《The Compendium of the Cosmos》 Ch 1: From The Mysteries On Planes V.1 From The Mysteries On Planes V.1 Far, far away from here, in a place that was without a name. A comet was travelling, it had travelled far, seen so much, and it would travel further and see much more. That''s what it had believed at least. Exploring the many mysteries of the Cosmos was exciting to it, no place the other like, always someone or something new to meet. It had passed through many Universes and seen the Worlds they held, from the smallest bacteria to the biggest Space Whale. Though there hadn''t been many it could talk to, seeing as such a person would need to be able to speak directly into a mind and be fast enough to keep up with the comet itself, the few things it had talked to were interesting creatures. Even if most of them were scholars of rocks and metals more interested in the small particles of stuff it had brought with it to and from the many Universes than to talk to it there were a few interested in the stories that it held within its mind. This was it''s normal way, the only way, as far as it knew. Until finally, something changed, a ripple in the fabric of space, something akin to a wormhole you could say opened in front of the comet. This was a rare occurrence but not something it hadn''t experienced before, even if it usually traveled to the edge of a Universe before leaving. These types of space distortions could lead to many places and were a favorite of the comet, the mysteries inside would not wait and the comet was ready for what awaited it on the other side, not like it could stop anyways. But unlike what it had expected, a Universe, the Cosmos or perhaps even a rare Pocket Dimension, it found nothing. No matter how far it travelled now, there was only the comet, no matter where it went, there was only the comet. The comet was reaching speeds it had never before, seeing as even the Cosmos usually had some resistance and more importantly, observation. The comet wondered just what kinds of speeds it could reach in this place of nothin. It had known for a long time that speed was relative and although different Universes allowed different maxe, if it truly was the only thing in this place, was everything not relative to it and if so, was there even a max speed it could reach? The comet pondered this and more while traveling, becoming faster and faster, however the newness of these higher speeds were a short lived joy as in but a few centuries a crack had formed on it.Unauthorized use of content: if you find this story on Amazon, report the violation. The comet started to feel a rising panic from within as more centuries passed and the cracks were forming faster and faster. Was this how it was going to end, blowing up from high speeds in a place where it could share it''s stories with no one? It didn''t want that, there was an endless amount of Universes it wanted to explore, there was an endless amount of people it wanted to meet, it had so much to live for, it had so much to share, it ha- It exploded. But it was not the end, no, the explosion was not the death of the comet but rather the expansion of it and it realised that this was perhaps something natural, that was meant to happen. In its mind it was clear what was to happen next, it was to form something new to exist in this place that had previously been nothing. It drew inspiration from everything it had seen and experienced, always having been a particularly great enjoyer of water life in its many forms that was where it started. The whole emptiness was to be filled with water and creatures that could live in the environment, but it didn''t want to exclude everything else it had learned and seen, so it created planet sized islands underwater that would have a natural barrier from the water allowing terrestrial life to be born and flourish. Light would come from giant glowing crystals that would flow with the water. It continued fine tuning and exploring different ideas of what it wanted itself to be and this lasted for some millennia until finally it was complete. And so the expansion started, creating this peculiar Plane of water following the intrinsic laws that had been it''s detailed ideas, beliefs, wants and desires. The comet had blown up, shedding itself for the new form of a Plane, it spread, expanded and filled the nothingness that had been with something. Thankfully it took but some ten millennia for life to appear in the Plane, evolving both in the water and on the islands slowly becoming life forms that it could actually enjoy watching. And so the Plane continued, many ripples had happened since, and many other comets had come and gone, knowing not that the place they were in was once like them. That is how but one of many Planes of water were born. Donated by a travelling explorer who said the world had whispered the story to him. Ch 2: An excerpt from The Journal of Kriggè„¿lzahcmada; Chapter: Fate An excerpt from The Journal of Krigg¨¤lzahcmada; Chapter: Fate Year 414 month 6 day 3 after starting the search for Fate After 414 years of searching, I finally found someone that could tell me about Fate. Finally another one of my missions is a success, but let''s stay on track. Everyone knows, or at least talks like they know Fate, but do they really, I always wondered what it was, if it even was a thing at all. It is after all one of the reasons I started my journey. After lots of searching, through multiple Universes, I found someone to tell me about it, they go by **¡è%=))@!?