《The alpha's defiant mate》 Alexis Alexis My mom made pancakes, bacon and eggs this morning for breakfast. I got up just a littlete, took a shower and made my way down the stairs. I could hear my parents discussing something in a very low tone. I couldn''t quite make out their words. I went to the table and sat at the table to the left of my father. He grabbed my hand and gave it a little squeeze. We waited in silence until my mom brought the food to the table. I immediately started loading up my te with pancakes, bacon and eggs. As a werewolf we normally eat more than humans but it didn''t seem to make me get fat. I guess that''s because we use more energy. We were living amongst a few other families that are not a part of a pack. My parents exined explicitly that the reason we all lived away from packs was because by packw if a female that has turned eighteen and gotten her wolf can be made to be given to any male pack members for what ever they choose fit. The only way a female pack member doesn''t have that fate is if she is mated to her mate by her fated mate given to her by the Goddess. I know we are considered rogues but, unlike other rogues, we don''t go looking for trouble. We don''t go into pack territories and try to kill them. We all just live peacefully and away from any packnds. Not All packs live under the old pack rules where they use unmarked women for ves and to produce pups for the men in the pack. None of our people know exactly which packs treat the unmarked females right and which packs treat the unmarked females with respect and honor, the way we should be treated. We have only had a few asions where packs have found out where we are living but it just meant we had to move immediately. We have lived where we are now the longest without being found. My mom and dad told me that we needed to have a long discussionter today and that worried me. Every once in a while I know that we''ve been sending some of the males around to scout and see about other packs and see what their views on the old pack rules were. I''m not quite sure why I had this really bad feeling eating at me but it feels like I''m missing something. I had just turned eighteen about three months ago and I have no idea what they could possibly want to discuss with me. I continued with my morning and went to training with my best friend April. April hasn''t turned eighteen yet but she will next month. As children we always thought about finding our fated mates and what that would mean. When we were pups we didn''t know about the many packs that offered women up as ves and pup incubators. Since we found out we have been hoping and praying to the Moon Goddess for a pack that didn''t treat she-wolves badly. Last night I even had a dream or nightmare of finding my fated mate and then being ripped away by another pack that didn''t respect she-wolves. I woke up sweaty and I couldn''t slow my heartbeat down. As I took my shower I remembered where I was and knew that it was only a dream. If only we knew of a pack where we would be safe then I would finally be able to find my fated mate. April and I were sparring partners during training whichsted about an hour. Once we finished up we went back our own ces. We had a n to get showered and changed before we met back up at my house. We met up so we could go to the closest human town to do some shopping. We went in my old Chevy Silverado so we wouldn''t stick out, just like we have always have done. This is truly the longest we''ve been able to stay in the same ce since we were pups. We''ve grown ustomed to being able to do what we want. This time when we went into town I still had that nagging feeling from what my parents said. I''m worried because I still didn''t know what they wanted to talk to me about. As April and I were shopping at the mall we discussed the fact that my parents had made a point to tell me that we needed to have a discussionter. "Maybe you can sit in on our discussion after we get done shopping and go home," I told her. I really didn''t want to be alone in case I was getting bad news. I''m sure that my parents will want to have our little discussion once we get back because it would be dinner time. "I''ll let my parents know that I''m eating over at your house tonight and I will be home shortly after," April told me. We went through the mall looking for shoes and outfits. I found some of the mostfortable boots that were on sale. They even had a furry ovep at the top of them. April found a nice pair of thick ck leather boots. Once we got done shopping we decided to head home to have dinner. As we headed home April called her parents to let them know she wasing home with me to have dinner. It was normal for her and I to eat at each other''s houses since we''ve been friends since we were young pups. April was tall with long ash blonde hair with a peppy personality. She was always in a good mood and easy to smile at others to make them happy. I was a bit shorter with ck hair that was shorter than her hair. As we pulled up to my house I started getting that nagging feeling again. We unloaded the truck with our purchases and headed into my house. The house smelled wonderful from the dinner that was cooking. April and I ran up to my room and left our bags there instead of in the living room. When we made it downstairs my mom and dad told us that we