《In another world with modern knowledge and magic》 CH-1 CHAPTER -1 ''Looks like I finally died at last, hi who don''t know me hi I am Rishabh Katoch an ordinary boy city boy who can be found anywhere and I just died, I was leading just a normal life like anyone till 15 before getting in an accident but luckily I survive but the bad news was I was paralyzed due to it.'' Today after 2 years I finally died and I am happy that I can finally leave the world. I hope my parents can move on now. The only regret that I have is that I''m a virgin, WHYYYYYYYYYY????? God I don''t have any problem but at least let me become a man before I die '', said Rishabh with imaginary tears in his eyes. ''God, you must make a rule that one cannot die if they lose their virginity '' argued about this alone and a sudden question came to his mind. ''Where am I? Is this hell, why am I here? Don''t tell me dying virgin is a crime'' lost in thought suddenly a bright light shined Rishabh started running towards it like he did know what was happening he just ran towards it like his life depended on it. You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. While running towards the light suddenly everything became dark but he felt that it was different he felt warmth in his body, he felt things on his hands. He felt that surprise as he opened his eyes and as he looked around him he found him in an unfamiliar room, the room that he was in was a western style. It was morning time, as he looked around there was nothing that stands out, while looking around suddenly memories of someone else started to flow in his mind. While looking in those he found that his name was Alan Ainsworth, he was the 4th son William Ainsworth who counted in the country of Arises, their territory was in the western corner of the kingdom. ''And why do I know this, why am I here???? Ch-2 Rishabh who is now Alan Ainsworth was currently in his room recollecting his memories of Alan. He is currently 13 years old and was 4 the fourth son of the count. He has 2 older sisters and has 1 older brother who was the eldest and their family was just a normal countryside noble. While recollecting his memories, a maid came in with an irritated look on her face. ''So you already awake, well. Wash up yourself, tidy your room and come down for breakfast.¡¯ With an irritated look on her face she left. For a few seconds Rishabh was confused about the maid¡¯s behavior, for thinking for a while he found his answer. Alan is known as the ¡®idiot of the county¡¯. It was not that he was really an idiot; he was just average in comparison to his siblings. Things were just normal for Alan till he was 7, but it completely changed because he didn¡¯t show any talent for anything, he was just average in everything due to this his family started to see him as a disgrace to the family. It started to spread and made him angry and he started to vent his anger on other people which only acted as a wind for fire. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.By the time he could have grasped the situation things were already out of his hands and found himself distanced from his family, and now was only a burden for the family . ¡® hnmmmm, it is quite sad for him but what can we do now , well I don¡¯t care ,I just need to get away from here find a peaceful place to live , a lot of money and most importantly get rid of this virginity.¡¯ A smile was on his face which only a man of culture can understand. He was sure that it would go just fine all thanks to knowledge of his previous world¡¯s knowledge he felt like he was on the top of the. Ch-3 The most important thing of this world was that this world was filled with magic, this is a place the kid who watches anime wanted to have. ¡®o lord Shiva, Buddha , Jesus, all the gods of the world thanks for this opportunity that you bestowed on me , I am gonna try my level best in this new world .¡¯ After his prayers end he cleaned his room and went to the bathroom, in the mirror he found a kid with brown hair , sky blue eyes with clean white skin and on the top of his facial characteristics were also good ,in total he was good looking and I was sure that the will be a handsome man in near future. This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. While praising his good looks he took his bath, wore his clothes and moved towards the dining room. In this world it is considered important for noble families to at least have breakfast together so that they can interact with other family members for the betterment of their relations with each other. When Rishabh entered the room he found that all other members of the family were already present in the room and were waiting for him. At the end of the table was the count William Ainsworth, he was a mid-level warrior, but his main occupation was a trader and was also successful in it. On his right side was his wife and the countess of their territory¡¯s countess Elizabeth Ainsworth. She looked like the definition of noble women with her proper combed brown hair, same sky blue eyes as Alan and elegance could be found in her every move. Ch-4 The dining table was quiet except for the sound of servants walking around. The silence was then broken by the count. ¡°Today i will leave for the inspection, it may take more than time this time¡± ¡°Is there anything serious, dear.¡± asked the countess with a concerned look on her face. ¡°No, it is nothing like that¡± After assuring them the table again became quiet. The quietness was then broken by the countess. ¡°I will depart to aunt Margaret''s residence with Allina, she has invited us to a tea party in her new house, the trip will be long, it seems like her new mansion is quite far away.¡± Both news were like gifts sent by heavens, it had him worried that if they found something odd his life may end before he started, or even worse a experiment subject. With this he had enough time to think of something. ¡°It looks like you will be alone here for some time, do things about twice before causing any trouble¡± his soft voice turned into a harsh one, his serious face clearly giving him a warning to not do anything stupid. ¡°Yes my lord¡± were the only words that came out of Allan''s mouth, he made sure to not make any eye contact similar to what Allan did before Rishabh took his body. The whole room was again silent, it remained the same till breakfast ended. The only thing Allan found good about the breakfast was that it was nothing he ever had. Reading on this site? A big table with a bright white cloth resting on it was what we call a full English breakfast with bacon, sausages, eggs, black pudding, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast and silver cutlery on the side of his plate. ¡°Being a noble is truly good,¡± Allan said in his mind with a deep sense of satisfaction. With this breakfast came to an end and everyone started with their duty and work. The only person who was free was currently in his room thinking about his future. The only missing piece in his plan was the information of the world, which can change the course of his plan. With this he left his room, shocking all the servants of the house, as he only Ch-5 While focusing on the route for the library he left his room. Without any thought he entered the library. From morning to evening he was there in the library soaking all. He left only when he was called for dinner. Dinner was provided in his bedroom itself. From reading he came across some basic knowledge about the world. First was mana which was the base of living things, present everywhere in the air. Everyone is inhaling mana but the difference is how much they can store. According to basic knowledge both warriors and mage have the same starting point feeling the mana but the difference is the way they use it. Mage use mana as a base and convert it into elemental energy, meanwhile warriors use mana to strengthen themselves and gain monstrous strength, even breaking mountains. Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. Alan was already thrilled after reading about it and was ready to go for it. After finishing his dinner he was all alone in his room. Sitting on one leg upon another. He started to take deep breaths. ''According to the book I have concentrated the energy around me in my body.'' After a few hours he was able to feel the energy around him. '' IT just looks like dust particles but is somewhat special and strange, how I need to gather it inside my body'' . Although he didn''t not know what he did was enough to put geniuses to shame. Usually it takes at least a month to feel mana and to absorb it. The main reason was that the major difference of mana in this world , the difference was easy to catch. While absorbing, he suddenly had sudden pain running throughout his body and his body fell into paralysis. It is something which happens to everyone but without the supervision of a master it can even kill the person. As they get frightened start to move causing them to act recklessly . But for Rishabh it was nothing as he was in this state for at least two years. He was calm and slept without any hesitation. Ch-6 After waking up he found that he was able to move his body properly. A blue screen came in front of his eyes. Name - Alan Ainsworth Age - 13 Race- Human Strength - FF- Stamina - FF+ Agility -FF Mana - F+ Skill - appraisal , analysis, conceal Only thing which came to his mind was that it was a system. ''What a shitty status it is''. While exploring his status he found a shop option. After clicking the shop option a new screen came in front of him. Potion, weapon and skills. This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. ''It looks like I will still have hope, with this I might be able to get strong even with this stupid status.''said with a smile of relief. He opened the skill option but his whole world broke on him as he found all the skills were locked. '' what the fu** why something like this, it''s just like someone gave a car for free while rising fuel prices skyrocket.'' He looked like he could burst into tears any moment. All the options were the same and we''re locked. When he tried it replied with ''Not enough aura points'' ''what the heck are these aura points.'' At the moment his mind was a mess. As he has found himself a gun without bullets. While cursing his luck the maid came in with the same irritated look on her face. ''Breakfast will be served sometime , go wash yourself and clean your room.'' Rishabh felt a sudden urge to fight back but could not do anything as he was powerless at the time and did what was told. After finishing his breakfast he started making his preparations to leave for the market, as he doesn''t have any general knowledge about the world. He told a servant about his desire to go out for a walk and left for his room. He chose the most simple looking clothes , well even though he was an idiot he was a noble by birth which made his closet something not his type. After changing his clothes he was greeted by a servant. '' Here''s your money and your escort is waiting in your carriage.'' After taking the pouch of money he left for the market. Ch-7 At the door he saw a normal looking carriage waiting for him. Alan entered the carriage without any second thought . As he entered the carriage he found a man was already there. The man looked quiet young and was wearing an Armor and a sword at his waist. With a casual smile on his face he said '' good morning , today I will be your escort , I am Markes . Alan answered with a casual nod and used his appraisal skill on him . Race - Human Strength - D- You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. Stamina - D Agility - D+ Mana - E- '' hmmm he looks strong .'' thought Rishabh. After checking his stats he looked at the pouch in his bag. He saw shining crystals in it. This world had crystals as money and was accepted everywhere. These crystals are simple crystals with mana in it. The higher the concentration of mana a crystal has the darker the colour and they cannot be made artificially making it reliable for using as a means of exchange. Lowest were white crystals and highest were the black crystals, there are more valuable crystals but are not used as money as they are rarer and have many other uses. Rishabh picked a black crystal from the pouch , and a notification came in front of his eyes . { do you want to convert it into aura} This was unexpected but he felt relieved as he found the currency of the system which can make him as strong as those of the protagonist of the novels he read back in his world. Ch-8 As he was happy about his unexpected discovery Alan still managed to keep his calm as Marks was in front of him and did not want any kind of trouble. The only discomfort he was dealing with was the pain in his butts given to him by the rough roads. While dealing with the rough roads and the pain, he reached the market. The view in front of him looked like it came directly from a set of medieval period, people selling their goods on both sides of the roads, children playing around, soldiers walking around doing their regular petrol and people of different styles and people of all kinds walking around. "Stop the carriage" said Alan with a flat tone, he wanted to know more about the world and it was better to have first hand experience and he was no longer able to endure the pain in his butts. The view in front of him was something he could only dream of, houses made of stone and wood , a well at the center of the market and fresh wind blowing making him feel refreshed. With a positive feeling he started to walk around the market. Marks was walking behind him. Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on Royal Road. The freshness ended with the whisper of the people around him. All kinds of insults landed in his ear, but all that it could do was to make him a bit uneasy while all this was happening. It struck him that it was his body not particularly him, while consoling himself he continued to browse around. The whole scenario was too difficult to understand. With all this happening he reached in front of a taravan, The Bell was written on a wooden board, with steady steps he entered the taravan. A faint scent of alcohol entered his nose, people here and there eating and drinking, enjoying their company. Adams'' coming was certainly not felt being welcomed there, with his one step in the taravan the whole vibe of the place turned quiet. Only faint whispers could be heard floating around. ¡°Seriously, these whispers are more annoying than the mosquitoes at summer night¡± with the bitter memories of the summer he sat at a corner of the restaurant, After settling down an old man approached him. Ch-9 (A/n-- Sorry of the mistake, the previous Markus the escort knight left Alan alone before entering the taraven for some personal work, due to which alan is alone in the taravan. If there is any other mistake please tell by leaving a comment. ________________________________________________________________________________ The old man with the smile approached Allan. In a polite manner he asked him "what would you like sir" "Just give the best item you have" After hearing these words he left Allan and started walking towards the kitchen. Allan was able to notice him relaxing his shoulders as he prevented some natural disaster. Just how much people fear nobles, the thought made him question his reasoning. The taravan had wooden tables and benches everywhere, some tables were even joined together for bigger groups to sit down together, lamps all around for night and a rusty chandelier in the center of the restaurant. Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on the original website. After some time a waitress came and served him fried fish and sauce. " here your order sir nya" The voice of the maid was so sweet that he thought he was hallucinating. The word that caught his attention was ''nya '' at the end of the sentence. Just to make sure he looked at the waitress and found a young girl wearing an apron and cat ears on her head, Allan shuttered a bit before regaining his calm. "Do you need anything nya." The cat girl was black haired with flawless white skin with green eyes with a tail moving around at the back. "No nothing you can go" Allan enjoyed the cat girl''s cute tail when she was going back. With all this happening he started to think about the future. "The world is surely great but there are still jungle''s rule and it is more visible than on earth." All this knowledge from anime and fantasy novels was guiding him in this new world. The fish they gave him was grilled and the smoky fragrance reached his nose telling him it was grilled recently. The only thing missing was a little more salt. Allan called the waitress to ask for extra salt. The same old man came to him with the same worried face, " is there anything you don''t like ,sir?" He looked like an innocent preparing himself to listen to his death sentence. "It needs more salt," said Allin with a straight face but before he could finish his sentence the old man was already on his knees. "Sorry sir for providing you with such a meal, this sin is of my own to bear, don''t punish others for this, please forgive us." Ch-10 The whole situation looked like an evil young master misusing his power to make this old man suffer. People¡¯s whispers could be heard inside the restaurant. As for Allan he could only find this troublesome and concerned about the image of the previous owner for how it could be so bad. With all this happening man approached them, he had long yellow hair with a dark skin tone and razor sharp eyes and facial features made him look both dangerous and experienced in his line of work. He stood in front of Alan, with a serious look on his face he looked at him in trying to scare the shit out of him. ¡°Is there any problem, sir?¡± For the outlookers it was an entertainment worth gold as it was not everyday to someone fighting with a nobel. ¡°Yes, the dish needs more salt, so I wanted more salt. Is it a crime to ask for more salt?¡± said Alan with the same straight face without being bothered by the looks of the man. ¡° hnmm, it look like this to me¡± Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author. With this he directed his killing instinct towards Alan. ¡° He did not even wait for me to finish my sentence and started to apologise out of nowhere, I didn''t even tell him to do so .¡± The irritated look on his face made the man frown. Everyone''s eyes were directed towards the old man, as his decision would change the outcome of the incident. ¡° well unmm he certainly only said that the dish need more salt¡± With the realisation the man again on his knees apologising for the misunderstanding he caused and for the ruckus he caused from all the other guests. The crowd started to disperse with the commotion being brought to an end. The old man excused himself after making the meal in the house as an apology. Now only the man and Alan were left there alone, awkwardness could be sensed between them. ¡° I am sorry,¡± said the man with an embarrassed face. Alan simply nodded, with this incident came to an end. ¡°He doesn¡¯t look like the rumours said to be, he even managed to stay calm even under my killing instinct¡± Little did he know Alan''s heart was about to come out of his chest, alone with his stare. I lived to see another day was the only thought currently on Alan''s mind. He was sure if by any chance made one mistake his head would have been rolling on the floor. Ch-11 Alan just out of curiosity looked at the blond man¡¯s stats and his heart stopped for a second. Race-Human Strength- A- Stamina- A Agility- A- Mana- B+ Even a flick of his finger was enough to kill him, the other thing he found was that the other people present have Ds and Es for most. This made him wary and frightened as it was not normal for such a strong person to pretend to be a mercenary. The relief was that the person was most probably not a spy, as it could only put their mission in danger or the person is extremely kind to risk their mission for an old man. "Please be the first case," said Alan in his mind. "I might be able to get something good out of it if the situation allows it" A devilish smile could be seen appearing on his face. Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. With this he finished his food and met his escort knight outside the taravan. "I want that blond man''s information as fast as possible" A confused look can be seen Markus''s face but Alan secretly passed a him a black crystal to him, markus was not stupid and nodded his head agreement. With this they returned back to the estate. The outcome of the trip to market was that salt and sugar is expensive and salarium was present. (A/N:In ancient times salt was so precious that in Rome soldiers got their monthly allowance in salt. Salary is obtained from salarium) "With the present situation making sea salt is the best course of action but it still a not easy I don''t even have money for investment" He could only bite his lips in frustration. The routes in front of him were limited and many obstacles were to be faced. At night he continued his mana training, it cannot be called training he was just accumulating mana inside his body, directing mana was still far away. The first step is to feel the mana and accumulate it; the second is to form a mana path. Mana path is like the nervous system but instead of sending signals it leads mana in our body. The difference between a swordsman