《The world of mine》 Family dinner 50 years after the war now known as the "war for justice." With the Empire of Ires conquering the kingdom of Morit and slaying King Eris, another war looms on the horizon. Arta, an independent kingdom formed from the ruins of Morit, led by a new council of necromancers composed of former Morit nobility, resists the rule of the Empire and their united army of beastmen. The former Kingdom of Morit used necromancy for all hard work, which was normal for its citizens, the knowledge that after their own death they will continue to be an important part of the kingdom was not a reason to worry, besides, the families in which the death happened received compensation, and the undead service lasted only 10 years, otherwise the kingdom would be in danger of overpopulation. Undead service was the official reason for the war with the Empire. 10 years ago, a family of refugees from the Istast of the former Morit province, now part of the "Holy Kingdom", came to the Kingdom of Arta. The "Holy Kingdom" cooperated with the Empire in the "Justice War." Into this family was born a girl with crimson eyes like Ori''s moon, hair the color of elvish silver, and her name sounded like a poem from distant lands. "Eisa" called her mother Tenya. Eisa knew it was her turn to help her mother with dinner. "I''m coming." Called Eisa running down the stairs, looking towards her older brother''s room. "Mom won''t be happy about this." She thought, well understanding her brother''s reluctance. Eisa was not a normal child, aside from her exotic appearance compared to most of Arta''s Kingdom. Eisa had memories of her previous life as Henry, who was an aspiring writer, or so she thought of herself. Until the day of her tragic death. Eisa did not know much about the world due to the Imperial way of teaching, which was designed to smother any hopes of liberating Morit, even 50 years after its conquest. What she found extremely funny was the name of the empire and Kingdom of Arta, which reminded her of fragments from a book she once wrote. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it. When Eisa finally reached the kitchen, she was reprimanded by her mother. "You were supposed to wake up your brother." ¡°I''m sorry mom, but Anton said he''s not going to join the army, and I''m not supposed to wake him up.¡± Eisa said sadly. Tenya sighed, "When your father returns from duty, he will force him to serve in defense of the kingdom." She said then started peeling potatoes. Without further upsetting her mother, Eisa started peeling potatoes, wondering about the fate of the war she blamed the empire for, feeling powerless. Arges, the father of Eisa and Anton, was sent to the battlefront a month ago, right after the council of necromancers took over the former capital of Morit and announced the birth of the Kingdom of Arta. His return was to take place in a few days for the rotation of soldiers and regrouping, in this rotation Anton brother of Eisa as he was already 15 years old was to join the army. Some time later, Anton quietly came down the stairs smelling a curious smell that woke him up coming from the kitchen, he saw Eisa setting the table. ¡°Riste again?¡± He said loudly, not hiding his disappointment. Riste was a simple dish consisting mainly of potatoes, it was a popular dish among the middle-class population of the "Behenia" continent due to its favorable growing conditions. Anton Eisa''s older brother always had a penchant for arcane arts and the dark history of Morit, but always remained secretive about the subject due to his utter lack of any magical talent, yet insisted that the best way he could serve the kingdom would be if he became a mage. After lunch, Eisa set off towards the school, passing the market on the way, where she played with Taru her furry friend more than once. ¡°Hmm Taru must have left earlier.¡± Eisa thought. Since the founding of the Kingdom of Arta, Eisa''s daily lessons have changed drastically, no longer under the rule of the Empire, her teachings were dictated in a direction that was intended to strengthen the society of the Kingdom of Arta. On that day, she had an exam in basic magic and a written exam in Morit''s history, which was to test the knowledge of young people about the kingdom and its neighbors. School days: 1 Loud heavy footsteps echoed through the corridor of the school building, they belonged to a fat man dressed in gray and white robes. "I don''t like bloodshed." Professor Urad thought, remembering how Imperial soldiers were surrounded and then killed by organized civilians of the kingdom, the whole action had been planned for years by a group of rebels, and finally everything took place two days after the 50th anniversary of the Imperial victory. The professor had no special love for kingdom or empire, all he wanted was to enjoy a peaceful life. "Professor Urad." Turning lazily in the direction from which the voice came, the professor feigned surprise by recognizing the face of his assistant. ¡°Do you have all the tests?