    I reach the crabs as make a sharp turn and they 2 groups meet each other.


    The eels are stronger than the 2 and 4 armed crabs it seems as they are tearing through them despite taking damage.


    rrrrr the sea flore is shaking, a big eel is coming to help them, the crabs are beating on their claws making loud noises, the huge crab with 6 claws runs over pretty quick who knew a crab could be that fast and kills the normal eels.


    The big eel lunges at it but the crab defends with 1 big claw like a shield as it takes the smaller claws and holds it down, the eel swing its tail though and smashes the left side of the body sending cracks along the body


    The crab is still standing and crushes the eel with 2 big claws, as it throws the eel down it then crushes the head and starts eating it.

    The predators are gone for now but I still need safety.

    This reef really has lots of life though, I see sea insects, snails, mollusks, sea stars and lots of different plants, the big reefs must be amazing.

    I bring my fellow fish and to start eating the corals, plankton, algae and surrounding plants.

    I wonder if I should get gluttony or not, needing to eat alot might be bad if I can''t find food.


    Fasting would be good to counteract, yeah I''ll go with fasting first so I''ll hold my appitite for now.


    Taking a few more poison shots and I''m really hungry now with the energy used but I have to endure it.

    The obvious places are in the coral itself or dig in the sand, ah the night is so dangerous since I''ll need to sleep.

 Chapter 3 - Dreadful Night

    It''s becoming night, I''m hungry and sleepy but it''s too dangerous.


    ''gulp'' some fish got eaten again by other fish, the constant threat is heavy in the wild huh.


    There should be fish creatures who can break the coral so I don''t want to stay there so I''ll dig in sand.


    This area doesn''t look like it''ll have that many predators so I should be safe.


    The other baby fishes went inside the coral after I made them help me dig the sand, it''s not deep at all but spread thin so I can move in the sand a bit while still seeing what''s happening.


    It''s dark now but there''s light thanks to the moon, 3 moons it seems, 2 the size of my earth moon and a big one that''s 5 times the size.


    The tide effect must be huge since they are all relatively near each other, I''m not seeing much change in the ocean height either so I must not be anywhere near a landmass.

    And so the night ends, I just nibble on some plants quickly and go bac to hiding just in case.


    You can eat during fasting of course, it''s not like starvation, the difference is that fastin is done willingly and you can eat a bit to sustain yourself for long fasting, starvation is just dying from hunger it''s not really a choice.

 Chapter 4 - Arriving at a City

    ''Oi'' I yell out, my fellow fish get out of their hiding place and gather to me slowly

    We head out to the south and I notice some other fishes following us, they''re not predators so I guess it''s fine, maybe my command affected them too.


    The crabs are to the east and the shrimp are to the west, heading there would be closer to land probably since crustaceans also go on land but I can''t get past them and I''m a fish so land won''t do me any good anyways.


    I say the directions but I don''t really know if they''re right since I don''t have a compass.


    It''s been 2 hours and so far so good, we''re still in the coral reef though but we''re slow.

 Chapter 5 - Small Whale Expedition

    It''s been 2 week since coming to the mega city, the fishes have grown some but I''m still small due to the fasting.


    Lots of whales come on go, small and medium ones are just let go by themselves as training of sorts.


    Big whales get several merman guards, huge ones get even more merman plus vicious looking sea creatures like [sea dragons] [sea serpants] [orcas] and vehiclestoo since they carry alot of stuffand are ten times the size of a normal whale.


    I haven''t seen gigantic types of whales but they should be there too, those must be saved for really important moments or they''re going out on the other sides of the dome.


    Seeing this I don''t think I''ll ever be able to win if I fight, I need another route to keep myself save but I can''tnegotiate or bargain as I am now since I''m too weak to defend myself.


    There''s nothing I can do here so Iwant to go another city, one less military oriented.


    The big and huge whales are likely heading to other dome cities but I can''t follow them and I don''t want to risk leaving the safety of this place either, I can only wait some more.


    2 more weeks pass, it''s been a month since I turned into a fish, it''s not the easy life I was imagining if I ever got reincarnated.


    The other fishes are now medium sized since last week and I''ve been having them fight each other as training.

    Me and the fishes get on near its backside and hold on as we pile on each other, they''re biger now so we can handle riding on on a whale.


    We reach the coral reef and keep going, I notice something hiding far away, it was orange?


    Could it be the crab from before? what''s it doing here? oh no it''s big enough to easily kill this whale.


    I head up to the whale with my fishes and swim around eyes, it starts shaking but we continue until all the whales become confused, we go back near the backside and hold on tighter.


    The crabs come out and the whales notice it and swim away fast.


    The gigantic crab manages to kill 4 of them with its air slashes as a feeding frenzy begins with the food stuffs falling to the ground.


    trtrtrtrt gun like sounds ring out and 2 whales beside us dies from the mantis shrimp barrage.


    The last whale we are on manages to get away since it wasn''t swimming up front and it goes back to the city at full speed.


    It arrives and we get off, I control the surrounding fishes again, I''d say there''s about a hundred fish now.

 Chapter 6 - Holy Fish

    I''ve slowly been eating for the last week since eating too much after fasting would be bad.

 Chapter 8 - Darkness Sharks

    I see lots of eggs laid around, the fish are breeding as expected.


    I won''t stay though since I''m not risking the night time but man these whale rides take a long time, hours upon hours for each trip.


    Things go as planned and I swiftly get some baby fishes as I avoid the predators.


    Nearing the gigantic crab''s region I see alot more crabs, I guess they bred last season but I won''t enslave them incase it comes for revenge.


    I have 6000~ fish now after a few weeks.


    As we head back down as usual I notice dozens of shark creatures.

    The whales are hurt but we''ll make it in time so none will die this time, that darkness spot is great though, you can get darkness powers just by being in it which is likely due to the magical area itself producing darkness and the strong darkness creatures pumping out more of it though I wonder what will happen if the surface breaks and it all dissipates into the vast ocean.


    Also how did that cave form underwater this deep? it might be something similar but with earth magic, I''d like to get more attributes just to have variety.

    Heh, nice I''ll keep thinking now too but I don''t want that skill where you divide your mind into separate parts to handle the magic/skills better, I want to be myself, no mutiple head forms either for me.


    Whales arrive at the mega city and we get off like usual.


    I only take several hundred fish with me so I have time to escape if needed since bringing everyone would be too much.

 Chapter 9 - Fish Sizes

    Day 120 now, some troops went out probably scouting ones.


    Huge snakes and manta rays accompanied by mermen to be exact, after all this time looking I can say that that with each growth the size after medium/normal it increases by 5 times the previous one, it''s magic like evolution since a creature shouldn''t get this big normally.

    The actual sizes of the creatures vary, the 20 feet gigantic crab I met must be half as small than a regular crab so even when it evolved it didn''t get as big as it should have gotten, this also counts for being bigger than normal.


    The sizes are just me categorizing them and it shouldn''t be limited to gigantic since a fish should be able to get bigger but for most species already big I doubt they can get bigger without running into problems due to the mass size which means a bigger target though I don''t know how big this word''s ocean is.

    Noone else stands out so far, the sea snake still isn''t at full strenght since I can''t be certain my control of it will stay but he isn''t starving anymore atleast.

    Looks like they evolved, is this a fast rate for fish? well we have good food sources and the water isn''t that bad.


    More and more evolve, nothing special in terms of skills except for the that biting fish, I''ll call it Metal Head Fish for now.

    It''s teeth has gotten less sharp since it''s focusing on biting instead of ripping its opponent apart.


