 Who is the main character?

    A gentle and cool breeze went by, rustling the leaves as it passes through the trees, under one of which stood a first year high school girl. Her name is Yui. Having a slender body, beautiful appearance, cute face, gentle smile, and behaviour, she was radiating gentle and positive vibes all along. For this reason, she was given the name "The gentle princess" by her classmates.


    "W-would y-you please g-go out with m-me?"


    The cool breeze suddenly stopped its motion after Yui uttered those very words. Some of the leaves fell from the force of that gentle wind.


    On the receiving end of the confession, stood an almost unnoticeable character. His name is Tamiko, an introvert. He was, in one word, confused as to what was going on.


    Confessing on the school ground, the news spread like wildfire. That gentle princess asked a guy out? And its the most introverted person in the class? How is that even possible?


    Some people were shocked to hear the news. Some people rushed to the confession site to check for themselves about the truthfulness of the news. Some were even furious at the news. Well, among those who were furious, most of them was the students who were rejected by her. At last, she developed her courage to ask out Tamiko.


    What is his answer?


    The silence among the two lasted so long that Yui questioned herself if he even heard what she said. She was nervous of the answer. Its her first time asking someone out.


    "Eh? Yui-san? D-does that mean? Me? Eh?"


    He looked around in confusion. He didn''t believe it was him that Yui asked out. Having trust issues, he couldn''t trust himself with the thought that he was the one who was getting asked out. Maybe she confused him with another person-

    It was nighttime,


    Tamiko, who was out in the streets, chilling, saw something unusual. People might think introverts like Tamiko are usually shut ins. Well, most of them are. But Tamiko has another life at night. He has friends and he quite enjoys it. His get up, personality and everything changes. He is not a delinquent, don''t get the wrong idea. Its that he just enjoys the night more than the day. He doesn''t steal, rob, smoke or do weeds. He just walks under the starry night sky, enjoying the beauty of the stars...


    "Oi Tamiko. I have some plans for today. Our cousins came by our house. They want to see fireworks, so I might take some time to come."


    "Your cousin? That cute one which you showed me in the picture?"


    "Yeah that one. She was turning one year old today too."


    "Oh. Okay then. Don''t worry about me and just enjoy yourself. No need to come just to hang out if you become tired. You come here to hang out everyday man."


    "Thanks bro."


    "Okay then, bye."


    The call cut out as Tamiko was staring at the skys, appreciating its wonderful beauty that it has to offer. Having nothing to do, he was trying to find some ways to pass away his time. Until he saw something,


    A weird, middle aged, drunk, strange man was following a high school girl. Upon closer look, he recognised that it was none other that his classmate Yui, the gentle princess. She was walking in a tensed manner, looking back again and again. Her footsteps were irregular. Holding tight onto her bag, she was walking as fast as possible. Her face was screaming, "Someone, please save me". She was visibly distressed. It was the middle of the night. No one was there. He was sure that she needed help. But he didn''t know what to do.


    Then, she saw him. Without hesitation, she went behind him for cover. She didn''t recognise him. She asked him for help in a hopeless voice. He immediately knew what to do. He went in between her and the man, and asked him to stop.


    "Go away."


    "Who are you? What are you to her?"


    "It doesn''t concern you. Stop being persistent."


    "Yes. Yes it does. I''ve been following her for so many days. You can''t stop me."


    "You stalker..."


    "Its not called stalking, you idiot. Its called blind love."


    What a twisted personality that stalker has. Tamiko was thinking a way to shake him off. At first, he hesitated, but that didn''t matter in this situation. He shook it off and said,


    "She is my girlfriend."


    That obviously was a blatant lie. Yui knew that. It was necessary in that situation. But it didn''t de-escalate the matter. Rather, all it did was put oil in fire...


    At this, the stalker started crying,


    "You damn cheater! I''ve been loyal to you for so long and you''ve done this? You''ve been cheating on me. You cheater!"


    He looks at Tamiko. Then he pulls out a knife from his pocket. With anger, he charges with the knife at him and her.


    "You did this. Its all your fault. I''m gonna kill you!"


    Tamiko realises the situation. He is a smart guy. He pushed Yui away to save her, and decides to tackle the stalker all by himself. A stalker with a knife, while him unarmed.


    He slides his phone to her. He tells her,


    "Call the police. I will handle this situation."


    He then faces off with the stalker. He wasn''t scared. Thats because he practiced basic forms of self defence. He had mastered the ability to remain calm during these situations. He also worked out. He had a great physique, despite being introverted. For this reason, people didn''t notice his strength.


    As the stalker charged straight at him with his knife, he dodged it by moving his body to the right. He then grabbed his left arm and kicked his left leg, disabling him from moving for a short period of time.


    He handled the situation perfectly. He put the stalker into a choking position and waited for the police. Yui had already called them.


    After some time, the police came and arrested that stalker. Yui was scared for her life. Her hands were shaking, but still she came to thank Tamiko.


    "T-thank you very much for s-saving my life. I am sorry to drag you into this."


    "Its nothing."


    The worried expression of hers was lessened but didn''t go away completely. The shock hit her very hard. It was visible that she was still scared. Seeing her hands shaking that much, Tamiko just held her hands. Yui was flustered of the sudden action done by him.

    "Yes. My name is Tamiko, only Tamiko. I live alone. My parents died and I don''t know any of my relatives. I was going to get some groceries and I study at Sakura High School."


    Yui became surprised. She went to him and asked fro confirmation.


    "Wait. Are you Tamiko from class 1-A?"


    "Yes. You recognised me right now?"


    "I didn''t realise it was you. Sorry."


    "Its okay. Its only natural that people will find it hard to recognise me in this form."


    That was not the only reason. The main reason was his face. Tamiko actually had a pretty good facial figure, but he always hid it from others. If people were to see his face, he would automatically become popular among the girls.


    With that unusual encounter started their love story. As days passed by, their love grew and grew and today, Yui was the first to express her feelings for him. Although Tamiko was planning to do the same, Yui beat him to it.


    But Tamiko thought that if he were to date Yui from now on, her reputation would deteriorate. Yui realised his worries and decided to act on it.


    "T-Tamiko, your answer?"


    "Umm, c-can you give m-me some time?"


    His mind was thinking about what was going to happen if he was the one to dat her. He doesn''t want her reputation to deteriorate.


    "No. I won''t give you time. You have to answer me now. I don''t care about my reputation. Let it go down the drain. Now, whats your answer?"


    Tamiko became flustered about that bold statement given by her. Covering his face woth his hands and averting his gaze, he just shook his head with a gentle shake, telling that he agreed.