were expecting guests for dinner and we would have to wait. The Barbeque The Barbeque My mom was in the kitchen getting things prepared for dinner while dad was making his way out to the backyard to get the grill ready for cooking. I sat at the table and asked my mom if there was anything that she would like me to do to help with getting dinner ready. She handed me a bowl full of green beans that needed to be snapped before they could be cooked for dinner. My mom had already made potato sd, biscuits, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and had even started making desserts. She told me that I could make brownies and possibly make up some cookies if I would like to. So I had April help me get the rest of the desserts ready. Just as we were finishing with thest of the cookies there was a knock on the door. April''s parents had just arrived here for dinner. Usually when we had a group of familiese to the house it meant that there would be some kind of meeting in the mix. I never realized this morning that when my parents said they needed to have a discussion with meter that there would be a meeting tonight. Now the growing pit in my stomach was getting a lot worse. Something big has got to be going on with everything that is going on tonight with everyoneing over. I even expressed my concern with April and she agreed with me about something bigger was happening than we thought about earlier today. Rhonda, April''s mom, went straight into the kitchen to see my mom. "Caroline is there anything that I can do to help you get ready for dinner?" asked Rhonda. She was wandering around the kitchen looking to see if anything else needed to be done or if there was something she could do to help her dear friend. "Well I already had Alexis and April help with a few things that pretty much finished what needed to be done on my part for dinner." Caroline responded. They were flittering around in the kitchen talking about everything they had been doingtely. April''s dad came into the kitchen asking where my dad was and what he could do to help dad. My mom responded, "he''s out in the back yard getting things ready to barbeque but, he should be back inside in a few minutes because he forgot to take out his homemade rib rub for the meat." Before April''s dad went to the back yard he went into the kitchen and grabbed the bowl of rib rub my dad already had made up and continued to the back yard to meet up with my dad. My dad asked, "when did you get here Roger and is that the rib rub that I left inside?". "Malcolm I came out to help you with whatever you might need help with.". As our dads were out preparing the barbeque for dinner my mom asked us to get tes, napkins, and silverware out for everyone before the rest of the guests showed up. We had barely gotten everything ready when there started to be knocking on the door. By the time everyone showed up the house was full. A lot of the men went out to the backyard to hang out with dad. Malcolm stood up and continued to ask, "Is everyone ready for this meeting to start since we have finally gotten done eating?" Much to my dismay I was not excused from this meeting like usually am and I''m not to happy about it. "We have had small scouting troops scouting out the different packs around us and to see whatws they have in their different packs. We have found one that does not go by the old ways when ites to packws." "We observed the younger she-wolves being trained as we train our young and they were never pushed to go to the different men''s ces as we''ve seen in other packs. They do not treat the unmarked females as ves or for breeding purposes for pups," Ricard said after we had a slight pause. Roman, Nico, and Leo thought we should send out more men and perhaps a few women to see if they were right about the pack. Even my father agreed with them and thought that it should happen sooner thanter. I don''t think we should try to change things since we''ve been able to live here for a long period of time and live happily here too. My father had obviously made a decision and I knew I wouldn''t like it. I know he had taken his time to think about what to do next and finally decided what to do. "Tonight we will be sending out another scouting party to this pack. This time my wife and myself will be going and a few of the other couples will be joining us," my dad directed. "Dad how could you do that without even telling me, what would I do without you and mom? My whole world feels like it is changing and I can''t do anything about it, I can hardly breathe," I said as I was sobbing so hard that I doubt they can make out all of the wordsing out of my mouth. My dad said that this wasn''t the time to talk about this and I needed to take a break and catch my breath. He continued with the business of the rest of the meeting and they had all agreed to the scouting troops out to find out more about the pack in the morning. The name of the pack was the Mountain of the Moon pack. I really wish we could find a good pack but, with all the things that I had heard about packs it really does scare me that both my parents were going on the scouting trip. As everyone left the house with their instructions on what was going on in the morning and who was going and what time they were all leaving the house quieted down. My parents decided it was time to have that