《Turpes》 New You [October 13th 2010, Croatia] Michael was hiking with his brother Liam and their grandpa Samuel ¡°Look!¡± He screamed when he saw a small opening in the mountain startling both Liam and Samuel. His grandpa took a quick look, but kept walking. ¡°Looks like some animal¡¯s home.¡± Liam crawled in with his phone as a flashlight. He stopped midway and yelled ¡°It looks pretty deep!¡± Michael was the same height as his brother, but he was skinnier so squeezing through was not a problem. He was impressed by what was inside, the cave was twice as tall as him, but so long that even with a flashlight they could only see the darkness. Samuel wasn¡¯t happy that they had left him outside. ¡°I can''t fight through that.¡± He sighed to the boys. The boys had already started walking deeper into the cave. ¡°We¡¯ll just go a bit deeper!¡± Liam yelled back to their grandfather, but not that long after they got startled when Samuel grabbed and scared them. He then took out a proper flashlight from his backpack and started jogging deeper, leaving Liam and Michael behind while giggling to himself. ¡°That wasn¡¯t funny!¡± Michael whined to him, not happy about grandpa¡¯s surprise. They kept walking deeper and deeper into the cave, there was nothing on the walls, nothing on the roof or floor and it had stayed the same size for over a kilometer. Until finally they hit a dead end. Michael was very disappointed that they had found nothing, but Liam noticed something in the rubble that was the end of the cave. ¡°It¡¯s not the end.¡± He said as he was pointing to the top of the rubble where there was a hand sized hole. Both Michael and Liam tried to first see through it with just the flashlight, but the hole was way too small to peek through, but since it was hand sized Michael was able to take a picture. ¡°Let me see.¡± Liam said as he took the phone from Michael. ¡°What is that?¡± His face was almost touching the screen. He showed the picture to Samuel and Michael. Samuel reacted very hastily, he crushed the rocks around the small hole to make it large enough for himself to get in. Michael and Liam tried to see what was in there, but Samuel just ran past them holding something in his hands. Michael looked concerned as he tried to yell to his grandpa ¡°Where are you going!?¡± They got a very faint response from Samuel who was already far enough that they couldn¡¯t even see him when they pointed towards that way with the flashlight. ¡°Go home. I¡¯m taking this boy to a hospital!¡± Liam and Michael shared a shocked look with each other, neither of them really knew what to say so they just stood there shellshocked. Liam took a look at the cave. ¡°Heal, look.¡± He said to Michael who was amazed when he saw the perfectly spherical cave, they both jumped down there and took a good while looking around, but there wasn¡¯t anything else there it was just a spherical cave. Since there was nothing they headed back home where dinner was waiting for them. ¡°We found a person inside this really round cave next to the blue lake and grandpa ran away to a hospital and and and¡­¡± Michael was speaking so fast that their parents barely could understand what he was even saying. ¡°I haven¡¯t even heard about any child missing.¡± Their father John responded trying to calm down Michael who had way too much to say. ¡°I¡¯ll call dad later and ask him more..¡± Said Lara, their mother trying to change the subject. Liam noticed that they didn¡¯t believe what Michael told them. ¡°It¡¯s real,he can show the photo.¡± He interrupted his mother¡¯s sentence which also made their parents share a concerned look with each other. Michael showed the photo that he took of the inside of the cave, the picture was unclear, but it was well lit enough that the person laying right in the middle of the cave was distinguishable ¡°Did you recognize him at all?¡± John asked from the boys. ¡°No, grandpa just ran away with him.¡± The boys simultaneously chanted. Lara immediately went to another room to call his father while John tried assuring the boys that since he was taken to a hospital everything would probably turn out alright. Liam wasn¡¯t much concerned by it at all, but Michael could not get his mind off it, even when at school the next day, he kept hoping that they hadn¡¯t found a dead body, so right after school was finished he headed straight to his grandpa¡¯s place. He saw that Samuel¡¯s car was there which made him assume that he was home, but the door was locked and when he knocked on the door nobody answered. After a while of waiting he went to the back and snuck in through a window that he knew was never locked. The lights were on in the living room, but nobody was there at first until Samuel walked to the front door from the basement. ¡°Grandpa!¡± Michael yelled startling Samuel. ¡°Holy shit you startled me. Why are you here?¡± he immediately responded while looking out of the window. ¡°Was he alive?¡± Michael asked, ignoring Samuel¡¯s question completely. Samuel looked out of the window again before answering Michael, slightly hesitant. ¡°Yes.¡± he then responded. A sense of relief rushed over Michael, even if he barely even saw him just knowing that they could have found a dead person was making Michael not get any sleep. Samuel came closer to Michael and tried calming him. The moment of silence that it had created was cut short by some noise they heard in the kitchen. ¡°Shit!¡± Samuel uttered and immediately ran in the kitchen with Michael right behind him. Michael saw a person with really long hair and way too big clothes looking at himself in the mirror. ¡°Who is that?¡± He immediately asked Samuel. ¡°That¡¯s who we found in the cave.¡± Samuel responded. Michael was dumbfounded and tried asking questions, but was stumbling with his words. ¡°How is he fine?¡± He finally asked clearly. Samuel Hesitated at first, but he wanted to be honest with Michael ¡°Someone I know came to mend him.¡± Michael quickly realized something was wrong ¡°Why isn¡¯t he at the hospital?¡° He asked Samuel. ¡°I think you should go home.¡± Samuel said, looking out of the window again. ¡°But why isn¡¯t he at the hospital?¡± Michael asked again. This time Samuel didn¡¯t hesitate answering ¡°I didn¡¯t take him to the hospital.¡± He was trying to end the conversation as quickly as possible. ¡°Why?¡± Michael asked. ¡°I had more faith in the person who mended him than the hospital.¡± Samuel responded even quicker. Michael didn¡¯t ask another question, but was shocked. He had always been told to have faith in doctors, but now his grandpa was saying that he didn¡¯t have faith in them. His head was full of questions, but before asking any of them Samuel grabbed him and tried making him leave. Enjoying this book? Michael grabbed the door frame and asked Samuel again. ¡°What¡¯s going on?¡± ¡°JUST GO THE FUCK HOME MICHAEL!¡± Samuel yelled. Michael immediately let go and Samuel closed the door right after him. Michael was in shock, he had never heard his grandfather yell at anybody, he saw the boy they found through the window still looking in the mirror, making different faces, he then started running back home, but ran past a mysterious looking man, Michael ran a bit slower and looked behind to see better what the man looked like, but he only saw that man¡¯s head over his grandpa¡¯s yard walls. His curiosity won him over once again so he sneaked closer to eavesdrop, he could just barely hear the conversation. At first he heard an unfamiliar warm voice talk. ¡°He seems a bit slow.¡± But then he heard his grandpa¡¯s rough voice. ¡°I swear I got him to speak a bit, he only remembers blackness.¡± The warm voice continued, ¡°Well Mike can figure out what¡¯s wrong with him, I¡¯ll take him to Belgrade.¡± ¡°So, about our deal?¡± Samuel asked. ¡°Look, I respect your hustle, but I can¡¯t make that decision alone. Kire and Iro don¡¯t like you.¡± The warm voice responded Michael was peeking through the window and got a better look at the mysterious man. He was tall and was wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. He turned to look straight at Michael and immediately ran out the front door after Michael who jumped over the yard wall. Michael felt something like a bullet fly right past him, he also heard the man say something. ¡°How did they find me?¡± The man grumbled as he picked up a rock off the ground. ¡°WAIT! He¡¯s my grandson.¡± Samuel yelled to the man. ¡°Michael, get back here!¡± Michael stopped running and awkwardly walked back. He heard the man speak. ¡°Guess you aren¡¯t that soulless you kept your family from us.¡± He had taken off the sunglasses and Michael saw that he looked like he was 30 years old and had a stubble beard. ¡°I¡¯m sorry Vince.¡± Samuel responded to him. Vince responded back to Samuel calmly. ¡°Don¡¯t be, that¡¯s the most humane thing I''ve seen you do, but what do you want me to do about your grandchild? I can''t put faith in him to not tell anyone.¡± ¡°Take him to Mike.¡± Samuel quickly responded Michael had walked pretty close to them, but was still keeping a couple meters of distance, it wasn¡¯t much of help because Vince quickly closed that gap and grabbed Michael¡¯s hand which made him pass out. Michael woke up around 8 hours later unaware of that, inside a room with only a bed and a door. He immediately tried opening it, but it was locked from the outside. Then 10 minutes later the door opened and a different, shorter and younger man walked in. ¡°Come with me.¡± The man said and walked out the room. Michael obeyed and just followed after him into another room with a surgical chair in the middle, Michael passed out and the man sat him down on the chair, he then took out a chest on wheels out of a closet and opened the first drawer that was full of different surgical tools he picked a very thin almost toothpick sized rod that he poked under Michael''s upper eyelid and into his brain. 20 minutes passed and Vince came to check how it was going. ¡°Hey Mike.¡± He greeted the man cheerfully. Mike continued the operation, but still answered a question that Vince didn¡¯t even ask. ¡°This will take 2 days.¡± ¡°Alright.¡± Vince responded while nodding. There was a small silence which was broken by Mike. ¡°So who were they?¡± ¡°That is Samuel¡¯s grandson..¡± Vince was cut short by Mike ¡°Samuel Laray?¡± Vince continued his sentence, but answered Mike first. ¡°No Samuel Vesna, but I¡¯ve no idea who that other kid is so I wanted to ask if you found anything about him.¡± Mike took a long break from what he was doing to think. ¡°Why do I not remember him?¡± He wondered out loud. ¡°It doesn¡¯t matter, he¡¯s a nobody.¡± Vince chuckled ¡°Oh.¡± Mike sighed. ¡°Well, I didn¡¯t run any tests on the other kid.¡± ¡°Can you run them in your next session?¡± Vince asked Mike agreed and Vince was already leaving, but was stopped when Mike asked another question. ¡°So where did you even find him then?¡± He asked Vince told Mike that Samuel was the one who found him, which piqued Mike¡¯s interest. ¡°Yeah I¡¯m interested too.¡± Vince commented ¡°I¡¯ve to go, Run those tests!¡± [October 19th 2010] Michael woke up in yet another room, but this time there was a lot of stuff around, he was in a teenager''s bedroom, but he had forgotten everything. He had no memory of anything that had happened his entire life, he did still remember how to function. He walked around the room and got startled when he looked at himself in the mirror, he didn¡¯t know what a mirror was so it took a while for him to realize that it was himself. Michael then saw pictures on a drawer that had him as well as other people in them. Michael heard a male voice yell ¡°MICHAEL!¡± from behind and he immediately turned around to see a surprised man at the door. A young woman ran through the door and immediately went to hug Michael. ¡°We missed you two so much.¡± She cried. Michael was very confused. He knew what birth was, but this wasn¡¯t like that it felt he had missed a life. ¡°What¡¯s wrong?¡± The man asked. Michael was trying really hard to think of an answer. It took quite a while before he finally asked. ¡°Who am I?¡± Both the man and the woman looked shocked. ¡°You don¡¯t remember.¡± The woman asked, trying to hold in her tears. ¡°Remember what?¡± Michael asked, but he then realized that those were the people who were in the pictures. ¡°Are you my parents?¡± The woman immediately started crying tears of joy. ¡°Yes.¡± She cried out. Michael asked ¡°What happened? Why don¡¯t I remember anything?¡± which made the woman let go of Michael. ¡°You and Joy almost drowned.¡± She answered him. ¡°Joy?¡± ¡°You don¡¯t remember your brother?¡± She asked ¡°No.¡± Michael said, shaking his head. ¡°Do you remember our names?¡± She asked again. Michael only shook his head. ¡°I¡¯m Janko, your dad and your mother¡¯s name is Renja.¡± The man said. Michael didn¡¯t have a response so he stayed quiet until he said. ¡°I want to see my brother.¡± ¡°Of course you can see him, but he¡¯s still in a coma.¡± Janko answered. Janko and Renja took Michael into another room where the boy that was in the cave was laying on a bed. Michael didn¡¯t see it, but both of them looked very nervous as they waited how he would react. They were both relieved though when Michael finally started crying and collapsed on the ground next to the bed. ¡°Hey, calm down sweetie, look if you don¡¯t remember anything I understand this all will shock you so well leave you alone with your brother.¡± Renja tried calming him. They both left and closed the door after them, but they didn¡¯t just leave the room, they left the entire apartment and entered the one that was next to that one on the same floor where they finally left out a big sigh of relief. ¡°I think that went well.¡± Janko said to Renja. Replacement [October 16th 2010] Vince came to check on Mike¡¯s process again, but was met with disappointment when Mike told him that he found out nothing about who Joy was. Mike also told Vince that he might have accidentally emptied Joy¡¯s head completely. ¡°Do you still want to keep them?¡± Mike asked Vince who had been quiet for a while. Vince nodded ¡°The other boy still works, but I was thinking about what to do with him.¡± ¡°Well he still has a 12 or 13 year old¡¯s brain so he would probably learn basic things pretty quick.¡± Mike commented ¡°So you¡¯re saying he could still learn everything?¡± Vince asked Mike. ¡°I think so, but it''ll probably take a lot of time until he could become what you wanted him to be.¡± He answered. Vince left the room without saying anything else to Mike, who at first didn¡¯t even notice it, but when he did he immediately ran out the room and yelled at Vince to wait. ¡°Was the other kid¡¯s name Michael?¡± He asked first. Vince turned around confused, but gave an answer. ¡°Yeah?¡± Mike said something very interesting to Vince¡°I think he might be as strong as Five-Five.¡± ¡°Really?¡± Vince exclaimed. Mike nodded to him. ¡°I think so.¡± He didn¡¯t answer him, but turned back around and walked away so Mike wasn¡¯t able to see that he was smiling. Four days passed during which Joy was taken to that apartment building, Michael was also taken there, but when he woke up he still remembered his life before, so he was taken back to Mike. Finally on the 4th try he had forgotten everything. Vince had hired Renja and Janko to pretend to be their parents, but he had also hired another man named Jeso who lived in the apartment next to them and was tasked with keeping track of all the cameras placed in the apartment. [October 21st 2010] Michael was reading a history book in the kitchen, he was so focused on reading that he didn¡¯t even notice who sat next to him, he thought it was his mom or dad, but was shocked when he looked and saw Joy looking at the book next to him. He was startled, but immediately yelled for his parents. Janko ran into the kitchen and saw the two of them. ¡°Joy!¡± He then ran to hug him. Joy barely reacted so Janko let him go. ¡°Did he walk here?¡± Janko asked Michael. ¡°Yeah, I didn¡¯t even notice it at first.¡± He answered. Janko poured a glass of water to Joy, he looked at it for a while, but then grabbed it and drank from it. Janko looked a bit surprised. ¡°I guess the doctor was wrong, they said he would have forgotten how to walk.¡± He said. He and Michael showed a bunch of stuff to Joy to see what he would remember, first they gave him different fruits, he knew how to eat most of them, but he did try to eat a banana with its peel still on. They showed him other books too, he did look at them for a while, but it didn¡¯t look like he understood what was written in them. Two hours later Joy fell asleep and Janko took him back to his room, he then told Michael he was going to go for a walk. Michael immediately asked if he could come with him, but Janko refused saying that he was meeting a friend and left him alone. Janko didn¡¯t actually go for a walk, but went into the apartment next to theirs where Renja and Jeso were talking next to a monitor rig. One of the cameras showed Michael had gone back to reading the book. Jeso turned to look at Janko. ¡°I guess the doctor was wrong, they said he would have forgotten how to walk.¡± He quoted Janko Janko didn¡¯t realize at first and he looked confused. ¡°You said that to him when you were confused yesterday when Michael had ¡®forgotten¡¯ you.¡± Jeso mocked. Janko tried to come up with an excuse for the slip up, but was interrupted by Jeso, who was changing the subject. ¡°I told Mr. Vince that both of them woke up, he said that Joy needs a tutor.¡± ¡°What about Michael?¡± Janko asked. ¡°Mr. Vince said that he has someone who is gonna teach him Energy.¡± He answered. Janko was surprised that Vince already wanted someone to start training Michael even though it had only been just over a day since he woke up, but he knew not to question anything since he was only being paid to pretend to be his father. Around the same time Vince had arrived at a large mansion in Cape Town, he was there to meet with Kire, the leader of Aneta Racan. He rang the doorbell and waited until a boy with long tied up hair came to open it. He looked much younger than he actually was and was munching on something, he greeted Vince with a big smile and asked him to come in. ¡°What brings you here?¡± Kire asked Vince in a very joyful tone. Vince had to think what to say to not upset Kire so he took a short pause before saying anything. ¡°I, um.. asked Five-Five if she could come to Serbia to teach Energy to a boy.¡± Vince¡¯s voice had a unsure tone to it. Kire¡¯s joyful tone had turned into a serious one ¡°Why did you come here then?¡± He asked They had walked into the living room where Vince saw someone was on the couch, but he could only see their legs and couldn¡¯t tell who it was. He was a bit distracted by it, but did answer Kire. ¡°She actually told me that I should come here to ask you whether it¡¯d be alright.¡± ¡°Yeah it¡¯s okay.¡± Kire responded back in his joyful tone. He then walked to the couch and a girl sat up. Vince could now see her face and immediately recognized her. ¡°She was here?¡± He asked. The girl smiled at Vince. Unlike Kire, she looked much more mature than him even though he was 26 and she was only 19. She also had long hair. Kire asked Vince to come sit with them, but the moment he did Kire attacked him knocking the chair over, he had pinned him down on the ground and was holding a dagger in his left hand. ¡°What¡¯s gonna make this new boy different from Kate?¡± He demanded an answer. Vince was terrified and couldn¡¯t answer at all until Kire threatened him more. ¡°She was just a bad choice.¡± Vince squeaked. This only angered Kire more, he hit Vince in the qut pretty lightly, but it still hurt him alot. ¡°And how do you know this new one isn¡¯t?¡± He yelled. Vince had no answer to Kire who shook him demanding an answer. ¡°I don¡¯t know!¡± He finally cried out. Kire got off of him and looked very disappointed. ¡°She¡¯ll come and train him.¡± He exasperated. Vince immediately looked at him and turned visibly happy. ¡°But, if he hasn¡¯t killed Kate within a year I¡¯ll kill both him and you.¡± He added. Vince was completely quiet. Kire put the dagger down. ¡°Is it worth that much?¡± He asked. Vince nodded to Kire. ¡°If she trains him.¡± He gestured towards Five-Five who looked slightly amused. ¡°He¡¯ll be more than capable of killing Kate in a year.¡± ¡°That¡¯s a lot of confidence.¡± Kire said. He then sat on the couch. ¡°Now get the fuck out of here.