《Journey across the Multiverse (LitRpg)》 Prologue: Why me ( T_T )
Morning sunlight filtered into the lecture hall, casting the room in a soft glow. At the front, Professor Hamza stood facing the rows of desks and sleepy students. He cut a trim figure in his crisp white lab coat, which fell to mid-thigh on his slender frame. His short-cropped hair was more salt than pepper, matching the well-groomed goatee framing his mouth. Behind black-rimmed glasses, Hamza''s bright blue eyes sparkled with a keen shine. With a black marker, Hamza began drawing a series of concentric circles on the whiteboard. Each ring grew wider as it expanded outward across the board, representing the hypothetical expansion of alternate universes. "So," he said in a booming voice, "the concept of the multiverse theory is simple on paper. According to our current models, the observable universe is 46.5 billion lightyears in radius." He glanced around at the room, noticing some students nodding off in the back row despite the early hour¡ªtime to get their attention. "That estimate is correct...right?" Hamza called out, pitching his voice to rouse the dozing students. The class mumbled an incoherent affirmation, not fully awake yet. Hamza suppressed a smirk, then continued on. "This sphere represents the extent of what our telescopes can presently detect. However, we believe our universe ballooned in size from a tiny speck around 14 billion years ago. What if that expansion never halted? What lies beyond the borders of the observable?" Hamza let the questions hang in the air for effect. Gazing at the circles on the board, he imagined the possibilities - an infinite array of cosmos and laws of physics utterly alien to human conception. The thought that existence itself might be unknowably vaster than humanity could ever grasp fascinated him. Hamza pointed to one of the larger concentric circles he''d drawn on the board. "Let''s imagine this sphere represents our own universe. Current theories propose that our cosmos ballooned into existence through a process called inflation, from an infinitesimal point to massive size in a fraction of a second." Hamza''s gaze grew thoughtful. "If inflation occurred infinitely, continuing to spawn more ''bubble universes,'' there could potentially be an infinite array of other realities parallel to our own - each with their own distinct laws of physics and alien concepts." He raised his brows, . "A mind-boggling idea, yes? The hypothetical collection of these infinite alternate universes is what we call the multiverse theory." In the sea of disinterested faces, one student''s hand hesitantly rose. Surprised but pleased, Hamza nodded at them. "Yes?" "Could...could even fictional concepts exist somewhere out there?" they asked timidly. Hamza smiled, a far-away look in his eyes. "In an infinite multiverse, the possibilities are endless. Anything imaginable could be reality somewhere." The lecture hall bell suddenly rang out. "DING DING!" As the students started packing up, Hamza announced with a wry grin, "Pop quiz tomorrow on everything we''ve covered recently. I hope you''ve paid attention!" Despite their grumbling, the students acknowledged the surprise quiz with nods and tired smiles. They chorused disjointed goodbyes as they shuffled out the door. hamza reached out for the glass of water but it broke into pieces. This made him a little stumble back a little. yet no one seems to notice it. Maybe everyone is sleepy. still no reaction? weird Groans echoed, but the students smiled back as they filed out with chorused goodbyes. Hamza tidied up, feeling satisfied. As monotonous as teaching could be, moments of genuine curiosity like today''s made it rewarding. Hamza breathed a satisfied sigh as he gathered his notes and textbooks. The day''s classes were finally over. After bidding the campus staff farewell, he walked to the parking lot and loaded his suitcase into the backseat of his old Honda. Time to head home after another day of teaching. "Time to head home," Hamza thought with relief as he settled into the driver''s seat of his aging Honda. The evening sky was awash in brilliant hues of orange and pink, and a refreshing breeze flowed through the open windows as he drove. Soon he pulled into the driveway of his modest two-story house, its exterior blending seamlessly with the other homes in the quiet neighborhood. After parking in the small garage, Hamza stepped out and stretched his stiff muscles, glad to be back after a long day of lectures. Inside, he immediately felt at ease. After a warm shower, Hamza prepared a simple dinner and ate in contented silence, save for the faint hum of the refrigerator. With all the lights turned off, the house was peaceful and still except for the occasional car passing outside. Hamza sank happily onto the living room couch and flipped through TV channels until he found his favorite - Toonami. Settling on the familiar animated exploits of Samurai Jack, he felt childhood nostalgia wash over him. As an introverted, orphaned man of 28, Hamza had grown comfortable in his solitary lifestyle after years of striving to become a professor. After years of grueling work to become a professor, he had the opportunity to work at Giga University, where he had been lecturing for four years. Loneliness became his friend as he found the relationships a bother, and his loneliness had become so comfortable that he now enjoyed it. though he always questioned everything around him. It was liek living in a bubble. THings that should be noticed always were unnoticeable to others. he didnt understand at first but maybe it was just that nobody bothered to care. Im thinking too much again. maybe I forgot my meds. Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
Turning on the TV, he settled into the couch to watch one of his beloved childhood shows, Samurai Jack on Toonami. It always inspired him to be as brave and determined as Jack. Many cartoons had helped Hamza become a better person, and he was re-watching the classic to refresh his memory. As the credits rolled, Hamza thought fondly, "I love Genndy Tartakovsky''s work. Such imaginative, fun cartoons." He briefly considered - if life had gone differently, maybe he could have become an animator too. But with an internal shake of his head, he dismissed the idea. "Nope, too much work." Hamza had never handled large workloads well. The steady routine of teaching suited him perfectly fine. By 10 PM, Hamza was winding down for bed. he took a few pills as always and swelled them with water. Otherwise, he would hallucinate things that happened around him. It was a condition he still didnt have an answer to. Even the doctors were skeptical if it was trauma and loneliness or a psychological thing. Hamza turned off the TV after enjoying a nostalgic evening of cartoons. he had eaten his medicine now with classes awaiting him in the morning, he wanted to turn in early tonight. But as he lay in bed, sleep eluded him. His restless mind was still too alert. "I just can''t sleep," he muttered. Reaching for his phone, Hamza pulled up a light novel to pass the time. He often read fiction before bed, pondering the plausibility of cosmic ideas like the multiverse theory. As an astrophysics aficionado, such speculative concepts fascinated him. Lately, Hamza had spent most of his sparse free time immersed in novels, TV shows, and movies - always searching for glimpses of profound truths buried in their imaginary worlds. He saw wondrous possibilities in the multiverse hypothesis. Could alternate realities like those in stories actually exist? Just as he was about to put down his phone, it chimed with a notification. "Ding." There was a direct message from an anonymous user, the sender''s number far too long to be a legitimate phone number. It had more than 100 digits. Confused and intrigued, Hamza read the message. "Become my avatar and journey across the MULTIVERSE. You like fiction, right? You might like it. It''s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." Hamza couldn''t help but laugh at the absurdity of the message. It was clearly a prank or a joke of some kind. he replied out of humor "But the fact that he mentioned multiverse? My student? some troll that took my lectures? hmmm" He was thinking about what to do. who could send something so absurd? In most cases, people would rather avoid even replying and just leave it unread. It was someone trolling him. hamza had a weird sense of humor and laughed at it. trying a reply. he was sure that it might be one of his students. Hamza quickly replied to the message, feeling a bit sleepy. [lets have some fun with it] "Sure. The multiverse is vast and mysterious, and I''m sure you have much to learn about it. But don''t worry, I''m a good teacher. I can teach you something about it." Hamza chuckled to himself before drifting off to sleep. Trolling scam emails and calls that demanded personal information was one of his hobbies - he enjoyed messing with the perpetrators out of sheer amusement. It was a small way of taking a stand against the endless stream of scams and phishing attempts that seemed to plague the internet. ================================================================================================================================================================================ Walking up as the light was shining on Hamza. It felt like morning had come. He opened his eyes and woke slowly while yawning. he saw his surroundings but it was white. nothing but white "................" he rubbed his eyes again as he thought something was wrong he saw nothing but white color. "what? WTF. Another hallucination?" After opening his eyes he just saw a plane with nothingness. Just emptiness with white color in an endless plain. He was standing on nothing as if he was floating. he tried to see his body but he had no body as he looked around. "HOW? WHAT IS THIS? WHERE AM I" "What is wrong with my vision? why am I seeing myself from a different perspective? 3rd person vision? What are these thoughts" My head hurts
So much information clogged his mind. many visions were converging. it was like he was experiencing the strongest hallucination. he could see himself muttering the same in a vision. "Past present and future? 3rd person vision? WTF is this? I just heard the same words coming from my own mouth moments ago." "AHAHHAHA MY LITTLE LAMB WOKE UP" Laughter echoed through the empty void. As Hamza concentrated on it he could not comprehend the being that spoke to it. he could not see it. only hear its reverb voice. "Come on this should be easy you Buffon. hurry up" The voice started belittling him as if he was doing something wrong. he could somehow predict its pouty face for some reason After a few moments, Hamza was able to see the entity that was speaking to him. It was a being that defied description. Hamza could not think of how to describe what it looked like. It is as if im looking at something that is changing forms instantly or something. My mind hurts to comprehend it. It looked down at Hamza as if he was beneath him, its otherworldly gaze piercing through him. Suddenly, the entity transformed itself into a lady-like figure of the same height as Hamza and approached him. Its hands roamed over his body, touching him everywhere as if to claim him. Hamza was frozen in shock, unable to comprehend what was happening. He could feel the entity''s presence emanating, a force, unlike anything he had ever experienced. "Oh! My little lamb is finally fully integrated. You''ve formed a body. How delightful." Hamza recoils in disgust at the touch, that was studying his body. after a while, he somehow was able to make sense of the form both of them had. "What is this? I look exactly like a black mannequin. And why can I see myself in the third person?" "What are you? Where is this place? What''s happening to me?" Hamza''s voice is laced with fear and uncertainty. "Questions, questions, questions. How annoying." the entity said in a bored tone. The voice was high pitch like a woman''s and was dripping with sarcasm as she took a step closer to Hamza with each word, causing Hamza to take a step back in fear. The woman is like a black mannequin, with no facial features aside from a busty female figure. But it''s the terrifying aura emanating from her that truly terrifies Hamza. "You know what? I''ll just answer all your questions like this." In a flash, all of Hamza''s questions are answered in their mind, rendering them speechless with awe. Im a pet? What the hell is going on? That stupid message was from this entity. The goddess manifests an orb from her palm, with countless threads emanating from it. The sight fills Hamza with terror. "Let''s skip the boring stuff. You need to save some verses. This sphere is in danger because a parasite will devour everything in many verses, gaining too much power. You''ll be spawned into them before the parasite can consume them completely. Your job is to try to prevent it from absorbing everything in existence" The goddess holds a ball floating in her other palm, projecting multiple screens showing the character Samurai Jack on them. "This is the omniverse containing Samurai Jack in its entirety, including all infinite timelines and parallel worlds. Eventually, the parasite will escape from here and will devour this verse first, giving it the opportunity to roam freely throughout the place called Omni-nexus. Basically, it''s a place containing everything." "It contains everything. Every conceivable Omniverse exists or will exist in the Omni-nexus. For example, you''ve watched shows like Demon Slayer, One Punch Man, and DanMachi, right? They exist separately. Everything with a concept is like a node that exists separately in the omni-nexus. They are just as real as you are." "Yeah, they''re just fictional characters. I guess you''re going to tell me they exist because of the multiverse theory." how could a theory like this even exist for fuck sake? it''s a fucking paradox itself "Every concept has a node. There is also a hierarchy of nodes. You are just one of the few a node that is up there in the hierarchy. To you, they might be fiction or just imagination with creativity. But they have their own existence. I just pulled you into the lower dimensions so you can interact with them." "Why me? What absurd, fucking reason did you do that?" Hamza''s frustration boils over. "ahah.. Why not? You agreed to my terms, so here we are. It might even be fun. You''ll probably die a few times, but who cares?" The goddess lets out a sadistic laugh. "Motivated?" Hamza is at a loss for words, completely speechless. So I''m just here because I agreed? Wow! im stupid Hamza fell down on his knees as he could not accept such an excuse. so I''m a toy to her. My life, my peaceful life all gone because a damn god was bored? I feel the pain of MCS in fiction. I want to go home. but why can''t she choose anyone else? why me? Hamza was literally contemplating how Unlucky he was. Seeing him like that the goddess patted his head "Cheer up my pet. I will give you the means for you to unlock your true power in the process. You are a god now. you have to make decisions about what will happen in the course of your journey across the multiverse of verses. Aku might become a threat to all of infinite existence" "what? aku from Samurai Jack? Huh!" facepalm [author] Sup. How do you like the introduction to the series? any thoughts? also just a heads up this series will be somewhat funny yet grimdark at the same time. "Why would I spoil the fun?" With a snap of her finger, a shimmering rift opened before Hamza, revealing an old-school retro-style game opening screen. It hung suspended in the void, its nostalgic design adorned with pixelated art. The background depicted a haunting image of his demise, sending a shiver down his spine. As a tingling sound reached his senses, his focus shifted toward the screen''s vibrant start button, practically begging to be pressed. [Start] ¡°Do you take me for a mere plaything?¡± Hamza''s voice dripped with disbelief as he directed his incredulous gaze at the observer. Giggles escaped her lips, betraying her amusement. The goddess stared at him. Her calm demeanor faded away as if it was the wind passing by. This made Hamza tense, and he shifted his focus to the screen, well aware of the unease brewing beneath his tough exterior. "You''re fucking with me, right?" It felt like the goddess is just being a bitch about it. Even now she was giggling for some reason as he asked the question. The goddess responded with an amused laugh. "Oh no, this is completely serious." "Of course. I''m serious about the issue at hand, but that doesn''t mean I can''t have a little fun teasing you along the way." Her calm demeanor suddenly vanished, making Hamza tense. He shifted his focus to the screen, well aware of the unease brewing beneath his tough exterior. The goddess stared at him. Her calm demeanor faded away as if it was the wind passing by. This made Hamza tense and shift his focus on the screen. No matter how tough he could act deep down he knew all too well. All it would take is a thought for me to be blinked out of existence by her. I just know that as a fact. I need to be cautious. It¡¯s like I¡¯m walking a paper bridge. The feeling of some animosity came from her. Yandere vibes. She''s acting a little too clingy and I don''t know for what purpose. "What? You''re making a big deal out of this." Observer tilted her head as if he had annoyed her. Hamza knew he needed to maintain his composure. In situations like this, it was better to play it off rather than apologize. He understood that this entity was keeping him around for entertainment value. "Just send me back, you goddess. Deal with your own problems. I''m not bored or foolish enough to embark on dangerous adventures like those brainless main characters. I have a life to live," Hamza stated, voicing his thoughts. "Oh, the lonely depressed life? With no girl?" the observer said holding her laughter. "It''s a cozy lifestyle. You won''t get it. Also, I don''t see anyone here so yeah who''s calling who lonely?" Hamza said with a sly tone. Though he needed to be cautious. Something just made him want to do a back-and-forth. Hamza was getting more and more frustrated with the whole situation. All he really wanted was to go back to his usual life. It''s not like he didn''t see the upside, but with the increasing danger, he wasn''t so sure anymore. He had already put his violent past behind him, all he wanted now was a life of peace. "Ahaha, cute. The deal is sealed, and I require your... ehm, assistance to combat the looming threat, after all." The goddess''s stumble in her words unveiled her genuine intentions. Hamza sensed her deliberate attempt to provoke him. Despite the blatant bait, he couldn''t resist responding. The notion of being belittled irked him, especially by this entity. I can¡¯t put it in words but it feels nostalgic. I don¡¯t know this feeling. This banter. It¡¯s reminiscent of something yet I can¡¯t put my mind to it "You were about to say ''entertainment,'' weren''t you?" Hamza retorted. By now, Hamza was resigning himself to their fate. The power to escape was beyond his reach. It felt as if he had descended into his own personal hell, his peace obliterated. What kind of karma did I have to deserve this? "Cheer up, my pet," Observer chimed touching a pat on Hamza''s back. "I''ll be accompanying you, you know. No need to face this journey alone. It could turn out quite entertaining. Ahaha." The laughter carried a sadistic undertone that sent shivers down Hamza''s spine. Fuck no. not with this thing Without hesitation, he furiously mashed the button, desperate to proceed solo. Whispers intruded into his mind, distinctly different from his own thoughts. I can read minds? For some reason, he had read her thoughts and knew that she was planning to act annoyingly. She was clearly enjoying his suffering and teasing, making it all a game to her. Obviously, she would make his situation even more chaotic in his journey. "No! Find another idiot to do your stupid task. Hell no. I can read your thoughts now." Hamza''s voice tightened, a mix of frustration and determination coloring his words. He jabbed a finger toward the goddess, his eyes ablaze with defiance. "You''ll purposely act like a pain in the ass. This is like a game to you. A freaking game. You just did this to spite me." "Aww, don''t be such a buzzkill. You''ve got a chance to live a life of adventure and experience amazing things. C''mon, you''ll even have women accompanying you. A special lady, exclusively for you" Observer quipped, striking a seductive pose and attempting to entice him through her obvious physical contact. The black, curvaceous figure lunged for another hug, but he promptly erected a force field to fend her off. Her behavior triggered a sense of d¨¦j¨¤ vu within him, reminiscent of a clingy ex-girlfriend he had struggled to distance himself from for years. Meanwhile, the game screen that appeared before Hamza caught his attention from the observer and started to shake, and various items began rolling across it like a gacha machine gone wild. It began to shake and distort, and all sorts of items started tumbling across it as if a gacha machine had gone completely haywire. A jumble of noises spilled out, resembling a malfunctioning robot desperately attempting to recite the alphabet. Hamza found himself unable to tear his eyes away from this bewildering display, his mouth hanging open in astonishment ¨C well, if he had a mouth, that is. "Duoyepohihctibuoykcidamkcus." The system said. Is this thing having a seizure, or is it just trying to speak in tongues? "Bingo, motherfucker! You rolled some good shit," the screen displayed a single message. The system screen continued to squirm and writhe as if possessed by some kind of demonic entity. Hamza wore a concerned expression, thinking that this system was going to be terrible. As it moved even more erratically, the screen presented a new window of abilities that caught Hamza''s attention. While he examined it closely, Observer finally hugged him from behind and began to tease him. However, Hamza remained unresponsive, completely absorbed in the absurdity he was reading. I''m royally screwed, aren''t I?

