 Chapter 1 :Child in the Crystal

    "SHEN TANFENG!!!.......".


    In a cave there was a hundred men dressed in purple robes with an insignia of black flame on their backs. For some reason the black flame insignia was easily discernible from the black robes, this is because it was created using mana .


    These men were all members of the Shen clan, at this moment they were surrounding an old man and a young girl. The old man had white hair and was medium built. His face was full of wrinkles and liver spots he was wearing a brown robe and there was an insignia of a black bull trampling the earth on the left hoof and trampling the sea on the right hoof.


    The little girl next to him had black hair and big round eyes and she looked about three years old she wore a blue kimono that covered her hands and feet that had the same insignia as the old man on the back. Next to the old man and the girl were two corpses they wore yellow gowns that had the same insignia as the man and the little girl. They were both dead.


    One was shot by an ice arrow through his heart and he still had frost covering the wound, the other was scorched to death his corpse emitted a foul burning smell that spread throughout the cave increasing the men in black from the Shen clans blood lust even more , but they did not dare to be rash and attack the old man.


    The two corpses had the same insignia as the girl and the old man, this was the sign of the Tu family clan.


    The Tu clan and the Shen clan had been in conflict for generations, they would always fight over resources, land and even petty things like whose clan¡¯s junior is most good looking.


    But the Tu clan never thought that the Shen clan would attack them while carrying around the young miss of the family three-year-old Tu Tsuki, especially while the white haired old man was there.


    The white haired old man¡¯s name was Tu Zhang , he was the eldest brother of the current Tu clan patriarch Tu Bai.Tu Zhang was an elder of the Tu clan and one of the strongest person in the Tu clan Just second to the patriarch. So his position in the family was not small


    "Shen Tanfeng show yourself i know your there!" Tu Zhang lifted his head angrily shouted, but there was no response.


    "Do you all have no shame trying to kill a little girl¡± seeing that he wasn''t getting any answer he turned to the mages and mage warriors of the shen clan.     Seeing that the situation isn''t turning any better Tu Zhang clenched his teeth and strengthened his resolve. He looked at Tu Tsuki was just staring at him with her big watery eyes, she asked " Uncle Zhang am I going home ?"


    Tu Zhangs heart throbbed when he heard her question. He shook his head with a sad look on his old face and said " Uncle will try his best little ki".


    If it was a one versus one he would immediately win easily but against a combined attack of a hundred people with various spells and techniques he was lacking in confidence.


    "Since you won''t let us go.... some of you will leave your lives here" after saying this Elder Zhang slammed his hands unto the cave floor. Immediately when his hands touched the ground a circle of light appeared under him and Tu Tsuki.The circles of light radiated as runes instantly appeared on it.


    "Crust breaking beetle!"

    Cracking noises began to start as the Shen clan members saw the ground start to lift and wrap arround  them individually. They then noticed that they formed large stone beetles, the beetles then began to attack the shen clan members.


    The ground rose then covered elder Zhang and Tu Tsuki then formed into a beetle, the beetle then began to dig down the earth¡¯s crust inside the beetle elder Zhangs face was pale using that spell is easy to him but with the amount of beetles he created it was almost over the limit of his mana reserves, he only had enough mana in his body to keep him conscious. But he was still pushing his body and mind to its limits because he needed to control the beetles attacking the Shen clansmen and the one he was using to escape while the Shen clansmen are busy.


    "Everyone split into  groups deal with the beetles that captured our subordinates and the rest of us will deal with that old earth worm" a Shen clan member shouted.


    40 people then stayed behind to battle the beetles while the rest started attacking the beetle that was digging into the earth¡¯s crust

    One by one the beetles containing the constricted shen clansmen were destroyed. The shen clansmen didn¡¯t even take to the time to make sure they weren''t hurting the people inside. Hence most of the casualties Callateral damage caused when they were being broken free.

    The beetle containing elder zhang and Tu tsuki was hit. Elder Zhang instantly coughed out a mouthful of blood because of the impact, but he kept persisting, all he could think about is getting little tsuki home

    The tunnel the beetle was digging suddenly fell through.

    The earth beetle fell onto the ground.


    It seems we fell into an underground cave thought Elder Zhang. He then started looking for Tu tsuki he then saw her standing near the pieces of the earth beetle.


    She was standing in a stunned sate her hair was disheveled and her kimono was torn and had blood stains from her wounds but the wounds weren¡¯t serious so he was happy. But when he looked to the place where she was looking what he saw astounded him.


    It was a Large glowing crystal, but that wasn¡¯t the astonishing part there was a baby in it.

 Chapter 2 :Roar Through the heavens (1)

    In the dark underground cave Elder Zhang was  pale his bruised face full of astonishment as he looked at the bizarre scene in front of him of a a baby that seemed to be less than 1 year old, sealed tightly in a crystal.


    While looking at the child he felt a faint magical pressure from it.The scene in front of Elder Zhang even caused him to forget  the situation he was in.This caused his pale old face to gain a little serenity.

    Above the hole to the underground cave


    A thin youth wearing a black robe , was slightly kneeling to a short, fat man with a hoary head and  dark skin.


    The thin youth was wearing a hooded cloak with the insignia of the shen clan, but his insignia was slightly different to the people wearing purple robes, his insignia had a pale golden radiance arround the black flame.


    The man infront of him  robes also had a slight difference to his insignia, arround his flame was a red radiance rotating arround his insignia.


    The thin youths in the black robe name was Kurai  he was not a direct bloodline of the shen clan he was just the son of a low ranked clansman,but because of his talent  he was accepted into the shen clan with open arms.


    His mothers position in the family was also elevated a bit because of her son. The pale golden radiance on the insignia signifies that he was one of the geniuses of the clan.


    "Elder Tanfeng, our sensory magicians have found their position, they h seem to have fallen in a cave directly below the hole they dug''. said Kurai.


    The short fat mans name was Shen tanfeng the second strongest under the patriarch of the Shen clan.


    Shen Tanfeng had been watching the battle between the shen clansmen and Tu Zhang from afar because he was actually steadily supplying mana to a barrier they had set up tostop Tu Zhang from escaping.


    But when he saw that Tu Zhang was trying to dig his way out he thought the barrier could sustain it but Tu Zhang succeded and dug passed the barrier .


    So Shen Tanfeng spread his perception out and was vaguely able to realize that the place where Tu Zhang dug the barrier  was quickly being depleted of all its energy making it weaker than other areas.


    He then closed his eyes and tried to feel the flow of mana  and what he realized astonished him . He felt that all the mana in the area  and from the barrier was being sucked into the hole where Tu Zhang dug .The first thoughts that came across his mind was treasure.

    When Shen Tanfeng thought of this his eyes flashed with greed.


    Shen Tanfeng had always wanted to go to other realms or become strong enough to rule this one, after all who likes to be to the bottom of the barrel serving those at the top.