    The thick skin is more apparent around it''s head and neck area, almost like a metal helmet since it''s kind of gray looking.


    I can guide their evolution right? feeding and making them do things will let them evolve into specialized fish.

 Chapter 10 - Lightning Jellyfish

    I''ve made all the fish fight and compete in swimming and ordered the stronger and fastest ones to eat more, that should be enough to trigger some specialized evolution.


    Metal head fish is sparring with the big sea snake and it''s been eating alot lately.


    I''ve fed the snake more too, all of my skills are practiced so I should be able to handle controlling it.


    More and more fish are getting big and I have a decent size now but I don''t know what to do with them, I can''t go out my usual routes since I''m not risking it, the only thing to do is wait.


    175th day and I have 4 more metal head fish and almost a hundred big fish who are got the [stamina] and [rush] skill, it gives a sudden boost in speed with a sonic boost like effect.


    They''re longer on top of being bigger, 2 times as long, and have a smoother head, no other notable difference.

 Chapter 11 - Fall

    200th day now, it seems the summer is starting to end so this world''s seasons go on a 100~ day rotation it seems.


    I arrived in spring I assume, fall''s affect on ocean? I have no idea but i don''t think it''s that bad maybe less fish since spring and summer breeding periods are over and there will be less light.


    I have no goal for now, just waiting it out and building up my skills, I''ve gained more over these weeks by sparring and practicing mostly those that I''ve already seen.

    Weeks pass and I see the first gigantic whale coming out, it truly is gigantic, almost as big as the whole wall of the megacity, it must be several skyscrapers big and it''s horizontal lenght must be over10 thousand meters.


    It''s guards are fierce too, hundreds of huge devil looking snakes and monster fishes of all kinds led by a dozen gigantic swordfish and there''s some octopus sticking to the whale too.


    There has to be some kind of controlling skill or spell used, no way those things would listen obediently.


    Suddenly the whales eyes look at me, wow could the whale actually be the one controlling them? I wouldn''t doubt it, maybe the octopus are helping too since they seem to be smart, alliances should be a thing even down in the ocean.

    I want to go but obviously they will be dealing with dangerous things, the environment alone would kill me not to mention whatever skills they have.


    The whale could control me too now that I think about it, I need to do something about that but how do you gain control resistance without being under it? having mind and spirit skills should help, otherwise just overpower it with pure magic resistances.


    Days pass and the group is back, the whale is carrying and dragging several times it''s weight in food and other things without touching the sea floor.


    Psychic skills I assume, can I get that by just growing I wonder since the whale should have gotten it through the sheer size of its brain.


    More whales head out, it seems they are saving food for winter.


    Weeks go by and the megacity is getting quiet, seems like something is going to happen since everyone leaving.


    They are abandoning it and going downwards so I can sort of picture my location now.


    If this area freezesthen it must be close to the polar regions or some ice magic zones which expand outwards in winter.


    Doesn''t seem likely though since coral reefs are near the shorelines.


    The reef I know is not in the middle of the ocean since I would have noticed it''s an atoll from riding on the whales and seeing its circular shap, it''s a fringing or barrier reef.


    I haven''t seen any ships either so I''m near a land that has harsh winter but not in the south pole or near the north pole.


    I''m in the middle or east/west side of the world with no civilization that can make ships, maybe a monster area not conquered yet.


    Could also be that the merman break all of them.


    It''s getting colder by the week and I head upwards to see the reef.


    Everything is calm like every creature is preparing is for hibernation but underwater.


    Looking closer I notice that groups creatures all have some food saved up and aren''t really asleep.


    It''s like a semi hibernation with them preparing to wait out the winter.


    The eel and shrimp spots have been taken by the crabs, seemsthey all migrated away, the eels further out and the shirmps inland.


    I''ve been saving food too of course, every area I control has an decent stash of food all around.


    I''m waiting for the merman to leave more and try to get in when they open the gate once more.

 Chapter 12 - Festival and Royal Princess

    275th day, I can feel the slaves locations and degree of control more though I haven''t gained new skills.


    Titles are like an all around general skill that keeps getting more usefull but you can still branch out around it like holy slave master.


    I''ve been able to heal and strike harder with the monk title too so it must be this.


    Several days later and more whales start arriving but instead of the usual merman there''s mermaids, non soldier merman and pets? the fish and other creatures are dressed up, these mers are rich.


    The cold''s effect reach very far to drive off the creatures if this megacity is now not dangerous enough to fully protect.


    There might be more arriving but the city is still pretty empty since it''s huge, it could be like a winter vacation area.


    I might not get in after all.


    Continuing practicing with some fish, I send most away and kept the strongest with me, about 500 scattered around the area with the big sea snake, metal heads and fast fish being the best.


    I do feel slaves disappearing, I can''t do anything about them being eating since I have too many controlled but they aren''t being eaten in mass so no strong predator is around who can feast on whole areas.


    The whales aren''t going anywhere anymore so I have to go myself to the areas which I''m not doing.


    Some more mers arrive by the day until one day a gigantic whale appears in the area I''m at, it''s even more well guarded than the other one I saw leaving for hunting.


    This has to be royalty.


    I go up and to see further and they head right into the middle of the city where there''s a huge castle.


    I go back to waiting since there''s nothing I can do anyways.


    Some big whales with some guards each are heading out now with lots of mers on board a room put on the center whale, it''s surrounded by magic too like a round barrier, seems they are doing something.


    I follow in invisibilty of course and my fish ride on the whales in the back carrying stuff.


    They head north west and don''t go up or down, it looks like the north and west areas are almost barren with no fish and they put all the stuff down in a huge radius.

    Me and the fish eat them with thanks to the holy god, I also pray sometimes since I learned about that god''s blessings part, I need to be thankful I''m still alive.


    I''m noticing more plants are growing despite the cold, is that algea and plankton? there''s more krills around too.


    I find themupwards aswell, the nutrients from down below are coming up due to the colder surface, that must be the reasoning.


    This place isn''t safe then even in cold waters, the fish used to cold must be coming later.


    There''s something blue growing from ground too like a bunch of tentacles with needles on it, it''s defininetly some magical thing.


    I holy ray it to ash so it doesn''t become a threat just in case.


    And so my first winter in this world fully commences.

 Chapter 14 - Winter begins

    Day 300 and winter is here, not that bad here since we''re not in the really cold regions, still pretty cold though.


    I''ve been eating alot since there''s more food and I''m about 5 times fatter than the rest of the fish.


    I look bloated but I hope the evolution will take care of this by distributing the weight evenly.


    Weeks pass and nothing''s happening except for the increase in plankton, algae, krill, snails, small fish and sea insects, worms.


    I see something now on the coral reef side, bigger fish are arriving and some have sea lampreys on them sucking their blood.


    Some of the hiding spots in the reef have been taken too, there are no crabs in them anymore but I can tell there''s something in them.


    ''sigh'' the wild really is a constant war.


    [huge sea snake] oh, my snake has evolved, it''s as big as 12 foot man (3.74 meter) and several times longer.


    I think the control is still in place, should keep it at a distance just in case though.


    Back near the city and the snake can take on every fish there at once despite being a normal snake and having no special skills, my holy ray still affects it atleast.


    The guards have been noticing us too but don''t do anything.


    Since it is a snake once it eats a lot it won''t eat again for a long time so its appitete won''t be a big problem.


    The gigantic whale is going out again, I don''t get any psychic message so is the princess staying?


    This could be a chance to go in after I evolve once more, I begin eating more and more.


