《Crestmaker》 Summoned, I swear Ive read this before It was a normal Friday; I was sitting in class waiting got the bell to ring like everyone else hoping to get my weekend started. I was already completely tuning out the teachers as I read a story I had printed from the internet. I''m sure you know the kind, summoned into another world, awesome powers, the usual. So engrossed was I with my reading that I didn¡¯t even notice when it happened to me. One moment I am sitting in class, the next I¡¯m looking around to see hundreds of my fellow students in what looks like the ball room from beauty and the beast. They must have summoned my entire school. Your typical old wizard looking guy comes out to greet us and calls us heroes and starts walking us through how to open our status menu''s. About then is when I started thinking I''m going to end up with a crap status and tossed out of the castle. I open my status and low and behold it looks very normal for a summoned story fantasy status screen. I have the title of Summoned and the class Crestmaker, my stats seem average for a level one but no way to tell what¡¯s special here. About then another walking trope arrives in the ¡°all to beautiful fantasy land princess¡± that comes out to thank us for answering the call and informing us all that regardless of our status the kingdom would support us, following up with some story about how during the last great war heroes were summoned and one was deemed powerless and discarded. That turned out to be a mistake because that discarded hero awoke some supreme power and established his own kingdom, the one we were standing in as a matter of fact. After that food and accommodations were arranged, no one was required to share status or anything like that, so we were all left to our own devices. First day in fantasy land was kind of boring if I''m honest, but then again, I''m fairly certain I''ve read this all before. Second day we met up with people who divided us up by our classes and started training us, those that could be trained anyways. Once again it turns out I''m one of those can¡¯t really be trained types, my abilities can be practiced yes, but I just need to use them and over time they get stronger. Here let me show you my status, it does a decent job of explaining.

That sounds a great deal like an aura based totem, doesn''t it? As it happens that¡¯s exactly what it is. Currently my only crest is a repair crest that can repair unranked items at a rate of one durability a minute. Also, the crest eats one MP per minute so I can slowly repair ten durability for whatever gets placed near my crest before I need to take a few hours to recover my MP. Oh, and if your curious the repair crest looks like a hammer and anvil encased in a circle. It¡¯s about the size of my hand and the total area of effect is apparently one foot square. From what I¡¯ve been told Crestmakers always have unique crests so my theory is that it¡¯s based off what I think a repair crest should look like. I should note my repair crest does have a slight cheat, it repairs one durability per minute for everything unranked placed inside its area, so if i can fit a hundred items in its area of effect that means I am restoring a full one hundred durability a minute. I tested it on some common items that were bent or otherwise showed wear and after the full ten minutes they were looking better so its definitely doing something. Vurget, that is this dwarf looking guy handling all of us support types, sees a lot of potential in the ability but for not my proficiency is growing really slowly. Anyways day two is done and I really should get to bed, I think I¡¯ll stick with this journal idea, seems fun. With that Arc closed the Journal section of his interface, placed a repair crest on the table next to his bed where a small pile of items had been placed for repair, and procced to go to sleep. Something Arc had not been informed of in his two days in the Verin kingdom was that MP recovered faster while one slept. Fast enough in fact that it kept up with his single mana per minute expenditures throughout the night. Something else Arc had not been informed of is the results of over repairing an item through magic. As the night pressed on everything on his bedside table had got from looking well used, to brand new, to taking on a sense of quality they didnt have before. An over repaired item can be incresed in rank a single time. even if his ability worked on ranked items, which his bedside table was now covered with, they would not increase in rank again. That bit of information, and several other things would be revealed to him the next day, when his nighttime repairs had been discovered. Royal Inspection Report written by Alveria Draconis, Third Princess of the Draconis Kingdom year 478 of the Age of Heroes 7th day of the waning season Heroes have been summoned to our world once more. On the orders of my father, King Aeleran Draconis, a large-scale summoning has occurred to bring forth empowered being from another world to face an enemy the true kingdoms of this world have proven ineffective against. As has been noted in the past hero summoning is a double edge sword. The legendary heroes of our past were called and upheld their title as hero, however, so to have the worst tyrants of our past also been brought forth through summoning. As required by worldly laws governing hero summoning, enacted by Founder King Cody Draconis, all newly summoned heroes are to be observed and those with potential singled out and monitored. As instructed, I have included notes regarding members of each specialization that show signs of being a future true hero, or threat to society. My judgment criteria are balanced between definitive capability and observed personality. This is my first entry of judgment having met the summoned as a group shortly after their summoning and witnessing their training the day following such. A follow up report will be submitted in the even these judgments are proven inadequate or further individuals prove more worthy of prioritization. Martial Jennifer ¨C Angelic Knight Appearance ¨C Average Height, limited fitness, Shoulder length brown hair, pale fair skin Demeanor ¨C Diligent, task focused, social but currently appears infatuated with class transformation ability, appears to have been an artist prior to