discussion with me now that the barbeque and meeting was over. Now it was just the three of us the perfect time for their discussion they wanted to have with me. Malcolm started on, "Alexis it is time that we try to find a pack for all of us. It is safer being in a pack then being on our own. This is going to be the only way that we can make sure that a bad pack doesn''t get a hold of our she-wolves in ourmunity and to keep you safe." "Dad why can''t someone else go to talk to the alpha instead of you? You and mom are all o have and I don''t know what I will do if I lose the two of you. You two have been here for me my entire life and I can''t think of any other way of living," Alexis said. "Honey all the other families here look up to us to try and find a safe ce for all of us to be able to live out our days in happiness. Our people feel like your dad is like the alpha of this group because he takes care of everyone and also makes sure that he keeps everyone safe." My mom, Caroline, said. I cried out, "Why does it have to be both of you going and not just dad? At least I wouldn''t be alone if something were to happen. I don''t know how to be alone and don''t want to learn to be alone." Alexis cried. "Honey this is something that really needs to be done since this is the first time we have found a possibility of a good pack. We need to do what we can to try and make sure you guys have a great future and a good home. You need somewhere that will treat you she-wolves the way you need and should be treated. I''ve made this decision for you my dear daughter." my dad told me. My mom looked at us and said it was time to go to bed cause we have an early morninging up. The Scouting The Scouting The next morning I woke up to the smell of eggs, bacon, french toast, and blueberry muffins. I took my shower and hurried to get dressed. I ran down the stairs for the wonderful breakfast that I could smell and couldn''t wait to eat. I filled up my te with my breakfast and sat down at the table and started shoveling my breakfast into my mouth. Someone was knocking at the door and just for a little while this morning I totally forgot about the group going out on the Scouting today. My mom made enough food for everyone that was going with them today. A knot ended up being stuck in my stomach the rest of the morning. I couldn''t bare the thought of being alone without my parents by my side. It had already been decided that April and her parents were supposed to stay with me while my parents were gone. As soon as everyone was done eating they started getting into the big ck van they decided to use for the trip. My mom and dad hugged me and kissed me good-bye before they all left. I shifted into my wolf, Shakira, and followed the van for a few miles not wanting to let my parents out of my sight. I turned around and let Shakira take over and have a nice run in the woods around us to let out some of the feelings we were feeling about being alone. From what we could tell it would take a days worth of travel to get to the border of the Mountain of the Moon pack. At least I know my parents will be safe for the next hour. Axel drove while Roman, Nico, Leo, Caroline, and Malcolm sat in the back devising a n. There''s really only one way to go about this and that is to speak directly to the Alpha of the Mountain of the Moon pack. Hopefully, he will be an alpha that will talk and understand where we areing from and why we have taken such desperate measures on going about this. We were almost there and the nerves in the van were getting edgy because none of us new what we were about to walk into. Thest thing that Malcolm and Caroline mentioned was that they needed to make sure they have a safe way of life to raise Alexis and make sure nothing bad would ever happen to her for the rest of her lifetime. The closer they get to the packnds Axel slows the van down so that we can all get prepared just in case this turns into a fight. Once they pulled up to the pack gates they were met there by six warriors that were on guard. The main guard at the gate asked what business we had being at the packnds and who we were here to speak with or see. Axel exined that we were here to see the alpha of the pack to be able to talk to him about some issues that they could only talk to him about. The guards eyes zed over for a minute and we realized he must be talking to his alpha and exining everything to him. After a little bit a very tall fit man and two other guards showed up at the gate. We figured that the big guy must be the Alpha, since alpha''s are known to be bigger in size and their wolf even greater in size. The alpha introduced himself as Alpha Zack of the Mountain of the Moon pack. We exined that we came here in peace and just wanted to talk to him about a few things that they had been worried about. The alpha gave us entrance to go to the pack house and had us followed by four warriors. Once at the pack house we were invited in and were treated like we were regr guests that just dropped in all the time. The Alpha, his Beta, and his Gamma met us at the dining room table so that we could discuss why we hade to their pack. Malcolm spoke up, "we havee here to see if we can seek asylum in your pack because we have families that don''t feel safe with some of the other packs around. A lot of the packs believe that young she-wolves, that