Chapter 1: Suddenly Time Is Frozen
It was a sunny morning when a boy was being violently woken up by his younger sister. Who were the boy and girl? Well, it was Endo Yuki & Endo Ai, Ai was waking up her older brother since he had overslept for the first day of his second year.
¡°Brother wake up, your gonna be late for your first day of school¡±
¡°I¡¯m already awake¡±
As Yuki was getting dressed he felt a pain in his gut, Yuki ignored the pain thinking it was just him being hungry since he hadn¡¯t eaten any breakfast yet. He continued his morning by finishing getting dressed and eating breakfast alone since his younger sister had already left for her all-girl school.
As Yuki left his house and walked to the train station to get to school, he had the same pain in the gut as he had when he first woke up. Again he ignored the pain and continued walking towards the train station.
¡°I think something I ate last night might¡¯ve made my stomach upset¡±
Yuki got to school, where he met his childhood friend Ide Shoji who was a second-year like Yuki. They became friends when they both were playing at a park nearby Yuki¡¯s house.
¡°Hey Yuki, long time no see¡±
¡°We just saw each other last week Shoji¡±
¡°I know I¡¯m just joking¡±

They talked to each other while walking to their classrooms, they had different classrooms but their classrooms were across each other which was great for the childhood friends.
Once Yuki walked into his classroom he noticed he didn¡¯t have many people in his classroom that he knew so he decided to pull out his phone to pass the time until his sensei came into the classroom.
While playing a mobile game he enjoyed playing, he felt another gut pain but it was worse than before. It had felt like someone stabbed him, or something like that due to him never feeling the feeling of being stabbed.
¡°Why has my gut hurting the whole morning, what if I lay my head down hopefully it helps it¡±
To calm himself down he lays his head on his desk while his sensei walks into class and introduces herself.
¡°My name is Shoda so just call me Shoda Sensei¡±
He then lifted his head off the desk after noticing he had fallen asleep but when he opened his eyes and looked around his classroom he noticed everyone was staying still sorta like they were frozen in time.
¡°Wait why is everyone still like if they were frozen¡±
¡°Even Shoda sensei was frozen¡±
Yuki decided to leave his classroom to seek help and left towards his friend¡¯s classroom. He entered his classroom and had seen his friend Shoji also frozen in time.
He decided to go to leave his school and go into the city to go seek help just in case if others were not frozen. As he was walking through the streets of the city he noticed they were cars, birds, and people frozen in time.
¡°I think everything is frozen, but why would I be able to move?¡±
This scenery he was seeing reminded him of a light novel he read a while ago but as he kept walking he stopped suddenly.
Yuki saw someone moving from far, at first he was making sure he wasn¡¯t seeing things but kept seeing the person move. He could tell that it was a blonde hair girl, she had a slim figure that pops out and makes her look beautiful, there was something that stood out which was her clothes it reminded him of his little sister school uniform.
¡°I think I see someone moving finally, maybe they know what¡¯s going on¡±
¡°Wait, but why could they also move if no one else so far could move?¡±
Yuki was thinking of a possibility on how come only they could move while everyone else is frozen in time. While he was lost in his thoughts he noticed the girl trying to hide in a big group of people. He tried walking to where the girl was but once he started walking again time suddenly unfroze.
When time unfroze itself he noticed the girl had left and after realizing he couldn¡¯t talk to the girl anymore, he decided to go back to school.

Chapter 2 : Hirabayashi Kaoru
It was a sunny morning, a girl was rubbing her eyes just as she heard her alarm go off
Who was the girl that was getting dressed to go to school? Well, that was Hirabayashi Kaoru who had blonde beautiful hair and a slim figure that put her with up popular models.
Her parents were divorced since she was young and due to her not getting along with either of her families, she lived alone in an apartment. She attends an all-girls school since her father was protective of her and wanted the ¡°best for her¡±
She left her apartment right after eating breakfast and walked to her class since it was a close 5-minute walk from her apartment. On her way there she felt a pain in her gut, she was thinking of many possibilities on what could the pain be or what could be the cause of the pain.
She arrived at school and put away her shoes in her shoe locker, Kaoru was a loner at school since at a young age she couldn¡¯t make friends, and the divorce of her parents at a young age, affected her deeply, which led her to not trust many people.
Kaoru was a shy antisocial beautiful girl as described by her classmates, she normally didn¡¯t talk to others but there was an expectation towards one person. There was one girl she talked to, she consider the person a close friend.
The person was Endo Ai, a girl who was a first-year student. Ai was a sweet girl who was popular and listened to whoever needed her.
They started talking when Kaoru didn¡¯t bring anything to eat for lunch and decided to go buy something at the cafeteria. There was Ai who had just bought the last two sandwiches, which was what Kaoru was going for lunch.
Ai saw Kaoru was looking anxious since there wasn¡¯t anything else she could buy besides something to drink which was all leftover

