《The Blank Omnitrix》 What in the hell? Scam of the century I wanted to die....Life wasn''t appealing to me anymore. Afterall I only had two more months to live. The chemo was taking a toll on me and the desperation was even worse. I love my life damnit!! Everything was going so well. I''d only finished my campus education in musicology and I was on the way to being a star just before I was diagnosed with cancer. Now after 2 years of fighting hard for a chance to live, I was done. My family would probably not understand...but at least they''ll go on with their lives. "That''s enough stalling....time to take the plunge." I said to myself as I stood on the edge of the top of an abandoned feris wheel. " I don''t even know how I got up here... he he he." This amusement park had been closed once the state had reclaimed the area surrounding it. So I was sure nobody would be here to stop me with a good dose of talk-no-jutsu. I stretched a foot in front of me and closed my eyes. "This is going to be soooo painful..." Then I jumped...and nothing happened. Just a bright light shining through my closed eyelids. The light disappeared just as fast as it came. I opened my eyes and saw a typical office room, with a fat guy sitting on the chair behind the desk. "Where''s the pain?" I asked," I thought that death was supposed to be painful." The fat guy raised an eyebrow and looked at me like I was an idiot. "That''s the first question you have? Not ''where I''m I?'' or the more popular ''who are you?'' then again mr. Wentworth, you are a different breed from the usual lot. Anyway, Let''s get this over with..." "Are you God?" I interrupted him amid his speech. "No, and I''ll appreciate it if you didn''t interrupt me whilst I''m speaking. Now where was I? oh yes, you died and your death was fast, you were struck by a meteor just before you hit the ground. That''s why you didn''t feel any pain and I have to say Mr Wentworth, I am very disappointed in you. You see you were supposed to be the motivation your younger brother needed to come up with the cure for cancer. But then you decided to fuck it up by taking your own life!" He finished by shouting and I was momentarily speechless. My emotions were all over the place... motivation needed?...for that little piece of shit Edward...the brother who was loved by the whole family for being perfect?...you gotta be kidding me... Edward was as far from perfect as the sun was from the Earth and he hated me for my talent in music...he would probably have used my death as a sob story to become famous...granted he was really really smart but fuck him! and fuck this guy too. "You''re telling me, I suffered all that pain just to be some motivation for a little shit that could have probably invented the cure for death in his sleep!!! Are you fucking with me... You and I both know I suffered for nothing!!" I shouted as my rage got the better of me. Suddenly I was flung to the wall and held there by some unseen force. The fat guys eyes had changed from their unassuming black color to a bright red. "Don''t take that tone with me boy... you''re nothing but an insignificant mortal and if it wasn''t for the rules, I''d throw you in a fiery pit and leave you there for eternity! Due to those same rules you were supposed to die in a certain way in a particular day and fashion and after you died, you would have been rewarded due to the positive karma you would have had. Fate doesn''t take kindly to those who ruin her plans, your soul would have been mine to do with as I please, if your suicide had been successful. but the meteor disrupted that, so now I have to compensate you...what a headache."Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author. After calming down, I reviewed his words carefully and my eyes shone. This was it...an Otaku''s wet dream. If I heard him correctly, I assumed I was going to get some OP wishes and travel the multiverse being a mega badass. The force holding me to the wall let me down gently and I instantly adopted a kissass attitude, "He he he, this sir. I apologise for my earlier attitude, the death and trauma got to me and I didn''t think about what I was saying at that particular moment. Someone of your grand stature deserves all the respect in the world. I had eyes and didn''t see mount Tai..." " Stop stop stop! Heavens that voice is so annoying. How can you change so fast?! just get on with your 3 wishes you shameless brat." "first, I want an Omnitrix with master control unlocked and access to all the aliens in the watch, whether ultimate or not. second, I want to travel the multiverse by hopping in and out of worlds whenever I want with no restrictions. third, I want complete control of my bodily functions, similar to that of Joshua Taylor from the webserial superpowereds." The fat guy who up until now still hadn''t introduced himself was briefly silent, just before a smile appeared on his fat face. "first penalty, all wishes will be 60% less effective for trying to take your own life. Second penalty all wishes will be 30% less effective for disrupting fate''s plan." Wait what?! " No, that''s not fair, you smug bastard!!! what right do you have.." " Every right as the overseer of this plane. Have a horrible life Mr. Chris Wentworth." He said that as I started fading away... (Place skip?) + (Time Skip) I groaned as I came to in a garbage bin. How did I know this? I could tell by the horrible smell. I looked at the surroundings and noticed that I was in a in an alleyway. first thing was to check on my wishes to see just how big of a penalty they had. My anger was still at an all time high but I was still excited. I looked at my wrist and found the iconic Omnitrix from the classical Ben 10. However there were some worrying changes. For starters, the dial glowed a dim green and the watch was a bit on the thin side, widthwise. The buttons were missing too. "Goddamnit! what did that guy do to my lovely watch!!!!?" I was hesitant to turn the dial because I had a foreboding feeling. I took a deep breath and turned it.......... nothing. I turned it again, nothing. And again, still nothing. It''s ....blank. it''s blank? it''s BLAANK!!!!! After raging and kicking the garbage bin alot I finally calmed down. No master control, no ultimate Ben and no aliens. The only thing I had left was the scanning function as well as something new called Cloak mode, which effectively integrated the Omnitrix with my DNA, making the watch on the wrist thing kind of point-less. I also tried my full body control powers and just like the watch, they were dumbed down so much, they were discount seimen kikan from One Piece. I had a feeling I could control my hair length, fasten my digestion and the best part make changes to my body though on a smaller scale. My cancer also seemed to be cured. I didn''t want to thank the bastard but I was still grateful. The only things left was to find out just where I was as well as try out my world hopping powers. On second thought I''ll leave the latter for later. Why? a newspaper had just hit my face with the image of a young Howard Stark on it. The date was 1944. Fuck, I was in Captain America. Whelps let''s get Stronkk. Camp Lehigh I was in Captain America the first avenger, honestly, my mind was torn between excitement and fear. Excitement because I could get the chance to see one of my favourite heroes. Fear because to talk to him, to talk to the captain, I had to join the war and I was as far from a soldier as anyone can be. I rubbed my Temple and looked at the newspaper in my hand. Turns out the captain had been active for a few months now. The date was January the 2nd. I had power but not enough to contend against Hydra. plus in the end things turned out well. If I got the chance to see Steve rogers, I would shake his hand and pat his back but for now, I was staying as far away from the army as possible. 2 days later I found myself in an enrollment station for the army. Turns out living conditions in the 1940s were hard to adjust to for a 21st century millennial like me, who would have guessed? there was of course another interesting thing that pushed me to joining the army. The first time I bumped into someone in the busy streets of New York City, where I found out I was, I had skin to skin contact with him when he tried to help me up. A green box display from what I assumed was the Omnitrix had appeared infront of me. [Detected human DNA. Unable to copy due to host DNA being similar.] That was about all it could do. I tried shouting, status, shop and many other gaming references but nothing worked. I was curious though if the Omnitrix could copy Captain Americas DNA. The army would provide me with a place to stay, food to eat and hopefully I''d get to meet with Captain America to see if my theory was correct. The sign up went along without any issues. I''d wizened up and changed my clothing to fit the time through some underhanded means. (stealing) The general recourse was that we''d get trained for 2 months before getting shipped off to the war, in Europe. I''d never paid attention to history class so I didn''t know which countries that war was getting fought on. "Hello, I''m Tony. Tony whaller." A guy, came and said to me while we were sitting in some benches outside. "I''m Chris Wentworth. What a day huh?" I said in a friendly manner. He sat down next to me and smiled. "Yeah, I especially liked the nurses, they were very fancy. I''m from L.A by the way. Had to join the war some time. My grandpa was in the first world war." I could tell he was very nervous and had probably approached me as I looked less intimidating than the others. I had a slight build, almost on the thin side and my height didn''t help matters. I was 6,2, with black eyes and hair. My face could considered handsome if you were into guys with sharp chins. I kinda looked like Timothee Chalamet. The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. After talking for a while, the enrollment was complete and we moved out. What I wasn''t expecting was to end up in Camp Lehigh, where Steve was trained. The camp was home to close to 200 recruits and the sleeping quarters were 10 dormitories each housing 20 people. My bunk was at the very end of the dormitory which provided me with a measure of privacy. I needed to get stronger if I was to survive the war. After everyone was settled in for the night I looked deep within myself and felt for my powers. The body control powers were like a string dancing in the wind, the Omnitrix felt like a deep well with no end in sight and the world hopping powers felt like clusters of stars stretching out into infinity. I instinctively knew how to control my powers, although the body control would need a lot more practice to build up precision. Getting ahold of it, I directed it to increase the effectiveness as well as the amount of the growth hormones in my body to facilitate muscle development and strengthen the bones, although at a lesser degree, too much would cause health problems to anyone else but I was lucky my powers were handling most of the grunt work. I also did the same to the calcium regulating hormones and stopped at that. I planned to make these minute changes over the course of the training program and hopefully by the end I would have a stronger body overall, at the cost of more food intake and some pain. A fair trade. I dreamt that night about my family and woke up crying the next morning. I hadn''t had time to properly adjust to all the changes that had happened so my mood was very low during the day. The others noticed this and Tony tried to cheer me up but after the exhausting drills everyone was too worn out to care about anyone else but themselves. That night I didn''t experiment with my power but instead opted to do some self reflection. I missed my parents and even my little brother Edward. I had been so preoccupied with ending my suffering I didn''t think of how my death would have affected them. With the powers I had now, I knew I could go back in the future. All I had to do was get powerful enough. With newfound resolve I fell asleep and mentally prepared myself for the grind. The rest of the week passed by in a flash and my body was looking slightly different from when I started. The little muscles I''d had were bigger and funnily enough my voice had changed slightly. It was deeper. This was probably due to increasing testerone in my body in conjunction with the growth hormone. At the start of the week, during exercise I used to lag behind and could not even do 10 pushups. But now I was at the middle of the pack. My endurance was more due to increasing the effectiveness of the slow twitch muscles and my short range speed was faster due to doing the same for the fast twitch muscles. I could do 20-30 pushups now. A week and a half later, I increased the volume of oxygen my lungs could take in and my stamina went through the roof. I was now one of the fastest recruits in the training camp and I could do 50 pushups on on hand. 100 and upwards on both. My progress was crazy and that attracted both bad and good attention. Training and Time Skip I was sitting in the mess Hall with a couple of friends I''d made. First off, was an African American named Pierce, an Indian guy called Suresh, 2 twins, one a guy and the other a girl, Andrew and Andrea, they were from Canada and of course my first friend Tony. We were a diverse group. Tony was the talkative one, Andrew was the Ladies man, Pierce being a huge Softie, Andrea the no-nonsense girl who wanted to prove that women could do anything, Suresh the quiet but deadly with a knife one and me the unpredictable one. Tony was telling us a story about how he''d got his ass kicked by his grandfather for trying to sell one of his grandfather''s pig in their farm. We were laughing at him, when something was thrown at my back. It was a chicken bone which bounced off me and left a smear of grease on my white tee-shirt. I got up amid a few scattered laughs. My table was silent but I could see that they were a little annoyed. It was 3 weeks into the training and by then I''d bulked up a bit and with my height, I looked more intimidating. "This again, Johnson?" I said to a big Caucasian male that was sitting at the table behind us. He had been a constant source of annoyance to me. I swear, everywhere you go, you''ll always find a bully. "What? couldn''t see it Captain America?" He sneered at me, while his friends laughed. Suresh took a knife and suddenly threw it at their table. They all scrambled away, shouting while looking at the knife that was stuck to the wall next to Johnson''s head. There was silence for a while before Johnson and his crew jumped at us. We of course didn''t back down. I blocked a fist that was coming at me and threw a punch, accurately hitting bully no.1 on the solar plexus. He went down wheezing as Andrew pushed me away from a kick that was coming at my middle section. Tony grabbed a tray and sent it straight at bully no 2''s face. By then Pierce was trading punches with Johnson who had prior experience to boxing. Huh, he wasn''t bad actually... I was taken from my thoughts when I felt Suresh getting thrown at me by bully no.3 who was bigger than even Pierce, standing at 6,5 and built like a truck. Andrea, however intercepted him and hit the guy on the balls. I could have sworn that we all felt his pain. The guy went down on his knees and Andrea delivered a kick which knocked him out. Andrew, unlike his sister was getting pummeled while Suresh was tangling with an Asian guy. Tony was hiding under the table and before I joined in to help. The sergeant came in with some soldiers and we were broken up. Johnson was raging by then, when he saw most of his team was down for the count. Andrea was alright and looked like she could go another round while Andrew was bleeding from his nose and Suresh from a cut on his cheek. Everyone else was ok though Pierce was breathing a little heavily. I felt bad because I didn''t do anything and put learning close quarter combat on my list. Enjoying the story? I felt like my muscles we''re made out of steel because even after all that, I wasn''t tired like the others. Johnson didn''t pick a fight with us again though he kept on sending us bad looks. It was the start of the 4 th week when I was called to the drill sergeant''s office. I saluted him and waited to be addressed, he looked at me curiously and smiled. "Recruit. You remind me of someone else who passed by here a year ago. His name was Barnes. He had a certain attitude that drew people to him. He was a fast learner too, just like you. But the two of you are different in one aspect. He was exceptional but he still remained within human standards but you... your growth is shocking. The others compare you to Captain America and I''m not sure they''re completely wrong." He finished and continued to stare at me. A few seconds passed and he took a deep breath and straightened up in his seat. "I''ve put your name forward for more hands on training in preparation for inclusion in a new task force called the howling commandos. This is all classified information and the only reason I proposed you, is because I believe you can do good out there. Get your things ready you''re getting shipped off to gilbratar in the morning." I was sad to go and my friends were the same, we promised to keep in touch and after I''d packed my things I got on a Jeep, which took me to an airplane going to Spain. In my past life I''d never been to Europe so I didn''t know what to expect. What I knew though was things were finally moving along. I was excited for the hands-on training because I felt that with my progress the only one who could keep up with me was the captain, so sooner or later I''d get to meet him. We soon arrived and I started my advanced training with more gusto. Let me tell you, the drills I''d had in Camp Lehigh were nothing compared to what they put us through there. I never stopped improving my body. When we started getting trained on firearms and field tactics I nudged my cerebrum by increasing it''s capabilities, so that my brain would retain information better. I also improved my motor cortex for better muscle memory. The improved muscle memory came into effect when learning unarmed combat. We were taught mixed martial arts and knife handling, when the option was all we were left with. Due to getting pushed so far and hard my progress was staggering. I could take on four recruits on my own and kick their ass without trying. My knife handling was superb and I was good with guns though I didn''t like using them too much. (Time skip- 2 months) General P.O.V The drill sergeant was looking out at the field watching as the trainees matched. The group had a few exceptional individuals though almost all of them paled next to the American Super soldier, who was making waves in the war efforts. There was one, however who was great in all aspects of killing. He hadn''t had a taste of war being a fresh recruit but after adjusting his mentality to taking a life, well, he would be a monster in the field. Best of all, he was set to join the other monster. 2 monsters together, that would be a nightmare to the nazis that''s for sure. After the war was over, he reasoned that there would be pressure on the USA to discharge the two of them. He just hoped there wouldn''t be another war ever again. He put his stamp on a document that had the name, Chris Wentworth. The training was a success. It was finally time to enter the fray. Chris POV I was ready. My body was ripped although I had a swimmers build rather than a bulky body-builder''s. Perfect for speed and endurance. I was a nightmare at unarmed combat, well a nightmare for a beginner that is. Overall I''d more than met the goals I had set for myself. I would be joining the war the next day. Success and First Mission There was a tightness in my chest as I looked at the body lying on the ground before me. This was not how I pictured any of this going. (Two Days Before) Peggy Carter P.O.V I was looking through a few documents, on the background of one prospective recruit set to join the Team. This Chris Wentworth figure was an enigma in and of itself. The war with Hydra being at an all time high, we were wary of including spys into our ranks. That would have been enough reason for my bosses to understand my wariness if it wasn''t for the fact that this kid would be a great asset. He had physical prowess at the level of the best soldiers, his weapon handling proficiency was as good as Barnes, his close quarter combat matched by only a few and his knife handling was his shining point. My bosses thought that with the Captain having a shield as his symbol, we needed a sword to complete the image. I could admit that it was a brilliant tactic to increase the troop''s morale. Even so, Private Wentworth was someone to keep an eye on. His reports showed that he didn''t have any original indentification that would hold up once someone with a Keen eye looked deeper into it. It''s like he dropped out of the sky. However, i understood the wise words of keeping an ally close and a foe even closer. I would adopt a wait and see approach. I had a knock on the door. Speaking of the devil, the young man, I had been thinking about was ushered in. He saluted and introduced himself. "Private Chris Wentworth reporting for duty ma''am!" I studied him for a bit and I was impressed by his charisma. Private Wentworth was tall, almost as tall as Steve. He had black hair and eyes that shone with determination. He was physically pleasing to the eyes and although he was not as physically imposing as Steve, his lean frame hid a lot of explosive power. Then again, why do I keep on comparing him to Steve? I shook my head and offered him a seat. "Private Wentworth, let me first welcome you to Italy. Your records are impressive, to say the least. I assume you were made aware of the special task force you are scheduled to join?" I said, trying to fish for information. It''s easier to know a person''s angle when you include them in the conversation. He relaxed a bit and smiled a little. " Yes ma''am. The drill sergeant informed me about the howling commandos. It''s a special unit that aims to eradicate Hydra''s influence in the world led by Captain America. The unit''s true purpose is unknown to the world, that information being classified." I nodded in understanding. "The drill sergeant is a friend of mine, he believes in you. I sure do hope he isn''t wrong. Find lieutenant Swolmer, he''ll lead you to the armory and to your bunk afterwards. In the morning you''re to report to Captain Steve Rogers. Dismissed." He solemnly got up, saluted and walked out, leaving me to my thoughts. Chris'' P.O.V Damn, that was intense I had just gotten from a meeting with Peggy Carter, the future director of the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Department (SHIELD), though at that time it was only known as the Strategic Scientific Reserve (S.S.R). I found lieutenant Swolmer, a quiet guy who you issued me with the standard army rifle and pistol from the armory. While I was in Gilbratar, I''d gotten 2 15 inch knives custom made for me. They were comfortable in my hands but being near to Howard Stark I was going to try and get him to make me better ones. I was showed to my bunk where I set my things up. Lieutenant Swolmer left afterwards but not after asking him where I would find my future unit. He told me that they were in thewar room discussing strategies and tactics because we had a mission the following day. I debated on whether I should join them or not. My exhaustion won out in the end and I settled in. Although I had a lot of stamina, I wanted to be fresh for tomorrow''s mission. In addition, there was a technique I still wanted to perfect. If I got it down, then even the Cap, would be hard-pressed to fight me. It was a bit risky but my power of full body control instinctively kept my body in optimal conditions, meaning if I did some changes that were directly detrimental to my well-being, it would automatically try to reverse the changes. This was perfect for maintaining a certain change at a particular level. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. That particular part of the ability was what enabled me not to overshoot the amount of growth hormones in my body. My body was now a weapon, all I needed was the Captain''s DNA and I would at least be considered a threat to the best human level combatants alive. I woke up the next day and cleaned up. I proceeded to the main war room after leaving the barrack which was empty at that time. I had wondered why there weren''t any occupants but I guessed that I was put there as a sort of temporary accommodation before I met the others, who were probably in other barracks. I knocked and waited for a while before going in. Everyone''s eyes were on me. They were 12 people inside the room from what I could see. My eyes froze upon seeing him however. He was decked in his iconic uniform with a shield on his back. His eyes were bright and he had a soft look on his face. He looked slightly less like Chris Evans, having a more chiseled jawline and bigger muscles. All in all, Captain America looked as impressive as I thought he would be. He smiled a little bit and I shook my head, remembering where I was. Peggy sighed in exasperation and showed me to a seat while Bucky and a few others chuckled at my awkwardness. I sat down and she continued talking. We were all seated around a big table, while at the front stood Peggy and Howard. I stopped looking around and started paying attention to her. " 4 bases taken out in Zagreb, Milan, Tirana and Munich. 