《World of Warcraft- New beginnings》
New Landings
If you already have a good deal of knowledge on wow lore, just skip this chapter till you see the line breaks
In a small room in front of a 3 screened desktop sat a rather large man. Not to be insulting but it was rather a fact of life that he was a bit chubby. He was rapidly typing on the keyboard in front of him while screaming curses at both his incompetent teammates and the enemies, though without a mic he would never be heard.
"GET TO THE FUCKING TOWER! IT''S IN DANGER!!!!! FUCK!" he slammed his hands down on his table shaking the monitors on in. his screen displayed a defeat sign followed by his character doing an animation of failure. "WELL FUCK YOU TOO GAME!" he immediately signed off from the game before taking a few seconds to calm down.
Breath in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds and release for 4 seconds. "Well, at least something works so far, unlike that incompetent retard of shit, what was his name? Ah well, I will just report him later." the young man began muttering to himself while he began getting his next game started, WOW, also known as World of Warcraft.
A relaxing game, at least on PVE servers where you won''t be ganked every 5 seconds by enemies of the opposite faction. "LOGIN DETECTED" while logging in a surround sound robotic voice came from nowhere. As he looked around he noticed a small golden and blue globe appear in front of him. it had just appeared out of thin air. one second there was nothing nothing, the next second it''s there in its shiny little glory. Like magic. While looking at the oddly beautiful little ball, he attempts to touch it. Much to his regret, for as soon as he touched it, it was like it was being ripped off. He immediately tried pulling back, only to his dismay as the globe instead pulled him to it. He tried to use his other to push the globe away. Not the smartest move as his hand went straight into the globe and immediately felt the ripping pain. He was slowly but surely pulled into it till his whole body was out on the other side.
----------------------
Throughout stories, there have been many different world''s that people have conquered. Be it through invasion and war, peace and diplomacy, or through the economy. However, few which are as war-torn as the world of Azeroth.
The elemental spirits of Azeroth became more and more erratic as time went on. the longer they lived the more the elements fought, causing the elements of Azeroth to become extremely violent and destructive.
The elementals raged freely on primordial Azeroth, waging war upon one another for endless millennia, and the four Elemental Lords reigned supreme over innumerable lesser spirits. Al''Akir the WindLord, used to send his minions to spy on his enemies and sow distrust to weaken them. Ragnaros, The Firelord, embraced brute force, seeking to boil the seas, reduce mountains to slag, and choke the skies with ash. Therazane, The StoneMother, was reclusive, entrenching herself behind towering mountain ranges before attacking her exhausted foes. Neptulon, The Tide Hunter, fought strategically, allowing the forces of the other elements to clash, before crushing his divided rivals.
When the Old Gods plummeted down from the Great Dark Beyond, they slammed into Azeroth''s surface and embedded themselves in the continent of Kalimdor. For the first time in history, the four Elemental Lords banded together in an attempt to fight the Old Gods'' fledgling empire. Though the elementals were mighty, they could not stand against the constant swarm of N''raqi and Aqir, creatures created in the image of the old gods and made to fight their wars, and they were enslaved by the Old Gods. Without the native spirits of Azeroth to counter the Old Gods'' influence, the borders of the Black Empire crept over much of the world.
The Old Gods constantly fought against each other, through infinite armies that clashed in ceaseless battle. The forces of N''Zoth, led by the C''Thraxxi Warlord Zon''ozz, waged an endless war against the forces of C''Thun and Yogg-Saron and at one point, N''Zoth also lost a great battle to Y''Shaarj in the land now known as the Broken Shore. However, as was so often the case, even defeat ultimately worked in N''Zoth''s favor.
One day, however, the Titans arrived with the intention of purging Azeroth of the Old Gods'' corruption and saving its growing world-soul. As the Titans'' bodies were too massive for them to take action directly without risking permanent harm to the planet, they instead crafted the mighty titan-forged ¡ª the Aesir and the Vanir ¡ª to do battle in their stead. The titan-forged succeeded in defeating the Elemental Lords and sealing them in an Elemental Plane and destroyed most of the Aqiri race, but when they began making their way towards the temple city of Y''Shaarj, the Pantheon feared that the Old God would prove too great a challenge for them. Aman''Thul the Highfather decided to take direct action, despite the risk of inflicting permanent damage to the planet. Thus, he reached down through Azeroth''s skies and ripped Y''Shaarj from the surface of the world, tearing the Old God apart and obliterating hundreds of titan-forged in the process. To the Titans'' horror, a great wound was left in Y''Shaarj''s wake, and the world-soul''s arcane lifeblood erupted from the scar to roll out across the world. The Pantheon realized that the Old Gods had burrowed far deeper into the surface than anticipated, and they could not risk excising the remaining three Old Ones, lest Azeroth is completely destroyed. Instead, the Pantheon ordered their titan-forged servants to imprison the remaining Old Gods and contain their evil below the earth, rather than outright killing them.
After several long and difficult battles, the titan-forged succeeded in imprisoning N''Zoth, C''Thun, and Yogg-Saron where they lay, even after Yogg-Saron unleashed its mighty C''Thraxxi generals. The Black Empire was no more, and for the first time in Azeroth''s history, a tentative peace settled over the world.
In the ancient past, the world of Azeroth was comprised of one major continent called ancient Kalimdor but had four known regions. Ulduar is located in the north, Hyjal and Un''goro crater in the west, Uldaman in the east, and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms in the south. At one time, all of the four major continents, The Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Northrend, and Pandaria, were part of this one large super-continent. The Well of Eternity lay in the center of what was ancient Kalimdor and was created when Aman''Thul ripped Y''Shaarj out from the embedded location there.
When the Well exploded at the conclusion of the War of the Ancients, this continent was shattered, leaving behind the continents and islands that exist today. The Forbidding Sea is the expanse of water to the east of the Eastern Kingdoms and the Veiled Sea sits west of Kalimdor. Between the continents lies the Great Sea, while at its center lies the Maelstrom ¡ª a massive chaotic whirlpool over the area where the Well of Eternity once stood.
''Throughout history, it''s believed that a part of the Well still exists in the Rift at the bottom of the vortex. It has been active since the Great Sundering ten thousand years ago and still, there is no foreseeable natural end to its existence.
The Eastern Kingdoms are made up of several sub-continents including the southern sub-continent, Azeroth and Khaz Modan, and the northern sub-continent of Lordaeron.
The Broken Isles are major island group that may have once been a continent but now is more like a few large islands.
Although known to exist for several generations, the major island groups of human-ruled Kul Tiras and troll-ruled Zandalar are becoming more well-known to outsiders, if only to subgroups by major faction.
The world of Azeroth also may have land located at the other side, beyond the Veiled Sea to the west of Kalimdor, and beyond the Forbidding Sea to the east of the Eastern Kingdoms. No one is sure or has knowledge of what kind of creatures, lands, cultures, life, and sentient beings live on the other side of Azeroth. It is likely, though, that it is very dangerous.
"A handful of ships have ventured from Kalimdor away from the Maelstrom ¡ª to the north, west, and south. None have yet returned."
Azeroth also has two moons, the White Lady and Blue Child. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.
However, before the sundering of the well of eternity, and at the very beginning of primordial Kalimdor, there were the elementals. Beings made of earth, water, fire, and wind.
---------------
In an endless void stood a small white light, with a glow similar to that of a torch. It looked to be a small ball simply floating. In the background, different lights began to enter the void until the small light had friends. Though as it was unconscious it didn''t move nor speak. Its background began to morph around him until there stood a small hill, with blades of swords, axes, staves, and small bits of grass trying it''s best to live in front of a fading red sky with small clouds dotting the background. The white little light slowly moved towards the top of the hill before stopping and a loud*CLAP*went off around it causing it to ''jump'' in place. "Where the fuck am I?" it immediately asked no one in particular. Unfortunately, there was a response.
Sup cunt. how did you sleep? good? alright then.currently, you''re in the character creation area. make a good character man, we wanna see a good show from you. if you wondering, yes I''m god, why did I choose you? because you were the first to get on wow at that point in time. what world? wow. good luck fucker. try to amuse me at the very least a little. It wouldn''t be too much fun if you just died. this will be one of the only times I will talk to you. now then have fun.
"........THA FUCK!? WHAT TYPE OF SHITTY GOD ARE YOU!? JUST FUCKING DROPPING ME IN HERE! THAT SHIT FROM EARLIER HURT!..... HEY! YOU FUCKING LISTENING, YOU SOGGY WET CUNT?!" the little ball of light immediately started cursing with such a voice that a sailor would blush from the flood of profanities coming out of it. Eventually sighing the man now wisp went to look at the area he was at. He noticed the hill in all its glory. "Huh, so it''s the beta start. Does that mean I start in vanilla? Dang, I was hoping that I could see Sylvanus before she became the banshee queen."
He begins to look around him and notices the tables full of classes and races, surprisingly all the way up to BFA. "wait, am I spawning in vanilla or BFA? Which one? Ah, whatever let''s try to see what happens now. If I''m going to be stuck here, then I''m going to make the best of it." the man immediately chose trolls while to his right opened small boxes full of information on the race that he had chosen. Next to the clickable troll face opened up a new setting that wasn''t found in the game. It gave 3 options. Zandalari, Gurubashi, or Darkspear.
Looking at this he immediately chose Gurubashi. After all, he found that they had the most interesting back story of all of the trolls while still being one of the most powerful. He immediately began setting up his character. His character was hunched over as almost all males are hunched over with a height of about 9 foot 5 when in slouch mode, but he is about in standing 11 foot 4. He was built like a cheetah, lean and with muscles like cords. though the amount of muscle was easily twice that of an American football player. light blue skin similar that of a stream, hair that looks more like a spine on someone''s head than real hair the color of unpolished silver as it attempted to go forward, small black markings on his face with one on his forehead, 3 on each cheek and one running down his throat. And who could forget the tusks that are protruding upwards at about the length of 1 foot long each tusk. then there were his ears, normally trolls have rather long ears and his character was no different. though he put in three small spikes along the ridges and at the very tip he put in an earring. on his body he put down a couple of scars to look cool.
And finally, he mosied on down to the genitals. He always thought that there should be more variation to the races and now he got it. He checked the average size for most trolls and almost died of embarrassment from his own. Normally he averaged at around 5 but he found the average for trolls was about 8. And here he was almost feeling proud of what he had before this. In a small time rage and embarrassment fueled tantrum, he increased the size to its maximum which was set at 14. Something quite terrifying to most women.
He then moved on to the classes. "Now which one, Hunter, shaman, or Shadow Priest? Hmm.. let''s take another look at the priest." after muttering about for a minute or two he clicks on shadow priest and looks at the boxes which hold information. "Well alright then, now how about the hunter." he tried clicking away from priest to the hunter but he finds that instead of switching spots, the point remained on the priest. He tried clicking different classes all over but found to his utter dismay that he was unable to do so.
"FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! WHY CAN''T I CLICK A DIFFERENT CLASS!?" he began yelling about how unfair it was that he was forced to choose a class when he was only looking. After moping about for a bit he got back up from his knees and looked at the create character button. Feeling a bit regretful of himself he tried to click create character but was stopped when he realized he had no name. "Now then, what is a good troll name? Hmm....... I got it! Raichu! No wait, that''s a pokemon. How about.... Vaiku? Eh, fuck it." he immediately entered the name Vaiku into the bar below him after debating with himself. He felt himself being pulled again though this time (thankfully) it was more pleasant than the last time, as it was like being soaked thoroughly in warm water. As he was fading he had time for one last thought.Wait, will I be a grown adult or a baby? And with that, he floated away.

Year ??? Continent: Eastern Kingdom Area: Stranglethorne vale
On a small island off the coast of the vale was a woman in a small thatch hut, the hut was near the beach. With beautiful clear water, a setting red sun, and a blue sky with nary a cloud to be seen. Truly a wondrous sight. This was of course disturbed by a woman''s screaming. Though to most of the inhabitants nearby, it was no scream but a banshee''s screech. Animals ran from it as they thought it spelled their imminent doom. Though there were a few trolls here that had the same idea so you can''t really the animals dumb. In the hut, a large pregnant troll was screaming at the top of her lungs as a witch doctor was watching her give birth while her husband was off to the side holding his hands to his ears in a vain attempt to keep his eardrums from rupturing. As the woman gave birth the witch doctor walked towards the child as it popped out and began screaming. The witch doctor simply stared at it with old eyes before wrapping the baby and bringing it to the mother. "Look at my son, he will be a strong warrior. Blood and guts for Hakkar doctor." the woman spoke to the witch doctor with reverence in her eyes as she smiled towards him. Staring into his eyes, which were just as sapphire as the ocean he was born on. "your name will be Vaiku, never forget" she spoke in a tone that only a mother could have before passing the now silent child to the father and falling asleep.
----------
(Vaiku POV)
I woke up only to see a rather traumatizing sight. Cold steel eyes looking at me from directly above, with curiosity, happiness, and pride glimmering in his eyes like the stars in the sky. Before I realized it I was picked up by what looked like a giant. it towered over me, though I still knew that somehow this was my father. He had the same color hair as me of unpolished silver, but he held his in a ponytail instead of the spine like mine. Why would you do that to such wonderful hair?I thought as I watched with a glimmer of sadness in my now grey eyes. he seemed to be quite tall, compared even to other trolls, and had a lighter green color to his skin that I did. his tusks protruded out of the sides of his mouth before curving out in front of his face. How difficult it must be to speak with those things in place.
I thought with a giggle to myself, though he seemed to notice and smiled to himself. My fathercarried me over to another giant, though this one was a woman. I looked into her eyes, underneath the matted blue hair, her eyes shone. She looked at me with such caring eyes, I nearly broke down. not that my own mother hadn''t looked at me with love, but never had I seen her look at me like that. it was so beautiful, and so passionate, that I knew it was the look that only a mother who had just given birth could give to her child. Before I knew it, however, I had already been handed to her, and she began gently swaying me in her arms while she began speaking in a language I didn''t understand. it was very gruff sounding, but I could hear the love in her voice. Though one word stood out. Vaiku. My name.
While I was looking my mother over, I began to see that even though by human standards she wasn''t the most beautiful person in the world, she still had youth in her eyes and no wrinkles on her face. she had a light blue skin color and small tusks that immediately came up from her lips about three inches.. her hair was a fiery red, with hints of yellow and orange flowing through it. her hair immediately reminded me of a bonfire that had been woven together into braids that ran down from her head to her a little below her shoulder blades. her amber eyes looked like they could suck a soul out of someone and hold them forever. and finally, I noticed her ears. Her ears had two rings put into them to show that she was married, a standard troll tradition for most women.
I watched as my mom then began to move me back towards my father, who held me gently as he once more looked me over before speaking to my mother. I couldnt understand what the words meant, but I could feel the intent that was behind them. I was being held very gently by him, but I could feel the slight trembling in his arms as he tried not to squish me. I started giggling uncontrollably for a little while, to the point where I thought I was gonna piss myself.
Or maybe I pissed myself in reality, judging from the face my father made.*SIGH* not 5 minutes alive and I''ve already embarrassed myself and disappointed my father. Oh well, at least I beat my last record of 6 years. My father nearly threw me with how fast he jumped away from the feeling of my piss running down his arm. The look on his face caused me to burst out into laughter, while he just stood there. Piss dripping down his arm, his child laughing at him, with a sigh emerging from within his very soul. He tried saying something to me but all it sounded like was what a wolf would sound like if it were given a voice. Gravelly, but still calm. Harsh, but guiding. It is difficult to describe without hearing it. Though it feels familiar. As I was laughing I started to feel my eyes close on meAh, here we go. Let''s take a good old nap. Maybe this will all be a dream when I wake up.
Strength
Continent/Zone/Area: Eastern Kingdom: Stanglethorne Vale: Southern Cape.
*Vai POV*
When I first got here, I thought that maybe it was just a lovely dream. But when pinching, slapping, and punching yourself don''t work, and when you wake up in the same area again and again. You begin to realize that it''s no dream. I mean, the whole three-year dream bit would be a bit hard to explain as well. But that''s inconsequential. As I was saying, I have stopped believing that this is a dream altogether. still, that didn''t make me as sad as you might believe I was incredibly happy with the fact that it was real. I had a mother, a father, and a whole new world to explore right in front of me. if I didn''t take this chance, I might regret it forever.
(Year 1)
As I said, I had been here for about three years, and to be honest, while a little boring at times, it was a lot of fun. I just slept, ate and woke up for the first year. Thebest time of my life.I was happy to just do that and watch as my parents went about their lives of tending to me and doing whatever it is that they do. My mother and father were out of the house frequently and generally came back late into the night. they often switched roles depending on the day that it was. one night, it was Mom, the next night it was Dad. but that doesn''t mean I was alone all the time. I always noticed at least one of them was in the house when the other was out, making food, cleaning, the general things. I have to admit though, it was...Strange... to have to drink breast milk at the mental age of 23.
