A few times Connor came, he spoke to her, but she could not speak to him. Amillia could not even think about what Connor had told her because those who were watching her would then know.
It was¡Difficult¡Especially when she felt immediately better and felt fuller when he was there.
Just him talking or thinking, even though she wasn¡¯t trying to pay attention, seemed to help her. And that was a reason why it was so difficult, because she wanted to hear him, wanted to talk to him, to see him¡
Getting back into the routine was harder than she thought, she told herself that it had not been long that she did all this stuff without any problems and that she was to do it again.
As her watcher went for a daily update on her progression, she just sat down and watched the pretty¡¯s, that didn¡¯t seem to be so pretty anymore.
Suddenly, her arm felt the touch of another, and she looked up to see Cameron, feeling a slight change in his aura¡But it was vanishing¡
She went to ask him how he had found her, but he silenced her and said, "I cannot stay here, I have to go back. She has been so worried about me and if it''s my last trip, I no longer care, this is not how I want to spend my time."
Amillia nodded, she gripped his hand and she closed her eyes.
Her existence had changed¡Her instincts had changed¡
Now she knew of another path and seeing this one as being something that made her feel empty, she wanted to go with Cameron!
Actually, Amillia was smiling, feeling a nice feeling and one that made her feel lighter! She just couldn¡¯t wait to experience more!
The brightness in her eyes were making things hard for her to see, she was even worried that Cameron had let her go and that she was trapped in some kind of white box.
"It will pass." She heard Cameron say, and it did.
Before, when she had brought Connor back from her world, it hadn¡¯t been like this but¡
Looking up at the sun, squinting to its brightness, Amillia could only think that it was because she had been inside a house and that it had been night-time then.
Amillia looked around, there was something that she noticed she had seen before that was near them. It was the see-through door and outside were those brown logs with the funny sprouting green stuff. Amillia realized this place was familiar¡That the ¡®pretty¡¯s¡¯¡Was it that the ¡®pretties were of someone¡¯s memories?
Amillia then turned to look on the other side and found her sister cleaning in the corner¡
With the sight of her sister, Amillia¡¯s mind filled up with memories.
Having stopped them from coming previously, Amillia let it happen now, feeling overwhelmed.
The human Amillia, was not like the spirit Amillia.
She found that the person she used to be was a lot more¡Different¡
Laughing, smiling, cheekiness¡She really was someone that tried to think the best of everything.
Actually, now that she remembered her memories, she still agreed with herself that her and Andrea were very different, even though they looked very similar.
Andrea was more of a negative, lonesome type person, whereas she had been the complete opposite.
Frowning to memories that felt real, yet unreal at the same time, Amillia put a hand to her aching head.
Cameron, who was watching her and remembering his own remembrance, smiled at her. He hadn¡¯t lost his memories upon returning back to the spirit world, so he didn¡¯t have to go through what Amillia was going through again.
He asked her if it had been worth leaving the spirit world behind, to which Amillia nodded.
¡A second chance was better than not knowing, even if she still gets cancer. Being here, being someone that could question, that could act more¡Herself, sounded better already.
Right, she was also the twin with more courage. Actually, now that she thought about it, she knew that she wouldn¡¯t regret this decision, she just knew it!

Watching her sister work, Amillia stood there waiting, her sister was in her own little world, like always, and she looked as though she had circles under her eyes.
Amillia couldn''t wait any longer though, so she walked up to her sister and put her hand down to her. Watching her look up, her face going from sad to shock, was giving Amillia happiness that she did not recall having while being a ¡®spirit¡¯. Already, she felt like this was a great decision!
Andrea had got up, had it known by Cameron that Amillia was really here again and gave her a hug, that reminded Amillia of strength, and she returned it.
Not only did she hear Andrea cry but herself also, and through the haze she heard Andrea say, "I can''t believe you''re here."
Amillia shook her head, saying, "I know, me either! Cameron just said he was leaving, probably never to return and I took his hand to come too!"
Andrea pulled back away from her and looked past her, "Cameron!"
As Andrea rushed into Cameron''s arms, Amillia stood there and just listened. Cameron was saying that he loved her, not just out loud but in his head also. Andrea was just happy that he was there as Amillia could tell by the way she closed her eyes and leant towards him.
It seems that the she had gotten less sleep and Amillia was sure that Andrea felt better now¡Although, shouldn¡¯t she be getting more attention!?
After all, she had literally come back from the dead!
"Ah, excuse the interruption but can I just borrow this young lady please?" Someone said, taking Andrea''s hand then and walking her away.
¡°Rude!¡± Amillia stated bluntly.
Amillia then looked around, seeing Cameron, who was obviously listening to Andrea''s thoughts and Amillia heard his thoughts on what was going on. There were a few people around, some not even looking at them but just walking past, and then there were others just sitting there talking to someone or playing with their phones.
Hang on¡Didn¡¯t they just come out of nowhere? Where was all the yelling and screaming?
But it seemed that no one was giving them any attention and Amillia looked back to see where they had come from¡It was sort of concealed but really, if one was close by they should have noticed two people suddenly appearing out of nowhere!
There was one person though, that caught her eye.
This unfamiliar person looked beyond interested in what was going on with them!
Perhaps¡Did he see us?
Amillia turned from his gaze and tried to think of why he would be that way.
Looking back at the unfamiliar person, who was currently looking towards Andrea, she saw then that he wrote something down on a little notepad.
Amillia looked at Andrea, after she had returned from her ¡®boss¡¯, and she waited till her face turned to her and tried to get her attention. But, as much as she wanted to know more about her sister getting fired, it was probably a good idea to get Andrea to think of something else¡
She got closer to Andrea, and asked, "Who is the man sitting opposite us with crossed legs and a notepad in his hands?"
Andrea slowly looked in that direction, and then looked at Amillia with raised eyebrows, "I know him. His name is Piet, I wonder why he''s here¡"
No more was said though, as her boss took her away, making Amillia frown.
"Andrea was fired, people were just making it too hard for her boss to keep her here, her boss had also told her that she had to spend a day or two in the mental ward."
When Cameron was telling her that, she understood why Andrea was being taken away by some staff, Amillia had nearly started yelling at them, she''d only just given her sister a hug and she was gone¡Only to get fired!
So not cool! She thought, knowing now that Andrea was being admitted into the mental part of the hospital.
Andrea having acted the way she did was only normal!
She was talking to Cameron, hello! So what if he was like a ghost and no one else could see him, she was only telling the truth!
Cameron stopped her from chasing after Andrea and with that she turned to see this ¡®Piet¡¯ person looking at her.
Amillia felt like hitting something, she felt like hitting Piet, she had never met him, but he had a bad aura around him and for some reason she wanted him to be the target!
Cameron dragged her along outside and after a minute¡¯s walk, he stopped.
Amillia looked up at him and saw that he wasn''t himself, he was thinking that it had been the wrong time and that he''s caused trouble.
Amillia had to say something and blurted out, "There was nothing you could have done Cameron, I think Piet made this happen."
Uh?
Why would I just say that!?
¡®I think¡¯, no, I didn¡¯t think at all!
Besides, Piet wasn¡¯t even part of the reason why Cameron was thinking as he was!
Amillia was sure that Cameron was thinking that it was the time that he had left Andrea, after a short time together, of why it was the ¡®wrong time¡¯. Then, he was thinking he caused trouble for Andrea, as if he didn¡¯t show up today, she might still have her job¡What¡¯s this got to do with Piet!?
Wanting to look at that ¡®Piet¡¯ again, Amillia felt like there was more to him and she just couldn¡¯t figure out why she felt that way!
How did she feel like she knew him when she felt like she¡¯d never seen him before?
But it was undeniable, she didn¡¯t like him and that was that!
Cameron looked at her and she saw a picture of a man walking into a garden type area, not only did that place have memories but it was indeed the same man. "Yes, that''s him."
Cameron''s thoughts took another detour, he was thinking of Connor, which Andrea had quickly told him where he was before she was taken away.
"Ok, " She said, "Let¡¯s go."
¡But Amillia didn''t move, she wasn''t too sure on how to get there.
Cameron was watching her and laughed, he had memories longer then she had hers and went back into the hospital. He showed her his thoughts of some kind of box and then a vehicle, told her that he needed Andrea''s keys and they were going to drive there.
Cameron hesitated when they were inside and Amillia could see that he wanted to see if Andrea was ok.
Amillia waited patiently for Cameron to accept that he will come back very soon anyway and followed him through some corridor. He was picturing a past event to remember where he had to go and she saw Andrea showing him the way, while doing so, she was telling him that she hadn''t found any records of him while cleaning the hospital.
That¡¯s right, they had three days together, or something like that.
Didn¡¯t Andrea say three days? Oh, and didn¡¯t they say that they had to see Connor¡¯s family as well? Which obviously meant that Cameron had to act like Connor¡
Amillia let out a small laugh, wishing to have seen it! She might not know these two twins very well, but it was obvious that they were as different to each other as she was with Andrea¡
What else did they get up to in that three days?
Cameron kept walking and turned a corner to the employee¡¯s lockers. He knew the combination, got her keys and started back again but stopping halfway through the corridor to some stairs, which lead to the car park. Through his mind, she saw her car and smiled, it was the same one that they went on all their trips together.
Ah, hello old friend!
¡Once they were in the car, they were on their way, heading towards Connor.
Volume 1, Chapter 18
Cameron seemed responsible enough to drive and he seemed to understand the road signs enough to get us out of the hospital area, making Amillia aware that two years gone and dead, didn¡¯t mean the world wouldn¡¯t change!
It felt like the world did a huge change, yet she also felt like no time at all had passed.
It was¡Just plain weird to her!
Cameron didn''t speak till he was sure that he knew where he was going and when he did, he said, "I think I''ve figured out a few things Amillia, we cannot bring Andrea and Connor to our planet. I have a feeling that they just don''t belong there, they would stand out and be known. I checked it up when our watchers went to update, we have oxygen, just not that much. I thought that was the reason why Connor had troubles at first, but it would take longer for Connor to have fainted the way he did. I think It''s because he was human. He was alive, he had a heartbeat. Do you notice that when we are there, we don''t have a heart, we don''t have sexual organs, we don''t even understand getting angry¡Did you notice that? We are not alive Amillia, Connor was, it¡¯s like he was on a death planet."
Cameron paused, probably because he had to turn somewhere, and Amillia could see the turn he was looking for in his head. Once they finally turned the corner, he continued, "And think about it, we come here, we are doomed, we get cancer and have three months to live. We cannot survive if we are together, it is a connection that we are not able to make. We cannot go back, we knew that when we teleported out, but I don''t want things to end in three months. I just don''t know how I''m going to make that happen¡"
Amillia sat there, wondering if there was something along the line of her memories or her spiritual existence for anything that would help the situation¡But couldn¡¯t find anything¡At least not right now¡
Amillia started to feel useless though, and she really questioned how she had become someone of use in the spiritual realm. Having that unique gift there, made her feel less powerful here.
Clenching her hands and nodding her head, Amillia was determined!
She will find something!
Another voice suddenly came into Amillia''s head, changing her line of thoughts, ¡®Life, mife, crife, bife, sife, ah stuff it¡Back, sack, oh yeah! Mack, pack. That¡¯ll do. For the love of my life, there''s no turning back. A shame you don''t come in, all in one pack. Ok¡Now I''m just losing my manly status¡Besides, does that make any sense, she is one pack dammit, one pack of two lovely tits and eyes¡Perhaps I should say eyes first uh, she has one pack of two lovely eyes¡And boobies¡¡¯
"You hear him don''t you." Cameron asked, he was smiling at her as he had caught her laugh all of a sudden.
"Yes," She giggled at Connor''s next thought, ¡®Pleeeeeeease come and see me again, if you don¡¯t, I''ll go insaaaaaaaaaane!¡¯
Amillia couldn''t wait any longer, she felt his connection and teleported, scaring him to fall over.
Amillia¡¯s eyes sparkled as she held out her hand to help him up and Connor looked at it and wondered if it were possible. Her nod was all he needed, telling her that she didn''t have to ask him twice!
He took her hand gently, stopping a moment, just happy to have a real hand of hers in his, and then finally got up.
Once he was up, he pulled her close, put his hands in her hair and kissed her. Amillia was not sure if she had expected that or not but she didn''t pull back and realized that it was what she wanted too. She tried to show how sorry she was and how much she appreciated that he had still talked to her when she was being watched.
What was weird though, was that she didn¡¯t understand why he was so devoted to her after so little time.
She wasn¡¯t even who she was when she had been a spirit yet¡
Remembering that he was already assuming that she was the ¡®type¡¯ to poke out her tongue at him, she was somewhat wondering if he might have already known that she was different or something!
Her thoughts slowly slurred into the nothingness as she kissed the man back. It wasn¡¯t her first kiss, so she even tried to win and dominate, but Connor didn¡¯t have a bar of that and continued to advance in rank through her body¡¯s defenses¡
"Oh wow, Connor, didn''t think a sleaze like you would get that far with a woman."
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Connor pulled back, silently apologising, and turned to whom had just spoken, and said, "If only you knew me Sarah, now all you''re going to be is jealous! I''ve got my girl now, but you¡¯re still lookin¡¯ for a date!"
Amillia was still a gust with the kiss that she just had and didn''t realize that he had got her hand and started walking somewhere. Connor just about bumped into Cameron on their way out, which stopped them walking.
Amillia just smiled up at him and watched Connor slap Cameron on the shoulder, and said, "Hey bro, sup, where''s Andrea? Wait, hang on, not a great place to talk, follow me." Amillia felt his hand tighten slightly over hers as she followed him, she tightened hers back, in his reply to his poem that he had made for her. Amillia couldn''t understand how his mind was always thriving, how he was always trying to impress her¡Even if his poems didn¡¯t make much sense¡
After Connor ¡®signed off¡¯, even though it wasn¡¯t his time to sign off just yet, he got everything he¡¯d need out of his locker and then continued to lead them elsewhere¡
They were outside again now and walking towards the water, giving Amillia slight memories to some days with Andrea. Connor was looking at her, he said, "I know, Andrea told me."
Amillia liked how he at least tried to read her mind, at least that one he got right!
He interrupted her before she could reply, "And right now you''re thinking about me reading your mind?"
Amillia laughed, he was relentless¡And again right!
They had walked down to some kind of street with some people and a van. Connor was leading the way and Amillia saw a few people wave to them and start walking over.
Before they were in ear shot, Connor spoke, "Cameron I want you to see this."
Amillia turned to Cameron and caught onto his feelings, he did realize that he had missed some time of his brother''s life and he wondered what that was.
Curiosity filled them both as they finished the last stride to Connor''s friends, who said, "Hey mate, who¡¯s this? She''s hot!"
Connor lifted their hands to their guest, and said, "Yeah, meet my girl, Amillia. Amillia this is Pete and Shane."
Amillia went to shake their hands but Connor didn''t let her go, so she just nodded and said, "Hi."
Connor swung their hands over to his brother, and said, "This is my brother Cameron."
His friends nearly fell over, seeing a double of Connor, "Wow man, you never said that you had a twin, holy crap, that''s wicked! Hey, you here for dinner or what?"
Connor looked at Cameron, "Here for dinner?"
Cameron turned to Connor, Amillia could tell he wanted to talk but he gave in, feeling like he should learn something new from his brother, "Sure why not."
Dinner was cheap, meaning free, and exhilarating, Amillia thought as she felt like she was tasting food for the first time. Connor had laughed at her a few times so Amillia decided that she was finished!
Connor pictured her eating and she poked her tongue out at him, then he pictured her tongue in his mouth¡
Shaking her head, blushing, Amillia was going to have to learn to give as well as she took with this boy!
Connor stood up, Cameron also, Amillia was certain Cameron could not wait any longer to talk and be done, so that he can go and see Andrea.
Over the last half an hour Connor had revised some of his past on the streets, Amillia heard and saw it to be quite a difficult time but with his brightened attitude she was sure he made it sound better than actually going through it.
He spoke of getting ¡®moved on¡¯, and how he would ¡®borrow¡¯ power from elsewhere to charge up his phone. Connor also stated that he¡¯d slept on the ground and got bitten all the time by insects and how when it rained, that they were the worst of times¡
Amillia didn¡¯t know if Connor knowing upon where to go to get some ¡®free grub¡¯ was saddening or something that made her pity him. Then, on that one particular day that there wasn¡¯t any ¡®free grub¡¯ that he knew of, he either went hungry, paid to go somewhere or went to some church place.
Connor wasn¡¯t much for religion, he stated that he figured out a long time ago that if there were a god, then life wouldn¡¯t hold so much suffering¡And Amillia was just as Apathetic.
It was her brother¡
Thinking of her own brother, Amillia had a moment of shock¡She had not thought of him once and now¡Now that she had, she really wanted to see him!