    Where the Shen clan and Tu clan is located is  the  first heaven ream,because of certain reasons  the resources were inferior to the other heaven realms this gave rise to the low leveled mages  greed.Especially with the other clans that had more power than the shen and the Tu clan fighting for resources so they could only get the leftovers to provide for their clan.


    Shen Tanfeng was a naturally greedy person so when he realized there is a high chance of treasure he watched the other clansmen with a hint of killing intent. He was planning on silencing them  if they saw any treasures down in the cave so he can have it all to himself without the   clan knowing,but he still had a problem he needed to kill Tu Zhang.


    " ONe squad accompany me down, the rest of you stand guard" Shen Tanfeng said , he also made sure to exclude most of the elites and Kurai  from going with him because he didnt wanted to kill the Shen clans back bones or it might may cause a decrease in their clans over all combat power, which he didnt want to see.


    Shen Tanfeng then took his people and began going down the tunnel, but he didnt go down the hole elder Zhang took because he was afraid he might have laid a trap there in an attempt to escape.


    So he let five people proficient in earth elemental magic dig a seperate tunnel then they would dig a hole above elder Zhang so they can catch him off guard.


    Espacially since in his mind elder Zhang was down there with the treasure so he took no chances of letting him get the upper hand.

    In the semi dark cave , near the glowing crystal Elder Zhang and Tu Tsuki was standing in front of it staring at the scene in front of them.

    A pebble fell from the  ceiling of the cave and hit elder Zhang on his head he immediately awoke out of his ethereal state.


    He then remembered his predicament.


    He turned and looked at Tu Tsuki he then reached out his old rinkled hand and gave her light shake on her sholder waking her from the hypnotise state.


    Elder Zhang felt like their was something wrong with this stone with a child in it.


    Elder Zhang then noticed something odd it was quiet too quiet, especially since they were in a life or death situation against a hundred man squad from the Shen clan.But he could not think too much about it.


    He immediately took two small  mud balls from a pouch  on his waist, he held his nose and swallowed them together. These two round objects were medicine pills of the lowest kind.But to a small clan like his this is all they could afford and it was still just enough for the elders only.


    Those two pills specifically were  mana replenishing pills .But since their quality was extremly low  so the effects of it was really small,because of this he still needed to enter meditative position  but this is all he could do.


    He then took a look atTu tsuki and after making sure she seemed alright he then sat down crossed legged and started drawing in mana .


    Elder Zhang then entered a half meditative state with his perception scaning the area for enemies he then felt something astonishing. All the mana in the cave was extremly rich and that wasn''t all the mana was flowing in his direction but it wasn''t him attracting it.The crytal behind him  seemed to be gathering and absorbing the mana.


    He then tried to investigate the strange crystal but the crystal was far beyond his knowledge. He re focused then quickly started trying to absorb as much mana as possible that was coming his way.

 Chapter 3 :Roar Through the heavens (2)

    Inside the tunnel Shen Tanfeng was travelling with the Shen clan magesstoped., when those leading the way suddenly stopped.


    "Why have we stopped." Shen Tanfeng grumpily said, he was in a bad mood.


    "Elder Tanfeng we are currently ten meters away from their current location any more and we might alert him" said the sensory mage standing in the front of the team.


    "Alright everyone get prepared we will attack  two minutes" Shen Tanfeng said with a hint of greed in his eyes. To him two minutes was already  stretching his patience.

    In the underground cave Tu Zhang was sitting on the ground absorbing the mana around him. It has almost been six minutes since he started meditating he recovered about half his mana. Normally with the amount of mana arround him he should have already finished  recovering , after all he wasn''t a high levelled mage so he didn,t have a large mana reserve,  but the crystal stone seem to have been absorbiing mana actively at an astonishing rate.


    " ugh.." Suddenly Tu zhang felt a faint pressure envelop the entire underground cave he felt his bones and muscles contract .


    He quickly turned his head, forgetting about the discomfort he checked on Tu tsuki he then saw her laying on the ground unconscious. He moved as quickly as he could and rushed to her side he then enveloped her body in mana and it quickly formed a bubble which lessened the pressure on her body. But then in the blink of an eye the mysterious pressure disapeared.


    "...strange " Tu zhang muttered to him self .


    But what he didn''t realize was the crystal was enveloped in a white mist. If a few moments ago his attention was turned towards the crystal  he would have noticed that the baby sealed in the crystal had slightly opened its eyes.

    In the tunnel  the group of mages were in a sorry state some had fainted, some were kneeling on the ground with vomit flowing out their mouth.. The only person to the front of the tunnel able to stand was Shen Tanfeng and even he had a slight amount of saliva dripping from his lips.


    What was that pressure just now ,was it caused by the treasure, maybe its a peerless weapon and Tu Zhang must have found it!.


    When these thoughts came in his mind his eyes turned red from greed.


    "ATTACK ATTACK NOW!!" Shen Tanfeng shouted.

    Inside the cave at the exact moment Shen Tanfeng was giving his order.

    Cracks began to appear on the big crystaline stone.When Tu Zhang heard the cracks and realized that they were from the crystal he had a bad premonition.


    Since he already recovered enough mana he quickly casted a spell.


    "crust breaking palm" he said in a low tone. The ground beneath them quickly started to crack as the dirt and rocks in the range of the spell seemed to crack and callapse. .


    He quickly operated the magic to make a path and at this moment.

    Over a dozen figures jumped from the underground caves ceiling they were the Shen clan members and leading the way was Shen tanfeng.


    When they landed on the ground Shen Tanfeng quickly scoped his surrounding but saw no treasure he only saw a crystal 10 meters from him that was gaining cracks by the second. Then he saw across from it Tu Zhang making a Tunnel.


    He quickly thought of something.Maybe he didnt see any treasure because Tu Zhang was escaping with it or that the crystal was the treasure and contained an inheritance of some sort.Thinking of it like that he then became eager to capture him and interregate him.


    " Attack him before he escapes..."


    But before he could finish his sentence he saw a bright light erupt from the crystal.

    a huge piece of the crystal broke off and what the Shen clansmen saw next caused them to hold each others hands in fear.


    A huge pair of eyes emerged out of the crystal as a phantom image of a huge dragon came crashing towards them.

    Its roar then came as they felt the mana in their bodies get pulled out like a page in a book. causing them to drop lifelessly unto the ground.


    Even Shen Tanfeng lost almost all his mana but he was only able to keep enough in his body to keep him alive.And his body fell to the ground like the rest of the Shen clansmen. The phantom image of the dragon then broke through the ceiling of the cave.

    The Shen clansmen didn''t even get a chance to react to the roar as a phantom image of a dragon shot out from under ground and draining them of all their mana.


    But the dragon didnt stop there it broke out of the mountain where the cave was and released an earth shattering roar as it started to fly arround the clouds .

    Ten million miles away in a gold palace stood a man wearing a dragon robe the dragon had green eyes and it almost looked lifelike.


    This man was the current emperor of the spirit jade empire that ruled over the  Blood sun continent , which was the continent the shen clan and the Tu clan resided on.


    Roar!!!!


    An earth shattering roar came into his ears and even made him tremble slightly.