¡°No, well yeah but it seems they¡¯re all out, it¡¯s okay though,¡± said Kaoru nervous talking to Ai
¡°Are you sure, this is one of the last two that were available?¡±
¡°Yes don¡¯t worry about it,¡±
¡°Thank you very much,¡± said Kaoru as she grabbed the sandwich
¡°Umm, what¡¯s your name?¡±
¡°It¡¯s Endo Ai, I¡¯m a first year glad to meet you¡±
¡°What¡¯s your name?¡±
¡°It¡¯s Hirabayahsi Kaoru¡±
Ever since that incident they hang out when they cant during lunch or during passing periods, they¡¯ve become close friends during all those periods they were hanging out.
As Kaoru got to her classroom, she sat down in her seat and looked outside the window, she could see people from afar walking to their destinations
While other students kept walking in she kept looking out the window wishing she could have somebody who cared and would be there for her
As she continued to look out the window, she spaced out, and eventually, she came back to her senses when she noticed time had passed by
Kaoru was listening to her homeroom teacher when she felt the same pain in her gut as she did in the morning. She raised her hand and asked to go to the nurse, her teacher let her go.
When she was heading towards the nurse, she noticed it was silent, normally there would at least be the teacher¡¯s voice be heard
¡°Wouldn¡¯t there be noise coming from other classrooms since class started already?¡± she thought to herself
She ignored it and kept going towards the nurse, but she couldn¡¯t shake this weird feeling. She arrived at the nurse room, and tried getting the nurse¡¯s attention but noticed she was staying still almost as she was frozen in time
¡°Hello?¡±
She later came to the conclusion that she was indeed frozen in time. She went back to her classroom running, confused she realized everyone else was frozen as she entered her classroom again
She made the decision to go into the city to see if it was only her school that was frozen in time. Kaoru made it into the town, and tried to get someone''s attention to seek help but noticed no one was moving.
As she kept trying to seek someone''s help, she saw someone in the far distance moving. She noticed it was a boy around her age, she resembled someone she knew but couldn¡¯t remember who the boy looked like.
She noticed the boy looking in her direction and decided to hide behind a group of people. The boy started walking towards her, Kaoru kept trying to hide behind people hoping time unfroze or something would happen.
Out of a sudden time unfroze itself, she noticed people were moving and they were staring at her but she didn¡¯t care because she took the chance from it.
She ran with all her speed back to her school, hoping to lose the boy. She lost the boy and felt relieved that she did, she stopped running
Kaoru said to herself while trying to catch her breath

Chapter 3 : Time freezes Again (Pt 1)
It was a cloudy morning when a boy had just woken up for school and started thinking about a certain event that took place yesterday.
¡°Why was everything frozen like if time stopped? Why could that girl move while everyone else was frozen in time? Why can I move too?¡±
His thoughts got disturbed when he heard his younger sister telling him to come to eat breakfast, he finished getting dressed and went to go to eat breakfast.
¡°You look a bit more focused this morning like if something was on your mind?¡±
¡°I¡¯ve just been thinking about something lately but it¡¯s nothing¡±
¡°What¡¯s on your mind?¡±
¡°It¡¯s nothing just something that happened that has been on my mind but it¡¯s not important¡±
¡°Okay then if you need someone to listen to you, your younger sister is here for you at all times¡±
Yuki left his house and started walking to the train station. While walking he couldn¡¯t stop thinking about the incident from the day before and of the mystery girl who could also move

