《AO》 Prologue
Long long time ago, it was the time that gods are still in existence. We call it the "Age of Gods" Mankind was created as servants to god, they do not have any capabilities to defy gods. However, after a long existence of gods themselves, the gods are bored of their own beings. Gods started a war against each others, not because it has anything to gain but it is the last thing they can do after a long period of existence.
Since no human being can ever slain a god and only a god can kill another god, mankind became the witness of the demise of gods. After the battle among of all gods, they are slowly killing each others off. Until a last fallen god on her dying breath, she spotted two human, Siwon and Heishun, a brother and sister, before she reaches the end of eternity. She gave her last grace to the brother and sister with an exchange...
The brother and sister hasn''t eaten any food in a long time, they will likely dies of hunger. The last remaining god, the goddess of purity, on her dying breath, she offered two humans to consume her flesh, as the last thing she can do before the eternal rest. She has only one request to the siblings: please tell others the stories of god, the only thing the goddess worries about at the end is the gods will be forgotten.
Mankind has long feared gods, but the siblings are hungry, their hunger eventually overtake their fears and agreed to goddess'' last request and start eating her flesh. They takes a bowl to save up the blood, they chop goddess'' body into pieces. Since human cannot kill god so while waiting for her eventual demise that the goddess is also fully aware how she is being dismembered and eaten. Her head is removed from her body, she is watching siblings consuming every part of the rest of her body. She is at peace.
After the goddess finally close her eyes for eternity, the siblings are suddenly getting a feeling of what they have never felt before in their lives. They feel energetic, they feel restless, they don''t even think that they are capable of feeling exhaustion. They may still be humans but they are now gained the immortality from consuming the flesh of the god. Siblings are giving the only remaining part of goddess, her head, a last prayer before the brother decided to bury the head. They want to have something of the last piece of god remains as they will now carry on the legacy of the Age of Gods.
The siblings eventually discover their own immortality after years, the brother, Siwon, has indestructible body, he will not suffer any damage to his body. He can literally swim inside the lava and not getting any burns. The sister, Heishun, has unimaginable regeneration speed, she can literally be turn into ashes and still able to recover from it. They however, despite being immortals are still humans in soul. They do not carry any other god like abilities other than gaining immortality.
A few decades later, since siblings do not age. The people around them are growing concerns about their existence. Siblings decided that they will leave where people knows them, they also eventually decided to fulfill the promise to goddess. They went on separate ways and since they will never die which they will meet with each others many times again throughout their journey.
And after many thousands of years, the siblings have appeared throughout the history. They are Alexander the Great, Cleopatra, First Emperor of China, and many other historical figures. They covered their tracks as to appear as some famous people with mysterious deaths. They lives among people and sometimes spreading the story of gods. They sometimes referring themselves as descendant of gods as to spread the story of gods.
After the Age of Gods, now known for Age of Mortals, as they lived through millenniums with endless journey. They have once encounter a very unique journey as both of them found out an actual god is still remains after the end of gods. A goddess by the name of Ashura actually survived from the end of gods.
Ashura is still remains because she did not participated in the war that end all gods. She is the goddess of war and battle, her goddess ability is simply that she can never lost any war or battle. She rejected old gods request to join their sides in war because any side that is opposed from her will guaranteed to be slaughtered. She refrains herself to be involved, she hides away her own kingdom. After the end of all gods that she has no desire to rule over mankind because it seems pointless to her. She has her kingdom hid away throughout the history. However her kingdom has been referring to some legendary places like Amazon, Atlantis, Camelot and such.