I couldnt help but get the shudders from just thinking about it. it is humiliating and awkward for me. I didn''thateit though, it was nice, she was quiet and if I closed my eyes it was somewhat comforting. though if I did, it led to a dash of giggling from my mother. I guess I look cute with my eyes closed. I, in my free time, began to think about the world that I was in.How is it real? is my presence going to change anything? will it follow the same path? All these questions that I wanted an answer to, but I couldnt find them. I was still too young to do so, though if I try hard enough I''m fairly certain that I could figure things out myself in due time. But, my questions were halted when I started to think about the in-game mechanics of wow itself. the inventory, the skill system, and the spells. I couldnt help but widen my eyes at that. What had I been missing out on?Could I just keep things in an inventory? can I just learn spells whenever I level up? IS THERE LEVELING UP?!My mind was frantically moving and creating questions that I need answers to but was unable to.
"Shhhh, Ya be too frantic now. it is ok, mama is here." My mother, who was holding me and gently rocking me back and forth, whispered to me. I immediately felt myself go through a little shock in my system as I had completely forgotten her existence in the tsunami of curiosity that had consumed me. I felt myself become more grounded at that moment, more grounded within myself, and with reality. I felt myself be pulled into a gentle lull, as my mother continued to hum a small tune to me. just a small one, but as with all my mother does for me, I could practically hear her heart shoveling the love and the care right onto me. it would be a sad day when I was forced to leave her. be it through death, or migration. I felt myself falling asleep to her tune, the tune that would resonate with my heartbeat for years after my eventual death.
(Year 2)
In the second year, my mother started teaching me different things that any young child should understand. things like the alphabet and how to sound out each word/letter. they taught me numbers and different symbols that hold meaning in most of troll society along with a few symbols exclusive to Gurubashi. it was honestly really difficult, but thanks to my new vocal cords that might as well have been bred to speak the language, I quickly picked it up. much faster than some of the other children. speaking of which, there were HUNDREDS of other children in the same village as me. all of them were playing while I, one of the smartest children, was forced to stay inside and continue to study. though I was sad at the fact that I couldnt live a "normal" childhood, I was happy that I could continue to learn about the lore that Blizzard had failed to teach me.
Such as how most night elves came to be, along with more than a few theories of how the world came into existence. (IDK if they actually said this in the lore. I just haven''t heard it myself. correct me if I''m wrong.) I continued to learn with them about not only historical information, but also information that could save my life. such as the different monsters and the different animals that run around my area. Such as Basilisks, Large Crabs, Crocolisks, Frenzies, Gorillas, Monkeys, Murlocks, Naga, Ogres, Panthers, Raptors, Sharks, Tigers, and Water Elementals.
they were especially worried about naga, as they were more intelligent than any of the others. Naga and water elementals. both are worthy enemies that could cause a great number of problems if an invasion happened.
At my current age and strength, almost anything on the island could kill me. hell, even a plant probably could kill me if it was lucky enough. I sighed at my lack of strength. I could only daydream of my newfound power and strength I would one day possess. fighting an winning against enemies, getting a beautiful wife, and having many children of my own to tell my tales of war as my wife scolds me for giving them nightmares. a smile crept up onto my face as I could see it already, and it was beautiful. I loved the thought. I shook myself out of my stupor and went back to the homework that I had been assigned to me by my mother. I almost whimpered when she first mentioned it to me.
A few hours later and with my homework done, I looked outside and noticed that it was about four-ish in the afternoon.Perfect time to explore.I smirked before sneaking out of my room, looking around and upon noticing my mother was currently in the kitchen making food, I began to make my way towards the door, to sneak out quietly. though, naturally, I was immediately caught when the words, "An where do ya tink ya be goin? I don''t remember givin'' ya permission to go." I stiffened at the words and turned to see my mother staring directly at me with her hands on her hip and a ladle in one of them.
"I.. I just wanted to play outside," I said, trying not to, but still, stutter. She gave me a rather disapproving eye, before sighing and going back to cooking while telling me, "Don''t be gettin'' hurt now. Or ya won''t be gettin'' any soup tonight." I almost kept myself inside when I heard that. Mom''s soup was one of the best things I had ever tasted, and that includes my previous life. it was worth almost anything, but in the end, my curiosity overcame my gluttony for that piece of heaven in my home, and I ran out the door, shouting, "Bye!".
I immediately began running towards the market place. While I didn''t go outside much to play with other kids because of studies, I still went out for various other reasons. So I knew the general layout of the village that I lived in. The village was roughly the size of the darkspear tribe village, if not a bit larger. I immediately came across the different professions and merchants that normally dot the landscape in the game, and they were all dressed and acting accordingly. most of the blacksmiths wore gear that you would expect and were generally hammering away at the anvil while someone younger, most likely their apprentice, sold any of the weapons and was standing at the front. I saw a few herbalists and sewing teachers but I couldnt help but be attracted to the clanging of metal once more.
It was an extreme sport for me, but I managed to force myself away from the clanging and I went past the village market. I walked around trying to find a more secluded area for my real purpose of coming out of the house. I wanted to get stronger, but I would need to work for it. I eventually stumbled across a small area surrounded by a few trees. there weren''t any houses nearby, and after checking for a while, I didn''t notice any identifying marks that this was a beast''s territory.
Studying that book really helped.I thought to myself as I remembered forcing myself to read up on the different monsters and what types of markings they generally held for their territory. I immediately started to formulate a small plan and routine for myself on how to get stronger. I made myself a small workout chart in the dirt, before immediately searing the image into my memory so I would remember it. I started out rather small. Pushups. I had a rough estimate of how strong I was, and I wanted to test that theory.
I immediately felt myself fall to the ground, catching myself in my arms and I began, I got to 25 before I felt my arms burning themselves out and I had to stop myself, otherwise, I wouldn''t be able to even hold onto a cup the next morning.25 Eh? Well, onto the next one.I went on through the rest of my workouts, of crunches, air squats, jumping tests, and pullups using tree branches. by the end of it, I was a little red in the face and the sun looked like it was about six-ish.two hours? Felt longer.I thought to myself as I once more picked myself up from the ground, and I started walking towards my home. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
As I once more walked through the market I was drawn to the clangs that had been going on for the past two hours like a moth to the flame. I walked up to the small smithy and watched in vivid fascination in the area. It held a furnace, an anvil, many ingots behind said anvil, racks of weapons, and a large casket of water, presumably for cooling weapons.
The blacksmith was a large, blue female troll with bulging muscle running along her arms like steel wire. She had red hair, though unlike my mother, hers was a complete crimson red, similar to blood, though only a bit lighter than the dark liquid running through my veins. I watched as her biceps and triceps flexed themselves as she hammered away at the ingot. Her lime green eyes sparkling with intensity and focus that made me feel like I was watching the world''s most stoic man, had it not been for her small smile at her work, and her almost complete lack of clothing. She was wearing naught but a small pair of panties, working fingerless gloves, some bicep braces, and a bra with a small bikini holding her breasts in place. She had very small tusks that were almost the size of my regular teeth, and a small single gold earing at the tip of her long ear, signaling that she was once married and was now without someone.
(TBH I''m making that up on the spot, tho that''s only cause i can''t find anything against nor for it. tell me if you think the earing idea is a good one. :3)
Icontinued watching her with a burning passion. she worked with the metal like it was her child, gentle, but at the same time with a firm guiding hand in how it should be. it was fascinating to watch her make the ingot. I watched as she pushed it through the phases of heat treating and cooling, with the steam swirling around her sweaty body, before she put away the ingot and looked dead at me, her menacing eyes focused solely on me, her charming smile no longer visible. I felt like a deer caught in the headlights of a car, completely frozen for a moment. "Well? What ya want? I be workin." her voice sounded beautiful to me for some reason, like it held a melody in it, though part of me knew that there was none. However, it did break me out of my stupor and I looked towards her before speaking. "I be likin da sound of bangin when ya work. It be soundin nice to ''eer." She looked a little surprised at first, but then a gradual dawning came across her face as she realized something.
"I be knowin what ya feel. I felt it long ago when my fadda taught me da ways. I always loved dat sound, of medal hittin medal. I fell asleep many times to dat sound." I could hear the nostalgia in her voice as she spoke of her early beginnings, and how she began to love the sound. I felt happy that at least one other person felt that way, and I wanted to speak more, but as the shadows grew longer, I finally realized how much time had passed, and in a hurry, I said that I had to go, before fleeing like a madman towards my home, in hopes that I wouldn''t miss out on soup.OH, I SWEAR TO GOD IF I DO...I didn''t finish that thought, mostly because I didn''t know what I would do if i missed out on it.
I got home, and after a good long scolding from my mother on how I shouldn''t have been late, and a great many apologies, I was finally allowed privilege to the tasty heaven that was the soup. I swear, i must have had stars in my eyes when i heard my mother say that it was allowed, as she froze before giggling and hugging me tightly. I was a little surprised, but I soon fell to the love and I hugged her back, equally tight. It was a special little moment between the two of us until my mother eventually had to let go and we went to the dinner table.
I was on the verge of banging my silverware together and chanting "SOUP! SOUP! SOUP!". though thankfully, I didn''t as my mother would have taken it away at that point. but make no mistake, I was still ready for this. when my mother came back to the table with two piping hot bowls filled to the brim with different veggies and assorted meats, she began giggling as my eyes were glued to my bowl.Honestly mom, why are you so weird at times?I thought to myself as I heard her. I closed my eyes as I sent out a quiet prayer, thanking whoever sent me here for this wonderful time that I was having, and to whoever was listening in this world, asking that they help this time stay.
I woke up the next morning, filled with excitement down to my very bones, and penetrating towards the deepest part of my core. I practically jumped out of my bed, though much to my regret as the soreness from working out the night before, hit me like a hammer. I quickly calmed myself down and began doing the stretches that I knew so well. it took me a while before I was feeling like I could actually move again, and I walked down the hall into the dining room once more. I looked around and noticed that my parents were still in their room sleeping, so I simply snuck out, making my way through the little village, and on my way to the blacksmith once more, as I heard the clangs ring through the air. I ran even faster, in an attempt to somehow get their even faster, even though I was already running at my top speed. I soon enough came across the scantily clad blacksmith once more, only to discover her making something different than a simple ingot like she was last time. this time, she was making a sword, and a great sword it was.
Two feet long of thick black steel, with engravings running along the flat of the blade, roaring out different war shouts in zandalari. its tip was hooked around in a strange fashion that made it useful for pulling and cutting, but still quite useable as a blade. I wanted to see someone use the weapon just so I could tell if it was actually wieldable by someone and if the hook towards the end was of any use. I watched in rapt fascination as she continued with her art piece, and as she continued with her work. I watched as she stuck the blade into the coolant and pulled it out, before moving the blade to a chair that held a large stone wheel on top of it. I recognized it from my past life as a grinding wheel and I listened closely as the sound of metal and stone was ground away in the background of my daydreaming. though it did come to an end, at which point she simply inserted the blade in some oil for a small while before turning her attention to me as if knowing I had been there the whole time. I managed to let out a shaky smile after remembering our last encounter, and how I ran away without even so much as a goodbye or my name.
She was still looking at me, though she held a small pout on her face, as if sad that I had not been paying attention for a moment to her and was staring off into space. though it turned into a small giggle as I rubbed the back of my head sheepishly. "I been wonderin'' when you were gonna return." just like last time, her voice held a smooth flow to it, almost like caramel and it simply rolled over me. I simply smiled and said "Sorry, I ad'' to be gettin home. It been gettin late den."
She simply nodded at my words and took them quite seriously, as if agreein with my mother even though she had most likely never met her. "I see. Good Idea. Now den, are ya gonna watch only? or join?" she said with a teasing smile and it abruptly hit me that I had been watching her for a good while now and didn''t even know her name. I immediately popped my head up and straightened my back a little while saying "I be Vai, what is your name bein?" She giggled at my little introduction,Why does every female I talk to giggle like a madman whenever I talk?I thought with a small frown before she introduced herself. " I be Shi''Mer. I be hopin ya pay attention." and as soon as she finished her sentence, she turned back around and went back to working on the sword, using a whetstone and sharpening its edges to razor-sharp.
I made my way over the tall counter and climbed into the forging area to get a better look at what she was doing, as it was a little more difficult from behind the counter. she was simply taking the whetstone, dipping it in a little water, then moving across the blade''s edge and pulling up a little. the action kept rubbing off bits and pieces of the stone on the blade while continuously drawing water on it. I knew what it looked like from videos on how to do it, but somehow, it was different in person, it was almost better to see it. I continued watching until she finally ran out of stone to use and set the blade back into the oil.
"Ya be seein how to sharpen a blade, but do ya know how to make one? I tink not." she looked at the forge while saying that and simply pulled an ingot out from behind her. she tossed the ingot into the furnace and we simply waited for a few minutes as it heated up to a good red hot color, before she grabbed some tongs and pulled it out. I watched as she set it down on the anvil, before grabbing a small stool, along with a small hammer, and told me, "Just try, ya might be likin it."
She had a small smirk on her face as she said that, eagerly pushing me on to try it out. and just as usual for myself, I did. I wanted to try it out very badly, it was calling to me, telling me to mold it to something better than it was now, to be better than anything else like it. and I responded to the call. I walked onto the small stool and I looked down upon it, and i noticed something. The ingot seems to pulse outwards, attempting to attract all of life''s attention towards it. To its beauty, to its heat, to its majesty. I end up next to it, hammer in hand. Watching it like a peasant would watch a queen or king. Without realizing it I already had reached out for the ingot. and i got burnt for trying to touch something better than me.
I immediately fell backward, crying out in pain, "AHHHH!!!" screaming as the ingot stayed attached to my hand and continued burning through my hand. I wanted to grab the ingot, to pull it from my hand, but I knew that it would only sear into my other hand as well, so I turned to my last option. Shi''Mer. I turned my head away from the would that continued to throb, and as tears streaked down my face and I looked up to her, only to notice her staring directly at me. with a face of complete and utter indifference besides a small glimmer of a challenge, the same as the one she called out at me earlier. I almost forgot about the pain at that moment, I almost forgot about the wound, but such things are not so easily passed off, as a new wave of pain ran over me. I could feel myself sweating from it and I could do naught but continue to scream from the pain, the anger, and the small hint of betrayal. I continued thrashing around, before finally, I felt myself disappear, and fade once more.
The Journey Towards Power

WARNING. LEMON SCENE. THATS BASICALLY IT FOR THIS CHAP. BUT IT WILL EXPLAIN A FEW THINGS IF YOU ARE ABLE TO GET THROUGH THE STORY.
*Vai POV*
I saw the lights flashing on my eyelids and I briefly opened them, much to my regret, for as soon as I did, blinding rays of light entered my unprepared eyes and temporarily blinded me, leaving me grunting in frustration for a bit and resolving myself to roll around to try to make the light leave.
"Finally awake? Good, I been wonderin if ya was dead." I froze as I heard the words, before promptly leaping up and trying to identify the threat that had snuck up on me, only to land on my hand in a three-point stance, at which I collapsed as a wave of pain flew through me and I remembered what happened. at which point, I looked around me and noticed that I was back in my bed. I looked around and noticed that I was now flat on the floor in front of Shi''Mer. she just smirked as I felt my face flush with embarrassment and I quickly got up to try to dignify myself. and though it did hurt, I managed to push myself off the ground and got up to greet the woman who, for the first time since I had met her, was wearing something other than a thong and bra. not that her clothing was much better.
she was wearing not more than a black crop top with some black short shorts, though they did little to hide her thong which somehow managed to keep up above them. she still kept on the gloves along with the bicep brace. I looked up at her before asking, "How long was I asleep?" I was worried that somehow I had slept for years on end, though she simply answered, "Just a few hours." she seemed to know exactly what I was thinking about, and she managed to put my worries to rest. "Why?" I couldnt help but ask. I had seen her simply watching me as I writhed around in pain and for some reason had been almost happy with the fact that I was going through it.
She dropped her smirk at the question before answering seriously, "I be testin ya, ta see if ya be wordy." I was confused by her answer because as far as I knew, I wasn''t about to fulfill some ancient prophecy. though I must have shown it on my face as she quickly added, "Testin ta see if ya wordy to be a warria." I couldnt help but wonder at that moment, as I tried to recover from the pain, whether or not I had passed. at that moment, nothing but passing mattered, though i don''t know why. It just took precedence over all else. Shi''Mer simply burst out into laughter at my face, and said, "Ya made it, no warries" she held a small smile on her face as she said that and all the tension in my body seemed to flow away from me. I simply smiled and got up before looking towards her. I was happy that I had passed the test but part of me couldnt help but wonder what was next, so I simply made my questions known. "wat now? I cant be usin my hand any time soon." I asked with a small hint of excitement at the prospect of getting stronger, but at the same time.
I felt sad that my way as a warrior would be put on hold for a while so I could have my hand heal. while trolls have quick regeneration, it does take a while. however, there have been feats of insane regeneration by trolls, though they were almost all blessed by different loa. and as far as I knew, I wasn''t so lucky this early in life. the wound, should take about maybe a week to fully close and be good as new, though maybe it will take a few days. it''s unpredictable.