As he kept thinking, it happened again, his gut started feeling the same pain as yesterday
¡°Again, why?¡±
This time he didn¡¯t ignore the pain again he started thinking maybe the pain was receiving, maybe it had something to do with yesterday¡¯s incident just maybe
¡°It couldn¡¯t be a coincidence that my gut has been hurting, four times in the span of two days¡±
As the pain finally went away he got to school and there he met up with his childhood friend Shoji in the shoe lockers
¡°Hey Yuki, so you had something you wanted to ask me?¡±
¡°Yeah, I need to ask you something important, come with me to the library¡±
They arrived at the library and began to talk
¡°So what¡¯s up?¡±
¡°Okay let¡¯s say that time was frozen which caused everyone to be frozen as well but for some reason, you and a girl weren¡¯t, what would you do?¡±
¡°That sound something out of a strange mystery light novel but I would probably try finding out what caused time to be frozen, then I would try to find a connection between me and the girl or something that could explain the reason why we weren¡¯t frozen in time¡±
¡°Why are you asking me something so detailed?¡±
¡°Am thinking of writing a light novel and wanted to create a plot similar to that¡±
¡°Oh well that makes sense then since as a kid I remember you would always read light novels¡±
¡°Is that all though?¡±
¡°Yes, thank you Shoji¡±
¡°No problem tha¡¯s what bestfriends are for¡±
They both went to their classrooms since class was about to start, Yuki thought about what Shoji would do and decided that he would investigate this mystery of time freezing
¡°Is there a connection between me and the girl that causes us to not be frozen in time?¡±
¡°I need to get in contact with that girl, I need her help to solve this¡±
As he was thinking of a way of contacting the mystery girl, his stomach started hurting like before
This time the pain he was feeling was a bit different than the others, it felt worse as something worse was hitting him, he decided to lay his head on his desk again
As he laid his head on his desk he closed his eyes for a split second, when he opened them he noticed everyone was frozen again
He knew this was his chance to get in contact with the girl, with that Yuki left his classroom while running towards the same place he found the girl hoping she would be there again
Chapter 4 : Time freezes Again (Pt 2)
It was the day after the incident that didn¡¯t let Kaoru sleep at all, she kept turning while trying to fall asleep but couldn¡¯t because of the things that took place the same day
It was now morning she was thinking back on the events that took place yesterday, she was trying to think about why time would freeze and who was the boy that could also move too
¡°I¡¯m pretty sure he saw me when I was trying to hide¡±
Kaoru got out of her bed and got ready for school since it was a Friday, which meant she could spend more time solving this mystery of time freezing during the weekend, Kaoru finished getting dressed and ate breakfast then left for school
On her way, she felt a pain in her gut like yesterday, at first she was caught off guard but then she gained her composure back
¡°This pain has to be a sign or something related to the events from yesterday¡±
She made it to school and was putting her shoes away when someone called out to her, it was Ai asking her how her morning was

Ai took out her phone and gave it to Kaoru, on the screen was Ai phone number
¡°Thanks, same if you ever need anything don¡¯t mind contacting me¡±
¡°Well I¡¯ll be heading out now since class is about to start¡±
¡°Bye then, talk to you later¡±
Kaoru was going to her classroom distracted by the fact that she got her best friends phone number it was the first phone number besides family that she had on her phone
Kaoru got to her classroom, sat down, and looked outside at the same place she was looking at yesterday
She noticed there were a lot of people like yesterday, not only that but she also remembered the same place where she met the boy
He looked like an average-looking boy with black hair from what she saw that day, she thought the boy wasn¡¯t special looking
The pain she felt in the morning now on her mind
¡°Could it be a sign of some sort or have a connection with time freezing?¡±
Today she only felt the pain once, less than before but she still felt the same pain as yesterday
She was thinking if the pain could be a trigger for time to freeze or at least be involved in some way
As she kept thinking, she then decided to replicate what happened yesterday to find out if maybe her existence could be a cause of time freezing. She kept looking out like yesterday then it happened her gut started hurting again
She didn¡¯t expect it to work, she had to withstand the pain first though then closed her eyes, the pain eventually stopped but she opened her eyes to see everyone was frozen in time again
Kaoru was a step closer to solving the cause of the mystery, she found out that she was indeed one of the causes of time freezing. Another thought came to her mind if she has a pain in the gut and can move while everyone else is frozen.
¡°Does that mean it''s the same for that boy that can also move?¡±
¡°What if he is another cause of time freezing?¡±
¡°I need his help to solve this¡±
Kaoru knew what she had to do but didn¡¯t know if she could sense she was having anxiety from just thinking of meeting a random boy. She gathered up her courage and ran out of the classroom to go into town, hoping to find the boy.
Chapter 5 : First Encounter
It was a cloudy morning when a boy and a girl were running through the streets while time was suddenly frozen
They were both heavily breathing from the running they both had to do, then they came in contact with each other, Yuki was the one to start their conversation
¡°I guess we had the same idea huh¡±
¡°Yeah,¡±
Kaoru was still having a hard time talking to a person who she¡¯s never talked to before, the thing that made it worse was that it was a boy who she was gonna have to talk to
¡°Wait first before we start talking, what is your name if you don¡¯t mind me asking?¡±
¡°It¡¯s ¡ Hirabayahsi Kaoru¡±
¡°What is your name?¡±
¡°Rude of me to ask you for your name when I didn¡¯t even tell you mine, sorry for that¡±
¡°It¡¯s Endo Yuki¡±
¡°Is it okay for me to call you by your first name?¡±

