《You Are My Savior (English version)》


 CHAPTER 1 The Escape

    Rhianna is sitting on the bed. Waiting for the big hand of the clock to drop at 12. She ns to run away at midnight.  She wants to escape her uncle who is a Drug Lord.


    They were imprisoned in a ce not merely located. She doesn¡¯t want to leave her mother and sister but she has to do it for them. She has to save them from the hands of Don Ysmael.  She¡¯ll think about it afterward how to catch him, the important thing is that she saves her mother and sister first.


    When her father died when she was only eighteen years old. Her mother remarried Don Ysmael, and her mother did not know his true identity. When her mother learned of Don Ysmael¡¯s identity, they were imprisoned because Don Ysmael thinks that they mightin to the authorities.


    So she did nothing when his stepdad imprisoned them in a medium-sized house far away from civilization. She didn¡¯t know where she was going when she ran away. If she can escape or if the guards will catch her.


    She tied the concatenated fabric to the bed that she will use to go down to the window.  On that side of the window, the guards of the mansion could not see her because it was hidden.


    It¡¯s almost midnight. She went to the room of her mother and youngest sister Ylona. She opened the door because it wasn¡¯t locked. She went inside.


    She regard them because this was thest time she could see their faces.  Because she won¡¯t know when she will see them again. It is against her will to do it for leaving them but this is the only solution she knew to save them. She couldn¡¯t stop her tears from falling. It ran down her cheeks, and she immediately wiped it with the back of her palm.


    She left their room and slowly closed the door again. She went to her room and it was exactly midnight.  Hopefully, her ns work now, because this is the only way she can save her mother and sister. Nothing will happen if she cages herself up here in this house.


    She gets the tangled fabric and unfurls it in the window. She can¡¯t herself from swallowing. What if they catch her? What will Don Ysmael do to her? Come what may, the important is she tried to escape. Perhaps, they won¡¯t notice her because usually these hours the guards are sleeping.


    She walked towards the window and slowly slide downwards using the dimity that she unfurled. When her feet mourn to the ground she can¡¯t help herself from sighing. She feels nervous at those moments.


    She treads in the woods. The house surrounds by tall trees. It means the house is in the middle of the forest.


    When she noticed that no one sequence to her, she immediately ran. She runs through the forest and she doesn¡¯t know what is the end of this. She wishes that in the end, she will see a road or someone who can help her with her situation.


    She runs and runs. Even she gets wounds from the nts she sideswipe. It¡¯s nothing to her because the important thing is she escaped. She doesn¡¯t know how long she ran. Until she decided to rest. She feels thirsty because of prosy running. She sit in a tall tree and leaned her body there.


    After a few moments of rest, Rhianna decided to get up and continue running. She just run and run. The wounds caused by the nt she touched were painful. But she doesn¡¯t care. Until she saw an exit in the woods. But his body was weakening.


    When Rhianna reached the road. She suddenly felt tired, thirsty, and dizzy.  She saw the light of a car approaching where she was. She waved her hands so that whoever was driving the car would know her presence. When the car immediately stopped in front of him.


    The passenger came out and exposed in front of her is a man who was about six feet tall. Good physique. And with squinty eyes. Her gaze on the man was awakened as he spoke.


    ¡°Miss what happened to you?¡± the man asked Rhianna.


    He red at Rhianna from head to toe. Rhianna was disgusted by what he did so she averted her eyes from him.


    ¡°Come on, My co-agent will treat you.¡± the man invited her.


    She was still hesitant whether she would board or not. These days, we do not know whether a person can be trusted. Because even if you have known her/him for a long time, she/he will traitor you. Maybe he felt that she was hesitating.


    The man took something from his pants pocket. Purse, he took something there and gave it to her. An ID. She picked it up and from the lighting from the moonlight, Rhianna read the man¡¯s name.


    ¡°Leonardo Estralta Jr.¡±  Rhianna pronounced the man¡¯s name.  There is an Agent written below his name.


    ¡°Yes, I¡¯m sorry, my name was followed by my father¡¯s name.¡±  Leonardo exined.


    ¡°There¡¯s nothing wrong with your name.¡± Rhianna said.


    ¡°Get on board.¡± Leo said and got in the front of the car.


    She immediately got in the back of his car. He looked like Rhianna¡¯s driver.  He immediately started the vehicle.  He is an Agent so she can be trusted.  He can help Rhianna. He will help her to save her mother and sister.


    But what if he¡¯s not an Agent? What if he¡¯s just pretending?  She has no choice. If he would do Rhianna bad.  She could do nothing. Maybe that¡¯s all she is. Leo took something from his bag. He handed her alcohol and cotton.


    ¡°Put alcohol on your wounds to somehow stop the bleeding,¡± Leo said.