Would it be possible?
Ohmigod¡My niece! My cute, lovable niece! I want to see her!
Looking at Cameron, only to find him becoming more and more impatient, Amillia sighed¡
She guessed that she would have to wait to see her brother and niece, and her sister in law¡
They had time¡Not much of it though, because if she was anything like Cameron and only had three months here¡But it still should be enough time to go and see her family at least once though!
They started walking away, waiting for Connor to say goodbye to his friends, and as soon as they were together Cameron said, "How long has passed? I figured it was at least two weeks, maybe three, at the most six"
Connor looked at him, Amillia could see that he had news, when he looked at Amillia, he said, "Don''t say a word. I will explain."
Cameron was looking at both of them but Amillia hadn''t gotten all the gossip yet!
She saw Andrea being upset, when they had left for the spirit world, and that she hadn''t gone out of her way to see Cameron. Also, that Connor was low on sugar, he had to eat chocolate bars for the next day to feel normal, making sure that he could work¡He didn¡¯t go to the hospital, to which made Amillia a bit upset¡What if he needed assistance? He had stopped breathing after all, so he should have gone!
"Just tell me please." Cameron had a hold on Connor''s shoulder, showing his desperation.
Connor said, "It''s been 8 weeks, Andrea wasn''t that great after you left, she went to work and all. But as far as I was aware, she didn''t see you. She hasn''t talked to me much since actually, I went back home and tried to talk to Amillia but after a few times of being pretty much shutdown, I went back to Andrea''s, I figured it was the next best thing. She was quiet for days, I didn''t think to ask her for another three days after if she had seen you Cameron. We had a bit of difficulty after that with our families, ah we lied to them and Andrea nearly got caught out by her brother, and they had a big argument, which sort of followed after with another argument in my family. You would have been proud Cameron, Andrea talked back to our dad, she was already angry, and he just kept making her angrier, it was pretty funny actually!"
Volume 1, Chapter 19
Amillia was watching some of the scene in Connor¡¯s mind, of Andrea yelling at his father¡
That ¡®he should be glad that he''s still got a son¡¯, that ¡®that son was a good person and does great poems and that if she were his partner, she wouldn''t like having a father figure like him in her life!¡¯. She was indeed angry, like Connor had said, which seemed unlike her.
Connor, though, had not stopped talking, "Not long after that Andrea was actually sick in bed, I tended to her and she got over it and wanted to go back to work. She transferred back to the other hospital only recently¡So, without too much detail that''s how it went."
Amillia nodded to Cameron, "She did look pretty cool standing up to your father like that."
Connor continued, "After another week, things were going back to normal, but Andrea and I knew each other. She went to work, I went to work and we rallied up after at each other¡¯s houses. We would talk, she told me that her new job didn''t seem to have Cameron show up, and that she missed him. Andrea was unsure whether to go back to see you Cameron, she didn''t want to hear bad news, not that it mattered too much, as she seemed pretty tired all the time. She and I would talk and eat about an hour of her being home and then she was already in bed till morning. I really don''t want you mad at me bro, but I had to act like you one day there at her brother''s house¡Andrea didn''t like the idea, but it actually turned out alright, we didn''t touch or anything but I told him about your job and stuff, so at least we talked and what not. I think he liked me actually. Oh, I mean, I think he liked you.¡±
Cameron lost his frown for a second to have a smile, but then his frown returned, "I have to go and see her, I''ll be back."
Amillia watched as Cameron teleported, she wasn''t sure how he finally managed to work out the calling system, but it looks like he had.
Connor was looking at her, wondering if it was ok to resume what they had going before they had bumped into Cameron earlier.
Amillia seemed to forget everything else but the recent kiss that they shared and followed Connor when he took her hand.
***
Connor opened his house to let her in and Amillia was expecting him to turn and just kiss her endlessly, but he didn''t¡
All that time in the car was only awkward because she couldn¡¯t help but wonder more deeply in getting more passionate with one particular man.
It had been a long time, and just like Connor, she had been with others before but not too many.
She had more of a party life prior to her death and her experiences were more so of one-night stands but already¡She felt things were different with Connor.
Seeing that he was thinking and acting so normally¡It angered her!
But after he kicked off his shoes, he took her for a walk down a hallway, into a bedroom¡And that¡¯s when she felt like he might have been suppressing his urges and wants all this time, as she heard him tell himself to calm down and don¡¯t think so much!
Amillia''s feelings started to go fluttering in her stomach and she was just about to turn him herself and kiss him, when he pushed her onto the bed. She let out a little sound of fright when she hit the bed and heard him laugh at her.
As she tried to sit up, she saw him rummaging about, getting out a notebook. She had seen a lot of what he had thought of while she wasn''t around was in fact her and she didn''t understand what he was waiting for, what he was doing!?
Amillia saw that he was nervous as he said, "I want you to know something Amillia, I''ve already figured out that you¡¯ll probably get cancer like Cameron. Yes, Andrea told me, and I wanted you to know how special you were¡Are¡To me, and to not waste any time. There is something that I want to do, especially if It''s only three months with you."
Amillia watched Connor come closer to her, seeing his devotion and put the pieces of paper up, so that he could read them.
With a quick, awkward clearing of his throat, Connor spoke, "These may not match the situation exactly, I''m still not the best at putting two words together, but I want you to hear the difference between them, this one is called ¡®My life¡¯ and I wrote this not long after Cameron died¡The first time.

I''m in a small world of my own, just a couple of friends to play alone.
No luck, no chance, It''s no easy little prance.
My life is boring, my life is bad, I''m not a tiger to run around mad.
There''s no such thing as giving and getting, For the world is all greedy and no letting.
My life is weird, my life is hard, no people to trust, no people to love.¡±
Seeing Connor take a deep breath, he continued, not leaving her anytime to think too much, ¡°Amillia, you changed my life, my poems were dead, they showed little good feelings and happiness. I feel more alive now than I did before Cameron died."
Amillia watched, now willingly waiting as he turned to the other page, sighing and he said, "This one is only for you and it¡"
She saw him clear his throat and say, ¡®oh god¡¯ in his head as he got on a knee, continuing, "This one is called ¡®Simple Vow¡¯.
I think about you day and night, you are the flame that gives me light.
It''s a weird feeling I have for you, by the look in your eyes you feel it too.
I love how you look at me with that cute face, I will treasure it, even if you''re on my case.
When we embrace electricity goes through me, I''m glad hugs and kisses have no fee.
So with this ring and love I have for you." Connor held up a ring and looked at her, asking if she would marry him¡
Marry?
Stunned, Amillia had never thought that Connor had thought so far!
How in the world did he keep these thoughts from her!?
¡®Especially if it¡¯s only three months with you¡¯. Those words echoed in her head like a drum. On one side, her feelings of this were only sad, but on the other, she wanted to make the best of her time¡The best¡Of her time¡
Well¡She liked this man. Why not!?
Amillia let out a tear and nodded hopelessly.
Connor then started to put the ring on, and said, "I will never ever feel in the blue."
Amillia was speechless, she just got up and dived at Connor, making them fall to the floor and kissed him.
"I''m sorry I didn''t see you all the time, love. After Andrea told me about the cancer coming back, I spent a couple of days thinking about what I wanted and how I wanted to go about things. I saw no other option, I wanted you in my life for as long as it could happen." Amillia went to sit up but he pulled her close again, and continued, "My head has been spinning with words and somehow I remembered that first poem I said to you tonight and I thought about how my life used to be and how depressing it was. I was miserable! And then, I would think of now, well last week, where you may not have been real, but I felt great! And once I knew of how I felt, I wanted to make things special, so I put the words in my head to make a poem with at least the idea that I was thinking of you. And whatdoya know¡It led to¡"
He didn¡¯t continue, thinking he¡¯d already been cheesy enough but Amillia understood.
He found out through his words of making a poem that he had wanted to marry her¡
Amillia was smiling, watching some of the time that she wasn''t around in his mind. She had missed out on being with him and seeing him make his decision and Amillia was glad that she had this special gift of reading his mind, as though she was there in spirit. She was just about to get more comfortable when she heard him think that he was getting too cheesy with words and would like to do something even more passionate without words¡
Amillia gave her agreement by putting her fingers up his shirt and bending to kiss his bare skin.
It was so strange¡That she rarely knew this guy.
So strange that being in love finally happened to her after all this time and¡So strange that she felt like another Amillia. Not spirit Amillia, not human Amillia but¡Another one.
One that didn¡¯t want to die a second time, one that wanted to make the best of her time, even if it¡¯s to marry someone!
She thought that being with Connor would be the same, but it wasn¡¯t.
Touching was something that she liked to do, and Connor let her do so.
Normally sex was sex¡But at this moment, she felt like she might not be able to do this very much anymore and wanted to touch this man, that would most likely be her last.
Upon still being clothed but seeing him nearly naked, Amillia felt a power that she never had before. It wasn¡¯t like a spirit could gain this power¡No, it was the power of holding the attention of someone of your desire.
Connor¡¯s face and eyes following her, his hands touching her body and his thoughts¡Full of her¡
It was great!
Of course, after a while of Amillia being the lead and making him squirm, Connor took over.
Amillia didn''t thank Connor for his beautiful poem until later, not that it mattered because Connor seemed pretty happy about himself and she was already busy doing something else. Connor had told her that she was very welcome and that he was going to try and work with Cameron to find some kind of way to stop the cancer from breaking them up. Amillia was worried with his thoughts though¡As it seemed that he had taken a great amount of time to think things through.
It may not be a very long three months, but he was already thinking of finding different ways to help the cancer without going to hospital, because there wasn''t much description in the way of who they were¡
They were dead after all and being admitted to the hospital needed a person¡¯s, an alive person¡¯s, name.
But if they really had to, they would swap names, just so they could get seen to. If Amillia used Andrea¡¯s name, it should work¡But again, the hospital had their time of trying to get rid of the cancer, but they ended up failing¡
Connor had thought that they¡¯d only use the hospital if they were sure they they¡¯d get more time¡
He had already looked up a few remedies and was hoping that one of them worked!
Amillia was getting sad thinking about it and put her hand around his neck to nibble on his ear. She slowly made her way down his neck waiting for his thoughts to change, and of cause, to her delight, they did.
This was much more enjoyable and considering that she had just gotten engaged, she thought she had enough reason to not think of cancer for a small amount of time...
Volume 1, Chapter 20
Piet had to know more, things seemed to be what he thought, and that was that the impossible was really happening. He had been finding little things that did actually explain these events, like seeing someone in the garden when he first met Andrea. Piet didn''t want to make a deal about it, but he must have sounded too convincing to Andrea when he had asked her out for dinner, as she had driven away before he could ask her some questions. Piet had no chance to explain anything, he had no idea how far in she was with what she saw, that''s when he had decided to continue to follow her.
Piet had followed her to Roma Street Parklands, he had seen her cry, seen her bring a male there and seen her with two males then that looked exactly the same. Piet had decided it was time to talk to them, but Andrea had gone elsewhere, or wasn''t working at the hospital anymore, and one of her male friends had gone as well...And her other male friend seemed have gone elsewhere too! It was hard to keep up with it all!
Just who should he follow?
One of them, he was sure, used to be a spirit, yet it seemed like he had come to be human again!
Then, the other male, they looked so alike and sometimes he wasn¡¯t even sure which was which!
Piet wasn''t fast enough on getting one of the male¡¯s home address and where Andrea worked after. He did try to stake her place out but one time he slept in and the other time he lost Andrea through a traffic light, because he had been trying to stay far enough away from her. He wasn''t in any rush, but he did want to make sure things were going as his friend, or to him, his lover, had planned¡
Piet was hanging around, trying to get a hold of them somehow, and finally he was convinced when he saw them all together earlier near the front door of the hospital. But with two of them walking off and the non-Andrea look at him as though he was a problem, he let them go. It was all so difficult to keep up with four people, the only one he could count on at the moment was the one in the mental ward. The personalities of who they all are were still confusing to Piet on who was who. Even with his special gift, it didn''t matter still, they all seemed too human instead of the those in history that he knew of.
Piet looked up from his notepad, to find one of the males pop up, and Piet wasn''t shocked this time.
¡He wanted to catch him before he lost another chance! "Hey, hey sorry to stop you there, I don''t know if you know me¡"
The man stopped and looked at him, "I believe you are Piet. You asked Andrea out on a date."
Piet wasn''t surprised with his intellect, and nodded, "Yes, yes, I did. I didn''t want to scare her. But I wasn''t sure how to go about things, I haven''t seen such a¡" Piet looked around, "I have a feeling I know what''s going on here."
The man looked at him frustrated, Piet sighed and said, "I''m sorry. I know you are one without much time."
Looking at Piet, the other man said, "What is it that you know Piet?"
Piet looked around again, and got closer to his ¡®new friend¡¯, "I would like to talk to you all at once, instead of repeating myself¡Spirits and humans are an interesting subject, don¡¯t you agree?"
Cameron took a moment, obviously surprised, "My name is Cameron, and until Andrea gets out of the mental ward you will have the most of three people, is that sufficient enough?" He said and Piet sighed.
"Yes, please." Was all he could reply with, feeling weird upon the reason he was even so polite about it. Which one could this person be? If he was being so polite, perhaps he unconsciously knew that it was her...A man?
...Well let''s hope he was wrong...
Cameron looked at him and sighed also, "I will take you to the others as soon as I talk to Andrea, I have not talked to her in two months."
Piet nodded, "Yes, I know it has been awhile. I will stay here ''til you return."
Piet sat back down and waited, he knew Cameron would take a while, to get in there in the first place and then be able to talk to her without getting caught.
Or will he go the human way?
Mmm, who is it!? Which one will be her? Could she really be one of the men?
Seeing Elitress as a man did not make him happy¡But with the way Elitress was, he wouldn¡¯t be surprised if being a man would suit her!
***
It was at least two hours when Cameron turned up again, this time from the elevator. Piet stood and walked outside to wait for him and then followed him around the corner.
Cameron then turned to Piet, and said, "I am just going to drive to Andrea''s house and come back to drop of some clothes, then we will go to Connor''s, we will talk then, is that ok?"
Piet nodded and followed him to the car, Cameron seemed to have a skip in his step, and he had trouble keeping up¡
Piet saw that Cameron obviously had something on his mind, something good, and he wasn''t going to ruin it, so silence filled the car.
Piet was trying to decide on how things would be said, he would know that they would have some questions, and he wanted to make sure that he remembered what he might need to answer, as sticking to basics might get hard. Elitress had told him many things, so for the most part, he just had to remember!
She had a certain way to ask questions and it was to help him find out who she would be but¡Did he remember? After all, a couple of decades had gone by since then and these people have only given him ideas, not hard evidence upon who was who. Of course, time wasn''t really an issue for him, it was just that he had four people...That he still hadn''t gotten to know of much of yet. After this needed conversation, surely a different future would be seen, and he''d be able to find out who was who!

Fidgeting slightly, he was a bit nervous, yet excited¡
If he could truly find her as soon as possible, and return her memories, she¡¯d only have praise for him!
Piet stayed in the car, whilst waiting for Cameron to drop off the clothes to Andrea, and then they were off again to Connor''s house.
Cameron surprised him by saying, "Amillia told me that you had a bad aura, why would she think that?"
"I defied them, came back, by the looks of it just like you." Piet replied.
Silently, he noted a small similarity to one in the past. If Amillia had thought badly of him, that was to be noted! It made him think that Elitress was not this man nor Amillia¡But if this man was not Elitress, he may be one of the others!
Both Hellsuntra and Spirituous talked this way, he could be one of the two¡
Cameron spared a moment to look at him and then back at the road.
They were on the same line then, Piet thought. At least this part he got right!
"I do believe we have some questions for you then," Cameron said.
Piet nodded, "I believe so."
Cameron looked at him again, and asked, "Can you read my mind? What where you doing in the spirit world?"
Piet answered, "No I cannot, I only have been able to read one person¡¯s mind and I was one to looked after the transpers."
The car stopped and Cameron got out, waiting for Piet to get out to lock the car. Then they walked to the front door and knocked.
Piet started to wonder if anyone was home, when someone finally opened the door. It was a really happy ¡®Andrea¡¯. Piet couldn''t help but smile to hers. This body looked glamorous, something he was willing to get used to.
Her smile vanished when she saw him, and said, "What''s he doing here?"
Piet put his hand out, hoping that she would shake his hand, she had a toothbrush in her hand and used it for an excuse to pass the shake.
"Hi, I''m Piet" he said.
"Amillia." She said but mumbled something and disappeared to the bathroom.
Cameron laughed for a short moment and Piet decided to follow.
They went inside and waited patiently, this time it was Connor that came out, putting a shirt on. "Hey bro, What''s suppenin¡¯? Oh¡Hey."
Cameron looked at his brother and nodded, "I''m good, this is Piet¡We need to talk."
