3. Kithian Kingdom
A country were its people have a very strong believe in their king.
These three are the biggest global powerhouses in terms of military might.
They boast a very large industrial capacity and potential.

Main Character/Protagonist: Infantry Crulon Empire Grenadiers The elite type of infantry that can be seen on all battlefields with an especially high concentration of troop or in strategic location. It is flexible and can be used in any terrain. An elite Infantry Division includes 9000 of this type of Soldier. They attack in small groups, that spread out on the battlefield. They are made up of the best infantrymen in the army. The normal Infantry The type of soldier that fights on all battlefields. Form Deserts, Mountains, on the shores of the sea or on plain grassland. They fight in large formations and charge at the enemy. Only to get mowed down by machinegun fire. They man the trenches and defend them.Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. Are usually made up of all ethnicity¡¯s and doesn¡ät differentiate between young or old. Machinegun-Crew Operate in a four-man team. One carries ammunition,2 the machine gun itself and the fourth the rifles and more ammunition for the others. They defend the trenches or provide covering fire for the infantry. They are usually made up of the worst fighters. But this doesn¡ät lower their effect at all because in the situation of defense one only needs to spray at the enemy and will likely hit something. Mobile Infantry/Cavalry Crulon Husars Are used as messengers, scouts, logistical help, military police, fast reaction troops and for pursuing the enemy after their retreat. In the beginning they attacked in the typical horse charge style (I will call it that). But as the war continued on and trench warfare began to take more control over the battlefields this was replaced with the tactics mentioned. In the end many divisions were disbanded and reintegrated into the infantry. Because many of them turned out to be excellent snipers. (the bad ones were integrated into the machinegun crews) Bicycle Troops Take a similar role to the cavalry but appear later in the war and take a vital role in the army as surprise offensive infantry. Meaning they have to quickly change place and appear somewhere else where they will immediately attack. (They will leave the bicycles behind, when they attack.) Kithian Kingdom Infantry

Normal Infantry

(is an allrounder) One Division is made up of 6000 Soldiers. Is sometimes equipped with outdated equipment and is seen on every front of the Kithian Kingdom. They attack in the way the terrain or the tactics of the Generals demands. They have the luck of more voice in the ears of the Generals. (They don¡ät throw their lives away needlessly) But they have incompetent officers. Because they are not taken because of their ability but their loyalty. But usually they have more success than other countries because the Soldiers have the right to make decisions on the battlefield themselves. J?ger Infantry They are special forces of the Kithian Kingdom. They operate in small forces and raid the enemy at night. They only take orders from their own battalion officers or a General. they are bound to no specific area and travel from battlefield to battlefield. One Battalion is made up of 1000 J?gers, which are excellent snipers. Usually every Infantrymen that is not part of the J?gers listens to them, because of their expirience. Kordian Infantry Kordian Marines The elite of the Kithian army and navy. One division is made up of 4000 Marines and they are usually supported with machineguns. They are trained in defending and attacking ports, rivers and cities. But also excel at attacking other position, like normal trenches or hills. They operate in small groups and throw grenades at the enemy before launching an attack. (getting up close and then throwing into the trench) Normal Kordian Infantry One Division consists out of 7000 Soldiers of this type. Here shows the focus on the navy of the country its downside. The army-tactics are at the beginning of the war outdated and not usefully integrated into modern times. But still, this division can take quite a punch and is in no way inferior to the enemy in terms of equipment. Also, the troops themselves are excellent in using the terrain to their advantage, when ordered to attack.
What needs to be known before reading. This story plays in an alternate universe (like the title of implies). So, you can¡ät expect everything to be the ¡°same¡± as on our planet earth. I purposely changed the name of the countries and set the story in an alternate universe because I don¡ät want to take a side. Meaning I don¡ät care who has won in real life or not and I don¡ät want to change history in my story, because I would have wished for someone else to win the war. Which is not the case. I just don¡ät want to judge between right or wrong, good and evil, which country started to whole mess and so on. I also don¡ät care about any ideologies that will be mentioned or ¡°genocides¡± that will take place in the future (I have them planed out already). These will not be mentioned because I think they were cool (NO THEY ARE NOT), but because I think that it is worth remembering them and that it is important to see how it can change the world.Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author. (historical references Holocaust and other lesser known genocides which are at least as cruel, for example: Belgium and the Kongo.) Let¡äs hope that in our world this never happens again. NO DON`T LET IT HAPPEN, as long as we remember it, it won¡ät happen again! So never forget!

