《Broken Flower》 chapter 1: Rose Coffee Shop Chapter 1: Rose Coffee Shop A calm breeze blows down a clean but slightly wet street, bringing with it a fresh but somewhat melancholy feeling to those who stand in its way. It is the end of September, and in the northern half of the planet, it means the start of fall and the sad loss of warm weather. ¡°Tick, tick, tick, tick¡¡± The rhythmic sound of a woman¡¯s high-heeled shoes touching the wet ground in the darkness of the night with calm and unhurried steps gives the empty and calm street a relaxing and soothing feeling. It¡¯s especially calming when the owner of the steps passes by street lamps and her shadow becomes smaller or bigger, rushing to pass her but suddenly falling behind. The woman walks slowly and calmly as if the entire world is just a TV show and she is just passing in front of it. This gives people a feeling of isolation and being driven away by the owner of the shoe sounds. ¡°She is someone with a story.¡± That¡¯s what passersby would think in their hearts, but the person in question didn¡¯t care about it at all. She was even in the mood to watch her step so as not to step on the line between the side road tiles. The breeze suddenly stops its cold hands from crossing the woman¡¯s red cheeks. As if instinctive, the woman raises her head to check the breeze, and the warm red and yellow lights in front of her bring her back to reality from the curtain of detachment that she had drawn around herself. Being curious about the warm atmosphere radiating from the shop in front of her to the calm and still street, she takes a few steps to the side to better see the shop front. It was a coffee shop with a big glass front that was misty and slightly wet from the recent rainfall as well as the temperature difference between the sides of the glasses. There were several big and small flower pots on the ground or hung in front of the store. They were of many types, but the few red roses were the most noticeable ones. The woman¡¯s gaze stopped on the slightly blushed red rose for a long time. It was as if she was trying to hear the rose¡¯s proud voice boasting of its beauty. ¡°Drip¡ drip¡ drip, drip, drip, drip drip drip.¡± The sodden sound of rain starting to pour down awakened her from her deep focus. She hurriedly raised her head to peek at the big red neon sign above the shop to see what shop it was, so she could feed her curiosity and run back home before she became a drenched rat. But what she saw made her change her plans. ¡°Red Rose Coffee Shop. Sounds good.¡± After taking one last look at the shop front, she steps to the door of the coffee shop and pushes it open. ¡°Ding ding ding." As she pushes the door open, the hanging bell above the doorframe makes a crisp but refreshing sound. Along with it, the warm air crashes into her face and makes her rosy face look even rosier. After a quick look at the hanging bell, she hurries inside so that the cold air from outside won¡¯t rush in. After closing the door, she turns around and starts to scan the whole shop to get a general idea about it. The first thing that catches her attention is that Despite the relatively small front, which is around five meters or so, the depth is a little bit too much. She hadn¡¯t noticed before entering, but the shop was double-sided, and each side was facing a different street, making it have a long salon, up to twenty meters. ¡°How expensive is this shop? The owner must be filthy rich; otherwise, there is no way to pay the rent for such a big store.¡± The next thing that catches her attention is the fact that every table is full. And by full, it wasn¡¯t just being occupied by one person sitting alone but every one of them had at least three customers. The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. ¡°Well, that explains how he pays the rent.¡± To make sure she hadn¡¯t missed any chairs, she took a few steps forward and stretched her neck to take a better look, and luckily she found one. But it isn¡¯t empty. It¡¯s the corner-most table and away from the window as well as the island-like counter at the center of the coffee shop. A lonely boy is sitting there. He is wearing a neat dark blue shirt, has a round but not fat face, a clean haircut, and no facial hair, making him nothing but a young boy around the age of college. Taking a quick note of the fact that he is a young boy, and coherently is playing with his laptop in front of him, she hesitates because college students normally bother her the most, but there is no other table to help her escape the rain. Even now, she can hear that the rain is getting denser and denser. So What is she supposed to do? Go back into the rain and become a melting ice