"Ave'' ya checked it yet? Or do ya tink dat it will be burnt foeva?" I couldnt help but feel confused at her words but as I looked down at my bandaged hand, I decided to take her advice on it. and to my utter disbelief, my had was almost fully healed by now. with only the top layer of the skin still regenerating. though I could slightly make out the small pieces of skin coming together. "Ya will be me, apprentice. I will train ya, and make a fine warria out of ya. Now den lets go. We ave'' work ta do." I watched as she walked out the door to my room before I decided to follow her.Whether she is an angel or a devil, I shall follow her. for she is my guiding light in this world of strong and weak.I thought as I resolved myself to follow what she tells me to become stronger.
(Year 14)
its been almost ten years since I was taken on by Shi''Mer as her apprentice and while I have gotten stronger, and I am glad I took it on, that is because I am now better for it. I always regretted going with her in the beginning. I was angry at myself day in and day out at the fact that I had decided to follow her. But i stayed. Some part of me kept telling me to stay. to not leave. that if I left, then I would miss out on something big. and even to this day, as she had no more to teach me, I still felt that same urge. the urge that tells me where strength shall be shown. the urge that tells me where to get stronger. But, as time passed, I felt that urge begin to fade as her teaching became known to me and her wisdom on the many things that I needed, dried out like a well. I had become knowledgeable to equally stand against her in both fighting and blacksmithing. eye to eye, fist for fist, and blow for blow. I was her equal in all ways, except for age. I only had one more test, to pass my training. And I would be a warrior.
Knowledge and strength. they had become my two pursuits after her teachings. for they taught me what I needed to know, and they gave me the power to hold onto what I know. I knew that I would have a time come when I would need to defend my home. to defend my family, and to defend my honor. and while my people do not know about this, I can feel it in the air. war comes, and war conquers. it matters not to whom it does conquer. it simply does. My well of knowledge about the timeline of the world that I live in also helps. I mapped out all that I knew and from what I can tell, I was born about 1500 years before the first war, and 1500 years before the construction of the dark portal. there is much to do in my time, and I shall be the one who is known as one of the greats. one of those who stood toe to toe with the most powerful. I shall become legend. I shall become invincible, and I shall become all there is at the top. For there shall be no gods, But I.
I opened my eyes and I returned to the reality that I was in once more. the reality of where I was. While strong in my village, there is little here, and always shall be little here. i came upon many different books on the world that I live in and it has done naught but give me information that I had already guessed after my frequent trips around the village and island. My village is off the coast of the cape of the strangle throne vale. It is a decent-sized island with a village around the size of the dark spear one. First, there is a wall around the entire island. Tall with spikes protruding out of it. It is made of what I assume is stone but with dried mud surrounding and binding the wall. The spikes are made out of wood but that doesn''t mean they aren''t deadly. There are two entrances and exits in the village. One to the north and one to the south, each is guarded by four guards. Two towers line the walls for each entrance/exit. With two trolls on the ground and one troll in each tower, it makes for a decent defense.
Second. I found out the reasoning for my rapid regeneration. I had, unfortunately (Or fortunately) attracted the attention of a Loa. though I don''t know how I did so. normally loa choose someone who makes multiple sacrifices or offerings to them frequently, someone who prays to them, or someone who shows the loa how strong they are. So how one of them became attracted to me is a question that I would love to have answered. However, which one I attracted, it seemed to like me a lot. I had tried many times to figure out what exactly had gotten their attention, to no avail. so I forced myself to stop trying, and focus on learning. however, with the island becoming too small for me, and the world outside it much larger, I found myself wondering how I could leave, again, and again. I felt myself wanting to get to the next area, but part of me told me to stay, as something would happen. So for the time being, I''ve managed to hold against the pull and have stayed, biding my time, but just as any dam, I cannot stay forever. I''ve yet to find out which loa is watching me, though I have the gut instinct that they will reveal themselves sooner or later.
On top of training me with fighting and with blacksmithing, she also taught me a variety of skills, ranging from how to gather different herbs, and how to mix them to get potent poisons, to how to resist torture, both physical and mental. she showed me which herbs cause what effects, such as paralysis, sleep inducement, or just death. she then showed me which ones to mix to achieve the maximum effect before she used them on a variety of different beings. for the most part, she used murlocs however. they were similar in organ structure to that of other sentients and held many of the same weaknesses. I can say, that without a doubt, because of her, I know more about Murloc anatomy than I know about basic skills like cooking.
For the torture, she first taught me about the body of most sentients, seeing as though torture is mostly used for information gathering. there weren''t many different corpses around, so she simply drew them up. she showed me a great many different drawings of them, some not even on the eastern kingdoms. she had seen ancient pictures made of great beasts that walked on two legs, and that if they walked on all fours, could pass for a cow. I knew she was talking about taurens, but I didn''t care about them. she then taught me how exactly toResistTorture. she did this by flaying me. along with a few other ways that I would prefer not to think about. She showed me multiple different rituals as well, for when it comes time to make a sacrifice to the loa. And while I might not be as religion crazy as most trolls, I know that there are gods that canAnd Willcurse me if I don''t make the right ones. So I have more than enough reason to listen to her on those.
Onto mental torture, she liked to use different hallucinogenic drugs on me and would then inflict physical torture as well for the cherry on top. she could make scarves look like snakes, corpses look like a family, and women look like hags. it was the closest one to breaking me of all the skills she taught me. the closest to making me speak of who and what I used to be. the closest to seeing me for what I once was. She also helped me overcome my mental barriers that held me back during the fighting, though she did that by drilling it into me.
I still don''t know exactly how she managed to gather all of this information on different skills, and while some part of me wants to know, I simply assume that it was put in place by the people who wanted her running the test. and I simply accepted that.
Training under Shi''Mer was easily one of the most horrifying things that I had to go through, and I feel like it would almost always remain at my number one spot. Though I can easily say that it was worth it. The pain helped define me, the work helped built me, and the willpower to go through with it cut away the innocence from my mind. If I could go choose whether or not to go through with it again I would be pretty damn conflicted as to whether or not I would go through it. On one hand, It hurt like hell and it was simple torture, on the other hand, it has helped build up my strength and knowledge about this world which will inevitably help me with becoming stronger. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. I''ve grown to say the least. I''m taller than a human would be by a little bit, standing straight at the height of seven foot one. I have gotten a lot more muscle compared to back when I was younger. I got an eight pack, softball-sized biceps, and legs that could knock a head off their shoulders with a kick. To say that I''m muscular is an understatement. My hair has grown out more, along with my tusks which now are about half a foot long. I became tall and lanky, built like a large cat. My muscles were unlike that of a professional bodybuilder but rather a body belonging to a world star athlete. Long, lean and like metal cords. My hair looked like it would belong on a spinosaurus rather than as a hairstyle as it shone silver in the light.
I have three markings upon my face to show my advancement towards that of a warrior. I have three black marks upon each cheek like that of a claw mark and one running down my throat, along with the final diamond-shaped marking upon my forehead.
I finished thinking about the past elevenyears of my life under that woman, and I couldnt help but feel proud of myself at what I had to go through, and how I came out from it, still sane, and still able. though it didn''t last long as a shoe came and *WHACK* me in the head. "Ya tink ya is done? Not yet." I couldnt help but sigh at my teacher''s antics once more. But, I knew that this would be the final lesson. the final mission, and then I would finally be able to leave.
I walked into the small house once more, just as I had done for years before now, but this time it was different. it felt like the walls surrounding me were sad to see me go, were sad to no longer be filled by others. I ignored the feeling that they were giving me and I simply walked through. reminiscing over the time that I once had here. I almost smiled. but I finally felt myself be able to pull away, and I followed my teacher''s tracks into the house and headed into the one area that I had never been in. I walked into the room and immediately I started to take in the surroundings, looking towards the walls, finding windows and trying to see what was going to happen. but my eyes froze as I was looking around, at the body of my teacher. she was lying down in her bed, stark naked and smirking at me.
I could see her body top to bottom from where I stood, though I already knew the vast majority, there were a few outliers. her toned stomach and her beautiful muscles were there as always, though the large bouncing breasts along with her darker nipples just begging to be flicked, licked, sucked on, and pulled were new. her body was slender but condensed. I could tell that behind that small appearance, was a being who could kill you in a fraction of a second. and to be honest, it kinda turned me on. she wore a smirk as she shamelessly showed off every square inch of her body to me, trying to get a rise out of me. I could see the beginnings of the abs that she had always wanted, and I could see which muscles were more defined than others, but they were overshadowed by one simple fact. she shaves her snatch. I don''t know why, but I found that little fact to be more interesting than almost her whole body put together. How does she even do it? does she just grab a knife?I thought to myself, but I digress.
She let out a happy laugh and simply said, "What? neva seen a woman before?" and before I could even really understand the question, I replied, "Neva one as beautiful as you." though I quickly realized what I had said and I could only feel my face flush as Shi''Mer simply looked stunned before bursting out into laughter. though soon enough she simply relented with her laughter till it was but a pleasant humming noise she made while looking at me. "Vai." She said my name, however, with such seriousness, i couldnt help but straighten up a bit as I looked her dead in the eye. "Dis is ya last test. It be simple. Beat me." She said it with a cold gleam in her eye, but it was only surface level. I could see beyond that by now, and I could see that there was much underneath it, but it was hard to differentiate because of the heat. I could see the passion in her eyes, the absolute love in them, and I realized exactly what she meant by it now. For some time now, she hadn''t been seeing me as a student, but rather someone to love. and the pieces all started to come together.
when she trained me, it hurt but she was always there, never pushing me too far to truly hurt me. when she did, she always had something lying around that could help me get back. I could always see the slight unease in her eyes as she worked with me, and as she trained me. She had always been looking after me, and she had always seemed to love me. I couldnt help but shift a grin to my face as I realized something.I suppose since she has always looked out for me, I have to show it back.At this point, I was grinning like a mad man with a manic glint in my eye as I looked Shi''Mer up and down.
As soon as she saw that, she began to frown and her eyebrows scrunched together, though she still said nothing. I simply let down my grin and put on a smile, before I began to take off my clothing. I immediately unbuttoned my shirt and pants before letting them drop off of me. I smirked as I watched my Shi''Mer simply freeze when she saw the anaconda that I was packing. She didn''t scream, she didn''t shout, she simply froze in time and space. I started to walk towards her as she kept her eyes on me the whole time, letting her jaw hang as she looked at it as if she was finally realizing that it wasn''t a figment of her imagination. I simply let my smile grow as I grabbed her hand, and pulled her up to me. "Ya done blankin out? or am I gonna be da one doin da work today." I mocked her slightly, causing her face to go red a moment before she managed to snap completely back in. "I... I just be shocked." I laughed at her embarrassment, though I understood it somewhat. I pulled her away from the bed and completely into me, hugging her while I stroked her hair, careful not to pull at any knots, and trying to not poke her eye out with my tusks. "Dis is my test. but you be my specimen. and I always be careful wit my specimens." She hid her face in my chest, but from her ears, I could tell that she was blushing heavily.
I simply let out a deep chuckle as I let go of her before I stooped a little lower to give her a sweet kiss on the lips. her mouth froze for a moment, most likely not expecting me to go at this so quickly, but they soon regained their life and they began to wage war with my own. now naturally, I think of myself as an equal to her, so I couldnt help but give it my all as we stood there, basking in the presence of each other and tasting each other. I could only continue as she gently moved her hand across my face and held onto me. needless to say, it was a huge turn on, and she soon realized that as my member brushed up on her thigh. she took one of her hands from my face and slowly traced it down my back, moving towards my prick and slowly but surely, she started giving him some love too. though I soon got my fill of this and I broke the kiss away, letting the saliva drip between us and form a small bridge, till I rose to my full height. I easily dwarfing her with my presence alone. I held my fingers across her cheeks as she gently nuzzled against them before I swiftly wrapped my hands around her and brought her cherry to my lips. I dug my tongue in deep into her and wriggled it a little to get a bit of room to work with.
It took only a second but I quickly got to sucking a bit at her clit. just a little, however, before I backed off. I then sat down on her bed, and I placed her on my legs, right in front of my prick. her face held a bit of heat from it, but she looked quite stable mentally. she held naught but a kind smile on her face and her eyes were just slightly crinkled. and as I looked at her, the sunshine seemed to be directed onto her from god up above. I felt myself freeze if only to just watch for a moment longer. though it was a moment that she noticed as she asked, "Ya ok?" to which I responded, "Breathtakin" She backed up a bit as we both blushed at the same time before I got back to her. I took my hands and simply fondled her breasts. I didn''t go for the nipple immediately, but I simply felt around on them a little, cupping them in my hand, or simply pulling my finger along around them. I enjoyed the feeling that they held, though she seemed to be enjoying it as well as a small moan escaped her mouth.
I however stopped and moved onto her neck, a sweet and supple thing it was. I gave it a small nibble, to try it out, before I began to trace my tongue from her ears, to down her back where her shoulder and neck met. I then quickly gave a small blow of air onto the area and simply watched as she shivered from it. though when I looked at her, she was pouting a little. Most likely because she wanted me to do the test instead of simple foreplay, though I held out for a little longer as the more I did it, the redder she became. I simply kissed her a few more times, before I decided that it would be a good time to start. I placed my hand on her stomach and simply rubbed while looking her in the eye. her eyes were a little hazy, but clarity soon came back to them as she understood my intent. after a few moments, she nodded her head. I grinned and kissed her again while I lied down on my back, pulling her down with me. though she soon broke off and began to man my member. she stood high above before she lowered herself onto me. slowly but surely pushing downwards.
I was impressed, but I soon noticed the blood that began to flow down, and I quickly tried to stop her as small twitches showed on her face, signifying the pain that it was to have my dick inside her. though she stopped my attempts to stop her with a firm hand in place before she resumed her arduous task. While I do admit that it felt great, I couldnt truly love it as I watched her in pain simply so I could be pleasured. it was a mental vs physical battle of my own body. She eventually reached three fourths down, but by that point, my dick was poking the entrance to her womb. and while it sounds like a good idea to go past it for guys, I know how bad it can hurt most women. Shi''Mer looked like she had just gone through giving birth, with her forehead wrapped in sweat, but part of me knew, I would never see her anywhere nearly as beautiful as I do now. I waited a few minutes before I started to move. just gentle movements, up and down. slowly but surely. and as time passed, she stopped grimacing at the feeling and a small smile bloomed on her face. it was at this point that I decided that the rust was too far built and I would need to get rid of it. so with a small evil smile, I quickly sat up and got on top.
With her back on the bed and me on top, she could only bite her bottom lip. and so it began. I quickly started to push harder than I had before. moving her insides as I went about it. she even started making cute little moans as I rummaged through her. I slowly inched my way towards climax as I continued inside her. slowly but surely, I felt myself. but I also kept an eye on Shi''Mer, as she was my primary concern for the evening. I was moving as fast as I could without accidentally hurting her. And she was loving it, the harder I moved, the harder she reacted. the deeper I went, the louder the moans that escaped from her mouth. it was a give and take time, and I would give my all to her. However, I soon began to feel that my limit was being reached and as I slowed down, I pushed farther. If I was poking her entrance, at this point I was almost halfway through with the tip. and as soon as I reached the sweet spot, I unleashed hell. Shi''Mer froze up. her face a painting lost in ecstasy as I came inside her. I couldnt help but smile as I slowly pulled myself out of her, and with each inch, she let out small gasps. and as my member came out with a *POP*, so did the river of cum.
"Ready for da second test?" I asked her with a smile and I could only laugh at her attempt to speak, as all that came out was a small groan that somewhat sounded like yes. And so went the rest of our night, spent in the bedroom, trying, again and again, to give birth to an heir that would eventually bear my long and dark heritage.
The toll to pay
I woke up the next morning to a rather strange sight normally. I woke up with a blaring headache, an arm wrapped around my chest, and my teacher next to me. I almost believed that it was all a dream for a moment, but the moment I live in now simply goes against it. I tried to pry her arms off of me, but she was holding on as a koala holds onto its mother. so i simply stayed there, trying to keep myself warm in her arms as I continued to daydream of a better time, a time where I would rule, and I could watch as my children played.
It took about three hours before she felt the need to awaken, and even that she managed to do in her own manner. I felt her arm begin to squeeze less on me, and I immediately tried to pry her off. Luckily, I had managed to put just enough force into it so that her grip came off, unfortunately, it completely woke her up.
She sat up almost immediately, though it seemed that she regretted it as she bent over almost immediately while letting out a small groan. as I watched, I couldn''t help but laugh loudly at it, though she immediately glared at me for it. "Ya be hurtin? dats what ya be gettin for choosin a bad test. at least ya be gettin a child" I chuckled as her glare only seemed to intensify at that moment, before softening a little. "hopefully," I heard her whisper to herself. I smiled to myself at her words and was ready to go back to daydreaming. though I knew that I couldnt as work was to be done. And so, without a word, I got out of bed, walked over to Shi''Mer, and picked her up bridal style. and with that, I walked out of the bedroom and into the dining room before I gently sat her down and walked into the kitchen. "I be makin dinna, if ya be carryin me child, ya no be workin." I said in a firm voice devoid of any room for argument, though she seemed to want to say something, I cut her off, "an not a word out of ya." I kept a firm expression on, but a soft gleam in my eye.
