Lee towered over him with a stern look in his eye, his bright blue eyes beating Geddon¡¯s hazel brown eyes in a tug of war. ¡°You have act more like the Royal that you are Geddon, I¡¯m your captain this time I can¡¯t let you die out there.¡± Geddon stared at the ground and got up, gathering his things. ¡°I know we¡¯ll be fine Lee and me being a novice doesn¡¯t help either.¡± He said making Lee retreat his stern gaze. The two boys were all set and began to walk out the stone building they were in to find the blinding sun. After they adjusted to the light the steampunk like village were all the more beautiful today. A middle aged woman with dark blue hair and hazel brown eyes resembling Geddon turned and looked at them. With her there were two other women and three other men, all dressed looking for war. ¡°Mom is everything alright? Why is half the Council here?¡± Geddon asked the middle aged woman. ¡°Lee, I see you haven¡¯t got the Young Lord to be respectful haven¡¯t you? I put you under his care for a reason.¡± One of the men said. Lee shouted yes sir and gave a look to Geddon that meant watch your back later. The woman walked over to Geddon and put both her hands on his cheeks. ¡°Dear out of our house my title is Lord Regina, please follow the rules dear.¡± She said making Geddon feel a little bad. She drew a sword from behind her and presented it in front of Geddon. ¡°L-Lord Regina this is the SunSpore are you giving it to me?¡± He asked caught in the aura of the sword. The SunSpore. Lee was speechless. Not knowing that Geddon could wield it without any problem, once he seen someone try to pick it up and had fallen into a deep coma, still to this day inside his deep sleep. Lord Regina turned to the Council with glee. ¡°Before I send off this team derived of Geddon and Lee of HellHelm there is one more addition. ¡°Huh?¡± Lee blurted out as he and the others turned to a voice shouting closer to them. ¡°GUYYYYYS DONT LEAVE YET!¡± The voice echoed. A young boy emerged from the side of the building housing a bow and a quiver of arrows behind him. He was in tan hide clothing with the basic look of a hunter. ¡°Oh no anybody but THIS one.¡± Lee said under his breath. The boy hunched over and took a few seconds to catch his breath. AS YOUR RIVAL I HAVE TO GET STRONGER TO CATCH UP WITH YOU!¡± The boy yelled while pointing at him. The Council was in utter shock of how the boy displayed not a pint of common decency in front of. Then. Geddon looked to the boy and grinned. ¡°I¡¯ll teach you swordsmanship as long as you can defeat me, Aim!¡± He said as he gave him a clutched fist along with his smile. ¡°Ahem, Captain Lee your team is now at the required minimal of three units. I hereby declare you Captain of Team Protostar!¡± ¡°Thank you my Lord, I will not fail you or the village. I put my life on it.¡± Lee said with his head bowed. ¡°My my Lord Regina a respectable Captain to lead. I see the most potential on his upbringing.¡± Hammond, one of the council men said. ¡°Yes Lord Hammond he is my brightest pupil, if anyone can be trusted with this it¡¯s him.¡± She said giving a smile to Lee. ¡°With respect milady we have to start getting a move on soon¡± one of the women said. Lord Regina examined the three boys. ¡°Lee, Aim, and Geddon of team Protostar you are tasked with the mission of getting to the outskirts of Foresun to help exterminate nests of Wolven ¡°Fiends.¡± Aim smacked his fists together ready to get going with the mission. ¡°Are there any further complaints¡±? ¡°No Lord Regina! The three boys followed the path towards Foresun but without them noticing, someone or something has already gotten on their trail and their eyes were fixated on the short young boy that is wearing all black, has hazel brown eyes, and dark blue hair. 003: Night Sky. ¡°Hey Lee even though you¡¯re Captain you know you still can¡¯t beat me and Geddon right?¡± Aim snapped in Lee¡¯s ears. Where the boys are now they have to take the path on the forest to the mountain region. At least for now, the journey will be a bit simple. ¡°Give it a break Aim, the only reason I don¡¯t show you who¡¯s boss right now is because I need you in good health.¡± Lee stated back. Geddon was too into the scenery to pay the other two any attention. His eyes fixated on the nature around him. ¡°Aim watch both our sides, Geddon you¡¯re the youngest and fastest you watch the rear, and I¡¯ll watch the front to defend against anything head on¡±. ¡°Yessss Captain.