¡± Vince quickly got out of the mansion, he got in his car and drove away. He was frustrated by how Kire had treated him like he was nothing, but knew he couldn¡¯t do much about it. Two days passed with nothing out of the ordinary happening, Michael spent most of the day reading and trying to teach Joy how to speak as well. She walked in and saw a man waving at her. He got up and introduced himself when Renja came to the table. ¡°Hello, you¡¯re Renja right?¡± He asked. Renja nodded, and he continued talking. ¡°My name is Ratimir Georgijevi? and I''m a trained elementary school teacher.¡± He introduced himself. Renja awkwardly sat down, she was completely clueless, what she should ask him. ¡°What made you want to become a tutor?¡± She uttered. ¡°I just felt under pressure in a school environment so I thought It¡¯d be easier for me to teach only one child at a time.¡± Ratimir explained. Renja had an awkward smile while she was nodding. ¡°Okay, umm, you¡¯re hired.¡± She said while getting up. ¡°I¡¯ll text you our address, you can come tutor him tomorrow after 12am.¡± She then left, leaving the confused Ratimir at the table. Ratimir stayed there for a while, but soon also left. He came to their apartment the following day a bit after 12. Renja introduced Joy and Michael to Ratimir, she then told Ratimir that she had to leave for work. In reality she joined Janko and Jeso in the apartment next door. Ratimir had been told about Joy¡¯s memory loss so he was aware that Joy couldn¡¯t speak and since he hadn¡¯t been told what to teach Joy he decided that teaching him to write for now would be the easiest thing. Michael was very keen on helping Ratimir teach Joy. Meanwhile in an office Vince was also meeting with someone, though he didn¡¯t know it. He got a surprise visit from Kire and Five-Five who came in there. Vince was very surprised. ¡°Why are you here?¡± He asked them. Kire had a mischievous smile on his face, Vince immediately thought that he had come there just to play with him. ¡°She came to train your child.¡± Kire answered. Vince was trying to hide his frustration. ¡°He¡¯s not my child.¡± He corrected Kire. ¡°I was asking why did you come here?¡± ¡°Iro is in Romania, I¡¯m going to get him back from the GA.¡± He answered. ¡°Today?¡± Vince was confused, why was Kire laying around in his mansion when Iro needed help. He almost asked that from Kire, but he knew Kire wouldn¡¯t be happy. ¡°Wh¡­ Do you need help?¡± ¡°No need to hurry.¡± Kire answered. ¡°I want to meet that boy of yours.¡± Vince thought he understood Kire now. ¡°Oh, so that¡¯s why you also came here.¡° ¡°No. I came to wait. Right now, Vb Ganz and Eaco Riley are in Romania guarding Iro.¡± Kire explained. Vince had more questions, but he thought it would be better not to pry further. ¡°I¡¯ll take you to their house.¡± Vince drove them to an apartment building that the Aneta Racan owned, everybody living in it was in some way related to Aneta Racan or Vince. They took the elevator to the 5th floor where Michael and Joy lived. They entered Jeso¡¯s apartment instead and saw Janko, Renja and Jeso having a conversation. Renja and Janko immediately tried pretending to be doing something when they saw Vince while trying to hide their embarrassment. ¡°These two are pretending to be his parents while Jeso here is tasked at informing me about everything unnatural that happens in that apartment.¡± Vince explained. ¡°Renja or Janko introduce Michael to these two.¡± At first they were a bit surprised that Vince was talking in English to them, but they quickly understood that Kire and Five-Five probably didn¡¯t speak Serbian. Janko then volunteered and shortly left the apartment with Kire and Five-Five. ¡°They¡¯re Michael¡¯s teachers?¡± Jeso asked in Serbian. ¡°They¡¯re Kire and Five-Five, but I originally only asked her to teach. I''ve no clue why Kire is tagging on as well.¡± Vince explained Jeso and Renja shared a horrified look because they hadn¡¯t shown any respect to either of them, but Vince caught onto it and assured that neither Kire or Five-Five cared about that. ¡°They won¡¯t do anything if you don¡¯t treat them like kings only if you ask stupid questions or are annoying.¡± Vince told, he was acting as if he knew better, but he had done just that 2 days ago. Janko came to the living room with Kire and Five-Five where Joy, Michael and Ratimir were. He first introduced himself to Ratimir in Serbian and then explained to him that they were going to be teaching Michael in English. He didn¡¯t use names since he didn¡¯t know them nor did he tell what they were going to teach Michael. Kire went for a really close look at Michael. ¡°Come with us.¡± He said in perfect Serbian, surprising everybody who thought he didn¡¯t speak it. Kire then grabbed Michael by the waist and left with him and Five-Five. Janko didn¡¯t run after, but was really confused, 10 seconds later the entire building trembled. Ratimir was even more confused than Janko. ¡°Why did they leave so quickly?¡± He asked. Janko had no answer to him, at first he thought of just staying there to not arouse any suspicion, but he just decided to go into the other apartment. Vince was alone in the computer room sitting on a couch holding his head, he was in a very bad mood. Renja and Jeso had moved into the kitchen and called Janko there. ¡°What the hell was that?¡± Janko almost yelled. Renja tried shushing him. ¡°Try to keep it down, Mr. Vince is in a very bad mood now. ¡°Why?¡± Janko asked. ¡°I don¡¯t really know.¡± She answered. ¡°But they were Kire and Five-Five.¡± Janko went completely pale. Everyone in Aneta Racan knew who they were, Kire at the very least and most were unaware of what he really was like, so most of his reputation had come from stories that had been shared between people. Now most people thought that he was a scarier version of Vince who already was very precise. ¡°Mr. Vince said that he doesn¡¯t care about formalities.¡± Renja told him. ¡°Honestly he seemed nothing like Vince.¡± Vince then walked into the kitchen. ¡°Where did they go?¡± He asked. ¡°I¡¯m not sure, I didn¡¯t hear them say anything. ¡°I fucking hate him!¡± Vince yelled. ¡°I¡¯m leaving, if he brings Michael back, act accordingly. I¡¯ve no idea what Kire is trying to do.¡± Vince then left. ¡°One of you should go back to Joy at least when Ratimir leaves.¡± Jeso said. The tremble from earlier was Kire and Five-Five, when they got out of the building Kire let go of Michael and told him to get on his back, Michael was confused, but thought nothing of it and obeyed. Both Kire and Five-Five then winded up and jumped over 2 kilometers high. While up there Kire saw a gymnasium building, something appeared below their feet and they jumped again towards the gymnasium. Michael was mesmerized by what was happening. When they landed they created quite a bit of commotion. Kire let Michael down, they walked into the gymnasium and past the front desk into an empty indoor court. A wall emerged from the ground in front of the door, Kire took a deep breath and then tried to hit the wall, but his punch stopped right before it hit. ¡°What was your name?¡± he asked Michael. ¡°Michael.¡± ¡°Do you know what energy is?¡± Kire asked ¡°No.¡± Michael ¡°I¡¯m not really good at explaining it, but basically it¡¯s what humans decided to call the ability to control the form of energy within ourselves. Everybody does it subconsciously, but someone amazing discovered that if you try hard enough you can do all kinds of awesome things.¡± Kire grabbed Michael by his elbows. ¡°Your parents told me that you would be much better at it than most people.¡± Michael suddenly felt like his fingertips were burning, he instinctively got startled, but the pain didn¡¯t vanish, he looked at his hands that were shaking, he slowly got accustomed to the pain, when he finally stopped squirming Kire let go of him. ¡°Try replicating this.¡± He said as he raised his hand toward one of the walls and a beam of light shot out of his palm. Michael was amazed he then raised his hand, but nothing happened. Kire then grabbed his hand. ¡°Try to focus on what happens in your body.¡± A beam of light shot out of Michael¡¯s hand. ¡°Did you feel it?¡± Kire asked. Michael nodded and Kire let go of his hand. Michael took a deep breath and focused really hard, shortly after a much smaller beam of light shot out of his hand, it didn¡¯t travel far until it vanished, but Five-Five was still clapping. Michael looked at Kire and was visibly excited. ¡°We¡¯ll teach you a lot more.¡± Kire grinned. A young man was walking down a hallway, he entered a bedroom at the end of the hallway ¡°Kate?¡± The man spoke. A girl turned around in bed, she looked very sleepy, her short black hair was very messy and her shirt was almost coming off. ¡°What?¡± She muttered. ¡°Vince has found a replacement for you.¡± The man told. Kate quickly got up, she wasn¡¯t wearing pants or underwear, but that didn¡¯t stop her, she stormed out the room. The man looked around the room and saw a pair of pajama pants on a chair. He grabbed them and went after Kate. She had gone into the kitchen and was chugging down an entire carton of milk. ¡°Brown.¡± Kate called for the man. ¡°Yup.¡± Brown grabbed her by the waist and tried putting the pants on her ¡°Who told you about that?¡± Kate asked. Brown had gotten both of Kate¡¯s legs through and was now pulling the pants all the way up. ¡°Me and Bobby got some old friends who work for him and heard that he was hiring 2 people to pretend to be parents.¡± Brown explained. ¡°I¡¯m going there.¡± Kate declared. ¡°I wanna save whoever that rat is grooming. Brown was shaking his head. ¡°Kire is in Europe.¡± He warned. ¡°I¡¯m guessing you¡¯re stopping me from going then?¡± She sighed. ¡°Why tell me then?¡± ¡°I told you because I don¡¯t want to keep it a secret, but I won¡¯t stop you from going, all I¡¯m asking is that you won¡¯t just barge in there.¡± Brown pleaded. ¡°They want you dead and from what I¡¯ve heard you are somewhat a celebrity amongst them so if a word gets out that you¡¯ve been seen anywhere Kire will continue searching for you with everything he''s got.¡± ¡°So what do you want to do?¡± Kate asked. ¡°Bobby is there, he¡¯ll get some people to find out who the replacement is. Then you can directly go there and bring him here.¡± Brown advised. ¡°Ok.¡± Kate sighed, she kissed Brown. ¡°I¡¯m going back to bed then.¡± Brown looked very concerned. He took out his phone and dialed a number. ¡°What¡¯s up?¡± The phone answered. ¡°I told her.¡± Brown ¡°Let me guess, she wants to come here?¡± The phone ¡°Yup, I got her to back off for now, but she still wants to take the replacement away from Vince.¡± Brown ¡°Yeah bad news, Kire isn¡¯t just in Europe, he came here to meet the boy.¡± The phone ¡°What?¡± Brown was shocked. ¡°You already knew who it was.¡± ¡°Sorry I didn¡¯t tell you, I did it for you and Kate.¡± The phone ¡°Ok.¡± Brown was silent for quite a while. ¡°Thanks Bobby, I¡¯ll keep in touch.¡± ¡°Yeah no worries.¡± Bobby said and ended the call while Brown sat down to ponder. ABCD [October 22nd 2010] Kire had arranged a much larger indoor court, where he and 55 had brought Michael. He wasted no time and immediately started to lecture Michael. ¡°Since most strength comes from cultivation almost every person who knows Energy, only uses a few techniques that they picked out or came up with, myself and 55 included. Since I can¡¯t teach you after today anymore, I''ll show you my most important technique.¡± He took some distance from 55 who shot an orb that was glowing light yellow towards him, it traveled at such a speed that Michael only caught a glimpse of it before it completely vanished right before it hit Kire. ¡°If you freeze and strengthen the nitrogen atoms in the air it can block basically anything.¡± Kire explained. Michael had no idea what it meant and 55 was rolling her eyes. Kire grabbed Michael and tried controlling Michael¡¯s energy to replicate his forcefield, but Michael passed out immediately. 55 didn¡¯t look happy at all, she signed something with her hands to Kire. ¡°Well he has felt what it''s like.¡± He responded. 55 shook her head and signed something again which made Kire leave. Michael woke up 20 minutes later and saw 55 sleeping. He looked around, but got startled by her tapping on his shoulder. She took out her phone and wrote something which she then played out with text-to-speech. ¡°He has other things he has to do so from now on I¡¯ll train you.¡± Michael had been told the previous day about 55¡¯s disability. 55 taught Michael how to cultivate through meditation while also teaching him sign language. Everyday for the next 9 days she would pick Michael up and bring him to the indoor court for training. [November 2nd 2010] Michael was completely accustomed to the life he had now, he was also able to understand most things 55 signed although it always took a bit of time. Meanwhile Joy had completely learned to read and now spent most of his days reading science books. Vince told Renja and Janko to fire Ratimir, but he also told them that Michael and Joy were to be sent to an actual school. Theri first day there was coming and Michael had been so excited that he got no sleep the entire night. Renja took them to a large institute in the middle of Belgrade, it stood out very heavily from all the other smaller and older looking buildings. They were immediately taken into a room where multiple other children and their parents were waiting. They got a ticket with the number 772 on it, Renja looked at a screen that said 765 and sat down. Within 5 minutes it turned to 772, they got up and entered another room where they were greeted by a man who was sitting behind his desk. ¡°Sit down.¡± He said. ¡°My name is Stanko ?ivanovi?.¡± He introduced himself. ¡°Please fill out these forms.¡± He gave her two forms that were asking for their personal information. After Renja had filled them the man asked them to continue to the next room where Joy and Michael were taken to different rooms. Renja had to wait 40 minutes before Michael finally returned, but they had to wait over an hour after that until Joy finally returned. A girl also came with him and apologized profusely for the wait and explained that Joy just would not fail any of the memory tests he was given. She gave Renja the sheet of paper and it showed that Joy had scored almost 5 times as high as Michael. She was petrified, but they were advised to move out of the way so others could get tested so they continued on with the other tests that were after. The remaining tests took around an hour, they then went to a final room where a man who had already seen their scores was waiting. ¡°They will both be placed in the 5th special class we have.¡± The man explained to them. Renja left the boys there while she was finally free. She hurried back to the apartment where she showed the results to Janko and Jeso. They could not believe that the numbers were so big, especially Jeso whose eyes were glued to the amount of energy they had calculated for Michael. ¡°He has more energy than us..¡± He murmured and threw the paper away. ¡°I don¡¯t want to fucking die¡­¡± Renja commented. ¡°50 million isn¡¯t that much.¡± Janko interrupted her. ¡°And it doesn¡¯t mean he is strong, just that he¡¯s got a lot of Energy.¡± ¡°Enough to kill us.¡± She disputed. ¡°I didn¡¯t sign up for a suicide.¡± ¡°What if we kill him?¡± Janko suggested. ¡°Really?¡± Jeso was staring at him with disapproval. ¡°What do you think happens to us after that?¡± ¡°Michael seems pretty docile.¡± He continued. ¡°I wouldn¡¯t worry too much, but I can try to come up with something.¡± ¡°She¡¯s just delusional.¡± Janko mocked. Jeso silently agreed with him, but also thought that countermeasures wouldn¡¯t hurt. He sat down and watched as Renja and Janko continued bickering like children. Meanwhile in Romania Eaco Riley and Vb Ganz who were guarding Kire¡¯s friend Iro got a message that had a picture of Michael¡¯s test results. Eaco, who received it first, immediately started coughing because she almost choked on her food upon seeing it. Vb looked a bit concerned. ¡°You okay?¡± He asked, but when Eaco showed the picture to him, he gave a concerned chuckle and then went silent. ¡°This is from Serbia.¡± She broke the silence. ¡°I don¡¯t think anyone else is closer.¡± ¡°You¡¯re planning on going there?¡± Vb asked. She didn¡¯t directly answer. Vb could tell that Eaco wanted to go, but was debating because she knew that it would be risky. ¡°Is nobody really closer?¡± He asked, a bit concerned. She checked a list on her phone that was live updating. ¡°Milo is in Germany.¡± She answered. ¡°How long do you think it would take you?¡± Vb had already practically accepted that Eaco was going to go to Serbia. He completely understood Eaco¡¯s concern for someone like Michael to fall on the wrong path. Eaco got up. ¡°I¡¯ll be back by today.¡± She rushed out onto the roof where a helicopter was waiting. One hour after she left, Kire was already walking right in through the prison¡¯s front door. He came wearing military gear and sunglasses, the man who was working at the front desk was weirded out, but his head suddenly exploded. Kire continued into the cell block, while destroying the door to every cell freeing every other prisoner that was in there while killing all the guards that were there, but his flow was finally stopped when he came across Vb who was looking right at him from a higher floor. After a brief staring contest Vb jumped down and immediately fired a plasma ball at Kire, but he very easily blocked it with the forcefield. Vb then went in for close combat first hitting him very hard, but when he realized that strength would have no effect against Kire¡¯s force field he continued with a combo exchanging strength for speed and quantity, he was only trying to buy time and prevent Kire from getting to Iro¡¯s cell, but their exchange ended abruptly when Kire hit him so hard he flew right through the closest wall. Vb didn¡¯t get knocked out, but it still gave Kire an advantage, as Vb was rushing back in he only saw the top of Kire¡¯s head as he was falling through a hole he had made. Vb jumped after him, but it was too late, the only door on the last floor was melting away, Kire started holding his breath and another man walked through and Kire ripped a wristband off of him. ¡°Been a while Iro.¡± Kire said while grinning and kept holding his breath. Kire was grabbing Iro¡¯s elbow who now also started holding his breath. Vb knew he was fucked, he tried to jump up, but Kire caught up to him and threw him down where Iro started hitting him. Kire also fell back down and they were both hitting Vb who was laying on the ground, he was able to block most of their hits, but was sure that he would not last long enough until anybody got there, so he decided to risk his life while trying to get away. Kire ignored his question, he drank the entire mug in one breath and poured a new one for himself. ¡°Did Laray visit you?¡± He then asked. ¡°No.¡± Iro answered ¡°Only Tatadoro came, of course Ganz and Riley were the guards so they came pretty much everyday.¡± ¡°Who caught you in the first place?¡± Kire asked. ¡°Tatadoro, Ganz.¡± Iro was thinking for a while. ¡°There was a third one, but I can''t recall his name. Vb looked at him for quite a while. ¡°You¡¯re not Milo.¡± He then stated. The boy then backed off while the other one helped Vb up. ¡°So where is Eaco?¡± The red haired boy asked. ¡°Thought you were both supposed to be here, or did she die?¡± ¡°She went to Serbia.¡± Vb answered. The boy chuckled. ¡°Who conjured her to do that?¡± He joked. Vb didn¡¯t take it as a joke. ¡°It was our collective decision. There is a boy there who could be as dangerous as Kire.¡± He defended. ¡°Where in Croatia?