    I''ve never really hunted since I enslave them all instead, I guess I''ve eaten some of the slow non fish creatures but I don''t consider that hunting.


    I swell up to 10 times the size I usually should be at and I''ve been using my holy ray and bullets to kill creatures and suspicious growth spots too.


    I''m getting more confident, in the day there aren''t many dangerous creatures around even less in the cold.

    They''ve been putting down walls and magic items too along the festival outskirts forming magic bloackades, you never know when something strong could come around.


    It''s a big area so not every spot is covered but the ones that aren''t have extra guards around.


    The most powerful guards are with the most important individuals.


    Watching them defend the place is a good pass time too.


    Days pass when [huge holy fish] I evolved

    Offerings increase my holy power, the holy part is because it''s not done out of forcefulness which should give it''s own skills.


    I can affect others with my holy skills like recovery so I can give others a mark, I can track them it seems.


    Holy weapon maker, I can make weapons out of the holy energy, any shape I can think off but it has to be a weapon, this seems easy enough to branch out of and I quickly got other skills [holy object maker] [holy body projection] acquired


    Not just weapons now but normal objects and I can make body parts from the holyness too like giant arms or head even project a human body of holy energy.


    The next day I receive a summons from the princess in the form of a psychic message.


    I accept this time.

 Chapter 15 - Mega City Inside

    I was summoned to the royal palace by the princess Mermi Mermaid, I only accepted since a gigantic whale and lots of mermen left sometime ago.


    Still I don''t want to be seen so I enter with invisibility on as some guards come to get me.


    We go through the small gate, it seems there''s no other entrances even for the mermen, only ones ranging from small to gigantic whales sizes.


    Passing through and seeing the upper/bottom and the backside of the gates and dome give me a good idea how they''re put together.


    The gates are green, 2km thick and 5km tall, they are placed outisde of the dome.


    Both the gate and dome open when the whales need to pass through.


    The gate lifts up upwards, fairly fast otherwise of course or it would take too long to to do anything.


    The dome opens in a circle, the part that opens up is displaced on the backside then goes back when they need to close it.


    I don''t know if it''s magic but doesn''t seem so for either of them, some mechanisms for the dome and pure pulling power from other creatures for the gate,the whales and structure sizes put off your size expectations but the creatures pulling are gigantic crabs and other power fish that are only 30~ meters big.


    The megacity is surounded full by a dome going down all the way into the ground, using my radar I see the dome edges down from 1 to 2 km seperating into many plank like shapes and all crossing each other in a somewhat horizontal path.


    I don''t see a big space for the huge and gigantic whales either so they don''t stay here but the space is big enough for them to rest and sleep.


    The smaller whales can fit in the city freely and you see them swimming around.


    There''s other things down there too, pillars and some big round and square shapes around the area where the dome planks are.

    Oh, I got this so those things must be some sort of magical devices powering the dome, a normal dome can''t defend from all the creatures afterall.


    I can see magical readings now, I see that the soldier mermen have mana, it''s like an energy wave coming from them.


    The stronger their mana the more intense and/or bigger it is.

    They still have to be mining rare areas I assume but it''s not their main way of producing their materials.


    The white pillars are made from oxygen and silicon minerals so some sort of quarts, it conducts the magic well and i guess it releases oxygen? the dome is closes after all


    They should have circulation somehow, maybe the gates opening and closing is enough to keep the city flowing.


    The more I see and the houses and facilities are are made from these too.


    There''s large areas for processing everywhere, this might not be a military city but a production city.


    The resources they harvest are brought here anddivided, distributed and more processes added like that factory over there which is adding coating of other minerals to things and infusing them with fire or magic.


    The supply whales must be for this reason, they are supplying areas with food to help the plants and creatures do their thing and reap the benefits later.


    It''s ocean agriculture.


    It will take a while to get the palace since the city is so huge so the mermen and me get on a huge fish and they cast magic to stay on.


    The fish is fast and we arrive in 20, this is like a taxi service the citizens must use these too.

 Chapter 16 - Royal Palace Rendezvous

    We make it to the big palace, it''s not as big as a gigantic whale''s lenght so I''d say 2km is a good estimate for how tall it is.


    It looks like a giant church with a 5 giant pointed towers, 4 at the cardenal directions and one at the middle.


    It''s black green in color so I check, it''s actually magic obsidian.


    I thought it''s just to be fancy since it''s build with magic resource, the magic part in front of the name means it naturally contains magic, it must be found in a zone with high magic and the area and things in it get magic atribute by just being there, this is how I should gain magic it seems


    The obsidian should have more use than just looking pretty since it was chosen over other materials, I assume it conducts magic better than what other mass available material there is though there should be better ones that aren''t available in mass.


    I enter the palace and it''s what you excpet, shiny and expensive things everywhere.


    There''s also hole passage ways to swim through.


    I''m escorted to the princess''s room quickly without meeting anyone else because Im still invisible, it seems it''s a secret meeting.


    I arrive to the 3rd floor and there''s a row of imprtant looking rooms, the security is better right in the middle of the building after all.


    There''s a room with big gold door and some with a ruby door or symbols on them, while most of the others are silver and look the same.


    Depends on how often they come the more personalized the rooms are.


    The gold door belongs to the princess so she has to have come here often.


    The guards open it up and I go inside, the guards can''t see me but they know I pass thorugh instinct or something and close the door.


    I notice the door is not only big but thick too and the entirety of this room''s walls is gold.


    It could be it''s own base defense.


    Hello holy fish thank you for coming says the princes as she bows and tucks up her dresses''s sides like princesses do.


    She''s wearing a white and red dress with mostly white on top and red on the bottom, her tail has accessories too like golden and jewel bracelets.

    One is white and the other is dark skinned and both their tail are light blue like the princess, related I assume though one of them is dark, the birth process must be different than humans afterall.


    They seem to have some weapons too by their skirt waists, magical daggers, battle maids? well that should be common for royalty.

    The 4 continents are called the star continents because they are lined up like a 4 sided star and the middle is dangerous for sea creatures since you surrounded by all 4 at once though there is alot of space to escape, it''s called the star chokepoint.


    The giant continent is even more dangerous since they hunt large sea creatures regularly in their boats.


    We are currently near the eastern star continent but on the opposite side so not in the star chokepoint.''

    The up ones also affect others so it''s a good skil, it can likely be done more than once too so it stacks ontop of each other.


    Iarrive back and time to think of something.

 Chapter 19 - Baiting

    It''s day 340 almost time to head out with the princess but I don''t have anything to entertain her.


    I''ve been training and messing around with the holy making skills and I''ve come with something, I make an object like a human or fish then make a weapon for it like a sword, I had to control it with the holy projection maker making a holy thread attached to the objects while projecting some hands since it''s just an object I made so it can''t move so there has to be a holy line connected to them, psychic isn''t good enough to move them yet.


    Doing that gave me [puppeteer title]


    I can control it better now and I''m good enough to fight some big fish although it''s no match for the huge fishes, I can reattach the holy line too if it''s cut off by something.


    The next day I meet up with the princess in the afternoon, her maids and guards, the maids could come since it''s a festival and it''s guarded.


    Princess is wearing a white fur coat while maids and guards are wearing something like skin, now that I notice it all soldiers are wearing some sort of skin, leather, scale, it keeps you slightly warm and protects you at the same time I guess which is a must for guard duty.


    The fesitval stretches out towards the north and northwest side andit''s pretty calm since this is near a production city and it''s a rich folks area.


    The plan is to just bait some fish actually, it will be a good way to show her how dangerous the wild is.


