《Tidbits from Mahashoti and Other Stories》 Mahashoti: The Beginning of Journey

Prologue to Mahashoti

We came from the astral world and we shall return to it. "Does life exist beyond earth in outer space?" It is a fascinating question for humankind. With all of the countless billions of stars, planets, and moons in the vast universe, there is a possibility of life existing elsewhere beyond Earth. Many people have claimed to see Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and aliens from outer space that looked different from people on earth. However, there is no evidence for this yet. From time immemorial, the question of the existence of life after death has always attracted the interest of humankind and made them inquisitive for getting the answer. For thousands of years, religions all over the world have taught that life does not end at death. Holy books of most religions are rife with graphic descriptions of heaven and hell. Many people in different parts of the world claim to have seen or heard from the dead, while others have remembered past lives under hypnosis. Still, others have experienced death and have returned with remarkably similar stories to tell. It is hard to ignore the stories of out of body experiences. Even in the modern age of science, we hear about guardian angels, spirits, and ghosts. Yet the skeptics, the agnostics, and the atheists have challenged the notion of an afterlife. There are many stories on these topics. The novel titled ¡°Mahashoti¡¯ narrates one such story. The Beginning of Journey Incredible though it may seem It was real and not a dream Her soul came out and went up high To a new world up in the sky Shriti was a young girl who lived with her parents in a small village. Her father worked as the priest in a village temple and her mother sold flowers, earthen lamps, incense, and such other items that people needed in the worship. Shriti spent her time in nature, with the trees and blossoms and birds. She liked to wander along the banks of the river and listen to the ripple of the water as it flowed over the pebbles. Sometimes she sang. Whoever heard her sing was enchanted by her melodious voice. If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. One day in the early morning, as part of her daily routine, Shriti was chanting the holy hymns by looking at the morning sun. It looked beautiful and cool. Suddenly she saw a beautiful figure of a girl emerge from the sun and came floating towards her. The figure that was floating slowly in the beginning suddenly came whizzing by at great speed. It headed straight for her. Shriti felt as if struck by lightning. She felt getting separated from her body and viewed what was happening from another perspective. Shriti saw her body lying on the floor. Shriti felt as if she was being pulled away from her body. It occurred to her that she has died. She knew what was going to happen. Her body would be carried away and cremated. But suddenly she saw some movement in the body. She saw her parents around her body. The body was very much alive. It drank the water that Shriti''s mother gave to her. Then she saw her parents helping her body onto her bed. The incident happened in the morning. But Shriti''s first visual memory was seeing total darkness and then a brilliant beam of light coming towards her from a distance. The radiant glow looked as if a hundred stars had come together to form a magnificent moon rising from the horizon. She felt herself floating in the beautifully bright and cool light. There were two standing figures in the light, shaped like a normal human form. They were escorting her with full honor towards some particular destination. Shriti did not feel threatened, rather she felt protected and safe. Gradually she was moving away from the earth towards a bright, new, beautiful world. It was beautiful beyond imagination! Suddenly she was aware of being in the most beautiful garden she had ever seen. She heard celestial music clearly and saw vividly colored flowers, like nothing seen on earth, gorgeous greenery and trees. She stood in a glory that she thought could only be heaven. Shriti saw a pedestal decorated with flowers. On this pedestal, a girl was lying on a slightly raised podium. Shriti felt herself being drawn towards the pedestal. She was heading towards it and being pushed into that girl. The next moment the girl was gone and Shriti found herself lying on the podium. She got up and saw all the people greeting her and shouting ''Shimoyi Janu Mahashoti, Ashoti, Ashoti!'' While such greeting and cheering was going on, a beautiful chariot descended from the sky. Two beautiful girls came out of it. They escorted Shriti to the chariot and seated her. Then the chariot took off. Shriti was now sitting comfortably in a chariot and flying in the sky towards her destination. It was the beginning of her journey