《The Alpha's Young Mate》 Chapter 1 Chapter 1 Rosalind''s POV "Rose get back here!" My mommy yells at me as I run towards the woods. I stop at the edge and watch big wolves from the pack my family is in. "Mommy, I wanna be a wolfie!" I say as I howl like wolves do. One of the wolves looks at me and howls, ying with me. I giggle and my mom picks me up holding me in her arms, "You''ll be a wolfie when you''re older." She says smiling and walking away from the woods towards the pack house. "But I wanna be one now!" I whine. "Rose baby, you must be patient. You''ll be one soon enough." My mom says kissing my cheek. She carries me into the house and to our room. "Time for a bath." My mom says as she sets me down and goes into the bathroom. I hate baths! When I hear running water in the tub I run and hide under mommy''s and daddy''s bed. I listen to my mom''s feet as she walks out of bathroom. I soon see them as she walks into the bedroom. "Hun, you need to take a bath." "No." "You need to be clean for when daddy and the Alphae home." "I want to be dirty!" My mom bends down and peeks under the bed. "I want you to be clean pup." She says grabbing me and carrying me to the bathroom. She helps me get undressed and I climb into the tub of warm water as it is still filling up. A knock on the door makes my mom walk out of the bathroom and I sigh. I can''t hide now, she''s already got me in here. I pout to myself and suddenly I see the bubble bath soap. I get out of the tub and quickly grab it, I then dump the whole bottle in the water so I can have a bubble kingdom. I get back in and start ying with the candy smelling bubbles. After awhile I hear my mommy yelling, "Oh my god! Rose!" Iugh as I can''t see her because I''m covered in bubbles. My mom turns the water off and I soon feel her hands grab me and lift me out. Sheughs as she sets me down out of the tub and wraps a towel around me. "Guess what." She says smiling. "What?" I ask. "Daddy''s home!" She says smiling. Daddy''s home! Yay! I then see Daddy and quickly run to him, jumping in his arms. Daddy chuckles as I wrap my arms around his neck and burry my head in it, "I missed yuh!" "I missed you too darling." He says kissing the top of my head. I unburry my face and look to see another grown man standing right next to my daddy. He looks at me and I smile at him and when he smiles back at me I feel my cheeks heat up so I hide my face back in my daddy''s neck. Chapter 2 Chapter 2 yton''s POV After five years of Alpha Training, and partying, I can finally go home and take on the Alpha role of my pack. It''s hard to imagine that I now am in control of my father''s pack. I hope I make him proud ¡ª and my mom. My father used to tell me that I was too immature to be an alpha, but I''ve grown up, a little at least. As I stand and wait for my Beta to pick me up I hear someone yell out to me. I turn around to see best friend ke, just like me he is going to go home and going to take on the Alpha role to his pack. "Finally going home." I say smiling. "Yea. Can you believe it! We''re Alphas now!" ke says patting my shoulder. "You''re going to have toe visit my pack sometimes." He adds. "And you have to visit mine." ke then sighs as he looks around at our surroundings. "You know, I''m going to miss this ce." I nod in agreement before I see my beta, named Damon,e to view as he pulls up and parks in front of me in a ck Cadic. I chuckle to myself slight; It''s weird to think he was my father''s beta, but now instead he is mine. "Well this is it." I say to ke as we do our handshake we made. "Later." He then says before walking away. I watch as beta Damon gets out and starts loading my bags into the car. I turn around to look at the ce were all my firsts happened, including my first time having sex, my first kiss, my first party, my first fight, my first rtionship (which onlysted a week), just everything started here for me at age 14. I didn''t realize Damon was done loading my stuff in the car until he cleared his throat. I turned and looked at him as he bowed his head slightly, showing he submits. "Alpha yton, I am your beta." "Yea, I know. You were my father''s beta too." He frowns when I mention my father before I walk over to the car and get in the passenger seat. "Well Alpha yton, ready to take on the responsiblities of caring and leading a pack?" Beta Damon asks as he climbs in the driver''s seat and turns the car on. "I was born ready." I answer maybe a little too confidently. When we pull into a drive way I see my pack house. Nothing''s changed, still the same giant white colored house, still the same dark woods, still the same wolves, just a new Alpha. Damon eventually parks the car and we both get out. My first instinct was to inhale the air that I used to breathe everyday