《Gilanaire's adventure》 How the system will work. Preface? This is possibly a one shot, maybe something more, I''ve had this idea brewing for 7-8 hours and couldn''t sleep. I don''t know whether this''ll be in 1st person or third, but I''ll try not to switch back and forth if I don''t accidentally make it 2nd POV. It''ll be more than likely a mess, but if you stick around... It''ll sort out eventually. I hope. This will have elements of LitRPG. Most of my books that I read have it and I''ve always wanted to make my own system. I am hoping to make it relatively simple but not too much so.... Putting aside my ramblings, this''ll be about a young woman in her later teens early twenties. With a system, heavy preference in Mail and Plate armor with weapons galore. The stats will be similar to D&D (Major part in my own upbringing), with the six core stats. The Mana( might go by other names for different classes) will be based off of Wis and Int. Ya-da Ya-da.... She''ll be on her own for a bit in the beginning, but I might add SCs. All depends, She''ll likely have my personality. Bubbly and ignore the bad big things in life, but get upset about the little things sometimes.. The skills will be more of a growth based skills, the more you use and understand, the more the skill will grow. Stats are of the same bit, but the growth for such will be a slight exponential growth. There might be some race based bonuses, maybe not¡This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. Letter system for the Skills, worst to best. G->F->E->D->C->B->A->S->X ¡®X¡¯ rank being the best of the best. Every two rank increases in a skill adds a bonus based on the skill. Level 1-> 10 per rank of skill. 1 worst, 10 best. Classes will have a similar system, but rather have classes based on rank, i.e. rank 1 will be very general and an example rank 1 warrior a melee based class, can go into a Heavy warrior who uses heavy armor, and Light fighter who uses leather, or weaponless fighter, who wears cloth. The first rank max lvl is 10, then 25, then 50, then 75, then 100, 150, 200, 250, 350, 500. After this, the person will be a paragon of their specialization without lvl limit Every even level you receive two stat points per rank to put into your classes main stats, while every third level you get 5 skill points to distribute into your stats which is a static stat, excluding race benefits. The kingdoms will be similarly ranked, Rank one (lowest) -> Rank ten (highest) Thoughts on the system currently SO the other system I might do, is an undefined statistics, not including HP, mana, and Stamina... You have a visual show of your conditions I.E. HP, MP, SP. But Str, Dex, ect. are undefined but the characters all have an innatee understanding/ feel of how close they are to the cap of their current cap on the stats, sort of, efficiency? As in how well they wield their strength they have, would proficiency be better? I have a map of the city gilanaire will start the story at, or possibly be at for a while, depending on the speed of the story to come, if you want to share possible ideas with me comment below. Besides that, I was thinking of having a typical adventure style story? This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it. I am really thinking to use the dnd based stat system I had in mind in the first place. What if I build the story like a dnd campaign? Would that work... Maybe. I might write a chapter and switch the system out each time, and do the two different systems each time, the quality might be fairly poor but it''s not my priority. These first couple of chapters will more than likely be theory crafting More thoughts but also including a friends as well Bruiser instead of a pure tank for MC? Dunno, prolly MIlstone lvl, exp based? EXP Minimap?Ehhhhh Spirits that push people to gather/ collect for possible events? How many races? plentyIf you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. Which races?dnd races of course, Which edition? Animal companions? Ofc for the classes that use them, maybe for not.. How many classes should be available to choose from "awakening"? 2-5 maybe What would be the pushing point for the Main Character? Paladin? If a holy/ unholy class were to oath break what happens? If a nature based class were to fall out of favor with the nature alignment how would that work? If a druid were to fall out of favor he/she would be either wield metal like they used to with nature, or they would become a beserker, the more health lost the more damage dealt.