Piet hadn''t had much interaction with other people for ages and he was finding this rather entertaining.
Connor stopped short, and said, "Talk talk, you know what? I''m in the mood to celebrate!"
He walked to the kitchen and got out a glass, "Wanna drink, love?"
Piet heard something faint coming from the other side of the house, and added, "I would love to celebrate with you, what are we celebrating too?"
Connor stopped to look at Piet, and nodded saying, "Hell yeah! Why not? What''s your grog mate?"
Piet shrugged, "Anything you have."
Connor was nodding his head still as he got another two glasses out, "Yeah let¡¯s get it rockin" hey, music would be great."
Cameron stepped in, "Can we please talk?"
Connor stopped, "Yeah man, shoot!" And he smiled.
Amillia came in then, wearing something more appropriate, taking the offered glass from Connor and sipping it.
Piet slightly remembered the robe beforehand, at least now she was wearing shorts and shirt. He decided she looked good in anything¡But Elitress most likely isn¡¯t this person¡But if it were Andrea¡Then at least the body was similar!
Cameron sighed, smiling, "Ok What''s the big news?"
Piet was interested too, as for celebrating, he wanted to understand why they were all so happy¡
Connor put a hand around Amillia, "Where getting hitched!"
Piet was immediately worried, things may have gone faster than he had thought!
He looked at Cameron, who was also smiling, "And, I''m going to be a father!"
¡Things were definitely going faster than he thought!
He couldn¡¯t imagine if Elitress was Andrea! She¡¯d be pissed if she found out that she was pregnant! Wait¡Maybe this was¡What she really did want¡
Piet could never understand the inner workings of his lover, Elitress. With all that she had tried to teach him or get him to do, he just could keep up with her all the time!
Perhaps¡Perhaps she done all this just for the child¡
¡Nonetheless, Piet felt shaken to all this sudden changes and really felt that things were ironic for him!
There were pats, hugs and kisses everywhere and Piet could only think that he was in the right place, yet everything was not what he imagined, "Wait! Just a minute!"
They stopped and looked at Piet, which made him shy all of a sudden, people looking at him was a strange feeling¡
"Way to go to wreck a party man." He heard Connor say.
Taking a deep breath and trying to remember his ¡®play¡¯, Piet begun talking, "Please stop, look, I have been here, done that, ok. I was a ¡®spirit¡¯, sort of still am. I really don''t think this is a good idea! I died through a car crash, time and again! It happened three times, twice in front of the love of my life, she was great, I was able to read her mind before I came back. And then I couldn''t be with the Azulious anymore, they saw what I was doing but I left, the first time I died I was lucky, I didn''t become a transper and went straight to be a ¡®spirit¡¯¡I was able to contact her and she me, and it started all over again. She had told me that two lives with me where better than one or nothing. So, we did it again."
Piet looked at them all, and they seemed like they were listening, he tried to remember more of the story that he needed to tell, "The third time, they made me a transper and I was trapped in my thoughts. I never thought I could get out. It was a long process, and by the time I got out and became a spirit again, my love was old, she remembered most of what we had but by that time our secret was making her life hard, she could not tell anyone, she could not show anyone, and we decided to part on good terms. Making stories up was hard, people never knew the real you because you had to lie, having to make up a false name was a lie!¡±
What was next?
Taking a short moment to remember, Piet then continued, ¡°We got married twice, I''m sure people knew who I was, even though we tried to only invite people who didn''t know me well. She did get pregnant three times." Piet looked at Cameron, "But it miscarried, all three times¡I''m sorry, but you guys have to stop this, It''s heartbreak for all of you!"
Piet looked at all of them and put his hand to his mouth, "The last time I saw her was a eighty¡Four years ago. After she died, for some reason I didn''t get run over anymore, I was able to stay here and not worry when my death was going to show up. I did not grow older, it is like time has stopped. I feel trapped and decided to not only make a living but try and prevent this happening to others."
Piet sat down and faced away from everyone on the recliner and breathed in. Piet snuggled up a little more on the chair, hearing everyone get closer to one another and start talking silently, he wasn''t going to say anymore, pretending to sleep, but he listened to what they were saying and wondered how long it would take to finish his mission.
Did he do it right?
Did he miss anything?
He didn¡¯t know why he had to say that type of ¡®story¡¯ but¡Whatever¡
Who was who?
Elitress was one that didn¡¯t care about meaningless things. She did whatever she wanted. She clearly stated to me that if she heard this news, she wouldn¡¯t care¡But all these people seemed worried and didn¡¯t know what to do¡
Who was it!?
"Piet...Piet..." Piet pretended to wake up and took in his surroundings, it looked as though it was the next day.
Piet sat up and looked at Cameron, he wasn''t sure whether to say something or wait until something was said to him.
Piet waited long enough though, so he said, "Did you people hear me last night or did I speak to no ears?"
He saw Cameron look up at Connor, who looked at Amillia, who looked back at Connor.
Piet had done his job, there was one last question, "So have you worked out the connections yet or am I to tell you?"
Piet felt some pride to the fact that they were silent and looking at him again, "With me and Miranda, I was always able to see her in the garden in the hospital, at the front of the hospital and in Roma Street Parklands. It was the same spot all the time, I figured ages ago, before becoming human again, that we could teleport to a location, which I''m guessing Cameron has already known, as I''ve seen him do it."
Piet looked around again, and continued, "Look, it may be very different for you guys but that is what was so important to us is all but what I''m saying is you can teleport to locations that are special to you people. Oh, and one other thing, the time for me was three months, when I went from being a spirit to a human before I died, I had three months."
Piet got up, he wanted to go and be in solitude again, he had decided that what needed to be said was said. He walked towards the front door and was stopped by Amillia, "Wait, where are you going?"
Piet half turned to put his hand on Amillia''s shoulder, "It''s up to you people now to make the decision, or how you go about things and I wish you all the luck and happiness." He kissed her on the cheek, waved to the boys and left the house.
His duty, of telling them the ¡®story¡¯, was now done.
All he had to do now was see how they act and find which one was his lover!
Volume 2, Chapter 1
(Note from Author: Anonym and Switch incoming! If you don¡¯t know who Anonym and Switch are, there are two prequels that tell you about them. Anonym and Switch, Obtaining Power to Retaliate is first, showing why Anonym has come to Earth and ¡®Unyielding Beloved¡¯ shows a part of their journey towards coming to Earth. Of course, the other characters and their existence is written of too, upon who they are and why they are with Anonym and Switch.)
Far from the area that Connor, Cameron, Amillia and Andrea where, there was a strip of land that held cattle and sheep¡And now dragons.
¡°Where are we Elementress?¡± Anonym asked, once shapeshifted back to her human form.
¡°Ah! I think we are on a planet that is much better than the last! The world is bigger! Oh, and there¡¯s many that look like us!¡± Elementress stated, after having a quick look upon the earth and air around her.
Anonym frowned slightly, she was having so much fun teasing Timothy whenever she had asked him where they were, and it seemed Elementress wasn¡¯t going to play the game!
¡°I feel it.¡± Came a distant sounded voice from Switch.
¡°Me too.¡± Stated Xavior. ¡°Something¡¯s here!¡±
Anonym really didn¡¯t think this would happen! She wanted someone to take the bait so that she could tease but what was going on!?
¡°There¡¯s no magic but there¡¯s definitely a being here that reminds me of what happened back in our galaxy!¡± Xavior continued.
Switch immediately made the black dragons of Enoor become invisible and looked at Anonym, already slightly perplexed.
They were here to look for help to fight against their so called ¡®father¡¯, who had created their miserable fates. Yet, that still didn¡¯t mean that they couldn¡¯t fall into danger!
They had come across another that had wanted to wipe them out and they had to teleport away from the world that they had been on.
¡Will this place be safe?
¡°There¡¯s more¡¡± Xavior continued.
Switch closed his eyes, concentrating upon the unique aura¡¯s that not only he had but Anonym had as well.
This was¡This was worrying!
This place did indeed have more than one! Not only that, but an aura felt like it was scattered across nearby space!
They would have to proceed with extra precaution!
¡°So, where are they then? Let¡¯s go and talk to them!¡± Anonym stated easily.
Alex ran around her then, giggling as a young, invisible dragon stomped after him.
Seeing this, Switch sighed and turned towards a close by mountain, already ready to make their first home on this new planet.
In no time at all, a deep cave was made, with an entrance now blocked and air coming in from a small opening elsewhere.
¡°Let¡¯s go and check out the place!¡± Anonym stated, really happy that there was a chance to get more on her side and excited about this new planet. ¡°Tell me! Is there dragons? Is there witches? Oh¡I hate witches!¡±
Switch took her into his arms protectively and sighed, he would much prefer to stop her from going anywhere but¡Anonym wasn¡¯t one that could be stopped! She was in a league of her own and he never had to heart to stop her from anything!
What Switch does like to do though, was accompanying her, making sure that she is safe and watch her for his own entertainment. She wasn¡¯t like many that he had seen in his past¡As Anonym was a person that went beyond expectations and did things without rules, doing whatever she wanted¡Which seemed to grab hold of his attention.
¡°Don¡¯t forget that you are to be much more careful now!¡± Switch stated, trying to coax his wife over.
Anonym humphed and put her arms to her chest, ¡°It¡¯s fine, it¡¯s fine! I want to see if this place has good freedom elixir!¡±
Switch frowned, ¡°No freedom elixir!¡±
¡°What! Why not!?¡± Anonym raised her eyebrows, how could she not try out freedom elixir?
¡°Pregnant women shouldn¡¯t drink alcohol! Leave it to us men to drink!¡± Xavior stated with a smirk.
¡°Shut up!¡± Anonym stated angrily. She¡¯d completely forgotten about this type of ¡®rule¡¯!
If it was up to her, she would think ¡®so what!¡¯, but¡Switch and his anger was not something Anonym liked to see¡It was a tad too scary!

She had seen a few of Switch¡¯s tricks! She knows that he can turn people into icicles and bring forth some type of explosive out of nowhere! How could she fight everything he throws at her!? Even if she were go to invisible, he could bring her back to being visible again! But¡She will beat him far and square one day! After all, she needed to be strong enough to beat someone who made the two of them, so, if she couldn¡¯t beat Switch, then what was the point of trying to get revenge from her creator!?
Switch put a hand to his head and shook it defeatedly.
He knew Anonym wasn¡¯t stupid, well not completely stupid, but her careless nature can be too much sometimes!
It must have been hard to live life over and over again and come to a point that very little would make you scared or be surprised about, as he himself knows, but why¡Why can¡¯t she take his children seriously! As it was, Alex was a little cannon!
They both were too much!
¡°We will take this slow because of the aura¡¯s we feel! There¡¯s more then one here Anonym, so we will search for them slowly, and in the meantime¡It would be nice for me to take in this new world and learn a few things, it¡¯d help us fight our father!¡±
Anonym stayed silent, knowing of Switch¡¯s power of existence and couldn¡¯t help but want him to grow stronger as well!
Sighing, releasing her hands from her chest, Anonym could only wait to meet the person she would convert to help her fight her father.
There were no if¡¯s, but¡¯s or maybe¡¯s! She will gain more power and kick her father¡¯s ass!
¡°Then, can we look around?¡± Anonym asked with mischievous eyes.
After all, it had been awhile since she had played around! She could go invisible and cause a disturbance or¡Or maybe do something different this time, like turn into a snake and scare the hell out of everyone that way!
Letting out a laugh to her inner thoughts, everyone else looked at her and couldn¡¯t help but get goosebumps!
How was it that the most shameless, the most villainous person out of all of them was a mother, a pregnant woman?
It was starting to become normal for them all but still, knowing that Anonym had come up with an idea, then Elementress wanting to know what the idea was, it was the men who sighed after looking at each other defeatedly!
The cave, which was in in a place called ¡®Scotland¡¯, did indeed stay their home for quite some time. The dragons easily didn¡¯t mind as they had treasure, due to Switch, and Switch was also the one to bring them food¡But, the rest of them did go out to see the sights.
Learning upon quite a number of things, such that as nuclear bombs, which finally made sense to Switch upon what happened in his home planet of Bracabra, Switch was happy to continue to stay low key yet¡Anonym was the one that caused disturbances, much like her son!
¡They could not return back to a place called ¡®England¡¯ because of Anonym¡¯s blunt and uncaring to laws attitude!
No, it may have been fun but finding out after they left that there was a type of ¡®warrant¡¯ for her ¡®arrest¡¯, seemed to make things a bit more difficult!
They were supposed to stay lowkey! It was truly lucky that Switch was able to teleport to get them away from all the sirens!
Anonym was indeed punished by Switch because of this and so her and Presley, Switch¡¯s dragon best friend, played a trick on Switch, then another one, then another one, until he changed his mind and let her out of the cave once again!
Over time, they came to see the difference of this planet, to that of Altervale, Roneglaise, Bracabra and any others that they had come across and found it to be strangely different.
There were no wolves that turned into humans, there were more advanced, yet there was no cultivation in buildings or weapons. The planet was bigger and¡They still had not been able to find the owner of any of the aura¡¯s that they had felt upon arriving.
Having this time, Switch was glad for it though. He had learnt quite a number of things and also had learnt of different cultures and foods, which helped calm his pregnant woman down from wanting to continuously cause trouble outside of the cave!
Anonym and Alex even ended up doing some type of ¡®magic¡¯, showing off their powers to those who said they were real ¡®magician¡¯s¡¯ and suddenly they were on something called a ¡®TV¡¯¡
Of course, Anonym can turn into creatures, so it was really her being ¡®pulled out of a hat¡¯. Alex was one that was able to do daring things because he was able to make copies of himself, to which nothing happened to himself personally if one of his copies was trying to get out of a bind and even ¡®killed¡¯ in the process.
And¡Alex really liked how he could walk out from behind a curtain and that he had everyone¡¯s attention!
They found out more about electricity and saw what it did for items such as phones and computers, then found out about internet, who Xavior already knew the idea of mostly, because of Altervale, and he had tried to explain it to Switch.
It was a strange new way to live for all of them though, even that of Xavior and Elementress, and they found that old habits do indeed die hard as they still found a more comfortable way of living inside their cave¡Of course, a simple extra was added in the cave to supply not only that of power, but that of a ¡®TV¡¯ and some things called ¡®movies¡¯, which seemed to entertain both Alex and Anonym when something of war was on it.
And so, their days continued in this type of easy way¡Until a certain day down the track¡
***
Back to the present, when Piet left Connor¡¯s house, the rest were all quiet. The news that Piet, an acquaintance of Andrea, had told them about spirits and humans took some time to sink in. Amillia sat down on the chair and Connor sat in front of her on the floor. Connor didn''t want to think about something so serious, even though it included his new want to be with his fiance for a lifetime¡
Cameron closed his eyes and couldn¡¯t see a future without Andrea and decided he had to try and figure out a solution. ¡°What do we know?¡±
Connor spoke out, quite bluntly, ¡°You guys have three months, that you guys cannot go back to being ¡®spirits¡¯ because the Az¡Somethinglious will make you transpers¡That you obviously can come back if you die¡That Cameron can never become a father and you guys will not grow old when Andrea and I die.¡±
Cameron looked at Connor and sighed, ¡°Those are the facts told by Piet. I would prefer to have matters a lot less complicated.¡±
Amillia put a hand through Connor¡¯s hair, hearing in his head a cat purring, and said, ¡°If this can happen, there may be a solution. It might be something easy, something like maths, one plus one equals two.¡±
Cameron looked at her, as though she were joking, and he remembered the Azulious and how they reacted to them returning after Connor''s mishap that happened a couple of Earth months ago. ¡°How would that be possible, we are not even sure what this is, how are we to equal something else up to make an answer to what is going on?¡±
Connor got up from the floor and took Amillia¡¯s hand, ¡°Sleeping last night, in my opinion, was the best option and taking my girl out now seems to be yet another great option!¡±
He walked up to Cameron, with Amillia following close behind and put his hand on his shoulder, ¡°Look, I love what I have now, I don¡¯t want to let it go, but we need to get together, all four of us, to ask real questions¡And I think you know this. I also thought that it only takes one, with only one computer, too look stuff up.¡±
Cameron looked at his brother and sighed, ¡°Yes, you are right, I will attempt to find any information that would help us. First, I will check on Andrea and hope that she will be out soon, will we meet here tonight?¡±
It was agreed upon by all of them and with Connor and Amillia walking out the door and Cameron teleporting to the fourth floor of the hospital, where Andrea was being held under observation, Connor¡¯s house became empty and quiet.
Volume 2, Chapter 2
Whilst Connor and Amillia went on their first date, Cameron found his way to level eight of the hospital.
