She has been running aimlessly for the past hour. Tears smear down her face as she thinks about her pack. Terror fills her body as she feels them getting closer and she wills herself to push her legs further so that she could run faster, her body is filled up with scratches and cuts from cutting herself while colliding on the trees and branches as her vision is of no help to her. She could feel them breathing heavily as it hits the back of her shoulder for a second. but she doesn''t stop running. Her lungs burned due to the effort of pushing herself beyond her limit. She could feel the vibrations of their growls as annoyance took over their senses making her run faster, her feets ached and bled as they came in contact with sticks and hard rocks but at the moment she could care less. She didn''t know how she could still keep running, she felt something inside herself pushing her. Maybe it might be the fear of death that was keeping her alive ironically. She blindly followed the wind as she felt them get closer. she moves towards the side just in time for one of the rogues to swipe a w at her side and leave a big open wound, it stings instantly and tears fill her eyes immediately, but her steps doesn''t falter. The scent of blood overpowers, her blood. She was so caught up in saving herself that she didn''t feel herself crossing the pack territory line. She runs a few more miles and stops immediately, when she doesn''t hear their pounding footsteps behind her, her brows furrowed in confusion. that seemed odd to her, making her wonder why they suddenly stopped chasing her. She sticks her nose up and tries to smell the air for any possible threat, but the only thing that she could smell was the scent of rain and damp mud. But the thing that had her stopping in her tracks was the power that was being excluded from where she stood and it doesn''t takes a genius to know that she crossed the pack grounds. She gulps in fear, Pack wolves don''t take gently to rogues or lone wolves trespassing into theirs, it''s a crime and most of the packs serve harsh punishments like death. She feared one pack in particr, The Blood Moon Pack. The most feared pack in the world. She may be a shy and socially awkward person but that doesn''t mean she''s blind to things going around her, even though she was physically blind. The rumours has it that the Red Moon Pack loathes rogues with a burning passion. It''s said that they either instantly kill them on spot or torture them with wolfsbane and silver. Their pack members are said to be all well trained warriors from the young age of eight, no matter the gender. They give equal importance to both the male and female wolves. Which she respected them for. A chill runs down her spine when she thinks about their Alpha Alpha Adryan Romani. That was his name, atleast that''s what the rumours say. No one has seen him and the few that have lived to tell the tales about him are either too scared to speak or have gone crazy. It''s said that he''s the worst of them all. He''s feared by all the other Alpha''s in the country as their power is nothingpared to his, she remembered once hearing a rumour that he alone could take out a hundred werewolves, and that''s saying something. Werewolves are strong creatures, who have a good sense of smell, taste and hearing. And fighting one off isn''t easy. He''s known for his cruel and vicious ways, they say he''s heartless. Rumours also say that he killed his own mate, and that the rogues killed his parents and it goes on and on... she mostly doesn''t believe in these rumours because she''s not someone who judges a person based on the silly rumours that goes around about them. Yet thinking about him sends a weird sensation throughout her body. Her thoughts are cut off when she hears a vicious growl, which echoes through out the dead and cold forest. She''s about to take off running again when she feels the presence of other wolves, her instinct tells her that there might be about five of them. Her feares back in full force knowing that there''s no way she can fight them without her revealing her secret to the whole world, finding no way out she felt defeated. her breathing out of her lips in shallow puffs of air. All of them growl at her causing her to whimper in fear. She could hear the sound of someone shifting and some ruffling of clothes, letting her know someone has shifted into their human form. "What are you doing on our territory rogue?"A male voice bits out in anger and she feels herself flinching backwards. He excludes power, which means he''s of higher rank. Beta, a voice echoes in her head and she knows it belongs to her wolf, Kira. But her eyes widen like saucers when she hears him say territory. She had crossed a pack territory and now she''s going to get killed, how stupid can she be. The same voice growls out