I soon finished the food, and as we began to eat together, I kept playing over in my head what was going to happen. I knew the future, though I couldnt do as much as I wanted without getting stronger. I want to protect those I love. I want to make sure that none shall take my personal empire.NO ONE.I, however, must have been showing an angry face because soon Shi''Mer looked at me with a worried face. "Ya good mon?" I could feel myself being brung back by her voice, back to the present. "I be fine, Just tinkin." I couldnt help but smile as she backed off, if only for a moment.
We decided to simply spend the rest of the night with each other. a night not of pleasure, but of fulfillment and happiness. I could only be happy in her arms.
(Next morning)
I had already gotten ready, as anyone would. the familiar urge to stay had left me, the feeling of growing stronger gone. I felt nothing for this place but nostalgia and love. but those alone would not keep me here. However, I would never forget my humble beginnings. I sighed as my mind began to let go of the home I would always know. but first. There is one last thing to do. Any great warrior has always had talent, and they always have had training. but it was all useless without weapons nor armor. and I was in desperate need of the former. I already had a good idea on what type of weapon that I wanted to use, I just needed the materials to make it.
I just needed some coal, iron, leather, and good wood. the first three were already at Shi''Mer''s house, but the wood needed to be good and strong. a very specific type was needed. I needed ironwood. Ironwood was a type of tree that could block a full attack from most human warriors. Very thick, very dense, and very rare. it''s one of the only reasons why most trolls don''t simply make their armor out of it. However, I needed naught but a simple fire to gather it, as most axes would shatter on the very first swing at the tree. and so, I gathered up a torch, lit it on fire, and I walked out of the village, heading towards the woods where Ironwood grew strong and tall.
As I walked into the lush jungle, I couldnt help but breathe in a deep scent of the trees and life around me. I still am amazed by the life that lives next to us even to this day. it never gets old, the endless shades of green that surround us and the grey or black spots that are sporadically placed here or there. I could get lost in the maze of green my entire life, and I would never want to leave.
I sighed as I continued my search for the tree, and once I came across it, I almost jumped in excitement. The branches were exactly what I needed. long, no thicker than my wrist, and good and straight. the perfect type. I quickly got to work on finding the correct branch to use as not just anyone will do. and once I had one chosen I took my lit torch and burned away at the base of the branch. I watched as the fire swiftly ate through it, and as the branch was almost immediately loosened. While Ironwood trees are extremely resistant to most blunt force, they are extremely vulnerable to most other forces. such as magic, or fire. hence the torch.
Once the branch was sufficiently loosened I simply gripped it and pulled. It broke away with a mighty *SNAP* and I was soon left with it in my hand. I then began the trek back to the village, but as I was about to leave, I felt a tug. Something pulling at me. Something calling for me. I just knew it was there.ITWas waiting.ITwanted me to come.HEWas biding his time. My eyes widened with fear as I immediately bounded out of the jungle and back into the village and made my way back to the blacksmith. as I ran, I couldnt help but think,Why him? Out of all of them why him?I almost jumped into the house as soon as I saw it, but I forced myself to stay outside. I got to the forge and began to force myself to breathe. I was panting, my blood was pumping, and my adrenaline levels were constantly on the rise. I could feel him. he wanted me. and a small part of me couldnt help but know, I would come. Sooner or later, my fate was destined.
I found myself staring into empty space, and I shook myself, snapping myself out of it. trying to keep myself focused on the task at hand. I still, however, found myself shaking slightly. the thought of dealing with him was terrifying. Why does it have to be me?A small part of me thought, angry at the fact that I would go whether I liked it or not.Why not someone else. What''s so special about me that he needs me?I continued thinking to myself as I absent-mindedly went through the actions of lighting up the forge. I felt myself burning at the question, trying to figure it out.He wants me, he needs me. What for though? there are others that are much more powerful, much more useful. so why does he want me?I couldnt help myself. I hate not being able to understand the reasoning behind actions in life. if someone wants to give me money, then I want to know why. if someone wanted to marry me, what was so special about me? I couldnt help but want to know. it was a curiosity that burned from within.
I, however, was broken from my thoughts at the sound of crumbling logs. I turned back to the fire that I had started, only to notice Shi''Mer standing in front of it, slowly placing logs into the fire. after she had put a few more logs in, she turned to me, her eyes burning with anger. I couldnt help but be confused by her gaze, what had I done? she immediately went on a rant as the thought past through my head, "What ya be doin wrong? What do ya tink!? ya no be tellin me what be wrong, nor do ya even try to let me help. I no be helpless, dough ya tink I am. WHAT BE WRONG WIT YA!?" I could feel that while she was angry, she was concerned as well. she was upset that I thought that she couldnt help me, that she was useless. but she still wanted to know what I was dealing with. she wanted to help, and even if she couldnt help, she wanted to be around to comfort me.
I was a little shocked for a moment, though it swiftly left me and in its place came the love and comfort that I always held around her. I smiled a bit, to which she started shouting again, "What be so funny?" I couldnt help myself, I burst out into laughter, and while she looked angry, she managed to wait til I said something. "If ya be so sad dat I''m not around too much, just be sayin so." I cracked a smile. though she turned red, she still kept up an angry face, trying to put up a strong front that what I had said was not in fact the reason. I could only giggle and grin at her attempts. I quickly stood up and walked up to her before hugging her. she immediately started struggling until I started whispering in her ear, "It be ok, I love ya."
The longer I held onto her, the weaker her struggles became, as if she was slowly letting the anger out, till all that was left was the simple love and concern she held for me, and she soon enough returned the hug. I quickly broke the hug after a few minutes or so, before I gave Shi''Mer a kiss and returned to the fire, my worries now gone. I watched for hours as the fire continued to smelt away the impurities in the iron, leaving it very pure, and liquid. quickly dropped in some coal pieces to add Carbon to it and waited once more. Once it had all melted together, I quickly poured it into a cast for an ingot. As I waited for the metal to cool, I could only think of what would happen should I follow the tug. I could feel it, even now. and I was worried. What would happen, how would I be greeted? all questions running through my head. but there was one that I almost dared not ask myself. How will I tell her?
The thought of having to leave Shi''Mer was an awful one, especially after we had made plans to have a child. I almost didn''t want to think about it. But a part of me couldnt help but think about it. How would she react, how would she deal with it? It hurt me just to think about, so I did the only thing I could and I worked. I constantly kept the fire going, ready for the time to come, to forge the ingots. and so my cycle continued, constantly making ingots till in the end, I held before me, twelve steel ingots, ready to be made into my blades, and enchanted. I held them I planed out my blades. two twin swords both about two and a half feet long, with a small ripple above the hilt made into a spike, and a curved edge
I then began the true forging. I heated up the ingots in the furnace, and once properly heated, I brought it out. as I lay down the ingot on the table, I looked down upon it, before laying out my emotions to bare. I stared at the ingot with the anger that I had felt when I wanted to give up, the anger I felt when I was chosen. the fear of what would happen, and the depression that I felt upon coming across the question regarding Shi''Mer. I stared and started. I brought the hammer high, and then down with a ferocious swing. *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
Time and time again, I felt myself go through the process of rage, before quelling it and infusing it into my blades. I wanted to change what would happen. I wanted to make things go my way. but a part of me knew that it would never be by becoming a hero and joining a band of adventurers. it wouldn''t be by becoming someone''s prince charming. I would need to find my own path. Regardless of what others think, Regardless of what stands in my way. I will reach the end. in my own fashion. whether or not I make it in the end, it all depends on how I will ride the waves being sent my way. I kept hitting. again and again. and I watched as the fires grew red hot, like my desires. The ever-burning red remaining in my eyes, long after the fires went out.
(Next morning) I woke once more to find myself alone, though that was natural. even with how tough Shi''Mer is, even she wouldn''t put up with sleeping next to the forge. I snickered to myself at the thought of it, her waking up complaining at her horrible back issues. I couldnt help myself. it was just too funny to think about. I soon, however, got out of my small-time predicament and I walked back to the anvil where I had left my swords. at the moment that were but long pieces of metal, still in need of sharpening and polishing, but part of me knew, that sooner or later, they would be looked upon as the warrior''s ultimate dream to possess. I however, decided on what to next. I sighed to myself before I slowly walked into Shi''Mer''s bedroom. ready to be almost attacked on sight.
(Two hours later)
I walked out of her bedroom, both sad, but hopeful. I almost wanted to run back into the room, and stay there forever. just to be with her, and her alone. to be with the comfort of my life for as long as I could. But I knew, I could never do that. I could never hold myself like that. I could never force her to waste her life only looking after me. I could only keep walking. I could only keep moving forward, so that''s exactly what I did. I moved to the anvil, where I grabbed my blades and began the final process of making them. I took my time with them, as a rush job would simply make them worse. Grinding away at them, like water over the earth. eating away, eroding its defenses. and soon enough, I was left with naught but two beautiful blades, seemingly made out of silver itself. I could only smile at my masterpiece, happy with both myself and how it turned out, but I couldnt keep the melancholy that I felt from being given permission to make it. nor could I help the memory of the promise that I made, cross my mind. I shook myself free before I began to go over my plans.
I first needed a way to get across the ocean. my first thought was swimming it, with my physique, it wouldn''t be too much of a problem to do that. Unfortunately, I''m unused to fighting underwater if I get attacked by sharks or naga. so swimming was out, and so was flying as there arent any flying mounts as far as I am aware here. so a boat it is. As I settled on the idea of a boat, I remembered something I saw during my training with Shi''Mer. She was showing me different plants and animals on the beach that would either poison me or heal me, but as she spoke, my attention was dragged away to the boat. I couldnt help but notice the way it was made. normally a boat has a few things, a mast, and a bunch of wooden planks that made up the actual boat itself. this one, however, not only had no masts but it also was made mostly from the bone. there were two large tusks, one on each side, each the size of the boat itself. there was a small number of planks that made up the very bottom of the boat and a cabin on top of the boat itself. I honestly had no idea how on earth it was moving.
I remembered that as it cut through the waves, it was heading towards the northside of the island.Maybe someone lives there?I had never been towards that part of the island, as it had never held interest for me. nothing powerful lived there, nothing interesting. it was an empty area as far as I know.
Before I knew it I was already running with my blades strapped to my back, and my bag full of necessities and food as I ran there. I watched the trees and ground blend together as I weaved through the forest like a banshee.over the fallen tree and under the blue sky, I can finally fly.I thought to myself as I felt my freedom coming closer. I eventually reached the northside and what I saw surprised me. It was just a small house, but there were hundreds of boats nearby. all of the boats seemed to belong to the one person that was currently bringing a boat in. I started to walk to him as he noticed me but kept on moving the boat towards me. I was waiting on the shore as he brought the boat in before he began pulling it in. He seemed to be an older troll, maybe about fiftyish, which, considering how violent troll lives are, is pretty damn old. He had a deep purple skin color, red hair and curving tusks similar to mine, though a bit shorter. he was a little shorter than I was but make no mistake, all trolls can be pretty deceiving with how they look. I had no intention of getting myself killed if I underestimated him.
"Ey'' mon, How ya be doin?" I immediately asked once he had finished tying his boat to the shore, though his response was less than friendly, "Whachu want?" His voice was a good deal deeper than mine, only adding to my theory of his age. and trolls that live to grow old are almost always strong. He held a harsh tone in his voice as if any pleasant conversation was useless and I should get to the point. An attitude I can respect.I thought to myself. "I be needin a boat. Can I be usin one?" I asked him, trying not to annoy him. though my efforts seemed to be useless as he simply replied, "No." while he kept looking over his boat, looking for any problems. I narrowed my eyes at his immediate response before I realized the problem. "What you be wantin for it?" My assumption seemed to be correct as he took his eyes off his boat and finally turned around to look at me once more. "I be needin food, and a lot." I was a little surprised as I was honestly expecting him to ask for gold, but I quickly remembered that trolls... they have too MUCH gold. "What type ya be needin? deres a lot of meat." I asked, trying to have him be more specific. "Boar and lynx. I be likin my meat tough."
I thought about where exactly I could find those types, and I immediately thought of the northeast for pigs, and southwest for the cats. they might as well be the hives of activity for them. "Alright, and once dis is done, ya be givin me a boat?" I asked, ready to rush towards the animals with fervor, my mind burning with how quickly I could get this done. "Yah mon, Now get goin, or ya might be missin ya ride." He added in with a small dark chuckle. at the moment the words left his lips, I was off the ground, flying through the treetops to ascertain my position so I could get there quicker. I could feel the wind rushing me by, slicing away at my skin, trying to make me stop. This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work.
but it was no match for my determination as I simply pushed through it faster than it could stop me. I wanted my freedom, and I was willing to go to almost any lengths to attain it. I had soon gotten to the south, and I quickly began my hunt, as a dark gleam entered my eyes once more. I rode the winds once more as I quickly found the tracks to a group of lynx, and I quickly followed them. I found the four of them gathered together around a carcass of what looked to be a boar but I couldnt be certain as it looked too far gone. I moved through the branches, careful not to make noise, and as I stood over them, I couldnt help but feel an itch. an itch that burnt, an itch that froze, an itch that moved. I dropped from the branches directly over the lynx, driving my swords into its skull, killing it immediately while its comrades jumped back from the shock before jumping towards me in anger.
The first misjudged the distance and went over my as I slid my blade across its belly, immediately gutting the beast as it fell into a lump. the second managed to land its shot as I was gutting its friend, resulting in a large cut along my arm. I hissed at the pain while I brought my blades back over, slicing off the back skin of the beast, but ultimately failing to kill it while the final one, came and landed on my back. It immediately started to bite and claw at me while I tried to get it off of me. I managed to toss the creature off, but not before it had managed to claw my back up. I watched as it flew through the air towards its brother who was lying on the ground trying and failing to get up. I flew towards them as they crashed together. I made my own jump towards them as they struggled to get off each other, before eying me. though it was too late for them as by the time they did so, I was on top of them, murder in my eyes, and blood on my blades. and without a second thought to it, so ended their lives, while I stood there, letting my wounds heal, and struggling to keep the itch under control.
(next day)
I had spent the whole night hunting, trapping, and killing. by morning I was a bloody mess, with mud, leaves, and branches covering the whole of my body. but I could feel the adrenaline still pumping hard. my eyes were constantly looking at my surroundings. I turned around and I couldnt help but feel pride at the small mountain of flesh that I had hunted. This should be enough for him.I thought to myself, as I quickly assembled a makeshift sled. I couldnt carry each one of them at a time, so I might as well just take it all at once. I weaved the logs and the rope together at blinding speed, weaving in and out with my nimble fingers. and soon enough, a sled roughly large enough to carry the animals was created. I quickly packed them onto the sled and I began my trek back to the north, roughly a twelve-mile drag. but I was determined, and I soon began noticing the small details. and before I knew it, the sun was at its peak and I was at the house once more. I quickly noticed that he was already outside, once more looking at his boats, trying to see if there was any damage. I simply grunted towards him, before pointing towards the mound of bodies. He looked towards the mound with a small hint of shock at my speed and efficiency, but he quickly hid it up once more before he roughly pushed me out of the way as he walked towards the mound.
I saw him grab the rope from the ground and then begin pulling it towards his house, though while it took me hours to get here and a lot of sweat, he pulled it like he was pulling a trolley. I could only confirm with the idea in my mind. ALL old trolls are there for a reason. they are very strong individually, and each could defeat a dozen fresh trolls on their own. I simply decided to wait until he was done, as he was pulling it with little effort. I simply watched as he took it to a small shack that I had failed to notice earlier, and simply slide it in.What''s in there?I couldn''t help but wonder, though thankfully I was smarter than to look towards it as I noticed him coming out. "Ya ready ta go mon?" He asked me, though I simply nodded and held onto my bag and swords a bit tighter. He just nodded, understanding my attitude to leave quickly, before he pushed the boat out onto the water.
I was about to hop into it before he stopped me, holding his hand over my chest and looking at me. I could tell just from reading his eyes that he NEEDED me out of the boat for a moment. I, naturally being confused, stepped aside, though with reluctance. I watched as he kneeled down in front of it and put his hand onto the hull of the boat before he started to mumble a few words as his hand glowed a dim purple color. I could only watch in fascination as the light seeped into the hull forming a few small purple runes along the side. He then looked towards me with a tired look in his eyes as he simply nodded. I hopped ionto the boat and walked down under the small cabin and simply sat down. I waited for the splashing of water from oars but I never heard them. I quickly looked up only to notice that the shore was much farther away than it was a few minutes ago. I looked overboard quickly to notice that while there was no sound, the boat itself was moving.
I couldnt help but be confused by what I was seeing. How does it work? Is it magic? But trolls aren''t known to wield magic yet.I was perplexed by the issue to the point that I simply gave up on it. it was just another thing that I couldnt quite understand yet. I sighed at my own lack of knowledge regarding it.Soon. Soon I will know.I thought as I hardened myself for what was to come, and as my eyes closed once more.
