《Unspoken Borders: When Love Transcends Nations》 Bella Standing on the sidewalk letting the rain drops fall and splash against her face was something she desperately needed. The sky was dark, not a star in sight. The rain beating down with a vengeance. It was as if the weather could feel what was coursing through her. The only visible light was down the road, the streetlight was barely above a dim flickering light in the distance. She was alone, on the sidewalk, with her thoughts. This is the one place she always hated to be. When she would get to this spot, she would emotionally spiral, it was if this storm knew this was coming and would be waiting for her. She closes her eyes to take a deep breath. In and out she thinks as she tries to calm her racing heart and the thoughts that plagued her mind. Life should not be this hard. Nobody was around and she was screaming on the inside for help. She felt so alone that not even the sound of the truck engine caught her attention. She was in her own world starring off into the abyss wondering what was wrong with her. He clapped his hands to get her attention. How could such a beautiful woman look like she had the emotions of the world thrown onto her shoulders. She did not look weak by any means, nor did she look fragile. You could tell that something was running through her mind. How could he get her out of her own head and back to reality? Saying miss didn¡¯t bring her back to reality. Asking if she needs help didn¡¯t get her attention either. He was worried she would catch a head cold if she was out here much longer. The rain was coming down hard and fast. The radio station said the amount of rain they would get was alarming. The last time it rained the town had flooded. He had to get the sandbags laid. He was worried though. How could he help her when she seemed a million miles away? She looked up and saw a man staring at her. His mouth was moving but she could not focus enough to hear what he was saying. The sound of his truck purring made her question what was going on. Without hesitation she stepped towards his truck. Placing her hand on the door handle she asked if he could take her home. Before he could even respond to her, she opened the door to the cab climbing up into the passenger seat. She realized she was drenched. When did the rain pick up? It was almost as if he could read her mind, he asked if she would like a blanket. ¡°Yes, please¡±, if I may that would be great. After she had been handed the blanket, it dawned on her that she had yet to introduce herself. ¡°I am Isabella, I go by Bella for short¡±. What is your name she inquired. Surprised by her confidence of hopping into his truck without knowing him, he only had one thought. She needed to be saved or she needed someone to save her from something. All he knew is wherever she wanted to go he would take her no questions asked. She was so soft spoken and even drenched from this storm she was beautiful. Her eyes glowed under the storm. They were a beautiful magnetic blue. Snapping back to the present he realized she was talking. The only part that he had heard was ¡°I go by Bella for short¡±. Not wanting her to think he was rude he introduced himself. In a husky deep voice he said, ¡°I am Lorenzo, if you would like to, you can call me Leo¡±. He had a very thick accent that made it hard for others to understand him. Bella turned her face to Lorenzo. He had very masculine features. His eyes were so soft, and she swore they were the most beautiful eyes she had even seen let alone gazed into. She was captivated by his eyes and his smile. She felt safe when she looked into his eyes. How could someone that she had never met before making her feel as if everything would be okay. Turning away before she could be caught blushing, she wondered if he could tell that he was able to calm her internal storm down. Did he notice me staring at him? Why was this storm beating down so hard? She had so many questions running through her mind that she did not hear the question that Leo had asked her. Looking at Bella you could tell that she had a lot going on. She was very fair skinned, the bluest of eyes he had ever seen, and the most beautiful blonde hair that went down her back to her waist still framing her face perfectly. Her lips were a perfect pouty yet not pouty pink. She was still shivering though. Leo asked, ¡°would you like for me to turn on the heater for you, so that you can get warm?¡± With her actively shivering he wanted nothing more than to make sure she was protected. Not getting an answer, Leo went ahead and turned the heater on. He wondered if she had felt the pull between them as their eyes locked with one another¡¯s. Leo put the truck into drive and started to pull away. Bella watched as the buildings passed by the passenger side of the car. I should tell him I am not from here. She was curious and wanted to see where he was taking her. To her surprise he had pulled up to the police station and hopped out. A tall officer that looked a lot like Leo came out. The man was maybe a good twenty-five to thirty years older than Leo. He had the same masculine features that Leo had. There was only one difference and that was the amount of white hair the officer had. They must be related in some way she thought. Possibly an uncle, cousin, nephew, or father? The two men even stood similarly it really was uncanny. Leo walked up to his dad, ¡°Papa, I found this girl standing in the rain on the side of the road¡±. ¡°She climbed into my truck, and I didn¡¯t know