in obvious anger making her realise that she hasn''t answered his previous question yet. Brian, the Beta of the Blood Moon pack was scouring the territory for rogues when he caught her scent. Upon arriving he found a short light red haired she-wolf, making him confused about what she was doing in their territory but he felt threatened nheless. "Ter-r-itory? W-what pack is th-is" she stutters out with a squeak, fear coating her words. This doens''t seems to sit well with the male as he growls and she shrinks back in fear. His next words are like a blow to her mind. "The Blood Moon Pack" and all the colour leaves her face. Chapter 7: five Chapter 7: five She hears screams all around her, she could smell the metallic scent of blood thick in the air. Chills run up and down her whole body, she tentatively takes a small step forward only to halt in her steps when her feet unknowingly steps on a solid but firm thing. Is that..is that a hand? She slowly crouches down and bring her trembling hands forward...only toe in contact with a person''s face, she screams as she realises that it''s a dead body. She startles awake from her sleep, sitting upright on her bed, as she takes deep breaths in, she could feel a thinyer of sweat on her forehead and wetness present on the side of her eyes. She realises that it was just a nightmare and that it was not real, but it sure felt like it, she felt scared of what nightmare she would have again if she slept so decides to walk around, it sounded stupid as it is the middle of the night but at a time like this she would do anything to forget about that day. feeling her hands around the nightstand she tries to locate her water bottle but shees up empty, sighing in annoyance remembering that she had forgot to take it with her after filling it up in the kitchen. Standing up from her seated position, she decides to pick it up from the kitchen since her throat felt like a sandpaper. As she reaches the kitchen, she quickly locates her water bottle. Picking it up almost immediately, she unscrew the cap and brings it up to her lips. Since she was in a hurry to quench her thirst she failed to notice a presence behind her until their front waspletely pressed upto her behind, making her Hands circle around her waist in a tighthold, but not enough to crush her. Adryan couldn''t sleep when all he could hear were was her fast heart beats, he could hear her move around in her room. His curiosity rose when he heard her leave her room. His lips felt so soft on her skin making her wish that she could feel them on her lips. One of his hands trails down towards her bare thighs, she had decided to wear a baggy t-shirt and cotton shorts on, which barely covered her legs but the t-shirt did it''s work. Now though, she regretted not wearing a sweatpant. She could feel herself getting excited, she has never felt something like this her whole life. His hands slowly rub themselves softy on her skin, making her sigh is pleasure and lean her head on his shoulder. She was going out of her mind due to boredom. She could make out the outline of certain objects and the color of it, which mostly appears blurred to her. She never used her wolf''s eyes much before, since she didn''t want to rely on her wolf all her life and she has been also told by her parents that her eyes glowed green whenever she used her wolf''s vision. She could feel the power surging through her as she used her wolf''s eye, she finds a girl who seemed like she looked about the age of neen, with brte hair and blue eyes. She switches her vision back to normal within a timespan of few seconds. She slowly moves towards the brte haired girl, hoping she would assist her on what she could help them with. Malia sounded like she was conflicted and Jade almost lost hope, but she might have seen the crestfallen look on Jade''s face causing her to immediately switches her answer. A vicious growl leaves from the neers lips, making the forest floor shake with vibrations and causing the birds on the trees to fly away. The voice makes her wants to shrink into herself like a cocoon, and listen to his voice all day long at the same time. Her eyes, her green emerald eyes held so much emotion, but one stood out the most to him. Pain. A pang goes through him knowing that he was the cause of her pain. After a couple of steps, he warns her as theye to a stop before a cell after a few seconds. She hears the rattle of keys and of a door being opened and his hold on her bicep is back as he gently guides her inside the cell, and ces her on a hard but firm surface, her handse in contact with a t surface and she realises that it''s the a mattress. The Beta leaves her alone after locking the cage. She moves her head from side to side, and she feels cool air meet her skin letting her that know there is a small window near the bed. She