He saw her in there as he did the day before, except now in different clothes. She was looking out the window as if wishing she were elsewhere and it near broke his heart. He knew if Andrea had said the real reason of her being held was because she had been talking to a spirit, who now is half human and was the father of her unborn child, she would probably never leave the mental ward¡
For some reason, even though he knew he would hurt over him being the reason she was being detained here, it hurt more then he expected¡It was like he wasn¡¯t just angry at himself but angry at¡Something else too¡
Being let in, as it was a time for visitors, he walked straight over to her and pulled up a chair. ¡°Andrea.¡±
Andrea looked at him and smiled, just as fast, she was in his arms and he could hear her think that she should be out today.
Cameron had nearly forgotten about his good news, with Piet somewhat destroying his hopes, as now being with Andrea put him up in high esteem again. ¡°I am glad, we have been lost without you. Piet came by and told us some information, he is said to be a ¡®spirit¡¯. Did you know that?¡±
Andrea shook her head with raised eyebrows, she of cause knew that Cameron and Amillia were spirits but Piet being one had never crossed her mind. ¡°No, wow, you serious? Did he say anything about what is going on?¡±
Cameron wanted to say the easy information first, ¡°Yes, he filled us in on several bits of information. Where have you seen me Andrea? He said that there were about three locations he used to see his wife, if we can at least get those places out of the way¡I know of two places, obviously ground floor of the hospital and Roma Street Parklands. I have a feeling fourth floor of the hospital as well.¡±
Andrea dropped something she had in her hand and Cameron started to panic, but her thoughts were of a picture, it was only shading with trees and windows, and something else.
Andrea looked at Cameron and then picked up the item she dropped and showed him, it was the picture Amillia drew before she had died from cancer. Andrea remembered the day, not too long ago, that the picture had fallen to the floor with other items and she had to clean it up.
That¡¯s right, she thought, everything started to happen after this picture fell¡
Cameron looked at her and wondered if she had figured it out. Cameron heard her think that she was sorry to stay away all that time when he was gone, that had made her think about the links between them more and she figured it was something to do with the picture. She remembered that she saw Cameron in the garden, fourth floor and in front of the hospital, which was what was drawn on the piece of art paper in front of her.
To a certain degree it made her scared upon how her own sister could draw a picture two years ago and it seems to be some sort of way of telling them where a spirit can teleport!
Andrea started to cry, she was a mess inside, he could see that she had nearly lost hope again and gone back to her way of thinking before she had met him. She had been in a zombie state back then and he saw that she had wished recently to not feel so much. The mixed emotions made his head swirl and he wondered if reading her mind, as Amillia can read Connor''s and his, was going to make him dizzy.
Cameron held her and made sure that she knew that he was here and that he wasn¡¯t going anywhere. He had to let her know this!
He will do anything he could to make things better for her, he just didn¡¯t really know how to go about it¡
Some time passed and then she said, ¡°I love you Cameron. I¡Although it sounds weird, I feel like I¡¯ve been put here for a reason when you¡¯re around. And now that Amillia is also here, it¡¯s like I¡¯m whole but when you are not here and Amillia¡¯s gone, I don¡¯t even know what I¡¯m doing anymore. It scares me.¡±
Cameron seemed to have free reign inside her head and saw that she can¡¯t even remember much of the last month, it was somewhat blurry with only a few things clear, one being her fight with his father¡Connor had stood out just as clear in the same scene and it made Cameron happy to see his father in any way, even if it was fighting with his brother¡
When he and Amillia were being held by the Azulious, Andrea and Connor had obviously gone to see how his father was going. Cameron believed, like Connor, that Andrea yelling at him couldn''t have been helped as his father was down Connor''s throat even on the phone. He didn''t understand why Connor had such a sore spot, he still wanted their father to be proud of him and devoted a lot of effort in the past to try and accomplish that.

Sadly, in the memory from Andrea, all he saw was his father yelling instead of talking openly with his son¡But seeing everything else as somewhat blurry did worry him¡
¡°I see it Andrea, you were not yourself.¡± He said, which made her breathe in and hope that she wasn¡¯t going to cry again. Andrea looked down, she was getting sick of being such a cry baby.
Andrea looked at him, ¡°I¡¯m such a wreck aren¡¯t I, how could you possibly like someone like me?¡±
Her sarcastic laugh and smile made him feel hurt, ¡°How could I not Andrea, you have a beautiful mind, you are up front with who you are, and you like me in return.¡±
Andrea smiled again, this time it was genuine, and Cameron felt better. He kissed her head and said, ¡°Some people we know are getting married, I believe you are related to one and me the other. Any idea who that would be?¡±
Andrea stood up, maybe a tad too fast as she got a slight head rush and put her hand over her mouth, but he could see that she was happy, ¡°Really? Wow, oh my god I¡¯m so happy for them.¡±
Cameron got up and put his arms around her, where she belonged, ¡°They are, at this very moment, on their first date.¡±
Andrea let out a laugh, she pictured Connor when she first met him and now. Cameron saw something he had to talk to his brother about, ¡°He flipped you off!¡±
Andrea didn¡¯t lose her smile, if anything she laughed again, ¡°Yeah, ha, that¡¯s right he did!¡±
Cameron was just thrilled that she was so happy that he didn¡¯t realize that a doctor had come up to them, ¡°Excuse me, I would like to check on the young lady if you don¡¯t mind.¡±
Cameron let go of Andrea and stepped back, nodding at the doctor, ¡°Not a problem, is there a chance that she will be able to return home today?¡±
He heard Andrea think of home before the nurse said, ¡°We will see how things will go. She was admitted staying here for a minimum of a day and so far, we haven¡¯t seen anything wrong with her. Pregnancy has made this more of predicament then a placement. We will see how the baby is going and have her talk to the psychiatrist and go from there¡Are you the baby¡¯s father?¡±
Cameron smiled, ¡°Yes, yes I am.¡±
The doctor smiled, ¡°Well then let¡¯s get this going, this way Andrea. She won¡¯t be long.¡± And they left Cameron there, still smiling.
The memory of Piet talking last night stayed in the background of his mind, trying to make a surface of unknowing sadness, but Cameron still could not believe how lucky he was. Now that he remembered his time on Earth before becoming a spirit, he was certain that this time he was happier than that of any past that he had beforehand¡And it unquestionably felt right, like the path that he was supposed to be on¡
Andrea followed the doctor to a room that looked close to her normal doctor¡¯s room. She had been to another room yesterday¡When they had found out about her pregnancy the doctor had been able to lower her prognosis to minimum security and luckily she wasn¡¯t able to take medication, in which she would have only minutes after the check-up.
The doctor sat down and started, ¡°How are you feeling Andrea?¡±
Andrea shrugged, ¡°I guess, still in a way¡I don¡¯t believe it.¡± And she still couldn''t, she had only once thought that her emotions are going sky high because she was pregnant, every other time she thought that she was just going crazy! A few times she believed that she was actually in the right place, here at the hospital and in the mental ward! As much as she knew of the term ¡®baby brain¡¯ and doing silly things when pregnant, she felt like she really was going through something weird and strange. Was it because the father of the child is a spirit? Could it be normal for her to feel like this?
Andrea had never been pregnant before so¡She wasn¡¯t sure upon whether to tell the doctor that it felt like sometimes she blanked out¡
Thinking of this, Andrea decided that she needed to talk to her sister in law, surely, she¡¯d know¡Yet¡What if she doesn¡¯t? What if Andrea could not talk to anyone simply because she had a different type of child growing within her?
¡A sense of loneliness washed over her then¡
The doctor let out a small laugh and said, ¡°Yes, it can give people that impression sometimes, but you will begin to believe a couple of months in, when you start getting a bump and little kicks. Normally, it¡¯s the father that doesn¡¯t believe it until the child is laying in their hands¡How are you feeling health wise?¡±
Andrea looked at her hands to think, ¡°I, uh, feel ok. I think I have been stressed a little but nothing I can¡¯t deal with. The worse was getting sick before I came here about four weeks ago, but I told you that yesterday, so yeah¡Not much of a change since then.¡±
The doctor nodded, ¡°Ok, well we¡¯ll get a urine sample from you and check the heartbeat. If you¡¯d like to do that now that would be great. Do you think the father would like to come in and hear the heartbeat?¡±
Andrea smiled, ¡°Yes, he would!¡±
The doctor turned back to his computer and said, ¡°Ok, you go do that for me and bring him back with you, I will see you when you return.¡±
The doctor then started typing, so she left with a little bottle.
Making her way back to the main area, where Cameron was waiting, she skipped to be in front of him. ¡°Did you want to hear the heartbeat?¡±
Cameron was delighted, what a fantastic thing that they could do with the unborn. ¡°Yes, of cause!¡±
Andrea put up the cup, showing Cameron what deed is to be done, and said, ¡°Uh, I¡¯ll be right back.¡±
Cameron couldn¡¯t believe it, he knew his old memories included things like this, but he never really used to think of it much. He wasn¡¯t going to have children back then¡His work left him heartbroken for children and always thought that if he were to ever want children one day, that he would adopt instead.
Cameron remembered other thoughts of his old ways, of thinking of children out there that were hungry and only making another that needed food should not be the right method, that it had never mattered if it would have been his or not, and that¡He had felt an immense want to look after all of them¡
It did worry him to bring in yet another child when there were so many out there that needed help and support.... Cameron felt, for a moment, that he was a hypocrite and that he didn¡¯t deserve to be a father, yet, at the same time, he felt an overwhelming feeling of being on the right path¡
This child¡It had to be born and he knew that but didn¡¯t know why¡
But with Andrea coming back, hiding her cup behind her back, he couldn¡¯t help but smile.
He just wanted to be happy, even if it was for a short time!
He grabbed her hand and said. ¡°Let¡¯s go!¡±
Volume 2, Chapter 3
The doctor was waiting for them and after taking the cup from Andrea he put in a stick and waited a few seconds for it to come out in all sorts of colors. ¡°Ok, looking good there Andrea, again, if you have trouble going to the toilet please make sure you see a doctor.¡±
Andrea nodded.
¡°Ok, let¡¯s move on, I¡¯m sure daddy here is truly excited! Will this be number one for you?¡± The doctor looked at Cameron while standing.
Cameron nodded. All he could think about was that fact that the doctor had just called him ¡®Daddy!¡¯
The doctor went over to the long hospital bed and pulled out a few items, ¡°Andrea, would you like to lay down please?¡±
Andrea got up and Cameron lifted her onto the bed, with her thanks Cameron stood back, not wanting to be in the way.
¡°This is going to be cold.¡± The doctor said, putting gel onto Andrea¡¯s stomach, silence filled the room as the doctor was searching for something.
A noise, a rhythmic beat was found, and the doctor looked at Andrea, saying, ¡°Ah, there is your baby.¡±
Andrea looked at Cameron, who just listened to the magical heart of his unborn baby, with his eyes closed.
Too soon after, the doctor wrote down some numbers and then took the utensil that he was using away, Cameron wanted to look at it, his curiosity showing itself but thought he''d better not ask about it.
Moving to the computer, the doctor typed something in and then clicked on his mouse a few times. Cameron helped Andrea down, figuring that was it and sat down beside her, waiting for the doctor to do or say something.
Finally, the doctor turned to them and said, ¡°Ok, it looks like the heartbeat has become irregular to the chart, but don¡¯t think it means anything, what I¡¯m going to do is get Andrea to check up again tomorrow to make sure that there is nothing wrong. By then we will have results on yesterday¡¯s test results also. Should have had them today but they have been rather frantic up there of late¡±
Andrea looked at Cameron, who looked down.
He breathed in and then looked up to speak to the doctor, ¡°Is this an effect that a miscarriage may have?¡±
Andrea gave him a look but turned back to the doctor as he spoke, ¡°I wouldn¡¯t want to alarm you, certainly with the figures we have here, but it may be yes. But it may also mean that the baby may have moved more so yesterday and may be sleeping today. It could mean a few things. Maybe in the future something like this could be seen and things could be done to find out, but as of today we can only say so much.¡±
Cameron stood up, ¡°We will, of course, be here tomorrow to make sure things are ok.¡±
Andrea also stood up and looked at the doctor, ¡°Was there anything else?¡±
He walked towards the door, ¡°Ah no, I¡¯ll get you to come here tomorrow, about nine, and I¡¯ll fit you in as soon as I can.¡± And he smiled.
Andrea walked out with Cameron, he took held of her hand and once the doctor had shut the door after them, he stopped her. ¡°There is something you should know, and I really am unwilling to say it.¡±
Andrea licked her lips and looked up at him, ¡°Would it have anything to do with you saying the M word in there?¡±
Cameron had the think for a moment to understand what the M meant, and then said, ¡°Uh yes, Piet did come across his, uh, partner getting pregnant.¡±
Andrea looked away from him, and then breathed in, ¡°And that¡¯s what happened? She had a miscarriage?¡±
Cameron put his hands on both sides of her face and pulled her closer to him and said, ¡°Yes, three times.¡±
Andrea nodded and closed her eyes. She felt him put his lips to hers and she put her hands up onto his back. His kiss was amazing, and she was allowing herself to forget what was happening to her unborn child, even for a little while.
Cameron heard that she wanted to forget the conversation, so for the next half hour of visiting time he told her some other points that Piet had brought up and Andrea was then up to date with information, like the rest of them. She did agree with the rest of them, that, Piet had been quite vague in his statements, and that when she gets a chance, she¡¯ll try to meet up with him again to get some more information.

The question was still in the air as Connor and Amillia finished ordering what they were going to eat. Snide comments from Connor about the car drivers, waiters and the menu had made her laugh, but mature conversation had not developed between them since they left the house. Connor loved to make her laugh, but something was penetrating his thoughts, it was a question of will she still marry him after what Piet had told them.
Not knowing how the conversation would start, he was stopped by her words instead, ¡°Yes Connor. As long as you want too as well.¡±
Connor saw that she was looking at him, waiting to hear his thoughts or to say something, ¡°Well, yeah of course, why wouldn¡¯t I? You¡¯re like awesome! I want the lot babe! You know that friends and family stuff, but I just don¡¯t know how that is going to happen.¡±
How can three months be enough time with her when he felt like he had waited for her his whole life!
Connor was looking at Amillia and she was speechless, he noted that time was of the essence and that he wanted to get things done as soon as possible, to have some kind of a fun fulfilled life with this beautiful young lady.
¡°Yes I know, I am not sure how to go about things either¡I remember that if I wanted a wedding when I was last human, that it would be beautiful and full of family and friends but I¡¯m not sure that is the way to go in this circumstance.¡±
That¡¯s right, in both of their thoughts they knew that preparing a wedding might take three months all on its own, so¡That was just something they couldn¡¯t do¡
Connor was all for a quick wedding, ¡°Wanna go to Vegas?¡±
Amillia laughed, she had not thought that things would ever be in that kind of situation for her. But the idea did appeal to her. ¡°It¡¯s definitely an idea.¡±
Connor laughed, ¡°That¡¯s my girl.¡±
The drinks came to the table then and silence filled the cubicle. Connor was still lost in thought, he wanted to take her skydiving, take her to the zoo, see her response to elephants, and with that thought he shook his head. For some reason he was thinking like a girl, if that is how girls thought in the first place...
Amillia snuffled a giggle while listening to him. To hide her amusement, she had a sip of her drink, but she knew that he had seen her smile.
¡°Oh, and you have better ideas?¡±
Amillia thought that she did in fact have a better idea, and that was to stop her from getting cancer so that these awesome ideas wouldn¡¯t have to be rushed!
She was silent for a moment, wondering if Connor would still love her if she came back fifty years later, like Piet had come back to Miranda. It seemed possible at the moment, but how would he feel then? Would there be an emotional change between them?
Amillia sipped another mouth full of her drink to try and disguise her feelings, it was then that she heard him speak, ¡°It¡¯s going to be hard isn¡¯t it? To show you things and give you experiences¡Well, for the time I have and the time that you may take to come back to me, I hope I can fit in as much as I can in three months!¡±
Connor was all for the romance, especially when it had the added bonus of the bedtime, but when he saw Amillia¡¯s eyes fill with tears, it was the opposite reaction that he had craved for. He moved to her side of the cubicle and put his hands around her and wondered whether he should apologize or not. He decided against it, he knew that if he did it, it wouldn¡¯t be who he was and if she liked him for him, then why bother?
Amillia nearly choked and after he helped her cough, he realized that she was now suddenly laughing¡He had forgotten for the moment that she could read his thoughts! How annoying that must be for her, to be inside his head all the time!
Amillia finished coughing and started nodding, ¡°Ha, yes it can be. And very different at the same time. Everyone I could hear before you were so¡formal, then you¡You are so, I don¡¯t even know what it is on how you think, it¡¯s like you mock people all the time and you¡¯re a laughingstock. I don¡¯t know how I could take anything serious while I¡¯m inside your head.¡±
Connor smiled and said, ¡°Well, then you know my defense, now for my offence!¡±
Amillia wasn¡¯t ready for his kiss! She didn¡¯t understand this man and she may never, but she loved how he could still surprise her, even if she could read his thoughts!