After absorbing all this information, Hamza found himself utterly speechless. He stared at the screen, his expression a mix of being overwhelmed and utterly defeated. "Can you just do me a solid and end me?" he muttered with a dry chuckle. The realization that he was being played with like a ragdoll was almost too much to bear. He had a sense of dignity that he''d meticulously built up during his time on Earth, and he took pride in rising above his orphan status to become the dependable man he was. And now, well, he was just a plaything. With a resigned sigh, he muttered, "I really despise my current afterlife." "Why? You are so gloomy? I think not. Anyone would die for a chance like this. But you, you are different Hamza. That''s what I like about you.¡± The figure replied, her voice dripping with a little sarcasm but her words had somewhat made Hamza flinch. Whether she was acting or not was still up for debate. Bullshit "Your existence has been remade into something beyond. The concept of death doesn''t even apply to you. So we are pretty much a couple now for all of eternity. You can¡¯t even go back.¡± ¡°So I can''t even die. You¡ are despicable." This was his reality now. Can¡¯t even commit seppuku. Can¡¯t even go back. Might as well make the most of it and annoy her. It¡¯s not like I lose anything for doing that. "You really fumble the bug with choosing Mcs huh" Hamza retorted, his voice laced with sarcasm. What¡¯s there to loose. "Just think of yourself as the most fortunate, idiot" the figure retorted, her voice laced with condescension. "FUCK YOU," he said out loud. He was tired of it. At this point just start the damn journey already. They both did not have faces but Hamza could clearly imagine the PETTY smirk on the observer somehow. "You want to?" Observer purred with a sultry grin, her voice dripping with suggestion. "Though we can''t indulge here. Such a shame. But fear not, darling. The other verses offer ample opportunities, where we''ll have flesh and bone to play with." She arched her back and thrust her hips forward, adopting a mockingly seductive pose that oozed confidence. Hamza''s discomfort was palpable as he blurted out, "Why are you so damn horny? And what in the world do you see in me? Why pick me?" There was no immediate answer, just a heavy silence hanging between them. Her eyes, like sockets, stared at him, unwavering. He couldn''t shake off the eerie feeling she evoked. What was wrong with her, he wondered, this mixture of perversion and unsettling presence? All he yearned for was his own world, a return to the peace and quiet he had always known. Instead, he found himself trapped in this twisted nightmare, haunted by her unsettling desires. The system screen abruptly transformed, revealing a button with a blunt message: [Bitch, can we move on? You''re wasting my time. Quit bitching for fuck''s sake] An awkward pause hung in the air, as if the system was struggling to suppress its own emotions. Hamza thought to himself that even the damn system had a surly attitude. "Even the fucking system has its screws loose," Hamza muttered in frustration, feeling exasperated beyond belief. Driven by a fit of irritation, Hamza attempted to punch the screen in a momentary lapse of reason. To his chagrin, his hand passed right through the display, as if it were a mere illusion. Defeated, he lowered his head, his shoulders drooping under the weight of his despair and embarrassment. Acting on impulse, he reached out and pressed the button, his movements sluggish and thoroughly demotivated. Beside him, the goddess had her hand over her mouth, shoulders quivering with suppressed laughter. "Pff," she let out, a mix of amusement and sheer enjoyment at Hamza''s predicament. It was unmistakably clear that she derived pleasure from manipulating him, reveling in his discomfort. As Hamza sighed in defeat.Observer muffled her laughter, but she could not contain it, as she watched Hamza''s futile attempts to punch the screen. "You just tried to punch the system because you were mad, or maybe it hurt your sensitive feelings. AHAHAHA," she said, sneering at him. ".........." Hamza was silent with annoyance boiling "You¡¯re sometimes stupid but cute" Observer taunted him. I won¡¯t let you have the last laugh. If my life is going to shit, I''m not letting you have the fun. Obsessive goddess. "HEEYY!! What''s wrong with showing affection to my little pet? My name is Observer. Also, are you curious? Want me to spoil the surprise? The ending to our journey before it even began? Keep in mind, the journey will become completely random and the events will become 100 times more dangerous." Observer said, approaching Hamza. "Not interested. I''ll manage somehow. I don''t want to complicate things more than they already are," Hamza replied, pointing at Observer. "What''s with ''pet''? Seriously, I''m not a pet, and stop reading my mind," he added, annoyed. Observer pointed at Hamza''s chest with her black fingers and said, "It''s not so funny when your mind is being read.¡± "I know. I''m sorry, I didn''t mean to do that. It just happened. I can''t control it. I know you said I am a god but it¡¯s hard to control myself." Hamza said. "Your existence is now something beyond comprehension. You''re not human anymore. So don¡¯t think like one. You can pretty much do anything right now at least in our own domain. This is the origin void. A place where nothing can exist. It¡¯s beyond concepts, imagination. Where incomprehensibility resides. We are that kind of entity¡± ¡°You could read my mind because you wanted to. And that¡¯s why. There are pretty much no limits because the concept of limits doesn¡¯t exist here. No time no space. Just the white void. ¡°Observer said. "But I guess I can''t leave," he added, resigned. "Jeez, you¡¯re such a party pooper. Just enjoy the ride" "So you don''t like women?" she said to tease him "It''s not that. You look like a discount mannequin at Walmart" Hamza responded. For some reason Hamza felt that he had died right now yet he was still here. What was that? Hamza just stares blankly thinking what he felt right now. Staring into the void as observer got annoyed by his remarks Of all things, I could have gotten. I got a Yandere god that is a sadist to boot. Ugh Hamza''s face palmed at the absurdity of his circumstances. It¡¯s just as hard to swallow this reality pill. This thing should not be happening. Especially when he comes from a world where he had read novel series with similar themes. It was like the matrix version of choosing the pill but this thing gave me a blue pill to choke on it. "You say as if it''s a bad thing," Observer said. She was still reading his mind as it was amusing to listen to his banter. With a slap on his back, the goddess chuckled. "Just enjoy it.¡± She said with a joyful tone. ¡°We won''t be staying in this form when we travel to the other verses. That would literally destroy that verse from existence. It would be a pain to reset it back in the Omni-nexus for me," she said, her tone laced with annoyance. "Loading the stats. Integration started" the text read. Hamza was now interested as to how they would proceed. "5:00 Minutes BABY. Just let me cook." the timer ticked down on the hologram screen in front of him. Hamza watched the timer, his mind racing with questions. "Now it responds? This system is so slow." Hamza grumbled, clearly frustrated with the slow progress. Most of his frustration was with observer just clowning and bothering him. he just wanted to end the banter and be done with it. The observer chimed in on the conversation. "That is not the case, actually. There is no time or space in this place. This is just for you to integrate with your system. It would be instant but hey you have some time to think.¡± Just how powerful is she? At this point, Hamza had grown numb to the absurdity of the situation. He just accepted the explanation and moved on. The game screen changed, and the text reading: "Loading the game mechanics. Will take some time." "Do something interesting, your questions are stupid. You''re a god now. I can''t believe an idiot got such power. You only have 5 minutes. You can do anything. I would have had so many wom-" The system displayed another message. Before the screen could display anything more, a hand reached out and grabbed it, as if it were just a piece of paper. "ahh, stop, please! im going to get destroyed" the system growled "You were saying something?" she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. The system quivered in fear, its words coming out in a panicked rush. "I''m sorry! Ahh! Please stop it, Madam Overlord Observer. I made a mistake. ahhh!." The observer slowly started tearing the sentient game screen apart, a cruel smile on her face. "Don''t give my pet any funny ideas," she warned it with her icy cold voice. "Sigh," Hamza exhaled, feeling like this was just the beginning of a long and torturous journey. He was being forced to play along with the whims of a clingy goddess who seemed to be obsessed with him and constantly belittled by a hateful system. "Jeez, I''m still hoping this is just a dream," he muttered to himself, trying to hold onto the hope that he would eventually wake up and escape this nightmare. But deep down, he knew that this was his new reality, and he would have to find ways to survive and thrive in this with all the dangers this journey would present. Well at least it won''t be boring [author] [/author] chapter 3: The Journey Starts In the empty white void, a figure sat and stared at a game screen. Hamza was focused, and immovable. Observer sat beside him. "Come on, don''t just sit there like a lump of coal." Observer said. The clock counted down In the system [2:00] [1:59]. Hamza remained frozen, deep in thought, as the game clock counted down. Observer, sitting beside him, was growing increasingly impatient. "You''re a bore, you know that?" Observer said, trying to break Hamza''s concentration. Observer was clearly bored from his antics. The clock on the screen was continuing down. [1:55] [1:53] The timer was ticking but Hamza remained frozen and just stared at the screen. Even the system said something because this was so anticlimactic. Usually people would be drunk on power beyond their wildest dream but Hamza just found inner peace somehow. His gaze was on the emptiness of the vast void. Is this how this entity had lived? No wonder Hamza could relate to it. This calmness and a sense of loneliness would make anything long for company. Maybe that¡¯s why [This power is wasted on you honestly. I bet you would be fun at parties] Both the screen and the goddess made comments about how he was wasting the limited time he had been given. Unknown to both of them, Hamza was doing something interesting. He had changed his perception of time and was trying to extend it as much as possible. Time seemed to slow and halt as Minutes passed, hours passed, days passed, years passed, it felt like he was on a time frame infinitely different. It felt like he could go beyond trillions of years, but he stopped. After 100 years. Then the clock ticked again. This kind of power was not something he should have. No living thing should. Absolute power corrupts those who have never had it from birth. He finally responded to their comments "Don''t underestimate me.¡± Hamza stretched his limbs ¡°Just because I''m not doing what you want me to do, doesn''t mean I''m not doing anything at all. I just wanted to see what the limits were with these powers." Hamza was frustrated and confused by the mysterious power he had been given. He turned to the observer and the screen and said "I was just testing something. What''s the point of this? Observer, I just experienced 100 years in a seconds because I wanted to. Why give me this kind of power?" The observer remained silent, and the infinite white void shook slightly. But she eventually responded in a slightly annoyed tone, "I told you to stop asking questions. You''re not ready for the answers." Hamza''s frustration grew. He wanted answers, and he wasn''t about to let the observer avoid his questions. "What do you mean I''m not ready? You''re the one who gave me this power, and you should at least have the decency to explain why" The observer''s silence was deafening, but Hamza knew she was hiding something from him. He realized that the observer''s words were an indication that there was something wrong and he knew that he had to uncover the truth about this power, no matter what it took. Hamza clearly felt the threat. Yet he couldn''t help but ask one more thing. Hamza gave up thinking about it. "I used to be a teacher, so yes, I was just curious." Bluffing wouldn''t suffice, but he actively attempted to shield his mind, preventing this entity from delving into his thoughts. He struggled to comprehend everything that had transpired until this point. Hamza kept watching the empty infinite void, finding it soothing. ¡°You are afraid of the questions. You might already know the answer to¡± observer said as she placed a hand on his shoulder trying to comfort him. "It doesn''t diminish your existence, your struggles, hopes, and dreams," Observer added, the last thing she had to say on the matter. Hamza nodded slowly, taking her words to heart. He decided to let go of his curiosity and enjoy the moment as it was. He kept staring into the void, finding peace in its vastness. The question he had goes beyond mere simple things he was questioning the very nature of his reality. But such notions are better left not answered. He didn¡¯t like the 50/50 of the answer. It would break him mentally. To him, this was his reality nothing more nothing less. Observer pounced on Hamza with a playful gleam. ¡°So¡.¡± She teased. It was pretty obvious she just wanted some entertainment or at least something amusing to watch. With a sigh Hamza relented and thought of what to do. She had high hopes that Hamza would do something extraordinary, something that would leave her in awe. She couldn''t wait to see what he would come up with. Hamza pondered for a moment, deep in thought. "Let''s see," he said, a hint of excitement in his voice. He realized that it would be a shame not to use the nearly limitless power at his disposal, even if just for a little while. "Alright, first I want to try something" Hamza said determination etched on his face. He extended his hands and a large, shimmering bubble appeared, its surface reflecting the light like a star. "Hmm, let''s fast-forward it" Hamza said as he concentrated on manipulating the bubble. The once static sphere began to swirl and twist, the colors shifting and blending together, creating mesmerizing patterns. She watched in wonder as the bubble expanded, filling the room with its mesmerizing light show. As Hamza continued to work, it became clear that the bubble was not just a simple conjuration but an intricate creation, a glimpse into the depths of his power and potential. The bubble continued to expand, but its shape remained unchanged, growing larger and larger until it was as big as a basketball. Observer watched in excitement, her playful gleam was evident. It was fun to watch. "Finally something not boring" she exclaimed. As the bubble fluctuated, its appearance began to change, as if it were on the brink of bursting. The light show inside the bubble grew increasingly intense, swirling patterns and colors mesmerizing to behold. A few moments passed and Hamza let out a satisfied chuckle. "Haha, look at this," he said, gesturing toward the mesmerizing display before them. The once static sphere has now become dynamic and the observer can see the depth of the creation and how intricate it was. He presented a small ball to the observer, which floated on its own in the void. "Okay, I''m going to do something interesting," he said with a grin. Hamza stood up and opened a portal for both of them, and the system screen followed them as they walked through it. He stood at the front, welcoming them with open arms. "Welcome to the multiverse I have created," he said, a hint of pride in his voice. "I put a lot of thought into it. I wanted to create something. So I created a multiverse to see if it¡¯s even possible." "Ohh, interesting," the observer said, her voice full of interest and curiosity as she looked around at the new surroundings. The place was beyond her imagination, the different worlds and realms she could see were mesmerizing. This was a moment of pure wonder. The observer looked around in awe at the infinite cosmos, marveling at the different worlds and realms that stretched out before her. The screen too, viewed the scene with wonder. "This is amazing," she said, her voice filled with awe. "An infinite, layered multiverse. You did a good job. Honestly, I expect nothing less from my pet," she said mockingly. The system however was not impressed. "Huh, I could have done better," it mocked. "This is nothing to someone with that kind of power." Hamza grabbed the screen as it floated by, a stern look on his face if he had one. He didn''t appreciate being mocked or belittled, especially not by a mere system that he just met. He took pride in his abilities and had worked hard to create this multiverse. He knew that the observer was just joking but he couldn''t take the comment from the system as well. It was personal. He had a wry chuckle, not taking the screen''s comment too seriously [Oye wtf] the screen protested. He grabbed the sentient system and started tearing the sentient system screen just to mess with it a little as if he had toon force. "Don''t make me do the same thing now, you stupid hateful system," Hamza replied with an amused voice. Observer sat back and watched the interaction between Hamza and the sentient screen. The scene was amusing to her, and she couldn''t help but be entertained by Hamza''s playful teasing of the sentient system. Just remember, after we come back from one of the other verses, it''s just you and me." Hamza said to the screen system, with a mocking tone. He laughed a bit Hamza and observer stepped through the portal and into Origin void, Hamza couldn''t help but feel a sense of excitement. "Did you make it as boring as your original world?" Observer asked. "Nope" Hamza gestured excitedly as he spoke about his creation. "It''s got so many things! I made a hierarchy of powers like angels, demons, dark beings, and gods and put them in different realms and domains. I can''t wait to see how it develops." Observer listened with interest as Hamza continued "I made the earth and humans a separate realm. The thing is, others can invade in a different sense. I''ll have to think about the other details later." She responded, "Oh, that''s nice. Congrats." Observer wrapped her arms around Hamza, pulling him close. It was an uncomfortable embrace, but Hamza didn''t resist. He was still dazed, thinking about his first creation. Observer took advantage of the moment, pressing her mannequin women''s body against his. "You happy?" Hamza asked in a monotone voice. Observer stared at Hamza with a look of surprise and confusion. "Geez, are you gay? If so I can change into anything you like" she asked "No," he replied, "I''m just god-phobic. Deal with it." "Humph," she responded, clearly offended by his statement. It was infuriating to her that she could be the ideal type for him yet he didn¡¯t even bat an eye. She just stared at him for a moment before shaking her head and moving on, seemingly having forgiven him for whatever slight she perceived. Observer looked at Hamza curiously. "So this is your first creation. Will you destroy it now?" Stolen story; please report. Hamza was confused by her question. The thought of destroying his creation never crossed his mind. He had created sentient life in it as well, and all he wanted to do was watch it, every particle, every being. He felt compelled to do so. "Never," he replied firmly. "I will just watch them, every one of them." Observer nodded, her expression unreadable. "Typical, but expected. Anything else?" "Hmm" The timer on the system screen reached zero. [Integration complete. Loading data¡.] [Journey info] The screen displayed a game-like interface, similar to the Dark Souls games. The stakes were much higher, and the consequences of losing were his death. He didn¡¯t want to die. Hamza read through the instructions carefully, trying to absorb as much information as possible. "The system here is going to balance your stats when you enter the other verses," the text read. "You will steadily gain more of your power as you continue to deal with the threats. Method 1: You will be awarded GP points for eliminating the Aku virus-infected variants across the verses. Each variant has a different GP point value assigned. Method 2: You can also earn them by interacting with the main cast of the verse. It depends on the likability or repulsiveness that the main cast feels about you. However, the amount earned is minuscule compared to the previous method mentioned" Hamza nodded, understanding the stakes and the rewards. He was ready for whatever the other verses had in store for him. He would use all of his skills and abilities to earn as many GP points as possible and gain the upper hand in this dangerous journey. Example of a Aku virus: It showed a video of a deer that was grazing the field. A mysterious black goo approaches it from its rear. The black goo crept closer and closer to the unsuspecting deer, its tendrils reaching out like the grasping hands of the damned. The deer''s ears twitched in alarm as the stench of rot and decay filled its nostrils, but it was too late. The goo enveloped it, devouring it whole as it thrashed and screamed in terror. The goo twisted and contorted the deer''s body, breaking bones and crushing organs as it feasted. Its eyes bulged in agony as it was consumed, the last thing it saw was the gleeful, malevolent gaze of the black goo before it was consumed by darkness. With a sickening squelch, the goo finished its meal, and a twisted, monstrous version of the deer emerged. Its eyes now glowing red with malice, its bones visible through its putrid, blackened flesh, and its mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth. It let out a deafening screech as it set off in search of its next victim. The scene was one of utter devastation and horror, and Hamza could not look away as he watched the grotesque transformation of the innocent deer into a monstrous killing machine. A chill ran down his spine as he realized the true nature of the Aku virus and what if it could infect and absorb everything. Living or non-living. What are the limits? If Aku can do that with anything is that how he will spread like a plague within the verse? A lot of questions popped into Hamza¡¯s head. Hamza stared at the sentient system in confusion, struggling to comprehend the gravity of the threat it had just presented to him. AKU, while powerful, did not seem like the type of villain that would pose a significant challenge. He couldn''t understand why this particular villain was a threat when there were far stronger ones he could think of. "are you sure about this?" he asked, his voice filled with skepticism. "Aku wasn¡¯t even powerful within his own show¡± Observer, tried to explain further. "It''s complicated," she said, her voice tinged with a hint of mystery. "This version of AKU is an anomaly. A variant that shouldn¡¯t exist. This version will find a way to become a threat to everything. " But before she could say more, the sentient system began to react in an agitated manner, its hovering screen body displaying loud and hostile messages. "I don''t get it. We have the power to do anything. Why do I need you, system? This whole journey plot seems pointless. Why can''t we just destroy AKU in the Samurai Jack verse and come back? It would be a breeze with our power" Hamza''s words seemed to enrage the sentient system even more, it glitched a lot as it vented its anger. Observer attempted to diffuse the situation by fanning the system with her hand in a comical fashion. The system''s response was curt and annoyed, its text displaying on the screen. "It''s not that simple. You''re a --------------- being. You can''t leave this origin void. It''s the only place that can contain you in your entirety. If you travel to any other verse, you''ll destroy it simply by existing. And there are rules to this, rules that cannot be broken. It''s like trying to fill a glass with infinite water, it can''t contain it. You are not meant to interfere with any verse. You actually can¡¯t even leave this void¡± With a sigh, the system continued. "You will use avatars. Also, my job is to make you travel safely without breaking the rules. I exist to nerf your ass so your stupidity doesn''t cause unnecessary damage to the verse. You''ll get isekai''d to that verse in your pathetic state. You would need to get strong. You have to earn everything from the ground up. If you don¡¯t stop this version of AKU, it will come to devour all of the samurai verse. It would embody everything within the samurai jack verse, becoming too powerful, and start spreading across the Omni-nexus to devour all of existence." The system''s tone turned hateful. "Before you ask, yes, this is the possible future we''re talking about. It''s a possibility that exists, but it''s not set in stone. Your actions will determine the fate of the Jack verse and others." Hamza was at a loss for words, completely flabbergasted by the information bomb that had just been dropped on him. He was speechless, struggling to process the overwhelming information he had just received. "But what if I die?" he asked, his voice trembling with fear and uncertainty. The system''s voice remained emotionless, with a hint of sarcasm. "Well, if you''re really that worried about it, you should probably start working on your push-ups and sit-ups and squats when you get isekaied. My main goal is to nerf you while also making you stronger as you eliminate threats. You literally unlocking your own power through me without breaking the cosmic rules. These rules are in place for a reason. your death, while not ideal, is ultimately insignificant in the grand scheme of things." Hamza felt a surge of anger and frustration. "So you''re saying my life is disposable, that I''m just a pawn in this larger game?" Observer, sensing Hamza''s confusion and fear, interjected, "Don''t worry. Your original self now exists here, linked to me. Even if you perish anywhere else, you will simply respawn here, much like in a video game. Understand that this does not mean it won''t hurt. You will experience everything - pain, sorrow, death, agony, love, hate- but you will not die permanently. Unless AKU succeeds in devouring everything in creation, of course. That in turn will give him access to this place as well." Hamza took a moment to consider the information but soon found his thoughts drifting. He forgot about what he was thinking but couldn''t shake the feeling of unease and uncertainty. The sentient screen then displayed a screen of stats to both Observer and Hamza. It resembled a game screen, with various options for them to change their appearance and stats. Hamza felt a glimmer of hope as he realized that with the right adjustments, he could potentially deal with the threats in other verses. He had experience playing games like Dark Souls, and this was familiar territory for him. He knew that if he played it safe, he could survive. Hamza Stats

Observer could sense anger in Hamza as he read his stats, but she couldn''t help the small giggles that escaped her lips as he turned his head towards her slowly in a comical manner. "You!" he exclaimed, his voice laced with frustration. Observer froze, caught in the act of messing with Hamza''s appearance. "Wait, I didn''t do anything," She protested, fidgeting nervously with her thumb while whistling nonchalantly. Hamza simply stared at her, recognizing her obvious teasing. Observer finally spoke up, trying to diffuse the tension. "Okay, fine. I maybe, just maybe, locked your appearance. But, come on, you look dashing in your original appearance anyway. It would be a waste to change your handsome self." Hamza was taken aback, his embarrassment preventing him from questioning her further. He made a gesture as he scratched his head, trying to process her words. "Handsome? Really?" he said, a hint of disbelief in his voice. That one comment made him forget his anger and he was just happy that he had been complimented. After a few moments, he came back to his senses and realized that he was still kind of angry at the stats. "What about my stats? Are you kidding me? Even a fucking gust of wind could knock me down. What''s the deal here?" Hamza exclaimed, throwing a fit of mock outrage. The system displayed its answer on its screen in a deadpan tone. "Deal with it. You can just upgrade your stats by pouring GP points into one of the attributes. Each attribute can be upgraded by 1+ by pouring 1000 GP points." "That''s just ridiculous," Hamza exclaimed, feigning shock. The system responded with a snarky, "Take it or leave it, buddy." Hamza was expecting these shenanigans, but he couldn''t help but play along. Better than staring at 0 he thought. He then turned to Observer to check her stats, but she quickly hid them before he could sneak a peek. "Hey, let me see what you got," Hamza said with a little frustration, trying to sneak a peek at Observer''s stats. She shook her head, clearly saying no. "Nah-ah, it''s a secret," she teased. "The hell it is. You don''t mess with me and not expect to be poked," Hamza retorted, determined to see her stats. Without hesitation, He grabbed her display screen and tried to take a look, but the only thing he saw was a tab labeled "Appearance Modifier" with a figure of a blonde woman in the nude, with a voluptuous and thick figure. The woman''s height was tall and her face was beautiful as if she was being sculpted. Observer tried to grab her screen back from Hamza, but he held her in place with one hand on her head as she struggled to get close. ¡°Hey, don''t be a pervert. You can have your fun when we get our bodies," she said with a laugh Hamza immediately let go of the screen getting a little flustered "Your mind is just full of indecency. I''m not interested in cosmic gods," he said with a grin trying to spite her. Get a reaction out of her. Anything that could give information about what he was dealing with. Observer retorted "Says the guy who tried to propose to his college professor multiple times, only to be rejected every time. Ha! You tried for a whole year lol. Now you only have me, so you might as well take what you can get." Hamza felt as though he had been shattered, back in college he was kind of a clueless idiot. the word cut through him both physically and mentally. As he struggled to recover from the insult, the sentient system''s screen lit up with a message. "Okay, cool it, lovebirds. Now that we''re done with the stats, it''s time to choose the verse. Each one has a contamination rating, so you''ll need to decide which one to go with." The higher the contamination, the greater the threat of the aku will appear. The system then displayed the verses in a random order, each one representing a different level of danger. Samurai jack ------- 42% Demon slayer ------ 32% Dc ------- 11% Full metal alchemist ------- 18% Naruto --------- 12% "I will explain what this means and how it will affect the verse," the sentient system said, as it displayed the contamination ratings for each of the verses. Hamza studied the numbers carefully, trying to decide which verse would be the best option for them to enter. Each one represented a different level of danger, and they would have to choose wisely if they wanted to have any chance of surviving. The system spoke in a condescending tone, "Listen up, kiddos. The contamination will increase at a steady pace, like my mom''s cooking. You can monitor it in your info tab, just like you''d check the weather forecast. As the contamination increases, so does the power of the Aku in that verse. It will destroy the lands, people, gods, and even entire worlds and protagonists. After 85%, it will be impossible to stop it. You will lose the verse to Aku. But don''t worry, you can halt, slow, or even decrease the contamination by killing specific variant bosses that you will encounter in the verse. They will have more power and intelligence than a normal infected can ever hope and dream to have and act as a part of Aku. And the best part? You''ll gain a fortune of GP points if you can kill them." "And as a bonus, you will receive even more GP points if you can clear a verse with a higher rating. Keep that in mind when choosing your verse. The verse you will be transported to will have the original timeline events but with major and minor differences because of Aku. Think of it like a game of Clue, but instead of Colonel Mustard, it''s the Aku. If you die, your stats and GP points will remain unaffected, but you will lose one of your abilities at random upon returning. It will be absorbed by whatever killed you, so be careful not to make your enemies too powerful. Your death has consequences." The system added one more rule, "And one more thing, if you kill yourself trying to be a smartass, well, tough luck. You will lose 10,000 GP points, plus one of your abilities will be sealed unless you pour in 10,000 GP points to unlock it again." It continued, "You can go to any verse, but be warned, once you choose one, you''ll be stuck there unless you die." After hearing what the system had to say, Hamza was left with a number of questions that he needed to consider before making his final decision. One thing that particularly bothered him was the possibility of one of the verses being devoured if he failed. He needed to know what the implications of this would be on his journey and if it would make it impossible to clear the journey if that happened. With a serious tone, Hamza asked the system to provide him with detailed answers so that he could make an informed decision. He also had a hunch that these verses had a correlation with contamination rating and wanted to clear any doubts he had. The sentient system gave an eerie sneer sound and complimented Hamza by saying, "You''re smart, I''ll give you that. To answer your question, it would be nigh impossible, but it is possible. The thing is as I said it is borderline impossible. Only the insane would look back to clear it. You can¡¯t let Aku get that kind of advantage no matter what. ¡± The system''s affirmation gave Hamza hope. The sentient system added on ¡°If a verse gets devoured, the contamination rate increases by 20% across the board. The rate of contamination increase also drastically increases. It just gives Aku too much power and with that power, he can conquer other verses more easily. If given too much power, it will be unstoppable." The system''s glitches this time had a different rhythm and conveyed dread, making Hamza flinch. The way even the sentient system was scared of what could happen if Aku went unnoticed made Hamza start thinking of a plan. He sat still, his mind racing with a seemingly endless stream of simulations and possibilities. The weight of the task at hand weighed heavily on him and the more he thought about it, the more complex and daunting it became. He stretched his time perception, allowing himself to think at a faster pace, but even then, decades seemed to pass in the blink of an eye. He couldn''t believe how much time it was taking to come up with a plan to clear the verses. There were far too many variables to consider. Observer watched Hamza, sitting frozen like a statue. She couldn''t help but feel a mix of amusement "Hey, you''re thinking too much. Come on, snap out of it!" She said playfully, giving his manikin face a gentle poke. Hamza broke from his concentration, his eyes focusing on her as he let out a small chuckle. "Hey, stop it, Can you give me a break?" He said, a hint of teasing in his voice. Sprayed some on her. ¡°Really?¡± she said in a flat voice. "There are infinite variables to what you''re trying to predict. Just go with the flow, Hammy. I''ll help you navigate the chaos," She said, trying to lighten the mood with a touch of humor. Her words were meant to ease his worries. Hamza sat in silence in a curled-up leg position, deep in thought. After several minutes, a glint of determination shone in his eyes as he came to a decision. He knew exactly where to begin his journey. "Okay, I''ve decided where to start," he announced confidently. Both the observer and the sentient system stared at him in surprise. "Let me guess, DC?" But Hamza shook his head, a hint of annoyance creeping into his voice. "No. Samurai Jack verse first. What kind of person do you take me for? An idiot?" he retorted with sarcasm. "Why Samurai Jack verse first?" The observer asked, confusion etched in her voice. She had thought he would choose the easiest verse to start, to gain some advantages before moving on to more challenging ones. "Of all the places, you choose the most dangerous one. Are you foolish or brave? I can''t tell the difference," the sentient system sneered with a text remark. Hamza rolled his eyes at the system''s remark. "You''ll find out soon enough. And stop belittling me every time, what''s your problem?" He retorted with annoyance. The system replied in a patronizing tone. "Your choice, it''s your funeral either way." The sentient system displayed a game screen of a graveyard with a tombstone bearing his name. A button appeared in the middle, with the text "Do you want to lock the verse?" displayed above it. The marker was set on the Samurai Jack verse. Hamza hesitated for a moment, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and fear. He then pressed the button on the sentient screen display with a firm press. "I hope this works out," he muttered under his breath. The sentient screen started to glow with a bright light, as both Hamza and the observer watched in awe. A gate appeared out of nowhere, its pure white color emanating from it. The sound of the gate opening was like a roar, the air around them was charged with a strange energy. The sentient screen displayed a few texts. ¡°TIMELINE X??????????????????n?????????????????g???????1??????????????????2?????????????????3????????????????????????4???????????????????????. Samurai jack verse. All stats and body loaded¡± It said while squirming with joy, jolting as if its being was being simulated. It felt like it was getting off the process somehow. Hamza only felt uncomfortable as he saw this and backed away a few steps. The gate stood tall with blinding light escaping from it. Hamza was hesitant, but the observer just grabbed his hand and ran into the door like a hungry cat chasing food. ¡°Wha-!¡± Hamza exclaimed as he was flung by the observer like a handheld purse. She dragged him without a care, laughing. ¡°Finally free from my infinite boredom,¡± she said as she jumped into the door, dragging Hamza along the way. "Ahhhhh, stop you idiot!" he screamed as they disappeared into the light, thus the adventure began. Someone just wake me up from this nightmare. Hamza had just a glimmer of false hope that this was a dream as he faded into the light. Chapter 4. The dystopian city Reading on this site? This novel is published elsewhere. Chapter 5: Different timeline Hamza and Observer slipped into the crowd, covering their faces with their clothes to avoid detection by the robot police. They made their way behind a corner of a building where they could catch their breath and regroup. Hamza was gasping for air as he spoke. "Haaaah, haaah. That was close." On the flip side, Observer couldn''t resist exploring her new physical form. Her hands wandered all over, and she couldn''t help but gaze at herself, sporting a grin and erupting into playful giggles. Hamza, however, grew immediately wary, nudging her to concentrate on the task at hand. "Is this your first time experiencing a physical body?" he inquired. "Your behavior''s been kinda odd ever since we got here. We really need to stick to the plan." Though Observer heeded his words, a hint of defiance lingered on her face. "Yeah, it''s my first time, " she retorted with a touch of frustration. "And you''ve got no right to complain. Remember what went down with you back in the Origin Void? I''m adapting here, okay? It''s all so darn new to me, a thrilling and intriguing experience." Hamza let out an exasperated sigh, his eyes rolling. The memories of his own encounter in the Origin Void were vivid, but there was no time to mull over them now. He had to steer Observer''s attention toward the mission. they couldn''t afford to be captured here of all places. the mission would end before it even started "Alright," he conceded. "But we gotta hustle. Getting caught by those robot enforcers again is not on the agenda." As they huddled behind the building, Observer''s expression turned serious, and she nodded in agreement. "Got it," she responded with determination. "Time to roll." Their eyes met briefly, a silent understanding passing between them. They moved along the building hiding their faces with the For Observer, the experience of inhabiting a human body was a fascinating one. Even though she understood the workings of the human anatomy and mind, it was still an entirely new sensation to her. She felt the air fill her lungs as she breathed in, and she was aware of the limitations of her new physical form. The absence of her omnipresent perception of past, present, and future was also a curious sensation, and she found herself struggling to adjust to her new existence. Despite these challenges, she couldn''t deny that the thrill of the experience was exhilarating. As Observer observed her companion, she noticed his gaze darting away from her, embarrassed. She looked down and saw that her jacket button had popped open, exposing her ample breasts. there was only one thing that came to mind and that was the bee came for the honey. Her mischievous smile spread across her face as she caught his eye. "Okay, that''s it," he muttered, still blushing. "We need to change clothes. These aren''t your size, apparently." Observer couldn''t suppress the urge to playfully provoke him, a soft pressure of her chest against his back sending a tingle down her spine. Her fingers danced lightly across his back, tracing a tantalizing path, and her touch lingered, igniting a trail of heat in its wake. Hamzas gaze, once again, darted away, and a rush of both frustration and anticipation surged within her. An inexplicable annoyance simmered; she had half-hoped he''d steal a stolen glance, but he seemed to be steadfastly evading her eyes. Hamza, more of an introvert with just a handful of romantic escapades, found himself caught in a tangled mess of emotions. Relationships had always been a puzzle, the "friend zone" becoming a familiar territory. His interests had gradually drifted toward academia, and his dreams set on the path to becoming a professor. Matters of the heart though remained as clear as mud, like an unsolved problem. Matters of romance often seemed like a hazy realm to him. There had been just one relationship that endured, but it had turned sour, leaving behind the bitter taste of an abusive ex. The scars from that ordeal ran deep, creating an invisible barrier that made the idea of stepping into another relationship an unthinkable proposition. We should get to know each other''s strengths. We can''t run blind in a dangerous place like this "Tell me about your abilities, Observer," Hamza inquired, his curiosity piqued. He hoped that understanding Observer''s powers would prove valuable in certain situations. Observer''s smirk transformed into a more daring expression. "Curious, are we? Well, getting that information from me comes at a price: you''ll have to pay with snuggles," Observer teased, playfully getting up close to Hamza. "Alright," Hamza responded, a bemused furrow in his brow. He couldn''t help but think, She''s persistent, isn''t she? With a mischievous glint in her eye, Observer embraced him, giving him a glimpse of her ability screen. "Take a look. But get ready for some snuggling," she said, leaning in to hug him from behind. As he perused the details of her abilities, a sense of gratitude washed over Hamza. Observer''s presence felt reassuring and he found himself appreciating her even more.