as a pup, but instead of the smell of wolves and fresh air I smell something sweet, like candy and roses. My wolf gets excited and chants ''Mate'' over and over again. I can''t believe it, I''m going to meet my mate. I hope she is as beautiful as I have imagined her to be ¡ª long brown hair, bright blue eyes, full lips, around 5''7, and a nice fit body. I try to act calm as Damon and I make our way to the front door, with all the pack members surrounding around us. We stop when a little girl, wrapped in only a towel and has a patch of bubbles on her head, pushes her way through the crowd and runs up to us before jumping in Damon''s arms. Her voice was soft when she spoke to Damon as I looked around for the smell of roses and candy because it was stronger now, which meant my mate was close. I looked around at all the females surrounding me, but none seemed to be my mate. Then it hit me like a fucking truck. I''m mated to a little girl? I looked over at the small child as she looked over Damon''s shoulder and her blue eyes made eye contact with my brown ones, and in that moment, I swear nothing mattered. Young or not, she is still my mate that the moon goddess picked for me. Most probably would''ve rejected the young child but for some reason I just seemed to not be able to ¡ª just the thought of rejecting the innocent girl mad my body hurt. I saw my life with that young girl sh before my eyes as my wolf called out ''Mine.'' She smiled and I don''t think she expected me to smile back because she blushed and hid her lovely little face from my view. As Damon holds her I feel jealousy fill every inch in my body, I want to hold her close in my arms and to feel her little head rest on my shoulder like he is. I know I shouldn''t be jealous of him because he is most likely her father, but I can''t help it ¡ª I just found my mate and my wolf is excited. "Rosalind!" A woman then yells out. The woman thenes into view from behind people and walks over to Damon. She grabs my mate and I take a step towards the woman, I swear if she harms my little mate I''ll rip that woman''s throat out. "You couldn''t have waited until you were at least dressed to see daddy?" The woman asks my mate. My mate giggles, "Sowwy mommy." So the woman is her mom. It keeps reying in my head as I answer, "She wasn''t a bother at all." "Mommy, can you put me down?" Rose asks. Her mom sets her on the ground and Rose walks over to me, "Hi Mister Alpha.." She is tinypared to me so I bend down to her height, now I am face to face with her. "Hello Rose." I smile. She then giggles and runs back to her mom, hiding behind her mom''s legs. I stand back up as Damon starts talking to me, "Alright Alpha yton, let''s go inside to your office so we can get your paper work signed." I look at him and nod before looking back at Rose. She is staring at me and really I don''t mind it. I smile at her again, causing her to turn around and run into the house with her mom chasing after her. My little Rose must be a free sprited trouble-maker for her mom. I chuckle slightly and shake my head. A young mate ¡ª an extremely young mate. Out of everything that ever happened to me, I never saw thising. After the paper work is finished I went outside to walk over where I used to y as a pup. All of us boys used to wrestle around while the girlsughed at us. When I''m almost there I smell roses and candy before I see Rose sitting there staring into the woods, dressed in a pink id shirt and jeans (instead of a towel) and her light brown hair dry without bubbles on top. I walk over to her and sit down next to her, she acts as if I''m not there and continues to watch the trees blowing in the wind and the wolves running around. I watch her. I watch every little breath she takes in and let''s out as the light wind blows her hair around her face. After a few minutes she speaks, "I''m going to be a alpha like you one day." She says turning her head and looking at me. I raise my eyebrows, "Oh you are, huh?" "Yea," she pauses, "I will be a stwong alpha that let''s pups hang out wiff the big wolfies in the woods." "Sounds like you''ll be the best alpha." She smiles as I say that. "Mommy says I won''t ever get to be an alpha, but wait until I tell her that the Alpha said I will be! And that I will be the bestest!" She yawns after she says that andys her head down on myp as a pillow. I hold my breath for a second as I think of the mess I am in. "Being an alpha will have to wait, wight now I''m tired." That was thest thing she said as she fell asleep, using myp as her pillow. I just sat there and let her sleep on myp as I y with the tips of her hair. I chuckle slightly as I think of her as sleeping beauty. When I know she is sound asleep I gently pick her up, so her head is resting on my