¡± Aim said drawing his bow and scanning the tree lines. Lee stopped moving causing Aim and Geddon to follow after him. He turned around and headed towards Aim, clenching his shirt. ¡°Aim! This is serious my pledge as a Commander depends on this mission and you won¡¯t mess that up will you?!¡± Lee¡¯s fist got tighter. ¡°Hey hey alright Lee I¡¯ll take it serious, when have I ever failed you out of all people?!¡± Aim said trying to fight off Lee¡¯s hand but he overpowered him. The boys have been walking and the sky glowing red orange, the sun beginning to retreat to the other side of the world. ¡°We should rest up ahead for the night, we¡¯re still not in dangerous territory and I need to talk to you two anyway.¡± Lee said breaking the silence. ¡°This area should be good Lee, we can hide in the trees¡± Aim said pointing to the woods to the right of them. ¡°Alright eyes sharp let¡¯s set up¡±. The three boys entered the woods and set up three individual tents, putting down their gear and making a small campfire. Aim had already put down various traps around the vicinity in case someone or some thing decides to stroll in. At the campfire the boys simmered jerky that they had brought with them on their travels as the night sky came along with the stars. ¡°Aim, Geddon.¡± Lee said taking a bite. He had noticed the tension in the air resulting from earlier. ¡°What¡¯s up Lee?¡± Geddon asked, his and Aim¡¯s attention grabbed. ¡°Have you ever fought Fiends before Aim¡±? ¡°Fiends?¡± Aim said looking confused. Lee let out a sigh and cursed the mentors who didn¡¯t tell him information, especially when it was his first day out the boundaries. ¡°I don¡¯t know much about them either Aim, just Lee saved me from a couple of lower level ones.¡± Geddon assured his teammate. The monsters named Fiends¡±. 004: Campfire Tales. Aim gulped as he heard those words. ¡°I really wouldn¡¯t say those creatures are monsters. He looked directly at Geddon before saying anything else. ¡°Long ago the world was in harmony and lived together in one big village, from what I heard the people called it ''Pangea''. All races were open arms with one another. But that soon ended when the Earth split and erupted, causing the oceans to flow away parts of ''Pangea'' in our separate Sectors that we¡¯re in now¡±. The fire started to crackle even louder making Aim jump up a bit and look over his shoulder, remembering what he saw earlier. ¡°Out from parts of the world, horrifying creatures started to crawl out from the earth, these creatures are something you never seen before Aim, and aren¡¯t your normal hunts. They are a cross breed between two or more animals and/or insects and give off a malicious aura that can stop you in your tracks, not like the lower levels¡±. Lee looked down into the fire giving off a blank stare that had some sadness behind it. ¡°I¡¯ve had teammates who died to them and didn¡¯t make it past age twelve¡­they don¡¯t stop, until every ounce of your blood is theirs¡±. Well I¡¯ve been chosen to be a Master Hunter, I¡¯m not like you Royals who get to choose¡±. Lee took noticed in Aim¡¯s anger then looked at Geddon. ¡°I wanna be as strong as my mom! Lee got up from the log he was sitting on and told everyone they should get some sleep and travel at first light. The team agreed and put out the campfire, going back to their tents. As Geddon unzipped his tent he couldn¡¯t shake off a strange feeling of somehow being watched from the dark of the forest. ¡°Fiends, humans, hell even these ¡®godlike¡¯ beings I keep hearing about.¡± Geddon thought. ¡°I¡¯ll still become the shining Star my village will be proud of and make this world as it should be¡±! 005: Change Of Plans. A muffled voice was screaming something but Geddon was too deep into his sleep to make it out. ¡°Geddon!¡± A lingering voice echoed. ¡°GEDDON!!¡± Geddon¡¯s eyes opened abruptly to Aim shaking him furiously and yelling his name. ¡°Aim what¡¯s going on?!¡± Geddon said still in a bit of sleep. Aim gave an expression like he seen a ghost and was sweating profusely. The bright rays from the sun shot into the tent. ¡°Lee has been gone for awhile and his gear is still in his tent!