where to take her¡±. Leo kept looking back at the truck. He didn¡¯t want to leave her alone for to long. He was worried about her. Surely if anyone would know what to do it would be his father, Fernando. He was the sheriff of this town. Looking to his father for answers Lorenzo asked what he should do. If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. Fernando and Leo walked over to the vehicle. He had his son introduce the young lady to him. Without hesitation his son did as he was asked. Walking over with Leo, Fernando noticed that his son had not laid one sandbag. After seeing the passenger seat and looking at the young lady Fernando understood why his son had not completed his given task. Knocking on the window Fernando asked if the young lady could roll down the window. To his surprise she rolled the window down immediately. ¡°Hello miss, I am Fernando, my son Lorenzo told me he saw you standing on the side of the road is this true¡±? If this is true, you mind me asking where you are from, or where your home is so that we can get you there safely¡±. Bella could not believe that Fernando was Lorenzos father. Yes, these two men looked so similar, but Fernando did not look old enough to have a son in his late thirties to early forties. Gasping she could see the similarities in both men. It was like they were looking in the mirror. Answering Fernandos question she responded with, ¡°I am Isabella, you can call me Bella if you want. I am not from around here. I took the first red eye out of New York. When I landed here, I asked the taxi driver to take me to the closet town. I went into the bookstore to buy a guide and to check out any local authors. I got lost in a book and did not realize how late it had gotten.¡± The bookstore owner came over and told me that the book would be here for me tomorrow, but she could feel there was a storm brewing. She needed to close the shoppe and get home to her children. ¡°I then grabbed my purse and stepped out onto the sidewalk¡±. After hearing her recants of the events that took place Fernando asked if she would mind waiting in the truck. He could tell there was something different about this girl. He couldn¡¯t put his finger on it just yet, but the way that his son and Bella looked at each other it was like they had known one another from a past life or something along those lines. The energy he felt between his son and this young lady was something he hadn¡¯t seen or felt in a very long time. Not since he met his wife, Maria. Asking Leo to walk with him, he asked his son if he could feel there was a connection there. His son responded there was something about her. This made Fernandos feelings even more confirmed. This was his son¡¯s person. His son¡¯s soulmate if you care to believe in things like that. His wife told him when they met that they were supposed to spend their lives together. He was happy for his son. He had been waiting a long time for this moment. Fate is the only thing he could think of that would have brought Bella to this town. Bella watching the two men walk away wondered what they were discussing. She could feel a static pull to Lorenzo. It was something she could not explain. This was worrying her because her mind was traveling at the speed of light. She needed the explanation as to why there was phenomenon. As Leo was walking away part of her felt like she was being pulled away. She could not understand why, but she knew she needed to be next to him and have him next to her. He made her feel warm and safe. There was a fire deep in her that she was not able to explain. It burned stronger when he was around her. Watching him take every step away from the truck felt as if it was crushing her. As she was about to get out of the cab Leo turned around and wondered over to the driver side with a smile on his face. How can this man be so attractive in everything he does she thought. After speaking with his father Leo knew why he was pulled to Bella. It made sense that his father would know how he was feeling because of how his papa looked at his mom with complete adoration. This is how Leo was feeling about Bella. He knew deep in his soul that they were supposed to be together. He didn¡¯t know that during this storm he would meet with person he was meant to spend the rest of his life with. Saint Michael really likes to throw curve balls at them. Grabbing the door handle he opened the door to the truck and climbed up to settle next to Isabell. Starting the engine Leo started to drive away. His papa gave him something to really think about, should he tell her that he can feel the pull between them? To get his mind off of forever Leo turned his head slightly towards Bella asking her if she would be okay staying in his family home, if she was not there was a guest house she could stay in on the property. If that also didn¡¯t work, he could take her a little further down the road to his Nonna¡¯s home. Not wanting to overstimulate her Leo reached over to turn on the radio it was barely above a whisper, but the music was peaceful and light. In that moment it was very much welcomed. She sat there thinking about how things would be different if she had stayed in New York. She wouldn¡¯t be caught in this storm that seemed so personal. Listening to Leo start up the truck engine she wondered if should say anything about the energy between them. Coming back to reality Bella realized Leo had been driving for a few minutes. She had no idea how she could ever repay the kindness that Leo and his father, or as he