and magician was the way they lead their mana. While swordsmen circulate mana in their mana to gain strength, magicians lead their mana and concentrate their mana in front of them or outside their body and change their nature. Mana in the atmosphere could be used by them but due to impurities in the atmosphere it is not useful. The more impurities one can remove the stronger it is, but quantity still matters. Ch-12 The next morning Allan met Markus with the information he wanted. "That man''s name is Richard, a silver badge adventurer, he came to our county while being on an escort mission and is looking for another job. His background is something we are not sure about. Being a silver badge adventurer means that he was a B rank and can be considered a vertarian in his job. With the information he could only conclude that he was a hidden master. This stroke of luck is what Alan needed. After listening to all the information he ordered Markus to summon him. (Richard) Richard came to the estate, he thought this was summoned due to his previous behaviour at the taraven and was fully prepared to deal with any situation. The meeting place was not in the estate as Richard expected but was a little far away from the estate on an open ground. He could only sense Alan, no people were hidden around them. The noble he saw yesterday ,the idiot of the county, was in front of him but his gut feelings told him that there is more to know about. Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. Upon arriving he greeted him with a bow. (Alan) Alan was excited as well as frightened because that person was powerful enough to kill him even with a flick of his finger. He chose an open ground which was a little far away from the mansion in order to prevent giving servants a topic for gossip. In the afternoon the same blond man was escorted by Markus and greeted him with a bow. "You may leave sir Markus and no need to formal Sir Richard." "Yes Young master, can you bestow the reason you summoned me today, it is due to yesterday''s incident. There was a tense atmosphere between them until Allan spoke. "It doesn''t matter, straight to the point I want you to train me." "Oh¡ wait what" At first Richard thought that he heard wrong but the boy in front did not look like he was joking. "What are you scheming" With a sharp tone and threatening eyes, in order to confirm his suspicion and see if there is anything unusual, he released his killing instinct, he wanted to use force but refrained after hearing Alan''s words. " i want to survive this world" A light cold breeze blew across Alan''s face making his serious expression clear to Richard, leaving him dumbstruck. Ch-13 Richard heard the most absurd thing he could possibly think before coming to the estate. But The eyes of the kid in front of him was of someone who is ready to strive harder than any one for his goals. A faint smile could be seen on his lips as he saw a glance of himself for a moment. "Morning, before sunrise same spot" Richard did not understand what''s happening and why the kid chose him and if it''s just a coincidence or what but he was sure, he was gonna see something interesting. After saying this he left.Alan was on ninth cloud with this. "With this not only I got a first grade teacher and a backer, nobody will be able to even touch my hair or they''re gonna get their asses kicked by my teacher. Nothing will happen to this young master now" With his chest puffed with pride and nose soaring high. Only Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. It is now kissing the ground. "No slacking, four more rounds" Richard was now sounding like a military commander disciplining cocky recruits. "Shit, this body is weak, what the hell did the previous owner spend doing."Alan looked at the previous owner''s memories but it only made him angry and jealous. The previous owner spent his time sleeping, eating and chilling, enjoying his life. After finishing his rounds he took a small break. "Break time over brat, time for some mana training, now sit down first we will start with the basics of feeling mana in the atmosphere." "but i can already feel mana" Richard was a bit surprised but did not give a second thought as it is not new for nobel to start their mana training from an early age. "That''s good so you have already made the mana path??." "What is that?" Said Alan with a confused look on his face. Shock and tension clearly visible on Richard''s face." Sit down now, fast." Before Alan could do anything Richard pushed him down and sat down behind Alan with his both hands on Alan''s back. It was so silent that even a pin drop could be heard. The silence remained for a few seconds. With a solemn expression, Richard spoke " Its a bad news for you kid, it looks like your family wants you dead that to painfully" Ch-14 The shock could be seen on Alan''s face clearly and the only words that came on his lips were. "Why?How do I know, when, how much time I have, I have not done anything, what should I do, still a virgin, why ¡.." Before he could do anything Richard smacked on his head. "Calm down, nothing gonna happen to you,I am here, so just calm down." Richard started to feel that Alan being an idiot was certainly true.Only after hearing Richard he calmed down. "So what should we do first" "First we should deal with the mass of mana inside your body." This made Alan more confused as according to him having more mana should. "Having more mana should be good. Why is it harmful ?" Richard could only shake his head in disappointment . Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon. "It is good to have more mana but without a way for it move it will only affect your body and your body will explode when it will not be able to handle the pressure and believe me it is not a pleasant way to die" After hearing all this Alan was able to understand the misunderstanding and could only curse his stupidity. With an embarrassed face he explained to Richard. "Master, there seems to be a misunderstanding , this is not done by my family. "So who in fucking world not told you about mama path even after you started to feel mana" Richard''s words were harsh but was full of worries. "Master I am at fault here , I started to store mana without fully understanding it. "So no one taught you about mana." "Yes master, I only started mana training the day before yesterday." "So that''s was the problem, well we have to deal with it now" Richard said with a calm face but if one was to hear the shouts at the back of his mind, one can tell how much of a monster he found Alan to be. "Master please tell me how to form the mana path" Only after this Richard came to his senses, and started with the formation of a mana path. "Now sit down and feel the mana that is inside your body, once you start to circulate mana inside your body, a mana path will be formed inside your body on your own. The only thing you have to do is control the flow of mana the slower the better." Ch-15 After listening to Richard''s instructions Alan started to form his mana path. "First feel the mana accumulated inside my body and then slowly let it free." Alan''s mana was moving very slowly and