    At the mountain where the dragon image was, the dragon then suddenly  began to retreat back into the cave and head straight to the large crystal.

 Chapter 4 :Returning to the Tu clan

    Inside the underground cave Elder Zhang is covering his body over the small petit Tu Tsuki who was covered in apale light.


    ''What was that intense mana fluctuation.'' Thought Tu Zhang his old haggard face seemed like he just lost his wife.


    "Uncle Zhang When can we go home; I''m scared" Tu tsuki said as tears streans from her big eyes.


    "Uncle Zhang will try his best little ki" he said with a hint of worry in his voice.


    Tu Zhang cautiously looked around and what he saw astonished him he saw was the squad of Shen clansmen on the floor passed out or lifeless, without a slight mana fluctuation from them. The only one among them that had a slight mana fluctuation was Shen Tanfeng, but when Tu Zhang saw this scene he didn¡¯t care why they didn¡¯t have any mana fluctuation he quickly grabbed Tu tsukis hand and lifted her up and started retreating.


    Then he realized something Shen Tanfeng was awake and it seems like he was struggling but could not move or talk when Tu Zhang saw this a light smile appeared on his face. To others this smile looked normal but to the semi-conscious Shen Tanfeng this was the most evil thing he has ever seen.

    Soon Tu Zhang appeared in front of Shen Tanfeng, he didn¡¯t say anything he just simply took out a dagger and stopped two inches from Shen Tanfeng. Tu Zhang then looked around at Tu Tsuki and said "Tsuki turn around and cover your ears no matter what do not turn around ¡°.


    When Tu Tsuki heard this she nodded her head and did as she was told.


    When Tu Zhang saw that Tu tsuki was doing what he said thick killing intent came from his body he quickly slashed down the dagger into Shen Tanfeng heart.

    He was slightly surprised though because after someone completed  the first stage in cultivation the elemental body realm your bodies cells and tissue will be filled with mana to the point that your flesh becomes a mana armor itself that cannot be easily injured by normal weapons and attacks without mana.


    Tu Zhang then shook his head he decided not to think about it too much. He then looked around and when he saw the sixty defenseless mages of the Shen clan around a cold smile crept unto his face.

    Ten minutes later he then walked up to Tu tsuki then stretched his hand and gently touched her shoulder.


    "Come tsuki time to go".


    "Uncle Zhang what''s that over there" said Tu Zhang as she pointed.


    But when Tu Zhang saw where she pointed he was astonished, where Tu tsuki pointed was where the gigantic crystal was but now the only thing there was a pile of crystal dust and over it was a ball of light that seemed to have something in it. on further look it was a shadow of a baby.


    When Tu Zhang saw this he was dumbstruck, ''what the hell is that baby'' he thought he was getting ready to leave with Tu tsuki when he heard it.

    It was crying. Impossible thought Tu Zhang.


    As he was about to turn around again he saw Tu tsuki staring at him with her round eyes. That seem to be saying please dont leave it alone.


    When he saw this his conscience also began to chime in.


    What will it eat if I leave it?


    I can''t just leave it here.


    Even though it was in that strange crystal, it might not be dangerous.


    After all this is a world of magic almost anything is possible.


    With these thoughts in mind Tu Zhang slowly moved towards the child he then muttered " kid if that ball of light around you even causes my hands to itch I will leave you here". He then stretched out his hand under the ball of light carefully getting into a holding position but as his hand stretched under the ball of light properly the light quickly dissipated and the baby dropped from it.


    Tu Zhang quickly caught the baby.


    The babies face was plump and he had white hair that was soft to the touch, an azure blanket was wrapped around him obscuring its private part Tu Zhang quickly noticed it was a boy.


    Tu Zhang slowly started walking towards Tu tsuki with a light smile on his face.


    "Uncle Zhang what do we do with him , or should  we keep him?" Tu tsuki said. Even though Tu tsuki was just three years old she was very smart for her age and very good at studying thats why she was the pride of the Tu clan because everyone felt that she would amount to something big in the magic world giving rise to their clan.


    Tu Zhang thought for a moment before nodding in affirmation, how could he say no he could already tell that this little niece of him was already attached to the child.


    " What should we name him?" Tu tsuki asked with a face full of excitement.


    "He already has a name" Tu Zhang said


    Seeing Tu tsuki watch him with a confused look he pointed at the babys wrist on it there was a bracelet with the name Ryu Shura. What was strange is that the name was moving in a circular motion, sometimes with Ryu in front sometimes with Shura infront of it.


    " Ryu Shura...Shura Ryu......I think we should call him Shura " .


    Seeing that this niece of his wasn''t going to stop talking Tu Zhang waved his hand and said "We should start going back to the clan now ".

 Chapter 5:Walking in

    Inside of the  underground cave stood a white haired old man in a brown robe and he was holding a baby that had white hair that seem to faintly glow in the darkness making other think he was a sacred child. Next to the old man stood a little girl about three years old but she did not give the impression that was her age. She had the air of an intelligent scholar and coupled with her pure childish looks made her look like a young scholar.


    The old man was naturally Tu Zhang and the girl next to him was Tu Tsuki and of course that child of heaven in his arms was Ryu Shura.


    "Come let¡¯s go now tsuki" Tu Zhang said in a solemn tone. He then lifted his only free hand and said "Earth manipulation magic¡±. He gently waved his hand as a brown magic circle appeared in front of him.


    When the magic circle appeared the ground started to crack as sand and pebbles floated up as it formed a set of stairs leading up to the ceiling and up to the hole Tu Zhangs came through. After a while stairs were formed.


    Elemental Manipulation magic was easy to learn and cast but hard to apply in situations out of battle. The reason is because for this magic spell you have to focus your mind on exactly what you need, down to the size , stability and you have  picture it forming. This sometimes cause low talented Mages to be stalwart after using this spell because when they move or do something else their mind wonders causing them to lose focus on this spell, so not too many mages uses this spell.


    Without saying anything he then began walking up the steps, Tu tsuki quickly followed behind him.


    Tu Zhang then suddenly looked at the baby in his hands.


    Ever since he picked him up he hasn¡¯t cried once,  even  his eyes never opened.


    He then looked ahead of the tunnel and saw light.


    "ki''er jump unto uncles back and ill help you climb out" said Tu Zhang after all Tu tsuki was just three and she couldn''t climb out of the deep pit by herself.


    Tu tsuki nodded as she jumped unto Tu Zhangs shoulders. Tu Zhang then bent his body a little and allowed her to stand on his back and clime out.This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.


    But the next scene in front of him caused him to feel delighted. On the floor was about a dozen elites and two geniuses of the Shen clan and the strangest thing was that they too didn''t have any mana fluctuations from them. This delighted Tu Zhang.


    Tu Zhang then instructed Tu tsuki to sit on a rock then he placed Shura on her lap. Leaving instructions for her not to turn around.


    He then noticed that everyone one up here was male previously the  Shen clansmen in the cave were men and a minority of them was women but up here, all the elites and the two geniuses was male.