After reading Observer''s abilities, Hamza''s face was expressionless. He couldn''t help but feel a little envious of her limitless abilities. "This is so unfair. You get abilities with no daily limits, no damn side effects. Aside from a few, you have better abilities than me. Mine is freaking limited to GP. It''s like I''m being handicapped right at the beginning." Observer smiled mischievously. "I''m just that great. You should spoil me. I''ll be so much use to you. Also, you have cheat abilities. Stop complaining. They''re probably the most broken ones imaginable." Hamza sighed. "That may be true, but they need extreme preparation to use. The only thing I have is Za World, and even that has a fucking cost. I''m currently sitting on 0 GP points." Observer snuggled closer to him, feeling something she had never felt before. Observer''s heart raced as she watched Hamza, her thoughts a whirlwind of uncertainty. This warmth in my chest, is it what they call love? She pondered, her mind filled with curiosity and apprehension Although Observer was bold in her actions, her human instincts made her a little reserved. She wasn''t quite sure how to navigate this newfound feeling, but she knew she wanted to explore it further. Hamza immediately stood up to defuse the situation with Observer and create some distance between them. Despite her obvious infatuation with him, he could not trust her and felt uncomfortable with her advances. As he walked away from Observer, Hamza''s mind raced with thoughts about how she was a god with a twisted personality that was infatuated with him for some nefarious reason. For the time being it was better if he just avoided the obvious flirting and advances. I just don¡¯t feel comfortable with the obsession she has with me. Observer pouted, her tone filled with playful irritation. "You''re such a tease, Hamza. Can''t you be a bit more affectionate?" Ignoring her, Hamza turned his attention to the system, "Oye, system. What did you do to our portal arrival here? You nearly killed us all," he said furiously. A screen popped out from the system, displaying a few lines of text, "Not my fault. Something messed with our coordinates. Someone opened a portal at nearly the same spot that we were going to open one. So our one opened at twice the height. Otherwise, we would have had a space gate collision." Hamza''s expression shifted to one of astonishment. A realization dawned on him, connecting the dots in his mind. The pieces seemed to fall into place in a way that felt almost too deliberate to be a coincidence. "Wait, I remember something similar happening to Samurai Jack when he traveled into the future. A portal, just like this one, opened in the sky for him," Hamza mused aloud. Before he could fully articulate his thought, both Observer and the system simultaneously interjected, a text popup echoing his unspoken words, completing his sentence as if reading his mind. "He must be near us," they chorused in perfect unison, their synchronized voices creating an eerie yet intriguing atmosphere. Hamza hurriedly looked around, trying to spot any signs of Samurai Jack. The most important person he needed to meet. Seeing a bridge he instantly knew this place. This was where Jack would land. He walked to the center of the bridge that concerted the building and looked down at the landfill below. There was a huge vehicle with giant spiked wheels crushing and destroying the junk below. The bridge was high above the vehicle, and Hamza and Observer watched it approach steadily, both on the lookout for Jack''s appearance. Suddenly, a loud blast was heard in the sky, and a vehicle came crashing down from above, passing right over their heads before exploding after landing behind them. The shockwave knocked them both off their feet, and they quickly scrambled to get back up and assess the situation. As Hamza and the Observer watched, a white figure descended from the sky and landed on the landfill below. They could see that it was humanoid, but the distance made it difficult to discern any details. Suddenly, the sound of a crushing machine filled the air as a landfill crusher approached the figure. To their surprise, the figure quickly climbed onto the crusher and used it to escape the landfill area, making its way to the streets. As they followed the figure from a safe distance, they soon realized that it was none other than Samurai Jack. ¡°I think the best way for us to destroy Aku variants for the time being is to just team up with Jack.¡± observer chimed in. Hamza noted that the situation was playing out similarly to what he had seen in the show, and suggested that they team up with Jack to take down the Aku variants. "Trouble always finds the main character," he mused. However, Hamza had a nagging suspicion that they were not in a different timeline after all. He turned to the system for answers. "Are you sure this is a different timeline? It looks the same as the original." The system replied with a warning, "Don''t count yourself lucky just yet. This is only the beginning, and things could be vastly different from what you know as we move forward." As they watched Jack enter a nearby building, the Observer suggested they follow him. ¡°Should we follow him? Hess going into that building I think.¡± Observer said pointing at Jack direction. Hamza watched as Jack entered a nearby bar, and he debated whether or not to follow him inside. If we don''t meet him now, we might lose him, It would be a pain to find him as he travels the entire world he thought to himself. But it could be dangerous for us to get involved in a fight. We''re just humans, after all. Meanwhile, Observer was humming to herself, combing her hair with her hand and waiting for Hamza to make a decision. She wanted to look her best for him, hoping he would notice her like he had last time. She trusted that He could handle whatever trouble they might face. for her, this was just a date as far as she was concerned. After a moment of hesitation, Hamza made up his mind. "Okay, let''s go. We need to act fast. Observer, could you open a portal down there?" he asked. Observer gave him a nod "How do I look?" but complied and raised her hand. hamza waved his hands saying it was god but he hardly looked at her for a second. "Humph" She was still a little annoyed by his behavior earlier. A portal gateway appeared on the spot, and Hamza and Observer stepped through it, arriving near the entrance to the bar. As they approached the door, the system displayed a message to Hamza. "Very smooth, you idiot," it read. Hamza rolled his eyes and retorted, "I don''t want relationship advice from you of all things." The system responded with a middle finger, which Hamza promptly smacked away from his sight. Without a word, Hamza took Observer''s hand and began dragging her towards the entrance of the bar. It caught her off guard, but she was secretly pleased to be holding hands with him. As they reached the massive door, which towered over them at a height of three meters, three sliders opened up and a pair of eyes appeared, scrutinizing them. "Why are you here?" the voice demanded. Hamza tried to act like a cool gangster, hoping to blend in with the crowd. "Yo, my man. We''re here for a good time and a drink," He said in a hippie voice, trying to sound more convincing than he felt. He was embarrassed, but he kept his emotions in check, determined to see this through. The slider shut down and the door opened diagonally. As they stepped into the club, Hamza and Observer were hit by a wall of sound. The thumping bass of techno beats filled the air, and strange, otherworldly music played in the background. The club was packed with weird and wonderful creatures, ranging from aliens to monsters and robots, all enjoying the raucous party atmosphere. The decor was equally as strange as the patrons, with flashing lights and neon colors illuminating the space. Hanging cages, containing nearly nude dancers with exotic features such as multiple eyes or extra limbs, swayed above the dance floor, adding to the surreal atmosphere. It was clear to Hamza that there were no humans in the club. The world of Samurai Jack was a dystopian future where Aku had conquered the universe and enslaved or killed most of the human population. Humans were a rare commodity, with only a few able to survive as outcasts or rebels fighting against Aku''s rule. Hamza felt a twinge of anxiety as he realized the danger he and Observer were in. They could be surrounded by Aku''s loyal followers and could be recognized as outsiders in an instant. But he pushed the feeling down and focused on his mission: to find and join forces with Samurai Jack was a top priority. Walking along with observer, he was lost in thought, he suddenly heard a whizzing sound and saw a missile hurtling toward him. Before he could react, Observer leaped towards him and pushed him to the ground, shielding him from the impact. As they fell, the missile soared over them and hit someone else. Hamza quickly regained his senses and saw Observer lying on top of him. he could feel two things on his body. his cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but he quickly composed himself, masking his emotions behind a stoic facade. Hamza''s heart raced as he regained his footing. He reached out and gently touched Observer''s arm, his gratitude unspoken yet palpable in the way he looked at her. ¡°You better reward me later,¡± Observer replied with a grin. As they helped each other up, their attention was drawn towards a fierce battle taking place nearby. Tall-necked aliens were fighting against a lone samurai warrior, Jack. Both Hamza and Observer watched in awe as the weapons used in the battle fired in all directions. Hand missiles were launched by the green-looking aliens, but Jack dodged them with ease, expertly slicing off some of their limbs. As the battle raged on, Hamza was in complete shock. He was not expecting this. Nothing like this. Jack appeared to be in tremendous pain, and his appearance was menacing. His left hand was amputated, and his left eye had a deep scar running across his face, with blood oozing from his wounds. Despite his injuries, Jack fought on valiantly, with his torn garment fabric providing the only cover for his wounds. Hamza was at a loss for words as he watched the spectacle unfold. He could hardly believe that he was witnessing Jack in such a state and was battling it out in front of him. He was sure that nothing like this happened in the cannon event, heck nobody was strong eve to even give him such an injury. From gods and monsters to minions and galactic bounty hunters. nothing could do more than a few scrachers. Hamza''s voice trembled with despair as he spoke, taking in the fresh wounds on Jack''s body while he battled against the tall-necked aliens with claws and guns. "He got hurt this badly fighting against Aku?" he asked, disbelief and concern in his tone. It was clear that Jack was struggling, dealing with his injuries while also trying to fend off the attackers. [author] Hello guys. Sorry for not uploading for so long. I was very busy with life[/author] Chapter 6: Club battle? I got my trusty chair right here! Dozens of enemies surrounded Jack, their twisted forms illuminated by the eerie light of the club. Jack struggled to catch his breath, his heart pounding in his chest as he surveyed the carnage around him. His left hand was severed, and a fresh gash across his eye left his vision blurred and his head pounding. With only a few enemies left, Jack fought on with grit and determination, but his wounds were taking their toll. Hamza watched from the sidelines. The shock of seeing Jack''s condition was evident on his face. Hamza had an admiration for Jack as his childhood hero.. seeing him like this made him worried just what was going on. what happened to Jack? Is this the alternate timeline change? A gravely wounded samurai jack? how did Aku even manage to do this? Hamza although was rationalizing his decision. He was visibly hurt looking at his childhood hero struggling like this he would just convince himself that was not the case. "He''s badly wounded," his thought translated to him saying it out loud. "We must take action. If he dies, we''ll never clear the conditions period. " looking at observer he had made up his mind. The MCs were especially very important. He needed them as well as they were just farming tools for Gp points. My abilities were oddly structured in a way that forced me to rely on others. "Observer, help me!" Hamza shouted. "I''m going to distract the aliens and save Jack. use your portal. we just need to distract them" "You owe me " Observer replied her eyes scanning the battlefield for the perfect opportunity. With a flick of her wrist, she used her abilities to open a portal for Hamza. He grabbed an empty chair near him and entered the portal without hesitation. A new portal opened in the air above the battlefield as Hamza emerged with a chair in hand. An enemy was just below him as he descended from a great height, the wind whipping through his hair as he prepared to strike. "One chair combo coming right up!" Hamza yelled as he landed on the enemy. The long-necked alien heard him, but it was too late. With full force, He used the chair, hitting it on the head. The impact of the chair hitting the alien''s head was so powerful that it sent a loud noise to the remaining enemies. It gave Jack the chance to catch his breath and stand back on his feet as every alien got distracted by hamza sudden entry. A commotion piqued the curiosity of a few extraterrestrial onlookers. They hurried over to the scene where one of their buddies lay unconscious, sporting a stylish new red paint job courtesy of Hamza. He was still giving the alien a one-sided wrestling match, just for laughs. "A new human?" one of the aliens remarked, noticing Hamza''s presence. "It''s an ally of this one. GET HIM!" he shouted, one of the aliens growled as they charged at Hamza. A few of the aliens began to run toward Hamza, who had already started running away. "Okay, now''s the time for JoJo''s secret technique," Hamza muttered to himself as he dashed away from the battlefield, with the aliens hot on his heels. Nigerooooo Hamza couldn''t use any abilities as he had zero GP at the moment. He knew he couldn''t fight the aliens, so his goal was to distract them and let Jack handle the rest. Jack''s eyes widened in disbelief as he witnessed a human in their midst for the first time since arriving here. Before he could even get a good look at the newcomer, a sharp claw came hurtling towards him. Reacting on instinct, he drew his sword and parried the attack with a loud clash. "CHING!" The sound of the impact reverberated across the battlefield. Jack seized the opportunity and leaped towards the alien, his sword slicing through the air like a bolt of lightning. The creature barely had time to react before Jack''s blade landed on its flesh, cleaving it open with a sickening squelch. "Slash, ching!" he roared, his voice infused with a mix of adrenaline and triumph. The alien let out a blood-curdling scream and fell to the ground, writhing in agony. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. The other aliens were taken aback by Jack''s display of prowess and momentarily halted their pursuit of Hamza. But soon enough, they regained their composure and resumed their chase. Jack landed on his feet with remarkable poise and grace, the muscles in his legs coiled like springs as he prepared for his next move against the two aliens in front of him. In one swift motion, he unsheathed his sword and sliced both of the alien''s arms clean off, leaving it to scream in agony before finally succumbing to their wounds. With the other aliens still hot on Hamza''s trail, Jack''s senses were heightened, his reflexes sharper than ever. He deftly maneuvered around the dance area, his sword whistling through the air as he dispatched any creature foolish enough to cross his path. "Observer, HELP! I NEED freaking helppp!" he shouted, his voice cracking with the strain of exertion. Observer, looking exhausted and out of breath, used her portal ability to open a path for Hamza. He ran through it, and the portal snapped shut behind him. She was constantly moving and hiding in the crowd to not be attacked. "Where did HE go?" one of the aliens growled, scanning the area for any sign of their prey. Meanwhile, Jack continued to battle the remaining aliens, his sword slicing through the air with a sound like thunder. "Slash, ching!" he roared with each strike, his adrenaline pumping as he took down one alien after another. The music continued to blare through the club, the cage dancers still swaying to the beat as if nothing was amiss. It was as if the entire battle had gone unnoticed, with everyone going about their business as if it were just another night in the club. But for Jack, the wounds he sustained were all too real. He fell to his knees, clutching his bloody right hand, which had been entirely decapitated. The fabric he had wrapped around his left hand was soaked through with blood, turning it into a crimson shroud. His breathing was labored, and he was losing blood fast. It was clear that he needed medical attention, and fast. Hamza emerged from the shadows, his face a mix of sadness and determination. He knelt beside Jack, his eyes scanning the wounds on his body. "You''re wounded badly," he said softly, his voice filled with concern. "I will try to help. Just hang in there." Jack''s breathing was labored, and he was on the verge of losing consciousness. He barely registered Hamza''s words before his eyes closed, and he slumped forward trying to draw his sword. he was still on guard. Hamza cushioned Jack before he fell, holding him gently in his arms. He carried him over to a nearby table, his mind racing as he tried to come up with a plan. "Observer, we need to heal him," Hamza said urgently, his eyes never leaving Jack''s prone form. "Give me a moment to catch my breath," Observer replied, her own breathing heavy and labored. "These abilities take a toll on my body and stamina. i can only do so much." Hamza kept a watchful eye on their surroundings, his grip tightening on the sword-like mechanical thing he had taken from the dead alien. Though no one seemed to be paying them any attention, he couldn''t shake the feeling that danger lurked around every corner. If the timeline is this different, anything could happen I need to be cautious. I need to protect Jack. We can''t let him die like this. A few minutes had passed since Jack''s injury, and Observer was finally ready to use her healing ability on him. Jack was looking weaker than ever, his face pale and his arm bleeding heavily. "I don''t think I can regrow his arm, but I can at least stabilize his condition and restore his eye wound," Observer said, looking at Hamza. She raised her hands, which emitted a soft green glow, and placed them gently on Jack''s face. Observer''s face was stern as she struggled to maintain her ability, but she powered through the pain. The scar that ran through Jack''s face and left eye disappeared, and his eye was completely restored. His bleeding arm also stopped bleeding, and he looked much better than before. Observer''s face twisted in agony, and she held her head, feeling incredibly weak. "I feel so drained," she said in a low voice, pausing between words. Suddenly, Observer fell unconscious and started to fall to the ground. Hamza moved quickly and caught her before she hit the ground. "Thank you," he said, looking at Observer with a warm smile. ==================================================================================== A group of four dogs watched intently from their pod table as they observed the three humans and two dogs. One of the dogs, wearing a monocle, spoke up. "LADS, that''s our group we need. Though two of them look to be unconscious," he said, his monocle glinting in the light. Another dog, a black one, chimed in. "Aye, they look good alright, but they''ll never do it." "Just be careful," the third dog added. The fourth dog interjected, "Why are we even trying this? It will never work. Everyone has rejected us so far. Let''s just go back. We can''t risk Aku finding out about us." The dog wearing the monocle replied confidently, "We''ll see about that. No worries, old friend, everything is looking fine for the moment." With that, the small dog wearing a monocle stood up and made his way across the bar towards the three people. One of them was standing guard, and he approached cautiously, hoping to avoid any conflict. ===================================================================================== Hamza remained alert, keeping a close eye on his surroundings when he heard a voice. The voice sounded polite, yet peculiarly familiar. He scanned his surroundings but saw no one until he looked down and found a cyan-colored dog wearing a monocle and a red bow tie. "Pardon me, fine sir," the dog said in a gentleman''s tone. "I was wondering if you would be so kind as to join us for refreshments with my friends. We have a proposal for you." Hamza was taken aback by the dog''s appearance and could hardly believe his eyes. He remembered watching the show, where such developments occurred only after Jack defeated the aliens. But, Jack was unconscious, and Hamza didn''t know what to make of it. After pondering for a moment, he concluded, It might be okay since they''re harmless, and Jack needs to interact with them. Let''s go with them. We need as few eyes as possible on us. With that, Hamza replied, "I don''t trust you, but my group needs some privacy and help. We can listen to your proposal." Hamza said in a stern voice. The dog smiled as if he scored a jackpot, "Marvelous. But of course," The tie and monocle-wearing dog said, a small smile forming on his lips as he and the two dogs helped carry Jack while he carried Observer on his back. Her body was pressing down on him, and Hamza couldn''t help but notice how heavy she was. "You''re heavy," he said, trying to hold back a chuckle as they made their way towards the table occupied by the four dogs. Observer made a cranky noise as though she was listening, but she did not wake up from her slumber. As they all took their seats, Hamza found himself seated between Jack and Observer. Their heads were down, and Hamza couldn''t help but observe the table they were sitting at. It was like a pod, with a big table in the middle that was not see-through. Once they were all seated, the pod closed, isolating the four dogs and three humans inside. "Please, have a seat and help yourself," the dog said, A silence descended upon them for a few minutes, and Hamza took the opportunity to observe all of them, but his eyes were fixed on one individual more than anyone else. A red dog. Hamza was 100% sure that this dog was never part of the original timeline. "This is the change, huh," Hamza thought, his mind racing with possibilities. "I''m getting a bad feeling from this thing. This is definitely an Akus informant. It has to be." Chapter 7: Unwavering Resolve Hamza''s mind was racing as he tried to make sense of the presence of the fourth dog. It was a detail he couldn''t ignore, and he suspected that Aku had planted a spy in the mining operations to keep him informed of any insurgencies. If that were the case, this new version of Aku was not the bumbling buffoon of the original timeline but a deadly intelligent foe. All four dogs gazed at Hamza in silence, but their expressions were friendly. Hamza returned the smile to show he was also friendly. It was a comical scene in the show, but in this new reality, it felt awkward. Hamza was waiting for Jack and Observer to regain consciousness, both of whose heads rested on his shoulders. [I suppose I should wait for Jack to wake up. He needs to know what''s going on before I tell my story,] Hamza thought to himself. The silence lingered, and Hamza felt the need to break it. "Excuse me," he coughed, "could you please wait until my friends wake up?" "Of course," replied the monocle-wearing dog, his voice carrying a refined accent. "We wanted to speak with the white-robed gentleman over there. He might be able to assist us." "Very well," Hamza replied, relieved to have bought some time. After a few moments, the pod table''s door opened, and a curvaceous bar waitress wearing skimpy clothing walked in, carrying three drinks and a jug on a tray. Hamza couldn''t help but stare at her, but he suppressed his murderous intent. "Your refreshments are here," she announced, placing the tray on the table. "Splendid," The monocle wearing dog replied, grateful for the distraction. The dogs waited for a few moments before starting to drink, lapping up the liquid with their tongues. Hamza couldn''t help but take a few glances at the red dog, but he tried not to be too suspicious. He had a hunch about something, but he couldn''t be sure. Suddenly, an alert popped up on a screen in front of him. It was a system message, and Hamza tried to act casual as he read it, pretending to inspect the drink to avoid arousing suspicion. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [You have made first contact with Jack. 50GP points awarded] [Jack has noted your presence and you have a favorable impression 30GP points] [You have killed an alien robot. 10GP. Just kill some Aku-related people and you might get more. That''s all I wanted to say," the message read, leaving Hamza to wonder about the consequences of such actions. You could get GP for but it depends how they are related to aku. If you kill anything other than that the Gp award is likely to be less than 10.]

[Helping the protagonist, Jack, was an excellent way to earn GP in this world, but the amount of GP earned depended on the contribution made. Both positive and negative favorability gave the same amount of GP. However, if the Observer had made the most significant contribution, she would take away 90% of the GP earned.]

The system then provided a more detailed explanation of something it had not previously mentioned. It clarified that ["1X" was the average stats for a human male, and each time one leveled up, the curve for leveling up would exponentially increase. Consequently, the requirements for earning 1 attribute point would increase drastically after level 10. For instance, at level 10, one would only need one attribute point to level up, but after level 10, it would require significantly more. However, luck and charisma were the only attributes rated from 5 and could not be changed. Gp multiplier will take 10 points to level up.]