¡°Yeah I hoped you would be here to try to figure this out together¡±
¡°Do you know why time is suddenly freezing?¡±
¡°Sorta I¡¯ve only figured one thing out¡±
¡°What is it?¡±
¡°I¡¯m a cause of time freezing, I don¡¯t know why but when I get a certain pain in my gut a few moments after time feezes¡±
¡°Wait you said a gut pain right?¡±
¡°Yes, that reminds me I wanted to ask you if maybe you too also get them?¡±
¡°Yes, I do I know exactly what you¡¯re talking about¡±
¡°I get the exact pain in my gut and a few moments after time freezes just as you said¡±
¡°Then that means that I¡¯m a cause of it too correct?¡±
¡°Well if we say my theory is 100% correct then yes you would also be a cause of this mystery¡±
¡°I¡¯ve tested it once already and it worked but I don¡¯t want to say it¡¯s fully correct since I still could be wrong¡±
¡°Yeah I understand, but how did you come up with this theory of yours?¡±
¡°I just decided to do replicate the same movements as before and it worked, when I noticed time froze¡±
¡°I was pretty happy that it had worked, but going through that gut pain again was pretty painful¡±
¡°Yeah, it sucks doesn¡¯t it¡±
Kaoru was noticing her anxiety about talking to Yuki was fading away, it was like she¡¯s known him for a long time, she¡¯s only felt that feeling with another person and that was Ai
¡°Hey though you¡¯re pretty smart for making that theory, I don¡¯t think I would¡¯ve come up with it¡±
¡°I feel like we¡¯re pretty close to solving this now, we¡¯re a step closer now¡±
While Yuki kept thinking about Kaoru theory, Koaru herself was freaking out inside from Yuki compliment, she was blushing
Yuki finally looked at Kaoru and saw that her face was red
¡°Are you feeling well? Your face is red?¡±
¡°Yeah I¡¯m okay,¡± said Kaoru while hiding her face with her shirt
After they both got their composure back they decided to exchange contacts to contact each other when something happens or when the other discoveries something new
Chapter 5.5 : Planning
It was late in the afternoon when Kaoru was lying down in her bed, she was thinking to herself about today¡¯s encounter with Yuki
¡°He¡¯s pretty naive but he¡¯s kind from what I could tell from our conversation¡±
Yuki last name was stuck in Kaoru mind, she knew Endo was also the last name from Ai, she was thinking of asking Ai if she had a brother named Yuki
¡°I might have to ask Ai about her family next time I see her, I hope it isn¡¯t weird to ask her¡±
While she kept thinking about Ai, she got a text from Yuki on her phone, the message read
¡°Hey¡±
Kaoru was a bit surprised about getting a text from Yuki but opened it since she felt it was rude to leave him on delivered for too long, she responded to the text