Now to the story.

The story plays in the year 8000. This is the case because humans here have an especially long lifespan of 200-250 years. Also, what is even stranger is that the body of a boy matures with the tender age of 10! So, scientist will now raise their hands and say that¡äs impossible and now I tell you that I don¡ät fucking care and the only reason why this is the case is, I don¡ät want the main character too die to early before the main plot even takes place. (can you say ¡°main plot¡±?) At the point where the story starts the main character is at the age of 20. (Just because I find it to hard to write the story from the beginning, which would be his birth.) Now I¡äm going to write the real story from this point onwards. It might take a while and I don¡ät know how long, but it shouldn¡ät be that long. Chapter 2 The prince (Kind of Introduction) ¡°My prince?¡± The prince sat in his chair, immersed in his thoughts. He didn¡ät feel good. But because of what? It was like someone sentenced his country and being into a period of chaos and the sudden feeling of realization, troubled his ¡°soul¡± greatly. ¡°My prince?¡± Still, he sat quietly in his chair. The chair was made up of old leather, not fitting for a prince honestly. But he still liked it, the feeling of old leather seemed to calm his mind. ¡°My prince?!!!!!!¡± At the sudden loud shout of his butler, which is at the same time his best military advisor, a retired general, he snapped out of his daze. Slowly he put down the newspaper, that he was holding. He only now realized that he was holding it the entire time. Now, he asked the old butler in a confused manner. ¡°Y-Yes, ahh w-what¡ässs the matter Theodor?¡± Theodor Butler answered, with a concerned voice: ¡°My prince, do you not feel well?¡± ¡°Theodor, how many times should I tell you? Please, call me by my first name. Alexander, like I who call you Theodor.¡± Theodor looked at the prince with the eyebrows raised and said, in a questioning voice: ¡°Don¡ät try to change the topic. What were you thinking about again? Where are you thinking about the possibility of a great war again?¡± ¡°No, I was not.¡± ¡°Don¡ät lie to me. I know you since your birth and I know when something troubles you.¡± Alexander exhaled with a long sigh and a small smile across his lips, only to get serious again. ¡°Anyway, I wanted to order 3000 pieces of the 3.2inch Field Gun, Model 60 from Crolia for the price of 5 Million Mark. In addition to that, about 5 Million rounds of ammunition for said gun and the price is discussable. Theodor doesn¡ät pay them too much!¡± ¡°Yes, my prince.¡± Theodor bowed to Alexander and made is the way to the door of the small room. But when he reached the door, he suddenly turned around. ¡°Ah before I forget it, I need to tell you that Feldwebel-Leutnant Buhl has arrived and is waiting for you in the palace garden. I believe it''s about your personal ¡°little¡± project.¡± ¡°Thanks, Theodor, tell him I will meet him in a few minutes and bring him something to eat. I believe he¡äs quite hungry after a 4-hour horse ride from the Silver Oak Military Academy to my imperial summer residence.¡± The moment Theodor closed the door of the room, began Alexander to search for some documents and after quickly reading through them he began to make his way to the garden of the palace. ¡°Ah, Feldwebel-Leutnant Buhl. I¡äm sorry that I took some time to meet you I still had an important task to do.¡± This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.¡°No problem.¡± ¡°Please take a seat.¡± ¡°Thank you, milord.¡± The two of them were sitting on a table under a tree in a beautiful garden with plants of all sorts and were chatting in a manner only really old friends were capable of doing. That¡äs because they were really old friends. Feldwebel-Leutnant Buhl''s real name is Lorenz Buhl. He is a little older than the prince and they met each other on the first day in the military school, at the age of 5. ¡°So, how is the project going?¡± ¡°Better than expected I suppose.¡± ¡°Really? Are the troops already finished with basic training?¡± ¡°Oh, yes. Even better they finished the specialized training in close quarters.¡± ¡°I see. How would they fare against the imperial guards?¡± ¡°I think that they are about as equal as you can get. But tell me how is the business going for your company.¡± ¡°Which one?¡± ¡°So, you have come that far. Have you already started investing in the military?¡± ¡°I started today. 3000 pieces of the 3.2inch Field Gun, Model 60 Artillery and 5 Million pieces of ammunition.¡± ¡°That¡¯s equipment that is already outdated.¡± ¡°I know but in the coming war they will be needed and for the price, they are currently the best thing you can buy. Off course after the artillery our country produces.