2 were abandoned before we arrived at Belgrade. Intelligence shows that Hydra is getting smart. Last night we discussed attacking their bases in an unpredictable manner as opposed to the direct and more convenient line we have been following. Arnim Zola whereabouts have been spotted in Cannes. That''s where we''re hitting next. Any questions?" Bucky raised a hand and pointed at me. "Who''s the kid?" " I was just getting to that, any questions regarding the mission?" No one had a question so Howard cleared his throat "Just a reminder Captain. I need more samples of the energy Hydra is using to create their superweapons. Be sure to bring me some intact weapons and anything else interesting you might find." Steve nodded as Peggy took the stage once more. "Unlike Bucky who doesn''t pay attention, I assume the rest of you remember when I said we were receiving a new addition. His name is Private Chris Wentworth, proficient in firearms but specializes in knife handling and unarmed combat. He''s yours now Captain." Steve got up as Peggy and Howard gathered their things and left. The Captain was oozing Charisma and good vibes just by being near him. Everyone else quieted down and I could feel more than see just how much respect and loyalty they had for him. His voice had a smooth baritone that just pulled attention to him. " Welcome Private Wentworth. I''ve never been a great fan of formalities so call me Cap or Steve. We are all a family here after all. I''ll let the others introduce themselves." Starting from the left was Dum Dum Dugan, Falsworth, Morita, Dernier, Gabe, Pinkerton, Juniper, Sawyer and finally Bucky Barnes. They were a rowdy bunch and they reminded me of my friends back in Camp Lehigh. I wondered if I was going to see them again or not. After they introduced themselves I personally shook their hands one by one while mentally crossing my fingers once I got to Steve. Luckily he wasn''t wearing any gloves once I got to him. I shook his hand and after separating got the text box I had been waiting for. [Detecting D.N.A of a sub-species of human - enhanced. copied and saved in the Omnitrix. What do you want to do with it?] [ Option 1 - transform- change into a saved D.N.A. The transformation will only last 5 minutes. The host will retain 90% of the power displayed by the D.N.A owner. Upgrade the Omnitrix for full efficiency. - Option 2- Intergrate - all intergrated D.N.A will have a 20% decrease in power. Upgrade the Omnitrix for full efficiency. -Option 3 - Fuse - combine two compatible D.N.A into one. Eliminates weaknesses of each individual D.N.A but faces a 20% decrease in power. (LOCKED). Upgrade the Omnitrix to Unlock it. -Option 4 - Upgrade the Omnitrix to see it.] I almost had an orgasm at seeing my theory finally work. Once I saw the rest of the text box my anger came back in full effect, causing me to tighten the grip I had on the Captain''s hand. " Quite the grip you got there, Private. It seems that my expectations were not for nothing." He said in a friendly manner. I calmed myself down and smiled, letting go of his palm. "Thank you Captain. I am a big fan. I hope to learn a lot from you in the future." We talked a little more and I got to know them all more. They truly were good people. Falsworth made a few jokes at my expense due to my age but I took it all in good nature, although I had to force myself to be calm. I could still feel the anger boiling underneath it all. I didn''t even know what I was mad about. I should have expected that the fat guy, would still fuck with me even after all this time. This was leaving a bad taste on my mouth. Fuck this. If...no! When I get stronger I''m going to pay that fat guy ten times the pain and inconvenience he''s caused me. You know what, I''m getting tired of calling him fat guy let''s call him Random Omnipotent Douche (R.O.D). All I needed was time and I would kick that fucker''s ass. Other than seeing my family, that was my new second goal. I was informed we were moving out at 1500hrs. I wouldn''t have time to properly intergrate the super soldier serum because there wasn''t enough time to adjust to increased strength and speed. However it was a good thing actually. I needed to vent my frustrations a little bit. Alternate Events and Overdrive (Present) We were all in our full uniforms, with the standard army packs. I had my two long knives on a sheath strapped to my back and many throwing knives lining the inside of my jacket and other parts of my body. The anger had cooled off at least , to which I was thankful for. This would be my first fight and I didn''t want to be distracted. Even after learning all I had during the 3 months I had been here, I was still afraid that I would freeze up. The good news was that I was more than prepared to counter anything Hydra would throw at me. I remembered there weren''t any major casualties on the Howling commandos'' side up untill the train attack where Bucky falls. '' I can do this,'' I pumped myself up. The others were talking in a subdued manner with the occasional joke but I could see, they were more alert than anything. That just reminded me that all of them were war veterans and I was the only rookie around. Falsworth noticed my discomfort and tried to ease my worries. "What''s wrong boy, ready to shit your pants even before the bullets start flying?" He said while the others laughed. Dugan hit him on the back of his head lightly. "Don''t mind the man-child rookie, you''re rolling with us now. The Howling commandos got each other''s back." The rest, even Falsworth shouted in agreement. The Captain cleared his throat and we all turned to him. Gone was the easy-going guy I''d met the day before, the one standing before me was a soldier. "Cannes is different from the other bases we have hit before. If we bring it down, it''s going to be a big blow to Hydra and we can ride that wave, to hit them even harder. That said, I can''t help but feel that something is wrong, being careful about any traps goes double for everyone. Gabe stick with Wentworth and show him the ropes." Gabe Jones nodded and the Captain turned to me. "Private, I know this is your first fight with us. I won''t send you to direct combat before you get your feet wet. This does not mean, I don''t believe in your skills but combat needs a certain frame of mind. Stick with Gabe he knows what to do. Gentlemen, war brings out the worst in humanity but it also brings out the best in some. What we are doing right now, what we are aiming to accomplish, might not net us recognition or rewards but just know, because of you, a mother will not have to send her son to die, a daughter will not have wake up without her father and millions will not face Hydra''s cruelty on their mission to rule the world. Watch each others back." He finished and we were all left with our souls shining with the light of determination. This man...this man cannot be a fictional character. He feels...so strongly, his will is as unbreakable as his shield and all these...men, would follow him to death and beyond. I could see it. This was the reason why Captain America was the co-leader of the Avengers. His ability to inspire good in others was astounding. I took a deep breath and looked around at all of them. I couldn''t help but feel that I was right where I was meant to be. General P.O.V The howling commandos were dropped off 500 meters from the perimeter of a textile processing factory. This was of course a cover for Hydra. The textile making was on the first floor of the building while the secret Hydra facilities were located underneath the structure. The Intelligence the Howling commandos had gotten showed that the underground facilities opened up in a tunnel that lead to a cavern which opened up to a river. This was an emergency exit for when the base was attacked. Captain America separated the crew into 3 teams. One team, would do a frontal attack to pull attention to the front of the building while another would use the river to access the facility''s emergency exit in search of prisoners. The final team was composed of Gabe, Morita and Chris. They were to plant bombs all over the building by following the two main teams. After finalizing the plan, they moved out. Falsworth being the sniper, took out the sentrys patrolling the perimeter, while the second group led by Dugan broke off and proceeded to the river. Fortunately, Stark had outfitted them with top of the line uniform which has highly resistant to cold. Luckily for them, the water wasn''t deep near the banks of the river. There were 2 Hydra guards patrolling the cavern but, the both of them were too busy smoking. Dugan and the other two attacked them while Morita set the bombs. The bombs were detonater reliant and not timers. On the other front, Bucky had cut the wires on the fence surrounding the area and they all made it inside. Having taken the patrol out, they proceeded to the gate and took out another Hydra agent. Bucky and Falsworth got to the top of the gate keeper''s room. They quickly set up a bulky and futuristic gun that Stark had built from the samples of Hydra''s weapons they had previously acquired. The weapon glowed an ominous blue color and they aimed it at the front doors of the building, where Hydra agents were now pouring out. "Let it rip Bucky." The Captain said while Falsworth smiled. "Aye aye, Captain." A beam of blue light shot out and completely decimated the entrance door, taking many Hydra agents with it. The weapon died down and the blue glow dimmed considerably. Chris who was with Gabe, setting bombs on a few Hydra trucks was astonished at the destructive capabilities of the weapon. "Gabe, why do we need to set bombs when we have something like that!" He inquired while gaping. Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings."That weapon needs to recharge by changing its cell and we have a limited amount of that. That''s why we need to bring back more weapons to Stark. Now pay attention." The others proceeded to attack the Hydra agents with the Captain leading the charge. He threw his shield which hit one guy and bounced off to hit another on the head who released the grenade he was trying to throw on the ground. The grenade went off and blasted three more people back. Falsworth and Bucky were now following the Captain while shooting at the enemy. Gabe and Chris began following while still planting the charges. The building inside was full of machinery, which provided the enemy with cover. This was where Chris finally saw the Captain shine. He was using the environment to weave in out while dispatching the enemy off in an impressive feat of speed and agility. Chris felt his battle appetite ignite as he stroked the knives strapped to his back. Gabe hit him on the back and shook his head. "We have our job. Set these charges to the left and I''ll take the right." Chris nooded and begun doing it. A few minutes later they cleared the whole building and the Captain and others took the lift down to the underground section. By now, Hydra had already had enough time to mount an attack, so the resistance was much higher as compared to before. The whole structure was composed of 3 levels, excluding the main building. Dugan and his team were in the third level already, they had met up with a few scientists trying to escape and had promptly taken them down. The battle was heated at the first level but the Captain and the others managed to get the upper hand and defeat all of them. They moved on to the 2nd level which was when things got bad. Chris and Gabe who were now finished with the 1st level were just about to continue on when Chris raised his hand to stop him. "Wait, Gabe. There''s something in the air....we need to stop the others now!" Just as they begun to make their way down, a loud bang was heard from underneath them. When the lift opened up. Gabe stumbled off and fell down. There was a drug in the air messing with their senses. Chris had a stronger body as compared to baseline humans so he was still standing though he felt a little sluggish. He looked around and his eyes widened. Bucky and the others were sprawled out on the floor, with many Hydra agents dead from a grenade thrown at them. Only the Captain was still standing and he was in a fierce battle with a man dressed in a trenchcoat. Chris'' eyes widened further when he saw the sideburns on the man''s face as well as the claws on his hand. Chris P.O.V This was not supposed to happen! What was Victor Creed doing here! I''d thought that this world was purely MCU, but Victor Creed''s appearance showed that I had been wrong. Mutants existed in this world. I should have seen it. Captain America''s looks had been slightly different from the actor who played him in the MCU. I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts and the disorientation I was feeling. I weakly got down to one knee and looked deep within myself. I strengthened my white-bloodcells to combat the toxins in my body. I also slowed down my blood circulation and tweaked things in my airsacs to let only oxygen in my blood stream and leave out another substance. Luckily the toxin in the air was much thicker in composition as compared to oxygen. I still didn''t know where it was coming from. I increased my blood flow and took in deep breaths with my mind finally clearing enough. I saw the Captain on his knees too, with his shield on the floor next to him. Though he was a super soldier, the toxins had affected him too. Victor was just about to slash open his throat. However, I wasn''t going to let it happen. "NOO!" I shouted as I drew one of my throwing knives and accurately nailed it on the fucker''s shoulder. He jerked his hand back and grunted, looking at me with furious eyes. "Why you little bastard. I''m going to gut you." He said with a feral snarl. He dug out the knife and dropped it. His wound healed up in seconds flat and I knew then, that this was going to be a difficult fight. I steeled my eyes and stretched a little. Grabbing hold of the knives on my back, I unsheathed them and readied myself. "Let''s see you try." Victor snarled again and jumped at me, thankfully leaving the Captain alone. He started of with a slash which I blocked with my blade. His strength was enormous. At least enough to leave me stumbling backwards. He slashed at me again to which I evaded and attempted to break his knee by kicking it. It didn''t work. I almost lost my leg to his claws again. We tangled for a little while longer before I jumped back to take a breath. This guy was a monster. I was good at CQC but Victor had experience from years of fighting and if it wasn''t for his emphasis on fighting like an animal, I was sure he would slash me up to ribbons. Luckily, I was a cheater. I hadn''t wanted to use this technique but I had perfected it for when things got dire. I straightened up and faced him. He must have seen the change in my demeanor because a serious look appeared on his face. I breathed in and...increased my blood flow while reinforcing my muscles by tensing them. I took a deep breath and breathed out steam. This was a skill I''d seen in one of my favorite anime, One Piece. Luffy''s gear 2 worked on the same principle mine did. There were however some big differences. His version utilised his body''s energy and oxygen with the added risk of reduced lifespan. Mine on the other hand didn''t use my energy but the Omnitrix''s. How? I''d found out that with the Omnitrix intergrated within me, I could tap in into it''s nigh-infinite power and use it. However, I could only use it on a very limited scope. So far it was only when using this skill. I had also found out that the Omnitrix in conjunction with my Bio-kinesis(body control powers) had been the one responsible in getting rid of my Cancer. I now had even more reason to destroy ROD. The skill had it''s bad points as well as it''s good. I couldn''t use the Omnitrix to transform for the exact duration I''d kept the skill running. So if I used it for 5 minutes, the Omntrix would be locked for 5 minutes after the skill ended. The other disadvantage was that I couldn''t use it for more than 4 minutes. I could push it to 5 but my body couldn''t handle it, even with my Bio-kinesis. In my normal form I could lift only 500 pounds and run at 30mph. With this skill, I estimated I could lift 2 tons and my speed was 200 to 300 mph. It increased my power by ten times. The name of this skill was, Overdrive. I looked at Sabertooth and smiled. "Let''s get this show on the road." Heated Battle and The Sorcerer supreme My whole body felt hot. My adversary was warily watching me, although I could see a slight feral smile on his face. I gripped my knives tighter and zoomed forward. My speed was so fast, I had already planted a knife on Sabertooth''s neck before he had reacted. I dug it out and slashed both of my knives at his bleeding neck to decapitate him. In surprising reflexes he leaned back and evaded them. Although I was a little surprised he could react to me, I jumped and axe-kicked him on the head. He blocked with his fore arms but got pushed down to his knees. His neck had already started healing by now. Not wanting to give him any breathing space, I shouted and punched him hard on his solar plexus. 2 tons of force acting on such a small surface area as my fist, his chest caved in and he got thrown to the wall. My fist was in pain and I gritted my teeth. I reached into my jacket and started throwing my daggers at him. His coat got embedded to the wall and he was pinned there for a few seconds. I frantically looked around for the thing responsible for the Toxic gas that had affected the others. If I got rid of it, then with me and the Captain working together, we could kill Sabertooth. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I quickly back-flipped back. Right where I had been previously were Shurikens dotting the ground. I followed their trajectory and on the roof was a figure dressed in all black crouching on top of a hanging machinery. The figure jumped and fell down slowly, enveloped in a pinkish smoke. Judging by the smoke, I figured out I was dealing with another mutant. None of any of this made sense. What was Sabertooth doing working for Hydra? And who was this woman dressed like a ninja? I didn''t remember anyone like this in the comics or movies. "Sabertooth, I''m surprised you got taken down so easily." She said in a soft voice. I heard grunting and saw Sabertooth ripping off his coat from the wall. "Who said I got taken down? Stay out of this. It''s my fight!" Shouting this, he ripped his coat apart and underneath, he only had black trousers on and combat boots. Sabertooth was ripped. He had muscles that had muscles but the most terrifying thing was the malice in his eyes. He wanted to kill and he didn''t care if it was me or his ninja partner. I looked at the situation and quickly judged it. It came down to 2 things. Take down the ninja fast enough to get Captain America back on his feet and team up with him to take down Logan''s arch-nemesis. No more talking. knives started raining from my hand towards the ninja, who backed away and countered with Shurikens. She knew she wasn''t as fast as I was so she stuck behind Sabertooth who was trying to dismember me. I ducked what I couldn''t block and blocked what I couldn''t evade. The only thing that was helping me was my speed and reflexes which were better than both of my opponents. I got slashed a few times but I used my Bio-kinesis to stop the bleeding. Strength-wise, Sabertooth and I were evenly matched. we had been fighting for 2 minutes now and my body was starting to protest. I blocked a claw from taking an eye and twirled to his back. I stabbed his shoulder blade and slashed down. A little of his blood sprayed to my face and I got a text box from the Omnitrix. I dismissed it and kicked him on his back pushing him forward and almost breaking his hip joint. He flew and smashed through a few crates and equipment. He grunted in pain again and I was momentarily impressed by his pain resistance. I turned back and blocked a few Shurikens that were coming for my back. She was running out of them, I smiled and sped forward while she desperately backed away. ''You''re not going anywhere'' I aimed my kick at her head and she bent backwards, flipping out to plant a kick on my chin. This would have worked on anyone else but not me. I let it pass by me and countered with a punch aimed at her face. She tried to block but her wrist was broken. She hissed in pain and kicked at me, backing away again. I caught hold of her leg and forcefully twisted it eliciting another cry of pain from her. Slamming her down on the floor on her front she went silent, getting knocked out. I breathed a sigh of relief as pink gas started flowing out of everyone and into the ninja lying down on the floor. Just as i had suspected, the Toxic gas had been a part of her. The Captain and the others, started getting up, while I was tying the ninja up. I smiled and looked at him right before I felt an impact on my Temple. I groggily got up and saw what hit me. There was a tightness in my chest as I looked at the body lying on the ground before me. This was not how I pictured any of this going. Gabe was slashed up from his chest to his groin and blood was pouring out. I looked at his face and saw the agony there. He was coughing out blood and I knew then, he had saved me while I had been distracted. The Captain saw Gabe''s condition and he let out a cry as he viciously threw his shield and started shooting at Sabertooth who was laughing. Bucky and the others angrily started shooting at him too. Falsworth took out the futuristic gun and used the last cell we had. The gun started glowing, he aimed it at Victor and took the shot. (Victor POV) I hadn''t enjoyed myself quite like this in a while. When Schmidt, that cock-sucking pussy had sought out the hand for a mission while promising an alien technology that was far more advanced than anything else in the world. I''d taken it not because of how we would profit from the deal but because I wanted a fight from the Super soldier. The deal was to capture the Captain America and deliver him to Schmidt. Unfortunately, Tonic, a brat from another branch of the hand had ruined my plans by gassing out the Walking flag in her stupid gas. I was going to rip her apart just before he came.Stolen novel; please report. Dressed in a standard army uniform, but with two knives strapped to his back, he didn''t cut an impressive figure as the Super Soldier. Boy was I wrong. The kid was powerful. After the first clash, I could tell he was skilled but still inexperienced. Then he got serious. He started using his power and I felt a foreboding feeling. The kind of feeling I got when I faced a berserk Jimmy. I did see him move but I couldn''t react fast enough to stop his knife from stabbing my neck. From there it was a fast paced fight that ended with me slashing a fucker who was trying to block me from my prey. By then, Tonic had been taken out of the fight. The Super soldier and his merry band were already up and shooting at me but I was laughing because they weren''t doing anything. However my senses were suddenly telling me to escape but before I could do so, I saw a bright light and nothing else. (Chris P.O.V) After Falsworth blew up Sabertooth and me defeating the other mutant, Gabe died and a cold feeling settled inside me. I hadn''t known him for long but he had been a good man. I wasn''t as sad as the others or disappointed in myself like the Captain, what I was, was ashamed and guilty. If I hadn''t been too caught up in the moment, I could have stopped Victor. To make matters worse, I dropped out of Overdrive and fainted. The Captain mobilized the others and they took control of the base fully. Arnim Zola was not captured but they managed to save close to a dozen people who were getting experimented on. This was of course known to me after I had recovered. For the first few days everyone was in a slump. However, after a speech that the Captain made we all got better. The Captain had a talk with me, about where I had gotten my powers from and I had told him that I was a mutant. Stark was of course interested in mutants but I refused to get tested by him. Luckily, existence of mutants was information known by the upper echelon of the government, so I wasn''t that big of an enigma. It also helped that the Ninja we had captured was getting studied by Stark and other scientists. I didn''t know how to feel about that. I also saw that the Captain was not at all comfortable with the idea. The others were a bit wary of me and I felt more and more like an outsider. It was a week after the battle and I wanted to deal with something I had been putting off. I didn''t know what Schmidt, the Red-skull was planning so I needed more power. I chucked a bit, all of my problems seemed to have one solution and that was to get stronger. Things were already different from what I had seen and I didn''t want to be caught off guard again. It was night time and I was in my bunk. Everyone was already asleep and Dugan''s loud snores were they only thing I could hear. I willed for the Omnitrix to bring out the text box I had gotten in my fight with Sabertooth. [ D.N.A from a higher species of human acquired] -Option 1-Intergrate - if you intergrate this d.n.a, you will gain the x-gene and awaken it. The power acquired is random and relies on the user''s genetic make up. -Option 2- Fuse- Fuse this d.n.a with another compatible one. weaknesses removed from both d.n.a but faces a 20% decrease in ability. There were only two options unlike the time I had copied the Super soldier serum. I didn''t know what mutant ability I was going to get if I intergrated this d.n.a with mine. Some mutants got some pretty bad deals, like Rogue and Cyclops. They both had a mutant power that they could not fully control. Not to mention, the physical changes that might manifest. With my Bio-kinesis, I could hopefully handle the control issue and maybe lessen some of the physical changes that might happen. You see, power is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it gets. It was slow-going but my Bio-kinesis was getting stronger. I took a deep breath and prepared myself. Before intergrating the x-gene, I had to make my body stronger to handle the power. "Intergrate the Super soldier serum." Once I said that the Omntrix insignia, formed on my chest and pain, god-awful agony assaulted me. I quickly shut down my nerve endings and fell down on my bed, breathing in heavily. I could feel myself get stronger as my muscles grew bigger. Using Bio-kinesis, I condensed my body mass and made my muscle tissues denser. I could feel all that energy acting out and trying to make me bigger but I directed it to my bones next and after that my brain. Towards the end I let it roam free and my cells hungrily sucked it in. I was changing. I could feel it and hear it and see it. My eyes started seeing better in the darkness. It wasn''t night vision by any means but it was close and I could hear a branch smacking a window soflty over 200 meters away. I clenched my fist and felt the strength contained there. I would have to test my strength and speed again, once I got the chance. The process was over so I prepared myself for the next one. I reactivated my nerve endings and steeled myself. "Intergrate the x-gene." This time there was no pain. All I felt was something clicking. As if I had found a missing link. My body felt whole and I doubted whether all mutants felt like this when they activate their mutant gene. I patted my face and body but found no changes except the ones done by the super soldier serum. For starters, I was a little bit taller and my body a tiny bit bigger. All in all I felt almost the same as before. I looked deep within myself for my mutant power and found it. It looked like a bubble of myriad swirling colors. I nudged it and right before my eyes, a bubble of orange appeared infront of me. I willed for it to flatten and it did. I then changed it into a shield and it complied. I tried changing it into different forms but it got harder the complex the figures became. I nodded in acceptance and dismissed it. "Hmm, not bad, I guess." I''d wanted something like Sabertooth''s regeneration factor but I guess you can''t have it all. I was about to sleep when a portal with orange boundaries appeared below me and I fell through it. I flipped in the air and landed gracefully on the top of a building in a city. My agility was off the charts now as compared to before. That however wasn''t going to keep my attention for long because a figure dressed in yellow robes was standing before me, facing the front. She looked back at me and smiled. "Why don''t you join me, Mr Wentworth." Fate, I dont fux with that I calmly looked at the powerhouse infront of me. Honestly, she was kind of underwhelming. There was no presence to her. Her clothing was meh, her figure was meh and her face was meh. However, under all that guise of normality, her eyes held a mischievous light which told me that she portrayed the image