¡± He finally said. Geddon shot up from his padding and both boys went outside to check Lee¡¯s tent. Aim was right. All of Lee¡¯s belongings were still in the tent, even his daggers and Scabbard that he had brought with him. ¡°Aim¡¯s right, Lee wouldn¡¯t leave all his things going anywhere, even if he still has that.¡± Geddon thought. He picked up Lee¡¯s pack and flung it across his shoulders. ¡°Geddon we need to track down Lee what if he¡¯s in danger?¡± Aim brought up. ¡°By the rules you are second in command of the team.¡± At first Geddon was slightly trembling as he didn¡¯t know what to do, it was his first mission after all and already in a tough situation. One day he showed up late for class one day and wasn¡¯t the same in Geddon¡¯s perspective again. ¡°Yeah but there¡¯s a reason Geddon like I said last night, anyway let¡¯s look for the Captain I don¡¯t see anything here¡±. Geddon smiled, reassuring its alright and he was just curious. ¡°You¡¯ll blow everyone back on how strong of a Hunter you¡¯ll be¡±. Aim smiled back. The two boys went into the tents and grabbed their gear. Aim went to lead Geddon on the path to see if they could see any footprints in the dirt. ¡°Bullseye!¡± Aim noticed there were three different set of footprints. ¡°That one is Lee¡¯s I can tell by the shoes in our village, plus you see this here?¡± He pointed to small holes in the center of Lee¡¯s footprints. ¡°Is Lee wearing a spike or something?¡± Geddon said with a bit of a snicker. The two boys followed the footprints until they ended up near a stream with a few cliffs above them. A beautiful plot of land with grass and flowers everywhere. Large yellow flowers had been recently been trampled over and big enough for the size of three people confirming Aim¡¯s theory. The two boys began to walk closer to the stream when Aim halted Geddon. ¡°What¡¯s up Aim?¡± He whispered. ¡°I can hear chatter I don¡¯t recognize the voices¡±. ¡°Wait I can¡¯t hear anything how can you¡±? ¡°When you listen try to use the bones in your ears, usually humans don¡¯t use all of them. When you do that, start to close your eyes and pinpoint the area where you hear what you¡¯re searching for¡±. Geddon just looked confused but did what Aim told him. He pictured the area closely using his photographic memory and swept his eyes to the left, nothing. He went to the center and looked forward, nothing. He finally turned his sight to the right, *muttering*. He opened his eyes ¡°hey I heard chatter but I can¡¯t make it out to the right¡±. Aim shot a smile ¡°it took me a week to get the hang of it and you do it in one go, you are a genius Star¡±. He raised his bow from behind his back and instructed Geddon to follow his lead. ¡°Don¡¯t worry Lee we¡¯re gonna get you back.¡± Geddon said as the two boys hopped down and crouched into the flowers. 006: First Encounter. The two boys made their way to the right side of the field where they seen a group of four men all huddled up together. They looked like they were beating on whoever they had. ¡°I can¡¯t see do you think they have Lee?¡± Geddon asked. ¡°There¡¯s only one way to find out, come on.¡± Aim dropped down from the rocks they were on. Geddon followed after and Aim stopped him again. ¡°There¡¯s a dog I hear it, we need to take it out before getting close, if it is Lee I know he can hold on a bit longer¡±. As they were getting closer they could hear bits of the what the men were saying. Geddon closed his eyes and listened closely. ¡°We know you work under Lord Regina of HellHelm, tell us where her son is and you¡¯ll be spared.¡± One of the men snapped punching the person they had in the stomach. Geddon eyes opened quickly. ¡°My mother? It has to be him.¡± Geddon gripped his fist. Without warning Geddon unholstered his SunSpore and charged forward towards the men. ¡°WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU¡¯RE DOING?!¡± He screamed at them. ¡°GEDDON!¡± Aim shouted. ¡°FALL BACK¡±! Aim heard the dog barking and running towards Geddon. He took his time and aimed his bow at the dog and fired. The arrow zoomed with incredible speed and hit the dog, making it fall over on its side with a larger hole than what an arrow usually makes. The men turned around and seen Geddon almost to them. Aim ran a little closer and began to aim his bow. The person they had was Lee, and he was bloodied and beaten, his body falling to the ground reaching his arm out to Geddon. As Geddon inched closer, an arrow whizzed passed him and hit one of the men in his stomach knocking him backwards onto the ground. ¡°GEDDON DODGE AND GO STRAIGHT FOR LEE!