(Next day)
I woke as I felt the boat I was in rock against something other than waves, hitting with a dull thud. I sat up and walked out from the cabin to see that the sun was only just breaking out from the horizon and it was dawn once more. I couldnt help but feel myself getting closer to freedom itself the further I went. I hopped off the boat, grabbing my stuff as I went before I simply nodded to the old troll who nodded back, and I ran off.I will remember you. and when I see you again, I can only hope it''s on good terms.I quickly got to the jungle after a good half hour of running before I felt it. As I walked through it I felt the power in the air. Almost suffocating me with the absolute strength in it. It was an intoxicating feeling, I had the slightest feeling in the back of my mind that it could be mine. As I thought that I felt a smile of greed snuck its way upon my face. I had always wanted power, even in my past life. It''s why I played WOW frequently. It was because in wow I could be someone who DID have power, meanwhile, In the real world, I had no power. Shaking my head of these thoughts I started on into the jungle. I could feel something else other than the faint feeling of power, in the jungle. It was almost as powerful but much more chilling. It felt like I had entered the lair of a beast capable of mass destruction and by being in its general vicinity that my death would be a certain and painful one. It''s a horrifying feeling. Though I knew exactly where and who it was coming from.
I couldnt keep the smile from my face as I continued running through the jungle.Power. what is it exactly? is it armies? is it talent? is it money?I couldnt think of any proper answer as I continued running, as there were far too many different answers. But the path I take, in my heart of hearts i knew, will take me to power itself. I just need to push through all that stands in my way. I felt excited, and ready. I continued with a smile upon my face at the thought of strength. As if I had passed a barrier my mind felt free from things I have struggled with before. With this newfound freedom, I felt like I could do anything. I felt insanely good. I began to sprint once again, I was running like mad. Past the trees, leaping over the fallen trees, through the branches of long-dead trees and jumping over the ponds and puddles here and there. I kept running for about an hour before I noticed that light was starting to leave the jungle, and that night was descending. I slowed down and began to plan out what to do next. after a few moments of it, I decided,Screw it, i will just run at night!
--------------------
Golden green rays of sunshine broke through the canopy of the jungle, shining down upon a large figure, walking through the jungles of, what would be known as, the southeastern kingdoms. the figure was caked in mud, leaves, and other small branches. the figure seemed to be slouching, though telling from the tusks it seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary. the figure stopped for a moment, straightened its back and immediately began looking around.
I could have sworn I heard a sound near me. I thought to my self asI continued onto my path towards the only area that I knew: Zul''Gurub. One of the most prominent areas in all of Warcraft''s history. (at least it does in my personal opinion) I ran, and ran, and ran. Repeat. Why have I yet to be interrupted by monsters or even other trolls. I should be in that area by now.I ignored this thought and threw it to the back of my mind. I was intent on finding where this path led. Even if it took me all my life. My eyes held a devotion not present there before. A fanatical one. Before I realized it I had come across a clearing and I saw what I had been looking for. The gates, to Zul''Gurub. Tall and dotted with zandali symbols. Four towers, two on each side along with a gate that went up to twelve meters high. Guards dotted the area like trees in a forest. Everywhere. I took a long breath, took a step forward, and everything went black.
-------------
(outside Zul''Gurub)
A lone green and gold Naga stood over the body of a troll, looking down upon him with a complex look on her face. She had recently apprehended the Troll but was uncertain as to what she was going to do with him. Normally, she would bring the intruder in for interrogation, but the troll showed signs that it belonged to the gurubashi. He might be a citizen just trying to get back home.one half of her mind reasoned.Or a Ssspy trying to sssteal information from us.Another half countered. She simply shook her head and grabbed the troll before carrying him over her shoulder, down to Zul''Gurub.
-----------------------------
I was quickly roused from my slumber with a loud ringing in my ear and a burning sensation across my face. I quickly opened my eyes only to notice that I could not see. I realized that I was blindfolded and bound but it was overshadowed by the electric voice that sounded around me in the dark.
"WHO ARE YOU?"the question came from all around me. I was trying to rationalize the situation, unfortunately, my thinking seemed to anger the being as another slap hit me again."I ASSSKED YOU!! WHO ARE YOU!"the voice seemed to a woman, as the voice was far less gruff than what I was used to."Anssswer now or I will have to ssswitch to bloodier methods."the voice seemed to be less angry and calmer now but I knew it was the calm before a storm, and it was a storm that I knew it would be more beneficial if I didn''t have to go against said storm.
so with the swiftness of the wind, I replied. "I be but a humble travela, ya mind tellin me what I done to make ya kidnap me?" I said it all in a calm and rational voice, in fear that if I had shouted, it might have all gone to shit. "The why isss my own buissnesss. All you have to know isss that you are to anssswer my questions" the voice stopped sounding all around and was directly in front of me, and as I listened closer I could hear that she dragged out her Ss a lot. it reminded me of naga in-game."I will assk one more time. Who Are You?"the voice was much closer than before, so close I could feel the heat from her breath as it hit my face and with it, the smell of what I assume she had eaten. I couldnt really tell because it smelled so similar to death. It was an overly sweet smell, like that of a decomposing body, like rotting fruit.
Just what in Bwansamdi''s name did she eat today?!"I be called Vai, now den, why do ya be fightin me?" I wanted to know exactly why, because as far as I knew, I was simply going back to my original homeland.I listened to her as she was silent for a moment before saying "...Fine, a quesstion for a quesstion. I captured you becausse you are tressspasssing in Gurubashi land. Now then, Why are you here?"I immediately thought about that for a moment, whether or not I should tell her I was here for Him, before answering, " For hakkar." I uttered that simple phrase, though it seemed to work as the very air seemed tense for a moment. I listened to the silence before she spoke again,"You come for Hakkar? Why?"I listened in as she asked, questioning it myself. Why was I here for hakkar? was it for glory? was it for honor? I have no chance of beating him for his power, so why am I here?I thought to myself. "I... I no be knowin meself. I came ere for somtin, but I don know what. Honor? Glory? maybe, but I''m not bein so certain." I replied, trying my best to figure out the question for myself.
I listened to the slight hissing that came from her that mixed with the silence, waiting for her judgment upon the matter of my fate."give me time, I will ssspeak with my Masssters."I listened, before she slithered away, leaving me to my absolute darkness, deafening silence, and endless thoughts.
(Next day)
I woke once more as I heard the sound of heavy locks clanked, and slithering rose in sound, entering the room. I looked up, more out of instinct than an actual attempt to find her, only to hear,"Your fate hasss been decided."Her voice carried a sad tone to it that I immediately knew what they had decided. "How ya be plannin ta do it?" She was silent for but a moment, before a clanking noise resounded through the room as a key unlocked something. I simply sat there, before I asked, "Might I at least know me killa before I die? call it a final request." I simply waited as the sounds stopped before I heard slithering,"(Sigh) very well."
When the blindfold was removed I finally was able to see my warden and my interrogator. She was about twelve meters in length and when she tried to ''stand'' she was about seven feet tall. I was honestly pretty surprised as most nagas are only six to six and a half feet tall, making her much bigger than her cousins. Her scales were a collection of green, blue, and bronze-gold. along her stomach ran a wide line of bronze covering all of it, before breaking off into a dark green along her sides which ran along the rest of her body. Her arms, however, became a deep blue towards the ends. Looking at the break between her different colored scales was mesmerizing. She had four arms and of course, almost no clothing. There were fins on the side of her tail. on her head instead of hair, stood a hood made of flesh all the same bronze color her stomach was. But despite her similarities to a snake, she was still incredibly beautiful. She had striking emerald green eyes that looked like they would glow in the dark, Her face was that of a beautiful woman with ruby red lips, angular cheeks and her scales were so fine, I could barely tell the difference between them and skin in some places. It was a beautiful sight.
She had a sorry expression on her face as she looked upon me like she was looking at a dying baby deer. I simply gave a sad smile, before saying, "At least my death will be by a beautiful woman." her expression changed quicker than lightning could strike and she looked surprised at my words."Do you not fear death little one?"She asked me, genuine curiosity could be visibly seen eating away at her while she watched me, edging ever closer. "No. I fear da pain I get when I realize dat I did notin in dis world. Da pain when ya realize dat ya was useless. da pain you get when ya was wortless. Dat... is what I fear. Death is notin compared to it." I spoke with as much conviction as I could, putting what I had thought through many times into word, into being, into reality. I could only work my hardest to make sure that it didn''t happen, but I knew... If I let up for even one moment, it might all just come crashing down on me. The naga was now close enough to me to easily lick me, but I didn''t flinch, staring directly into her deep emerald eyes, getting lost in the green as I had before in the forest.
"I mussst admit, I am sad that for you to go. it wasss sssuch an interesssting encounter to meet you. Thank you."She replied after she realized that I had to die soon enough, and with that, she went back to what I now realized was a metal box. there was a key in it but it was left unturned, and as I watched, I saw her pull out a large vial from it. She swiftly but carefully brought it to me, while using a syringe to pull the liquid out of it. as soon as the syringe was full, she brought herself around me and jabbed the liquid into me.
At first, it felt like a nice warm stream going into me, no pain as even her injecting me didn''t hurt in the slightest. How the hell is this supposed to kill me?I mentally chuckled to myself, but a part of me kept screaming out in panic as the warm stream grew hotter. It went from a nice bath to a boiling pan of water, to magma. I felt the sweat running down my forehead, only to evaporate as I grunted and struggled against my own body, trying to escape the heat. But as much as I struggled against myself, the more time I gave the liquid. it continued to burn away at me while my grunts grew to screams, and soon the small room was filled to the brim with my burning rage.
"WHAT WAS DAT!" I screamed at my captor, fury burning in my eyes and hatred abound. she seemed surprised at my words, however, seeming like she hadn''t expected it. Unfortunately, it only made me angrier, at the idea of me being thought of as weak. I could feel myself bubbling, whether from anger or from the liquid, I don''t know, I just felt it. I continued to bellow out in anger as the ropes that bound me began to fray and break apart with a mighty *SNAP* one after another. She began to slowly back up as my bindings crumpled underneath my fury and my rage, and as my body continued to push and swell against the ropes till a final *SNAP* announced my release and I bounded towards my captor, and the one who had made me feel this pain and anger. I slammed my feet into the ground one after another as I swiftly approached her, and her eyes widened as she hastily brought out a small golden orb that shone from the intricate patterns on it, though I was too far gone to truly notice. though I did notice her put two of her hands together and slowly pull them apart to reveal a large bolt of blue and white that quickly built up before being shot out at me, quickly freezing me and encasing me in ice just a foot away from her. I watched in silence as the ice-cooled off the outside of my body but it did nothing to stop the fire that burned me from within. Both literally, and metaphorically. I could only close my eyes as my capture was once more assured.

Along the streets of Zul''Gurub, strode a green and bronze Naga. Striding alongside her was a large carriage of gold directed by a troll who held the reins to a large Direhorn in the front, pulling the carriage. The carriage held a large object blocked from view by a grand cloth of gold and brown covering it. The naga was following along, though only half-heartedly as she could be seen dropping off into space occasionally, and only coming back when it was time to make a turn or if she was about to run into someone.

As I walked along, I couldn¡¯t help but think of the time that I had spent with that troll, especially just before he attacked me.
''What is wrong with that troll?'' I thought to myself, thinking upon all the others who had fallen victim to the power of the blood. I thought of how all of them had almost immediately started screaming once the blood was injected. Their skin would almost immediately start to bubble and boil, before bursting in large explosions of red, splattering the area around them. But never had I seen a creature simply push the pain out of the way and focus upon me. The blood even took a good while before he started grunting from the pain itself.
''I must report this to the higher-ups.'' I thought to myself, before stopping that thought. If they were to hear of the troll who withstood the Blood, then they would surely assassinate him in fear of taking over their position, and them losing power. A part of me was holding myself back, telling me not to inform those who hold power, as it would make me lose out on such an interesting specimen. I can¡¯t lose out on him. I thought to myself as I formed a plan on what to tell my superiors. Eventually, our ride came to an end as we arrived in front of the holding cell. I was forced to carry out the prisoner onto a smaller platform, before bringing him to the doorway.
I slowly brought him up to the front door where the warden was watching over the proceedings. He didn¡¯t show too much about himself, physically or emotionally."Hello there Ssseiji, I have brought the prisssoner."
Seiji simply looked at me and the cart before nodding and waving another group of troll workers out to take the body inside. I watched as they slowly dragged him in, and as the dark hallway hid him from my vision. Til later then. I thought as I began to wander back home. Though I couldn''t get out the impression he had left on me, especially physically.
His body was far different to all those before him. His whole being was made like a tree, with its roots far beneath the surface. He was incredibly heavy to carry,
I had felt what a man''s body feels like, it was during the time when I helped strap on their armor, but never one like him. It felt condensed, he felt heavier than he should be with a body like that should be. He should be about two hundred at the very most but he feels like five hundred pounds. And the definition of his muscle, If it weren''t for the fact that he was a prisoner and the fact that he holds the blood of the Corruptor in his veins I would certainly try to drain him of some of it. It must taste incredible. *SIGH* Why do all good things have to be so bad for me.
My body felt hot for some reason. It felt like I had magma running through my veins. Eventually, I do come to the room where I''m supposed to drop him off. Vaiku. Such an odd name, though fitting for such an odd troll. I come up to the troll who is in charge of the holding area. "Hello there Seiji. It''s nice to see you. I''ve brought the POI here for you. Tell the others I say hi." Seiji simply gave me a nod as I ''walked'' off back towards my home. I lived in a house near the temple. Just a small area to call home.
It was dainty but the inside smelled of home and familiarity. All I had was a bed a few books a table and two chairs. Very little, but still it''s better than nothing. I went to my bed, exhausted from the day that I''ve had. The first thing was simply patrolling completely normal so far, then I happen to catch a troll looking upon the temple with curiosity. After taking him prisoner I tried to kill him off only to find out that he was immune to the poison. And when I was still stunned he managed to convince me to take off the blindfold.
So Embarrassing. Honestly. I couldn''t help but shiver when I remembered how he looked at me. His eyes simply screamed his fascination and there was even a small glint of lust in his eyes. Those amazing eyes of his. I couldn''t help but feel aroused when I thought of him. Strong, but gentle. Tall, but willing to bend. Beautiful, but not feminine. Truly he was perfect. Now if only he wasn''t a prisoner. Before I realized it I could hear the dripping of what sounded like water, but I knew what it really was. I slithered my way towards my bed. Though in reality, it was not more than a firm mattress, it was better than some could get in this area, and it was better than anything a normal naga would get in troll territory.
I coiled my lower body up into position and checked to confirm my suspicion. Honestly, the first time I''ve seen him and I already want to make him my own. I couldn''t help but feel disappointed with my own emotions at this point. (A/N: I assume that if you fell head over heels for a guy why you just met, and know nothing but their names, you would feel disappointed too.)
My vagina was dripping with straight arousal at this point. Were it not for the fact that they naturally close up when on the move, anyone else would notice it. Once again thanking my ancestors for choosing to become like this, I started. I knew I couldn''t sleep at all if I was like this the whole night. I began with a simple technique that I taught myself. I wouldn''t just jump right into shoving my hand inside myself but rather, I began to slowly tease the area around myself. I felt the pleasure shock me like electricity, going down my spine like how a metal rod conducts lightning.
I kept playing with myself as I felt the tension slowly move out like when the tide brings away small rocks and sand. I eventually picked up the pace, and I began to use my fingers to delve into my own depths. {Unfortunately, female naga possess genitals unlike their counterparts such as humans or elves. Their journey to the womb is an abnormally long one and is the sole reason why many female Naga marry at a very young age. Just to release their pent up desire. So for someone like Nitha to go for years after her coming of age ceremony to still be single is in and of itself a fascinating matter for her friends to speak about. So it''s really no wonder that she basically went into heat when she met Vaiku.}
Though the pleasure was intense and long, i couldn''t simulate the feeling of something deep inside me. Something that I craved, Something necessary. I couldn''t do anything but go back to teasing my folds and my clit in hopes of enough stimulation to get this night over with. It was a grueling experience for me, just trying to please myself. But in the end, I was successful if only barely. I felt myself orgasm but it was a small one. I kept fondling my breasts in hopes of another one but to my utter disappointment, I could only get one for the night. Oh well, take what you can get. I then lied back on my bed ready to go to sleep but there was something that was bothering me. It felt like I was being watched but I know that none of the trolls would want to be with me as all they see is my body and are immediately turned off. Hmmph, I bet their dicks aren''t long enough to even feel good. I simply cursed them out in my own mind and tried my best to go to sleep.
Though the night promised of different things as I heard a crack upon the door. I slowly roused myself as the knocking continued. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes before opening the door, only to find a tall figure standing in the doorway, with silver glowing eyes being the only thing piercing through the darkness. I didn''t even have time to register the black, armored fist before it had already slammed into me, and darkness took me away.
