Chapter 11 - 11: Devour a Dragon
Chapter 11: Devour a Dragon
[All 13 skeletons now have ess to the System''s Inventory]
"You all will collect any dropped items and ce them in the inventory," I directed the remaining five E-rank skeletons, demonstrating the process once.
They moved out, initiating a one-sided killing and looting spree in the novice dungeon.
Outside the dungeon
In the school, many teachers engaged in discussions.
"Sir, what are your thoughts on the final prize?" inquired the homeroom teacher, curiosity piqued.
"I''ve decided to invite an S-rank yer to mentor the top performer," replied the principal calmly, asking, "Who do you think wille out on top?"
"I believe Sam has the highest chance, considering he already has an E-rank skeleton," the homeroom teacher suggested after contemting.
"Ah, then I''ll await the oue," the principal remarked before heading to his office.
Inside the novice dungeon, monsters and students alike were in an uproar.
Two students had been battling a G+ and F- rank monster when a skeleton suddenly materialized out of thin air.
"Skeleton!" they eximed in fear, watching as it easily dispatched G+ and F- rank monsters.
"Will it attack us too?" one student whispered to the other.
"No, it seems to be heading elsewhere," the other student observed, a glimmer of hope in their eyes.
As the skeleton disappeared from their sight, both students copsed to the ground, relieved that they were spared.
A bright light suddenly sparked in one student''s memory, and he asked his friend, "Don''t you think we''ve seen that skeleton before?"
"Now that you mention it, it does seem familiar. It''s Sam''s skeleton," the other student grumbled resentfully.
Unbeknownst to them, simr incidents were unfolding with other students throughout the dungeon.
Thismotion persisted for around 6 hours.
All 13 skeletons gathered in one ce, while the troublesome studentsy in exhausted peace.
"It''s finally over. That escted quickly," I remarked as I stood up and suddenly eximed, "My mind has gone numb after listening to the World System''s prompts for around 6 hours."
[World System]
[You have in 200 G and 100 F-rank monsters]
[Resulting loot: 200 F-grade stat crystals and 2500 gold coins.]
[Note: G-rank monsters only drop 10 gold coins]
I checked the ranking list and found myself in first ce with a significant lead.
"First ce, huh?" I chuckled.
I then inspected my inventory and noticed an increase in the quantity of stat crystals and gold coins.
[Supreme Exchange System]
Inventory: [460 F-grade stat crystals, 4 E-grade stat crystals, and 3165 gold coins]
Satisfied with my haul, I whispered, "Preserve," and all the skeletons returned to the Undead Space.
"Let''s exit," I said, leaving the novice dungeon.
In the School.
Near the novice dungeon exit, students were reporting to the homeroom teacher one by one.
"Oh, Sam''s skeleton swiped your monsters," the homeroom teachermented.
As they conversed, the entrance to the novice dungeon lit up, and I emerged.
"Sir, Sam has emerged from the dungeon."
"Quiet, everyone," the homeroom teacher instructed, moving toward me.
"Sam, I heard that your skeleton took their monsters," the homeroom the teacher said, inquiring about the incident.
"Sir, there were no rules against it. I have followed all the rules," I sneered at theining students.
"Did you all hear that? No rules were vited; only strength matters in the dungeon. Those whoined will be penalized," the homeroom teacher reprimanded the students sternly.
Shamed, they bowed their heads, but the homeroom teacher insisted, "Run fiveps around the school."
"All students exiting the dungeon, follow the ''Material teacher''," the homeroom teacher directed.
[Material teacher: A teacher who allocates resources among students]
All students lined up obediently.
"As you all know, today we will distribute the ''Absorption Technique,'' which aids in absorbing stat crystals," the material teacher announced, a tradition upheld for centuries.
It was now my turn.
"Sam."
"Yes, sir," I replied, epting the absorption technique and stepping out of line.
"Appraise," I murmured.
[World System]
[Appraisal skill evaluating the technique]
Dragon Absorption Technique [F]
Absorbs same-grade stat crystals by 10%.
Grade: F
I was mentally prepared for the absorption technique to be inferior, but I hadn''t anticipated it to be thiscking.
"Anyone wishing to enhance their stat attributes will need to absorb 10 corresponding stat crystals to increase 1 corresponding stat point," I pitied them, finally understanding the demand for stat crystals.
After the school events concluded, I returned home at 6:00 p.m.
Tonight, I decided it was time to name my undead skeletons.
But first, a refreshing shower.
Post-shower, I headed to the dining hall.
The table wasden with food, and I savored my meal, feeling content.
Back in my room, I summoned all 13 undead skeletons.
It was time to give them names.
I decided to begin with the D rank skeleton and had an idea.
Why not use undead energy instead of mana to name them?
Excitedly, I asked Neo, "Can I use undead energy instead of mana for naming?"
Neo responded, "Yes, you can, but there are more disadvantages than advantages. Mana is the basic energy in this world, while undead energy is not."
I understood his exnation, though notpletely. Nheless, I chose to proceed with naming them. As I approached the D rank skeleton, I was about to give it a name when a prompt appeared in my mind.
[Host]
[Your current mana points are too low to name a higher rank monster than itself.]
[You could seriously harm or even kill yourself in the worst-case scenario.]
I was paralyzed upon hearing Neo''s prompt. I quickly regained myposure and asked, "Is there a solution?"
Neo replied, "[Host, why not maximize your intelligence and spirit before naming?]"
"Okay," I replied, my excitement for naming the skeletons fading away.
I felt a sense of sadness and thought, "Why not devour a dragon as well?"
[Ding¡]
[You can do that in the future.]
Chapter 12 - 12: Compensation
Chapter 12: Compensation
[You can do that in the future.]
"What?" I was dumbfounded by Neo''s sudden prompt.
"Neo, you can reply to me automatically without even asking?" I questioned, as I had never heard him reply on his own before.
"Yeah," Neo confirmed. "I just didn''t want to.
Currently, my main function will deactivate for around three years.
I will assist you with my intelligence, as I have gained all knowledge rted to this world aspensation."
"What? You receivedpensation for not being able to provide me with the ''Mall'' function, but I didn''t receive anypensation?" I shouted, feeling a sense of injustice.
"Sorry, host, I forgot to tell you," Neo apologized.
"You also receivedpensation. The exchange rate has been changed for three years. It is now 100 UMB - 1 E.P. Of course, all money should be obtained by you without any external help."
"Oh! I also receivedpensation," I replied happily, realizing that I could umte a lot of ''Exchange Points'' in three years.
As I continued chatting with Neo, my handwatch suddenly rang, and I furrowed my brow at the random call.
I answered the call, and a voice spoke in my ear, "Master, we have reached your vi."
My brow rxed as I realized that it was the servants, I had purchased from the System mall.
"Okay, I''ming to the gate," I replied.
"Okay," the voice responded, and the call ended.
**The Servants'' Point of View:**
"The master has called us to wait at the gate of the vi," one servant said to another.
"Okay," the other servant calmly replied, and they both started to wait for the master.
**The Butler''s Point of View:**
The butler had arrived at the vi at 5:00 p.m. and was currently resting after checking some documents.
*Knock*
"Didn''t I tell you not to disturb me?" the butler snapped.
"It''s¡ it''s me," a voice came from the gate side.
"Young master, it''s you. Okay,e in," the butler replied, realizing it was his young master.
As the young master entered the room, the butler asked, "Uncle, I have hired two S rank yers using one billion.
I made an excuse of spending one billion, as they say, ''even if the snake dies, the stick doesn''t break.''"
"Young master, are you serious?" the butler eximed. S rank yers were the highest rank yers in Province Xth.
"Yeah, uncle, I''m serious," the young master replied with determination.
"Okay, but I will first check them. And you didn''t tell anybody about this, right?" the butler asked seriously.
"Yeah, I didn''t tell anybody," The young master replied happily. His mission had beenpleted.
The two of them moved toward the gate of the vi, where a man and a woman stood waiting.
"Master," they both said, bowing towards the young master.
"Okay," he replied, feeling a bit embarrassed as his uncle watched him incredulously.
"Uncle, this is Zhu Zhen, an S rank yer with a profession in Business Management. And this is Zhou Wen, also an S rank yer with a profession as a Necromancer," the young master introduced both of them to his uncle.
*Cough* *Cough*
"Young master, let''s invite the guests into our vi," the butler suggested.
"Yeah, let''s enter the vi," the young master agreed, and they all went inside.
"Aunty, please bring three cups of coffee," I said to the maid who worked in our house.
"Okay, young master," she replied and went to fetch the coffee.
"Uncle, she will help you in the business and can even protect you. And he will protect me. You three can discuss the details amongst yourselves, as I''m going to my room," I informed my uncle.
"Eh! Young master, who needs protection? I''m also an S rank yer," my uncle replied, his pride hurt at the thought of being protected by a woman.
I smirked at his response and went to my room. Iy down on the bed and thought, "My uncle has never married because he has always carried big responsibilities on his shoulders. Why not help him connect with her?"
But that can wait for the future. Right now, I should focus on other things.
"Neo, I know you have ess to my previous life memories. Can you use the link auxiliary function on all the dungeons that have a chance of being the protagonist in Province Xth?" I asked, smirking.
"Okay," Neo replied.
The link auxiliary function was activated, and a web-like structure appeared in all directions, covering an area of 200,000 km^2, with me at the center.
[Ding¡]
[Tower has been linked]
[Wesnd Dungeon [C] and Ghost Dungeon [C] have been linked]
"Oh! All of these dungeons have certain unique rewards for the protagonist. But E rank is enough for me toplete the hidden mission, as my stats are limited to that of a C rank yer in F rank," I thought.
"Let''s increase my intelligence and spirit stat points," I decided. I took the intelligence stat crystal in my hand and activated the ''Predator Absorption Technique.''
A force regted in my hand, and a warm flow of energy entered through my hand, nourishing every cell in my mind.
A prompt appeared before my eyes.
[World System]
[You have gained 1 Intelligence]
I continued absorbing 200 F-grade spirit stat crystals, 260 F-grade intelligence stat crystals, and 4 E-grade intelligence stat crystals, which took about half an hour.
After absorbing all the stat crystals, my mind and spirit felt rxed and clear, and my tired body disappeared.
I checked the time on my handwatch and realized that it was already 7:30 p.m.
I decided to make the most of the next four hours and explore an F-grade dungeon.
"Neo, link me to any F-grade dungeon," I requested.
"Okay," Neo replied.
[Ding¡]
[Ape Dungeon [F] has been linked]
"Neo, transport me to the Ape Dungeon," Imanded.
"Okay," Neoplied, and I was transported to the Ape Dungeon.
[Note: Ape Dungeon stat crystal attributes are strength and constitution]
Chapter 13 - 13: Sufficient Exchange Points
Chapter 13: Sufficient Exchange Points
As I appeared on the first floor of the dungeon, I focused my attention on the ape that was about 200 or 300 meters away from me.
I released all twelve of my skeletons from the undead space.
After assessing all of them, I decided to start naming the D rank skeleton, as they had the potential to increase their rank by killing the apes.
I approached the D rank skeleton and said, "From now on, your name will be Diablo."
As I named the skeleton, I felt a significant drain of mana. I quickly checked my status to see my mana points.
Mana Points: 720/5720 [20 times my intelligence]
"What! 5000 mana points? Isn''t that too much?" I was bewildered by the amount of mana points consumed.
"Neo, that skeleton used 5000 mana points," I quickly asked Neo for an exnation.
[Host, that skeleton was made using undead energy. I believe that naming it with such arge amount of mana points will make it quite formidable in its own league.]
As I considered Neo''s suggestion, more monsters began to gather due to the naming process.
Imanded all twelve skeletons to attack the monsters on the first floor.
"Host, you still have nine hours to buy anything from the shop. Why not buy the auto pick-up function, which will help you loot any dropped items?" Neo suggested.
"Oh, that''s a good idea. Buy it," I replied. I then thought for a moment and added, "Neo, also buy the investment systems and artificial intelligence within my budget."
[Ding]
[Sufficient Exchange Points]
[Auto pick-up auxiliary function has been purchased]
[50,000 E.P deducted]
[Investment systems auxiliary function has been purchased]
[250,000 E.P deducted]
[Artificial intelligence auxiliary function has been purchased]
[50,000 E.P deducted]
[Author''s Note: I will make this novel more realistic, where Sam earns money by himself rather than one trillion in just one day. His family''s businesses have mostly vtile money, not assets. I apologize for adding all these auxiliary functions that will help Sam in various ways.
[Ding¡]
[Auto pick up feature activated]
[Investment system activated]
[Artificial intelligence integrated into your smartwatch]
After purchasing and activating all of these necessary auxiliary functions, I decided to put them to use.
"Neo, utilize the Link auxiliary function to connect the artificial intelligence with the investment system," I instructed Neo.
[Ding]
[Artificial intelligence sessfully linked with Investment system]
I named the artificial intelligence ''Alex''.
"Alex, can you withdraw 10 UMC from every user, as well as retrieve the funds of deceased users from the bank without being detected?" I asked, realizing that I currently had no money.
"Yes, I can do that without being detected," a transparent image materialized from my smartwatch and responded in a human-like manner.
"Okay, then Alex, utilize all the funds for investments, as you will also be responsible for managing the investment system," I instructed.
"Understood, master," Alex replied.
After contemting for a moment, I added, "And also, remember to notify me if you earn more than 1 trillion."
"Of course, master."
A sense of relief washed over me as everything fell into ce. Now, I turned my attention to Diablo, who was still encased in cocoons.
Although it may seem like a considerable amount of time had passed since I named the D-rank skeleton, in reality, only 5 to 10 minutes had psed.
Meanwhile, the other 12 skeletons were hunting ape monsters.
Five minutester¡
*Katch * Katcha*
The sound of breaking cocoons filled the air as they gradually shattered.
Before me stood a figure that resembled a human, pletely different from the skeletal appearance it had before.
At the same time, a notification from the World System appeared.
[Ding¡]
"A D-rank monster has inherited a name."
"It has sessfully evolved."
"It has gained sentience."
"Its grade has been sessfully upgraded."
"All stat attributes have been increased."
"A new grade list has been generated for naming monsters."
"This rank is also applicable to the Summon profession."
"Soldier."
"General."
"Commander."
"King."
"Emperor."
Diablo [D] [Commander]
Strength: 500
Constitution: 450
Intelligence: 550
Spirit: 600
Grade: Commander
Rank: D
"Master," Diablo kneeled before me.
"Okay, you may rise," I said softly, pleased with the fact that it now possessed a body morefortable than that of a skeleton.
During this time, the hunt on the first floor had also concluded, and all the skeletons gathered before me.
"Alright, let''s move on to the second floor," I announced, entering the ck hole-like entrance that instantly teleported us to the next level.
"Diablo, from now on, you will oversee all the skeletons and ensure they hunt every monster in the dungeon," I instructed.
"Understood, master," Diablo replied happily, rying themand to the other skeletons, who began their search for monsters and delved deeper into the dungeon.
As they set off to hunt ape monsters, I sat down and started to replenish my mana using a basic meditation technique.
"Oh my god! At this rate, I''ll never recover 5000 mana points," I thought, frustrated with the slow recovery rate.
A prompt appeared from Neo.
[Ding]
"Host, I suggest you purchase an A-grade mana technique."
"How foolish of me to not have considered buying a mana technique," I scolded myself.
[Ding]
"Sufficient Exchange Points."
"Mana Technique [A] has been purchased."
"50,000 E.P has been deducted."
I stood up, realizing that the second floor was about to be cleared, and said, "Neo, link to another F-grade dungeon."
[Understood.]
"Goblin Dungeon [F] has been linked."
As expected, the second floor was cleared in just 10 minutes, and all the skeletons reappeared before me, led by Diablo.
"Master, all the monsters have been eliminated," Diablo reported happily.
"Excellent job," I praised him, grateful for him handling half of the responsibilities.
"It only took 30 minutes to clear an F-grade dungeon," I mused, opening my inventory to inspect the loot.
[Inventory: [200 F-grade and 4 E-grade strength stat crystals, 100 F-grade constitution stat crystals, 152 monster carcasses, 3705 gold coins]]
Chapter 14 - 14: Chaos Training
Chapter 14: Chaos Training
"Oh!" I eximed joyfully, turning to Neo with excitement. "Neo, transport us to the Goblin Dungeon."
[Understood.]
"You have been transported to Goblin Dungeon [F]."
As Neo''s prompts sounded, we found ourselves in a goblin dungeon.
Once again, Imanded Diablo to eliminate all the monsters in the dungeon.
While they were busy hunting, I focused on recovering my mana using the newly acquired meditation technique: Mana Recovery Technique [A].
Once more, they swiftly cleared both floors in just 25 minutes before being transported to another F-grade dungeon.
This process continued for about 4 hours as cleared 7 F-grade dungeons.
The only challenge we encountered was in the Ghost F-grade dungeon, as the monsters had a spiritual nature.
Nevertheless, we managed to clear it in approximately 40 minutes.
In thest F-grade dungeon, after defeating all the monsters on both floors, I stored their remains in the undead space and instructed Neo, "Transport me to my room."
[Understood.]
[Your room has been linked]
[You have reached your room.]
I quickly copsed onto my bed and released Diablo, as he could now live and appear as a human.
"Alright, Diablo, do as you wish," I told him, turning my attention to the loot in my inventory."Neo, disy inventory," I requested, and a column disying my inventory appeared.
Inventory: [600 F-grade strength stat crystals, 600 F-grade constitution stat crystals, 400 F-grade intelligence stat crystals, 400 F-grade spirit stat crystals, 28 E-grade strength stat crystals, 1064 monster carcasses, 4645 gold coins]
I felt quite satisfied upon seeing all these spoils.
A mischievous idea crossed my mind, and I asked Neo, "Can I send all these skeletons to farm dungeons without my presence?"
"It is possible," Neo replied.
"You can grant Diablo ess to the system through the Link auxiliary function."
"Oh!" I eximed in surprise, but it was still within my eptable range. But before proceeding, why not name another D-rank skeleton?
"Neo, transport me and Diablo to another F-grade dungeon," I requested, as naming a skeleton in my room could attract attention.
[Understood.]
[Orc Dungeon [F] has been linked.]
[You have been transported to Orc Dungeon [F]]
I found myself on the first floor of the orc dungeon and ordered Diablo to guard me, as I had no desire to fight any monsters.
I released a D-rank skeleton from the undead space and bestowed a name upon it.
The process continued for about 5 to 6 minutes, and the same evolution urred as with Diablo.
*Katch * Katcha*
The sound of breaking cocoons filled the air, and the skeleton emerged from within, fully evolved. Simultaneously, notifications from the World System appeared.
[Ding¡]
"D-rank monster has inherited a name."
"It has sessfully evolved."
"It has gained sentience"
"All stat attributes have been increased."
Knife [D] [General]
Strength: 400
Constitution: 350
Intelligence: 450
Spirit: 500
Grade: General
Rank: D
"Master," Knife spoke softly.
"Alright," I replied, releasing all 11 skeletons from the undead space.
"Diablo and Knife, both of you are responsible for protecting all the skeletons and clearing as many F-rank dungeons as possible," I instructed them gently, knowing that they would serve me for a lifetime.
"Yes, master. We will also make sure to take breaks for rest," Diablo replied.
"Neo, link both Diablo and Knife to the system and provide them with all themon knowledge of this world," I requested.
[Understood.]
"Diablo and Knife have been linked with the system, granting them ess to all limited functions."
"Common knowledge has been transferred to both of them."
"Diablo and Knife, I assume you have already grasped everything. Is that correct?" I inquired.
"Yes, master, we have fully understood," they both affirmed.
"Very well, then. I''ll take my leave," I replied, being transported back to my room.
Once again, I copsed onto my bed and quickly entered sleep mode.
"Huh! Where am I?" I eximed as I awoke.
[Host, you are currently undergoing Chaos training.]
"Oh, right, how could I forget?" I remarked, recalling that I had invested in Chaos training to maximize my self-improvement time.
"Neo, what''s the time?" I inquired, realizing I hadn''t checked earlier.
[Host, it is currently 12:00 midnight.]
[You will wake up at 6:00 a.m., which means you have 12 hours remaining for training.]
"Ah, 12 hours to train; that should be enough," I thought to myself, nning to make the most of the avable time.
As I organized my training routine, a notification from the World System caught my attention.
[World System]
[You have gained a buff]
[Mana Recovery 1000%]
"Oh, a buff!" I eximed, realizing I had received a mana recovery boost in Phase I of the training.
I proceeded to structure my training routine for the next 12 hours in Chaos training.
0 - 1: Utilize gravity bands and belt exercises.
1 - 2: Convert mana into undead energy until it reaches the bottom.
2 - 13: Engage in simtion training with monsters and yers.
With my n in ce, I diligently followed the training routine.
Chapter 15 - 15: System Mall: Deactivated
Chapter 15:?System Mall: Deactivated
April 3, 2600
6:00 a.m.
The real-world time passed swiftly, and the sun began to illuminate the surroundings with its warm light.
"Young master, wake up," a maid gently tried to rouse me from my sleep.
"Okay, I''m awake. I''ll freshen up," I replied, starting my morning routine. An hourter...
Havingpleted all my morning tasks, I sat down, reflecting, "That wasn''t just training; it was a relentless battle for survival."
shbacks...
The first two hours went smoothly, with gradual improvements in my stats.
However, from the third hour onward, it turned into a nightmare.
Hordes of monsters and yers relentlessly pursued me in the simtion training.
I died so many times that I became desensitized to death, but I persevered because it was all part of the training.
Despite the difficulties, the training was fruitful, strengthening my foundation and enabling me to absorb all the stat crystals.
Additionally, I sessfully upgraded my techniques and skills to a certain extent.
The mechanics of chaos training seemed impossible, but in this absurd world, anything was possible.
I convinced myself to push forward.
shbacks end...
Present...
I clenched my hand, feeling that my stat points had indeed significantly increased.
Curious about my progress, I checked my status and saw a smile bloom on my face.
"All my stat points are maxed out, and my techniques and skills have also upgraded to a certain level."
[Note: I have upgraded all the techniques and skills that were frequently used during the simtion training.]
Suddenly, a memory resurfaced in my mind.
"Neo, transport me to where all the skeletons are," I calmly requested, recalling that I had instructed them to clear as many F-grade dungeons as possible in 7 hours.
[Alright]
I found myself transported back to the same dungeon.
"Master," a voice reached my ears as the skeletons gathered around me, having already cleared all the monsters in the dungeon.
I nced at my mana points, which had reached 16,000, and decided to name as many skeletons as I could. The naming process continued.
[Ding...]