¡± The boy asked and as soon as Vb said the school he vanished right before their eyes. Later that day Janko went to pick up Michael and Joy, but they weren¡¯t where Renja had asked them to come after the school finished. Initially he thought not much of it and assumed that they were picked up by Kire and 55, but then realized that Joy wouldn¡¯t have been picked up. He immediately called Jeso and Renja and they all panicked. They weren¡¯t sure if it was their fault because Vince had given them the order to enroll both of them, but neither him or them had accounted for the possibility that they would disappear. All their theories of the worst scenarios were wrong because Michael and Joy had simply gone to a park with a few of their classmates. They spent the entire rest of the day there until all of their classmates had to go home. Michael remembered that they were supposed to be picked up by their mom and didn¡¯t know how they were going to get back home, but Joy seemed very confident because he suddenly started walking away and Michael of course followed because he didn¡¯t know what else to do. While they were walking away Joy subtly looked behind and stared right at Eaco who had been watching them the entire day, Michael also looked back and saw her. She was shocked, but felt that doing anything sudden would raise more suspicions. She was the only other person in the park so Michael started walking towards her followed by Joy, Eaco started panicking a bit, but when they finally came to her she was relieved to hear Michael only ask for her help to get home. First she looked around for other people and then asked where they lived. Michael realized that he would have to know where they lived himself for anyone to be able to help them. Eaco knew where they lived because she had seen the paper that had all of Michael¡¯s information, but obviously couldn¡¯t just take them home. She was shocked though when Joy started drawing a map on the ground from the park back to the school and then their address. She was quiet for a while, but pretended to take a picture of the directions and then drove them there. Eaco said her goodbyes to the boys and drove a block away from the building. She had heard what had happened in Romania after she left, but still felt that it was worth coming to Serbia instead, especially now when she had a slight idea on what Michael was like and also because she was sure that Michael wasn¡¯t the only brilliant child that family had. Since she didn¡¯t need to go back to guard Iro she decided to stay in Serbia to look more into Michael and Joy. She returned the car she had borrowed and stayed at an apartment that had been built into the school for GA officers and such to reside for a while. Eaco then called Vb and arranged for a briefing at the school about the attack. Meanwhile Michael and Joy had gotten to their apartment¡¯s door, but it was locked and nobody was answering when they knocked. Renja and Michael were actually in Jeso¡¯s apartment right next to them, but they couldn¡¯t do anything from there, but to watch Michael and Joy through the security camera. Michael sat down and started talking to Joy. Their conversations were very one sided because Joy could only answer with nods, he wasn¡¯t mute like 55, but just hadn¡¯t learned to talk yet. Mike had evaluated that Joy would speak his first words 2 or 3 months later. Even if Joy was mentally a toddler his brains were still that of a teen¡¯s and would learn much faster. In reality it was even faster than Mike predicted because while having a conversation with Michael, Joy spoke his first word calling Michael by his name. He had quite a bit of speech impediment, but it was still clear enough. Michael went quiet as soon as he heard it, but soon after his smile widened and he got very excited. He thought that Joy could never speak, especially since he had met 55 who was an adult, but could not speak. He immediately started saying words for Joy to repeat. Janko, Renja and Jeso listened through the camera¡¯s microphone as Michael taught words to Joy for 30 minutes. That was when Jeso got fed up and told Renja and Janko to jump out his window and pretend to come back home. They did so and when Michael saw them coming up the stairs he got so excited that he couldn¡¯t even explain it properly. He stumbled all over his own words, but did get some type of sentence out and then told Joy to prove that he had learned how to speak. Janko and Renja nodded while they had the world¡¯s fakest smile on their face. They let Michael and Joy in and sat on the couch with them while Michael kept teaching Joy words. They had completely forgotten that they were supposed to ask where they had been the entire day. 2 hours passed and Michael and Joy were equally excited, just in those 2 hours Joy¡¯s speech impediment had completely vanished and it had turned from Michael teaching Joy words to them reading a book aloud together. Their antics had put their parents to sleep. When Renja woke up the next morning she saw the boys wide awake reading a book. She asked the boys if they had even slept and as she expected got a no as an answer. ¡°How¡¯re you two going to stay awake in school?¡± She asked them, but got no answer. She then remembered yesterday and asked them what they did after school. Michael told her that they were at the park with a few of their classmates. Renja believed him and didn¡¯t think it would be a problem, but Jeso who had stayed up the entire night was listening in and immediately informed Vince about it. Vince responded to him almost instantly and his message said, ¡°Not a problem.¡± While Renja was taking Michael and Joy to school that day, Michael asked whether they could get cellphones. Renja responded immediately, ¡°Of course you can.¡± and soon dropped the boys off. On their way to their classroom Joy saw Eaco looking at them in the window, he pointed it out to Michael and they both waved at her. Eaco got even more committed to preventing them from going down the wrong path. As soon as their class started, their teacher brought in a girl and told everyone she would be a new student joining their class. Everybody except Michael and Joy were surprised that a new student was joining just a day after Michael and Joy did. The girl had bright red hair and looked to be in her mid teens. She was wearing a plain white t- shirt and long shorts, she also had a necklace with a diamond pendant around her neck and she introduced herself to the class as Sara. From the moment she stepped into the classroom to when she finally sat down she only looked at Joy. Greetings of Eaco was anxiously waiting in a classroom by herself, she felt guilty knowing that Vb almost died because she left. Originally she didn¡¯t want the meeting to be had, but was forced to because Kire and Iro were the most wanted men alive and all information had to be shared between everyone. Vb along with Milo, the young boy who came to Romania the day before, were the first ones to arrive and Eaco awkwardly greeted them. Vb responded to her greeting by praying. ¡°Please, tell me good news.¡± Eaco gently nodded at him and told. ¡°I¡¯ll tell you when everyone is here.¡± Vb nodded and sat down. The room slowly filled with the 15 other people that eventually arrived. Eaco started the meeting by getting everybody¡¯s attention, she then gave the floor to Vb who explained his entire fight with Kire in detail. As soon as Vb sat back down, someone immediately questioned Eaco. ¡°Wasn¡¯t Riley supposed to be there as well?¡± He asked. Everybody stared at Eaco, she knew this question would come up and had prepared in advance. A TV behind her turned on and it showed Michael¡¯s results. ¡°I came for this.¡± ¡°Well was it worth it?¡± One of them asked. ¡°Honestly, I think it was.¡± Eaco answered. ¡°He and his brother are unbelievable. Also we know that Kire might have surpassed the threshold.¡± The pondering faces of everyone turned into shocked ones. ¡°Really?¡± One of the men asked. ¡°Vb said he was stronger than 2 years ago, and nobody really knows what¡¯s beyond that threshold other than Laray.¡± Eaco said. A young man next to her turned to look at the very old man who was sleeping on a couch in the corner, although wasn¡¯t actually sleeping, just pretending. ¡°If he had, he¡¯d have killed Vb.¡± He commented. His voice barely matched his appearance. ¡°What do you mean?¡± Eaco asked. ¡°Literally what I said. Kire doesn¡¯t seem like he wouldn¡¯t have taken the opportunity to not kill Vb.¡± The old man answered. Someone in the room asked. ¡°Who the hell is he?¡± As he was looking at the old man. The old man answered himself. ¡°Samuel Laray.¡± Everybody went quiet, giving Samuel the floor to talk. ¡°I couldn¡¯t find Kire in Romania yesterday.¡± ¡°That¡¯s where you left?¡± Vb asked. ¡°No, I tried to look for them before Milo got there.¡± Samuel answered. ¡°I came here after we dug you up.¡± Eaco looked shocked. ¡°You were here?¡± She asked. ¡°Yes.¡± Samuel said ¡°I was watching you give a ride to Michael and Joy.¡± Vb gave Samuel a pretty weird look. ¡°That¡¯s pretty weird.¡± ¡°She was the one stalking children, at least I was stalking an adult.¡± Samuel argued. After she finished nobody asked questions, they all made their own verdict, but trusted Eaco¡¯s judgment. Samuel was the first to leave and most followed after him. Vb, Milo, The young man who noticed Samuel earlier named Tatadoro and a young woman named Monika were the only four who stayed for a while with Eaco after everyone else left, but after less than an hour they left as well. Meanwhile the special class was eating lunch together in the cafeteria, Sara just got there and sat down with everyone. Another girl who was the second oldest person in their class asked Sara where she had been the entire morning ¡°I was called in by the principal.¡± She answered. ¡°Why?¡± Jenn ¡°It¡¯s a secret, I¡¯m not supposed to tell anyone.¡± Sara answered. Two other boys from their class changed the subject and asked Sara where she lived. She told them how she had to move there from Cyprus because of the possibility that she could be recruited to the Global Authority. Sara started frantically looking around and when she was asked what was wrong, she asked where Joy was. Michael thought that Joy was sitting with them, but when he looked around he realized that he was gone. Everybody was sure that he was eating with them, but nobody noticed when he left. Nobody noticed that Sara closed her eyes and by snapping her fingers used very enhanced echolocation to sense everything within 5 kilometers. She located Joy 4 kilometers away from them and immediately went after him. Michael yelled after her asking where she was going, but she didn¡¯t listen. He tried to run after her, but couldn¡¯t see her anywhere after she left the building. Meanwhile Joy had just arrived at their apartment building, he climbed the stairs all the way to the 5th floor and entered their apartment where he sat on the couch. As usual Janko and Renja weren¡¯t home, but in Jeso¡¯s apartment. None of them were watching the monitors so it took long enough for them to realize Joy was even there that Sara had caught up to him and was now watching through their window from the roof of the neighboring building. Janko finally noticed the cameras and saw someone was inside their apartment. His first instinct was to go and kick that person out, but after he got a closer look he realized that it was Joy. He yelled for Renja and Jeso, but it alerted Joy as he had shifted his attention to where Janko was. Renja was confused and asked why Janko yelled, but quickly noticed Joy in the monitors. Upon realizing where Joy was looking she looked back through the wall at where Joy was supposed to be. Sara watched as Joy got up from the couch and walked out of Sara¡¯s view. Sara tried to use echolocation again to see what was happening behind those walls, but just seconds later the whole building burst into flames. Sara got startled by it, but immediately leaped through the window to Joy¡¯s apartment. She first noticed Joy who had collapsed on the floor, she picked him up and then went to the apartment next door. She thought that it was them behind the fire especially when she found nobody in the apartment. She used her echolocation again to see where they had gone, but noticed that not only were the three of them nowhere nearby, but neither were any of the other people who lived in the building. Sara was astonished, she snapped her fingers making all the flames in that room disappear then for a while she looked around the room for any remains, but after finding nothing she seemed a bit horrified. Sara sat on the burnt couch for a while to think, but then she picked Joy back up and vanished with him. Not much later firefighters arrived alongside Eaco who had to come after realizing that Joy wasn¡¯t in school. After all the flames were extinguished she was the first one to go inside. Apartment by apartment they moved up floor by floor, but found nobody. She hurried back to the school where she interrupted Special class 5 by storming in during a lesson and calling Michael. Michael rose up, but so did the rest of his class as everyone recognized Eaco. Their teacher told everyone to sit back down and called Michael, he walked to the front of the class where Eaco told him to follow her. She took Michael to her room and asked where Joy was. When was the last time you saw him?¡± Eaco questioned. ¡°I¡¯m pretty sure he was at lunch with us.¡± Michael Eaco was astonished so she decided to reveal the fate of Michael¡¯s parents to him. Michael believed her immediately and went into shock. She prepared for Michael to explode as it was common for untrained children to have violent grieving, but Michael¡¯s reaction surprised her as it was nothing like she expected, he simply got very sad and fell asleep on the couch. Eaco didn¡¯t give Michael time to grieve, she spent the entire night arranging for Michael to be transported to and trained in America instead of Serbia, she thought that Kire was behind the fire and that it was an attempt on Michael¡¯s life. Michael spent the night locked up in Eaco¡¯s room and as the morning came a man was already waiting for Michael outside. Eaco hadn¡¯t told Michael anything she only introduced to the muscular man by the name of Isaac Riba. Isaac had been in the meeting the day before and he had just gotten back to America when Eaco asked him to work as a mentor for Michael. He greeted Michael very formally in Serbian. They didn¡¯t get to have a conversation there as Eaco kept rushing them. Isaac took Michael to the roof where some sort of vehicle was waiting for them. When they got in it started floating like a helicopter. It then quickly accelerated to insane speed which knocked Michael out. He slept the entire 1 and a half hour flight to Chicago and was just waking up when Isaac was landing. He landed the vehicle on the roof of a parking garage, got out and told Michael to follow him. ¡°We¡¯re looking for a kid like you. He should have something that puts him apart from everybody else so try to guess who he is.¡± Isaac said as they entered a mall. While walking around Isaac turned many peoples heads as he was getting recognized. A crowd of people was forming behind them and Isaac was getting amused by Michael who kept looking behind at them. After a while Isaac asked Michael a question. ¡°Do you think you¡¯ve seen the person we¡¯re looking for?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know what I¡¯m looking for.¡± Michael responded. ¡°We don¡¯t look for people, we feel for them. You won¡¯t see it, but you¡¯ll feel when something is different.¡± Isaac lectured. ¡°The kid we¡¯re looking for is in the crowd behind us.¡± Michael turned around and tried to feel out this person they were after, but to no avail. ¡°I can¡¯t feel anything.¡± Michael exasperated. ¡°You¡¯ll learn it soon.¡± Isaac assured. He then walked towards the crowd, everybody got out of his way as he walked through crowd. Isaac saw the boy he was looking for and as he walked past him he subtly stared him in the eyes. Michael had gone around the people and waited on the other side. ¡°What did you do to him?¡± Michael asked. ¡°I bugged him, now we go eat lunch while we wait for him to go home.¡± Isaac said. He took Michael to a diner and ordered them food after which he walked into a private room past the counter. ¡°What is this?¡± Michael asked. ¡°Some restaurants build a private room. It costs more, but those people wouldn¡¯t have let us eat in peace.¡± Isaac explained. ¡°Where were you in school before you came to Belgrad? I thought they taught English everywhere in Europe nowadays.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t remember, mom and dad never told me.¡± Michael answered. Isaac looked confused. ¡°You don¡¯t remember?¡± He confirmed. ¡°Yeah, mom and dad said we almost drowned and that¡¯s why we can¡¯t remember anything from before.¡± Michael explained. ¡°Huh, that¡¯s curious.¡± Isaac took a break long enough that their food arrived. ¡°I was going to ask about your life, but I guess there¡¯s not much to ask.¡± Isaac had ordered them both a pizza. ¡°Do you at least remember what a pizza is?¡± He asked. Michael shook his head in response. ¡°Well at least you get to experience it again for the first time.¡± Since there''s not much you can tell me, feel free to ask me anything.¡± ¡°Why did so many people follow us?¡± Michael asked. Isaac grinned. ¡°I¡¯m actually pretty famous around the world.¡± He boasted. ¡°Why?¡± Michael. ¡°I work for the most important organization in the world called The Global Authority, we¡¯re basically just all the police forces from around the world combined. Since people like you and me, people who are strong and could be dangerous appear all around the world The Global Authority was formed if one does appear the strongest people could always be there no matter where it is.¡± Isaac effused. ¡°So why are you so famous?¡± Michael. ¡°Well I¡¯m ranked high in both strength and command. That tends to garner attention.¡± Isaac answered. ¡°How high?¡± Michael ¡°Six in strength and five in Command. The woman who you were with is actually first in command, her parents were the ones who formed The GA.¡± Isaac The initial awkwardness that they had started to vanish as Michael grew more comfortable with Isaac, he was very excited when meeting new people ever since he went to school, but the way that he was forced to leave with Isaac damaged even Michael¡¯s initial opinion on him. Michael asked Isaac why they were after that person in the first place. ¡°Like you he¡¯s a lot stronger than a regular person, but unlike you he used his strength to break the law.¡± Isaac explained. ¡°I¡¯m going to go give him a talk. Michael ran out of questions so they stayed quiet for the rest of their meal. It took Michael much longer to finish the pizza, but after he did Isaac asked him what he thought about it. ¡°It tasted familiar.¡± He answered. Isaac got an idea of what to do while they waited. They walked out of the diner past the few people that were still outside waiting, as they were walking out of the mall another crowd formed and most of them followed them all the way to the parking garage where Isaac had left the vehicle. When they got there Isaac told Michael to sit in the driver''s seat while he sat in the passenger seat. Michael didn¡¯t know what he was looking at, there were only 2 joysticks in front of him. ¡°You know how to heat up your hands?¡± Isaac asked. ¡°Grab those joysticks and heat up your hands, then press the thumb button on both of them.¡± Michael did so and the vehicle started slowly rising up. Isaac pressed down one of the only two buttons that were in the control panel between them, he then told Michael to heat his hands even more and push both the joysticks slightly forward, as he did it the vehicle started to slowly go forward. Michael looked really excited, he almost immediately understood how the controls worked and after a minute of slow movements later Isaac told him to heat his hands more. Michael did and the vehicle accelerated, he flew in circles around the town for almost an hour when Isaac told him to stop. He pulled a lever from below Michael¡¯s seat which unlocked his seat on a semi circular track that it was on, it moved to the 90 degree point of the semi circle. Isaac then moved his seat to the driver¡¯s place and told Michael to move his seat to where he was. He then checked if Michael was wearing the seatbelt and that the seat was locked. He did a quick 180 and the vehicle took off in a flash. It took them only 5 seconds to take them to their destination. The landing was much more graceful than the departure as Isaac slowly landed on a driveway he saw the boy from earlier looking at them through the window, he hid when he saw Isaac and Michael getting out of the vehicle and at first didn¡¯t come to open the door, but Isaac was able to persuade him into doing it. ¡°I¡¯ll keep it brief. You are now on a list.¡± Isaac had walked into the living room and sat on the couch. ¡°The list has every person that has misused their Energy on it. The global authority is so big that we¡¯ll always be watching, you won¡¯t know when. I hope you make the correct choices from now on. Maybe in the future we can work together.¡± The boy was understandably shocked. Isaac took a long look at him. ¡°You should apply for the school here.¡± He said, trying to ease him. ¡°That¡¯s where you¡¯ll be able to use the Energy to its fullest. I wouldn¡¯t mind if you trained enough to fight me.¡± The boy had stayed quite so far, but Isaac¡¯s words interested him. ¡°Why would you want that, aren¡¯t you supposed to stop criminals?