《The Emperor of Future Mankind》 Fires, Floods and Water Wars I¡¯ll start this off by saying while I see myself as the emperor of future mankind, I do not see myself living through the challenges to come. I am the emperor as I seek too guide mankind on its path forward, showing what the next few decades may bring and highlight some needed changes to our overall cultural physiology. Fires, the last decades have seen growing trends of long term droughts and dry heat leading to massive fire zones. These cause continuous destruction to our planets carbon absorbing zones and oxygen output. the heating of ocean water has lead to changes to sea currents causing weather patterns to shift, and causing stagnation and killing off plants that also absorb carbon and produce oxygen leading to further cascading changes. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it. as these continues changes lead to further warming, weather patterns changing has created greater drought zones and water shortages across populated areas whom are a source of vast agricultural production. the need for water for power generation and irrigation on top of sustainable sources of clean water for the population will only get worse leading to migration of millions from both regions of various countries around the globe. the First Great water wars begin. end of Chapter 1 Water wars: neighbour be neighbour The mid 21st century was marked with massive weather systems if the last ten thousand years were calm then the next thousand would be an atomic explosion in a n a tornado. all of human civilization grew up around reliable water sources, river valleys that support farming and coastal cities to facility trade. This is a fundamental fact that is important to reminder if you hope to survive. ask yourself we¡¯re does your water source come from? What supplies your life and food supply. And when was the last time it truly rained on your head. life in the early 21st century has forgotten that we bend to the earth it doesn¡¯t bow to us. We thought that because we could move it around and blow up chucks of it that we were changing it. this is like thinking that because we wear a watch we have some control of time. A bemused insanity of tiny beings in the infinite universe. The dirt you walk on is not the whole of the earth it is the fire of the core and the blanket of the sky balancing a silk thin line of life under the swirling gravity of the stars. Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings. however if we can acknowledge that our attempts at control are minuscule we can see them as they are a minor adjustment to preserve our society. This can lead to great growth in ourselves and society. The first step is to let things die. Stop patching the walking dead parts of our world. Don¡¯t spend valuable and limited resources on useless attempts to keep cities or agriculture of the past going. when the Midwest droughts hit, don¡¯t water a desert to grow grain. Move to sustainable zones and build sustainable farming. Indoor vertical farming will feed millions of done on scale. the North American west coast and mountains will see regular rivers of rain in the sky, plan for this rainfall, reinforce to ground, aqueducts and dams to retain and redirect waters to key zones. Use mountains as large scale containers of overflow. This approach will be useful in other places. water desalination plants will also be key, but be aware of sea level locations and power supply sources. lastly be aware that there are truly only two fundamental living rights the right to live undisturbed and the right to kill anything that violates the right to live. If you are down stream from a water source expect to have to fight for water, and if you live upstream on the water source be prepared to defend your position.
