 Chapter 1: I got transported to another world?

    Arc 1: The Beginning

    Aehiria ¨C a world where magic and fantasy-like things actually exist, and the science there is not that developed compared to Earth. There are 3 empires in that world, Quieme, the one empire that has the best swordsmen worldwide. The second Empire is Velvet, who their population specializes in every kind of magic that exists. The last one is Libertis, and they have the best merchants you could find.


    However, even this world, which may sound like it''s peaceful and that they have no problems, the people of this world have been fighting monsters for around one thousand years, and the reason for that is because suddenly the Demon Lord appeared.


    At that time, the 3 empires didn''t have a lot of powerful people, because up to that point before the Demon Lord appeared, the world there was very peaceful.


    He first summoned his lackeys from the Demon Realm, so that humankind could become a little stronger before facing him, otherwise it wouldn''t be that entertaining for him, to simply massacrate everyone, without a bit of a struggle from their part.


    So, after a few years of humans killing his subordinates, humanity finally had some elites that excelled in their field, a knight, a mage , an archer, and a paladin.


    Nevertheless, just those 4 weren''t enough to defeat him, so obviously, the three of kingdoms had to come to an agreement, and gather their best men to form the subjugation team to kill the Demon Lord. In the end, they had gathered around 250 very talented and youthful men and women.


    Even then, the demon king was very strong and they couldn''t win without making some sacrifices. When they finished killing him, only about 30 people remained standing. A mess was behind them, pools of blood, women''s, men''s, children''s corpses, it was truly a scene that you could only find in a horror movie. The reason for this was because he blackmailed them to fight close to a city as it wouldn''t be that enjoyable for him unless he killed a lot of people.

    As he said this, particles of light came out of his body and he quickly vanished. Some of the citizens were cheering because the Demon King finally died, some of them cried because they lost their loved ones in the battle and remaining people were way too confused or broken to even react.

    Today is Sunday, and my day up until now started just like usual. I am going to the convenience store to buy a premade bento as my dinner for today and when I get back to my apartment I''m going to start watching the new anime that was airing this season.


    As I walked down on the streets, I could tell that something felt off. I don''t know what''s going to happen but I have a bad feeling about it.


    While I was trying to shake off the bad feeling that I was getting, I finally arrived at the convenience store.


    This convenience store wasn''t that far away from my apartment, and it had everything you would need. From school stuff to food, and even electronics. As I went inˇ­

    A clerk welcomed me, but I just ignored them and walked to the place where the bentos were.


    I just took a random bento that was on the shelf, and I saw that it was a chicken cutlet one. That should do it as my dinner for today, I also went to buy some drinks.


    I went to the counter to pay and it cost me about 1300 yen. I paid with 1500 yen and got a 200 yen change back.

    The girl said, while the boy quickly glared at me for a moment before realizing that it was not my fault at all and that I had no interest in his girl.

    I said, while I gave a light bow and walked back to my home. The girl looked surprised for a moment but she quickly brushed it off and continued walking alongside the boy.


    But, at that moment, something appeared on the paved road. It looked like a magic circle out of an anime. I suppose, you could call this a "situation" where the 3 of us get transported to another world.


    After thinking of all that, I looked back at the couple. They were also looking at me, while having confused looks on their faces.


    The so called "magic circle" started growing brighter and brighter, until I couldn''t keep my eyes open and had to put my arm in front of my eyes because it was just that blinding.


    And at the same time I felt very nauseous, it was a feeling that I often get when I go on a car or a train. When this feeling gradually went away, the light that came from the magic circle also subsided.


    When I finally could open my eyes without having to cover my eyes, what I saw was a 16 year girl that looked like some kind of princess, and behind her were some suspicious looking men that wore robes, which hid their faces.

 Chapter 2: They introduce themselves

    ""Eh?""


    The girl and the boy whose names I don''t know, gazed at the blonde girl, while having dumbfounded looks on their faces. Meanwhile, I just kept my usual expressionless face, although I do think that this situation is very bizarre. I mean, who would suddenly expect to get transported to another world. Others may have gotten happy about being in this situation, while others may have gotten angry or surprisedˇ­ But, I honestly didn''t care that much about it, although I am kinda sad that I didn''t have a chance to watch the anime that was airing today.


    "So? Why have you called us in this world?"


    I said so in a rather cold voice, and everyone in the room looked confused for a moment. Probably because of my tone, or the way I said it. After a few moments of silence, the blonde girl regained her composure, and called out to us.


    "Ahem, I''m really sorry for suddenly calling you here, but we honestly need your help. Our-"


    She got interrupted by a person that was wearing a robe, and they told something to her. Soon, she continued talking to us.


    "Ahhh, that''s right, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Alice Velvet, and I am the second princess of the Empire Velvet. We have transported you here, beacuse we would ask you 3 to defeat the demon king. He is gonna revive in 5 years and we will need to fight with him. He already massacrated us 1000 years ago and still continues to torments us even to this day."


    "What the hell?"


    As Alice finished saying this, the girl said this at once.

    The boy however, had a relatively calm expression, as he tried to calm down Rei. He''s appearance is similar to those ikemen you would often see in anime and manga. He has a relatively short haircut, his hair was blonde, he had a undeniably handsome face, light brown eyes.


    "Everyone please calm down."


    Alice said that in a rather loud voice, asking them 2 to calm down.


    "Once you have killed the Demon King, you can either choose to remain in this world, or you can return back to your Original World. Fortunately, if you choose to go back, these 5 years and more than you will pass here will be only one moment for you. We have made a contract with the goddess, and so, we can offer you this offer, naturally if you choose to stay in this world we will give you a huge amount of money so that you can live a good life. This is one of the few good things about me. They did say that I was pretty smart, and that I could do well in life. Hahahaˇ­ I laughed in my mind in a self mocking manner while waiting for Alice''s response to my question.