shoulder, and carry her into the pack house to her mom and dad''s room. When I reach their room door I knock quietly and her mom opens it. "Oh thank you, Alpha yton." She says bowing her head in submission. She then reaches her hands out to take Rose from me, but instead I push past her and walk into their room still holding Rose in my arms. Her mom looked surprised but she shook it off and pointed me to Rose''s bed. I walked over to it with tiny Rose in my arms before setting her down in it and tucking her in. I then bent down and gave Rose a little kiss on the forehead before turning and leaving without saying a word to her mother or father. Chapter 3 Chapter 3 Rosalind''s POV This morning I decided to make mommy and daddy some breakfast. Nobody else is awake yet, so they can''t stop me. I grab a couple of bowls and set them on the floor of the pack house kitchen so I can reach them, I then get my favorite cereal ¡ª Fruity Pebbles. I fill the bowls and walk over to the big silver fridge and open it, taking the milk out. The milk jug is kind of heavy so I have a hard time pouring it in only the bowls as it spilled all over the floor. I then run over to a drawer and get two spoons so mommy and daddy can eat the cereal I made them. Maybe I should make them a bigger breakfast. I look around to think of something to make. PANCAKES! I try to remember where mommyst put the pancake maker stuff. When I did, I then grabbed a bowl to mix the batter in, before I pushed a chair over to the counter and climbed on top so I can reach the cupboard where the box of pancake mix is in. Once I got it I poured it all in the bowl before I add a little bit of milk in it along with some white powder called flour and a couple of eggs. I stir it before I turn the oven on and put the bowl in the oven. I then sit and wait. After a couple minutes I hear someonee down the stairs and into the kitchen. Alpha thenes to view and I watched as Alpha walked slowly in yawning. I giggled at how messy his hair was. He rubbed his face before looking at me and smiling. I smiled at him but then he stopped smiling when he smelt the air. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDra/ma.O(r)g! "What are you doing?" Alpha then asks as he hurries and turns the oven off. "Hey! I was makin pancakes!" He opens the oven and takes the bowl out. He looks a at me andughs,"That''s not how you make pancakes." "Well wit''s how I make pancakes!" I argue back crossing my arms over my tiny chest. He turns around and takes a step only to walk into my one of my bowls of cereal. He looks down at the milk and cereal that''s spilled everywhere, including on this foot. "Your messin my breakfast up!" I yell as I try to jump down from the counter, but right as I was in the air, alpha quickly turned around and grabbed me, before setting me on the ground softly. "I''m sorry." He says as he grabs towels and starts cleaning up the mess of spilled milk and fruity pebbles. "I want to make mommy and daddy a yummy breakfast, but I guess I''m too wittle." I pout. Alpha turns around and looks at me with his brown eyes that remind me of chocte, "How about I help you make breakfast for your mommy and daddy?" I think for a minute before saying okay. "But we have to huwwy and do it before they wake up!" I add as I grab another bowl to mix pancakes in. He smiles at me and grabs another pancake box out of the cupboard, and since he''s way taller than me he doesn''t need to use a tall chair. I can''t wait till I''m all grown up like that. "I want to flip one!" I cheer as Alpha flips a pancake. He looks over at me and smiles, "Come here then." I walk over to him and he lifts me up, holding me in one hand and holding the frying pan with the other. "Okay, grab onto the handle." He says and I do as told. He puts his hand that was holding the frying pan ontop of my little ones. "On the count of three. One, two, three." He counts and helps me shake the pan to make the pancake flip over. I smile, "Can I do wit myself?" I ask. He smiles and takes his hand, that was holding mine, away. "Okay, won, two, free." I count and do what the alpha did, only the pancake flew up and fell to the floor. "I can''t do wit.." I pout as alpha sets me on the counter top to sit. He picks up the pancake and tosses it in the garbage. "You just need practice." He tells me with a big smile on his face. For a few seconds he just stares at me but then he starts talking again, "Come on, let''s try another." "Okay!" I smile as he grabs me and holds me like he did earlier. We finished making all the pancakes and he set out a bunch of tes and forks for everyone. "We made a wot! More than mommy and daddy can eat!" I say staring at the te stacked with pancakes. Alpha grabs one pancake and takes a bite, "Well then, I