to a new realm. The above narration is taken from the book ¡®Mahashoti¡¯ by Ashok Mohanty. It is about ¡®out of body¡¯ experience of a young girl in outer space in different planets and about her extra-ordinary past life among aliens, demons and ghost. Could such things have happened? It may seem too incredible to be real yet too real to be imaginary. Mahashoti - Being Guest at Vhurab Shriti¡¯s soul was taken to a new realm and pushed into a new body. She found herself amongst the aliens. They seated her in a magnificent chariot, which took off from ground and flew high in the sky. The flight was smooth and fast. The chariot made no vibration or sound. It had a sound system that played soft melodious celestial music. After it had travelled some distance, the chariot started descending. In the background, at a distance, there were beautiful snow-capped mountain cliffs, whose slopes were adorned with foliage of infinite beauty. The base of the mountain was flat. It was covered with uniform green grass like a beautiful carpet. At one end there was a grove of large, luxuriant trees, and at other end was glistening lake containing atypical water - clear, radiant, and alluring. The chariot made a soft landing on the ground. A dignified man and a beautiful young lady received Shriti when she got down. The man came forward and said something which Shriti could not understand. Then the man took out two earplugs and put those in Shriti''s ears. The man announced pleasantly, "Welcome to planet Vhurab, the land of Vidujas. My name is Jalliketu. I am the Security in-charge of this region. And she is my assistant Ritika. She will be your host here on this planet. You are an outsider. You do not know our language. So you will need the earplugs. These earplugs are automatic translators. It will instantly translate our spoken words into your language." The man appeared somewhat worried. He said, "This is the first time a soul from earth has reached here in a physical form. We mistook your soul as that of Shimoyi Janu Mahashoti and brought you here. Then we gave you her spare body without proper verification. Now I am afraid, you will have to stay here till some alternate arrangements and decisions are made." Shriti asked, ¡°But what is my fault? I have not trespassed into this place.¡± Jalliketu said, ¡°The fault was ours¡¯. It was a breach in our security. We did not perform any Ruhbac scan that every soul is required to undergo. Had we done that we would have known that you are not Shimoyi Mahashoti.¡±Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. ¡°What is Ruhbac scan?¡± Shriti asked out of curiosity. Jalliketu replied, "It is very difficult to explain this to someone, who comes from an underdeveloped planet like earth. But since you are our guest, I will try to explain it to you to satisfy your curiosity. The earth is not the only planet that has life. Many other planets have life as well. However, our planet Vhurab is the most advanced among all planets. It is the mentor planet to many other planets, including planet earth. We control everything that happens on earth.¡± Shriti, ¡°Did you say, our earth is underdeveloped? Do you control earth sitting from here? I cannot believe this.¡± Jalliketu then explained the secret: "We do this in three ways. We have a system. When a person dies in lesser planets, its soul is evaluated through the Ruhbac scan and accordingly it is assigned a place in any of the planets controlled by us. A soul is evaluated based on its deeds, thoughts and feelings. When a person dies, the final score is automatically tagged to the soul and it is assigned to a planet and position accordingly. "We also have a system that provides governance, support, and help to human beings on earth to lead their life. Improving the quality of souls is very important for maintaining the ecosystem of the universe. When there is general degradation of moral values and virtues in any planet, we send one or more of our best persons in disguise to lead the people towards virtue, truth and peace. Many of the great persons in the history of earth were sent from Vhurab to carry out our planned mission for the betterment of the universe. "In Vhurab, people have spare bodies having identical fingerprints. But a soul cannot be duplicated. Every soul is unique and is identified from its vibration pattern. So we maintain the record of souls. A soul from outside world is not permitted to enter Vhurab. ¡°Every soul needs a body. However, the Viduja beings keep two or more bodies. When a Viduja being becomes slightly old or sick, he leaves his old body and enters into a new one. The memory from the old brain is then transferred to the brain of the new body. So there is no old age, sickness and death in Vhurab.