    Seeing this a sinister smile crept up unto his face as he pulled the dagger out and started cutting. He then put them into a corner of the cave where Tu tsuki wouldn''t see them .


    He then said "tsuki time to go" as he reached out his hand and took Shura from her hand .


    As he looked down the mountain and took a look at the beautiful scenery Tu Zhang had a sigh of relief , he was still on very worried that the Shen clan had another force just in case plans went wrong ,but it seems that they had complete trust in their plan to kill them.


    The mountain they were on was named Rising Beast mountain. The name of the mountain was named after there were two Beast Emperors born here and attacked many cities making the areea around it for mileshaving wreckages and remnants of the past large commercial and residentiall cities .


    This mountain is inhabited by a variety of ferocious and desolate beast on the mountain.Be not fooled by its  beautiful scenery  it is dangerous .Of course maybe by  luck one can find a magical treasure or a low ranked herb.


    The Rising beast mountain was 9 miles away from Blood mage city . Blood mage city is located in the   Shinku   state of the 12 states of the blood sun continent.


    Blood mage city is a city that is just one of many on this state and in terms of strength blood mage city is ranked seventh among the many cities.


    The blood mage city has four clans in it, they are the, Denki family clan, Shen clan, Tu family clan and the Len family.


    "Let¡¯s go little ki" said Tu Zhang while looking up at the sky, it was already afternoon.


    ......


    6 hours later in the evening. At this time two figures approached a gate to a city, this city had a big sign at the gate saying blood mage city. And the two figures approaching it was Tu tsuki and Tu Zhang who had baby Shura Zhang in his hands.

    After a few minutes they arrived at the Tu clan.


    "It''s elder Zhang and young miss " a clansmen said.


    "Elder Zhang we have been worried about your where about, the patriarch has been looking everywhere for you, most of the elders have already gone to look for both of you" an elder at the entrance said


    "Where is my brother" Tu Zhang asked.


    "the patriarch is in his courtyard"


    "I''ll go to see him now" said Tu Zhang.


    But what he didn''t know was that there was a illusionary man following them, the man had white hair and had eyes as clear as the sky.


    When they stepped into the Tu clan estate the man had a light smile on his face.

 Chapter 6 :The shocking news

    After walking for a short period of time Tu Zhang who was currently holding baby Shura and leading three year old Tu Tsuki appeared in front of a large wooden house that had two guards guarding the entrance to that courtyard.


    The two guards were medium built and were wearing leather armor and had a short sword on their waist.


    The minute they saw Tu Zhang and Tu tsuki they immediately bowed and said


    "We greet First elder "


    "We greet the young miss"


    The guards were very respectful the way they looked at Tu Zhang was full of worship. To these guards Tu Zhang was a god.


    Afterall most of the guards didn''t have much talent when it came to magic, even to these to men protecting this courtyard who was fairly stronger than the rest of the guards had eyes full of awe while in the presence of Tu Zhang and some slight fear.


    But these guards were dumbstruck as they saw one of the strongest men they met holding a small baby with white hair in a cradling position.

    He had long white hair that reached his shoulders, which gave off a glow making him look holy and majestic .His facial feature were the age of twenty year old .He was handsome and had a heroic yet dangerous feel to his looks that could cause any woman to fall for his charm.     inside a vast space illuminated with tiny dots in the sky like stars the ground itself reflected the sky like still water ,suddenly a slight ripple was seen  , a dragons roar could be heard as a twenty year old looking youth with white hair appeared in this space. When he touched the ground the ripples intensified.

    After being sealed Shura regained consciousness 500 years earlier before Tu Zhang and Tu tsuki came  , after regaining consciousness there was a flood of memories coming to him some were fragments of inheritence and knowledge and there was a message that seemed to be from his parents .


    From these messages he new his name and identity.


    He new from his parents memories that he was the heir of two clans


    The first is the  Ryu Shen clan that was an ancient clan that were the decendants of the ancient dragon Shen long. He was the grandson of the patriarch and the son of the son of the patriarch.


    The second is the ancient Soul eater clan this clan was a clan made up of the decendants from two gods , Anubis and Hades. His mother  was the most outstanding clansman and had the purest bloodline of the two gods in her that was in complete harmony.


    He wasn''t able to get there names from the memories it seemed as thou something was intentionally sealing their identities.


    He also knew from the first time he awoke that as he walked the path of magic memories will slowly surface.


    When he awoke 500 years ago in the crystal he got a instant Psychic message left from his parents saying that both clans has met misfortune so he was sent far away to escape.


    so he began to desperately struggle to free himself from the sealing crystal and as time grew by his soul got stronger until it was able to leave his body and out of the crystal.

    He said as he looked at a middle aged  man sitting in a high chair with elders sitting on the floor in front of him .

 Chapter 7 :His resolve

    Everyone in the hall gasped for breath because ofthe sudden feeling of a suffication. the elders began to look around trying to find out what was that feeling the only people that seemed ignorant of what was happening was Tu Zhang and Tu tsuki who was standing by his side.


    But that feeling quickly disappeared as quickly as it came. The elders could only sigh and think maybe it was just a high level magus passing by. But even this made their inner most feeling tremble what kind of strength does one need to be to get them to feel powerless to such a degree.


    "Whats the matter " Seeing his brother and elders look around in such a manner Tu Zhang was bewildered.


    All the elders including the patriarch watched Tu Zhang strangely, after all Tu Zhangs strength was only second to the patriarch.


    "Elder Zhang have you truly not feel that sufficating pressure a moment ago" an old man with white hair ,that wore a black robe with Tu family insignia asked.This man was the second elder Tu Mal .

    "Leave Shura alone you big meanie" said an unexpected voice this person was three year old Tu tsuki. Due to her high intelligence no one saw it accidental that she spoke cleary, but they were suprised that she spoke out of turn.


    Even the patriarch her father almost fell down out his high chair. From this he could tell his daughter was attatched to this baby already from that he knew what he should do.


    " Elder brother Zhang i will allow you to take care of this child , but this must not clash with your duties as the first elder and if you cannot find this childs parents i will break the rules and allow you to take care of him but the Tu families resources will not be used on him, so you will provide his resorces."

    Tu Zhang knew this was his brothers way of giving him a way to keep Shura and provide residence for him .  Chapter 8 :The plan for the future

    Glancing at the name stitched unto the pillow Tu Zhangs eyes began to get misty. Tu rain was his son he was killed mysteriously on a trip to the Royal capital on a carriage holding fifteen people and his mother Tu Zhangs wife Muraine.

    "Hey little ghost don''t catch me"


    "Shura is so fast"


    In an alley way in between two small huts.A white haired boy that had his hair reaching his shoulders ,tied in a pony tail was running behind a black haired nine year old girl and a blue haired five year old boy.


    The white haired boy was wearing a simple brown coarse pants and a brown knitted shirt but even so they did not look demeaning at all but showed a type of elegance of royalty.


    The white haired boy was very handsome for his age ,he was already showing signs of a man that would cause kingdoms to fall just by his looks.