¡± Aim shouted surprisingly running forward and drawing his bow at the same time. Geddon dodged two of the men but stopped in front of the one who he seen punching Lee directly, taking a stance. With a little uncertainty of himself Geddon had a late reaction in swinging his sword. The man counter him by punching him directly into his stomach. At first it was nothing but as the man dug his fist deeper Geddon recognized something. *WHOOSH* The blades of grass and flowers blew over to one side. Geddon suddenly coughed up blood and was sent flying back a few inches. It felt like his whole stomach was entirely crushed, certainly it wasn¡¯t an ordinary punch. ¡°Geddon Nova?¡± The man who hit him asked, he was a bigger man in physique than the rest of them with a dark skin tone and black short hair. ¡°I am Proctor Braun, instructor of the White Crown Army under King Lionel¡¯s command¡±. ¡°The King¡¯s army?¡± Geddon thought not being able to ignore the pain. The pit in his stomach made it harder for him to move his whole body. As he started to walk forward Geddon began to sweat and gripped his fist tighter to notice he still held the SunSpore. ¡°My legs have to move¡­I have to move.¡± He thought. He began to see memories of each time he had to be assisted. ¡°I have to protect Lee this time¡±! *WHIZ* An arrow was shot straight at the man who was stepping towards Geddon and stopped him in his tracks as he looked forward. ¡°AND I AM AIM NIGHTFALL OF HELLHELM, STRONGEST HUNTER IN TRAINING!¡± Screamed Aim feet away from them. Proctor Braun chuckled seeing his two men on the ground dead, and the one Aim shot earlier. Aim drew another arrow. ¡°Get back from my teammate or you¡¯ll pay with your life.¡± Proctor Braun continued laughing and took one more step towards Geddon. Aim immediately fired an arrow but Braun grabbed it with his hand and shattered it. ¡°What?!¡± Aim said confused on how he did that, Aim was the number one rookie in archery inside of HellHelm. Even though he didn¡¯t possess the same power as the Royals and top Warriors in the village, Aim¡¯s skill with the bow and arrow are still powerful. He put his bow behind him and armed himself with daggers in both hands. ¡°Geddon run and head for the Captain¡±! 007: Hard Work. ¡°No! We have to fight together!¡± Geddon replied finally finding strength to get up. Proctor Braun stood still and looked at both of them. ¡°Well in that case indulge me on the new prospects of HellHelm.¡± Braun disregarded Geddon and headed for Aim. Geddon tried to run but stumbled back on the ground. ¡°Did that hit affect my legs?¡± He thought feeling a tingling sensation in his legs. Braun and Aim clashed. ¡°What?!¡± Aim thought looking at Braun¡¯s fist equal to his dagger. Braun took two quick punches towards Aim who deflected them. Both of the daggers cracked slightly and Aim tried to slash Braun¡¯s hand but his dagger flew into the air. Braun went in for another punch and Aim dodged him, using his small height to his advantage. Aim rolled under his legs and stuck his dagger into Braun¡¯s leg. Braun yelled out and turned around to grab Aim before he could completely get away. Braun hoisted Aim in the air and slammed him into the ground then picked him up and did it again, and again, and again. Aim struggled to get away but every time he was thrown to the ground he felt himself get weaker until he struggled to struggle. ¡°Geddon¡­¡± he called out with a weak tone. ¡°You have no power, you must be a peasant.¡± Braun taunted Aim, throwing him down for a final time. ¡°AIM!¡± Geddon yelled finally getting up to assist. Geddon jumped backwards and Aim had moved beside him. ¡°He shifted his body I couldn¡¯t go for his head.¡± Geddon told Aim. ¡°It¡¯s still one of his arms down, don¡¯t get hit by him again.¡± Aim replied getting his dagger back from Geddon and readying it. ¡°You boys are quite something, so young to have a Danger Rank.¡± Braun said to the two. Somehow, the SunSpore inflicted the wound of course but also cauterized it after a few seconds. Braun gave a more serious demeanor now. ¡°This is self defense this is no broken law, we did nothing!¡± Aim shouted. Geddon and Aim then felt immense energy coming from Braun. He clenched his fist and his hand had various veins they looked like they were about to pop. ¡°Playtime is over, I¡¯ve been sent to kill you Geddon Nova.