    "That''s because you 3 are the most qualified people for this request. We have no power over who we can bring, that''s all left to the Magic to decide. It can either be because you guys are smart, either you have a lot potential, or because, something that will happen in this world would change you or those around you. There are a lot of many other things that the Magic Circle could choose from. But I can''t really say based on which one it choose you. Anyway, leaving that side, why don''t you all introduce yourselves?"


    "I see. That makes sense."


    "Then I''ll go first! I''m Rei Shibata, I''m in my second year of high school, basically I''m 16 years old. My hobby is fashion of course, as you can see, from my beautiful choice of clothes.     "In the first place, you guys are my kouhai right? I don''t necessarly have to speak to you with honorifics. Speaking of talking with respect, that''s what you should do instead of me. Second of all, I have no intention of getting along with you all, but that doesn''t mean that I won''t take part in the subjugation though. Sounds pretty fun to finally kill some fucks. I''m not attached to the previous world per se, but I would prefer watching anime instead of living in a place like this. Seems similar to the medevial ages, so the only fun thing would be to train and kill monsters, right? I''m saying this right now, for all of you to hear. I am going to be the one killing the Demon King. He is my prey, and I won''t let any of you touch him."


    I said this in an arrogantly manner, but I seriously meant that. The Demon King will be killed by me. Everything that happened till now sounds like a fun game. Hahahahaha.


    "Pretty arogant aren''t we? Oh, sorry, I should have spoken to my ''Senpai'' with respect, right?"


    "Both of you, calm down. Let''s leave all of this behind and continue talking about the matters at hand."


    As me and Rei were verbally abusing each other, Haruto quickly stepped between us. Speaking of which, Alice had a really astonished look on her face that I thought was pretty funny.


    "Ahem. Right. I should introduce you to the Emperor and the Empress and we''ll go on from there. Ah, I also forgot to introduce my trusted friends and subordinates."


    As she said that, she quickly started introducing the 3 people who were being hid by robes.


    "This is Sara and she is my most trusted maid. She has been serving under me for a few years already and she''s very capable. If you need anything, you can ask her and she''ll help you."

She looked as if she was in her 20s, she had a relatively semi long black hair and had black eyes.


    "Greetings, my name is Sara. As my master said I''m her maid. If you need help with anything, please ask me anytime."


    She gave what I could call a lovely smile and bowed once again.


    "The second person I want to introduce you is actually the best mage in the world in this century. Her name is Yui, and she is the one who is going to teach you guys how to use magic."


    She whispered "I''m really not the bestˇ­." in a very low voice, coughed once and thenˇ­.


    "Hello, I''m Yui. And as Princess Alice said, I am going to be the one who will teach you how to use magic."


    As she took off her robe, I saw a relatively short girl, I''d say that she is about 160cm tall. She has light orange hair and light blue eyes. Based from her looks alone, if she was in japan, I''d say that she is a middle schooler. So, because curiosity got better off me, I decided to ask her.


    "Hey, are you about, 9 years old?"


    That''s what I said, I had no ill intentions behind my innocent question, but when she heard that she quickly began to look annoyed.


    "No! I''m 17 years old this year! Why do you think that I look like a kid?!"


    She said that as she began to quickly blush and by each second she started to get even more pissed off. I guess I ''stepped'' on a landmine there. Damn.


    "Well, it''s because you look like one? What do you expect me to say? That you look like a goddamn 20 year old with that body? Come on, get real."


    "What did you say?!"


    Yui said that as if she finally snapped. Besides Yui, apparently Rei disliked it too and also decided to join in on the ''fun''.


    "Hey! Stop acting so fucking full of yourself, man. You''re really pissing me off!"


    "Yes, I do think that you''ve went too far but let''s all calm down, okay?"


    Rei quickly swore at me and Alice also jumped in to attack me. Or more like calm things down. But anyway, I don''t see why I shouldn''t counter attack, so I may as well.


    "Yeah, just shut up, bitch. I told you to speak to your senpais with respect. Also, could you stop acting please? You pretend like you are a ''good'' and ''cute'' girl in front of your boyfriend. But the only thing you''re doing right now is to break off that image of yours."


    As she heard my words, she quickly began blushing. Andˇ­.


    "Who is my boyfriend?! Haruto and I are nothing like that!"


    She shouted this, and Haruto began looking a bit sad.


    "Oh, so you two aren''t a couple? Damn, that''s tough. Just get together already."


    I said this and Haruto quickly replied while blushing.

    This time, it was Rei who seemed sad. By the way, Yui still glared at me but decided to stopped bickering with me and took a few deep breaths. Probably, because she thought she couldn''t beat me in arguments.


    "Anyway, we''re getting side tracked. Here is the last person I want to introduce to you, this is Chika. She''s my very good friend and she is also a prodigy at magic."


    Chika quietly took off her robe and looked at us. She had pretty short pink hair, and pink eyes. Her gaze didn''t divulge any emotions as she quietly said.


    "Nice to meet you, I''m Chika."


    Alice quietly stared at her, as if telling Chika with her gaze to add more to her introduction, but apparently Chika didn''t want to.


    "Nice to meet you Chika, Yui and Sara. Let''s get along."


    Prince charming said that as he gave a radiant smile. Rei didn''t look too happy about that but decided not to comment about it.


    "Hey, let''s get along."


    And she quietly said that as she gave them a glare for a split second.


    "Yo."


    I said that and Alice decided to continue what she had to say.


    "Alright, now that everyone introduced themselves, let''s get going to the King''s Throne room."
