《Destroyer Of The Gods (DOTG)》 Prologue On December 12th, 2034, In a lab somewhere on Earth, A redhead scientist exclaimed: "Yes! This is it. With this, Earth would be transmitting signals to over 2000 light-years in the Universe". In the same month the next year, a large spaceship enough to cover the entirety of America hovered above Earth, which people only saw in fiction. Some were terrified and terror-stricken but some were exuberant. The spaceship declared in a robotic voice. "Greetings, primitive humans! This is the Hatshepsut District. We found your Solar System, thanks to the signal which reached out. Earthlings, you will be given three choices: Either become a part of us or join your planet in the Alliance or deny them both and get ready for a war." These words gave a chill to the spine of every person on Earth. These words confused all the humans on the planet and everyone were asking for answers from their respective governments. Later, the spaceship was described to the public as an alien aircraft trying to communicate with earthlings. Humans succeeded in finding extraterrestrial beings in a different solar system from ours. Every earthling anticipated the new "aliens" to be giant bugs or octopus-headed freaks but to their astonishment, the so-called "aliens" were but humans! These extraterrestrial beings were way too technologically advanced than earthlings. A huge gap that could not even be filled after a century of research. Nuclear weapons, earthlings used to jut about were nothing but fireworks for the humans of the ''Hatshepsut District of Planets'' located in the Milky Way Galaxy. Earthlings would have been destroyed by other planets if not for the laws and rules set up by the Multiverse Alliance (an alliance created by Universe-Kingdoms to stop newfound planets to be destroyed). We had to register Earth with the alliance to keep it safe from collisions by the different planets or civilizations as Earth was one of those planets with a peaceful atmosphere and abundant resources. But registering Earth with the MA wasn''t an easy task as we had to pay a hefty amount of resources for the protection from other planets or terrorist''s organizations. After getting recognized by the MA, Earth had gone a complete development technologically, politically and socially. The hierarchy system was developed, where nobles and royals used to plunder their social advantages. People gained superhuman abilities by altering their DNA from the biochemical ability cells of different races and beasts found on other planets and thus they were called awakened or BC users. But not all people could gain BC ability cells as only a handful of people were worthy enough to awaken them. This new ability proved to be helpful for the awakened as well as the unawakened as it gave them new job opportunities. Most of the awakened people used to hunt different kinds of beasts for money, and the unawakened used to do odd jobs for the awakened people. Earth became a totally different place in a short amount of time, a utopia to fiction lovers as people could experience things they could only see on the screen. Earth was connected to different galaxies and planets through teleportation portals, people could travel hundreds of miles just by passing through the portal. We also found out that the different races which we used to read in fantasies all do exist! Elves, dwarfs, nymphs, demons, etc exist and were thriving on their own planets. There were all kinds of diverse races on Earth after the invasion, humans interacted with all the races without prejudice and discrimination. All the countries that existed before the invasion were taken under the wing of The Earth Federation which was under the control of the Human Alliance. The government started to give importance to the military to gain power, and thus children were taught under the military regime from a young age. Children with high potential were given special privileges and the others were not given any importance. The tallest of the four, a blonde who was wearing a blue battle suit shouted after throwing a jab at the frail teenager, "It feels so satisfying after beating the shit out of you, I wanna kill you but I will get in more trouble so I think it should be good to debilitate you of walking. Now live in pain as a cripple, you arrogant a** b*tch!" Saying those words, the tallest who looked like the leader of the other three left with a satisfying expression on his face. Later that day, a trash collector machine found a body in the container which seemed to be grasping for life. The police were reported about the body and the boy was sent to the hospital immediately. After undergoing the treatment, the boy was declared to his family by the doctors a cripple as he had lost the sense of his legs and arms. ...... This incident happened left Otsuka''s life inane. He thought of killing himself but to his demise, he couldn''t even kill himself. He had become a cripple who had to live on others which he hated the most. Much had happened with him but he didn''t feel remorse or revengeful against his assailants, what had happened in the past which left him in this situation? The Past. [ ARC 1 - DAWN OF LOVE ] Sitting on his cybernetic wheelchair controlled by his thoughts via his