Hamza glared at the screen with a contemptuous expression, feeling like he was being mocked by the descriptions of abilities. Despite his frustration, he realized that he had not used his attribute points and began to read their descriptions. "Instead of using them now, I''ll stack them and wait until I reach level 8. I don''t need to use them for the time being," he thought to himself. Meanwhile, the dogs continued to drink from their bowls, but suddenly both the Observer and Jack began to stir, slowly awakening and holding their heads. Jack was the first to open his eyes and look around, confused about his surroundings. "Where am I? What happened?" he asked, his eyes scanning the enclosed area he found himself in. To his surprise, he was sitting beside Hamza, the person who had tried to save him during his battle with the otherworldly creatures of Aku. He waited for an explanation from Hamza, who was also looking at him. The monocle-wearing dog, who had been drinking from his bowl, suddenly became excited and stopped in his tracks. "Finally, the mighty fellow has woken up! Allow me to introduce ourselves," the small dog exclaimed. "What? Talking demon dogs of Aku?" Jack exclaimed as he reached for his sword, ready to take them down. But before he could make a move, Hamza intervened, holding Jack''s arm to stop him. "Calm down. These dogs are not our enemies. I was keeping an eye out for trouble when they approached us and invited us here," Hamza explained. The monocle-wearing dog spoke up, "Hold on a moment, sir. We are by no means henchmen of Aku or have anything to do with him. Would you please listen to us?" Observer had also woken up but felt too tired to move, so she rested her head on Hamza''s shoulder like it was a pillow. Jack looked at the dogs and then turned to Hamza, his face showing confusion. "But how can they speak the language of humans?" he asked. Hamza pointed at the dogs and said, "It''s complicated. They can explain." The monocle-wearing dog cleared his throat and spoke, "How rude of us. Let us introduce ourselves." One by one, the dogs introduced themselves with wacky names like Drefus, Alexander, and more. The fourth dog, Richard, caught Hamza''s attention. He couldn''t help but think that it was a silly name for a dog, but then again, such was the setting of Samurai Jack. Jack was still confused, and he explained that the world was new to him. The monocle dogs, eager to share their knowledge, continued their explanation. They spoke of how Aku had conquered not only their world but also other worlds across the universe, becoming a tyrant. His reign led vile criminals and bounty hunters to come to Earth, as all the ports were open, plundering the planet to oblivion. "It became a cesspool of all kinds of sentient robots, aliens, and monsters, all under the might of Aku to spread dread and malice across the planet," the monocle dog explained. Jack listened intently, trying to comprehend the magnitude of the situation. He had been flung into a world full of chaos and destruction, and it was up to him to put an end to it. The dogs asked which planet they all came from, and Jack replied that they were from Earth. However, he had never seen grand cities like the ones on this planet or flying cars. Hamza nodded in agreement, and the observer remained silent, keenly observing as everything unfolded according to the original timeline. They discussed further how Jack had never seen talking dogs before, and the dogs measured his age with a device, concluding that he might be thousands of years old. Jack realized that it wasn''t a matter of where he was sent but when he was sent. Unbeknownst to most but Hamza, the waitress was listening in on their conversation. She overheard how Jack swore to return to the past and undo Aku''s evil reign. The pod was not completely soundproof, and the conversation could be heard. The dogs explained that they were archaeologists who were trying to dig up their past history. In their efforts, they found rare jewels that became a power source for Aku, and he enslaved the dogs to mine them. They sought Jack''s help to free them so that they could escape and continue excavating their lost glorious history. Jack agreed to help. The group left the table pod, and the waitress hid somewhere. Before they departed for their ship, the dogs asked for their names. "What do you call yourselves?" the monocle-wearing dog asked. ¡°They call me jack¡± jack said. "I''m Hamza, and she is Observer," Hamza said nonchalantly, introducing himself and his companion. Jack felt a little ashamed that he hadn''t thanked them yet. Bowing his head, he spoke, "Thank you for helping me. I cannot express my gratitude in words. I owe my life to you, Hamza and Observer." Hamza was geeking out a little at Jack''s praise. It was something he never imagined would happen, but here he was, being thanked by the great Samurai Jack. "No worries. We thought you needed help, so we helped," Hamza said, peeking around for the waitress. "You even healed my eye and hand. Have you learned magic?" Jack asked, curious about Hamza''s abilities. Observer had a smirk on her face as she looked at Hamza having fun. It was a smug look, as if she were taunting him about how he had been complaining about the journey and was now enjoying it. Hamza could guess what she was thinking. They had that kind of chemistry. Hamza grinned and said, "It''s not magic, just some basic first-aid skills. Observer here is the real magician "I''ll explain everything to you, Jack. Why don''t we go with the dogs with us?" Hamza motioned towards the dogs waiting nearby. "Sure, sounds good," replied Jack. "Hey guys, I need to use the bathroom. I''ll be back in five minutes. Don''t leave without me, okay?" Hamza said as they walked towards the starship port. "We''ll wait for you at the back port," the monocle dog replied. Observer grabbed Hamza''s shirt. "What are you up to?" Hamza explained that he just needed to take care of something quickly. After a brief conversation, Observer said, "Okay, but don''t get lost. I''ll be waiting." The group continued towards the starship port, with Hamza breaking off to take care of his business. As he walked away, his face contorted into a terrifying expression, giving off the vibe of a true villain. Meanwhile, Jack and Observer walked with the dogs. Jack, still adjusting to being around humans, tried to start a conversation. "I''ve only seen humans such as you since arriving here. How did you end up here?" he asked politely, keeping a respectful distance from Observer. As they left the bar, Observer couldn''t help but think of something that would really annoy Hamza. Meanwhile, a three-eyed waitress saw them exit and promptly informed her employer that she needed a break. With a stern expression, the waitress left the bar through the backdoor while wearing a black hood. Unbeknownst to her, Hamza was following her from a distance. He slowly approached her as he passed through a quiet street filled with screens displaying ads featuring Aku. The hooded figure noticed Hamza and quickly attacked him with a dagger. The sound of metal clashing echoed through the empty street as the two faced off. "Howdy," Hamza grinned. "I came to dispose of trash. Akus informant" The hooded figure tried to flee, but Hamza was too quick. He deftly parried her attack, and with a flick of his wrist, flung her backwards. The hooded figure stumbled and fell to the ground, gasping for air. She knew she couldn''t win, but still, she tried to crawl away. Hamza advanced towards her, mechanical sword in hand. His eyes were cold and calculating, "To think I had to spend damn GP points on one of my abilities," he sneered. "But it''s better to dispose of you now than have you become a problem later. Such a pain in the ass." The hooded figure looked up at him, fear in her eyes, but before she could say a word, Hamza threw his mechanical sword at her with all his might. The blade whistled through the air and sliced into her stomach with a sickening "WHOOSH." Blood gushed from the wound, and the hooded figure screamed in agony. Hamza slowly walked towards her. He raised his sword, ready to strike the final blow. But before he could, the hooded figure suddenly lunged at him with a dagger. The two clashed, the sound of metal clashing echoing through the empty streets. Hamza was quick to react, parrying her attack with ease. With a swift motion, he flung her backwards again, leaving her gasping for air on the ground. "¡." He approached her slowly, his eyes burning with contempt and disgust. With a flick of his wrist, he slashed her mouth from the jawline upwards, leaving her head hanging lifelessly from her neck. Hamza stood there for a moment, his heart pounding in his chest. He looked down at his hands, covered in the green blood of his victim. He couldn''t believe what he had just done, and yet he felt a strange sense of satisfaction. He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down, wiping the blood off his hands as best he could. He couldn''t afford to let his emotions get the best of him now, not when there was still so much at stake. "Dammit," he muttered under his breath, his voice laced with anger and frustration. He knew that he had let his emotions get the better of him, and he was angry at himself for it. Finally, he managed to calm himself down, taking a few deep breaths and steadying his nerves. He knew that he needed to get back to the group before they started to worry about him. "Now, let''s hurry back," he said to himself, before turning and running back towards the ship port where the others were waiting. He didn''t want to think about what had just happened, didn''t want to dwell on the violence and bloodshed. All he wanted now was to get as far away from that place as possible, and to put this whole mess behind him. Chapter 8: Aku, The master of darkness Hamza rushed toward the rocket ship, where Observer and Jack eagerly awaited him. He arrived just in the nick of time as the rocket ship was already primed for takeoff. In the front of the ship, there were four seats designated for their canine companions, leaving little room for anyone else. Hamza managed to squeeze himself into the crowded space, determined to carve out a spot for himself. As he boarded the ship, he couldn''t help but notice Observer sitting next to Jack, patting the small space beside her with a sly smile and an inviting gesture. His brow furrowed in confusion, intrigued by her mysterious intentions. She''s definitely plotting something "Look at him, Jack," Observer playfully teased. "He''s so shy. I''m just trying to express my love, and he''s acting all tough." Jack remained silent, his cheeks tinged with embarrassment at being the center of attention. Unable to resist the flirtatious atmosphere, Hamza pinched Observer''s cheek, locking eyes with her, trying to figure out what she was up to behind her playful facade. He reluctantly let go when he realized the awkwardness of the moment Observer grabbed Hamza''s hand, giving off the impression that they were a couple. The rocket ship suddenly took off, blasting off at an incredible speed. Hamza could feel the force pushing him back into his seat. The ship was traveling so fast that Hamza couldn''t believe it. One of the big dogs had his face out, enjoying the strong wind, while Jack looked a bit terrified, holding on tight as he had never experienced such high speed. The ship had already left the city premises, and now they were flying over the vast ocean. He couldn''t help but feel a rush of excitement as they zoomed over the endless sea. In the shadows of the starship port, a figure, barely visible in the darkness, stood motionless, with two red glowing eyes fixed on the departing dog ship. The figure seemed to be cloaked in a translucent membrane that shimmered under the pale light of the stars. Its presence was eerie and unsettling, as if it was watching the events unfold with a sinister intent. Suddenly, the figure dissolved into the darkness, leaving no trace behind.
Meanwhile, in the lair of Aku, the atmosphere was tense and intimidating. The lair was built into a massive rock formation, with jagged edges and sharp crevices that made it look almost otherworldly. The walls were adorned with intricate patterns of fire that gave the place a menacing aura. In the center of the lair, there was an endless pit that seemed to lead to the depths of hell itself. The pit was shrouded in darkness, and any noise that came from it was swallowed by its infinite depths. The aliens that stood on the rocky platform had small figures, wearing suits filled with water to keep them hydrated. Their helmets exposed only their heads, which were also filled with water and sealed shut by their suits ¡°My lord we are the manaqusas of the misconian galaxy. Our water planet has been pillaged and all the oceans that were once our home are gone. We have ventured long and hard to find a planet that is rich enough with an ocean of water to sustain our people and your world is our only last chance of survival¡± Sure, here''s a revised version of your chapter content with additional scene descriptions: The lair trembled as Aku''s black figure rose to the top, ascending towards the ceiling. The walls of the cavern shook, and debris rained down on the group of aliens gathered before him. Aku''s giant form looked down at them with contempt, his glowing eyes flickering with malevolent glee."I know of your circumstance," You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author. Aku boomed, his deep voice echoing through the cavern, "for it is I who has plundered your planet for all its resources." Another alien stepped up, his fists clenched in rage. "You monster-" Before he could say anything more, a black shadow moved at incredible speed, maneuvering on the ground. It was close to the alien when its form changed into a nightmarish entity with countless teeth and deformed limbs. The other aliens recoiled in terror as the creature lunged at the unfortunate alien, tearing him apart with savage bites. The screams of agony were soon silenced as the entity devoured the alien whole, bones and flesh crunching between its teeth. The horrifying scene drove every other alien several meters away from the black entity, trembling with fear and disgust. The entity stopped, and its form changed again. It became like formless water and absorbed everything, cleaning the mess it had made with an eerie efficiency. The entity then reformed its body, its glowing eyes fixed on Aku as it bowed before him. "What is the meaning of this, void?" Aku asked, his voice filled with barely suppressed anger. Aku had enjoyed watching the massacre, but he felt disrespected by the intervention of his spawn. "Master, I could not stomach the disrespect this repulsive thing said. Forgive my impudence in interrupting you, sire," the black figure with red eyes said in a guttural voice, bowing in Aku''s direction. "You are indeed fortunate, Void. If you were not my spawn, and if I did not enjoy this display of loyalty," Aku''s voice filled with malice and had a penetrating quality "You would have felt my wrath, and I would have engulfed you in the pit of hate for all of eternity." Void continued to bow, but his figure and eyes trembled as he shook uncontrollably. He was barely holding his form together. All the aliens looked at this scene in terror. The leader of the group was on his knees, crying, as if it was his son that had been devoured. He mustered his courage to plead for his people. "Please have mercy, my lord. We ask that you forgive my son''s indiscretion and show mercy to our people." Aku thought about it as he stroked his fiery beard. After a few moments of contemplation, he spoke. "No. Except for one, kill every one of their kind. A fine example needs to be made for disrespecting the Great Aku," Aku said, smiling in the eerie gleam. The cavern was silent, except for the leader''s anguished cries. The alien race was facing extinction at the hands of Aku and his spawn, and there was nothing they could do to stop it. A few shadows sprang from Void, and although his figure remained in place. His figures remained motionless, but the shadow parts began to move in a frenzied and gruesome dance as they killed and devoured the alien. The sound of bones crunching and flesh tearing echoed through the void. After finishing their work, the shadows merged back into Void, after cleaning the area, he merged with himself. "My master," Void said, bowing before Aku. "The warrior has returned. I saw him with some other humans leaving the city to help the dogs with their mining operation." Aku''s lair was a dark and ominous place, filled with twisted shadows and flickering torches. Aku stroked his chin thoughtfully as he gazed at the mirror on the wall, which displayed Jack, Hamza, and Observer. "It been countless years since my formidable foe was flung into the future? I gravely wounded him before sending him to the future. How does he look fine?" Aku mused. "Explain," Aku demanded, his eyes narrowing as he turned to Void. "I do not know, master, but I believe these two humans helped the warrior," Void said, his voice trembling slightly with fear. "I only saw them as I was patrolling the ship port, master. You can punish me if you deem it necessary." "No need, Void. You are an indispensable pawn," Aku said, his voice cold and calculating. His eyes narrowed as he considered his plans for the future, a future in which he would reign supreme over all. "I would relish killing you myself warrior, but I need to get stronger. I want power enough that even the sword cannot harm me. I am coming for you, gods," Aku declared, his eyes flashing with a fierce light as he gazed up at the sky. His gaze was filled with a fierce smile of malice, a hunger for power that consumed him utterly. "Void, send one of your brothers to deal with the dogs and warriors as well," Aku commanded, his tone firm and unwavering. Void bowed in acknowledgment, his eyes glowing intensely as he stood still, his body tense with anticipation. His eyes returned to his normal red-glowing self. "It is done, my master," Void replied, his voice respectful but tinged with fear. "I shall devour and obliterate all that exists, my dear foolhardy samurai! Nothing shall ever thwart me again. I shall never again taste the bitter sting of weakness," Aku declared with a malevolent grin, his eyes gleaming with manic intensity. The ceiling of his dark lair parted, revealing the endless night sky above. A chilling breeze swept through the cavernous expanse, bearing the unmistakable scent of dust and decay. Now, prepare to taste the excruciating torment of your suffering and impending demise, young warrior! For you have dared to incur the wrath of the immortal and all-powerful AKUUUU," Aku declared, his voice resonating ominously throughout his lair. His piercing gaze remained fixed upon his magic mirror, which displayed the visages of Jack, Hamza, and Observer. In his eyes burned an intense, malevolent fire as he reveled in the vivid fantasies of the excruciating agony he would soon unleash upon his hapless adversaries. Countless black beetle-like creatures emerged from the depths of Aku''s lair, crawling up the walls and ceiling, filling the air with a dark, menacing presence. Their chittering and hissing filled the air, creating a sinister soundtrack to the unfolding drama. "Ah ha ha ha haaaa!" Aku laughed with pure delight as he released his army to deal with his enemies. The sound of scuttling and skittering filled the air as the creatures swarmed towards their targets, hungry for blood and destruction. Their chitinous shells gleamed in the dim light, their sharp mandibles clicking as they anticipated the feast to come. Chapter 9: The dreadful mining operation The rocket ship swiftly maneuvered over the barren rocky mountain ranges, the engines roaring as it flew low near the ground. The cannons that dotted the terrain shook as the ship passed by them. As they approached the mining operation, the sound of the drill became louder and more insistent, filling the air with a constant hum. In the distance, a huge building-sized drill was busy drilling into the earth''s crust. The surrounding areas were riddled with craters, giving the impression of a massive mining operation. The metallic scent of machinery mixed with the dry smell of dust and earth, created a unique, sharp aroma that permeated the air. A line of dinosaur-like creatures with massive tent mounts could be seen in the distance, their heavy footsteps shaking the ground. The rocket ship soared over a surreal landscape, where alien trees with bulbous leaves stretched towards the sky. These peculiar arboreal giants cast eerie shadows as they loomed over the rocky terrain As they approached the center of the mining operation, countless craters dotted the landscape. The ship finally landed, the ground trembling beneath it. Everyone exited onto the site, the ground feeling rocky and uneven underfoot. Jack stumbled as he got off the ship, but he managed to catch himself before falling to the ground. Hamza helped the observer down from the ship. The monocle-wearing dog asked, "Oh dear, Sir Jack, are you feeling unwell?" "No," Jack replied. "I just prefer to walk." After helping Observer, Hamza assisted Jack, which earned him a measly 1 GP point that amused him as a joke. Even doing useless things around Jack was beneficial to him. ¡°Ah, the rocket ship and such. Sorry, old-timer. This is our mining operation,¡± the monocle-wearing dog said. Jack and Hamza surveyed their surroundings. The air was thick with the sound of drilling, a low rumble that reverberated through the ground, and the smell of sulfur, emanating from the machines used by the small dogs. The dogs worked tirelessly to dig up ruby-like sharp pointy big jewels the size of baseball bats. Some used pickaxes, while others used strange machines that emitted a high-pitched whine. The ruby-like objects were scattered all over the place, glittering in the bright sun like precious gems. Many dogs watched as everyone started to survey the area led by the monocle-wearing dog. The city had an interesting infrastructure, with crumbling buildings and rusted metal structures. Very old, broken, and torn billboards and huge ad walls with dogs in them were scattered in the worn and torn city, with some statues of dogs as well. The dogs nearly had a similar society to humans of the modern era. Suddenly, a blast occurred, sending a shockwave through the ground, causing the earth to tremble beneath their feet, and debris to rain down around them. A few dogs glared at Observer, who had a shocked expression on her face as she backed away from a machine that was now engulfed in flames. The acrid smell of smoke filled the air, and Hamza''s attention was diverted as he and others rushed over to see what had happened. ¡°Quite a feisty one you got there,¡± the monocle-wearing dog said with a hint of amusement. Hamza facepalmed and ran towards Observer. ¡°My machine. How will we dig the rest of sector B area?¡± an old dog said, his voice strained and weak. ¡°Oops, sorry,¡± Observer said, her face blank. Hamza tried to diffuse the situation and promised to take care of her so that she wouldn''t mess anything else up. He gave his assurance that he would free them. The author''s content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. ¡°Can¡¯t you just stay in place for a few minutes? You''re like a cat. No more wandering off for you,¡± Hamza said, as he dragged her by the collar of her shirt. As he was dragging her, she twiddled her thumbs, feeling guilty for causing trouble. Hamza sighed and held her hand to calm her down. Observer had a smile that was barely noticeable. They regrouped with Jack and the monocle-wearing dog, who was explaining their plan to excavate the area and uncover their history. The dogs continued to work tirelessly, some using pickaxes while others operated strange machines. The sound of heavy machinery and grunts of exertion filled the air. The ruby-like jewels they were excavating were scattered everywhere, glinting in the dim light. As they passed the large machines with their unique and fascinating designs, the dog continued to share his story with the group. He explained how he and his people were enslaved by Aku, forced to work tirelessly in order to mine precious jewels for their cruel master. As they walked, they saw smaller dogs working with heavy breaths. Some of them were old and feeble, and it was clear that they were close to death. Jack was filled with fury at the sight, while Hamza noticed a few of the dogs had just died, being carried away by their comrades. The monocle dog spoke with a note of defeat, "And if Aku''s unreasonable quotas aren''t met, terrible punishments are exacted upon us." As they continued on their journey, Jack was shocked and angered beyond his limit at the scene that lay before him. There were huge, pointy poles where several bodies were impaled, blood gushing from their wounds as they were made an example of being skewered. The image brought back painful memories of Aku''s cruelty from Jack''s past. Near the poles, two black figures stood with whips, mercilessly beating some dogs to a bloody pulp as their quotas were not met. Their skin was covered in scars, and blood was everywhere. The dogs begged pitifully to be spared, but their pleas fell on deaf ears. The scene was appalling and atrocious to watch, Observer wasn¡¯t bothered and Hamza was somewhat disturbed, but not as much as Jack. Jack hand trembled as he reached for his he suddenly put his hand on his sword sheath and hilt ready to act.As they drew closer near the area the air was thick with the sickly sweet smell of blood, mixed with the acrid stench of fear and desperation. The sound of flesh being struck by the whip echoed off the barren terrain with cliffs, and the sight of the helpless dogs being beaten filled Jack with a sense of righteous anger. He stepped forward, his sword drawn, ready to defend the helpless creatures and take down their cruel oppressors. Hamza stopped him and said. ¡°Jack let me. You don¡¯t need to sully your hand with scum like these¡± Hamza said with a glare at the two dark robbed being from a distance. The dogs just were silent and the red color dog was keenly observing everything. Jack slowly let his grip loose. ¡°Please. You don¡¯t need to. This is not your fight. You helped me far too much. I will repay your kindness¡± With a dismissive gesture, he said to Jack with a smile. ¡°Don¡¯t worry. Just think of me as a friend along the ride. You don¡¯t owe me anything okay¡± Hamza pointed at Jack''s dismembered hand. ¡°You¡¯re hurt as well so just rest up. We want to stop Akus as well¡± Unease gnawed at Jack''s senses, but he couldn''t ignore the wisdom in Hamza''s words. His fingers tingled with the memory of his recent injuries, a constant reminder of his vulnerability He was still not fully healed even though these two kind people helped him. Nods "Be careful" Hamza just smiled a little with confidence and a nod. ¡°Are you sure? Your weak you know that right?¡± observer asked with a little concern ¡°Just watch me,¡± he said winking at observer. "Observer astutely connected the dots, recognizing the source of Hamza''s newfound confidence. A subtle thrill coursed through her, intrigued by his question So did he use his ability? I wonder. Hamza hurried over to the mine cart and grabbed a large crystal as long as Jack''s sword. He asked the dogs for a strong fabric and wrapped it around the crystal to create a makeshift sword. It wasn''t perfect, but it would have to do for the moment. With a glare of hatred, he approached the two hooded minions of Aku. The display of cruelty reminded him of his own experiences with bullying in school, where he had been suspended multiple times for fighting back against those who bothered him. Seeing someone helpless being beaten up like this infuriated him. Jack looked worried as he saw Hamza now getting close to engaging. Observer just consoled Jack that it was not a problem as she looked amused and delighted to see him riled up. It excited her in a way. ¡°Don¡¯t worry. My husband is not so weak. He just doesn¡¯t use his power because there are big drawbacks but¡± She said with a smile. Her sapphire eyes seemed to shimmer with a faint neon glow ¡°Nobody can mess with him when he¡¯s serious and actually uses his abilities. let''s see¡± Jack felt a wave of relief wash over him upon hearing Observer''s words. He knew Observer had rambled on about their relationship back at the ship dock when he was gone just for her amusement. Meanwhile, Hamza had walked a fair distance away, but he still heard Observer''s teasing remark. He felt a twinge of embarrassment, but he didn''t mind it too much. He was now standing near the two hooded minions, a makeshift crimson shining jewel sword on his shoulder. The minion looked cautious but did not engage. As one of the hooded minions cautiously stepped forward to confront Hamza, his words hung in the air, unspoken. In a swift, fluid motion, Hamza lunged with the shimmering crimson jewel sword, catching his foe off guard. "Sup?" He said, lunging at lightning speed with his sword in hand. The minion was caught off guard, and before he could even react, Hamza swung, cutting off the minion''s arm cleanly. Green blood gushed out, splashing everywhere, including Hamza''s face. The minion screamed in agony Chapter 10: First infected monsters Hamza''s devilish grin sent shivers down the spine of the remaining minion, who felt as though death itself was standing before him. His feet shook uncontrollably as he took hesitant steps backward, unable to escape the menacing figure advancing toward him. The minion pulled out a strange flute-like instrument and tried to blow it, hoping for a miracle. However, Hamza paid him no mind, for this was precisely his plan all along. He knew that a mining operation of this size could not be managed by just two minions. Now since minions are looking and supervising it would be stupid to assume that there would be only 2. He hoped this was a bluff, but his frustration mounted as he rubbed his forehead, knowing that this situation was getting convoluted and chaotic by the hour. ¡°In the original timeline there is nothing like. No minions in this mining operation. This is too different and getting convoluted and chaotic by the hour.¡± He said under his breath. The hooded minion blew on the strange instrument, and all the dogs in the area immediately froze in their tracks. The entire mining operation came to a dead silence, and even their heartbeats could not be heard. Hamza stood on a small cliff, looking down at the ominous silence that engulfed the area. Hamza could feel his frustration mounting. "Well, this is just fantastic," he thought to himself. "I knew that expecting to be less problem was just a wishful thing. A domino butterfly effect of this magnitude will destroy any future events I know of. I expected this but fuck my hunches for being right.¡± ¡°Change of plans fuck it.¡± Hamza said Hamza heaved a sigh as the system acknowledged his remarks and activated a display screen in front of him, bearing text. "A plan? Why didn''t you share it? Not that I expected anything useful from you, but still," he grumbled. "Oh, look who finally decided to grace us with their useless existence. How delightful," he added sarcastically. The system responded with a message, "Are you still mad about that? Don''t blame me for your incompetence. I did what I could." "Of course, I''m mad. It''s like you gave me a pair of roller skates to cross a minefield. Useless abilities with so many drawbacks and barely enough GP to make use of them," Hamza replied, rolling his eyes. "I don''t like you," he muttered in annoyance. "That we can agree on. Also, you''ve got company," the system retorted. As the silence was lifted by the conversation, a swirling sound grew louder, emanating from the dead bodies of the dogs impaled on poles near their general area. The corpses began to morph, their entire bodies turning black as a thick, black goo oozed from their mouths. With a terrifying screech, they appeared to be spawned from hell itself. The spikes that had impaled them broke "Cracks, Cracks!" The sound echoed as five black deformed corpses, oozing black goo, landed on their feet. They screeched a terrifying howl and looked in the direction of the minions'' flute. These creatures were huge, almost eight feet tall, and had very slim body-like figures, with a pair of oddly sized claws that were feet long, and mouths with elongated teeth. They had unusual characteristics like spikes on their backs, and some had three heads or three tails. These monsters started to rush abysmally, possessed towards Hamza and the minion. As the minion attacked with his weapon as Hamza was distracted watching the terrifying monsters approaching. He dodged and leapt. ¡°SLASH¡± Slashing with his crimson jewel blade, covered in green blood, the minion was carved horizontally and died in the process. "This was not a good idea, but I don''t have a choice," Hamza muttered. With his crimson jewel blade that had green blood on it. He waved it to the ground to clean it of blood, and using both 2 hands replicated Jack''s battle stance as the monsters approached, just a few feet away. Jack and Observer, as well as the dogs hiding, watched in worry. Jack noticed Hamza''s stance resembled his, but he didn''t think too much of it. Observer looked a little worried, and Jack gave her a questioning look, wondering if they should intervene. She smiled a little and said. "Don''t worry, he can handle this," Observer reassured Jack, though her expression belied her true feelings. "Just in case, I''ll open a portal to the area if things get too dangerous." The monsters lunged forward, attacking as one. One of them leaped into the air, its massive body hurtling towards Hamza with terrifying ferocity. Another attacked from the front, while three more closed in from behind. With lightning-fast reflexes, Hamza raised his jewel crimson sword, blocking the attack of the lunging monster that aimed to bite off his head. He struggled to keep his distance from the monsters, dodging their attacks with deft swordsmanship. With a powerful swing and a mighty jump back, Hamza managed to evade the monsters that attempted to attack him from above and in front. But just as he landed on his feet, a super elongated arm smashed into him from behind, throwing him against the Cliffside. Caught off guard, Hamza grunted as he sliced off the black goo-like arm with all his strength. Readjusting his posture, Hamza''s back was now against the wall, and the monsters closed in on him from every angle. He dodged the four monsters'' attacks, barely avoiding their claws and teeth, as he suffered scratches and bruises. The cliff shook and was carved inside by the monsters'' relentless onslaught. ¡°FUCK. TIME OUT, DAMMIT, TIME OUT!" Hamza shouted, his voice straining with the effort. The fight was so intense that a small dust cloud shrouded the area, making it difficult to see. Using his camouflage, Hamza hid as the monsters stopped their rampage, tracking the sounds around them. Suddenly, with a powerful jump, he landed on the shoulder of one of the monsters. A bloody scar ran along his face, the damage he had just sustained. With an annoyed grunt, Hamza raised his sword with full force, ready to strike again. ¡°Slash¡± The head of one of the monsters hit the ground with a resounding thud, cleanly decapitated from its body. Hamza immediately dove for cover in a cloud of dust, holding his breath to stay hidden in complete silence. ¡°Thud¡± The two other monsters near him attacked the spot where the sound was made, impaling the dead monster''s standing corpse before it even hit the ground. Hamza waited for the perfect opportunity to strike, and when the monsters turned their backs on him, he attacked from their blind spot. With a swift cut, he severed one of the monster''s legs before jumping onto its knees and delivering a full-power horizontal cut to the neck. He was in the air and within striking distance of the other monster''s neck area. With a scowl expression. ¡°HAAAA!¡± ¡°SLASH¡± With a deft movement, he sliced through both monsters'' necks simultaneously with another attack. Before he could make his escape, however, one of the monsters slashed his back with a claw, while the other delivered a blow to his gut. They had pinpointed his location. The pain from the deep wound was excruciating, and he screamed as he was sent flying across the rocky terrain. Skidding to a halt, he struggled to stand up as the two monsters emerged from the dust cloud, closing in closely. Gripping his crimson sword tightly, he blocked a stab attack from the monster''s claw. Despite the force of the attack, his sword, adorned with a glittering crimson jewel, held strong. Hamza was launched far back from the monster''s momentum The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. With an acrobatic flip backward, Hamza gained some distance and waited, his stern expression completely focused on the two remaining monsters approaching him. He unsheathed the sword just letting the tip out and prepared to use a technique jack used. A fast and unavoidable attack that was deadly in close range. As the monsters ran towards him to strike, Hamza held his ground, waiting for the perfect moment. With only a foot of distance between them, the monsters'' claws were nearly on his face and neck. Hamza remained calm, and with lightning-fast reflexes, he struck. ¡°CHING, SLASH!¡± All five attacking limbs were instantly decapitated as he continued in a circular motion, jumping and delivering a final horizontal attack. ¡°SLASH!¡± A portal opened, and Observer, Jack, and the dogs rushed to help him. Observer cleaned his bloody face with a piece of cloth, tending to the bruises and small fresh scar. Jack looked at him with an apologetic expression, realizing that he did not want to see them hurt over his selfish ambitions to save the dogs. Despite everything, Jack was still very thankful to them. Hamza''s chest heaved with deep, ragged breaths as he released his weapon and sank to his knees, his heart pounding in his chest at a pace he had never experienced before. The metallic tang of blood filled his mouth as he struggled to catch his breath. As he gasped for air, a portal opened, and Observer, Jack, and the dogs rushed to his side. Observer swiftly cleaned the blood from his face with a piece of cloth, revealing bruises and a fresh, small scar. Jack''s expression was apologetic, and Hamza could sense his gratitude mixed with guilt. He knew that Jack did not want to see them hurt over his selfish ambitions to save the dogs. "Are you okay? How badly are you hurt?" Observer asked with concern etched on her face. "Let me catch my breath first," Hamza replied, his voice hoarse with exhaustion. As he took deep, calming breaths, Observer began to heal his injuries slowly using her abilities. Hamza''s wounds began to close, and the pain began to ease. It took time, but after an hour, he was feeling a lot better. Meanwhile, Jack and the dogs were exploring the area, searching for any clues that could lead them closer to their objective. Hamza''s eyes shifted to the broken building around him, noticing the peeling wallpaper, broken furniture, and shattered glass littering the floor. The stench of decay and dust filled his nostrils, making him feel uneasy. He could feel the pain in his chest slowly fading as Observer''s healing power did its work, but he still felt weak and drained. As he sat up, his gaze landed on the game screen, which showed his meager reward for risking his life. Hamza looked at observer as she was bandaging his chest with a blank face. He then looked at this game screen blankly with his lifeless eyes. ¡°I nearly got sliced in half and killed 5 monsters and all I get is 500Gp points¡± ¡°I even spent 70GP on the ability. Well, at least I didn¡¯t die.¡± Observer was listening to him and bandaged him completely. With a small chuckle Observer finished bandaging his chest and she gave a peck on his cheek and giggled but Hamza held her back before she did anything more. He was not in the mood for her antics. Her clingy obsession was annoying. For all, he knew he could not trust this god no matter what. It was ominous. Not now at least until he learns more about her. ¡°Meanie. Don¡¯t sweat the small stuff¡± she said. He got up and walked towards Jack, who was busy seeing the layout of the area. He saw Jack devising a plan in the open area ground on a piece of paper mapping the buildings. Hamza knew exactly why. He looked at the group of dogs with Jack as one of the red dog stared at him for a moment. The next phase of the battle was now going to start. Chapter 11: Planning For the Big Siege Hamza and Observer strode purposefully towards Jack through the bustling nighttime chaos. Hamza''s sharp eyes darted around, taking in the whirlwind of activity as they closed in on their target. His body felt surprisingly refreshed, thanks to Observer''s unique abilities. He rotated his arms, savoring the newfound vigor that her healing touch had granted him. "Observer has quite the useful ability," Hamza mused to himself, his thoughts tinged with suspicion. "Almost like a deliberate ploy to make me care." Observer, on the other hand, couldn''t contain her glee. She had just experienced her first kiss, even if it was just on the cheek, and to her, it felt monumental. Her sapphire eyes glowed with an eerie neon brilliance, the circuit-like nerves around her irises lending her gaze a mesmerizing quality. But her mind was anything but innocent. As they walked, her thoughts danced with pure desire, her gaze turning into a tangled mess of lines. "I can''t wait to fuck him, to feel him inside me. I wonder what it will be like," she thought, struggling to suppress her unusual and comically triumphant laughter, along with the possessiveness that was bubbling up inside her. Hamza couldn''t help but notice Observer''s strange behavior and a jolt of fear shot through him when their eyes met. It was a chilling moment, and he felt a tinge of dread that she might assault him. Maintaining his poker face, he quickened his pace. "Dammit, why did I let her kiss me?" Hamza wondered, panic in his eyes. "An elder god like her has zero restraint. This is going to be one hell of a headache to deal with." Meanwhile, Jack was devising a plan with the four dogs overseeing the mining operation. ================================================================================== Several hours ago¡ Right after Hamza fought off the minions, he took a break to tend to his wounds and regain his strength alongside observer. In the meantime, Jack took the opportunity to scout the ruined city. One of the dogs on watch duty spotted an army of beetle battle droids making their way toward them. He rushed to inform the others, including Jack. "Alert! Aku droids are approaching from the south. We''re doomed!" the small dog exclaimed, his voice trembling with fear. Without stalling Jack and the four dogs set out to find the highest building in the area, hoping to gain a vantage point to get a better understanding of the situation. They climbed a worn-down skyscraper and gazed into the distance from above. In the distance, they saw a black veil rapidly consuming everything like cliffs in its path as it drew closer. Jack furrowed his brows in confusion, trying to make sense of what he was seeing. One of the dogs grabbed a pair of binoculars and took a closer look. "I say, there are armies of those Aku destroyer drones. How are you going to defeat them? They''ll be here by sunrise," the monocle-wearing dog said, his posh accent clashing with the dire situation at hand. Thousands upon thousands of Aku destroyer beetle droids were approaching fast. If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. Jack''s expression turned serious as he addressed the group, "I''ll need weapons and support from everyone here." He glanced in the direction of Hamza and Observer, then winced as he remembered his missing arm, feeling the phantom pain of his limb. The approaching swarm of droids resembled a horde of insects with razor-sharp pincers and glowing red eyes. They advanced with a relentless determination, the sound of their clanking metal bodies echoing through the fields. The air was thick with the acrid smell of burning rubber and electrical discharge from the droids'' weapons. Many looked like actual massive bugs having the same appearance. Although he despised the thought of asking for additional help, Jack was not in his best shape. It was difficult to adjust to the loss of his left hand. As night fell, he tore up some paper hanging from a machine and used stones to secure it in place. Surveying the area with a keen eye, he searched for anything he could use against the approaching army. He noticed several machines, some resembling catapults with cannons, and numerous oil barrels. Broken machinery and a plethora of jewels were also present. After observing how Hamza used the jewels, Jack grinned, realizing he had a plan in mind that just might be of help. The monocle-wearing dog approached him with a smile, offering a pen to write with. Jack began to write, but the ink did not spread. Perplexed, he looked at the pen, unsure of what he had done wrong. The dog took the pen and clicked the tip, revealing the nib, which he gave back to Jack. Jack scrutinized the nib and began to draw. He meticulously drew a map of the entire area, including the broken pathways and buildings, based on what he had observed from his vantage point earlier. Once the map was finished, he explained to the dogs what they needed to do. Soon, all the dogs in the mining area were united for one purpose. Using the strange and highly advanced machinery, they started to implement Jack''s plan. They used the terrain and large arched cliffs to position the catapults facing upwards. Using a flying machine with a vacuum nose, they carried massive boulders to arm the catapult machine arms. Jack marked an area with his sword, and a dog-operated machine dug a trench-like structure stretching to the edges of the general area from one point to another. They placed a few oval-shaped, compact machines with massive thrust exhausts on the small cliffs, as instructed by Jack. In the present time, Hamza witnessed the events unfolding in the general area, recalling everything vividly as he watched Jack''s plan come to fruition. It was a surreal experience, and he couldn''t help but laugh a little at some of the machines'' goofy designs. From my perspective, it''s still like watching a cartoon show, but now I''m living in it, which is not what I wanted, to be honest he thought as he passed by one of the machines and approached Jack. Jack was trying to make a bow, but he was struggling a little. Although Hamza wasn''t the type to help someone out of the goodness of his heart. Yet his body betrayed his actions. I wonder what kind of past this version of Jack has. he just was cautious and he didn''t trust anyone. loneliness had a toll on his psyche before all this. but this was different, he knew his survival was reliant on Jack and he wanted to be friends with Jack. offered his assistance to become closer to him. He helped Jack tie the strings on the bow. Jack''s smile was evident as he looked at Hamza helping him. A notification popped up. [5 GP points awarded for helping Jack. Your likeness with Jack is reaching the maximum level.] It was a makeshift way for Hamza to earn minuscule amounts of GP points, which he desperately needed at the moment. He helped Jack attach the rope-like wire he pulled from a machine to make the bow. Jack had already made arrows and handed one to Hamza with a smile. Knowing what he wanted, Hamza used the bow in front of him. He lined up a shot, spotting a small piece of rock in the direction Jack was looking. As Jack gave him a nod, Hamza had the arrow ready and shot it. CHING! The arrow hit the rock formation, destroying it and nearly piercing through another rock formation. "I''m just too good," Hamza said, smiling as Observer stared at him with a look of disbelief. Jack looked satisfied with the comment. "Your skill is unquestionably great. I''ve been meaning to ask," Jack hesitated to talk, trying to find a suitable way to ask for help. He didn''t want to drag them into his fight, but he felt like he couldn''t win with one hand missing. jack bowed his head and Hamza stopped him from doing it. He didnt want to make him feel even more down. I need to support him. no matter what it takes. "Yeah, we need to talk. Let''s discuss it," Hamza looked around and saw the red dog staring at him with their eyes locked for a moment. The red dog quickly averted their eyes and got back to work. Hamza''s brows furrowed as his blue eyes took on a menacing, stern look. "Jack, come with us for a few minutes," he said, nodding to Observer, who made a portal. Jack looked confused, wondering why, but he complied. Both of them had his utmost trust. They were the ones who had saved him, and he didn''t think they would do something to harm him. They had no reason to. He followed them into the portal as it closed behind them. As Hamza and Observer departed, the crimson-hued canine abandoned its task with urgency. Swiftly, it navigated the labyrinthine streets of the night, finally reaching a concealed nook beside a looming building. In this hidden recess, shrouded by darkness, the dog retrieved its communicator¡ªa device resembling a simple button. "They are making a move," the red dog said, their voice filled with urgency. "Tell me everything," came the cold and chilling response of a woman on the other end. Chapter 12: Plans in motion In the dark, grim night casted a somber blanket over the worn-down city, enveloping it in a deafening silence. The preparations had been made with the plan that Jack had implemented. Several machines and areas were ready and waiting. The dogs now waited for the dawn to come, hoping that the three warriors would protect them in this upcoming peril. They were hiding in the only building that was at the center of the area with no sides to enter other than the front. The building was in the center of the mining operation, obstructed on all sides except for the front opening. The old, weak, and feeble dogs prayed that they could make it alive as the forces of Aku approached, nearing dawn. Their desperation was etched on their faces. Meanwhile, in a dark alley, Richard, the red dog, conversed with a figure using a button-like communicator. "My Lord Gurina, Spawn of the Great Aku, I humbly offer you the details of the matter at hand. I beg your pardon if my words do not meet your expectations, and I hope to avoid incurring your wrath," Richard spoke with a trembling voice, fearing the worst. He proceeded to tell Gurina everything that had happened and what was planned. He spoke about the recent battles in the mining operation and the events that followed. He explained the plan to stop the siege and every detail, speaking truthfully. "Please have mercy on my kin. Please spare us. Please give my son back. I beg of you," Richard pleaded, his voice shaking. He was being very bold, but he had not heard from his son for more than five months. The worry was eating him away, fearing the worst. Richard had done all this because his hand was forced. Had it not been for his circumstances, he would have helped the humans. They were all humble archaeologists before all this. Aku took away his family and made him a spy to relay messages of revolts. His guilt was eating him away because he had no choice in the matter. The air was thick with tension, and the sound of dogs whimpering echoed throughout the building. The darkness of the night only made the situation more ominous. The dogs knew that they were in grave danger, and they prayed that the warriors would come soon to save them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the other hand, on a distant cliffside, a spark started, and swirling energy formed as a change in scenery could be seen. A portal opened, and three figures emerged into the open desert area near the cliffside. Hamza and Jack looked around as the portal behind them closed. Observer was smelling her clothes as she tagged along beside them. She felt intrigued by the smell; it was a new experience for her. "Wow, I have a body odor, huh? It''s not bad, is it? I can''t tell by the smell," she sniffed herself, thinking. As she was doing her own thing, her eyes met with both Jack and Observer, who caught a glimpse of her. Hamza and Jack''s brows furrowed as their gaze caught Observer sniffing. They looked around for prying eyes, their eyelids making a confused expression. Looking at each other after watching Observer, Hamza''s face palmed in embarrassment, and Jack just let out a small cough, not even thinking about it. "This idiot! Can''t she pick a time and place to display her antics? My god, why did she say she''s my wife? I need to teach her basic etiquette," Hamza thought as he facepalmed. Hamza pinched Observer''s cheeks widely as she walked without any context, looking at him confused yet oddly turned on observer didn¡¯t know what she did wrong, yet he didn''t say anything as they finally reached a small stone big enough to sit on, led by Hamza. Jack closed his eyes and smiled a little, barely noticeable. The trio sat at a rough-hewn table of stone, with Hamza taking the lead in the conversation. Jack, shrouded in his flowing robes, remained in a meditative pose, readying himself for the impending discussion. "Time for the bullshit mode, here we go," Hamza thought to himself before addressing Jack. "I apologize for bringing you to this location, but it was necessary to avoid any unwanted attention." Jack listened intently, without interrupting. "I believe we have a mole who''s feeding information to Aku. The red dog''s constant scrutiny makes it quite evident," Hamza said in a serious tone. Jack, showing boldness, not convinced replied, "Yes, I''ve noticed the dog''s gaze, but why would he betray his own people? They are already suffering under Aku''s tyranny." Meanwhile, Observer, captivated by the sight of a colorful desert iguana perched on a nearby rock, observed the scene with a sense of awe. "Knowing everything and experiencing it are so different. I''m grateful I didn''t grant my avatar omniscience," she thought to herself, trying to reach out to pet the iguana, only to watch it scamper away as she pouted. Hamza was not surprised by Jack''s response, as he had expected some degree of skepticism from him at the beginning of their journey. "So gullible. I hope this journey doesn''t break him mentally. From what I''ve seen so far, I''m unsure if anything I know will be of use in the future. This version of Aku is a menace. I must aid Jack for my own plans, as well as his safety. I''m convinced that I can''t accomplish much without Jack or the other main characters from other universes, assuming I don''t die before meeting them. For now, my priority is to keep them safe and accompany them," Hamza thought sternly, his expression reflecting his inner thoughts. "Jack, I understand that you''re a kind man who wouldn''t suspect anything like this, but..." Hamza began, leading the conversation forward. Hamza contemplated whether he should reveal his knowledge of the future. "Is it too much of a risk at the moment?" he wondered. "The domino butterfly effect could do more harm than good. I should build trust rather than rely on lying all the time. At least my teaching experience has come in handy," Hamza thought before finally speaking. "Jack, I hope you can trust us. We want to help you destroy Aku for good more than anything. You don¡¯t even need to ask," He said, pausing briefly before continuing. "Just believe me on this one. That dog is a threat to our entire plan to save these dogs from the coming siege of Akus army. We need to take action right now," he said, his blue eyes shining in the moonlight. He was dead serious as he confronted Jack on this topic. He hoped this version of Jack was different from the others. The upcoming battles and threats would be more brutal and unpredictable. As Hamza had a heart-to-heart conversation with Jack, a system message appeared in front of his face. He tried not to frown as he read it. "I don''t want to give Jack the wrong impression," he thought, annoyed by the system''s messages. It was like having a pesky younger brother constantly bugging him, always in his face with the latest lame joke or prank. The system gave him a message in front of his face as he had a heart-to-heart with Jack. [Smooth. At least you¡¯re not dumb.] [Awarded 5 GP points for not being a dumbass] Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. [Awarded 10 GP points for not being a dumbass] Meanwhile, Jack closed his eyes and nodded with his head held a little low. He knew what Hamza meant figuratively. "Very well, but let''s confirm it directly," he said. Hamza nodded in affirmation. It was a reasonable compromise. "Either way, we should deal with the problem here and now before the siege," he thought. As they stood up, Hamza saw Observer pouting on her knees and approached her with a blank expression. "What happened now?" he asked, trying to hide his annoyance. "I saw an iguana, but I couldn''t pet him," Observer replied with sadness in her voice. Hamza sighed as he petted her head, causing Observer to flinch. "She''s so gullible," he thought to himself. "An iguana and pets? Seriously?" "I''ll catch one if I see one. So stop your gloomy attitude," he said with a pause, looking at her. "You''re such high maintenance," Hamza added with a sarcastic tone. Observer''s eyes lit up, "Promise?" she asked eagerly. Hamza''s face turned serious, "No. I can''t make promises I can''t keep. But you can trust me," he said blankly as he helped Observer stand up. She tried to kiss him, but he swiftly used his hands to block her face from even approaching him. Jack was watching the comical scene between the two of them with a small smile. The moon was full and bright, casting a soft, silvery light over the desert landscape. The sand dunes looked like waves frozen in time, their ridges highlighted by the moon''s glow. The stars twinkled above, adding to the enchanting atmosphere. Taking in the beauty of the night. He felt a sense of peace and calmness wash over him, a welcome respite from the chaos and danger that usually surrounded him. "The sorcery they possess is amazing. I''m glad they''re willing to help. I wonder what their history with Aku is, but judging from Hamza''s reaction, it''s not something I should bring up. We all have our own reasons and tragedies that Aku inflicted," Jack thought with a heavy heart, looking at his severed hand and reminiscing about his past. "Jack, I nearly forgot to give you this," Hamza said as he dealt with an annoying observer and approached Jack. He grabbed her arm and dragged her with him, knowing he needed her help. In his hand, Hamza held a small pill, which he showed to Jack on his palm. "This pill can heal your severed hand and make it even better than before. I created it using magic," Hamza said with a grin. Hamza¡¯s stats