¡± asked the professor, not spending his time on unnecessary greetings. ¡°Yes, by the way, did you read these questions?¡± Dini asked. ¡°But of course.¡± He lied to hide his disinterest. ¡°I know the real purpose of these questions, but I don''t care about it at all as much as I do about the questions themselves.¡± ¡°And what do you think?¡± She asked honestly, wanting to know the professor''s opinion. ¡°Isn''t it obvious? Propaganda is always about propaganda." "Ehh?" Dini looked at the professor as if he had said that fish were birds. Her surprise was painted on her face. "There''s no propaganda there." She thought, but not wanting to show the professor that she did not understand him, she quickly agreed with him, which seemed to be what the professor was waiting for.Dini and the professor were heading towards the classroom to prepare it for the students. ¡°By the way, are the preparations for the magic part finished yet?¡± He asked. ¡°Yeah, it didn''t take long after all, it''s just the basics.¡± she replied. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. Eisa stared at the remnants of the Imperial soldiers that had been brought back to life by necromancy, currently busy carrying goods from port to market, but Eisa knew that soon they would be sent to the battlefield to support the kingdom''s army. It was the main hope of defeating the empire as well as the main reason for Morit''s downfall.Eisa didn''t understand what was going to happen differently this time, but she hoped there was a bigger plan. ¡°Hey Eisa!¡± called Taru, her furry friend who belonged to the animal-human race, he resembled a small white tiger, and the way he moved his tail always put Eisa in a good mood. ¡°Hey Taru, how are you and your sister?¡± Taru did not remember his parents, his older sister always took care of him. "Very good, although traffic in the store has been extremely slow lately, at least we have more time for ourselves." Eisa hugged Taru, loving his soft fur very much. "We have to go now, don''t let them wait for us." Eisa said. A large classroom whose main decorative motif was light wood and blue curtains on the windows. There was one wooden desk and chair for each student, and on each desk lay copies of a comprehensive exam, each page tinted slightly blue. ¡°A side effect of the Creation processor was it intentional?¡± Eisa thought. At that moment, a well-known obese man entered the room. Professor Urad stood proudly in the middle of a full hall, enjoying the students'' respect for the position he occupied in this very turbulent society, he hastily explained what was expected of the students and wished them good luck, and sat down at his desk watching the students'' efforts and at the same time savoring his dinner. Eisa had the opportunity to read the uncensored history of the kingdom for the first time in the form of an exam, looking towards Taru she nodded her head to give him courage, and started reading the first question herself. ¡°Huh¡¡± The first question gave Eisa a sense of familiarity. ¡°How did King Rob II unite the wild mermaid tribes in the fight against the general of the dark waters?¡± Eisa had never heard of King Rob II, so she wasn''t sure about her answer, so she decided to follow her instincts and answered the question the way a similar story in her book happened. "With the help of the tsunami staff..." She replied. "Alright time for the second question." But the second question seemed even stranger than the first. By the third, she was looking nervously around the room, looking for anything to distract her from the exam, just to get some peace of mind. ¡°Are you okay Miss Luner?¡± Professor Urad asked. "It''s nothing, everything''s fine, professor." She said and the professor went back to his lunch.Eisa went back to answering questions, each next one slowly gave her a nervous breakdown, until finally she answered all the questions according to her memories, after answering all 40 questions she was experiencing a medium existential crisis because she knew the answer to each of them. "It is impossible. My whole life in this world was really just a figment of my imagination? But it''s real, I''m sure, I would have noticed something so obvious a long time ago if it wasn''t.