said papa had shown her. These two were opening their home to a stranger. How could she tell him that she wanted desperately to stay with him. He is who she felt safe with. She had never found home until she met him. When was next to her everything in the world felt right. The radio playing quietly in the background made Bella smile. It was peaceful yet such a romantic instrumental. Looking at Leo his perfect jaw line sent shivers down her spine. Her voice barely louder than the radio let Lenny know that she wanted to stay with him. She watched as his face softened under what she had said. How could she a woman this man barely knows have such power to soften a man she barely knew. Lorenzo When Bella said she wanted to stay with me it made my heart flutter. It was as if every blood cell in my body was awoken, and every nerve was dancing on end. I couldn¡¯t help but smile knowing that she would be safe with me. I knew I would never let anything bad happen to this woman. Just the thought of something bad happening caused my stomach to drop. Glancing over at her she was glowing, if the moon had been out, she could have taken my soul from my body and claimed it as hers. I couldn¡¯t help but wonder how she could be so content with a stranger. Were they strangers though? It was as if they really had known one another for their whole lives and maybe even more. Bella thinking, I could tell there was something that Leo had wanted to say. Why were they so nervous around one another? I decided to unbuckle my seatbelt and I moved into the middle seat. Laying my head on his shoulder while he was driving felt amazing and right. Every worry, doubt, or uneasy feeling was instantaneously gone. Feeling his warmth, smelling a heavenly scent of rain mixed with sandalwood on him, listening to his heartbeat, and the calming of his breathing with his chest rising and falling forced my eyes to close. It¡¯s as if my body knew what it needed. I was safe, happy, I was where I belonged. Having these thoughts made me smile as I drifted off into a peaceful slumber. She surprised me when she unbuckled. Was she wanting to escape? No, she slid to the middle seat right next to me. She was so close to me that I could warm vanilla with hints of water lily and the rain. She smelt incredible. She skin was so soft. I noticed when she laid her head on my shoulder. Instinctively I placed my hand on her thigh. My fingertips tingling as they touched her perfect skin. She didn¡¯t move my hand from her thigh. She didn¡¯t move away either. We still had about a forty-five-minute drive until we would be home. I love how it sounded saying home with her. Listening to her breath I could tell she had fallen asleep. She was like an angel sleeping peacefully on me. I knew right then I would give the world for this woman. She had me woven around her fingers. She could ask me for anything, and I would give it to her plus the world. If this was true love, I never wanted it to end or change. I just wanted it to grow and turn into the most beautiful love story anyone could want. Waking up she thought to herself how did she get into this room? How did she get into this oversized t-shirt. So many questions going through her mind. Feeling under the shirt she found that her panties and bra were still on. She started to calm down. After taking a few deep breaths she started to look around. This room was huge. Masculine furniture yet the paint on the walls and the bedding were light almost feminine in nature. Drawing the curtains open she realized that there was a balcony. Dawning on the red satin robe tying it around her waist, she stepped out onto the balcony. There was a beautiful wrought iron table and matching chairs. Taking a seat at this adorable table she could hear people below her barely above a whisper. She could not make out what they were saying. Looking over to her right she could see the sea crashing into rocks. It was a sight to be seen and so peaceful. The sun was starting to rise, the colors contrasting against the ocean made her feel at peace. She heard a knock at the door. Not to keep whoever it was waiting she got up and walked over to answer it. Hoping it was going to be Leo she opened the door rather quickly. Upon opening the door, she was not met with the tall and tan handsome man that she was hoping to see, instead she was met with a younger girl possibly around 18 to 20 years old and a very beautiful put together older woman. Maria not knowing if Isabell was awake wanted to make sure she had everything she could need for the day. Martina kept pushing for them to go and meet this woman that Lorenzo so worked up. Agreeing with her insistent daughter the pair took some fresh towels, toiletries, and some fresh under garments for their guest. At that moment, it hit Maria like a ton of bricks. Isabell must be concerned of who undressed her and tucked her in. She needed to make sure that she told her that it was herself that had taken Isabella out of her soaking wet clothes. Not having any pajamas in the room, she had grabbed one of Lorenzos undershirts. She most definitely did not want this young lady to think or worry about anything. Martina knocked on the door to Leo¡¯s room loudly. She must have hurt her knuckles since the door was solid oak. Laughing Maria told her it''s what she gets for not being patient. Martina could barely contain her excitement. She had never known her brother to be interested in any woman before. She was beginning to think he would be alone for the rest of his life. Okay that