"Master," everyone said softly as they emerged from their cocoons.
"Alright," I replied and pondered for a moment before saying, "All of you have gained sentience, and I''ve decided that you will live like a family from now on."
"Okay, master."
"Alright, let''s go," I said, transporting back to my room.
"What a mess," I thought, deciding to call my uncle for assistance.
Butler''s POV...
I was managing the businesses with Zhu Zhen when a phone call came in.
"Uncle, I need your help," came Sam''s voice from the other side.
"Did something happen?" I asked quickly.
"No, uncle, calm down. Nothing bad has happened, don''t worry."
"Then tell me, what kind of help do you need?" I inquired.
"Uncle, I need your help in constructing a building that can amodate around 200 people."
"What! 200 people? Young master, what are you nning?" I narrowed my eyes, concerned.
"It''s a secret," he teased.
Sighing, I replied, "Alright, as you wish, young master. I will construct a building for 200 people next to the vi.
But always ensure your safety and never put yourself in danger for others, okay?"
"Okay, uncle, I promise not to put myself in danger," he assured me.
"Alright, young master," I said helplessly.
"Thanks, uncle," he expressed his gratitude before ending the call.
Sam''s POV...
"Huh! The issue has been resolved," I thought, feeling the pressure ease.
"I''ll take a break for a while," I told the skeletons, sending them back to clear the dungeon in Undead form to avoid attracting attention.
"Let''s see how much they''ve aplished in the 7 hours of hunting," I pondered and summoned the inventory panel.
Inventory: [4000 F-grade stat crystals and 84 E-grade strength stat crystals, 3164 monster carcasses, 15,285 gold coins]
"What! 4000 F-grade stat crystals!" I eximed in disbelief at the staggering numbers.
"Neo, how many dungeons did they clear?" I asked.
[14 F-grade dungeons]
"No wonder I have such a ridiculous number of stat crystals," I thought.
As I reached my school, a notification popped up from Neo:
[Neo]
[The main function ''System Mall'' of the Supreme Exchange System has been deactivated for 3 years]
"Well, I''ve already purchased all the necessary items," I thought to myself as I arrived at school.
In ss Xth, the homeroom teacher announced the results from the novice dungeon. Wang Feng gleefully informed me, "Sam, I''m in 3rd ce."
Smirking, I replied, "I''m in 1st ce."
"You''re leading by a mile, boss," Wang Feng teased.
"Fatty, I know what you mean," Sam retorted, rolling his eyes.
"Boss, Su Yanran was checking you out just now," Wang Feng eximed mischievously.
"You''re such a fatty!" I yfully cursed and began to lightly hit him.
Su Yanran''s perspective:
"I got 2nd ce as expected, but I was outperformed in every field," Su Yanran thought sadly.
Unconsciously, an image of Sam crossed her mind; he excelled in every aspect of education, and she couldn''t help but steal a nce at him.
As she turned her head, Wang Feng caught her in the act.
"What?" she eximed in her mind, feeling a faint blush creeping onto her cheeks.
She had inadvertently witnessed a teasing moment between Sam and Wang Feng as she turned her head.
...
"Oh, I''m in 20th ce, which means I''ll be in Section A."
"Thank goodness! I''m in 50th ce; otherwise, I''d have been in Section B."
"How is this possible? I''m in 80th ce."
Many students cheered at their ranks, while others cursed and regretted not preparing enough.
Chapter 16 - 16: Principal
Chapter 16: Principal
Many students cheered at their ranks, while others cursed and regretted not preparing enough.
"Alright, settle down, everyone. You still have plenty of opportunities in the future, and I have more news to share with all of you," the homeroom teacher said, soothing the atmosphere.
"Can you guys guess who''s in first ce?" the teacher asked, adopting a teaching tone.
As soon as these words were spoken, all students turned their heads toward Sam, ming him for their ranking.
Sam, understanding the situation, coughed and pretended to be engrossed in something, trying to hide his embarrassment.
Su Yanran and Wang Feng, who witnessed the scene, chuckled and exchanged knowing smiles.
"Okay, it seems you all already know. So, focus more on your studies, especially those heading to Section B. You have plenty of opportunities in business, education, and other fields," the homeroom teacher encouraged the students.
"Yeah, I should concentrate more on academics since my talent grade is F."
"I''m thinking the same."
Many students, who had seemed disheartened earlier, now appeared revitalized.
"They don''t yet realize the harshness of the real world. Time will fill in all the gaps in their understanding," Sam thought, reflecting on his memories from his past life.
"Alright, everyone, settle down. Students ranked below 50, please move to Section B, while the rest will move to Section A," the homeroom teacher announced and began organizing everyone ordingly.
As I was heading toward Section A, my steps faltered when I heard someone call my name.
"Sam, the Principal wants to see you in the office," the homeroom teacher informed me.
"Okay, sir," I replied, heading toward the principal''s office, pondering which reward I should choose.
¡
Principal''s Office
A middle-aged man sat majestically, yet his face and body showed no signs of aging, as if time had no effect on him.
He elegantly checked some documents, murmuring, "Oh! He has a perfect score in everything," while going through one of the papers.
*Knock*.
A sound echoed from the office gate.
"Come in," the principal replied calmly.
As soon as Sam entered, he was startled by the sudden prompts from the ''World System,'' but he quickly rposed himself and said, "Sir, the homeroom teacher said that you called me."
Sam''s focus remained on the mysterious prompts.
"Yes, I called you," the principal confirmed.
"You should already know that you came first in the novice dungeon, and you cleared it in only 6 hours instead of 12 hours, breaking a 20-year record," the principal calmly stated.
"Yes, sir, I know," Sam repliedposedly.
"What rewards do you want? As long as your request doesn''t vite the rules," the principal inquired with seriousness.
"What!" Sam momentarily lost hisposure but swiftly regained control, asking, "Sir, I didn''t understand. I recall that the previous student who broke the record didn''t get a choice for any reward."
"Oh! It seems that you still haven''t read our school''s history," the principal teased.
Embarrassed on the surface, Sam''s heart raced with anticipation after hearing the prompt and dying the response.
The principal keenly noticed his reaction, but he continued, "It has be a tradition that any student breaking the record time of the novice dungeon clearance will receive rewards. However, in the past, the record time was 10 hours."
"As for your reward, you should understand that your novice dungeon clearance time is significantly lowerpared to the previous one. That''s why I''ve decided to give you the chance to choose any reward or request, as long as it doesn''t vite the rules," the principal exined.
"Oh! I cleared it in only 6 hours, which is ahead of the previous record by 4 hours," Sam pretended to be surprised by his clearance record and quickly concealed his apprehension.
"Okay, what do you want?" the principal inquired seriously.
Pretending to think for a moment, Sam grinned inwardly at his luck and calmly replied, "Sir, I want to meet a high-ranking yer whose profession is rted to appraising."
"What!" The principal momentarily lost hisposure due to the absurd request but quicklyposed himself, saying, "You should already know that there is no high-ranking yer with the profession of ''Appraisal'' in Province Xth. His time is too precious, even the Federation respects him with two points of respect."
"I know, sir, and that''s precisely why I''m using this request," Sam said, knowing his request might still be seen as a bit absurd, but it held immense importance to him.
"You really put me in a tricky situation," the principal sighed, and after a brief pause, he continued, "Okay, I will somehow arrange a meeting with him."
"Thank you, sir," Sam replied gratefully, well aware of how difficult it would be for him to meet the high-ranking yer.
"Okay, for now, go to the ssroom," the principal instructed.
"Alright, sir," Sam replied, leaving the principal''s office.
As soon as Sam exited, the principal licked his lips, amused by the intriguing young student.
Sam''s mind was filled with thoughts of all the prompts he received, making it both a bewildering and exhrating day.
Reaching the ssroom gate, Sam asked, "May Ie in, sir?"
"Come in," the ss teacher said, and Sam entered ss Xth, Section A, and took his seat.
Wang Feng, curious about the reward, asked, "What did you choose as your reward?"
"I requested to meet a high-ranking yer," Sam replied calmly, knowing that Wang Feng would soon find out the specifics.
"What!" Wang Feng eximed, "Boss, I don''t know why you asked for that kind of reward, but I sense you are up to something. Am I right?"
Sam put on a surprised facial expression and teased Wang Feng for being observant.
"F*ck you, Boss!" Wang Feng cursed yfully, knowing Sam was just messing with him.
Time passed with theoretical and practical training, and Sam delved further into the potentials unlocked by the ''World System.''
Later, in his vi, Sam finished his lunch and went about conversing with the household members, such as Butler, Zhu Zhen, and others, before retiring to his room to rest.
Chapter 17 - 17: Devour
Chapter 17: Devour
Sam couldn''t help but be impressed by how deeply the principal had hidden himself, to the point where even Neo hadn''t informed him.
Nevertheless, as long as the principal didn''t show any hostility towards him, Sam didn''t see it as a significant issue.
In a shback...
Upon entering the office, Sam received a prompt from the World System.
[World System]
[Ding...]
[Your Talent: Copy [iplete EX] has the urge to copy Talent: Ego [S]]
[Do you agree?]
[Yes/No]
The shock of the prompt jolted Sam, considering his Talent had never shown any signs of activity since awakening. Furthermore, his status panel provided no details about it.
Talent: Copy [iplete EX]
-???
-???
Grade - Iplete EX
The enigmatic introduction of his Talent left Sam in wonder.
Sam hesitated to agree and consulted Neo to confirm if it was the right course of action.
[Neo]
[Yes, host, it is indeed the right direction.]
[Every EX-grade Talent is akin to a single entity.]
[Your talent is also an EX grade, but it remains iplete, requiring a consciousness and an appraising talent to reachpletion.]
[Your talent may gain consciousness after devouring Talent: Ego [S]]
[Host, I advise you never to show any ws before this person.]
Neo''s assurance dissipated Sam''s unnecessary worry, and he agreed to the copy.
As for Neo''sst prompt, Sam decided to focus on it at another time.
[World System]
[Copying Talent: Ego [S] is in process]
[Please present near the target for 1 minute]
[Process 1%... 50%... 100%]
[Copy sessful]
The process swiftlypleted, and yet another prompt appeared, this time an outrageous one, although within an eptable range as Neo exined the significance of fur rted to it.
[Ding¡]
[Talent: Copy [iplete EX has the urge to devour Talent: Ego [S]]
[Do you agree?]
[Yes/No]
As soon as the prompts appeared, an unfamiliar voice startled me.
"Huh! Where am I?"
"Why do I feel this chill?"
"Eh! Who are you?"
I quickly realized that if my talent, Copy, was used to replicate another talent, it duplicated everything exactly.
The voice seemed to emanate from an unknown ce.
The chill I felt could be attributed to the Devour property of my talent: Copy.
During that moment, I also recognized that the voice belonged to ''Ego,'' so I decided to halt the devouring process and do it at home.
I caught a glimpse of details about the sacrifice requirement but refrained from reading further, fearing the principal might notice something off.
Although I was quite shocked, I knew the principal couldn''t openly do anything to me, so my worry faded.
*shback Ends...*
*In the Present...*
His voice still echoed in my ears, I thought.
"Show ego details," I murmured, and a panel appeared.
Talent: Ego[S]
- It has the ability to boost all your stats 5 times for 30 minutes
- A single entity that gains consciousness through rank upgradation.
- Grade: S
- Upgrade Condition: Sacrifice the souls of 5 S-rank yers.
"What an evil talent," I thought, recognizing its effect of boosting all stats by 5 times, making it an outrageous cheat.
"As for the sacrifice, I won''t pretend to be a saint. If the condition applies, I''ll do it too," I decided, as Copy was my main talent. The ego talent was of no consequence to me.
"Devour," I replied to the world system.
[Ding¡]
[Talent: Copy [iplete EX] processing devour of Talent: Ego S]]
[Devouring process 10%... 50%... 100%]
[Devour processpleted]
[Ding...]
[Talent: Copy [Iplete EX] has gained consciousness]
As soon as the processpleted, Ego''s voice vanished, and another inhumane voice echoed in my brain.
"Master, did you awaken me?"
"Yeah, and you are?" I asked."Master, I''m your talent consciousness," the voice came into my mind, and I eximed, "Oh."
But the voice continued, "Master, I need an appraising talent to help you distinguish different talents and determine if you should copy them or not."
"Alright," I agreed.
"Master, for now, I''ll enter a dormant state to receive all knowledge rted to this talent, and when the timees, you''ll know all the details," the talent replied before entering the dormant state.
"What," I eximed at the surprising response, realizing that today was truly a lucky day.
"Thank God," I thought, relieved that I had already reserved a high-grade talent for Copy to replicate.
After these events, I decided to examine the results of my chaos training.
"Neo, transport me to Diablo," I said.
"Master, we have cleared all 12 dungeons," Diablo humbly replied.
"Okay, let''s farm as much as we can," I instructed every skeleton, and I began battling monsters to test the results of my chaos training.
A mass massacre of monsters in the dungeon ensued.
*Rip, monster! *
---
**Su Yanran''s Perspective**
A vi, three to five times bigger than Sam''s, came into view.
"Yaner, what''s the matter?" A middle-aged man asked affectionately.
"Dad, I want to go to the dungeon," she replied.
Her father, Su Sen, questioned curiously, "Have you already practiced your profession''s skill?"
"Yes, Dad. That''s why I want to go to the dungeon," she said, pouting as she recalled the scene with Sam.
Her dad couldn''t hide a smile, teasing her, "Is my princess eager for somepetition?"
"Dad," she pouted, puffing her cheeks.
"Alright, alright, I understand. I''ll make the arrangements, and your ''Federation yer'' card will arrive in 30 minutes," her dad replied helplessly.
"Thanks, Dad, and I''ll get ready," she replied before heading to her training room.
As she disappeared from her father''s sight, he murmured, "Shadow," and two people appeared out of thin air.
"You are responsible for her protection, and you must gather any information about her that I''m unaware of," he said coldly.
Both men vanished as if they never existed.
---
**Back to Su Yanran''s Perspective**
"I have everything prepared," she said, cing her necessary belongings into a storage ring.
"Sam, one day I''ll defeat you," she murmured, determination sparking in her eyes.
But the moment passed, reced by a blush as she recalled the mesmerizing scene, and she shouted, "Bastard, how dare you captivate me."
Chapter 18 - 18: Goblin Dungeon
Chapter 18: Goblin Dungeon
But the moment passed, reced by a blush as she recalled the mesmerizing scene, and she shouted, "Bastard, how dare you captivate me."
Her history with Sam goes back to their time in the same federation school, in the same ss since ss 1st.
Until ss 5th, they were nicknamed first and second rank, respectively.
She didn''t intend topete with him initially, but over time, her pride was hurt as she excelled in everything, yet couldn''t defeat him.
Unbeknownst to her or anyone else, she began to unconsciouslypete with Sam from ss 5th onwards.
Her interest was piqued as she wondered why she couldn''t defeat him, but she suppressed her feelings, thinking that she would prevail after talent awakening. However, she still couldn''t win a single time.
Unknowingly, she started developing feelings for him amidst this unconscious rivalry.
"Yaner, your ''Federation yer'' card has arrived," her dad''s voice reached her ears.