    I take us to the farthest ends of the festival near the guardposts, it seems they have been doing the fasting since they have a big box of food and they are staring heavily at the food stalls.


    It would be better at night but I don''t want to attract anything too strong and the princess has a curfew.


    There''s a strong guard there who looks likea veteran, he''s buff and has a brown tail and brown beard, also wearing brown scales.


    I tell them I''m going to bait out fish and everyone is a little worried but I assure them it''s fine.


    The maids bring out 1/3rd of the food and puts it at a distance, it''s mostly spoiled so the smell calls out the fish.


    I use my skill and make holy objects in the shape of mermaids and move them, everyone is shocked and in awe as I move them with around the food but not too close.


    After several minutes some fish arrive, regular fish that look like cod, herring, more food is thrown and char fish appear.


    The princess is excited with her eyes glowing and she orders more food to be brought.


    As more is thrown further away we see something arrive, sardines? a school of white sardines with lots of big and huge ones too.

    It looks so dangerous says the princess who''s grabbing onto the maids.


    The veteran merman is telling everyone to get ready, what are they worried about?


    Suddenly the black fish lunges towards us, it''s really aggressive.


    The veteran chimes in and says it''s related to the merdemons but its blood has been deluded alot so it does not have a demonic or humanoid form but still retains some power and it''s aggressiveness, they are their own race now you can say so we just call them demon fish.


    I move my holy fish objects to attack but they get destroyed fast with one hit one after the other.


    The fish arrives as I make a holy wall over the wall posts and it goes to the merman guards.


    They all fire magic blasts but miss, they keep their attack with their tridents and defend with their magic barriers.


    The fish''s tail attacks manage to hurt several of them while the veteran can''t get close to finish it off.


    I surround them with my holy powers and trap them all in while healing them with my holy healing.


    They''re surprised but get themselves together and go on, it takes 5 min for the fish to tire out and the veteran finally kills it by severing it in half with [weapon magic slash]


    More fish are arriving and it''s getting late so I send those I can control away and the other bigger fish follow.


    ELIZA BETH, THAT WAS SO SCARY


    The princess is almost in tears as the maids comfort her, yes it was strong however us 2 could have still beaten it says Beth.


    The merman are celebrating their win and they''re spraying something green too, what''s that?


    Eliza says it''s a type of algae, it''s to absorb the blood quickly so big predators don''t smell it and arrive.


    The algae absorbs the blood and drifts off into the distance.


    The veteran arrives and thanks me for the help, he''s called Phil and the fish will be eaten by the guards, when it''s not edible for them it''s fed to other creatures the soldiers ride.


    We end the day and everyone goes back, the guards too since they work on shifts of 4 - 2 for the day and 2 at night.

 Chapter 20 - Item/Gear Ranks

    You can buy low to super on the market however most super are kept by the military, they also make their own by imbueding materials with magic.


    Items and weapons are also naturally created in ocean and are ranked too but very powerful ones are legendary and they are all kept by royalty until needed, some are found and used by sea creatures and surface dwellers too, the sea creatures especially are a major threat if they find a legendary one and use it knowingly or not.''


    I don''t have hands so I hold the speed item with psychic skill and put the tail ring on but it all of a sudden falls off.


    I try again and it won''t go on, the girls help to but nothing.


    The girls think and Beth says it''s likely due to my attribute and skills, ''there are cases some can''t equip items and gear because they have gone too far into their specilized build, even more so with the holy attribute since it is gifted by the gods.''

    I do want to explore the ocean but it''s too dangerous, I can die at any moment if I go swimming around, getting bigger should solve this I guess altough I can''t fit in buildings anymore.

 Chapter 21 - Bathroom and Riding

    Another day visiting the princess and I notice something, a bathroom? mermaids are coming from it and I hear flushing.


    Hey I never went nr 1 or 2 did I? I think none of the fish did either.


    I ask the princess, ''why fish don''t go to the bathroom? hmm they just don''t, it''s a combination of mana and the gods doings don''t worry about it, oh and purer mermaids like us don''t need to go the bathroom either, the mana compensates for it.''

    I''ve been thinking of what to train them in and came up with riding skills, it should be easy enough.

    Eeh people riding on me, it seems degrading somewhat, now I know what prideful monsters feel like when they''re ridden but I could also get skills from being ridden.


    ''okay be sure to ride other creatures as well since riding them forcefully will also get you skills that have to due with control''


    We go outside and they hop onto me, the maids bring out some sort of saddle but for fish.

    They land on me and I start riding, I''m only the size of a nromal shark now so about the same as the mermaids in lenght, they fit on me though.

    The maids get on too since they look liek they want to ride me too.


    swoosh, I ride normally and also use boost to go faster


    I make them all fall off at my max speed while shaking like a bull too hehe.


    They all got [rider], they can ride better now, seems useless but as the monsters get bigger and faster it will be important.


    I got [mount] simply letting me be a mount, I guess as I go along I can keep more people on and maybe a skill to not let them fall off, speed skills would be good.


    Shaking them off got me [unrideable] it contradicts with the previous one but I am letting them ride not being forced to.


    We keep riding for half an hour and then they head back.


    Day 380 now, winter is ending soon.

 Chapter 22 - Fish Evolution and Setting Off

    I think I understand the evolution now, it triggers with the amount of nourishment you have since none of it is released as waste.


    Even though I ate alot previous to my last evolution Ididn''t keep the weight so the overeating accelerates the evolution most likely, though most fish can''t afford to get fat either or they get eaten fast so surviving by itself will still let you evolve eventually but in a much longer time frame


    Fighting and training your skills should help fasten the evolution time too so 3 things, eating/surviving/skill efficiency.


    There are those that don''t get bigger like the mermaids so thismeans the sea creatures are meant to be eaten, it''s likely the gods made it so to feed the creatures of this big world.


    I''m not that happy about it since I am one of those meant to be eaten, though it should have a limit.


    The evolution can''t go on forever since it will ruin the world, if you get to a certain size maybe you ascend into a higher life form or go back to being smaller but with godly blesssings.


    Day 395, we''ve been going on the fish baiting event for a while now but nothing super aggressive or huge has shown up.


    As we''re going again I notice the princess is sad.


    ''sigh, winter is ending soon and we''ll have to leave when big sis Merli comes pick me up.''

    Eh he''s pretty smart for asoldieror it''s just his experience.


    The group takes off and the maids put a double saddle on me, hey I''m now your ride everytime? well not like it''s a bother really.

 Chapter 23 - Crab Subjugation

    The group isn''t rushing and there''s no fast creatures either so the ride to the reef area will take about 30 minutes.


    I ask the maids while were going there why they have there maid outfits on.


    The princess made these outfits to be battle ready so we can wear them while fighting says Beth.


    ''They don''t seem strong though.''


    Eliza answers, almost every battle outfit/gear is meant to channel mana better anddefend againstelemental attacks or attract it like our gold attracts electric attacks which opens up room for the others to attack.


    No one really uses heavy armor since it slows you down which is guaranteed death for mermen, though there are heavy shields used for big creatures in large mermen formations for fighting big sea creatures and surface dwellers.


    Ships I assume? I ask her, she says yes and that there''s nothing wrong with them fishing but they destroy the reefs and hunt for mermen as well to sell them.


    Whenever their wars calm down on the surface the more they focus on the ocean, though the humans and demons ships aren''t really much of a threat compared to the giants ships.


    Phil hears us and joins in the talk, ''you know the ships aren''t really the problem except for the really strong ships made from rare materials, it''s the magic they use on board.


