as there is energy. So now I''m building the X-01 station. Village Killer I have built the X-01 station on the mountain of bunker and connected it to the bunker system, which means that it is also connected to the material warehouse, which makes it possible to build and repair the X.01 drones in the station. My X-01 have just found the mutants they seem to live in a kind of village with hats made of leather, wood and old metal bars. The village is in an old park which now resembles a forest. According to my count, there are approximately 124 mutants living there: 22 children 59 men 43 women I have my X-01 in stealth mode so it hardly makes any noise. The mutants seem to have a primitive language and most of them also wear some kind of leather clothing. And the group that destroyed my team is in a kind of cage. But there are far too many of them, even if the other 10 X-01 are done, some mutants can escape. That means I need some weapon that can wipe out many at once and I already have an idea. Now I have 15 X-01 ready for use and my beloved artillery loaded with napalm, so I can burn a large area and if they survive I send my X-01 in. And if they survive, the artillery is ready for action with even more napalm. I finished 4 artillery pieces and everyone can shoot to the village which is about 8km away. Right now it is bright day so I wait until evening to attack so that most people sleep in the village.

Now the X-01 are in position and the village is quiet. POV: Villager girl I am Gwin and 4489 moons old (12.3 years old). I live with my mother at home in our village. My father and a few of his hunting partners attacked a new species a few days ago and thereby broke a law, which means that they now have to be executed. The law basically says that all new species should be approached nicely so you don''t start a war.The village elder always says that we should not make the same mistakes as the old humans. I woke up to screaming tonight and there was a stench of burnt skin and fire in the air. When I came out of the tent I saw the entire village in a flame inferno and how the various neighbors burn alive while the children cry it was pure hell. When I looked at my father I only saw a fireball where the cell is. And before that my mother burned to a black pile of bones. And then came the sound that chases me until my dreams from behind the smoke wall. And from that came black / dark red balls that hovered in the air with two wings... Demons I said when I saw that. And next these demons shot red fire at everything that was still moving. When I saw that, I immediately ran towards an allied village to warn everyone else about the demons. POV: Village Killer That went really well, only one managed to escape. But the artillery was more effective than expected and the X-01 tore up the mutants with ease. But I should be better prepared now if they come with one army or something I don''t think I could win against something like that. And for that I should enlarge my own army, for that I should build more M-01 and X-stations. And expand the reactor in the bunker because it is slowly reaching its limits. I also have an idea for a floor unit that I also want to test. And I should send a few units to the kasa base to get a satellite network up and running. Maybe even a few weapon platforms.

I now have 6 M-01 and 5 X-Stations and I have enlarged the reactor. And the local satellite network started working again with which I now know everything that happens in a 200km radius around me. I have continued to expand my artillery and now I have 10 of them. The artillery can now fire continuously for 2 minutes before new ammunition has to be produced. It also has a range of 100km in every direction. Next I take care of the new floor unit. Station Alpha After much deliberation, I decided to build the floor unit like a human because that seems the most sensible. That means the robot is 2 meters tall and looks like a T200 Terminator. Only that mine has a black plate armor and shining red eyes the armor also has dark red lines that shine red when it is in operation. I call it Xander-1. As weapons, Xander-1 has a plasma assault rifle that resembles an Ak 107, which I call DF-1. The DF-1 can shoot 50 times before the magazine needs to be changed. The Xander-1 can hold up to 5 magazines. As a second weapon, it has a plasma knife built into both arms. It looks something like the blades of assassins creed with only red plasma at the ends that can easily cut through steel. For the Xander-1, I have also converted the apartments so that they can be built and stored there. Each of the Xander-1 has a small reactor in the chest that supplies it with electricity.197 Xander-1''s can be stored in the barracks. I also thought about finding / building a new base and to find the right place for it I need an exploration vehicle that can fly. I can plan something while building the Xander-1''s. 1 Day later The barracks are now full and I have the plan for Explorer-1 ready. It looks like the MV-22B Osprey it has two engines that allow it to start in 7 seconds. It has 4 plasma Mg''s in the front and a reactor in the storage room which allows 30 days to fly without charging. In the Explorer-1 there are 2 Xander-1 units for exploring buildings or other areas. I sent it off to look for things outside the satellite network that could help me or a place for a second base. I have also sent the Xander-1''s and X-01''s to the city to search for all mutants, but so far only 2 other villages have been found that are already empty and after I examined it, it looked like all mutants Quickly escaped from there. After I got away from the demons I immediately ran to the neighboring village. It took me about 1 hour to get there and I''m still covered with ashes and blood. The blood comes from my wounds that I got when I ran away. When I got to the village I immediately went to the chief and told him everything that happened. The mountain is approximately 256 km from here and 125 km from the coast. When I decided that I immediately sent some X-01''s, M-01''s and lots of other drones there to start construction. I sent Explorer-1 on to explore. I think to keep it simple I call the mountain base Alpha and the bunker base where I am Beta. Base Building While the drones go there i start with the plan for the base. It should have all of these functions: -Warehouse -Airport -Baracks -Factory -Laboratory -Mainframe( for me ) -Transmitter system -Large parking lot for all vehicles, preferably with several levels -Reactor -Armory -Control Center -Mine -Train Station That looks like a lot but a good base needs something like that at least. And for repairs to the base or units, I already have an idea about a small ball robot that is only responsible for one task. The robot is about the size of a football and has an engine that makes it fly. At the front of the robot are two arms that can change to different tools. 4 days later The basic layout of the base is now ready. The entrance to Alpha is at the foot of the mountain with a new road that leads directly to the motorway. The entrance consists of three large gates that are all next to each other. The entire forest in a 500m circle was removed. Around the entrance is a 5 meter high concrete / metal wall on which several Xander-1 drones and guns were built. From the entrance it goes about 1 kilometer into the mountain. Afterwards all 3 entrance streets lead into a large hall where you can either drive into the parking lot or to other places connected. Only the mine and the train station are currently connected to it. The barracks for all Xander-1 drones are directly behind the hall (intersection). Where 40,432 Xander-1''s can currently be stored. The entire system has just 7 levels, but new ones can always be built. The entire facility was built of metal and a bit of concrete. CCTV''s are everywhere. On the lowest level is the mainframe, near which the control center. Xander-1''s run around the entire base so there is at least one in each aisle. I have also already built 36 of the ball robots, which I simply call balls. The balls have their own AI, which means that they can work well even without command. The balls have very light black armor and have a light weapon of last defense. On the top level is the trailer where many planes can park. The entrance to the hanger is pinned through a large metal gate at the front so that nothing unwanted can get in. And inside the hanger are several automatic guns. Around the mountain are X stations and automatic guns, all of which are connected to the Alpha system. In addition, many artillery guns were built the same as in Beta. I also made my main body the mainframe. The hanger is at level +2, the intersection is 0 and the mainframe is at -4. The train station has enough space for 4 trains. A train tunnel to Beta is currently being built so that everything is better connected. There are many gates and automatic guns in the tunnel in case something gets in. Now that I see it all, I know why my friends always called me paranoid, because Alpha is better protected then Fort Knox , at least I think. But wait, what were my friends again?