guess we can eat some!" He says. By the time I''m done with half of a pancake Alpha had already ate more than 20. "You eat a lot!" I tell him and heughs. "I do!" He says as mommy walks in the kitchen and sighs. "Rosalind! What are you doing in the kitchen!" I was going to answer her but alpha does for me, "She made you and Damon breakfast." My mom raises an eyebrow before she walks over to the te stacked with pancakes and smiles, "Smells good." Soon daddy joined us and we all ate pancakes. After we ate my mom carried me back to her and daddy''s room and my mom dressed me in a yellow sun dress. "Alright Rose, you can go y now but stay out of trouble." My mom says kissing my cheek and handing me my teddy bear I named Love before I run out of the room. I ran around the house spinning and swinging Love, but I stop running when I realized I''m in a part of the house my mommy never let me go before. Mommy isn''t with me, soooo why don''t I explore. I smile to myself and start walking down a hall to a set of big wooden doors, when I reach the doors I got on the floor and peeked under. The door suddenly swings open, so I can see big feet and a deep voice speaks. "Rose, what are you doing?" I look up to see my dad standing in front of me. "Esploring.." I answer as he picks me up off the ground and Love slipped out of my hand. "Darling, you shouldn''t be exploring in the Meeting Hall." He chuckles and kisses my head before putting me back down. "Now go on. Go find one of your friends to y with." I nodded before I turned to run off to find Alexa my bestest friend. Chapter 4 Chapter 4 yton''s POV After breakfast Damon and I had a meeting about a rogue attack on a pack just to the north of us. It was only a couple of rogues that attacked that pack and the rogues were killed by the pack, but they most likely were put up to attacking. Since it was only two rogues against a whole pack they knew they would be killed, so they had to be working for someone. I soon got distracted as I smelt the wonderful scent of my little Rose right before Damon opened my office door to leave. I stay in my office and just listen to Damon talking to Rose, her voice brings mefort when my mind is hectic with thoughts of rogue attacks and if my pack is going to be targeted on my first whole day being the alpha. After awhile I hear her run off and my wolf gets sad that she isn''t near. I still smell the sweet scent of candy and roses though. I then lean back in my chair as I go over everything in my head; I don''t know how I am supposed to tell Damon that his daughter is my mate, I don''t know how I am supposed to tell anyone that I, an alpha, is mated to a girl no older than 6. Damn, I don''t even know how old she is yet. After an hour of nning to protect my pack and sending border guards out I noticed I could still smell Rose''s scent, which is weird. I stood up from sitting behind my desk and walked over to myrge office doors being opening one. There on the floorys a small brown teddy bear. I bend down and pick it up knowing it belongs to Rose. Without thinking I start to head down the hall with the bear in my hand, following Rose''s scent to find her and give her the bear. I follow her trail to the pack y room where most pups are during the day. I scanned the room but I don''t see her anywhere in sight. I then catch her scent again, near a door, but it''s mixed with another young pup''s. I go out the door and look around, she isn''t anywhere in sight. My wolf starts to get anxious and worried. I continue to follow the scent of Rose and the other young pup until the trail leads me to the Northern Woods. I sigh; pups know they are not allowed in the woods especially without an adult. The reason we have that rule is because of rogues. Rogues are the most dangerous thing to packs, or any werewolf in general. To go up against a rogue by yourself, especially when you aren''t an alpha, is stupid because you will most likely lose. I run my fingers through my hair as Damon''s voice rings in my head, ''Alpha, three of the pack guards you sent out to make sure no roguese in our territory were just attacked by rogues.'' Just as if it was on cue. I mind message him back, ''Are they alright? Which border were they guarding?'' ''Two were killed, the other injured badly. The one that survived says they were guarding the Northern Border.'' Well if shit couldn''t get any worse. I don''t know why but I immediately punched a tree near me as I answered back, ''Your daughter and another young pup are somewhere in the Northern Woods, by now those rogues have crossed the border and are most likely deep in the woods.'' I start to shake with anger as I stare into the woods straight ahead of me. ''Five pack fighters areing with me now, we''ll meet you at the Northern