¡± ¡°True. But that¡¯s your problem, isn¡ät it? When you give the order to produce more of our artillery then the parliament will think you are a warmonger.¡± Alexander sighed loud and his voice lost a considerable amount of volume. ¡°These noble idiots think we are invincible. Although they have great faith in me of becoming the next emperor. They do seem to criticize me in any way possible.¡± ¡°Isn¡ät that good at the same time, Alexander?¡± ¡°Yes and no. It shows that they are concerned about me and try to push me forward so that I put more work into it and at the same time they question me, the heir to the throne. So, in a way, they question my authority. I just don¡ät know what to do with them.¡± ¡°Well I would like to help you, but sadly I have to go now. Well, the Legion needs me.¡± Feldwebel-Leutnant Buhl stood up and walked to the door. After a quick bow and ¡°Goodbye, my prince.¡± He left the palace in a hurry. Alexander now alone decided to head back to his ¡°office¡± or like the butler liked to describe it the prison of the prince. Crolia is a country similar to Switzerland in our world. It has now nearly 800 years of continuing peace and sells weapons to all countries. It has close ties with the Crulon Empire. Chapter 3 Planning for a long war Part I Alexander was sitting his ¡°office¡± if you would be able to call it that. The butler, on the other hand, has found a more fitting description of the room. ¡°The prison of the prince¡± now you may ask why this room is called that way. Simply because the room had no windows and documents of all sorts were lying around in every corner. Even Alexander himself was lying on the floor at this very moment and thinking about how he could prepare for the coming war. ¡°My troops are nearly ready, but I haven¡ät prepared the economy enough. The South Lusitanian Trade Company is making more and more money as I intended. Thanks to the money I receive I can now buy more material for war, but I have a feeling that just buying weapons isn¡ät enough. I need to expand the mines of The Lonely Hill and increase the production of steel and iron in the Clamor Smithery. Also, there is the logistical problem of bringing the ore from the Lonely Hill to the Clamor Smithery. I think I need to ask my friend that¡äs part of the Ministry of Transport, Innovation, and Technology for advice. I probably also have to recruit more lumberjacks to fuel the smithy. But that is not the only thing I will probably need to do. I will also have to open up new mines and expand them, of course, I will also build better infrastructure and buy several farms and collectivize them to maximize the output. (the term collectivize is purposely used. It has the meaning that everyone that signs up to work there will have to live there and work communally on the farm. Kind of like the Soviets did.)Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere. Then I need to open my own arms industry and connect them to the Clamor smithery. Fuckkkkkk it¡äs just too much to do!!!!!!!! well, let¡äs start the work isn¡ät going to lessen if I wait.¡± Alexander stood up and walked to his chair, began writing instructions on pieces of paper and finally went out of his room, with at least 20 different letters for various people in his hand. Alexander went straight to the kitchen because it had become late by now and he became quite hungry. He opened the door to the kitchen and was greeted from Theodor and by a sweet smell lied in the air. ¡°My prince, the food is ready.¡± ¡°You don¡ät have to say that Theodor. I could tell that the moment I entered the kitchen. It smells amazing, as always.¡± ¡°If you would kindly follow me into the dining room.¡± On the way through the kitchen, Alexander saw many delicious looking meals. So, after they reached the dining room, he was wondering in which sequence the different meals would arrive. The butler opened a door and Alexander was greeted by a big majestic looking room, with a big round table in the middle. The interior was either red or made out of gold. On the walls hung paintings of god like figures. The prince gets astounded every time. Even after he enters the room dozens of times already. Because every time he entered the light seemed to bring yet another amazing detail of the room to life. ¡°My prince, would you take please take a seat.¡± ¡°Yes, of course, Theodor and tell the maids they can bring in the foods now.¡± ¡°Yes, my prince and would you like me to over bring these letters if yours.¡± ¡°Yes, the people which they should be given to are mentioned on the letters. I want them to be brought as quickly as possible to the person.¡± ¡°They will be there in no time be assured, my prince.