《THE SHADOW OF THE ABYSS》 BEGINNINGS It was early in the morning when a young woman with a child-like face walked into a dimly lit room. On the floor of the room lay all manner of books dropped all over the place and in the middle of the room was a cot. In it lay a young dark child who was turning and tossing in his dream. Just look at his highness dreaming. What sweet dreams he must have thought the lady. She slowly picked up the child and held him close to his heart. You must grow big quickly and protect us from the big bad goddess the lady spoke to the boy. The child after sensing it was no longer on its bed opened its eyes and looked at the lady. It remembered her as the lady who always gave him food. He started moving his hands towards her breasts and squeezed them signaling it wanted its food. ¡°Such a naughty boy,¡± said the lady while kissing the boy on its nose. She removed her breast and brought the baby¡¯s head nearer to which the baby responded by suckling the breast. The white liquid was as sweet as always thought the boy as it continued sucking the breast. Soon the baby had drunk to its full and the lady laid the baby on her shoulder and gently patting his back. The baby then responded by burping on the lady¡¯s back. Suddenly a wall of water fell where the baby had burped followed by a fire which then dried her back. The baby was intrigued by this and started clapping its hand signaling for more of that. ¡°You are always interested in magic aren¡¯t you my wittwe cute baby waby,¡± said the Lady. ¡°Seriously Lyoss when will you stop speaking like that. Do you know how nuts, it drives me,¡± said a second lady as she entered the room. Lyoss who was suddenly caught in action become embarrassed and was unable to face the lady who had just entered. ¡°Just look at how cute the wittwe baby is,¡± said Lyoss. ¡°Just forget about it. How is his majesty doing today?¡± asked the lady. ¡°For your information Minerva, his majesty is doing just fine,¡± replied Lyoss. ¡°However, he still seems very interested in magic as always.¡± ¡°That is to be expected since he is, after all, him,¡± replied Minerva. ¡°Just take him to you know who for his lessons to continue.¡± ¡°Can¡¯t I teach him?¡± asked Lyoss. ¡°What will happen if he devours your magic. That is something even he cannot bring you from,¡± replied Minerva. ¡°But can I be with him during his lessons?¡± Lyoss protested further. ¡°Just do as you like,¡± said Minerva. Lyoss walked out of the room while carrying the child and started walking up the flight of stairs. While walking she met several people who she greeted and she noticed how bright the sun was that morning. Due to Lyoss fast walking the child found her speed to be too much and it squeezed its little fingers across Lyoss index finger. Lyoss noticed this and squeezed back his little hand gently while also slowing down her pace to the point of comfort for the little child. Lyoss then finished walking up the stairs and reached on top where she found a large brown oak door. The door was engraved with various magic sigils and circles and they were so powerful they were said to have killed a low-level god who tried to break into the room. She walked up the door and looked at one of the larger sigils. It was a pentagram circle with five unknown symbols beside each triangle an eye in the middle of the pentagram. She didn¡¯t know what the meaning behind each symbol was or even know its mechanism. The child looked at the pentagram and placed its hand on the symbol on the middle of the pentagram which caused it to glow red and its colour spread to the other sigils on the door like veins on the hand. After all the red-like vein symbol had uncovered the whole door only then did it open slowly. The doors opened to reveal a large audience hall behind it. There were only five chairs with one in the middle and two chairs on the right and the left of the middle chair. Sitting on the middle chair was a large man but rather a large beast-like man with two horns on his head. The left horn on his temple was half broken and the other had signs of breaking two. What caused on to break she knew the answer but respectfully declined to ever bring up the story in front of him. Besides the chairs, there were eight pillars four on the left and on the right which was also evenly spaced. The pillars themselves had the same sigils as the body but the sigils on the pillars were ever glowing and had an aura of otherworldly about them. This novel is published on a different platform. Support the original author by finding the official source. She slowly walked towards the man and after reaching him she handed the baby while relying upon everything that had transpired that morning about the baby. ¡°Ever healthy are your little one,¡± the man spoke while lifting the baby. ¡°Excuse me but can I stay and look at the magic lessons together with the baby,¡± said Lyoss. ¡°That¡¯s not a problem you can stay Lyoss,¡± said the man. The man then signaled for Lyoss to for him where he led them even further into the infinite hall and after some few minutes, they came to a stop. In front of them were six pillars arranged circularly and inside the pillars was a large black glowing orb that radiated an aura of despair and agony. They walked inside the pillars and came to a stop where the man took the baby''s hand and placed it on the orb. Several blue hand-like features appeared from within the orb and grabbed the little hand which was pulled inside the orb. ¡°Confirm status,¡± the man spoke to the orb. A black-like semi-transparent sheet appeared in front of them and on it was listed the status of the baby. NAME: Locked RACE: Fallen RACIAL TRAIT: Locked RACIAL SKILL: Locked RANK: Divine Enemy AFFILIATION: World Evil STATS VITALITY: 68,000G STRENGTH: 50,000G AGILITY: 40,000G MANA: 100,000G STAMINA: 72,000G INTELLIGENCE: 68,000G SKILLS: PASSIVE: Nullify Dark Vision Nature¡¯s Essence ACTIVE: Devourer: lv 8 Chant cancel: lv 7 UNIQUE SKILLS: Dark God Dark Judge Creation Law CURSES: Heaven¡¯s wrath !?