neurons, Otsuka had lost himself in his thoughts thinking about his deeds of the past. -------------------------------- DATE: 22.06.2044 LOCATION: Project Connection Research School, City Project Connection, PLANET EARTH Six years before the incident. Otsuka with a group of four boys walked out of his academy''s boring theory class to the training grounds to show off his combat abilities in front of other students. Otsuka had not yet awakened as he had yet to be evaluated, which type of ?????????? (Superhuman Ability) resided in his body. The ?????????? were explained to be either the three cell types or the combination of them: Atomize, Morph, Mutate. Atomize ability cells can let the user change or control the structure of the atoms to their awakened element at their whim. These ability cells were the strongest as the user could change his/her body or the atom structure to their awakened element. Morph ability cells let the user change properties of their bodies or structures. If the user had awakened with the ability cells of an Atertec Armadrillo then they can solidify and harden their body to certain extremes based on their power and expertise. Mutate ability cells could mutate the atoms letting the user transform them into the beast they acquired the cells from fully or partially. If the user had awakened from the cells from the Elven Yeti then the user could change his body structure or transform into one fully or partially. An Atomize BC ability user could control or change atoms to his awakened element at his wish, but controlling atoms was hard, as it needed expertise, skill and hard work. If the user had not double awakened his ??????????, he can''t be called a ?????????? (an ability user). After you double awakened, your ability cells were later divided into power levels or ranks basing on their destructiveness and your expertise. After reaching the training grounds with the four other boys, Otsuka had started training against the robots used for practical combat. He was thrashing the bots as they were at a low-level setting with his skills wanting to impress all the other students. His combative skills were great and he was considered good among his age group. The four others were his childhood friends who used to be around him every time, Otsuka was the youngest of all. And Regi, a blonde was the oldest of them. He was the funniest and the class clown who loved making everyone laugh. Owaye was the second eldest of the bunch and could be described as adventurous and free-spirited who loved making new friends. Bynum, the rap nerd who was the kindest of the five and Hazza, the lovesick always thinking about his girl. And lastly Otsuka, an attention-seeker and a curious fella who loved to do everything in his own unique ways. This distinctive group were friends from kindergarten and were always together. Regi yawned and said to Otsuka, "I am feeling hungry, Suka. Finish your show off quickly so that we can head out to eat something." Otsuka replied, "Yeah, I am finished. Let''s head out. After their little arguments, the four went to a student mart of their academy and bought something to eat. Yeah, I think Lisha." Otsuka had completely fallen head over heels for Lisha. It was love at first sight, not him ''simping'' though. After confessing that he liked her, Otsuka left his friends to depart for his house. On his way home, two boys who were rather taller than their age confronted Otsuka. Otsuka thinking that they wanted a fight, inured himself. A boy who understood Otsuka''s intentions said, "Oh, we are not here for a fight, friend. We just wanted to talk about something." Otsuka lowered his stance but was still unsure about the weird strangers and replied, "I don''t think we have met before to be called friends. State your reason for confronting me." Another boy who was wearing a cap replied seeing Suka''s hostility, "Chill dude, we saw you training at the rounds earlier and were really astonished by your combat ability. We just wanted to know where you learned it from." Otsuka thinking that these were his new fans replied, "Oh, so you saw me there. My combat abilities are cool, aren''t they? Well, I can''t say where I learned them from but I could teach you a thing or two." Seeing Otsuka changing his tone so quickly, the two boys who looked a year older than him joyously replied, "Man, you are so cool. Thanks, can we meet at the public training grounds tomorrow?" Otsuka replied, "Yeah sure and what should I call you both?" The boy who wore a cap replied, "Oops, forgot to introduce myself. I am Merf and he''s Fin" pointing towards the other guy who looked absolutely elegant and handsome like a prince. Otsuka after staring at Fin with a hint of jealousy for having the elegant looks said, "Then let''s meet tomorrow Merf, Fin." The two boys then bid farewell to Otsuka. The other day, all of his friends were waiting in front of his house to pick him up on their way to the academy. Regi getting impatient after waiting for an hour asked, "He usually doesn''t take this long. Owaye, did he inform anyone that he isn''t coming today?" Owaye replied, "I don''t think he said anything about not coming." His friends were confused and decided to knock on the door and ask about him. After knocking on the door, a woman who looked