¡± ¡°You fighting me wouldn''t make you a criminal, it¡¯s pretty common for us to fight for training, but yes it¡¯s our job to stop criminals. There just aren¡¯t any left.¡± Isaac Isaac laughed at the boy as he was even more shocked when hearing Isaac say that. Isaac walked past him and told Michael in Serbian that they were leaving, but right as Isaac was shutting the door behind him the boy intercepted and asked him one final question. ¡°Why don¡¯t you become a criminal?¡± ¡°I thought, I made it pretty clear why.¡± Isaac scoffed and slammed the door on him. The boy watched through the window as they took off. While they were flying Michael asked Isaac what he said to him. ¡°I told him some truths and some lies.¡± He answered. Michael wasn¡¯t content with that as an answer. ¡°What was the purpose?¡± He asked him. Isaac slowed down the vehicle by a lot so that he¡¯d have more time to talk. He then went on a long ramble and explained mostly everything he had told to the boy earlier, he also explained that it¡¯s part of his job to discourage people from trying to cause havoc using their strength. While Isaac was talking he had landed near a communal home, a handsome man was waiting outside and after Isaac had finished his ramble he told Michael to follow him. This man introduced himself to Michael in English, but because Michael didn¡¯t understand, Isaac told the man that Michael didn¡¯t speak English yet. He then told Michael that the man will take him to a place where he can live for a while and that he¡¯ll come pick him up the next morning. Michael watched as Isaac turned the vehicle around and flew away. He then felt the man tapping on his shoulder and gesturing for Michael to follow him. They went through the lounge of the communal home where Michael got friendly greetings from the others that already lived there. One of the girls there tried to talk to Michael, but the man escorting him told her that Michael didn¡¯t speak English. They finally got to the room that was for him, it was at the end of a long hallway, the man used a translator to tell Michael that if he needed anything he could come and ask anyone downstairs, he then left Michael by himself. He first sat on the bed, looked around the empty room and thought about his last few days. He then remembered that his parents and Joy were dead and got really sad again, he laid down and fell asleep almost immediately. Red Girl Kate and Brown had come to Serbia and were staying at Brown¡¯s friend Bobby¡¯s house for a while. Kate was meditating in the living room by herself while Brown and Bobby were out. They had been out for over an hour and Kate had waited the entire time for Brown to call. She didn¡¯t get a call, but a message with coordinates from Brown. They were supposed to be over 50 kilometers away, but it took her just 10 minutes to arrive. Brown and Bobby were waiting in a car, neither of them were expecting Kate to get there so fast that¡¯s why both got startled when she knocked on the car''s window. She didn¡¯t wait for them and immediately walked into the building that they were parked next to. Brown was right behind her, but when they entered the stairwell Kate skipped all 10 floors by jumping in the middle right to the highest one. Brown didn¡¯t want to try following her and instead went to their car where Bobby was still waiting. Not long after Vince flew through the top floor¡¯s window onto the pavement, he got up, but Kate had already jumped next to him. She punched him in the stomach, launching him into the nearest building. Kate punched him around the block for some time, while Brown and Bobby waited by the car. Bobby got a message on his phone and told Brown that the GA was coming. He blew into a whistle to alert Kate. Vince flew over the building and landed close to them unconscious. Brown and Bobby wasted no time and carried him into the car, they saw Kate come around the opposing building carrying a road sign, she used it to write ¡°Call Vince Matays.¡± On the ground and then got in the car. Kate had taken Vince¡¯s phone from him while she tossed him around the town. It was locked. She tried guessing Vince¡¯s password, but she guessed wrong too many times. She had to wait until they were back at Bobby¡¯s place where she strapped Vince onto a chair in Bobby¡¯s basement. The room he was locked in was filled with fumes so when Kate was in there she had to wear a gas mask. ¡°There are videos of it online already!¡± Bobby yelled. Kate went upstairs and into the living room. ¡°Am I recognizable in them?¡± She asked as she sat next to him. Bobby showed her a video of Vince getting dragged in the car and her writing on the pavement. ¡°Barely.¡± Said Bobby. ¡°Do you feel better now after kicking the shit out of Vince?¡± ¡°Not really. Although it was pretty fun at the moment, I¡¯m not done with him yet.¡± Kate ¡°So what are you going to do to him?¡± Bobby asked. ¡°I want to make Kire kill him.¡± Kate declared. At that moment Vince¡¯s phone received a call. Kate¡¯s eyes lit up when she saw that the caller was Kire. ¡°Hi Kire!¡± She answered in a very joyous tone. ¡°Hello.¡± Kire answered. ¡°I was curious as to what you were planning on using the boy for?¡± Kate asked. ¡°Like you, Michael was VInce¡¯s project.¡± Kire answered. Kate was surprised that Kire knew who she was. ¡°You know who I am?¡± She asked. Kire chortled. ¡°I saw a video. I only know 1 person who might do that to Vince and that¡¯s you Kate.¡± ¡°Well ok. The boy was Vince¡¯s project, what''s yours?¡± Kate asked ¡°I¡¯ll tell you if you kill Vince and come to Cape Town.¡± Kire Kate sounded offended as she asked why she should kill Vince. ¡°I made a deal with him, If Michael hadn¡¯t killed you within a year I would kill both of them.¡± Kire ¡°What¡¯s in Cape Town?¡± Kate asked. ¡°Me.¡± Kire answered Kate was confused. She asked Kire why he thought she would even think about coming when he clearly wants to kill her. ¡°Why would I come there if you wanted me dead?¡± Kate asked again ¡°I don¡¯t want you dead. I let you live a normal life in Australia for three years while Vince was doing everything to find you.¡± Kire ¡°How did you know?¡± Kate ¡°I can do what most can¡¯t.¡± Kire Kate hung up on Kire and crushed the phone with her hand. Almost immediately someone knocked on the door, just as Bobby got up to go answer the door Kire and Iro walked into the living room. Kate and Bobby completely froze from fear as Kire sat down on the couch beside them and requested Kate¡¯s help in killing Milo and Monika Petrevska. ¡°Not today and probably even this month, but I want you to be ready when I call you.¡± He added. [December 20th 2010] It was snowing and Michael was enjoying it by himself, he was on a walk to a nearby convenience store. The clerk greeted Michael by his name, which the other two customers heard. They secretly took pictures of Michael which he noticed, but paid no attention to. He headed back to the communal home and into his room. Soon someone knocked on the door and told him that Isaac was waiting outside for him. Michael hurried outside and hopped in the vehicle, he was a bit surprised how quickly Isaac took off, but thought it was just him chasing thrill. Isaac was the one that opened his mouth, he told Michael that multiple prison breaks had happened all around the globe and they were going to Mexico to guard the GA prison that was in there. He also told Michael to prepare for a fight making him a bit anxious. Michael had only fought against Isaac for training, but he had been a witness to a larger fight that happened a couple weeks ago between Isaac and someone else and felt that if he had been in the middle of that he¡¯d be gone in seconds. Isaac noticed that Michael was a bit tense and assured him that he had nothing to worry about. When they got there Isaac quickly commanded all the guards to the roof for lookout. The prison was completely isolated from anything else so everybody was able to see kilometers away from the roof. Michael barely paid attention to anything other than the dusk, but he was the first one to notice two silhouettes walking towards the prison. Someone pulled out binoculars to get a better look at them and started describing them. As the two got closer everyone else got a better look as well, including Michael who immediately recognized the other one as Joy. When he mentioned it to Isaac, everyone eased up a bit, but the two of them suddenly appeared behind Isaac. The girl said something in a language that nobody was able to understand and pointed at Isaac, Michael and 2 others. Isaac watched as everybody else burned to ashes in seconds. He turned around and tried to hit the girl, but she effortlessly ducked. In return she kicked Isaac in the back of his head which caused him to fly off the roof. The girl said something again, but only Joy understood her as he jumped after Isaac, she then took out her phone and it started floating as she seemingly placed it in the air. As Isaac landed on the ground he had a big grin on his face, but as he was looking at the roof, he noticed that Joy was the one who had gone after him and was a bit disappointed at first. Joy rushed at Isaac completely overwhelming him with speed, he was able to parry Joy¡¯s first strike, but was unable to do anything against the second kick that followed right after. Right as he got up a plasma ball was flying towards him. He dodged it, but saw Joy in the distance with his arms stretched out and immediately realized he was guiding it. Isaac tried to run towards Joy, but got blasted with another one which he just barely dodged. He felt the heat as the incredibly hot ball of plasma flew past him. As both the balls were flying back towards him, he decided to take a gamble, he rubbed his hands towards Joy and a lightning shot out of them. Isaac started rubbing his hands together again, but before he was able to shoot the lightning Joy closed the distance between them in 100th of a second, he hit Isaac in the face launching him backwards and immediately followed it up with a lightning bolt and hundreds of plasma balls. They burned all of Isaac¡¯s clothes off and created burns all over his body, it would¡¯ve killed him if it weren¡¯t for the girl stopping Joy. Isaac woke up 2 days later in a hospital bed. He felt excruciating pain all over his body and was just barely able to sit up and press the button hanging from the ceiling. Soon two men walked in the room and asked how he was feeling, but Isaac was more interested in knowing what happened after his defeat. ¡°Everybody lost.¡± One of them said. Isaac was shocked and confused at the same time. ¡°What does that mean?¡± ¡°It means exactly what it means. You, Tatadoro, Eaco. Everyone lost to him.¡± They answered. ¡°Who?¡± Isaac ¡°Joy Aukat?¡± They said in unison. Isaac glanced at himself in the mirror again, he then saw the clock in the reflection. ¡°How long was I out?¡± He asked. ¡°3 days.¡± The men answered. When Isaac asked what had happened during that time one of the men asked him to sit in the wheelchair that was in the room. They took him to the roof where he saw thousands of people surrounding the building. ¡°The world has gone to shit, yesterday a video with all your fights was sent to news stations all round the world and posted online. Every criminal that was in prison got freed and police all around the world were getting killed so most came here.¡± They explained. They heard a young boy¡¯s voice behind telling them to leave. Isaac recognized the voice as Milo. ¡°You didn¡¯t fight?¡± He asked. ¡°I did. And I lost like everyone else.¡± Milo answered. ¡°All it took was 3 days and 2 people for Yugoslavia to happen on a global scale.¡± Isaac exasperated. Milo grabbed Isaac¡¯s wheelchair and took it back inside; he told Isaac that they were going to talk with Michael. Milo took Isaac to another hospital room where Michael was being held. The room had been turned into a holding cell and Michael was laying on the bed facing the wall. Milo gently knocked on the bars and said that Isaac was here. Michael turned around and looked horrified when he saw Isaac, but it didn¡¯t last long as he quickly started speaking. ¡°Joy was with Sara.¡± Michael said. ¡°She came to our class the same day Mom and Dad died¡­.¡± Isaac interrupted Michael to ask him if he was sure. Michael nodded as an answer, but clarified that Sara had the same necklace. Isaac told Milo to go get someone else here. While Milo was gone Isaac got more personal with Michael when he asked if he was sure that Joy was actually his brother. Michael was confused, he asked Isaac how it would even be possible for him to not be his brother. ¡°Well you look nothing alike. And in Mexico he didn¡¯t even notice you.¡± Isaac answered. Michael looked very perplexed, instead of answering Isaac he started thinking whether it could be true. Isaac wasn¡¯t trying to upset Michael, he wanted to see how Michael would react. Soon Milo came back with someone else. Isaac gave the man Milo had brought in an order to go to Serbia and find out everything about Sara. Isaac expected the man to immediately leave, but instead he told Isaac that he was scared to go outside. When Isaac asked him why, he told that everywhere except here in Germany members of the GA were getting lynched. Isaac gave him the permission to take as many people with him as possible as long as he got all the information on Sara. The man still looked scared, but complied. Isaac told Milo that he was done talking to Michael. Milo took him back to his room, but on their way Isaac said that he didn¡¯t think Michael knew about Joy and Sara. Two days had passed, Isaac had spent all that time alone in his room, he trusted others to not need him as he himself didn¡¯t want to do much. He had survived the days with painkillers and spent the time rewatching everybody¡¯s fights against Joy. Now he finally felt better, walking was still hard so he decided to still use the wheelchair. Isaac pressed the button again and was soon greeted by Vb and Tatadoro at the door. ¡°How do you feel?¡± Vb asked. ¡°Oh I feel great.¡± Isaac joked. ¡°Fucking look at me.¡± ¡°Eaco wanted to have a meeting when you felt better.¡± Vb told. They went into the cafeteria, the tables and chairs had been rearranged to make it look like a conference room, many were already sitting there and most looked horrible, but none quite as bad as Isaac. Everyone stared at his fully bandaged body in horror. ¡°What¡¯s behind those bandages?¡± Someone asked. Isaac tore off a part of the bandanas of his arm and showed everyone his burnt off skin. Everybody was shocked and commended him for putting up with the pain. Isaac started the discussion by asking whether anything was found out about who Sara was. Nobody had any idea of who he was talking about except Milo, he told Isaac that the people still hadn¡¯t returned. Someone asked who they were talking about, so Milo explained that Michael had said the girl Joy was with was most likely Sara, a student in their class who vanished at the same time as Joy. Someone then remembered their last major meeting and asked Eaco whether this was the person they talked about before. ¡°No, that¡¯s Michael. Joy is his brother.¡± Eaco answered. ¡°Wait this guy was his brother? How did he fly under your radar then?¡± Some yelled. Eaco was just about to defend herself, but Vb did it before her, he reminded everyone that Joy in fact didn¡¯t fly under her radar, but that both Michael and Joy were specifically mentioned in the meeting they had before. Then Isaac chimed in. ¡°Joy was thought to be dead until now and I worked with Michael for almost 2 months.¡± ¡°Alright so someone capable of destroying entire continents wasn¡¯t immediately brought here, but instead left in a school? How were Tatadoro and Monika considered special cases at 11 years old, but he wasn¡¯t when he¡¯s even older.¡± Someone questioned. ¡°He wasn¡¯t that strong when I met him.¡± Eaco defended herself. The man who was pressing Eaco didn¡¯t believe her. ¡°How is that possible?¡± ¡°It has to have something to do with the girl. Perhaps she burned the building, kidnapped and brainwashed Joy.¡± Eaco said. Then Tatadoro chimed in. ¡°Isaac, you¡¯ve talked to his brother quite a bit right? Did he say anything about him?¡± ¡°He said that they both almost drowned and that¡¯s how they lost their memory.¡± He answered. Eaco thought the conversation was a dead end so she changed the subject. ¡°I don¡¯t think knowing about the past is going to help right now, what I want to do is plan on what we are doing going forward. Expanding the safezone is the obvious answer, I want every single one of our members as well as people who can help even a bit to come here and clear the city from criminals. Of course I also want everyone here to become stronger as well, and if anyone gets an idea on what to do to the devil¡¯s quartet, I¡¯m all ears.¡± Everyone agreed with Eaco, but nobody understood what she meant by the devil¡¯s quartet. ¡°Kire, Iro, Joy and the girl. I believe their motives align so it¡¯s best to expect they¡¯ll be working together.¡± She explained and then ended the meeting. Milo was the first one to leave, but he was closely followed by Tatadoro, they immediately started following Eaco¡¯s orders as the first thing they did was head out. There were thousands of people sitting right outside the fence yelling at the guards who were keeping them out. When they saw Milo and Tatadoro they started yelling even more. The two of them paid no mind to it as they jumped right over them to the roof of the nearest building. ¡°I don¡¯t think Joy had all that Energy. I think he just recovered between each fight.¡± Milo started. Tatadoro asked him to elaborate further while he picked pebbles off the roof. ¡°I was rewatching the fights and his speed, and strength looked to stay the same during all of it.¡± He explained. Tatadoro gave some of the pebbles he picked up to Milo. He agreed with Milo, but told him that he felt it while he fought Joy. They both jumped from roof to roof until they got to what they thought to be the edge of the safezone. Walls had been constructed to keep people from entering without knowledge and the gates were being guarded by people. They jumped about a hundred meters away from the wall and took out the pebbles that Tatadoro had collected. One by one they threw them another hundred meters away around themselves. Then they sat down to meditate and the ground started rising creating a semicircular expansion to the already existing wall. While the walls were still rising Milo came to a realization and immediately told Tatadoro. ¡°I know where Samuel Laray is, he¡¯s helping Joy Aukat?. He is the girl that was with him.¡± Tatadoro was shocked to hear it. ¡°What?¡± The wall on his side stopped growing as he turned to face Milo. ¡°Why do you think that?¡± ¡°When dad lost to Kire, Samuel was there as well and he was mimicking me, but had the same bright red hair that the girl Joy Aukat? is with, had.¡± ¡°You can¡¯t be serious.¡± Tatadoro took out his phone and tried to call Eaco, but she wouldn¡¯t answer. ¡°Fuck. Go tell that to dad or Eaco.¡± Milo got up and started hopping back to the hospital. He was a bit scared because Tatadoro didn¡¯t seem happy at all; he looked back briefly and Tatadoro had already vanished. When Milo got back to the hospital he ran around the hallways looking for Vb or Eaco, but found neither of them. The only person he found was Isaac who was still at the cafeteria by himself. Milo asked whether he knew where either of them were. Isaac answered no and asked why he was looking for them. Milo told him the same thing he told Tatadoro. ¡°That¡¯s great to hear.¡± Isaac said in a sarcastic tone. ¡°Eaco and Vb went to expand the walls as well.¡± Milo kept looking around, but the only people he found were people like Isaac who weren¡¯t yet in the state of moving around excessively. While looking around he stumbled upon Michael¡¯s room. Since no one was around he decided to go and have another talk with him. Michael was happy to see him and immediately asked Milo to tell about his family. Petrevska June 3rd 1990 The sun was at its highest point and a young lady named Sofia was running around a manor trying to search for someone. She ran into a wheat field and found a 5-year old boy named Taro reading a book behind a tall rock. A sense of relief rushed over her, she leaned against the rock and asked him what he was reading. "A history book I found in the library." Taro answered. Sofia realized that Taro was sitting in the dirt and scolded him for ruining his clothes. ¡°Your father will get mad if you ruin such nice clothes.¡± She lifted Taro up and tried to wipe the dirt off his pants. ¡°Your father wants you back at the house, he has guests over.