**Wang Feng''s Perspective**
"Feng, your ''Federation yer'' card has arrived," a voice sounded in his ear.
"Dad, I''ming," he replied.
"Oh, man! It takes 2 days to arrive just for a ''Federation yer'' card," he murmured as he descended to the first floor using the stairs.
What does destiny hold for all three of them?
¡.
Outside the Goblin Dungeon [F]
A queue of eager yers had formed, patiently waiting for their turn to enter.
Among them, a group of six young men had gathered, and after a while, their moment came.
"Feng, let''s go in," urged a 20-year-old man.
"Absolutely, I''m right behind you," Wang Feng replied with palpable excitement as they stepped into the Goblin Dungeon together.
They teleported to the first floor, fully aware of the potential dangers ahead.
"Stay vignt, everyone," their leadermanded.
"Understood," the group replied, their focus honed on the surroundings.
"Feng, goblins up ahead," Wang Feng alerted the group.
"Alright, let''s begin," the leader instructed, and each member swiftly assumed their designated positions.
"Feng, take the tank position."
"Mage, unleash your fire attacks."
"Healer, be ready to provide support."
"I''ll engage in closebat, and you two back me up."
With their roles established, the groupmenced their hunt against the goblins.
Meanwhile, a girl approached a middle-aged man near the dungeon entrance.
"But, miss, it could be dangerous," the middle-aged man hesitated.
"Yes, it might be, but I can handle it," she asserted firmly.
"Miss, alright, but at least go with this yer; he can assist you in critical situations," the middle-aged man suggested, indicating an E-rank yer nearby.
"Fine," she reluctantly agreed, recognizing the middle-aged man''s genuine concern for her safety.
Forming a group with random yers, the girl and the young man entered the dungeon, while the middle-aged man watched from the sidelines, silently worrying about the consequences of any mishap."Let''s wait for our opportunity," she advised, patiently awaiting their turn to enter.
After a few minutes, they finally entered the Goblin Dungeon and found themselves on the first floor.
"Stay on high alert, everyone," the girl cautioned as a horde of goblins closed in on them.
With resolute determination, the group assumed their positions and courageously engaged in battle against the goblins.
However, unbeknownst to them, three yers lurked in the shadows, observing their every move.
"That girl is quite beautiful. I think..."
Before mob1 could finish speaking, mob2 interrupted sharply, "Focus on the mission. You know the consequences."
Both mob1 and mob3 shuddered, recalling past experiences, and replied, "Yes, let''s focus on the mission."
The three yers manipted the goblins, directing them in swarms towards the unsuspecting yers.
The E-rank yer sensed something amiss and warned the group, "This isn''t normal; something fishy is going on. Be prepared for unexpected attacks and conserve your energy."
"What do you mean, this isn''t normal?" the girl eximed, rmed by the E-rank yer''s words.
"Yes, miss. I''ll do my best to protect you, but please conserve your energy for unforeseen situations," he advised, his eyes narrowed with suspicion.
"Okay," she replied, alert and cautious.
Meanwhile, the three hidden yers prepared for their nefarious n.
"Is everything ready?" mob2 asked.
"Yes, everything''s in ce," mob1 and mob3 replied."Alright, let''s execute it," mob2 dered.
The other two yers acknowledged and took their designated positions.
"I''ll count to three, and at three, initiate the n," mob2 instructed with utmost seriousness.
"Understood," they replied in unison.
"One, two, three, go!" mob2 shouted into a strangemunication device.
As soon as he did, an unnatural phenomenon began to unfold, rming all yers both inside and outside the Goblin Dungeon.
"Miss, something significant is about to happen," the E-rank yer suddenly shouted.
The girl trembled at his warning but kept herposure.
"Everyone, find a safe ce to hide," the E-rank yer called out, admiring the girl''s ability to stayposed in such a dire situation.
"Okay," they acknowledged, taking precautions.
In another part of the dungeon, Wang Feng and his group also became aware of the unusual events.
"Stay vignt," their leadermanded, and everyone readied themselves for potential threats.
Chapter 19 - 19: Master’s Friend
Chapter 19: Master''s Friend
"Stay vignt," their leadermanded, and everyone readied themselves for potential threats.
"Leader, I sense something major is about to go down," one young man remarked.
"I know," the leader replied solemnly. He then instructed Wang Feng to stay close to the group in case of unexpected developments.
"Alright, leader," Wang Feng replied, cursing his luck at the turn of events.
At the same time, Sam, coincidentally, found himself in the same dungeon.
"What''s happening in the dungeon?" Sam wondered. He had cleared a dungeon earlier, and Neo''s prompt informed him of the floor merging and upgrading.
"What a devious n," Sam thought with a grin. "Those attempting it are in for a nasty surprise."
He ordered Diablo, Knife, and Small to pause their hunt and wait for the dungeon''s upgrade. Intrigued by the impending event, he began to scout the area.
Ten minutester, a brand-new E-rank floor formed as the dungeon underwent its upgrade, resulting in all the goblins'' ranks increasing.
"Use the teleportation item, quickly," mob2 urged.
"Okay," both mob1 and mob3 replied, arranging the teleportation stones in a peculiar pattern.
"What an exhausting day," both mob members muttered before reporting to mob2, "Everything is prepared ording to the master''s instructions."
"Alright," mob2 responded, cing a strange, green, glistening object amidst the pattern.
All the teleportation stones lit up, and five D-rank yers teleported into the dungeon.
In another location, several D-rank yers had gathered.
"Leader, do you think they can handle their task?" a D-rank yer asked with doubt in their voice.
"Let''s wait and see," the leader replied calmly. He understood their reservations and sought to reassure them.
"Don''t fret. They may be E-rank, but mob2 will manage everythingpetently."
Suddenly, another D-rank yer eximed, "Leader, the teleportation stone has activated."
"Prepare yourselves," the leader instructed.
"Hail the ''Great Devil Emperor''!" everyone chanted as five D-rank yers entered the teleportation radius.
As soon as the five D-rank yers arrived, a chilling and blood-curdling sensation permeated the area.
"You''ve done admirably," one D-rank yer said with a smile.
"No, leader, it''s our privilege to serve the ''Great Devil Emperor''," mob2 quickly responded.
"Indeed, you''re correct. Serving the ''Great Devil Emperor'' is an honor," another D-rank yer chimed in.
"Very well, let''s focus on our mission," the third D-rank yer urged, and they ceased their conversation.
With malicious intent, they set out to hunt both yers and monsters.
...
Sam''s POV:
Sam''s eyes narrowed as Diablo ryed the rming news.
"Master, someone is hunting both yers and monsters," Diablo reported after his inspection.
"Yeah, I see," Sam replied, his mind racing with possibilities.
After a moment of contemtion, he made a decision. "Protect them if you can identify anyone, otherwise, let them be."
"What could their goal be?" Sam wondered aloud before returning to his own tasks.
Unbeknownst to him, chaos had erupted just outside the dungeon''s outskirts due to the ongoing situation.
"Kill them all!" dered the first D-rank yer, unching an attack on Su Yanran''s group.
In the ensuing struggle, random yers were swiftly defeated, and an E-rank yer found himself desperately fighting against a D-rank opponent.
"Miss, please run!" the E-rank yer shouted urgently, sacrificing himself to buy her some time. Su Yanran''s desperate pleas for help fell on deaf ears.
"Hey, what are you doing? Kill her!" the second D-ranker ordered angrily.
"What''s the rush? Let''s savor the moment," the third D-ranker grinned.
"Yeah, it''s been a while since someone sacrificed themselves for another," the fourth D-ranker chuckled.
"Footsteps," announced mob 2 suddenly.
"Sister-inw!" a loud voice came from the other side.
"Wang Feng!" Su Yanran eximed in surprise upon seeing him, her expression quickly shifting to fear.
Tearfully, she urged him to run.
"Another prey has arrived," the fifth D-ranker sneered.
Unbeknownst to everyone, a pair of prying eyes observed their actions.
As soon as Wang Feng and his group entered, these eyes identified him and whispered, "Isn''t he the master''s friend?"
"Master, I saw your friend," Diablo quicklymunicated through telepathy.
"Wait, I''ming. Recall all the skeletons there," Sam ordered swiftly.
Using his skill, "Absolute Concealment," Sam vanished into thin air. "Let''s find out what''s happening in this dungeon," he murmured. With his C-rank yer stats, he swiftly reached Diablo''s location.
Upon arrival, he was shocked by the state of Wang Feng and Su Yanran. Quickly regaining hisposure, he barked angrily, "Diablo, incapacitate these yers, but do not kill them."
"Understood, master," replied all the skeletons in unison, readying themselves to fight the D-rank yers.
"Huh! I sense a chill," the first D-rank yer muttered suddenly, his attention drawn to the skeletons.
"Skeletons in the goblin dungeon," reported mob 2.
Hearing mob 2''s report, the D-rank yers realized that something was amiss.
"Fifth D-rank, appraise their ranks," the second D-rank yer ordered, sensing the strong aura of blood emanating from the skeletons.
"They are E and D-rank skeletons," the fifth D-rank yer eximed.
After a moment of hesitation, he added anxiously, "I can''t inspect the stat points of D-rank skeletons!"
Chapter 20 - 20: E grade dungeon’s core
Chapter 20:?E grade dungeon''s core
After a moment of hesitation, he added anxiously, "I can''t inspect the stat points of D-rank skeletons!"
"What! You can''t inspect their stats?" the third D-rank yer eximed in disbelief.
Mob 2 quickly analyzed the situation. "They only have three, but we have five D-rank yers to counter them."
"Yeah, Mob 2¡"
"Enough chatter!" Diablo interrupted them, his grin widening. "Let''s hunt."
"Let''s hunt!" the D-rank yers echoed.
Sam, observing from the shadows, sneered at their futile attempts.
The vast difference in stats between the D-rank skeletons and the yers quickly became evident.
As Sam had predicted, the yers were swiftly incapacitated within five minutes. Theyy on the ground, utterly defeated.
For Sam, this was routine, but for the surviving yers, it was a shocking and terrifying experience.
It took them a moment toprehend that they had been defeated by skeletons.
Their caster remained oblivious to the truth.
The survivors, except for Su Yanran, were consumed by fear.
She, however, felt an intuitive connection to these skeletons and their caster.
Following the battle, Sam ordered Diablo, "Take these yers to a safe location and instruct the remaining skeletons to eliminate all the monsters."
"Yes, master," Diablo replied, moving the yers to a secure area while the other skeletons set off to hunt monsters.
Sam and Diablo arrived at the safe location, where the defeated yersy.
"Netherworld Soul Devouring," Sam murmured, summoning blue mes that enveloped their bodies.
Though already incapacitated, the yers'' bodies writhed in pain as unearthly screams filled the dungeon. In a sh, memories flooded Sam''s mind.
"What a sinister n. They were going to sacrifice all the yers in the goblin dungeon, artificially upgrade it, and im the E-grade dungeon core," Sam thought, his lip curling in disgust.