#:/! Sacrificial reincarnation !?#:/! Divine Judgment After checking the boy¡¯s status, a smile could be seen on the man¡¯s face. ¡°To think that you have already surpassed me while so young. Truly deserving of your race my liege. We must now prepare you for your role in the coming battle. A lot of people will die by your hand but that doesn¡¯t matter so long as we kill the goddess. We are all waiting for you,¡± said the man. The blue hands released the baby¡¯s hand and retraced back into the black orb which cracked a little where the hand had been placed. The man handed back the baby to Lyoss where it felt the sense of security and tightly latched itself near the breasts. The two of them then walked outside of the hall into the field which was surrounded by trees shedding their blue leaves. The field looked like a stairway into paradise with the gentle wind blowing across their faces while also carrying the falling leaves. ¡°Lyoss, do you know that everything here was created by his majesty before the war. I remember sitting down here with him and a few other gods while slowly watching the sunset. His majesty used to play the flute. One he played it so well we fell asleep for days. If only things hadn¡¯t gone the way they, had you would have enjoyed his late-night performances,¡± the man said. He had an air of regret about the way things were right now because he seemed distant. He never spoke too many words but he always seemed as if he was blaming himself. Maybe his silent solitude was his way of redemption but she didn''t know so she never discussed anything of the past with him. ¡°He gave up everything for us and as a result, he was judged by heaven and hell itself. He paid the ultimate price for all of us and now where are alive while he suffers. We look for the demons below us but they are above us,¡± the man said while sighing. ¡°Memento Vectus,¡± the man said. There was a sudden flare of white flames which spread from where they were standing. The flame went consuming all the falling leaves and vanished after reaching the large tree with leaves and left behind writings in the air which the man read. ¡°So, it looks li they have already found us. They will most like be here by tonight,¡± the man continued, ¡°Lyoss take the baby back to the hall and wait for me there.¡± SIDES The whole castle was on high alert after it was reported that the gods were coming to invade them. Everybody was preparing their gear for one last fight. The maids were donning their battle clothes while others were preparing their spells, illusions and some were summoning demons to fight in their stead. However, on the wall sat two people who looked into the horizon while drinking and chatting. ¡°Barbato, do you know nostalgic this is?¡± Minerva asked the large man. ¡°Yes, I do remember the feeling of fighting in the front lines. When you meet with the enemy and none knew the outcome until the end. Such good times they were,¡± replied Barbato. ¡°So can you guess what today¡¯s outcome will be Barbato?¡± asked Minerva. ¡°The cards are not on our side today. We will all fall here today,¡± replied Barbato. ¡°If today¡¯s fate is fixed what about the future,¡± asked Minerva. ¡°If everything goes to plan then the future is looking fucking bright to me,¡± replied Barbato. ¡°Then let''s fall as gloriously as we can,¡± replied Minerva ¡°Then I¡¯ll drink to that and leave the future to him,¡± replied Barbato. The two then raised their cups emptied their content and then proceeded to walk into the hall. Lyoss was currently and was waiting when the doors were opened when Minerva and Barbato entered. Barbato walked to Lyoss and signalled for her to move where they had been earlier while Minerva was standing near the circular pillars on the right side. She cast some form of magic making the pillar¡¯s glow change from blue to red and the rest of the pillars followed the same. After finishing her cast, she then proceeded to pull some items from her storage space which she then placed on the floor. ¡°Are all the ingredients there Minerva?