around 30 opened the door and said, "Good morning children, were you waiting for Suka?" The boys replied, "Good morning Miss Sophia, we were waiting for Otsuka." The woman replied, "But he left with two of his new friends a while ago" All of them thinking that it was strange for Otsuka to be making new friends said, "Thanks, we''ll be leaving then." and went to the academy. ..... After completing all of his theory classes, Otsuka didn''t go to the training grounds and instead went to meet his new friends at their stated place. Merf seeing Otsuka at the public grounds happily yelled, "Hey Otsuka! How are you? Let''s get inside and find a place to train." Otsuka replied, "Hey Merf, Fin! I am fine, how are you guys." Fin voiced, "We are doing good, thanks for asking. Let''s go to the grounds quick or else we have to wait longer" Merf went on, "Yeah, let''s get going" The three of them reached the training ground, there was an unusual crowd gathered waiting for someone. There were even news reporters and men wearing black suits, foreshadowing the importance of the person arriving. Thereupon, an aircraft that was too rare to be seen appeared. Out of it, a tall red-haired man wearing an exquisite dress came out. Upon his arrival, the crowd started applauding. This confused Otsuka as to who the red-haired man was, making him ask Merf. Merf whispered, "He is a ??????????, a famous one at that. He is known as The Blazing Carnage because he burns his enemies into charcoal." Otsuka gasped at Merf''s words. To believe such a man would visit this place, he was a bit curious as to why. Fin intervened, "I think we can''t practice now." Otsuka and Merf both sighed, "Yeah." As the three of them were walking back, Otsuka noticed a familiar face. He stopped by making both of his new pals stop too, he noticed the familiar face and it was Lisha. Merf and Fin both noticed Otsuka''s gazes towards the girl and hypothesized that he was clearly simping. Fin seeing his friend''s needful eyes teased, "Nice choice Suka, didn''t know you liked these type of girls. To which Lisha replied, "Yeah, I saw Wera this evening. She was heading somewhere alone so I asked and she said Hazza told her to meet there. Why what happened?" Hazza intervened, "I didn''t meet her since yesterday, Who could''ve said that? Anyways did you see where she was heading to?" Lisha replied, "Yeah, she said somewhere near the bridge which is after the Project Connection Lab." Regi and Hazza gaspingly responded, "Okay, thanks. Be careful on your way." Lisha confusingly replied, "Okay but what happened." But the boys were long gone. Regi, while running with Hazza to the bridge said, "Haz, let''s inform the police first." Hazza questioned, "How''d you know that?" Regi replied, "I saw on the news about it, about some traffickers spotted at the bridge." These words worried Hazza even more that he started sweating heavily, he started running as fast as he could in search of a warehouse and eventually found an old bike manufacturing warehouse. Both of them went inside that warehouse and saw something they wished didn''t happen. There was a body of a girl, all her clothes shredded as if they were torn by some animals lying at the end of the warehouse unconscious. Hazza was confused about what he should be doing but Regi was boiling in rage and he needed someone to take it out on. Enraged, he shouted at Hazza, "You f*cker! It happened because you, you told her. I shouldn''t have let you talk to her." He started furiously punching Hazza making him fall to the ground but Regi didn''t stop, he continued beating him making him all bloody. When the police reached the site, they saw a blood-soaked boy lying on the ground and the other tall blonde carrying a girl. The girl and the boy were immediately hospitalised and the other blonde one was questioned by the police and was sent to rehabilitation for a month. The girl was reported to be severely bruised and injured and was said to take at least a month to be in good health, the boy on the other hand was discharged after two weeks and from that day no one heard from him as his family transferred to other location. Owaye, Bynum and Otsuka visited Wera and Hazza when they were hospitalised and they regretted not being in the time of need for their friends. Owaye and Bynum used to visit both of them daily and later both of them transferred to different locations with their families after the incident. Otsuka was the only one left out of his friends. This tragedy changed all of their lives. .......... LOCATION: GOODWILL Rehabilitation Centre for Young DATE: 30.07.2044 A month after the tragedy, Regi was released from Rehabilitation and was made to join a military academy. At the cafeteria in the town square, Otsuka and Lisha were sitting opposite each other talking something. Lisha seeing Suka''s concerned face said, "What happened, did Fin say something?" Otsuka responded, "No, we are fine. Regi was released this week so I was thinking of meeting him, after all this happened I didn''t get to talk to him." Otsuka gravely replied, "All of them transferred to different military schools, I am the only one left." This made Regi sorrowful and angry because they left him in his time of need. He knocked on the door without saying anything and left.