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, at the mining operation, the three dogs were on a mission to find Jack and the other humans. They needed to update Jack that all the preparations were complete and that dawn would be upon them in just a few hours. The trenches were dug and laced with sharp, durable crimson jewels. The machines were ready to use as a tactical advantage against the battle destroyer droids, and barrels of oil were strategically placed with triggers to boot. "Say, have you seen the old champ?" the monocle dog asked the other two dogs. "Aye, they went through the magical portal. I think they''ll be here soon," the black dog replied. As they were talking, the red dog, Richard, came from the alleyway of the building, looking very distraught. "Richard, my boy, have you seen Ja--?" the monocle dog paused as the group approached. "Oh, I''m fine. No, I haven''t seen them, lads," Richard said, still looking upset. The moonlight shone brightly on the group and the building, casting eerie shadows on the ground. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A looming, dark figure stood atop the highest cliff near the mining operation, its strands of darkness fluttering in the wind. The figure watched closely, observing everything with a sinister grin illuminated by the moonlight. "So many snacks and toys," the figure said, its voice hollow and reverberating like that of a woman. Chapter 13: Preparations Done Jack appeared bewildered as he observed the pill Hamza held in his palm. After hearing the explanation, he looked at it quizzically. ¡°Are you certain about this?¡± Jack asked Jack took the pill and examined it closely with his eyes. He couldn¡¯t believe that such things existed in the future where people used magic. For him, this future was weird in many ways. Jack pondered for a second. He gazed at Hamza with a mixture of emotions, uncertain how to respond. The two people had been so kind and helpful without any ulterior motives. Jack recollected how many people he had encountered on his journey who had been kind to him. ¡°You can trust me. Just swallow it and wait for it to take effect. At this point, you owe me,¡± Hamza said with a chuckle. Further adding on, Hamza stated, ¡°I expect you to shoulder more burdens. I¡¯m not as skilled a fighter as you believe me to be,¡± while looking at his fist. Hamza had faced the grim reality that he just couldn¡¯t measure up to the originals in terms of skills and the application of those skills. He just could copy the stats of the individuals. experience was something he lacked in spades. nothing could fill that gap. for now, he could only do so much till he got to go to DC. After a brief pause, Hamza continued, ¡°But if I can do anything to assist you, I will. Believe me when I say I need you more than you will ever need little ol¡¯ me,¡± he said with a smile. observer lips curled up with a smile. She liked Hamza¡¯s answer a lot. Jack had no words to express. He humbly bowed at a 90-degree angle to show his gratitude, smiling faintly as he bowed. Words were not necessary. Jack understood their intent and was very grateful for it. I wonder if it works Jack thought to himself. As he was about to put the pill in his mouth, Hamza interjected, ¡°It will be painful, so be prepared for the most excruciating pain,¡± he added. Jack closed his eyes and swallowed the pill. Hamza and the observer watched him with anticipation. Suddenly, Jack clenched his left severed elbow, and his eyes turned red with the intensity of the pain. Hamza nodded to the observer. ¡°I need my pet iguana, you hear me?¡± she exclaimed as she rushed to Jack, who was wobbling in pain on the rocky ground, screaming. ¡°AHHHHHHH!¡± She commenced her healing process. Her hands emitted a white and purplish glow as the energy swirled and enveloped Jack slightly. The observer knelt near Jack, tending to him, while Hamza held onto Jack¡¯s hands and feet to prevent him from making erratic movements. They looked at Jack, who was experiencing unbearable agony. ¡°It won¡¯t ease the pain, but it will restore some of your stamina. I¡¯m sorry, Jack, but it was the only way,¡± Hamza thought as he recalled what had happened a few hours earlier. ======================================================================================== A few hours earlier, Hamza sat with the observer, who was healing him while he used his abilities to check something. Despite the healing process, Hamza felt restless and bored. ¡°I¡¯m getting tired of staying in one place, and Observer¡¯s incessant humming is getting on my nerves,¡± he thought, glancing at her with annoyance. However, the observer persisted in touching him, purposely running her fingers over his chest. ¡°Stop it,¡± Hamza said with a frown, swatting her hands away. ¡°But I need to heal,¡± she pleaded, giving him puppy eyes. Hamza gave her a blank stare before letting out a heavy sigh. ¡°I¡¯ll let her be, as long as she doesn¡¯t cross the line, for now,¡± he thought, allowing her to continue with the healing process.

However, the relief was short-lived as the screen got too close to his retina, causing him to scream in pain. ¡°AAAhhh. Back up. My eyessss. You stupid system,¡± he cursed, covering his eyes. He rubbed them and opened them slowly, finding the screen at a safer distance. Observer seemed unfazed by his outburst as she continued to stare at him, entranced for some reason. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it. ¡°That was so intentional. I''ll tear you apart when we get into the origin void, you damn system,¡± Hamza thought, still irritated. As he looked at the skill he had acquired, Hamza had some bizarre ideas. ¡°The name is amusing, though. Let''s try some stupid ideas,¡± he said, grinning mischievously at the game screen. ¡°First, let''s try the best thing I can think of,¡± he said, his mind racing with possibilities.
Skill Target Detection
Target Detection No matter which places the target goes or where it hides once you touch it or it touches you can perceive its movements and location instantly.
Hamza smiled as he gazed at the skill that had just appeared. "So I can create skills. I''m officially broken now," he exclaimed, bursting into laughter. As he chuckled, the system displayed the GP required for the skill, but there was only one thing written under requirements ¨C an infinity symbol. Hamza''s laughter died down immediately, replaced by confusion. The system popped up with a message: ¡°BAHAHAHA you thought I didn¡¯t foresee your weird ass abusing the skills¡± A text appeared. It was the system. As Hamza looked annoyed by the pop up. He figured as much. Nothing was that easy. ¡°Explain. Why can¡¯t I have skills?¡± ¡°The skills in general are cheats that override the current Omniverse to fit one individual. You don''t have that much power in your avatar form. Also, forget ever getting another skill or something like that. Your avatar is at the near-core limit of what is allowed. Any more and you''ll not only kill your avatar. You''re a smartass trying to pull a fast one." Hamza pondered on this for a few minutes, and a smirk appeared on his face. I have another idea similar to this, but I wonder if it will be nerfed as well. "Alright, let''s try something else. How about a weapon?" he said enthusiastically. He pondered on what type of weapon would be versatile enough for him to use, and after a few moments, an idea struck him.

[Green lantern ring] [Required GP points 10,000,000 points] Hamza''s excitement turned to disappointment when he saw the required GP points for the Green Lantern ring - a whopping 10,000,000 points. "You''ve got to be kidding me. Wtf. Why is it so expensive? How do you expect me to get that much?" he grumbled. "It''s a Green Lantern ring. What did you expect? There are no bargain sales here. You get what you pay for," the system retorted with a text displayed. As Hamza pondered on his situation, he assessed his own abilities and brainstormed ideas to work around the issue. With a smirk, he made some adjustments to his plan, eager to test something new.

¡°This should do let¡¯s see¡± he said as he looked keenly for the estimated cost. [Custom lantern ring] [Required GP points 8,000,000] Examining the estimated cost for his custom lantern ring, Hamza let out a frustrated sigh. "Seriously? How much of a damn pain do you want it to be for me to afford something reasonable?" he grumbled. The system responded with a sarcastic remark, taunting him for his failure. "Keep on dreaming, burh. This weapon alone is a cheat item. Try thinking of something of your noob level. It would suit you better." ¡°Oh yeah, definitely a better system is on my list. Even being useless it would serve me better thank you¡± Hamza said with a smirk ¡°Fuck you,¡± The system said The system retorted with profanity, and Hamza turned his attention to finding a more practical solution. ¡°It¡¯s a bummer but let''s just do something about Jack Arm.¡± He thought. ¡°There is a limit to the restriction as well. So keep that in mind. You can¡¯t abuse the restriction mechanic so don¡¯t even bother.¡± The system added on. However, the system reminded him of the limit to the restriction mechanic and warned him against trying to abuse it. Keeping this in mind, Hamza created an item that would be affordable by adding several limitations and drawbacks. He noticed drawbacks were necessary

With high hopes, Hamza examined the thing he had envisioned and was pleased to see that it was somewhat affordable. "This is such a highway robbery. My damn broken abilities cost less than a fifth of this," he grumbled. The system responded bluntly, [Custom M-pill] [Required GP points 500] ¡°Take it or leave it, buddy¡± Despite the high cost, Hamza considered it a good deal and wished he could give some abilities with Jack using the pill, but he was currently broke. Determined to move forward with his plan, Hamza decided to patronize the system and see if he could get a discount. He couldn''t help but feel satisfied with his purchase, believing it to be a steal. As he clicked the confirmation button. Let¡¯s go forward with this.