takes a deep breath in and the scent of blood and death hangs in the air. The pain in her side has her whimpering in pain, as it takes time to heal slowly. She felt helpless. Sheys down on the t surface and let sleep take her away from her pain. Chapter 3 ? ''Why now"? that was the question circling around his mind. After eight years of waiting for his mate he had finally given up. He had secretly wished he would find her but all he got was disappointment instead. He too had thought that the moon goddess wouldn''t bless him with a mate. Who wanted a monster of a mate anyways?! But the fates seemed to have other ns. She literally came running into his pack when he least expected her to, when he had already moved on. Feeling the anger take over his senses he rips away the t-shirt clinging onto his sweaty body, he couldn''t stop thinking about her emerald green eyes. "Baby?" She starts panicking, she hears a beeping noise in the background, soon a door is opened and someone enters the room. She start to stand up but hands holds her down and tells her to calm down. She struggles for a bit and eventually the fight leaves her body when she feels pain travel throughout her body once again. She could feel a tightness around her chest area and she realises that her wounds are cleaned and wrapped up. "Miss Estrada'' an unfamiliar voice speaks up. "Yes" she reply knowing that he''s referring to her. "Are you okay?" She opens her mouth to speak but her throat feels sore and scratchy, she closes it instantly and just nod her head in reply. The person seems to understand her dilemma as they extent a cup of water towards her lips and she drank from it greedily, her throat instantly felt a lot better. "Miss Estrada- I''m Doctor Bain Newman he starts to say but Jade''s voice cuts him off. "Please call me Jade" she tell him in a small voice. "oh okay Jade, you were found unconscious by a prison guard while he came this morning for a check and he instantly brought you to the pack infirmary" she nods her head, it''s only now that she noticed the strong scent of chlorine overpowering her sorrounding and she realised that she might be in the pack infirmary. Last nights memorieses rushing back into her mind and she instantly feels a dull ache in her chest. "Jade" Dr Newman snaps, bringing her out of her reverie, her head tilts up towards where his voice wasing from. Chapter 4 ?Chapter 4 "Aaahh Violete in, I was just telling Ms. Estra-Jade here to that she will be guided to the pack house" he speaks to her. "Yes Bain, Adryan had asked me to guide Jade here, to her room in the pack house she replies to him and Jade is shocked by how casually this she wolf called him by his name, that made her realise that they might be really close. Jade felt her presence next to her body and an awkward silence fills the room, Violet calls out Jade''s name and speaks up "So Jade, are you excited to go?" She asks her in a friendly way causing Jade to nod her head nervously. "So should I help you stand up or?" She asks and Jade replies with a yes. Violet gently helps her up and walks them towards what Jade thinks is towards the direction of the door, she identally hits her head on the door causing pain to spread throughout her head, Violet starts to apologize "oh my God, I''m so sorry I wasn''t looking where-* Jade decides to stop her from rambling by saying ''it''s okay Violet, this happens a lot as I''m blind". The defeaning silence that followed her words lets Jade know that Violet was unaware of Jade being blind. "Oh'' is only what she replies with and Jade chuckles at her reaction. She was thankful as she wasn''t the type of person who said ''sorry'' when they came to know about Jade''s conditiontell, she didn''t want people to sympathize about something she was born with. This time she guides her towards the pack house carefully and strangely Jade feltfortable with her presence, it was friendly and calmed her nerves. "So which pack are you from? Violet decides to ask her causing her body to tense immediately. She might have picked up on her silence as she changes the topic "So how did youe across our pack?" She ask and Jade clears her throat nervously at the question not knowing how she will react "uh- umm I''m a rogue" she replies. She waits for her reply and suddenly she gasps causing Jade to flinch back with the suddenness ''Oh My God, you are the rogue everyone''s been talking about, Brian my mate, told me about you the other day about how a pretty rogue girl was captured and you were the Alpha''s m-"she stops speaking instantly making her curiosity rise, what was she going to say?. She could pick up a lot of different scents around them and that made her fidget in her spot. Violet of course notices this and decides to help her out by saying "so let''s show you the room'' and she gently guides Jade