*Vaiku POV*
I woke up in a familiar setting. Complete darkness other than a small flickering flame outside my cage. That''s right, cage. I checked my surroundings by feeling it and there was no wall. I was caged. Though thankfully it was a large cage otherwise I''m not sure my pride could have stayed alive. I simply stared at the flame as I watched it grow ever so slightly. It burned a vivid red, which normally would have painted the walls around but as far as I could tell I was in a void other than the cage and flame. A simple nothingness surrounded the cage but I could tell. The Cage. It was weakening. I don''t know how but I could tell. The flame started to pick up the pace as it went from a candle to a torch, and from there on till it was a campfire. It was terrifying, to watch something coming from nothing. But that was exactly what was happening. The campfire grew and grew, as it spread.
It descended into an inferno of red flames. It was as If I was subjected to the very depths of hell itself. With fire hot enough to melt the very flesh from your bones. But I knew, I knew that I was not the target. The cage was the target, and A target it was. It began to meltdown to its very foundations. A part of me told me that this was the worst thing possible but another part told me to keep watching; that something interesting was going to happen when everything was over. So I sat there, watching as metal went through the three stages of matter.
First solid, then liquid, then gas. I don''t think that metal is supposed to be that way. Before it then changed once more. It became... transparent? I suppose. It was there, but it wasn''t there. If there was such a thing as ghost metal that''s what it looked like. It began to contort itself while it turned demonic red from the fire surrounding it as it shaped itself into a somewhat humanoid body. I watched with rapt attention and before I knew it, the metal had created a body.
It looked like a naga but there were many differences that told me otherwise. First off would be the wings like that of a wyvern for his arms with claws coming out of the tips where fingers would be and large spikes coming out of its shoulders. The leathery wings were blue, a stark contrast compared to the red scales that covered the monstrosity''s body. It held long scythes for hands and the face of a snake that held a deadly look. Though the strangest part was how even with all of the signs telling that it was a monster, it spoke. Like any sentient creature.

However, while speaking the language, all I could hear was the hallucinations of carcasses covering a battlefield while the sea of blood beneath my feet drained into the ground, being gradually fed into an ever elongating serpent. The voice was ancient and at the same time young. It was maddening to listen to and despite my best attempts, I couldn''t keep the voice out of my head. It was dug into me. Feeding me little wordings. I continued my best to hold out against the whisperings in the dark but they were relentless in their pursuit and I was growing tired. I couldn''t keep up.
I couldn''t stop it.
I couldn''t block it.
I couldn''t help it.
It was in.
"¦£?¦Í¦Å¦Ó¦Å ¦Ð¦Ñ¦Ø¦Ó¦Á¦È¦Ë¦Ç¦Ó?? ¦Ì¦Ï¦Ô. ?? ?? ???? ?? ?? ?? ?? ???? ???? ?????? ?? ??. O que voc¨º quiser."
"Anything?" I asked the voice.
¡¸¤Ê¤ó¤Ç¤â?¡¹ the voice said in its sickly sweet melody. As I listened to what he told me I thought of my previous life and how little I achieved other than completing high school and getting a few jobs here and there to support myself. I never had the courage to raise the bar for myself. I was average or below average in all ways. I couldn''t get anything I wished.
Not this time.
"Very well, My lord. What would you ask of me?" I asked as I thought of all I could possess by following him. Not even the thought of who he was, was enough to stop me in my pursuit of what I wish for.
"Ïò¹ÅÀ°ÍʲչʾÄãÓµÓÐʲôÑùµÄÁ¦Á¿£¬²¢Õ¹Ê¾Ë¸øÄãÁË¡£Yo me encargar¨¦ del resto. This world shall fall to us." I could hear the deception in his voice but I knew that it was fine. He would help me in the short term, and he would try to betray me in the long term. though that was fine with me as I didn''t plan to stay controllable forever. He would launch me into new lands that I might not have been able to reach before. I can only thank him for that much.
I watched as the flame receded and I was once again back in the real world, with only the candle to see in the otherwise pitch-black room that I had been locked in. I blinked for a few moments before I felt my sanity come back after that shit. I still was going to do so, but there was something I had to do first. I began to move towards the light, stepping and trying to navigate through the dark. A marching theme came into my head as I stepped forward.
I then grabbed towards the candle, only to find bars in my way. I couldn''t really see them well, but I could feel them. They were obviously there to keep me in but I had an idea. I looked towards the candle, got my face as close as I could and I blew it out. The one remaining light disappeared, but I knew it was the only way. And wouldn''t you know it, five minutes later and my eyes had already adjusted to the dark and I could see much better than before. My eyes were similar in nature to cats, though without the pattern that a cat has. I couldn''t see the world like it is day, but rather it looks like a mix of greys for me.
I looked at the room I was in and noticed that besides the bed that I had there wasn''t anything in there. Only the bed and the bars. I looked at the bars and I felt for a lock, trying to see how they opened it. I found it and I felt that it was just a simple lock with a key, though I didn''t have anything to pick it. I would have to wait for an opportunity then. I was about to sit down when I heard a small *SQUEAK* come from nearby me. I looked around quickly and I found the suspect. A large black rat about the size of my hand with multiple scars on its body. I immediately began to concoct a plan on how I could break out, as a small smile rushed to my face.
Without missing a beat I lunged towards the rat and grabbed onto it as it attempted to squirm from my firm grasp upon it. Though continuing to fail it never seemed to give up while I simply decided on how to do this. I quickly broke the rat''s neck so that it would have a quick and painless death for this and I began to tear open the rat''s chest. Digging through the muscle and fat before reaching the needed part: the bones. I immediately began to pull at the legs of it, trying to keep the flesh off the bones and not break them to the best of my ability. It was difficult, to say the least, pulling small bones out of a body but in the end, I finally got the ones I needed. I immediately began to clean them off, to make sure that nothing got in the way, and I began to fit them together so they would stick.
About thirty minutes later and they had dried for the most part and were sticking to each other, Good timing. I immediately began to pick at the lock with cautious gusto in my fingers as I listened closely to the lock before I heard the inevitable *CLICK* of a lock being undone.
A smile crossed my face before I focused up once more. I slowly opened the gate to test if there were any creaks and upon hearing none, I walked back into the cell and I grabbed the rat body, and walked out, locking the door behind me. Can''t leave any evidence behind. I immediately descended into the corridors of gold and green and made my way through them. I walked and snuck for what seemed like an eternity as the stench of jungle clogged my nose and silence filled my ears.
I eventually found the exit to the dungeon and I immediately slowed myself. I looked towards the edges to see if there was anyone, but my surprise only accelerated as there was no one there. No one in the street. I was alone. I stepped out of the dungeon into the streets of gold that were Zul''gurub, and I was in awe once more. The golden arches, the floors of green, and the tall towers of stone that stood above them all. I shook myself from my awe and I began to look around for anyone that may be out when the moon shows itself once more, but I found no one. It was like the city had been abandoned by all life but the plants that littered the ground. I continued to work my way around through the town, constantly checking around myself and looking for anyone who may be around, waiting in the dark to take me back to the cell that I had only just liberated myself from.
I walked the streets before coming across a small hut next to a pyramid-like temple. The temple was grand by all accounts. It held many entrances with more windows than stars in the sky and for some reason was completely gold. So why would a small shack that was made of but wood and with holes on it? I slowly snuck up to the window and looked inside, only to see the one that had brought me here sleeping. It was the naga that had attempted to interrogate me then tried to kill me. In the moonlight, her scales gleamed like gold and she looked like a serpentine angel. I could feel anger flow through myself but it was quickly doused by the endless ocean of curiosity that was bubbling inside of me. What is a naga doing in troll territory? Why hasn''t she been killed yet? Who is she? But i managed to put a stop to that before it got out of hand. I backed away from the window and went behind the shack before I began to look at what was prioritized in my list of what to do.
I needed to find weapons and armor. Preferably something darker and light so it will be difficult to see me at night.I need to study the surroundings quickly so in case someone does find that i''m missing, i can make a quick getaway.I needed more general information about what has been happening in Zul''gurub lately, so I should probably find someone to take said information from. The easiest one would probably be the naga.
With a four-step plan in place, I went on my way to process through it. I immediately began to run around different areas, looking to see what areas held some sort of weapon that I could use. I ran past the buildings and shops as I checked them one by one. I then finally came across a small smithy where there were weapons on a rack, but they were put under lock and key. Nothing I can''t take care of. I quickly broke into it without damaging the glass as I wanted to make as little noise as possible. I then looked at my selection. There were many different swords and axes of varying sizes but what really drew my attention were two smaller swords. I could tell just by looking at them that whoever made them, put both extreme care, and love into the craft. They looked somewhat simple, but I knew that they were stronger than almost all of the other weapons in the shop. And with a bit of extra forging with different materials, I could make them even better. I was quick to get rid of the smile that had worked it''s way onto my face as I focused on picking the lock with the bones again.
Though the lock proved to be a harder challenge than I thought, as one of the bones broke before falling out. I immediately threw the rest of the bones away before looking around for small pieces of metal that I could use. Though my luck seemed to have run out as there were only metal bars, far too large and thick to be used in this. Time to do this the old fashioned way. I immediately put both of my hands on the bars and I began my assault of pulling them apart from each other. My veins rippled underneath my skin and my face began to go red as the metal let out small creaks, signaling it''s bending. Soon, a clank was heard as one of the swords was released from its iron prison. I then went on to do the same for the other sword as well.
I picked up thesword and began to weigh it in my hands, trying to find out the secrets held behind its simple mask, testing their weight Though, for now, it would remain a mystery as I had other things to do. I looked around to see an area of the store directly responsible for armor management, and I immediately rushed over. There were many different vibrant colors of reds, blues, and greens, but there were also some monochromatic colors as well such as white, grey, and black. I rapidly went through the black section of armor and came across one that caught my eye. It was a labyrinth of interlocking leather and metal that managed to come together and form a beautiful piece of art. There were large pauldrons but in favor of stealth, I abandoned them. I quickly fitted myself with the armor and strapped the weapons to my back before leaving towards the shack. I had already gotten a good idea of how large the city was by this point with all my rushing around to find weaponry.
I found myself in front of the door to the nagas shack once more. I was wondering how to get into the shack when I simply decided on the oldest fashioned way about it. I started knocking on the door, repeatedly and loudly, but not loudly enough to wake anyone else in the city up. Soon after a few rounds of knocking, I heard the lock clicking as she opened the door, only to be met in the face with my newly armored fist. Let''s hear you sing. I thought to myself as I grabbed her and pulled her into her own house, a sinister smile dangling from my lips.
Overkill
*Nitha POV*
I woke up to a splitting headache and a blinding light above me. As I moved my hands to rub my forehead, I felt unable to as something was holding my arm back. I shot up and opened my eyes despite the light and noticed that I was bound by chains to the wall. I looked closely around me rapidly, attempting to find what enemy had done this, only to find that there was no one. I couldn''t help but feel antsy as the silenced dominated the room around me. I then noticed exactly where I was. I wasn''t in some extreme place, I was in my basement. With my table and chair made for late-night drinking and crying over my anger at being separated and abused by the trolls. The fireplace where I would regularly fall asleep after some late-night reading, and a bunch of barrels where I kept all the alcohol.
They had all been moved out of the way and I was currently being chained down in the middle. I was barely able to move, and there were locks everywhere on the chains that held me. It was almost a smaller prison cage with how much metal was on my body. I could only wait to see what would happen at this point, as I couldn''t move, I was in an environment that I had no way to get out of, and I didn''t even know who had kidnapped me. Though, as if being answered, I soon heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I felt my heartbeat slowly increase and I felt my body heat up once more. Why? I could only ask myself as the vast lake of confusion was covered with astonishment as I viewed my captor in full light.
Dressed in black scaled armor that seemed to form a labyrinth when put together, with his silver eyes and blue skin, stood Vaiku, the very troll that I had captured the day prior and made sure was locked in a dungeon. He stood in the doorway with his helmet off his head and hanging from his fingertips at his side. I could see that he held a small triumphant smile upon his face, but the image didn''t truly process as my mind was still asking questions. How did he escape? How did he know where I was? Why do I feel so scared of him? I couldn''t answer all of them at the same time, so I simply froze. Still as rock, as I watched him come closer to me. Before stopping right in front of my face.
¡°Ya mind telling Vaiku what a naga be doin in dis place? If any of da odas be seein ya, Ya would haf been killed by now mon,¡± he spoke in the traditional troll accent but it held hints of something else. Though what I couldn''t tell. ¡°Don be freezin up on Vaiku now, I still need ya. After all, ya be Vaiku¡¯s guide to dis place.¡± He spoke with an evil grin on his face as a dark fire burned behind his eyes. I couldn''t move as soon as I saw them. They burned with hate, greed, and gluttony. I wanted to reach out and touch them but I was still bound.
Though he seemed to be getting tired of my silence as he grabbed me by the throat and began to lift me slowly off the ground. ¡°Come on now, Speak, or I be havin to use force on ya, and ya no be wantin dat,¡± he said with no longer a smile but a cold face of indifference that layered over the face of a true predator. I was petrified in front of him but I knew that if I spoke on the secrets that I held I would be hunted for sport. It was already a blessing that I hadn''t been hunted since I began living here. After all, most trolls bear an unnatural hatred for nagas such as myself. I decided that no matter how terrifying, I would bear my silence. Vaiku must have seen it in my eyes as he immediately said, ¡°Ah, so ya bein silent eh? *Sigh* I been hopin dat it would no be comin to dis.¡±
He said it with such regret that it made me falter. He reached down and grabbed my neck before lifting me off the ground as the air left my lips and my breath became shallow. I could feel my tail touching the ground as the chains held me down leaving it next to useless. I tried to get any little breath that I could but his grip left me with no chance for that. He then immediately pulled back his fist but as I closed my eyes for the inevitable sucker punch, I felt an explosion hit my stomach. I coughed out any air that I had held and began to dangle from his hand as the rim of my vision began to darken and disappear from me. Is this the end? I felt the resistance in me begin to leave from my body like the air itself. And as I began to dangle from his fist, I felt as seemingly all weight dropped from my body, leaving my weightless, before I slammed into the ground.
The air rushed into my lungs faster than I could get it out to breath and subsequently, I was left in a state of breathlessness in which even if I wanted to, I could not. I couldn''t even hear the clanking from the chains and from his armor as they slammed into the floor. I just kept trying to instinctively breathe. Though my break came soon as the block in my chest left in a flash and I was able to take rasping shuddering breaths that barely brought me relief. I coughed continuously as I breathed in and out. As my vision returned to me I finally noticed the different pieces of armor that were lying around. Confused I looked and noticed that there was a small mountain of then next to the now naked troll standing in front of me. I blinked for a moment, but it was a moment too late as I felt a breeze flow across my scales, causing me to shiver.
Spoiler:Real quick lemon scene.
I couldn''t move as I looked upon the temple that was his body. Built like a rock, but moving and breathing like any other animal you would see in the wild. As he stood there I had plenty of time to become mesmerized by the absolute beauty of his muscle.
He grabbed me once more, though this time it was softer. He still held a hard grip but it didn''t feel like the one before it. It didn''t feel like he was going to kill me. It was him trying to show me how in control he was, to the point where if he wanted he could kill me, but he won''t. I wasn''t terrified but I was still quite fearful of him. And I couldn''t help but feel another emotion bubble up. Small bubbles, but they were there. It was a feeling of submission. I could feel it in my blood, body, and bones. I wanted to be his. I wanted him to stand over me. I need it. I thought. I could barely control myself as he slid one hand along my scales, while his other kept my neck pinned to the ground. ¡°I gonna be enjoyin dis body for meself.¡± He kept a wide-eyed grin as his hand slid into me.
I felt his fingers moving along the lining of my pussy. Scraping gently on them with his sharp nails. He quickly found my spots, and swiftly set to working on them. I felt my body bending to his being, simply melting like wax near a fire as he moved. Though just as quickly as he began, he stopped. Though I wasn''t saddened, as I noticed his appendage that had been hanging, was now standing just as tall as he was. With a glare in his eyes, and a carved smile on he aimed himself towards me, just as a hunter would nock an arrow on his bow. I couldn''t keep myself from moving of its own accord as I bit down hard on my lip. And with but a single swift motion, he let the arrow fly as he plunged into me. I felt it strike me deep down, far deeper than I had managed to get before, and as the pain hit, so did the pleasure. For while the pain pinched at me, the pleasure overwhelmed with maddening amounts. It was a broken dam, flooding me. Though he stayed still for a moment, I could feel any even minuscule moment made, from moving his hand slightly, to his heartbeat pumping blood into his cock. Though such a moment was quickly replaced as he slowly drew himself out like a sword from its sheath and plunged back in. Over. And Over. And over again. His relentless pounding made me start to lose focus, not only in my mind as chaos ruled, but also through my senses. It felt like lightning strikes up my spine and into my head with each movement. I couldn''t take it.