    Yui''s expression brightened as she got an answer. But the worry of Tamiko about Yui''s reputation was still visible. She knew she had to do something about it. To which, she hit upon a plan.


    They decided to go on a date later that night. It was their "first date", or "first official date". They decided to meet up infront of the station.


    They both were excited for the date, which resulted in them both being half an hour early. But that didn''t pose any significant problem.


    When they were planning for the date, Yui told him that she would give him a gift. Well, she took him to the salon. Pretty unusual place to be in, huh? But it was the best gift for Tamiko. She said,


    "You have a handsome face behind your hair. You were worried about my reputation, right? Well, I don''t care about those. But I do want to teach those enviers a lesson. Just show them your face, and they will go silent. They wont even dare to speak behind your back anymore. You don''t mind, do you?"


    That was the first time he was complemented by a girl. He was happy to the point that he was speechless. Yui decided to give him some room to breathe. Later, he cut his hair, and their usual date plan goes on. It was a blast for both of them. But next day was when things started to get interesting.


    Tamiko entered the classroom. Everyone remained silent. They had one question.


    "Who is he?"


    Someone asked him if he were a transfer student. To which he replied,


    "No. Im Tamiko. Don''t recognise me?"


    At this the whole class became shocked. And Yui also achieved her objective. In a passive aggressive way, she shut down those enviers mouths. With that, their first official date came to an end.


    That wasn''t the only date they went to. After that, they went to many. They even went to each others homes. Well, it was for study purpose, but you can call it a study date for the most part.


    "Excuse me for the intrusion."


    "Its alright. You can come in now, Tamiko.", said Yui. She was looking gorgeous today, with that blue skirt and white dress. She was looking cute nonetheless. As expected from the gentle princess.


    "But is it alright to come in? I feel like I am doing something illegal here. I mean, to enter a girls house is kinda... you know? Besides, your parents are not home too."


    "Don''t worry about them. I''ve asked them for permission and they agreed. So theres nothing to worry about."


    "Is that so? Well, thanks for inviting me for the study session."


    "I should be the one thanking you. Anyway, my room is upstairs. You go there and wait for me."


    "O-okay."


    For Tamiko, he has never been to a girls house before. He was kinda nervous. Actually, he was so nervous that he took half an hour to decide what to wear for the study date. Well, it was an unofficial date.


    Well, for Yui, it was the same too. She took more time than normal to choose that dress that she was wearing. She took a lot of time cleaning the house too.


    Anyway, thats not the main point. The main point is.... Yui''s parents were not home. Tamiko wondered how would they react when they come to know that a male friend of Yui came during their absence. Well, as they are parents, they will always have a little sense of distrust to any male friends of their daughter. Thats a fact. A universal fact.


    As Tamiko entered the room, he was amazed by the tidiness of her room. Her room was pink coloured, with her study table right beside her bed on the left side. She had a shelf with various books on the left side. It was a pretty cozy room nonetheless.


    There was a small table for them to study. Thats probably where Tamiko was expected to sit. He sat, opened his bags and started taking out his books and notes. Todays study subject was maths. Yui was a bit weak in math, which was Tamiko''s strong side. Therefore he decided to help her with it.


    As he was taking out the books and pens, Yui arrived with snacks and juice.


    "Sorry for taking so long."


    "No problem. So, shall we start?"


    "Sure."


    Well, Tamiko was expecting Yui to sit on the other end, but instead, she sat right beside him. He was a little embarrassed at this. Sitting next to a girl this cute... he was getting intrusive thoughts.


    Well, even though they started dating, Yui still hadn''t told her parents about it. She was a little embarrassed to say it to them.


    "Umm, Yui-san."


    "What?"


    "I think you are sitting a little too close."


    "O-oh. I will move then."


    Well, after realising how close she sat, she became flustered a bit. Her cheeks turned red. She quickly moved aside. Well, can they even study? Or will they just flirt with each other?


    Well, it was more like a tutoring session than an actual study session. Yui surely learned many things from Tamiko. He was a big help. But its also wrong to say that there wasn''t some flirting between them.


    "Hey Tamiko, how do I solve this problem?", said Yui, getting close to Tamiko. Her slender arms were touching his, but she was too busy thinking about how to solve the problem that that. But when she realised, she immediately backed out.


    Tamiko was bare surviving these situations. But he can''t let his intrusive thoughts win in these situations. He takes a glass of juice to calm himself down, but it only made matters worse. He spilled the juice, but none of it got spilled over Tamiko.


    They both panicked a little in this situation. Yui got towel to clean the mess, while Tamiko tried to stop it from spreading by tissues he had in his bag. While doing that, their head did a little bump. They were too close.


    They were so into their study sessions that it became nighttime. Yui''s parents didn''t come yet. They were stuck in a traffic jam. When she received the message, she realised how late it was.


    Seeing it was already 9 at night, they packed everything up and called it a day. That day, Yui decided to accompany Tamiko a little on his way home.


    "Hey Tamiko, you are a night guy, right?"


    "Yes."


    "What do you find so nice at night that is absent during the day?"


    "Various reasons. Nighttime is cold, it is silent, it is less crowded, it is gentle. And many more."


    "Do you hate the day?"


    "Well, I kind of did previously. But you taught me how to love it."


    Yui was flustered upon hearing that sentence from Tamiko. But she was also amazed by the stars of the sky right above them.


    "These stars are so pretty-"


    As she was saying that, she tripped on a rock that she didn''t realise existed and fell to her left. Tamiko, seeing this, as a reflex, hold her hand to stop her from falling. But instead, he lost his balance too and they both fell in the alleyway that was right beside them.


    They both are now inside a alleyway, beside the road. A dark place, where no one can see them.


    "Ouch, that hurt."


    Tamiko was on top of Yui. In a, uhh, kind of in ''that'' position. Yui was flustered. She could not understand what was happening. Even though Tamiko didn''t even dare to do anything, she gave up.


    She gave up any form of resistance. Well, it was that she wanted Tamiko to steal away her first kiss intentionally. Tamiko, on the other hand, couldn''t resist his own self, seeing Yui in that position. He tried his best to resist, but when he say Yui defenceless, he just couldn''t.


    He kissed Yui in the lips, in that position, where Tamiko was on top of her. But they didn''t stop there, they kissed again, but this time, it was not just any kind of kiss, it was a full on french kiss. It just happened in the heat of the moment, and both of them couldn''t resist.


    That day, they both had their first kiss. Both of them were flustered.


    As they were doing it, they heard a sound from behind. But they were too late to react.


    "Well well well. There is another pair of love junks in my area. Guess its time for me to clean up this mess."