may have been an over exaggeration but still he was about to be forty. This was one thing that always worried her Nonna, her mom, papa, and of course her. Seeing Lenny with a woman in his arms last night made everyone so very happy. Her brother looked like he had found his missing puzzle piece. This mystery girl was beautiful. Martina could tell there was something different about this woman as her older brother was very protective of her. As Leo and Bella arrived at his family''s home it was just about to be one in the morning. The storm had finally settled allowing the sky to clear. He could see the stars and the bright beautiful moon. The way the moon rested softly on her skin made him catch his breath. Stepping out of the truck and shivered there was slight bite to the fall air after all the rain. Trying not to wake Bella, he slowly lifted her into his arms. She took a deep breath in and let it out. Rustling a little she nuzzled into his neck. Her lips brushed his skin and sent a course of electricity through him. Carrying her into his family¡¯s home with one arm under her legs and the other on her back he realized that he would never let her go. She would be his forever. Walking into the house he was met by his mother and his younger sister. ¡°She is drenched, put her in my room. She can stay as long as she wants, and my room will be hers until she decides otherwise. I will be in the guest house. Please let me know when she wakes up¡±. If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it. That night Lorenzo could not sleep. He tossed and turned getting up multiple times to walk to the guest houses bay windows to look up at his balcony. He kept hoping she would wake up walk to the balcony look left and have their eyes connect with the warmest smile he had ever seen. This was torture being away from her even if she was less than a few meters away. This felt like she was way to far from him. He wanted nothing more then to be there when she woke up. He had to keep his emotions cool because he had never felt like this, and to be frank it was slightly scaring him. He didn¡¯t want to say it aloud though because he would have to face that reality and he would have to process everything. This was all new and confusing. It was terrifying how one woman could come in and make him so uncertain about his life and what he wanted. He was on track to be the towns private physician. How could he allow one woman to have such a place in his life? Is this even what he wanted? So many questions needed to be answered. He could see his life with her. Having a large family, at least four daughters and a maybe one to three sons. That would be the perfect number for them. At the same time thinking about what their children would look like he started to panic because he felt as if his whole world was being turned upside down. He most definitely had a lot to think about. One thing he was certain of is that he could not get her off of his mind no matter how hard he tried. When Bella had opened the door, she was met with a very loud squeal that she felt could wake the dead. This girl standing in front of her had way too much energy. Next thing Bella knew this girl that she did not know had her arms thrown around her and she was hugging her so tightly that she could barely breath. Frozen in place Bella asked who the young girl was. The older lady with the gentle eyes and a warm smile reminded her of Leo. She must be his mom. This younger girl must be his sister. She was a spitting image of Fernando and Maria. She also had Leo¡¯s eyes. Maria could tell Bella had frozen when Martina put her arms around her. She could not tell if Bella was worried or afraid. Martina give Isabella some space. She does not know who we are. You will need to let her get to know us, plus how we greet people is different from her country. Maria was scolding her daughter in a playful manner. This helped get her daughter off Bella. I know Marti is excited for another woman to be in the house, but my goodness does she have so much energy. Please forgive us for being rude and a little on the touchy side. Bella started laughing at the whole situation. Of course, these two beautiful women were most definitely related to Leo. She could see it in not only their facial features but also their personalities. Bella looking at Maria thanked her for making sure she was comfortable. Her next question took Maria by surprise. Bella had asked where Leo was. Not waiting for an answer, she realized she was still in a robe and needed to get dressed. She asked both ladies if they by chance knew where her clothes were. Marti still giggling because Bella clearly had Lorenzo on her mind. She let Bella know that Leo slept in the guest house. If you go out to the balcony and look to your left you will see glass bay windows next to the glass double doors. If my brother left the blinds and curtains open you should be able to see right into the bedroom he is sleeping in. Also, Bella, your clothes are right here on the sitting sofa. Mom and I washed them last night for you. Don¡¯t worry we tucked you into bed too and we promise nobody saw anything. Bella started blushing when Marti was talking. She was very specific to tell me exactly where Leo was and how I could see him. Turning her face to focus on anything else she saw her clothes folded up and laying right on the back of the sitting areas sofa. There was a private place for her to change. Not missing a beat, she asked if it would be okay if she could take a shower. She had