Amillia was surprised though that he thought of his dad not more than a second after they finished kissing and wondered whether to ask her about his dad or not.
Connor asked her that he would like to take her to meet his dad and, of course, his mum as well, after dinner, and if she would mind.
Amillia sat back further and looked at him, ¡°Are you sure?¡±
Connor showed no emotion on his face but of course she heard them, he was worried about what his dad would say, what he would do and with the fact he hasn¡¯t talked to him for about a month and his dad would most likely say something about that!
Amillia asked, ¡°Maybe another time then?¡±
Connor sighed, at that moment he was glad that she could read his mind, as it seemed that he wasn¡¯t ready yet.
Connor was stopped to get a drink by her hand, then she said, ¡°But maybe it would be good to go see him, since we have so little time, I would like to meet him, I know you feel ill of him but I¡¯d still like to form my own opinion. And it may very well get the intended fight out of the way, since you seem to think that¡¯s what is going to happen anyway.¡±
Connor was silent, his hand was still, he could only see his father yelling at him and telling him other things, except that he was proud of him¡With that thought, he wanted sex, sex he was sure, would help the situation tremendously!
Amillia took her hand away and sat closer to him, and whispered in his ear, ¡°It is only death that comes after life Connor, what is there to be feared off? Strangely, besides your love, anything less than that for me seems a little bit insignificant¡±
The sudden change in his images, to his father dying in cartoon, made her laugh. Then himself laughing at a big cartoon smoke saying ''boom'', making her laugh even more.
Amillia could feel his acceptance in seeing his father and felt overwhelmed with pride. He seemed to give that feeling to her without even realizing it¡It¡¯s just, what he said was true. If he just kept up and just being who he was, she felt like she would fall for him over and over again!
¡In the next half an hour, she knew that he was feeling sicker by the minute, as they got closer and closer to their destination. She made light conversation to try and set his mind at ease, but it was becoming more difficult then she had originally thought!
Volume 2, Chapter 4
Amillia could hardly believe Connor¡¯s worked up state at the thought of seeing his father!
She thought that he would fear death more, or something like that but now, he was trapped in the now, somewhat gearing himself up for a fight!
Death for herself was simple, she¡¯d been there and done that, yet, for Connor, he seemed to hold back on much that had anything to do with it. Her idea of bringing death in with his father seemed to fade and he was worried again about the yelling and about his mother. She found it quite amusing that he still thought it was quite a huge deal to do this, that his existence seems to want it so much but yet dreaded it do his core. She had only gotten small snippets of his past with his father and wondered with how little he thought of him, yet why he wanted his approval so badly¡
¡Ah, should she just tell him to forget it?
Amillia couldn¡¯t understand how Connor could have stayed sane after all these years with a father that dominated like he had and to maximise that, his father had made it completely obvious that he had liked Connor¡¯s twin brother better¡
Amillia could hear and see all the favouritism that went on in the family, that Cameron seemed to be the next leader, that Cameron did this, that Cameron did that and Amillia had a sudden urge to cry for Connor and his life experience of having a father. A father should be moral support for a young man, a hero in some respect, so that they have someone to look up to and with Connor¡¯s thoughts, she found that he had nobody like that upon his upbringing¡
Their first date was over and Amillia was unsure whether it was still on his mind to see his father.
Not bringing it up was hard yet getting into the car after they had walked out from the restaurant was easy.
Connor was thinking of girls with skimpy tops and chairs after about five minutes of driving. She saw the boobs in the tank tops being big, pink for the tops, and chair legs, on how they were made, and Amillia didn¡¯t seem to take offence, if anything she realized he was trying not to think about seeing his father. ¡°Connor, please calm down!¡±
Connor turned to her and grimaced, ¡°I can¡¯t help it!¡±
With his head going back to the road, Amillia wanted to point out, ¡°No offense but looking at a chair leg and how it was made sort of bores me.¡±
She got what she was looking for, which was a smile, a wonderful smile. Her mind was then full of another picture, a closed rose, but it started opening, it was a beautiful color of purple and pink, like magenta, and then when it fully opened, it said, ¡®I love you¡¯.
Amillia smiled, she might have the most obnoxious man, but he was a romantic in his own way. ¡°I love you too.¡±
Again, she saw him smile¡
Amillia was just about to ask if Connor wanted to pull out from seeing his father, when he said, ¡°I wonder if there was more to what Piet had said or if that was it. All he really said was that it didn¡¯t work for him, I mean do you know for sure that it¡¯s going to be three months? What if you don¡¯t get sick at all?¡±
Amillia didn¡¯t feel different, but, as she looked down, she saw the tiny fragment connected to her lung that wasn¡¯t supposed to be there.
About to make things more open minded, she already was interrupted by more rants from Connor, ¡°What did he do to try to prevent from being hit by a car, did he not go out so it wouldn¡¯t happen? He could have filled us in more, instead of falling asleep, and on my couch at that¡And he drank my booze!¡±
Amillia looked at him and reminded him, ¡°Don¡¯t forget, while he was sleeping, we were wondering whether or not to believe him in the first place and wondering if he wasn¡¯t as crazy as us.¡±
Connor thought back to that and couldn''t see how Piet made it all up, because he simply knew about things even before he was informed of them.
Connor remembered, showing some of the conversation in his head to Amillia. They asked a few unanswered questions, wondering if he was for real, what he could have done to stop it. They had written down some things about cancer that they needed to look up to try and help it without getting too much medical attention. They had agreed that Cameron could try one and Amillia could try another¡But not long after that, they had all gone to bed.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Amillia closed her eyes, opened them, sighed and said, ¡°We¡¯ll get on the internet when we get back and see if we can get onto something soon. If we prove whatever is going wrong, by even another month, anything could be possible.¡±
Connor slammed his palm onto the stirring wheel, ¡°That¡¯s right! This three-month thing is crap! It¡¯s not even medically possible. It¡¯s not Connor possible!¡± Connor looked at her and smiled.
Amillia wasn¡¯t sure what to say, she seemed to have not the same enthusiasm as Connor. As much as she wanted things to be Connor possible, she had a feeling that it wasn¡¯t going to be so.
She thought about a situation that had happened before, that she was around for, Cameron. He had cancer then he didn¡¯t, she took him back to her room, and it was gone. All she needed to do was teleport back to her room, then teleport back to some place back here on Earth. Connor saw her eyes go wide and look at him, he put his eyes back on the road and asked, ¡°What?¡±
¡°Cameron had it, and then when I teleported him back to my room¡Back in the spirit world, he didn¡¯t have it.¡±
Connor hit the steering wheel again, ¡°That¡¯s it! Nice work! Wow that¡¯s awesome, whenever you start feeling inhuman just port back to your room and then come back. Problem solved!¡±
Amillia did feel better, there was definitely something there that they could try, as it had already worked!
It was moments later though, that she was reminded about the Azulious and how they would probably be waiting on the spirit world for that precise moment that they would indeed use that method...
***
Arriving at a house, unseen before to Amillia¡¯s own eyes, she turned to Connor, who put the hand break on, and he looked back at her.
He silently told her that they were here. There were no pictures or images now in his head, and he leant over to give her a kiss. Amillia put her hands on his face and then around his neck, feeling herself go deeper into just thinking about his lips and him¡The man who seemed to be using her right now to calm down!
Amillia smiled through their kiss and gently pulled on his ear, making him bite her lip lightly in return.
¡°Connor!¡± A voice interrupted them, making them both move apart in a hurry to the sudden shock, and to Connor welcoming Amillia to hell.
Getting out of the car, Connor walked to Amillia¡¯s side and opened her door. Helping her out of the car, he rolled his eyes to hear his name was being yelled out yet again.
Amillia heard him think that he¡¯s still a boy in his daddy¡¯s eyes and he smirked, waiting for her to laugh. Amillia didn¡¯t find that funny at all though and put her hand to his face saying, ¡°I hope he sees that is not the case, Love.¡±
His named was yelled out again and Connor was getting weak, she could see it, but his sudden yell startled her, ¡°Oi dad, stop yelling at me and either wait for me to come inside or you come out here! Pick one!¡±
After all, you of all people told me it was rude! Connor grumpily thought. He remembers never able to leave a room when his father was talking to him, he had to even go to his father often, as his father would never come to him.
It might be taking some time for them to get inside, but it didn¡¯t mean they weren¡¯t going!
Connor frowned. Hold it together man, he told himself.
Amillia stayed with Connor in place, while his father responded, ¡°Boy, get your butt in here! Now!¡±
Connor thought about girls in tank tops again and he seemed to calm down considerably when Amillia was one of them.
He grabbed her hand, stomping towards the house and Amillia finally saw the owner of the voice waiting for them at the front door. ¡°Oh¡I see you have company¡Hello there.¡±
She was taken aback to the softer tone of his voice, like he was a completely different man!
Amillia shook his firm hand and smiled back, even though it was completely awkward! It was like his yelling at her man had suddenly become a secret that couldn¡¯t be talked about and like it had never happened!
She smiled more when she heard Connor think his father being the perfect gentleman when she was here and that he should have said Amillia was here from the start. ¡°Hi.¡±
Connor put his hand out to his dad, ¡°Amillia I¡¯d like you to meet my father, Bruce.¡±
Then, he looked at his father and put his hand around Amillia, ¡°Dad, I¡¯d like you to meet my fianc¨¦.¡±
Amillia heard Connor count down from three and looked from him to his father.
She saw that Bruce was holding something back but pulled together rather good and said, ¡°Oh, uh, fianc¨¦? Ah did I hear that right?¡±
Connor smiled and said, ¡°Yep, you¡¯ll have a new edition.¡±
¡°Connor I¡¯ve only met this girl once before.¡± His father stopped, he must have seen Connor think, ¡®and what dad?¡¯ on his face.
His father looked back at Amillia and suddenly said, ¡°I thought your name was Andrea...¡±
For a quick moment, both Amillia and Connor were stunned, being reminded of this certain fact¡
I forgot about that! Was the thought that went through both of their heads.
Amillia looked at Connor and saw his thoughts wonder to the past, when Andrea yelled at Bruce. It was hard not to laugh and had to remind herself that a response was needed, ¡°Andrea would be my twin sister.¡±
Bruce stared at her and silence filled the air for a moment, then he smiled and said, ¡°Double trouble hey.¡±
Amillia nodded, as the surroundings were starting to get uncomfortable. She watched the change of emotions written on Bruce''s face, there was a certain sadness but, strangely, he had lightened up a little and Amillia wondered if he had just made a joke in his head.
Connor said, ¡°Where¡¯s Mum?¡±
Finally, Bruce stepped aside and answered, ¡°In her room. And you mister, I need to talk to you.¡±
¡°Yeah Yeah, just ganna introduce my girl to mum.¡± Connor led Amillia through the house, passing a loundroom a kitchen and another room before getting into a room with an elder lady.
When they entered, she turned around and smiled, ¡°Oh lovey, how are you dear?¡±
They kissed and hugged, and Connor pulled Amillia closer, ¡°I¡¯m good mum, this is my fianc¨¦, Amillia.¡±
The elder lady¡¯s face showed shock at first but lit up and she smiled at Amillia, ¡°Oh wow, what news! And what a couple you make. Oi! Bruce, open some beers, we¡¯re celebrating!¡±
Amillia couldn¡¯t help but love this lady, she was charming, and she seemed to be the total opposite as the man that had been at the front door!
Connor¡¯s name was repeated yet again and Connor kissed her on the cheek, ¡°Better go and talk to him! You guys talk, I¡¯m sure there¡¯s something you could talk about.¡±
Winking at Amillia, Connor then walked away¡Towards his father¡
Volume 2, Chapter 5
Connor wasn¡¯t too far from the loundroom when his father, yet again, yelled for him. Shaking his head, Connor was already ready to go back home!
When he finally saw his father, standing at the fireplace and looking at a picture of the family, Connor couldn¡¯t help but yell, ¡°Yes Dad, what can I do for you?¡±
His father snapped to attention, ¡°You trying to be a smart-ass boy?¡±
Connor smirked, ¡°Ah no, it just comes naturally.¡±
His father was getting angry, Connor could tell, his eyes went to slits and his mouth was nearly a perfect line. ¡°There¡¯s no need¡¡±
Connor interrupted, ¡°That¡¯s right dad there¡¯s no need, look you¡¯re going to have to change, at least while myself and Amillia are around, because she¡¯s going to be a part of the family and you might as well get used to it. Now, there¡¯s a few things you should know, one is Amillia has cancer and you may see us more often. I don¡¯t care if you hate me or her but be nice, please! And two, I need you to be a friend, because the father figure thing is just not working. I¡¯m not going to have you spoil my happiness just because you don¡¯t like who I am! I say tough, get over it and move on! I may need a shoulder to cry on, and I¡¯d rather it be you then a stranger! And¡This is your last chance, if things don¡¯t work out between Amillia, you and I, it may be the last couple of months that you have a birth son at all!¡±
Connor wasn¡¯t sure if he had actually said those words or not, as his father didn¡¯t change his face or rigid stance for at least a minute. He was just about to pinch himself when his father finally broke the silence, ¡°Well, that¡¯s something I¡¯m definitely not used to, especially from you Connor! I will find the medium between us, but it doesn¡¯t mean I agree with your unmanly poems. I did wish though that I had more time to get to know this Amillia girl, I strongly suggest that you find more about her before you take the steps of real responsibility.¡±
Connor sat heavily into a couch chair and closed his eyes, he didn¡¯t understand how someone could be so closed off into his own little space, ¡°Your suggestion is beyond your control as we are getting married!¡±
His father huffed and said, ¡°But you don¡¯t know her, how can you trust her. What if she¡¯s not the one for you? Have you even considered these things?¡±
Connor stood up and walked towards the picture his father had been looking at when he had first walked into the room and picked it up. It was a family picture with Cameron before his death. Those days were easier, even though his father was still on his back, but the family smiled more. It has been quite some time since they have been so close¡Connor remembered when he was homeless and that they had rarely rang him. Sighing, he felt at fault that he didn¡¯t pick up the phone much back then, but he could not help but feel he could have gotten more help from his father in the past.
After a short moment of looking at the picture, Connor looked to his father, ¡°We could be like this, you know¡A family, people who love each other, trust each other to make their own choices and not fight about who they are.¡± Connor looked back at the picture and then suddenly smashed it against the coffee table.
His father went wild almost straight away, his eyes were wide, and mouth opened in shock, ¡°What the hell! What did you do that for? You need to clean this up and fix it right now!¡±
His yell echoed throughout the house¡
Connor looked at his dad, ¡°This is what we are right now, can¡¯t you see? We are broken! We have so many small bits and pieces around the place and we can¡¯t connect on the same level. In the next few months, will you choose to put the picture back together again, or throw it in the fire!?¡±
Connor was getting sad, his father was shaking his head making something of nothing¡Not understanding¡
Connor had had enough, he had not known what he was going to tell his father when walking into the room, but he knew that change had to be in order, or the family would get worse and he would practically disown them¡Which was something that he didn¡¯t want to do!
If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
For so many years Connor had put up with his father mocking him and telling him that he just wasn¡¯t good enough! He had not done any kind of retaliation to his father¡¯s hurtful words! It was like¡Two years of anger had finally blown up inside him and he had let it lose! And¡It was for a good reason!
Connor did want his father and mother in his life, he wanted to share them with Amillia and give her the best experience he could give her! She didn¡¯t have a mum or dad anymore, so it was his, she could have his but¡He wanted his father to get his head out of his ass first!
Suddenly¡His father slapped him in the face and Connor grabbed his arm, ¡°I know, that you wish it was me instead of Cameron that had died! I have known all this time! It has been years and you still haven¡¯t accepted the fact that I¡¯m still here! You still think I¡¯m a boy, you don¡¯t trust my judgement, you don¡¯t see my happiness! And¡I¡¯m sick of waiting! Waiting for you to be proud of me, waiting for you to accept me! I don¡¯t care for it anymore!¡±
Conner hadn''t realized that his voice had slowly risen to a shout while he was stating his inner most thoughts. He had even gotten to a point that he didn¡¯t even care if his father was really listening to him or not because¡He really hadn¡¯t much want to care about his father at the moment!
Connor let go of his arm, he couldn¡¯t look at his father a moment longer and decided to clean up the mess that he had made with the photo frame.
His father stood there silently, waiting for Connor to clean up so that he could move because of being bare foot and not wanting to step on glass. Connor saw his movement to go pick up the picture, but Connor got to it before him and without looking at him, he put it out of reach, saying, ¡°I¡¯ll be keeping this! When you make your choice, I will do what is required.¡±
As soon as he was finished cleaning, his father made yet another move towards the picture, to which Connor took it again.