    With a single slice, both went silent. It a fluid motion, both their heads fell to the ground. Not even a single drop of blood splattered. It was as if the body didn''t realise that it had been decapitated. Both the heads of Tamiko and Yui saw their killers. He was wearing a full face mask, with a high school uniform of a different school, a boy. He tells them in a calm voice,


    "Love is the greatest curse. Why don''t you realise that, you filthy animals?"


    Then, he closed off both Tamiko and Yui''s eyes. With that, their love story came to an end.


    Recently, there have been rumours of couples disappearing from the alleyways in japan. But nobody knows how or why. Some people were lucky enough to see them in action. Some even managed to take a picture of the masked high schooler killing couples in the alleyways. But the police couldn''t yet find them. People gave them the name "Quixotic Predator"


    The guy removes his mask and reveals his face. His name is Hiroshi. He studies at Ryotaro High school. Its pretty famous for its rankings in japan.


    A talented student of a talented school. Yes, he is the "Quixotic Predator". A threat that everyone fears. A threat that fills people''s minds with fear. A threat that made his name into the secret police''s watch list. But nobody knows his real identity.


    He is not a psychopath. He is not a stalker. He is just a normal student who hates the word "Love" and "Romance". The reason behind that is his past traumas that follows him...

 This is not a dream, but a nightmare...

    "Why did I do that? Why? Why does my past hunt me like this?"


    His voice followed as his hands was covered in blood, in despair and grief. He quickly flees from the crime scene. Removing his mask, he gives off a big sigh. He clearly hates himself...


    Not long after, he reached his apartment. An old, rusty apartment. Suddenly, it started to rain. He opens the lock, enters his room and says,


    "Im home."


    No response. He lives alone. He giggles a little.


    "I don''t deserve to be welcomed back."


    He goes straight to his room. He didn''t have dinner, because there''s nothing left home that he can eat. He sometimes work part time, but thats all. But there''s no need to worry. He drank an energy drink in the morning and coffee during lunch, so it should be fine. He should survive a few days without food, right?


    Although he kills lovers, he doesn''t take anything from them. He doesn''t steal. Hearing that might be strange. Like, why should a person kill even though he doesn''t want anything from them? That''s straight up psychopathic behaviour. I mean, yeah. But he is not a psychopath. He is conscious. Its his past that comes out when he sees lovers in schools, shops. When his past trauma comes out, he becomes a different person. He tries his very best to conceal his dark side. But when he sees couples alone in a dark alleyway, enjoying themselves and fooling around, he snaps. His dark self draws out, killing those who get to see his face.


    But right after he kills those couples, his consciousness comes back and he regrets his decision. Then this cycle continues. Basically, he has a split personality that he cannot control.


    In his room, he directly goes to bed. He is tired. Mentally out of this world, he can''t determine his true self. He remains like this until he falls asleep.


    That day, the had a dream. Well, it''s actually not a dream, but a nightmare.


    In the dream, he saw his mother, lying in the floor. Her eyes were soggy from overwork, her whole body was slender from the lack of nutrition. But thats not important. What''s important is the 2 bullet marks in her belly, from where blood is flowing out like a stream of river. The smell of burnt skin from the cigarette marks from her hands. And on the other end, there was the five year old Hiroshi, terrified of what he is seeing. Her mother told her last words to him before she died, those word that he will forever remember in his heart.


    His breathing starts to increase.


    Before she died, she said with a smile,


    "Don''t make the same mistake as me. Live on to have a happy life. Remember, love is the greatest curse."


    The last line echoed in his head. He wakes up, terrified and gasping for air. When he realises its dream, he calms down. The sun was rising. He went up and drank a glass of water. Then he starts off his life.


    Unlike her father, her mother was an absolute beauty. When he was young, he considered his mother as the most beautiful person in the world. He got his looks from his mother. He is quite handsome. He works out everyday before going to school, so he has a nice body too. But the only problem is, he is broke.


    He is not an introvert. He has quite some friends too. But he doesn''t get too close to them. So that if any of his friends get a girlfriend, he could kill them without mercy. Overprotective friends, am I right?... probably not.


    Today, Hiroshi ended up in a sticky situation.

    He was minding his own business in school, aloof from his surroundings and ignoring them completely, when his friends invited him to a party. But the thing is, it wasn''t completely a party.


    "Hey Hiroshi, wanna come hang out? We are going on a karaoke."


    "No thank-", he was about to say no, but then he realised something,


    "Wait. Going to Karaoke means I will get free food, right? I can''t miss this opportunity. How many day it''s been since I''ve had a decent meal?"


    "Okay. I will go."


    Well, seeing his reply, his other friends were quite, shocked. That guy who always rejects their invitation is now accepting it? Some of them were even questioning if they were in the real world or in a dream. One even pinched himself to confirm. It hurt. Its not a dream, its real!


    That was quite disrespectful towards Hiroshi. I mean, he do accept invitations once every two years approximately. So it''s not that bad, right? Right? Anyway...


    They did as they promised him and took him to a karaoke. But what they didn''t tell him was that girls were also coming too. Apparently, they were trying to get girlfriends for themselves. They knew that Hiroshi would decline as soon as he knew it was a group date, so they decided to keep it a secret. Well, thats not a problem for Hiroshi. Because he is gonna kill them those who will get a girlfriend anyway. No exceptions made. And thats how the Quixotic Predator, the one who kills couples, got stuck in a group date...


    I mean, he could''ve just went up and walked away from there. But the main thing is, he is hungry. He is trying his best not to unleash his dark side. His hands are trying to reach the knife and mask in his backpack. But he can''t do that. He has to keep himself calm. Meal is more important than murder, at least for now.


    Let''s just say, our boy Hiroshi is the most handsome guy in his group. So all the girls were targeting him. They were surrounding him like a pack of bees. He has a nice physique too. That adds a plus point for the girls. Well, he also made sure to remember the girls'' faces too. Because they are the ones who are gonna be killed. The girls were not from the same school, but from different schools. Although every other girl were surrounding him, a particular girl was doing nothing. Well, according to Hiroshi, the group date was a great success too. He now knows his next target to kill, and he has a full stomach too. He sees this as an absolute win.


    The next day was going to be another normal day for Hiroshi, until Yuki decides to ask out Hiroshi after school. Yes, that cold gazed Yuki. Not only that, his friends were there too. They were shocked. For Yuki to ask out that guy? Seems unbelievable for them. But thats what happened.


    By the way, Yuki is an absolute beauty. Her cold gaze, white hair, her face everything was pretty. For a guy like him, it was a jackpot. But you might be thinking that because of his past traumas, he would reject her, right?