A portal-like object expelled the pill that he had envisioned. Hamza picked it up, examining the vibrant colors and spiral design that he found appealing. -=====================-==================-============== Currently, It had been three minutes since Jack ingested the pill, and his screams reverberated through the desert. Three minutes felt like an eternity for jack as he writhed in excruciating pain. His screams echoed through the barren desert, bouncing off the rocks and sand. The sound was deafening, almost otherworldly. He was writhing in agony, and even Hamza winced at the sight. "Come on, Jack, I know you can handle this," Hamza encouraged him. Observer was doing her best to heal Jack somewhat, and slowly but surely, his arm began to reform. Muscles and nerves worked together to create a hand, and every bone was meticulously reformed as the muscle adjusted to its new form. It was hard to look at for both Hamza and Observer waited anxiously for the five minutes to pass. After what felt like hours, the pain began to subside. Jack''s screams turned into ragged gasps as he lay there, drained and exhausted. The silence was almost deafening, and Hamza and Observer let out a collective sigh of relief. Jack hand was fully formed, and he looked at it, remembering the intense battle with Aku that had nearly killed him. It was a close call, but he had emerged victorious. With labored breaths, he managed to say, "It worked." All three of them nodded, taking a breather after the ordeal. Chapter 14: Incoming Siege In the mining operation, close to the central building, a swirling vortex of energy formed, giving birth to a portal. From this portal emerged Hamza, Jack, and the Observer. The moonlight of the night was at its peak, casting a gentle glow on the surroundings. As Hamza and Jack approached the building, they were beckoned from behind by the dogs that had finally tracked them down. The dog with a monocle, expressed his delight as he met Jack and Hamza, who had been absent for an hour without notice. "I¡¯m delighted to have finally found you lads. The preparations are complete. All the traps are set, and now we need to ready you for the imminent threat," informed the monocle-clad dog. Hamza, anxious to address the Aku informant before anything else, spoke up before the conversation could proceed to its conclusion, not wanting any further delay. "Where is the red dog, Richard? We need to have a conversation with him before anything else." Hamza''s eyes and face grew stern, eager to confront this disruption. Time was of the essence as an army was on the brink of invading the mining operation. "Oh, Richard. He is by the trenches. I can guide the way." Hamza subtly nodded to Jack, who reciprocated the gesture. Observer trailed behind them, strolling and taking in the surroundings. The entire mining operation had transformed drastically. Many machines had been repurposed as traps and tools for guerrilla warfare. Strategies involving oil barrels strategically positioned near entry points were in place. Hamza surveyed his surroundings meticulously, finding them as expected. However, one thing troubled him the most Hamza felt a growing sense of urgency, realizing he might have already wasted too much time. Should he have eliminated the red dog earlier? Hamza looked lost in his thoughts as he walked along the others with his pace slowing down and trailing behind the group. I don¡¯t know if he leaked the plans of the defensive traps? But I didn¡¯t have the opportunity also I needed to have a good relationship to manipulate every character. They are my lifeline so I can¡¯t risk it too much. Feeling the weight of worry pressing upon him, Hamza hurried, the concern gnawing at his comfort. His face suddenly was faster than the group. Jack trailed behind at a slower pace, sensing from Hamza''s demeanor that something was amiss. After a few minutes of walking alongside the monocle-wearing dog, the group arrived at the dug trenches. As they neared, an alarming sight came into view. "Is that the excavator we use for digging rocky terrain? Oh my! There shouldn''t be anyone here," the monocle dog exclaimed, worry etched on his face. Everyone was instructed to wait in the central building; no one should have been wandering around the mining operation city area. Inexplicably, a massive machine designed for excavating rocky terrain and mines was actively at work, digging into the trenches filled with massive sharp rubies. The hum of the machine resonated as they approached, nearly obliterating the defense fortification that had been painstakingly built, dislodging the red ruby intrusions cleverly placed in the ground as spiked trench traps, just hours ago. Hamza sensed something was profoundly wrong and sprinted toward the excavator-like machine, propelled by a surge of adrenaline. He made a high leap from the top, hurtling towards the machine below, and skillfully landed on its windshields Crack! Hamza swiftly positioned himself to peer into the compartment, and not to his astonishment, he discovered that it was Richard at the controls of the machine. I knew it The machinery came to an abrupt halt as Richard, the dog, froze in his place. An intruder had landed on the windshield, shattering it. The moonlight revealed the intruder''s blue sapphire eyes, sending shivers down Richard''s spine. Hamza, too, recognized him now as undoubtedly an Aku minion. That¡¯s it. No room for mercy or remorse. Be useful as GP points, you trash Hamza swiftly unsheathed his crimson ruby sword, prepared to strike. Before he could swing, Jack restrained his hand, a firm grip halting the lethal motion. Hamza looked at Jack, puzzled and annoyed. "Why do you stop me, Jack? He''s undoubtedly working with Aku as an informant," Hamza asked, attempting to remain composed. He wanted to test what would transpire if he acted impulsively. Would Jack resent him for it? Hamza had heard Jack land on his feet just moments before he was about to attack. "Let him have the chance to voice his opinion," Jack urged, his eyes reflecting concern as he released Hamza''s hand. Hamza pondered for a moment, a subtle smile forming on his face. At least he trusts me enough to handle this issue calmly. That''s a promising sign. Now, how should I deal with this? Securing the ruby sword in a makeshift sheath strapped to his back, Hamza seized Richard the dog with his right hand and hurled him above the trench like an athlete in a hammer-throw competition. ¡°Jack, I am not inclined to show mercy to a traitor,¡± Hamza declared, fixing his gaze on Jack. Jack nodded, his expression solemn. I need to make Jack a lot more heavy-hearted. Otherwise, we will die in any uncertain situation This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it Hamza knew he needed to burden Jack''s heart more. In their current situation, any hint of uncertainty could be fatal. With this version of Aku seeking blood, Hamza realized he had to gradually change Jack''s attitude. Clearing his mind, he leaped out of the massive trench, with Jack swiftly following suit. Richard, thrown into the rocky terrain, slid for a moment before regaining balance and standing up. The entire group approached Richard, their tension palpable. Jack was the first to voice the burning question, ¡°Why did you do this? The trenches were established for a reason. Why disrupt the line of control here?¡± Surveying the group, Hamza noticed everyone was tense, except Observer, who observed the scene as if it were a zoo. Both Jack and the monocle-wearing dog wore expressions of concern and uncertainty. The sting of betrayal often comes from those within our closest circles, Hamza reflected, his gaze shifting to Observer. She winked at him, blowing a kiss, which was met with a cold, hard stare. Time will reveal what she is truly up to. Finally, Richard, the red dog, found the courage to speak after being questioned. His body trembled, revealing his fear, but he managed to calm himself and began to explain, ¡°Why, you ask? Because Aku will destroy us all. I had no choice. We cannot defy Aku,¡± he said, his eyes locked with the monocle dogs. Hamza, Observer, and Jack watched in silence. ¡°Why did you do it? Why did you recruit these warriors? They are going to betray us! What good is freedom if there is no one left to experience it?¡± the red dog asked. ¡°What are you saying? What future will we have working to death in these mines?¡± the monocle dog was pleased with the mummer the voice from his mouth shuttering as if he felt betrayed. "We still have time! Kill me if you want, but I''ll serve Aku. Join me. We can beg and grovel at great Aku''s feet for mercy. We were never meant to be free!" The red dog''s voice rose, laced with rage and pain, the words tearing at his soul. He had made his choice, and now he had no other way to look. "I''ve heard enough. You leaked all the plans, didn''t you?" Hamza asked, annoyance evident in his voice, his ruby sword sheathed. With a sly smile, the red dog locked eyes with Hamza. "Smart one, eh! You won''t survive this sei-" Ching ¡ª slurp. The red dog''s head went flying from his body, fully decapitated by Hamza''s swift swing. He didn''t wait for the smug remark to conclude. Time was scarce, and the impending army siege was imminent, with forces closing in and dawn approaching. Everyone stood shocked by Hamza''s actions. Jack was furious, his hands gripping Hamza''s shoulders. "What have you done? We could have imprisoned him. Why did you have to kill him? He was defenseless." Hamza shrugged off Jack''s grip, flinging the blood off his ruby sword onto the ground. "He was a lost cause. He''d already made his choice. Didn''t you see? He would have done anything behind our backs to sow further chaos during the siege! Everyone makes a choice, Jack. He chose Aku.¡± "Hamza spoke aloud. He understood that Jack didn''t have it in him to harm defenseless individuals; it was against his very nature. However, Hamza was a different story altogether. To him, they were nothing more than fictional characters - neither good nor bad. This was an opportunity to impart a hard lesson to Jack, a lesson he would learn in his journey, perhaps 50 years from now. "There will be more individuals making these same choices. Will you spare your enemy then, even if they aid Aku? Forget this and let''s hurry; the army of beetle droids is closing in. Let''s go," Hamza stated, turning his back and sheathing his sword. The monocle dog fell to his knees beside the fallen body, mourning the loss of the red dog. Jack didn''t dare to comfort him; instead, he started digging a grave. "I''m sorry. We can bury him. It''s the least we can do," Jack offered, beginning to dig a grave with a shovel he found nearby. Hamza glanced at what was happening and deliberately slowed his pace. Observer quickly caught up to him, walking side by side. "Are you certain this was the right thing to do? Weren''t you supposed to be Jack''s support?" "Jack is too soft right now. I''m not even sure if we''ll survive here. He needs to understand that sometimes you can''t save others, or there''s no chance of redemption. You have to live with the consequences." As Hamza walked, a notification appeared: [You have eliminated an indirect innocent informant of Aku''s minion. 100 GP points] "What?" Hamza stared at the screen, a sense of shock and disbelief washing over him. He had never imagined that Richard, the red dog, was innocent. Why didn''t he tell us? I thought he might have been manipulated, but he was innocent? He halted for a moment, trying to absorb the weight of what he had just read. His hand trembled slightly. He had taken a life, not of a monster, but of an innocent being. He clenched his hand into a fist, stopping the tremors with a stern expression. Observer noticed this and spoke in a mildly amused yet provocative manner. "What? Now you feel guilty? You didn''t think twice before striking him down, huh?" "I made my choice. Whether it was wrong or right. In the end, they are just fictional characters from someone''s imagination. There is no right and wrong in this scenario," Hamza said, attempting to maintain composure. His legs shook, his steps uneven, betraying the facade of calmness. His racing heart only amplified the inner turmoil. He walked on in silence. "Keep telling yourself that if you feel like it helps," Observer remarked, fully aware that Hamza was grappling with guilt. It was both amusing and frustrating to see him evade the truth. There would come a point where he had to accept the shift in his reality. As everyone made their way to the central building in the mining operation area, Jack approached Hamza, who was now sitting on the ground. The monocle-wearing dog looked desolate, his eyes swollen from grief. Yet, despite his sorrow, he bowed slightly. Samurai Jack, embodying grace and respect, inclined his head, hands pressed together in a gesture of deep humility and reverence. As you said, we all have made our own choices," the monocle dog said Jack added with a plea, "Please help us!" Hamza stood up from the ground, dusting off his clothes. "That was the plan. Let''s gear up," Hamza said, a hint of tremor in his voice. We all have made our choices, huh he thought, his heart heavy with the weight of their decisions. Everyone emerged from the central building to tackle one last task. The dogs, loyal companions, assisted Jack, Hamza, and Observer in preparing for the impending siege. The metal plates scattered around were stripped and welded into makeshift armor by the skillful paws of the dogs. In the silent night, the air filled with the symphony of welding and the echoing clang of metal. Both Hamza and Jack were soon strapped in makeshift armor using chords from machines and ropes. "I''ll be the marksman and watch your back," Hamza suggested as he fixed a machine string and tested the bow. Jack, nodding and smiling, continued crafting arrows from the crimson ruby, each one sharp and deadly as he tested it with his fingertips. It was sharp enough to cut even with a light touch.. He also fashioned spears, using the crimson ruby as the spearhead. Observer was busy testing her power of telekinesis, shaping a suit of armor from the pile of rubies in a nearby mine cart. As dawn approached, they were almost ready. Jack acquired a steed from the dogs, armored and ready. He fashioned a flag for the resistance and mounted the steed, a massive six-legged creature with white skin. Jack rode this horse-like steed, fully prepared for battle. Each of them was armed with multiple spears and bows. With a bow in hand, ready for battle, Hamza took a high position on one of the pillars in the mining field. Observer positioned herself near the trenches, her concentration palpable. Jack stood near the traps, ready to trigger them. They awaited the imminent dawn, the anticipation heavy in the air. The sounds of metal reverberated as Hamza observed the vast hills in the distance. The entire terrain seemed to darken as the beetle droid armada approached, the battle now truly beginning. Perched upon a cliff higher than any within the desolate desert plains, a sinister figure reveled in sadistic delight, a burst of chilling laughter echoing through the shadows and the howling wind. "Ahahaha." "Such amusement derived from toying with their emotions. I crave more." The figure leaped from the cliff, descending swiftly and darting from one precipice to another, rapidly approaching the mining operation area. A palpable threat loomed in the air as this malevolent force made its way toward the impending clash, driven by a dark hunger for chaos and torment. Chapter 15: Lets rumble In the heart of the vast desert, a tremor began to ripple through the barren landscape. The sound of echoing clanks grew louder and more insistent, like a metallic heartbeat pulsing through the air. A wave of black swept across the terrain, an army of massive battle droids moving in unison. Their sharp, scythe-like legs moved in a mechanical rhythm, crushing rocks and debris under their sheer weight and volume. Clank-clank-clank. The rhythmic clanking grew louder, the approaching wave of the army drawing closer to the mining operations in the remnants of an old city. Hamza and Jack watched from afar, their fortified mining operation braced for a siege. Traps were set, defenses were up, and anticipation hung heavy in the air. As the droids approached, Hamza¡¯s gaze was drawn to an observer who seemed far too nonchalant about the impending battle. She was covered from head to toe in a chain mail armor of crimson rubies that she had crafted herself. She toyed with additional rubies using her telekinesis, an amazing sight that highlighted both her beauty and her craftiness. Yet something about her casual demeanor bothered Hamza. With a hint of frustration creeping into his voice, he spoke into his walkie-talkie. She¡¯s far too casual about this, It¡¯s as if she doesn¡¯t even care. He thought he should get her to concentrate ¡°Hey, stop playing observer and get ready. They¡¯ll be here any minute now¡ªover,¡± Hamza said, his voice crackling through the walkie-talkie. ¡°Wait, you were watching me? How do I look? ¨Cover,¡± she responded, her attention abruptly shifting as the ruby she had been levitating fell to the ground. She looked towards Hamza, who was perched on a distant sand-dune pillar, observing her like a hawk with a mix of sternness and confusion. With a sly grin, she struck a series of poses, each one more seductive than the last. ¡°Enough! You look good. Just be ready¡ No more games, okay? ¨Cover,¡± Hamza said, his voice firm. She responded with a simple ¡°fine¡± and blew him a kiss. A chuckle escaped from Jack as he listened to their exchange over the walkie-talkie. The light-hearted banter lifted some of the tension that hung heavy in the air ahead of the impending battle. He held the walkie-talkie tighter, a small smile playing on his lips. Just a day ago, he had been alone, battling the immortal demon Aku. The fact that these people were willing to stand by him now when he had been sure he would die from his injuries, was comforting. But it also instilled in him a sense of responsibility. I will not fail them Jack thought to himself. I must live up to their trust and hopes. Jack¡¯s contemplation of his circumstances was abruptly interrupted by the ground shaking beneath him and the ominous sound of the approaching battle droid army. They were just a few meters away from entering the city. Jack quickly relayed his final instructions over the walkie-talkie. ¡°Hamza, Observer, take your positions. Everyone else, take cover,¡± Jack commanded, his voice steady despite the impending chaos. He vaulted over a dog that had been watching the impending siege from a nearby corner and sprinted towards the battlefield. The dog, along with others, retreated to the safety of the central building as planned. Jack mounted his armored six-legged steed and sped off like the wind. The beetle battle droids surged through the dilapidated city streets like a relentless flood, obliterating everything in their path. They moved over every terrain like an unstoppable tidal wave, their path splitting into three roads leading to the mining operation. Each road led to a different path that would eventually converge. Jack, Hamza, and Observer held the three lines of defense. ¡°I¡¯m glad I used my ability. I just hope I don¡¯t run out of time,¡± Hamza mused aloud, glancing at his abilities and stat sheet. He pondered whether to invest his attribute points now or save them for later to multiply his GP.

With a total of 90 GP and 5 attribute points left, Hamza made a hasty decision not to waste any points and to focus. No more distractions or I might lose my life Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, Hamza tried to steady his nerves as the final seconds approached. He had concluded the previous battle with the demonic dogs that his copy ability was irrelevant in the Samurai Jack universe. Jack might be superior in agility and strength, but his greatest strength lay in his unmatched skill and experience¡ªsomething Hamza felt he couldn¡¯t compete with. He thought about what led to the decision The only skill I can rely on is archery. I had a knack for it in my previous life. It¡¯s the one thing I could pride myself on after winning competitions. I can help him¡ I can do this¡ In a split second, Hamza swiftly retrieved his bow from its quiver, notching an arrow adorned with a crimson ruby tip. He aimed at the oil barrels stationed a kilometer away, strategically placed across the battlefield. The relentless beetle battle droid army sprinted across the road, unknowingly heading straight for the traps set in their path. Sensing the opportune moment, Hamza focused, fixing his aim on the flint rock prepared to ignite the open-combustion oil barrels. He deftly pulled back on the bowstring, its metallic strips requiring all his strength to draw. The bow was no ordinary weapon¡ªit resonated with an odd resilience, producing tingling sounds as the string was loaded. Squinting his eyes, Hamza whispered to himself, ¡°I can see it. Skill utilizing strength. I¡¯ve got that in spades with archery. Let¡¯s rumble, you heaps of metal scraps.¡± This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. Hamza had already covered his ears, having tested this bow before the battle. This was no ordinary bow¡ªit could launch arrows at near-supersonic speeds. It was different from Jack¡¯s bow; Hamza had crafted it using the sturdiest cord he could find in the mining operation area. Swoosh With a swoosh, the arrow cut through the air, its sharp sound akin to a miniature jet zooming past. The arrow traveled at blistering speed, and as the army crossed the barrels, it struck the tip of a flint rock, creating a spark. Ching. That was all it took to ignite the oil barrels. Boom. The explosion caught more than a few dozen droids in its shockwave and blast radius, creating a massive cloud of smoke and fire across the terrain. From his vantage point, Hamza watched with a stern look. Yet, the beetle battle droid army did not stop. They emerged from the fire, sprinting towards his location without slowing down. The clanking of their metallic appendages grew ever louder. ¡°One down, four more traps to go. I need to make each one count,¡± Hamza muttered to himself. [You have killed a beetle battle droid 100GP points] [You have killed X¨Cbeetle battle droid 28] [Level up] [2800 GP Points] Before the system could display anything more, Hamza quickly interjected, ¡°Oye, system. Just give me the kill notifications for now. Unless it¡¯s serious.¡± He didn¡¯t even bother looking at the system screen as he swiftly moved to change his position. There was no time to waste. [Understood. I won¡¯t bother you with unnecessary updates. Rip and tear until it¡¯s done] the system responded. With a sly grin, Hamza remarked as he jumped and skidded from the arched pillar to the ground, ¡°Huh! No condescending behavior. Now you¡¯re speaking my language.¡± The system retorted, ¡°You do realize that I exist to assist you, right? Although being a dick comes with the territory. In times like these, I must admit, I do enjoy the carnage.¡± What a peculiar and sadistic system Hamza thought to himself. Hamza quickly started climbing an oddly shaped crane for his second position. It was a challenging climb that took 30 seconds. He was late; the army was swift and had already passed the second checkpoint of the trap. Standing atop the crane, he felt the air current stronger than he had anticipated. Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves, he prepared himself not to miss. He didn¡¯t have the luxury to repeat this; he had to make haste for the next checkpoint. Each attempt had to land for him to thin out some numbers. ¡°A calm and calculating mind is a deadly mind,¡± he reminded himself. Loading his bow with an arrow tipped with ruby, he launched it after aiming at the second set of combustion oil barrels¡ªthis one was farther than the first one. With a swoosh, the arrow hurtled through the air, its sharp, cutting sound slicing through the silence. It was a sensation Hamza had experienced before. The arrow, with its unrivaled speed and power, streaked across the distance at an electrifying pace, perfectly timed with the army¡¯s movement toward the barrels. As it made contact with the flint rock, a lively spark ignited. Hamza struck a quick victory pose, mimicking a gun firing with his hand for a touch of flair. ¡°Boom.¡± [You have killed X¨Cbeetle battle droid 45] ¡°Haha! Scored!¡± Hamza exclaimed. He quickly jumped from the crane, using the protruding poles to maneuver and descend as swiftly as possible. ¡°I knew Jack¡¯s stats would come in handy. And who would¡¯ve thought that the gymnastics classes I took in college would prove useful after all these years? On to the next,¡± Hamza thought to himself. He quickly detoured to the next vantage point. He had planned with Jack that as soon as he thinned out some droids from his positions, he would join him. He knew that each vantage point was critical. The strafing was just a few barrels, but at the end of the last two traps were more than 50 or 100 barrels. In the original events, Jack was just one man trying to do everything. But now it¡¯s a bit different with stakes even higher. I made use of that and told the dogs and Jack to trust me. To empty all the reserves the mining operation had,¡± Hamza reflected as he ran towards another crane that was even higher than the previous one. ¡°Every shot must count,¡± he declared with a voice full of determination. He needed to bolster his confidence, even if it meant speaking the words aloud to convince himself. Speaking into his walkie-talkie, he said, ¡°Observer, I¡¯m heading your way. Let me know if you need sharpshooting support. I can make one shot if I get there early.¡± Meanwhile, Observer¡¯s battle had also begun. Her solitude was making her moody; she didn¡¯t enjoy being alone. ¡°Damn it! I told them I wanted to be with my darling, but they wouldn¡¯t listen,¡± Observer grumbled aloud. She was perched atop a pile of beetle battle droid corpses, their metallic bodies gleaming with shards of crimson rubies. The battlefield echoed with the clanking of robotic limbs and the sizzle of destroyed circuits. A few hundred battle droids that had been trailing behind the main force began to swarm Observer¡¯s location. They halted at the sight of the mountain of corpses, their linked minds processing the data of what had transpired. At the start of the siege, the droids were crushed and pierced by massive ruby shards. As more droids fell, they began to fill the trenches. The remaining swarm marched over their fallen comrades, but as they advanced, shards from below rose in an instant and destroyed them. Boom. ¡°This is hard. I¡¯m getting overwhelmed,¡± Observer admitted, her hands raised as if force-choking with her telekinesis. She was holding the line by blocking and destroying the droids with massive shards of rubies, but their numbers seemed endless. Suddenly, an idea sparked in her mind. She had been practicing with shards; her crimson ruby armor was made of them and held together by her telekinesis. What if I use smaller shards instead of big ones? They require less power and cause less exhaustion. These crimson rubies are so sharp and sturdy; with some force, they could pierce anything she thought. A notification popped up as she pondered this while barely holding the line of defense with a shard barrier.

Laughter bubbled up within her as she read the message. She didn¡¯t possess the same statistics as Hamza, but her strength grew in tandem with his. ¡°Madam Overlord Observer, it appears he has advanced a level. Your stats distribute the power evenly, making you stronger,¡± the system message chimed in. ¡°Ahahaha¡ I¡¯m aware. My love, always my savior at the perfect moment.¡± The memory logs ended with each battle droid being torn apart by an unseen force. As the memory catalog closed, droids swiftly converged on the mountain of fallen comrades, attempting to scale it in a desperate bid to reach Observer, who had maintained her distance from the previous battlefield. Sigh. With a sigh slipping from her lips, Observer leaped from the mountain of battle droid remains to the ground. Crimson ruby shards orbited her body on various axes, some spinning horizontally, others on different planes. It was as if she commanded their gravity. ¡°I¡¯m growing impatient. My love is taking too long to arrive.¡± [Hamza has leveled up killing X¨Cbeetle battle droid 45. Sync with lover effects apply] ¡°I can feel my power surge. Shall we put it to the test?¡± she mused, crushing a circuit board she had been toying with after extracting it from one of the droids. Her gaze turned icy as she stared at the shards orbiting her, their speed increasing until they whipped up a windstorm.

