《Act of God》 Intro - Kirho and Fisa ¡°Everyone else is a piece of shit, Kirho!¡± she whispered with her voice cracking softly from the unbearable range of emotions that were coming over her, leaving Fisa in a choking state of helplessness like an old string on a guitar that is begging not to be teared from the thread. her anger and sadness fused together to fill her up. ¡°I know¡± he replied, stroking the long white hair on her head, which rested on his thighs while she sobbed into his baggy, black trousers. He looked down at her with a loving expression of concern and compassion. ¡°they are all so fucking stupid. Only you are normal.. im so lost at this point.¡± She managed to talk again after getting over her tears, ¡°I just.. feel so trapped in this world. Its so unfair that we have to be alive..!¡± ¡°I cant accept it when you talk like that about your life.. I cant even get how your mind works. How do u get this emotional over matters like that when you don¡¯t even value YOUR own life¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know anymore. I know life, you get me? I know how it is, but I feel that¡¯s exactly just why I get so emotional. Valuing life is so stupid when no one else does the same.¡± ¡°now that¡¯s just childish..¡± he sighed a bit too loudly ¡°I- well so im childish, ok? why the fuck are you being like that with me?¡± her voice got louder, with her voice not hiding how irritated she felt from this response; ¡°why is it every time I try to tell you about my thoughts you are always being such a condescending asshole? Im sorry, that I am not as smart as you, but may I still have the right to feel and think? or is that no good?¡± she continued, with her tone now contemptuous and aggressive. ¡°I never meant it like that! Im so sorry that what I said felt invalidating but please believe me, fisa, I really do take your problems seriously..¡± his panicked voice struggling to explain himself she sighed and went silent for a second, letting the room get quiet. ¡°it doesn¡¯t feel that way at all.¡± She finally broke the suspenseful silence; ¡°I only want you to be supportive, but that may be too egoistic. I don¡¯t even know what I should feel or want from you.¡± At that point, the great deal of despair she felt finally caught up to her and left her sobbing quietly. ¡°im sorry.. im so fucked up..¡± kirho felt terrible at this sight. he pulled her up from him so she was sitting straight and looking at him with her still red, wet eyes, and grabbed her by the arms ¡°you know I love you. and that i just want to make you happy. Im just not too good on words. Please don¡¯t take me so negatively. I promise you that I will never discredit you like that¡± Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.¡°I want to believe you so bad.¡± he pulled her closer and wrapped his arms around her in a tight, warm, hug; ¡°so uh, do it¡± taken aback for a second, she froze, then finally giggled while closing her eyes to immerse herself in his love ¡°okay okay, I believe you¡±. After a long pause of silence that filled the room, to kirho¡¯s mind came an idea as to how he could lighten the mood. ¡°hey fisa. do you remember that time when we were like, what, 6 years old? And Ethan decided he wanted to try riding his dad¡¯s horse? With the armor on and all.¡± ¡°ohhh yeahh oh my god he fell so hard on that pile of horse shit! it was so funny¡± she started giggling. ¡°I wonder what he¡¯s up to now! Havent seen him ever since that argument we had.¡± ¡°I do still wonder about him sometimes too. I wonder if he managed to find his place in the world. The changing was very hard on him..¡± he looked a bit serious for a second, forgetting his own plan of lightening the mood. ¡°yeah didn¡¯t he modernize his name to adapt and stuff? Maybe hes doing good¡± fisa responded unbothered. ¡°well, he always had a hard time with new stuff, I think jumping 1,000 years ahead in time is too much for him... hell, it was hard enough for us. I worry, actually.¡± ¡°hm. Don¡¯t worry too much. I think.¡± stopping to ponder on her response for a bit, she got a bright idea. ¡°oh! I know! Lets try to find him! He probably haven¡¯t moved or anything, it wasn¡¯t that long ago!¡± kirho was a bit surprised at that thought, ¡°do u think hes still here in Akigarden?