    Lots of water and wind mages from the most powerful fleets can carve right into the ocean floor and make the whole area their battlefield, especially the giants.


    Of course with lenght of the ocean even the giants get worn out and dangerous sea creatures and schools can wipe out fleets.''


    We continue on and arrive at the location, the half gigantic crab is there and comes out alone.


    Everyone is surpised and Phil says it is more intelligent than even bigger crabs though it''s smaller than normal, around 6 meters/20 feet.


    It knows the rest of the crabs stand no chance so it came alone like a warriorand it looks like it wants a duel.


    Everyone wonders what to do and Phil decides to take it on.


    ''we''ve underestimated it alot, the whales won''t be able to take it over and we''ll lose alot of members if we take it on in a free for all.''


    The others are worried but leave it to Phil since he''s a veteran and the crab is only about 2 and a half times the size of a merman but it is wide with 8 claws and 8 legs.


    Is he that strong? I ask, he''s not that good at magic but he''s experienced so he can take on stronger foes, he''s a warrior type but that means little since the fish are physically stronger than mermen so mana amount and magic control is the most important thing says Eliza.


    Phil goes invisible and charges at the crab, we can''t see anything and the crab is surprised.


    Being invisible doesn''t stop the water from moving though so you can see where something is if it doesn''t do something about the water movement.


    He goes for the eyes while magic boosting his trident but is blocked by a claw, the claw cracks a bit.


    Seeing this Phil attacks again at full strenght while repeatedly upping his power with the [attack up] skill and unleashes a fury of magic enhanced weapon slashes which are all blocked by the crab.


    Its claws will be destroyed at this rate so the crab usesair slices to get time for regeneration but Phil knows that and won''t give it time.


    He dodges the slices with his superior speed and gets closer again but the crab swings wildy and one claw hits Phil though he blocks in time with his small arm shield.


    He''s hurled back and hurt but he can''t afford to slow down his attacks so he casts his magic, from his trident comes out earth.

    He gets close again but this time he straight up blasts the crab with a magic blast from his hand.


    It hits right on his face and it loses an eye.


    More air slices come and cuts Phil this time, he''s bleeding all over, [recovery] and his wounds close up.


    The crab jumps, the first time he''s moved from his starting location.


    Phil easily moves out of the way and to it''s side, he launches more earth magic but simple sharp projectiles this time.


    The crab uses an earthquake move towards the magic and it travels trhoughout the water crushing them, Phil dodges it but the crab is on the offensive now and rushing him.


    Earth magic and earthquake keep clashing, it seems like a stand off but the crab is healing, even its eye is growing back.


    Magic blasts are countered with earthquake too and Phil is tiring out, BAM he''s hit again and lets go of his trident.


    Seems like this is it, the others are preparing to go in now too to help Phil, the crabs are still in their spots.


    I use my light to blind the gigantic crab a bit and grab Phil at his waist with my puppeteer skill and holy skills.


    Hmm skills? oh right I have the slave title, it seems weak now.


    ''hey I''ll handle this'' I tell them as I go and use my holy maker and projection skills to make 2 huge crab like pincers.


    I extend holy light lines at the crab''s legs while it''s shocked at the huge pincers.


    The lines wrap around its legs and I pull forward, it falls and I use the pincers to keep it in place.


    I don''t want to kill it with holy rays or attacks and I don''t want to get close to hit it.


    I think and look back, the maids are there, lets have them hit it so I can enslave it.


    I tell them to come and attack the crab but not kill it.


    They agree and start circling and attacking with their gold daggers boosted by magic at the crab''s body and limbs.


    Some of them are cut off and then they hit it with magic blasts too.


    It seems like it''s enough so tell them to stop and I shout with my mind OBEY ME at the crab.


    Looks like it worked, I order it to calm down and not attack as I release my holy skills constraining it.


    The fight is over and everyone rejoices that it''s over.


    The maids are hugging each other and the guys are celebrating, the other menman didn''t do anything but they still had to dodge all the air slices and earthquakes from the crab that kept coming all around.


    Phil is being treated for his wounds as well.


    I ask what will happen to the crab and they tell me it''ll stay here until there''s some fight they need it for, they can''t take every strong creature into the cities.


    The mermen continue to patrol the area a bit and we head back, mission complete.


    I order the crab to be good and kill any bad sea creature, I heal it a bit with my holy recovery and give it holy mark.

    A sea creature convoy arrives too, it seems Mermi''s sister has arrived.


    I see her in on one of the fish, she''s older but looks like her.


    She looks like Mermi but taller like the maids, she has blondelong hair, blue eyes, small breasts and a light blue tail.

    Our gazes meet, oh.


    She gets off the ride and comes towards me, she isn''t stopping but getting faster?

    My fish are near me but I already told them to get further back.


    I counter the attacks with my holy projections, like a tree branch with hands that spawns out and they each take the hit of hers.


    More blasts but they curve?


    I just make an open box like projections now andthey hit the sides.


    She''s now circling around me while continuing her attacks.


    I want to end this quickly, I''ll grab her.


    Make some light fish creatures with a big sharp mouth and send them to her on the left side while sending light lines on the other side to capture her.


    She destroys the light fish projections just like I expected, a giant hand comes up from below to grab her.

    Day 400, training with my fish as usual along with Merleona princess and I evolve

    I''m now 12.5 meter/41 feet, bigger than earth''s biggest great white shark but only 2/3rd the size of a megalodon.


    My bloated self from overeating went away as well and I notice a new feature, I thought I was a normal fish, white silver body with yellow fins and marks near the sides.


    I''m not super fat like a tuna or shaped weirdly with curves but now I have longer fins that are sort of wavey like hair, more  noticable scales and a more round body unlike the common fish you see in the ocean, am I a koi fish? I was definitely not a koi so I assume the holy blessings changed me into a more holy form.

    I can still kill it if it turns on me but the slave control still works so I''ll leave it.

    I say I''ll continue being outside to train my new bigger body.

    It seems it''s her own soldiers and not the kingdom''s, I get a high tier gear, it increases magic damage by 10 times but it breaks in 3 uses.


    I take it even though I can''t cast magic yet.


    The princess says she will save the snake to use it insome mission later on.


    [gigantic metal head fish] the first one of them evolved, same size as me and its skin is thicker like metal now while the head is incredibly harder.


    I decline Mermi''s offer to trade them and I ask if they are special, she says the fish is documented so it isn''t special but they are rarely seen wandering alone outside of their group.


    I ask for a copy of the fish species documents but there are classified ones that no one but the highest royals can access.


    The normal ones you can buy at the book stores.


    I ask for it anyways since I want to know where the locations are and Mermi will give me a big one later.


    Mermi and the maids have gotten the fasting skill after all this time, it''s been a while since I told them to do it, 2 months or so.


    It seems they kept eating full meals every now and then and that''s why it took this long, however they got it which is the most important thing.


    I tell them to ditch their dinner today and only eat some veggies now and then.


    They moan in complain but it''s necessary.


    Merleona caught on to it and began doing it too, she''s already starving with one missed mealthough so it looks like she''ll get it tommorow already.


    And as I thought she did get the skill, by lunch she got it, she''s doing her training too which accelerated it.


    Mermi doesn''t want to be outdone so she stopped eating as well, the maids follow her, looks like they will finish this fast.


    Days pass and they can''t sleep thanks to the hunger, they lost some weight too.


    I tell them to do monk meditation training now while starving, it strenghtens your spirit to get through this period.


    10 days in and they get the monk title, they can stop with the fasting too.

    The buff training is going well, Mermi got it in a few days while Merleona can cast it in quick successiveness already.