    Rhianna noticed her wounds with slight bleeding. She took Leo¡¯s offer of alcohol and cotton. She put alcohol on the cotton and then rubbed it on her wounds. Rhianna moaned as she felt pain. The man turned to her.


    ¡°You alright?¡± he asked Rhianna.


    ¡°Yes, I¡¯m fine. My wound just hurts because it¡¯s been exposed to alcohol. Do you have water there? I¡¯m thirsty.¡±  Rhianna said.


    She is very thirsty because of the long run. Leo took something from his bag, a tumbler with water. Boy Scout?  Always ready? He handed it to Rhianna. She took that.


    ¡°Thank you.¡± she replied. Maybe, Rhianna can trust him with what he did. What if he¡¯s just doing that to get her trust? Hays. Shee would think of that when they reached their destination.


    ¡°You look like you came from a long run in the woods. Why are you there?¡±  he asked Rhianna.


    ¡°Where are we going?¡±  She did not answer his question. She needs to know where they are going first.


    ¡°To myrades. We have a meeting. Urgent meeting.¡± he answered her. She better answered his question earlier.


    ¡°I ran away from my stepdad. He imprisoned me with my mother and sister in a house in the middle of the forest.¡± she answered.


    She remembered her mother and sister again. How would they react when they found out that she was no longer at home? She prefers not to say my decision because she doesn¡¯t want to involve them.


    ¡°I¡¯m ready to help you. I think you¡¯re telling the truth.¡± Leo offered.


    She doesn¡¯t have time to dupe. She wants to say it to Leo. However, she decided to keep quiet. In fact, She¡¯s indebted to him. This is not the right time for Rhianna to be angry because she needed him to save her mother and sister.


    ¡°We¡¯re close to Head Quarters.¡± he said.


    Rhianna saw in the distance a concrete house. It¡¯s just a simple house that you wouldn¡¯t think of as Head Quarters. They entered the gate. There were some vehicles already there, probably vehicles of hisrades.  When his car got inside thepound, he parked it not far away.  She immediately got out of the car. A man with a whiteplexion and good physique approached them. The man looked at Rhianna.


    ¡°Agent Leonardo Estralta Jr. Maybe you can introduce me to the woman who¡¯s with you?¡± the man said to Leo as he got out of the car. Leo did not answer the man¡¯s question but Leonardo approached her and took her hand.


    ¡°Where¡¯s Alexandra, Harold? Mypanion is wounded and she needs to be treated.¡± he asked the man whose name was Harold.


    Then, Harold red at her. He probably didn¡¯t notice earlier that she had wounds because the ce where Leonardo parked the car was dark. They walked inside of the Head Quarters as Harold followed.

    When they get inside.  She came across a man and a woman who was sitting on a long sofa. They stopped in front of them.


    ¡°Alexandra, can you treat her for a moment?¡± Leonardo asked the woman with curly hair. The woman stood up and looked at her.


    ¡°What happened to her, Leo?¡±  Alexandra asked.


    ¡°I¡¯ll tell everything that happened to herter. Right now, she needs to be treated.¡± Leonardo replied to her.  Alexandra nodded.


    ¡°Come on Miss.¡± Alexandra led her to a door and opened it.


    Rhianna was exposed to two beds that were ced side by side and a cab to her right. Alexandra guided her to the bed and she went to the cab. She took something there.

 CHAPTER 2 THE HELP

    Alexandra approached Rhianna and started applying medicine to her wounds. She winced because of the touch of medicine on her wounds. Now, she felt the pain caused by her wounds. She didn¡¯t feel it a while ago because her attention was focused on escaping her stepdad plus Leonardo¡¯s presence.


    Rhianna immediately dismissed that matter in her mind, she had to focus on what would she¡¯ll do to save her mother and sister. Then, Alexandra put a band-aid on therge wounds. She looked at Alexandra. She is beautiful and has a small face. Alexandra looked at Rhianna and smiled.


    ¡°There, your wounds are okay now. Do you want toe inside? I can¡¯t leave you here alone.¡±  Alexandra said while keeping the tools and medicine that she used on curing Rhianna¡¯s wounds.


    ¡°Is it okay? Am I not bothering you?¡± Rhianna ask.


    Before Alexandra could answer her question, there was a knock on the door and it opened. Rhianna saw the man sitting earlier on the sofa who knock and opened the door. Long hair in a ponytail.


    ¡°Alexandra, let¡¯s go. We will get started. Agent Jerald is already in the room. We are waiting for you.¡± he said and he nced at Rhianna for a moment then he closed the door. Alexandra got up and went to the cab to put the things used In treating Rhianna and then she went to the door.