the main reason for it was the presence of mana which was not present on earth which made him sensitive to mana. With the process taking place he felt sharp pain in his body, the itself was not very intense but pain is still pain, while enduring it his master''s calm yet strict voice reached his ears. "Don''t lose your focus just because of pain, make sure to keep the flow of mana in check, it''s your foundation, don''t mess it up." The whole process was torture for him at the moment, it felt like sharp-tooth caterpillers crawling inside his body, the pain was light but contineous, which did not felt good. A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. It lasted till sun set, with all the caterpillar touching his skin and with this he vomited a black, slimy sticky substance. " These were the impurities inside your body" With a light mischievous smile Richard Alan''s shoulder. "You are now ready to start your basic training" These words were like thunder bolts for him. "So what were we doing till now?" " simple warm up, did you by any chance thought it was training? Alan was dumb struck at his words and the straight face he was saying made him believe that he was right. The sun was setting down, with this their training time was over. Ch-16 The sun was going down, the sky was tainted in orange, the night sky appeared at the other edge of the sky, it appeared like stars came to greet the sun. I was going back to Manson, it looked like a castle from outside and it''s my house now. It''s been a few days since god knows how I came to this world and took this body. I am now Alan Ainsworth, the fourth child of the count, widely known for being an idiot of the county. The castle I am walking towards is currently home. The castle is more beautiful than what it looks like from the outside, every inch of the castle was decorated with paintings, vases, statues and marble flooring. While going back to my room I crossed some servants, the look in their eyes clearly tells me how much they hate me to be here. It''s a drag to deal with them so it''s better to ignore them. My room is on the second floor and is the furthest one, some rooms around my room are empty, and were used as guest rooms. It might be the reason for the maid to be mad if she had to come here every morning. If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. The interior is simple and with simple furniture, and is better this way, being born in a middle class family it made the luxuries of nobles a bit uncomfortable. It was a hellish day for him, his whole body was aching, the fatigue in his body did not let him think about anything but his bed. The following morning he woke up, the fatigue was still there but still dragged his feet towards the bathroom. Alan''s hands unintentionally started to search for his toothbrush, but couldn''t find it. He was about to shout asking his mother for his toothbrush but stopped after realising she was not there. " Need to do something about this habit" with bitter pain in his heart. He was not from this world and it was not his body, that''s why his habits may expose him, which may not be a happy ending for him. After taking a bath he left the bathroom with a fresh mood only to be irritated. "Where do you want to eat here or the dining table, your choice" It sounded like she was doing a favour but what could he do? "Here" with minimum words and effort the conversation was put to an end. Ch-17 With the maid left him alone, he opened the system. Name - Alan Ainsworth Age - 13 Race- Human Strength - FF Stamina - F- Agility -FF Mana - F+ "It looks like yesterday''s hard work had some effect," thought alan. But the training he had to do in the future only made him shrive. His thoughts were then disturbed by the maid who brought him his breakfast. She left the troll in front of him and left. After finishing his breakfast he left for his training. Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon. He continued to do his physical training. He really wanted to start his magic training but was stopped by Richard who said he was weak to start anything else. " Don''t be stupid and focus on your foundation" Alan continued his basic training and also gathered information about the world. Currently he was in Alcazar kingdom which was currently situated in the north western part of Meropis. It was a peaceful without any war till now and other things he found that all different races lived together peacefully and inter race marriages were allowed and were even encouraged as it was chances that child born from interracial marriage have mutant blood garanteing great strengths. In a world where strength decides everything, anything which helps gaining strength is encouraged. It was a good thing as he can enjoy cute beast girls which this world had to offer. And there is no such thing like war against demons or something like that, they were living together with all other races. He liked it this way as it would have been too much of a cringe. Along with gathering information he started to settle down and adjust in the world as Alan. He also experimented his system and found that it can generate aura points only with black mana crystals or higher, after concluding this he left it alone as he could not just take it from his family and convert them into aura points as it would only raise suspicion if they ask about the crystals. After using his skills he found that he was now basically a computer, his skill analysis helps store everything in his mind with ease but the downfall was that it can only store information but its interpretation depends upon him. Basically now he had photographic memory. Ch-18 With my newfound photographic memory I am ready to start learning alchemy, the most wanted and easy money job I have seen in anime. Alchemists are well respected in any part of the world, they are needed by all warriors so that they can improve their strength. But no matter how amazing alchemists are, it is still an expensive profession, both talent and money are important for alchemy which is a rare combination. For information I gathered I found that alchemy is divided into three types. Potions and pills, leather craft and mechanic and each are divided into five levels beginner, intermediate, advanced ,master and grandmaster. It will not be a problem for me to become an alchemist and live a quiet life somewhere, with my photo graphic memory it will be easy to become at least intermediate alchemist with my photographic memory. "I can now be considered a genius" the thought made butterflies fly in his stomach. Currently he was in his bed after training, he was still tired because of it and muscles soreness. But he could feel changes in his body, his muscles started to develop. Even if my body is in pain, the satisfaction of seeing my muscles worked like medicine for me. It''s only been a few days since my training started but the results have to appear. The next day he started the same routine as the irritating maid, military trainer. If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. "Master, good morning, from where should we start today" "No training today, do whatever you want to do" After