cream? The cashier, who is near the door and has noticed the young lady standing there and not choosing any chair to sit in, she followed her line of sight to the lone boy and almost immediately understood the lady¡¯s concerns. She knows the boy in the corner. He is one of the old customers and has a very polite and kind personality. Even after such a long time that he was a customer here, not even once had she seen him doing something unsightly; so she decided to encourage the young lady about sharing the table with the boy. On top of that, she couldn¡¯t let any customer leave in the rain. ¡° Miss, excuse me for bothering you but if you are worried about sharing a table with the customer at table 13, I can assure you of his good behaviour. He is one of our old customers and is very polite. but if you are still unable to accept this then I can introduce you to our lovely customers at tables 3 and 5, even though they are old they are very kind.¡± With that remark, the cashier pointed at the two tables near the fireplace. At each of them sat three old ladies who were talking with each other while drinking from their still-steaming cups. Our protagonist compared the group of same-sex, old kind ladies with the young opposite sex, but possibly troublesome; and without thinking for a long time, she chose the opposite sex. ¡° Thank you for your help.¡± After saying thanks to the cashier she made her way through the tables to the deepest corner. ¡° That¡¯s my duty.¡± The cashier smiled happily as she watched the young lady walk toward the boy sitting there and at the same time thought in her heart: ¡°Next time he should remember to give me more tips. This is your big sister¡¯s help. Don¡¯t waste it.¡± Then she happily sat back in her seat and secretly peeked at table 13 with a little blushing face. Our young lady walked to table 13 and looked up at the boy who was busy typing something on his laptop with a high degree of focus and passion and waited for the boy to raise his head; so she could ask for permission to share the table with him but after waiting for a while the boy didn¡¯t even flinched his head. Becoming impatient she faked a cough: ¡° Ahem¡¡± which successfully made the boy raise his head impatiently. He opened his mouth to say something as if wanting to drive people away but the moment he raised his head and made eye contact with the unknown young lady on the other side of the table his word got choked in his throat. For some unknown reason to The lady, seeing him choke on his own words made her happy and she; in a brighter mood than before, shared what she wanted with the boy sitting opposite her: ¡° Is it possible to share this table with you?¡± Chapter 2: you are new here ( part 1 ) As she talked to the boy his strangled expression as well as his confused eyes which gave him a somewhat cute face regained focus and became straight. Even though this was good she somewhat liked the previous expression more. His eyes which were quite big and watery took a quick scan of her and then looked at a few tables around. He even leaned a little to the side to have a better view of the coffee shop. She wasn¡¯t impatient because he didn¡¯t answer her immediately but instead checked around first. This shows that he isn¡¯t a hormone-driven idiot who will lose his composure when seeing a good-looking girl. As she thought of these points, she didn¡¯t even notice her sarcastic thoughts and high-profile ideas of her beauty. In fact, she was right. She was really a beautiful girl otherwise she wouldn¡¯t have succeeded in her line of work. Not only that she always took good care of her body and skin making her a breathtaking beauty with a light amount of makeup. She had a small and round but mostly oval-shaped face, a slender and sharp natural eyebrow, double long eyelashes, big eyes with dark brown iris, a strait small but perfectly matched nose with a small and full mouth and on top of them, a fair and pale skin gives her a standard top class beauty. But sadly for her, the boy in front of her had facial blindness and even though he looked at her he shouldn¡¯t even be able to remember her mouth shape, let alone to understand her beauty. After taking a good look around and making sure that the lady in front of him wasn¡¯t here to bother him but simply because there weren¡¯t any empty sits around he turned to face her. ¡° Please make yourself comfortable.