she did intentionally. She smiled when she saw me realize it. I walked forward to stand next to her. "How does it feel, when someone underestimates you, then you utterly destroy them?" I asked her wryly. "Very satisfying ??. In my long life, I have come to realize that one should enjoy the little things." I nodded sagely to the wise words. "Normally, I like talking to someone over a nice cup of tea. I find that it calms the mind." She added. There was a brief silence as we watched the coming dawn. The sun was rising and I wondered just where we were. "You said normally. I assume this time it''s different?" I broke the silence. She ignored my query, "You don''t seem surprised by your situation." She said. I laughed a little bit and idly marveled at why I didn''t feel any cold, despite being in a t-shirt and light slacks. "I''m no stranger to strange things." I replied and looked at her with a small smile on my face. "Some would say, getting abducted from your bed by a glowing magical portal and finding yourself a continent away, with a stranger standing on the roof of a tall building beats it all, Mr. Wentworth." I had nothing to say to that so I laughed hard. She also had a smile on her face. "What can I say, Ancient one. My life is peculiar." She looked at me seriously, the humor gone from her eyes. "I have seen us having this conversation in 7 million different possibilities and never once do you tell me how you know of me. Every time you try, it comes out as gibberish. The being that sent you here must be powerful beyond measure. Not to mention the fact that fate itself has left it''s Mark on you." I turned to her and huffed in annoyance. "Trust me, his power is only matched by his doucheness." I saw her frown at that. "Mr. Wentworth, exercise caution when referring to cosmic entities, most take offense easily. Though of course, I don''t think you''re in any danger from them at all. It comes with bearing that mark." This caught my attention again. " What do you mean, by mark of fate? I take offense easily when it comes to destiny, fate and all that bullcrap too." She hesitated a bit before answering. "In all the futures I''ve seen, this conversation deteriorates quickly if I answer that question." I was now running out of patience now. I knew what the Sorcerer supreme was capable of and I doubted I could take her in a fight but goddamn, how much cryptic shit does she have to subject me to. She sighed and motioned me to be silent just before I could talk. "Your existence makes things better or worse in a more meaningful impact according to fate''s whim. In simpler terms, if a normal person is a pebble thrown in a pond, you''re like a big boulder thrown in the same pond. The splash and ripples made by the pebble might propel a drowning insect to the banks of the pond or might wash over it, causing it to drown. The impact is negligible on a grand scale. The fish won''t be affected at all. A big boulder on the other hand might cause a splash that will water the plants nearby or crush the fish in the pond or cause many other different unpredictable things. simply chaos. Someone bearing the mark of fate is Chaos incarnate." I was stunned, my mouth was open and I couldn''t come up with a coherent thought. The Ancient one however, wasn''t finished. She looked at me sadly and continued, "Any significant changes you make in a setting that was fated to happen, will have great consequences to the people around you. The consequences might be good or bad. Due to this, any cosmic entity will be wary of crossing paths with you, because they have broken it''s shackles on them, fate is especially vindictive." This time I didn''t hold back the anger. There was nothing to vent on except the AO and even in my rage-induced tantrum, I was not foolish enough to attack her. So I did the next best thing. A bright red light appeared around my fist and I punched the door leading to the rooftop. The door deformed around my fist, broke off its inches and hit the wall before falling down the stairs. I breathed in and out and slowed down my heart rate. Calmness started to come back to me again, as I vowed never to intergrate the Hulk''s d.n.a to myself. I was hot-tempered enough as it was. During all of this, she was still watching me expressionless. Make changes to a setting that was fated to happen? How does one even decipher something like that. If I stop someone from taking a shit that was fated to happen, does that mean, the world would implode on itself? "How...how, can I get rid of it?" I whispered. She shook her head and looked away. "I am sorry. You''re bound to your fate. You can try to put it off but you can never escape it." "There must be a way! I don''t buy that any actions I take are premeditated by someone else. You don''t know how helpless it feels knowing that your suffering is caused by some stupid nebulous thing such as fate. My choices are my own damnit!" I was breathing heavily by now. Was it all really meaningless? Was I subconsciously following a laid out plan that would have me ending up in a premeditated place, taking a premeditated action and falling for a premeditated someone? I had my goals and I believed that they were mine and mine alone, but was that really the case? Wait.... in my first life I was supposed to die of cancer so as to be my brother''s motivation. Essentially I had been a pawn but I smashed that shit plan to smithereens and died by my own means! (not technically but who''s sweating the small stuff huh?) So why was I doubting myself? Even if I was fate''s bitch if I got to the level of Cosmic entities, I would break it''s hold on me! So what the fuck was up with this clich¨¦ shit? Destiny? Fate? Chosen one? I don''t fucks with that!Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere. I coldly looked at the Ancient one. I had been ignoring one important question from the start. What did she want with me? "You abducted me for a reason, what do you want?" "I need you to leave. As a master of the mystic arts, my job is to protect the earth." I scoffed at that. "Protect the earth? There''s a fucking war, going on. Where are these masters of the mystic arts? You could stop this if you truly wanted. Oh, and I''m not going anywhere." "We guard the earth against the mystical side of reality as well as forces that could cause utter destruction to the planet. We do not interfere with man''s war. In addition, you know the future too, do you not? Do you believe a group of 10 men alone were all that was needed to take down Hydra? Don''t be naive. Our strength relies on anonymity, just because you don''t see us in the thick of it doesn''t mean we don''t help " She replied and fully turned to look at me. "You perhaps misunderstood me. It wasn''t a request. Leave this dimension before you derail things even further." I gritted my teeth at her statement. I could help more if I stayed a little while longer. Why is she so insistent on my departure? "You don''t understand, things are different! Hydra had help from mutants this time. In the original timeline this wasn''t supposed to happen...." I trailed off as it clicked. It was me, the reason why things were so different from canon was because I was marked by fate! Without my existence, Captain America would have fought with Hydra and eventually won. With me here, things were so derailed I wasn''t sure what would happen anymore. Gabe was dead and that was actually on me. Not to mention that this time, it was Sabertooth and an unknown mutant. Next time, who knew what kind of help Schmidt would enlist? It might even be an Omega level mutant! With such an uncertain future, the team needed me. Things would be hard for Steve, Bucky and the others if I wasn''t there. " It''s my fault things are so different and I get that. By chasing me away however, you''re making it worse. I need to be here." I implored her. Surely the Ancient one, being so wise would see the reason in my words. "No. We cannot afford to have you here any longer. The future changes more every second you''re still in this dimension." This bitch...I shifted to look around me. The placing of the buildings...the environment around me and the temperature...I was in New York, on the Sanctum building. I looked at her. "You planned for this. All of it. You were trying to ensure I would be somewhere where if by some miracle I succeeded to escape you, I would find myself surrounded by your Sorcerers." She smiled and glowing portals appeared all around us and sorcerers started stepping out. All in all, they were about 15 of them. "Correct in your assumption Mr. Wentworth. If we can''t force you to leave then for the sake of all life, you will have to give up yours." I stepped back warily but I knew I didn''t have anywhere to go to. They had completely surrounded me from all sides. I couldn''t afford to fight this many Masters of the mystic arts alone. That would be suicide. "Ok, Ancient one. I give up, I''ll leave this dimension." I raised up my hands and bit out. "I''m afraid that option is no longer on the table. You might come back and destabilize this world even more. By then, you might be too powerful to defeat. I''m opting for the more permanent solution." Oh fuck! why did I ever think this bald-headed bitch was a good person? I wasn''t given time to think properly as cracks started appearing in the world. The world broke and I found myself getting swung around by an eldritch rope. When did she...I didn''t even see her move. I crushed into a building opposite the New York Sanctum and found myself unable to move. I felt the pain briefly before I lessened it, I didn''t completely shut down my nerve endings though. The Ancient one started floating to me. I didn''t even know she could levitate! That was strange''s thing! She gestured and I was dragged up the building with my back on the wall. I had already used my barrier powers to cover my back so I wasn''t hurt. My shields negated any shockwave or force from transmitting through. I wonder....I tried to cover my fully body in a skintight barrier but my control was not that refined yet. I found myself in the air above the building and the force controlling me stopped and I started falling. "Motherfucker!" Desperately, I created a barrier underneath me akin to a flat flying carpet and controlled it to stop my fall. When did my life get so chaotic! Water started forming from the air into a big ball, tentacles exploded from it and shot towards me, I maneuvered around them all the while trying to find a way to escape her clutches. Getting tired of my nimbleness, ice spikes started getting shot at me. I formed a semi-circular shield before me and started blocking the shooting ice. I had lost sight of her which was a mistake judging by the kick she delivered to my back. The barrier I had placed there cracked and the kick passed through, sending me face first into a window. I crashed through it and landed in the room. I couldn''t run away because I was in the mirror dimension. The only way out was through her so I decided to fight her and activated Overdrive. Coupled with the super soldier serum I felt power flowing through my body, begging to be used. The Ancient one floated into the room calmly and looked at me. "It''s impressive you''ve held on for this long but it''s time to end this farce now." I grinned at her, "You still underestimate me Tilda." She rose an eyebrow and looked confusedly at me. I formed a small barrier behind the heel of my shoe and exploded in motion, with it boosting me forward. I cocked my hand back and threw a devastating punch. Bang! My fist collided not with flesh and bone but with a glowing magic circle. You''ve got to be kidding me! Even after catching her in surprise she still shielded herself? I can''t win this battle, I realized. Unlike my shields which negated force below a certain limit, her shields didn''t and she was thrown back and onto the ground. She controlled herself into safely landing but I had followed her closely and dropped a haymaker on her head. Before it could connect, eldritch ropes bound my legs and hands, pulling me back. The other sorcerers who I had thought were left behind in the real world, appeared each holding a rope. I strained and dragged them towards me as my strength in this form was overwhelming. Just before I could overpower them, the Ancient One jumped at me with an eldritch fan construct poised to decapitate me. I tried using my shields but something about these ropes was interfering with my mutant powers. I panicked and reached out for anything....the clusters of stars inside me answered and I found myself in hell. Instead of the devil however I was looking at the sexy back of Wonderwoman. Give Me a Break Man So yeah, Wonderwoman, wow. My brain short circuited for while as I processed the fact that I had jumped right behind one of the sexiest superheroes of all time. I was still watching her when she planted a boot on the side of my head. The impact threw me away and I slammed right onto a truck a hundred meters away. I lost consciousness for a few seconds and the only thing that saved me from a mega punch was an instinctual use of my shields. They of course broke and she smashed my face in, digging me deeper into the vehicle. My nose was bleeding and my brain was fuzzy. I tried to world jump again but the power didn''t respond. I tried to stem my bleeding with Bio-kinesis but I couldn''t focus hard enough. I had a laugh from behind the impressive form of Wonderwoman, who was now unsure of what she had done. "Yes Diana, destroy him. Humans are the disease plaguing this beautiful world. A pest that needs to be exterminated. From their ashes, a better world will be remade." She looked back at him, confusedly. "Ares? Then who is¡" Trailing off she stared at my body in mild horror. That assured me, she had attacked accidentally and not out of malice. I couldn''t handle an evil Diana, not after the whole clusterfuck with the Ancient One. Taking the chance, Ares used the debris to strike her away while she was distracted with me. I wanted to sleep and just forget about everything. I had just come from one battle straight into another one and my body was on the verge of totally shutting down. Wonderwoman could handle this, she was one of the best combatants in DC and that was not considering her divine powers. I started drifting off to unconsciousness again when a voice at the back of my head started whispering, ''things turned out different in Captain America because of me, what if something goes wrong and Ares wins?'' Effectively stops visible aging and comes with a long lifespan. I opened my eyes and saw the text-box infront of me as clear as day even though everything else was blurly. I couldn''t rest before this was over. With a monumental act of will, I wheezed out, "Intergrate the demigod d.n.a." My world exploded into light. (Diana''s P.O.V) I had known Ares had been behind it all. Unfortunately, the urgency in our situation had clouded my mind and made me pursue the wrong man. Ares had been hiding on our side. This just made me question the goodness in mankind even more. Were my sisters right? Was man''s world a place full of evil and treachery? Steve was the only one to show me that man could be saved. Even now despite how bad things had gotten, with Ares being more powerful than me, he was still fighting. A presence suddenly appeared behind me, cutting me off from my thoughts. I whirled around and planted my foot on Ares'' head, sending him to crash onto a truck, one of man''s strange inventions. Knowing i had to end this fight soon I jumped and punched him again. My fist went through a strange shield and hit him right on the face. Blood started flowing out and that was when realization came back to me. I turned back to stare at Ares, who was taunting me with a sneer on his face. I had attacked the wrong person, I thought in horror. Before I could do anything, Ares used his telekinesis to hit me with the debris lying around from our battle. I dug my feet on the tarmacked ground and blocked it all. I cleaved a long piece of metal in two, got a hold of one piece using the lasso and threw it to him. Ares smirked as he floated upwards, I huffed in annoyance and jumped up towards him. He used his telekinesis to send me back to the ground. It went on like this without me getting close to him. Back in themiscyra, I had not fought an opponent who could fly so I found it very annoying. I threw a crate at him and he returned the bombs that were in it back at me. Thinking quickly, I threw a gas container at the bombs and a big explosion happened throwing me back hard. I was disoriented and unsteady as Steve helped me up. I idly wondered what he had been doing during my fight with Ares. He started speaking to me but my ears were still ringing from my fall. All I could focus on was Ares'' whereabouts. Steve left his watch in my hands and run towards the plane looking at me with regret. Just then a bright light escaped from the truck I had punched the stranger through and something landed on the ground next to me. I saw the strange man, who was now shirtless and barefooted looking at me with hostility. "Did you have to hit me that hard princess?" Chris P.O.V My world exploded into light and all my wounds healed with visible speed. I extracted myself from the remains of the truck and breathed in. I had fallen out of Overdrive after Wonderwoman punched my face in and damn did she pack a punch. I looked at the scene happening a ways off from me and I was awed. Never had i seen anything like this before. Power was rolling off of Ares and the fact that Wonderwoman could go toe to toe with him without activating her divinity was impressive. Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. I knew I couldn''t help her as I was so I sat down, crossed my feet and looked deep within me. It was easier to meditate in this position and even though I knew it was dumb to do so in a war zone, I had no other choice. The text box from the Omnitrix had stated that I needed a spark of divinity to access a Demigod''s full powers. What was up with that? Maybe if I copy d.n.a from other Demigods, my watch could form a template of a divinity spark from many samples? Or did I just have to copy a god''s d.n.a? I mean Ares was close so that presented me with a great opportunity. That would have to wait however. My main concern was three things. One, checking to see if my body was all healed up, which fortunately it was. Two, to check how big an increase in ability the demigod d.n.a had given me. Individually with the 60% decrease and taking into account Wonderwoman''s supposed strength from the comics, I would have been able to lift 40 tons, jump really high and run at 200 mph at the very least. My ability being the cheat it was, stacked all the powers I gained on top of each other. It was only my second world and I was getting so powerful! I hadn''t had time to figure out how much of an increase the Super soldier serum had given me. Assuming the Captain could lift almost a ton and run at 60 to 80 mph, it wasn''t that big an increase. However, the Captain is known for his huge stamina and I could feel that in it''s uninjured state my body had endurance in spades. With Overdrive that increased my power by 10 times, I was looking at lifting 400 tons and a speed of 3000 mph. Due to my body''s increase in durability, I could keep Overdrive on for 10 minutes now. I smiled happily at those rough calculations. I could go toe to toe with the mcu hulk now. Though I was bit weaker in durability, I had a ''maybe'' solution for it. The third and final thing I had to do was looking at my x-gene. My anger during the talk with the Ancient One had caused me to activate another facet of my mutant ability. I remember the bright red light that had encased my fist when I had punched the door in rage. I had a feeling that my ability was not only about making shields and barriers but a lot more. I found the bubble with the swirling colors around me and coaxed it. A green glow surrounded my body and I felt minute tears that i had missed when my body had healed getting fixed, the feeling was great and i let out a sigh of contentment. The green faded as I tried to call out the red color. It didn''t work but the more I got frustrated the more it responded but refused to move. I remembered the rage I always had burning deep inside me and the red sprung up happily, ready to be used. I cooled off the anger and before the red could go away I kept a hold of it right underneath my skin. My body felt as hard as a diamond now. ''So, orange for defence, red for offence and green for support, What if I used them all at the same time?'' I thought. I had a feeling that wasn''t all there was to it however, I would need to experiment more. Without letting go of the red, I activated the other two colors and jumped straight up with barely any effort. I landed next to Wonderwoman and let go of green and orange, not wanting to exhaust myself. The red was influencing my thoughts a little bit and I was mad at her for hitting me. "Did you have to hit me that hard, Princess?" She jumped away from me and readied herself for a fight. I looked at Ares who was forming an armor out of the burning wreckage near him. "I''m here to help. We can settle our differences later." She shook her head. "Ares is too powerful for you. You''re not his match, especially now that he has started getting serious." I scoffed but didn''t blame her for underestimating me. "You don''t know what I can do Princess. Earlier you caught me by surprise that''s all." She remained indignant but nodded in acceptance. "Follow my lead." Without waiting for my confirmation, she blasted off towards Ares who was now encased in full body armor. "Let''s see what kind of God you really are." He said, throwing two gigantic swords at Wonderwoman. She blocked them but was pushed back. I activated Overdrive and zoomed past Diana. Ares wasn''t fast enough to react as I punched him on the belly. He was thrown high upwards and suspended himself up there. His armor was dented in the place I had hit him and he was coughing out blood. 400 tons is not a laughing matter. I jumped up to follow him but I was slammed back on the ground hard. His telekinesis got a hold of me again and he forced me through a warehouse that was housing explosives. They exploded around me but the effect was negligible with me encased in an orange bubble. I threw a punch and the shockwave blasted the wreckage infront of me away. Diana was engaging Ares in close combat and she was using her lasso to block his swords in an impressive display. He managed to punch her away and telekinetically ripped some tank tracks and encased her in them. I used my full speed and a sonic boom erupted behind me. To him, it looked as if I had teleported judging from the way his eyes widened comically. " For a god, not to mention of war, you''re pretty weak." I arrogantly said, smacking him across his face. A text box appeared on my vision but I ignored it. My new power was intoxicating and I had a primal urge to make Ares submit to me as his better. He spit on the ground and tried to skewer me with his swords but failed. "You will die for this, mongrel!" He shouted at me. I parried his blow and tried to sweep his feet. He floated up and pushed me away telekinetically. Manifesting a shield behind me and all around us, I started bouncing around, alternating from one to the other. I didn''t hold anything back as I rained kicks and punches on the god of war. Getting tired of the rough treatment, he spread his hands out and his divine power threw me away with the force of a truck. Bam! I found myself next to Diana who was watching something in the sky. She frantically looked at me and shouted. "Save him!" It only took a second to remember who she was talking about. Once I did I formed a flat construct under me and flew upwards fast. How could I forget about Steve''s sacrifice! I wasn''t a good guy by any stretch of the word but I wouldn''t look away when someone needed help. I urged myself to go even faster and the plane was just a few hundred meters away from me when it happened. When a bomb explodes the shockwave hits first. My shields could negate all shockwave below a certain limit, otherwise they just broke. My instincts screamed at me and I layered 7 shields around my body, which was my current limit. The first 4 broke and I was uncontrollably thrown back all the while shouting in surprise. The plane had exploded and the flames billowed out in a majestic form that one only sees in movies. I hit the ground and left a trail of ruined concrete behind me. I only had one shield fully intact, the rest having been cracked when I landed. A cry of gut-renching heartbreak escaped Diana''s mouth and I knew then, Ares was fucked. Ares dies and Chi balance I felt a twinge of regret for not being fast enough to save Steve. Although, the one indirectly responsible for his death was getting his ass handed to him by a furious goddess. Yes, Diana''s grief had caused her to activate her godly heritage. Ares tried to throw lightning at her, but, she absorbed it and sent it back to him multiplied. The god of war had a shocked look on his face as his chest was destroyed by his own attack. I didn''t want to stick around anymore, hoping to avoid getting lassoed and spilling out my secrets. I created my trusty construct under me and zoomed up. Luckily the clouds provided me enough cover to slip away. I was dead tired mentally. It was 1918, so I knew the living conditions would be even worse as compared to my previous world. I didn''t want to stick around so I tried world jumping again but the power refused to obey. My face turned gloomy and I tried to world jump again, this time nudging it more forcefully. A flash of pain went through my brain and the construct behind me broke. The pain went away just as fast as it came and i created another construct. I sighed in resignation, Turns out at 10%, my world jump needed to recharge for a bit. I directed my construct to fly even faster, wary of Wonderwoman pursuing me, wanting to know who I was. I flew for close to 5 hours before I landed in what I came to know as England. Luckily by that time in history, there were no radars to detect my flight. I landed on a farm, which contained a normal looking Victorian house. I looked down at myself, shirtless, barefooted and wearing a ripped trouser that had seen better days. First thing to do is get some clothes. I decided on not knocking on the door and instead ''borrowed'' some clothes hanging on the line. Being close to the wee hours of the morning, the clothes were a bit damp and tight. The pants were high waist and luckily baggy but short. I also lucked upon a shirt, cravat and a black coat but no shoes. I gave a small thanks to the unknowing lenders and supersped out of there. To prevent the clothes from tearing and wearing I reinforced them with red but kept it''s color dim enough to avoid notice. I didn''t break the sound barrier but my speed was fast enough that all anyone would see was a blur. Being just close to dawn, there was little chance of anyone spotting me at all. I entered London and stopped in an alleyway, I needed shoes and the only way I knew how to get them was stealing from criminals. Every city in the world has to have a slum, the place where poor people are oppressed and segregated so as to not be seen near the rich. Bearing in my mind that that was where crime lords usually create their hq, I used my super hearing, which was now off the charts to listen in. I heard a few shady deals going on in a nondescript building, so I snuck in again, knocked everyone out by using love taps, stole some guys clothes who was close to my size, got all their money and snuck out again. I wasn''t feeling sorry for them because these guys bought Asian girls as slaves and forced them into their brothels. I knew it wasn''t my problem but being from the modern world where slavery was something of the past, or hidden away so much it was hard to find, I felt bad and wanted to go rescue them all. I knew it wouldn''t solve anything however. So I went to a station and left the police information about it. How? by tying the crime boss up and delivering him at the door of the building, with a piece of paper showing the directions to their hideout as well as other info. I used the money I had gotten to find a hotel, rent a room for a week and promptly fell asleep. I slept for 10 hours and woke up feeling very refreshed. The food at the hotel was not that good and adding my increased senses into the mix it was easy dislike it. Wonderwoman had little motivation to look for me, considering the fact that she was probably mourning the death of her love. So I allowed myself to let the guard down. I decided to settle down in London for a while, enjoying the peace and quiet before traveling the world waiting for my world jump to recharge. I went over what I had seen and during Wonderwoman''s and Ares final confrontation, with the former activating her divinity, I knew that her power dwarfed mine entirely now. I needed an edge. Wonderwoman had the ability to lift over 100 plus tons and her speed was over 7000 mph. With her divinity, I''m guessing that her physical prowess was raised even further, the boosts I''d gained from her were only 40% of her former power level, she would thrash me like a baby now. What I needed was to learn how to control the abilities I had and horne them. With a strong enough barrier, I could block all her attacks. Not to mention, I had only discovered 3 colors from my mutant ability. I guessed that there were more colors, I could unlock. There was also the thing about upgrading the Omnitrix. Something was telling me, I needed to upgrade it soon or something would happen. I didn''t know how to describe the feeling as it wasn''t something dangerous or beneficial, it just felt as if the watch was about to hit a block or something. A month later, the war ended and I started planning my journey to see the world. This month I had not been idle, I had hit a lot of criminal empires in the city and most of them were behind bars. The brave ones tried to make a trap for me, but I still managed to defeat them all. I had also maimed a dozen of them, who were completely irredeemable. Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon. On the side of my powers, I had kept on using my Bio-kinesis to keep my body in a constant state of tension then healing it using the green, all the while increasing the growth hormones. I condensed the mass of my muscles, making them even stronger. I had been working on the concept of Overdrive times two but even with the Demigod physiology, it was slow-going. I tried to access more colors but failed so I concentrated on the 3 I had. I learned that I had been using the red in a very crude manner. Turns out that the red was the ability to enhance. I had previously only been enhancing my body''s toughness. After learning of this, I developed a way to enhance my other functions like speed, strength and my five senses. It worked but I could only keep one enhancement active. Forcing the issue, I tried to use the full body enhancement in conjunction with Overdrive and passed out. My body was still not strong enough to support that kind of power. The green was pretty straight forward in it''s utilisation. It healed my body. Nothing else. It didn''t work on anyone else and when I tried to force it out, wisps of green smoke escaped my body and left me feeling weak. My Orange constructs grew in power and versatility as I kept on practicing day in and day out. I had to exhaust myself mentally so that I could have a good sleep at night. I enjoyed myself immensely the month I had been there testing out my powers and beating criminals but when it came time to leave, I boarded a ship that was going to Asia. My first impression of Asia was that the air was fresher than Europe. The environment itself was completely different from what I had been used to. I had stayed on a ship for a month by then and missed the land. My travels took me all around the Japanese islands, learning their customs although even with my increased intelligence the language was tough to learn. 3 months later, I found myself in China, specifically a small Shaolin Temple in the mountains. Instead of the hostility I had dealt with while journeying through the land, they welcomed me and made me feel at home. The Grand Master was an old man, who had a kind and accomodating smile. One night, when he had invited me to have tea with me, he looked at me and said something surprising. "Your chi is out of balance my young friend." I was confused for a bit and inquired on what he meant. "Your anger and hatred burns deep inside you, growing ever big and powerful, only to explode one day and consume you in darkness." Whoa was he saying I would go all Anakin on the world? "What can I do to stop that from happening Grand Master." He sipped his tea calmly and looked at me with wizened eyes. "Anger is an emotion like any other. Hatred however is a negative dedication to something or someone, just like love is it''s positive aspect. Do not confuse them as opposites however. Hatred is chaotic in it''s nature hence causes an imbalance in your inner self." He stopped and saw me paying very close attention to him and continued. "I won''t tell you to stop hating but I will tell you to stop letting that hate consume you. How? By separating your anger from your hate. Hate when you find the perfect opportunity to strike at that which you hate, don''t bury it deep all the time together with your anger." I was momentarily stunned. I didn''t get all of that but what I did was, hate bad, separate anger from it and don''t let it¡ugh! What does that even mean? As if sensing my frustration, the Grand Master smiled. "Join me tomorrow for practice, we''ll explore the enigma of life through meditation." I nodded absentmindedly as I was still thinking on his words and went to sleep. From the next day onwards, the Grand Master led me through meditation and calming exercises that made me get in touch with myself even more. I managed to find the connection I had lost and even started writing music again. Of course I didn''t show it to anyone as they probably wouldn''t understand it but the point is, I had been so caught up in my hatred and anger that it had clouded some of my judgement. I resolved not to use the red until I had gotten my chi back in balance again. Due to all these practices as well as the calming environment, I unlocked the blue. The blue enabled me to feel other''s emotions. So basically it made me an empath. The blue also helped me in learning how to use my chi. It didn''t make me more powerful or anything, but it made my mind and emotions clearer. I had a feeling that my anger wouldn''t distract me in a battle anymore and illusion attacks were less effective on me now. My world jump had already recharged by then but I wanted to do something before I left this universe. It was time to speak to Diana. I left Asia behind and flew towards the coast of North America in the Atlantic ocean. Thanks to my powers, most specifically the blue, I was able to see past it''s cloaking and found myself in a paradise. The air was the freshest I had ever breathed in, even fresher than Asia and I took a second suspended up in the air on my hover construct, just breathing it in. Due to my great eye-sight, I could see naked hotties swimming in a river under a waterfall. There was also a large arena located in a city that looked slightly Romanian. I blocked an arrow that was coming for my head with a shield. A hundred more arrows were shot at me and I was impressed by their skill. You have to understand I was hovering 500 meters up in the air, the strength and ability needed to do so with such accuracy was phenomenal. A horn sounded and Amazon warriors started showing up armed to the teeth. Not wanting to keep my hosts waiting I flew down and harmlessly raised my hands. The Amazons looked ready to attack but instead made way for a beautiful woman wearing a crown. I smiled and bowed a little. "Your beauty is truly astounding Queen Hippolyta." She frowned her regal features and said with barely concealed distaste, "You''re that man, my daughter was talking about. The stranger that went toe to toe with Ares and survived. What do you seek coming here?" I straightened out and my smile grew wide, there was little chance if any of this going bad. After all, world jump was fully recharged now. I could escape if things got dire. I just really really wanted to spar with Wonderwoman and repay her for the beating she gave me. Some might say it was petty of me, but my choices were my own to make and I didn''t care what anyone thought of me. "Nothing much, I was just wondering where your daughter is...she and I have some unfinished business." Hancock and Poking a Sleeping Lion The Amazons instantly shifted into more aggressive stance. Swords and Spears were pointed at me. "Whoa, calm down. I mean no harm." They only lowered their weapons when their queen gestured. Man these Amazons are wound up tight. "My daughter is not here. Leave or face the wrath of the Amazon warriors." She said sternly. I doubt anyone other than Diana could take me and Queen Hippolyta must have felt that way too. In the past my brashness might have caused me to tempt fate and fight them, but I was wiser now than before. "Queen Hippolyta, I shall take my leave as you requested but if I may ask, where can I find her?" I calmly inquired. An Amazon who resembled Hippolyta got fed up with me and stepped forward haughtily. "Are you ears deaf? Themyscira is a land that should not be dirtied by the likes of you." I rose an eyebrow at that, "And you are?" "Antiope, general of the Themysciran army." I decided to be a little bit petty. "Never heard of you." Antiope looked at me with fury in her eyes ready to lunge at me. "Antiope, that''s enough." The queen said. "Surely you jest my queen, this man infiltrated the island uninvited. He should be punished." The Queen shook her head and Antiope stepped back. "My daughter is in a quest given by Lord Zeus himself." My eyes widened at that. "The gods? I thought Ares got rid of all of them." She looked at me and sighed. "I had hoped so too. Ares had used his essence to kill their Avatars in the mortal plane and then prevented their escape from Olympus. A god cannot die when their throne of power remains unbroken. With Ares''s Avatar dead, the seal broke partially and so the gods communicated with us." I had been wondering what kind of change my being here would cause and it seems like I''d finally gotten the answer. The gods came back. I didn''t know what was in store in the future for the Justice league. With the gods here I didn''t want to stick around anymore. Luckily I had already said my goodbyes to the Grand Master and the others back in Asia. The plan was to go to the Ben 10 universe. The only place I could get an idea on how to Upgrade my Omnitrix. When I''d looked at the text box, the watch had displayed from my encounter with Ares, nothing had shown. The only thing left was to Upgrade the watch for better efficiency. Another worrying matter was that the watch felt¡''full'', for the lack of a better word. It seems it had a limit on how many d.n.a it could save and copy. I didn''t understand it, because every time I meditated the watch felt like a bottomless pit. Almost every question hinged on whether I could upgrade it or not. I looked up to see the Amazons still staring at me with hostility. Sheesh, cut it out already. "Queen Hippolyta, I''m afraid I''ll have to cut this meeting short. Tell your daughter I''ll see her in a century." Without waiting for her response, I world jumped, my intent aimed at Ben 10 universe or any of it''s alternates. I briefly materialized infront of the iconic rust-bucket before I felt something grab me and found myself hurtling down from the sky and straight through a skyscraper. I smashed through the glass window and found myself in an office where a boss was deep in his secretary''s legs, on a table. We all stared at each other for a second before the secretary, who I could tell was gorgeous screamed loud enough to burst my eardrums. They scrambled to get off the table and ran out the door. Rubbing my head I slipped on the comfortable chair and sighed. Someone, most probably ROD, didn''t want me to go to Ben 10. This meant that they didn''t want me to upgrade the watch. The original Omnitrix was so overpowered, it wasn''t even funny. If I got that power with my ability to traverse the multiverse then few would stand up to me. Was this payback for my blatant disrespect? To be fair though, I had had every right to lash out. looking at it from his perspective however, I was someone who had ruined his plans. This new development put a block in many of my own plans. So what to do? I tapped the table absentmindedly before I remembered what had been happening on it and stopped. I was fully immersed in my thoughts, when a fast moving object landed on the office floor infront of me. The dust cleared and I saw a homeless looking Will Smith, who reeked of sweat and alcohol stare at me. "So I heard something, thought it was a bomb, turns out it''s a dick." Did he just¡insult me. Hancock took a swig of his bottle looked at me again. "Are you deaf or something?" I frowned at him. This guy was a massive asshole. He was like if Superman, took a different road in life, never met Lois and was an alcoholic to boot. "Asshole." I muttered. He whirled to look at me with a chilly gaze. "Say that again. I dare you." He said, beer now forgotten. "You call me a dick, I call you an Asshole." Later on I would look back at this time and berate myself for my stupidity. The only thing I knew next was that up was down and down was up. What saved me was the red I always kept underneath my skin enhancing my durability. A moment later I was bouncing on top of the water in complete disorientation. What had just happened? I asked myself when I got control of my body again. I formed a construct under me and hovered on top of the freaking ocean! I looked and saw the beach a hundred meters away from where I was.A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. Half a second later, Hancock appeared infront of me. A sonic boom followed him soon after. He observed me with a little surprise and took a swig from his bottle again. "You''re tough but not tougher than me." He said while nodding to himself. I waved the text box in my vision away and looked at him unbelievingly, "Are you telling me, you threw me away, without knowing I could survive! Not cool man!" "You called me an Asshole!" He tried to defend himself. Oh I wasn''t going to let this go however. "Everyone calls you an Asshole. I don''t see you throwing people up everytime." "Today was a bad day for me, okay. Besides you survived. Just¡sleep it off or¡whatever." He turned to leave. Oh no, you don''t you piece of shit. I slipped into Overdrive and red-enhanced my speed. Like a ghost I appeared infront of him and punched him away. He shot off towards the ocean and I was left nursing a bruised fist. Damn this dude is tough. That felt like how a human would feel punching a boulder! Hancock floated out of the Ocean, his clothes soaked and with a sour expression. Holding back my laughter I said, "We''re even now. The name''s Chris." He looked like he was gonna push the issue but turned back and flew away, leaving me with one word. "Hancock." I shook my head at his weird behavior and followed. Once I made it to the beach, I was surrounded by reporters who had swarmed the area. "Are you related to Hancock in any way?" "Mister, what is your stand on the property damage caused by the Superhero Hancock?" "What is your name?" "How old are you?" "Is Hancock your lover?" "What! no!" I protested vehemently at that last one, as I motioned them to stop talking. I could see army vehicles pulling up on the road and soldiers streaming out. For now however they were watching. "My name is Chris Wentworth, 22 years old, born in America though not this one." I stopped for a bit of effect and saw them open their eyes widely. Why I''m I telling them all this? "I am not related to Hancock in any way. in fact I just met the guy today after crashing through a building on my rocky arrival. i can''t comment on any property damage caused by Hancock because as I said, I just arrived. I am not here as a prelude to an invasion, so people of earth you don''t have to worry. I know some of you are skeptical and will probably try to scheme against me. Don''t bother, I am powerful enough to punch a hole through the moon and break it in half. I repeat, Do. Not. Try. To. Scheme. Against. Me. That is all I have to say." I created 2 constructs on the base of my foot, inside my shoe and combined with my perfect steadiness, hovered above them and flew, Black Adam style, towards the army vehicles. A senior officer stepped up to me and introduced himself, "I am major Xavier. I need you to come with me son." I shook hands with him and smiled. "The name is Chris Wentworth major. I have a deep respect for the army seeing as I served back in my earth." He relaxed a little and returned my smile. "Then you understand, why I need you to accompany me." I nodded as we went into the Jeep. "The boys at the top, are wary of me and want to know my intentions towards the USA. As I told the reporters Major, I am not one to seek trouble." We settled in and the Jeep pulled out. 2 hours later, we arrived at an army base. The major and I alighted and he escorted me to an elevator. The elevator went down and opened up to an underground facility. The major further proceeded to guide me to a meeting room with a retinue of guards we had picked up on the way here. The major and I alighted once we arrived and he led me straight towards the elevator. We went down and the major led me directly to a meeting room, followed by a retinue of guards that we had picked up along the way. The doors opened up and instead of a general, the president or other senior members of the government, there were only two people inside. The first one was a beautiful lady who had hazel eyes and a body to die for. She was furiously typing on her laptop and didn''t pay me any mind. The second one was a Mel Gibson look-alike who had a cigar between his fingers. I was still surprised when the major saluted him and left. He turned to look at me with a curious glint in eyes. He offered me a seat and I took it. "Nice to meet you Mr.Wentworth, my name is Marcus Hughes and this is my assistant Hana. I head a division of the government, that deals with supernatural occurrences. Hancock is one of the many cases we have dealt with." I perked up at that. "One of many?" He nodded and gestured with the cigar. "The world we live in is full of wonder and mystery Chris, can I call you Chris?" I allowed it and he went on, " You after all are a perfect example of what I''m saying. You claim, you come from a different earth right?" I frowned. Claimed? "Yes, although there are some differences." " Oh yeah? like what?" "Well, for starters we don''t have a Hancock lying around." He laughed hard at that joke... though I could tell it was forced...no what I''m I talking about? Mr. Hughes laughed because he thought my joke was truly funny. Infact, Mr. Hughes is a very good man. He has done so much for his country. I should emulate the sacrifices he has made for his country. I should serve my country. SERVICE FOR MY COUNTRY. FOR MY...STOOOP! I channeled the blue hard and my head finally cleared up from it''s hazy process. My shield was surrounding me, blocking the bullets that were being shot at me by Marcus. Then it all clicked, revealing my identity and background to the reporters, intentionally picking a fight with Hancock, my submissive attitude to the army... Something or someone had been controlling me. Without the blue, I could have fallen prey to their machinations and become a pawn. The prime suspect for my attempted brain-wash was the woman, who was taking cover as Marcus continued emptying his bullets on my shield. I looked at his eyes and saw that they were unfocused, I sent him to the wall with a construct and looked at the lady that was now cowering infront of me. "The jig is up, I know you''re the one who''s in charge here. You tried to control me. I want to know why. Why would you poke a sleeping lion!?" She widened her eyes at my shout but then composed herself. Right before my eyes her whole demeanor changed. She got up, straightened out her clothes and put on a beautiful smile. "How perceptive of you Mr. Wentworth, I''m impressed. Why don''t we try this again?" The True God-killers part 1 (Hana P.O.V) Well things just went to the shitter. The plan had been flawless. Its execution perfect up until the subject managed to overcome my psychic power. I and most of the level 3 superpowereds had felt a high discharge of Creaton particles, the matter responsible for giving all enhanced individuals powers, when he had arrived. Due to his unknown moral code, the high council, responsible for the protection of the whole world, had gone for a soft indoctrination. This was where I had come in. Not wanting to mess it up, the duty had fallen to my shoulders and I had given subtle commands to his mind. My ability was called the ''psyche code''. Using a laptop or some other sufficiently advanced technology, I could imprint suggestions to any subject, depending on whether I had a picture of them and if they didn''t have strong mental barriers. The subject''s mental prowess had increased dramatically and as he stood in front of me, i knew then it was time for the hard approach. "How perceptive of you, Mr. Wentworth. I''m impressed. Why don''t we try this again?" I said as I connected my mind with the three level 3 agents in the facility. I knew that the soldiers streaming in would not be able to hold him back. True to my thoughts, he created a shield as they started shooting not unlike Marcus. I spared a glance at Marcus who was my puppet leader of the division and gave the signal to teleport him and I. The matter was out of my hands now. I just hoped the 3 would succeed where I had failed. Otherwise, if we had miscalculated on his threat level, we would have another case like ''that one'' on our hands again. (Chris P.O.V) The soldiers aimed their guns at me and started firing. No warning, or giving me the chance to stand down. I absentmindedly created a shield before turning my attention to Hana. The Bitch looked at me triumphantly and grinned before disappearing together with the Marcus guy. ''So, you wanna play it like that? Ok.'' I could now extend my constructs 50 meters away from my body. I suddenly enlarged my shield and slammed all the soldiers onto the wall. I let go of the shield and they all fell down groaning in pain. Some of them were even knocked out. I proceeded the door, opened it and ducked a sword that was aimed at my head. My reaction speed was increased by the red as well as my other senses. The assailant tried to stab at me again but I stepped to the side and kicked out. My kick went through nothing and although I was a little surprised, ''a teleporter'' I thought.I took it all in stride and blocked the sword coming at my back with a well timed shield. I was quickly alternating between the blue and red because I was wary of another mental attack. The opponent''s weapon bounced of my shield and he spun around threw to smoke bombs to the ground. I almost laughed at his efforts but remembered that they didn''t know, toxic gas didn''t work on me anymore. I jumped up when I felt something coming at me from the ground. A spike of yellow crystal emerged from where I had been. It reformed into a man that was dressed in yellow overalls with a pair of Googles and numerous tattoos on his body. He stared at me, while I was standing on a construct up in the air. I cocked my head to the side and asked him, "And What are you supposed to be? I get that the teleporter is a ninja and the lady is a psychic power holder. But what about you? Lemme guess your superhero name is the impaler right?" Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on the original website.I laughed when he shouted out in anger and tried to impale me with the spikes he was shooting out of his hands. Whoa, his power is actually pretty strong. Dodging it however was a cake walk. At least that''s what I thought before I felt vertigo. The walls of the facility were shrinking, twisting and enlarging simultaneously which made me feel like throwing up. ''What is this?'' some kind of space ability? The teleporting ninja however broke that notion when I saw him appear right infront of me. I wasn''t an expert in physics but I''m sure in fiction one couldn''t teleport in unstable space. So that rules out the ability being space related. A good dose of blue fixed me up real quick. I re-materializedthe shield and blocked his sword again. The fight went on like this with the Ninja trying to hit me with cheap shots, the Impaler constantly shooting spikes at me and the vertigo guy had finally noticed his power wasn''t working so he was shooting at me from the side. I wasn''t even using 70 % of my abilities so the fight was getting boring. Deciding to end it, I materialized a hand construct and wrapped up the Impaler in it, Locked the Vertigo inducing fella with chains and when the Ninja appeared infront of me, I used my speed to catch him. He tried to break free but after seeing my strength was greater than his, he teleported, taking us all with him. We appeared in a stadium where a soccer match was playing. He tried to kick me but I locked is legs together with chains. He teleported to Antarctica next. The two other guys were still with us, which baffled me. Next we went to Paris. Then the Savanna. Next, Hancock''s trailer where he looked at us surprised. I waved at him and we jumped again. Finally I got tired of the world tour and once we were somewhere in the Miami beach, I knocked him out with a love tap. "You will have the whole world after you, if you don''t let us go!" The Vertigo guy shouted at me. "Oh? The whole world? For you three? You guys are so weak! Why would your bosses offend someone as powerful as I for three shits like you." I said as arrogantly as I could. When someone is angry they tend to spill out more information. Sure enough, my plan worked as the guy''s face changed to a flaming red due to righteous fury. "We are agents of the Superhuman Individual Regulations Station (S.I.R.S)." The ninja tried to stop him by shaking his head. ''Can''t he talk?'', I wondered. The Vertigo guy continued, "Our division has over a dozen superhuman agents and our technology is top of the line. You think my bosses are afraid of you, you piece of shit! You might be powerful but your strength is nothing against the might of the world!" This guy¡you''d think his father owns the entire world from the way he talks. I decided to mess with them a bit more. "Hancock." He looked confused and looked at the others. I had grouped them all together on the ground with construct handcuffs. The teleporter had a construct rope connecting him to me. I had figured out he couldn''t teleport alone when someone was holding onto his skin. His power took you along with him if you had skin to skin contact with him, that was why when I had held his naked hands he had dragged me with him. In addition, the contact was also mental, hence why the lady had successfully been teleported out of the meeting room by syncing her mind with his and why the other two had teleported with us. My constructs were mentally connected to me, so they went wherever I did. "Hancock, is a public menace but your little group of wannabee SHIELD agents haven''t done anything to him. Why is that?" They all looked bewildered, probably wondering why too. Funnily enough, the Impaler was the one who answered. " Not many know but back in the 80''s they tried. Out of 40 S.I.R.S enhanced agents, only 1 came back. That person was director Hana. Ever since then the government and Hancock steered clear of each other." The Ninja and Vertigo, were raptly paying attention. "I''m guessing, you guys didn''t know this?" "They wouldn''t, after all, I told Hana to keep it a secret. I''m surprised however at how, you know." A new voice said behind me. I quickly turned around and slipped into a stance. I hadn''t even felt anything! Mary was hovering infront of me sucritinizing the Impaler with an almost predatory look. "No matter," she said and turned back to me. "You, what are you?" I didn''t get the chance to say anything as she interrupted again. "I can feel the essence of a demigod in you¡but that''s impossible." I had a shocked look on my face at that but quickly hid it. "Your turn, what are you?" She gently flew down. "Me? I am a true god-killer, your natural enemy." The True God-killers part 2 (General P.O.V) (Unknown Place) "Are you going to keep on harrasing him? He''s just a mortal. I don''t understand your fixation on him." Said a female voice in a white expanse of nothing. "My fixation? I tried to look into his future but nothing showed. That only happens when someone ascends. The penalties were supposed to be limiters but now I don''t think that that is enough. That is why I blocked his entry from that world. I mean, he caught even me by surprise. He''s growing too fast and I needed some time to think up a plan." Answered a second voice, this one was distinctly male. The female voice snorted, " You''re playing a dangerous game." The male voice stayed silent. (Chris P.O.V) "My natural enemy? What are you even talking about? You know what? I am not in the mood right now. I have a score to settle with a certain someone. So if you don''t mind, I''ll go back to interrogating these three idiots over here." I turned my back to her, ignoring her but still ready for an attack. Vertigo was breathing heavily in fear, The ninja was resigned and the Impaler was silent. "Now, why don''t you do yourselves a favor and tell me what I want to know. Where can I find her? A hand fell on my shoulder. I had of course felt her coming thanks to my superior senses but I didn''t do anything. "What do you want?" "The gods are responsible for most of my pain. Because of them, there are only two of us left alive. I can''t let you walk this earth god-spawn." I looked at her over my shoulder. "Look, I understand having someone shit all over you because of their superior power. I am not a demi-god so trust me when I say there is no relation between the gods and I. Now, let go of my shoulder." She tightened her hold on me. I tried again. "Ok, how about this, lemme first deal with this issue in my hands right now and after I''m done tearing someone apart, we can have a good time trying to kill each other." She didn''t listen and increased the hold on my coat again. My hand closed into a fist and the tight control over my anger, I had learned to keep, slipped. I channeled the blue hard and my mind cleared but the damage was already done. Someone had tried to control me. Before I could kill them, others had blocked me. Before I could punish them too, this bitch came and thought she could treat me like a piece of shit. I have zero fucks left to give. This isn''t my world anyway, what do I care? "Overdrive second form: Heatwave." (Mary P.O.V) I had felt a blast of power come from the city and panicked. That power had had a lot of divine essence. Greater than the downgraded version of it, otherwise called Creaton particles. These particles were as a result of the left over ashes from dead gods and my people. The ashes had combined with the earth''s aether and a thousand years later, a few humans had started manifesting abilities. My panic increased at the thought of the gods coming back but I opted to wait and observe. Hancock confronted the one with that power and just as I was about to go back him up they stopped fighting. I heaved a sigh of relief and dialed down my senses. ''Hancock probably felt the discharge of power and came to investigate, even though he has lost his memories. A small part of him must have recognized it.'' I mused. I looked at my shaking hands and calmed myself down. I still remember the horror of the war with the gods, millenias ago. My species were created by Mother Earth herself, Gaea, to destroy the self-absorbed gods before they destroyed the earth itself. We had had the strength, speed and immortality to match them and our durability far surpassed theirs. So the battle started. After countless years of bloodshed the last of the gods had been destroyed but not without massive losses on our side either. Using his dying breath, Zeus himself had cursed us, with infertility and weakness when near each other. Only 2 members were left from a noble species of warriors and one of them was amnesiac. Remembering the past triggered the burning hatred my heart contained for gods and their spawns. I perked up when the god-spawn started engaging some enhanced humans. All this was possible to hear due to my supersenses. I readied myself and flew there, determined to end the god-spawn once and for all. Arriving there, I was surprised at how young he was. Dressed in a vintage black suit, he was tall and well built. A handsome face and long black hair completed the image. I could sense great power in him as well as the other three, though to much lesser degree. My God killer heritage was calling out for blood. We talked for a bit, as he tried to convince me he had no urge to fight me. I couldn''t let him walk away though, so I placed a hand on his shoulder and from the way he tensed, I could tell he was getting mad. By this time I was too far gone to care. Being near a demi-god, though not fully, was calling out my bloodlust. I increased my grip on him. My instinct screamed for me to jump away, so I did. That''s when I witnessed, the Advent of something even more intimidating than a god, a true devil. My heart knew fear. (Chris P.O.V) I couldn''t hold this form for long, only 2o seconds at most. That was enough however, for what I wanted to do. Overdrive second form: heat wave, increased my power by an unknown number of times. It was my strongest form so far and the riskiest. It worked on the principle of using 100% of the body''s strength, utilising the latent energy stored in my cells, full body red-enhancement and small bursts of green to quickly heal my body before i broke all my bones and burst my vessels. Oh, it also came with the added effect of pain.If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. My eyes, had turned red and in a 5 meter perimeter around me, the temperature was hot enough to boil water in seconds. Hence the name heat wave. I slipped into my superspeed and saw Mary still staring at me in shock. She had already jumped away by that time. I followed her and grasped her neck. Her eyes bulged open and before she could react we were already far above the ground. I threw her above me, flipped, formed a bubble to push me above her again and landed a devastating kick on her chest. She shot down towards an open grassland in the woods as her clothes started burning. The velocity proved to be too much and as she landed, forming a crater and devastating the area. Not even 5 seconds had passed. I followed her and while she was down planted both of my feet on her belly. She coughed out blood and a punch to the temple had her promptly fainting. I was surprised for a bit,''that''s it? I thought that the fight would be harder''. I shrugged and entertained the idea of smashing open her skull. If I let her live, she would still try to attack me again¡and honestly I was sick and tired of everyone fucking with me just because. First was ROD, second was the Ancient One, next Diana, even though that was mostly accidental, then Hancock who had attacked me for calling him an asshole, then that director bitch had tried to mind-rape me and then this stupid woman on the ground, who wanted to attack me because of a dumb reason. I''m done. The Grand Master, had advised me not to let my hate cloud my judgement but maybe I had mistaken his statement for being more passive. Reacting instead of acting. I placed a foot above her head, ready to kill her before Hancock slammed into the ground before me. 7 seconds were gone and I was left with 13 seconds and dropping. "Don''t try to stop me Hancock or this time, things will turn out differently." "I can''t let you kill her..." "Fuck off!" I shouted punching him and throwing him away. I turned back and quickly saw Mary''s prone body teleporting away in front of me. With my speed, I grabbed the end of her finger and found myself somewhere else. I was in the middle of a lab with futuristic tech, all around. Mary was on the floor next to me. I looked up and on the another room, separated from the lab by a clear screen, I saw the ninja, vertigo, impaler, a few scientists and the bitch I had been looking for staring at me in shock. ''So she had been monitoring me still, huh? Once she felt me attack Hancock, she had had the ninja teleport Mary here. I wonder why? You know what...I don''t even want to know anymore. I''m sick of this world.'' I placed a foot on Mary''s neck and stepped on it. A loud crack sounded and the occupants in the room panicked in fear. The Ninja teleport infront of me, poised to stab me with his sword, I stole it from his hands and separated his head from his body. With my superspeed, everything seemed Frozen in time, I jumped, broke through the glass and landed on the next room right on top of vertigo, whose body splattered open underneath me. Impaler was next, I stabbed the sword through his chest, in some ironic justice (because you know impaler, impales¡so I impaled him¡and I''m gonna stop.). Next was a shower of blood and limbs as I was trying to get to Hana. Everyone in that room was dead when I slipped out of my superspeed. Hana was still looking at where I had been and suddenly appearing infront of her covered in the blood of her colleagues, she scrambled to get away, slipping on the blood lying on the floor. Her wide beautiful eyes were full of fear, though she never let it show on her face. I dropped out of Overdrive:heat wave because this time, I wanted to pay her back personally. I had to learn to make my heart cold when needed and killing her under the effects of superspeed would make it too easy and probably weaken my resolve. No more passiveness. "If you kill me, the whole facility is rigged to blow in the absence of my life signature. The same happens if I leave the premises." I cocked my head to the side and propped the sword on my shoulder. "And you think I care?" "The blast will take out over 5 blocks, people will die!" She shouted losing the smug look on her face and frantically tried to attack me mentally. I gaped at her. ''She sets the bomb up to blow and tries to convince me it will be my fault if people died?" I slapped her efforts aside, having channeled the blue from the first time I dropped overdrive. "Your division is a bloodsucking tick that needs to be removed from the face of the Earth. The fact that you would endanger the same people you claim to try and protect, is despicable. Once you''re dead, I''ll make sure to destroy all your other bases." Without talking anymore, I stabbed the sword through her belly. She screamed in pain and I took it out and stabbed her through her limbs. She was losing blood fast and tears were rolling down her cheeks. Her eyes frantic, full of regret as she knew her death was eminent. I formed a thick shield around me before bursting through the roof of the facility. Up in the air, I let go of my shields and tried another facet of my ability I had learned. Normally I couldn''t use my colors in conjunction with each other except for when I was in Overdrive:heat wave form. But I figured a trick to bypass that restriction, though it only worked on this one thing. I manifested a semi-circular shield over the whole building but only managed to cover 50 square meters of the 1000 square meters. I cut the connection to the bubble shield and only maintained it mentally. Then I called upon the red and enhanced the shield''s size. The shield turned a red-orange color and expanded to cover the whole facility. A minute later, the whole building exploded in a fiery blaze that would have taken out the rest of the surroundings if it wasn''t for the shield covering it. I felt the mental difficulty of containing all that explosion in a tight space such as that so the explosion opted to go to the ground instead. People started streaming out of the other buildings and cars on the road, running away from the cracks forming in the area. I cursed myself for not predicting this and tried to make the shield a sphere. Alas, it was too late and by the time I let the shield down there was a gaping hole where the facility had been. I looked around and apart from small injuries no one was hurt. After everything had settled down people started pointing at me. I was breathing heavily on my trusty hover shield and directed it to start floating to the ground. The air picked up lightly and started flowing down to the gaping hole, then the rocks around the edge started getting sucked in, then the lamp post on the ground was pulled in too. Something was wrong... My instincts were telling me that there was something happening inside the gaping hole but because I didn''t get the foreboding feeling I usually did, when my life was on the line, I decided to investigate. Floating on my shield. Debris was now getting pulled in though the force of the pull was not strong enough to suck me in. A couple of meters in, I saw a light shining brightly from deep in. Suddenly the pull intensified and I regretted it immediately as I was sent hurtling down towards the light. I formed a rope, to attach to something outside but unexpectedly, my rope construct hit a shield not unlike mine and bounced back. I didn''t have time to go into Overdrive before I felt a squeezing motion and the darkness. (General P.O.V) Unknown to Chris, his world jump power interacted with the weird space his body ended up in and activated, sending him to a world of Marines and Pirates. New color and plans I felt my self regain consciousness. Opening my eyes I got into a stare-off with a woolly looking small creature in a red hat. "Aaaahh, he''s awake!" "Chopper, you''re the doctor, why are you screaming when your patient regains consciousness!" "I got scared Nami, did you see the sword he was carrying? It¡had¡blo.. blood on it!" I groaned and massaged my head, still out of it. Looking around, I found myself in a room made out of wood. There were three people inside with me. One was the creature I had first seen, the second was a slim, cute-looking babe with orange hair. The last Was a guy with a long nose protruding from his face in a comical way, that stirred a memory in my mind. Wait a minute...Chopper? Nami? Then the long nose guy should be Ussopp! I''m in One Piece. "Hey mister, you''re in the presence of Captain Ussopp, the greatest pirate to ever live. I have 5000 men behind¡" "Shut up Ussopp!" Nami said. Did she just get taller and her head bigger for a second? "I''ll go tell the others." Chopper excused himself shyly and ran out the door. "Where I''m I?" I inquired from them. Just because I knew the plot doesn''t mean I knew the timeline. "We''re on our to mock town. You landed on the deck of our ship 2 days ago at night. Not long after a wrecked ship fell from the sky." "Why did you tell him that Nami?!" "I know what I''m doing. He might know something about it." Ussopp was confused. "That ship was over 200 years old Nami. This guy doesn''t look much older than us!" Before they could continue their conversation, effectively ignoring me, the rest of the strawhats sans Robin and Zoro came in. Luffy had his signature straw hat, Sanji was having a smoke inside the room? How insensitive. Lastly Chopper was hiding behind Luffy. "Hey stranger, ya feeling alright?" Luffy asked in his annoyingly high pitched voice. "He hit his head pretty hard, when he landed but he didn''t even have a bruise. Most of his injuries came with him." That was Chopper, diagnosing me. "I take it, you''re the one who treated me? If so thank you doctor." I said in a humble manner. Chopper started his tsundere tendencies and I smiled at him. "Shishishi, Chopper is a great doctor. He''ll get you fixed up in no time. My name is Luffy¡" Then he went on to introduce the rest of the crew. When he was done, I got up and bowed. "Thank you for your generosity, Captain Luffy, my name is Chris. I hope I''m not intruding upon your hospitality further but could you please get me some clothes?" Luffy was confused momentarily before he laughed it off. "What did he say?" We all deadpanned at him. "He is asking for clothes baka! He was dressed in rags when he landed on the ship." Sanji supplied. "In any case, we''ll bring you some once we land at Mock town." "He still needs his rest guys, Sanji could you make him some soup? He needs his energy back." Chopper said while pushing them out of the room. Ussopp went out while complaining about not getting the chance to tell me tales of his exploits. This made me chuckle for a bit before I noticed pain radiating from all over my body. I channeled the green and the room lit up instantly. 5 minutes later all my injuries were taken care of, but, despite how OP the green was, I still hoped it worked like Wolverine''s regeneration. You see, the green could only heal me, If I consciously directed it too. The only instances where it worked on its own was when my injuries were life threatening. Now that I was alone, it was time to think. First of all, how did I get here from the Hancock world? My speculations were that I was transported by that artefact hidden in the S.I.R.S building somewhere where my world jump activated randomly and I landed where I was. I looked deep within myself but saw that the world jump ability still needed 5 months to recharge fully. So how? Maybe time was meaningless in that place? All I remembered about it was a squeezing motion and darkness, nothing else. My brain must have locked away those memories and I was wary of accessing them. There wasn''t much to do about it though, so I pushed the thought away. Ever since I had woken up, there was an icon of the Omnitrix minimized at the edge of my eyesight. I had been dumbfounded for a while because never had it displayed such a function before. I maximized it and looked at the textboxes.Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Copied and Saved.] -Option 1-Transform- Change your d.n.a to a prime individual of the species. 20% decrease in abilities through all attributes. Lasts only for 5 minutes. -Option 2- Intergrate- incorporate the d.n.a into your own body. Faces a 20% decrease in power and gains an Opposite. -Option 3- fuse this d.n.a with another. Removes inherent weaknesses in both but faces a 20% decrease in ability. ALERT: When this d.n.a is incorporated, the host will randomly imprint on an individual from the opposite gender as his Opposite. When near the Opposite, all abilities will face a 50% decrease and a decrease of 1% per decrease for every hour stayed near the Opposite. Leaves the user in peak-human power level. Penalties apply to both. I had been expectant of this d.n.a but the last statement in the text box disappointed me. I couldn''t intergrate the d.n.a because the cons greatly outweighed the pros. I would basically be powerless when near my Opposite. Not to mention that I could randomly imprint on a married woman, or an old one or so many other things could go wrong. I looked at the next text box hoping that it would offer something good. [Detected d.n.a of a sub species of human. Due to similarities with the x-gene, no new ability gained. Mutant ability increased and unlocked a new color- Yellow. Yellow - Provides the user with one absolute lucky chance per month. The ability has to be activated consciously and for the user to will it to happen on something. This ability is limited to the surrounding conditions and environment.] Not bad or good either. Though yellow could prove to be my most powerful support ability yet. Up until now, I had been jumping worlds randomly but now imagine if I use yellow in conjunction with world jump? I could chose where to go! Ben 10 here I come¡wait no, I still can''t go there. No matter how much I wanted to upgrade the watch, ROD, would just block my entry again. I doubted that yellow could bypass his restrictions, considering the fact that he''s a cosmic being. So what should I do? Mmmh how about I travel the multiverse some more while searching for more power? Power while not enough to contend against him, was enough to skip past his restrictions? Yes, that was what I would do. I looked at the last text box and felt my heart momentarily stop. [Omnitrix has reached it''s full capacity of storage. D.n.a stored are:- 1. Super soldier d.n.a 2. Mutant d.n.a 3. Amazon d.n.a 4. Demigod d.n.a 5. N/A 6. God-killer d.n.a] No, no, no, nooo! This is nerfing to the highest order. Calm down. I could still get through this. A strained smile appeared on my face. "Omnitrix is there a function of deleting and replacing one d.n.a with another?" The watch was different somehow, I could feel it. Ever since I came to One piece, I could tell that it was semi-aware. So maybe it wasn''t a stretch to say that it could answer some of my queries concerning it''s functions. Sure enough... "Affirmative. User can delete and replace d.n.a at his leisure. However, the benefits gained from the deleted d.n.a would also be rendered inactive." I breathed a sigh of relief. "With this function and fusing d.n.a , the watch will still be a help to me." I said quietly to myself. The N/A at number 5, was Ares'' d.n.a. Nothing had showed up when I had copied it. It also seemed that I couldn''t copy devil fruit powers. Chopper must have had a lot of contact with my skin whilst treating me but no text-box appeared. The watch could have displayed the ''cant copy'' message but it hadn''t. That meant that to get stronger in this world, I would have to eat a devil fruit and learn haki. Based on the timeline, the rumble rumble fruit was ripe for the picking ( get it? Ripe for the picking because of Enel and it''s a fruit... I''ll shut up now). If I followed the strawhats I would finally come across him, kill him and by using my yellow, have a fruit with me that will absorb the essence of the rumble rumble fruit from his body. Told you, yellow was overpowered. However¡the strawhats had their own adventures. Why should I limit myself to following a plot I know all about when I could be doing something even better? Like learning haki and rukoshiki? Ok! New change of plans. Once I rest for a little while longer, I''ll separate with the strawhats, use my powers to fly up to sky island, beat Enel and kill him, use the yellow and get the fruit, then find someone to teach me haki and rukoshiki or maybe learn rukoshiki by myself?. I could repay Luffy for his help during the Marineford war by rescuing Ace. I was also going to have to be very careful to notice changes that will happen because of my having the mark of fate. Thinking about Enel, I knew that the battle would be fierce, fortunately for me I was much more stronger than I was previously, which was probably because of the world of one piece. I felt my cells sucking something in the air, so subtly it might have escaped my notice if it weren''t for Bio-kinesis. Not to mention, with my mutant ability I believed I could hurt him by coating my hands in red. If I couldn''t beat him, I would encase myself in my bubble shield and escape from him, then wait for Luffy to kick his has and kill him. I wasn''t as apprehensive for planning Enel''s death, as I thought I would be. The guy had a god-complex bigger than his gold ship and killed people whenever he wanted. So he is going down. All I had to do was wait. Six powers I felt my self regain consciousness. I maximized it and looked at the textboxes. You could be reading stolen content. All I had to do was wait. Future Yonko Vs Lil Old Me (General P.O.V) Nami didn''t understand why Luffy and Zoro had allowed themselves to be beaten and humiliated like that. They were strong damnit! Her captain had fought powerful people¡no monsters before and come out on top. Not to mention that Zoro was one of the strongest people in the crew. So how and why? She was dragging them as they left the tavern, both were bleeding from the cuts and bruises on their faces. "Gahahahaha sky island does exit." She heard a voice from behind her and saw the large man, Luffy had been arguing with before. She was a little discusted from the way he was eating his cherry pies. "You''re that man from before." She found herself replying. "Hahahaha, those two won the fight you know." He said again, munching on his cherry pies some more. Normally the conversation would have gone on with Blackbeard talking about how the new era was bullcrap and that people needed to follow their dreams but¡this time, he got his hands on a certain wanted poster a little bit earlier. One that displayed, Strawhats luffy''s face with a bounty of 100 million berries. The amount he needed to become a warlord of the sea. Zoro''s sword suddenly left it''s scabbard as he blocked a double bladed scythe from cleaving right through Nami. "Ugh,he blocked my attack. Must be fate." Doc q moaned as his horse jumped back. Zoro''s injuries were forgotten as he unsheathed another sword. Nami was left wide-eyed at how close she had come to death. Luffy jumped, stretched out his leg and slammed a kick right on Blackbeard''s face. Blackbeard was thrown into the tavern where Bellamy and his crew were still drinking. "Aaaahh, my face! That hurts! It hurts so bad!" Blackbeard was rolling on wrecked tables and chairs crying out in pain. Bellamy came out with fury marring his feautures. "What the fuck do you think you''re doing, you¡" He didn''t finish before a giant of a man, wearing a half mask, with purple hair got a hold of him and slammed him on the ground. "Don''t talk to the Captain like that!" Luffy got into position, ready for a fight. "Nami, you need to escape. These guys are strong." Nami was about to argue but after seeing the serious look on his face she nodded and ran off while the rest were all pre-occupied. Blackbeard got out of the wreckage with an angry scowl on his face. "Blame your own luck Strawhat. Your bounty is 100 million berries. You''re coming with me, whether you like it or not." " I don''t know you but if it''s a fight you''re looking for it''s a fight you''ll get!" "Captain let me have a go at him. I can take him down for you!" Blackbeard shook his head at Jesus Burgess'' suggestion. "No, we are on limited time. That guy is near here and his arrival will bring a lot of trouble for us." Luffy didn''t waste time and ran at Blackbeard his hands stretched far behind him. "Gum gum bazooka!" He planted both hands into Blackbeard''s midsection and Blackbeard shot off again. "Uaaaaagh aaah damn you Straw brat! That hurts¡aaaahh" He screamed again. An apple landed at Luffy''s side from where Zoro was trading blows with Doc q. Remembering what Nami had said, Luffy quickly launched the disguised bomb to Jesus Burgess who was watching the fight from the side. The bomb went off, Jesus remained unscathed but the buildings around him were caught up in the blast. Pirates and civilians alike were streaming out of the buildings, running for their lives. Dark smoke started rolling off of Blackbeard and Luffy was caught up in his black vortex, then slammed down on the ground. He spit out blood but Blackbeard was not done with him, with a sadistic look on his face, he slammed him dowm again a few more times. That was the scene Chris came across when he arrived. (Chris P.O.V) ''It seems like my existence has already started changing things again'' I mused to myself as Luffy was caught by Blackbeard''s black vortex and slammed on the ground. I had planned to leave Blackbeard alone as he was a vital piece to the plot but this was just asking for it. You know what, fuck the plot. I wasn''t that familiar with using soru amid a fight so I decided not to use the rokushiki and slipped into Overdrive. I didn''t feel like having a drawn out fight with Blackbeard and give him a chance to escape, so a quick death was all I had for him. I formed a shield behind me and blocked a punch from Jesus Burgess. He must have sensed my killing intent towards his captain. I kicked out, reinforcing my leg with red and heard a bone break. Jesus was thrown away and slammed into the trees behind us. Another shield came into being around me, anticipating a bullet, that sure enough slammed into it aimed at my forehead. Just as I''d thought, Van Augur is hiding somewhere around here. Even though I knew where the shot had come from, my enhanced senses couldn''t spot him. He was that good. Blackbeard had already noticed me, however, due to his distraction Luffy slammed a punch on his kidney and he doubled over howling in pain. Luffy jumped away breathing heavily. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it. Zoro was dodging bombs and scythe swipes from the sickly doctor, using the two-sword style. I trusted him to handle whatever Doc q dished out. Blackbeard was a different matter altogether though. "Luffy, no offense but the way you are right now you can''t beat him. I need you and Zoro to fall back." He looked turned his attention around and finally spotted me. "You''re the guy who fell into our ship. Shishishi, I didn''t know you were this strong." "Yeah, I am and that''s why I want to repay you by taking this fight off your hands." "No way! This guy picked a fight with me, he''s going down!" Luffy shouted and I face-palmed. This stubborn guy. Ok, a change of tactics. I knew if Blackbeard got serious, Luffy wouldn''t stand a chance. "Think about your crew Luffy! What if the rest of this guy''s friends went to attack your nakama at the going merry? Based on their strength they would get hurt. So stop being selfish and go!" I knew that that was a dirty move but it was the only way to make sure Luffy would retreat. "Shut up! Sanji and the rest are strong. I believe in them!" "These are not like the enemies you have fought before. They will attack without mercy. Do you want your friend''s deaths to be on your shoulders just because you couldn''t give up one fight?" That was the last straw. He gritted his teeth and stepped away from Blackbeard who was dragging himself up now. "You''re not going anywhere Strawhat!" "Tch, you better kick his ass, Fall-down-guy! Zoro let''s go save the crew!" Zoro sent a blue sword slash at doc q who dodged out of the way, giving him enough time to slip away and join Luffy. Blackbeard stretched out his darkness to capture Luffy but I intervened with a slap construct right on his face. "Bad boy Blackie! Your fight is with me." This time he didn''t even scream out but instead laughed. I could feel the anger bubbling up inside him, ready to be unleashed upon the world. "Hahahaha, boy, you''re gonna wish you never crossed me! Doc q, Burgess, Augur and Lafitte let''s take this bastard down." " Ugh, whatever you say." " Hahaha now we''re talking Captain." " Aye." " Understood captain." Lafitte who had just arrived, was flapping his wings up in the air. What was he doing here? He was supposed to be at Marygeoise! Was this really all my fault? The whole crew was surrounding me and I felt anticipation. I was just about to fight one of the most despicable antagonists in the whole One Piece world and the thrill was getting to me. So how to go about this? I''ve always fought my battles in a drawn out manner but sometimes variety is good. I formed a Katana sword construct in my hands akin to a normal asauchi, maintained it mentally and enhanced it with red afterwards. I then stopped channeling red and channeled blue to avoid Lafitte''s hypnosis. I planted one leg before me and slightly bent forward, with the Katana on my hip, ''damn, does this look as cool as it feels?. Jesus cradling his broken left arm used a high speed skill akin to Soru and appeared before me ready to strike down. Doc q was preparing to throw a bomb at me. Blackbeard had spread out his darkness and was sucking the debris on the ground, aiming to capture me. A shield had sprouted to block Van Augur''s bullets and Lafitte was doing nothing. How did I know this? At that time I had no idea but by a fluke, I had managed to unlock observation haki. "Blitz avenger." I named the impromptu move and flashed forward. One strike had Jesus Burgess head flying off his shoulder even before he knew what had happened, though to me everything seemed to be on pause. Another strike and Doc q had his body split from his head to his groin while still lying on his horse. I created a construct under me and propelled myself up, two slashes took out Lafitte''s wings and quick thrust ensured his death. I created another construct above me, flipped and bounded off of it aiming for Blackbeard. I planted the sword right through his back and destroyed his heart. Leaving the Katana inside his chest, I slipped out of my superspeed just before a sonic boom erupted from where I had been. Jesus Burgess head fell down separated from his body, a spray of blood spewed out of doc Q''s body as it split into two halves. The horse started freaking out and ran away. Lafitte groaned out in pain, fell down and died and Blackbeard coughed out blood and fell to his knees. I stepped around him and stood before his injured form. I was marveling at how strong this world''s residents were because even after destroying his heart, he hadn''t immediately died. His face was full of pain, shock and an unwillingness to die. "You see, Blackie, you''re to blame for all this. You betrayed your Daddy and killed your brother. How does it feel knowing that all the shit you''ve done and the years you have endured to get here, were all for nothing? To tell you the truth I was content to leave you alone but then you went and tried to capture Luffy. I''m not a good guy by any stretch but when someone helps me, I try to repay them. Too bad for you though. Goodbye Marshal D. Teach." "Wait, please¡help¡" I was surprised but not enough to not block, the hail of bullets firing at me from around me. Damn, Van Augur is fast. "You can still talk? Doesn''t matter, I am not letting you go." I said that as I dismissed the Katana on his chest, re-created it and decapitated him. Van Augur stopped shooting at me and surprisingly showed himself. I shook my head and curiously said, "I never got why you joined Blackbeard in the first place. Someone with your personality and attitude, not to mention skill could have become whatever he wanted." "He gave me a purpose. It was fated I join him." "And now it''s fated that you''ll die here to me." He shrugged nonchalantly. However, I was still wary of any tricks and sure enough a black apple appeared on his left hand. I quickly encased him in a bubble shield and layered it 5 times. The explosion happened and when I dropped the shield up in the air a rush of air gushed out. Only ashes were left behind from the remains of one of the best snipers in the world. All in all a future Yonko died by my hands easily. That was not enough to make me overconfident however. I knew there were some hidden dragons in this world whose power most likely eclipsed mine. "You killed Teach. He was mine to take out." A voice said from behind me. I had of course sensed him when he had come into my range. I turned around and looked at Ace calmly, he had a complicated look on his face as he looked at Blackbeard''s body. "The plan was to take him back to Pops, now I don''t know how he''s going to react..." He said as he exhaustedly sat on the stone remains of a wall. "Hey you wanna come with me to meet him?" I played dumb. "Who?" "Whitebeard." Watch Me Closely "I can''t. I have something important to do, maybe next time." I told Ace. He looked at me for a while longer, sighed then calmly nodded. "In any case, thanks for saving my little brother." I adopted a thinking pose. Ace being here was an opportunity in and of itself. "Help me out with something and we''ll be even." "What do you need?" He asked me. "You''re a logia fruit user right? I want to see if I can touch you, while you''re in your elemental state" He rose an eyebrow at that. "Although I''m curious as to why you would even want that, I won''t pry. The name is Ace by the way but I''m guessing you already knew that." I nodded. "Call me Chris." I channeled a little red in the palm of my hand and reached out to touch his hand. The outcome would be the deciding factor. My hand landed on his biceps and I breathed out a sigh of relief when I made contact with it. Ace, however, had a surprised look on his face. "How did you do that? Only someone with haki or an opposing element can hurt me." "What happened to not prying?" I smiled wryly at him. H shook his head, "You''re right, I am sorry. The Marines will be here any minute though, I suggest you leave, before they see you. I already have a bounty but if you don''t want one, then go." "Marines? There''s actually a marine outpost on this island?" Ace answered while he was headed for Blackbeard''s corpse. "Yes, they''re just too pre-occupied with maintaining order in this Chaotic place, to think about catching small fry." I laughed at that bit. Then turned to leave. "See you around, fire fist Ace." "Yeah see you around Chris." I left him, drinking Sake in a pseudo-mourning mood. I made my way to the Going merry and just as I was jumping up on it, a fist slammed right on to my gut. I could have dodged it or blocked but didn''t because I knew I had deserved it. I hunched over and rubbed my belly not expecting for the blow to actually hurt. "That''s for lying to me, you bastard!" "Luffy! What are you doing attacking him like that? He saved us¡" Nami started chewing her captain out and wringing his neck. The rest of the crew were watching with different expressions on their faces. Luffy flopped in her arms like a dead fish as Zoro snickered. Only to get yelled at too by the ship''s navigator. I smiled and shook my head at their antics. I could see why they all had such trust in each other. Truthfully no matter how hard things got, because of my meddling, I had little doubt that they wouldn''t prevail and come out stronger at the end. I bowed down, "Thank you for you and your crew''s hospitality, Luffy. I apologise for lying to you earlier. It''s time for me to leave but before I go, I want to show you something." I said, gratitude rolling off of me. They all looked at me and started paying attention, so I continued, "Your journey is only going to get tougher. Your bounty is 100 million already, not to mention your swordsman''s has increased to 60 million berries too. The current you would be killed by a vice admiral and at the most match up against a rear admiral." I stopped to let that sink in. "What''s a rear admiral?" "A rear admiral is the highest rank in the Marines, right under vice admiral, Admiral and The Fleet admiral." Robin answered in a serious tone. Her face was grave and I knew that she, better than anyone else knew the dangers the top brass of the Marines posed. I nodded. "She''s right, these ranks compose of the strongest people the Marines have to offer and they''ll be gunning for you, and your crew. To even out the odds you all have to get stronger. Especially you Luffy." "Huh?" "Watch me closely." I told him as I got into a wide super-saiyan stance. After continuously perfecting Overdrive, the amount of smoke produced from the form had lessened greatly though the pink tint still remained. I slipped into the imperfect form and I heard the gasps of the crew. "This Luffy, is one of the ways to bridge the gap. The only people who can safely practice this skill are you and I. However, for you, it should be a last resort. The Trump card of all trump cards. I won''t tell you the principle behind it but I''ll give you a hint. Your rubber physique is your greatest asset. With it, you can do much more than you think."This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it I stepped lightly and placed a hand on Zoro''s shoulder, before he could even react. "The skill multiplies my strength by a factor of 10 but I can only do it for 10 minutes." They all had wide open mouths in shock at seeing me disappear and appear instantaneously at Zoro''s side. I dropped it and smiled at them again. "Now who''s hungry coz I''m starving." I had to take advantage of Sanji''s cooking after all. The next day at the crack of dawn, the crew was planning to visit Cricket, to ask him about the way to Sky island. I was dressed in a long coat, trouser and shirt that looked like Alucard''s from Castlevania. All I needed was a sword to complete the image. I slung the backpack containing the rest of my clothes and bare necessities at my back. I really need to get a storage space in one of the worlds I''ll be traveling to, I mused to myself after a hefty breakfast from Sanji. I had additionally showed them all the basics of soru to prepare them for water seven. It all depended on them, if they learned it or not. I had said goodbye to all of them and just as I was about to leave, Robin came to talk to me. "You didn''t mention my bounty to them. Thank you." "You know Robin, I''ll be leaving in the next 5 months or so. If you want I could take you with me when the time comes." She sadly shook her head. "There''s nowhere, the world government won''t find me." "Trust me where I''ll be going, the world government will never be able to find you ever again." Still she refused. I knew it was probably because of the void century, so I let it be. I formed a construct armor around my body akin to the iron monger metal armor and controlled it to go up, the Going merry getting smaller and smaller. I still couldn''t make my constructs more compact but my control had increased greatly. The feeling of flying without a construct under me was exhilarating and I couldn''t wait for when I learned to actually fly. Maybe...I stopped in the air and made a construct to stand on. The orange armor around me disappeared as I tried something else. I couldn''t cover my whole body with my orange but what if I formed wings out of them. I strained a little trying to copy a bird''s wings physiology and surprisingly, I succeeded. Well, succeeded is stretching it a bit because two tiny wings formed on my back. I concentrated on making them bigger and they increased in size to match hawkman''s. The strange thing was that I could control them mentally. Normally I had to use my mutant ability to create and maintain constructs apart from when I mentally decided to enhance them with red, which took a lot of concentration. These wings however needed no conscious effort to maintain. They felt like an extension of my body. I dismissed them and created them again. The ease at which they sprouted from my back with the backpack in between, assured me I could use them and still form other constructs without mental fatigue. I called upon the red and enhanced my body while the wings were still on. There wasn''t the slightest hiccup and a smile fought it''s way to my face. I flapped my wings and got pushed out into the air. Flying was the real challenge now. After an hour of spiralling, involuntarily flipping and performing unintentional gymnastics I finally got flying down. I flapped my wings and shot up at a speed faster than when I was on my hovering construct. I formed a faint construct above me to help with the pressure and increased my speed even more. At this rate I would arrive at my destination in no time. Sure enough the air started getting colder then warmer as I neared strange fluffy clouds. With my shield above me, I broke past the foamy water and found myself in a sea of clouds. Up ahead I could see an island, I stopped to first admire the surroundings. I felt short of breath but after getting used to it in addition to my Bio-kinesis adjusting things I got better. ''Now should I go to Angel Island or proceed straight to Upper yard? To tell the truth, I don''t like the thought of wasting any more time. I''ll just proceed to the ''sacred ground'' and beat ''god''s'' ass before the Strawhats arrive and take all the fun. I''ll leave the priests for them though. God knows I don''t want to waste my time and energy fighting them'' I thought to myself. A ''guerilla'' tried to attack me but I blasted him back into the sea cloud, shrugging. It was so effortless that I didn''t even pay attention to him anymore. Though Gan fall appeared in a horse dotted with polka marks. Now, was it the bird that ate a horse horse fruit or the other way around? "Hello stranger, I am Gan fall, the Knight of the sky¡" "Look man, no disrespect but I honestly don''t care. All I want to know is where I can find your so called ''god'' and kick his ass." Suddenly a large majestic beam of lightning fell down on a 5 layered shield, I had instantly put up. Maybe, I was a tad too overconfident, I thought as the beam broke past 1 of my shields then dissipated harmlessly on the last 4. Huh, that''s it? "That was very¡not cool. If you can hear me Enel, I''m going to make you pay for almost ruining my clothes." Fuck the overconfidence bit. It''s not overconfidence, when you know your enemies strength as well as yours. If this was Enel''s full capabilities then he was going down. Hard. The Most Overused Trope "Stay here, I have a score to settle with this wannabe god." I left Gan fall behind still shocked at how I had survived the lightning strike. I flapped my wings and headed straight for Upper yard. The plan was to confront Enel directly. Just before I had even made it hafway there, a flash of electrical discharge appeared infront of my sight and my body spasmed in uncontrollable pain. I quickly encased myself in a shield and the attack ended. My clothes would be smoking if I hadn''t adopted the practice of enhancing them with red all the time. A tall shirtless man with long ear lobes and drums on his shoulders was floating, wait¡floating? Enel could fly? What the¡I don''t remember¡could he have tapped into the goro goro no mi''s electromagnetism aspect? As expected of one of the strongest devil fruits in the world. Soon, it will be mine. He stared at me in astonishment and wariness before he quickly replaced it with an arrogant veneer. "You''re in the presence of a god mortal, Prostrate yourself and beg for mercy." He said. I laughed as I shook my head. " god? You''re no god, you''re just a frog at the bottom of a well." "Bottom of a well. Hahahaha, don''t you see where my palace is? I am at the summit of the world. There''s no one higher than me! All the world belongs to me and soon everyone will know this. " ''Huh, that was a strange thing to say, normally Enel would rage and strike at me without further ado. Something was fishy here. "Sorry to disappoint you but you will not live long enough to realize that that dream of yours." I said as I slipped into Overdrive. He widened his eyes a little and shuffled backwards in a little fear before a determined look closed his face. ''Ok, what the heck is going on?'' "You''re not Enel. Who are you?" I came to the conclusion. His shock was even greater than before. He pulled back his hand in panic and let fly an attack that was too fast for me to dodge. "Lightning strike!" I made a layered shield and blocked off the attack, then constructed a gun, coated it with red and started shooting at him. Using mantra, the Enel wannabe started flashing around me in a streak of blue lightning, akin the flash. He was fast but not as fast as I had expected. In my overdrive form my speed was around mach 39 and my strength was at 500 tons more or less. Based on the speed of a lightning bolt which was 270000mph, Enel''s speed was at a whooping mach 350. This was enough to run circles around me. Literally. However, this faker was at mach 200 at most. I didn''t need to use my full strength for him though, my construct bullets would suffice for this. " Agggh! Shit! Fuck you, you son of a bitch. He said you were bad news but I didn''t think you could actually hurt me with my speed!" He reformed into Enel''s human form and stared at me with a menacing look on his face. A thin trail of blood was running down from his shoulder, which was bleeding. "He?" I rose an eyebrow and stared at him. I had a strong suspicion he was talking about ROD but I didn''t understand what he had to do with any of this but maybe¡the strange Enel, his use of the devil fruit to tap into electromagnetism and not to mention, his inexperience with using the same power. This guy¡was a¡Self insert. "What did he offer you in exchange for killing me?" I asked him, still pointing my construct gun at him. I had been planning to use Heatwave to kill this guy, if he proved too difficult but now¡with ROD involved I needed to be even more careful. "Hahaha, why should I tell you!? You''ll be dead soon anyway." "You''re a little too overconfident for someone who doesn''t know how to use Enel''s full power well." He looked at me as if I was an idiot. "Dude, don''t you see me using diamagnetism to levitate myself?" "So what? Just because you tapped into another facet of the devil fruit, doesn''t mean that you already know how to use it. Your tactics are simple and ineffective and your speed is too slow, when using a devil fruit such as the rumble rumble. Branching off without mastering what you already have, doesn''t make you a genius. It makes you a fool for overreaching." To tell you the truth, my pettiness stemmed from the fact that ROD could give someone else such great power from the start, all so that they could kill me rather than play fair with me. I was a little bit salty over that. By a little bit, I mean a lot! " Fuck you, in the face of overwhelming power, tactics are for pussies. If I want to blast you with a lightning bolt, that''s my choice!" I shook my head. I didn''t want to get into an argument about whose ideals were stronger with this guy. "In any case, you allied yourself with someone who will betray and cast you away after he''s done with you. And if you think Enel''s power is enough to take me on, you''re solely mistaken." I expected him to look a little bit afraid by his reaction was completely different. The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. "Who said I only had that?" He smugly told me. An easily recognizable pattern appeared on both his eyes. A large discharge of an unrecognizable blue energy started emmitting from his body and a skeleton structure formed around him. "Oh shit, this fucker has a bloody mangekyou sharingan?" (Enel P.O.V) I had been in the best party of my life. Bitches were everywhere and booze was flowing like a goddamn river. My gang and I decided to have some more fun, so we drove around town just enjoying ourselves some more. Jack, my best friend had been the one driving while I had been seated on the passenger seat next to him. Mike and Tyler were in the back with a passed out Monty. All we did was throw empty beer cans at a few homeless fucks, when a friggin cop car started chasing us man. Knowing the boys in blue were especially nasty at night, Jack stepped on the pedal and off we zoomed. The cop car was persistent though, never losing us. Jack started getting frustrated and just after he had turned the corner, a drunk guy appeared infront of us. In panic, Jack tried to swerve out the way and ended up hitting a water hydrant. I crashed through the window and slammed onto a wall. My body crumpled to the ground and I felt unimaginable pain for just a fleeting moment before I succumbed to darkness. Suddenly however, I found myself in a typical office room with a fat guy sitting behind the table, watching me, hands clasped together. "You died. No you''re not special. No you''re not going to heaven and yes it''s hell for you." My eyes widened and I stumbled back. It wasn''t because of the fact he had read my mind though. "Hell?! I went to church on Sundays!" The fucker had the nerve to laugh. " It takes more than that to get to heaven kid. And calling me a fucker while I hold your fate in my hands is beyond dumb." I was seized with panic and fear, that I lost control of my body and weakly knelt on the ground. "Please¡gimme another chance! I''ll not throw empty beer cans at the homeless again! I promise!" Tears and snot were running down my face but I didn''t care. Eternal damnation in hell? I wasn''t ready for that! He threw a disgusted look at me and waved his hand, instantly calm returned to me and my face cleared of all tears and snot. "I want to make a deal with you. I''ll give you some wishes and you''ll do something for me. That way you can avoid the tan down there. It''s pretty hot this time of the year." I frantically nodded, happy to have a way out even though, I was set to become this guy''s lap dog. "Lap-dog? No no no, this is a mutually beneficial arrangement,Kid. A sort of you scratch my back, I scratch yours relationship. So, out with it then. Make your wishes." "First¡tell me, what kind of thing you want me to do for you." I asked. He waved his hand again and a chair manifested itself behind me and I got pulled down on it. "Now that we''re comfy, let''s get down to it. I need you to kill someone for me. He''s