Woods edge for a n.'' Being how I am, I shift into my grey wolf and I run in the woods to search for Rose by myself. I''m not waiting for anyone''s help, my mate could be hurt! I mind message Damon as I run through the woods after Rose. ''No n. Just get your asses into these woods!'' ''Alpha, that''s not a good idea to go up against rogues without a n. That is suicid-'' I growl madly and cut him off, ''I''m the Alpha! Do as I tell you!'' I cut the mind-link so he can''t continue talking to me so I can focus on following little Rose''s trail; she went far into the woods. Great. My wolf starts to worry more and soon my ears hear everything, from a little butterfly''s wings pping to the thudding of my paws against the ground. My vision turns everything red when Rose''s scent is cut- out by the smell of rogues. I''ve never been so mad, I''ve never wanted to rip a rogue''s head off so bad in my entire life, oh god, I swear if they so much as touch Rose I will make them suffer throughout their entire life day by day. I stop running when I hear a little girl scream, I then run in the direction it came from. In a couple minutes I reach where Rose''s and the rogue''s scents are the strongest. I look from behind a bush to see at least nine rogue wolves, and one of them were circling around Rose and the other little girl. With rage filled in my body I jump out and run towards Rose, but a couple of rogues try to take me on before I can reach her. One jumps at me and I quickly grab on to his throat, sinking my teeth in until I taste blood. The other rogue growls and jumps at me while I drop his dead friend. I get him pinned down and bite his neck like I did to the other. When he''s dead I let go and get off of him. After she got a few feet away from where she was, the wolf that was circling her and her friend, jumped at Rose and bit her arm. Rose screamed and that pissed me off. I let out a growl so big and deep that it felt as if the ground was shaking. The rogue that bit her turned back to me with wide yellow eyes, as if he was scared of me. I stood even taller to show the wolves that I am superior and they all backed up slightly, before three of them decided to jump on top of me. My red vision stayed on Rose the entire time I fought them, and I don''t know how I did it but I killed all three of them. The rest of the rogues growl and start to move in close on me, but I run and jumped right over their heads,nding right in front of Rose so she is behind me. Rose''s friend then ran over and hid behind myrge grey wolf as I give the rogues a threatening look. I can hear Rose''s un-easy breathing and her fast beating heart as she is scared to death. I look over my shoulder at her to see her holding her little bleeding arm and her eyes locked on the wolf that bit her. I growled and moved away from in front of the girls before I grabbed hold of the wolf that bit Rose. The other three wolves growled at me when I got ahold of him on the neck with my sharp teeth. I sunk my teeth deep enough to cause him pain, but not enough to kill him. Him ¡ª him I want to torture. He whimpers and I then feel a wolf bite me on the neck. I turn over on my back and kick the rogue that has hold of me, causing him to release. When the wolf that bit me is off I pin him down and rip his head right off. Rose and her friend scream when his head flies off. I turn and jump back in front of the girls when I hear more wolves running in our direction. Soon Damon and five of my pack fighterse out of the woods and surround the rogues. ''Don''t kill the injured one.'' I mind link to my pack members that have the rogues surrounded. I then turn around to face Rose and the other little girl as the rogues each get killed. They stare at me with wide eyes and pale faces as they both tremble with fear. I then walk past them and behind arge tree before shifting to human form and sliding pants on that my pack sets out around in case clothes is needed. When I walk out from behind the tree, Rose jumps into my arms. She hides her face in my neck as she starts crying her big blue eyes out. "H-he b-bit me." She chokes out, pulling her face from my neck so she can look at me. I soften my voice to calm her as I speak, "Nobody is ever going to hurt you again. You''ll be okay." I pause and wipe the tears from her cheeks with my thumb. "I''ll always protect you." I then add. Damon then shifts, behind a tree like I did so he can put clothes on, before he walks over to us. Rose hurries out of my arms and hugs him. He picks her up and kisses her arm that the wolf bit while I walk over to the other little girl. Tears stream down her face as she looks at me with her brown eyes. "You alright?" I ask the young pup. She nods her head yes as even more tears start to pour out of her