¡± asked Barbato. ¡°I had checked and confirmed all of them all here, Barbato,¡± replied Minerva. ¡°All that is left is now the summoning,¡± said Barbato. Minerva was then instructed to door the same pentagram Lyoss had seen on the door while Barbato removed an old parchment from his storage space. The parchment had listed the necessary items required for the summoning which were: Barbato looked at the ingredients which Minerva was unravelling and remembered how they had been on death¡¯s door many a time to gather them. Back then he questioned the purpose of doing so but it seems they finally found their use. He read the instruction and relayed them to Minerva who followed them as instructed. Minerva placed an ancient cauldron with equally mysterious sigils in the middle of the pentagram followed by the black orb used to check the status of the boy but no one knew it was the crystallization of death except Barbato and Minerva. Second, she removed Fate¡¯s blood which was sealed in a blue jar, poured it and mixed it with the black orb. This caused the mixture to obtain a silver-black hue which was frothing. The blood of the Fallen and Creation magic was obtained when the baby¡¯s palm was cut and the blood seeped into the mixture. Next was the Soul of a god and Barbato produced a bright shining gold-coloured essence from his storage space. It had no definite shape and was wiggling around his palm where it was held tightly. He added the soul which caused the mixture to froth violently causing cracks to appear on the cauldron. If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. The last and final ingredient was the essence of the summoned. Minerva this time produced a black essence also sealed in another ancient jar with similar sigils to the cauldron. The black essence was bubbling and upon inspection of the jar, one would notice that the sigils were fading in both colour and strength. ¡°This is my most primal form of existence. I offer myself willingly both in body and soul and bind myself to thee using the boy as the medium and you as the summoned. I bind thee to the boy as is required as his magic flows from the boy to you I call upon you ¡®Deus Mortis¡¯,¡± shouted Barbato as Minerva poured the black essence into the cauldron. The mixture frothed extremely violently and the ancient cauldron exploded sending its pieces flying everywhere and the hall was suddenly plunged with black mist and the aura of death was everywhere. The aura was so deep that one felt the icy cold fingers of death grabbing your soul. One couldn¡¯t endure it but could only quake in fear and despair silently on your own. The weather outside wasn¡¯t good either but was filled with red lightning and earthquakes which shook the whole valley and its neighbouring terrain. Everything in the whole valley was chaotic and nothing was able to resist the sheer aura of death in the area. This summoning had set the stage for maddening things to happen soon. On the other side of the valley was the enemy had prepared themselves sufficiently and were marching to the battlegrounds. Most of the individuals were mostly SSS ranked individuals with also a few gods mixed into the fray. This group was an amalgamation of the strong. They were happily marching and charting along the way when suddenly everything got fuzzy. The air got chilly and they were all hit by an aura of death and despair. Most of them didn¡¯t know what was happening but only one goddess knew what this was. She had experienced it before first hand and the outcome was the worst she had ever seen up to date. ¡°Barbato, what have you done!¡± she exclaimed in shock. People started falling and some started foaming at the mouth while shaking violently. Some severe cases had people bleeding from their orifices while screaming in agony. There was shock and despair among them as they saw their comrades fall never to rise again. ¡°Atut, what is happening,¡± the hero shouted while dragging himself near the goddess. ¡°They have already summoned it. Never did I think I would experience this again,¡± Atut shouted back to the hero. ¡°Who can the infected be healed?¡± shouted the hero. ¡°They can¡¯t once one is infected even; we gods cannot heal them or be healed. This magic is ancient which even predates even creation. The only thing we can do is kill the infected to stop it from spreading,¡± Atut answered. When the people heard they were to kill their comrades they started doubting whether what they heard was true or not. No one wanted to kill their friend who they had been together through thick and thin. Whatever or whoever that had caused this had dealt them huge damage and planted seeds of despair among them at the same time. One of the individuals saw his friend was infected and tried to heal him. ¡°Dom, it''s me, Matthew,¡± pleaded Matthew as he tried to heal his friend. Dom only replied with a single bite to his which caused dark veins to start developing from his hands and spread towards his chest. One of the gods, Aleron made quick work of both Matthew and Dom by slicing their heads off with a single spell. Once the others had seen what had happened to Matthew also started killing the other infected people. They were killing the infected who they didn¡¯t personally know or associate to avoid the pain of killing a friend and since Aleron didn¡¯t know anybody here personally he went on a killing spree by slaughtering anyone near his vicinity. Everybody had a look of guilt and disgust on their face but this was the only way to move forward. They swore silently to revenge their brethren once they reach the enemy¡¯s camp. This resulted in creating a sense of brotherhood which further united them and their belief that their enemy was the greater evil that needed to be purged. The hero was shocked as brother slew brother because he had never envisioned this would happen. The hero was not one of this reality but a summoned champion. His