    Even as adults passed the children play they would stop and look at the boy.


    Some will pass and give him and the others a slight smile ,while most looked at him mainly with contempt.


    The white haired boy was of course shura .After all who would like to see the future help playing around.The fact that he was also playing with the black haired girl also caused him many problems.


    The black haired girl was no doubt Tu tsuki after six years her face started to show a light scholary look with a slight maturity even for a nine year old.

    The blue haired boy is known as Tu Zen the son of the Tu family guards commander Tu Sha.


    Tu Zen and his father are not apart of the direct bloodlines of the Tu family but they enjoy a lofty status as his father is the second youngest in the clan to become a novice rank 2.


    " Hey stop teasing him Tu Zen". Tu tsuki said with a childish giggle.


    "Anyway we should all go home the sky is getting dark and if we dont get home in time our parents would kill us , after all the awakening ceremony is tomorrow " said Tu tsuki.

 Chapter 10 :the Savior

    In a dark alley at the southern area of Blood mage city also known as the commoners area . Three figures could be seen moving about.


    ''''Huff.. huff......Sarah run I''ll try to stop him so you could escape." said a man dressed in brown tattered clothes, while he covered the gruesome blade wound on his left hand.


    In front of this man was another man dressed in black tattered clothes and had a bloody jagged blade in hand.


    "No malcome i will not leave you" said the lady behind him dressed in a blue gown as she attempted to screamfor help .


    "No one will save you just quickly hand over all your possesions you have on you and leave the woman behind" said the black clothed man with a lascivious smile.


    "Never ... Sarah run now !" said the brown clothed man.


    Before the blue clothed woman could say anything ,the man lunged at their black clothed assailant .


    With a smirk the black cothed man thrusted the knife at his desperate victim. But in that split second a shadow ran into the alley and pushed the brown clothed man away then held the blade of the knife black clothed assailant''s hand.


    All this happened too quickly stunning the black clothed man. Even the woman who was praying for help couldn''t help but be startled by the sudden turn of events.

    A black shadow sat down on the floor . "Wow that was a good work out today..I should try to get back before grandpa gets home."


    With that said the figure removed the coth obstructing his face and rest of his head. Allowing long white hair to flow down its back and revealing a childish yet handsome face . This person was none other than Shura.


    Starting when he was five shura began noticing he was different than most kids his age.


    His strenght was above them and so were his reaction speed, stamina and other things.


    So he began lifting weights and doing other things to test himself.


    But about half a year ago he started hearing about the rise in crime in the commoners district from his grand father and other members of the Tu clan . They were also saying the other clans are sending some younger ones around 10-16yrs old to the commoners district to do some experimental trainig and have them catch criminals.So he felt like he should start training there as well.


    After many fights he more or less grasped his physical capabilities.

    In a restaraunt just outside the commoners district ten teens and two ten year olds were sitting at a table eating and laughing.

 Chapter 11 :Len Zen

    In the restaurant the twelve youths all laughed as they spoke about their recent improvements and flaunted their family¡¯s wealth.


    "Waitress another jug of purple vine wine." said a 16yr old boy dressed in black, as he slapped the passing waitress¡¯s behind. Even after the young man did so the waitress only smiled at the young man and went to get the wine.


    From this one could tell that the young man had a very high status. It wasn''t just the young man that had a high status even the other twelve youths with him had the same level of status and some even had higher statuses than him.


    The 16 yr. old black clothed youth name is Denzil he was a member of the Shen clan and the grand child of the seventh elder of the Shen clan.


    " Humph...I heard the Shen clan raises pigs but I didn''t believe it until just now."


    After he heard those remarks Denzil quickly turned to his left to look at the person who just spoke. Whichwas ayoung 16yr old girl in a white dress. She had slim eyebrows and a beautiful oval face. Witha graceful yet cunning aura around her and even though she was sitting you could clearly see her curves leaving onlookers wanting to see more.


    This young lady was the daughter of the President of a merchant company called the Blood Wind Trading company, Mia Clearwater.


    She is sixteen this year and is at the sixth level of the elemental body realm and a well-known talent of the younger generation in Blood Mage City and several other cities surrounding it. She is known for her beautiful looks and kind temperament that doesn''t change even as she castrates lustful men that can''t control themselves around her.


    But because of her background She would rarely receive an act of retribution. Even when she does the matter would be made small by both parties to avoid offending each other even more. After all a trading company is in possession of things the large clans will need sooner or later so it¡¯s best to stay on good terms. Even if they didn''t the victims wouldn''t dare push for justice because at most times it was their fault. A larger part of the reason is because the Blood Wind trading company had many strong mages and a wide network of friends so it was simply suicide to attack them.

Even today he showed how crazy he was for her by changing from a black robe he had on into a white suit he sent a servant for in order to match with him.


    It¡¯s not that the young man never confessed his feeling before it¡¯s just every time he did he was rejected until the constant rejection turned into simple beating''s. His father the patriarch also proposed marriage to Mia''s father only to be rejected. Yet this did not stop his desire to for her.


    As if reacting to Denzils gazeRanz looked at him with a teasing look in his eyes.

    At that moment everyone turned their eyes toward the young man that spoke. This man had a handsome appearance and a kingly aura around him, as if he looked down on everyone around him. He also gave one the feeling as if he were strong winds ready to slice you up. He wore a grey fur coat and his hair slightly floated in the air as if there was an up thrust of air underneath him. This man¡¯s name was Len Zen, grandson of the past patriarch of the Len clan and current Grand elder Len Shin.


    He is 15yrs with a magic level of the 8th level of the elemental body realm and the strongest amongst the current youths. These achievements are to be attributed to his magic body of the Fantasy grade ''the silk wind body''

 Chapter 12 :Preparations For Red Wind Institute scouting

    Len Zen watched as everyone focused on him and felt a little self-satisfied at heart. This is the feeling he loved the most after all.


    Clearing his throat, he continued "As you all know soon There will be an arrival of a representative from Red wind institute, as the most promising of the younger generation of our respective clanseven so it is not known what the requirements for the acceptance."


    "So what are you suggesting we do?"Ranz said.


    Everyone also wondered after all this wasn¡¯t a decision they can affect especially since they don¡¯t even know the criteria used.


    Len Zen watched everyone¡¯s doubtful eyes, but was not surprised, this was all within his expectations. So he smiled and responded.


    "I have just gotten news from one of my father¡¯s old friends who is in Basin City that the recruitment would be allowed to anyone under the age of 18 and the requirements are; talent, battle experience and at least a cultivation of elemental body 4th tier."


    When the group heard this some frowned while some had hope in their eyes.


    Len Zen then continued "The cultivation level isn¡¯t a must though as ones talents may overrule this need"


    "In terms of if you do not meet the cultivation criteriain terms oftalent you must have a High compatibility"


    When Len Zen finished his sentence those that had hope in their hearts when they heard they may not have to be an elemental body of the 4th tier suddenly lost hope.