are not marked, should be used as ves and given around to the pack males to be used to give them pups. We ourselves have a young daughter and don''t wish this to be her future. We are looking for a good life for the families that live with us. Alpha Zack replied, "we don''t believe in those ways of life any longer. We put a stop to that way of life when I took over this pack about six years ago. Our she-wolves are trained right along with the rest of our people. She-wolves are not made to do anything they don''t want to do. They are never used as ves, and they are never given around to the men in the pack. We treat our women with as much respect as we treat each other. "Is there a possibility that the families that live amongst us could also find asylum within your pack and perhaps be a part of your pack?" Malcolm said with a quick tilt of his head to his mate, Caroline. "Let us all think this over through the night. We will have dinner ready in about an hour and a half and we can do get to know each other a little better that way. I will have someone show you to your rooms and then we''ll let you know when dinner is prepared." said Alpha Zack. Caroline asked gently, "is there anything I can do to help prepare for dinner. I enjoy cooking meals for big families and outings." "I think we have everything covered for tonight but, maybe you can help with the morning preparation for breakfast. I''m very d to have met with you all and can''t wait to get to know you better." responded Alpha Zack. As they were escorting us to our rooms, I noticed that they were putting us all in some nice rooms. When they put Malcolm and I in our room my adrenaline sort of crashed. All I felt like doing wasying down since I wasing down from from all the worry and being scared of the possibility of having to fight to get inside the pack. My energy was just totally drained, and it seemed like my mate was still extremely worried about something. He let me know that he was still worried that there was a possibility that they may just be acting nice to see where the rest of us stand. I told him that we would be able to just stick around for a while to see how things are ran around here before we even thought about taking any of these people anywhere near where we have been camping. I would never give up the rest of the families up and especially not my darling daughter who had just turned eighteen and could either find her fated mate or get treated like she was nothing. I will never let anyone treat her like she was less than she is because we have taught her so much better for her life. After about an hour and a half we had been told by one of the pack members, Gloria, that dinner was ready. Well here we go, we follow Gloria towards the dining room to meet the rest of the pack and see what kind of wolves we were going to be dealing with and what kind of decision we would start to make for our daughter. I really didn''t think we had anything that we had to worry about. We met everyone at the end of the stairs and met everyone that was standing around waiting to meet us. There were men and women, mated and unmated, and we were able to meet the Beta''s mate and the Gamma''s mate. The Gamma repeated the same thing in introducing himself and his mate, "Hello my name is Gamma Lawrence and this here is my wonderful mate She b We are also very d to meet you and hopefully form a good friendship with you." Cassandra seemed to be shy while on the other hand She was very outgoing. "It really is nice to see you guys here and thinking about possibly joining the pack. I can tell already we could be good friends." She said in a very uplifting voice. Getting to know the Mountain of the Moon pack Getting to know the Mountain of the Moon pack The following morning, we were offered to train with their warriors and trainees. We went to training and watched for a while. After watching their moves for a while we decided to join in with their training except for Malcolm. Alpha Zack asked Malcolm to spar with him. Once they started training, everyone else stopped training and just watched the two sparring with each other. Malcolm held his own, even though he was holding back, against the alpha which I did not think was possible. When they got done sparring Alpha Zack and Malcolm walked away in a deep discussion. Alpha Zack asked nonchntly, "Malcolm you have the strength of an alpha. Are you born of alpha blood or are you just that strong?" Malcolm answered honestly, " I was born of alpha blood. My father was the alpha of our pack before our pack was taken out by a big group of rogues. I gathered as many people and families as possible to get them to safety. Not any of the families know the truth about this because we had a lot of new members that had not met me yet. I knew the only thing I could do was to make sure the rest of the pack was safe. Not a lot of us made it out of the packnds before they were totally taken over. We have been hiding out ever since that day and taking care of each other. My own daughter doesn''t even know about me being of alpha blood. We just need a pack to call home and to be a part of their family. I don''t have any interest in trying to take over the pack I just want to live a life in peace." " I understand where you areing from. We have rogue attacks from time to time and we have tightened our security