eyes. I hug the girl and when we pull away I wipe her tears like I did for Rose. This little girl isn''t my mate, but she is part of my pack. I am the alpha, I have to look after my pack ¡ª they are my family. "What''s your name?" I ask her, She sniffles her nose and says "Alexa." "Well Alexa, you''re safe now." I smile at her before I pick her up and set her on the back of one of my pack fighters to bring her home. I look over at the other pack fighters while they get rid of the bodies of the deceased rogues and bring the injured one, that bit Rose, to the pack house to be questioned and tortured. I turn back around to see Rose walking over to me as her dad shifts back into wolf form. "Alpha, can I ride home on your back? Daddy said I have to ask you if it''s okay." "Of course you can." I say before shifting into my huge grey wolf. I bend down so she can climb on before we start heading home. My wolf is happy now that she is safe and with us. I now know what it''s like to have a mate; you would do anything to keep them safe, even if it means getting yourself killed. Chapter 5 Chapter 5 Rosalind''s POV "Mommy I can''t find Love!" I whine as I search everywhere in mom and dad''s room. "Where did youst have Love darling?" She asks me. I think for a moment before I remember, "Mommy I weft her in a hall!" "Well it''s almost bedtime, so you''ll have to get Love tomorrow." She tells me while she gets ready to shower. I nod okay and crawl into my bed, waiting for mommy to get in the shower. I go down the hall to the big wooden doors that I was at earlier, but when I get there I see Love isn''t on the floor like I thought she would be. Suddenly the doors swing open causing me to jump. "It''ste Rose, you should be sleeping." Alpha says smiling at me. I pout and don''t answer him. "What''s wrong?" He asks bending down so he''s my height. "I can''t find Love." For a moment he just looks at me with his chocte eyes. He then clears his throat and asks, "You can''t find love?" "Yea, Love was wight here." I answer. He just stares at me before he asks, "Is Love a bear?" "Yea, have you seen her?" I ask smiling and he nods his head yes. "Where is she?" I ask getting excited. "I''ll bring...um, Love to youter okay? Right now I think you should go get back to your dad''s room." "Okay." I say before giving him a hug around the legs. When I let go I turn and run back to mommy and daddy''s room. As my mom tells me how bad I was for sneaking out of the room I hear a knock on the door and my daddy opens it while I watch from around a corner. "Alpha yton." My dad says as he bows his head in submission. Yay Alpha is here! I hope he has Love! "Hey. Is Rose still awake?" He asks my daddy. "Yea, why?" "I found Love." Alpha answers. My dad stares at him for a minute, "Your ma-" Alpha cuts daddy off and holds up Love and says, "Her bear." "Oh, right." Daddy says before motioning for Alpha to follow him. They walk towards my room so I quickly run and sit on my bed with a book ¡ª pretending to read since I can''t actually read. "Rosalind." My dad says walking in with Alpha. Daddy and alpha both stop dead in their tracts and chuckle, "Reading the book upside down?" Daddy asks me while I feel my cheeks heat up. Alpha walks over to my bed and sits on the end of it, "Found Love." He says as he hands me Love and I smile. "Yay Love!" I say hugging my bear as daddy walks out of my room. Alphaughs slightly but stops when I kiss his cheek. He looks shocked before he looks down at me and then smiles, "What was that for?" "You saved me and you found Love, I was thanking you like a princess does." I say smiling wide. "Making me sound like a prince." He chuckles. "And I''m a princess!" I say before I crawl out of my bed put on my toy crown. "A beautiful princess." Alpha says as I walk over to him and put the crown on his head. I giggle because he looks like a prince now. Heughs and takes it off setting it down. "Rose, bedtime." My mommy then says as she walks past my room. "Could the prince save me from bedtime?" I whisper to Alpha while giggling, he whispers back, "Not this time princess." He tucks me into my bed as I cuddle Love and then he kisses my forehead before turning the light off and walking out. I like that Alpha guy, I wonder if he likes me. Chapter 6 Chapter 6 Rosalind''s POV *Two yearster* I pet Alpha''s grey wolf as we sit in the woods. I head to the back of the store, where the cashier can''t see, and the two guys follow. I hide behind one of the shelves stacked with candy and wait for them toe around the corner. When one is close enough to me I jump out and punch him in the face. He stumbles backwards as the other guy runs over to us and pushes me into the shelf I was hiding behind, causing some stuff to fall down. I get up quickly and