    ¡°Come on, Agent Jerald might get angry.¡± Alexandra said and opened the door. Rhianna also got up and went to the door and they left the room together.


    They walked towards a room next to the sofa. Alexandra opened the door and exposed in front of them the seven people who were now looking at them. Rhianna swallowed. She couldn¡¯t help but shudder because of their stairs. She also saw Leonardo on the other side of the room who was also staring at them.


    ¡°Good morning, Agent Jerald.¡± Alexandra greeted the man who was standing next to them.


    She looked at the clock hanging on the wall. It¡¯s almost 1 am. Rhianna looked at the man Alexandra greeted. He already has white hair and wearing eyesses. He was probably in histe fifties.


    ¡°Can you introduce us to your coitant and why she has band-aids?¡± Agent Jerald asked Alexandra and gave her a censorious look. She couldn¡¯t help herself feel fear for Agent Jerald. The strength of his aura. Is he the leader? Alexandra was about to answer, but Leonardo suddenly stood up.


    ¡°I brought her here, Agent Jerald. I was driving on the road going here when I saw here out of the forest and I saw her wounded. So, I brought her here so that Alexandra will treat her wounds.¡± Leonardo exined. Agent Jerald nodded at what Leonardo said. She could feel that some of hisrades were looking at her.


    ¡°Sit here in front. Alexandra and you, miss.¡± he said and gestured to the empty seat in front of him. Alexandra and Rhianna immediately went there and sat down.


    ¡°Why are you in the forest? Are you running away?¡± Agent Jerald asked her.


    Maybe, Leonardo¡¯s help and Alexandra¡¯s treatment of her is enough basis for Rhianna to trust them. People like them can help her solve her problem.


    ¡°My stepdad imprisoned me with my mother and sister in an abandoned house in the middle of the forest. So I escaped asking for help to save them. Then, Leonardo saw me and he took me here to heal my wounds.¡± she answer.


    Rhianna didn¡¯t mention her stepdad¡¯s name. She needs time before saying it to them. Agent Jerald nodded as he stared into her eyes as if he was wondering if Rhianna was telling the truth or not. Rhianna is ready to stare at him just to let him know that she¡¯s telling the truth.


    ¡°I feel that you¡¯re telling the truth. We¡¯ll help you save your mother and sister.¡± he said.


    ¡°Thank you, Agent Jerald.¡± She said as tears welled up in her eyes. She couldn¡¯t help but cry, She¡¯s very thankful because they¡¯re a good person. What if someone else saw her? Maybe, something happened to her. Agent Jerald took something from his pants pocket, a handkerchief, and handed it to her.


    ¡°Wipe away your tears.¡± he said. She get it and immediately wiped the tears that streamed down her cheek.


    The meeting has already begun. They just talked about things to do when they are in disaster especially since they are Agents. And, how they can save themselves from disasters.


    They also discussed their next target who¡¯s a drug syndicate and they would have training the next day.


    The meeting ended at three o¡¯clock in the morning. Why they¡¯re having a meeting at this time? At least, it¡¯s better to have a quiet time like this. Rhianna was about to leave when Agent Jerald suddenly called her name. He is also called Leonardo.


    ¡°We have something to talk about, Agent Leonardo.¡± he said.


    She sat in the seat in front while Leonardo sat next to her.


    ¡°What¡¯s that, Agent Jerald?¡± Leonardo asked.

    ¡°He¡¯ll stay at my house, Agent.¡± Leonardo said. He nodded.


    ¡°Oh, all right. He¡¯ll stay with you, he¡¯ll be safe with you. You can leave now.¡± Agent Jerald replied.


    She and Leonardo stood up. Leonardo went to the door as she followed and then opened it. They found his colleagues outside the room talking. They were seven earlier when she entered the room.


    Four boys and three girls, but now they are only two and the third was Leonardo. All men. Maybe, the others have already gone home, including Alexandra. She couldn¡¯t even say goodbye to her or thank her for treating her wounds.


    ¡°I¡¯ll be going.¡±  Leonardo said goodbye to hisrades.


    ¡°Where will you stay?¡± Harold asked and looked at her for a moment.


    ¡°He¡¯ll stay at my house. That¡¯s what Agent Jerald and I talked about.¡± Leonardo said.


    ¡°Seriously Leonardo, you¡¯re going to live a woman in your house.¡± said a long-haired man who had called Alexandra and Rhianna earlier.


    ¡°You¡¯re crazy Brandon!¡± he said to Brandon and he nudge Brandon in his nk. Brandon mimics wincing. I just listening and just watching them joking when Leonardo suddenly looked back at her.


    ¡°Brandon, Harold. She¡¯s Rhianna. Rhianna, Brandon, and Harold.¡±  he introduced Rhianna to them.