¡± And with that, he started to clean up the table in front of him to not bother her with his staff. [ Hem, his voice isn¡¯t that bad, also he is polite and clean. She was right, he isn¡¯t that unpleasant. Also, he should be one of those antisocial types of people who don¡¯t have many friends and most likely he is from a highly educated family, with a good culture and background. At least that¡¯s what the cover says. ] She thought to herself. With her working experience over the last few years, she made her judgement about the boy and she was quite right. The boy in front of her, was wearing a blue shirt with black jeans, and had a neat haircut. His face was clean and he didn¡¯t have any type of accessories like ear piercings or such. And the way he cleaned the table and placed his stuff showed his demanders as a gentleman, which was quite likeable. Pulling the chair back so she could sit on it, she observed the boy¡¯s movement and just as she sat on the chair the table in front of her was tidy enough. In fact, there wasn¡¯t much. Other than the boy''s somewhat old and heavy laptop there was a notebook with a pen as well as a smartphone on top of it. A backpack at the side which he placed on the chair next to him. A mug of coffee, she guessed, and a plate with a half-eaten cheesecake on it. So cleaning up was just pulling those staff closer to himself in an orderly manner. After sitting up she put her black women''s bag on the chair next to her and took her knitted hat off which released her black, shiny clean, waterfall-like hair. The moment she did so she noticed that the boy¡¯s attention was completely attracted by her hair, which made her feel prideful. She had washed her hair not long ago at her ever-changing workplace and they were at one of their best times, so she liked the attention the boy was giving her hair. She smirked at the innocent and childish manner that he was trying to control and became a little more fond of the new table mate. Finally, after becoming happy enough she did what normally she would do whenever she came to any place like this. It was a habit she developed because of her job and normally it would help her grade these kinds go places very accurately and be aware if she needed to leave right away. First, she closed her eyes and focused on her sense of touch. The chair she was sitting on was tall enough and had a soft and good feeling. At the same time, it wasn¡¯t plastic or leather so probable she wouldn¡¯t sweat too much. The chair had hand rests and they were larger than normal handrests so it had enough space to place the arms comfortably on them. The back of the chair was slightly lean backwards but not much which was once again comfortable. Next was the temperature of the store which was neither too warm to make people sweat nor cold enough to make you uncomfortable. ''Quiet good'' she rate it. Following that she took a slow but careful deep breath; trying to identify the smells in the air. The first one to tickle her nose was the smell of coffee and tea followed by a little sweetness, probably the cheesecake not far from her which showed its freshness. After a little saver over these to smell she noticed another taste which had a good freshness and sourness. The smell of green apple. [ they should have an apple incense burning somewhere. ] She thought. The last but slightly humid smell was the smell of rain, which once again added to the freshness of the air inside the coffee shop. It wasn¡¯t the best place she had ever been based on these but it was good enough. At the very least she didn¡¯t smell any sour taste of men''s sweat or the rotten smell of wet stuff flying around because of rain. And finally, the last sense other than the visions, becomes the main point of her focus. She didn¡¯t have much hope for it as it was a coffee shop full of people. She expected the chaotic noises to be the main thing that would attract her but as she fell deeper into the world of the sounds she became surprised. The coffee shop had at least thirty to forty people sitting in it but all she could hear was a disordered but very calm humming sound, just like what a bee hive in the winter would sound. Collective humming and once in a while a little louder and more distinctive sound but it wasn¡¯t a problem because even that was still a very calm voice. Now she really understands why the house price in this area is so much higher than the other places within the city. If it wasn¡¯t for her very high income and smart business mind she would never be able to buy a house in this area. Even when she was hearing the salesman busting about how good this place was she didn¡¯t like the price at all. The only reason she accepted the price was because she could see that the house price here was on the rise and no matter what; it wasn¡¯t a lose-making business to buy one hear. Now she fully understands what kind of high class she is in. There is no way; even the coffee shops in the richest places wouldn¡¯t be so quiet. Chapter 3: you are