¡± At that moment, Eisa realized something very important. 50 years ago, the empire conquered Morit, meaning that the loyalists of the dragon queen are trying to liberate all her sealed generals, a month has passed since the creation of Arta, giving her about another month until Dir''haz, one of the queen''s more powerful generals, is freed. According to her book, General Dir''haza was to take control of much of the "Sidell" continent in the future. "Don''t panic, you''re only 10 and no super powers, no one expects you to do anything with it." she kept telling herself. ¡°Fuck, I have to do something about this.¡± "Time is up, leave the written exam and go to the practice room where we will take the exam in the magic part." The professor announced. Dragons and Gods The "war in heaven" happened 3,000 years ago. According to the records of the "holy kingdom" (which are ambiguous) it was started by wild dragons or false gods who intended to destroy the entire world. "And from the sky the filthy dragons were cast down, and with them their false gods..." - Notes from the book of the priest Jaren D''berno, about divine fights. ¡°False gods? Filthy dragons? Plain lies." said a distant voice, throwing the book into the fire. "I''ll tell you a true story." Alyssa watched as a group of children approached the fire. She took a cup of hot tea and sat down by the fire waiting for everyone to gather. ¡°Listen carefully, this story was told to me by my father and your uncle.¡± She said getting curious looks from the children. "Let''s start at the beginning, long, long ago, before there was a "war in heaven" There was a division between the gods, some who were completely absorbed in playing with mortal lives, were deaf to the unsettling behavior of some gods, gods later known as "false" or " bad"..." One of the children threw another book into the fire to keep it alive, looking at the burning monastery, a remnant of their last games. The screams have thankfully stopped. The monastery belonged to the priests, whom Alyssa had described with a particularly ugly and old word. It was their stop on their way to Ex''Nazul. Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on Royal Road. Alyssa continued after a short tea break. ¡°The false gods got bored with mortals And demanded the destruction of all mortal races, they wanted to create everything anew to their liking. In the meantime, the proud and powerful dragons, as one of the few races, opposed the gods, unwilling to be ruled by beings that they thought were not so great. The dragon queen Ri''Dra, already alive for thousands of years, as the oldest and most powerful of the dragons, declared a war on the gods that lasted 40 years." Part of the cloister''s roof collapsed as it fell in, burying part of the burning library, giving Alyssa another short break to finish her tea. After everyone lost interest in the monastery, she went back to her story. ¡°At the beginning of the war, the gods had a great advantage, not only in skill, but also in great power over most of the mortal races, giving them the greatest armies in the world. All would have been lost, but fortunately for the dragons, the evil gods took advantage of the ongoing war to betray their play-blinded brethren, turning a 2 armies war into a 3 armies war. 20 years after the beginning of the war, the gods made an alliance with the dragons to defeat a greater evil. The pantheon of "good" gods and the army of dragons faced the evil gods. Mortals divided between good, evil and dragons fought fierce battles on the ground while dragons and gods fought in a distant land of gods high above the clouds of "Calibrum of Souls." ¡°What is ¡°Calibrum of Souls?¡± Melani, the girl with red hair, asked. "Calibrum of Souls is a land where everything that exists, has existed or will exist exists, and that''s where the souls of the dead go when they are liberated" Alyssa replied, enjoying the children''s curiosity about their heritage. Alyssa went back to the story. ¡°When, after many victorious fights, the good gods were sure of victory, they decided to use the moment of vulnerability of the dragons to save themselves the trouble of finishing them later, but not everything went according to the gods'' plan, which led to the evil gods fleeing. And they themselves experienced a grueling battle with the dragons, without their mortal armies bloody battles ensued between them and the dragons. Many gods have fallen as well as ancient dragons; the gods sacrificed