He recalled the rules rted to dungeon cores:
1. At least one yer rank must be higher than the dungeon''s grade.
2. A substantial sacrifice of yers and items is required for the upgrade.
3. The core''s location is revealed only during the upgrade process.

...
"How did they discover this, a secret even the ''Federation'' normal authority doesn''t know? Only the high authority of the Federation can know. Are they involved?" Sam mused, realizing he could sell the dungeon core to Neo.
"Diablo, let''s go," Sam said, leading the way to the dungeon core''s location.
Outside the dungeon
Su Sen received a report from a middle-aged man concerning his daughter. Enraged, he mobilized the family''s power and the ''Federation branch.''
"What''s happening here?" he demanded furiously from the ''Federation dungeon manager.''
"Sir, we don''t know how it happened," the manager replied cautiously.
"I didn''t ask about that! I want to know the situation in the goblin dungeon," Su Sen bellowed, his anger palpable.
The manager trembled as he replied hastily, "Sir, a cult group is attempting to forcefully upgrade the dungeon."
[Author: I will not describe novice fights as it may bore the readers. If you still desire every fight to be detailed, pleasement.]
....
Sam perspective...
Sam arrived at the precise location where a cavernous opening in the monolith wall caught his attention.
He knew this marked the culmination of his quest, where he couldy im to the dungeon''s core by tapping into the memories of the cult''s people for its whereabouts.
Stepping into the cave, a surge of energy whisked past him and Diablo as they ventured deeper.
Inside, they discovered an intricately designed pattern surrounding a ck stone emanating a potent, enigmatic energy.
A prompt materialized abruptly.
[Neo]
[Host, you can''t physically touch this core, but you can store it in the inventory]
"Oh!" I eximed, recalling the material scorched by my mes.
"Could that material be utilized to store the core?" I inquired, puzzled by the possibilities.
[Indeed, that material possesses unique properties suitable for this purpose.]
"Damn! I lost my investment," I thought, regaining myposure and muttering, "Inventory."
[Auto pick auxiliary function activated]
[E grade dungeon''s core stored in the inventory]
Without dy, the dungeon began to disintegrate, prompting me to urgently request, "Neo, transport me to the room."
¡.
Outside of the Dungeon
Su Yanran''s father, anxiously awaiting his daughter''s safe return, heard a sudden sound that filled him with apprehension.
"Sir, the dungeon is disintegrating," the manager replied, his anxiety palpable, fearing the worst.
Su Sen stood up abruptly, bracing himself for the worst possible oue, vowing, "If anything happens to my daughter, I will obliterate every cult in this world."
¡
10 minutes earlier
As soon as the skeletons exterminated the cult''s members and dispersed to eliminate the monsters throughout the dungeon, only Wang Feng''s party, Su Yanran, and some E rank yers survived.
Su Yanran rushed to an unconscious E rank yer, seeking help from Wang Feng''s party.
"Healer, help him," Wang Feng and the others implored simultaneously.
"Alright," the healer responded, mencing a healing spell.
The injured E rank yer gradually recovered from his light and severe injuries, a look of relief washing over his face as he rxed.
"I can do no more," the healermented helplessly.
Approaching the healer, Su Yanran expressed her gratitude, insisting, "Thanks, if you ever need anything, please contact me."
Chapter 21 - 21: Devil Cult
Chapter 21:?Devil Cult
Approaching the healer, Su Yanran expressed her gratitude, insisting, "Thanks, if you ever need anything, please contact me."
"No, it''s my duty," the healer demurred, showing a hand gesture.
However, Su Yanran gently grasped her hand, offering her father''s card, and said, "For you, it may seem trivial, but it means the important to me."
Wang Feng approached Su Yanran, offering soothing words, "Su Yan, calm down."
"Alright," she responded, and a hush settled over the dungeon area.
A young man sensed something amiss, saying cautiously, "Something is happening," while another young man anxiously voiced his hope that nothing worse would transpire.
Before the leader could speak, the dungeon disintegrated, causing them all to copse.
A voice called out, "Yaner."
She turned and saw her father, rushing toward him with speed. Embracing his daughter, Su Sen felt a surge of emotions, hearing her tearful plea, ming herself for everything that had transpired, and begging him to save the unconscious yer.
"Alright," Su Sen gently patted her head and instructed the healer, "Save him."
"Yes, sir," they replied, moving swiftly to save the injured.
Witnessing the scene, the leader eximed, "She is the Ice Guild leader''s daughter," prompting one young man to envy the lucky healer.
Another young man asked, "Wang Feng, how do you know her?"
As Wang Feng engaged in conversation with the parties, the focus shifted back to Su Sen, and everything rted to him back at the house.
¡.
Devil''s Cult
In a deste area near Province Xth, a massive buildingy concealed beneath the surface, surrounded by numerous yers except one man.
A middle-aged man sat majestically, inquiring calmly, "How is the mission going?"
The man shuddered, answering fearfully, "Master, they all perished."
Upon hearing the news of failure, the middle-aged man shook his head and asked, "Were you the leader of this mission?"
"Yes, master," he replied fearfully.
The middle-aged man gestured, and a screech echoed in the hall, reducing the man to a dry corpse, with his blood and cultivation absorbed into the middle-aged man.
"If you were the leader, then you must bear responsibility for the failure," the middle-aged man murmured, calmly asking, "Who will lead the next mission?"
Although they witnessed this scene, eager candidates still raised their hands excitedly.
Upon seeing this, the leader smiled and said, "Good."
¡
Back in his room
Sam instructed the skeletons to assume human form, reflecting on Diablo''s recognition of Wang Feng, preventing their sacrifice for the dungeon upgrade.
Despite the chaos, he affirmed the correctness of his decision to let random yers perish, ensuring the dungeon''s upgrade and gaining heavenly artifacts with a grin.
Engaging in conversations with each skeleton, I ensured they felt included and valued. "Diablo, from now on, you will take them all to the E rank dungeon to aid their rank upgrade," I said, hoping their ranks would improve.
"Additionally, try to take a rest at every opportunity," I suggested, mindful that though they appeared human, they were still undead skeletons.
"Understood, master," they all replied, transforming into undead skeletons once more as Neo transported them to the E rank dungeons.
"Ha! What an exquisite existence," Iughed, marveling at my intelligence as I observed the skeletons'' value, the F-grade state crystals already stocked in the inventory.
This contrasted with my past memories, where protagonists often kept their skeletons confined in summoning spaces for petty retribution.
[Author: I will map the Sam character''s behaviors a bit realistic, of course if he loves anyone then he will also protect him/her even at every cost.]
¡.
I nced at my wristwatch, and it read 4 p.m.
"Neo, open the inventory," I eximed with excitement.
[Ok]
Inventory: [Dungeon: (8800 F-grade stat crystals and 750 E-grade strength stat crystals, 5900 monster carcasses, 29,000 gold coins), E-grade dungeon core]
I was taken aback by the absurd amount of loot, but it was still within an eptable range since my skeletons had been farming the dungeon since morning.
However, my attention quickly shifted to the dungeon core, which had a description in the inventory column.
[Dungeon Core]
- A material made up of otherworldly substance and containing otherworldly energy.
[Author: Inventory is not only for storing materials; it also has another perk, which is to describe the property in the description.]
"Neo, can you add your suggestion to the inventory description?" I asked, finding the current exnation not very useful.
[Ok, give me a moment.]
A few secondster...
[Completed]
Upon receiving thepletion prompt, I opened the description panel of the dungeon core again.
[Dungeon Core]
- A material made up of otherworldly substance and containing otherworldly energy.
[Des: You can use the ''Predatory Absorption Technique'' to absorb the otherworldly energy, but it is suggested to absorb one rank lower than yourself, as even in the worst-case scenario, you will only experience a tiny bit of bacsh.]
- You can sell the dungeon core (50,000 E.P.)
Chapter 22 - 22: Ranking Upgrades
Chapter 22:? Ranking Upgrades
I felt satisfied with Neo''s rmendation and muttered, "To absorb the E-rank dungeon core, I need to be D-rank, but to be on the safe side, let''s proceed with C-rank."
After making these decisions, a serious expression washed over me.
I decided to reflect on myself since it had been three days since I gained the memories of my previous life, and many events had unfolded in that time.
I had simply gone with the flow for these three days.
I took a trip down memoryne, and all the recent events yed out before my eyes.
Thirty minutester, I let out a sigh, and a determined look filled my eyes.
I thought, "I still have three years left.
Let''s seize everything, even if it causes chaos in the world. What I need to protect is my family''s business and my rtives."
After maxing out all my stat attributes, two options appeared on my status panel for a rank upgrade.
[World System]
- yer Status:
Name: Sam Carey [Rank upgrade: 2 methods]
The first option was to use the God''s rank upgrade method, which would send me to an unknown location toplete a mission for the rank upgrade.
[Mission tier: Normal, Nightmare, Abyss]
The second option was to use a higher-grade dungeon than my current rank. Correspondingly higher-grade dungeons meant higher rewards.
[Mission tier: (1 grade higher: Normal, 2nd grade higher: Nightmare, 3rd grade higher: Abyss)]
[Author: For better understanding, read A. Chapter 2]
Many might think that using the first method is a good choice, but they don''t realize it''s a trap set by a higher realm god.
Only our novel''s protagonist will manage to pass that trap.
There are many gods who can increase the difficulty during the rank upgrade just for fun, but the corresponding rewards will also increase in the same tier.
Of course, you can only im the reward if you manage to pass, or else all of it would be meaningless.
Although there are many disadvantages, attracting the attention of the gods also has its benefits.
However, I didn''t need their benefits as it couldpromise my privacy.
Besides, the first appearance of the constetion would ur during my college years, which were still three years away.
"Anyway, let''s loot the protagonist the first chance we get before ranking up," I grinned and became excited.