new here ( part 2 ) Gathering her thoughts together once again she listened more, the next sound that caught her attention was a soft piano play with merged perfectly with the sound of the rain outside. She wasn¡¯t a musician and didn¡¯t know much about piano but she recognised this one. It was the [ Rain from Tony Ann ] which she liked very much and would listen to from time to time. The mix of it and the sound of the water outside made her let go and listen to it with a calm mind. As time passed the track came to an end and she started to collect herself together. It was a good breath time for her to leak the wounds she had got from the job¡¯s stress. After picking herself together she was ready to open her eyes but another sound caught her attention. It was a low, unhurried rhythmic sound of clicking and tapping. It wasn¡¯t sharp and clear but it was mixing well enough with the humming sound of the crowd around her. As she listened to it, its low rhythm was becoming addictive to her and she was starting to like it; especially the slightly deeper and sharper sound of the middle key which was like a weak current in the noises which would make it more enjoyable but all of this was broken by a sudden insert of a deep and full of energy voice. ¡°Miss, please forgive me for entreating your enjoyment¡± With that, our protagonist, who was sure that not a single female was at this table, other than her, opened her eyes and followed the voice to hunt the owner of it, who broke her rare enjoyment. The person who spoke was a tall and slightly muscular man in his late 20s. And as to why he was a man and the boy in front of her wasn¡¯t; she could tell the difference from their demeanours as well as their eyes. The man was wearing a coffee shop uniform, which was composed of a striped shirt with black lines and a half-belt black apron at the lower half and beneath that, he had a black cotton pant with black lither shoes at the end. He had a short blond bear a pointed chin, a straight nose and greenish eyes with short blond hair. He had two ear piercings at each ear and his lips were slightly crocked at both ends making a small, polite smile. All in all, he was a standard handsome, knight on the white horse. Completely different to the bookish boy in front of her. She didn¡¯t even know why would she compare them but anyway, she did so. ¡° Is there anything I need to do?¡± After knowing that the person in front of her was the waiter there and she couldn¡¯t get angry over spoiling her enjoyment she asked him for his reason for interruption. ¡° I¡¯m here to give you our menu and if needed, to help our Miss to make a choice, as you are our new guest here. This is one of our services to the new guests here.¡± As he said those words he handed her a semi-booklet menu of the coffee shop. She grabbed the menu but as she could see his sightly dishonest and naughty eyes, she refused his help. ¡° Nah, I¡¯m fine. I¡¯ll order myself. Thank you for the offer¡± ''She definitely didn¡¯t refuse him because he disturbed her mood. Yeah, definitely not.'' As she opened the menu to take a look, the waiter shrugged his shoulders as if he didn¡¯t care, which he definitely did, and turned around to face the boy who had raised his head to look over them at some point and said: ¡° What about you Raymond? Do you want anything else?¡± ¡° You know me Jason; hey, don¡¯t give me that kind of look. Also, there are still fifteen minutes to the next coffee.¡± This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version. The waiter, who should be named Jason, smiled teasingly with an obvious bad intention. ¡° What? I thought after sharing a table with a lady for the first time in your whole life, you would want a double espresso; so your brain wouldn''t shot down.¡± From the moment Jason started to talk to the boy, or rather, to Raymond, she was paying attention. And after those last words of Jason, her impression of him fell to rock bottom. She hates guys like him, who will hit others to show themselves off or to make a moment of happiness for themselves over the embarrassment of the others. Based on her experience, she could imagine how embarrassed the boy, Raymond, would be. ''Well, it''s better to call him a boy, calling him directly by his name doesn¡¯t sound good, even though I¡¯m thinking in my own head. Let¡¯s call him a boy for now.'' Out of sympathy, she didn¡¯t raise her head but still peeked at him sneakily to see his face but she wasn¡¯t sad for a moment when the boy answered Jason with a straight but completely unrelated comeback. ¡° At least I wasn¡¯t dumped once, every three weeks or slapped more than two times at work.