¡ì?&(^->.%** or at least that''s what happens when I try to write it down. Their name is more of a concept really, well their entire being seems to be a concept taken form but I digress. They helped me, not by telling, but by showing, and that experience I can only try to put into words. After telling them about my reasons for being there, for looking for one such as themselves, they laughed. I got a bit mad at the time, but at the very least they said they would help, and help they did. I was taken to a place that seemed to have no limit, yet it all focused on one painting, at the time I was confused but after I took a closer look I got a vision. It was a small dry wasteland, not more than 10 meters in diameter, with nothing alive in it, and it stayed this way for a long time, I couldn''t say HOW long, but much longer than my simple journey at least. A cloud had started to form, slowly over this time, it was a small cloud, couldn''t really be called a cloud more than a few drops of water vapour. But at some point, it fell, it became a drop of water that landed on this dry and barren wasteland, it seemed to kick-start it all. Soon the area had expanded and life was upon the entire wasteland, mountains, trees, grass, flowers, everything really. But no water for the longest time, then once more, change happened, and clouds started forming, this time, bigger than the first, real clouds. These clouds formed and gathered until finally, it started raining, and it rained, and rained, a river had started to form and it still rained, it never did stop raining. The river slowly but surely took form and dug its way through the earth, moving towards a location unknown, but my vision followed the river as it went forward. I gathered that if my vision followed the stream then this must have something to do with Fate.Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation. As the river continued it came upon more of the wasteland that I hadn''t seen in what felt like eons at the time(it probably had been that long in the vision), but as it closed in on the wasteland, life sprouted up again, this time fuelled by a river of water and not just a single drop. I looked behind me, and I could barely see the mountain the river started from, but I could still see the cloud so it must also be continuously expanding with the river. I watched the river for a long time, wondering what this had to do with Fate, perhaps it had something to do with the water, so I took a closer look and finally I saw something. Every single drop of water had a face in it, a life in it. This was not water, but souls, or maybe, Fates. With that realization, things changed, suddenly I could see some of these drops of water going against the stream, going backwards or to the sides, and slowly but surely, these singular drops of water expanded to become people. There were many races that I saw at the time, some I knew, but many I''d never even heard of. They climbed out of the river and started forging their own path throughout the world, and that''s when it clicked, that''s when I woke up from the vision. I was no longer in that room with the painting, and the place where I had found the mysterious being seemed gone. But when I looked around, the place I found myself in was peculiar, it was a 10 meter in diameter circle that looked identical to the place I first saw in the vision. That wasn''t weird, the old thing must''ve seen the place themselves before showing me, so they could''ve replicated it. But something about that thought felt wrong, this place seemed old in a way that could be felt. But I had gotten what I came for, so I decided to keep on my journey. After walking out of that space I came upon the endless plains, that''s what it was called by the locals at least. Turning around to take one last look at the place where I had gotten my help and it was gone, there was only the plains around me now. Well, old beings like that one tend to have many capabilities, I have seen teleporting countries which is nothing compared to the capabilities of some of the older beings in the Cosmos. My conclusion on the whole deal: Fate is something that helps us along the way, but it only affects those who don''t make something of themselves, those who don''t make any choices themselves, those who get dragged along by the current so to say. But it''s not like it''s impossible to define your own fate, in fact, there was at least one third of the water dragging themselves out of the river, some of these water creatures were bigger and some were smaller, but I saw more water people in that vision than I know there are people in the multitude of Universes out there. Now, it''s time for my next journey. This quest on my journey took 414 years, 6 months and 3 days. I travelled through a total of 42 Universes. This means that my journey has officially been going on for 17388 years and I''ve travelled through 1764 Universes, and there''s still so many questions to be answered! All of Krigg¨¤lzahcmada''s journals were found in front of the biggest institutes of knowledge throughout the most known and populated Universes but also some lesser known ones, it is still unclear how such a thing was accomplished