His father was boiling mad, Connor had never seen him so mad and it was making him feel strange, as if he didn¡¯t care. For the first time in his life, his father¡¯s mood or reasoning''s behind his moods didn¡¯t matter to him at all...
His father put out his hand, ¡°Give it to me Connor! Now!¡±
Connor held his stance, ¡°No!¡±
He had gone this far, he wasn¡¯t going to back down now and become that ¡®nobody¡¯ in his father¡¯s eyes once again! Even if he was thought of as a bad guy, at least it was better then before! Anything was better then feeling like he should have been the one that had died instead of his brother!
¡°You cannot come into my house and take my possessions like this, it is theft!¡± His father still did not remove his outstretched hand.
Connor could see the outcome already, his father was going to be an old, lonely man. ¡°And you can¡¯t tell me how to live my life! I¡¯m sick and tired of trying to get your opinion of me upgraded to something more than it is! I¡¯ve had it! I am happy with who I am, and no one should tell me otherwise and you will let mum do her poems as well, and you will like it old man! Besides¡Don¡¯t you think that we are living borrowed lives? Why can¡¯t we take advantage of the fact that we are still alive! Go ahead, put me up for theft and I¡¯ll burn it!¡±
His father went to go hit him again, but Connor stopped him. ¡°I feel sorry for you Bruce. You go around threatening everyone, yet when you are in that position you go a step further and try to give the blame to somebody else. You hold a lot of anger, but I¡¯m sick of you blaming me! I won¡¯t come by for a few days, as I don¡¯t want to lose my temper at you again, but you will see us. Again, you have a few weeks to change!¡±
With that Connor walked up to his mother¡¯s room and gave her a kiss. ¡°I love you mum, we are off, we¡¯ll come back soon ok.¡±
His mother took his hands and looked at him, ¡°I¡¯m sorry he¡¯s like this Connor, I have tried but he has to do this alone¡I didn¡¯t think it would take so long though...Right well, I love you both, see us again soon!¡±
Connor kissed his mother¡¯s hands and turned to Amillia. Things were ok again, she filled his heart with such warmth that the thought of losing his father to bitterness wasn¡¯t so bad. If he thought about it more, he¡¯d probably realize that he got his strength from Amillia, yet he didn¡¯t want to go into depth upon why he suddenly stated all those words to his father. As far as he was aware, they were said, it was done, and upon the reason why he had said them didn¡¯t matter anymore¡
He put his hand out to Amillia, as she put hers out to him, ¡°Ready?¡±
With a nod from her and a wave, they were gone¡
Connor had to start getting things together, not only did he want to kick the cancer in the butt, he still had to go to work and look after Amillia. Smiling, when the car was out of the driveway, Connor felt a great weight lifted from his shoulders!
He was going to do this, and he was even looking forward to it! He had to admit though, speaking to his father the way he did, felt awesome! Connor nodded and thought he¡¯s gone from a Jedi knight to a Jedi master! But¡His heart still hadn¡¯t gotten back to normal yet!
Connor smiled, ¡°I feel like I could beat up an anaconda!¡±
Amillia laughed at him.
¡°I''m serious! I have never talked to him like that! I feel invincible! Haha!¡±
Amillia didn''t want to be the one to take him off his high horse when what he said might have been what needed to be said.
As much as she wished everything worked out nicely for her first visit to her future in laws, she couldn¡¯t¡
She had never thought Connor would yell at his own father!
That surely was a surprise and probably pretty embarrassing for them but¡Amillia knew Connor and knew of his feelings¡So she understood.
Connor wanted them to be a family and felt like this episode had to be done or that they couldn¡¯t move forward, it was just sad that it had to be done on this day, the first day to have met them¡
Hopefully, she thought, they¡¯ll get along and well, perhaps it was this very day that made it possible¡Who knows!
Volume 2, Chapter 6
On the way home Connor and Amillia talked about the conversation that Amillia had with his mother. It was light conversation at first but the yelling from the two men, from just down the hall, made his mother apologise and say that he has been like this since the death of Cameron. Amillia had asked her how she could stand it, even though it was a risk of asking but for her sake she didn''t understand at all. Well, she had seen a bit of Connor¡¯s mother in his thoughts and memories but still had not put together who she was and why she was putting up with his father so easily.
If her man acted like one of his son¡¯s didn¡¯t exist, having wanted one to die instead of the other¡Then on top of that mocked his living son, Amillia would be very angry! So¡That was why she didn¡¯t understand Connor¡¯s mother¡
Connor told her, before she continued to tell him the conversation she had with his mother, that his mum loved his dad, that his mother took the good with the bad. It wasn¡¯t just that too, she was from a time that divorce wasn¡¯t looked well upon. She not only wanted things to work out, but this was her life and she had accepted it. In fact, it was his mother that made Connor see how many didn¡¯t take marriage seriously in the last decade¡
Connor then went into an older story of his dad, from when they were younger, on how his mum couldn''t give him anything other than advice to change a bad habit. His father hadn''t taken the advice but changed promptly when it occurred to him through a bad episode of health with his mum.
Amillia pondered and figured that his father¡¯s bad behavior may have been the reason for his mother¡¯s illness and finally sought to change, simply because he didn¡¯t want to live without her¡Of course, from what she could see and not being told more, Amillia just assumed this silently.
Connor was silent for a while and admitted that if there is anything that he did get from his father, it was the affection that he had for loved ones, especially his girl. He told Amillia that if there was a weakness for Bruce, it was his mother, Eve.
Connor never understood though, why his father was so hard on him and nobody else in the family. His mother was his father¡¯s love, his brother was his father¡¯s pride and he¡Was he anything but a sore loser in his father¡¯s eyes?
Why¡Why couldn¡¯t they just get along!?
Ever since the bridge, meaning Cameron, had died, they had not once been able to have a simple conversation¡
***
Andrea had little to do but sit, eat, sleep, think of patterns and with Cameron only able to come back in the visiting hours, she had quite a few hours on her hands to only have herself to keep her entertained. There was too much time to worry and stress over things that were out of her control¡And the biggest problem out of her control was¡How could she overcome a miscarriage, when it is inevitable?
For three hours, Andrea was alone, until she had to prove that she wasn¡¯t crazy to the psychologist.
¡°Would there be a reason for you to talk to yourself Andrea? Would there be a connection to this and your sister¡¯s death?¡± The psychologist said.
Andrea tried to figure out how to answer without giving too much away and¡What was with the questions! Weren¡¯t they a professional?
Idiot, Andrea stated to herself, they don¡¯t know anything about me, but¡Starting so quickly with questions¡
Clearly, Andrea was nervous¡
Oh¡What was the question again? Something about connection with her sister and talking to herself¡To her, Amillia wasn¡¯t dead, but of course telling this person that should not be something that she should do!
¡°Uh, I did not deal with her passing well¡I was a wreck for quite a while, and I got a lot better when I started talking to myself.¡±
Andrea knew that ¡®reason¡¯ was vague, also sounding ridiculous, as it was leaving out pretty much two years¡¯ worth of information, but she wasn¡¯t really one to go into deep conversations with just anyone!
The psychologist nodded, Andrea liked that she was open minded and looked like she understood her discomfort, ¡°And what of your brother Andrea, did he see much change in you in the last couple of years?¡±
Andrea thought back, ¡°He stayed at arm¡¯s length for a while, every now and then tried and give me a life. I saw him nearly always once a week and he tried to set me up a few times with men.¡±
¡°And, how did you cope with him doing that?¡± The question was just that, and Andrea wondered if the psychologist was really trying to figure out what was wrong or wasn¡¯t worried about Andrea and was just filling in some time. Perhaps she might be lucky and get out of here in no time then!
If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it.
¡°Alright, he has a great wife and she would talk to him for me and I just hung around for a while just not to be rude. I think the men got the picture quite easily that I wasn¡¯t interested.¡±
¡°Would there be a reason for that? Was it timing, place or was it because of your sister?¡± The psychologist asked.
Amillia looked down, remembering that it was all three, well, that and that she really and simply wasn¡¯t interested¡
¡°It was¡I didn¡¯t really see any kind of relationship out of them. They seemed to be on a different wavelength, didn¡¯t connect, that sort of thing. But obviously that is in the past now, now that I have found Cameron.¡±
Andrea frowned for a moment and had a slight bit of panic go through her when the place where she was at, right at this moment, probably had records to state this ¡®Cameron¡¯ as died!
Luckily, they didn¡¯t ask about Cameron¡¯s last name!
The conversation continued about her relationship with Cameron, then onto his brother, as Andrea accidently brought him up, and then was asked how happy she felt. Life in general seemed to be good enough for the psychologist and after being told that she was cleared in her department, the psychologist then asked about the baby. Andrea had nearly forgotten how fun it was to talk about her unborn child and got carried away with news and how reactions occurred towards the pregnancy.
Just as Andrea had thought, it seemed that the psychologist wasn¡¯t going to go into deep conversation with her and was somewhat glad that sometimes the hospitals rushed to get people to leave.
It might not be good for someone who needed to stay but for her, where she didn¡¯t think she belonged in the hospital like this, it has, for a change, worked out rather well!
Cameron had been rung up and before long Andrea was interrupted with his appearance, the conversation was happily ended and Andrea could finally leave the hospital, only to come back again tomorrow morning for her next check up with the doctor. After the check up tomorrow, Andrea would only need to come in if there are any major concerns from a local doctor instead, so it was all good news¡
Cameron and Andrea were on ground floor, closer to freedom, when he brought her closer to him. He had quickly searched the area for people before he teleported. When the brightness faded Cameron moved closer again towards Andrea and took her face into his hands and kissed her gently, as he had missed her.
Time on this planet was so different, he was always busy back being a spirit but now, that he has come ¡®back¡¯ here, he doesn¡¯t know what to do with himself¡Not only that but a part of him never felt right when being a part from her. Eagerness enveloped him and he would find himself drumming his fingers or lifting his whole leg in little bounces in irritation to the loss of her presence. Then, having done these little things frustrated him more because it was annoying to his eyes or his ears! Yet¡He simply couldn¡¯t help it¡
He had even started to realize that he got a headache while being away from Andrea, really not understanding how that worked at all! How could it be normal to obtain a headache through someone¡¯s loss of presence?
It didn¡¯t make any sense!
¡While visiting hours were closed Cameron had eaten, even had a nap and surfed the internet for potential cancer cures but it was never in the least bit satisfying¡Until now, now that she was in his arms once again. It was like, he only made sense when she was beside him¡
The biggest thing on his mind was his unborn child and trying to come up with something that would help against termination. Cameron had forgotten how sadness and anger had felt until now, but it was definitely something he didn¡¯t want to get used to. ¡°I am glad that you are out, I have been lonely without you. I have not seen Connor nor Amillia and nothing has come to mind on how to figure out our questions.¡±
He watched her face and her smile forming, then heard her response ¡°Love you too.¡±
The feeling going through him after hearing this was so great that Cameron sighed. Why had he longed to hear this so much yet before, while he had been alive, he hadn¡¯t much worried about it at all? It was the total opposite¡
Actually, he really did think he had changed quite a bit since he was last human. His personality might not change so much but there was something else that he couldn¡¯t put an understanding upon, and it was starting to come through to be known of more and more often¡
Cameron gave Andrea another quick kiss before moving away from her and walking towards the car, then he heard her wonder why the car was at Roma Street Parklands. ¡°More parking here.¡±
Her laughter was the highlight of his day, following close behind was his child¡¯s heartbeat, so Cameron¡¯s day was already much to his liking¡Most possibly his favorite day so far¡
Andrea scoffed at his talent of teleportation and said, ¡°Cheat.¡±
Cameron laughed, ¡°I am not a cheat. I am just taking advantage of the situation.¡±
Just as Andrea put on her seat belt and was ready for the trip home, her mobile rang. She did see, when she got it back and turned it on, that she had a few messages and missed phone calls. But this time it was Connor, not her brother, ¡°Yo Andy, Sup?¡±
Andrea rolled her eyes, ¡°Hey Connor, I¡¯m out and heading home. You guys going to your place or mine?¡±
¡°We are headed back to mine, oh and hey, I think I have figured one thing out, so I¡¯ll see ya¡¯s soon.¡±
Before she could say more, he hung up!
¡He seemed to be one of those guys that always wanted the last say¡
¡°Yes, he is like that, I did not fight with him much as I would always seem to lose out.¡± Cameron smiled and then laughed, ¡°We got on so much better after that.¡±
Andrea let out a giggle, it was nice to be happy again, the last month has been long enough and she felt like she deserved this. ¡°He said that he found¡¡±
Cameron interrupted, ¡°He may have found something and that we are going to his place.¡±
Andrea huffed and thought that there¡¯s no need to speak anymore, that she might as well become mute!
Cameron laughed, ¡°I will retain myself from interrupting you again then my love, I am sorry. I would much rather hear your sweet voice in any circumstance, I do indeed feel like a fool!¡±
Andrea smiled at him, ¡°It¡¯s ok. I can¡¯t imagine what it would be like to know what people are thinking all the time, I¡¯m pretty sure it would annoy the hell outta me¡It¡¯s funny, when you¡¯re a child you wish you had powers and become a hero. But then you grow up and meet someone with something like a special power, things seem to be fine not to have it.¡±
¡°It is very different to my old life Andrea, I feel like this life is separate, as though I have been born again. I have the memories of my being here before I died, but I do not feel like the same person. I still feel like the spirit that has come to earth again, not the child that was born here and grew to be a man.¡±
Cameron continued to watch the road but picked her hand up and gave it a kiss. ¡°My being right now is in love with you, but the being that was on this earth originally may have had different feelings towards you¡I hope I am making some kind of sense for you to understand.¡±
Volume 2, Chapter 7
Andrea looked down at their entwined hands, she understood most of it. She didn¡¯t understand how this could happen though, that a spirit and a human could fall in love and even conceive a child. The spirit reading thoughts, coming back to earth as a human, getting sick with a death sentence and yet life must go on, Andrea thought.
She looked up at Cameron, ¡°Why haven¡¯t you been uh¡Calling? What happened to your job?¡±
Cameron looked at her quickly, before turning back to the road, ¡°I am not sure. I have thought of it once or twice before you have just now brought it up, but I did not come up with some kind of answer. I believe that connections with the transpers have seized by my being here.¡±
Sitting back and closing her eyes, there were so many things to consider. The Azulious may come to get her sister and Cameron as, surely, they should know how to get here¡Or¡Would they not know?
Could it be that while Cameron and Amillia were here, on Earth, that they were safe from the Azulious?
Andrea found more questions about health, if by miracle she somehow kept this child alive, how would she overcome being without Cameron if he was gone? And then the opposite, how many miscarriages would it take for us to understand that having a child wouldn¡¯t happen?
Andrea felt a tear slide down to her chin. Crying was not usual to her and she wiped it away roughly, opening her eyes to see Cameron looking at her.
The car had stopped, they were parked at Connor¡¯s house behind his car, and Andrea wasn¡¯t sure how long he had just sat there waiting for her to notice.
¡°Not long Andrea, I believe you are being emotional, a symptom to pregnancy perhaps?¡±
Andrea smiled at him, he noticed a lot about her, it was something she wasn¡¯t used to yet and it still overwhelmed her.
Cameron smiled and got out of the car, walking around to the other side and he opened her side of the car door. How she loved the gentleman inside him, how he wanted to look after her and make her feel special.
He helped her out of the car and pulled her close to him into a hug, stoking her hair, and he rested his head on top of hers. Andrea couldn¡¯t believe how nice it was just to stand there and be held, like a child saying hello to a loved one after the first day of school. Andrea didn¡¯t want to let go but after some time Cameron pulled her back a bit, he kissed her lightly on the lips, holding her to a promise, and then pulled back, to take her hands to then walk to the front door.
Cameron opened the door for them and walked into Connor¡¯s house after Andrea. Connor was yelling profanities with Amillia laughing and Cameron welcomed the change in mood. He was worried that Andrea was starting to get upset and it seemed it was the right time to walk through the front door!
Looking at Andrea, he saw her smile and responded with one of his own, satisfied that she was thinking emotionally better now.
¡°Oh, for crying out loud! Look at that idiot just standing there, what a moron!¡± Connor huffed.