noticed the items Maria was holding, she felt bad that she had yet to take them from her. Do you think you could show me to the shower so I can freshen up? Maria smiling handed the items to Bella as she had held her arms out. Yes, my dear of course you can shower. Lorenzos room has a private bathroom. If you walk to the solid doors over here, you just need to push the handle down and you will find everything you could need. There is a shower, a separate bathtub, a commode with a bidet, a sink, a steam room, and a hot tub. Why Leo needed all of this was interesting to me. Taking Bella by the hand she led her to where she had been talking. Oh, my goodness this bathroom is huge, exclaimed Bella! It was like she walked into a full-service spa. You could fit five of her apartments in here! This bathroom was floor to ceiling marble with a huge vanity. The shower was beautiful. Turning around she asked if there was anything that she needed to be made aware of when trying to turn on the shower. She didn¡¯t want to break anything in this beautiful room. She would never forgive herself if she did. Marti let out a chuckle again. No silly the showers work the same way here as they do in New York. You turn the hand to where it says hot, and the hot water comes out. I will say that this bathroom does get very steamy. I do recommend opening the windows. If not, it can become a little hard to see in here. I think Leo left some of his perfume and maybe even his shower stuff. I can move all of that for you if you would like for me to. Sea of thoughts Waking to the sounds of birds chirping Leo stretched. Last night was hard for him to sleep. Rubbing his eyes, he got up out of the bed and walked over to the doors to open them. The sun had come up over the rocks and it was a beautiful day. Slipping on some pajama pants so that he wouldn¡¯t be in his boxers and putting on a plain white t-shirt he decided that he should probably go up to the house. He needed to shower, get dressed for the day, and he desperately needed coffee. Throwing on his bath sandals Leo walked up to the house. The house was very lively for seven in the morning. Usually nobody was up this early and he had some time to himself which he loved. Grabbing a fresh towel, he headed up the stairs. He was happy that nobody was in the hallway, that meant they would all be downstairs in the dining room having breakfast or drinking espresso while reading the paper. This would give him some much-needed time to get ready for the day. He had so much he wanted to show Bella. He wanted to do everything the tourists would do in his town, but with her. She would love his older brother¡¯s pasta shoppe. His sister in-law ran one of the local bookstores. There is so much in this quaint little town that he wanted to make memories with her in. Now that I finally had a minute to myself, I could finally shower. This bathroom is gorgeous, which handle again did Marti say worked the shower head she thought to herself. The shower itself was enormous and could easily fit around ten people in it. The issue Bella was having was the fact that the shower had more than one shower head. I guess I should just choose one, placing my hand on the shower handle I turned the water to hot. Slipping the robe off and tossing it onto the pedestal I climbed into the shower. The shower beating down on my skin felt amazing. The water was perfect even if it was creating so much steam that you could hardly see in front of you. Grabbing the shampoo, I lathered my hair. Getting the rain off me from last night felt amazing. After rinsing my hair, I let the water run down my face. Marti and Maria literally thought of everything that I needed, I will have to thank them. Thank goodness there was a bench in this shower. Sitting down Bella started to exfoliate her legs with the sea salt vanilla body scrub. I wonder how they knew vanilla was my favorite. She could hardly see when she started shaving her legs. Knocking on the bedroom and not getting an answer Lorenzo thought that Bella must be down having breakfast with the family. Walking to the dresser he pulled out clean clothes for the day. I wonder how Bella is taking everything in today. Walking to the bathroom he was hit with a bunch of steam. He could hardly see. Having his headphones in he could not hear anything. Making his way to the window he cracked it a little. Turning back to the shower he turned the rain faucet on. He could not wait to get into the shower. Tossing his clothes into the hamper he stepped into the shower. Taking out his earbuds he splashed water on his face. Letting out an audible sigh he leaned up against the wall of the shower. Why was the other shower head on he thought to himself. With all the steam he could not see but he knew that the other handle was on the far side of the shower. After washing and rinsing his hair and body he started to the opposite side of the shower to turn off the other shower head. He did not know he was not alone. He reached out and was surprised when his hand touched the small of a back. Startled he asked, ¡°who¡¯s in here¡±. Not knowing that someone else was in the room let alone the bathroom took Bella by surprise. She thought it was strange that the other shower head had turned on, but she was honestly in her own world thinking of what she was going to do for the day. Finishing up shaving her legs she stood up and got back under the water. The warm water helped relax her muscles. She really loved how the water slid down her body. Grabbing the sea sponge, she