tackle him into a different shelf that had a bunch of bags of chips and other snacks. The blonde one pulls me off his friend and punches me in the nose and face a couple of times. I block his next punch he throws at me and I punch him back, over and over until he isying on the hard floor. I then get tackled by the guy I had tackled down and he puts his hands around my neck as he starts to choke me. I then feel someone grab me from behind and I hurry and back up into a wall, which made the blonde guy let go of me. I grab the bag and head into one of the doors to see a bunch of sinks and doors along with toilets. Ie back out and hand Alpha the bag with my jeans and butterfly shirt in it before my stomach growls. "You hungry again?" He asks, I nod my head no but my stomach growls again. "I think you are." He chuckles and I cross my arms over my chest. "Well I''m not." "And so she speaks finally!" He smiles at me. I cover my mouth with my hand and re at him. He chuckles and starts walking over to a line of people. He turns back to me, "What do you want to eat?" I don''t answer. "Do you want a corn dog? Icecream? A muffin? Chicken nuggets?" I look around for a moment as he stares at me, I finally answer. "Icecream." Alpha thinks on it for a moment before he says, "Let''s get chicken nuggets and some icecream as dessert." After waiting awhile Alpha hands me a strawberry icecream cone while he eats a chocte one. We walk over to a bench and sit down until our icecream is gone and then we walk over to a little arcade room. I run over to a game to y but a boy a little older than me pushes me out of the way and I fall down. "Hey!" I yell at him, he turns around andughs,but stops when Alpha walks over and asks, "What''s so funny?" Alpha looks at the boy and the boy runs away. Alpha then picks me up and looks behind me, "Want to y a game with me?" He asks walking over to a table game made for two palyers. I sigh and decide too. After every round I won! Alpha keeps getting annoyed because he keeps losing. "I won again!" I smile. "I let you win." Alpha says frowning. "Nope, I won fair and square!" I say sticking my tongue out at him, he puts his hands up in defeat and we head back to the car as it''s getting dark out. When we get in the car and alpha starts driving I start thinking about how much fun I had with him. Maybe alpha isn''t so bad after all, maybe I shouldn''t be mad at him. While he drives I finally tell him, "Alpha, I''m not wad at you anymore, I forgwive you." He smiles and looks back at me, "I''m sorry I made you mad, princess." After he said that I yawned and started to fall asleep as he drives down the road in the dark night. Chapter 11 Chapter 11 yton''s POV When we are finally back at ke''s pack I parked the car and got out before opening the back seat door. I look at Rose to see she is still sound asleep. I smile, she''s not mad at me anymore ¡ª just the thought of her not being mad at me anymore makes my wolf jump with glee. Damon opened the door as soon as he smelt us and I walk in their room, setting Rose down in a bed. She looks so peaceful and safe when she is asleep; it puts me at ease. I tuck her in and just sit there staring at her until Damon clears his throat. I kiss Rose''s head and turn to Damon. "Alpha yton, I feel bad about the fight. I don''t like the thought of her mate being 15 years older than her, but today I seen that you would do anything for Rosalind." I pat his shoulder and he nods slightly. I take onest look at my lovely mate as she sleeps before walking out and across to my room. Once Iy down in bed I realize I would do anything for Rosalind; if she wanted to dance I would let her wreck the furniture, If she wanted to cook I would let her burn the house down, If she wanted to scream I would let her deafen me, I never loved anyone as much as I love her.48 And with that I started to fall asleep knowing my mate is safe and sleeping just across the hall. I wake to a strange feeling. I jump out of bed and go across the hall to Damon and Rose''s room. I knock a couple of times before I just let myself in. I look around to see no one in there. I quickly turn and head out the door, following Rose''s scent. I go down stairs and finally find her eating breakfast at a table with Damon, Zoey, ke, and a little boy around the age of one. They look to me, "yton, join us for waffles and bacon." ke says smiling at me. I still have a weird feeling as I look over at Rose and see her staring at ke. I sit down between Rose and Zoey. "yton, this is my son Kaden." I look over at the young boy and smile, I can''t wait till Rose is old enough for us to have our own pups. "He looks a lot like you," Iugh looking at ke, he chuckles and we all eat while I can''t shake the weird feeling away. After we