As he continued, I noticed that he was gradually speeding up, faster and harder before he plunged as deep as he could, and stayed for a moment while his torrent of cum was unleashed into me. I felt as a flood of heat washed into me, getting as deep as it could go, before pushing back up the way it came when it had no more room, resulting in cum going everywhere. I felt satisfied, as every part of my insides were painted white, and my whole body radiated warmth.A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
I closed my eyes. Though that didn''t seem to be the end as I was aggressively awoken to his hand around my neck, cutting off the air. ¡°Ya didn''t tink dat dis was ova did ya?¡± He asked with a manic glint in his eyes. ¡°Dat was just da beginnin. Now da real fun starts.¡± He watched as I continued to choke without air, and as I felt my eyes rolling back into my skull. Though he let go soon after that. Getting off my chest while I coughed up my lungs, trying for air once more. As he got up, I noticed that he walked over to the table that I kept down here, grabbing for a small bland-looking knife. As he slowly walked back to me, knife in hand, he spun it around his fingers with dexterity he didn''t look to possess. He just spun it around, while keeping a glare directed towards me. I felt a shiver go down my spine as if I was being told that a disaster was coming. I could feel the temperature seem to slowly drop, and chills ran rampant through my body causing me to shiver, though I ignored it as the troll stood over me, ready.
*Vaiku POV*
Well, that was informative. Nitha, the naga, had given me just as I had hoped. She had given me information. I had asked about a few things pertaining to the situation right now, how well-liked was hakkar, and a few other things that would help me. I had already tortured most of the information out of her, but in the end she simply passed out from the pain. Weakling. Even I managed to hold my own against such technique when my teacher used it on me. I had simply started with a bit of flesh bashing, making her scales peel off a bit, before I started cutting things off. She wasn''t like a troll where she could regenerate her whole arm if it was cut off, but naga can easily regenerate something as simple as the top of a finger, even humans can do so if you can find the tops. Bit of that and this, and boom. Information.
Anyway, due to her information, I had begun to construct a plan.
As the gurubashi war was about to start in a few years, I would need to be ready or else I would be destroyed. I had to pick the correct side, where I would get the most benefits. That side would be Hakkar¡¯s. My class was a priest, and from what I can tell, classes don''t develop their abilities, (Such as smite being the first priest spell) until the user reaches adulthood. (17 for trolls) I had thought about my class a lot when I was younger, and I realized something. Who says that you have to worship either the light or the void? Sure, they are the most powerful, but they are by far the most standard and inflexible of powers. Priests are known for worshiping a deity, even priests outside of WoW. So why can''t I worship a loa? Also known as a wild God. It was a turning point for me.
But to become a worshipper of Hakkar, I would need to make myself known to the other trolls. What better way than that of a gladiator pit? A few fights here, or there, and I would be more well known. It was a simple plan, but an effective one if I could pull it off. Though there was a chance that I could fail in it. I stopped myself at that thought, before ridding myself of it''s unnecessary weight that bore me down.
I had a plan ready. All that was left was the execution of it. I could hear the cheers of trolls screaming as I stood over my enemies body, blood drenched, and eager for more. I wanted it so terribly. I would have it. I thought, as I fantasized. I continued walking with The Naga while doing so.
I slowly brought her bloodied and broken with her shards of scales slowly peeling off revealing her pink flesh, up to the bedroom where I laid her down and simply left her. All the chains still on her, but without the locks. Should she wake up, she will know not to go to others. After all, if she were, I could just find her once more.
I walked out of her shack and into the sunlight as day broke free of the shadowy constraints of the mountains, and the red-orange and yellow rays landed upon my body. It must have just been a bit past 6 AM. There were the few who were up and about at this time. There were a few trolls that were simply getting up from the streets holding their heads, most likely from drinking too much from the night before, and trying to stand up before falling over once again. There were at least a dozen merchants running around and setting up shop for their eventual customers at which they would screech and holler about how their wares were better than their neighbors.
It would soon be pure chaos, and I would thrive in it. I smiled before running down the streets, trying to find my way to the correct path. And I soon found it. I was led through a gate and into the jungle leading away from Zul¡¯Gurub, and as I walked the path, I looked in wonder. It was so real, it was so powerful. The simple feeling of being in this world. It held an intoxicating feeling to it. I continued through the jungle path, following closely to the path not yet set down like it was in game. And soon enough, I arrived.
I was ready to kill something. I wanted something to feast on, something to fight, something to get my blood pumping. Escaping Zul¡¯Gurub was easy enough as none of them expected me to. But sooner or later, they would be on my tail, and they would find me. Regardless of whether or not the Naga spoke to them about me. Though they would be hard pressed to find me in a gladiator pit. Most prisoners would try to escape fighting and death, not delve into it. I was walking up to the gate when I was stopped by a small group of guards wearing red and dark blue hulking armor and carrying weapons as if they were carrying air. They all looked like they were ready to fight something, most likely me, but for the most part they stayed their hand. ¡°Der be no games goin on today, what ya be doing here?¡± He asked in a deep voice. He was obviously the leader of their small group of guards as the others said nothing, waiting for me to speak. ¡°I be wantin ta fight. Do ya need me to sign?¡± I asked back, staring directly into the leaders eyes.
He seemed a little shocked though, as if it was such a crazy request. Though perhaps it was. ¡°Ya be wantin to fight? Ya must be crazy. If ya want a fight, go and duel someone. Ya just be throwin ya life away if ya go in da arena.¡± he shouted at me, drawing attention from the few other guards that were watching. ¡°What so wrong wit wantin a good fight?¡± I asked, honestly quite confused as I thought most trolls would love a good fight. ¡°Nottin, but dats just a blood fest.¡± He warned me once more, though I simply ignored it in favor of trying to figure out when the fighting would commence. ¡°When is da next match? I be wantin in.¡± I told him, as he finally gave up on trying to convince me to not do so. ¡°It be tomorrow. De only fightas are slaves. If ya want in, ya need to look like one.¡± He told me, already looking like he was regretting it. ¡°Is dat it? Good. I got an idea.¡± I told him, as I started to walk off, leaving him alone in confusion and curiosity.
I had already begun to devise an idea. They needed a slave, so they would get one. As I walked through the jungle once more, I found myself wandering. Simply watching the jungle breathe around me. Though I quickly got enough of it, and started to head back to Zul¡¯Gurub. As I walked past the gates and settled into the crowds that flooded the streets, I felt like I was sticking out. I was much taller than most of them, and I could easily see over them. Though my worries seemed to settle as I could feel a set of eyes resting on me. Like a hawk, watching with vigilance. I didn''t let it know that I knew of its existence, but I did look for it with small glances to my right and left here or there. I saw through the various carts and over the other trolls as I looked, though nothing was found. So for the moment, I ignored it. I continued my path to the jail cell that I had been placed in by Nitha. As I arrived though, I noticed that there were a few guards that were coming along. They had their armor on completely tightened and ready, but I could tell from their posture and their way of movement that they were tired. They almost didn''t want to be here. Shouldn¡¯t be too hard to escape their notice. I thought as I slowly inched through the river of people, and towards the cells.
As I entered, I noticed that the guards who were coming down the road must be the new ones, as there were none in the building. So I quickly moved down the hallway, unstopped, til I came across my cell. The door was still slightly ajar, and nobody was in it so I quickly entered it before closing behind me and hiding my swords underneath the ¡°Bed¡± that they had given me.
And just as I had imagined they would, they entered, noticed nothing and simply moved on. This should be fun. I thought.
Slavery
I waited for hours, simply watching the guards as they made their way down the halls and through the walkways. They all seemed bored at their job, though that didn''t mean they did a bad job. No, rather they did an incredible job. I didn''t have more than a minute before I was being watched again. I simply laid there, fantasizing about what might happen in the future. Though I was constantly brought back to one point. I was fifteen-hundred years ahead of schedule. I need a way to either move through time or to stay alive till then. Honestly, the second option seems more plausible to me. Bronze dragons are notorious for tracking down others who abuse time, and ¡°taking care¡± of them. Even if I did manage to find a way to time travel, AND evade them, there is no guarantee where or when I would end up. No, it was just better to find a way to survive.
I continued to wait in that cell, slowly feeling my brain cells rot away from the boredom, til I heard a clink as a troll woman unlocked my cage. She wasn''t very tall by troll standards but she easily stood at seven feet flat, with very light purple skin and blue eyes. Her hair was braided in the back as it lay flat upon her back reaching down to touch her ass. Her face was formed into a frown that only grew larger as she looked upon me as if I was a dissatisfying existence in life. She wore a two-piece dress, covered in blue and black straps that made up the lower area, and dark blue flooding the top. Her entire midriff was exposed, however, as she showed off a small amount of jewelry with a belly button piercing holding a small golden ring. Though it showed off her hourglass figure as well as jewelry, with her bust and hips getting the perfect curves while being covered. Though her short size caused her to seem almost smaller than what she was. But just because of that, didn''t make me feel any better. I felt nervous around her. As if you were next to a psychopath. You don''t know what could happen next.
¡°Wat ya be doin here mon?¡± She asked, in a more feminine voice than I thought she would produce while staring at me with no small amount of confusion. ¡°Tresspasin.¡± I simply replied, with a small shoulder shrug. Though that didn''t seem to help her at all, as she just nodded absentmindedly. ¡°Ya mind tellin¡¯ me how?¡± She asked, trying to get a story out of me. ¡°Sure mon, if only ya be down ta a bit o¡¯ playin.¡± I smiled as lewdly as I could as i spoke, trying my best to give her the impression I was hoping for. And as her stare grew colder, I knew I gave her it. ¡°Wat gave ya tha impression dat I would agree to dat?¡± She stared at me while I simply sat on my bed wearing the largest grin I could. ¡°Why? Cause ya smell just like a wet bitch in heat.¡± I spat back at her, watching as small veins popped here or there on her forearms and a single one across her forehead. She let out a huff as she immediately turned around, walking through the unlocked gate once more, knocking one of the guards to the side in her anger, while the door latched shut. Thank god. I thought as I dropped all pretenses and lay back down. I don¡¯t know how much longer I could have stayed like that. I told myself while thinking about what would happen next. If I had pissed her off enough, she would probably put me in the arena. Though I also risked the chance of being executed, though I could just ask for a chance in the arena instead. Works out in the end. I thought as I mentally shrugged.
I ended up falling asleep in the bed, only to wake up to the door unlocking once more, as two guards came in with chains and handcuffs. ¡°Put dem¡¯ on.¡± He gruffly told me, as I sat up to do so. I quickly put the handcuffs on myself, before I could do anything else however, I was already being pulled along. I was walked to a wagon outside the door and shoved in before they locked the door and began driving off. I simply sat in the back, in the dark as the slow path wound down. Though it took much longer than I would have thought, as normally it would take me a half-hour to reach the arena, the carriage took well over two hours. I can''t say for the life of me why it would take that long. But while I couldn''t do so in the cart, I immediately knew once I stepped out. I saw huge gatherings of people, wrapped around the arena area like a rock submerged in water. They were all trying to get into the arena, as they were chatting quite loudly to their neighbors and family. I even saw a few children walking with their parents.
I simply nodded looking upon this, as it is better to let your children know about death and fighting early on. They would prove to be better warriors should they watch. Though a small part of me knew that they would never grow to become warriors, as the war was coming. I walked through the crowd, bearing chains, and watching as trolls split the area to let me and my guards through. Some looked upon me with pity, others watched with a hint of curiosity, though it quickly disappeared as excitement took its place upon realizing that a new gladiator had arrived.
I was walked through the crowds, and into a small entrance to the side of the arena, which led downward into a cavern-like room. The first thing that hit me though, was the stench. A wave of nausea wracked my body as the scent of feces, and urine mixed with blood and infection swirled together to create a scent almost toxic, and could easily be used in chemical warfare. As my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I realized that the room was full of different weapons, armor, and other such items to be used for fighting. There were racks of spears, swords, bows, and shields that lined my view for hundreds of meters. It just goes to show. Underdeveloped doesn''t mean unintelligent. I looked to the walls and saw that all the bricks were dyed red, either from blood, or that was just how they were constructed. Though I was impressed with the construction, I still could barely hold onto consciousness with the scents around me. I continued through the area, looking around at different gladiators who had obviously been here longer than I, all of which were caged. The gladiators were mostly trolls, but there were a few other races. I saw a few nagas and multiple different beasts that were kept in cages. I saw a few large cats like panthers and tigers, but there were also some gorillas and monkeys around. Some had bandages covering limbs, and a few were missing an eye, but for the most part, they simply had scarring. It was more apparent than any other injury, with some of them having so much scarring, that it didn''t seem like they had skin. They held deep flesh wounds from swords and spears, along with burn marks. I narrowed my eyes at such things before I was forced to move on.
I couldn''t believe just how large the arena was, as the video game did nothing to show it''s beauty. Especially the underground. They didn''t even have an underground in-game. I reprimanded myself for not remembering such a simple thing. I was walked through the entirety of the underground, before I came across an empty cage, and was shoved in soon after the door was opened. I quickly turned around to see the cage lock in front of me, and my jailors walk away. As I wallowed in the sights and smells around me, I took sight of what my cage contained. Just about nothing. There was no bed to sleep in, no bathroom area, or even anyone near me to speak to. Though that wasn''t to say it was silent. No, if anything, it was loud. There were constant groans, moans, and even the occasional screams that pierced the otherwise silent underground. I just listened. I didn''t want to tune it out, but rather embrace it. I lied down upon the cold metal of the cage, and listened as the sounds of pain almost harmonized together as if they were crying out not because of pain, but as if to get something¡¯s attention. It sounded rather beautiful, as the pitch slowly rose, before falling again in rich harmony. Though what made me jump was the sudden stop. The voices had fallen silent, and not a sound emerged from it all. I sat up quickly as I could, looking around in the pitch black, attempting to find any soul nearby which would herald life.
Though sadly, there was none. Or so I thought. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a faint dot of red. A glimmer, that''s it. But even a glimmer can turn to be a burning sun when encased in shadow. As the glimmer grew, I was reminded of something before. Though as the glimmer grew larger, I began to notice other details about it. I noticed it''s rounded shape, it''s consistent movement and the sound. Dun dun. Dun dun. Dun dun. A rhythmic beating that stayed at the same pitch, same consistency, and exact same bass. Over and over again. I soon noticed that the glimmer wasn''t growing larger, but rather it was moving. Towards me.
I watched as the glimmer grew to become a large heart, constantly beating and thumping. It was simply floating in the air, as blood flowed through the veins, before simply disappearing. It was a strange sight to be sure, though I felt something other than curiosity. The sight of the heart caused shivers to go up and down my spine, through my ribs and vibrating through the very marrow of my bones. It was a feeling of pure terror. I watched as the previously disappearing blood began to form a body. It started with the bones, then layers of veins and muscle grew around them. All forming from the heart. The body was large, very large. Almost twelve feet tall. It grew long and thick tusks from its head and hair that lined it''s back, from the top of its head to the nape of its neck. Though what really caught attention, was the color of its eyes. Unlike the rest of its body, the eyes glowed an eerie silver. The rest of the body was blood-red and had what looked like mist made of blood coming from every pore, blocking out the most prominent features, such as the face. (think of a shadow priest¡¯s shadow form. You know someone is there, but it''s harder to make out distinct features.)
I watched as the abomination of blood and bone took hold, towering over the cages, and looking right at me with its eyes of true-silver. The other inhabitants of the underground in cages seemed to pay this creature no mind if they even could see it. They all just seemed to stare off into space like zombified creatures. The amalgamation stared at me, before taking large strides to my cage. I felt my body back itself up to the corner, but I was in no position to stop it. I watched as it grabbed onto my cage with its misty red fingers, and tilted it up. I was forced to lay flat on my back, against the bars of the cage, as it opened its mouth. ¡°Prove yourself. Spill the blood. Become my champion.¡± As it said those words, I saw the giant Seep through the bars and enter the cage where I sat. As it seeped through, it stopped being a solid, and it stopped being a liquid. As soon as it touched the bars, it turned to a red smoke, before twisting around me like the winds twisted around a tornado. As it slowly started getting faster, bits and pieces started to float towards me in small beads of blood. Attaching themselves to my skin and being infused. As soon as it touched my skin, I was instantly reminded of the first trial I had to go through with my mentor, and the feeling of melting flesh came back to me in full force. I felt smoke coming off of my skin wherever the blood touched, floating into the air, till my whole body was being infused with it, and smoke covered my entire being, preventing other eyes from seeing me. I continued to simply grit and grind my teeth, almost reducing them to rubble, as the process continued against my will. The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
Time passed very quickly, but each second felt like a minute, and each minute felt like an hour. By the end of it, I was covered in sweat, and taking as many deep breaths as I could. But through it all, I felt myself smiling. I pulled my arm in front of my face and simply stared in amazement at it. It reminded me exactly of that giant. Large and muscled, with red mist covering it''s more distinct features. I felt a chuckle come onto me, before I broke out into clear audible laughter as I felt dragged back into the real world, and as the smoke dissipated back into my body. I quickly sat up, looking around, only to notice that there were many eyes watching me once more. The other prisoners were looking towards me, no doubt wondering if I had gone insane in the hours that I had been here. As my laughter died down, and the eyes stayed, I felt a smile etched onto my face. I had seen it. What he had planned. What he wished. What he wanted from me. Should I stay with it? I found myself wondering, in the confusion of it all. I wasn''t sure whether or not the plan would get me killed in the end, or if it would make me more powerful.