summoning Flaws ¨C Extremely work focused, did not sleep the night after initial training and remained in the training grounds. Health may be a concern if this continues Takes on an angelic combat form replete with wings, halo, and armaments, armaments can be enhanced by real equipment she has. Known powers are sense evil intent, mark target, and a passive healing aura Edgar ¨C Shadowblade Appearance ¨C Short, thin, short Black Hair, slightly tanned fair skin Demeanor ¨C Cold, Mercenary beliefs, Power Hungry Flaws ¨C Self Important, likely to abuse abilities, considers those native to this world ¡°NPC¡¯s¡± a term meaning fake people by my understanding A close combat and assassination specialist that utilizes shadow magic to hide his presence and alter perceptions. Has been shown to be capable of changing a target¡¯s intended path through the same magics. Also capable of traversing great distances though a shadow path between two existent shadows Markus ¨C BloodKnight Appearance ¨C Medium build with some muscle, short black hair, Dark skin similar in color to chocolate Demeanor ¨C Friendly, Helpful, Cautious, Gentle, appears to be seen as a leader by the summons Flaws ¨C Withholds his strength, first showings of his power indicated him overwhelming opponents but as he has adjusted to his abilities, he is appearing more and more reserved.A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. Class appears to grant nearly limitless stamina as after a full day of training Bloodknight showed no signs of fatigue. Physical strength also appears to be enhanced. Displayed ability to bind several opponents inside a large area until such time as those opponents were defeated or surrendered with the surrender being accepted by the Bloodknight. Suspect blood related abilities but none have been displayed thus far. Arcane Christina ¨C Nightmare Caller Appearance ¨C Medium height, Curvy figure, long brown hair, tanned skin Demeanor ¨C Friendly, Highly Social, Humorous Flaws ¨C Either does not notice or actively ignores the effect she has on those around her, finds humor in the fear she inspires with her powers. Believed to be a twisted sense of humor more than any malicious intent. Class allows wielder to alter the world around them, creating a nightmare like existence that hides wielders presence and brings forth horrible creatures bent on killing all life within the area. Other summoned have mentioned that the nightmare creatures appear to be from fictional tales in their universe called horror movies. William ¨C Force Mage Appearance ¨C Tall, Overweight, Short Brown hair, Pale freckled skin Demeanor ¨C Excitable, prone to rambling, avoids those he considers the ¡°popular¡± people Flaws ¨C over eager to test and utilize his gifts, training room walls severely damaged by an errant spell. Force mage specializes in non aspected magic, displayed spells have been force barrier and force spear, barrier has blocked spells a level greater than the users and the force spear has managed to pierce the defensive wards of the training area, although spells can be case quickly the force mage¡¯s MP pool limits current power. Tiffany ¨C Copymancer Appearance ¨C average height, curvy figure, blond Hair, smooth tan skin (possibly enhanced with alchemy or some otherworld capability lacked here) Demeanor ¨C manipulative, desires others to perform tasks for her, appearance focused, combative with other females Flaws ¨C lazy, image focused, desires adoration and will do anything to accumulate it Class allows user to create copies of those user has interacted with, copy is weaker then original and is unable to grow, currently only capable of one copy at a time however able to store other copy¡¯s for later use. Current storage limit unknown. Support Ridhi ¨C Minion Queen Appearance - Short, slim figure, black hair, dusky skin Demeanor - Friendly to other summons, distrustful of others, strong desire to return home. Flaws - Revels in abilities, more focused on her minions then living people. Minion Queen grants her the ability to summon at current five disposable servants. While lacking any combat capability they do gain any skill she has in gathering or production related skills. As minions work both their, and her skills improve. Given the classes similarity to the Founder King''s Minion Master class, monitoring her should be of highest priority. Arc - Crestmaker Appearance - Average height, average build, brown hair, fair skin, uneven tan (possibly due to outdoor work) Demeanor - Suspected prophet, has displayed on several occasions highly accurate guesses involving information related to the current state of the world, when asked he stated that he had read this all in a book before. Questioning other summons revealed that stories of being summoned are fictions in their world and Arc is an avid reader of such stories. Appears friendly but not actively social. Flaws - does not pay attention when being spoken to, rude, ignored several questions from both the high sorcerer and I. Apologized after apparently realizing he was not speaking to fellow students. Possibly easily distracted. Like other known Crestmakers this one creates crests that cause an effect within a radius around the crest. User''s first crest revealed to be repair oriented, fixing unranked items at an extremely low cost in MP. Lisa - Fleshforger Appearance - Very short (shortest of all summons), curvy figure, Black hair, pale fair skin. Demeanor - Very fast talker, sometimes difficult to understand. Asks questions about everything Flaws - Lacks social filter, will ask any question regardless of subject or company. Appears to fear her power. Class allows for augmentation of organic life. Though the class name is Fleshforger, skills also work on plants. One augmentation caused a flower to go berserk. Three were injured before mutated flower was subdued. Currently user refuses to use her power on anything other than plants. These are the nine individuals that currently show the most potential. Will continue monitoring and provide further input as required. Growth and Discord Arc awoke as the sun shined through the window of his room. Stretching with a yawn he looked over to his table, prepared to create a new repair crest, only to notice that the original one was still there. Quickly checking his status he was amused by the change.