a maniac with no regard for life and kills wantonly. I can''t do it myself, as I''m shackled by ancient laws, don''t ask. He''s powerful and cunning and will try to manipulate you. The world I''m sending you to is the one you humans know as One piece. Yes, the multiverse theory is true." He stopped for me to digest that. I was a little unnerved by the way he was reading my thoughts but that was overshadowed by the thought of spreading Nami''s legs and fucking her to insanity. A small smile made its way to my face. "You will be inserted into Enel''s body. That part is set and I''m afraid I can''t change it. Because of Enel''s power, I can only give you two more wishes." I was a little disgruntled at that but Enel''s power plus 2 additional wishes were enough to steamroll anyone in One piece. "Ok, for my first wish, I want to get the purest Uchiha bloodline with an eternal mangekyou sharingan. On the left, tsukuyomi and on the right kamui. For my second wish I want the ability to travel the multiverse." "I''m sorry but after using most of my power to bring you here, I can only give you a mangekyou sharingan, with tsukuyomi and Kamui, though Kamui will have a restriction of only using it for 20 seconds and a recharge time of one minute due to Enel''s devil fruit physique. The multiverse travel will only activate after you have stayed in a given world for 1 year." Ok, I can still¡make it work. "Fine, instead of the Kamui can I get amaterasu?" He smiled and nodded. "That I can do." "So how I''m I going to identify this guy you want me to kill?" Killing was something new to me, but strangely I felt mostly okay with doing it. Plus, the guy I was going to off was a legit bad guy. So no skin off my back, I guess. "Oh, you will notice him right off the bat. He''ll be someone unique and different from the rest of the known cast." I nodded and a portal appeared infront of me, I looked at him and he nodded encouragingly. "Huh¡thanks for everything." With that I entered the portal and woke up as a god. (General P.O.V) Just after the soul had left the overseer''s office, a beautiful blonde woman with stars in her eyes materialized into existence right next to the Overseer''s seat. "I told you, you are playing a dangerous game but you never listen. This is beyond foolish, sending a mortal to kill one who has the mark of fate is meaningless. Not to mention you manipulated his mind to ask for the wishes, you wanted. He will lose." The woman said. The Overseer was silent for a minute, before a laugh escaped his mouth. "Hahaha, what you don''t understand my dear, is that, that''s the plan. After creating the first headache that is Mr.Wentworth, why would I want to add another? On top of that, ''He'' is becoming aware of my machinations in the mortal realm, so I need to fix this quickly. I''m betting on the fact he loses. That was I why I manipulated him step by step into a non-reusable pawn. After the pawn dies, Mr.Wentworth will not be a headache anymore. That, I assure you. Now where were we?" Overwhelming power I looked at the giant infront of me and quickly averted my sight, to look anywhere else but his eyes. I also started channeling blue and instantly my mind felt calm. Enel''s Susanoo was blue with typical Oni features. On its right hand, it had a hammer that looked like Thor''s Stormbreaker from the Avengers. Rather fitting for a giant of lightning. On its left hand was a chain with spikes along it''s length. Ok, clearly this Susanoo is made for direct combat. "Hahaha, I hate sounding like a typical villain but, you have no hope of beating me." He shouted at me from inside the giant''s head. I got into a ready stance and dismissed my gun constructs. ''what to do¡''. Enel''s threat level had just gone up, with this recent power. The Susanoo was no joke, just look at Sasuke''s battle against the Raikage and his retinue. It''s defense was incredible. We were still above the sea cloud, so there was no way I could use the environment as a cover, to chip away at him. Not to mention his speed¡ "Oopmh!" My breath was knocked out of me by a too fast for me to see chain. The spikes failed to penetrate my clothes after breaking through 3 layered shields. I caught myself in mid-air and looked around for him. He had disappeared with his crazy speed by then. Just then, I sensed something coming at me from the sky. Stormbreaker broke through 6 out of 7 of my layered shields and for the first time ever, my last shield failed to negate all of the force behind the blow. I found myself shooting down through the sea clouds. I flapped my wings and caught myself in time. My breath was a little bit heavy. I dropped blue and channeled green to quickly heal the bruises I had gotten from the chain spikes. Left alone, my enhanced healing would have healed me within seconds but I was in an active battle that required me to be at 100%. The clouds above me started flashing purple, with streaks of lightning in between. Another layered shield blocked a massive beam of lightning and the sound that followed afterwards was deafening. Luckily they held up against the assault and I finally figured out something important. His pure lightning attacks are weak, what I need to watch out for is his speed and the Susanoo weapon''s attack. Bolstered, I shot off towards the sky and broke past the sea-clouds only to evade a whip attack from the chain spikes. I had sensed it once it got into my range and thanks to my reaction speed, dodging it was a piece of cake. 7 layered shields blocked a slash from the axe part of the Stormbreaker. I used the force behind it to whirl away and try to construct ropes around the giant. Unfortunately my speed was too slow and I backed away after shielding another attack. The only reason I was still standing, was because of my reaction speed and the fact that Enel fought like a brute. There was no form to his attacks. Despite that fact however, I still hadn''t hit him and I was getting a little bit frustrated. "I expected more from you. I can''t believe I ever thought of you as a threat! Hahaha." He laughed. "Tch, you haven''t seen nothing yet." I knew better than to respond to him but damn, I just couldn''t stop myself. I channeled blue some more, quickly alternating between it and red. "It''s time to be more pro-active." Orange constructs, began forming around me. When everything else fails, you fight a giant with another giant. The limbs began forming and I was wary of an attack from Enel but nothing came. Seems like he was content to let me power up first before beating me to prove a point. That would be his undoing. I straightened up to my full 100 meters against his 150. My Avatar construct was still smaller than his but with the increased size I finally hoped I could at least hit him. I maintained it mentally and channeled red to coat it''s entirety. My Avatar looked like a giant man with blocky features and for a second there I cringed. A good first try though, having never done this before. We faced one another, each gauging the other''s strength. My observation haki picked up on a lightning strike coming for me. It hit my Avatar and harmlessly dissipated along it''s length. Enel snorted and swung his chain at me. It wrapped itself around my wrist and I grabbed tightly on to it. I pulled and the massive Susanoo was pulled along. I started to swing the chain round and round before I threw him towards the upper yard. He crashed through the trees, leaving a dust cloud behind and loud noise before he got up. In a fast motion I found a fist encased in a spiked chain, heading towards my Avatar''s face but I blocked it with my Avatar''s fore arms. Having coated the whole Avatar construct in red to enhance it''s agility, His speed was less overwhelming now. "You''re not stronger than me!" He shouted as we got into a slug-fest. A slug-fest I was unfortunately losing. He was still way faster than me and if it wasn''t because of how compact and tough I had made the Avatar, I wouldn''t be able to fight back. Skill bridged the gap between our speeds even more and I got in a few lucky shots. They weren''t doing anything though and I hoped that the stress from the mangekyou sharingan would overwhelm him enough that he dropped the Susanoo. One thing I hadn''t foreseen though, after fighting him for over 5 minutes was that my Overdrive was halfway to it''s limit. I couldn''t wait anymore for him to drop the Susanoo so I had to come up with a plan and fast. I grabbed the handle of the Stormbreaker and threw him on the ground over my shoulder. He changed into a streak of lightning and tried to impale me with a hand coated in lightning from behind. The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement. My shield''s stopped it and I whirled around with a kick. He streaked again and pounded a fist to my mid-section, throwing me back. We looked at each other, having reached a stalement. He was breathing heavily and the Susanoo started fading from around his body. I quickly constructed a gun and shot at him, whilst he was down on his knees. "Argh!" He flashed around me In even faster speed and I hastily brought up dozens of more guns around me, which was the limit of my precision. Red construct bullets started flying around, trying to hit the slippery bastard. Lightning attacks fell down ceaselessly but ultimately ineffective against me. I dropped my avatar construct but kept an active shield around me. Enel finally slumped down on the ground. Bleeding from his eyes and belly. "Dammit, I still can''t keep it up for long." He muttered softly. I dismissed the construct firearms and directed my shield to hover infront of him. I wanted to kill him quickly to stop any more surprises from springing up but I had some things to ask him. "How did he know I would be here? My multiversal ability is completely random¡" I stopped as I came to realization. "It''s not is it? He can''t fully manipulate it to take me to a dangerous place like war hammer 40k but it''s enough if he subtly guides me to a warzone between a god and demigod. That''s the reason why all the places I have ended up in had stronger foes when compared to me. No¡it still doesn''t make sense. Those places also made me stronger, which is something I''m guessing he doesn''t want. This makes no sense!" Enel started laughing. "Hahaha, what makes you think you can figure out his plans? He gave me enough power to be a god! And I will not fail in ending your existence!" He was raving mad at this point. "He did something to you too¡didn''t he? I don''t know the kind of person you were before but think about it. Were you always this unhinged?" I asked him. He was silent for a while, head bowed, one hand on his belly and the other hanging loosely on the side. "So what? Hahaha. I get to do whatever I want! So who cares if my sanity is eroded? Being a god, I get to make the rules and I say sanity is overrated." A blue light appeared on the tip of his finger. He dragged it to the ground and a large blast of lightning slammed into my bubble shield from the ground, how is that even possible? I asked myself. The dust was obscuring my sight but with my observation haki, nothing would escape my senses. I idly wondered why Enel hadn''t been using mantra, to dodge some of my attacks. Could it be that he didn''t know how to use it effectively? He had used it in a few instances but not all dodgeable attacks. All the abilities he had were after all someone else''s, so it wasn''t a stretch to say that he excelled in using some but failed when using others. I jumped back after a dangerous feeling gripped my senses. Black flames suddenly covered my shields and shockingly enough started burning through them. "Amaterasu?!" I discarded the shields to isolate the flames and flew upwards. Things just got dire. With Enel''s speed, Amaterasu would definitely land and burn me to ashes. "Hahaha why are you running away? Come and get a taste of the ever-burning flame!" The shields I had covered myself in were quickly getting burnt, and I had to replace them continuously. I knew I couldn''t keep this up due to the mental fatigue of using Orange in such a way. "Fuck!" I shouted when my coat caught on fire. I quickly threw it away and encased my backpack in a construct before sending it away from me. If it got destroyed, I would lose the fruits inside that were the main reason I was doing any of this in the first place. "Why does this always happens?! That''s it, time to end this. I don''t want to interrogate him anymore. Omnitrix delete the Amazonian d.n.a." I said, planning to copy and intergrate the sharingan. To put him down for good, I needed to hit him with something that would one-shot him, without giving him a chance to pull out any more tricks from his ass. The sharingan thing had been almost too much for me to handle without going all out, I didn''t want to find out he was a Saiyan or something. "Overdrive second form:heatwave." The familiar rush of power coursed through my veins but I wasn''t done yet. I brought out the Omnitrix dial on my chest and pressed it to transform into a god-killer. The radius of my body produced heat instantly disappeared and I bulked up. My clothes felt too tight on me and a bio-electric aura encased my form. I started levitating and dismissed the shield''s surrounding me burning with Amaterasu. "Final dusk" I didn''t know how powerful I was at that moment but I knew I could break Hancock in half if I wanted to. The name felt appropriate for what I was about to do. I breathed in and shot towards Enel. Too me it felt as if he was moving in thick liquid as he shot a blast of black lightning from his eyes. This guy is actually kind of a genius, I thought as I ripped off his arms. He might have figured out a way to combine Amaterasu with his devil fruit powers but I was too fast for him now. "Maybe you were onto something. Overwhelming power really does trump all" I said but didn''t give him the chance to talk. I dismissed the text-box that had sprung up infront of me and thrust a hand through Enel''s chest. I then brutally ripped him in two. His organs went flying and I felt momentarily nauseous. I looked at my hands and marveled at my strength. It had felt effortless, like tearing through air. Thinking quickly I brought out yellow and wished for the rumble rumble fruit''s essence to reform into one of the fruits I had in my back pack. A yellow light started glowing from my backpack and I called it to me, using a construct. I opened the zip and inside the backpack along with a change of clothes, toiletries and 3 apples was a blue fruit with small swirling black marks. I breathed out a sigh of relief and just as I was about to check the Omnitrix, a bright ball of golden light manifested above Enel''s corpse. Instantly, I felt something calling for me. My soul and body and mind and all I was, was screaming at me to touch it. I cautiously stretched out a hand and made contact. My world exploded in pain as I heard sinister gleeful laughter in my head. "Finally, you''re mine." Spirit Lock "That was your plan? Use a Spirit Lock on a mortal? That is a divine construct to imprison gods by utilising the supressing nature of their divinity''s direct opposite. Fire for water, Light for darkness.. " "I know what it does! I programmed it, however, for a different purpose." The blonde woman''s eyes widened a little bit. "You¡don''t tell me you did what I think you''re implying." The Overseer''s face twisted into a devious smirk. " I used the spirit lock to chain his soul and continuously erode it to the point that by the end of a month, Mr.Wentworth will be nothing but an empty vessel." "That is forbidden! If the others catch wind of this we''re done for! Argh, I knew I should have stopped you before you went too far." She said massaging her forehead. The Overseer had a surprised look on his face at the woman''s outburst. His face took on a serious face right afterwards. "You do remember what is at stake here, right? Let me tell you something, left alone that mortal, you dismiss so quickly will be my end. I finally figured out why I can''t see him. His fate and mine are intertwined and at the end only one of us will survive. I am vital to the plan in ways, that everything will fall apart if I die! I had to change the timeline for god''s sake!" The woman recoiled in shock. "What do you mean by that?" The Overseer clasped his hands together and adopted a contemplating pose. "Those bearing the mark of fate have always gone on to do great things. Revolutions, conquests, creation and destruction. Mr.Wentworth on the other hand is destined for much more than that. Because of him, the plan failed on the first time around. We lost and he was the one who tipped the scales to their favor. At that time I didn''t know how a mortal had risen up to affect a war of the most powerful beings in all of existence. So I took over the position in this dump. A world where the only saving grace is being near the Nexus, hence the mortals in it acquiring a psychic feedback on other worlds and spreading them around as entertainment." The woman listened raptly as a dawning realization gripped her. "That''s why you pushed for the position of Overseer you wanted to pay attention to him." "Yes, and when I looked at his fate all I saw was that if he lived out his life and died finally of cancer, ''He'' took his soul and immortalized it as one of his champions. A couple of Eras down the line, a new ascended being rises up. Stronger than all of us." The woman was now gripping her arm rest in fear. The Overseer as if, oblivious to all that went on to say, "So I subtly manipulated him, to kill himself but when he jumped, the damned mark intervened and a freaking meteor killed him before he could go splat on the ground and so¡" "You had to compensate him because according to the ancient laws, any direct death caused by a conceptual or ascended being is liable for review from the Primus of the wheel of life and death. You didn''t want her to see the mortal and recognize his importance, so you gave the mortal a few downgraded benefits and sent him off to the multiverse while also hiding him from any prying eyes except for yourself." The woman deduced the rest. The Overseer leaned back on his chair and sighed. "Problem is, he began to grow stronger faster. So l locked down the one world he could gain the power to oppose me before I had a plan to take him down. all I saw was nothing. I looked into his future again and all I saw was nothing. I can''t look into it again or it will alert ''him'' so I just hope, The spirit lock will do its job well." "What do you mean by hope?" "The energy I left behind to track him has also been affected by the spirit lock. He''s invisible to me now." (Chris P.O.V) The pain went on seemingly forever as I felt some alien vital part of me, dying. My partial awareness of my body showed that nothing was wrong with it. However a glowing outline of my body appeared in my mind with golden chains inscribed with runes along it''s length, which shackled it and started feeding on it''s light. Every second that the chains dug deeper onto my skin, the outline faded a little bit more. Just as I was about to lose hope, a black color exploded from my Mutant gene and expanded to form a cocoon around me. Darkness finally claimed me.If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. (General P.O.V) The whole world was in an uproar. Fire fist the 2nd division commander of the whitebeard pirates had been captured by the Marines. The story went that admiral Aokiji had stumbled upon his whereabouts and after a successful fight, with him winning because of being the natural counter to Ace, had taken him prisoner. On Chris'' side the cocoon surrounding him had changed position and he was now in an obscure jungle island. (Chris P.O.V) I woke up to the sight of tall trees in my vision. My head was pounding with a killer migraine And I looked around frantically for my back pack before seeing it lying next to me. I tried to remember what had happened and apart from the battle with the fake Enel, all I could recall was loud sinister laughter. I channeled a little green to my head and the headache alleviated. Now, down to the facts, Rod had sent someone to kill me, but that person had failed, he had also left behind something¡I couldn''t remember what it was though. I had also hopefully copied the sharingan¡maybe? I willed the textboxes, minimized at the edge of my vision to display themselves. [Detected d.n.a from a sub-species of human. Copied and saved.] -Option 1- intergrate. Incorporate the d.n.a into your body. Faces a 20% decrease in the d.n.a''s ability. Comes with an awakened one tomoe sharingan. Subsequent forms will be awakened depending on #_&(:5"$54&. -Option 2- fuse. Combine this d.n.a with another compatible one. All weaknesses will be removed. ALERT: Intergration will come with the introduction of a chakra system into the host''s body by a fusion of the spirit and the body. Proceed with caution. ''Ok, that''s not ominous at all'', I sweatdropped. "Omnitrix, any compatible d.n.a I can fuse with the Uchiha d.n.a?" "Negative." I sighed. Of course it can''t be that easy. I dismissed the text-box and another strange one came up. [New color awakened!] -black- Absorbs anything detrimental to the host below a certain value, then discharges it through the temporary manifestation of a random ability. Requires conscious use by the user and autonomous only when the user is unconscious. No benefits gained. Cannot work on normal biological functions and self inflicted harm. Can only absorb one thing at a time. Huh? This¡this was overpowered! After reading the text box a few more times, I laughed in happiness. Poisons and toxins were no longer effective on me anymore. Not that they were effective in the first place but my point still stands! Curses, illusions targeting the brain, hell even the force from a punch or kick. Although, the ability had limitations too. For starters, I wasn''t sure by what it meant by only working on things under a certain value. Not to mention the fact that I might draw a random ability of self-explosion. That said, it was still a great ability¡I wonder¡could it work in removing a devil fruit''s curse? Only one way to find out! I reached for the backpack, and removed the fruit. I dulled my sense of taste, through Bio-kinesis and took the first bite. Even with all of that, I still felt nauseated by the horrible taste it had. Imagine all the grossest things you''ve ever eaten, mash them all up together and then dial it all up to 11. Thankfully I finished and right under my skin I felt a web of power just begging to be used. I looked at my hand and flexed the power. It wasn''t as quick to respond I had initially thought, but streaks of purple lightning escaped my hand in flashes. I smiled and got into a position. The speed of lighting was mach 350. Having just gotten the ability I didn''t know how fast I was, but given past experience I knew I could clock at mach 300, more or less. I pushed myself forward and shot off. The trees at my front were decimated and I found myself in the air falling, after jumping off a cliff. I created my wings and hovered, gently flapping them and marvelling at the feel of strength coursing through my veins. I floated down to my previous position and sat down on a fallen tree. I now had the rumble rumble fruit. A fruit,Robin, had said was enough to make the user invicible. The weaknesses to sea water and kairoseki were the only disadvantages to the fruit. I also didn''t know if it would work outside the one piece world but that was far off into the future. I willed the black to get rid of the devil fruit weakness to sea water and suddenly a green eye appeared on my forehead. I started seeing visions of a world that lay in destruction and a group of people led by a man in blue¡is that superman? The Justice league! But there were some new additions, I saw myself and Supergirl fighting side by side. She smiled at me and I felt my heart skip a beat. Suddenly my mind started hurting and the last thing I saw before the vision cut off was Darkseid''s evil smirk. I was on all fours, crouching while breathing hard. "What...what was that?" I touched my forehead and the eye that had appeared there was gone. The black was dangerous. Imagine being in a fight and a random ability like that activates, you would be distracted and a powerful enemy would know to take advantage of that. No more black unless things are dire. I got up and surveyed the area. "Now that I think of it, where the hell I''m I?" Repaying a Favor Judging from the scenery around me, it was safe to say I wasn''t in skypiea anymore. The air was fresher and i could smell the ocean. I tapped my feet and started flashing around. Using soru to better familiarize myself with it plus look for any civilization around me. It took me 1 hour to scour the whole island and apart from the wildlife, there wasn''t any sentient beings around. The animals were also pretty subdued with rabbits and deers having a higher population as compared to predators like the tigers. I speculated that something had happened to me after my fight with fake Enel. Something that had caused the black to activate and the ability I had gained had teleported me to a relatively safe area. My first priority as of now was to try and get a place to stay for the night and something to eat. The sun was in the middle of the sky so I had enough time to do both. I had luckily come across a cave on the wall of the cliff I had jumped off earlier so that was one thing down. I looked at the clearing in my front, watching my target. With my speed, I blitzed, broke it''s neck and propped the deer''s body on my shoulders even before the others could react and run away. I then ran to the cave and cleared it out. A few minutes later I had meat roasting over a fire pit. I had yet to intergrate the Uchiha bloodline because of the fear that, if I introduced a chakra system into my body, I wouldn''t be able to have another internal power system. Ki in Dragonball is stronger than chakra without dispute. The only way I could know for sure if by intergrating chakra into me would not close other avenues was to get help from someone knowledgeable in both physical energy and spiritual energy. Apart from going to Naruto where I would be pulled into the war and where everyone would distrust me, my best bet was bleach. Urahara was the smartest man in the bleach world and if there was someone who could help me, then it was him. All I had to do was promise him my help in dealing with Aizen. So for the next five months, I would practice rokushiki and at this point I didn''t think I needed a haki teacher anymore. After awakening observation haki, all I had to do was get a feel for it and try armament haki. I couldn''t wait to try combining red enhancement with armament haki. For the night, I made a mattress construct and slept. The next morning rolled by and I started my work out routine. My base form was pretty weak when compared to the monsters in the one piece world. My speed was my strongest asset, and there was no issue there. What I had to work on was my strength, flexibility and stamina. For my stamina, I jumped into the ocean and tied rocks to my limbs with constructs then started swimming. I tested out my lung capacity and durability by diving deeper into the water where the pressure was crippling. Flexibility, I honestly had no idea how to go about it. What I did though was try to twist my body like Spiderman and navigate the terrain with only my base form. It didn''t work out very well though, so I put it on the back burner. Strength was achieved by encasing multiple stones in a construct then lifting them by using my construct as a sort of grip/holder. Once the afternoon rolled by, I could feel my muscles were strained but a quick channeling of green healed me up to normal. After another hearty meal, this time the meal accompanied by some fruits, I got down to practicing rokushiki. Soru was the ability I was most familiar with and after much deliberation, I decided not to focus on kami-e. I could already form shockwaves with my fist, so I had a clear plan on how to practice the Rokougan without mastering all the six powers. Tekkai was an ability that came about from tensing your muscles to make them as hard as iron, but one had to stay rooted in one place. Masters of it could probably ignore this disadvantage. Being a speed focused fighter, this was clearly not a skill for me, so I crossed it off the list too. Armament haki was even better at defense and it didn''t have such restrictions. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. In the evening, I caught a huge fish and after eating, I started my practice with haki. Haki, came from the spirit. I had already tapped into one of the three types and all I had to do now, was focus and change its application to make it coat my body in a layer of hardening. That said, it was hard. Like really really hard. That first night, all I could do was observation haki and nothing else. It got to the point where I decided to leave it be. Maybe I had overestimated myself a little. The next week, I continued with my exercise, upping things when I got used to the difficulty. I also started getting used to my devil fruit. I didn''t want to go down the path of fake Enel by jumping right on to electromagnetism without first mastering the basics. I had tried out my elemental form which let everything phase right through me. Basic attacks like lightning strike and god''s judgement were easy to do, because all I had to do was to point my attack and let loose. Complex applications like turning into a thunder giant were harder though and the sensory feedback I had gotten when using my observation haki in conjunction with the fruit was almost overwhelming. Everything was heightened and my reaction speed was just¡wow. I had geppo down now and although the speed was slow when compared to literally¡any of my other high speed movement skills, it was pretty exhilarating. I had tried to merge soru into geppo to create geppo-soru but I was still in stuck on the first step. Haki training was¡by far the slowest. I didn''t know if it was because my affinity for armament was bad or not but I still hadn''t managed to coat myself with it. My strength was getting upgraded quickly however. Almost too quickly. I wagered I could lift 60 tonnes in my base form and my speed was probably up to 6000 mph, I think. The speed aspect was probably because of the passive effect caused by the rumble rumble fruit. When active, I could probably manage mach 320 or so. All these figures were as a result of my quess work. I honestly had no idea how powerful I was now. It was the start of my fourth week when a pirate ship docked at my island. They had a skull that had cracks on it''s eye holes as a jolly roger. I didn''t recognize them but as they jumped off the ship, I found out they were here for restocking. I wasn''t good at picking up electromagnetic waves in the air like Enel yet. However, my passive sense picked up distress from inside the inner part of the ship. I wasn''t naive enough to think that all pirates were like Luffy and his crew. I could deduce from these pirates attitude that what they had chained up were slaves. I used Soru and quickly ended the ones on the island before flashing onto the ship. The Captain was startled and jumped back in fear. "What the¡who the fuck are you!" "No-one important just the guy who''s gonna kill you." They all looked at me for a second then burst out laughing. "Hahaha, oh yeah, you and what army." I shook my head. ''Generic villains, all the same.'' Without any more talking, I formed a scythe and mowed all of them down. This however, proved to be a dumb move. After killing the crew on the ship, there was no one left to sail the damn thing. Unless¡I proceeded down to the cells and freed all the prisoners. Fortunately, being a mix of both genders, there were some who knew how to sail a ship. I was curious as to why pirates were interested in slavery because usually they would be busy looting and killing but turns out that this ship had slaves meant for the celestial dragons. Catching a glimpse at their depravity made me disgusted at them. There were kids on the ship, for chrissake. Even if I didn''t do anything else, I would make sure to hurt them before I left this world. I hadn''t yet thought of leaving my practice island but I really needed a haki teacher. After spending 3 weeks practicing it without any luck, I had finally given up. I couldn''t do it alone. The only person I knew who could accommodate my request was Rayleigh. He was at Sabaody, an easy-going guy and not to mention very powerful. The other thing that changed my mind was a picture of Ace in a discarded newspaper. My hand gripped the newspaper tighter as I read on. Turns he had been captured by Aokiji. I sighed audibly and massaged my temple, a behavior I had to stop before it became habitual. Some things were probably meant to happen, like the time travel shenanigans theory from the flash. Luffy and his crew had helped me when I was at my weakest plus Ace was a cool guy, the least I could do was save his brother. I looked at the date and gritted my teeth even harder. His execution was slated for the next day and I didn''t know where I even was. "Damn it." The fastest man alive (General P.O.V) The war to free Ace had started with the clever diversion from the Whitebeard pirates. The Marine''s strategists had never in a million years expected the Moby dick to emerge from right under their noses. Sengoku was aware the heavy losses the Marines would incur from a fight with one of the four Yonko. Not to mention the fact that Whitebeard was the strongest man in the world. Whitebeard on the other hand, was ready for death. His only mission now was to save his son. The battle was pretty heated now with the pirates giving just as much as they were taking. The Marines had been emboldened especially after witnessing admiral Aokiji''s raw power. Things became unclear when a flying ship had crashed right into the middle of the battlefield with some individuals. The question about which side the new participants were part of, was answered when everyone saw the impressive line up of convicts from Impel down. The fact that Strawhat Luffy was shouting out loud Fire Fist Ace''s name, further cemented the fact that the pirates had just gotten some reinforcements. Everyone had mixed reactions but one thing was certain for all, a new player had just arrived. (Chris P.O.V) I still had no idea where I was, after the shock from finding out that Ace''s execution was still a thing I had left my island quickly. Fortunately, the slaves I had rescued had had a spy from the revolutionary army amongst them who had already contacted his comrades so I was assured they were in safe hands. He hadn''t disclosed the information to me however. I had overheard him, making a call on his transponder snail. So I gathered my bare essentials and started flying. The Grandline sure had strange weather. In the one hour I had been flying, I had been assaulted by hail storms, light rain and falling ash. I had no idea where the last one had even come from. The two islands I had landed at had offered me no clue as to my whereabouts. I didn''t have time to buy a log pose and wait for it to lock onto the next island. All I needed was a clear direction and I would fly to the end of the Grand line. Finally running out of options I diverted my course to the calm belt. I flew higher, aiming to avoid detection from the enormous sea kings that made the calm belt their home. Of course nothing ever goes well for me. A huge mountain like head emerged at my front blocking my way. I formed a drill around me and used my lightning speed to go right through it''s neck. Some might be wondering why I didn''t just go around it or even fly higher. Going around it was not an option due to its many friends surrounding us. Going higher would make me breach the clouds and I didn''t want to take the chance of losing my way due to the cover obscuring my sight. I emerged from the other side in a spray of blood and slipped into overdrive. My control over it had gone to the shitter because of my new devil fruit. When actively using lightning speed, I was at mach 320. Multiplied by Overdrive''s 10 times factor, I was supposed to go at a speed of around mach 3000, but in actual fact my body would still not handle that full speed without turning into a bolt of lightning. My control over the rumble rumble was not at the point of subconscious elementization(I don''t think it''s a word). So my speed was probably at mach 2000. That however didn''t mean I was slow. It was evidenced by the fact I could see a red wall that only got bigger by the second at my front. I slowed down once I saw an island, I speculated was Amazon Lilly and branched off to the left into the Grand line. I knew I was at the right place when I finally found myself infront of a massive gate, with the world government symbol on it. Whitebeard and his fleet had coated their ships to bypass the gates of Justice. For me? I flew over them and found myself amidst chaos. I was just in time to see Luffy get his ass handed to him by kizaru. ''Though, that was kind of a cheapshot kizaru.'' I thought. I didn''t wait for him to go into a spiel and insult Whitebeard so I smashed his face in with a well-timed kick. Or so I thought, I blocked a beam of yellow light with a shield but was soon surprised when it broke past my layered barriers. I blitzed out of the way as the battlefield in our immediate surroundings stopped briefly. "Ooh, that was so close." Kizaru said. I was a bit stumped at how someone could sound so dramatic, yet have such a laid back attitude. "Mmmh? Who are you?" I heard a gruff voice from behind me. I spared a glance at the ridiculously huge man with a bisento in his arms. "A friend of the Strawhats. I owe Luffy a favor, so I want to repay it by helping save Ace. It''s nice to finally meet you Whitebeard." "You''re that¡brat. The one who killed Teach." He said looking at me with a grave face. I nodded, tense. I knew Whitebeard wouldn''t attack me in such circumstances for killing someone who had broken his biggest rule, but, the very air around him, screamed danger. The foreboding feeling, I usually got when a threat towards me was near came back in full form. So distracted was I, that I almost missed the light sword aiming to bisect me in two. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it. I went into lightning form, and the sword passed right through me. I retaliated with a lightning bolt to the chest. "Ooh, so scary. You''re a logia fruit user huh?" "I am. I have heard a lot about you admiral Kizaru. Hailed as the fastest marine admiral. One might even say, the fastest man alive. Let''s put that to the test shall we?" "You praise me too much. However, your confidence is very dangerous, it might make me go all out." I chuckled. This guy was funny. "Let me go Old man! Chris! What are you doing here?" Huh? He could still speak? Talk about resilience. "Hey Luffy. I heard about Ace and decided to come help. You alright?" I didn''t wait for his response as I created a construct katana and blocked kizaru''s sword. "Oh oh oh, you''re pretty fast." He told me. I smirked and he dodged another construct katana from taking his head off. This katana was red in color, so it most assuredly would have worked. Kizaru jumped up and beams of light exploded from every part of his body aimed at me. ''I didn''t know he could do that''. I had half expected the laser beams to be at the speed of light but none of them came close. I grabbed the second Katana tightly and countered all the beams then got into a position. "Blitz Avenger." Kizaru expectedly leaned back and evaded my sure kill move but failed to block the kick to his middle section. I was still in overdrive and my fist was coated red so my attack had him spitting blood and slamming onto the ice-wall. Everyone stopped. Then they all started shouting in surprise. "Admiral Kizaru!" "Is the admiral alright?!" "Damn you pirate scum!" "This guy is strong!" "Yeah, give it to him Chris!" The last comment was from Luffy and it made me smile. I flapped my wings towards Kizaru and let loose a gigantic lightning attack not unlike Enel. The beam decimated the last remaining wall and screams of terrified Marines and pirates alike sounded as they escaped the falling ice. "Ara Ara, youngsters these days are so dangerous." A laugh burst out from me. His condition was pitiful. I hadn''t thought that I had grown powerful to the point of having Kizaru bleed and his striped suit a little scorched. How does one even affect light? "You look like a trainwreck Kizaru. You might have the speed of light but your reaction is pretty low." "Oh, but it takes more than that to take down an admiral." Saying that he crossed both his hands together and, "Yasakani no magatama." He muttered as thousands of light bullets rained upon me in a show of power befitting that of a god. "Chain lightning." Webs of lightning appeared around me and shot off to meet his attack head on. A shockwave of displaced air burst out from the clash and almost everyone was blown away. I felt more than saw Whitebeard succumb to his illness and Akainu gloating before his kneeling form "The ravages of time¡" before Akainu could continue I unleashed an attack I hadn''t used before. "Death by a thousand" a barrage of red construct weapons assailed him. Death by a thousand was a technique I had come up with that worked on the principle of manifesting cold weapons and coating them with red to enhance their durability, speed and sharpness. The technique begun with, Death by a hundred which manifested guns that fired rubber bullets at opponents for crowd control and ended with death by a million where I manifested millions of yellow tiny and sharp blades then enhanced them with red and coated by lightning. It had started off as a means to practice my control but had evolved into a proper skill. Akainu with his massive arrogance got his chest and belly pierced by two of the swords before using soru to escape. Kizaru pulled back his leg and a large beam of light decimated the rest of the weapons, I had tried to manipulate to attack him. I had to close my eyes because of the light and relied on my observation haki to make out his whereabouts. I jumped away from where I had been and a massive crater was created by Akainu''s fist. His face was red with anger and killing intent burst out of him. Now infront of me I was facing 2 marine admirals. Aokiji was caught up fighting Jozu and Marco, who had saved Jozu from getting his body frozen like a popsicle. Whitebeard was catching a breather and Luffy was nowhere to be seen. "That wasn''t haki. Your abilities may be strange but nothing will stand in the way of absolute justice." His wounds had stopped bleeding and apart from the slight tears on his suit, he looked none the worse for wear. A complete contradiction to Kizaru. "Kizaru, if you hadn''t decided to be lazy and get serious, I wouldn''t be forced to clean up your mess." "Don''t get mad at me, this guy is very powerful." ''Should I end this fast?'' I asked myself. It wasn''t a smart move to play around with 2 marine admirals. Especially Akainu. That man was ruthless in both his words as well as his actions. It''s decided then. No more playing around. The Omnitrix dial appeared on my chest. "God-killer." The familiar incredible rush of power returned. My body got bigger and taller, though not to the level of the admirals yet. I extended my bio-electric aura and a peculiar thing happened. All around me pebbles and debris started rising from the ground in a 50 meter radius. "Mmmh, wow. You just got even more dangerous." Kizaru commented, his face still lazy. I could however detect a trace of uneasiness in his eyes. This was the same man who had wanted to go to Wano after hearing about big mom''s and Kaido''s alliance. For someone like him to be worried showed how things were about to get dire for them. Akainu, however wasn''t fazed, instead he was in the mood for blood. I guess they don''t call him the red dog for nothing. "Now then, you both have 2 options. Let me through or no more kiddie gloves." I, of course knew they wouldn''t listen. What none of us, didn''t expect was for Whitebeard to smash his fist towards Akainu suddenly though. The air broke around his fist and for the first time, I saw the world break. Kizaru gets serious and new age? "He''s mine." Whitebeard bit out. His bisento slashed out at Akainu and they started fighting. Kizaru on the other hand had his hands out of his trouser pockets. No more talking was needed. One step and we were clashing up in the air. His reflexes were much better now that he wasn''t playing around. In my God-killer form, although his speed was equal to mine, he hadn''t had any luck in actually hurting me. He was clearly much more experienced in hand to hand combat than me though. We jumped backwards in the air and his hands changed into a black color. He extended the armament haki till the elbows and flashed infront of me in an even faster speed. I blocked his punch by crossing my hands together and a light sword crashed onto my back. He had attacked me simultaneously. I shrugged it off and attempted to punch him. My hand went through his body but the afterimage faded into the air and this time when the light sword landed on my neck, I felt it burn my skin. A bubble shield erupted from me and pushed him and his speed clones away. That''s right, seems like Kizaru had been hiding some very nifty tricks away. Three Kizaru''s were floating a bit away from me. "Your skin is very tough. If one sword couldn''t break through it, what about three?" "Two, can play that game Kizaru. Death by a million." God-killer, in the position I was now, only helped me with my durability and strength. Kizaru had me outmatched when it came to speed. So I had to go the path of Byakyuya Kuchiki. Red rose petals started drifting around me, leaving slashes on whatever the came into contact with. The pirates below us, who had been waiting for a chance to get a piece of Kizaru backed away. Kizaru gestured and his clones flashed to both of my sides. "Yasakani no magatama." Light missiles boxed me in from 3 different directions. I constructed a katana on my hand and started directing the flow of the petals to surround me. Times like this, made me feel grateful for my powers. It was exhilarating controlling something with just your thought. The light missiles slammed into a tornado of red rose petals and dissolved into nothing. The three Kizaru''s were on me in an instant, too fast for my rose petals of death to engulf and kill him. I started parrying the attacks aimed at my vitals while the death by a million roses guarded me from the long range attacks. Kizaru''s speed was increasing as time went on and I also had to start channeling the red to enhance my speed. (General P.O.V) Everyone was momentarily dazed, watching the flashing beams of 3 yellow light beams crashing with a red streak that had occasional flashes of purple lightning in the air. This spectacle presented the pinnacle of devil fruit mastery. Though only a few knew that the red streak''s power didn''t entirely come from a devil fruit. The fleet admiral, had a tense look on his face from his position on the execution platform. Ace, on the other hand gritted his teeth, in pain at seeing his friends and family suffer, all in the mission to save him. He couldn''t hide the slight hope budding inside him upon Chris'' appearance. "Dai funka!" Admiral Akainu was trading blows with whitebeard and although he was weaker powerwise, his resilience more than made up for it. But, even as he fought the strongest man in the world, he couldn''t stop paying attention at the lightshow happening above them all. The pirates and Marines as a collective were all left wide-eyed in shock before their need to preserve their lives returned in full force. Vista was stuck wondering who it was using a stronger version of his own skill but he ultimately could not do anything about it. "Aaaahh! Aceeee!" Luffy''s shout roused some of the ones still in shock and Coby shaved to his position to intercept him. After getting another hormone shot from Ivankov, Luffy was ready for round 2 and single-minded in his mission to rescue his big brother. Coby got a punch to his face for his trouble. Luffy continued on running and when things got dire, a wave of conquerors haki emanated from him. The wave sent many of the Marines falling down, unconscious. It also picked the interest of the peak powerhouses in the battlefield. This naturally included Chris. (Chris P.O.V) ''luffy'' I thought stopping. Kizaru did the same and we both turned our gaze to the boy in the yellow vest and red shorts running amidst fallen Marines. Inazuma constructed a bridge and Luffy jumped on it and started running up. I knew what was coming so I turned to attack Kizaru. If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it.My petals surrounded him and shredded everything inside into little pieces. "That was close." To my left a leg covered in haki made its way to my head instantly. I craned it backwards and it harmlessly went over it. Then I dogded another kick sent to my belly and took a punch to my face that did nothing to me. " This is going nowhere Kizaru. You''re faster than me but you also can''t hurt me, why don''t we stop this charade?" "I''m a marine." I nodded at his curt answer. ,''I''ll have to use that.'' "Overdrive second form: heatwave." Instantly the whole world grew silent. Kizaru was also frozen in place though his body went into a guarded mode and started turning into light. I strolled right at him and punched him right on his belly. I then floated down and got some kairoseki handcuffs before taking them and putting them on his hands. Whitebeard''s Bisento was aimed at Akainu who had his hand out in it''s magma form. I took my Katana and slashed both of his hands off but didn''t kill him. Aokiji''s ice was clashing with Marco''s Phoenix fire, in a stalement. To tell you the truth Aokiji was a pretty good guy so I didn''t do anything to him. After Sengoku retires and given Akainu''s future armless form, he''d probably become the next fleet admiral. Garp was blocking off Luffy''s path to his brother, so I kicked him through the hole he had used to break the stone bridge. Had it been someone else, they would probably be turned into mush but it being Garp, he would just walk it off. Sengoku was standing next to a chained up Ace. A quick tug at his beard and I threw him far away into the residential area. I broke Ace''s kairoseki chains and slipped out of heatwave and into mayhem. Kizaru crashed out of the air and onto the ground with his face. Akainu cried out as both his arms fell off his shoulders in a spray of blood before he turned into his magma form. Garp crashed on the ground and a 50 meter crater formed around the impact point. A huge Buddha figure appeared in the residential area before Sengoku tried to make his way back. Luffy had a surprised look on his face before smiling and continuing to run towards us. "What¡I''m free?" Ace looked around and saw me. Understanding came to him and he stood up, "Thank you Chris." I nodded. "Don''t mention it." "Ace!" "Luffy!" The two brothers met with Luffy crying tears of joy. I wished that in canon that''s how it had happened too, but without my Intervention, things would have gone bad. "Flame commandment: Fire pillar." Ace jumped off and a tornado of fire surrounded his form. The tornado merged into a fire pillar that assaulted the Marines gathered at the base of the execution platform. "I never thought a day would come where you would help in trying to save me." "Shishishi, Chris really came through for us, huh" Ace smiled. "Yeah he did. Hiken!" More Marines were thrown away but I was pre-occupied with the glowing Buddha palm that was currently aiming to smash Luffy and Ace to a pulp. A large palm construct surrounded me, glowing red and intercepted Sengoku''s blow. The shock wave from the contact of both palms sent debris flying around us. Sengoku had a furious look on his face when he shouted, "Whoever you are, get ready to answer for your actions!" My shields absorbed the force and instead of dispersing it, I did a trick I had been working on since the time I had found out the mechanics of my shields, I absorbed it and transferred all the force to my other arm then punched at Sengoku''s crossed hands. He got pushed back and landed on the wall behind him. "Chris!" "Go on ahead Luffy, get your big brother to the ship." I told him, though I was still looking at Sengoku. "I''m surprised you got back here so fast fleet Admiral." "Garp, get your lazy ass up!" He said while extracting himself from the cracked wall. Garp made his way out of the crater and stood next to him. "Your speed, is the fastest I have ever seen. Faster than even Kizaru, but, it seems like you can''t keep it up. So let''s see you avoid my fist of love!" He charged at me in soru, though I could tell he wasn''t as mad as he tried to show. I traded a few blows with him and even in my God killer form, his punches stung. My timer in the God killer form was coming to an end so I decided to do the last thing on my list before leaving to find Rayleigh. I broke off from our battle and floated suspended in the air. The thing I was about to do, would ensure that the Marines would be too distracted with me to continue chasing Ace. " Everyone stop. This battle is over!" I enhanced my voicebox with the red so my voice was very loud. At my first statement, they all grew quiet and started to look up at me. "The root of this war is not caused by Ace''s father being Gol.D. Roger. It''s a ploy by the world government to kill off any adventurous spirit by destroying a symbol of their greatest fear, a man who inspired many to dream for a new age." I stopped and saw they were all paying attention to me. " Stop fighting and look at the world for a second. The Marines, keepers of Justice, serve the celestial dragons who treat people like playthings and cause suffering everywhere they go. Pirates are notorious yes, some are evil but others just want freedom. Likewise, Marines are decent yes ,but, some like admiral Akainu are ruthless and no different from the pirate scum they fight. These decent Marines and pirates are however few and hold no real power. For if they did, the first thing they would do is try to make the world a better place. What I''m about to do, is usher in a new age. An age that will no longer be a dream. That age starts with the end of the celestial dragons."