¡± [ Oh my god. He said that with such a straight face and calm tone. Jason is dead for sure. ] And Jason¡¯s face was really too bad to look at this moment. She was sure that if someone stabbed him with a knife at this moment he wouldn¡¯t bleed at all. Cause all the blood in his body has rushed to his face. His face was so tangled that would scare kids to have nightmares for nights. But it didn¡¯t last long, he took a breath and calmed down. And tried to make a statement to fix this up but before he could say anything the boy started talking again. ¡° You asked for it. You know I don¡¯t like this kind of joke. Also, you are right and I haven¡¯t had a girlfriend till now; it isn¡¯t without the point that I don¡¯t have much free time to spare. My only free time is also spent here with you guys trying to do my little hobbies. So next time please stop throwing such jokes.¡± ¡°All right this time you win. I¡¯ll bring your coffee in fifteen minutes.¡± ¡° Thanks for the trouble.¡± With that, he even nodded at Jason after slapping him so badly. But there was a lot of information that moved between the two of them which attracted her attention. Sadly before she could think over them Jason said to her: ¡° Miss, once you made your decision call one of us to bring you your order.¡° ¡°Okey. I¡¯ll do so as you said once I¡¯m done making a decision.¡± And so she watched him turn around grumpy and angrily back to the island-like counter. With this little episode over she turned her head to look at the menu. ¡° ¡Him¡ let¡¯s see¡ what is there¡ Espresso¡ Americano¡ Red Eye¡ Lungo¡ which one should I choose? Really there are a lot of them and I don¡¯t know how they are. Maybe I should have taken his offer of help¡¡± As she read the menu she unconnectedly talked to herself in a low voice which only herself could hear. But the boy opposite to her had already noticed her troubled expression and figured out the reason for it. ¡° The hot drinks here are mostly excellent. Despite their few bad waiters, the coffee here is one of the best or else it wouldn¡¯t have been so popular. Also, the monopolisation as well as the lack of desire to go to a farther place have a point in it too but I think the biggest reason for its population is the quality of its coffee. Not to mention that its deserts are also fresh and delicious.¡± His calm and collected words and calm face without the wrong signals as well as her fondness from before made her raise her head and listen to his guidance. ¡° You are new here; aren¡¯t you? My name is Raymond, if you have questions about the menu I should be able to help.¡± Chapter 4: see you next time ( part 1 ) ¡® Well, that should sound polite enough after keeping her standing there for some time, right?!¡¯ Raymond asked himself as he looked at the girl opposite to himself. He really didn¡¯t expect that someone would ask to sit with him. Not that he has any problems but it is really rare. So rare that this is his first time. At first, when she asked him he instinctively thought that she was some sort of a marketer who wanted to share a new product with him or a book, which was the only time a girl this fair-faced, would ask him. But when he saw how busting the coffee was he understood what was the reason. Well, that¡¯s right he also had a little fantasy that she was a fan of his works but it seems not. After she sat down, she closed her eyes as if she was savouring a drink but in fact, she was trying to figure out the coffee shop. But as time past he slowly gathered his attention back to his work. He still needs to finish today¡¯s manuscript or else the readers would kill him in the comments. and in some severe situations, they may even post him a knife. Which is something that many writers have to face. ¡®Ahh, life is so tiring. I shouldn¡¯t have started to write in the first place, but each time I think about how my characters overcome the difficulties that they face, how they use the opportunities that they have, and how they climb the tree of life, I just don¡¯t want to stop. Oh, I think here he should face a step back. It would make the story more realistic. well, that¡¯s right. Good. Hem, should I also make him¡¡¯ ¡°This is one of our services to the new guests here.¡± ¡®Oh here comes the great, greek legendary hero, Jason, trying to find a new girlfriend¡¡¯ ¡° Nah, I¡¯m fine. I¡¯ll order myself. Thank you for the offer¡± ¡® Well done my lady; you don¡¯t know what kind of trouble you just passed by safely.¡¯ ¡° What about you Raymond? Do you want anything else?¡± ¡®heam?! This guy wants to step on me to show himself again?! How many times does he want to do that?! Doesn¡¯t he know that every time he does it his co-workers hate him more? Yup, he definitely wants to do it. That disgusting look in his eyes never lies. I really don¡¯t like him. If it wasn¡¯t because I don¡¯t want to cause Ali troubles I would have asked him to through this nut head out of here.