vast amounts of their power to defeat the dragons. Some of the ancient dragons too powerful to be slain by the gods were sealed and placed under mortal guard far from the land of the gods, the few dragons left without their ancient queen scattered around the world, the time has come for the "Wild Dragons" i.e. young dragons deprived of the care and knowledge of their parents, as you suppose, such dragons were quickly slain by God''s chosen ones." "And this is where we come in, descendants of the dragons." Alyssa said, greeted by loud applause from her family. "We will show this world how great the wrath of dragons is." School days: 2 In the center of the great hall, on the stone floor, was a heap of unusual objects. From wooden windmills, buckets of water, wax candles to stone pots with plants. They were part of the basic magic exam prepared by Dini. A large group of students ranging in age from 9 to 12 were lined up in front of them. "Come on Eisa, don''t panic, it''s okay, it''s not really happening, it''s just a dream, you''ll wake up soon." Eisa repeated to herself, looking behind her, trying to spot anything that would confirm her theories. ¡°Ew, who let that animal in here?¡± Emily said. Emili was the daughter of a wealthy merchant; she considered herself better than the rest of the students due to her wealth, only a small number of students were considered by her to be worth her precious time, Emili disliked the beastmen very much, not because they once helped the empire defeat Morit, but because of her father''s opinion of the superiority of the human race over others. Only a week ago, she had glued Taru''s fur to a chair with the help of some students who wanted to please her. Even up to now, Taru had bald spots in several places. Professor Urad, of course, ignored any complaints saying it was just child''s play between the students, allowing Emily to do whatever she wanted as long as her father didn''t bother him. Emily''s father came from a wealthy merchant house, and the new war with the empire made him even richer. Eisa thought that if she were to test her theory, Emili would be the perfect test subject for her. Eisa waited for Emila''s turn, then took a deep breath, imagining a blank sheet of paper in front of her, on which words taken from her thoughts slowly appeared. It wasn''t the ideal way to use her abilities, but it was a way she felt familiar. Suddenly one of the boys called out. ¡°Ew, Emili, the water test is over.¡± Pointing at the wet spot on Emily''s pants; all the students who didn''t like her burst out laughing including Eisa. Emili ran out of the room followed by Dini. Dini tried to control the situation by leaving the other students in the room. After 20 minutes, Dini returned with Emili who couldn''t look up from the floor, her pants having been dried with Dini''s magic. I have some time to think it over. I''d like to enjoy it a bit, what about the whole dragon queen thing? I''m afraid, I have tremendous power and the slightest mistake can be catastrophic. I must admit, such power has always been something I dreamed of, but I have time to make decisions step by step. For very difficult decisions." The practical part of the exam ended 20 minutes ago, Eisa used her newfound skills to keep up with the rest of the students. She had to dismiss Taru because he wanted to walk her home and she wanted to test her skills. Eisa walked outside the city limits, making sure she was alone, took a few breaths, then started freaking out. "The whole damn world is a figment of my imagination, my family, friends and maybe even I myself do not exist" Eisa thought without taking her eyes off the sky. ¡°And on top of that, this world is riddled with conflict, forcing its inhabitants to suffer senselessly, all because I wanted an interesting world.¡± After a long moment, Eisa made her decision. ¡°Fuck it. For me, my family, my friends, and this imaginary world matters, this is my new life, and I decide what''s real and what''s not." Eisa lay down on the grass and looked at the sky. ¡°Okay, time to start the first test.¡± She stretched her hand toward the sky, imagining the blank sheet of paper again. And in the sky, one of the clouds began to change its shape and color, turning into a pink unicorn-shaped cloud. ¡°Test one completed.