    She looks like her daughters but with bigger breasts and a bluer tail.


    Wearing a royal robe in gold color.

    I ask how how high up she is in the kingdom.


    Merleona answers ''she''s near the top, there isn''t one ruler but a council of them composed by the most talented mermen, mother is one step from entering it.''


    ''There isn''t a limit to how many can be in the council too so it''s just a matter of achievments and merit.''


    She arrives and bows to me.

 Chapter 27 - Mermaid Mother Challenge

    The queen, is she a queen? with the council system it doesn''t seem so but the mermaid girls are called princesses.


    Maybe there was a royalty system but that was abolished and so the princess status still stays, either way she wants my help for the kingdom, it''s likely the same things Merleona asked of me.


    ''3 things is all I ask for.''


    Yeah it''s the same things and it seems like it will take longer to say since Merleona was direct.


    ''I understand and agree'' I say and she is schocked and the merman guards who came down are shocked as well.


    ''just like that?'' she says and I answer ''I already know about the goals the merman species want from me and that is why I have arrived.''


    Ooohh the merman soldiers go.


    They are getting fired up from this, I am like a propaganda piece.


    The gigantic whales and sea creatures don''t seem impressed, I guess I am just another fish type to them but the whales are smart so they should care right? the whale that are even further along theevolution size must know.


    We head to the mansion palace and we headto the most important room or we should have.


    Before that though, the princesses want to show their mother their new found strenght.


    A training room underneath the mansion, there''s space under the mansion too, I check with radar and not everywhere has a underground room which is for the foundation not to crumble of most likely.


    100 x 100 meter room with weapons, seats and not much else, just for soldiertraining when I guess.


    No one else is here but us and they begin.

    Both of them start adebuff spell and it''s succesful, the element of surprise is the key there.


    Merleona keeps up the quick physical debuffs while Mermi does magical debuffs.


    Their mom does not have a trident, a handicap since she istoo strong otherwise.


    She moves and does her own buffs, she''s quick even with all the moves they got it.


    The spells don''t hit her anymore so they switch to buffs, Mermi buffs her sister more who fights her mom head on.


    She''s faster and stronger but she isn''t connecting any hits, the difference of experience.


    [whirlpool] a whirpool engulfs Merleona and stops her.


    Mom goes for Mermi but she already buffed her speed and went around near the whirpool.


    The whirpool disappears and water magic and normal magic attacks are launched by Merleona and mom.


    They clash and even out.


    Mom closes in again as the debuffs wear out but Mermi backs away as Merleona keeps mom in check and furthers her distance soon afterwards too.

    More hugging with all 3, seems they''re having a family moment.


    We go to the room now, we are in the middle of the place so the most secured place in the mansion.


    There''s a meeting room where they discuss their info and make plans, it''s heavily secured with thick walls.


    To the side of it are the rooms for the highest royalty and military generals including mom.


    We go to her room and since she doesn''t want to use that room, seems this is a personal matter instead of an all around one.


    This should be why they want me to help with the traitors yet they can''t just kill them? power balance and public appearance still matter even in an ocean world thanks to intelligence.


    I''ve only been thinking about the mermen''s side too but there should be other kingdoms right and some individual sea creatures powerful enough to matter in these matters.


    It could turn bad if those traitors have some connections to them and they start a war.

    We kept meeting more and we deduced that they must have some connection or control over a powerful sea creature that even Merlea does not know about.


    We narrowed it to one creature since all of the dangerous ones are carefully monitored, though we do not know which one it is.


    A wild one or intelligent one? both are possible since the wild one can be lured into whatever position they want or the intelligent ones wants something.


    We came to the conclusion that''s it''s a new sea creature that no one knows about which is why it can''t be found, we can''t do anything about that so we will leave it for now.


    Eventually we decided to gain more influence and trust to corner the traitors.


    On day 420, a merman soldier came to report to the royal mansion - ''The giant''s ships have found one of the big farming fields and the battle is at a stalemate.''


    ''Which one?'' says Merlea.


    ''The medicinal field of the Deew plant, they are holding on but the defense will break eventually''


    ''That field is our biggest source of pain and stress relieving medicine so it is well protected so the forces must not be any mere fleet but how did they get that close?''


    ''Yes, all of the giants use fire magic and the number of ships number 7 ships, if they could use wind or water magic the battle might have already been lost.''


    ''Only fire magic and 7 ships? that means it''s the fire tribe giants but only the fire giants with their own country which reside in the southern part of the giant continent can afford ships yet they have come a long way'' says Merlea.''


    ''They are likely a reconnaissance squadron, we can''t let them leave alive and reveal our poistions.''


    Mermi asks '' 7 ships should be easy to win against with the amount of military force there so why are they losing?''

    A ride is prepared for us, a huge sailfish, nice silver blue color and sail like fins.


    The maids and Merlea stay, nobody else is accompanying us either.


    The sailfish can swim at 68mph normally but this huge one should go up to 1700mph/2735km since it''s evolved twice at 5x each but that seems too slow for this giant world.


    That''s without factoring any skills though and the body size alone should make it faster too, just double it to the original speed when it evolves? that''s 10x so it comes to 6800mph/10943km which I think that''s good for the fastest type of fish at only 2 evolutions, so every evolution ups the height by 5x while the the speed by 10x


    We get on the fish, it''s way bigger than me since it''s base size is already a bit over my size of 12.5 meter so it''s now 75 meters.


    I easily hold being 12.5 meters now and we head off, it should take less than half an hour to get to our desitnation since it used some speed skills.

 Chapter 29 - The Fire Giant Scout and Shark Battle

    We''re near the east star continent so we''re heading up and northwest towards it from where the mega city is.


    No problems during the trip there, the sailfish is just too fast.


    We arrive and the battlefield is a mess, the giants have the ocean near them boiling hot while they also fire fire and regular magic attacks.


    The gigantic shark is being held back by dozens of mermen and their sea creatures while the biggest ones are further away and the mermen firing long range spells but the ships are huge, easily over 150km so they aren''t going down.


    The marlins, sharks and others fish that gathered are after the salmon are just being annoying by getting in the way.


    We go to the shark first, I send some holy line to get behind it and then form a side opened cube to block its escape paths while keeping the front open for attack.


    Mermi casts her debuffs while Merleona fires her magic blasts, the shark is hurt but it''s not enough.


    It charges through the blasts and I create a giant holy arm to grab it but it struggles, breaks it and pushes forward.


    We sideswim away from it and keep bombarding it with attacks, it gives up and swims away to the smaller sharks but I mark it with my holy skill first.


    They all sideswim as well leaving it helpless.


    It gets frustrated and heads into the boiling water where the salmon is, it doesn''t want to run away without getting a meal first.


    It''s being burned by the hot water but it manages one mouthful of salmon, BOOM, it gets hit with fireballs and burned badly yet still lives.


    The water makes the fireball less effective of course, it suddenly goes super fast and leaves the battle field where there''s no one around.


    It must have been really hungry to endure that, even giant fish can starve huh.


    Meanwhile the shark''s desperate lunge made an opportunity for the other fish to go in and eat the salmon that went out of the boiling water.


    They all eat some and go, there''s not more fish in the area except some salmon left.


    No more interference means the mermen can focus on the fire giants.


    The attacks continue and mermen are going down as well.


    I cast holy heal on everyone including the ones being tended to, everyone is back up and they see me shining in my holy light.


    OOOHH, they get a moral boost and the fight grows fiercer, just a pure barrage of magic attacks from both sides.