¡¯ ¡° You know me Jason; hey, don¡¯t give me that kind of look. Also, there are still fifteen minutes to the next coffee.¡± ¡° What? I thought after sharing a table with a lady for the first time in your whole life, you would want a double espresso; so your brain wouldn''t shot down.¡± Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon. ¡®Sure enough. He did it once again. Should I let it go as usual?! noop. This time he said it was more straight than anytime before. Since you like mocking others in front of others let me just remind you of your few history. ¡° At least I wasn¡¯t dumped once, every three weeks or slapped more than two times at work.¡± ¡® Oh no, it seems it hurts way more than I thought. His entire face is a sight to behold. I really want to laugh at him. Keep a straight face, Raymond. Hold it in. You can do it. You can do it, hold it in. No, I can¡¯t hold it anymore, I need to change my attention. Oh, and I also need to make it clear why I¡¯m not in any relationship, least this girl thinks that I¡¯m someone with problems.¡¯ ¡° You asked for it. You know I don¡¯t like this kind of joke. Also, you are right and I haven¡¯t had a girlfriend till now; it isn¡¯t without the point that I don¡¯t have much free time to spare. My only free time is also spent here with you guys trying to do my little hobbies. So next time please stop throwing such jokes.¡± ¡®Well, this should do it. I have cleared both myself and also made myself look less bad and guilty and at the same time more hardworking person. I also gave Jason a step down; even though it wasn¡¯t a good one, it should allow him to get out of here least embarrassed. Look at how nice I am indeed.¡¯ ¡°All right this time you win. I¡¯ll bring your coffee in fifteen minutes.¡± ¡®Alright, he is gone at least. Also, I am sure that the one to bring the coffee won¡¯t be him but one of the girls instead.¡¯ ¡° Thanks for the trouble.¡± ¡° Miss, once you made your decision call one of us to bring you your order.¡° ¡®Not forgetting the girl huh? Well, I¡¯m not the one to say anything about it ¡®cause if she wasn¡¯t a girl I wouldn¡¯t have retorted to his words.¡¯ ¡°Okey. I¡¯ll do so as you said once I¡¯m done making a decision.¡± ¡® As clear as possible. Good. Now I should continue my own business.¡¯ As he continued his typing he noticed the girl¡¯s small and weak self-talkings. ¡®Well, I guess she needs a little help with the menu. Not knowing anything about here is a little troublesome and since Jason, who knows every single girl out here, said that she is new then nine out of ten she is.¡¯ ¡° The hot drinks here are mostly excellent. Despite their few bad waiters, the coffee here is one of the best or else it wouldn¡¯t have been so popular. Also, the monopolisation as well as the lack of desire to go to a farther place have a point in it too but I think the biggest reason for its population is the quality of its coffee. Not to mention that its deserts are also fresh and delicious.¡± As Raymond said those, the girl opposite to him raised her head to look at him. ¡®A little curious? For what is she curious? Is it because I tried to help? Maybe. Should I explain myself? It won¡¯t make me look like an idiot, would it? I don¡¯t think it will.¡¯ ¡° You are new here; aren¡¯t you? My name is Raymond, if you have questions about the menu I should be able to help.¡± ¡®That¡¯s the worst self-introduction that I ever had.¡¯ A little facepalming appeared in his imagination but to not appear inexperienced in talking to girls he tried hard to keep his face straight and unwaved. Chapter 5: see you next time ( part 2 ) ¡° Any question about the menu?¡± ¡° Well, yes. I¡¯ll try to help.¡± ¡° Do you come here often?¡± ¡° Yes. Here is the only coffee shop around here, so if someone wants to have a coffee he has to either come here to have one, or make one by himself. Well, I also know the owner so I don¡¯t make it by myself. Not to mention that the coffee here is really good.¡± As Raymond started to talk about the reason why he could help the girl, the girl observed him. As he started talking he leaned back in the chair making his back straight and serious, just like how teachers would state the facts during the class, but his honest words at the end also gave him a little comical and naive air which was; I don¡¯t know; cute maybe? ¡° Alright then. I like the fact that you are honest with me. So please recommend me some of the best stuff here.