¡± "I didn''t get to read enough." Taro complained. Sofia told him that he could continue reading later, but should now go back to the house to not upset his father. Taro complied and followed her through the wheat field and into the mansion where Taro¡¯s father Sarim was talking with a couple wearing dirty clothes. He hid behind Sofia, but saw a girl around his age sleeping on a bench by herself. Sarim saw Taro and Sofia and immediately introduced Taro to the couple. ¡°This is my son Taro.¡± They didn¡¯t even look at Taro. Sarim woke the girl up and introduced Taro to her. ¡°This is my son Taro. Taro meet Monika, she will live with us from now on.¡± Taro stayed quiet and looked into her eyes, but Monika grabbed his shoulders and started shaking him. ¡°Is he a statue?" She yelled and then grabbed Taro¡¯s wrist and ran up the first flight of stairs. Sarim told Sofia to go after them and then returned to the couple. ¡°Let''s go into my office and get you your money.¡± Sarim led the way into a vintage styled office where two large guys were waiting. The moment Sarim closed the door the two men took out plastic bags and put them over the heads of both the man and the woman while strangling them. Sarim watched as after just a minute they stopped breathing and the men dragged them into an elevator that was in the office, which they took to the first floor. They stepped out of the elevator into a well lit white hallway with doors on both sides. Dragging the bodies behind them they ended up in a room with a cremation furnace. Both the bodies were tossed in it at the same time and while the bodies were burning the men chatted. After the bodies had turned to just bones and dust they put the bones into a crusher turning them into dust as well and at the end all of it was flushed down the drain. Meanwhile Monika was running around the mansion still dragging Taro by his hand until he fell over. Sofia saw him and ran to help the crying Taro sit up. Monika felt so bad that she got on her knees and hugged Taro while crying. Taro got surprised and stopped crying, but hugged her back. Four years passed, Taro and Monika would mostly be kept in the house, but occasionally some of the servants would take them out to town while they ran errands. One day Taro woke up without Monika sleeping with her, he thought they were playing hide and seek so he ran through the entire mansion looking for him, but couldn¡¯t find her anywhere, this continued for several days until he finally asked one of the servants where Monika was, every single one of them acted like they¡¯d never heard of her. Everyday he would look for her, but almost never found her until nine months later when he heard faint screaming in the lobby. When he went to see what the screaming was he found nothing, but then heard it again from below. He laid on the floor to hear better and soon heard clear as day Monika screaming. Taro started hitting the floor, which at first had no effect, but as he kept hearing Monika screaming and got more desperate, that¡¯s when his hand went right through the floor and he fell into the hallway below. The screaming was now much clearer and he ran into a room where it was coming from. In the room were dozens of men along with Sarim around a table where Monika was naked, bloody and screaming. One of them noticed Taro by the door and told Sarim. He didn¡¯t even look at Taro, but ordered the man to get rid of him. He started walking to Taro and just as he was about to grab him everyone in the room except Monika turned into a mist. Taro had his eyes closed as he was screaming, but soon realized that Monika wasn¡¯t screaming anymore. He opened his eyes and saw that there was nobody in there anymore. He walked closer and saw a baby between Monika¡¯s legs. The baby was completely silent, but so was Monika. Taro thought that Monika was dead as she looked like any of the dead animals they had found outside. As he started crying the blood in the room started bouncing around violently destroying everything except Taro himself, Monika, the table she was on and the baby that Taro was now holding. 3 hours later there were multiple police cars and a small group of cops waiting outside. They first heard it, but then saw a helicopter land in the wheat field. Out of it stepped Vb Ganz, He walked to the cops, greeted them and asked how many police had died. They told Vb that none of them had even tried going into the room as the servants warned that a few had already tried and got killed immediately. ¡°Wise.¡± Vb commended. ¡°Show me the way.¡± They walked into the lobby where a ladder had been placed to get down into the hallway. Blood could be seen from the other end of the hallway, as it had splashed onto the walls and even left slashing marks on it. Vb carefully walked closer, he started hearing rustling when he came to the door., but didn¡¯t walk right in. He tested whether walking in front of the doorway was even safe with his hand and when he had confirmed that it was he peeked inside and saw Taro sitting in front of the table holding a baby. Vb took out a coin from his pocket and threw it into the room where it got vaporized immediately. He nervously chuckled and after taking a deep breath, he walked hands first into the room. The blood flying around just barely grazed him, but he immediately jumped back. He took an even deeper breath and slowly walked towards Taro. As the blood was splattering onto his rock hard skin he finally touched Taro, the moment he did his skin turned soft and he got a few cuts from the blood before it splashed every like water. Vb sighed in relief and walked out the room to call in the police officers that had stayed back. He then walked back into the room and realized that all 3 of them were still alive. The police called an ambulance which took Taro, Monika and the baby to the nearest hospital. Before it arrived Vb took a peek into Sarim¡¯s office. Much later Taro woke up laying on a couch, he saw Vb sitting by the door with a baby in his hands and immediately jumped up trying to attack him. He was powerless to do so and immediately fell over. ¡°The girl is still alive.¡± Vb told him and saw that it calmed Taro down. ¡°Can you tell me what happened in that room?¡± Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. Taro kept trying to get back up. ¡°Please stay down, you¡¯ll break your body.¡± Vb cautioned. ¡°I¡¯m not trying to do anything bad to you, I just want to know what you did to your father.¡± Taro stopped trying and just laid on his back. ¡°I didn¡¯t do anything to my father.¡± Vb was slightly puzzled. ¡°Then what did you do?¡± He asked. Taro seemed really confused, he just couldn¡¯t remember what had happened, he told Vb everything that happened until he saw Monika on the table. Vb got up and helped Taro sit back on the couch. He gave the baby to Taro, left the room and made a call. He soon heard a girl¡¯s voice. ¡°Yeah?¡± ¡°Have you ever heard of Sarim Petrevska?¡± Vb asked. ¡°No.¡± She answered. ¡°Can you go ask your parents whether they have?¡± Vb requested. He could hear the phone being put down and some distant noises through it. A bit later he heard someone coming back, but it was an older man¡¯s voice now. ¡°What do you want to know about Sarim Petrevska?¡± Vb was surprised to hear someone else. ¡°Oh, I was just at his mansion and his research was quite intriguing, so I was curious whether you, Tote or Eaco had heard of him.¡± ¡°Yeah I¡¯ve heard of him, He¡¯s one of the largest donors to The Global Authority. Why were you going through his research?¡± The man asked. ¡°His son killed him.¡± Vb answered. ¡°Also did you ever bother to find out what he did for money?¡± ¡°He¡¯s a business owner.¡± The man answered. ¡°Yeah, well he ran a mob.¡± Vb chuckled. ¡°Maybe you shouldn¡¯t be in charge of the company.¡± Vb started laughing when he heard the call end. Soon he got a call from the same number. ¡°Eaco?¡± Vb asked while still chuckling. ¡°Yup.¡± The same girl from earlier had called him. ¡°What did you say to him?¡± ¡°If Vile said the truth then one of our biggest donors was a criminal.¡± Vb answered. ¡°That couldn¡¯t have gotten to him.¡± Eaco doubted. ¡°I might have offended him, but that''s not the point.¡± Vb stated. ¡°I just didn¡¯t want to tell your dad about the research.¡± Eaco laid down on the ground with the phone in her ear. ¡°Okay, tell me.¡± ¡°This Petrevska fellow was researching the power that some people like us have and his son is a blood relative to the first person who had it.¡± He explained. ¡°He himself isn¡¯t?¡± Eaco asked. ¡°No, the boy¡¯s mother was one as well. The real kick is that he adopted a girl 5 years ago, who also had the power and she just had a child with Petrevska¡¯s son.¡± Vb told. ¡°Wow.¡± Eaco was speechless and it took her a while to come up with something to say. ¡°What do you want to do to them? I¡¯d say Petrevska goes to jail, I can¡¯t say anything about the involvement of his children.¡± ¡°No, I¡¯ll adopt all three of them, they¡¯re still children and I also feel that I can steer them into the right direction considering the potential they have.¡± Vb assured. ¡°Hold on.¡± Eaco had already thought of so many things to ask. ¡°First, How old are they?¡± ¡°Well, I couldn¡¯t find any official papers, just a few statements that said that the boy had just turned ten and the girl was about ten and half.¡± Vb answered. Eaco was silent from disgust, but Vb could tell her discomfort. ¡°Better not think about it.¡± ¡°What about either of their parents?¡± Eaco asked. ¡°Well both the boy¡¯s parents were killed by him when he found out what they did to the girl. She is the tricky one because I didn¡¯t find any adoption papers.¡± Vb answered. ¡°Legality aside, can you even take care of 3 children?¡± Eaco asked. ¡°I¡¯ve been an adult since 15 just trust me on this, it¡¯ll work out.¡± Vb assured. ¡°The main reason I called was to tell you about the power, Petrevska had done a pretty detailed research on it. Everybody is able to learn and use it, but some people are just naturally better at it. I think you and those 3 children fall in that category, but to me the most important detail is how it¡¯s inherited. If one or both parents have that¡­ gene then the first child will always have it as well, but the children after that only have a 50% chance and that 50% chance carries on to grandchildren.¡± He paused his monologue to take a breath.¡± What I experienced today is nothing short of a miracle, but it got me thinking that maybe a similar miracle happened to Luna.¡± Luna was a trigger word for Eaco, she went into shock the moment she heard Vb say it and immediately ended the call. Vb couldn¡¯t tell for sure, but he had an idea of how Eaco was feeling and thought it was better to not call her again. He went back to see how the children were doing. Monika was still asleep and Taro had also fallen asleep with the baby still in his hands. Vb didn¡¯t ask the hospital staff for any permissions as he took all three of them into the helicopter. Vb strapped Monika and Taro in the back and gave them headphones while he held the baby in his own hands while flying. Few hours later Taro woke up again, this time he was in a regular bedroom sleeping beside Monika. He was shocked by his surroundings and then realized that the baby wasn¡¯t in his hands or even in the room and immediately ran out. Vb got a bit startled by Taro suddenly smashing the door open, but asked Taro to sit down with him. ¡°I never introduced myself to you, my name is Vb Ganz.¡± He started. ¡°You said earlier you didn¡¯t remember what happened, right?¡± Taro nodded. ¡°Would you like to know?¡± Vb asked. Taro nodded again. ¡°As I see it, your father was experimenting on you and the girl and this baby is the result of that experiment.¡± Vb explained. ¡°What I mean is that you are this child''s father. I don¡¯t want to be the one to tell you how it works, but you¡¯ll find out eventually. The most important part is what happened in that room after you came there. I can¡¯t say for sure since I wasn¡¯t there, but I believe that your anger took you over and killed everybody else in there.¡± Taro barely understood what Vb was telling him in the first place, but he hadn¡¯t been listening either. After hearing Vb say that he was the child¡¯s father he went into shock. Vb didn¡¯t notice this and kept explaining, but it was cut very short by Monika. She had woken up and was looking around. Taro came back to his senses the moment he saw her and immediately went to hug her. He kept apologizing to her and started crying, Monika wasn¡¯t sure what he was apologizing for, but it still made her cry as well. Vb watched as the two fell to their knees and stayed like that for a few minutes. While crying Monika told Taro of the last 9 months, she said that a few men came to her room every day to give her food, but otherwise she was completely alone and naked for the entire time. Then Vb chimed in. ¡°What about when you started giving birth?¡± Monika didn¡¯t know what to answer and Vb realized that she probably didn¡¯t even know that she had given birth. ¡°Do you remember the last day you were in that room?¡± ¡°I remember I peed a lot and then it started hurting down-there.¡± Monika answered. Vb felt a sense of relief hearing Monika say that, he explained to Monika that she was now a mother. Unlike Taro, she looked excited and asked to hold the baby. Present day Milo told Michael a similar story from Vb¡¯s point of view that he had told him. Michael didn¡¯t interrupt Milo at all; he let him finish, but the moment he did he asked a question. ¡°So Mr. Tatadoro is your dad, why is his name Tatadoro?¡± He asked first. ¡°I don¡¯t know, I¡¯ve just always called him that.¡± Milo answered. Michael then asked him when he was told who his actual parents were. ¡°I¡¯ve always known, so I guess when I was still a baby.¡± He answered. Michael was about to ask a question, but someone opened the door and peeked inside. ¡°Here you are!¡± Monika yelled. ¡°Isaac said that you were looking for me. Where¡¯s Tatadoro?¡± ¡°I was looking for dad or Eaco and Tatadoro¡¯s still outside.¡± Milo answered. Monika sat on one of the other chairs. ¡°Why¡¯re you looking for them?¡± ¡°Tatadoro told me to tell them who I think Sara is.¡± Milo ¡°Well?¡± Monika asked curiously. ¡°Samuel Laray.¡± Milo answered. Monika was surprised. ¡°Really? ¡°It makes sense. He¡¯s been gone for almost two months now and when I was helping dad in Romania he was there with similar red hair as Sara has.¡± Milo Monika stopped to think for a while, but Michael asked who Samuel Laray was. ¡°You don¡¯t know?¡± Monika asked. ¡°He¡¯s lost his memory, maybe he did before that.¡± Milo explained to Monika. ¡°Samuel Laray is the strongest person on earth.¡± Michael was confused. ¡°I thought Mr. Tatadoro was.¡± ¡°Mister.¡± Monika chuckled. ¡°Tatadoro is the strongest person in the GA because Samuel Laray has never worked at the GA.¡± ¡°So that person was Sara?¡± Michael asked. ¡°Why was she in our class?¡± ¡°Because of Joy.¡± Monika answered. ¡°She knew about Joy before any of us.¡± Hearing Joy mentioned clearly upset Michael, he asked whether Joy was okay and then went to sleep. Monika and Milo left Michael alone, but on their way out Monika apologized to him for bringing Joy up. She didn¡¯t ask Milo why he was talking with Michael because she knew. Milo never had any friends his own age because he worked at the GA. She also apologized to him and tried to cheer him up by telling that she believed Michael was unaware of Joy and Sara. Freedom to Act [December 24th 2010] It was Christmas Eve, but only two people were celebrating. Sara and Joy gave a Christmas present to everyone on the planet in the form of a video which they posted online named ¡°My freedom to act.¡± that blew up immediately from people sharing it around. 30 minutes after it was posted the GA would see it, a meeting was immediately held where they all watched it together. The video opened with the last moments of Joy¡¯s every fight simultaneously on the screen and then slowly faded to Joy in a t-shirt and his hair tied up. He was basking in the sun by a rooftop pool. The city in which he was could very clearly be seen and was quickly recognized as Sydney by one of them watching. Joy started speaking by introducing himself. ¡°My name is Joy Aukat?.¡± He was speaking in fluent English. ¡°I want to tell you about the Freedom to act. Four days ago I visited every GA prison in the world and freed the prisoners locked up, this was my show of Freedom to act. When the criminals took over entire cities in the absence of the GA that was their freedom to act. Now it¡¯s your turn. If you¡¯re waiting in some hole for everything to get better. It won¡¯t, you have to make that change. Take back your cities from whoever is ruling over them, after all you have the Freedom to act, but in the end the only way is to come and get rid of me, I will be waiting.¡± The video ended immediately after Everybody at the table was left speechless, but the silence was then broken by Milo asking if they should go fight him. ¡°No.¡± Eaco responded. ¡°Remember he isn¡¯t our only problem, there¡¯s still Kire, Iro, Sara and whoever else they¡¯re surrounded by.¡± ¡°But there¡¯s over 30 of us.¡± Milo argued. Most sided with Eaco, they told Milo that they were in no condition to fight. Milo tried to argue against them, but it only led to the meeting ending abruptly as most just left. All around the globe reactions to the video were similar, some were motivated to change and some were too scared to act, but Michael¡¯s actual brother Liam actually recognized Joy in the video. When he saw it he immediately thought Joy looked somewhat familiar and after realizing to check the picture Michael had taken in the cave he recognized Joy¡¯s face that was just barely visible in the picture, but Liam still thought they looked similar. He thought about telling his parents at first, but then thought it to be unnecessary. Instead he decided to go to Germany and tell someone in the GA directly. Liam knew of a few people in their town who were planning to drive all the way to Germany, it was the only way for regular people to traverse the world now as public transport didn¡¯t exist anymore. They departed the very next day, three cars all filled with 5 people drove through Europe for over 16 hours, but throughout the entire journey they didn¡¯t see a single car and only 2 people. Cities and towns were completely empty; the two people they saw were just sitting on top of a building looking around, most likely keeping watch for possible danger the same as in their town. The only other place they saw people at was when they arrived at Berlin where they had to leave their car at the edge of the city and continue by foot as the streets were too packed with cars and after 20 minutes of just walking they finally saw the first people. ¡°Where do you come from?¡± They asked Liam¡¯s group. One of them answered telling them they came from Croatia. ¡°Oh, so not that far.¡± One of the people said. ¡°The walls are that way, there are many sleeping in cars and building outside the walls as there''s nowhere near enough space inside them yet. You can also stay here, we''re just waiting for the walls to expand.¡± Most of the group went into the building, but Liam along with a few others wanted to go deeper. When they got to the furthest walls the guards immediately told them to turn around. The others tried to argue against them, but slowly accepted it and walked away, but Liam didn''t, he had a different reason for wanting to get past the guards. They weren¡¯t impressed by Liam¡¯s story at first and tried to get him to leave, but when he showed them the picture they realized that Liam might be telling the truth. He was let through and the men told him to talk to the guards at the next gate. Beyond the first wall there were thousands of people just sitting outside looking miserable. Liam walked past all of them to the next gate and told the guard the same story he told previously. He called someone who came to the gate pretty quickly, Liam told his story one more time. The man didn¡¯t react much to the story itself, but still told him to follow him. He led Liam through all the people into the next gate that was the lobby of a hotel this time. He was told to wait in the lobby, while the man made a call. Liam fell asleep so he didn¡¯t know how long he had to wait, but five hours later he was woken up by a dark and handsome man. He sat down next to Liam and asked him whether he was lying about the story. Liam gave a quick and firm ¡°No.