    The giants are low in numbers but the magic attacks are huge, likely a thousand times bigger than a normal one, no wonder the giant''s expansion hasn''t been stopped.


    Mermi buffs those near her and Merleona attack as well and a ship finally gets blown apart, it''s starting to sink.


    The other ships go down too, the fire giants can''t escape since their fire magic isn''t versatile enough.


    Sucks for them but we can''t let hem leave alive for the mermen''s sake, the star continents can just move but the mega city can''t.


    The giant are now in the water, they start swimming?


    Full speed at their height is fast, I cast my holy lines but they are to big for me to stop.

    The bigger the creature the more difficult it is to control if it isn''t smart or controlled by a skill.


    This base only has 3 gigantic ones, it seemed like a strong base but this is a letdown, the strong forces must be deeper down.


    3 fish about half the size of the giants come out, they don''t look like an earth fish but a generic monster fish.


    Purple brownish colors and lots of sharp teeth, body is half way like a snake and fish with bumps along the body.


    They head to the giants and get attacked by their fire magic but they easily dodge and encircle them.


    Fast bites are repeated and the giants are slowly losing strenght.


    SWISHH


    They lose whole limbs now and they sink and begin to drown.


    Blood is everywhere but the mermen are there with the algae that absorbs blood.


    Suddenly I sense the shark that left earlier, it''s coming back at full speed, it couldn''t ignore the huge amount of blood with it being so close.


    It''s a little bigger than the other fish and by a little a mean 100 meters or so but still pales to the 1 km sized giants.


    It seems bad to let it go so I''ll enslave it, I make a harpoon of holy magic and launch it at it it''s eye.


    BAM it hits and pierces it''s body, I turn off the holy magic and the harpoon is gone but the wound is till there of course so it bleeds out with the harpoon gone.


    I could use this to hunt, it''s very effective even underwater, as I think that the other gigantic sea creatures circle it and bite the shark not letting it swim away.


    I create a giant hammer and it on the head, it finally slows down after all this time.


    BE ENSLAVED, it works and I gain control of it.


    I heal it a bit with holy recovery and I leave it with the merman.


    We celebrate the defense and victory against the shark and giants as we stay for a day at this base.


    The commander of the base arrives as we are about to head back to the royal palace.


    He''s an old merman but is experienced in buff spells, no wonder they had a hard time without him.


    Me and the princesses say our pleasantries and we head out, before we left he gave my some healing items as thanks for saving the place.


    I accept and we head out on the sailfish we came on.


    ''AAH THAT WAS NICE EVENT HUH'' says Merleona in a good mood.


    ''It really was, we saved the people and beat the invaders, though the sea creatures really are a pain, so huge and unpredictable'' says Mermi.


    It went well but that shark was not a naturally large race of shark and had no magic while the fire giants were low in numbers and had no variety of magic.


    We lucked out in a way, that size difference is a bigger issue than I previously thought.


    The girls hear me thinking and they know that as well, we still have a long ways to go.

 Chapter 30 - Undead Sea creatures and Minotaurs

    Days 444, we spend a few weeks doing some quests and training when we get a report about undead.


    Sea creature undead? it''s possible but you don''t really think about fish when hearing about undead.


    Fish remains get eaten fast unlike on land where the chances to not get eaten rise but bigger carcasses should produce undead regardless.


    The creatures at the sea floor should be turning undead as well, that is the hotspot of undead activity but getting there would be way too risky and I don''t want to go there.


    I ask Merlea about ocean undead hotspots but she has nothing to say, they are controlled properly to not make a threat yet they are still undead since death happens everyday.


    We head out the same day since we had nothing to do, another unit will head out after us to take care of business it seems.


    Near the eastern coast line of the east star continent, we aren''t in a hurry so we arrive in half a day.


    It will get dark in a few hours so we hurry with the mission.


    We see a bunch of undead as we get closer, humans, small crabs, small fish and some bigger ones.


    Seems an accident happened with the fishing boat, it was a big boat.


    There are no creatures to eat them because the humans caught them all.


    I look closer and I do see some worms.


    [sea worm] [acid] [bite] [swim]


    There are varies sizes, the biggest ones is only the size of a coke bottle.


    They are biting and swallowing some flesh but they go away as well, there aren''t enough or ones big enough to eat all of these dead bodies.


    Gigantic worms must be their own predators, not even needing to scavange, a force in its own right.


    I enslave them and it works, worms do have brains afterall.


    Not like I need them though so I make them come over and I eat them, tastes alright but that''s because I''m a fish obviously.


    I wide holy ray the undead and they die again, the bodies fall get destroyed but they don''t disintegrate.


    They actually just stay dead for good this time, I thought they would be completely gone.


    A higher end holy move would save the creature itself by healing.

    I use various holy light and ray in varying power output but nothing is revived.


    I do feel they were saved, their souls are still part of the cycle, undead not hit by holy ray stay there as their souls are corrupted.


    No strong undead seen, the big sea creatures are handle by the girls and everything is going smoothly.


    Suddenly something pops up, a new stronger undead.


    All the undead around each other brings forth more undead? this time it''s a.. minotaur!


    5 of them, they were killed long ago and all the undead activity used their remnants to create a full undead version of them.


    They are atleast 10 feet tall, basic elemental strike and magic.


    CRUSH BOOM, they strike with their axes they were created with.


    I holy ray 2 and they still move, block and dodge while focusing the rays.


    The fish are still around too so I fire holy bullets and mow them down, TRTRTRTRTR


    The minotaurs start swimming? they aren''t fish so they are slow, I take this chance and keep barraging them with holy bullets.


    They keep coming and so do the undead fish so I fire thousands of rounds until they stop while swimming away from them, no need to go head on afterall.


    More undead fish are spawning but not alot, the ocean currents are disturbing the negative energy from piling up in one place.


    The fish are gone and the minotaurs fall to the floor, it''s over.


    The girls are keeping 2 at bay while I keep the last one crushed under a holy wall, it''s big enough so it can''t get away.


    Holy bullets to the undead minotaurs and Merleona slices them in half.


    They still continue to drag themselves since they are undead but their movements were halted.


    I let the last one go and Merleona beats it one on one fairly easily.


    A trident charged with magic and the minotaur is torn apart from the chest out.


    I holy ray them again to make sure they are gone for good.


    So ends the mission quest and we prepare to head back soon after we search the area a bit.


    The ship has a big hole in it as we look over it, some creature hit right under it and capsized it.


    It''s stronger than normal wood so it must have been big, likely some huge hardened fish that just attacked for fun.


    We see some items though we leave them since the humans will send people to salvage the wreck.


    Going to the humans that asked for help would be a courtesy but we''re not a regular unit and that would just complicate things so we leave and leave it to the other mermen.

 Chapter 31 - The Chased (1)

    As we are going back from the undead mission suddenly something is coming, Merleona senses it first then me with my radar skill.


    I don''t have it on all the time since it messes with my normal vision.


    It''s a sort of a mix of a brown sea snake with a worm but demonic looking with lots of sharp teeth, it''s gigantic for a seas snake at 15 meters however it''s slightly smaller than the sea snake I had.


    It''s coming straight at us at full speed so I launch a holy ray and it connects, it moves around but can''t get it off.


    It speeds up and reaches us, Merleona already buffed herself plus Mermi''s buffs so she attacks it but it takes the hits and comes after me.


    My holy ray is starting to hurt it so it smashes the ground with it''s tail, all the sand blocks the ray, who knew the counter was that easy? this is bad.


    I try to enslave it but it doesn''t work at all, it''s not the usual esponse either, could it already be controlled?