Amillia giggled and said, ¡°He was the ¡®me¡¯ in team honey. Ha, maybe he spilt his drink over the keyboard.¡±
¡°Woman! You are making excuses for everybody, I can¡¯t see you playin'' this game and making excuses then!¡±
Connor was silent for a moment, ¡°Oh! For friggin'' sakes! That¡¯s it, I¡¯m done! Stupid game!¡±
Cameron thought it would be polite to announce their arrival at that moment, ¡°Connor, Amillia, we are finally altogether again.¡±
Amillia looked up at them and smiled, she made her way over to Andrea and gave her a hug. ¡°Bout time crazy girl, how is the little one?¡±
Amillia got down on her knees and put her hands-on Andrea¡¯s tummy. Silence filled the room and for some reason excitement ran through Cameron¡¯s veins. He watched Amillia¡¯s face, her voice cooing and saying that Aunty loves it very much. Suddenly, she seized her cooing and removed her hands from Andrea¡¯s tummy, ¡°The child seems to be slowing its circulation and I feel like it isn¡¯t the way it¡¯s supposed to be. How did the check-ups go?¡±
Andrea looked up at Cameron and he moved closer to put a hand around her, ¡°We heard a heartbeat but apparently it was not as averagely strong as the day before, otherwise the baby seemed to be fine in the doctor¡¯s eyes.¡±
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
Amillia looked angry, ¡°Ok, well I¡¯ll be watching over this child in any case.¡±
Connor came up behind her then and put two hands on her shoulders, ¡°I¡¯m sure they won¡¯t mind Amie. Look guys, the idea I thought of came up with a conversation I had with Amillia. She told me about Cameron losing his cancer when you guys teleported back to whatever Ville. I reckon you guys should do that again when needed.¡±
Cameron nodded, ¡°That is definitely one way to go, but I am sure that the Azulious would find us after teleporting and keep us from returning...¡±
Andrea raised her eyebrows and asked, ¡°Did Piet say anything about doing that kind of thing?¡±
Amillia shook her head and said, ¡°No, well not much, in fact he seemed quite vague over everything he had said. Would it be worth it to try it out, considering there may be no return ticket?¡±
Cameron tightened his hold around Andrea and said, ¡°Well, we may put that as a last resort, in the meantime it could be a good idea to check out other prospects.¡±
¡°Like what? Seriously, I haven¡¯t found anything, the best was something taken off the internet several times! It¡¯s hard to keep up with it, actually¡It sounded like a cure for cancer but looks like someone doesn¡¯t want a cure though. People have taken it and been cured, and I mean cured from their death beds, and not just with cancer either. But the person behind it is persistent, they keep putting it up somewhere else after several hours. Other things were not too much out of the norm, chemo and tablets¡What not.¡± Connor sighed and then kissed Amillia. ¡®Talked to dad today Cameron, he knows about Amillia and I getting hitched and about her having cancer. Still didn¡¯t stop him from yelling at me but I gave him an ultimatum, see if he can grow up. Hehe¡¡±
Cameron raised his eyebrows to that, Connor had not talked back to their father very much at all to his knowledge. And on top of that, an ultimatum, to Cameron¡¯s surprise he thought it was a little over the top and felt bad for his father. ¡°I wish I could talk to him¡To see him again.¡±
¡°And me with my brother, oh and the niece I¡¯ve never meet!¡± Amillia smiled. ¡°Maybe we can swoop spots for a day just to see them hey, reckon we could pull it off?¡±
Andrea put her head against Cameron¡¯s shoulder and added, ¡°Well, my brother seems to be in the mood to see me. Four messages and two missed calls from him, so you¡¯re welcome to take my spot for the next visit, but if I was you I wouldn¡¯t, he¡¯d probably yell your head off or try to hook you up.¡±
¡°Yeah he¡¯s a funny one isn¡¯t he.¡± Connor adding his thoughts, and then Cameron, ¡°I liked him, he cares for Andrea very much.¡±
They heard light snoring then and looked at Andrea, as she had fallen asleep, and they stifled a laugh as Cameron picked her up and took her to a bedroom that Connor pointed out.
¡Nothing woke her up and Cameron didn¡¯t know whether to be worried or not about her exhaustion.
¡°This is quite normal in a pregnancy, the child still looks uneasy though, but she is just tired, I think she needs this.¡± Cameron forgot that Amillia could read his mind still, being a higher being in the spirit world was easily recognized but here, as people, it was different.
He watched Amillia as she stared at Andrea¡¯s sleeping body, and then she walked closer to her and kneeled down on the floor.
Cameron watched as Amillia put her hands on top of Andrea¡¯s tummy and started to glow¡
With these simple acts, Cameron didn¡¯t know why he finally felt at ease, like this is what he had been waiting for since seeing Amillia from returning with Andrea. But, he did not understand why he felt this way so Cameron opened his mouth but wasn¡¯t sure whether to stop it or let it continue, as, would this be an answer or just something that they can scrub of the list of what was not going to work?
But, not even ten seconds past before Amillia¡¯s glow disappeared and she got up and turned to Cameron, smiling. ¡°Baby is much better now!¡±
Such good news! Andrea will be happy!
His child was safe and growing, and Cameron went still to a sudden image of a girl entering into his mind¡
A bit distracted Cameron smiled back at Amillia, but both of their smiles disappeared when she asked, ¡°Why does it work on the child and not us?¡±
***
¡°What, really? Oh my.¡± Andrea was over the moon, her child seemed to be blossoming at the moment, and that was not even her words. Andrea wanted to celebrate, she felt like she had so much energy all of a sudden!
Her sixteen-hour nap was very refreshing, and she was looking forward to going to see the doctor. Andrea didn¡¯t know how awesome Amillia¡¯s talents were until just now and already knew that they will come in handy so much¡She was looking forward to knowing every little thing about what the child does!
Andrea stopped for a moment and sighed, she will lay back on Amillia as she knew better than anyone that if she were to get too annoying Amillia and what she would be doing would seize altogether, as her sister would only tolerate so much.
Cameron seemed to be beside himself, he told her that we shouldn¡¯t have to worry about a miscarriage now, well as long as Amillia can see that nothing is wrong, so then the child being born may actually happen!
Andrea saw that he actually was holding back on some enthusiasm about the pregnancy because when she woke up, he was all over her and talking about how excited he was, which in turn made her excited and it went from there.
Andrea got into the shower and felt even better when water was running down her skin.
She was so happy that she was quite quickly washed, dried and dressed, just to get back to the action outside of the bathroom.
Andrea caught the end of a conversation that Amillia was talking about, ¡°¡in the hospital, I remember that! At least we know the connection now! I wonder what happened to that.¡±
¡°Why you though? Why that picture? I mean, was this in motion before you guys spat the dummy the first time or what?¡± Connor, as usual, put in his thoughts.
¡°Hey you, watch it! I did not spit the dummy!¡± Amillia hit Connor on the shoulder.
¡°Yeah you did, you also peed ya pants pretty good.¡± Connor poked his tongue out.
¡°Oh, you are in big trouble mister.¡± Amillia pushed him against the wall and went to put her knee to his manly area and said, ¡°Go on try me.¡±
Connor smiled sheepishly and put his hands up in surrender.
With the man in her power surrendering, Amillia put her knee down and went to kiss him instead.
Volume 2, Chapter 8
Andrea couldn¡¯t take it anymore, ¡°Oi! Before you take this to another room, fill me in first hey!¡±
Cameron came over to her lazily smiling and seeing this different side of Cameron made her happy. He was always so serious, seeing him laid back and happy was a nice change. Not that she didn¡¯t like him when he was serious!
When he was in front of her, he put his forehead against hers and silently said, ¡°I will tell you on the way to the hospital, we have to get going, I am not usually one to be late.¡±
Andrea kissed him, ¡°I¡¯ll finish getting ready then.¡±
She heard whispers from Connor and Amillia but couldn¡¯t work out what was being quietly said, then their laughter made her stop to look at them¡They really were a pack of thieves, she thought.
The laughter and the giddy happiness in the atmosphere made Andrea sort of lose it and she started to laugh too. She put her hand over her mouth to try and contain herself, but it wasn¡¯t really working! She couldn¡¯t help but be happy with things looking up, as her sister was here, and she was happy, her child was doing fine, and she had met the most lovable man that she had ever known¡
It almost felt like the happiness that would be ripped to shreds in mere moments¡
With that thought, Andrea cleared her throat and no longer felt like laughing. It wasn¡¯t like she stopped being happy, it was more out of self-defense, so that if something bad were to suddenly happen¡She wouldn¡¯t fall into a pit of despair¡
***
Connor had to leave for work¡But it was hard to leave, and he never thought he would feel this way!
Finally, though, he made it to work at the Brisbane library just in time and as he was walking in, he caught a glimpse of Sarah looking at him. He had absolutely no desire to go and talk to her, like he may have used to, and just went to go up the stairs, when she called out his name¡
Muttering to himself, he turned around and walked over to her, he didn¡¯t want to be there, he would prefer to work then talk to this girl that knew of the old Connor. ¡°What¡¯s up?¡±
¡°You¡¯ve been very quiet Connor, is there something on your mind?¡± She had her head tilted and if the old Connor was around he would have put his face right up next to hers, leaning on the desk and said something like, ¡®Just checkin'' new ways to get your attention sweet lips¡¡¯
But now. he shrugged and simply said, ¡°Nah I¡¯m great, fabulous even. How are you doin''?¡±
How it worked on where he suddenly no longer cared to be a playboy, he hadn¡¯t a clue! What he did know though, was that he was owned, he was taken and completely satisfied with that!
Yeah, him¡Connor, the idiot, the bastard who has trouble taking anything seriously, has a girlfriend! No¡Wait! A fianc¨¦!
Suddenly, he felt like laughing! As much as he didn¡¯t want to change his current circumstances, it didn¡¯t change the fact that this was most definitely weird!
It really wasn¡¯t all that long ago that he didn¡¯t really believe in ¡®love at first sight¡¯ and that there were men really happy to be with one woman for years and years¡
Sarah put her bottom lip between her teeth and looked up at Connor. How could he not know that she was trying to flirt and the fact that he didn¡¯t care in the slightest, made him want to laugh even more.
Watching the girl not having a clue that he was not interested, go on to speak, Connor sighed, ¡°I¡¯m good, my girls are wondering what to do this weekend. Say, would you be interested in a pajama party, of course¡You would know that some of us don¡¯t actually wear pj¡¯s¡¡±
A few people looked their way with astonishment written on their faces and pure jealousy on the males of course!
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Connor looked back at Sarah with a smile, ¡°Actually I¡¯m busy, thanks though and have a good time.¡±
And then he leisurely went to walk up the stairs¡
He heard her yell his name and knew that she could not believe that he had knocked her back, especially with such a good invitation!
With that, he couldn¡¯t hold it in anymore, his laughter was huge and lasted until he got to the locker room!

¡°So, the picture does hold a connection. Was that the same for Piet?¡± Andrea asked Cameron, while walking up to the doctors. They decided to take the staircase because teleportation made things to quick and they were early.
¡°He said that three places connected him. The garden and front of the hospital and Roma Street Parklands, yet we can go to fourth floor.¡± Cameron answered slowing down, he had forgotten about exercise until now, puffing slightly he thought to go for a walk later to keep fit.
¡°Mmmm, I wonder, with Piet having three places to teleport and us four, if anyone that might have been before Piet had only two places to teleport?¡±
Cameron looked at Andrea and by reading her mind he could see that she was putting something together in her head, it was more so lines and boxes¡Actually, he had never thought of anyone else having the same thing happen, other then Piet and themselves but¡Could there be even more in the past then?
¡He thought back to a memory of his former life and believed what Andrea was doing in her head, that the box type pattern, was like that of a family tree of some kind. But it disappeared and he heard her sigh, ¡°Why is a teleportation link or whatever there in the first place? Has this happened a third or fourth time, is there any way we could actually find out? Seriously, we are going to go crazy asking all these questions Cameron, we may as well just not think about it and stay sane!¡±
Cameron sighed along with her, and said, ¡°We are indeed asking a lot of questions that we may not even get the answers to. I suppose what we should be looking at is some kind of cure for cancer instead, or time will become too short and it won¡¯t matter...¡±
Before they got to the door, Andrea stopped and looked up at him asking through thoughts upon if they will actually find a cure or will it be too late. It was obvious, without looking into her thoughts, upon how upset the thought of losing him was like. Her eyes, her face¡It all turned sad and Cameron could not handle it, he wanted to be close to her, always, even in death. There was something there, something he was addicted to or something he felt that was attached to Andrea and there was just no if¡¯s¡There was no other way¡His happiness was in the palm of her hand and if she was upset like this, it hurt him to a point it was harder to breath¡
He had read books on people in love and thought that this was probably it but¡There was something deep inside him that also played a part¡For some reason he felt like he had waited an eternity to be with this woman, this very human woman that cried¡She wasn¡¯t some superhuman, she wasn¡¯t the most beautiful woman either but¡She was like his other arms and legs¡Or whatever, like he¡¯d lost her ages ago and never wanted to let her go ever again¡
Was this like every other love or could he really state he was different?
Whatever it was, Cameron couldn¡¯t think more upon it if Andrea looked this way and so¡He took her in his arms and mumbled through her hair, ¡°I hope not, I will further my search today and try to find something that will at least give us another month at the least.¡±
Walking into the eighth level, they went up to the desk and was told to sit down in the waiting area.
Andrea¡¯s phone went off, making the receptionist look at her, and saw that her brother was trying to contact her again. Andrea quickly hung up on him and tried to look not so obvious messaging him that she would see him soon and that she was at work. At least she wasn¡¯t lying, she thought, putting her phone away. She really was at work!
¡°Did you want to see him next?¡± Cameron asked.
Andrea sighed, a lot of that was going around lately, ¡°Not really, I¡¯m sure he¡¯d have some kind of problem with me! He would want to make whatever it is known to the world¡That swapping idea is growing on me!¡±
They made their way to the waiting chairs and Andrea leaned against him, she may not be used to this partner thing, but she liked it. Her thoughts were so opposite before Cameron, it is hard to remember how she felt and what she thought, it was as though not only Cameron was renewed, but her as well.
Cameron smiled at Andrea¡¯s thoughts, he could sit here all day and listen to her. He swirled his finger up and down her arm seeing puppies and kittens in his head. Cameron was just about ready to doze off when the pictures stopped, her voice wasn¡¯t there either, there was nothing. Cameron looked down at Andrea and moved her head to the side a little so that he could see her.
Sighing with relief, he realized that Andrea was asleep!
He didn¡¯t believe how easily it was to get worried here on this planet! There were definitely advantages in the spirit world, he thought, continuing his finger up and down Andrea¡¯s arm. Not being able to have such emotions, like in the spirit world, was good and what he would state as easier¡But then he realized the sweet emotions, like love, and decided that life was about all the emotions, not just the good or the bad.
It was like an old part of his last human life was being renewed, as he continued to think about life and filling it up with as much as you can. Experiencing life and experiencing different emotions, different paths. Being happy and sad are two different things and both should be experienced. Being rich and being poor, again two different paths that should be experienced. Being honest, being dishonest¡Everything!
¡Like he being a spirit and human, he was able to do what¡No one but he and Amillia has done! Oh¡And Piet¡
He was only one of two people that knew what it was like to be a spirit and to know that such things as emotions was both a blessing and curse! He knew that some kids that he had talked to before did shut out emotions, but not having them at all was something else entirely. He also felt like his existence meant more now that his emotions had returned to him¡Now that he felt¡Well, that¡¯s it isn¡¯t it¡Emotions are feelings, which really is another way to experience life¡
Volume 2, Chapter 9
¡°Miss Sage, the doctor is ready for you now.¡± A voice said, ¡°Right through this door please.¡±
Cameron tapped lightly on Andrea¡¯s arm, then harder when she didn¡¯t stir. ¡°We can go in now.¡±
Andrea got up and stretched, when she looked around to see faces looking at her, she remembered where she was and started walking with apology written on her face.
¡°Do not be sorry, you were not out long sweetheart.¡± Cameron said.
Walking up through the psychic ward, they then made their way to the doctor¡¯s office and sat down.
The doctor was silent for a moment, checking the computer, then turned herself towards her patients, ¡°Ok, nice to see you guys again. How are you feeling Andrea?¡±
Andrea shrugged, ¡°Good actually, besides the fact that I seem to be able to sleep at the drop of a hat lately. Is that normal?¡±
The doctor smiled, ¡°It¡¯s very common that woman would not only sleep more in the first trimester but also her last trimester. It does tend to vary, as we are not all the same but sleeping easily and more often is not something I would worry over needlessly. Now your test results have come back, and everything seems to be fine except your iron levels. I¡¯ve got a prescription for you to help you there and if you haven¡¯t already, I want you to get onto the prenatal tablets, they will also help. Now, I¡¯ll get you to do the usual, please.¡±
Andrea took the cup that the doctor held out for her and stood up¡The ¡®usual¡¯ was probably a pretty good thing to say about this particular process, Andrea thought.