¡± Eisa thought, maybe in her former life she would have chosen something else as her test, but not in this one. ¡°Henry died a long time ago. I''ll be what he could only dream of being. Myself." "Test two." Eisa changed her clothes into a purple jacket with a bow and comfy pants. ¡°No problems so far, I didn''t describe the appearance of the clothes, but I got what I wanted, so the test was successful. I should go home so they don''t worry." Eisa changed her clothes back and headed home. Eisa waited until it got dark and then, with the help of a mirror and her skill, she drew her reflection. Eisa stared at her copy, and the copy did the same. It wasn''t easy for Eisa, she planned to leave her family leaving behind her doppelg?nger and the inexplicable growth of gold coins in her family cache. Eisa left her house heading to the shop belonging to Taru''s sister, where she got inside with her skills. It was an alchemy shop with various herbs and potions on the shelves. Eisa decided to leave a large sum of gold coins in the back room and left. It was a way of saying goodbye to Taru even though he and her family wouldn''t even realize she was gone. "I guess I''ve never been good at goodbyes." Eisa thought, one tear rolled down her cheek. "I love you all, but it''s time for me." HEROES ARRIVE: 1 For the last time, Eisa set off outside the city walls towards the distant forest. She thought she would be stopped by the guards at this late hour, but she was completely ignored as the guards were engrossed in a card game. ¡°I''m going all-in.¡± ¡°Are you sure?¡± ¡°And you deaf?¡± Eisa heard the sound of breaking glass. ¡°Apparently, someone''s hand went wrong.¡± She thought without slowing down her pace, looking around her, trying to remember all the little things. ¡°Home.¡± Eisa reached the old sawmill, now empty due to the late hour. After making sure it was empty, she started getting ready. ¡°Step one and most important, a convincing disguise.¡± Eisa imagined a familiar blank piece of paper in front of her, which began to fill with words, and Eisa''s body was covered with a bright glow, giving rise to her transformation. It started with her height, she quickly reached two meters in height, her hair easily reached her feet while it seemed to be alive and independent of her movement; her eyes took on a dark green color and gave off a faint glow. Dressed now in white and green robes, she looked at her divine body, which gave off a luminous glow. ¡°I hope I look half as good when I grow up.¡± She thought, unable to get used to the difference in height, she used her power to start levitating, it gave her the effect of dignity. ¡°It''s not enough, and if so...¡± Eisa focused on the paper and soon received what she asked for. Now her every move left a slight echo in space that helped her to hide the details of her appearance. ¡°Perfect, now the hardest part.¡± ¡°HEROES ARRIVE.¡± If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. South of the "Holy Kingdom" there is the land of "Er''das" it was the site of the last dragonfight, even 3,000 years later the earth was scorched allowing nothing but a few plant species to grow, now its landscape shrouded in short red grass and purple bushes was seen by many as cursed. It was a place where remnants of the "war in heaven" can still be found today, and rapid wealth brought large numbers of adventurers. From dragon bones, scales to enchanted armor or weapons. The Order of the Morning had a stronghold in this accursed place called the Morninghold, it was an excellent colossal structure built after the war. It had five thick watchtowers, a huge gate reinforced with ancient rituals, and walls made of a mixture of stone and special crystals that were supposed to disperse magic, giving the fortress a blue-violet color. Deep beneath the keep were catacombs filled with past heroes and dragon remnants. In the deepest part of the keep was the cell of the badly wounded ancient dragon Belial, who had been sealed there by the storm god Na''re. Merid, the new recruit of the Order of the Morning, sat in the great hall drinking beer with the other recruits, waiting for Templar Hutso. An aged old man dressed in shimmering armor with the emblem of the rising sun. ¡°The only thing bigger than this fortress is Hutso''s forehead.¡± Said Jared one of the recruits, at which the rest stared at him with pity, not hiding their fear. ¡°He''s behind me, isn''t he?¡± Jared was hit with a powerful punch that spilled all the beer from the table and he fell to the ground groaning slightly. ¡°The only thing greater than this fortress will be your punishment. We will start by cleaning the deepest depths of the fortress. Merid, you''ll keep an eye on him, don''t think I forgot about your failed kitchen theft.