around our borders. I don''t know if your dad had good security around his borders or how he ran his pack but, we do have room to take others in. As long as I know we won''t have any problems between the two of us about who the true alpha is of this pack," Alpha Zack let my dad know explicitly. My dad agreed and they made an arrangement to write up an agreement to that point before anyone else from our group would be allowed on his packnds. Later that night at dinner we would make the announcement to everyone in his pack so arrangements could be made for all the families and the single wolves that were in our group. After training, Gloria came up to me to see if there was anything I may need. "Gloria, my name is Caroline, and my mate is Malcolm. It''s been very nice to meet you and I would love to get to know you better since you are such a nice and caring woman." Caroline said very politely. We all went to the locker rooms to get changed after training and everyone was very nice. I realized there were no problems with any of the women and no problems with any of our guards that hade with us. After changing in the locker room we all met up and continued back up to the pack house where lunch would soon be served. I looked around for Malcolm and could not find him anywhere. I did not know what to think when he was no where to be found. Had he told Alpha Zack about him being of alpha blood and now there would be a problem even though I knew he did not want to have the title of alpha. I pray to the Moon Goddess that whatever he told Alpha Zack did not cause any trouble for the future, because this ce be perfect to bring the other families and our daughter. I know they would be safe and be able to live out a happy life here and train well and be looked after. While waiting for lunch and my mate, I ran into a few of the pack''s warriors and was introduced to Isabe, Cassidy, Ezekiel, Roger, and Gregory. I was very well surprised that some of their warriors were women. They really did mean that they treat women as their equals if they were even able to be warriors in this pack. Axel, Roman, Nico, and Leo came out of their rooms and met me downstairs as we were waiting for lunch. They had just showered and changed after training and were ready for some food. Axel ran into Cassidy and let out a loud growl, "MINE!". And as soon as Cassidy looked up she also growled, "MINE!" Who would have that Axel would find his fated mate here at Mountain of the Moon pack when we came to check it out. They sat together during lunch and continued talking about each other and how crazy it was that they just found each other. Just by the glow on their faces you could see how happy they are. You can live your whole life and never find your fated mate anywhere you go. I was overly happy for Axel that he now knew the true feeling of love and what the Moon Goddess had him waiting for. There is no truer love than that of your fated mate. As I looked up the stairs I saw Alpha Zack being followed by my mate. It looks as if they were having a serious conversation up their, probably in Alpha Zack''s office. It looks as if everything went good and we should be able to live here in peace and solidarity inside the Mountain of the Moon pack. After lunch I went to my room to take a little nap and my mate, Malcolm followed me. He let me know that him and the alpha havee to a conclusion and the entire pack would know at dinner. He let me know that they had signed an agreement stating that Malcolm would never try to take over the pack and had no requests except to be part of the pack and to have the families he''s responsible for can also join the pack. We would finally be pack members and be able to raise our daughter with a family the way she should have been all along. Being a pack member means that the pack is part of your family too. Malcolm called together Axel, Roman, Nico and Leo to have a meeting together. We met in one of the pack meeting rooms so that we could have room to talk and hash out any questions that could possibly be brought to their attention. Malcolm asked everyone, "is there anyone here that has a problem with bing a pack member here at Mountain of the Moon pack. If there are any questions or concerns then this is the time to bring it up." Axel immediately stated, "I found my mate here and is one of their warriors and I want to spend the rest of my life with her." I said, "Malcolm my dear mate, I believe that women here are treated equal and are treated as part of their family. Our daughter will do wonderful here and grow in the long run. I know they have rogue attacks too but, nothing like the way we did in our old pack. They know how to take care of themselves and each other." Becoming Part of the Pack Bing Part of the Pack "Well, I signed an agreement that I would never try to take over his pack as my own. He does know that I have alpha blood and doesn''t hold that against me. This pack has shown nothing but kindness and caring for us and the families and people that we will be bringing here. At dinner tonight we will be making the announcement to the pack that we will be bing part of the Mountain of the Moon pack. As of tonight my lovely mate, Caroline, and I will be getting initiated into the pack," Malcolm made this perfectly clear to all our people that were here. Caroline went to the kitchen to