¡± as an answer. The man didn¡¯t break eye contact with Liam and after a while chuckled a bit concerned. ¡°What¡¯s your name?¡± He asked. ¡°Liam.¡± ¡°Nice to meet you Liam, My name is Alec Togalia.¡± He introduced himself and reached out his hand. Liam grabbed it and they shook hands. ¡°Tell me the whole story.¡± Alec said. ¡°Back in October I was hiking back home in Imotski with Heal¡­ I mean my brother Michael and grandpa¡­¡± He started, but was interrupted by Alec. ¡°Michael? Joy¡¯s brother¡¯s name is Michael as well.¡± ¡°Do you know what he looks like?¡± Liam asked and started going through his photos. Alec answered ¡°Yes.¡± and Liam showed him a picture of his brother and told that Michael has been missing since. Alec was even more shocked. ¡°No fucking way!¡± He yelled out and then told Liam to follow him. Alec was surprised by Liam was able being able to keep up with him pretty well even though he was running. They ran to the hospital in the middle and Alec showed Liam the way into the cafeteria where Isaac was sitting by himself watching something on a laptop. Isaac looked up to see who came into the room and was surprised when he saw Liam. ¡°Who is he?¡± Isaac asked Alec. ¡°He¡¯s Michael¡¯s real brother.¡± Alec answered. Isaac closed the laptop and took a better look at Liam. ¡°You do look alike.¡± Alec offered Liam a seat at the table and sat down himself as well. ¡°What¡¯s your story?¡± Isaac asked. ¡°Back in October Me, Michael and our grandpa found a human in a cave.¡± Michael took out his phone and showed the picture to Isaac. ¡°I¡¯m not crazy for thinking that he looks very similar to Joy Aukat?, Am I?¡± Alec looked at Isaac who was staring Liam down. ¡°Look me in the eyes.¡± Isaac commanded Liam. He stared Liam down for almost 20 seconds and then finally rested and leaned back in his chair. ¡°Could you find your way into that cave again?¡± This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. ¡°Yes.¡± Liam ¡°Alright. So what happened to your brother and Joy?¡± Isaac asked. ¡°After we found Joy my grandpa took him to a hospital, I never saw him after that. Me and Michael went home by ourselves and Michael disappeared the next day.¡± Liam answered. ¡°So you didn¡¯t actually see him taken to a hospital?¡± Isaac confirmed ¡°No, he left in a hurry and left us there.¡± Liam answered. Isaac thought by himself for a second. ¡°I think your grandfather might be connected to your brother¡¯s disappearance. It can¡¯t be a coincidence that you don¡¯t know for sure where Joy was taken to after you found him and the next day your brother vanishes.¡± ¡°Don¡¯t forget them being apparent brothers and Michael not having memories of his past.¡± Alec added. ¡°How is Joy, Michael¡¯s brother?¡± Liam asked. ¡°Well it seems like he isn¡¯t, but Michael thinks so. Maybe they were Joy¡¯s actual family, but Michael was just brainwashed and taken in for some insane plan because he is strong.¡± Alec explained. ¡°What do you mean Michael¡¯s strong?¡± Liam asked. ¡°He¡¯s strong, what else could it mean? That¡¯s what got the two of them on the GA¡¯s radar in the first place.¡± Isaac answered. Liam was trying to put all the information into its place to think of anything else to ask, but couldn¡¯t think of anything. While he was looking at the ceiling Isaac took out his phone and started typing a message, right as he pressed send Liam asked him where Michael was now. Isaac got up and told Liam to follow him. He showed the way to where Michael was being held and let Liam peek through window on the door to see Michael laying on the bed reading something. He almost burst out in tears, but could hold them in, he tried to open the door, but it was locked. ¡°I can¡¯t let you talk to him yet.¡± Isaac stated. ¡°Why not?¡± Liam asked. ¡°His case isn¡¯t solved yet, His involvement with Joy is still too unclear, so we keep him in here.¡± Isaac answered. Liam tried arguing with Isaac to let him see his brother, but Isaac put down all of his arguments and walked back into the cafeteria. Alec and Liam followed him. Liam kept pestering Isaac as they were walking, but he then finally shut all of it down by saying he isn¡¯t allowed to make that call. This was a complete lie, not only was he more than allowed to make a call of Michael simply talking with someone, He as well as Monika, Milo, Vb and Eaco were all almost a 100% sure that Michael was in no way aware of Joy¡¯s actions. He was even more sure now that Michael¡¯s actual blood relative was here. When they got to the cafeteria the table was almost full with people, Isaac told Alec and Liam to sit down while he himself went and asked Vb to come talk with him privately. Monika and Milo were also very surprised when they saw Liam and Milo kept staring at him until Vb and Isaac came to sit with them. Isaac started the meeting by reminding everyone about Michael. When everyone was up to date he introduced Liam to them. ¡°This is his biological brother.¡± He then started telling them Liam''s story of finding Joy in the cave, while explaining he took Liam¡¯s phone out of his pocket and showed the picture to everyone on a large screen, shocking them. He then told his plan of sending a group of 5 to 6 with Liam there to go check the cave out as well as take Liam¡¯s grandfather into questioning. ¡°Any volunteers?¡± Isaac asked. Milo was the first one to raise his hand and Monika wasn¡¯t much behind him, but the two of them were the only ones. Vb was fully expecting to see at least a third hand that was Tatadoro, but only then did he realize that Tatadoro wasn¡¯t even with them to begin with and when he asked Milo and Monika where he was, but both of them just shrugged it off. Isaac wasn¡¯t concerned about Tatadoro¡¯s whereabouts, he wanted to get at least 1 or 2 more on board with the mission, but nobody would. Milo assured Isaac that they would be able to carry out the mission and Monika disbanded the meeting right there. Milo and Monika wasted no time the ignored everyone else and ran away with Liam. They took of in one of the flying cars and Monika asked where they were going. ¡°Imotski, Croatia.¡± Liam answered. He wasn¡¯t sure whether he should talk, but got the courage to complain. ¡°Isaac Riba still has my phone.¡± ¡°You¡¯ll get it back today.¡± Monika promised. ¡°You know your brother is really strong, does it run in the family?¡± ¡°Isaac Riba said that as well, but no, at least not to my knowledge.¡± He answered. ¡°Usually it does, do you have an easier time improving at things?¡± Monika asked. Liam thought for a while, but realized that she had hit the mark quite well. Monika kept quiet for the remainder of the ride as she knew Milo wanted to talk with Liam. The first thing he asked was Liam¡¯s age. Liam told him that he was 17, 3 years older than Michael and only 2 years older than Milo. He then asked Liam to tell him about his family. He started by saying his family wasn¡¯t special compared to them, but this didn¡¯t move Milo a bit as he was captivated the entire time. They had already arrived in Croatia, but Monika had let Liam finish his story. Milo was just about to ask him to keep going, but Monika interrupted them by asking Liam where they should land. ¡°By the Blue Lake.¡± Liam answered, looked out the window and pointed out to Monika where it was. They landed on the nearest road from which point onward Liam led the way. ¡°It¡¯ll be a bit hard to find the hole under all this snow.¡± They walked a bit further until Liam said that the hole should be around there somewhere. Milo''s left hand started glowing bright yellow and all the snow started melting with his hand as the center. He walked around melting all the snow and not too much later Liam saw the hole and they all crawled in there, Milo¡¯s hand was still glowing so he took the lead. They walked for around a kilometer until they got to the circular end of the cave where Joy was. Milo walked in the middle and Monika took out her phone to take a few pictures of the cave. They didn''t do anything else in there, but as they were walking Milo said that the place felt heavy in Energy, which Monika agreed with. After they walked back in the car and took off Liam pointed out a supermarket in the middle of the city, that''s where he thought his grandfather was. They landed right in front of the building where multiple people stepped out of it to stop them from entering, but when they saw Monika they were let in immediately. The situation inside was much more miserable than in Berlin, people were sleeping on floors with only a few having at least a sleeping bag. As Monika and Milo walked around the isles more and more people were realizing who they were. Liam finally saw his grandpa Samuel and pointed him out to Monika and Milo, he saw this and immediately ran out the building, this created a loud sonic boom which stunned almost everyone except Monika and Milo who ran after him, when they stepped out they saw him jumping atop buildings trying to get away. Samuel thought he got away, but suddenly felt someone grab him from the neck and throw him towards the ground, only after he had already hit the pavement did he hear a sonic boom and fell unconscious. Monika had stayed back; she saw Samuel¡¯s speed and determined that her helping Milo would be overkill against someone so weak. Milo dragged Samuel back to the market where everybody was still trying to recover from the loud bang Samuel had created. Monika didn¡¯t stay and help them, she grabbed Liam and was just about to leave when Liam¡¯s mother came to stop her. ¡°Where are you taking him?¡± She asked. Monika didn¡¯t answer her question, but instead asked whether she knew anything about Michael¡¯s disappearance. Lara was shocked by the weird question, but didn¡¯t answer it either. "How do you know about that?" ¡°Your son told me about it, Michael has ties to Joy Aukat?. You should come to Germany, Michael is there.¡± Monika answered. A whole lot of emoties went over Lara, her legs turned weak and she couldn¡¯t hold back her tears of relief. She would¡¯ve asked Monika more questions, but she didn¡¯t stay to wait for Lara to stop crying. Milo was already waiting in the backseat with Samuel and not much later they took off with Liam in the front seat. He had passed out from the bang and like his grandfather stayed unconscious for the entire drive. Monika could see Vb waiting on the roof and suspected it was to scold them, but she was wrong. At first he helped take Samuel into the cellar where he was tied down to a chair and the room was filled with gas, but after that was done he asked Monika again whether she knew where Tatadoro was. ¡°No.¡± Monika answered as she tried to slip out of the conversation, but Vb prevented it. ¡°You say no, but you seem to want out of this conversation.¡± He said and took out a phone out of his pocket. ¡°This is his work phone. I found it on top of a building outside Berlin.¡± ¡°Milo could know, but I haven¡¯t seen or talked to him in 5 days.¡± Monika answered. She was finally let past Vb who gave up trying to talk to her. Monika was wrong, not even Milo knew where Tatadoro was, the last time anyone had seen him was when Milo told him about Sara and Samuel Laray being the same person. After Milo put that thought in his head Tatadoro laid atop a roof by himself for an entire day during which he came to the decision to go and confirm it. At first he thought about going to tell Vb and Eaco about this plan to get more people on board, but he knew the reception it would get. When christmas eve rolled by and the video was released he immediately knew where to go, that¡¯s when he left his phone on the roof and travelled all the way to Australia by foot. Nidenel Thousands of people had come to Sydney. It looked to be more than in Berlin, but in reality people were just more packed. In the middle of that massive crowd was a hotel with a few hundred people sitting outside on plastic chairs. They were people who had volunteered to prevent anyone from entering the hotel or more specifically they stopped anyone who crossed a red line that had been drawn on the pavement. Around a kilometer away from the hotel was a tall building where Tatadoro was laying on the ledge staring at the hotel. He hadn¡¯t slept for 16 hours since he arrived in Sydney, but during that entire time he had not seen Joy or Sara even once. Not having a phone with him to record was problematic as he knew fatigue from not sleeping would eventually get him, but luckily enough for him he saw a path forming in the crowd. He stood up to get a better look at them, but could only see the backs of 2 men and the shocked looks on peoples faces as they got out of the way. As the they got closer to the red line Tatadoro knew something out of the ordinary would happen and not to his surprise the guards moved out of the way without second thought. Tatadoro couldn¡¯t see through walls and was left only to speculate who they were until they came back out. Kire and Iro looked around the lobby as they were walking towards the elevator, but one of the men outside ran to them and explained that the elevator was out of order, before he walked back outside he told them to use the stairs up to the sixth floor. They shared a disappointed look, but wasted no time and jumped all the way up in the stairwell. Right before Kire opened the door into the hallway he jokingly asked Iro what room they were in, but after opening the door they saw a massive open space with all the walls demolished to turn the floor into a singular room. There was very little furniture in the room and the carpets were pretty messed up as the places where walls had been were very distinct. They heard a constant clacking in the room and as there was only a ton of bookshelves in one corner they assumed it came from Sara who was ricocheting what looked to be thousands of balls off the wall. As they got closer the clacking started sounding more more like a jackhammer. She continued playing, but still yelled out ¡°The first challenger?¡± Kire tried saying they hadn¡¯t come there to challenge anyone, but he was interrupted by Sara. ¡°I know you didn¡¯t, that¡¯s why I even opened the door for you.¡± The balls then stopped mid air and Sara turned around to face them. ¡°Well I¡¯m very curious what has brought you two here.¡± Kire looked around and grabbed one of the balls. ¡°Where is Joy, I would like to talk with him face to face.¡± Sara took a long look at Kire¡¯s hand before looking back at his face. ¡°What do you want to tell him, I can relay a message.¡± ¡°Who are you again and why are you talking in his place?¡± Kire asked. ¡°I¡¯m Sara, I¡¯m a tool for Joy to use as he wishes and I¡¯m not talking for him, just simply saving his time.¡± She answered. ¡°Saving his time?¡± Iro chuckled ¡°Clearly his time is valuable seeing as he is reading books by himself.¡± Iro pointed at the bookshelves where in the middle Joy was laying on a bed reading. They walked to him and Kire asked Joy whether he recognized him, but was met with silence. ¡°That¡¯s why you came here?¡± Sara mocked him. Kire ignored Sara and walked right next to him, this time Joy didn¡¯t ignore him, but looked straight up at Kire. ¡°Do you remember when I came to your apartment a few months ago?¡± He asked again. Joy was silent for quite a while as he stared at Kire. ¡°I do.¡± He eventually answered. While talking Iro had taken a few steps back without Sara noticing and was looking at her reactions without her knowing. ¡°What are you trying to do and why didn¡¯t you kill anyone when you had the chance?¡± Kire asked. ¡°I¡¯m not trying to kill anyone." Joy stated. "I created an environment that forces humanity to evolve.¡± Kire acted surprised, but in reality he didn¡¯t believe what Joy said. He asked whether he would mind if he himself went to kill them, but Joy had already continued reading the book and ignored him. Kire acted frustrated and stormed out yelling he¡¯ll go on a rampage. Tatadoro soon saw them step out of the building and walk back until they got to a car. Kire and Iro didn¡¯t say a word to each other before they got there and even then they looked around before speaking. ¡°Honestly you were pushing it?¡± Iro said as he sat down in the car. ¡°Did you get the message to him?¡± ¡°I did and he even gave me a thumbs up.¡± Kire answered. ¡°What about her reactions?¡± ¡°I doubt she noticed it, but she did seem pretty shocked when Joy said that thing about evolution.¡± Iro Kire thought for a second while Iro was starting up the car. ¡°Maybe the evolution thing wasn¡¯t bullshit, I just assumed so because that was after he gave me the thumbs up.¡± ¡°Do I just drive back to Kate¡¯s place or?¡± Iro asked. Kire nodded. ¡°Yeah, I¡¯m gonna talk to Nidenel.¡± He closed his eyes, breathed in and fell asleep almost immediately. When he opened his eyes he was in the middle of a birch forest. It was almost new years eve, but the forest was orange like it would be during September. He didn¡¯t seem too surprised by it, but walked out of the woods onto a path on which he could see a person picking up leaves off it. The person looked a lot like a human, but it had claw-like hands and horns. Kire walked a bit closer, sat down on the ground next to him and asked what the difference in strength between him and Sara was. He got a very nonchalant answer. ¡°Purely off Energy, I¡¯d say 8 to 9 times stronger than you.¡± This frustrated Kire, he had never felt as powerless as right now. ¡°How can I kill her?¡± Kire asked. Nidenel held out a leaf in front of Kire and on it he could see Tatadoro standing atop a building. ¡°Maybe you need to turn to your enemies for help.¡± ¡°Absolutely fucking not.¡± Kire yelled. ¡°Then you need to tell the boy to open his subconsciousness so I can talk with him.¡± Nidenel said gently ¡°Hopefully he calls me soon, I¡¯ll ask him then.¡± Kire promised ¡°But can you tell me where exactly Tatadoro is?¡± Nidenel seemed a bit disappointed now, but complied. ¡°Around a kilometer to the northwest.¡± On the same second Kire woke up back in the car, he noticed that he had gotten a message, but before looking at it he told Iro to stop the car and stepped out to jumped higher than all the buildings. He saw Tatadoro looking right at him on top of one of them and used another building as a foothold to jumped right at him. Kire gave up and jumped back next to the car as he was sitting back in and he took out his phone and checked the message from an unknown number. It read. ¡°What are you planning?¡± Kire sent a message back asking who it was and got a picture of Joy back. He asked whether he or Sara was the one in control and Joy confirmed that it was Sara. Then Kire asked Joy what their true goal was and soon got a response. ¡°I told the true goal. Sara said that I wasn¡¯t allowed to tell anyone anything or she¡¯d kill them, but I thought to test her since you all were there.¡± Kire was surprised, he asked Joy whether he thinks the three of them could¡¯ve won against Sara, but was disappointed by his response. ¡°No we would¡¯ve lost.¡± ¡°Then why did you say that?¡± Kire asked. ¡°You are a part of her plan to evolve humanity.¡± Joy responded. Kire was shocked, but he thought that this conversation was too risky to begin with. ¡°Can we talk through these means in the future?¡± He asked, but got a very quick response. ¡°No.¡± Kire had his guesses on what would happen if Sara found out so he sent out his final message to Joy. ¡°Next time you go to sleep, open your subconsciousness.¡± At the same time Joy was confused by the message Kire had sent, but as he didn¡¯t get a response to his question what it even meant after 5 minutes he threw the phone at a wall. He laid on his back thinking what it could mean, but the only lead he had was that it had to have something to do with dreams, so he went through the bookshelves and found a book about dreams which he read in a few hours. After finishing the book he knocked himself unconscious by gently tapping his temple. Joy woke in a completely black room with nothing, but a bed and a massive circular window out of which the surface moon could be seen as well as millions of stars. He got up and walked out of the room into a massively tall hallway with doors all the way to the roof. Every door except for one was closed and when he walked to it inside he saw Sara and a few other people. He walked in and heard them talking in the same language that Sara was speaking to him in before he fought Isaac. Right in the middle of a sentence Sara turned right around, stared him in the eyes and yelled. ¡°This is not real!