    "W-would you like to g-go out with me?", she stuttered.


    The wind stopped. Everyone is silent. What happened? They look like they froze in time. The other boys were shocked.


    Meanwhile his mindset,


    "Huh? This girl has some guts. I have to calm down first. My hand is craving for that knife that I have in my backpack. But what should I do? It''s obvious to reject her and then kill her, right? They pushed Hiroshi and Yuki to go on a date, today. Hiroshi has some good friends that truly care for him. They weren''t jealous, but happy. They are the wingman everyone needs, but don''t deserve.


    "Call us for any tips.", they said. Not sure what tips they were talking about. But one thing for sure. Todays the day, Hiroshi''s going to be bankrupt.

 She was like a mirror...

    Well, they are now walking without any clue. Hiroshi thought of taking her to the cafe shop. Well, its not Hiroshi''s plan, but his friends''. And they can''t get any more awkward than this.


    According to the plan, Hiroshi takes her to a cat cafe. You might be thinking, why cat cafe? Why not any other normal cafes? Well, to say in short, the cat cafe was the closest to them than any other cafes. So he choose cat cafe. Don''t know if the cat cafe is a pretty good choice or not, especially when he is gonna kill her afterwards.


    They were drinking coffee. Well, only Hiroshi was. She was petting a cat on her lap. She likes the coffee moderately hot instead of burning hot, thats why she let the coffee cool for a bit before she drank it. In the meantime, a cat got up her lap and she started petting it.


    Hiroshi notices her. She looks mature and calm. Completely different from how she was in the group date. You can even say, she is now a little seductive. Her body movements tell that. Well, Hiroshi being Hiroshi, doesn''t fall for her tricks and tactfully avoids them. He is not single because he can''t get girlfriend, he is single because he chose to not have any.


    After some time, Yuki decides to take a sip of coffee. Hiroshi was looking the other way. He was looking at a couple. He is memorising their faces so that he can kill them later. Seeing this, Yuki''s gaze turned cold again. She was thinking that he was looking at another girl. Some suspicion deep inside her became even stronger that before. Well, any girl would be suspicious if their guy was looking at another girl, right? Right?


    Hiroshi finished drinking his coffee first. While Yuki was drinking her coffee, she asked him something,


    "U-um, theres a place that I''ve never visited before. W-would you mind if we go there together?"


    Hiroshi noticed something. Yuki was stuttering less than before. Maybe she feels comfortable to speak with Hiroshi more? That didn''t matter tho. Later that night, she was gonna be dead meat anyway.


    In honour of Yuki''s last date with any guy, Hiroshi decides to accept her invitation and go to that place. Yuki reveals that its the new amusement park that opened recently, and she has been longing to go there. Hiroshi is seriously going to be bankrupt today...


    After some time Yuki finishes her coffee and both of them starts for the amusement park. The amusement park was pretty close to the cat cafe.     Everything was going smoothly, but problem arose when Yuki wanted to ride the ferris wheel. Well, this time, Hiroshi was scared. Not for the reason you think. Hiroshi was thinking that if he were to go with Yuki alone in the ferris wheel, his dark side might come out and he might end up killing her on spot.     Instead of riding the ferris wheel, they decided to go around the stalls set there. Those are pretty popular too. They also played different games like shooting games and stuffs. They were playing the shooting game where the customer shoots the items and make them fall, when something happened. Yuki was getting hit on, by a what seems to be a thug, in front of Hiroshi.


    Well, Hiroshi isn''t going to let it slide. Because, how would you feel if your food was taken away by someone else? You clearly wouldn''t like it, would you? Yuki is Hiroshi''s prey, he ain''t letting his prey go away.


    "You have beautiful hair, miss."


    That startled Yuki. She just thanked him and hoped that he would go away. But he sure was persistent. Things escalated when that thug grabbed Yuki by her hands. But then, Hiroshi grabbed the thug''s hands. He has the eye of a predator who wont let go of his prey. Well, he grabbed the thug''s hand so hard that it might have broken the thug''s hands, but who cares? Everyone was cheering for Hiroshi after that happened. Yuki was also shocked at this. Soon enough the police came and arrested that man. And the fuss was over.


    It was getting pretty late too. It was very, very tiring for Hiroshi to do this. Although he is jacked, there is a limit to how much he can do. He is mentally drained, but he decided to target one last couple that he was going to kill. What a maniac he is.


    Finally, after so, so long of waiting, they decided to call it a day. Hiroshi, being the gentleman that he is, decided to walk Yuki to her home. Only halfway though, because he is gonna kill her. It was 11.30 at night. Perfect. There is no cars around, nor any people. This seemed like to go pretty well for Hiroshi. While walking, they went deeper and deeper in a more isolated area. Yuki must live in a remote area, Hiroshi thinks. Its getting more and more perfect for Hiroshi, he is feeling like he hit the jackpot.


    Well, for any other man, they would also think they hit the jackpot. Because being at night with such a beautiful girl in a quite place is kind of a heart pounding experience.


    "Oh, sorry. I think my laces just opened up. Let me fix it real quick, okay?", She said.


    Man, jackpot was hitting on Hiroshi very much. She got her guard down. This is the golden chance he was waiting for.

    It was not long that they realised the situation they are in. They also realised that there are not one, but two of them. They quickly step back and assume battle positions. Seems like a terrible battle is going to take place. Remember that, these two are crazy powerful creatures which can kill people so fast that their body can''t even react to it and they die without dropping a single drop of blood.


    Which of the Quixotic killers will last? Both of them have different reasons for killing, different perspectives and different personalities, yet they are assumed under the same name of ''Quixotic Predators". Its like they are fighting for their throne. The one who is deemed worthy shall bear its title. Truly scary stuffs.


    Its the middle of the night, a cool breeze was blowing. They take a step back again before charging at each other at full strength. But... something feels wrong.


    They didn''t hit each other. Well, that might be a partially wrong thing to say, because it''s not like they didn''t hit each other, rather because they couldn''t hit each other. Thats because they have no bloodlust for the other. Their dark side isn''t coming out. Hiroshi was shocked at himself too. Maybe, just maybe, he actually likes this girl?


    Nope. Not at all. Its not possible at all.


    Well, he soon realises why his bloodlust isn''t coming out. Hiroshi doesn''t kill just anyone, he actually only kills lovebirds that act all lovey-dovey when they are alone. He intended to kill Yuki because he thought she was like that. But when he realised that she also kills lovers and is actually not like that, his bloodlust was completely gone. Thus, he was unable to kill her.