help start dinner for tonight. She was weed with open arms and handed tasks for getting dinner prepared. Once dinner was done being prepared Caroline went up to her room to get changed for dinner. They all met in the dining hall to get ready for dinner. Once everyone showed up Alpha Zack let everyone know that he had an especially important announcement before dinner. Malcolm went forward and stood beside Alpha Zack as they were waiting to make the big announcement. "Today, I have decided to let the people that havee to visit us be part of the pack. We are to make amodations for them and for the rest of the people and families that they are going to bring back with them as well. We will treat them as one of our own pack and if anyone has a problem with that speak up now and we will deal with it right now," Alpha Zack let it be known. There were no bad reactions to the announcement and the only thing that happened were people from the pack were congratting us and asking when we would be initiated into the pack. Alpha Zack asked, "who would like to be initiated into the pack right now before dinner is started?" Malcolm and I stepped forward and then we realized that Axel, Roman, Nico and Leo were standing right behind us. We all excepted the pledge and Alpha Zack excepted us into the Mountain of the Moon pack and made us pack family members. We all loaded up our tes and proceeded to eat dinner. All of a sudden I hear my mate mind-link me that he loved me and that he couldn''t wait till we were able to bring Alexis to the pack and be able to have the extended family we have now. Just as we were done mind-linking we heard a few voices over the mind-link saying there were rogues and that they needed help at the Eastern border. Malcolm and I now naturally ran out the door after Alpha Zack and immediately changed into our wolf form to help the pack fight against the rogues. There was a lot of them, and we were outnumbered five to one. As we got to the forefront of the fight I was taken down by a Big Sandy wolf that broke my leg in between its teeth. My leg had been broken in at least three spots and a huge scratch down my nk. As I spun around, another four wolves surrounded me. The big gray one took a lunge at my throat and I couldn''t get out of the way. I mind-linked Malcolm to tell him I love him and to let Alexis know that I love her and will always be watching over her. I heard Malcolm through mind-link to hold on that he wasing to me but, I couldn''t hold on any longer. Malcolm made it to Caroline''s body and was still fighting off the rogue wolves. We were very close to winning the fight so, I took out a second to check on my mate and could feel the bond break within seconds. I fought the rogues hard and they still got one up on me when five of them cornered me at the same time. I didn''t go down without a fight and I mind-linked all of the other warriors and let them know to bring the rest of our people and families here and make sure that they took care of Alexis as if she were their own. Once the fightingmenced, we found all of the fallen and grouped them together. Axel, roman, nico, and Leo made it through the fight. They knew it was up to them to go home and get the other people and families and bring them here to join the pack. We haven''t decided who was going to tell Alexis what happened to her parents and what they said with their dying words. She is now an orphan and we weren''t sure if she was going to be willing toe to the pack. After all the bodies had been taken care of and buried, we decided to start getting ready to go back home. We showered quickly and got ready to go. Axel made sure he told Cassidy that he loved her and that he would be back shortly. We all climbed into the van and slowly headed home. It was a very quiet drive home because of the bad news that was hanging over our heads. We called April and her parents into the living room before we broke the news. Axel began to talk, " we found a very good pack to join and your dad even signed a pack with them for all of our people and families to be pack members. We were all epted into the pack and became pack members while we were there. Thest night we were there some rogues crossed the borders and we all went to help stop them and keep them from getting further into the pack. During this fight your mom and dad both died and we felt the snap of their life link from the pack. your parents wanted all of us to go to this pack to live out the rest of our days so that we would have a pack family and be treated the right way and we can even possibly find our faded mates there." Alexis began to cry and told us that we were there to protect them and it was our fault that we let her parents die. she went up to her room and none of us knew what to do. April and her parents told us it was okay for us to return to our own houses and they would look after Alexis and make sure she makes it through this hard time. The only time she talk to anyone or even ate was when her best friend April came up to her room with food during meal times. One night she felt too cooped up and decided to go for a run. At least I had three days to prepare to leave and could get some time to myself. My thoughts and my emotions are all over the ce. I have always had my parents to turn to and for the first time in my life I am all alone in the world