¡± She passed the ball back to the boy to see how he would do it. Was everything till now a show or it was his true self? ¡® She likes my honesty? What does she mean? Anyway, she made it hard. Recommending things is way harder than it is to comment on stuff. What should I recommend? It is hard to decide¡¡¯ as Raymond thought of these points he started to remember everything on the menu; but as he thought more about which one to recommend, he became more troubled and a few lines started to appear on his forehead. ¡®What if she is here to take a few pictures so she can post them? No, what if she is at that time of the month? Would it affect her body if I recommended something with more caffeine? Not to mention what if she likes light sweet ones rather than deep bitter ones? Is it better to have too much liquid or have a small amount of it?¡¯ As Raymond got deeper and deeper into the overthinking world, so he wouldn¡¯t displease the lady in front of him or make her hate his friend¡¯s coffee shop his frown got more and more severe, to the point which, made the girl in front of him think that she has ordered something she shouldn¡¯t have had. ¡®there is no way to tell which one is better. Alright. Since I can¡¯t prefer anything to another, I¡¯ll recommend everything¡¯ As if finally deciding what to recommend Raymond took a deep breath, sorted his thoughts out and started a bombing that would make anyone speechless. ¡° If you have a sweet tooth and like to drink sweet coffee or stuff, the Caramel Macchiato or Vanilla Latte here might be just what you''re looking for. They''re both rich in flavour. They also can be made with milk, with dairy-free options. I don¡¯t think you would be able to find it anywhere around. And this is just the start. if you love your coffee to be strong and unadorned, the Espresso or Americano are the classics here that deliver a robust taste. Which also will keep you tuned till the middle of the night. Or if you prefer a milky blend then the Cappuccino and Flat White are frothy delights, and you can choose from a variety of milk. Also, if you are In the mood for something cold the Iced Coffee and Cold Brew are refreshing and invigorating, perfect for a warm day or when you need a cool pick-me-up. Actually, I don¡¯t recommend you to drink those in the weather outside but the choice is yours. And a gentle reminder If you are in a period for the caffeine-conscious: the Decaf Coffee options and Herbal Teas here are low in caffeine but full of flavour and love. Just pick what you want.¡± And with that, he leans back with a tired look in his eyes. As if he has used all his energy to explain everything on the menu to her. but he forgot that sometimes telling everything isn¡¯t the best choice. Especially out of nowhere to a stranger who doesn¡¯t know him at all. ¡®For the sake go god I don¡¯t remember any of that. I wasn¡¯t ready yet. Is it possible to replay the whole track? And also, what was the caffeine-conscious period he was talking about? Do girls have any period that they can¡¯t drink a lot of coffee I don¡¯t know? As far as I know, there is only one period that is difficult for girls; wait, does he imply that I¡¯m at¡ no, how can he say it with such a straight face again?? is he a face-paralysed person or a shameless one?¡¯ She hadn¡¯t come out of the shock of the Previous information that Raymond rose up again as if he remembered something that he hadn¡¯t mentioned before. His movement alerted the girl at once, who was trying hard to digest the menu¡¯s drinks. She was about to tell him to hold on to his word so she could be ready but she was just a little late. ¡° If you turn the menu around to the back of it you will see the deserts. There you can Sweeten your day with the delightful dessert selection! Whether you''re looking for a perfect pairing with your coffee or just a treat to indulge in, here we''ve got an array of choices. If you are a classic dessert lover, the Tiramisu is a must-try. This pairing is ideal for those like me who appreciate the purity of flavours. If you''re in the mood for something warm, the Cinnamon Rolls are baked fresh daily, oozing with sweet, spiced goodness. And with Americano, it is just right. The boldness of an Americano is the perfect counterpoint to the sweet and spicy flavours of freshly baked Cinnamon Rolls. This pairing is ideal for those who appreciate the contrast of flavours. Cake aficionados can enjoy slices of decadence with options like Chocolate Fudge or Carrot Cake, perfect for those who love a moist and rich treat. Don¡¯t forget the Doughnut. The selection here includes classics like Glazed and Chocolate Sprinkled, as well as gourmet flavours that change weekly. I don¡¯t know this week¡¯s flavour since I don¡¯t like the grassy feelings on the tip of my fingers after eating one. And for those who prefer their desserts chilled, here offers a range of Ice Cream Bars and Mini Tiramisu Cups, providing a cool and creamy escape. You can mix the Iced Coffee and Mini Tiramisu Cups For a refreshing twist. The cold coffee complements the chilled, creamy dessert, making it a perfect choice for warmer days; But not now. Oh, I almost forgot, and if you''re looking for something light, here also has a variety of Biscotti and Macarons that pair wonderfully with any of the coffee offerings. if I¡¯m not wrong there are also the ones with low calories which are the favourites with the lady club, over there.