    What about Yuki then? Why was she unable to kill Hiroshi? Well, similar to Hiroshi, she didn''t kill just anyone. She has her own problems and her own reasons for killing too...


    "Huh? It didn''t ring.", said Yuki.


    "What do you mean?"


    "Don''t you feel it too? The "rinnnggg" sound that echoes in the brain before you are trying to kill another person? Or is it just me?"


    "Well. Umm, maybe."


    Even though Yuki is a killer. She is a cutesy too. Unusually, Hiroshi found her "rinnnggg" sound to be cute. He is a guy after all.

    "I told you. I won''t kill you."


    Yuki is still on guard mode. To reassure her, Hiroshi said,


    "And also. If I happen to betray you, feel free to kill me. I won''t resist. I might be a killer, but I''m not a liar."


    Yuki is still on guard mode. A tsundere? It''s actually terrifying how quickly she can change her personality.


    After that, they decided to go their own way and head home. It was sure surprising for both of them that there was actually two "Quixotic Predators". Currently, they both now hold that title because of the agreement. Rather than fighting to their deaths, they ended it peacefully.     Hiroshi goes back to his home. But then, he realised... He hasn''t asked about their relationship yet. I mean, he is not in love or anything. But he is sure to be interrogated by his friends tomorrow when he comes to school. If that happens, what should he do? Should he say that they broke up? Or should he say nothing about it? He is confused. But he is more tired than confused. Rather than thinking about it, he left it for tomorrow and slept like a log. It was pretty tiring. It was too much information for him to analyse in a day.


    The next day, Hiroshi went to school. After a lot of thinking, he decided that the would say that the date didn''t go well and they decided that they weren''t a good match for each other. Well, even though he thought of it, it didn''t actually go as planned.


    As he was walking, Yuki came from behind him and grabbed his arm like a lover. He was surprised. Being flustered he said,


    "What are you doing here?".


    "This is just an act", she whispered.


    "Are you planning to hold onto me like this for the whole time?"


    "Yep. Thats the plan."


    "Won''t you have to go to school?"


    "Well, Yes. My school is in the same direction. So we can do it for a little longer."


    Didn''t I tell you about her personality changing talent? Well, now she is acting like a yandere. I think it works to her favour though. That''s because she can hunt down any and every prey she ever lays eyes on. Like you need different coloured camouflage to hunt in different environment, she needs different personalities to hunt different people.


    Well, they are going to school, so many students saw them together. Hiroshi was embarrassed at himself. His friends saw him too. They decided to patiently wait and went on ahead to prepare an interrogation chamber especially for him. Hiroshi is in for a tough ride today.


    Well, after some time, she decided to let go of Hiroshi in front of his school and went to her own school. She studies in a remote area. So no students of her school could see him. Although she didn''t notice, but she made life harder for Hiroshi today. Seems like not only the boys, but also the whole class wanted to know about it.


    Like I said, Yuki and Hiroshi both were good looking. They are like the perfect match. Some girls were grinning because now, Hiroshi was taken. I am sure it is good that Hiroshi is taken. Because, if any of them were to confess to Hiroshi, they would''ve become dead meat.

    It was a normal day after school. Hiroshi was walking alone to his house, when he saw a couple making out. He knows what to do. Luckily or you could say, unluckily, he was energetic that day, so he decided to go out for a hunting spree. He really hates these couples.     It was nighttime, actually there was no couples that day. Seems like people are getting aware of the "Quixotic Predators". Hiroshi doesn''t mind though. Because that is exactly what he wants. He hates killing too. But he cannot stop. Its like something from behind takes over his body and does the killing for him. Although he hates the feeling, he has gotten used to it.


    At last of his hunting spree, he found one couple. And of course, he killed them. He took their heads and closed their eyes, when something wild happens.


    He noticed a hand knife just barely grazing by his neck when he was closing their eyes. Somebody''s trying to kill him. But who could it be?


    He looked at the area from where the knife came flying from. To his surprise, it was none other than Yuki, wearing a mask to cover her identity. Was she also in a hunting spree too? Well, she wasn''t in a hunting spree. Rather, what happened was she saw Hiroshi going on a hunting spree, so Yuki decided to be a spectator and watch him.


    Hiroshi backs up and says,


    "I can''t believe you betrayed me"


    "Betray? When did I do that? Look back"


    Hiroshi decided to look behind him. He saw that a person who was trying to get a video footage of the Quixotic Predators'' action was killed by her. But when he looks back at Yuki, she wasn''t there. Rather she was at arms length from Hiroshi, holding a knife at his throat. Is this really the end for Hiroshi?


    Instead of killing him right then and there, Yuki backs up to his original spot and tried to engage in a conversation.


    "I trusted you for a bit. But this is complete betrayal."


    "Huh? Did our agreement say anything about not killing each other?"

    But asking for seconds isn''t very uncommon, right? But for Yuki, it was. Her ex was a playboy and was very abusive to her. He didn''t like her cooking and often times even threw away her hard-worked cooking. But the Yuki of the past was weak, so she couldn''t do anything about it, nor could she break up, because she was scared for her life. Thats why she was very happy.


    Hiroshi ate to his full. Seems like his unconsciousness wasn''t a curse for him that day. He decided to leave the house as it felt illegal to stay at a girl''s place for such a long time. Although he kills people which is also illegal...


    As he was walking out, Yuki also decides to follow him.


    "What are you doing?", Hiroshi said.

To which he went on and picked up Hiroshi with the intention of slamming him into the wall and killing him, to which his mother responded quickly and took Hiroshi from his hands forcefully.


    But this time, his dad didn''t even hesitate to beat up his mother. He grabbed her by her hair, kicked her legs so that she can''t walk and took her to another room. To where screams were heard for the whole day before his dad left the house. When Hiroshi entered the room, he saw the horrifying picture of his mother lying unconscious in the floor, having bruises all over her body. Those bruises were so bad that it turned black because of the constant beating done by his dad. She was bleeding in some places too. But she wasn''t dead.


    Hiroshi was smart back then. He noticed that whenever he got bruises, his mom would always put an ice pack there. So he went to the fridge and took an ice pack and placed it to the bruised areas. She hadn''t woken up until the next day. She woke up to see Hiroshi sleeping on top of her, with his eyes being wet because of hunger and a pack of ice in his hands. Seeing this, his mother started crying.


    "I''m sorry Hiroshi. I am such a terrible mother. I didn''t even give you food yesterday. What the heck am I doing sleeping around like this and make my baby worry? Thank you for helping mother. You will grow up to be a fine man. I''m sure of it."