¡± All the people Shriti had seen so far looked perfectly fit, young and beautiful. But then she saw an extremely beautiful girl. She was much beautiful as compared to any other Viduja girl. Her beauty and grace were beyond description and imagination. Shriti was captivated by the beauty of that girl. ¡°The beautiful girl must be a princess¡±, she thought. Jalliketu claried her doubt. He said in a soft composed voice, "My dear Shriti, it is you. You are seeing your image in the mirror. You must know that now you are in a body that belonged to Shimoyi Janu Mohashoti. So in physical form, you are now Janu Mahashoti. When the real Janu Mahashoti will arrive, you will give possession of this body to her. Till then, you will keep this secret and stay as a guest in Vhurab." Mahashoti - Being Guest at Vhurab -2 Jalliketu suddenly disappeared leaving Shriti in the care of Ritika in that lovely secluded place. Ritika made some gesture and a magnificent elephant appeared from behind a tree. It was bedecked in silver, gold, diamonds and sapphires. Ritika held Shriti''s hand in a firm grip and said, "We will go on this elephant." Shriti felt some current flowing through her spine. Suddenly she felt very light. She felt a very strange sensation of weightlessness. And to her surprise, she found that with one hand Ritika lifted her and climbed on to the elephant. After both had sat on the elephant, it started flying. They flew over the lake, hills, forest and city. She felt weightless as if she was sitting not on an elephant but a gas balloon and drifting fast in the sky. She saw many young boys and girls riding on different animals and flying effortlessly in the sky. Some of the boys were riding on horses, which had wings. These boys on horses flew past them at very high speed and showed off breathtaking acrobatic stunts. Ritika said, "Boys will be boys. Be it Vhurab or earth, they are the same everywhere." It was all normal for her, but for Shriti it was so extraordinary. It was difficult for her to comprehend that she was actually flying over the clouds sitting on the elephant back. They landed in front of a house. Shriti slowly came back to her normal state. The weightlessness sensation gradually subsided. Ritika escorted her into the house. The drawing-room was quite big and well decorated. It had wide windows on both sides. The view through the windows was quite enchanting. One side was sea facing. The sun was going to set into the blue sea on the horizon. The waves appeared golden blue. The other side had a nice garden full of colourful flowers. There were water fountains. Peacocks, parrots and many other beautiful birds added to the beauty of the garden. The walls of the drawing-room were studded with colourful gemstones. The other rooms of the guesthouse were equally magnificent in size and grandeur. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. An attendant came in with a welcome drink. Another came with flowers and fruits. Then they left the room allowing Shriti to take some rest. Shriti felt it like a dream. The welcome drink was too tasty and rejuvenating. The fragrance of the flowers was intoxicating. Shriti took one bite from a fruit. It was sweet and delicious. Everything was extraordinary. Shriti saw through the glass door. A group of young boys and girls were performing song and dance just outside the door. They performed with remarkable grace, melody and rhythm. All these had a soothing effect and Shriti dozed off. She was woken up by Ritika, who said, "Shimoyi Shriti! I am responsible for your comfort and your good health. It is already late at night. You should take your dinner and go to sleep." But Shriti could see that it was still day time. Young boys and girls were still dancing and playing in the garden. But she did not feel like arguing with Ritika. She ate a little bit from what Ritika gave to her for dinner. Then Ritika asked if she should switch off the lights. Shriti said, ¡°OK.¡± Ritika switched off the light. Suddenly everything was dark. Shriti found that she was sitting in the open under the sky. She could see the stars above her head. Ritika looked at Shriti and said, ¡°I think it has become too dark. Let me increase the lighting¡± She did something and a full moon appeared in the sky. Ritika again asked, ¡°Is this OK or should I get another moon?