except for my best friend April and her parents. I know my parents trusted me in their custody but, it still didn''t feel like I had anyone except for myself left. I decided to go to my room and just be alone for a while. I started going through the things that Mom and Dad had given me for special asions and I know that these are definitely things that are going to go with me. I need to find a nice firm box to put these things in so they can''t get ruined. Axel is at home right now fighting with his wolf Asher about going back to the Mountain of the Moon pack because he missed Cassidy and her wolf Aurora. He wanted to get something for Cassidy so he went into town and went to the mall to the jewelry store. He found a tinum bracelet and had her name put on it and on the back he had it inscribed with, to Aurora the love of my life and my faded mate. He went back home after he got done going shopping and started packing but he wasn''t sure what to pack or what to leave behind. He knew that whatever he needed he could always getter on. He was just in a hurry wanting to be back to the Mountain of the Moon pack so he could be with Cassidy. Once they all got back they had already told everybody and the families to get prepared to leave within the next 3 to 4 days so that they could be ready to go to the pack. They were told to take anything that they needed and if they need anything else afterwards they can always get it after they get to the Mountain of the Moon pack. Everyone was told about Alexis''s mom and dad and how they fought bravely and that they were buried now at Mountain of the Moon pack where they could visit them there. Everyone in the group we''re very close with Alexis''s parents. Axle, Roman, Nico, and Leo got together to figure out what vehicles would be used for people to move to the pack and which vehicles would be used for furniture and stuff that was packed up so that none of it got broken during the move. The spirit of the group seemed like it was up like they were happy that they would finally belong to a pack. A pack is like having an extended family that always has your back and we would always have their backs. We knew that giving each family only three or four days to get prepared to move was cutting it short but, we needed to get it done as soon as possible. After the rogue attack at Mountain of the Moon pack we didn''t want anything like that to possibly happen to us since we''ve been safe since we''ve been here. Axle, Roman, Nico, and Leo have already decided that they would be by Alexis''s side no matter what she needed from us or how long it took for her to be able to get over what happened. Alexis was part of our family and always has been and so were her parents. Her parents were loved by all and they always took care of the people and the families in our group. As it was getting closer to leaving our little home Alexis was getting used to the fact that she would be moving to the pack. It was really hard on her and she knew that she would always miss her parents but, at least a part of them were going to be there cuz they were buried there at the Mountain of the Moon pack. Alexis is nning to visit their graves as soon as she got to the Mountain of the Moon pack so that she could at least say goodbye and tell him that she loved him onest time. As everybody got their stuff packed the trucks were getting loaded with all the boxes and furniture that were being moved to the pack. The box that Alexis had specifically gotten for the treasures that her parents had gotten her, she carried with her so that nothing would be damaged. The n for moving is in a day and a half. We will make sure everything is packed and ready to go for all of people and the families so that nothing gets left behind. After the barbecue Alexis got axle to sit down and have a discussion with her. The only people that stayed behind with me was April, her mom, Emile, and her dad Raphael. I decided to take a little longer at home before taking off and moving. I really miss my parents and remember all the good times. My mom and I used to always garden together. I went out in the backyard and started gardening like my mom and I always used to do. We always have herbs nted, fruits, vegetables, and flowers out front. I''m really going to miss spending this extra special time with my mom. When we were gardening is when my mom and I used to have our long conversations about things that happened every day and about the future. She even taught me what would happen when I found my faded mate when we were gardening. I have always looked forward to finding my faded mate. the way mom made it sound; nothing could everpare to the love between two people who are faded mates. I still remember the way my mom and dad used to look into each other''s eyes and the way they would steal time together away from everyone else. I spent as much time as possible as I could at home. First, Shakira came out in her full beautiful white Glory and I stood there waiting for April''s wolf, Willow. Willow is a beautiful Sandy brown color and stands a little smaller than me. April''s mom''s wolf, Giselle was a glorious golden blonde color just like her hair in human form. April''s dad''s wolf, Atticus, was a great gray wolf and stood taller than the rest of us. We started off to the North direction towards the woods. It felt so