Tears immediately after welled up. Xhemile started sobbing and then crying. After five minutes passed, she calmed down. ¡°Ok, Xhemile, it''s not so bad. Go inside the outpost maybe there is something useful.¡± She cheered herself up and approached the outpost entry under the unforgiving sun and heat of the desert. She opened her door and started to look around in the small room. There was some old furniture like a table, four chairs and a small stove. She then walked inside the tower, in there was a big magic circle engraved on the floor, but she ignored it for now and approached a small staircase which led to the first floor of the tower. There was a small corridor which led to another set of stairs connecting to the tower top and a door which led to small bedroom. She started to look around the small bedroom and saw a small bed as well as a cupboard filled with tattered rags. She then started to look under the bed because she saw something reflect the sunlight which came through a small window. She cautiously reached beneath the bed and found an old spear. During the entire hellish training, which involved also spear combat in which she gets totally stomped by the skilled Marwa, her other subjects looked full of pity at her. Nane even tried to stand up for Xhemile, but this action quickly backfired as she woke up 10 second later with a body full of bruises and no breath. After the training, her system clock displayed 12:00 am, the mudbricks were done drying on the how desert floor. She used these mudbricks to build the leather workshop which she placed a little bit away from the castle to prevent it from being destroyed when the castle expanded. A soon as they stood before the dungeon, Marwa took a step inside it, waited for a minute and then turned around. ¡°My lady, this dungeon is indeed dead or abandoned, normally as soon as you enter a dungeon you could not see out of the entrance and as soon as you entered you should feel a shift in the surrounding mana.¡±: Marwa said. Hesitantly Xhemile entered the abandoned dungeon. After being inside for a minute, she relaxed a bit and sighed as the system also didn''t say anything about this dungeon. ¡°You shouldn''t relax my lady. Monsters still can be found in dead dungeons and here we find, guaranteed, some desert dogs hiding from the scorching sun outside.¡±: Marwa suddenly said. Xhemile immediately tensed up again. The party slowly advanced through the entrance hall. They found a few triggered traps in the first room but no monsters or dogs. As they walked further inside the dungeon, they soon reached the second room. In this room were 6 desert dogs dozing on the cool floor. A few coordinated hand sings and they killed these dogs during their sleep. They collected the few crystals a few dogs had and moved towards the third room. Inside the third room two dogs were playing with each other, but as soon as they noticed the intruders they jumped towards them with deadly intent. The party was ready and dispatched these dogs also immediately. Inside the fourth room, nothing was there except an old rusty chest containing expired potions and a rusty iron sword. When they reached the fifth room, they noticed a strange pillar int the middle with glowing shard scattered around. ¡°This was a Rank 0 dungeon. It only had four rooms and only one floor. This should be the pillar which once held the dungeon core, but somebody or something destroyed it and left its shards scattered around.¡±: Marwa spoke suddenly. ¡°Marwa do you think those shards are useful for something?¡±: Xhemile asked. ¡°These shards are indeed very valuable which show whatever destroyed this dungeon wasn''t very intelligent as it left the most valuable things behind and didn''t collect any other loot, my lady.¡± ¡°Well, let''s collect everything which looks useful.¡±: Xhemile ordered her subjects. More expired potions and rusted equipment like shields, swords and an axe, but nothing of use. They loaded everything inside their backpacks and took the way home as the system clock showed 06:00 pm. During the walk back to the castle, nothing exciting happened except the occasional clash with a desert dog. Halfway towards the castle they saw a group of desert dogs fight a weird bug like thing which looked like an ant only sand colored. Xhemile analyzed it with the help of the system from a safe distance. They only attack when threatened or when the hive or queen is in danger. These ants are also useful as they shed their skin every few weeks. Their hard shell is light and good for making light armor and shields. They also have a stinger which can be used to craft weapons. These are the scavengers of the desert as they eat everything, they find which was once alive. Works well in an area where many desert dogs live, as these monsters often have rank fights which often turn out deadly for the weaker opponent.