home was all bliss and beauty but once he came here the degree of violence and chaos shook his understanding of peace. The goddess then went ahead and painted Barbato as a demon king who was to be killed. At first, the hero didn¡¯t believe her but after he saw Atut¡¯s vision he became worried for humanity¡¯s sake. In the vision, he saw that Barbato had enslaved most of the Kingdoms while the people were suffering such that death was a relief and after experiencing their despair in the vision, he decided to unite all the human kingdoms. Most of the Kingdoms were reluctant but after seeing the vision their cold hearts were shaken that they began to demand the killing of Barbato that instant and that¡¯s why they were now heading to kill the demon king Barbato. After the mass killing, they all marched on with a heavy heart and after walking for a long time the shape of the castle become clear as day. It was big and well-fortified while somehow looking dejected. They all held their weapons, skills and magic close to their hearts as walking away now was not an option. They all knew the war had already begun the moment they laid their eyes upon the castle and they were willing to give it their all to return home safely. CHAPTER 3: MEETINGS PART 1 The black mist in the castle hall started clearing giving view to what appeared to be a little girl standing in front of them. She had her right side of the face covered with jet black hair while the rest of her face shifted in both colour and appearance every time one would look at her. At first, the left part appeared porcelain white and then by looking again it shifted to black with small blue scars running down her cheek. The only part that didn¡¯t change was the eye which had its distinct red colour just like the boy. The girl had the appearance of being cute and innocent but her eye suggested something else entirely. By gazing at the eye, one could feel their soul slowly corroding into nothingness and once you were pulled in the gaze it was impossible to pull yourself out again. You become lost never to be recovered again. Barbato was not looking at the girl directly but instead staring down as he had once experienced the power of her eyes. As she slowly walked towards Lyoss one could feel the aura her power was casting over them. Their very foundation of reality was crushed as they understood this was a being beyond the realm of gods because her presence outdated creation itself. They tried putting up magic defence barriers which collapsed as soon as they were cast. The girl took a deep breath and breathed out a few times. ¡°How nostalgic this is. To think I even forgot how rich in mana the air is!¡± she happily exclaimed. She twirled and jumped in delight as Lyoss and Minerva were shocked by her actions which seemed to contradict her suppressing aura. When she was twirling around her aura caught the presence of an aberration. Something was emitting an aura similar to her but somehow different. She couldn¡¯t quite wrap her finger around it but the presence was too evocative as it drew some of her memories. This aura no that is not possible she thought in her mind. She looked at what Lyoss held in her hand and was immediately drawn towards it. In just an instant she appeared where Lyoss was standing but met her path had been obscured by a large spear held by Barbato. The spear had a faint golden glow to it and its presence signifies that it was a divine weapon. However, it had lost much of its glory leaving it much weakened but still it was a divine weapon capable of handing out as much damage as possible to the opponent.Stolen novel; please report. The girl looked at Barbato¡¯s spear as if it was a joke and she raised her left hand and grabbed the speartip. This caused the spear to suddenly start glowing a dark red which started from the speartip to the handle and wherever the red line went it left the place crumbling to dust and soon Barbato was holding nothing but his fingers within his clutch. The girl looked agitated and with a swift flick of her wrist, Barbato was sent crashing into the nearby pillar which collapsed under the excessive force against it. When Barbato tried to stand the girl flicked her wrist several times which sent Barbato crushing all over the place. Later the only outcome was a battered Barbato with the entire place littered with broken wall pieces. She walked towards him and grabbed his neck with her left hand and slowly started to tighten her grip. Barbato tried to grab her hand but the lack of air dulled his motion leaving him in an incredible pitiful state. A loud yawning sound came from the baby which stopped all the commotion going on. With a loud breath, Barbato finally breathed again when she released her grip on him. Just like before she suddenly appeared in front of Lyoss unannounced and uninvited and took the boy away from her hands. A light breeze swept across the face of the boy which caused him to open his eyes. She saw that his left eye was red and his right eye was an abyssal black. This seemed to further exhilarate her as she rocked him back and forth. How long had she waited for this day truly this was miraculous no this was divine. In front of the boy was a girls face which was not familiar but strangely familiar. Her presence didn¡¯t indicate a threat but instead, he felt oddly calm and even peaceful as if without a worry in the world. He reached out to touch the face but had his hands held middle way. ¡°You can''t go touching people¡¯s faces lest you be cursed. However, since today is a joyous day I will give you my blessing whether it will a gift or a curse all depends on how you use it,¡± she told the boy. ¡°Your face reminds me of him. Both of you have the same eyes which makes me excited whenever you gaze upon me. He died before fulfilling his promise but promised me he will come again,¡± she continued, ¡°I shall give you one of my name, Mortem and your second name shall be !?