    ¡°Nice to meet you.¡± Harold said and held out his hand for her. She epted it. He smiled at her while squeezing her hand. She immediately withdrew her hand from him.


    ¡°I¡¯m also d to meet you, Rhianna.¡± Brandon said. He also held his hand for her and Rhianna dly epted it, but unlike Harold, he only shook her hand for a moment.


    She heard the door open in the room where they held a meeting, no. Them, because she was also in that meeting.  She looked at that and Agent Jerald came out of the room. He approached them.


    ¡°Come on. You need to go home so that Rhianna can rest as well.¡± he said and went out the door of the Head Quarters first.


    They followed Agent Jerald going out of Head Quarters. After they left, they waited for Harold to close the door of Head Quarters. They walked to their respective cars. Harold has a ck car, while Brandon has a white car.  Agent Jerald got into his ck van.


    ¡°Get on board.¡± Leonardo calls her. She turned her gaze to him and immediately walked toward his car.  She sat in the passenger¡¯s seat. He also took the driver¡¯s seat. They went out of the gate and the guard closed it.


    ¡°How are you?¡±  Leonardo asked Rhianna as they made their way back, to his home.


    ¡°I¡¯m fine. Thank you for saving me.¡± She said with sincerity and she turned to him. But his eyes were on the road and not even bothering to look back at her. I just looked back at the road.


    ¡°Nothing. It¡¯s my job to save a person. It¡¯s natural for me to save the person in danger.¡± he said with his eyes still focused on the road. He was right, but she¡¯s still grateful that he saved her.


    ¡°I want to be part of your group.¡± he turned his gaze to her.


    She won¡¯t know where she got the courage to say those words to him. She just wants to be part of their group and she will catch Don Ysmael herself.

 CHAPTER 3 IN ONE ROOF

    ¡°You¡¯re not allowed, our members must have the capability to handle a gun. And she/he will undergo thorough training.¡± Leonardo contrary.


    What if she doesn¡¯t know how to hold a weapon or a gun? It will learn. She prefer herself to keep quiet so they wouldn¡¯t end up arguing when she insisted on what she wanted.


    The silence inside the car predominates. She decided to stick her eyes out of the window. The surroundings were still dark, she could hear the wind blowing in the trees. She can¡¯t even remember where he found her earlier. She decided to close her eyes to sleep.


    A shake of her shoulder woke her up. She opened her eyes. Rhianna saw Leonardo who was responsible for waking her up.


    ¡°We are here, at my house.¡±  he said and averted his face away from her.


    He got out of the car and walked to the house. Rhianna decided to get out of the car and followed him to his house.  When she got closer to him, he put the key in the doorknob and opened it. He went inside and she followed him.


    The house is beautiful. It¡¯s clean, bungalow style. There is a living room, two bedrooms on the side, a door across which is probably CR, and at the end is the kitchen. Simply, you won¡¯t think thatw enforcement was living here. He went to a door and opened it.


    ¡°You will sleep here for the next few days and now if you have any ns to sleep.¡± he said then lit the room and went to the kitchen.


    She went inside the room. And I roamed her eyes at the lump of it.  There is a bed in the middle whose bed cover is ck. To her left is a cab. In one corner was a door that was probably a bathroom. She opened the cab and exposed to her sight the men¡¯s garments. It means He will let her use his room.


    ¡°The food is ready, let¡¯s eat first before we go to sleep.¡±


    She turned to the nascency of the voice and saw Leonardo outside the room looking at her.


    ¡°Isn¡¯t this your room? Why would you let me use it? I will use the other room. It¡¯s okay even if I don¡¯t have a bed, even if it¡¯s just a mat. The important thing is that I have something to sleep on.¡± She told him.


    ¡°You¡¯re sleeping here and I will sleep in the other room. There¡¯s a double-deck there so don¡¯t worry. Come on, let¡¯s eat.¡± he said and turned his back on her.

    She reached the kitchen and saw him busy putting the te on the table. She went there and helped him. He looked at her when their eyes met, and Rhianna smiled at him.


    ¡°Thank you.¡± she said, that was the only word that came out of her mouth and nothing else.


    They finished eating and Rhianna offered to wash the dishes. Leonardo bid goodbye to rest. She move fast to finish what she was doing so that she could rest as well. After Rhianna finish washing the tes, she stacked them in the container.


    She immediately went to her room.  When she was near her room, she couldn¡¯t help to nce at the door next to her room that would be Leonardo¡¯s room for the uing days. She wanted to knock on the door and ask him if he was okay in his room now.


    Rhianna decided not to pursue what she was nning and she entered her room. She closed the door when she entered. She immediatelyy down on the soft bed. When her back feel the soft mattress, she felt tired of everything that had happened today. She closed her eyes and in a few minutes, she waspletely asleep.