¡± This was the moment the rest of the recruits started laughing at Merid and Jared, raising their beer mugs towards Hutso. Merid and Jared made their way up the winding staircase with Hutso armed only with cleaning items. They passed all the Templars in complete silence, the only unusual thing being Hutso''s strange laugh. ¡°This laugh gives me goosebumps, I''ve never heard him laugh like that before.¡± Merid thought, receiving Jared''s worried look. ¡°Okay, you two stay here while I have to do something else. I will be back soon.¡± Hutso said. In silence, Merid watched Jared clean out a cell with an ancient seal emanating powerful magic. ¡°Of the entire fortress, I dislike this place the most. Dragons terrify me, even if they''re sealed with holy magic.¡± Hutso came back, still laughing now and then. ¡°Thank you for your service, you may return to the surface.¡± ¡°Thank you Hutso.¡± We said in unison, then headed for the stairs. As we walked away from Hutso, Jared said. ¡°It was nice of him to forgive us, but¡¡± At that moment, we heard a terribly loud sound, followed by a loud roar, and the fortress itself shook. We quickly started running away towards the surface, we were just recruits. At the top of the tower, I and Jared stared at the burning fortress. Belial, freed, decided to burn down the entire fortress, most of the templars were already dead. ¡°We couldn''t defeat the ancient dragon even if it was wounded, we need a miracle.¡± Belial decided to slow down, seeing that his fun could end too soon. ¡°Traitors, puppets of the gods!¡± shouted furious Belial as he climbed the last tower of the keep. ¡°It''s over now, goodbye friends. I regret my career choice.¡± He thought. ¡°HEROES ARRIVE.¡± Not a chapter: 1 Hello everyone, I would like to thank you. I decided to create short tidbits about which have not yet been presented in the book or will not be. Allowing readers to speculate. Things like this may pop up from time to time. If you are not interested, you can skip this element, it has nothing important to the plot. Did you know that all half-dragons that live to be 500 years old are considered lesser dragons. This is due to the dragon''s blood being very powerful, slowly changing the body of a half-dragon. Alyssa is the only half-dragon to have attained dragon transformation powers at the age of 200, which allows her to transform. The more difficult the transformation, the harder it is to maintain it. The person responsible for Henry''s death is [REDACTED] Eisa is afraid to use her powers on a global scale, but has always wanted a fantastic adventure. Eisa has never been fond of her former life, although she loved her former family and friends, she never felt like herself. Eisa''s book was called "The world of mine" There are many religions in the Holy Kingdom, but not all of them are considered acceptable, leading to many disputes. Many religions have their own army independent of the ruler of the state. The citizens of Arta believe in the god of death, although he belongs to the group of "good gods", he is terrifying to most of the world due to his unusual blessings. HEROES ARRIVE: 2 Ten kilometers from the nearest apartment building, in the middle of the forest, there was an old abandoned resort. It was a two-story building from the Cold War era, there were many rumors about secret military experiments or mysterious disappearances. The building was officially vacated in 1970. There were three disappearances in the area between 1970 and 1980, people associated with the missing people mentioned their conversations with the missing people about their desire to investigate the abandoned resort before they went missing. Year 2018 Johnny, a 17-year-old blond man, went with his friends on a paranormal hunt, believing the resort to be haunted. He was a great lover of the paranormal and fantastic, had a large collection of books on the occult, and hoped to make contact with the inexplicable, regardless of the consequences. The car stopped in an overgrown parking lot. Old car wrecks were resting here, long abandoned by their former owners. Rusted barrels and faded resort posters strewn across the worn asphalt. ¡°We have arrived.¡± Emma said as she got out of the car and headed to the trunk. Dan our driver pulled out a large brown bag, and I took the camera, wanting to document everything, I turned on the recording. ¡°Hello everyone, my name is Emma, we are paranormal investigators, we are located in an old Cold War resort that we have heard rumors about, secret experiments and disappearances.¡± Emma pointed at Dan. ¡°Everyone say hello to our driver Dan, he''s our gear specialist. Johnny show yourself to the camera.