Chapter 16: Raging Storm of Crimson Shards The rotation of the shards around the observer was accelerating by the second. Their speed had increased to such an extent that they whipped up a windstorm in the observer¡¯s immediate vicinity. She stood her ground, her gaze fixed on the hundreds of droids that began to charge at her without any hesitation. Her sapphire eyes glowed with a neon light, signaling her readiness for whatever was to come. The intricate network of circuit-like nerves tracing her irises lit up in response. Her unique octopus haircut, with long black tendrils cascading over her shoulders, whipped wildly in the windstorm. The metallic clanking of the beetle-like battle droids, towering over her, grew louder as they approached hastily, balancing on two of their appendages just a few feet away. 01 The battle droids launched their lethal assault in unison, their scythe-shaped appendages slicing through the air with deadly precision. They had formed a perfect circle around her, leaving no room for escape or evasion. Like a relentless storm of steel, their appendages rained down upon her. Whoosh! Unfazed, Observer stood firm with a smirk playing on her lips. At her command, the ruby shards orbiting her launched towards the droids like bullets from a gun barrel. These rubies tore through the heavy metal frames of the beetle-like battle droids with ease, akin to a rapid-fire submachine gun unleashing its fury. Clank- Rattle ¨CThung ¨C Thung But the shards didn¡¯t just fire off and vanish into oblivion. They returned to their origin point to strike again with blistering speed, relentlessly piercing through the droids¡¯ defenses. In mere seconds, the once formidable droids were reduced to unrecognizable heaps of shredded metal and sparking circuits. The nine droids that had encircled her collapsed under their own weight, their remains scattered around her like remnants of a fierce storm. A small crimson ruby shield protected the observer¡¯s head, effortlessly deflecting the falling scythe-shaped appendages as they descended with the destroyed droids. As the dust cleared, observer emerged, standing tall amidst the chaos. A thin trail of blood trickled down from a wound on her head, and she drew heavy, labored breaths¡ ¡°I underestimated them,¡± she admitted to herself, ¡°They¡¯re stronger than I anticipated. My telekinesis drains my stamina way to fast, and they managed to break through my shield.¡± Despite an entire night spent in rigorous training, her control over her powers was still far from perfect. She reached up to touch her face, adjusting her disheveled hair. The hundreds of droids watched from a distance, their caution evident as they kept their distance from her formidable presence. As she touched a wound on her cheek and saw the blood on her fingers, she froze in place. An eerie silence descended upon the battlefield, broken only by the mournful howl of the desert winds. ¡°How dare you mar my face? You DARE!¡± she roared into the silence. ¡°What will he think if he sees me scarred?¡± Her voice echoed across the battlefield as everything around her - pebbles, debris, even destroyed droids - began to levitate in response to her rising anger. A distant buzzing noise came from her belt pouch - it was her walkie-talkie - but she was too consumed by rage to notice. ¡°No more games¡ This is personal¡ NO MERCY!¡± With these words, an aura of palpable fear radiated from her. The droids began retreating one by one, their large blue eyes wide with terror as they felt the full force of her bloodlust. They turned tail and fled in panic as she levitated off the ground, a cold and deadly stare fixed on their retreating forms. With a swift motion of her right hand, the observer seemed to pull at an unseen force. Suddenly, hundreds of battle droids began to float helplessly before being violently plunged into the solid rocky ground. Large shards rose up from the already dead droids and from the trenches. They all levitated high above the droids pinned down, casting ominous shadows on the battlefield below. In the air Hundreds of shares were suspended. ¡°AHHHHHH!¡± she screamed, her left hand mimicking a throwing motion. At her command, every single shard suspended in the air plummeted with terrifying speed. The droids were immobilized, some facing downwards, oblivious to their impending doom. Others looked upwards, witnessing their imminent demise as the massive shards descended like a hailstorm of deadly arrows. A force of unimaginable weight pressed down on them, crushing them as if they were caught in a hydraulic press. Clank-- Shatter¨CSmash¨CCrush A massive explosion erupted as dozens of droids detonated in a fiery blast, lighting up the battlefield. Boom When the dust settled, the battlefield was a gruesome sight - littered with the mangled remains of droids and massive shards, leaving no room to even set foot. It was a massacre of epic proportions, with black oil seeping from the destroyed droids staining the battlefield. observer collapsed from exhaustion, her body drenched in sweat as she gasped for breath. She lay on the ground, too weak to move. A notification popped up on her system screen, displaying a new message as she struggled to catch her breath. she wished she could reach out to him, but her body refused to cooperate. ¡°I want to contact him, but I can¡¯t move,¡± she gasped, her breaths coming in short, ragged bursts. The harsh desert sun beat down on her, causing sweat to bead on her forehead. After a few minutes, her breathing began to slow and steady. Suddenly, the screeching sound of hydraulics pierced the silence. Turning her head, she saw a half-destroyed beetle battle droid dragging its mangled body towards her. Oil leaked from its damaged frame, and sparks flew from its short-circuiting wires. It moved with a mechanical determination, using one of its scythe-shaped appendages to claw at the ground and pull itself forward. A sense of dread washed over the observer as the droid inched closer. She tried to move but found herself paralyzed. Calling for help was futile - Jack and Hamza were kilometers away. ¡°I don¡¯t want to die like this,¡± she whispered in a voice barely above a whisper. It was the first time she had ever felt fear - raw, unfiltered fear that she would die a meaningless death so soon. She had so many dreams, so many experiences yet to be lived. ¡°Hamza! Help me!¡± she cried out in a voice choked with tears as the droid loomed over her, its torn body casting a shadow over her. She closed her eyes as darkness enveloped her. I guess this life was not meant to be a good one. I¡¯m sorry.. With a final creak, the droid¡¯s scythe-shaped appendage was raised, ready to deliver the fatal blow. It fell with a swift motion. Ching Moments passed, yet the expected pain of the impaling strike didn¡¯t come. Slowly opening her eyes, she was met with the sight of a long, crimson, ruby-like sword blocking the droid¡¯s attack. ¡°You called, and I¡¯m here. Let me handle this!¡± a familiar voice said. His blue eyes met her teary ones as he smiled reassuringly from beside her. His smile seemed to wash away all her worries and fears. With a gentle pat on her head, he effortlessly deflected the half-dead beetle battle droid¡¯s attack with his crimson ruby sword. With a swift kick, Hamza sent the droid flying into the air. As it descended, he sliced it into pieces before it hit the ground. He then sheathed his sword, now free of the oil that had coated it. Slowly, Hamza approached her and gently helped her sit up while still on the ground. ¡°How did you get here? And how did you know I was in trouble?¡± she asked softly, her eyes welling up with tears. She couldn¡¯t believe that Hamza had come as soon as she called for him. Her emotions were a whirlwind of relief and gratitude. In response, he simply took out her walkie-talkie from the pouch on her belt. ¡°You didn¡¯t answer. I thought you were in trouble. I had to make a choice: either go to my next checkpoint or come for you. Looks like I made the right call,¡± he said with a smile, giving her another comforting pat on the head. Overwhelmed by his kindness and timely rescue, she burst into tears. As she covered her face, she remembered the scar on her right cheek. Tears streamed down her face as she pleaded, ¡°Don¡¯t look at me. You¡¯ll despise what you see. My face¡ it¡¯s scarred. Please don¡¯t hate me.¡± Hamza sighed deeply, a mix of frustration and concern etched on his face. I wonder if her innocence was an act or if she was genuinely oblivious Gently, he removed her hands from her face and with a swift motion, flicked her forehead. ¡°Ouch! Why would you do that?¡± she protested, rubbing the spot where his finger had made contact. He simply shrugged, ¡°Don¡¯t worry about it.¡± Reaching into one of the pouches on his belt, he pulled out a cloth. With tender precision, he began to wipe away the blood and grime that marred her beautiful face. ¡°I¡¯ll let you in on a secret,¡± he said softly, his eyes never leaving hers. ¡°I find scars attractive. And a woman with muscles? That¡¯s even more appealing to me.¡± He paused for a moment before continuing, ¡°Now take these pills. I just made them.¡±
Custom M-pill Description Limitations
A pill with extraordinary properties. Upon consumption, it can restore stamina and very small wounds as well. Needs to be consumed fully. Can only be used by observer. It won¡¯t work if anyone else consumes it. Active duration For only 1 minute. While restoring stamina user cannot move an inch.
[Custom m-Pill (stamina)] [700 GP points] Can you come closer? I have something to tell you,¡± she requested softly. He complied, reducing the distance between them. ¡°More,¡± she whispered. He moved even closer, their faces now just an inch apart. ¡°Obse-¡± Before he could react, she grabbed his jacket collar and pulled him towards her, their lips meeting in a gentle kiss. She kissed him slowly, then pulled away, a shy smile playing on her lips. ¡°That¡¯s your reward. Thanks, darling,¡± she said, her voice filled with enthusiasm. He stood frozen in place, stunned by her bold move. Observer swallowed the colorful pill Hamza had given her earlier. Suddenly, she couldn¡¯t move. Hamza looked surprised but quickly regained his composure. ¡°You and your schemes¡ You are just too cheeky¡± he teased, playfully pinching her cheeks. As he played with her cheeks as she could not move. Her annoyance was evident, her cheeks flushed a deep red. Hamza felt a twinge of discomfort but quickly brushed it off. Getting up, he scanned their surroundings to pass the time while the pill took effect. The sight that met his eyes was eerie - endless corpses of battle droids lay in waste, their bodies impaled by shards of crimson rubies. The sight was unsettling. I hope she doesn¡¯t go yandere on me¡ This is too much for even me to handle Despite everything, Hamza managed a smile as he sat beside her and patted her head. ¡°Damn, you destroyed an entire army¡ If you keep this up, I might just be able to tolerate more of your shenanigans.¡± As the minute passed, she rose, her eyes gleaming with mischief. She moved towards him, ready to steal another kiss, but he stopped her with a firm hand. ¡°Hold on! We don¡¯t have time for this,¡± he said sternly. ¡°Just one more,¡± she pleaded. ¡°Can you run? We need to get to the third checkpoint on that crane as fast as possible,¡± he asked, urgency creeping into his voice. The beetle droid army was still passing through, each part a kilometer or 0.6 miles apart. She smiled, her hands gently folded and fingers interlocked in quiet contemplation. An amused look danced in her eyes. With a swift gesture, a portal opened. ¡°Do we still have time for the third checkpoint? I expect compensation¡ and my iguana. You still haven¡¯t given me my iguana,¡± she said, a sly smile playing on her lips. Oh I forgot she had a portal teleportation type thing. Nice ¡°okay. Sure , I''ll try to find one after we deal with the current situation and live. let¡¯s go,¡± he agreed with a smile. They stepped through the portal and found themselves at the third checkpoint. He couldn¡¯t help but think, I might have actually fallen for her if not for her ominous nature. Hamza smirked as he unstrapped his bow from his back and pulled an arrow from his quiver. He took aim and let the arrow fly. ¡°Boom!¡± The sound echoed through the air. [author] We do a little romance here XD... just a little [/author] Chapter 17: Hunting The Marksman! Perched atop one of the four towering cranes scattered across the vast expanse of the mining operation area, Hamza and Observer stood in silent anticipation. Hamza¡¯s muscles strained as he pulled back on the bowstring, the metallic strips humming with tension. The bowstring resonated with a peculiar resilience, producing a tingling sound that echoed in the still air. A little distance away, Observer watched Keely with an intense gaze. She stood near the edge of the crane¡¯s cab, her silhouette outlined against the vast landscape. With a swift motion, Hamza released the arrow. It sliced through the air with a piercing whoosh, its sound echoing like a tiny jet darting swiftly through the sky. The noise was so intense that Observer had to cover her ears, falling to her knees on the cab¡¯s floor. The wind whipped around them, unimpeded by any structures or the massive sand dunes that lay behind the cranes. Whoosh ¡°My ears¡ You idiot! At least warn me,¡± she shouted over the wind, her voice filled with annoyance. ¡°Fuck! I missed,¡± Hamza muttered under his breath as he watched the arrow veer off course. Instead of hitting its intended target - a flint rock - it struck one of the beetle-like battle droids that were traversing the rugged terrain. Boom The impact resulted in an explosion that echoed across the barren landscape. A single droid was destroyed, its metallic body disintegrating under the force of the blast. With a heavy sigh, Hamza made his way towards Observer, his figure silhouetted against the backdrop of destruction. Observer watched him closely, reading his emotions like an open book. His face was etched with seriousness, his brows furrowed in anger and his eyes fixed on the ground. It was as if he was reliving past memories of feeling useless and abused. The intensity of his gaze spoke volumes about his determination to overcome his past and prove his worth. ¡°I missed. Dammit it! This is a disaster. We can¡¯t afford to waste time here,¡± Hamza muttered, his head bowed in frustration. Standing opposite him, Observer slowly rose to her feet, a sense of unease creeping over her. Hamza¡¯s anger was palpable, his hand clenched into a trembling fist. His self-loathing was evident in his demeanor, the weight of his mistake bearing down on him. He knew better than anyone that this had been an uphill battle from the start, a situation complicated by the butterfly effect to such an extent that there was no room for error. The alternative was a looming specter of death. He could leave this battle, but he knew Jack would stay. Jack was his only lifeline in this world, the strongest among them. His strategies relied heavily on cooperation; it had been all or nothing since he started helping Jack. After seeing observer I feel like I didn¡¯t even do simple things. I don¡¯t want to be a burden. Never again. I never want to go through that again. Like in my past. ¡°I¡¯m not useless¡± he uttered barely a whisper. Observer watched him closely, reading his emotions like an open book. His face was etched with seriousness, his brows furrowed in anger and his eyes fixed on the ground. It was as if he was reliving past memories of feeling useless and abused. The intensity of his gaze spoke volumes about his determination to overcome his past which gave him the anxiety he lived with. ¡°No worries, you¡¯ll succeed next time,¡± Observer said, her voice filled with concern. But her words only seemed to exacerbate Hamza¡¯s frustration. ¡°You don¡¯t understand. We¡¯re running out of time. They¡¯ve almost passed the third checkpoint. We need to hurry to the fourth one,¡± Hamza retorted, his voice echoing in the wind-swept expanse. His outburst made Observer flinch and take a step back. This was the first time she had seen him genuinely angry, and she was at a loss for how to respond. Hamza fell silent, realizing he was unfairly venting his frustration on Observer. He felt a pang of guilt for his outburst. But Observer wasn¡¯t about to let him wallow in self-pity. She knew about his past and understood his tendency to be hard on himself. She wanted to support him Knowing his history and past he¡¯s going to be hard on himself. He is someone with a lot of self-loathing and an inferiority complex Gathering her courage, she finally spoke up. ¡°Wait! I can create a portal directly to the spot you were aiming for. It will be exhausting, but I can manage it since I¡¯ve restored my stamina with the pill you gave me.¡± She reached out and gently held Hamza¡¯s trembling hand, trying to soothe his anger. ¡°Let me try, please! I can salvage this situation. If it doesn¡¯t work, I¡¯ll get us to the fourth checkpoint immediately. We all make mistakes. Just trust me!¡± Her voice was firm, filled with determination and resolve. Hamza knew about Observer¡¯s ability to create portals, but he wasn¡¯t sure if she could pull off something like this. His face was a mask of uncertainty, his eyes reflecting his inner turmoil. Taking a deep breath, he slapped his face with both hands. I can¡¯t let my emotions get the best of me. We all make mistakes. I won¡¯t make one again. Looking from the distance from his vantage point. Hamza tried to assess the situation. From his vantage point, Hamza surveyed the scene below. Countless beetle-like battle droids were marching along the intersecting roads. The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. One road is clear because of Observer. I owe her an iguana now. She¡¯s so reliable. A small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. His gaze then shifted to the army that was almost through the third checkpoint. With Jack¡¯s enhanced senses, he could see a few barrels of combustion oil still intact as the army continued its march. Time is running out. We can thin their numbers here. Hamza quickly formulated a plan. They still had a chance, despite the overwhelming numbers. It was now or never. Observer smiled as Hamza nodded in her direction, glad that she could be of help. He approached her and gently placed some cloth buds in her ears, a precaution he had thoughtfully prepared for if he lost his ones in a confrontation. It made her blush, but he quickly snapped her back to reality. ¡°Focus!¡± he said, pointing in the direction of the oil barrels. Observer¡¯s eyes scanned the landscape, squinting to pinpoint the location of the oil barrels from their elevated position on the crane. Once she had a clear visual, she gestured with her hands, and a portal materialized. Hamza, in sync with her actions, swiftly drew an arrow from his quiver and notched it on his bow. He aimed at the portal, ready to release the arrow as soon as he had a clear shot. ¡°No more mistakes,¡± he declared in a stern voice. As the portal opened, revealing a bird¡¯s-eye view of the battlefield, he could see the oil barrels nestled next to a large cliff in the middle of the road. The mechanical clicking of the beetle battle droids echoed through the air as they marched forward. A few droids noticed the anomaly in the sky and with registering one of the few targets was standing and lunged towards it. Their metallic wings flapped a few times propelling them towards the portal. Hamza¡¯s gaze was fixed on them, his aim steady on the flint rock strapped to one of the open oil barrels. He pulled back on his bowstring with all his might and launched an arrow. ¡°Scream for me, bicthes!¡± he shouted defiantly. As the droids approached the portal in haste, Hamza prepared for their onslaught. With a steady aim, Hamza released the arrow. A sonic boom echoed across the mining operation area, the shockwave thrusting away the droids that had approached the portal. The ruby-tipped arrow pierced through the droids without losing speed, lunging at the oil barrels and destroying them scattering the entire oil and broken pieces of the barrels and catching the spark causing a massive explosion. The scattered oil ignited as the portal closed, creating a fiery spectacle in the barren landscape. Hamza turned his attention to Observer, who was huffing and puffing from the effort of creating the portal. He approached her and offered his hand for support. ¡°Opening portals at such a distance is obnoxiously hard,¡± she gasped, struggling to catch her breath. Hamza glanced at the messages, finding some satisfaction in the small notifications. If this system wasn¡¯t getting high from the carnage, it would be bothering me. Well, it¡¯s a nice change of pace. ¡°See, I told you it would work!¡± Observer exclaimed between erratic breaths. The joy on her face was evident, but Hamza was concerned about her exhaustion. She was too out of it to even portal her way to the 4th check point. With haste he took her in her arms and carried her but stopped as he looked at the position of the crane. As Hamza surveyed the position of the crane they were standing on, an idea sparked in his mind. He stopped walking and gently set Observer down. ¡°Umm. Something wrong?¡± Observer asked, her curiosity piqued. She had thought he would carry her to the next checkpoint, and his sudden change of plan left her feeling a bit disappointed. Hamza guided her to sit on the counterweight area of the crane. I¡¯ve come up with a solution. A drastic one. He knew he wouldn¡¯t make it to the next checkpoint in time if he had to carry Observer on his back. Sighing, he said, ¡°I¡¯m insane, but it¡¯s the quickest way to the fourth checkpoint.¡± He unsheathed his sword from its back sheath and readied himself to strike. They were both standing on the counterweight on the other side of the crane. His crimson ruby sword gleamed in the desert sunlight as he braced himself to use his full force to cut the counterweight. With a loud cry, he unleashed an attack on the joint holding the counterweight. Ching His powerful blow barely managed to cut it in one swing. He quickly grabbed Observer and balanced himself at the edge of the crane where the counterweight was. It fell to the ground with a massive thud. Thung ¡°Welcome to Hamza Airlines! Just hold on! Talking in 3, 2, 1¡± "Hold on!" he shouted to Observer, their eyes locked in a fierce determination. "This ride is about to get wild." He glanced down at the falling counterweight, calculating the distance and timing in his mind. As the crane swayed and shuddered from the sudden loss of the counterweight, he seized the opportunity. With adrenaline pumping through his veins, he sprinted towards the edge of the tilting crane. He could feel the rush of air as the massive structure teetered and swung in response to the sudden shift in balance. With a powerful leap, he soared off the crane''s edge, carrying the momentum of the tilting structure. The world blurred around him as he hurtled through the air like a human projectile, propelled by the crane''s swinging motion. Hamza carried Observer securely in his arms, their trust in him evident in their unwavering gaze. The distance to the next crane, a kilometer away, seemed both exhilarating and daunting. His crimson ruby sword gleamed in the desert sunlight as he arced through the sky, aiming for the distant crane''s arm. Time seemed to slow as he approached the target, calculating the trajectory and angle of his flight. With breathtaking precision, he angled his body and swung his sword, using it as a rudder to adjust his course. He felt the rush of wind and the G-forces as he closed the gap rapidly. The extended arm of the distant crane loomed closer, and he braced for impact. He crashed into the arm, a mix of controlled force and sheer will, carrying Observer safely in his arms. The landing was rough, but he managed to maintain his grip and slide on the terrain near the crane. Both of them were battered and bruised, but they had made it without serious injuries. Observer eyes were wide with awe and exhilaration laughing, "ahahha¡± ¡°This is just like skydiving¡± Brushing off the dust and peeling bits of skin from small injuries obtained during his skid through the treacherous rocky terrain, he quickly checked both himself and the observer. Fortunately, there weren''t many injuries. With a triumphant, albeit pained, smile on his lips, he replied, "Just in time. Fourth checkpoint." ¡°Slur- Glur.¡± As he sprinted forward, an unsettling sensation gripped him. In an instant, something viciously gouged into his stomach. He glanced down to see a massive, wickedly sharp object protruding from his abdomen, spewing a torrent of blood. Hamza quickly shifted his gaze towards the figure responsible, dread seeping in. ¡°Found you! I''ve finally caught up to you, you rascals,¡± a dark mist surrounded the figure, emanating a deathly aura that enveloped the area like a shroud. A form he knew all too well. observer watched in horror, her exhaustion from creating the portal rendering her unable to react. An Aku minion. Here? "Let the fun begin." Chapter 18: Impending doom! Standing on the crane massive cabin, Hamza felt a disquieting unease, as if something was terribly wrong. The reality, however, was far more chaotic than he could have ever anticipated. He had been attacked, yet he hadn¡¯t noticed or registered the assault. Despite his heightened senses, akin to those of Samurai Jack, he remained oblivious to the critical injury that had pierced his stomach until it was too late. Pain was an afterthought as he struggled to utter a word while blood spewed from his mouth. The pain surged through him like a tidal wave, but through sheer willpower, he resisted the urge to succumb to unconsciousness. His bloodshot eyes remained open, darting erratically as he grappled with the excruciating pain coursing through his body. A sharp, black metallic/crystalline object was lodged in his abdomen. Summoning all his strength, he turned to identify his attacker, only to be met with a sight he wished he could unsee. A dark mist shrouded the figure, its form as black as obsidian. Only its menacing yellow eyes were visible to both Hamza and the Observer. The entity towered over them by several feet, emanating an eerie and terrifying aura of pure malice. Its first words reverberated ominously in their ears, amplifying the horror of the situation. ¡°Found you! I¡¯ve finally caught up to you, you rascals,¡± Hamza exclaimed, recognizing the form before him all too well. Could it be an Aku minion? Here? It certainly bore a striking resemblance to Aku. Perhaps a bounty hunter or a henchman? As soon as his gaze fell upon the figure, a system message materialized. ¡°Run! That Thing¡ You will meet your end if you confront it!¡± The system notification echoed ominously, urging Hamza to flee. Observer could only watch in abject horror. The exhaustion from creating the portal had left her incapacitated, unable to react. She was forced to witness Hamza¡¯s suffering, his pain and agony palpable. Yet, despite her trembling knees and the blood spewing from Hamza¡¯s mouth, she attempted to rise. ¡°Let the fun begin,¡± the entity declared. Its terrifying, erratic giggles grew louder as its second hand morphed into a scythe-like appendage. A dozen more sharp protrusions appeared, ready to skewer Hamza like a kebab. Hamza watched in horror, giving Observer a heavy nod of trust. The realization hit her instantly; she could predict what he was implying. With trembling lips and a racing heart, she steeled herself. As the entity prepared to strike, Observer used her telekinesis to wrench Hamza from its grasp. Hamza was yanked away forcefully as the sharp object was ripped from his abdomen. Observer caught him in her trembling arms as his blood gushed out at an alarming rate. The entity observed them in silence before speaking. ¡°Interesting. Can you dodge this?¡± No sooner had the words left its mouth than Hamza activated an ability he had never used before - a desperate measure for desperate times. In his desperation, he even called out its name. ¡°Za-worldo.¡±

The world around them seemed to lose its vibrancy, fading into stark monochrome as time came to a standstill. Everything froze in place, suspended in a timeless void. Hamza¡¯s gaze fell upon Observer, his vision hazy yet filled with horror. She was on the brink of being impaled by the scythe-like black entity that had already pierced her shoulder. The remaining parts of the scythe-like entity were perilously close to her. Could she move in stopped time? Was it because of their link? One second passed. Time was slipping away. Hamza let out a desperate scream, trying to capture Observer¡¯s attention. ¡°Observer!¡± His voice echoed through the stillness as blood gushed from his abdominal wound. Two seconds passed. Stolen story; please report. Hamza¡¯s desperate cries caught Observer¡¯s attention. She struggled to free her shoulder, pushing back against the entity. With a final effort, she broke free, blood spewing from her shoulder wound. ¡°Teleport us out of here near Jack. We¡¯ll die if we face that thing,¡± Hamza screamed with all his might, choking on his own blood. Despite the numbing cold spreading through him and the desperation etched on his face, he managed to utter one more word with his bloodshot eyes. ¡°Hurry!¡± Three seconds passed. Time was running out as their ability to manipulate it was fading. Observer mustered all her strength and energy to create a portal towards the massive central building in sight. She knew Jack¡¯s line of defense was closest to that building. Four seconds passed. With the portal now open, she hurled both Hamza and herself into it in a last-ditch effort to escape. Five seconds passed. Boom Hamza lay sprawled on the ground, his lifeblood seeping into the earth beside Observer, who was too weak to stand. Drawing a ragged breath, she forced her trembling body upright to assess Hamza¡¯s condition. His body bore a gaping wound, his organs ravaged and strewn across the rocky terrain. Despite the severity of his injuries, Hamza clung to consciousness, weakly gesturing towards his pockets. Tears welled in Observer¡¯s eyes as she frantically attempted to administer first aid. As Hamza¡¯s lips moved to speak, she leaned in closer to catch his faint words. ¡°The pills¡ My pocket. Hurry.¡± With urgency driving her actions, Observer rifled through his pockets to find seven pills. Two bore a familiar hue - the same ones she had been given earlier. The remaining five were stark white. Wasting no time, she forced two white pills into Hamza¡¯s mouth. His need for immediate medical attention was dire; he was losing blood at an alarming rate. ¡°Help! He¡¯s dying!¡± Observer cried out, her gaze sweeping over the seemingly deserted building. The commotion reached the ears of all the dogs nearby. Recognizing the familiar voice, they turned their attention to the dire state of Hamza and Observer. The monocle dog issued a command - everyone was to rush and provide aid with whatever resources they had at their disposal. Like a well-oiled machine, all the dogs sprang into action, darting back and forth to gather equipment and assist their fallen comrades.