    Rhianna woke up because of the sunlight hitting her face. She opened her eyes and looked out the window where the sunlight wasing from.  The window was open, she couldn¡¯t close itst night because he was so tired. Rhianna stood up and went to the window to close it.


    The sunshine is high. She noticed the wall clock on the side of the window.  It¡¯s almost ten in the morning. She immediately left his room and went to the opposite room. She turned the doorknob and ventured to open it. She opened the door and she pushed it inside. No one is in the room. Where is Leonardo?


    ¡°Do you need anything?¡± a baritone voice says behind her. Rhianna turned around and as she turned around, her face hit Leonardo¡¯s wide and hard chest.


    ¡°Ouch!¡± Rhianna moaned while holding her forehead which was hurting from the collision. Leonardo passed Rhianna and entered the room.


    ¡°We¡¯ll buy you clothes. There¡¯s food in the kitchen, eat first.¡± he said and closed the door.


    She immediately went to the kitchen and saw something covered. She opened it. She saw an omelet. She sat down in the chair and started eating.  The omelet is delicious, he is not only an Agent, but he is also a Chef.


    Rhianna smiled at the thought. Her weakness is the man who is good at cooking. She finished what she was eating right away. When she finished that, she immediately went to the living room to wait for him. She saw him approaching where she was and carrying a dress.


    ¡°Wear that, it looks like you¡¯re the same body size.¡± he said and handed her the dress.


    The dress is a bit short but the sleeves are long. That¡¯s good because it will cover her wounds. Why does he have such women¡¯s clothes here in his house? Couldn¡¯t his girlfriend own this dress?


    ¡°That dress belongs to my sister. She visited herest month. She left it here.¡± Leonardo said when he noticed that Rhianna was staring at the dress he gave to her.


    ¡°All right, I¡¯ll just take a shower and get dressed.¡±


    Rhianna went to the bedroom and entered the CR to take a bath. She felt the watering out of the shower.  The water flowing through his body was good. After taking a bath, she put on the dress given by Leonardo. The dress was just right for her.


    She looked at her reflection in the mirror. Rhianna immediatelybed her hair. When she was satisfied with her appearance, she left the room and went to the living room. Leonardo waited patiently in the living room.  When he saw Rhianna, he immediately stood up.


    ¡°Let¡¯s go.¡± he said sparingly and walked out of the house as she followed him.


    When they got to his car, she immediately got in the passenger¡¯s seat and Leonardo was in the driver¡¯s seat. They had already crossed the road to town, the opposite of what they had passedst night.


    ¡°Leonardo, are you alone in your house?¡± Rhianna asked him. At least, even a brother or a sister would have been with him.


    ¡°Just call me Leo, I don¡¯t want to mention my full name. Yes, I¡¯m alone, since I became an agent, I¡¯ve been separated from my parents.¡± he states. She nodded in agreement.


    Rhianna didn¡¯t say another word. She could already see from her seat the crowd, perhaps that was the town.  They stop in front of a store. A clothes store based on what she sees inside.  She got out of the car.


    Rhianna followed Leonardo into the store. When they entered, she was exposed to a row of clothes.  Leo went to a row of women¡¯s clothing. He motioned for Rhianna toe over, so she immediately approached him.


    ¡°You buy the clothes you want and I¡¯ll pay.¡± he said.


    Rhianna looked for clothes that could be worn for home and for travel. She looked at Leo who was behind her and standing. She shifted position and went to the section for shorts and pants. She turned to look at Leo again but he was no longer behind her. She roamed her gaze inside the sre. Rhianna saw him talking to a woman.  Based on the woman¡¯s attire, she was probably the saledy of the store.


    She suddenly felt annoyed. She took her eyes off them and distracted herself from finding shorts and pants.  Rhianna was choosing when suddenly someone approached her.


    ¡°Hello Miss, may I know your name?¡± asked the man in front of Rhianna. He is tall and has tan skin. His eyebrows are thick. He held out his hand to Rhianna.


    ¡°Do you need anything from my girlfriend?¡± said a baritone voice behind her. Rhianna didn¡¯t have to look back at who it is. Leo, why did he tell the man that his girlfriend is Rhianna?

 CHAPTER 4 TRANSACTION OF DRUGS

    ¡°I¡¯m sorry, I thought she didn¡¯t have a boyfriend. I¡¯m leaving.¡± he said and left in front of Rhianna. She turned to look at Leonardo who was pissed with his arms folded.


    ¡°You shouldn¡¯t have professed that to him, the man was embarrassed. He was just being nice to me and he wants to know me.¡± Rhianna replied.  Of course, what¡¯s wrong if she is acquainted with a man. He looked at her from looking at the man leaving the store.