inside, Jade''s hands touch all the things inside the room to feel round, the walls, the closet the table, chair and everything else present in the room. It''s night time, Jade spend the day mostly in her new room as she wasn''tfortable enough to meet anyone else in the pack house apart form Violet, who she had lunch with. She also promised Jade that she was going to show her around the pack house tomorrow, which Jade was excited and both nervous about. She put on the night wear Violet had given her a few hours prior to wear as she had nothing of her own to wear, it was a silky nightwear which exposed most of her skin, it reached upto her mid thigh along with a peek of the top part of her chest, and it wasn''t something she was used to but she didn''t want to be rude and be a brat about it so she epted it. Sheid down on the soft bed which smelled of detergent, she was about to close her eyes when the buming sensation in her chest starts again and a gasp leaves her lips as pain took over her whole being, just like yesterday. She tries to sit up and identally knocks over themp which was situated at side of the bed, and it makes her flinch back and bring her legs close to her chest as pain takes over again. Sheys her head on her knees, a sudden voice reverberates throughout the room and she realises that the door to her room has been opened and her head instantly snaps up at the sound. He was seconds away from having sex with Lucia, when he felt his mates pain through their bond causing Vince to take control of his body, and the next thing he knows he was rushing towards the direction of her room, he had asked Violet to settle her in the room next to his, he didn''t want her to be too far from him. She instantly moves away from his body and this doesn''t sit well with him "stop moving mate his words makes her freeze up, this was the second time he had addressed her as his mate. His handse in contact with her exposed arms and trails down them slowly causing her to shiver in pleasure at the tingly feeling but she instantly remember his reason of being in her room and she jerks back in his hold. He had been searching for her the past week like a thirsty man in search of water in the desert. His pack members have been relentlessly searching for her, day and night. It was shocking how Adonis managed to sleep through out, not even waking up with their raised voices and when Adryan had broken down her front door with his fists. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way Jade" he continues speaking "either youe back with me, to our pack willingly, or I can throw you over my shoulder and take you back by force. Your choice." He finishes speaking with a wicked glint in his eyes. "You wouldn''t" her teeth grit together as she stares at him angrily. ''He wouldn''t do that would he?'' She thinks to herself. But his glinting eyes held promise, he was enjoying this, she could tell. He knew that he had cornered her, wanting to get what he wanted, and that was to get her and their son to his pack. She also didn''t fail to notice how he had said our pack instead of his. Which made her want to snort, because his pack wasn''t hers at all. The Blood Moon Pack wasn''t her pack. It was Evergreen Forest Pack, which sadly didn''t exist anymore so she was most probably a rogue now. A free wolf even. Surprisingly her wolf, Kira had been silent so far. Which confused Jade because normally Kira was a chatty one. Her shoulders slump in defeat as she weighs her options, and the only thing she coulde up with was going back with him willingly. Jade had toy a sleeping Adonis onto her bed in order for her to collect their belongings, Adonis and her clothes were stuffed in a huge duffel bag within two minutes, andstly Adonis'' car seat. The ten minutes Adryan had given her was over within the time she was done packing their belongings and walking out with Adonis'' in her hand, just like before. She had dragged and ced the huge duffel bag near her front door, no not her front door, where front door was supposed to be. Now absent since some one couldn''t control their caveman tendencies. She rolls her eyes at that. When she walked outside her apartment, she was stunned to say the least. She hadn''t expected there to be so many people out here. But now, as she took in the scene infront of her, she could see roughly around twenty werewolves surrounding the front of her apartment, some even walking back and forth from the back of her apartment. ''So he hade prepared'' She thought you herself. There were three SUV''s precent, all of them ck in colour, blending into the night perfectly. The rest of the wolves might have travelled here in their wolf forms. Her anger rises when she sees the figure leaning so casually onto the sides of one of the ck SUV''s, looking at the wolves that were walking back and forth.