Once she was out of the room the doctor turned to Cameron, ¡°Is there any questions from you Cameron?¡±
Cameron nodded once, ¡°Is there more I could do for her, of course I will try very hard that she will eat healthy and sleep well, but what about doing something else so that it is easier for her?¡±
The doctor smiled again, ¡°It is also very common that the father¡¯s respond with this exact question, but unfortunately the best you can do is understand her mood swings, be there for when she cries and try to help her if she¡¯s angry. You obviously have the others under control, like eating and exercising. Don¡¯t bother yourself too much Cameron, she will need you often, especially when she is in third trimester and onwards. You won¡¯t even have enough time on your hands to worry when your child is born.¡±
Cameron smiled, ¡°Thank you.¡±
With that, the doctor turned back to the computer and said, ¡°No problem.¡±
Cameron silently waited for Andrea, thinking how fathers have gone centuries wondering how they could help. With that in mind, he remembered a trip that he had once made to a transper, he had seen the vision of a female giving birth, with people around yelling. They had told her to push and he had felt himself puffing, as though he was the one giving birth and after a while, he found himself exhausted and nearly fainting. After a moment he looked back into the vision and saw that a child had been put in her arms and after the mother only a quick look, everything had gone black and that was the end¡
Giving birth¡
Why were humans created in a way that giving birth was so painful!?
Cameron had somehow known that there was nothing else and had made the transper more comfortable before leaving that time¡But now, remembering the short-lived mother figure leaving behind a small dependent child, made Cameron extra anxious and he quickly looked at the doctor and said, ¡°Are you sure? Are you sure that there¡¯s nothing more that I can do!? What¡What is the ratio of a pregnant woman dying while giving birth in this age? You will have equipment, you will keep¡¡±
¡°Cameron, calm down¡¡± The doctor stated, putting her hands up, even ready to pat Cameron on the shoulder to help soothe him more, ¡°It¡¯s highly unlikely that Andrea will die, we will make sure that nothing happens to her but you¡You need to calm down or she¡¯s going to know that you are panicking and is that going to help her? Uh?¡±

Cameron blinked and took a deep breath and swallowed¡
He lost his composure¡Lost it¡Completely!
¡°Thank you. I will not panic!¡± Cameron stated, nodding his head¡To himself¡

Amillia woke to her own words being yelled¡
Sitting up, she saw that she was sweating and tried to remember what she had spoken. After another minute, she laid back down and closed her eyes, just about ready to drift off again, when she saw Piet and his black aura around him. She remembered now, she had yelled out ¡®No!¡¯ But what for she wasn¡¯t sure, laying there she tried to remember what it was that had woken her up, besides that of her own voice, why had she yelled it out? And why is it that it feels extremely important that she remembers!?
Trying to get more comfortable, she realized that she can¡¯t remember¡How silly it was to have dreams and not remember what they were!
Turning to her other side, she huffed, thinking about dreams and their importance. How can they hold something of reason, something vital to man or spirit kind, and then not be able to remember what that reason was? How cruel humanity was!
Amillia laughed, she may like certain people of this world, but it was hard to call it home. In the spirit realm, it felt like things were less¡Complicated¡
Why is it that humans had come to an age that living had so many dramas!?
Perhaps it would be better if the humans hadn¡¯t advanced so rapidly and were still living in tents like that of what the Indians used to do!
Bah¡
Again, she sat up and decided that there was no more of a nap to happen today, she was already too much awake!
Getting up out of bed wasn¡¯t tricky, it was staying on her feet that seemed to be harder than she thought, as she fell back onto the bed. The spirit world didn¡¯t have these things, she thought, we didn¡¯t sleep, didn¡¯t eat, didn¡¯t have to do much at all actually. In fact, she was sure that gravity was different here as well!
But now getting out of bed seems to be difficult, just because of being tired. Amillia understood now why Connor liked shooting people on his TV. Perhaps it really did help get rid of some frustrations¡
Finally getting out of the bedroom, she walked towards the kitchen and opened the fridge, she knew that she should eat something¡Yet another thing that she was still trying to get used to and accept!
Deciding on something easy, such as two-minute noddles, she put the pan on and went to the toilet. Again, as she sat there, she tried to imagine what it was that made her upset in her sleep. She saw Piet, saw his aura, yelled ¡®no¡¯ and woke up. Putting her memory down a notch, she tried to just picture Piet, it wasn¡¯t a very good picture, but she knew it was him. Without even thinking, his black aura went around him.
Amillia was starting to get angry with herself, perhaps because she didn¡¯t understand¡She even felt like she wasn¡¯t even able to do the simplest of things at the moment!
Washing her hands, she thought of something different. She figured she would turn, and pretend Piet was there in front of her, so she turned and tried to imagine him.
She felt herself walk towards him and want to touch him, words filled her head, the words of the spirits, and she knew it was her instincts. She held her breath and tried to stop walking. Her feet didn¡¯t stop, Amillia put down her heels more firmly and found herself stopping¡With that, she also got Piet off her mind and closed her eyes.
She thought of Connor and smiled, thought of Andrea and felt glad to be here and then thought of the unborn child inside of Andrea¡
She saw the tiny spark inside of Andrea, it was so tiny that zooming in was compulsory. Amillia opened her eyes and looked sideways out of the door, not seeing anything, more so thinking. Why was it that she could see this child? Why did it spark, Andrea didn¡¯t spark, Cameron did, she did, but not Andrea, yet this tiny tiny child did! Amillia raised her eyebrows and thought, this child is half spirit and half human, no wonder its circulation was getting deprived. It needed that extra spiritual essence to continue. And so did her life on this planet, just like Cameron¡They needed some type of spirit essence¡
So that she could keep watch and see to this child¡¯s delivery is made with life instead of death, Amillia had to find out how to get this ¡®spirit¡¯ type essence without having to go back to the spirit world to get it¡But¡Isn¡¯t that just impossible!?
Amillia ate slowly while searching the internet for something at all to help with cancer. She came up with transfers, maybe they could get a lung transfer or something, to gain some time or even live a long life.
But then she thought they¡¯d have to go to hospital to get it done, nevertheless she wrote it down to bring up when all four of them were next together.
Putting a big question mark beside her written word she also thought of the fact that the cancer could spread to multiple organs and that if it was such a great idea, doctors would have done it from stopping her dying the first time. Granted though, it had been a couple of years since then¡Perhaps they had more of a chance to live now than they had beforehand¡
Dammit though, she thought, can there really be so much change in just two years!
It was so utterly useless!
Spirits didn¡¯t have to worry about cancer!
Amillia scribbled out the word and started to feel useless, why couldn¡¯t this happen in a time when a cure for cancer had been found and was easy to get to.
Amillia turned off the computer and resolved that the best and easiest way for them not to die for the second time would be to duck in and out of the spirit world. If they were quick and teleported to and from, it should be fine¡Right¡
Amillia didn¡¯t want the others to think that she had just given up, so she picked up her pen and she decided on writing down ideas of how they could go to and from the spirit world without the problem that they may not be able to come back.
Firstly, it was obvious on how to get there, but where was a safe place and how were they going to teleport directly to there?

Volume 2, Chapter 10
Andrea was just leaving the bathroom, when suddenly hands went around her mouth and a whisper came over her ears, ¡°I will hurt this child of yours if you don¡¯t do what I say. Understand?¡±
Andrea nodded, through fear, and said nothing, then he took her hand and removed his other hand from her mouth.
Walking towards the floor exit, Andrea tried to see who was stealing her away but only saw the back of him, thinking it was male, simply because of the short hair.
His hold on her hand was hard and strong and Andrea was worried that if she were to scream, he would just do something fast and easy, like turn and stab her.
She was silent and followed to the elevator and when she finally looked up to see her kidnapper, she saw Piet.
¡°Piet?¡± She stammered.
¡°Yes, now be quiet, we¡¯ll be out soon.¡± He whispered back, having others inside the elevator.
Ground floor came before she could think about what to do to help herself with this situation and Piet nudged her towards the front of the hospital.
Andrea knew that she would have more hope with getting help here in the hospital, to anywhere outside, so that if she was going to do something, it had to be now!
Andrea turned her head towards her left and then right, she saw some kind of uniformed man. But just as she was about to yell out for help, she was pulled closer to the front, near the doors, and then black light blinded her.
Andrea had run out of time¡She wasn¡¯t in the hospital anymore¡
Looking around, she saw that she was at Roma Street Parklands and was being led towards a car parked not too far away.
¡°Let me go!¡± Was all she could say. Andrea wasn¡¯t sure what line she should try to cross, it being her child that was the one on death row. Should she hit, kick? Should she scream and just sit down like a child on a tantrum?
¡°Honey, it¡¯s alright, now get in the car!¡± He stated.
His words and how they had been said stunned her and confused her, and she stood there dumbfounded. With that he pushed her a bit and forced her in the back of the car, hitting her head in the process.
Andrea put her hand up to her head after he shut the door. Thinking fast, Andrea pulled at the car door and it didn¡¯t open. She scurried to the other side of the car and tried the handle.
Piet was in the car by now and he turned to look at her, ¡°Not ganna work. Now come on, don¡¯t you remember me? At all?¡±
Andrea narrowed her eyes and looked at him confused, ¡°Wider Searchers, the garden¡?¡±
Piet shook his head, ¡°It¡¯s alright darling, you¡¯ll get it all coming back to you soon. Well done by the way. Waiting for you all this time has been worth it, seems to be going all to plan.¡±
The car was going now, and he was driving, Andrea wasn¡¯t watching where, but she did find her voice again, ¡°What are you talking about? Where are you taking me?¡±
Andrea looked at the passenger chair, then at Piet¡¯s head.
Finding nothing to hit his head with, she thought maybe that her bare strength would be enough.
While she was planning on it, she heard his response, ¡°Does the name Setharyan mean anything to you?¡±
Andrea shook her head, closing her eyes. She knew what she had to do, she had to hit him hard enough to give her enough time to get out of the passenger side door¡Which meant that she had to climb into the front of the car.
¡°What about Elitress?¡± Piet asked, watching her. They were at a traffic light now, and Andrea tried hard not to let on about her potential escape. ¡°No, nothing is ringing any bells.¡±
¡°Well¡All in good time. Now, don¡¯t you think that I¡¯ve already thought about that? Have a look, there¡¯s a knife on the dashboard, pretty easy to get to, well for me anyway. You do something and well hey, I¡¯ll leave it up to your imagination.¡± Piet seemed to be enjoying himself¡
Andrea sat back, she looked around, but they were already somewhere she wasn¡¯t sure of. Closing her eyes, she pictured Cameron waiting for her, he was probably wondering why she was taking so long in the bathroom back at the hospital.
If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
Andrea opened her eyes, remembering that she had dropped the full container before Piet had taken her. Cameron would be beside himself knowing the potential danger already on their child¡¯s life. Putting her hands through her hair she started to feel useless and finally stressed to a point where she knew there wasn¡¯t much that she could do.
¡°Don¡¯t stress darling, it¡¯s not good for the baby. We need that thing to be born remember. That or¡¡± He said turning into a dark street and parked on the side of the road.
Andrea felt ashamed, she could have screamed in the hospital, but he had bluffed her! But what did he mean by that anyway? That they needed the child?
¡°Why?¡±
He got out of the car and opened the car door for her. She went to punch him, but he grabbed her hand. Smiling he lent closer to her, ¡°Mmm I¡¯ve missed you.¡±
Andrea spat at him, ¡°You fake, twisted bastard!¡±
His laughter made her angrier, he grabbed her other hand and moved closer again. He licked the side of her face and laughed.
Andrea knew she needed to get tougher, that or she was going to cry, ¡°So that story you told us, it was all fake!?¡±
Piet smirked and stared at her. After a couple of seconds, he shrugged, obviously not caring whether she got it right or not.
¡°Where have you taken me?¡± She asked, lifting her head up slightly.
¡°Place doesn¡¯t matter, you know what matters?¡± He said, closing the car door but still holding her hand. ¡°Time. Time is of the essence darling. Time, time, time.¡± Walking down the road, Andrea looked back at the car left behind. She thought that they would go into the house or something, but it looked like they were going by foot now to wherever he was leading her.
¡°Time? Time for what?¡± Her voice was trembling, Andrea breathed a deep breath in to try and shake it off.
Piet turned, to go down another road, and Andrea was forced to speed up her walk.
Piet looked around quickly and started to run, Andrea pulled on his arm, trying to slow him down, but she was forced to follow. A brick wall was in front of them, and Andrea looked from the wall, to Piet, and started to panic, ¡°Piet?!¡±
She saw him put out his hand and close his eyes. She looked at the brick wall, only metres away now, and also closed her eyes but couldn¡¯t help but let out a small shriek and brace herself for impact!
After a few seconds Piet stopped, and Andrea fell off something. Opening her eyes, she saw Piet above her, looking down at her, but he was still holding her hand though. Andrea looked around, seeing nothing, and she frantically looked back at Piet, and said, ¡°Help me!¡±
Piet didn¡¯t look at all worried, ¡°Help you uh? Ok.¡±
He let her go and she felt like she was falling, except she didn¡¯t move from where Piet was. There was nothing to hold onto or stand upon. It was a place of nothing. Her body looked as though it was lit up by a light, but when she looked around, she saw pitch black everywhere else. It looked like a movie nightmare and it gave Andrea the chills.
His laughter started to make things more certain that she was trapped, that now, there was absolutely nothing that she can do!
¡°I¡¯ll just leave you be for a bit, then maybe we¡¯ll talk.¡± He sent out an air kiss and smiled, ¡°Looking forward to it!¡±
And he disappeared¡
***
Cameron knocked hastily and hard for the second time on Connor¡¯s front door.
¡Silence on the phone, silence now at his house, Cameron was fretting so much that he backed up, ready to barge down the door! He was just about to take the first step when he heard a faint noise from inside, ¡°Connor?¡±
Cameron went up to the door and yelled, ¡°Amillia, open the door!¡±
¡°Urgh, oh man, ok coming.¡±
Cameron started to jump on his feet in frustration as he waited. He sighed and started to pace and finally the door opened slightly, and he rushed in. He saw nothing and turned around to see Amillia on the floor next to the door. She was sweating and looked really pale. Cameron knelt down beside her, thinking that things did not look good for more then just him at the moment¡
What was going on!?
¡°Are you alright Amillia?¡±
Amillia opened her eyes and weakly said, ¡°I¡I was just trying to think about ways to¡When I fell. Extreme agony and oh man, my head hurts!¡±
Cameron helped her up and sat her onto the recliner. ¡°Andrea is missing. She went to go to toilet, and she must have been taken as she got out because she dropped the container.¡±
Amillia interrupted him, wide eyed, ¡°Andrea¡¯s gone?¡±
Cameron looked at her, wondering if the bigger problem was Andrea or Amillia, ¡°Are you ok? You look like you¡¯ve seen a ghost.¡±
Amillia looked past him, ¡°Something has changed, I feel like I¡¯ve lost something.¡±
Cameron stood up and paced, ¡°Tell me about it, I cannot even teleport to her, she does not have a connection at the moment. It is as though she is off the edge of the planet!¡±
Amillia closed her eyes, ¡°Please stop pacing Cameron, when was she taken?¡±
He stopped and nearly yelled at her, ¡°About an hour ago, Amillia¡She¡¯s gone! What do I do?¡±
¡°Oh.¡± Was all she said, making him turn and stare at her like she had lost her mind.
Amillia put her hand to her head and said, ¡°I¡¯d say I was somehow connected to it. Although I haven¡¯t had my eye on the time.¡±
¡°What? What do you mean connected? You knew¡Without knowing, that this was happening?¡± Cameron knelt down to see her eye to eye. ¡°Are you sure? May it have been the cancer talking? Making you unwell?¡±
Amillia sat back, still holding her head in her hand, and said, ¡°Something weird went down Cameron. I felt it.¡±
Cameron stood up and put his hands up in the air, ¡°It still does not get us any closer on bringing Andrea back here Amillia! I¡¯m going to call Connor again.¡±
Amillia asked for a glass of water and while Cameron got one for her he tried Connor¡¯s cell and again got his message bank. Hanging up in frustration, Cameron walked to the loundroom and gave Amillia the water.
¡°I¡¯m afflicted here Amillia, is there any kind of information you can give me that would help me find Andrea right now!?¡±
Amillia moaned and had a sip of water, ¡°I can¡¯t see anything at the moment,¡± Looking up at Cameron, she then yelled at him, ¡°Because my head is thumping!¡±
Cameron sighed, ¡°I am sorry. I just cannot bear the fact that Andrea may be hurt or injured somewhere.¡±
Amillia removed her hand from her head, ¡°What about the police?¡±
¡°They said it was too early to report her missing, but they were going to investigate the tapes from the hospital floor. It just sounded like they weren¡¯t in a rush to do so¡¡± Cameron closed his eyes, picturing Andrea getting taken from the hospital, getting pulled along¡
Did she struggle or scream, he thought, where did they go so quickly that he couldn¡¯t even teleport to her?
What was happening!?