    ¡°You run away, right? You should be careful with the people you talk to and socialize with. You shouldn¡¯t just trust them easily.¡± he answered seriously.


    Rhianna was stunned. He is right. Why Rhianna didn¡¯t think of that? She shouldn¡¯t be talking to anyone. Leo took in her hand the basket she was holding that¡¯s containing her purchases.


    ¡°Let¡¯s pay for it. So we can leave. I¡¯m going to Head Quarters. We¡¯ll do some training.¡± he said and walked towards the Counter. Rhianna followed Leo.


    ¡°Can Ie with you?¡± she asked him.


    He turned to Rhianna and looked back in the front. They were lined up now, about five more people before they reached the front. Leo didn¡¯t answer Rhianna. Why is he so rude?


    Earlier, he did not want Rhianna to be a member of their organization. Now, as if he did not want Rhianna to go to Head Quarters for his training.  Rhianna left the queue and waited for Leo on the side. He was in the front, he put the basket on the counter and the Cashier scanned it.


    After the cashier scanned the items, Leo immediately paid for it. The Cashier handed over Rhianna¡¯s purchase which Leo paid for. He turned around and went to where Rhianna was. He passed her. That is, Rhianna should have followed him. They exited the store and headed for his car parked in the parking lot.


    He opened the back of the car and ced the purchases there. How can she pay Leo? Nor is it a joke that he paid for his purchases. Rhianna entered the passenger¡¯s seat while Leo was in the driver¡¯s seat.


    ¡°How can I pay for the clothes you bought for me?¡± she asked Leo.

Brandon, Faith, and Alexandra sat in the chair at the table facing Carlo Sa?iego while Rhianna is on one side and listening to them talk.


    ¡°Why would I say that? I don¡¯t want to hurt my family.¡± he said firmly. Brandon stood up and approached Carlo.


    ¡°If you unite with us. Tell us where your wife and children are and we will rescue them. We will make sure that they will be safe in our care.¡± Brandon reassuringly said.

    The two men were taken out of the room as Brandon and Faith led them.  We were left here in the room with Alexandra.

    ¡°Yes. He¡¯s going to dicker Dianne.¡± Leo said as he headed to where Rhianna was. Their eyes met. She immediately looked down because she could not meet his gaze.

    They are already crossing the road towards Sebado Street. Alexandra was behind them in her ck car. She looked out the window, based on the sunlight, it was around eleven o¡¯clock in the morning.


    She can only hear the gusts of wind.  No one wanted to break the silence. She has nothing important to say or ask.  They also traveled for a few hours.


    From her seat, she saw the boundary of San Sebado. Vast countryside opened up for them. Their flight took a few minutes and was reced by houses.


    Houses that are simple in size and shacks that the people living in San Sebado know that they are in poverty.  They passed children who have been scolded by their mothers.


    They passed a corner on the left. On the second corner is Carlo Sa?iego¡¯s house. Farm again, they passed it until they reached the second corner. Leo turned the car towards it. They stopped at the second house on the right, ording to Carlo Sa?iego.


    Leo and Rhianna got out of the car, she saw Alexandra in the distance approaching them. Leo knocked on the door of the house. He knocked twice before it opened. They met a woman who she think was in herte thirties.  She looked at them from head to toe.  The woman was about to close the door but Leo stopped her immediately.


    ¡°My husband isn¡¯t here. You can leave now. He didn¡¯te home yesterday.¡± she exined. It seems that she knows what her husband¡¯s doing.


    ¡°We caught your husband and maybe now he¡¯s in the cell and incarcerated.¡± Leo stated.


    Suddenly the Lady¡¯s eyes watered.  She cried because of what had happened to her husband. They just let her cry until she ceases.


    ¡°What I¡¯m gonna do now? We have children. Maybe we¡¯ll be killed if his boss knew what happen to my husband.¡± she asks them with fear in his eyes.


    ¡°We¡¯re here to help you Mrs. Sa?iego, and we promised to your husband that we wouldn¡¯t leave you.¡±  Leonardo replied.

    ¡°What?! Carlo Sa?iego got caught?! Useless people!¡± he shouted at his men.


    ¡°We didn¡¯t know that they would know about our transaction, Boss. Agent Jerald overheard the transaction because someone allegedly stamped on him.¡± Bricks stated.


    He threw the ss he was holding on the floor in a fit of rage. It was torn to pieces on the floor. Gael immediately took a cleaner and cleaned it.

    Another one that gives him a headache is Rhianna. She escaped without being noticed by the guards. He needs to find her as soon as possible, lest she will be the cause of his downfall.

 CHAPTER 9 THE REHEARSAL

    Then, they take Mrs. Sa?iego to a safe ce where only agents know. They immediately returned to Head Quarters for training.  It was three o¡¯clock in the afternoon when they arrived.