    She picked up Hiroshi and put him to bed. Then she went up and did cooking for him. She wasn''t fine. Her whole body was aching from the pain. There were times when she almost fell unconscious again. But she refused to fall unconscious. Maybe this is called mothers love? After cooking the food, she went to the room where Hiroshi was asleep. She decided to wait for Hiroshi to wake up automatically. He must''ve had a very hard time last night staying awake. In his sleep, he said is first words,


    "Mama..."


    His mom was shocked to hear this. She was amazed. Her child uttered his first word! She was happy, very happy. She even started crying again.

    "Dear, could you please stop smoking in the living room?", she muttered.


    "Huh, what the heck did you say?"


    "C-could you please stop smoking in the living room?", she was trembling with fear.


    "Oh, now you are teaching me what to do? This is my house. I can do what ever I want. Oh don''t tell me you are worrying about this little brat that is here? Wait,let me teach him a lesson."


    Hiroshi''s mother knew what was going to happen and protected Hiroshi without hesitation. The situation escalated very quickly. Soon enough, his father decided to do the unthinkable.     Heres the reason to why his father became the way he is after Hiroshi''s birth. He didn''t marry Hiroshi''s mother out of love. Rather, it was out of lust. Her mother was good looking, and she confessed to him first. So he decided to build up a wicked plan to blatantly use Hiroshi''s mom. His plan was to use Hiroshi''s mom as just a pleasure partner. He never loved her even once. He was just using her as a toy. His plan was that after a year or two, he would divorce Hiroshi''s mom and would go away. He stabbed him twenty times. He stabbed him at every possible places he could stab him. From that point onwards, whenever he sees a couple, his dark side activates remembering those past, which drives him to kill people.

    After coming home, he jumped straight to the bed. Not because he was tired. Well, he is tired, but thats not the reason. The reason is, that was the first time in a while when he ate something handmade. He wanna eat it again. But too bad, he didn''t have any money.


    So he decided to do something any sane person would do in this situation. That is to look for a job. But as he is a student, he had to do some part time job.     "I see. I wanted to go to the movies so much, but I didn''t have the money. So I am glad that today I get to see it."


    Hiroshi''s mind was saying just one thing. That is her smile is cute, super cute. Well, Hiroshi just can''t stop himself.


    They went to the theatre. It was huge. Yuki was amazed by the sheer size of it. It was a new movie. It was named ''False Hope''. They luckily got the rows at the back, where they could see clearly. Hiroshi was happy that Yuki got to get the best seat as her first time, unlike him who got the first row in his first time. He still remembers his neck hurting when he came back home...


    The movie was good, but Hiroshi couldn''t help but watch the different expressions Yuki was making during the movie. Her happy, sad, amazed, shocked, all her emotions was like unlocking a new character for him.


    When they came out of the movies, Yuki looked sad.


    "What happened Yuki? Is something wrong?"


    "No."


    "You are looking down."


    "Its just that, I was wanting to show a bit more of what happens afterwards. It feels unfinished."


    "Well thats that. Its a movie after all. Its still amazing that they adapted all of that within two hours."


    "Huh? Its been two hours already?"


    "Yes."


    "I didn''t know movies were this long."


    "Just how much are you ignorant about these? I''m shocked."


    "I have no friends to introduce me to these."


    "Want me to introduce you to the things you were never introduced to?"


    "You will?"


    "If you insist, I can."


    She looked happy.


    "I am looking forward to it."

    Its currently the summer season, Hiroshi and Yuki''s schools both have given them the summer vacation. Although summer vacation is usually very exciting, it is not so much enjoyable for Hiroshi and Yuki, as they have little to no friends. A few days ago, they exchanged contact information and now they are quite aquatinted to each other. They often message each other.


    Oh, seems like Yuki sent a message.


    "I am bored..."


    Well, it''s pretty normal to have nothing to do in a summer vacation. What should Hiroshi do? He has nothing to do at home too. As he was thinking of it, someone rang on his door. Who might it be? He has no relatives who would come to his house at this time.


    He goes and opens the door. Seems like it was none other than, Yuki. That was quick of her to come to his place.


    "What are you doing here?"


    "I told you, I am bored."


    "Well, anyways..."


    It is not that much shocking for Hiroshi now, because Yuki often comes to his house. Its like a hanging spot for them now. He doesn''t mind though. Unless doesn''t hamper his normal lifestyle, it''s okay for him.


    Well, Yuki goes to his house mostly because the place she works is closer to his house than hers, so she comes to his house to rest. Sometimes she even stays for a night or two. It has become normal. The times Yuki comes, she does all the cooking, so its all good.


    "So, why did you come here?"


    "Nothing special really. I thought I have seen some games that we can play to pass time."


    "Really? I have games?"


    "I think I saw some when I last cleaned your house. Again, look at this mess. You never learn, do you?"


    "I wanna see what games I own too."


    "Thats some old games. I don''t know if it will work. But firstly, I need to clean this mess."


    She starts cleaning the room. In the meantime Hiroshi was searching for some games that Yuki was talking about. As he was searching, he found something that sparked a new memory of his past...


    It was the time when he got a present from his mother. It was a PS3. It was not much, but his mother saved a lot to buy it for him. It was when all his friends were talking about it. But he was the only one to be left out. He was sad, but he knew the condition of his family, so he kept quiet. But he couldn''t help himself when he saw the PS3 which was displayed at a shop. But he didn''t say anything. Of course her mother noticed it. So she decided to save up some money and gift him one. She didn''t know that one also needs to buy the games for it too, but when she gave it to him he was very shocked and happy at the same time. He didn''t care if he had games or not, he was very happy that his mother went all the way just for him to be happy.


    He would always kept it safe from his father to find out. Luckily, he didn''t find out.

    "Oh, I forgot about this one."


    Yuki comes out to see what was there that Hiroshi was talking about. She was joyed when she saw the PS3 that was there. It meant they can play games.


    "Its great! Now where are the games?"


    "I have none."


    "Huh?"


    Their conversation interrupted by another ring at the doorbell. Hiroshi goes to check while Yuki was investigating the PS3 of its condition. It is very dusty and they didn''t know if it still works or not.


    In the meantime, it was Hiroshi''s friends that came to his house. They thought there was none home, as Hiroshi lives alone. But then they saw Yuki. She was wearing simple clothing, so they were quite... surprised. She looked good. In fact, too good.


    "How long do you guys plan to look at her? You trying to make her uncomfortable or what?", Hiroshi told in a calm voice.


    I think I haven''t introduced Hiroshi''s friends yet. Well, this is the perfect time.


    Katsuro Yuuji, the fun type. A little bit air headed sometimes, but a good guy. He plays a lot of games too. He has orange hair and good height.