It appeared his MP regenerated quite quickly while he slept. No overwhelming growth in levels or stats outside of the large jump in the repair crests level. Arc concluded that for now at least he still was not showing signs of falling into the main character category as he possessed no overwhelming cheat like abilities. This was agreeable to him as he did not want the drama that came with being an overpowered cheat. Gathering all of the perfectly repaired items into a sack he made his way down to the support training area where he had spent much of the previous day. Acquiring new items to repair before getting to breakfast meant an extra crest or two for the day. Meeting Vurget when he arrives Arc hands over his current sack of repaired items and explains what happened the night before, causing his Dwarven mentor to burst out laughing. The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. "Boy you''ve gone an'' donit now. Over-reparin'' was meant to be a lesson fer today. You''ve made my job a bit easier" Refusing to explain further Vurget directs Arc to create a new repair crest and instructs him in charging the crest so he can walk away from it. He then arranges for a few servants to monitor the repairs while the crest is active. Having placed his crest Arc makes his way to the kitchens for his breakfast. Along the way he overhears some of the castle staff and other students gossiping about the events of the previous day. Very little of interest catches his attention, but gossip rarely does. It doesn''t really matter that Christina has more than a few new admirers among the local populace, nor does it matter that Tiffany is livid about it. Such things are expected, its just a repeat of the events of school. While enjoying a breakfast of some sort of soup and sweetbread combination a few others join arc and talk about the events of the day before. "Being a martial is painful, especially facing someone like Markus", comments an overweight boy named Edmond, "Even with my class one hit sends me rolling!" "Better then being apart of the magical group, between Tiffany making clones of people and Randal abusing his weird confusion magic its hard enough to learn my own capabilities" Replied Scott, a lanky teen with red hair and an old burn scar on his cheek. "Support has been slow going", Arc added to the discussion, "I haven''t seen anyone with creepy powers yet but they split us all up because we all work in different ways." The discussion continued until they finished breakfast and split up to to to their classes for the day. "Good morning summons", Vurget started his instruction for the day, "today we shall discuss magical effects." A magical effect, as it is explained is a temporary or permeant magical change to an item. These can be enhancements, or diminutions of a variety of types. The most common being simple stat buffs and debuffs, causing a minor change to the capabilities of the recipient for a short time. "Our Crestmaker here, Arc has provided an excellent demonstration of what is commonly known as an accidental enhancement", the instructor said while placing a table knife on display for everyone to see. "Yesterday, this was an ordinary table knife. after a night of repair treatment however, this has becomes a rank one table knife. This is due to a phenomenon we refer to as over repairing." He stated while demonstrating the table knife cut through a thin iron sheet. The instructor went on to explain how repeated applications of certain magical effects caused the items or people they were applied on to acquire them permanently. While a person getting a permanent effect was rare, and exceedingly difficult, items gaining them were much more common. As Arc was learning the basics of what his repair crest could do when pushed, the Magical class was having a bit more difficulty. "I told you to stop using me!" "Why should I, you make a very good servant" "Because its sick and wrong just like you and your stupid power" Lisa, a creationist whos abilities allowed her to conjure something from nothing argued with Tiffany over her use of a copy. Currently a double of Lisa was standing next to Tiffany, in an overly revealing maid outfit, serving her tea. Tiffany had always delighted in getting under peoples skin, with her copy powers now she really could. Her copy''s were faithful reproductions of the original in appearance, and held half of the originals supernatural abilities. Copy Lisa would never be able to make anything as well as the original, but that didn''t matter. She could make the copy wear whatever she wanted. Make her perform any act she desired, and the items created for mundane purpose, such as clothing and food were more than good enough. While the other students practiced their abilities Lisa kept harassing Tiffany throughout the class until Tiffany threatened to make the clone strip and serve her naked everywhere she went. Lisa''s response to that was to conjure forth a sword and stab Tiffany in the gut before she could react. "Listen here you vapid waste of a human being, try to use a copy of me again, try to embarrass me with your powers, do anything that offends me, and you wont survive the next one of these little discussions" The weapon Lisa had conjured clattered to the ground as the healers rushed to begin treatment. Lisa walked out of the training hall as her schoolmates stood stunned at what had just happened.