    When she got out of the car, Leo and Rhianna immediately went to the back of the Head Quarters where the training was being held. Hanging in the middle is a piece of paper with a person drawn on it. Training has not yet begun.


    ¡°Let¡¯s sit there with Faith.¡± Alexandra invited her and took her hand to the side where Faith was sitting. She left Leo talking to Harold. They sat in the vacant chair next to Faith. Faith turned to Rhianna. She smiled at her.


    ¡°You¡¯re the girl who brought Leo here in Head Quarters that was wounded aren¡¯t you?¡± she asked her.


    ¡°Yes, Agent. That¡¯s me.¡± she spoke.


    ¡°Too formal. Just call me Faith. What¡¯s your name?¡± She held out her hand to her and she epted it.


    ¡°Rhianna, Rhianna Evangelista.¡± she introduced herself.


    ¡°Wait, I¡¯m gonna pee. I¡¯m going to CR while the training has not yet started.¡±  Alexandra adieu. They nodded at her. She walked towards the Head Quarters.


    Faith was busy with her cellphone so she didn¡¯t disturb her. She turned her attention to Leo and Harold talking.  They seem to be serious about their talk. Brandon was next to them and just listening. Brandon turned his gaze to where she was.


    He walked closer to Rhianna. She saw Leo look at Brandon but he turned his gaze back to Harold. She turns her attention to Brandon.  He¡¯s handsome, it suits his long hair to him. Visibility of posture elegance. He sat next to her.


    As soon as he sat down, Agent Jerald arrived with Alexandra and a man with brown hair. Suddenly, her co-member that was next to her stood up and saluted Agent Jerald. She stand up as well and saluted Agent Jerald.


    ¡°Good afternoon, Agent Jerald!¡±  They said simultaneously.


    ¡°Good afternoon too. I want to let you know that I will take a break from the service. And my recement will be Leonardo Estralta Jr. He will be your temporary leader.¡± he said. Rhianna heard loud apuse. They greeted Leonardo.


    ¡°I heard someone wants to be a member of our organization?¡± Agent Jerald asked. He suddenly looked at her and smiled. She also smiled back at him.


    ¡°Yes, Agent. Rhianna wants to be a member of our organization.¡±  Leonardo said and looked at her.  Those gazes that enkindle her. What are you doing to me, Leonardo Estralta Jr.?


    ¡°Leo told me, you¡¯re good at fighting. So I want to see it by myself if it¡¯s true. Leo will teach you how to do when the opponent is there. The other members won¡¯t train now.¡± Agent Jeraldmanded. She looked at Leo and he walked over to her.

    ¡°You can do it, Rhianna!¡± Brandon said to her. She smiled at him. They headed to the center.


    ¡°Start now!¡± Agent Jerald shouted.


    Leo¡¯s punch hit Rhianna immediately, but she avoided it quickly. She tried to punch Leo in the face but he blocked it using one hand. It hurt when her fist hit his arms. She kicked him in the side.  But he overcame that. Ouch! It hurts when fist punched his hand. She kicked him again but he blocked it again.  Because was busy blocking her kick using his arms. She immediately punches him in the face but he got it and put it behind her and because of what he did he grabbed her another hand and put it behind her. He almost hugged her. Leo whispered to her.


    ¡°You still need to train hard to be a full member of the organization.¡± he said. The scent of his breath. Why does it seem so pleasant to hear his voice in the ears?


    ¡°That¡¯s enough for now! Maybe you¡¯ll get hurt. What time is it and we still have a meeting.¡± Agent Jerald shouted.


    Leo has already removed its grip on her hands. He went to the table and fetched water. He drank first before he handed it to her.


    She picked it up and stared at the ss. My body was a bit sore because of the training that we did. His body was hard as rock so her muscles hurt.

    He did not speak anymore. He opened the efficascent oil and rubbed it on her foot. She winced in pain. But, it feels good what he does. She couldn¡¯t help but smile.


    She looked at him while massaging her foot. He suddenly lifted his face. Their eyes met. Her heart was beating fast again. She immediately looked down. She could not meet his gaze any longer.

 CHAPTER 10 JEALOUS

    Leo drives the car to Head Quarters with Rhianna. He looked at her as she stared out the window.


    ¡°How are you feeling?¡± he asked her.  He was so worried about herst night. He¡¯s too serious in the fight. He didn¡¯t notice that she will pain.


    She turned to him. That look on her face. She looks fascinating. Suddenly his chest throbbed.

    He turned his attention back to the road. Rhianna will be in training for a week before they do a n to save her sister and mother. However, he¡¯s still here beside her and ready to save her.