Province IIIrd
A grand vi stood, approximately ten times the size of my own. Unbeknownst to anyone, a massive basement had been constructed beneath the vi.
A middle-aged man, wearing a cult cloak adorned with a devil symbol, entered the basement.
"Master, the mission failed," he cautiously reported.
"What!" the leader, who sat majestically, eximed in anger. "In Province Xth, they couldn''t evenplete a mission?"
"Master, everything went smoothly until thest moment, but someone killed all the members after the dungeon upgrade," he analyzed and added, "I believe someone leaked our secret; that''s the only reason we would be killed in an F-grade dungeon."
"Alright, give me the reports from every survivor," the leader demanded angrily and, after some time, he ordered, "Suspend all our missions; the ''Federation'' is quite active."
---
Su Yanran''s Perspective
A girl and a man were in a room.
The girly on the bed, sobbing, while the man stood outside, knocking on the door.
"Yaner, stop sobbing ande out of the room," Su Sen said softly.
She stood up, opened the door, and entered her father''sforting embrace.
Su Sen held his daughter and began recounting his own experiences, including the mistakes he had made.
"Yaner!" Su Sen said, and Su Yanran looked up at her father.
He continued, "Yaner, do you want to keep crying, or do you want to be stronger so that situations like this never happen again?"
Su Yanran finally overcame her initial emotional turmoil as a high-ranking yer and said, "Father, I want to be stronger."
"Good! That''s my daughter," Su Sen said excitedly, proud of his daughter''s determination.
"You can rest today. I''m going to find a trainer for you," Su Sen said, leaving the room where his daughter quickly fell asleep.
"Now, let''s deal with the scoundrel who dared to harm my daughter," a murderous aura suddenly enveloped him, suppressed until now due to his daughter''s condition.
As he spoke, ten A-rank and two S-rank yers suddenly appeared.
¡
In the Province Xth
Due to the situation of the dungeon upgrade and disintegration, amotion had already spread throughout Province Xth.
Upon reaching his home, Wang Feng immediately told his parents what had happened and how they had barely managed to survive.
After listening to all of this, Wang Feng''s mother came near and suddenly hugged him while sobbing, "My Fenger, if anything were to happen to you, how would your father and I have lived without you?"
"Mom, okay, stop crying," Wang Feng said softly.
A mist of tears also welled up in his father''s eyes, but he held them back.
Chapter 23 - 23: Ranking Tower
Chapter 23:?Ranking Tower
Strengthening his resolve, Wang Feng''s father said, "Okay, you guys go and rest, and I''ll handle everything."
Both Wang Feng and his mother listened to him and went to their rooms.
Wang Feng''s father remained standing, determined to investigate everything rted to this.
Butler''s Point of View:
*Knock*
The butler, currently reviewing documents with Zhu Zhen, heard a knock and said, "Come in."
"Sir, a significantmotion has urred at the goblin dungeon," the person who entered the office reported.
"What!" the butler and Zhu Zhen eximed simultaneously, quickly opening the news channel on their handwatches.
Five minutester...
After seeing the news rted to the Devil''s Cult and the Ice Guild leader''s daughter, the butler was utterly dumbfounded.
He anxiously dialed a number, and the call connected.
"Young Master, where are you?" the butler asked urgently.
"What happened, Uncle? I''m in my room," came a voice on the other end.
The butler''s expression rxed, and he said in an authoritative tone, "Young Master, I sense that something significant is about to happen, and you are not allowed to leave the vi."
"Eh! Why, Uncle?" a confused voice replied.
"Young Master, anything could happen, and I''m also in a bind. Please understand," the butler sighed helplessly.
"Okay, Uncle, don''t worry about me. I have an S-rank yer with me right now," the voice responded.
"Master, I still can''t let you go outside in this chaotic area," the butler firmly stated.
"Alright, Uncle, I won''t go," a resigned voice conceded.
"Good," the butler said, ending the call.
Zhu Zhen, who had been observing all of this, was quite surprised and asked in confusion, "Why did you stop the Young Master from leaving the vi?"
"You don''t understand the situation in Province Xth right now," he said with frustration.
"What don''t I understand?" she inquired, still puzzled.
"You just have to understand that a war is brewing beneath the surface of Province Xth. In extreme cases, even S-ranks can get killed," he exined, sighing.
"Oh! It could indeed be dangerous, then," she agreed.
Sam''s Point of View:
After talking to his uncle, Sam felt extremely grateful for the concern, even though he wasn''t allowed to leave the vi. He murmured to himself, "It''s good to be cared for."
"Zhou Wen!" he called out, and his loyal servant came before him.
"Master, what happened?" Zhou Wen asked promptly.
*Cough* *Cough*
"Uncle, I''m going to the tower," Sam said.
"But Master..." Zhou Wen began to protest.
Sam interrupted him, speaking firmly, "You don''t have to treat me like that. Just call me Young Master and consider yourself a part of this family."
"Okay, Young Master," Zhou Wen responded with a smile.
"I''m going to the tower now, and I will leave a duplicate of myself that no one will suspect," Sam dered calmly.
"Alright, Master, as long as you''re safe," Zhou Wen replied, equallyposed.
"Neo, teleport all the skeletons here," Sammanded.
"Okay," Neo replied.
All the skeletons appeared, and Sam instructed one E-rank skeleton, "Change your skeleton form into a human form and make yourself identical to me."
"Okay," the E-rank skeleton replied.
"Your only task is not to get caught," Sam instructed.
"Okay, Master," the skeleton agreed.
"Let''s check the stat points before entering the tower," Sam thought and murmured, "World System."

Sam was satisfied with his status and said, "Neo, let''s teleport me and all the skeletons, except one, to the tower."
"Okay," Neo replied.
They were instantly transported to the tower''s first floor, and a series of prompts appeared before Sam''s eyes.
[Tower System]
[Wee to the Ranking Tower''s first floor, neers]
[Choose difficulty type: 1st star, 2nd star, 3rd star, 4th star, and 5th star]
Although Sam understood the meanings of these prompts, he decided to read the descriptions for each difficulty type.
1st star: 10 F+ monsters
2nd star: 50 F+ monsters
3rd star: 100 F+ monsters
4th star: 150 F+ monsters
5th star: 150 F+ and 50 E- monsters
Upon seeing these options, Sam realized that clearing all five stars in ascending order would yield a hidden reward.
Without much hesitation, he selected the 1st star difficulty and was instantly teleported to a random location.
Chapter 24 - 24: Butler
Chapter 24: Butler
Without much hesitation, he selected the 1st star difficulty and was instantly teleported to a random location.
Sam paid full attention to his surroundings, as tower administrators were known to employ tricky tactics.
Despite his considerable stat points, he chose to y it safe.
Suddenly, a horde of 10 goblins attacked, disying decent teamwork.
Sam reacted swiftly, and a massacre ensued. In just two minutes, he had eliminated all of them.
He continued to progress through the higher difficulty stars, with numerous battles urring until the 5th star difficulty.
During this level, he released all his skeletons to aid in the fight, then found a quiet spot to sit down.
Exhausted from battling, he contemted his skills and techniques that still required refinement in the chaotic training.
"Huh! I still need a lot of training," he thought, feeling a tinge of sadness.
Unknown to Sam and his skeletons, the tower administrator had been watching their incredible feats.
He was stupefied; never before had he witnessed a yer easily dispatch all monsters, especially with a summon that was just as formidable.
"Did you record all of this?" the administrator suddenly asked a worker, his expression filled with astonishment.
¡
Upon a resounding knock, the butler promptly responded, "Young master, I''ming," fully aware of the young master''s habits.
"Uncle, do you really need to knock? Come in," replied the E-rank skeleton, though a tinge of nervousness lingered within.
"Very well, young master," the butler acquiesced and entered the room.
The moment the butler stepped inside, his brow furrowed deeply, emanating a chilling pressure that betrayed his S-rank prowess.
In an icy voice, he demanded, "Who are you?" The cold tone elicited beads of sweat on both Zhou Wen and the skeleton''s foreheads.
Zhou Wen swiftly handled the situation, instructing the skeleton, "Assume your original form."
The skeletonplied, transforming back into its skeletal state and kneeling before the butler, confessing, "I am your master''s servant."
"Eh!" the butler eximed, taken aback by the unexpected sight, as he had never witnessed anything like this skeleton before.
He cleared his throat, quickly inquiring about the young master, and both Zhou Wen and the skeleton proceeded to divulge everything about him.

[You have fulfilled the conditions to unlock the hidden difficulty]
[You have earned more than 7000 Tower Points]
[You have unlocked the hidden mission, difficulty: 8th star]
[Do you wish to enter?]
"Eh!" I was thoroughly surprised by the tower''s notification, eximing in my mind, ''What the hell?''
I immersed myself in deep thought, paring my progress to that of the protagonist. Analyzing his adventures on the first floor, I gathered clues: he didn''t amass more than 7000 tower points, nor did he y all monsters to pass the difficulty.
[Author: For better understanding, refer to Chapter 10]
''Great,'' I smiled, satisfied with the summary, and resolved to pursue the hidden mission, an eight-star challenge.
While others might find it an insurmountable blockade, to me, it''s merely a hurdle.
''Enter,'' I whispered, re-entering the barren realm, greeted by a new set of notifications.
[Tower System]
[To clear the hidden mission, you must survive for 24 hours or y 500 F rank, 300 E rank, and 100 D rank monsters]
Stealthily moving through the barren world, concealed by ''Absolute Concealment,'' I explored the area.
After a thorough investigation, I concluded that monsters of all challengeable ranks, from F to B, roamed thesends.
I focused on the D rank monster''sir, estimating around 150 monsters,prising 100 F, 50 E, and 5 D ranks.
I unshackled my army of skeletons to hunt discreetly, ensuring we wouldn''t attract other creatures.
Deactivating ''Absolute Concealment,'' I informed Diablo, ''I will signal you.''
Reactivating the skill, I infiltrated the monsterirs, carefully avoiding lower-ranked foes, until I reached the boss location housing five D rank hell dogs.
My stats, far surpassing those of other yers and monsters, currently reached C rank.
''Murmuring ''Netherworld Soul Devouring,'' a blue me engulfed the five D rank monsters as Imanded Diablo, ''Attack.''
Within moments, the hell dogs were reduced to charred remnants, filling the air with a burnt stench.
Thus, we swiftly cleared the first monster''sir.
''Let''s increase the skeleton numbers,'' I contemted, a grin adorning my face.
Chapter 25 - 25: Barren World
Chapter 25:?Barren World
But before that, I ordered Diablo and the skeletons to hunt nearby low-level monsters.
''Diablo, take all these skeletons with you and hunt all nearby creatures,'' I instructed, receiving his prompt response, ''Yes, master.''
Entering the monster''sir for the undead extraction, I collected the carcasses of 200 E rank monsters, stored conveniently in my inventory thanks to the ''Auto Pick Up Auxiliary Function.''
Murmuring ''Undead Extraction,'' I supplemented the undead energy instead of mana points.
Before long, prompts appeared before my eyes.
[World System]
[You have supplemented undead energy to the undead skeleton, instead of mana points]
[Undead Skeleton rank has been increased by one]
[Undead Extraction sessfully activated]
[You can now name this monster]
[Named monsters have the potential to grow]
With four undead skeletons newly summoned, I decided to name them, expecting their ranks to soon rise.
Approaching them, I dered, ''From now on, your names shall be Big, Gold...''
An overwhelming surge of mana emanated from my body, causing me to copse onto the ground, breathing heavily, as cocoons enveloped the skeletons.
After a few minutes...
Katch * Katcha
The cocoons began to break, revealing human-like appearances that bore no resemnce to skeletons.
Simultaneously, a prompt appeared from the World System.

Approaching me for support, Gold said, ''Master.''
''You don''t need to address me so formally,'' I replied sonorously.
''Wait for some time,'' Imunicated telepathically to all the skeletons and requested Diablo and the others to join us.
''Yes, master,'' came the prompt reply.
As they gathered, I introduced everyone to each other.
Diablo''s perspective: ''Another skeleton stronger than me; I must be more powerful,'' Diablo thought secretly, a resolute determination igniting within my eyes.
...
Sam, the fortunate lottery winner, resolved to hunt every monster.
10 hourster:
With relentless determination, we destroyed 50 F rank, 30 E rank, and 20 D rank monsterirs, making ample use of the undead extraction on various monster carcasses.
Upon clearing all these challenges, a string of prompts appeared before my eyes.
[Tower System]
[You have fulfilled a certain condition of the hidden mission]
[You have 14 hours remaining]
[Do you wish to return?]
[Yes/No]
Laughing secretly, I decided to click ''No,'' firmly believing that only a fool would miss such an exceptional hunting ground.
After making my decision, a massacre ensued in the barren world.
...
Tower office:
Concerns were raised by a worker to the administrator about the situation in the barren world. ''Sir, what should we do?''
The administrator sighed, acknowledging that they might lose a bit of meat due to the ongoing events, but confident that they would gain more than they lose.
''Sir, it''s against the tower''s rule,'' the concerned worker hesitated.
The worker''s voices drew a chill that enveloped the office as the administrator responded coldly, ''Do as I say.''
''Yes, sir,'' the worker replied fearfully.
''That should be the attitude of a worker and consider this your final warning.''
...
13 hourster:
In the barren world:
"Haaaha" The thunderousughter reverberated, echoing through the surroundings, where only a group of 30 skeletons and one man could be seen amidst the air saturated with the stench of blood.
"That''s quite a satisfying hunt," Sam expressed excitedly.

Chapter 22
April 4, 2600
8:00 a.m.
Sam''s vi
In the room, a boy teleported and excitedly murmured, "My talent is finally going to beplete."

"It''s done," I said as I got ready in my school uniform.
However, what I didn''t notice was the eerie silence surrounding the vi.