Ashura, despite being the god of war and battle, she is benevolent goddess. Even she is trying to hide away from humanity but she wants to interact with mankind as to monitoring how human''s civilization has advanced. She will randomly hosting fighting events in her kingdom, which is where the place became the legend to mankind. She will grant the victors with some ancient relics, like some legendary weapons and gears. She also rewards all participants for their bravery with some wealth and fortunes. She will even accept those who are brave enough to challenge her but since no one can ever defeat her but those who has challenged her gained incredible understanding of war tactics and strategics. Since no one ever know who Ashura truly is, most of people who visited her realm is only thinking of discovering of some hidden kingdom and Ashura is the female king with lots of ancient treasures. It is however changed one day with the arrival of Siwon and Heishun, the immortal brother and sister.
Both Siwon and Heishun reunited after a few hundred years, they are now some famous fighters in this period. Since they are famous fighters so they got the invitation from Ashura to participate in the tournament. Ashura is not aware the siblings are immortals and siblings are not aware Ashura is actually the last remaining god.
During the tournament, despite now both Siwon and Heishun are very skillful fighters but they can still get cuts and bruises, however none of the blades can make Siwon bleed and none of the cut can wound Heishun. They won the tournament but Ashura witness the whole thing. She is only wondering if some of the gods also survived like her after the Age of Gods.
For the first time ever, Ashura issuing the challenge to the victors Siwon and Heishun. Since it is usually the other way around so many who served in the kingdom are shocked. Without knowing Ashura is a goddess that both Siwon and Heishun accepted the challenge. However as Ashura''s ability is never lost a battle of war that both siblings realized the person in front of them fighting them is indeed a god. Also for the first time since siblings gain immoralities, are actually taking damage, they are very certain Ashura is a god. As they submitted to Ashura and Ashura has a very kind look toward the siblings and welcome both of them to her private quarter. Ashura despite for a being that has existed for likely millions of years but still cannot help to show excitements of what she has just encountered. Ashura is very interested of how siblings has this unique immortality, siblings then tell the entire story of their first and last meeting of a dying goddess of purity, and how she offered herself as to continue on to spread the stories of gods. Ashura is fascinated by it and then she explained to Siwon and Heishun of why herself, Ashura is still alive. Ashura is now realized the siblings maybe the only people that actually have the real knowledge of gods. She has been very lonely for a very long time thus why she hosts tournaments as to lure humans to entertain her as to pass the time. Now she is finally meeting someone with the actual knowledge of gods and she is just very happy. Eventually after chatting for almost a decade, the goddess Ashura became good friends with the siblings, Siwon and Heishun. They shares many stories to each others, Ashura tells them about the stories of gods and Siwon and Heishun tells Ashura about their journeys around the world. Ashura is now realized the siblings maybe the only people that actually have the real knowledge of gods. She has been very lonely for a very long time thus why she hosts tournaments as to lure humans to entertain her as to pass the time. Now she is finally meeting someone with the actual knowledge of gods and she is just very happy. Eventually after chatting for almost a decade, the goddess Ashura became good friends with the siblings, Siwon and Heishun. They shares many stories to each others, Ashura tells them about the stories of gods and Siwon and Heishun tells Ashura about their journeys around the world.
Since only god can kill god, it is impossible proposal, where can they find another god to kill Ashura, especially she is goddess of war and battle, she can''t be defeated. So how will kill her even possible especially in the age of no gods?
Ashura has been given many humans ancient weapons and relics in hope that some of them can gain the power of deity and able to slain her. However not any of those legendary heroes ever reaches godhood as be able to use the weapons to kill her. Siblings feel pity of the goddess and went out on more endless journey as to find anyone that can reach the next step of reaching godhood.
Once the Age of Mortals reach the industrial revolution time, siblings realizing the old method of blend in with people will be tougher. They decided to focus on generating wealth which from all the centuries of artifacts they have hid away and now using it to build a few bases and move around them. Both siblings are no longer went on separate ways, they have spend the last 300 years living together and build wealth instead. Eventually the siblings created the prototype of Alpha Omega school, and since they still remain a youthful look which they decided to play a secret role within the school as "head masters" Siblings decided if they cannot find someone with god slain ability, then why not create one? They are now using school to search anyone with godlike potentials. Thus Alpha Omega school is born.