    Shichiro Ren, the calm type. He is not an introvert, but avoids talking than necessary. He is helpful, and is in the school''s baseball team. Has usual black hair. He is very strong.


    Akito Ryoichi, the helpful type. He is in friendly type with almost everyone. He helps the teacher, but he is not the teachers pet. He is the type of guys who has no enemies.


    And then there comes Hiroshi. The introvert type. Well, they kind of adopted him to the friend group...


    Seeing them come to the house, Yuki decided to be nice and went to prepare some barley tea. Its a new type of barley tea that she came up with herself. She treats herself with it during super hot days. It is really delicious.


    Hiroshi was hungry. He went to the fridge to check if something was there.


    "You hungry? If you want, I can make something."


    "That would be good."


    Those three were seeing the two together. They look perfect. Hiroshi comes and sits with them, but then they start teasing him.


    "She looks like a perfect housewife. You are lucky."


    They also noticed a change in Hiroshi''s behaviour. He is now more responsive and answers without delay. He has been eating healthy too.


    "Hiroshi, I didn''t know you had a PS3."


    "I have it, but I don''t know if it works."


    "It works. I''ve tried it. But where are the games?"


    "I have none."


    "Huh?"


    Yuki had the same expression. But Yuuji wasn''t giving up. He went out and brought his games that he had for the PS3. It is a waste to keep a PS3 without playing games after all. And as he sold his old PS3, he didn''t need those games. So he gave them to Hiroshi.


    They had a great time playing games. Yuki also joined too. It was a great time. Until Ren said something...


    "Don''t you think you are forgetting something?"


    "What?", Yuuji said.


    "We came here for the same purpose. Don''t forget that.", said Ryoichi.


    Yuuji then remembered. They came here for the homework. That summer vacation homework was kind of hard. So they came to Hiroshi to help. He didn''t mind it. Yuki was just sitting beside Hiroshi and seeing him teach them.


    Time passes by. They decide to take a break. In the meantime, Ryoichi said,


    "We will soon become second years, huh?"


    "Oh yeah. I totally forgot.", Yuuji said.


    "Its coming close?", Hiroshi asked.


    "Yes."


    He became curious as to Yuki''s condition. Are they becoming second years too?


    "Is the same for you, Yuki?"


    "Yes."


    "I see."


    After some time, Hiroshi''s friends leave. Now its for just the two of them again. Well, Yuki is staying for the night there that day. Hiroshi was trying out those games when Yuki went into the bath. She was tired for some reason, so a bath was perfect. She wanted some free time alone too. She went to the bathtub.


    In the meantime, Hiroshi felt the natural call. He went to the bathroom. Yuki, at that time, also went out of the bath. She didn''t have any clothes on, nor any towel. She was completely naked. And Hiroshi saw her at that position. She didn''t scream, nor did she slap him. She just asked,


    "What are you doing here?"


    "I just wanted to go to the bathroom."


    "Did you see?"


    "Unfortunately, yes."


    "I meant the injuries."


    "Yes. I saw those too."


    Her whole body was covered in marks of beating and cuts. Some places had stitches too. It was a horrible sight.


    "Those are my past traumas.", said her.

    The past that Yuki was talking about is the past that drove her to killing people. She told earlier that she hates playboys. That''s because of his past boyfriend that she had who was also a playboy...


    It started in middle school, when Yuki was still a young girl, not knowing about the things of the adult world. It was all because of one man that Yuki turned out the way that she is now.

    Well, after some days, Yuki''s previous best friend Izumi became the talk of the class and the hot topic. Because she was the first among the girls of their class who did ''it'' with her boyfriend.

Well, the word ''care'' wouldn''t fit. She was just barely surviving. Her aunt hated her. She didn''t even care for her. Her aunt had a boyfriend, she would only act nicely towards Yuki when he was there.


    In school, Yuki was bullied pretty severely. Well, no one even dared to stand up for Yuki. But there was one boy who would always look from afar. He was the popular kid. He decided to use Yuki in the most unimaginable way possible.

    One day, he arrived at Yuki''s house. Yuki was surprised at this. Why would a popular guy like him come to a girl like Yuki''s house?

    She was a bit upset. Well, their relationship was more than just friends, but less than lovers. They just get along so well.


    Hiroshi helps her make a schedule. He would teach her before and after school. The test is in 10 days. So they need to hurry. No time to waste.


    Everyday, Yuki would stand in front of Hiroshi''s school gate and wait for him. Then they would go to Yuki''s place and Hiroshi would teach Yuki the topics until late at night. He would stay there for the night, on separate rooms that is. This made Hiroshi''s friends a bit suspicious as to what was happening. They decided to follow Hiroshi and Yuki to see what they were doing. The next morning, they also saw Hiroshi coming out from Yuki''s place. So they wait for him in class and interrogate him.


    "Hey Hiroshi. How far have you gone with her?"


    "What do you mean?"


    "Why are you asking him that? Ask him how many times does he do with her every night."

    That day, Yuki didn''t come to Hiroshi''s school to pick him up. It was strange. Hiroshi decided to go to her house. Something must''ve happened. He started running to her house. He was thinking of the worst, like, she got killed, etc etc. He rushed to the apartment, he found it open. He opened and rushed inside, where he hit Yuki and they both fell to the ground. Yuki just came out from the bath, and only had a towel to protect her privacy. The towel loosened up and came out. Well, Hiroshi already saw Yuki naked previously, so it shouldn''t be that bad, right? Right?


    Hiroshi was on top of Yuki. It triggered Yuki''s past of how her playboy boyfriend was trying to forcefully do ''it'' with her. She started crying. Hiroshi immediately got up and looked away. But she didn''t stop crying. Seems like that was her weak side. Hiroshi immediately apologised.


    "I am sorry. It was not right for me to enter someone else''s apartment without permission."


    She was still crying. She was scared. Her past traumas came back to life. She just couldn''t stop. Hiroshi didn''t know what to do. Well, he did know what to do, but didn''t know if it would work or not.


    He hugged Yuki to stop her from crying. She unconsciously hugged him back. After some time, she calmed down a bit. Everything seemed to work out well.


    Hiroshi decided not to pressure her to study and left her apartment to leave her alone. But as he was leaving, Yuki stopped him. She doesn''t want him to go. She had tests coming up, so she had to study. They studied less that day. People might think that Yuki was overreacting, but only Hiroshi knows the pain of past traumas. Only they knew their pain.


    Hiroshi tried to go out and leave her apartment after finishing the studies, but Yuki still insisted him to stay. She was wanting to be spoiled, and it seemed real. It wasn''t one of her fake personalities.