    It keeps coming to me,it''s clearly after me only.


    I make some holy shields and walls to keep it away but it head bashes and tail attacks them apart, heh was my snake ever that powerful?


    The girls are attacking and debuffing but to no avail, it has a one track goal even at the cost of it''s health and life.


    ''This is abnormal, it has some sort of spell casted on it, might this be the sea creature the anti we were discussing about?'' says Mermi while casting.


    ''It likely is, well it isn''t that big of a deal then, we can beat it soon'' says Merleona as she slashes it.


    New fish on my radar are being picked up.


    Dozens of them, there are big and huge ones but none like the sea snake worm.


    They are easily dealt with since they are coming straight at us with no intention of dodging, I unleash my holy bullets and mow them down.

    They are in a circle and casted that, their mana is going to the sea snake worm, it gained [dark attribute] [dark magic]

    75 meters in height and its lenght is monstrous, smaller n height compared to the shark we fought at the fire giants but I can tell it is way stronger than it.


    The difference in base genetics, talent or something like that if fish even have those.


    The mermen all pull out an item and ''ENHANCE SLAVE SPELL''


    The monster is struggling for control but loses, it was already enslaved so it was easier, I doubt that would work if it didn''t have the spell already on it.


    ''NOW KILL THE HOLY FISH, GO!!''


    I use my holy barrier and it''s crushed easily.


    Make it bigger and hold it down with lots of holy weight, aaah no use it''s emitting dark aura, it''s going to break it soon I''m not strong enough to maintain all this holy mass either.


    ''Mermi, Merleona I''ll swim away near the southern part of the eastern star and it will chase me, you both go back and get some help fast!


    ''WHAT WAIT''


    ''GO NOW! KNOCK OUT THOSE GUYS AND TAKE THEM WITH YOU AS WELL!''


    As I begin to swim I holy ray it in the eye from my backside, it''s hard to do so it will do little damage but that''s all I can do now.


    It roars, breaks free and chases after me at full speed.

 Chapter 32 - The Chased (2)

    I''m swimming as hard as I can and got a good lead in however it''s being closed fast.


    I didn''t go back to where we went on the undead mission because there were alot of people there which would just make alot of victims.


    The water is kind of dark, a type of algae I guess so I blast my holy light to see ahead.


    The snake worm blasts its darkness breath magic and I dodge it, it''s huge but just evolved so it''s not used to it.


    Even though it''s big It''s not a crazy size difference, only 6 times bigger than me in height hehe.


    After 3 minutes of chasing me it catches up dangerously close.


    I''m a koi now after I evolved so a type of carp which means the sea snake would be twice my speed usually but now it''s incredibly faster yet it does not have any burst skills to boost its speed.


    I push ahead with consecutive bursts and make some space again, it tires me out and healing doesn''t help since it''s not a spell but a skill which doesn''t help since it will still take my stamina away.


    Sensing more sea creatures, they aren''t huge so I enslave them all and put them at the front.


    They are useless against the snake worm afterall.


    The worm part of it has the benefits of being more resilient and having thicker skin, it doesn''t have any regeneration either despite being a worm.


    A huge minus in the mixing but it will get it later on so I''m lucky it doesn''t it have it now.


    An experiment from the anti holy fish faction most likely, maybe their first that succeeded since they never had the upperhand before.


    Another round of bursts and I''m ahead again, we''re moving steadily and we will near the coastal area in 10 minutes.


    The darkness is disappearing and it''s getting brighter, some bigger fish are coming but they are enslaved easily.


    My fish barrier is over a thousand now and keep growing.


    Just as I think about it, a school of agressive looking fish come by, cod fish? blue purple tinted ones and they stay near and follow us, they aren''t attacking.

    The sea snake worm has been launching darkness breath attacks every now and then which is a pain, some fish get caught up in it but overall the numbers are negligible.

    I see a nicely populated coastal reef, there should be enough creatures there to hurt this monster.


    I head to a good wide spot and control everything I can.


    Giant Holy Hammer, I make that and smash it on top of the sea worm''s head.


    It finally stops its pursuit as it roars in pain even though it can''t truly feel the pain and in that moment I order all the sea creatures to attack including the cods with bites.


    The tail swinging around destroys tons of coral and structures and the fish as well.


    All the commotion is bringing others to check it out and I make them join the attack.


    Darkness Breath annihilates alot of fish but the attack continues as I send some giant hammer once in a while.


    Huge sharks are coming, I say huge but only around 50 meters, 25m smaller than the sea worm but they are sharks so they are still a threat.


    They dodge the dark breath and bite some chunks off yet the hard skin makes it hard so they aren''t lethal.


    SMACK the tail attack kills a shark as it sinks dead in the ocean and the others back off.


    .. my fish are disappearing? more and more of them are gone but it''s not the snake''s fault?


    With my fish gone I swim away again.


    As I go I see red tentacles coming out and grabbing fish, they are very long tentacles but not particularly thick.


    The shark is eaten by the biggest octopus that comes out which does have thick tentacles, it might be stronger than the snake itself.


    Didn''t catch any of them on my radar skill either, that''s why I don''t want to go out, too dangerous.

 Chapter 33 - The Chased (3)

    Swimming along and still in the coral reef, it''s huge after all.


    Not going in a straight line since I need to buy time until help comes.


    I go around the area repeating what I did ealrier, enslaving fish and using them as a shield for my front plus my sides and lower half this time.


    You can''t tell what will suddenly come out.


    The sea snake eel is slowing down a bit but it''s still too much for me to handle


    Zig zagging around and a hotspot of shrimps attack us from afar, they aren''t a big deal except a huge one who''s attack would be bad if it it me.


    It''s not hurting the snake that badly though, there is a lack of strong sea creatures here.


    Swimming in the reef for a while and barely anything has attacked us.


    This is due to being near the coast and all the fishing going on, they are regurlaly hunted down so they aren''t growing to their best potential.


    Fish and crustaceans all in hiding in the corals and under the sea sand.


    Dark Breath still being fired depletes my fish shield so I go ahead with speed boosts.


    It''s been 30 minutes since it started chasing me, it''s injured so I can keep my distance without fear now, I just have to wait it out.


    Soon after I sense some mermen and sea creatures they are riding, 15 of them in total, all veterans it seems.


    They attack in groups and the snake worm is getting beaten hard.


    FHWAM its tail strucks a merman and a breath attack hits several others.


    It''s tenacious even after all this time, I grab the ones who were hurt and heal them.


    They join the attack again and slowly the sea snake worm is defeated.

    I ask the mermen to transport the creature since its body will serve as proof.


    I hook it with my holy skills and dvidide the carrying load to everyone.


    The sea creatures they are riding are only 10-20 meters but that''s enough to drag the monster back.


    Another half hour of swimming, sigh, the downside of a huge world.


    We arrive and I''m hugged by the girls, ''I knew you would make it Holy Fish'', ''You have to tell me what happened during the chase.''


    Merlea mother arrives and congratulates everyone on returning and for our victory.


    The worm is taken inside the mega city for now.


    ''Those mermen were already looked into with magic, only 1 member of the council was in it and some accomplices will be taken into custody soon.''


    ''It seems the traitous parts were not that big or powerful as an organization, we had overesitimated them yet it was good to deal with them now before they grew any further.''

    Merlea thanks me but that was the whole force of the traitors? well good for me honestly, I won''t have to deal with that anymore.

    For the rest of today I share my heroic fight against the snake worm to the princesses in the palace then I head back and prepare for tonight''s sleep, I''m too tired.