Yuki was staring at his phone while debating if he should contact Kaoru, he found her attractive, so he wanted to get to know her, he eventually decided to text her
¡°Hey¡±
¡°Hey¡±
They texted for a while about if either one of them has had any gut pains, Yuki tried his best to flirt with her without giving it away that he found her attractive
Now that he was texting and thinking about Kaoru another thought came to him, it was her school uniform that she was wearing when they came to encounter with each other, it had the same emblem as his little sister school uniform
¡°She didn¡¯t have the same uniform as Ai, but the same emblem, could she be older than Ai?¡±
¡°I know each year has different color uniforms, Ai is only a first-year, could she be a second-year like me?¡±
¡°I might have to ask Ai if she knows Kaoru¡±
As he kept texting Kaoru he came up with a nice date or meetup plan for the next day since he wanted to get to know her, so he decided to ask her out for lunch the next day
¡°Kaoru would you like to meet for lunch tomorrow and go shopping in different stores?¡±
¡°What stores would we shop at?¡±
¡°We could go to the mall if you¡¯d like?¡±
¡°Sure, I wouldn¡¯t mind¡±
After saying goodnight to each other Yuki was already planning his outfit for the next day
Chapter 6: Date (Pt 1)
It was a Saturday morning, Yuki had the day off since it was now the weekend, he slept in that morning but got out of bed at 10 am
Yuki went to the kitchen to make himself some breakfast where he could see his younger sister eating breakfast
¡°About time you get out of bed¡±
¡°I was tired from school and I¡¯ve had some crazy days lately okay¡±
¡°Okay well I¡¯m going out with friends for lunch and probably hang out with them after for a while, I¡¯ll be home for dinner so just eat lunch without me¡±
¡°Alright I¡¯ll be out today too and I¡¯ll be home by dinner too¡±
¡°Are you going out with a friend or maybe it is your girlfriend?¡±
¡°Nope just a friend¡±
¡°You need to find a girlfriend already I want a sister in law¡±
¡°Just because someone becomes my girlfriend doesn¡¯t mean I¡¯m going to marry them¡±
¡°Okay but get out there if you want to meet someone maybe I can help you, I have some pretty friends you know¡±

Yuki and Ai kept talking about other subjects then after they finished breakfast they both left to their rooms
¡°It¡¯s 10 am right now I still got about 2 hours before our lunch date¡±

Yuki ended up going on his phone to pass time when he noticed the time it was already 11 am, 1 hour until their date started
¡°I guess it¡¯s time to get ready now, Ai already left so she can¡¯t help me pick out a outfit¡±
¡°I guess I got to do this alone this time¡±
Yuki ended up choosing a outfit that was a bit basic but it made him look better then normally since he never really got dressed
¡°I don¡¯t think it¡¯s bad to go with a basic outfit since I don¡¯t know much about fashion¡±
¡°I think it¡¯s a good time to leave now¡±
Yuki finished getting ready and left 20 minutes early to the restaurant they were meeting up at, the restaurant was about 10 minute walk from Yuki house
Kaoru woke up at 9am since she had plans at noon to eat lunch with someone who she wanted to talk with
¡°It feels weird knowing I have a lunch date later today since this is the first time I¡¯ve been asked to go out with somebody¡±
¡°Hopefully I¡¯ll be able to get to know Yuki more now, I wonder if time will freeze?¡±
¡°I hope it doesn¡¯t¡±
Kaoru was nervous to meet Yuki again and was wondering how to act with him
Kaoru decided to call her close friend Ai for advice on how to act on a date
¡°Hello, Kaoru?¡±
¡°Ai¡±
¡°What¡¯s up?¡±
¡°I wanted to ask you for advice¡±
¡°How should I act during a date?¡±
¡°Wow Kaoru you surprised me there, I wouldn¡¯t have thought you had a boyfriend¡±

¡°Oh I¡¯m sorry for misunderstanding¡±

With that Kaoru calmed down and decided to eat breakfast, she finished eating cereal, she went to her bedroom to think about a few things before getting ready

¡°I did everything as always, I just did it a bit later than normal, besides that the only difference is that I¡¯m going to spend time with Yuki instead of going to school¡±
¡°I need to tell Yuki when I see him hopefully he knows something¡±
Kaoru got off her bed and started looking at her closet to look for something nice to wear
¡°I think it¡¯s time I use this dress¡±
Kaoru choose a blue and white dressed, the dress was bought some time ago from her grandmother before she passed away, it was something she treasured and hadn¡¯t worn since she thought it was only to be used during special events
¡°Grandma said to wear this for an important event, I think my first date counts¡±
Kaoru finished getting ready and left to the restaurant they were getting lunch at
Chapter 7: Date (Pt 2)
Yuki got to the restaurant first, the place they decided to eat at was a nice restaurant that had opened recently, which made it really popular
Yuki waited outside of the restaurant waiting for Kaoru since he had got there about 20 minutes early
While waiting for Kaoru, Yuki decided to play a mobile game to pass the time, 10 minutes had passed until he felt someone tap on his shoulder, it was Kaoru
¡°Did you wait too long?¡±
¡°No, I just got here not too long ago¡±
While Yuki and Kaoru were talking they were both looking at each other¡¯s outfits
¡°You look beautiful, with that dress on¡±
¡°Thank you ¡¡± said Kaoru while blushing
¡°... You also look great, I like what you did your hair¡±
¡°Thanks, it took me a while to do¡±
¡°Well, should we go inside?¡±