¡± Joy then remembered why he was there and everything dissolved around him, but when he blinked everything was the same as before. He closed his eyes to focus more and soon every person in the room turned into identical twins of himself. Joy went in to shake hands with one of them, but again everything turned back when he blinked. He remembered the book he read had explained dreams as an array of thoughts created by one''s subconsciousness. He thought for a while for a way to control it and quickly got an idea. Everyone turned into him again, but this time Joy himself turned microscopic. He ran to one of the copies and climbed into its ear hoping it would lead him into his own subconsciousness. He kept walking through the nerves and ended up finding a typewriter in there, the paper that it was writing on perfectly described his dream before he became lucid. Joy thought for a while, but then wrote in the paper that he was alone in the room. This worked to fool his subconsciousness as when he blinked he was back in the room, but this time alone. He took off one of his own fingers and threw it on the floor, it molded into a copy of himself and Joy climbed into its ear once again. When he got back to the typewriter he had to think for a while, but then came up with the idea that the room he was in was his mind. He blinked once more and wound up in the same room, he then turned around and opened the door which to his surprise led into a forest. Nidenel had taken the form of a human as he wasn¡¯t sure whether Joy was an enemy who knew what he looked like. He was standing right next to him, but Joy didn¡¯t notice it at first only after he looked around he got startled and accidentally closed his eyes. This time it did nothing and he asked ¡°Is this real?¡± ¡°Not physically.¡± Nidenel answered ¡°This is my dream we¡¯re in.¡± ¡°Who are you?¡± Joy asked as he was poking at him. Nidenel moved Joy¡¯s hand away. ¡°I¡¯m nobody.¡± ¡°Okay. How did you do this?¡± Joy asked as he was looking around. ¡°I¡¯m still asleep right?¡± Nidenel stayed quiet until Joy turned back to him. ¡°In the real world, what are you trying to do?¡± ¡°Get rid of Sara.¡± Joy answered. Nidenel was surprised as he could see that Joy was being honest. ¡°Why?¡± He asked. ¡°So I don¡¯t die.¡± Joy stated as if it was obvious. ¡°Die?¡± Nidenel chuckled, ¡°Who could even kill you?¡± ¡°To Sara my whole point of existence is to be a weapon to kill the saint inside earth.¡± Joy answered, shocking Nidenel. "They need to kill me to use me." ¡°What does that mean?¡± Nidenel asked. Joy realized that nobody on earth would even know what it meant. ¡°There¡¯s someone who was sealed inside earth because he was too difficult to kill.¡± ¡°And you¡¯re supposed to be a weapon to kill him?¡± Nidenel asked. He stayed quiet thinking, but decided to reveal himself. ¡°What¡¯s your saint power?¡± ¡°Huh?¡± ¡°What¡¯s your saint power?¡± Joy didn¡¯t expect him to know anything about saints, but he even knew he was one. ¡°How do you know that?¡± ¡°The same way Sara knows.¡± Nidenel answered. ¡°The Energy saints emit is different from others. Like the name implies it feels more¡­ divine.¡± Joy then got the first hand experience of it when Nidenel revealed his true form. ¡°They didn¡¯t seal me in here because I was hard to kill, but because I was impossible to kill. So I¡¯m really curious what your saint power is.¡± He then grabbed Joy¡¯s head and entered his mind similarly to how Joy entered his own, but it was nothing like that, he was greeted by something incomprehensible. ¡°WHAT WAS THAT!?¡± He yelled out after pushing Joy away from him. Joy was a bit scared of Nidenel reactions, he was about to ask him what had happened, but he immediately woke up in his bed. He saw Sara at the other end of the room still playing with the balls. To think that Nidenel was able to speak with Kire even though he was sealed surprised him and the fact that he stated himself to be impossible to kill, why would he be a crucial part to killing someone like that? While laying there thinking he once again heard someone speaking to him, it was the same voice that spoke to him the first time on the day he burned down his and Michael¡¯s home. He listened to it without a second thought and walked into the stairwell where he jumped to the lowest floor. Sara realized it and ran after him, in the lobby she yelled at Joy asking where he was thinking of going, but Joy ignored her. He walked outside where the guards as well as the crowd was surprised to see him come out, all the yelling and noise quieted down momentarily as everyone expected him to talk. Joy looked around and back at Sara who seemed a bit tense. Out of nowhere a massive lighting struck into the crowd plowing through them like butter. He fell unconscious and found himself standing in front of the typewriter, but was unable to move; he felt as if his body was being pushed apart from the inside. The people guarding watched as Joy laid on the ground screaming and right as one of them was about to say something every single person who was witnessing it had their head pierced by one of thousands of marbles flying around. Sara picked Joy up and carried him back inside, she sat him down on a chair and used some sort of special chains to tie him onto it. Joy soon stopped screaming, but he didn¡¯t wake up just yet as the typewriter was right there. It had to be a sign similar to the voices that had told him to go outside and kill everyone, but most importantly both him and Nidenel knew what had just happened, upon killing people in the crowd the Energy within them had been transferred to Joy. As he slowly opened his eyes he saw that Sara was furious. ¡°What the fuck do you think you¡¯re doing?¡± ¡°They were being too loud.¡± Joy had to come up with some sort of excuse, but he also knew that if he didn¡¯t say anything about him consuming the crowd¡¯s Energy Sara would get even more suspicious. ¡°What happened to me?¡± ¡°You passed out.¡± Sara wasn¡¯t yelling anymore, but was still furious. Joy was sure that Sara knew he had figured out something. ¡°Why wasn¡¯t I allowed to kill anyone while fighting them?¡± He now knew the actual answer, but was curious as to what excuse Sara would come up with, or maybe she would just reveal the truth. ¡°They can¡¯t evolve if they¡¯re dead.¡± Sara answered. It was a logical answer, there was nothing Joy could say to get out of that situation, or was there? Before leaving Kire had said that he would go on a rampage, maybe Sara would actually care if someone like Tatadoro died. Or would she? How much would Tatadoro matter when considering the entirety of humanity? It was worth the try at least. ¡°Isn¡¯t Kire going to kill them?¡± Joy asked, hoping it would worry Sara. Sara started laughing at Joy. ¡°You think he could?¡± Mocking him, but Joy¡¯s seriousness made her reconsider and her face slowly turned to a more concerned one. Kire and Iro were still driving, their destination was a few hours away from Sydney and although they could just run there in a few minutes Kire could only talk with Nidenel while sleeping so they had decided to use a car. Their car ride came to a sudden halt when Sara and Joy landed next to them. Hello Brother! Tatadoro was panting, he had been running non stop for the past 9 hours and just collapsed onto the roof of the hospital. While laying there, people were coming to the roof to check what it was that had landed there, but as they realized it was just Tatadoro they went back inside. Not many had even noticed that he had been gone for so long. Only Vb and Eaco stayed and they asked where he had been. Tatadoro was trying to stay conscious, but was able to answer them. "Sydney." Vb seemed pretty pissed off. He asked Tatadoro why he went there alone. ¡°We were working on too many questions without real knowledge.¡± Tatadoro answered. ¡°Eaco, I think you were right.¡° ¡°About Kire?¡± She asked. ¡°Yeah. I saw them get special treatment when going into the hotel where Joy is.¡± Tatadoro explained. ¡°Ok.¡± Eaco ¡°What about the thing Milo said?¡± ¡°I couldn¡¯t see her.¡± Tatadoro admitted. ¡°I had to leave pretty quickly cuz they knew I was there.¡± ¡°What?¡± Eaco and Vb asked simultaneously. ¡°Yeah, I was watching Kire driving away, but then he got out of the car and just tracked me down almost perfectly.¡± Tatadoro explained. ¡°And I¡¯m pretty fucking sure I was calm as a cucumber.¡± Neither of them knew what to think of it. ¡°Glad you¡¯re alive, but it seems like going there was a bit pointless.¡± Vb said. ¡°Yeah, I know.¡± Tatadoro sighed in defeat. ¡°But has anything happened here either?¡± Vb helped Tatadoro up and they walked inside as Vb and Eaco told him about Liam, The cave and Michael¡¯s grandfather. ¡°Milo and Monika are interrogating him right now.¡± ¡°Really?¡± Tatadoro chuckled. ¡°What¡¯s he said so far?¡± ¡°Nothing.¡± Vb said. They got to the room where Monika and Samuel were behind a 1 way mirror. Milo and Liam were sitting on a couch and when they saw Tatadoro Liam got up to greet him. Tatadoro greeted him back and shook his hand. He saw Monika in the room with Samuel and asked Vb whether they had tried showing Michael to him. When told that they hadn''t, Tatadoro told Milo to go get him. He knocked on the glass and sat down on the couch next to Liam, surprising him. Monika came out and as she was sitting down, Tatadoro asked Eaco if Michael was free. She was about to answer, but Milo was already back with Michael. He glanced to the couch that was next to the door and was surprised to see so many people there, but when locking eyes with Liam he didn¡¯t seem to recognize him at all. He was then pulled into the interrogation room by Milo and Vb who went there with him. After Vb closed the door, Tatadoro asked Eaco what she was about to say. ¡°Yeah, we haven¡¯t really discussed him.¡± Eaco replied. Tatadoro was perplexed, he asked Eaco why, but she didn¡¯t have anything to say. ¡°Well, let''s discuss it now.¡± Tatadoro stated. ¡°Isaac and Milo are vouching for him and I trust them so can he be free?¡± Eaco thought there should be a further discussion than that, but not even she herself believed Michael to be an enemy so she reluctantly agreed. ¡°Alright, he can join our training sessions.¡± Tatadoro said. He then turned towards Liam and asked from whose side Samuel was related to him. Liam answered that it was his mother¡¯s dad and Tatadoro turned to Monika to ask whether she met her. His answer raised Liam''s curiosity he had no idea what Energy was and decided to ask Tatadoro who tried his best explaining it, but he was so bad at it that it just confused Liam even more. On the other side of the class Samuel had stayed quiet, but was slightly nervous. Vb was standing behind Milo, staring Samuel right into his eyes. They had all been quiet for the whole time until Michael finally asked Milo what they were doing, he asked Michael whether he recognized the man in front of them, but he didn¡¯t. Vb then grabbed Michael and dragged him out of the room, he asked everyone else to come in there with him. They all stared at Samuel as Vb started asking him questions. First he asked what he had done to Michael, but like before he stayed quiet. He next asked about Michael memory loss and if he knew how it happened, but again Samuel stayed silent. Samuel was doing his best to keep his composure, but every now and then something would slip through and the 5 sets of eyes analyzing his every move made it almost impossible for him to hide it. Michael had been left alone with Liam who now finally had the chance to talk with him, but he was aware of Michael''s memory loss and the fact that he fully thought Joy was his actual brother. Liam didn¡¯t even know what to say to him so he just awkwardly sat next to him. ¡°So who is that old guy in there with everyone?¡± Michael asked, surprising Liam, but also making him sad. ¡°He¡¯s my grandfather.¡± Liam answered while turning to look at everybody through the class. ¡°Oh, what did he do?¡± Michael asked. ¡°I don¡¯t know yet¡­¡± He glanced over to Michael and was startled by him staring right at him. ¡°He might know what happened to my brother." He continued. ¡°Oh.¡± Michael was completely clueless of the situation and was being rather straightforward with his questions. ¡°What do you think happened to him?¡± Liam was shocked to hear Michael ask that and had to think for a while. ¡°I think he got kidnapped and brainwashed.¡± He finally answered, he saw Michael turn away again and apologize for prying. The mood got even more awkward, It didn¡¯t even last that long, but to them it felt like forever. Their savior was Milo when he came out of the room and sat down between them. He told Michael the good news. "Tatadoro got you free." Michael seemed ecstatic after hearing it. ¡°Really?¡± ¡°Yeah, Nobody should be stopping you everywhere you go.¡± Milo answered. ¡°That¡¯s awesome.¡± There was a short silence after Michael said that, as Liam was staying quiet and Milo was just observing the two of them. ¡°So, did that old man tell anything about his brother?¡± He then asked, while pointing at Liam. Milo took a small glance at Liam before speaking. ¡°Actually we found him 2 months ago.¡± ¡°Really? That sounds like good news. Where was he?¡± Michael asked obliviously. ¡°You¡¯re his brother.¡± Milo said. Initially Michael was shocked, but Liam was even more so. Michael started chuckling shortly after, but as he watched Milo¡¯s and Liam¡¯s faces completely serious his smile quickly vanished. ¡°You¡¯re just joking right?¡± Milo shook his head and told Liam to show him a picture of the two from his phone. The picture shocked Michael even further. ¡°How is that even possible?¡± he yelled. ¡°Mom and Dad knew about the drowning.¡± ¡°Now you aren¡¯t even thinking logically.¡± Milo scolded. ¡°What if the drowning never happened. I mean you wouldn¡¯t know since you lost your memory.¡± Michael stayed completely quiet. ¡°Liam¡¯s grandfather wouldn¡¯t say anything directly, but most likely he sold you and Joy to somebody who then created the facade to make you believe some other people were your parents.¡± Milo continued. ¡°So is Joy also his brother?¡± Michael asked and pointed to Liam again. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. ¡°No, We found him in a cave the day before you disappeared.¡± Liam said. ¡°Do you remember the date of the first day you remember?¡± Milo asked Michael. He quickly answered. "October 19th" ¡°So 6 days after you went missing.¡± Liam Michael was shaking his head; he wasn''t sure whether to believe them or not. He then remembered when Isaac briefly mentioned the possibility that Joy wasn¡¯t his actual brother he took it to heart and was destroyed about it until he realized that it was most likely just a joke, but now it was the actual truth. ¡°Do you want to go have another talk with the old guy?¡± Milo cheekily asked. Michael quickly stood up and marched into the room, Milo and Liam followed after him and everybody in there were surprised by Michael¡¯s determination. He yelled to Samuel what he did to him, but Samuel still wouldn¡¯t talk. Even Liam was now getting mad, he also asked who he sold Michael to, but Samuel only closed his eyes. It angered Liam even more and he was also about to start yelling, but Milo calmed them both down. ¡°What are you trying to achieve by not talking, Who¡¯re you protecting?¡± Milo wondered. ¡°Is it Aneta Racan?¡± Samuel tried his best to keep his composure and to anyone else it would¡¯ve gone unnoticed, but everyone in the GA were trained to pick up on even the smallest changes in composure. They all saw that small change in Samuel after hearing Aneta Racan mentioned and all almost burst out laughing. They then heard someone knocking on the door and when Tatadoro went to open it, Isaac and another man walked in. Michael was happy to see Isaac, but he didn¡¯t recognize the other man. He had seen him, but couldn¡¯t remember his name. Luckily he didn¡¯t have to as Eaco said it out loud. ¡°Chu, do you want to have a crack at this guy?¡± The man said sure and everyone quickly got out of there leaving him alone. Before leaving though Eaco sent him a text file that had everything they knew about Samuel written down. Nobody even stayed in the area outside the interrogation room; they all went to the cafeteria to eat as they knew what was to come. Chu Ya-Jun was known as someone who felt the least sorry for criminals going through interrogation. He was usually the very last resort as he would spare no means to make someone talk. He sat down on one of the chairs and read the text file Eaco sent him. ¡°What do you hope to achieve by not talking?¡± Chu asked Samuel, but like before Samuel stayed quiet. ¡°As you wish.¡± Chu sighed and then got up. He walked over to Samuel and grabbed his wrist. He flinched and tried to get away from Chu, but not only was he tied to the floor, but Chu had a tight hold on him. He was feeling a burning sensation all over his hand and it was not going away. Chu kept on holding onto him for 2 minutes while Samuel kept screaming. Finally he stopped and sat on the table, he asked whether Samuel changed his mind, but was disappointed to still not get him to talk. ¡°You know it won¡¯t get any easier. You know you¡¯re guilty. We know you¡¯re guilty and you know that we know you¡¯re guilty, so not talking will just make it hurt more.¡± Chu threatened, but was still met by silence. Chu was disappointed. He scratched his head and looked at the time, he put his phone down on the table and moved one of the chairs next to Samuel. He sat down on it and grabbed both of Samuel''s wrists and immediately the screaming continued. Chu was stimulating the pain receptors in Samuel''s hand. Similarly to how people could warm their own bodies, Chu was warming up only the pain receptors, but at a magnitude of thousands. Chu held his hands for almost 5 minutes straight and would occasionally make it less painful to prevent Samuel from getting too used to it, but Even after that Samuel was still staying quiet, this only frustrated Chu even more and he decided to amp up the pain even more. He locked Samuel¡¯s legs and hands in place and then grabbed his waist. Meanwhile everybody else was sitting down in the cafeteria to eat. Michael was sitting right by Liam who was telling the same story of finding Joy for the 10th time, but he was happy. He could finally talk with his brother after over 2 months of thinking he was dead. Tatadoro was the only one who hadn¡¯t come to the cafeteria. He was taking a shower in his bathroom when he heard someone open the door. He saw a silhouette through the foggy class sitting beside him on the toilet, but could easily recognize it as Monika. ¡°How long have you been awake for?¡± She asked. ¡°Haven¡¯t been counting, but somewhere close to 30 hours.¡± Tatadoro answered. ¡°Did you fight someone?¡± She asked in a worried tone. ¡°No." Tatadoro assured. "I ran here in 4 hours.¡± "After 30 hours of not sleeping. Why?" She asked. ¡°I was seen by Kire.¡± Tatadoro answered and got out of the shower. Monika passed Tatadoro the towel that was on the counter and asked. "Why?" ¡°I don¡¯t know, he just knew where I was.¡± Tatadoro babbled. ¡°Maybe Joy told him when they were in the hotel.¡± Monika got curious. ¡°Could you see inside?¡± ¡°No, all the shutters were closed on the windows.¡± Tatadoro said as he stepped out of the bathroom and fell over on the bed. ¡°I¡¯d rather not talk about the whole trip, it was a complete waste.¡± Monika followed him and sat down next to him. ¡°Do you wanna just sleep?¡± Tatadoro turned over. ¡°I might stay up for a while.¡± Back in the cafeteria Michael was telling of his past month with Isaac to Liam. While the two of them were talking Milo was sitting on the other side of the table listening to them while eating. Isaac saw him and thought he would be jealous of Liam for getting all the attention of Michael, but he couldn¡¯t have been more wrong. It was the first time in Milo¡¯s life when someone his age didn¡¯t idolize him and it only made Milo want to be friends with both of them even more. Milo carefully listened to every word both Michael and Liam said and when Michael started talking about the past week and mentioned him, he was more than happy to join the conversation. Eventually Chu walked into the cafeteria with a phone in his hands and everybody turned to look at him. ¡°He told me a pretty interesting tale.¡± Chu said as he placed his phone on the table with a recording app open. They all gathered around and Eaco pressed play on the recording. It started with panting as well as pleading and was followed up by Chu saying ¡°If you answer my every question I won¡¯t do anything else to you.¡± ¡°I will. I will, please don¡¯t touch me anymore.¡± Samuel whimpered. ¡°Alright, Look me in the eyes as you answer my questions.