saying this much he left Alan alone. It took Alan some time to process what Richard said and stood there with a blank face as he fell on the ground. "Freedom" These were the only words that came out of his mouth. No matter how much satisfaction he got from his muscle growth, the training he had been doing took a toll on him.A holiday was what he needed the most. With a good mood he went back to the estate. After entering the palace he found some maids talking beside the staircase, because he came from in the opposite direction they did not notice him. "Do you know that the deadweight started to train recently with a mercenary" "Really, but I heard that he is training at the back of the castle where no one goes. I think he is just lazing around in the name of training." "Yes it might be the case, i think he came to realisation that count gonna kick him out and and as a last effort is training so that they don''t kick him out" " well it will be better if they kick him out he is nothing but a dead wei¡.." Before she could finish her sentence she saw Alan standing above them on the stairs, she was able to see his cold eyes watching them from above, making her feel cold and dead. The other was also in shock, her mind went numb, she felt her fate being sealed by the kid much younger than her , his expressionless face, cold eyes made her feel like a prey. As he looked on them, fear crawled their body, the fear was mostly to rumours. Ch-19 On my way back to my room I found some maids talking and surprisingly they were talking about me or we can say the earlier me. They were talking about me being a dead weight and being kicked out of the house. While talking a maid noticed me and froze on the spot. The second maid had a somewhat similar reaction. I did not give them any reaction because I did not know what reaction I should give. It was then that the maids came in front of him. "Young master, we are sorry for saying such things please forgive please. Their voice was trembling as well as the body, they were so frightened that they fell on their knees begging for forgiveness. All the ruckus succeeded in gathering everyone'' attention in the mansion. I could see servants coming from all directions, some maids on seeing the two maids kneeling and apologising in front of me that they covered their mouths, while a frown could be seen by others as they already made up a story about an evil young master bulling innocent maids. While all gathered around, it was as an old butler who stepped forward. The butler has long white hair with a long silky beard with a fine white moustache. While walking he produced little to no sound. As he approached me he stood three stairs below, I could not figure out why he stood on the stairs below me. I concluded that he was showing me respect. "Young master Alan, may this servant ask what have these maids done for them to apologise that too on knees" His voice was humble and sounded like a grandpa next door grandpa but I felt threatened under his humble voice, it felt like he was warning me like something bad would happen if it was my fault. Stolen story; please report. But It doesn''t matter because it''s not my fault and the whole process will only chip away my free time. I decided to end the matter as fast as possible. "No they did nothing wrong, they just started apologising." After saying this much I went to my room straight without giving the butler any chance to ask any more questions. Butler Pov My name is Issac Hubert Wolfstern, I am the head butler of Ainsworth household, I have been in this household since birth. My father told me that it was their great grandfather who pledged their alliance with the head that time. This place is like a home to me. With all the time I have spent here since my birth, I am sure that no one knows about this household better than me. Today as I was going through my daily routine I heard some commotion and went to find what it was. On arrival I found two maids on their knees apologising to young master Alan. He is the fourth and the youngest child of the household. He was a good child but since few years he changed as he did not show aptitude in any field, he became a disappointment in his parents view but to make the matter worse once he heard some maids bad mouthing him which only added water to his dam, which one day broke and anger flooded like water. He was at first just a disappointment but the incident made him the trash, by the time count came to know about the situation, nothing could be done as damage was already done, the young master had already distanced himself from the family. All attempts to fix this were made but once words went out they spread out like wildfire. As I approached him I clearly saw his expressionless face and the cold blue eyes. As I wasn''t aware of the situation,I could not be bias till the situation was clear and if the young master was wrong he would have to face the consequences but to my surprise he didn''t even bat an eye as he denied anything happening and left. After he left I talked to the maids in private, at first they tried to lie and make excuses but it was only after applying some pressure the truth came out, it turned out to be the last thing that I wished for, the maids were punished according to the household law but it pained him more that he did not do anything as if he already accepted it. Ch-20 The only thing was that I was in my bed and fell asleep. When I woke up not much time had passed with this I washed myself and changed my clothes. With all time left I thought of strolling in the market, I followed the same process and the same carriage was in front of me with Markus next to it. They did not talk much, just normal greetings. As they arrived at their destination he started walking and enjoying a different era. The market was full of life, people walking around, merchants trying to earn profit, there were many different races, there were elves with sharp ears, beast people, dwarfs even demons who looked very much like humans, the only addition were the horns on their head. It was all good but the whisperers somewhat ruined his mood but he did his best to ignore them. There were all kinds of things that were being sold by the merchants, there were some things that he was able to recognise others not. The market was something that was giving a mediaeval vibes, the crates were wooden, one could see doors inside the shops which lead to the owner''s house. The environment was something that he never felt in a modern day market. Many people have swords on their waist, large swords on their back, even bow and arrows, most of them were adventurers . Adventurers are important assets for the country, they act like mercenaries during war, escort for merchants and also keep monster levels in check. All adventures had ranks which were assigned according to their strength and merit. The atmosphere was completely different from what he experienced on earth. Here most people were carrying deadly weapons in public, which he had never seen on earth. While walking around with Markus, he saw a blond boy running towards him and in a few seconds he found the kid hugging him. Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author. " Alan I thought I will never see you again, how are you? Why did you not come to see your best friend ??" The blond kid in front of him was a childhood friend of Alan. His name Aric Wainwright he is the son of the head knight. It was not difficult for him to find Aric in Alan''s memory. It seems like he just returned from his training. Even though both of them were the same age Aric was taller than him, he had the same blue eyes like Alan and golden yellow hair,he looked like a typical hero. "Hello Aric, how are you doing?" "The fu## you say, here I was worried to death and you are chilling here. And for your information I am terrible." "Was training that hard?" Aric''s family have been knights for generations and according to their tradition from the age of 7 their basic training is started in their family''s sacred training grounds which was far away from here in the mountains, there is not much information about it but it is said that anyone who goes in comes out strong. "It was a disaster" imaginary tears started to flow from his eyes. "But what happen after I left, what''s with the rumours,I know that the Alan I know was not like that" It was not a pleasant shock for Aric to hear bad rumours about his friend. "Does it matter?" "No," Aric said without even thinking for a second. "Than it doesn''t matter, let''s look around" Honestly Alan did not want to explain the whole story, it was too much of a drag. Both the friends spend the rest of the day walking around the market. It gave some time for Alan to have fun with a friend after a long time. While walking he also checked Arics stats which left him surprised. Name- Aric Wainwright Race- Human Strength-E- Stamina-E Agility- F+ Mana-F+ His strength was now at the level of a healthy adult male, it acted as a reminder for Alan not to judge this world from his former. Ch-21 While strolling with Aric, Alan also studied the market. There were mainly three Guilds for merchants, adventurers and Alchemists. These guilds were very powerful in their own fields and were responsible for enforcing rules on people in their respective fields and protecting themselves from any kind of exploitation from outside forces. The most striking feature he found was that health was in the hands of the church. Priests with their holy powers were able to heal most diseases. Due to this medical science was not as developed as on earth and even alchemists did not focus on making pills for diseases as would mean going against the church and this war not profitable for them. Alchemists mostly focused on pills helping in cultivation and other strengthening potions, which held real money for them. Not everyone was able to have a priest in their party so they used cheaper means like healing potions but were by no means cheap for the general population. Alan decided to mass produce medicines for normal fever and others. In short he was going to be the first pharmacist in this world. While forming the plan he spotted three most required ingredients for his plans.Firstly money, second proof from alchemist association and final ingredient was machines for mass production. The other two were not that hard to attain for him but lack of money was something he was currently fighting with. He could ask from his father but that would give a target to ame at and he did not want anything happening to them due to him. He wanted a fake identity for that purpose, but there were many things that needed to be done . That''s why he left these plans for the future. It has already been a week since he came to this world and everything he experienced till now was good and fruitful, meeting a hidden master, being a noble, it seems like that lady luck was smiling on him. With all the time left he started to read basic alchemy books found in his library, but the knowledge he had earned till now was bookish which only shows the result we are doing practical. Alan needed a separate identity in order to try other things but he didn''t know how much this was gonna change his world. It was after this Alna decided to talk with Richard. "Master I want a fake identity" He kept things straight without going round about. "What for" There was no change in his expression, no one knew what he was thinking. Alan explained to him the situation partially, just telling him about learning alchemy in secret on his own. With this there was nothing more to explain and Richard accepted his request. Richard pov It has been a week since we started his training. The kid is loved by mana but is lacking in all other aspects, he is weak as if he never did any physical work. But it doesn''t matter, while training even though sometimes whines but he takes training seriously and does everything he is told. Today he came to me with a surprising request, he asked me to make a fake identity. I didn''t know what he was planning but it turned out he wanted to study alchemy. With his talent he can be mage but it is not a bad idea for him to try alchemy. But making a fake identity for it is still questionable, well it doesn''t matter, thinking too much about it won''t help. Ch-22 It was the next day that the master gave me a mask and clothes. " Take these, chose any suitable name, from now you are not a noble but a farmer''s child who came here to study alchemy, okey" "Won''t they ask for any kind of identification," "Don''t worry, they will only care if you have money or not, anythings else doesn''t matter to them" "Isn''t it to mean" "That''s how it works, there are many who tries to become alchemist but at the end fails,so they mostly ignore newcomers until you show some talent" "Well then we must leave, we have training to do" Richard nodded in response. They left for the Alchemist association, they used the front gate to leave the estate. Knights and other servants stopped him and requested him to take a knight with him. "Young master, please take a knight with you, it is necessary to take precaution against any kind of trouble, we will have to answer if something happen, please young master, it''s important for security" The sarcasm was clear as daylight in their words. "Don''t worry my teacher is with me, he is will be able to handle things" " But young mas,,," The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Before he could say anything Alan interrupted him. " Is there anything wrong with it?" "No no young master, that''s not what I was saying, you are getting me wrong" "So what were you saying" "Nothing young master, have a safe trip." Said the servant trying his best to hide his annoyance under his smile. With this they left the estate, he changed his outfit behind trees when Richard made sure that they were not followed. "From now in I am Mark" "Whatever" said Richard without showing any interest. After changing his outfit he looked like any other commoner, he did not change his hair colour because brown hair was relatively common in comparison to other hair colours. The only change was face but it was still difficult to look through his disguise. Without any second thought he arrived in front of the Alchemist association. Before entering the office