¡± Alexander took an extensive meal, which he tried to enjoy as much as possible. After he finished it, he went to his sleeping room. In the room was only a single bed, that was right next to the wall. Chapter 4 Preparing for war Part II Alexander woke up late on the next day, maybe it was because he was tired from planning the day before. Well, he couldn¡ät let it get into his way today, he still had a lot to do. Slowly Alexander stood up and started to get himself dressed. Then he made his way to the kitchen and grabbed a quick snack from a table in the kitchen. When he entered the dining room he was greeted by Theodor. "Good morning, my prince." "Good morning, Theodor." "What would the prince like to eat as breakfast today?" "Nothing, just bring me a plate of fruits into the garden, latter." "Like the prince wishes it to be done." Theodor bowed to Alexander while the later left the room and went to the garden. Well, he didn¡ät go directly. He first went into his "office" to get some pieces of paper and some pencils to work out different military strategies for the coming war. Alexander then ordered maps from a maid. After a few minutes, the maps arrived and Alexander started, well he was trying, to figure out the best way for normal Infantry to advance. Because not only was this really difficult but it turned out that, although he is extremely talented in predicting economic developments, he is in no way skilled enough to create logistical routes to supply his troops. After a while of staring unknowingly onto the map, Theodor spoke. "You should but the route onto the road through the forest and let it go through the valley." "But why, wouldn¡ät it be best to put it onto the biggest road?" "It depends on what you want to achieve." "What do you mean."If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. "If you are in a war where the frontline changes every minute then it is the best to put the supply on the main road. But if you are in a war where the frontline doesn¡ät move much you can, of course, use both and now what do you do when you are preparing a surprise attack?" "I will use the track through the forest." "And why?" "Because it keeps the enemy from noticing the attack." "That¡äs not entirely true. In our times it is only possible to cover the attack for a short time. The scouting equipment and methods have just become too good. That is why you have to change the supply route eventually." "That makes sense. Theodor, have I ever asked you why you wanted to become my butler? You are a decorated military commander and could have retired with pride?" "I have a question for you. What brought your family power, so that now they are the ruling class of a nation?" "Wealth and an invincible army." "You are right and what comes through them." "Influence." "I think now you have your answer, don¡ät you." "Yeah, but why would you like to influence me?" "Let¡äs stop that shall we. Back to the main topic. I think you should hire someone for doing the logistical stuff. Well, not hire more like recruit someone." "Ok, but Theodor please tell me. How do you know that I should use the road through the forest." "Simply because the map before you is from our enemy the empire of Westrain. The part of the country you are in is very hard to travel through and the resistance from the troops of Westrain isn¡ät going to be small either." "So, you are saying that there won¡ät be any short victory?" "Yes, that is what I¡äm saying." "Ok, Theodor would you be so kind and pass an order to my military academy and tell them they should practice more trench warfare." "Of course, my prince." "Ahh and order as many machine guns as you think fit for 849 km of shared border with the minimal amount of required troops." "Yes, my prince. Although I don¡ät know how long this will take." "Take your time. I expect them to be needed in around two years." Theodor turned around, with a big smile on his face. Why do you ask? Well, the reason is simple. Since the prince was young, he distrusted people and needed to do everything himself. He wanted to keep everything under his control. At this moment the old man was feeling a few successes boost his confidence, in bringing the prince to trust more people. The general knows that this will never go away completely and that is by all means nothing bad. If one wants to stay in power. You can¡ät just trust everyone blindly. Rewrite? So I''m back. There¡äs nothing more to say. Only that I plan to rewrite this whole mess and that I''m not sure in which direction the rewrite should go. To be honest I stopped writing this Novel(?) because I got bored of it. Maybe because I set it up in such a way that the main character has nothing to stand in his way and has no difficulties executing plans. This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it I set up a discord so that all of you who were interested in this novel can help me with my indecisiveness which is also responsible for the early drop of this novel. https://discord.gg/JHgwKyfht