Federation School
ss Xth
"Fatty, Su Yanran didn''te to school today," I asked, perplexed, as she was never absent from ss.
"Boss, you don''t know anything?" Wang Feng was surprised at Sam''s response.
"What don''t I know?" I said, bewildered.
"Nothing, the ss teacher will exin everything," Wang Feng sighed.
Soon, the ss teacher entered ss Xth.
"Silence."
"Hello, everyone. You should already know about the incident that happened in the F-grade goblin dungeon," the ss teacher asked.
"Yes, sir," the students replied in unison, having watched the news.
"Boss, now do you know?" Fatty murmured.
"I already know about this," Sam said, then hesitated. "Did something happen to Su Yanran?"
"Yeah, boss, now you''re catching on," Fatty sighed.
I cursed at his dramatics and asked, "Hey Fatty, tell me quickly, what happened to her?"
Chapter 26 - 26: Appraise Talent
Chapter 26: Appraise Talent
I cursed at his dramatics and asked, "Hey Fatty, tell me quickly, what happened to her?"
"Watch, the ssroom teacher is going to exin," Wang Feng smirked.
The teacher sighed and said, "An unfortunate event happened to Su Yanran.
She was traumatized by the incident that happened in the goblin dungeon."
"What?" every student eximed at the teacher''s remarks.
"Hey Fatty! How could she be traumatized?" I asked, confused.
"Boss, you weren''t there, or you would have known," Fatty sighed again and said, "She witnessed many yers and even her hunting parties being cruelly and yfully killed by the D-rank yer, and she herself was hunted. But thanks to someone who saved us."
"Oh!" I eximed and was surprised that it was indeed a traumatic experience for someone who hadn''t killed a human and suddenly had to witness all of these.
I sighed and thought, "For me, it is indeed nothing. I''ve watched the memories of my previous life and know that sometimes the value of human life is worth less than a penny."
Suddenly, a peon entered our ss Xth and announced a name, "Sam."
I stood up and said, "I''m."
"The principal has called for you," the peon said and went about his work.
"May I go out, sir?" I asked my ssroom teacher, and he replied, "Okay."
"Time to reap the appraisal talent," I murmured, and a smile bloomed.
I reached the principal''s office where an elderly man and the principal were sitting.
"Sir, he has arrived," the principal said to the elderly man.
The elderly man turned his head, observed me from head to toe, and said appreciatively, "Indeed, a genius."
"Thanks for the praise, Senior," I replied, neither humble nor overbearing.
"Okay, okay,e and tell him the reason," the principal said calmly.
The elderly man became interested and said, "Yeah, tell me, I''m indeed interested."
"I just wanted to meet an auxiliary S-rank yer for motivation," I said calmly, feeling in control.
"Uh! Motivation?" Both eximed at the same time, and the elderly man asked curiously, "What type of motivation?"
"Sir, I heard that it was extremely hard to cultivate for an auxiliary yer, but still, you managed to ovee all of the obstacles, and just thinking about it gives me a boost," I said in a sonorous tone and with an honest expression.
"Great, great, as I expected from the student who invited me," the elderly man said happily.
Internally, I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking, "The old man''s hidden trait is to listen to praise, but that praise muste within his abilities and not be overrated, or it can backfire."
The principal sat there, stupefied, as he watched the reward request turn into praise. What was even more surprising is that the old man was reacting rather well.
"That''s your nobility, Senior," I respectfully said.
"Okay, okay, you don''t have to praise me," the elderly man said jokingly.
I just smiled, and the elderly man again said, "If you ever need anything,e to me."
"Thanks, sir," I replied politely and returned to my ssroom.
Upon exiting the principal''s office, the elderly man returned to his usual self and said calmly to the principal, "Sir, I can feel from my talent that he will surely do great."
---
"Eh! Now I just need to devour the ''Appraise talent,'' and my talent will beplete," I thought excitedly and soon arrived at the ssroom gate.
"May Ie in, Sir?" I asked.
"Come in," the ssroom teacher replied.
I reached my seat, and Wang asked me about the old man, as it was rare for us to meet great appraisal yers in the Province Xth.
Time continued to pass, and soon it was time for school to end.
---
Outer area of Province Xth
Ten A and two S-rank yers, along with Su Sen, could be seen in the underground hall. The hall was littered with human bodies and signs of battles and spells.
Su Sen approached thest man and asked calmly, "Where is your leader?"
"Sir, we don''t know," thest man shuddered and replied fearfully.
Su Sen, standing close to thest man, used his ice spell to freeze his entire body, then disintegrated the ice along with his body. A shriveled voice resounded.
"Dammit, they fled again," Su Sen said angrily.
"Let''s go," he said, and the other eleven yers followed to search for the leader.

Province IXth
In the underground
Many yers could be seen wearing cloaks with the symbol of the devil on the back.
The leader who had recently fled from Province Xth knelt, and another man, who was sitting majestically, said calmly, "Let''s halt our operation for some time."
"Okay, sir."
¡
On the training ground, a girl could be seen panting while a woman was busy training her.
"Miss Su, I advise you to fully harness the abilities of the ice mage," the woman said calmly, acting as Su Yanran''s mentor.
"Yes, mentor," Su Yanran replied, standing up with unwavering determination in her eyes, ready to practice her ice mage spells.

"Yes, mentor," Su Yanran replied, standing up with unwavering determination in her eyes, ready to practice her ice mage spells.
"What a strong will she has. Just by her determination, she has already surpassed the criteria to be a great yer," the mentor analyzed.

3:00 p.m. at the vi
I reached my vi, had lunch, and now I''m in my room.
I sighed happily at my hard work, thinking, "I''ve done everything." Soon, a maid''s voice reached my ear, "Young master, the butler is calling you."
"Alright, you may leave," I said, wondering why the butler wants to see me.
"Oh, I forgot!" I suddenly remembered that I didn''t see Zhou Wen and the skeleton in the morning.
I left my room and went to the butler''s room, mentally preparing myself.
I knocked on the door and heard the butler say, "Come in."
Entering the room, I saw both Zhou Wen and the skeleton silently sitting on the couch.
I joined them and raised an eyebrow in question, to which Zhou Wen replied by showing his hand, indicating they got caught.
The butler, having finished checking the documents, ced them aside and calmly asked, "Young master, did I not say anything to you?"
Seeing his calm expression, I knew there was a storm brewing under the surface, and I needed to reveal some secrets and spout some nonsense to calm the situation.
"Uncle, first see this," I said anxiously and handed him a sword.
"Young master, I¡" He hesitated as he saw the sword, then took it to inspect its details and asked, "Young master, where did you get this sword?"
"Uncle, it''s rted to my talent, which is intuition. It helped me acquire this sword," I said, spouting some nonsense as nobody knew the name of my talent.
"Young master, it''s a unique sword, and I respect you for that. But what will happen to me if anything happens to you? You know, I promised your parents to take care of you," the butler expressed his concerns and memories.
"Uncle, I''m sorry," I apologized, not sure what else to say when he started talking like that.
The butler quicklyposed himself and said sternly, "Alright, young master, I want to hear from you that this is thest time, and even, if necessary, you should inform me."
"Thank you, uncle, I will inform you," I said happily.
"Alright, do as you wish," the butler sighed and added after some time, "If you need any help, tell me."
"Okay, uncle," I said and returned to my room.
As I exited the butler''s room, he sighed and said helplessly, "Like father, like son." However, a relieved and happy expression appeared on his face as he recalled some events.
---
Sam''s room
"Thank goodness, everything has been resolved," I thought, a wide grin appearing on my face as I remembered the rewards from the Barren World mission, which exceeded my expectations.
"Let''s assess each gain," I thought as I summoned my inventory.
Inventory: [Dungeon: (50,800 F-grade, 36,752 E-grade, and 10,000 D-grade stat crystals, 25,400 F-grade, 9,188 E-grade, and 1,250 D-grade monster carcasses, 258,880 gold coins), E-grade dungeon core, Small World [F] [Unique], Abyssal Sword [F] [Unique]]
"I gained all of these from the tower," I thought, feeling satisfied with my gains.
**shback...**
Uponpleting the Barren World mission, I was automatically transported to the tower''s first floor, and a string of prompts started to appear.
[Tower System]
[You have cleared all-star difficulties from 1 to 5 of the tower''s first floor.]
[You have exceeded the limit of all the star difficulties]
[You have gained 7,100 T.P for clearing all the star difficulties]
[Bonus reward for exceeding limit: Abyssal Sword [F] [Unique]]
[You havepleted the hidden mission: 8th star]
[You have exceeded the limit of the hidden mission]
[You have killed 16,400 F-grade, 8,600 E-grade, and 1,250 D-grade monsters in the Barren World]
[You have gained 20,000 T.P forpleting the hidden mission]
[Bonus reward for exceeding limit: Small World [F] [Unique]]
[You have gained 373,500 by killing all the monsters in the Barren World]
[All of these rewards are temporarily ced in the Tower''s inventory]
After seeing all of these, I was dumbstruck; I didn''t even know what to say. I had expected to gain all of these as I had exceeded the Novel''s Protagonist quota.
I hade here to loot the Protagonist''s Abyssal Sword, but instead, I received an overwhelming amount of Tower Points and a Small World.
I quickly transferred all the rewards to my Neo''s Inventory.
"Neo, show me the description of the sword and the small world," I said excitedly.
[Item: Abyssal Sword [F] [Unique]]
-It has the ability to ignore any defense.
-Increases damage by 20% [umtes up to 5 times]
-Growth type weapon
-Condition to upgrade: Kill 1,000 F or 100 E or 10 D
Grade: F
Des: It has the ability to reach EX rank.
Chapter 28 - 28: Reward: Small World
Chapter 28: Reward: Small World
[Item: Small World [F] [Unique]]
-It has a dimension of 100 km^3.
-Growth type world
Grade: F
[Des: It has the potential to be arge world with a will after reaching S rank. You can also integrate a World''s will into the small world.]
A devilish smirk appeared on my face after seeing all of these details and Neo''s description.
As I thought, the novel''s protagonist didn''t utilize the full potential of the Abyssal Sword.
I knew that the Abyssal Sword held a secret; the more monsters you kill with it, the sooner it gains consciousness and acquires a skill during upgrades, as written in the novel.
But about this world, I don''t know. However, from my previous life''s memories and with Neo''s help, I will try to turn this small world into an independent universe.
Just thinking about all of this gives me goosebumps.
¡
I obtained the ''Abyssal Sword'' and ''Small World'' as rewards from the Barren World mission, along with 400,600 Tower Points.
"Thank God! Everything went well during the tower''s mission," I pondered and proceeded towards my talent."Let''s check the talent: Appraise [S]," I summoned the panel.
Talent: Appraise [S]
- You possess the ability to appraise anything falling under S grade.
- You can view some vague details of items above grade 1.
Grade: S
After examining the details of the appraised talent, I sighed, and my mind quickly drifted towards the principal''s office.
**shback¡**
**In the Principal''s office**
Upon entering the principal''s office, a series of prompts appeared before my eyes.

After copying the talent, I paused the process to devour it so I could check the Appraise talent''s details. Subsequently, I continued the conversation with the old man.

"Let''s devour," I thought, and once again, a series of prompts appeared.

Upon devouring the appraised talent process, a voice resonated in my mind.
"Master, I have fully acknowledged all the details of the Copy talent and also perfected myself after devouring the appraised talent," Copy Talent''s consciousness said.
"Oh," I said excitedly and murmured, "Talent," and a panel appeared before my eyes.
Talent: Copy [EX]
- An entity that gains consciousness by devouring ''Ego'' and ''Appraise'' talent.
- It has the ability to appraise and copy anything under or of the same ''EX'' rank.
Grade: EX
My body became rxed as a significant burden of ''iplete Talent'' was lifted from my shoulders.
I also hadn''t taken proper rest or sleep after clearing the tower mission and hidden mission.
Many wondered how I spent a total of 35 hours in the tower, which was equivalent to only 9 hours in the real world from 9:00 p.m.
"Sorry for that, I forgot to mention that ''The time exchange rate between the tower and the real world is 4 to 1 ratio in hours, so I managed to clear all the tower-rted missions till 6:30 a.m.''"
Afterpleting the tower''s mission, I went to school, and my body became quite tired.
After dealing with all these matters, my eyelids became heavy due tock of proper rest.
As I pondered, I fell onto the bed and soon fell asleep as my tense muscles rxed, and I entered the chaos training.
**Chaos training**
"I don''t know how the mechanics work in the chaos training? But it''s superb as I feel energetic." I thought and soon started to organize my practice to harness all the techniques and skills.
¡..
Su Sen, who had killed all the devil''s cult except the leader who fled, along with his guild members, reached the ''Federation'' to report about the incident.
Upon entering the ''Federation,'' he inquired about the criminal department, which had reported the cult members'' location.
"Sir, that location was reported by the ''Federation Criminal Department''," a federation worker said, examining the documents.
"Report that all of them died except the leader, and if they get the location of the leader, message me ASAP," Su Sen calmly instructed.
"Ok, sir," the worker said and started to inform them through the devices.

**Federation Criminal Department**
Wang Xiao, Wang Feng''s father, led the ''criminal department 1'' and was present with his battalion.

"Dammit," Wang Xiao said slowly, quickly regaining hisposure, and said, "continue."
"We also have to inform the leader''s location, if wee to know," the member said slowly.
"Anyways, the cult''s leader must have escaped to other provinces, and catching him is next to impossible. Let''s halt this operation for now," Wang Xiao said unwillingly, knowing they were the culprits who tried to kill his son.¡..
**Wang Family''s house**
During the school break, he reached his house, had his lunch, and entered his room.
He fell on the bed and started to think about the previous day''s events.
"Sam is also changing day by day, and I can intuitively feel that he has be too strong or out of my league."
"Everybody is honing their skills, but I''m just living here peacefully.
Aargh!" He thought and groaned, realizing his uingck of motivation to train himself.
"Let''s hire an instructor for training." He thought and picked up a mobile, dialing a number.
"Dad, I want to hire an instructor," He said calmly.
"Is everything alright?" A confused voice came.
"Dad, I want to be strong," He said, understanding his father must be confused by his sudden request.
"Ok, I will hire an instructor for you." A happy voice came from the other side as he was relieved.
"Thank you, Dad," he said and disconnected the call, organizing a training routine, and murmured, "I have to be stronger, or I will be left behind," as he felt it intuitively.
Thus, the journey of the supporting characters of the ''Return as Strongest yer'' novel, Wang Feng and Su Yanran, began their thrilling adventure.

As the sun rises, nature awakens, and we experience a fresh sense of possibilities and opportunities.
With each new morning, we have the chance to set intentions, embrace new beginnings, and embark on a journey of personal growth.
The start of a new day holds the promise of endless possibilities and reminds us that every sunrise is an invitation to live our lives to the fullest.
The beginning of a new day fills our bodies with renewed energy and vitality.
[Author: I suggest that you should wake up early in the morning and establish a routine for yourself. Spend your time wisely and make each day a source of motivation for our present.
You may have heard the saying: "An idle mind is the devil''s workshop."
So always keep yourself busy.]
Moving on to the novel
Vi
Inside the room
I wake up from my sleep feeling spiritually energized, but my body still feels a bit sore.
To shake off the sleepiness, I do some light exercises and then step out of the room to attend to some necessary tasks. I instruct a maid to prepare an ice bath for me.
After five minutes...
"Young master, the ice bath tub is ready," she says. I reply, "Ok," and proceed to take an ice bath to relieve any lingering fatigue.
As I enter the bathtub, a sigh of relief escapes my lips, and I can feel the soreness in my body dissipate.
30 minutester...
Afterpleting my routine, I find a spot to sit down and check the time. It''s 5:40 a.m., and thankfully, today is Sunday, which means I have ample time for myself.
I sit and contemte that it''s time to upgrade my rank, but before that, I should inform my uncle.
As I approach his door, I realize that he might be tired since he handles everything. So, I summon a skeleton and instruct it, "Once my uncle leaves his room, inform him that I have gone outside for a rank upgrade."
"Ok, master," the skeleton replies, and I head back to my room.
Inside my room, I whisper, "World System."
World System
yer status:

I click on the Rank upgrade method and I am presented with options to choose from. I select the Dungeon method and another panel appears before me.