As I stayed in that cage, my thoughts were the mental equivalent of a swampy hurricane. Muddled all the way through, but moving more quickly than I could account them for. I felt myself grow lost in them as I planned, percieved, and scrapped each plan that was running through my head before I even finished them. I felt my own body almost rejecting my mind and soul, as if incompatible, the whole time this was happening. I felt my normally mundane emotions clogging every part of me, wanting to stop my body from continuing, so it wouldn¡¯t have to deal with the future. But my body seemed to prove victorious, as I stayed where I was, on the floor, unmoving. Do not reject me so, for while you might find your own brawn lacking, I make up for both of us. And where I find my intellect lacking, you share. We are the same coin. If we wish to remain alive and well, we must not reject. A coin with one side has never existed, and it never will. As the words were developed a part way of me absent-mindedly drawing them in the dust that layered the bottom of the cage, I felt my mind slow. No longer was it a train off its tracks, rampaging through the lands and destroying everything, it was calm and collected. And pulling into the station.
I felt my breath return to me at that, and my heart slowed down as the calm came over me. I let out a sigh of relief as my own forces which had just been rebelling began to compromise. What do we do now? I questioned myself once more, but as it remained the focus of my attention, I felt exhaustion begin to muddle the pond waters of my mind. Thinking and staying awake are rather hard things to do without food after all. I thought as I lay back and close my eyes. Waiting for the dark to embrace and wrap around me like so many times before. But as the moments passed, and dark did come, it was incomplete. Like the light shining at the end of the hallway leading to your room as you try to fall asleep. Endlessly bugging me with a light of no color. But regardless, even the light left me alone and I was once more, alone.
(3rd POV)
Far above the cavern of cretins and prisoners, lay a large open field, with towering walls of rock surrounding and closing off any escape, and a single booth that held a troll of light blue skin, red hair, and yellow glowing eyes. His tusks had bands around them and his ears were pierced, with claws of ravenous monsters running through the skin in his shoulder. He was wearing a neutral smile on his face showing off his mild amusement at the arena down below. There are a few gates, but the metal barriers that were so easily raised earlier, have slammed down hard, ensuring no one escapes easily. The stairs were packed full of raging crowds all screaming for multiple things, blood, death, fighting. There were three beings inside the stony prison, each special in regard to the other, but each strong in their own terms. The three were simply standing in their own areas, careful to not let one of the others take advantage of their situation. One was a large panther, standing at about four feet at its shoulder, thirteen feet long and over seven hundred pounds it was a force to be reckoned with. The second and third were both trolls, but they were still watching each other like hawks, as this was a lawless area where anyone could do anything. The first troll was a bit shorter but made up for it with his incredibly impressive muscle mass. He looked like he would weigh four hundred pounds easily, with his veins popping out of his skin like rivers pop up out of the earth on a map. He was gripping two smallish hammers that seemed to be made of bone, most likely pulled right off of a large monstrosities hip. The second troll was rather tall, with light blue skin and silver hair. He was much lankier than either of his opponents but was still muscled. He might not have been the one to bring cannons to the gun show, but he certainly brought rifles and snipers.
They were keeping an eye on each other, watching to see who would make the first move. The short troll was sweating, both from the tension in the air, but also from the screaming of crowds that surrounded them calling for him to attack the others. As the tension skyrocketed, the Shorter troll charged to the lengthy troll, his eyes darting back and forth between him and the panther that watched and waited readily to pounce on any mistakes that he would make. He was atop the Taller troll within moments, who wielded naught but a long, but sturdy, quarterstaff. He swiftly bent down in the knees, getting lower than his opponent before swinging the staff with all the might he could produce from his muscles. As he swung, the shorter troll immediately twisted his body and arms to block the attack. As the two bone weapons reached each other, they let out a mighty crack before the lanky troll was blown back by the blow. Though he managed to stay on his feet, he shook his hands around in an attempt to get rid of the stinging sensations from the vibrations. These precious few moments, however, were all the moments the shorter toll needed as he descended upon him once more with a flurry of blows. Each attack knocked back the taller troll further to the wall behind him. Throughout all of this, however, the taller troll kept a neutral expression on as best he could, crinkling his eyes every time the nerves in his hands were hit with the vibrations. Before the wall of attacks could continue long, however, the lanky troll simply jumped back till his back felt the wall, at which the expression that he had been keeping melted off to the bizarre and passionate smile that ruptured from inside him.
The shorter troll immediately stopped moving forward as he felt a sneaking feeling of dread creep up his neck like an intangible claw that slid over his neck. The lanky troll began to spin his staff at great speed around him, almost creating a solid shield of bone that mesmerized some of the trolls in the audience while he moved it around his body in some sort of bizarre dance before slamming it on the ground while jumping forward lightly. The result? His whole body was sent lurching forward toward his opponent who balanced quickly while he tried to bring his hammers up to block the attack, but it was for naught as the lankier troll was already slamming his staff down upon the shorter troll¡¯s head.
A loud crunching sound resulted, as the eyes of the shorter troll popped out of his shattered and severely indented skull. As the blood flushed out of him and splattered his killer, it simply seeped into his skin and weapon as he licked his lips catching a small amount of blood that reached his lips and tasting it as it slowly was absorbed into his body. Though he was brought out of his ecstasy as the sound of cheers from the audience died down and instead the small sounds of gasping from younger trolls filled the atmosphere. He turned his head around to find A large black panther already mid-jump and aiming for his throat. His eyes widened as it''s maw slowly wrapped around the nape of his neck, biting down with its immense muscles that fired off its massive teeth.
As the razor-sharp canines started to cut through flesh, they quickly reached the bone, where the power of its true power, came through. The bones of his neck quickly became fractured and while they didn''t shatter, they certainly did send out a loud crack. The panther completed its jump with the limp body of the troll in its mouth, but though the crowd let out a collective sigh at the loss of a good gladiator, but as the troll above started to speak once more, he was interrupted by the sound of loud roaring and a collective gasp from the audience both caught him by surprise as he looked down into the pit. Though what he saw caused him to freeze up.
The troll who had just been seemingly killed by Panther had managed to shove his hands into the panther''s eye while it''s guard was down. It wasn''t just a finger, he had managed to shove about halfway up his forearm into its brain before he slowly pulled out his arm as he was dropped onto the ground. His fingers were coated in long crimson claws that pulsed like a heartbeat, though they quickly began to dissipate into his body again. The troll¡¯s body began to rise, slowly, and in an almost robotic manner with stiff joint movements and odd gestures. He slowly rose, walking towards the opening gate as the cheering rose in quality and quantity from all the fans. Though their appreciation seemed to go unnoticed by the troll who had a neutral expression on, eyes shining with focus. As the cheers were so focused on him, no one noticed the bodies of the panther and troll slowly drying up. Slowly, but surely. Though, who would notice such a small act?
Blood
(1st person pov)
I was walking back from that shit show of a fight, forcing my blood to keep my body moving without the help of my muscles. I was especially having trouble with the spiral staircase that seemed endless to my mind at the moment. I could barely even do that as my abilities were weak right now, and untrained. After all, I had only picked up the ability a week ago. As I walked back down the hallways I continued to see guards who had been posted watching me, eagle-eyed and wary, but not attacking as they knew that I wasn''t going to mess around. I quickly found my room, naught but a hole in the wall with a gate and doorway to separate it from that of an actual hole. The room only has a bed to sleep on, a few tikis in the corner to practice with, and a bucket in the corner to use the bathroom. Though the ample space made it far better than the cage that I had once been locked into all those months ago. As I walked into it, the familiar clank of a gate being shut soon followed as I sat down.
In the many months since my imprisonment, I had learned a great many things. 1. That I was incredibly stupid, as you don''t HAVE to be a slave in order to participate in the Gladiator pit. I had thought that it was like the Roman coliseum where it was only slaves. I had essentially pissed off an official of the empire, and forsaken my own freedom to participate in this. I could only sigh at my inexperience. I might have been trained to do it, but I never had to. Not before now. 2. It seemed that the pits had been more popular as of late, with increased viewing from the public and increased fights as a result. 3. There was a lot more to the actual fights than I had thought. There were more technicals to think about and I didn''t get an option to who I fought. There is also my Master.
I couldn''t help but feel anger at the thought. Someone who holds power above me, someone who controls the freedom that I have. I hate having anything of mine restricted. He holds the ability to kill me off with just an order should I stop bringing in money or he could just sell me off to another once I had produced all I could. It''s not a good life, and it''s certainly not the one I had been hoping for. I could only sigh at my past mistakes, regretting them for but a moment, before the pain of my injuries pulled me back into the real world.
It wasn''t anything too worrisome, as my natural regeneration would allow me to stay alive and easily regenerate, but the pain was still real. And having the muscles in your arms and neck completely torn apart is really painful. I managed to keep my body moving using some of my natural talents in blood magic to move. Though the feeling of having a broken neck isn¡¯t too great either. That panther had a good deal of muscle in its jaws to be able to do that, as most big cats aim for the large veins and arteries rather than break bone.
As I waited for my body to heal and my bones to fix, I thought about my plan. I was only there to get public support. Nothing more, nothing less. I had been doing a rather good job if i''m being honest, as there were more than a few groups of people who had approached me about benefits if I did more fights. And who am I to reject such proposals? It''s the only reason that I had managed to get out of that cage and into a slightly better prison. One such was a troll noble of sorts, if they even existed, who had a great amount of backing. He offered me the choice to stay in the cage, with horrible food and no time to myself, or to stay in a better place for the price of him choosing who I battle.
It was barely even a choice, Had I said no, there would have been repercussions to pay. Connections can do a great deal after all. So I said yes. Though I must admit, there have been more than a few times I have regretted it. However, I did get the benefit of having more space, which is incredibly helpful for some of the things I have planned. I had to use it to my full advantage. I continued to work upon my own body, ever so slightly widening my veins here or there, clearing them out so that I wouldn¡¯t have blockages, bringing more nutrients to certain areas of my body to build up the muscles there, and making them grow larger than their predecessors.
My skills with magic were mostly passive as of now, as there was not much I could do without having other bodies around me to use. I needed time and sacrifices that I could not yet request. Besides, even If I was ballsy enough to request that, there is no telling whether or not I would actually be given that. The gurubashi had been on the decline for centuries, and only recently due to Hakkar have they actually begun to make progress with their empire. If my memory serves correctly, the gurubashi had already begun conquering a few years back, They had expanded quite a bit but they weren''t quite at the level that the civil war would break out. I would say that at least another year before that happens. I thought as my mind struggled to remember dates.
I quickly give up, however as I begin to focus on my next step. I bit into my finger, quickly drawing blood from it before I began to pull it out of my body with my magic. I wove the blood around me like water, twisting and twirling it till I had enough. I then began to use the blood as both the paint and brush for my next work of art. I painted the ground around me with my own body as the center, crafting red crimson runes while my second half of mind went back to the reservoir of blood that I had pulled from my victims in the arena. I had managed to pull it out of their bodies when no one was looking, and slowly seep it through the ground so it would reach me later.
I had done this almost every time that I won a fight, pulling down to me. As such, the path was familiar and worn with a small hole in the roof as the access point. I pulled it through like a long red noodle, gathering it into one spot above my body. It was a slow and gruesome process, but by the end, I had managed to gather a large ball in front of me the size of a gym ball while the runes were slowly finishing up. I quickly began the ritual, wording as quickly and concisely as I could while the runes began to glow and the ball of blood shrunk. As time passed me by, and the sweat dripped into my brow as the repeated chants continued ever onwards, and the ball was not much more the size of a tennis ball and containing large streaks of black in the crimson, and the runes were glowing bright enough to light up both my room and the hall in front of it, I began to come to a close. I slowed down, and the last changes were made to the blood, completely changing the color to black, with hints of red here and there. The runes stopped glowing, and the once crimson blood that made up its source was now almost a dredge, seemingly mixed with pollution. The marble-sized ball of blood dropped down to my hand, where I caught it. I examined it, looking at its crystalline and hard exterior while attempting to observe it''s interior.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
I nodded my head in satisfaction, but I couldn''t feel like were it not for the tax that He had imposed, it would have been much bigger. I ignored that thought though, before placing the marble in between two of my molars and crunching down on it. I felt my mouth explode from non-existent heat, like magma, that began to travel down my throat and throughout my whole body, never giving up any heat as it''s essence spread through my body, and through each vein and artery. All I could do was hold my body in place, trembling while the pain subsided. I felt the involuntary breath that I had taken in when I started, easing its way out of my body in a mist-like cloud. I watched as the white mist floated for a moment before disappearing, and with it my hard work in the arena.
Though the physical evidence of my work and triumphs disappeared, I could feel the inner mechanisms just fine as they worked on my body and processed it. It was an incredible yet horrible feeling working. I could feel the cells multiplying quickly as my muscles were ripped and built up again slowly, giving my body an extra layer of firepower and defense. The ritual itself is almost perfect, a gift from Him above, were it not for the fact that it almost completely drained my energy from my body, and the lights produced are very bright. It helped build my physicality while also clearing my body so I can practice my magics more easily and freely. I felt myself starting to collapse, so I forced my eyes open, my body straight, as I stared straight out of my cell, and into the hall which I had come to know so well by now.
I could hear footsteps, coming slowly and heavily down the hall. The slight shuffling and movement of armor telling me that they belong to some sort of warrior. I waited till the footsteps revealed a large troll who stared down upon me with an almost sadistic grin. He shared the same blue as I, but instead of the light cloth and leather armor I used to protect myself, he wore heavy metal-plated armor, which glinted red in the light. This was the man whom I was forced to bow my head to the creature who ¡°Owned¡± me.
¡°Dat was a good fight mon, ya nearly lost it doe.¡± He spoke like some all-mighty troll, who had complete control in the world around him, but he held nothing. He was merely a small-time lord. He had managed to gain some lands after profitable raids across the area.
¡°Ya be doin well, I tink ya can do betta though.¡± As he finished up his sentence, his impossibly wide grin seemed to only grow larger, as his eyes widened too. I heard more footsteps coming swiftly down the halls racing closer as I felt dread creep up on my shoulder like a lithe claw of the void. A few guardsmen came upon the gate before it was opened and they flooded in closing down on my limbs to hold me still while He simply stood there watching, before reaching to his neck and pulled out an amulet. It was held by a bronze chain that led down to a ruby the size of my eye, glistening with hints of blue flickering on the inside as if something was inside the ruby, being contained.
¡°I be tinkin, what could make ya stronga, quicka? And I couldn''t help but tink of dis. A good friend of mine offered it to me, as a gift for gettin to where I be. It be supposed to make ya stronga, but it takes some gettin used to. I don''t be using it anymore, but you can.¡± and with that final word, he strode towards me, amulet in hand, before turning the ruby, now glowing like fire, towards my chest and pressing it against it.
My chest lit up in pain, like fire which had oil dropped on it in pain, causing my muscles to seize up, my chest to constrict fast enough to keep me from letting out a howl of pain, and my molars began grinding themselves to dust. I was ripped from my exhaustion as my body immediately set to work on pumping adrenaline through my body and attempting to heal the injury. But as I did so, I could see him still pushing the amulet further into my chest, each inch revealing another tank of gasoline on the fire, and pushing me more towards the edge.
Though it soon stopped, as on my chest now lay the back of the amulet and all around the area of insertion sprouted both large and small vessels glowing red and pumping like veins and arteries of a heart. Oddly enough, after the pain faded, it began to feel better. Almost relaxing as it nestled inside my chest. And then it hit.
Not pain, but something else. Almost realization, but spiritually. Its presence calmed me down, and hyped me up at the same time, while I felt almost cleansed. But it only lasted seconds, before it began to recede and something else came from inside me pushing it back, wreaking havoc and destruction in its wake. I felt the same cursed blood that had been inside me fight the amulet, attempting to reject it, attempting to rid itself from the amulet''s presence.
I could feel it, deep within my gut. Something was going to happen. And my fate would lie in the balance.
(Droyun POV)
I let my smile die down, the experiment was a success. Though how major or minor would show itself in a little while. I had my men let go of him, I could tell by the haze in his eyes that he would put up no more resistance. I quickly left, mentally noting down the changes that might overtake him. Unfortunately, past subjects had proved most of them to be negative. Excessive bleeding, lack of bone density, excessive muscle mass, shattering of bones, implosion, and explosion, etc. but the few effects that had proven themselves to be worth the trial and error were far too large to pass up. Increased mass, in bones, muscle, and everything else. Increased affinity to the loa was another major benefit. Though how it did so, remains a mystery.
I couldn''t help the feelings of excitement running through my body, like lightning running along a pole flickering dangerously. I couldn''t wait for him to wake, I wanted to see exactly what would happen.
As I walked down the patted ground, I could only wonder. I was ready for it though. I felt no fear for the future, for experimentation and discovery lay ahead ripe for the taking, and so I would.
I chuckled darkly, the only thought crossing my mind, Things are about to get interesting.