    For example, if someone has a low affinity with water and fire and amedium affinity for earth and Wind. While having a high affinity for wood they may choose to absorb only those particles and keep the wood as the one with the most particles absorbed.


    You can choose to only absorb and one type as well but this may speed up or slow down your progress depending on person to person and the environment.


    Law seeker realm is where the mage contacts laws and may incorporate them but for those living in blood mage city this level is almost a legend.

    While everyone was feeling down someone came upstairs, it was a young youth dressed as a butler, he then proceeded to Len Zen and whisper something in his ears.


    Listening Len Zen became annoyed


    "What¡¯s wrong brother Zen?" , asked Mia


    "It seems someone feels we aren¡¯t doing a good job" he said


    He then proceeded to tell in detail about what his butler told him which was about a vigilante going around helping people in the slums.


    Their purpose for being sent out is actually to be training by handling the crime problems in the slums. Now someone has come and done their job better it has naturally annoyed these self-centered youths, especially after the pressure of the Red Wind institute they were looking for ways to blow off steam.


    So they naturally stayed and started planning how to deal with this sea gull trying to play canary.

 Chapter 13 :FInding a solution

    Shura had no idea there was a group of gifted youths and aristocrats right now planning to get rid of him because of the recent deeds of his acts heroism.


    Going back home Shura the made sure there was no one around then took off his disguise revealing his distinct shiny white hair. Slightly sighing Shura dropped onto his bed the gazed at the ceiling.


    Squeak


    The door opened and in came a wise old man. Even though one may see the effects of years on his face he actually didn¡¯t give off a feeling of fragility. He gave off a feeling of one that has mastered many storms and survived many wars. His body also didn¡¯t match his age he was standing straight and looked like a middle aged man if you only watched his build.


    This was Tu Zhang. He faltered at the door a bit then he looked at Shura and gave a smile.


    Shura greeted him in turn, but for some reason Shura can sense that there was a look of worry behind that smile.


    Slightly thinking Shura thinks he can guess why. Didn¡¯t take long after the guess settled in loud cheering and congratulations came from next door.

    In Blood Mage City Demrin had a reputation, although he wasn¡¯t the highest ranked alchemist in blood mage city but when it came to biologic changes he can be ranked third. It was even said that he helped create a homunculus using the body of a mage at the 7<sup>th</sup> tier of the elemental body and a mystique beast.


    When Demrin examined Shura it naturally alarmed some elders after all they could see something was weird for a child of his age to have so much strength without awakening. However, the results were disappointing. Demrin conducted a series of test all of which either failed or couldn¡¯t detect anything.


    Shura was then regarded as a cursed child by everyone. Someone neglected and forgotten by mana.


    After this most thought his fate was sealed after all in people¡¯s eyes this is a fair trade to live using the Tu family as a shelter it¡¯s only natural you serve them. Tu Zhang on the other hand felt uncomfortable about this, after all for these years he watched Shura grow up from a baby, even watched him learn to walk.


    It feels just like a parent that is ready to see their kids do great things, if not any of that just the fact that back then it was because of Shura that he and Tu tsuki was able to survive.


    So Tu Zhang didn¡¯t feel good having the child he considered his own and the savior of his life to become a servant of the clan.


    Shura watched the face of the elder that cared for him for many years and felt grateful after all the reason why .The Tu Zhang is worrying so much is because he actually cares.


    He knows the reason why Tu Zhang is so anxious is one to show his worth and slowly erode the status of future servant in the clan and to give him a spot at the awakening ceremony tomorow.


    After all Shura had to show potential that needs investment so that the clan may take him seriously.


    Even though Tu Zhang remembered the scene from when he first met him it didnt prove much after all there are many wonders in this world of magic and if he attributed Shura being sealed in a stone to him being for sure extraudinary then he was afraid he might regret it.


    Shura knew all of this especially since he wasnt a relative of the Tu clan in the least so he wouldnt expect them to just invest in him.


    "Well it seems I can only hope to find the solution to that problem some other way if I dont get the spot for the awakening ceremony" he thought.

    Today is the day. The day that many children of the different clans and families have been waiting for. The awakening Ceremony.


    This Ceremony is used to stimulate the youths of the clans so they may awaken. Even without an awakening ceremony its possible for kids to awaken such as the awakening of the child of Tu May and Malcolm who after awakening had already been saturated by 2%. However, if he had been able to awaken during the awakening ceremony there is a high a chance that he may have surpassed that and reach at least 4% at his initial awakening.


    The more saturated your body is before cultivation the better as there will be less obstacles and less time spent on getting your body to adapted to mana. This may increase the rate of mana absorption and help the increase in mana absorption hence helping his practice in the elemental body realm.


    The ceremony is conducted by the Five Great clans. The Array formation was done by 6<sup>th</sup> Tier official Array master that was jointly invited and payed for by the Five great clans.


    The awakening Ceremony is done by using the blood of a magical beast that was at the level of Tu Zhang which was 9<sup>th</sup> stage Initiate and a Mystique beast of the same level. The difference between a Mystique beast and a magical beast is that a Mystique beast is a Ferocious beast that opened its intelligence then was blessed by the heavens with a mystic way, this mystic way is different from magic as it uses the beasts body and blood that has been saturated by mana as fuel or a way to activate it. An easier way to tell them apart is the dark patterns on the Mystique beast. While a magical beast is normally born a magical beast and has the inherent ability to communicate with mana and cast magic, they also have a talent ability that they were born with. Ferocious beast on the other hand ae just beast that have great physical strength and no spiritual wisdom.

    Watching Tu Zhang leave Shura then went on his bed and closed his eyes.


    In Shura¡¯s spiritual space he looked up at the starry sky that was no longer seem to be just stars. If one looks closer you would notice that these stars are runes and they seem to be arranged in some special way, if you look at it longer you may just see some of these runes seem to compose chains that stretch out towards all around.


    This is what he has noticed during these six years these stars seem to be restrictions placed on him , just touching them seem to resonate with every fiber of his being causing much discomfort.

    Shura felt depressed just thinking of this, but he knew two things the strength his body has is attributed to his family background and that The Awakening Ceremony might be a chance to see if any changes might happen.

 Chapter 15 :Everyone is planning ahead

    In the hall the management of the Tu clan watched as the two argued. A while later someone stepped in.

    This man is the past patriarch of The Len family Len Shi who is over 70 years old. Behind him was Len Zen and some others that seem to be respectfully following him, these were Len Shi¡¯s descendants.


    Of all the organizations in Blood Mage City the Len family has the longest history, the amount of their current high level mages is not even properly known.


    Currently the outside world knows that The old retired patriarch of the Len family Len Shi is in seclusion because of a serious wound he got when travelling. Previously he was at the peak of the 5<sup>th</sup> level of the Core realm after healing his wound he went a step further and broke through to the 1<sup>st</sup> layer of the Law seeker realm.

 Chapter 16 :Line up

    Shen clan in an underground cave, one can see black fishy water running down the lines of the cave, and at the sides of the bottom edges of the sides of the cave were ditches dug where a dark red liquid ran up stream.