Monster number: 20
Upgrade stat points by 2 times.
Nightmare tier[D]: (rewards)
Monster number: 50
Upgrade stat points by 3 times.
Abyss tier [C]: (rewards)

Upgrade stat points by 4 times.
Without hesitation, I choose the Abyss tier. Although the skeletons'' rank is lowerpared to C-grade monsters, their stat points are higher.
[Author: Monsters in the dungeon or anywhere are usually found in [soldier] grade, but a Summoner''s pet or monster grade can be [general] or higher, as their grade upgrades with the master.]
Upon selecting the Abyss tier, I am teleported to the first floor of the dungeon. I remain alert and carefully observe my surroundings.
Soon, I reach a safe area and release all 29 skeletons.
"Diablo, take these skeletons and hunt the monsters," Imand.
I also take the opportunity to improve myself through chaos training and upgrade various techniques and skills.
Chapter 30 - 30: Netherworld Soul Devouring
Chapter 30: Netherworld Soul Devouring
Quietly, I activate the ''Absolute Concealment'' skill and disappear into the surroundings.
Soon, I encounter a group of orcs, confirming that this is an Orc-type dungeon.
With the Abyssal Sword in my hand, I swiftly approach an orc from behind and swing my sword across its neck.
Blood spurts out, and the other orcs be aware of their surroundings. I murmur, "Netherworld soul devouring."
As I murmur, a blue me engulfs the orcs, causing them some harm. Although their high rank lessens the impact, it buys me enough time to eliminate them all with my sword.
While I clear the area, the undead skeletons also eliminate all the monsters on the first floor.
Silence descends upon the first floor, and all the skeletons gather in one ce. I join them, and Diablo reports, "Master, we have cleared all the monsters on this dungeon floor."
"Okay, let''s prepare," I say and decide to proceed to the second floor.
Upon entering the second floor, I repeat the same process and eliminate the mob monsters.
Eventually, we reach their of the Boss monster, where a B- rank orc awaits.
I halt the skeletons and decide to face the B- rank orc myself.
Although my rank is low, my stat attributes areparable to those of an early B-rank monster.
I stand there, my heart filled with anticipation and excitement.
The thought of battling an early B-rank monster sends adrenaline coursing through my veins. With a soft whisper, I activate my abilities: "Absolute Concealment" and "Undead Armor."
As if summoned by my words, a shroud of undead energy envelops my body, forming a protective armor.
I then decide to use the powerful ''Netherworld Soul Devouring'' skill against the orc.
A brilliant blue me ignites, showcasing the intensity of my mystical prowess.
With my abyssal sword in hand, I swiftly swing it towards the orc''s vulnerable neck.
The sword possesses a unique ability to bypass defense and umte damage, ensuring a deadly impact.
However, to my surprise, the orc manages to intercept my attack with its own weapon, halting my strike midway.
Reacting swiftly, I change direction and deliver a forceful kick to the orc''s temple.
The connection is satisfying as my heel connects with its target.
For a moment, I think I have gained the upper hand.
However, the orc quickly adjusts its position, disying its resilience and defying my expectations.
In an enraged roar, it utters guttural sounds in its own monstrousnguage, demonstrating the depths of its fury.
Undeterred by its rage, I utilize the skills acquired through my rigorous chaos training.
This time, my efforts pay off as I aim for its eye socket, gouging out the orc''s eye with precision using the ''Hand Combat Technique''.
The orc emits a withered shriek, indicating the pain and distress it is experiencing.
In the end, I defeat the orc and am soon teleported back to my room, greeted by a string of prompts.

A sudden surge of contrasting sensations engulfed my being, as if a blend of cool and hot energy intermingled within me.
Overwhelmed by this peculiar force, I found myself tumbling to the floor with a jolt.
In that very instant, slumber embraced me and rendered me unconscious.
The butler awoke from his slumber andpleted his necessary morning tasks before leaving the room.
Upon exiting the room, he suddenly noticed a man standing at his door, which startled him momentarily.
He quickly regained hisposure and said, "My apologies, you startled me. Why are you here at this hour?"
The skeleton, currently in human form, became embarrassed and scratched the tip of his ear.
He replied, "The young master asked me to inform you that he has gone outside for a rank upgrade."
"What! A rank upgrade already?" the butler eximed, surprised.
He thought to himself, "It hasn''t even been a week, and he''s already going for a rank upgrade."
The butler sighed and said, "I''ve grown ustomed to the young master''s daily activities. If he returns, please inform me."
"Of course, butler," the skeleton replied.
"Alright, I''m heading to the office now," the butler said as he made his way to the industrial office.

6:10 a.m.
In the industrial office, Zhu Zhen, who had just woken up to her rm, began her morning tasks.
Twenty minutester, she hadpleted everything and was dressed for the office. She proceeded to inspect the industrial area.
Sometimeter, the butler arrived at the industrial area and, upon seeing Zhu Zhen engrossed in her work, he sighed and muttered, "I don''t know when the young master got so lucky, having both an S-rank yer and a dedicated worker like Zhener. It does ease my burden."

"Zhener, is everything going smoothly?" the butler asked casually, as their rtionship had be quite informal after working together for three or four days.
"Yes, butler," she replied, returning her focus to her work.

7:00 a.m.
Meanwhile, Zhou Wen, who was sleeping, awoke to his rm. He took a leisurely walk to shake off his sleepiness.
After some time, hepleted his morning tasks and began to wonder, "It''s Sunday today. Why haven''t I seen the young master yet? Am I overthinking this? Let me ask the skeleton."
He approached the skeleton and inquired, "Hey, where is the young master?"
The skeleton, hearing the question, replied, "The young master went outside for a rank upgrade this morning."
"Oh," Zhou Wen responded before bing upied with security inspections around the vi.

In another part of town, Wang Feng, still in his room, heard a voice and groggily replied, "Mom, please let me sleep a bit longer."
In response, his mother called from the kitchen, "Fenger, wake up! The instructor will arrive in half an hour."
Wang Feng abruptly woke up, checked the time on his bedside table, which read 7:30 a.m.
His drowsiness vanished as he thought, "Oh no, the instructor ising. I overslept again. Well, this will be thest time."
However, his resolve quickly waned, reced by drowsiness.
He mumbled, "This is thest day. Let''s just sleep for 20 more minutes; 10 minutes is enough to prepare for training," and drifted back to sleep.

Su Yanran''s Vi
In the Training Ground
In the vi''s training ground, a girl was engaged in rigorous training, using an ice spell to spar with a woman.
Her training attire was drenched in sweat from their prolonged session.
After some time, the woman suggested, "Miss, let''s take a break. Your body needs rest."
"Alright," the girl replied, copsing onto the ground, panting heavily.
"I''ve trained many girls before, but you''re truly exceptional," the woman praised, taken aback by the girl''s dedication.
Su Yanran was surprised by the unexpectedpliment and asked, "In what way?"
The mentor paused, considering her response, and then said, "You possess not only resilience and a strong will, but also the determination to endure this demanding training, which is quite unusual for someone your age."
Su Yanran pondered for a moment and simply stated, "I just want to be strong."
Her mentor was at a loss for words, unsure of how to respond to her cryptic statement.
She sighed and suggested, "Miss, we''ve been training since 6:00 a.m. Let''s take a cold bath to soothe our sore muscles."
"That sounds like a good idea. We can resume training after the cold bath," Su Yanran agreed, heading off to prepare for their refreshing bath.

Sam''s Vi
9:00 a.m.
Havingpleted his security inspection of the vi, Zhou Wen enjoyed his breakfast before making his way to the skeleton, who had been eagerly awaiting the young master''s return for several hours.
Upon reaching the young master''s room and opening the gate slightly to get a view of the interior, Zhou Wen was shocked to find the young master lying unconscious on the floor.
He urgently shouted, "Hey,e here!"
His cry attracted amotion within the vi, and all the key members, including the skeleton, the head of security, and the head maid, gathered in the young master''s room to assess his condition.
"What happened to the young master?" they all asked anxiously at the same time.
"Hey! Why are you asking like that? I have no knowledge of what happened, I just happened to see the young master lying on the ground floor of the room," Zhou Wen replied anxiously.
He quickly turned to the house doctor and said, "Please properly check the young master''s body."
"Okay," the doctor replied and immediately got to work.
After examining the young master''s condition, the doctor let out a relieved sigh and said happily, "There''s nothing to worry about, the young master is just going through the normal process of a rank upgrade."
Zhou Wen, hearing the doctor''s reply, also let out a sigh of relief and said, "I had thought about that possibility, but you never know what could happen, which is why I was anxious when I saw the young master."
Everyone else also let out a collective sigh of relief and said, "Thank God nothing happened."
"Okay, let''s inform the butler about this," Zhou Wen said happily as he took out his mobile phone and dialed a number.

The butler, who was inspecting some materials in the industry and suggesting some changes to Zhu Zhen, suddenly heard his phone ring.
He excused himself, telling Zhu Zhen that he would inform her of all the detailster, and moved to a quiet spot to answer the call.

"Who is this?" he asked.
"It''s me, Zhou Wen," came the voice on the other end.
"Did something happen?" the butler asked quickly.
"Rx, nothing happened. The young master has returned to the vi and sessfully upgraded his rank. He is currently unconscious," Zhou Wen replied.
"Wait for me, I''ming," the butler replied calmly.
He then went to Zhu Zhen and informed her that he needed to go to the vi because of the young master''s situation.

At the vi
Sam, who was lying on the bed, felt his eyelids tremble and soon opened his eyes. He saw that many members of the vi were gathered around him.
Confused, he asked, "Why is everyone gathered here?"
Zhou Wen, hearing the young master''s voice, replied, "Young master, you were lying on the ground floor of the room."
Sam, upon hearing this, started to remember everything and said, "I remember now, I just need a moment to adjust myself."
"Okay, young master. If you need anything, just call for anyone," Zhou Wen said before leaving the room with everyone else.
Sam rubbed his temple and murmured, "What a troublesome situation... ''World System''."

"My hard work has paid off," he thought, and a wide smile appeared on his face.
"Let''s connect with the small world," he thought as he took the ''Small World'' from his inventory.
In his hand, he held a small, egg-like material that was glistening - the ''Small World''.
He bit his finger and poured a drop of blood onto the ''Small World''.
Upon doing this, the ''Small World'' started to rotate in his hand and soon entered the middle of his eyebrows.
A prompt appeared.
[World System]
[You have be the master of an independent world]
Sam became confused, wondering where the small world had gone.
As if understanding his confusion, the small world came out by itself, and knowledge rted to its control transferred to his mind, apanied by a sharp pain.
"Oh," he became surprised at the knowledge of controlling the small world and murmured, "It also has the will of a non-existent world."
Using his spiritual mind, he could see a view of the small world. There was nothing in this world except for a safe environment.
"Now, I also need to search for materials to upgrade the small world," he sighed at his powerlessness. But suddenly, a prompt appeared from Neo.
[Host, I suggest that you use a dungeon''s core]
"Huh! What does that mean?" Sam said, confused and not understanding.
[Host, you should let the Small World devour the dungeon''s core]
Sam was extremely surprised by Neo''s response, but it also seemed feasible. However, that meant sacrificing 500,000 E.P., which was a significant portion of his resources.
He steeled his heart and shed a tear at the sacrifice of 500,000 E.P.
He summoned the ''Small World'' and the dungeon''s core and let them devour each other. Soon, a notification came from the World System.

"Young master, is everything alright?" the butler asked.
"Yeah, Uncle, everything is alright," Sam replied.
After hesitating for a moment, the butler said solemnly, "Young master, I don''t know if I should say this, but your current condition worries me."
Sam, understanding that he hadpletely changed after his ''Talent Awakening'' and that anyone would also be concerned, thought for a moment before saying solemnly, "Uncle, I know you already know that I''m hiding many things and that I have changed a lot after the ''Talent Awakening'' event. But Uncle, trust me, I will tell you everything. It''s just that the time is not right."

"Young master, I didn''t mean to invade your privacy, and I understand that you may have your reasons for not telling me. But as your rtive, I just want you to share some of the burden with me," the butler replied, sounding anxious.
"I just feel inadequate that I can''t help you, so please share even a small issue that may relieve your stress."
Sam, hearing the butler''s words, unknowingly shed a tear and said in a sobbing tone, "Uncle, you are not inadequate. You have done so much for me and even sacrificed your whole life. I just wanted to handle this myself and shoulder some of the responsibilities."
The butler approached Sam and hugged him, saying, "Cry as much as you want. It can relieve your stress."
Hearing the butler''sforting voice, Sam started to sob uncontrobly.
He was only 14 years old, with no friends or rtives to share his burdens with.
He had to shoulder everything himself, pouring all his blood, sweat, and tears into training and hunting while other children his age were ying with their parents and enjoying their childhood
Eventually, he fell asleep after crying, and the butler sadly left the room.

A weekter
3:00 p.m.
Currently, I am diligently preparing for the uing school trip, which is scheduled to take ce in the next few days.
As ss Xth, we also have two days off from school to organize everything for the dungeon expedition.
Our ssroom teacher suggested that it has been about two weeks since the novice dungeon, so it is time to venture into a more formal F-rank dungeon with the guidance of our teacher and instructor.
The anticipation is building as we await this exciting adventure.
Throughout this week, my uncle has been a great source of mental support.
I shared with him my newfound abilities, including the power to teleport anywhere at will.
He was understandably shocked by these abilities and strongly advised me against revealing them to anyone.
I felt touched by his concern and appreciation for my safety.
As the saying goes, a true friend or rtive is worth more than a hundred others. I dialed my uncle''s number on my handwatch and the call connected.
"Hello uncle, our school has organized a trip to explore the F-grade dungeon," I informed him.
"Oh, what is the date?" he inquired.
"It''s in two days," I replied.
"Take care of yourself and be cautious of anyone you encounter in the dungeon," he warned in a serious tone.
"Don''t worry, uncle. I will remain vignt," I assured him before ending the call.
With all the necessary matters settled, it is time to turn my attention to the "Small World."
This week, I have been diligently clearing various dungeons, including 50 C grade and 20 B grade dungeons, as well as the monster''s tower.
This has allowed me to strengthen my army of skeletons, increasing their numbers from 30 to an impressive 200.
My skeleton army now consists of 50 C rank skeletons and 150 D rank skeletons. The progress has been promising, and I am eager to see how they will continue to grow and evolve.
Summoning the Small World, a bead emerges from my forehead, and I quietlymand, "Neo, show me its details."
[Understood.]

Examining these details, I cannot help but feel a sense of satisfaction.
During this week, I have done many experiments in the ''Small World'' and also came to the conclusion that I can refine this ''Small World'' into an independent universe.
As the master of this Small World, I have harnessed the ability to control its aura andws to some extent. It is an incredible sensation, although it does ce a considerable strain on my body.

"Huh! They should have known better than to underestimate us and treat us as mere puppets. Once we firmly establish our stronghold over Province Xth, even the mighty Wu Family will be powerless against us," the middle-aged man asserted, his eyes gleaming with ambition.
"You are absolutely right, father. Once we gain control over Province Xth, the prestigious ''Federation'' will undoubtedly lend their unwavering support to our cause," Zhang Zim said with admiration, envisioning the immense power and influence that awaited them.