eat Damon, Rose, and I all go back to Damon''s room. "Daddy, I don''t wike it here. Those men give me a scared feeling." Rose whines running over to me and jumping in my arms. Is it possible that I was feeling my mates feelings? It can''t be, I haven''t marked her yet so we can''t feel what the other feels, not yet. "Darling, they''re not going to hurt you." Damon says smiling at her. She jumps back out of my arms and goes to get dressed for the birthday party and I leave to my room to get dressed. Once I''m dressed decent I meet Damon and Rose in the hall. She''s wearing the dress I bought her yesterday, she''s so adorable in it. We then go downstairs for the birthday party. I''m not big on the whole party thing anymore ¡ª I find it stupid. Rose is currently ying with some other kids her age while Damon is talking to ke, and me? I just stand awkwardly watching everyone enjoy themselves. Can''t believe I used to be a huge partier. Zoey walks over to me and smiles a weird smile, "Alpha yton, it looks to me that you''re not having any fun." "Yea. Parties just aren''t my thing." "ke told me stories of how you and him were the biggest party freaks, always causing trouble and breaking hearts." I chuckle at the memories of ke and I at Alpha Training. It was the best years of my life; that is until I found Rosalind. "Well I changed." I tell her with a forced smile. "You changed? How so?" She asks me as she gets a little closer. "I became an Alpha and found my mate," I pause and look over at Rose while sheughs and ys with the other little girls. "I grew out of partying and sleeping with random girls." Zoey frowns slightly, "I see." She says before smirking and walking away. By the time that it is 9:30 pm Rose got tired and I carried her to her and Damon''s room. Once Iid her down I kissed her forehead and walked out of the room when my phone started to ring. "Hello?" I ask answering my ringing phone. "Alpha yton." A deep voice that I don''t recognize says. "Who is this." I ask/demand. The man ignores my question and continues talking, "I suggest you keep a close eye on that little girl." "Who the hell are you." I demand using my alpha tone. They ignore me and say, "What''s that girl''s name again? Oh yea, Rosalind." When he says her name I crush my phone in my hand and drop the broken pieces to the floor. Right as I am about to go back in the room to check on Rose, Zoeyes walking down the hall. "Alpha yton." She says smirking and makes her way over to me. "Hi Zoey, I can''t talk right now." I tell her as I turn to open the door to Rose and Damon''s room. Zoey turns me around before I get it open though and she rubs her hands up and down my abdomen. I growl at her touch as it sickens me to have a female touch me that is not my mate. "Don''t touch me." I warn her. She just smirks and leans in for a kiss, but I immediately push her away, harder than I thought, and she hits the wall just as ke and Damone walking down the hall. Just my luck. "ZOEY!" ke runs over to her and picks her up while she starts to fake cry. "H-he kissed me! I tried to make him let go of me but he started to touch me and then he threw me into the wall!" ke growls a deep, threatening growl and res at me. He pushes me against the wall as I try to tell him, "I didn''t do that, your mate came at me!" "DON''T YOU SPEAK OF MY MATE LIKE THAT!" ke yells in my face as I push him away from me. Damon growls at ke, as a warning to leave his Alpha alone. ke gets mad at Damon as well, taking Damon''s growl as a challenge against an Alpha. ke starts threatening Damon and me before I smell Rose, I look behind me to see Rose rubbing her eyes and standing in the doorway to her and Damon''s room. "What''s going on?" She asks as she starts walking over to Damon while ke has him pinned up against the wall. I push ke off of Damon and hold ke against the wall. "Rose, stay there." Damon tells Rose as ke''s beta runs into the hall and punches me in the face, causing me to release ke. Rose screams as ke then punches me in the stomach. Damon runs over to me and tries to pull ke off me only to get tackled by Jason. Jason starts hitting and kicking Damon and Rose starts crying. "Daddy!" She runs over and she hits Jason in the leg to make him leave her dad alone. Jason turns around and hits her, somehow I felt the stinging in my face as he pped her ¡ª I then lost all control because my mate is in pain. I punched ke hard enough that he let go of me and I tackled Jason down to the ground with my hands around his neck. I start choking him. I didn''t want to stop, until Damon pulled me off. "Get off my territory. NOW." ke growls as Zoey hugs him. I pick Rose up and try to calm her as she sobs into my neck. Damon hurries and grabs our bags and we leave out to my car to go home.