    The Shen clan Patriarch and two elders came to the deepest part of the cave where there was a deep lake where all these liquids converged. Stepping forward the Shen clan Patriarch cut his wrist and let a drop of blood drip onto the lake.


    The drop of blood didn¡¯t fall in instead it stayed above the surface of the lake then it shone, when it did below the lake six rectangular boxes shone and a black magic circle could be distinctly seen contrasting the light coming from the boxes. Then a flash of light flew up and arranged six magic formations that formed an array from each came a sound as if the call of many souls.


    ¡°Motan what is the progress on the plans¡± a sound that sounded slightly feminine came from one of the formations.


    ¡°Everything is moving smoothly; the array master has already been bribed in order to set up an array to detonate upon our signal¡± said The Shen clans¡¯ patriarch whose name is Shen Motan.

    The blood moon square is a historical site of blood moon City as it is said that it is here that the founding mage saw the clear moon hanging in the sky reflect on the water as a blood moon.


    Many have thought that the lake itself has something special sow they would dive to the bottom. It is a pity though that anyone that dives below 150 feet would lose all means of communication and is never found or heard of again this has made this lake a restricted zone, but once every ten years there is a time when the mana is especially strong and gathers in this area hence it is still visited and is used by the clans as a place to carry out the ceremony.


    As Shura and the others walked he would look around he saw Tu tsuki who was by the patriarch and it may be his imagination but it seems as if the elders are surrounding her vaguely in order to protect her.


    He also saw Tu Zen with his blue hair looking very excited about the ceremony.


    On the way there they could see the other great clans on their way to the site.


    When they entered the square everyone found their own spot to settle while the Patriarchs made their way towards an old man who was standing next to a pond that had an altar in the middle.


    After talking the gestured for their respective groups to line up. Intentionally or unintentionally Shura was placed last of the Tu family in the que.


    After the old man said some greetings towards everyone he then raised his hands, then from his brow one could see light shining as it flowed into his eyes, His eyes then changed purple.

 Chapter 17 :Surging Start

    The first one to go up was a young girl wearing a black Tunic with the Shen clan emblem on it, she stepped on the slim walkway towards the center altar, it could be seen that this girl is slightly nervous but her will is firm as she never faltered on the way across.


    She was directed by a man that seemed to be assisting the old man to the center of the altar, the assistant then drew back by walking across the lake to an open space in the square.


    The Array master then clasped his raised hands as his purple eyes seemed to stare at the altar the young girl was on, well informed people knew that he was monitoring the array formation.


    With flashing lights runes began to float out from the formation laid on the altar then two small whirlpools appeared on the left and right side of the girl from on the lake. If one was up in the air you would see a big formation diagram just ten feet above the surface of the lake and above, it was many flashing lights which were the treasures provided.


    As the whirlpool turned a small waterspout appeared on each of them, then as if guided by some mysterious force they went straight for the girl as their tips were turned against her as if two lances.


    Silence


    Just before reaching her body they stopped in front of a wall composed of many runes, then a drop at a time the liquid began to secrete into the wall then go straight for the girl and then it burst turning into mist that was then absorbed by the girl with every breath she took.


    Throughout this process the girl seemed nervous but didn¡¯t freak out, as it seems she was prepared.


    After a while she started trembling as her closed eyes opened wide.


    Then a bright light came from the center of her chest, the light enveloped her, from the light one could see the shadow of a book.


    At this point the assistants made some gestures and then some tapped the air while others tapped the ground, a multi colored light then rose from the sides of the altar blocking the view of those from the outside.


    Of course this cannot completely hide from the eyes of the Patriarchs at the Core realm if they really tried, but this would have revealed and showed by the barrier, this would cause the other Patriarchs to gang up on the culprit hence no one will do that.


    The shadow of that book was her life tome every human awakens their tome during their awakening, this is their blessing that has helped this weak race to stand firm in the nine realms.


    It is multipurpose but its greater use is to help the mortal humans to cultivate into something more.


    Normally most magicians under the truth seeking realm would not take their tomes out in front of others easily unless they needed it to do a large spell that may strain them or at life or death moments as they are frail before being baptized from the laws.     These are the things that Shura has learned over the years from books he got from Tu Zhang as he wasn¡¯t allowed to go into the Tu family¡¯s library.


    The girl weakly sat onto the altar only to be led by the array master¡¯s assistant back to her family. Later she would probably be assessed so they could know what elements she aligns with and what¡¯s her talents, or if there is anything special.

    After Two hours eighteen children had already went up, of the eighteen seven didn¡¯t awaken after twenty minutes, they were then taken from the altar a received some kind words from their elders, but everyone knows that they will be treated differently in their respective organizations.


    Then a young girl came out from the Tu clan¡¯s que ready to go towards the altar, this girl is none other than Tut Tsuki. While watching Tut suki about to go forward though Tu Zhang saw something, He saw a small smile on the Shen Patriarchs lips, although it retracted quickly it was still seen by him.


    Feeling something wrong he decided to tell his brother, but what happened next shocked him.

    Ehen Tu Zhang heard his brother¡¯s words he was going to say something to stop him, but then Two elders already escorted Shura over with speed, as it seems they were told by the patriarch to escort him before Tu Zhang reacted.


    It was already too late Tu Zhangs brief hesitation allowed them to carry Shura next to the walkway with the assistant with the assistant.

    Watching this scene Shen Motan was slightly caught off guard, as the preparations were already set to go off in the next awakening.


    What he set up was a surge that would cause large amounts of mana and energy from the materials of the ceremony to not go in amounts at which would kill someone that isn¡¯t awakened or isn¡¯t at the novice realm. It was his plan to kill Tut suki with it then he and the assistant he bribed would say it was all an accident caused by the formation.


    But he never thought that these preparations would be done on a boy he didn¡¯t even pay attention to.

    Going onto the altar. Shura then takes a look around seeing Tu Zhang¡¯s worried face and Tu tsukis


    Confusion.


    Shura then took back his vision and focused on the formation under his feet because it was starting,


    The light then began to cover Shura.


    Currently Shura was focusing his perception onto his body to see if there are any changes. The only thing he could tell is that his body was absorbing the energy but he could feel that the seal was restraining his body from absorbing too much this caused no changes in his body. This isn¡¯t what he wanted. Right now he could feel a sense of hunger from every part of his body and he also felt a little instability, but this is what he hopes for, for only this way may the seal placed on him be loosened at least a bit.


    While he was thinking about this, he suddenly felt like the energy being sent into his body began to increase rapidly, then like a surge it increased greatly.


    From the perspective of those outside of the altar the waterspouts were like a python that swallowed something and was regurgitating. This scene perplexed many but few realized what was happening. Tu Zhang ran towards the altar, slightly hesitant the Tu family Patriarch ran forward as well.

 Chapter 18 :The change in form -Part 1:weakening of the seal

    The energy then slammed directly into Shura who was in the middle of absorption.