    As always, they slept in different rooms. But when they turned off the lights, Yuki came to Hiroshi.


    "I am scared."


    She really wanted to be spoiled. Hiroshi saw a new side of Yuki that day. The only word that was going on in his head was ''cute''.


    She slept beside Hiroshi that night, but nothing suspicious happened. They didn''t do anything together. She trusted him because she knew that because of his past, he won''t betray anybody like her playboy boyfriend did. It was a sense of relief for her.


    A few days later, she did the test and the test results came out. Turns out, she got a 60 percent on the test. Its not that bad, but not that good too. Hiroshi told Yuki that if she needed help, he would help her for free.


    The test had ended, that means that Yuki won''t be coming to pick him up anymore. That made him a little sad. The day after the test, he was  kind of sad, because he knew that Yuki isn''t coming to pick him up, but he was surprised to see Yuki standing in front of the school gate after school. He became happy. But at first, he asked her if she needed help, to which she gave him a poster. It was of a new ice cream stand nearby.


    She again grabbed his hand and went to that ice cream stand. There they ordered two ice creams. When it came to the pay, Yuki refused to let Hiroshi pay. She told him that it was a treat from her as he taught her for free. Hiroshi was still sad because she wouldn''t come to his school and wait for him from that day onwards. As Yuki can read Hiroshi like an open book, she knew what he was thinking, but she decided not to tease him for it. Actually, she also wanted to wait for him in front of the school and go home together. She planned to go home together from then. It would be good for some hunting sessions too.


    After that, Yuki would always wait for Hiroshi in front of Hiroshi''s school gate and wait for him. Soon, it became their everyday thing. They both were happy with this.

    One thing has been bugging Yuki for a while, and its about Hiroshi''s mask. It''s kind of like... broken of in many places. It''s technically broken. That mask of his has 2 layers and the 1st layer is broken off on the left side. But he still doesn''t change the mask. Why is that? Is it because he doesn''t have money? Or is it something else? Now a days, masks like that aren''t that pricey. And also, they can make it one their own. And if thats also not possible, he could at least have repaired it. But he didn''t. It made her curious.


    They were going on a hunting spree that day. Actually, they are now working together. At first, the agreement was that they would do their own thing, but now, it seemed to have become void. Working together can be beneficial for them too, because they can cover each others back''s and look for people who want to capture them on camera.


    As they were hunting, Yuki brought that topic up about the broken mask of Hiroshi.


    "Hey Hiroshi, Why are you wearing a broken mask?"


    "Oh this? Its a memory of the past. You can call it a past relic."


    "Is that so?"


    "Yeah. Its the memory of the only good thing I did in my whole life I guess. You know how people view Quixotic Predators as ruthless killers?"


    "Yeah."


    "I was able to change that mindset of a child that Quixotic Predators are only ruthless killers that kills people without any reason."


    "How so?"


    Hiroshi told her about the story. It was from three years ago, when Hiroshi was in middle school. Yuki was not a Quixotic Predator back then. It was only Hiroshi who did that. But the Quixotic Predator was not famous enough to be known to people. It was after Yuki came that the killings doubled. It was also the time that people started to record them. Soon enough, they were named the ''Quixotic Predators''.


    The story was how he saved a little girl from getting kidnapped and raped by some dudes. It was a hard battle for middle schooler Hiroshi. Those people were jacked too.


    Hiroshi was going on with his killing spree that day, when he saw some guys troubling a little girl. Hiroshi decided to investigate the matter.


    "Hey girl, where''s your mama?"


    "U-um. W-who are you?"


    There were five of them in total. They looked at each other and giggled.


    "Looks like your mama is not here, kid. Oi, Takemi. You said you liked little girls?"


    "I love them. But the problem is, they get pregnant fast."


    "Will this one do?"


    "This one is perfect. It has a cute face too."


    "Let''s take her. If she becomes pregnant, we can sell her in the black market. Human child, especially girls, sell for a lot there."


    The girl was visibly scared. She tried to run, but they caught her. She shouted her lungs out for help.

    He had no option but to do that. He dropped his knife and went to his knees. Those guys then got up and began to kick and punch him, but he stayed still. He didn''t try to run or anything. Then they picked up his own knife and started to cut him down. The poor girl witnessed all that. The guy that was going to save her from the bad guys is getting hurt. She couldn''t do anything. One of the guy then punched Hiroshi on the face. Well, on the mask that is. Which broke the first layer of it on the left side.


    She knew she had to do something. She struggled to be free. She even bit the guy who was holding her. In the process she got a cut. She jumped out and immediately went to Hiroshi. She tried to protect him. Seeing her to be free. He picked her up and put her to the back. Then he said,


    "Hold onto me very tightly. Don''t ever let go of me, okay? Things are going to be a bit messy so you should close your eyes too."


    "O-okay."


    After she did that, Hiroshi finally got up and cleaned himself up a bit. And the rest is history. Soon enough, he was standing on a pool of blood, with the bodies of five person surrounding him.


    After all that mess. He got away with the girl. They both were tired. The girl had a cut on her hand. She was bleeding. Hiroshi took her to a safe place. It was a abandoned building. There, he took off his mask. The girl could see his face. He then teared up a piece of his shirt and wrapped it around the girls hand to stop it from bleeding.


    "What about you, mister? You have been beaten up and you are bleeding too.", asked the girl.


    "I will be fine. You don''t need to worry about it."


    "You are going to take me home right? When we reach home, I will treat you. We have a lot of bandages in our home."


    "Is that so? Are your parents doctors?"


    "No, but they need them often."


    "I see."


    "Thank you for saving me."


    "Your welcome. Now let''s get going. You parents are worried about you too."


    He got up and put back his mask on. Then he picked up the girl on his back and asked her for her address. But upon reaching there, he saw something...


    It was a big mansion that the girl was living in. She was rich. But that''s not the problem. The problem is, it was surrounded by the secret police''s cars. The secret police is the top most powerful defence force of the country.


    "You live here?"


    "Yes. And those guys are my father''s subordinates."


    "Those police guys?"

    Before he could react, he was in the lions territory. But he knew that he had to get that girl to reach home safely. He slowly walked to the front of the gate and dropped her. The secret police was shocked. It was an unexpected visitor. The girl ran to the ground and went to the policemen. Then she started to say all the good things Hiroshi did. But as she was saying all that stuffs, she looked around to see something unexpected...


    All the police surrounded Hiroshi. They had guns in their hands. They were all pointed at Hiroshi.


    "You are the serial killer that is on the loose. I didn''t expect you to be here. You are under arrest.", said one of the officers.