In the training ground
Zhou Wen, a middle-aged man, and Sam Carey, a young boy, were engaged inbat training.
As they sparred, both of them became tired, and Zhou Wen suggested taking a break.
"Young master, we should rest," Zhou Wen said helplessly.
"Come on, Zhou Uncle, let''s go for just five more minutes," Sam insisted, determined to push himself.
"Young master, you''ve been saying that for the past hour," Zhou Wen replied with a sigh.
He then noticed something and asked, "Young master, you haven''t trained with me since the Talent Awakening event, but suddenly you''ve been training with me regrly since yesterday. Is there a reason?"
Sam smiled and replied, "I just want to gain experience fighting against humans. Training against monsters or dummies has no real meaning if I want to face high-ss or ranked yers. Having experience against humans will give me an edge."
Zhou Wen nodded in understanding and said, "Young master, you''re right. But we should also have a regr training regimen against yers."
Zhou Wen then had an idea and a twinkle appeared in his eyes. He suggested, "Young master, why don''t you buy a ''Combat Mirror'' from the tower''s shop?"
Sam furrowed his brow and asked, "What is a ''Combat Mirror,'' and where did you obtain it?
"Zhou Wen smiled proudly and puffed his chest out. "Young master, you may not remember, but both Zhu Zhen and I have a link with your system through the ''Link'' auxiliary function."
"Are you saying that you both have visited the dungeon tower?" Sam, who heard this soon gained enlightenment and asked, confused. "But you shouldn''t have had enough time to umte tower points."
Zhou Wen smirked and said slyly, "Young master, I may appear weak to you, but if I use my full power, it''s a different story. Both Zhu Zhen and I have visited around 100 floors in just two weeks. As for the ''Combat Mirror,'' it cost me 1,000,000 tower points."
Sam was shocked by the price but thought to himself, "If it weren''t for the monsters I hunted during the barren world mission, I wouldn''t have even umted half of that price."
Eager to learn more, Sam extended his hand and said, "Uncle, give me the ''Combat Mirror.'' I want to check its attributes."
"Of course, young master," Zhou Wen said, summoning a skeleton from his summoning space. The skeleton held a mirror-like object, which Zhou Wen handed to Sam.
Sam took the ''Combat Mirror'' while he could feel the skeleton''s power.
He admired it and said, "Uncle Zhou, your skeleton is really strong."
Zhou Wen smiled and replied, "Young master, you should know that my talent is evolution, which helps me evolve the skeleton''s grade and stats."
Sam pped himself on the forehead and said, "Of course, why didn''t I think of that? I must have been too busy," but soon his smile broadened, and thought, "But what if I could copy that talent?"

Zhou Wen, who was watching from the side, was confused by Sam''s smile.
"Master, copying that talent would put a strain on your soul," ''Copy Consciousness'' replied. "I am still researching a solution to this issue."
Sam''s face turned pale upon hearing this but was relieved when ''Copy Consciousness'' reassured him, "Master, I cannot copy that talent, but I have already stored all the data in my consciousness. As soon as I find a solution, I will copy all of those talents."
Feeling a glimmer of hope, Sam''s thoughts returned to the ''Combat Mirror.''
"Neo, give me the details of the ''Combat Mirror,''" he requested as he put down the object in inventory and soon took out.

Upon Sam''s request, he handed over the ''Combat Mirror'', a glistening object.
As Sam took hold of the mirror, he became engrossed in deep thought, muttering to himself.
Observing from the sidelines, Zhou Wen''s brow furrowed as he noticed the young master once again bing absorbed in his own world.
Lost in thought, Zhou Wen''s attention was suddenly drawn to a ringing sound emanating from his workout attire.
A melodic ringtone echoed through the air, catching his attention.
"Whose call could this be?" he muttered to himself, ncing at the caller ID disyed on his phone.
Without hesitation, he swiftly answered the call.
"Call connected," the voice on the other end announced.
"Zhou Wen, listen carefully," a serious voicemanded, instantly putting Zhou Wen on high alert.
"Yes, please tell me if there is something wrong," he responded, his tone matching the seriousness of the situation.
"Alright, you must take proper care of the vi and conduct a thorough security inspection," the voice continued, its urgency palpable.
Zhou Wen''s confusion grew as he listened intently. "Is someone attempting to infiltrate the vi?" he inquired, hoping for rification.
"Not at this moment, but we must always remain cautious. There are certain families that may attempt to harm us," the voice exined, shedding light on the gravity of the situation.
"Understood. You can count on me to ensure the safety of the vi. I will conduct a secret inspection soon," Zhou Wen assured, his voice filled with determination.
"Very well," came the response. "Call disconnected."
After concluding the conversation with the butler, Zhou Wen turned his attention back to Sam and asked, "Young master, have you examined the object?"
Lost in his own thoughts once more, Sam snapped back to reality upon hearing Zhou Wen''s voice.
"Yes, I have checked it," he replied absentmindedly, extending his hand with the ''Combat Mirror''.
"Very well, young master," Zhou Wen acknowledged, epting the ''Combat Mirror'' from Sam.
He then proceeded to inform Sam about the conversation he had just had with the butler, revealing the intricate details of the Province Xth situation.
Sam''s brow furrowed upon hearing thisplex revtion about the state of affairs in Province Xth.
Confusion evident in his voice, he questioned, "Shouldn''t the Federation be aware of this? Isn''t it their duty to ensure the safety of all families?"
Zhou Wen smiled at the young master''s innocence and replied, "Young master, everything in this world revolves around self-interest. The Federation''s interest could be money or something else entirely, who knows?"
Understanding dawned on Sam''s face, although notpletely. In his own words, he responded, "Perhaps a high-ranking member of the Federation has defected."
"Indeed, young master. I shall attend to my duties now," Zhou Wen affirmed, making his way towards his work.
As Zhou Wen departed, Sam contemted for a moment before murmuring to himself, "After a refreshing bath, let''s go conquer some dungeon towers."

He watched the news coverage of the chaos in Province Xth, a knot forming in the pit of his stomach.
After a brief exchange with the other members of the vi, Sam retreated to his room, exhaustion weighing heavily upon him.
As heid on his bed, his mind gued by the unsettling feeling, he murmured to himself, "Neo, cancel today''s chaos training."
[Understood, host], Neo replied dutifully.

In the grand vi, a group of concerned individuals gathered on the ground floor.
They looked to the butler, their eyes filled with curiosity and a hint of trepidation.
The butler, taking a deep breath to steady himself, surveyed the room before addressing the assembled guests.
"I have called you all here for two crucial reasons," he began.
The group leaned in, their attention fully captured by the butler''s words, their senses heightened.
"You have undoubtedly heard about the chaos unfolding in Province Xth.
The cult''s actions have thrown the region into disarray, and even the Federation is struggling to contain them."
A murmur of concern rippled through the room, everyone realizing the gravity of the situation.
The butler continued, his voice filled with a sense of urgency, "The second reason for this gathering is to implore you all to exercise utmost caution. Forces are at y, and they may seize this opportunity to wreak havoc. The events that transpired with the Xu Family a decade ago serve as a haunting reminder."
The members of the vi, except for Zhou Wen and Zhu Zhen, gasped audibly, their faces paling at the mention of the Xu Family tragedy.
"Is the situation truly that dire?" they asked, their voices tinged with disbelief.
The butler, his expression tinged with helplessness, replied gravely, "It is far worse than what meets the eye."
A collective shudder ran through the room, the gravity of the situation sinking in.
The butler continued, his voice resolute, "Zhou Wen, your primary duty is to protect the young master."
He then turned to Zhu Zhen and instructed, "Your responsibility is to oversee the security of the estate and gather any pertinent information regarding the situation in Province Xth."
Duties were assigned and distributed among the trusted members of the vi, each individual solemnly epting their role in the face of impending danger.

A figure entered through a secret passageway, falling to their knees before the leader.
Their voice quivered as they delivered the news, "Leader, our attempt to eliminate the Ice Guild''s daughter has failed."
The leader, savoring a ss of blood, clenched his hand in a fit of rage, causing the ss to shatter into a thousand shards.
Despite the turmoil within, his voice remained eerily calm as hemanded, "Tell me everything."
The informant, sensing the leader''s seething anger, recounted the events that unfolded at the market, holding nothing back.
Listening intently, the leader''s calm facade cracked, his fury boiling over.
"Who dares to meddle in our ns at the eleventh hour?" he bellowed; his fist clenched tightly.
Trembling, the informant revealed, "Leader, it was Wang Xiao, the leader of the Federation''s criminal department."
A sinister smile crept across the leader''s face, his eyes narrowing with malice. "If I cannot exact vengeance on him directly, I shall target his son," he hissed.
With amanding gaze, the leader ordered, "Go, add Wang Xiao''s name to our list."
"Understood, leader," the informant replied, their voice trembling with trepidation.

Province Xth
In the dimly lit room of the sprawling vi, a young boyy in deep slumber, his face twisted in pain as if tormented by unseen demons.
Abruptly, his eyes snapped open, jolting him from his restless slumber.
"What?" he eximed, his voice filled with confusion and fervor.
Sam, still groggy from his interrupted sleep, massaged his temples, desperately trying to hold onto every fragment of his dream.
Seeking sce from the disorienting haze, Sam made his way to the bathroom.
The sound of running water filled the air as he sshed cold water on his face, instantly banishing the remnants of sleepiness.
As he stared at his reflection in the mirror, anxiety etched itself onto his pale, crystal-clearplexion.
He knew that something important had transpired in his dream, and he needed to remember every detail.
Returning to his room, Sam calmed his racing mind and reached for a notebook.
With a determined focus, he opened it to a fresh page and began to document the contents of his dream.
First and foremost, the surroundings in his dream confirmed that the events had taken ce in Province Xth.
A burning vi stood at the center of it all, with a man''s voice uttering the name "Carey" - the very name of the torched vi.
Sam''s memory faltered, but he managed to capture the essence of what he had heard.
Next, he vividly recalled high-ranking individuals attempting to besiege a butler, their intentions clear - they sought his demise.
Strangely, the butler seemed unperturbed, his eyes filled with an unexpected sense of relief.

40 Chapter 40: Is everything prepared?
Strangely, the butler seemed unperturbed, his eyes filled with an unexpected sense of relief.
Amidst the chaos, the surnames Zhang and Wu echoed through the battle, indicating an alliance against the Carey family.
Satisfied with his recollection, Sam breathed a sigh of relief.
He had managed to capture the main details of his dream, ensuring that they wouldn''t slip away like fragments of a fading memory.
But just as he thought he had grasped the full extent of his dream, a sharp pain pierced his mind.
Clutching his head, Sam groaned in agony and murmured, "Oh man! What the hell is happening with me?"
Memories flooded his consciousness, overwhelming and yet unignorable.
Five minutester, Sam rose from the ground, his clothes drenched in sweat.
Examining the memories that had emerged amidst the searing pain, an indescribable expression crossed his face.
"I haven''t fully regained all the memories from ''Return as Strongest Novel,'' but fragments remain," he murmured, the weight of his realization sinking in.
These memories were undeniable evidence, entangled with the excruciating pain, representing a side story from the ''Return as Strongest yer'' novel.
Determined to piece together the puzzle, Sam retrieved his notebook, ready to transcribe the contents of these fragmented memories onto its pages.
In the novel, ''Return as Strongest yer,'' the Carey family, the very family that had been at the center of his dream, did not exist in Province Xth.
The Wu family, the heroine''s family, did exist but had suffered a tarnished reputation due to their connection with the downfall of the Carey family.
The Zhang family, on the other hand, were portrayed as antagonists in the first volume of the novel.
With every revtion, Sam''s understanding deepened.
He realized that the world of the novel and the reality he now found himself in were vastly different.
The novel provided only glimpses into the lives of the main characters, leaving out crucial details about side characters and hidden truths.
However, Sam refused to let his emotions sway him.
He knew that he needed to summarize the details from both his dream and the novel''s memories in order to uncover the truth.
Piece by piece, the puzzle began to take shape, revealing a disturbing connection between the destruction of the Carey family and the impending fate of the butler, intertwining with the Wu and Zhang families.
A surge of unnamed anger welled up within Sam as he contemted the thought of someone harming his butler who has been living with him childhood or emotionally connected.
Yet, he quicklyposed himself, understanding that his priority was to gather all the information he could to save his uncle and the other workers.
With renewed determination, Sam set out to refine his knowledge, fully aware that it held the key to protecting those he held dear.
The pieces were slowly falling into ce, and Sam vowed to leave no stone unturned on his decision for the truth to save his family.
As he meticulously examined each clue, a sense of urgency consumed him.
The fate of his uncle and the family rested on his shoulders.
Sam''s mind raced, connecting the dots and drawing conclusions based on the fragmented memories and the hidden truths within the novel.
Seconds turned into minutes as Sam delved deeper into the intricate web of secrets.
Despite the overwhelmingplexity due to gaining the dream''s memories and novel''s memories which were confusing as which one is going to remain true, he still remained steadfast, fueled by a burning determination and a flicker of hope to save his uncle.
Soon, with each passing moment, Sam''s understanding expanded, and he saw the bigger picture taking shape in his mind.
As time swiftly slipped away, barely noticeable, the distant melody of birdsong began to permeate the air, gently interrupting his deep concentration.
Startled from his reverie, he shifted his gaze towards the horizon, where the Sun valiantly struggled to emerge from the clutches of darkness, poised to illuminate the vast expanse of the cerulean sky.
A whisper escaped his lips, den with a sense of resignation, "Indeed, time does fly with relentless swiftness."
Emerging from the confines of his thoughts, he wearily rose from his seat and made his way to the bathroom, seeking sce in a cold shower that would alleviate the umted fatigue brought on by his ceaseless contemtion.
The frigid water cascaded over his weary form, rejuvenating his exhausted body and awakening his senses.
Once refreshed, he adorned himself in the attire befitting his abode, his mind already fixated on the imminent danger that still lurked in the shadows, a constant threat posed by the Wu and Zhang families.
He smiled and murmured, "Gold, Diablo.." and soon 10 skeletons appeared.
As the skeletal figures emerged from the ethereal realm of the undead, they immediately dropped to one knee and spoke in perfect unison, "Master."
Observing this sight, I calmly uttered, "Rise," prompting all the skeletons to stand tall in my presence.
Then, with amanding tone, I issued my next order, "Transmute yourselves into human semnce."
As their bony figures morphed into flesh and blood, I surveyed the newly transformed beings before me. "Your duty," I stated firmly, "is to inform me of every detail."
In unison, the skeletons replied, their voices now human, "Yes, Master."
"Very well," I continued, "Go and take up residence in the building adjacent to the vi."
I had already instructed the butler to construct a suitable ce for the skeletons to reside, and now it stood ready, hidden from prying eyes.
With the elite skeletons settled, a sense of relief washed over me.
I turned my focus towards preparing for my uing school trip, a brief respite from the shadows that constantly loomed over my existence.