    Tu Zhang and the others were too late they could only watch as it happened

    On the altar Shura could see everyone¡¯s eyes focus on him, but at the moment he was in pain, blood was rolling in his body and his heart felt like it was going to burst his eyes had already turned red. His pale skin started turning red as well and one could see his veins appearing like worms on his body. It was like he was experiencing the world worst torture.


    Flashes of runes could be seen appearing on his skin, and the mana in the area seemed to form chains in the air tying to restrict him. The clouds in the sky suddenly turned dark and even flashes of thunder was seen.


    While all these things happened on the outside. Internally Shura¡¯s body was being destroyed and reconstructed. His heart split then reformed. Forming a vague outlook of three separate hearts that seemed to get formed more accurately and became solid entities once they split, this process happened five times. When it happened the sixth time, lightning in the sky suddenly came down and hit Shura, all spectating Patriarchs, Leaders and some elders seemed to think of something.


    ¡®Heavenly Tribulation¡¯


    The transformation of his hearts isn¡¯t the only thing Shura was experiencing, on the outside his skin began to emit grey smoke then as his skin turned pitch black.


    After which his muscles began to harden and some bones in his body began to grow weirdly. The bone section just below his wrist seemed to separate one layer from the top of itself and expanded, turning into two thick bracelets.


    These bone bracelets turned into pitch black the minute they surfaced from his skin then at a speed neither too slow nor fast, golden runes began to appear them .


    The broken skin from which they surfaced had already healed, the bracelets which were wide and thick enough to be called shackles stayed above his arms like two accessories.     Then an exoskeleton armor appeared on his chest, they were cast from his upper layer of muscle and his ribcage  protecting his upper body . His normally white irises were nowhere to be seen as his entire eye turned grey.


    After that another ray of thunder shot down and struck shura making him huff and cough up blood that was obliterated the minute it left his mouth by residual energy.


    Inside his body there was the sound of breaking glass from his stomach area, this sound came from his dantian which stored the mana for all mages that successfully completed the elemental body. but what happened next completely subverted his cognition Inside his chest an object could be seen floating around. This object looked weird, it looked as if it was a black a black tear drop, one can feel the negative emotions coming from it was absorbing the mana and turning it into a different type of energy,  growing larger with each breath. Inside of it one would feel as if they were watching the process of death itself. He felt an inexplicable thought that if he


    With a roar grey and black mist came from his body and turned into a black rhombus shaped crystal as big as Shuras hand.


    Boom!


    Another lightning strike hit Shura''s shaking and mutilated body.Even further damaging the altar.


    With a cough Shura then Extended his hand and the crystal like tear drop floated upon his palm. He felt connected to it as if it was created from him and was a part of him. The crystal then split apart from the top and spread in different directions like flower petals. On each of these extended crystal edges Shura could see runes of different colors coursing through the crystal.


    Around this crystal  appeared different magic circles in a special layout. Around the center, there was a magic circle which had the image of flowing water that had an ice crystal in the middle, and orbiting this magic circle was a vague magic circle that had two different colored liquids contained within it. One was white with sparkling light, which made It look like a river of stars. The second looked like a brown liquid but the magic circle containing them was vague as if it can disappear at any moment.


    The next magic circle appeared a large mountain orbiting this magic circle was a smaller concise magic circle with the image of of different colored rocks inside of it.


    In a separate magic circle appeared lightning but this lightning divided every second into white and black.


    The upper levels of the orb had four laid out scrolls which each had, darkness, Starlight, space and destiny written on it. But unlike the three concise scrolls the one with Destiny written on it was vague almost non existent.


    It was then that the fourth lightning strike came down shattering his body leaving some burning flesh, but at this point shura couldn¡¯t pay attention to the pain he felt because he was experiencing new changes.


    His body healed quickly then he started experiencing new changes to his body.

 Chapter 19 :The change in form -Part 2

    His face then began to deform . First it partly protruded like a dogs snout. His front teeth then grew two sharp canines, the armor and bracelets that emerged hen went back into his body.


    The sound of bones breaking resounded as if fire crackers, his body trembled then four horns protruded from his forehead .


    His skin started to crack then burn off as if it were flammable paper,  white glittering scales then began to appear on his skin.


    After some time had passed  the original Shura could no longer be seen what appeared there was a small 10-meter-long dragon, that had white glistening scales, shimmering as with light like the stars. Its eyes were fully white.


    If you looked close enough you would see an aurora of colors in its eyes. With it came the glimpse of grey shape that looked like a crescent moon in his left eye.


    Shaking its body a roar came out of its mouth and in one of its four claws appeared a purple orb. Shining in light  marks continuously appeared on the org as if engraved  they changed and shimmered  until it formed a black claw mark with red eyes, at the same time around this orb appeared two circles of light.


    After the last strike from the tribulation. Shura felt as if some kind of restriction began to take effect again. His draconic body began to shrink and turn back to a human form. The residual lightning and surging mana in the area were inhaled into his body quickly.


    After the dust and light cleared everyone could clearly see the figure of Shura.


    There was no obvious changes other than his pale skin taking on a wheat color and his height growing a bit more.


    Those at the origin realm sensed the true changes that those watching weren''t able to see .They could feel that Shura''s aura is at the elemental body 9<sup>th</sup> layer and those in the origin realm with sharper senses and support abilities tied to sensing energy could tell his body is saturated to the point in their eyes there was a colorful  mist circling his body.The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.


    After a while everyone returned back to their senses all the patriarchs including the Tu family patriarch ran towards Shura. In their mind one thought arose.

    The Len Patriarch Len Mo suddenly turned fierce, he pulled out a glimmering green sword. Then began to attack the closest person which was the Shen Clan Patriarch,Shen Motan.


    As he attacked with the sword ,his other hand started making signs, an azure magic circle appeared on his palm which he directed at his sword . The swords light grew brighter, then a Shadowy copies  of the sword were formed in the air  following its movements and attacked  separately.


    The Tu clan Patriarch found his match as he casted a spell that blasted stone from the ground toward President Ted Clearwater they then began to fight.


    President Clearwater used a water elemental spell Snake horde ravisher. Water appeared and shaped into snakes began to be formed from the blue magic circle around his arm and attack Tu Rozan, but what he kept his eyes on was a light blue magic circle that formed on President Clearwater¡¯s back and head. He knew that the true killing move lay in these two formations.


    The other elders and guards of the five clans began their own brawl.


    Tu Zhang was besieged by two elders from the Shen and Len clan .It was weird that no elder from the Tu family helped him but they kept an eye on him, not only to monitor his safety but also to make sure he didn¡¯t approach Shura.


    Shura stood above the altar watching all this with blank eyes, inside of his spiritual world cracks could be seen appearing in the sky after some time they would repair themselves this process was repeated many times.


    However this isn¡¯t what attracted Shura¡¯s attention. What he was paying attention to was the countless pieces of  information appearing in his mind and the changes he could feel his body going through. If before his body was like a broken vase that was fit together like a jigsaw puzzle , now he could feel those pieces that were fit together start to merge a little making him feel more comfortable in his own skin.