#:/!. This means the death god who kills a thousand on a red night,¡± said the girl. Inside the boys head, he heard a voice that said Name acquisition acquired. The locked name is unsealed and the name Mortem has been acknowledged and granted. Secondary effects of the naming have been received and recognized and the unique skill (!?#:/!) has also been acknowledged and granted. The little girl silently looked into the boys status and after confirming both skills have been etched into his soul raised the boy and he felt a joyous feeling envelope him which caused both of them to laugh hysterically. None of them knew why they were so joyous but they just were. It was an indescribable feeling only affecting the two of them as the two laughed the night off. This might have seemed like an ordinary night to the people in the other kingdoms but this night was where madness was birthed and took shape. CHAPTER 3: MEETINGS PART TWO PART 2 In front of them stood a large castle that was breathtaking yet ominous. Most of them were taken back by the sheer size of the building but also wary of the traps laid behind the fa?ade. One could their comrade''s heart-pounding knowing that the final fight was here. If they failed then all humanity was lost. People looked for motivation from one another but nobody was currently offering any. ¡°We are the final line that will protect the human races. If we fall here then all humanity has fallen. Men and women are you willing to fall and die in unknown grounds without a proper burial,¡± the hero, Fidelis shouted. ¡°No,¡± the armies shouted in unison. ¡°If you are not willing then do what must be done,¡± he shouted back in response. Those words that Fidelis has spoken to them gave them the motivation to carry out the deed. Even though it was their death march they swore to make it their most memorable death march. As they approached the gate, they found it wide opened and though there were signs they were already trapped they continued walking. Just when the Atut had walked past the gate a bright white flash enveloped the area and when it was gone the goddess was missing and each group was teleported to a different area. Todd the Magician commander of the Elves found himself in an open grass field together with some of the armies of humans and dwarfs. He tried to look for viable escape roots but his eyes could only see the vast grass field which was never-ending. ¡°Illusion cancel,¡± he chanted but nothing visible changed. It was either the magic was beyond his level or this was simply not magic but reality. He started looking around and thinking for solutions but his thoughts were interrupted by the growing sound of several footsteps. Heading towards them were a dozen beings heading towards them. By looking at them one couldn¡¯t tell whether they were men or women as their whole body was covered by rusted armour that had no heads. He tried casting analyze magic but was only answered by symbols and letters which held no meaning to him. ¡°Divine aura, heavens blessing, increased mana,¡± the priests behind Todd started chanting after assuming that the headless armours were evil beings. The chant caused a pleasant feeling to envelope everyone as the magic chants had already started their effects. ¡°Flame arrow,¡± Todd chanted as he rushed towards the first armour. A flaming arrow flew towards the armour in front of Todd and landed a hit on its chest which caused it to stagger back and shortly behind was Todd who unleashed several sword strikes just where the arrow had landed. The armour stagged but when Todd unleashed another sword strike it parried and delivered a knee strike to Todd. Todd was now caught unaware and he changed his sword position to block the knee strike. This left his sides open and the armour tried to land a hit on his left side with its sword. ¡°Stone shield,¡± Todd chanted. This caused a lump of the earth to rise between him and the armour effectively blocking the sword strike. The sound of metal hitting stone assured Todd that its attack was blocked which caused him to relax for a second which was fatal. What followed after the block was a huge fire javelin heading towards Todd. ¡°Mana shie¡,¡± Todd tried to chant. However, his chant was too late and his shield of mana which was in the process of being created was pierced and destroyed with the aftermath sent him flying past the other soldiers. The javelin flame had destroyed his shield and also burnt his hands which left him with burnt hands. He tries holding his sword but his hand quickly let go of the sword due to the pain. The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. The human priests who were dressed in traditional white attire started chanting large-scale