¡± Chu commanded. ¡°What did you do to Joy Aukat??¡± ¡°I gave him away to someone I used to work with.¡± Samuel answered with a shaky voice. ¡°Who?¡± Chu asked. ¡°Vince M.. Matays.¡± Samuel stuttered. ¡°Is he a part of Aneta Racan?¡± Chu asked. ¡°T... Technically.¡± Samuel ¡°What do you mean technically?¡± Chu asked. ¡°Technically only Kire and Iro are Aneta Racan while every other gang and criminal organization work for them.¡± Samuel slowly uttered. There was a brief silence. ¡°Ok, so why did you give Joy away to him?¡± Chu asked. ¡°Oh and did you also give your grandson to him?¡± ¡°Yes.¡± Samuel answered. ¡°Why?¡± Chu asked. ¡°Joy was different.¡± Samuel ¡°How?¡± Chu ¡°He was even more extraordinary than Sarim¡¯s son.¡± Samuel ¡°What?¡± Chu laughed. ¡°You know Sarim?¡± ¡°Yes.¡± Samuel ¡°Ok.¡± Chu chuckled. ¡°So why did you give them to this Vince person?¡± ¡°I knew he was looking for someone extraordinary.¡± Samuel ¡°What for.¡± Chu ¡°I don¡¯t know.¡± Samuel There was once again a brief silence. ¡°Alright.¡± Chu exhaled. ¡°Uhh, What¡¯s the last name of this Sarim person you spoke of?¡± ¡°Petrevska.¡± Samuel Everybody was shocked and looked at Milo, but the tape continued. ¡°How do you know him?¡± Chu asked. ¡°I used to work for him.¡± Samuel ¡°How long?¡± Chu ¡°Twenty years.¡± Samuel ¡°You mentioned his son, how did you meet him?¡± Chu ¡°His mother is my cousin.¡± Samuel Everybody was even more shocked, Milo got up from the table and ran away. ¡°What a small world.¡± Chu chuckled. ¡°That¡¯s all the question they wanted me to ask, but I think your other grandson would like to know. Why did you give Michael away?¡± ¡°Vince was supposed to give him back, but he never did.¡± Samuel There was a long silence after Samuel¡¯s response until the recording ended. ¡°Highly doubt he was lying, his responses were too genuine.¡± Chu explained as took his phone back. Nobody had anything to say to the recording especially Liam was shocked. Their moment of silence was interrupted by Milo returning with Monika. ¡°Was he telling the truth?¡± Monika asked. ¡°I believe so.¡± Chu answered. Monika extended her arm. ¡°Can I hear the recording?¡± ¡°Sure.¡± Chu answered as he gave her the phone. ¡°I want to speak with this Vince Matays person.¡± Vb declared. He got up and told Chu to follow him. They, along with everyone else except Monika, went back to the interrogation room where a sweaty Samuel was sitting by himself. His entire body was full of burn marks and blue spots. Vb and Chu marched in the room and Vb took out a phone out of his pocket. ¡°I want you to call Vince Matays.¡± Vb said as he unchained one of Samuel¡¯s hands and handed him the phone. Samuel knew that Vince¡¯s office had been attacked, but didn¡¯t mention it to anyone; he took the phone and dialed in Vince¡¯s number. ¡°Put it on speaker.¡± Vb ordered. The phone rang for a while, but to Samuel¡¯s surprise it was picked up. ¡°Who is this?¡± A girl¡¯s voice answered the phone. Samuel didn¡¯t recognize the voice, but Vb was gesturing to him to keep talking. ¡°Is this Vince¡¯s phone?¡± Samuel asked in a much more coherent voice. ¡°It is. Who are you?¡± She answered. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, I thought something happened to him.¡± Samuel. ¡°Yeah, I kidnapped him, but who are you?¡± She said. Vb took the phone out of Samuel¡¯s hand. ¡°I¡¯m Vb Ganz and I would like to talk with Vince Matays.¡± ¡°Sorry, but he hasn¡¯t been awake in a while." The girl rejected. "Why do you even want to talk with him?¡± ¡°I want to ask him what he did with Joy Aukat? and Michael Taylor.¡± Vb asked. Someone could be heard talking in the background before the girl answered. ¡°He was planning on making Michael a weapon for Kire to use against you.¡± A few people outside who heard her say that turned to look at Michael. ¡°Why?¡± Vb ¡°Because I was a failure.¡± Kate answered. ¡°What does that mean?¡± Vb ¡°I¡¯m Michael¡¯s predecessor, I was supposed to originally be the weapon against you.¡± Kate declared. ¡°What happened?¡± Vb asked. ¡°I escaped.¡± Kate. The call then ended abruptly as unbeknownst to Vb, during the call Kire, Iro, Sara and Joy had just driven to the driveway of another house and Kate had been watching them the whole time she was talking with him. Did I just dream that? Kire was more scared than he had ever been; both Joy and Nidenel had talked about how much of a threat Sara was and now she had tracked him down and he was sure she was there to kill him. He and Iro stepped out of the vehicle, but to their surprise Joy and Sara got in at the same time. ¡°Get in.¡± Joy ordered from the backseat. They slowly sat down back in the car and Kire saw Sara through the rear-view mirror staring at him without blinking. Joy ordered Iro to keep driving, he then asked Kire when he planned on attacking the GA. Kire glanced at the rear-view mirror again and saw Sara looking at Iro now. ¡°In a few days.¡± He answered. He hadn¡¯t actually planned an attack on anyone as he only said it in the heat of the moment. ¡°Alright, I¡¯m coming with you.¡± Joy stated shocking both Kire and Iro. Kire couldn¡¯t see the person Vince and Michael had described in Joy, instead of being meek, he was assertive and menacing. Kire was even doubting whether this was the same person he talked with through texts. He got the picture that Joy was being controlled, but if he was Joy sure was an excellent actor, but then the harshest reality hit, was he actually supposed to attack the GA? He was confident in his own abilities, but also knew his own limitations. Back when he was breaking Iro out of prison he fought Vb one on one and although defeating him never was his goal he wasn¡¯t holding back at all. ¡°Why did you train Michael?¡± Joy asked, interrupting Kire¡¯s thoughts. ¡°Huh?¡± Joy repeated himself. ¡°I was begged to and he could¡¯ve been an insider in the GA.¡± Kire answered. ¡°He is in the GA now.¡± Joy said. ¡°Great, maybe he will give me some inside knowledge when I go there in a few days.¡± Kire said sarcastically. Joy didn¡¯t understand Kire¡¯s sarcasm, he stayed quiet for the rest of the ride as he was thinking of his plan to escape from Sara during the battle and considered the chance that maybe Kire could convince Michael and the rest of GA to fight Sara while he himself escaped. The ride lasted almost 7 hours until they finally arrived, during the drive Kire was able to send a message to 55 where he asked her, Kate, Brown and Bobby to get out of the house as they were bringing Sara and Joy there. As Sara was getting out of the car she asked Iro why they didn¡¯t just run here as it would¡¯ve been much faster. He said he simply liked driving and since they weren¡¯t in a hurry why bother wasting energy. Sara accepted the response, she was the first to go in the house where she walked through every room and checked to see what or who was in there, but found nobody. The house looked abandoned, but recently used so it perfectly gave the image that Kire and Iro were just staying there for the moment. But Sara wasn¡¯t so easily fooled she knew something was up with the house as why would they even stay so far away from Sydney if they were going to be here for so little time. She really wanted to ask them that, but she was also trying to keep on the image that she wasn¡¯t controlling Joy so she had to refrain. Joy asked Kire where he could sleep, and Kire showed him to one of the bedrooms. He immediately laid down and closed his eyes, Sara walked in the room after Joy and then closed it. Meanwhile Kire walked into the living room and tried his hardest to eavesdrop on Sara from there, but he couldn¡¯t hear anything for three hours. That¡¯s when he got too tired and fell asleep. In actuality Sara was talking very loudly. Right right after closing the door she molded the walls so they absorbed almost all noise in the room, she then said to Joy that they were going back to Sydney, but Joy refused, he said he wanted to meet Michael one last time and then he would do whatever she said. Sara was frustrated, but complied. She then sat on a chair and watched Joy sleep all night. Kire barely remembered when he had fallen asleep and he wasn¡¯t even aware that he had until Nidenel reminded him that they in a dream. They were once again in a forest, but this time also by a lake. Kire noticed that Nidenel was somehow different so he asked if he was able to talk with Joy and was surprised by Nidenel¡¯s reaction. For the first time Nidenel seemed somewhat concerned. ¡°I don¡¯t trust him.¡± ¡°What?¡± Kire chuckled. He was a bit skeptical. ¡°What happened?¡± ¡°He is more than just a saint.¡± Nidenel fretted. ¡°I tried to get into his head, but there was something in there.¡± ¡°What?¡± Kire ¡°I don¡¯t know.¡± Nidenel stuttered. ¡°It was way beyond any comprehension.¡± ¡°What does that even mean?¡± Kire asked. ¡°It¡¯s incomprehensible. I can¡¯t explain something, I can''t even understand myself!¡± Nidenel yelled. ¡°If you really want to, try imagining¡­¡± ¡°Okay, Okay I get it.¡± Kire interrupted Nidenel to save himself from another horrible analogy. ¡°So did you even talk with him?¡± ¡°Yes. He¡¯s scared of her because she will kill him somewhere in the future.¡± Nidenel ¡°Does he know why?¡± Kire ¡°The cadvos want to use his saint power to kill me.¡± Nidenel ¡°How?¡± Kire ¡°What¡¯s his power then? ¡°I think he gains Energy by killing people.¡± ¡°Really?¡± Kire ¡°That¡¯s what it looked like. He did it almost immediately after our talk.¡± Nidenel ¡°That¡¯s incredible.¡± Kire said. ¡°Maybe he and I together could free you.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think you need to anymore, their plan sounds like I¡¯ll be freed eventually when they try to kill me.¡± Nidenel ¡°Wait, are you giving up?¡± Kire ¡°No. I literally just said that I''ll be freed eventually.¡± Nidenel ¡°But they¡¯re gonna kill you right?¡± Kire ¡°I¡¯m Immortal, that¡¯s the reason I was sealed, because I can¡¯t be killed.¡± Nidenel Kire was shocked to hear Nidenel. His life had no other meaning until eventually being the one to set Nidenel free of his millenia long imprisonment, but now Nidenel who was the one to give him this meaning originally was the one to give up entirely. It made him disappointed. ¡°Look, I¡¯m much less scared of what they can do to me than I am of what Joy himself could do.¡± Nidenel assured. This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. ¡°Do you think he would just let them kill him if he could do something to you?¡± Kire asked. ¡°Definitely not.¡± ¡°So then you wont get freed.¡± Kire ¡°Are you scared?¡± ¡°Of course I¡¯m scared, you would be too if you witnessed what I did.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t believe you.¡± ¡°That¡¯s fine.¡± ¡°What am I supposed to do then?¡± Kire asked. ¡°I can¡¯t just stop with my life''s work.¡± Nidenel didn¡¯t answer Kire, he turned to look at the lake in front of them. Kire wasn''t willing to give up. ¡°I¡¯ll work with Joy to free you even if you don¡¯t want that.¡± He then slapped himself awake right as Nidenel was about to yell at him not to. As Kire woke up he expected it to still be night, but it was sunny outside. He was still in the living room and when he checked the clock he realized that it was 9 am. He decided to look around the house to see whether anyone else was awake and eventually ventured outside to where Iro was sitting drinking coffee in the sun. ¡°How are you?¡± Kire asked as he sat down with Iro. ¡°Could be better.¡± Iro answered. ¡°Was the couch comfortable?¡± ¡°Not really, but He was just so quiet so I fell asleep.¡± Kire squinted both his eyes as he said that to indicate to Iro that the sentence had a hidden meaning, which Iro quickly understood. Both Kire and Iro were sure that Sara was eavesdropping on them, considering how easy it would be. Kire wanted Sara to know that he was eavesdropping on them, but didn¡¯t want to make it too obvious so that¡¯s why he was subtle when he said it. The true hidden meaning was to hint towards them being suspicious of Joy instead of Sara to indicate they weren¡¯t aware of their dynamic. The mind games seemed to work as Sara who was still sitting on the chair looking at Joy heard them talk outside and got the exact message Kire wanted her to get. She tried to make something out of everything else they said, but it wasn¡¯t anything that she thought was noteworthy. Around ten minutes later Joy finally woke up, he didn¡¯t pay any attention to Sara and walked right out of the room. He saw Kire and Iro sitting outside, but before going to talk with them he walked into the kitchen and checked the fridge for anything to eat, there wasn¡¯t much so he made himself a few sandwiches and then walked outside. ¡°I want to hear what your plan is.¡± Joy said as he sat down with them. ¡°There is no plan, we¡¯re just going in and killing everyone.¡± Kire said. ¡°So why the wait?¡± Joy asked. ¡°I want to do it on new years eve.¡± Kire was happy that Joy asked that as he thought it was a clever answer he came up with while on the car drive. Joy didn¡¯t ask any further questions, but instead ate the sandwiches quietly. After finishing them he simply got up and started walking around the house. Kire and Iro watched through the large window as Joy was walking around, he was bringing books into the living room and finally sat down and started reading. He was there uninterrupted for hours until he fell asleep, while he was reading Kire and Iro had gone into different rooms to meditate. Sara sat in the corner once again just staring at Joy sleep, but she was completely clueless of what Joy was actually doing. Even the entirety of the previous night Joy was using the dream world as a place to think. Right now he was going through the whole scenario where he hopefully would be able to escape, but even in a world which he completely controlled he just couldn¡¯t see himself simply running away from Sara. As he got more frustrated at his own powerlessness he released his anger onto Sara in the actual room he was sleeping in right now. Sara didn¡¯t even know that anything was happening to her because nothing really was. It was simply Joy¡¯s imagination, but he was optimistic, him being able to stand right next to Sara without her even knowing it gave him a wild idea. He thought that maybe it could be possible for the two versions to switch places. Could it even be possible to affect the real world from inside his dreams, if it was wouldn¡¯t Nidenel also be doing it? He really wanted to talk with him again, that¡¯s why he took the nap in the first place, maybe Nidenel only talked during the day, but so far it was just him alone. Maybe he could talk with Kire directly through the dreams just like Nidenel did. Joy closed his eyes and the surroundings disappeared, he floated around in the nothingness for a while thinking how Nidenel was able to enter other people¡¯s dreams. His initial idea was to somehow invade someone''s mind using Energy, but could Nidenel even do that? The seal is supposed to prevent any Energy from leaving the core of the planet. Joy came to a conclusion that it couldn¡¯t have anything to do with Energy, but then what else could it be. He woke himself up and realized that Sara wasn¡¯t in the corner of the room anymore, while Joy slept she had moved into the kitchen. Joy didn¡¯t even get up; he immediately fell asleep again and visualized the room again. Now Sara was sitting in the kitchen, but when Joy got closer he noticed nothing was moving, everything was just a still picture, and more importantly when he tried to walk out of the house he realized that everything that was a further away was just like a projection on a paper as they had no depth. Joy tried to correct it by re-imagining his surroundings, but nothing changed. Initially it confused him, but he shortly after understood why it was happening. Objects that were too far were just left for the mind to imagine how it looked and it resulted in the lack of details like depth. Whenever Joy recreated his surroundings he just created whatever he had last seen, that¡¯s why nothing was moving. He realized this and took a different approach, instead of recreating from memory he tried to use the present. His eyes weren¡¯t the only thing that light was colliding with, his entire body was as well. He woke himself up once more and stayed laid down on the couch. He tried very hard to feel the light, but because it doesn¡¯t have weight it took him over an hour of trying. To reach that point he went through multiple stages of feeling more and more delicate things, but it all started with isolating his sense of touch. Finally when he felt the light he realized that it wasn¡¯t just bouncing around, but a slight amount of light would always pass through. He didn¡¯t even need to open his eyes as even while just laying on the couch he could see everything around him, even through the walls and the ground. He got super excited and immediately went back to his dream and sure enough the technique was working perfectly when he saw everything move in real time. He decided to leave the exploration of the technique for the next night, because he felt that taking too long of a nap would raise suspicions. He tried spending the rest of the day reading books, but he was so excited about the next night that the several hours before he went to bed felt like an eternity to him. But when the evening finally arrived Joy was happier than ever, he tucked himself into bed and immediately fell asleep. Back in the dream he looked around and to his surprise, he saw people in one of the houses on the street, out of curiosity he went there to see who it was and was surprised to even recognize one of them. When Kire visited him and Michael, 55 was with him and Joy could very clearly remember her face. That wasn¡¯t the only surprising thing in that house there was also a man tied down in the basement. He wanted to talk with Kire since he would probably know what was going on, but didn¡¯t really know how, Kire would probably have to be asleep so decided to wait till he went to bed. It took almost 2 hours, but when he did, Joy saw a speck of light fly towards Kire from the center of the earth. He could only see it for a split second, but believed it had to be Nidenel. Joy was able to replicate that scene in his head and the surroundings quickly changed to a still image of what they were around 10 seconds ago. Joy went up to the speck of light and noticed that aside from the light it was emitting the actual object was microscopically small. He couldn¡¯t really know just from the appearance what it was, but considering how fast it was going Joy assumed it had to just be light, or more precisely a photon. That was his assumption, but why was it so bright? Presumably it was a singular photon, but it was actually distinguishable, that¡¯s what confused Joy the most. It had to have some special property to be like that, but it couldn¡¯t be Energy if it came from Nidenel. Joy thought that the only viable property it could have was mass, but without energy it seemed like an impossible feat to achieve, but was way off. He had pretty much already done the hard part with the replicate world, all he had to do now was to use a tiny bit of Energy to attack a piece of himself smaller than an atom to a photon that was passing through him. It wasn¡¯t the first thing he tried, but he still got it pretty quickly. He would¡¯ve immediately tried it out on Kire, but if he did Sara would most definitely see it. The only direction in which Sara wouldn¡¯t be able to see it was downwards. He shot one down, but then realized that even though there was no Energy attached to it, he could control it like there was. Joy redirected the one he shot down right back up and into Kire¡¯s head. Without him even doing anything his surroundings changed into a hellscape. Everything around was burning and he saw something large in the distance, but before he could even get closer to see what it was everything disappeared and the hellscape turned into nothing. All he now saw was Kire floating in there with his eyes closed, Joy got closer and saw that Kire was sleeping so he woke him up. Their surroundings changed again, but this time the two of them were on top of a mountain. Joy tried to change the scenery, but nothing happened. He then asked Kire where they were, but Kire¡¯s answer made no sense, he said something about finally reaching the peak. Joy looked at him confused for a while and then reminded him it wasn''t real, which seemed to fix it. Now Kire was staring at Joy, but he was in awe, he even chuckled a bit. ¡°Nidenel is afraid of you.¡± Kire stated.