Richard left him saying it was his work and went his way telling him to meet him in an hour. After entering he was able to understand why everyone wanted an alchemist, even if it''s a branch office in a countryside every corner was indicating their wealth. While being amazed by the office, a lady came towards him with a trained business smile on her face. She was wearing white shirt with a green coat over it which did not fail to show her curves, with a green pencil skirt and green heels. She looked like modern business women, which made him wonder if he was really in another world. "How may I help you sir?" It was when she spoke to he came to his senses. "Yes, what is the procedure to be an alchemist?" It didn''t take long for her smiling face to turn into a frown. With an irritated face she asked if he had money or not, to which he replied with a simple nod. After paying the money he was given some tools, herbs and books. "Take these, demo classes are held every evening, if you succeed to make basic pills, you have to take an exam to prove your skills and become an official Alchemist." Ch-23 After meeting Richard, Alan was somehow able to avoid training and attend the evening demo class. The demo class was held near the alchemist association in a big room. Tools were placed on a table with benches in front of it, some were already there waiting for class to start. Alan sat in the middle bench in the middle row, front were already occupied by people; it looked like everyone was ready to do anything to be an alchemist. It didn''t took long before someone joined him, the person sitting next to him coloured boy who looked a little younger than him. " Newcomer ??" "Yes, you?" "No, it''s been 2 years since I started, no result till now, it''s a hard nut to crack" Slight disappointment could be seen on his face but it didn''t take long for him to smile again. "Well, I am Ron,you?" "Mark" The name he gave to himself was inspired by Markus, his escort knight, because he was not able to come up with something else. "So, where are you from, it don''t look local" "I am from a village far away, you might not heard of it " While they were talking a man dressed in green robes entered the class. " Class is now in session" Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation. With this he started the demonstration,it could be clearly seen that he was least interested in teaching, he only showed them the process and after finishing it left the class as fast as he could but thanks to Alan''s skill he was able to memorise it but still had many questions in his mind but before anyone could say anything he left the room. "That''s how it is" It was Ron who spoke. "They are not here to teach and the only reason they come here because they are forced by their senior, there are some who answer but it depends on luck" Alan gave him an understanding nod. "It looks like we''re are done here, want to hang out, I know a lot of good places" Ron invited him with a bright smile but was left disappointed when faced rejection from alan. "Sorry, I already have some plans" With this Alan left the class and met Richard at their planned place. On the way back he changed his get as he no longer needed it for now. It didn''t look long for them to enter the estate and reach his room. It was a good day,not only I escaped from training but also took a step towards being an alchemist, there were many people in the class who wanted to be an alchemist, well it is a good job in a way you are respected everywhere you go, money flow in easy and the best it is a safe job unlike adventurers where death is always around the corner. It''s a dream job but the next problem is where should I practise it, my room is not a good option it won''t even take a day for my secret to come out, the only option is my training ground, but I need at least a shed to keep my equipments safe, these equipment are really expensive if I was not a noble but a commoner instead i could have only dreamed about buying them. While thinking, someone knocked on his door. "May I come in young master" "Yes" "Young master here is your dinner" It was a maid who came to serve his dinner. She was different from the one who usually served him and the most noticeable thing he found was that she was the most polite of all he had met till now. With a nod she left the trolly in his room and left. A smile could be seen on Alan''s face, he was happy that she treated him nicely but if he had known that all this was happening only because of the head butler''s warning after the maid incident. It was no secret what they had done and the punishment they received and many were confused by the fact that he didn''t do anything to them and even ignored the maid in order to save them. Ch-24 After eating my dinner a thought suddenly came to my mind. I need to practise alchemy in the estate and it won''t take long for people to notice him practising, it won''t take for his secret to come out. At the end he will need to answer someone. Alan let out a voiceless scream, he wanted to imitate the MCs of anime where they hide their strengths and at the end leave everyone shocked. He was so embarrassed that he wanted to dig out and spend the rest of his life, only thinking of Richard finding out about it made him want to kill himself, he could see him laughing at him. With this a new chapter was written in his dark history. Alan was not a martial art master or an employee in a black company, he was just a seventeen year kid who spent the last two years paralysed. In both worlds he is just a kid who is getting ready to face the world. The next day he met the head butler to ask for a place for him to practise alchemy. "So the young master wants to practise alchemy, well there is a shed at the back yard, it is built specifically to practise alchemy." The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. It only made Alan more embarrassed. It didn''t take too long before the head butler handed him the keys to the shed. The shed was built a little far away from the mansion so that people can concentrate without any interruption. It has been used by many family members who wanted to try alchemy. It was well equipped with all tools and other facilities, the more amazing it appeared the more he felt like dying. " Let''s put these thoughts aside and focus on alchemy" while trying to erase other thoughts. With this his road to become an alchemist started but it was a long one.To become an alchemist just following steps is not enough, for alchemy one need to learn its essence, every step have a meaning and plays an specific role and knowledge required in vast quantity, it''s like chemistry one earth. Many trying to become an alchemist also know this but ignore the fact and were just watching the demonstration hoping to success, rolling their dice to achieve seven. It didn''t take long for Alan to fail. "What the F#c$, is this" Alan said this while looking at a black foul smelling substance. After failing on his first he left the shed for his training. He was still embarrassed about all he did but could only leave those feelings aside. Training was still hard but he slowly became used to it.