¡±: Njoud said. Xhemile looked a bit surprised that the quietest person explained that. She then turned to observe the fight. The desert dogs had the numerical advantage and tried to bite the ant in its weak joints where the exoskeleton was weaker. After a few seconds Xhemile noticed that the dogs were losing, despite its strong armor, the ant still was surprisingly agile. Soon the dogs were exhausted and the ant finished them of when it used its stinger a to stab them in their chests. After the fight ended the ant used its antennas to scoop the five dead dogs up and walked back towards its nest to show its prey to their queen. The scouting party also made its way back to their castle. After a grueling walk through the harsh sunlight, they finally reached Karomama castle at 07:30 pm. When the party entered the castle, they were greeted by a tired Neeth and Kira. They had worked tirelessly to craft the drinking bags and backpacks as well as some armor. They also proudly presented their new crafts and improved a few weapons. [Crude Backpack Description: This crudely made backpack from desert dog hide, can be used to carry more things during a walk. It is made with the thought in mind to still be very agile, even when filled with stones.] [Leather drinking bag Description: This drinking bag made of leather can store 2 liters of water. It gives little protection against slash and piece damage. It is specifically designed to be used in the desert and has an inner cloth to protect the skin of the wearer from the rough leather. Chapter 18: Forth night is approaching Chapter 18: Forth night is approaching Neeth guided Xhemile towards her room and opened the door presenting her custom armor. Xhemile¡¯s mouth opened at the sight of this armor. The armor looked incredible to say the least, despite its cheap materials. She immediately wanted to try it on. Neeth, smiling knowingly, helped her by this endeavor. The armor fitted her body proportions perfectly. The breast area was finely crafted and with small ornaments engraved. ¡°My lady, the armor is skintight to preserve the mobility advantage which would by loose armor prevent specific movements. There are also small areas which are unarmored to show off your char...¡±: Neeth cleared her throat. ¡°To prevent the body from overheating.¡±: She finished. The breast area was skintight and had a small cutout which showed her cleavage a bit more. It also was open at her sides to show her curves. The hip area was completely covered except the outermost hip areas. In between her legs a longer piece of leather specifically made that it only covers half of her thigs, the outer area was open. This piece of leather was loose and would sway in battles helping her preserve maximum mobility. The calves and the forearms are covered with ornamented bracelets made of leather. With this armor also came a pair of sturdy leather boots made for women from the shape of them. Now she looked like a warrior. According Neeths compliments she now also was dressed and looked like a tribe''s member of the Karomama clan. The armor also had a loose hood which can be armor and sun protection at the same time. After trying on the leather armor, Xhemile complained about the open bits of the armor and if they were really necessary. Neeth plausible explained, quote: ¡°This is specifically made so. If you face and enemy which is a human or goblin it would distract them as they would concentrate on your charms and not your spear.¡± Xhemile wasn''t completely convinced but she let it slide. When she turned around, she didn''t notice Neeths triumphant grin. After walking back to the main room and greeting her subjects which also all now are wearing their armor. Their armor was definitely made to fight. Their armors almost had no cutouts to ¡®prevent overheating¡¯ and Xhemile felt lightly cheated. They then all sat down at the big table in the middle of the hall. Together they started to eat, but Xhemile thought it was somehow a bit to quiet. ¡°Guys, night is almost there. Let''s eat enough so we can fight and protect our lands this night too. Also, everyone stays behind the barrier. Last time the alpha tried to lure me outside of it which didn''t work. Prepare yourselves!] [In one hour, all monsters will be buffed by 100% more aggressiveness and their stats increase by 100%.] Xhemile gathered all her subjects to discuss the battleplan. Which doesn''t differ from the previous nights very much. Kill desert dogs until the alpha comes into a specific range and if it came in range, they would use feints and slay the dogs differently so it can''t drag someone outside the protection barrier. The javelins should be saved to use against the alpha to distract and eventually injure it, they had no hope of getting rid of it at the moment, as it was way more powerful than they currently are. They then discussed some minor things like, how to protect her ladyship, which Xhemile interrupted saying that the barrier would last for another five nights.