¡± ¡°And this is Johnny our psychic and occult specialist, give him a warm applause!¡± ¡°Okay, okay, enough of this. It''s time to act!¡± We climbed the creaking stairs, checking each floor. Just a pile of garbage and homeless remains, nothing of note, and our EMF meter didn''t budge. ¡°Check low frequencies.¡± ¡°Silence.¡± ¡°Keep going, Johnny, do you feel something?¡± ¡°No, we need to choose a room and get it ready.¡± It was starting to get dark, it was the perfect time, I took out my notebook and chalk and drew Sumerian signs used by mystics, made some circles of salt and placed objects in them that served as focus points. Dan placed the candles and his devices. Emma, the star of our group, made sure we didn''t forget anything, and we proceeded to summon the spirits. This novel is published on a different platform. I stood in the middle of a dark room lit only by candlelight, holding my notebook with phonetically prepared text in Sumerian in my hands, trying to influence supernatural forces to give us some sign. Just then, we heard a sound coming from downstairs. ¡°Dan, report!¡± ¡°Nothing, I''ll go check it out and be back. Be careful.¡± ¡°You mean yourself?¡± ¡°It will only take a moment, don''t worry.¡± We continued our ritual, checking the equipment sporadically with no effect. Then I felt a presence in the room. ¡°He will die and you will be next.¡± ¡°Did you hear that?¡± ¡°What?" Emma answered. ¡°That voice said we were going to die.¡± ¡°I didn''t hear anything and the equipment didn''t detect anything. Are you sure you heard something?¡± We heard a loud scream coming from downstairs, Emma ran out of the room without saying a word, heading downstairs. ¡°Wait!" I screamed running after her, when I was in the doorway I looked at the room one last time, I could have sworn there was something standing where Dan had been before. Wasting no more time, I ran after Emma. Together with Emma, we found a descent to the basement from where there were disturbing sounds. ¡°Tell me you''re not serious.¡± Emma said. ¡°Someone has to, I was carrying a knife just in case.¡± ¡°Why did you have a knife?¡± ¡°I wasn''t sure if it would be useful for the ritual, so I carried it around if needed.¡± ¡°I''m going down, you guard the entrance.¡± Darkness surrounded me, illuminated only by the glow of my phone, my footsteps echoing across the flooded basement floor. Old washing machines and clothes baskets were everywhere, and I felt like I was suffocating in the mustiness of this vile place. ¡°Dan, Dan.¡± I spoke his name half aloud in the darkness. And the silence seemed to drown out my voice. I reached the end of the room and there was an old metal door. I went inside, and was immediately grabbed by something in the darkness; strong long hands dragged me across the floor blocking my mouth. I was tied to a chair along with two people I didn''t know. Suddenly someone turned on the light. There were seven people in front of me, each of them had a tattoo on their face and machetes and pistols. ¡°Okay, what the fuck is this all about!¡± said the man in the suit. ¡°Wait, I''ll call the boss.¡± Said another man with glasses. Jane and Michael were siblings and their father was a drug dealer, the problem was that he dealt outside his territory. And the siblings have been caught by an angry drug gang and taken to an abandoned building in the middle of the forest. ¡°Our father''s fucking sins! And so ends the adventure of the Jackson siblings.¡± thought Jane, strapped to a chair. Some time later, two of their kidnappers came out of the basement to check the bellowing coming from upstairs, but returned alone. ¡°We''ve solved the case.¡± they said. Five minutes later someone entered the basement. He was quickly overpowered and joined our merry gathering. ¡°Oh, ok. We''ll do that boss, too bad.¡± ¡°So what are we doing?¡± After a moment of sigh, he said. ¡°He didn''t show up, no ransom. The boss said to get rid of them.¡± ¡°What about this guy?¡± ¡°Him too.¡± A strange beeping was coming from our new companion''s pocket. ¡°What''s that, a bomb?¡± Said the bespectacled thug taking the device out of his pocket. The lights started flashing, a red light came on on the device. A dark presence entered the room. The bandits, not giving the intruder a chance, started shooting at him, but to no avail. Jane heard something like mumbling coming from the entity. With each subsequent meter traveled by the creature, hatred could be felt, the color was fleeing from the faces of the bandits who were closest to the creature. A bright light engulfed Jane, Michael, and Johnny. ¡°HEROES ARRIVE.¡±