¡° he asked. ¡°yeah! Lets try finding him tomorrow or something. Ask around and shit¡± she replied smiling, excited. ¡°hmm you know what? Yeah, sure! I hope we are ready for a reunion¡± he laughed, feeling a bit nervous. ultimately, kirho was happy now. He could spend his days with fisa, which he loved with every fiber of his being. he also wasn¡¯t obliged to fight anymore, he could finally live his life quietly. the modern world was way less barbaric. It was way more convenient too, using this thing called ¡°technology¡±, to him it seemed like everyone in the world was a powerful Abal now. honestly, he was still trying to figure everything out, even now, as he wasn¡¯t used to it as of only two years ago. and, deep down in his memories still exists everything he went through. but ultimately? kirho was happy. Prologue ¡°come this way¡± she whispered he was walking silently behind her, trying to keep quiet; he knew how dangerous taking this route to the cathedral is, especially at night. confused by her agility, he struggled to follow behind as Sahar was hopping from ledge to ledge and running, lacking any rational concern for the obstacles in the way or ever giving a thought about how she might fall down. every couple of seconds she had to stop on her tracks and turn her head back to check behind her, waiting for him with impatience. after some minutes of jumping between edges of windows and balconies, he could see the side wall of the huge cathedral they were heading towards. reaching the wall in a jump Sahar, to Aro¡¯s surprise, landed on.. nothing. in his eyes, he only saw her hovering on the air next to the wall. facing him, she explained ¡°the shadows in this spot play tricks at nighttime.¡± he jumped right besides her and found himself standing on a step, a hidden step that led to a staircase that was all just plainly there in front of him, but that no one could see unless they reached it. ¡®were the shadows keeping this as a secret?¡¯ He wondered. as Sahar was walking along the staircase, aro had to follow her to not lose himself, for the shadows made it impossible for him to distinguish even the general direction he was heading. were they walking up the stairs? Down? Into the castle or out of it? He could not figure out. the end was reached when they could visibly see the open mouth of the wolf at the end of the staircase waiting for them. Sahar jumped between the sharp teeth that stood as big pillars at the entrance and landed softly on his tongue, while aro walked cautiously inside it, stumbling between the lower set of teeth in uneasiness. now they were both inside the mouth of that giant wolf, that one could only see the head of in the darkness surrounding it. Sahar opened a small sack that was being kept there and showed aro the contents of it. ¡°look¡± she handed him a handful of human teeth, ¡°these are my collection so far.¡± If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement.¡°where did u get those?¡± he asked ¡°I take them, usually from corpses that I dig up.¡± ¡°I see.¡± There were a couple seconds of silence, and aro understood now why she brought him here. but first, Sahar had a question for him too. ¡°so, what about the secret? That u promised to tell me, about my brother.¡± ¡°oh yes, your brother.¡± He answered, ¡°im afraid he is currently in hell.¡± hearing this, her expression changed in an instant. She wore the most agonized and furious look aro has ever seen in his entire life, easily surpassing anyone else he has ever told this to. She collapsed, falling to her knees and grabbed her head with both arms. Aro couldn¡¯t think that it wasn¡¯t understandable, for the news were certainly hard to bear, but the reaction was still the most extreme he had faced yet. her head turned red and her lips could not produce any other sound aside from horrifying shrieks, full of anger and anguish. Her eyes were rushing with an incredible flow of tears that kept falling in streams to the giant tongue below. even she couldn¡¯t help it, still the commotion made was much too loud, and the wolf was awakened. instantly closing his jaws and keeping them both from leaving, they were left in complete darkness inside his mouth. He opened his eyes, that had long pupils that spanned around the entire eyeballs in spirals, and directed their vision inside his head to look at aro and Sahar. ¡°this place, this cathedral, once stood as a colossal light source.¡±, he spoke, ¡°its vast illumination was utilized for the Masaic rituals and the royal ceremonies. It was the home for the four daughters of light. Each possessing their own, the last of the four took the ship she harbored herself and escaped the invasion of the darkness that inhaled her sisters.¡± At this moment, on the other side of the world, a great dark fog was finally parted and from it came out slowly a wood dragon figurehead, that was attached in front to the red bow of an enormous ship. On it was a person wrapped in green rags, sailing forwards for the first time in ages.