¡± And he finally ended his long and profound speech by pointing at the head of coffee which a group of old ladies were having a great meeting about the rumors of the neighbourhood. She was deeply speechless because of how he recommended the menu, even if someone already knew what to do would definitely forget about it. ¡° So was it useful?¡± But this question made her even more powerless. If she said it wasn¡¯t she would be lying cause he explained everything and if she said it was she was lying once again cause she didn¡¯t get even a little of it. It was pure chaos for her. In the end, she decided to let go and placed the menu down to not make her brain go through what it had heard to make a choice. ¡° You said you ordered an espresso and cheesecake right? I¡¯ll have those.¡± ¡°You sure? You didn¡¯t think much about it though.¡± ¡®How long should I hold on? Please just let me go.¡¯ ¡° Yes, I¡¯m sure.¡± ¡° All right. That¡¯s a good choice.¡± ¡® Of course, it is otherwise you wouldn¡¯t have tried so many stuff and in the end, chose this.¡¯ After making sure that he got the order right he stretched out his neck to the island and with a voice that wasn¡¯t too loud but loud enough to be heard by the island said: ¡° Jason, please bring a cup of espresso and a piece of New York cheesecake for lady, oh right I forgot, what was your name again?¡± ¡° Oh, Diana, you can call me Diana.¡± ¡° Yes, please bring a cup of espresso and a piece of New York cheesecake for Miss Diana.¡± ¡®Did he just asked my name? And I told him just like that? Was it unintentional or was all of this planned and was a tactic? Nah, It should be an accident. It isn¡¯t worth it to go to that length to ask for my name. But I should be a little careful about what I talk with him from now on, lest something slip through my lips that shouldn¡¯t have.¡¯ ¡° It would take about a few minutes for the order to be ready so please wait a little.¡± ¡°Hm, it¡¯s alright. I can wait.¡± ¡° Then I won¡¯t bother you any more.¡± And with that, he returned to his computer to continue typing. ¡® That¡¯s it? I thought he would start a conversation but he didn¡¯t. Is he using reverse psychology to make me talk? Or he is just not interested? Hm. It¡¯s hard to guess. Anyway, time will make it clear what¡¯s going on. But I¡¯m more cures at what he is doing, typing nonstop. Is he making a report or something? Should I ask? Will he tell the truth?¡¯ As she was getting more and more cures about the boy in front of her the smartphone on the notebook made a ringing noise. ¡°Moshe Moshe? Hello, Mrs. Badbare. How may I help you? What? Right now? But it is raining out there. Sight. Alright, I¡¯ll be there in a few minutes.¡± After the call, he started to gather his laptop and notebook and as he placed them in his backpack, he gobbled the last remains of his cheesecake till he finished it and finally took an umbrella out. ¡° Sorry Miss Diana, but I have to go. I¡¯ll leave the table at your serves. Please enjoy yourself to the fullest and take care.¡± With that, he stood up, grabbed his backpack and pushed the chairs back under the table. Placed his mug on the plate and grabbed it to take it to the counter. ¡°Oh, it¡¯s alright. I¡¯ll make sure to do so. You don¡¯t need to worry.¡± ¡°That¡¯s relieved me. I hope to See you again Miss Diana. Goodbye.¡± Afterwards, he moved to the counter and had a small argument with the grumpy Jason over there. Then went to the cashier lady there at the door. Paid the money. Stood by the door. Opened his umbrella and then walked out. Made a turn and passed from front out the glass. By the time he almost was out of the coffee shop''s front glass, he turned around and took one last look at the table he was sitting at. He seemed a little surprised that Diana was still looking at him because he paused slightly but the mist on the glass prevented Diana from seeing his face clearly, it didn¡¯t matter much because he started to walk again but before getting hidden from her line of sight by the wall he raised his hand and waved his hand at her as a sign of goodbye.