healing magic for their allies. But before they started Todd saw several flashes pass in front of him and he looked towards the priests he saw that three of the four priests had been shot by the arrows deep in their throats. The three priests fell and clutched their throats as they choked on a pool of their blood and as some were looking at the fourth priest for some sort of healing felt their bodies pierced by the second wave of arrows. This left their eyes staring into the void as if waiting for something to come for them. They had died without being of any use to the battle and had piled their responsibilities in the last priest who currently looked as if he wanted to run away from the battle. If he was killed the chance of managing even a draw will be lost. Thus, Todd had come up with a plan and shouted commands to the soldiers. ¡°Everyone barricades around the last priest,¡± shouted Todd. The soldiers escaped from their battle and formed a circular wall of swords between the priest and the enemy. The wall purpose was to ensure the priest was safe and also hold him in place to prevent his escape. ¡°Lillaid,¡± chanted Todd which gave him temporarily relief. The spell he had cast negated all his pain but at the cost of consuming a quarter of his vitality. When he checked his vitality, it was dangerously low and the fight had not yet reached its climax. This caused him to overcome by rage. Never had he gone to a fight and managed to be this battered. The enemy had so far countered his powerful moves and thus he decided to sacrifice all his vitality for power. He picked up his sword and started to prepare to use all his mana to cast magic. ¡°Greater mana shield, Life essence, Increased Fire damage and Elven essence,¡± Todd chanted as he rushed to face the enemy. While he was casting the spells, he felt his vitality and mana being drained at an alarming rate but none of that mattered if he won. He slashed at the armour being which responded by blocking the slash which caused Todd to unleash a barrage of fire attacks which met the armour and blew it further away from its companions who were currently in a stalemate with the soldiers. Todd didn¡¯t give it time to rest and followed up the fire magic with elven essence. This caused a large swarm of arrows to rain upon the armour who was now taking significant damage. When it tried to stand up Todd cast fire prison. The result was a prison built of fire which trapped the armour and exploded. Todd noticed that the armour movements had become significantly weaker than before and decided to move for the finish with one final blow using life essence. This magic engulfed his sword giving it a faint green glow and the spell also boosted his strength tenfold. HE caught the armour unaware and decided to slash it diagonally but was instead met my doom. The armour though not too intelligent had acted weak to draw out Todd¡¯s superior move. Due to Todd using all that magic his vitality and stamina were far below the average standards for soldiers. With one parry Todd felt a cold metallic breeze just near his neck and all of a sudden, his perception of the battle changed. He noticed that the battlefield was inverted. Just a minute ago everything seemed normal but how come everything is inverted he thought to himself. That was when he saw a familiar body holding a sword falling down and before he could process his situation the armour sliced his head vertically between his eyes whilst still in the air. The reason he didn¡¯t feel pain was that the spell Lillaid negated all his pain and thus a terrible doom met Todd whose name was to be forgotten in the history books. Once the other soldiers saw Todd¡¯s fate, they all began to falter in their hands. To them, Todd was what they aspired to be and the fact that an elite commander was gone reassured them their fate was to die here. This caused the soldiers to fight even harder as nobody wanted to accept their fate. They had childish beliefs that friends and hard work would rescue them. However, even hard work and friends give way to the pure raw power which was what they were experiencing. The armours had one function which was to thin out the strong and once that is done, they would sacrifice themselves to create mana explosions powered by their soul which would take care of the rest. So once Todd was no more, they did their work faithfully and did as they made to do. The grass field was then shortly lit by blue explosions which engulfed the whole plain and the soldiers didn¡¯t have the chance to screams as their existence was erased and left nothing behind for anyone to remember them by. That was their fate that night whether they accepted it willingly or not was not up to them but the shadow behind the screens. The explosion shook the whole area and the trembles reached the others who didn¡¯t know what had happened to their comrades. Currently, Atut was in a dark place and when she tried to use her goldy powers to figure out where she was nothing sensible and valid came by. She tried to feel the mana of the place but the mana was too chaotic that no matter what spell she cast nothing was produced. She tried to cast a simple fire spell but the spell was nullified before it even took place. That was when she heard the girl¡¯s voice behind her and this sent shivers to her very own core.