¡± Shriti was bewildered. No words came from her mouth. She just shook her head. Ritika made the decision. She got another moon in the sky. Instead of full moon, she made both the moons crescent and adjusted them at proper angle in the sky. It took some time for Shriti to realize that the sky, moons and stars were not real but lighting systems. The young boys and girls who were dancing were also not real. It was displayed on Saya, which is similar to television. The view of the sea and garden were not real but only images. It was awesome. It was difficult to tell artificial from real and dream from reality. Adapted from the book the book ¡®Mahashoti¡¯ by Ashok Mohanty Mahashoti – Inflated Ego and War The guards mistook Shriti¡¯s soul as that of their princess Mahashoti and carried it with them to Vhurab. Shriti¡¯s soul was then pushed into a new body that belonged to princess Mahashoti. However when the mistake was detected the planetary positions had changed and the conditions had become unfavorable to set right the mistake. So Shriti stayed as a guest in Vhurab. As per the rule of Vhurab, she was made to go through past life regression. Shriti felt waking up from sleep. In past life she was the daughter of a village headman in planet Atabel. The story begins by her abduction followed by rescue, fights, war, politics and other complications. It tells one thing. If we see the history, we will find that most wars have been fought due to personal ego, arrogance and destructive aspirations of despotic rulers. The history has consistently repeated itself throughout the life span of a planet. This novel is interesting because it is full of ups and downs, surprises and unimaginable things. However the best book I like is famous epic Mahabharata. One can learn many things from this epic, which are relevant in present time. I have included many tidbits from Mahabharat in the book ¡®Worldly Wisdom 2 Godly Grace¡¯ published by Authorspress. Drona and Dhrupad had studied at the same school during their childhood. Drona was poor whereas his friend Dhrupad was the prince. Dhrupad had then declared to Drona that they were friends and whatever belonged to him belonged to Drona. When they grew up Drupad became a king and Drona earned his livelihood as a poor priest. Drona was so poor that his wife used to give their son rice water instead of milk. Seeing this plight, Drona went to Dhrupad for help. This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. But Dhrupad had become arrogant. He insulted Drona. ¡°Friendship exists among equals. I am the king and you are a poor priest. Ask anything as a charity. But do not claim it as friendship,¡± thus spoke King Dhrupada to Drona when the latter had asked the king for one cow. This humiliation angered Drona. Thus he cursed Dhrupada. What goes up, it must come down Forever none can keep the crown Yet this crown made you so proud One day your head will roll on ground Dhrupada was infuriated and asked his guards to drive away Drona. Drona remembered the insult. This small incident provided just another reason that caused the Great War ¡®Mahabharat¡¯, which is depicted in the epic. This war fought long ago in India can be likened to a ¡®World War¡¯. It was fought due to clash of personal ego of few individuals and resulted in total annihilation of people from both sides. Elora Cave Carbing showing Mahabharat War Will life continue on earth till eternity or will it come to an end someday due to war, decease, or calamity? What will happen to souls of people who will die? Does life exists on some other planets where these souls will take rebirth or is there no such thing? If life does not exist after death, is there a purpose to existence? The original fiction ¡®Mahashoti¡¯ does throw some light on these questions. However, it is not an authentic text. It is just an imaginary story that may appear to be incredible and real at the same time. Kill the Cat There is an interesting story. The king got married to his queen and entered the bridal chamber. In the bridal chamber there was a cat, which meowed when the king entered inside. The king said ONE and took seat. Then the cat meowed again. So, the king said, TWO. When conversation between king and queen began, the cat meowed for the third time. Now the king silently pulled out his sword and cut cat¡¯s head! In the morning, when king requested for a cup of wine, the queen didn¡¯t answer. The king said ONE and before he could say TWO, the queen quickly brought a cup of wine for the king. The king had an autocratic mindset. He used fear to get his queen to obey him. A terrorist person/country makes the first move. It has been demonstrated that if you strike first, then nine out of ten times, the opposite party will surrender. But in one out of ten cases you are likely to be challenged. What can you do in such cases? To know the answer, let me repeat the story. Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings. In a village, when one man got married, his friends advised him that he should take control on the first night else his wife will dominate him for the rest of his life. The man had heard the story of king who killed the cat. So he did exactly the same what the king had done on his first night of marriage. When the cat meowed, the man counted ¡®ONE¡¯, ¡®TWO¡¯ and killed the cat when it meowed for the third time. The man was pleased that now his wife will ever remain obedient to him. In the morning, he commanded his wife to get him a glass of water. When his wife didn¡¯t answer; the man said ¡°ONE¡±; the wife said, ¡°TWO¡±; and quickly the man brought juice for his wife. However, the girl did not want to boss over her husband. She believed that love, understanding and trust are the pillars of any good and stable relationship. So when her husband brought the glass of juice for her, she smiled lovingly and said, You are my husband, I am your wife I am your sweetheart, you are my life When you said ONE, I said TWO Now, you love me and I love you The relation based on mutual regard, trust, liking and dependence is a stable and beneficial relationship. So what do we learn? The key to winning is to strike first. The terrorists know this. So they are always aggressive and try to scare you. Many times they are successful. However, sometimes they are challenged by formidable opponents. When this happens, they usually surrender and retreat. Can we trust such terrorist persons or countries? Birth of a Devil Cult This chapter is taken from the book ¡°Mahashoti¡± by Ashok Mohanty. It describes how a situation led to the birth of a devil cult called ¡°Kabarna¡±. The arrogant Prince Jugdal was defeated and overpowered while he was trying to outrage the modesty of a woman. The angry villagers punished him for this offense. They branded his forearm with a hot iron rod. Then they shaved off one half of his beard and mustache while the other half was kept intact. They tore off his costly clothes and smeared black color on different parts of his body and face. Then they drove him most ungraciously out of the village. On being shamed in public, Jugdal wanted to kill himself but his rage and desire for revenge made him change his decision. He felt that it would be too humiliating to return to his kingdom. To save himself from further humiliation, he decided to go incognito to some secluded place where no one would recognize him. Just then, his guards returned and stood before him. They had their eyes cast down, embarrassed that they had failed to save their prince. But it added to the embarrassment for the prince and flared up his temper. Bilhajar, the closest aide of Prince stepped in and said, "Forgive us, your highness, we will prefer to die than leave you. We have always been faithful to you. None of us is a coward. We tried to fight but were suddenly engulfed in a dust storm and could not see anything. It must have been some black magic done by the enemy." Jugdal''s anger was subsided a little bit. He told Bilhajar that having been defeated, he cannot go back to his kingdom; rather he would remain and do what he could to avenge his honor. But the faithful guards refused to leave their prince. They branded their forearms with a hot iron rod and shaved off one side of their beard to show support for their leader. They vowed to live in exile and wait for the right opportunity to avenge their defeat. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. Prince Jugdal was moved on seeing the devotion of his guards. He declared, "We are one family. From now on, we are all brothers. We, who have shaved one side of our beard, will be known as ''Kabarna, The Half Cut''. One day we will conquer the entire planet." The book described how this minor event led to the creation of a new cult called ''Kabarna, The Half Cut''. A similar episode has been described in the famous novel ¡°Gulliver''s Travels¡±, written by Johnathan Swift, published in 1726. Gulliver discovers that there''s a bitter factional dispute raging between those who break open their eggs at the little end (Little-Endians) and those who choose the big end (Big-Endians). It''s pointless, but it''s just the way how people group together to fight. The king''s son was injured trying to break his egg on the smaller end (the traditional way of egg breaking). Then the king decreed that no one may break an egg by using the smaller end. This caused a great uproar among many and soon there were two factions; one who supported the move and the other that opposed it. Every cult originates when some leader either by his persuasion or by coercion makes some people do some silly things. Then he makes these people his partners and together they drive more people to follow them. The sense of partnership or connectedness triggers upward spirals leading to the growth of the evil cult. The story of Mahashoti is about an evil cult that originated from hate and anger. The devils used that cult as an opportunity to wreak vengeance on the good people. His evil deeds brought him shame; He lost his kingdom, wealth, and fame Thus, a fallen prince in great disgrace; Lived incognito to hide his face And when they formed into ¡®a cult¡¯ of mindless people, they became a nuisance for the world. They ruined the weak and took delight; They cherished the evil with force of might These mindless people met their doom; In a doleful state, in horror and gloom