As everyone around him scrambled to provide aid, his mind was consumed by the system¡¯s description of the entity that had attacked him. His bloodshot eyes were wide open, straining to make sense of the chaos unfolding around him. The world was blurring at the edges, his senses gradually numbing. As everyone was tending to both the wounded people a massive thug echoed as one of the crane fell that could be seen from the central bulling in the mining operation area. Everyone watched in horror. The desperation was now evident. In the defensive lanes of the mining operation Jack was holding the line with his trusty katana in hand, Jack steeled his resolve and cut through the poring armada of the droids that charged. The droids overwhelmed him and tackled the steed he was riding and killing it. Their mechanical legs thudded against the ground, closing the distance with alarming speed. Jack lunged forward, meeting their onslaught with precision and grace. The clash of steel against metal rang through the air, each strike a symphony of might and skill. Jack''s katana danced and whirled, slicing through droid after droid. Their limbs and parts scattered like the metallic rain of a fierce storm, but they continued to advance, undeterred. Ching-clank As the droids charged toward him with their relentless assault, Jack swiftly assessed his surroundings. He noticed the intricate network of tunnels and passageways that comprised the mining operation, each lined with potential traps. In the dimly lit cavern, Jack formulated a strategic plan to turn the tide of the battle. With the droids closing in, Jack sprinted through the narrow tunnels, expertly leading them into a carefully laid trap. He lured them into a section of the mine rigged with tripwires and pressure-sensitive plates. As the droids activated the traps, concealed mechanisms sprang into action. Large boulders suspended from the ceiling were released, crashing down upon the unsuspecting droids. The ground beneath them gave way, sending a group of droids tumbling into a deep pit. Jack''s movements were precise, ensuring the droids met their demise at the hands of their own activated traps. Taking advantage of the chaos, Jack redirected the remaining droids into a narrow corridor. He triggered a mechanism that closed off their escape route, effectively trapping them in a confined space. Jack then unleashed a barrage of strikes with his katana, taking down the trapped droids one by one in the confined space, leaving no room for their counterattack. Emphasizing agility and quick thinking, Jack continued to utilize the environment to his advantage. He led another group of droids into an area where a hidden explosive had been strategically placed. A detonation triggered a powerful blast that sent droids flying in all directions, scattering their metallic forms across the mining operation. In the midst of the chaos, Jack''s movements were a blur of agility and deadly precision. He spun and parried, delivering blows that dismantled the droids without any wasted movements. Yet, their numbers seemed endless, and the fight grew more intense with every passing moment. The droids, powered by a relentless algorithm, pressed their attack. Their razor-sharp appendages clashed with Jack''s blade, creating sparks that illuminated the dark cavern. Jack''s muscles strained as he pushed his limits, the energy of battle coursing through his veins. One particularly large droid, a leader of the mechanical swarm, stepped forward, its red eyes gleaming with malice. It swung a massive pincer, aiming to crush Jack. With a swift sidestep, Jack evaded the blow and retaliated, severing the pincer in a single, powerful stroke. The tide of the battle began to turn as Jack''s relentless assault and strategic maneuvers decimated the droid horde. He fought with the strength of a hundred warriors, his spirit unyielding, and his resolve unwavering. The clang of metal on metal grew louder as the droids fell one by one, their once-formidable force reduced to a scattered collection of broken parts. With his torn of clothes and cuts all over his boy received by the droids striped from all the armor. Jack was still fighting with flair and intensity. Cutting and gutting every droid that tried to approach him with his magical sword. Oil spilled on him covering every inch of his body from the droid''s dismembered corpse. Yet it didn¡¯t hinder his ability to cut everything in his path. With a resounding war Cry ¡°Who wants some¡± Jack screamed at the few left droids scattered on the battlefield along slide the endless corpses the droids. The few that survived stood in fear and ran away after Jack''s provocation. In the end, Jack stood victorious amidst the wreckage of the droids. He sheathed his katana, its blade glistening with the remnants of battle, and surveyed the battlefield. His oiled walkie-talkie rang as he picked up it and hearing the dread news ran towards the central building. Chapter 19: Gurina, One of the seven sins In the midst of chaos and tension, a single figure was surrounded by everyone. The mining operation had been under siege, but all attention was now diverted to one individual teetering on the brink of death. Strapped to a bed with rusty yet functional equipment monitoring his condition, he lay in the central building. His chances of survival were slim, but the hope that this savior would awaken was enough to draw every dog in the area. They gathered around him, eyes closed in prayer, hoping for a miracle. Hamza lay on the bed, his condition being closely monitored by three dogs who watched in awe. observer held Hamza¡¯s hand with a gentle grip, her eyes swollen with tears as she looked at Hamza¡¯s unconscious form. She was filled with dread. ¡®The Ultra pills should have worked. So why? Why doesn¡¯t he wake up?¡¯ she thought. Connected to him, she could see the description of what Hamza had created with his ability. She knew that two pills should have been enough to heal him, yet he remained unconscious. This is what hopelessness feels like. Not knowing what will happen. This is painful she thought. Observer watched Hamza with a sense of despair, while the three dogs looked on in awe of his miraculous recovery. His critical wound had regenerated from scratch. His vitals stabilized within minutes, an astonishing feat considering he had been on death¡¯s door just moments ago with a gaping hole and destroyed organ in his stomach. The monocle-wearing dog looked at the woman and tried to calm her down, knowing full well that the most dangerous moment had likely passed. ¡°Please don¡¯t worry, lass. He has survived the worst. His unconscious state is due to shock, but he will be okay,¡± the dog said in a low voice. The observer nodded in response, her gaze fixed on Hamza. ¡°Who did this to you? The droids?¡± the dog asked, worry evident in his eyes. ¡°No, it was something with a dark, vile form. It attacked us out of the blue. We were holding our own in the siege until that thing nearly killed him. We had no choice but to run.¡± The room fell silent at her words. The monocle-wearing dog asked urgently, ¡°Was it a form like Aku but smaller? With a dark mist?¡± The observer was surprised that they could describe the creature she and Hamza had encountered. Her focus shifted to the monocle-wearing dog as she replied with a twitch of anger in her eyes, ¡°Yes!¡± The room plunged into an eerie silence at her confirmation. Their heartbeats seemed to stop. ¡°We are doomed! It¡¯s one of the seve-¡± the monocle-wearing dog began to explain before several dogs abruptly ran for their lives from the central building, screaming in fear. The phrase ¡°one of the sins¡± echoed through the room as hope drained from their eyes. The monocle-wearing dog shuddered as he continued, ¡°T-th-the Seven Sins of the world¡ The sons and daughters of Aku¡ All of them have this form of darkness. They have been ravaging the world for a millennium. This battle is over. No one can challenge them.¡± His explanation, coupled with the reactions of others, made the observer waver. This is far too different from the original events. Will he be able to overcome this? Or¡ This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it She caressed Hamza¡¯s head as she pondered their fate. Will we die here? What was your plan? She observed Hamza, who lay still except for a twitching finger. His eyelids finally opened and blinked, adjusting to the light. His critical injury had completely healed with his awakening. The observer was filled with happiness, but it was short-lived as Hamza¡¯s first words were, ¡°Jack.¡± Hamza bit his lips and his bloodshot eyes told a story of their own. As he coughed out more words, the observer just listened. He must be loathing himself. The observer looked at Hamza in silence. ¡°We need to escape from here with Jack. This is a suicide mission now¡¡± Hamza¡¯s low voice was drowned out by the screams and howls of the dogs that had just fled the building. Everyone¡¯s gaze turned towards the exit. It found us. Hamza stood up, his breath heavy but steady. He quickly dressed in his jacket and pants, gearing up with whatever he could find in the nick of time. The dogs present were in disarray. He strolled past them towards the exit doors, with the observer trailing behind him. ¡°Observer, listen closely,¡± he said, his voice firm. ¡°I don¡¯t care about anything right now except Jack. As soon as we see him, we are making a run for it using your portals.¡± ¡°We can¡¯t face that thing again. The Seven Sins¡ they are too much for even Jack.¡± Observer nodded in agreement, her hand gripping her weapon tightly as they stepped out of the building in haste. A figure stood alone amidst the corpses of the dogs, its form blurred by the dark mist swirling around it. Its yellow eyes stared at them unblinkingly. Hamza and the observer were on guard as soon as they saw her. The observer glanced at her trembling hands. ¡°Amusing,¡± the figure spoke in a throaty voice with a feminine pitch. ¡°How did you escape without me noticing?¡± It approached them, but they backed away. Hamza smiled, seeing that instead of attacking them on the spot, it seemed amused. ¡°Oh, you know,¡± he said casually. ¡°Magic trick. Abracadabra. Your vanishing trick was nice though. Would have killed me if you aimed at my heart though. Miss Gurina, one of the seventh spawn of sins.¡± Provoking it might be stupid, but boring speeches would bore it too. It was a gamble, but he just needed to stall for time. Its laughter echoed around the area at his words. The laughter slowly died out but another sound took over - the clanking of battle droids¡¯ limbs soon filled the area with their sounds. ¡°I like you,¡± she said after a moment of silence. ¡°It¡¯s been ages since I found amusement in hunting. Where is the samurai?¡± ¡°The feeling is mutual,¡± Hamza replied, his body tense with anticipation. ¡°Though it¡¯s unfair that you have an army of droids though. Wouldn¡¯t it be fun if you see us take them down and face you in a 2v1? The samurai is running late. He should be here any moment now.¡± He only had a few hours until he reached the time limit of his ability. ¡°Hmm,¡± she said nonchalantly as she stood still amidst the swirling dark mist. Both of them waited for her answer, ready for a confrontation. ¡°No. Instead, how about I give you a choice? Let the droids kill all those in that building, or I end this right now?¡± Gurina¡¯s voice was cold and emotionless. Before Hamza could answer, both he and observer were thrown back by a gust of wind. Gurina, who had been standing a hundred meters away, was now just a few feet from them. They quickly scrambled to their feet. Hamza¡¯s legs trembled, but he didn¡¯t falter. ¡°I smell fear¡± Gurina said, her voice echoing ominously in the silence. ¡°So what will it be? Your life or theirs? I want to hear you scream who should live, my sweetie,¡± Gurina said, her gaze shifting to the dogs watching from afar through the window of the central building. Her arms morphed into delicate hands of a woman as she lifted Hamza¡¯s head, which was bowed down in moral dilemma. Looking at her with contempt, he furiously made his decision without hesitation. The observer could only watch with fear in her eyes. Her body wouldn¡¯t listen to her commands. She wanted to blast that thing away but her trembling hands did not move. Hamza made his decision swiftly so as not to anger the thing. I¡¯m sorry ¡°I choose us!¡± He screamed out loud, his voice echoing with hopelessness. Gurina grabbed both of them by their throats and threw them behind her as she snapped her fingers. They skidded on the terrain a few meters away before managing to stand up. The droids that had been silently watching from afar suddenly sprang into action, rushing past Hamza and the observer and into the building. The echoes of slaughter and screams filled the area as the droids spared no one and brutally chopped away anything in their path. A few dogs managed to escape the building but didn¡¯t make it far. Hamza didn¡¯t dare to look as he knew there was nothing he could do. A voice made him look towards its source. The monocle dog was crawling towards him, half of his lower body cleaved off cleanly. He repeated the same words over and over again. ¡°Run lad, escape,¡± he said before being squashed like a bug by Gurina who giggled in amusement. ¡°They always have such interesting faces in near death. Ahahaha,¡± Gurina laughed out loud as Hamza watched in horror. The words made him remember his past - a burning memory of a boy who said the same words as his surroundings were engulfed in flames. He fell to the ground as a panic attack seized him. All sounds dulled as he could hear nothing but his own heartbeat getting faster and faster. His vision blurred slightly. A slap brought him back to reality. ¡°Snap out of it¡¡± A barely audible voice reached Hamza¡¯s ears - the familiar voice of Jack who was covered in black oil. Jack looked at Gurina who was standing near the broken-down building laughing as it collapsed under the sheer weight of all the droids that had swarmed into it. The rubble and debris created a dust cloud that covered the entire mining operation. The dust soon settled with a gust of wind clearing everything. Gurina¡¯s laughter died out. ¡°The samurai is here. My master told me about you, samurai. I wonder if you are as formidable as I was told,¡± she said with a giggle her voice echoing ominously in the silence. Chapter 20 : Despair of the sin A deafening silence gripped the battlefield. The swarm of battle droids stood frozen, their cold eyes fixed on the last three standing. Jack stared down Gurina, unyielding. Hamza and Observer darted glances across the carnage, grappling with the suffocating stillness¡ªblood from the slaughtered dogs pooled at their feet, a crimson river soaking the ruined mining operation. Hamza¡¯s chest tightened, breathe shallow as if a blade pressed to his throat. The droids¡¯ scythe-like appendages, dripping with gore, hovered, awaiting orders. He caught Observer¡¯s gaze¡ªher face locked in shock¡ªand took a steadying breath. His hand found hers, gripping tight until she jolted back to reality, clinging to him. His eyes flicked to Gurina, then to Jack, who returned a fleeting look. Hey, system... You know what I''m thinking, right? If so then start making them. A system message popped up as soon as he thought about it. ¡°Got you fam¡± ¡°Aw, I¡¯m feeling left out,¡± Gurina taunted, her voice cutting through the tension. ¡°Droids, gut the pests¡ªleave the samurai. My master¡¯s itching for his head.¡± Her form twisted, sprouting grotesque appendages, a monstrous hybrid of flesh and nightmare. ¡°Jack! Swallow it!¡± Hamza bellowed, his voice cutting through the chaos as he hurled a pill with haste. In the same motion, he slammed a smoke bomb against the cracked concrete. The little device popped on impact, erupting with a hiss and a thick, gray mist that billowed outward like a living thing. Within seconds, the haze swallowed them whole, a choking shroud that stung the eyes and muted the world. Fifty GP for that? Hell yeah, Hamza thought, grinning despite the madness¡ªa damn bargain.
Smoke bomb GP points
little bomb pops off with impact, kicking out a fat mist before you even notice. Blink, and¡ªpoof¡ªyou¡¯re swimming in it, total haze. 50 GP? Dude, that¡¯s a steal if you ask me
Droids surged through the fog, their sleek metal forms glinting faintly as they slashed blindly. Sparks flew as scythe-like appendages cleaved through their own kind in a frenzied bid to reach Hamza and Observer. The air rang with the screech of steel on steel, a symphony of destruction underscored by the sharp tang of oil and scorched circuits. Jack lunged for the pill, fingers brushing its smooth surface, but a tendril of dark mist¡ªGurina¡¯s mist¡ªshot out like a whip. It snared the pill mid-flight with eerie precision, curling around it like a serpent. ¡°You think I¡¯d miss that?¡± Gurina snarled, her voice a guttural rasp that scraped against the silence, raw and venomous. She stepped forward, her silhouette a jagged tear in the haze, and popped the pill between her teeth. The crunch echoed, deliberate and mocking, as she savored the bitter snap. Jack¡¯s jaw tightened, fury blazing in his hazel eyes. With a guttural yell, he swung his katana upward in a desperate, gleaming arc, the blade whistling through the air. but Gurina dissolved into the haze, her laughter echoing¡ªa sound like ice cracking over dark water. As the smoke began to thin, drifting away in lazy tendrils, the droids stuttered to a halt. Their glowing optics scanned the scene, searching for bodies to confirm the kill. Instead, they found only their own¡ªhulking shells crumpled in heaps, oil pooling beneath them like black blood, their scythes dripping with the evidence of their confusion. A faint hum pulsed through the air, and one of the droids twitched its head upward. Above them, the atmosphere swirled, a ripple of energy tearing open into a jagged portal. It hung there, a gaping maw framed by crackling blue light, spitting faint sparks onto the wreckage below. A portal tore open with a vacuumous thoom, its edges crackling with unstable energy. Hamza and Observer crouched at the precipice, their outlines sharp against the portal¡¯s pulsing violet light. Hamza¡¯s breath came in ragged gulps, sweat streaking through the grime on his face as he clutched his mangled shoulder¡ªa gash split his flesh from collarbone to elbow, raw and glistening. Blood sheeted down his arm, pattering onto the stone below like rain. ¡°Fuck¡ª!¡± he snarled, spitting a glob of crimson. His eyes burned brighter than the portal¡¯s glare. ¡°Still breathing, ain¡¯t I?¡±Observer stood beside him, silent and unreadable, their cloak fluttering faintly in the otherworldly breeze. Below, the droids whirred, recalibrating, their optics locking onto them. Hamza¡¯s gaze was locked on the swarm, his eyes narrowed as he silently tallied their numbers. Beside him, Observer traced the jagged gash on his shoulder¡ªa fresh wound from their narrow escape through the portal. Blood seeped through his torn sleeve, the metallic scent mingling with the electric hum of the rift above. Her neon eyes, glowing with circuit-like patterns, flicked downward to the droids. Cold malice simmered in her stare, sharp and unyielding. Within seconds, the beetle-like droids snapped to attention. Their iridescent wings buzzed to life, a low, menacing drone that filled the air as they launched skyward. Dozens of them¡ªmaybe a hundred¡ªsurged toward the portal, their scythe-like appendages gleaming with lethal intent, slicing through the wind as they closed in on Hamza and Observer. ¡°You sure about this?¡± Hamza asked, his voice tight but steady, eyes darting to the dark mass of droids drawing nearer. ¡°There¡¯s more or less a hundred down there. You remember the plan, right? Line ¡®em up.¡± He shot a glance at Observer, his brow creasing with a mix of doubt and adrenaline. She smirked, a flicker of a tense smile and amusement crossing her face. ¡°You still owe me that pet iguana, asshole,¡± she quipped, her tone dripping with defiance. Without another word, she leaped from the portal¡¯s edge, plummeting through the sky like a missile. The rush of air roared in her ears, tugging at her cloak as the droids adjusted their trajectory, their wings thrumming louder. The droids pivoted, scythes slashing upward to meet her fall¡ªbut Observer¡¯s fists were already clenched. Observer¡¯s chest heaved as she drew a deep, shuddering breath. Rage and bloodlust churned within her, fueled by the memory of Hamza¡¯s pained grunt when the droids had slashed him earlier. Her body tensed mid-fall, muscles coiling as she channeled that fury into her core. With a snarl, she clenched her fist and threw a punch into the empty air. Telekinesis (evolving trait) T3 As the name suggests. An evolved version. Better and finer control and more weight can be handled. Has limits
The invisible force erupted from her strike, a ripple of raw telekinetic energy that slammed into the droids hurtling toward her with her even being near the droids. The front line crumpled instantly, flung backward like ragdolls, their metal shells screeching as the droids wrenched backward, slamming into the ground hard enough to crater concrete.. She threw another punch, then another, each blow unleashing a concussive wave that shattered the droids mid-flight. Shards of steel and sparking circuits rained down, littering the fractured ground. Dozens swarmed closer, relentless, but none could breach the devastating radius of her telekinetic fury. The earth groaned under the onslaught. Cracks spider webbed outward, rubble trembling as she unleashed her final strike. Her fist stopped inches from a droid¡¯s twitching form, the blow never connecting¡ªbut the sheer force birthed a shockwave. It tore through the air with a deafening boom, pulverizing everything within ten meters. Droid husks buckled and burst, oil gushing like dark geysers, pooling in slick, glistening puddles. Observer landed hard, her boots crunching into the debris-strewn ground, her breaths ragged and heavy. The air stank of burnt metal and ozone. She straightened, neon eyes blazing as they locked onto the twenty or so droids still twitching in the distance, their circuits flickering weakly. A low growl rumbled in her throat, her fists still clenched, as the battlefield settled into an eerie, oil-soaked silence. ¡°You worthless hunks of scrap!¡± Observer rasped, her chest heaving as she sucked in a ragged breath. Gritting her teeth, she clapped her hands with a sharp crack, the sound reverberating through the shattered landscape. An invisible force seized the remaining droids, wrenching them from their scattered positions. They jerked into a tight, trembling line mid-air, their beetle-like wings buzzing furiously as they squirmed like pinned insects. Sweat beaded on Observer¡¯s brow, her hands shaking with the strain of holding them aloft, muscles burning under the weight of her telekinetic grip. ¡°Now!¡± she screamed, her voice raw and splintered, desperation clawing at every syllable as her arms quivered. Several hundred meters away, Hamza crouched amidst the rubble of a collapsed building, clutching a weathered bow he¡¯d scavenged from the wreckage a spare a he made that was in bad shape. His left shoulder throbbed, blood soaking through his sleeve and dripping onto the cracked stone beneath him. He nocked a crimson jewel-tipped arrow, drawing the string back with a taut twang That sang through the air. Pain flared as he pulled harder, stretching the bow to its limit, his wounded arm screaming in protest. He squinted toward the chaos where Observer and Jack fought, the distant hum of droid wings and her piercing cry sharpening his focus. I won¡¯t miss this time, he vowed silently, her life teetering in his trembling hands. ¡°Boom,¡± He whispered, releasing the string. The arrow erupted with a sonic crack, tearing through the air like a thunderclap. A trail of furious winds spiraled in its wake, shredding debris and whipping dust into a frenzied storm. It streaked toward the droids in an instant, a crimson blur slicing through the first one¡¯s chest with a wet crunch, then the second, then the third¡ªcarving through their metal hides like butter. A chain of detonations erupting down the line. Fire engulfed the swarm, molten shrapnel raining down as the blast wave rolled outward, shaking the earth. Fire and shrapnel burst outward, the shockwave rattling the ground and hurling twisted remains skyward. The blast¡¯s roar yanked Gurina¡¯s attention from her prey. Her carapace shuddered¡ªa twitch she couldn¡¯t control¡ªas if her exoskeleton rebelled against her. Is this the strength of the samurai? she thought, her mind a swarm of dissonance. My strikes could sunder mountains¡ yet this flesh-bag still breathes? Something slithered beneath her chitin plates, like oil contaminated with grit, a cold, wrong sensation. She had Jack pinned beneath her, their blades locked in a screeching clash¡ªhis katana trembling against her razor-sharp appendages. One of her scythe-arms spasmed, the movement jagged, off-rhythm. Jack seized the hesitation, heaving upward with a guttural roar. Gurina¡¯s compound eyes flickered, their usual precision blurred at the edges. A glitch? Weakness? Me? Impossible Her mandibles clacked furiously, spraying acidic drool that hissed against Jack¡¯s armor. No. This is¡ interference. The thought slithered, unwelcome. Her body had never betrayed her before. Not like this. Not ever. Her cluster of eyes, glinting like polished obsidian, darted toward the fireball. As the smoke curled upward, she spotted them¡ªHamza and Observer, still alive, defiant amidst the chaos. Droid carcasses plummeted, clattering against the earth like broken toys, oil splattering in dark, glistening arcs. Gurina¡¯s grip on Jack froze, her blade locked against Jack¡¯s katana. Six insectoid eyes flickered toward the inferno. As ash settled over the battlefield. Her mandibles clicked, a sound like bones rattling in a tin can. The troublemakers still breathed. I am done with playing games Gurina thought as it locked eyes on them. ¡°Worthless junk,¡± Gurina growled, her voice a guttural snarl that vibrated through the air. With a vicious swing of her scythe-like arm, she sent Jack hurtling toward a jagged slab of broken wall. He crashed into the concrete with a bone-rattling thud, the impact stealing his breath. Gasping, he staggered to his feet, dust clinging to his sweat-soaked skin. His eyes locked onto Gurina¡ªjust in time to see her vanish, her form dissolving into a blur of an afterimage of a shadow. Jack¡¯s gaze swept the ruined landscape, landing on Observer. She knelt a dozen meters away, chest heaving, her neon eyes dim with exhaustion. Panic surged through him like wildfire. Too late. He bolted toward her, boots pounding the cracked earth, but dread clenched his gut as Gurina materialized behind her. The demon¡¯s elongated arm honed to a knife¡¯s edge, reared back for a wide, lethal arc. ¡°Take cover, Observer-san!¡± Jack¡¯s scream tore from his throat, raw and desperate. She was already moving, instinct driving her to roll aside as if death itself breathed down her neck. Gurina¡¯s strike missed its mark, the blade whistling through the air. It grazed Observer¡¯s hand, severing three fingers in a spray of blood. The force of the swing unleashed a shockwave of wind, a roaring gust that sliced through everything in its path¡ªrubble, twisted machinery, and the skeletal remains of buildings. Jack raised his katana to parry that swings shockwave, but the blast hurled him backward, his body skidding across the debris-strewn ground. Hamza, crouched behind a shattered pillar, ducked just as the wave roared overhead. The sheer power shoved him off balance, his bow clattering from his grip as he tumbled into the dirt. Dust swirled thick and choking, settling slowly over the wreckage. Every structure in its path within the mining operation city lay in ruins, its towering structures cleaved like paper, collapsing in a cascade of broken steel and stone. The echo of that single slash lingered, a low, menacing rumble that seemed to shake the sky itself. Jack hauled himself up, his wide eyes struggling to process the devastation¡ªone swing from that demon henchman had torn the world apart. Observer¡¯s piercing screams snapped him back to reality. Hamza was already sprinting toward her, teeth gritted, his face pale with horror. She clutched her mangled hand, blood soaking the ground in dark, glistening pools. Her severed fingers lay nearby, stark against the gray dust, as she pressed her wrist tight to stem the flow, her breaths ragged with pain. How the hell is that thing still standing? hamzas mind raced as he rushed to her side. Jack scooped her up with frantic haste, her weight slumping against him, warm and trembling. With his katana gripped in one hand, he bolted for the nearest cover¡ªa crumbling wall a few paces away. Her anguished cries sharpened his senses, his heart hammering as he stole glances over his shoulder. Gurina didn¡¯t pursue. She stood frozen, her towering form eerily still. Chapter 20 : Despair of the sin part 2 ¡°What have you done to me, you filthy little runt?¡± Gurina¡¯s voice erupted, frantic and jagged, as she thrashed her scythe-arm wildly. She slammed it into the ground, the earth quaking with a dull boom, but her strikes lacked their usual precision. Her body faltered, sluggish and unsteady, as if weighed down by an unseen force. She sniffed the air, mandibles twitching, but no scent reached her. Rubbing her cluster of eyes with a trembling claw, she found only darkness¡ªher vision blurred, fading at the edges. The screams of her enemies, even her own furious roars, dissolved into a dead, suffocating silence. Something was wrong, slithering beneath her chitin like a poison she couldn¡¯t name, and for the first time, the demon staggered, betrayed by the shell she¡¯d always trusted. No scent of blood. No sound of screams. Just¡ nothing. Darkness. Her flesh melted and knitted itself back together in grotesque waves¡ªmuscles contorting into unstable mutations, carapace cracking only to seal with oily sinew. It wasn¡¯t healing. It was unraveling. Interference. Sabotage. The words hissed through its mind, cold and foreign. Gurina thrashed wildly, rage boiling as her body betrayed her¡ªa puppet with half its strings cut. Cancerous growths bulged along her limbs, then dissolved into sludge. Hamza sprinted toward Jack and Observer, his boots kicking up dust as he tore off his shirt in one swift motion. He dropped to his knees beside her, wrapping the fabric tightly around her bleeding hand. Blood soaked through the makeshift bandage, warm and sticky against his fingers, but he pressed harder, desperate to slow the flow. ¡°You¡¯re going to be fine, Observer,¡± he murmured, his voice a faint, trembling whisper. ¡°It hurts like hell, I know, but you¡¯re tough¡ªstronger than I¡¯ll ever be.¡± His eyes locked onto hers, soft with concern, as he cradled her wounded arm. She writhed beneath his grip, her gasps drowning out his words, the pain too loud in her ears to hear his comfort. Frustration gnawed at him. He fumbled in his pocket, pulling out three small pills that glinted faintly in the dim light. With gentle urgency, he pressed one into Observer¡¯s mouth, steadying her as she squirmed, her blood-slicked arm trembling in his hold. ¡°Swallow it,¡± he urged, his tone firm yet tender. Then he turned to Jack. ¡°You too, man¡ªeat it. We¡¯ve got maybe a minute before that thing snaps out of it. The pill I threw earlier? It was supposed to make her to weak and nearly kill it.¡± His gaze flicked toward Gurina, and his face darkened, a shadow of unease creeping into his frown. Hamza Ability

The thought shattered as vitality surged through him. He closed and reopened his fist, feeling the weight of his sword in its black sheath once more. But clarity brought a grim realization. ¡°No,¡± he said, his tone hard. ¡°We go for a killing blow once and run. This is not a fight¡ªit never was. That thing will butcher us when the pill¡¯s effects wear off.¡± ¡°I was going to say the same thing. We can try to strike it once but our first priority is escape. No questions¡± Hamza nodded, his jaw tight as he glanced at Observer. She lay still now, the pill working its magic, but it¡¯d take thirty seconds to pull her back from the brink. He crouched besides her, his expression bleak, mind racing. ¡°We wait for her to recover,¡± he said, though doubt laced his words. His eyes darted to the portal flickering above, its blue light casting faint shadows over the wreckage. Should we even try something this stupid? and just run for it? The earth shook again, Gurina¡¯s distant roars a brutal reminder of the clock ticking down.

We try to kill it and run the second we¡¯re done with one try ¡ªgot it?¡± Jack nodded sharply, his hand sliding to his sword¡¯s hilt. He drew it with a soft rasp, the blade glinting faintly in the light of the sun. Thirty seconds had ticked by. Observer stirred, her strength flooding back as the pill¡¯s effects took hold. Her severed fingers had regrown, flesh knitting seamlessly, and she flexed her hand, testing the unfamiliar wholeness. She blinked, senses sharpening, and spotted Jack and Hamza pressed against the crumbling wall. Their tense silhouettes stood out against the chaos beyond. Her ears rang, a shrill whine fading as the world¡¯s sounds crashed in¡ªGurina¡¯s guttural roars and shrieks of agony as she tore through everything in her path. Observer¡¯s breath hitched, her body locking up, hands trembling like they¡¯d been lit with sparks. Hamza flicked her forehead with a quick snap of his finger, jolting her back. He flashed a smirk, crooked but warm. ¡°You¡¯re high maintenance, you know that .¡± His gaze shifted, peeking around the wall¡¯s edge. ¡°Observer, open a portal¡ªthe farthest damn place you can manage. I don¡¯t care where, just away from this hellhole. We¡¯re will try to kill that thing but regardless of we succeed or not. We need an exit and will sprint here at full speed.¡± She opened her mouth to protest, but he cut her off with a sharp look. ¡°No bullshit, or no pet iguana¡ªdeal?¡± ¡±We will survive this. Just trust me.¡± A system message flared in his mind: [That was smooth. Shitty timing, though. That thing¡¯s way too dangerous for your level. Keep your distance.] Hamza¡¯s smirk twitched, a mix of worry and mischief. Wow, real shocker there. Thanks for the heads-up, huh? Useful when it counts, he thought, steeling himself. ¡°Let¡¯s move,¡± he said aloud, nodding to Jack. They split, darting to opposite sides of the ruined stretch. Observer¡¯s hands moved fast, conjuring a portal. The air warped and twisted, crackling with energy¡ªno soft white glow this time, just a jagged, unstable rift spitting faint sparks. Forty seconds had passed, and the ground still trembled under Gurina¡¯s distant wrath.