began washing her body. When she started to rinse, she felt a hand on her back. Startled by the question from the mystery man in the shower with her, she could barely respond with her name. The shower water hitting the floor so hard made it feel like her voice was weak. Turning around to face the person in the shower with her, she noticed that the hand had not yet left her body and it was now resting on her stomach. Alarm bells going off in her head made her back away. This was Leo, but she just met him! This was not okay. Grabbing a towel, she hurried up and got out of the shower. Sliding her robe on she ran out of the bathroom and out of the bedroom. She felt like she needed to get far away and fast. Running down the hall, down the winding staircase, past the kitchen, through the back door, she ran as far as her shoeless feet would take her, which was not very far. She found herself looking out over the rocks on the edge of the embankment while the sea crashed violently into the rocks below. How could such a wonderful start to the day have this type of outcome. Wanting to walk back into that bathroom and give him a piece of her mind she stopped herself. Why did she run? She was very attracted to him. He smelt amazing and his skin was so soft. With everything going through her mind she sat at the end of the embankment and let her legs dangle down being careful not to cut her feet on the rocks. When she decided to come to this beautiful place it was not to meet anyone. It was the opposite. Her family back home in New York wanted her to marry into a high social class. She felt her family and herself would never be able to fit in and she didn¡¯t want to. She wanted what was organic and what was natural. So why did she run away from the one person she felt that pull to? Ugh so many thoughts racing through her head that she just couldn¡¯t process them all. Reading on Amazon or a pirate site? This novel is from Royal Road. Support the author by reading it there. Marti saw Bella run pass the dining room. She looked like she had seen a ghost. Something must have really spooked her to send her flying so fast. Wiping her mouth and getting up from the table Marti excused herself. Without waiting for a response, she ran up the stairs to figure out what had gone on. Once she got to Lorenzos room she felt a ton of bricks hit her. Her brother, that stupid son of a bitch. He was singing in the shower. Oh my god Bella. How could he be so stupid? I will have to have abuela speak to him she thought as she huffed and stomped away. Not waiting for anyone to ask her where she was going, she threw some shoes on and went to go find Bella. It didn¡¯t take her long; she saw a very fair skinned girl off in the distance with her blonde hair whipping backwards thanks to the crashing of the waves forcing the wind forward. Even this far away she could tell Bella was in her own world. What could be going through her mind worried Marti. Making her way slowly over to Bella she sat next to her. ¡°I am sorry my brother is a jackass¡±. ¡°I do not understand why he thought it would be a good idea to get in the shower when the shower was on¡±.¡± This is not like him¡±. ¡°Nobody can make an excuse for him because it was not right¡±. ¡°If it is okay, I would like to sit here with you for a while¡±. Bella welcomed the company of Marti. The last thing she wanted to do was appear to be rude. She liked Leo¡¯s sister though. Yes, she was full of energy, but that was because she was young. Even at such a young age, okay well maybe not that young, but still she was respectful, and she could understand why I was feeling the way I was. Letting out a sigh Bella turned to Marti. ¡°Why didn¡¯t anyone let Leo know that I was in the shower? It was like he had no idea I was there until he placed his hand on my back¡±. ¡°I shouldn¡¯t have acted how I did. I admit I may have slightly overreacted. You see when I decided to come here it was to escape my parents and my life. I didn¡¯t want love. I was tired of always trying to be perfect and I wanted to let my hair down so to speak. I wanted to find me¡±. Then I found Leo, and it was like everything stood still even air she thought to herself. Ugh I need to snap out of my own head, but he was breath taking. His tan skin, jet black hair, his facial hair, his eyes being a beautiful brown, shit I am getting turned on I must stop thinking of him in this manner. Marti was waiting for Bellas¡¯s response to her question, but there seemed to be something off with her. Bella, Bella, is everything okay? It''s like you have been transported to another reality or something. Still not getting a response Marti put her hand on Bellas¡¯s shoulder. When Bella looked back over Marti was smiling at her. Now I have her attention Marti thought. ¡°Bella, we didn¡¯t mean for Leo to go into the room let alone the bathroom. We honestly were waiting for him for breakfast and espresso. Somehow, he was able to sneak pass all of us and make his way up to the room. If we could change it, we most definitely would. We are so very sorry this happened. I am going to send Daddy to town today so that he can buy a lock. He will get it installed that way you do not have to worry about anyone coming into the shower ever again¡±. After saying this Marti watched as Bellas¡¯s face fell. Hmmm that is weird she thought. I figured Bella would be happy that daddy would get a lock for the bathroom door. Did she not want that? What honestly could be going on? So many questions started running through Martis mind.