wondrous being able to run in form and feel the breeze through my hair. I''ve always loved the feeling of the wind blowing through my hair when I run as fast as I could through the woods. Once we were done with our run, we all went into the house and decided to have a wonderful evening together watching movies and finish getting ready to move to the Mountain of the Moon pack together tomorrow. I think if I have April and her family, I will be able to fight the world. They have be my family over the years since I have grown up with them in my life. Once we got back to the house I went to my room and decided to take a shower and get ready for movie night. After showering I got dressed in my pajamas and went downstairs to the kitchen. I made up two big bowls of popcorn and one of them I even made with caramel in it. The n is for us to have a rxing evening and then we will get ready tomorrow to leave for the pack. We have decided to leave after lunch tomorrow to move to the Mountain of the Moon pack. We decided on watching a movie named "Twilight." A movie about werewolves and vampires and how they interact with each other but, the truth is that it is fantasy and does not really work the way it does in the movie. April and I have always loved watching movies like these because they gave us things to dream about and hope for. tonight, the movie seem tost longer than usual because I was tired after the full day I had had. Once a movie was finished, I decided to turn in so I can wake up early and get things ready for our move tomorrow. I n to take some of the nts and herbs that my mom and I had grown with us so I could nt them when I got to the mountain of the Moon pack. Once I woke up the next morning I showered and got dressed for the day. I went to the backyard and started getting nts ready to go with me. Once I got the nts and herbs ready to go, I took the boxes to the van that we were nning to take to the pack with us. All of us made sure our stuff was packed and ready to be put in the van so we could get on the road. We wanted to make sure we got there before dark and that''s why we were leaving after lunch. We all piled into the van and got situated for the trip. Once we made it to the Mountain of the Moon pack, I requested to speak with Axel, Roman, Nico, and Leo. Once I showed up at the gates we were invited in and taken to our separate houses. April and her parents moved into a house together and I was shown to a nice little house in the back of most of the other houses. I had requested beforehand to live alone in a house out of the way. I chose to stay in my house for dinner instead of going to the pack house for dinner. I will go out to the pack house tomorrow and meet everyone. I went to my room and got dressed in workout clothes so that I could join training today. It will be nice to get to know the people that I am going to be a part of a pack with. Once I changed my clothes I met up with Axel and Cassie in my living room. We left and headed towards a training grounds for a good workout. The first few people I ran into were Roman, Nico, and Leo. I knew I would enjoy today''s training when these are the guys that I would be training with. Suddenly, I had this wonderful smelle to me from somewhere near the training grounds. The longer I was there training that wonderful smell just kept getting stronger. I knew that Alpha Zack was supposed to show up for training and at some point but, I had not met him yet. Before we went to training Alex had exined that April and I and her family would be added to the pack after lunch. I will meet the alpha then. The smell got stronger and in the middle of training I looked up and saw this gorgeous man. He was taller than everyone else. He stood about 6 ft 5 with dark hair and deep brown eyes with gold specks in them. He was the most gorgeous man I had ever seen with my own two eyes. I leaned over to April and pointed him out and told her that I thought he was the most gorgeous man I had ever seen. As Alpha Zack came to the training grounds, he gets the lovely smell of Japanese cherry blossoms and a slight hint of vani. It was the most arousing aroma he had ever smelled. He knew there were new people on the packnds, but he had not met this youngdy yet and could not wait to get to know her. He will be meeting all the new recruits after lunch, and he will be able to find her when they do the ceremonyter today. This was going to be a long training session knowing that my mate is near, and I do not know who she is and will not know until after lunch. After training I decided to go back to my house for a while. Until lunch time Alexis decided to shower and get ready for the rest of the day. She went out into the yard and started nting the herbs, nts, and flowers she had brought with her from home. This would make it easier to be there with a part of her mom with her since she missed her so much. Both Alpha Zack and Alexis were looking forward to lunch time because they both knew they were going to meet their faded mates. They still did not know that they were each other''s mates, but lunch would being soon enough. Lunch would be held at the pack house so that the pack ceremony could be announced there. All the pack members would be in attendance, and everyone would know once Alpha Zack and Alexis get together and realize that they are fated mates.