    ¡°I have something to say.¡± she said. He turned to her.

    Leo felt jealous. He knew when a man likes a woman. He feels like Brandon likes Rhianna.

 CHAPTER 11 Leo鈥檚 Anger

    ¡°Leo, are you going to teach me?¡±  Rhianna asked Leo when she get close to him.


    When she came out of Head Quarters,  met Brandon and he told her that Leo was supposed to teach her. Leo turned to her then looked back at the gun he was holding and ced it back on the table.


    ¡°I¡¯ll teach you next time.¡± he said and he turned to Head Quarters.


    She was hurt by what he said. Is it because she didn¡¯t audie to him that why he doesn¡¯t want to teach her now? She did not realize that her tears were already flowing. She rubbed it with her palm. She doesn¡¯t want to see him like this. She will not show him that she¡¯s weak.

    That voice, she knew the voice owned by Carm. She turned and saw Alexandra, Harold, Carm, and Leo approaching her. She left where she is. She¡¯ll go to Head Quarters and stay there. When she was about to passable with them. Alexandra took her hand.


    ¡°Where are you going?¡± she asked her.  Rhianna looked at her.


    ¡°Hm, I¡¯m going to CR again. I¡¯m peeing again.¡± She reasoned. She let go of her hand.


    ¡°Leo, I miss you so much. We haven¡¯t seen each other for years.¡± She even heard Carm saying that to Leo. She can¡¯t help but get pissed! She¡¯s annoyed because Leo seems to like what Carm says.


    She had already walked to Head Quarters. When she entered, she found Brandon sitting on the sofa. He looked at her.


    ¡°Can I step aside?¡± she asked when she get closer to him.


    ¡°Sure. Why don¡¯t you practice?¡± he asked and then he moved to give her some space. She sat down next to him.

 CHAPTER 12 THE TRACING

    A week of training passed and Rhianna learned how to handle a gun.  Leo taught her for a week. Brandon and Leo are fine, too. They decided not to let Agent Jerald know what had happened.


    Leo and Rhianna are on their way home from training at Head Quarters.   They were traveling back home when she saw a car following them. She was suddenly nervous.


    ¡°Leo, do you notice the car following us?¡± she asked him. He turned to her.

    ¡°What are we going to do now Leo?¡± she asked. She was nervous about what might happen. Could it be his uncle¡¯s tentacle? Maybe uncle men found her?


    ¡°Please Calm down Rhianna. Nothing bad will happen to you. I will save you.¡± he said reassuringly and looked at her.


    That¡¯s how fast his heart beats when he stares at her. She remembers telling her that he was jealous of Brandon. When they arrived home they didn¡¯t talk about that.


    They reached the house and Leo entered the vehicle inside thepound. They desist. Suddenly, she heard a series of shootings that were hitting the vehicle.


    ¡°Sit down!¡± hemanded. She immediately obeyed hismand. She bent down to protect herself.


    They had nothing against those guys who were shooting them in the car because they were inside the car. And it looks like he¡¯s not the only one firing a gun. She heard a series of gunshots again. Leo took the gun to the side and looked out the window and fired the gun.


    She covered her ears with his hands. She was deafened by the force of the exchange of gunfire hitting the car.  Looks like her life ends here. She hopes not. Her mother and sister still need her.


    She heard again a series of shooting from a distance. She looked at Leo who was now out of the car. She saw he had something right on his shoulder.  The exchange of gunfire stopped and the surroundings became quiet.


    She looked outside to where Leo was.  She got out of the car and saw Leo¡¯srades approaching him. Carm ran over him.


    ¡°Oh my gosh! Your right shoulder was bleeding, Leo.¡±  Carm said with a look of confusion on her face. She won¡¯t know why she¡¯s disgusted with what she saw. Brandon and Harold were approaching where she was.  They weren¡¯t with Alexandra, maybe she¡¯s in Head Quarters.


    ¡°Are you okay, Leo? You¡¯re almost there.¡± Harold said worriedly. Brandon approached her.


    ¡°Are you alright?¡± he asked Rhianna.  She just nodded. She saw out of the corner of my eyes that Leo was looking in their direction.


    ¡°Where are the opponents?¡± he asked.


    ¡°They escaped, we couldn¡¯t follow them. But the important now is the two of you are okay and safe.¡±  he told her and his face shows concern.


    They bid farewell and they immediately went inside the house.  Carm insisted on healing Leo¡¯s wound. But, Leo insisted that he could heal his wound.


    She¡¯s now in her room and thinking of Leo. She had to treat him, those were two wounds caused by the gun so he had to be treated, even if he could treat himself, it¡¯s different when someone else was treating him.


    She get out of her room and went to his room. She turned the doorknob and it didn¡¯t close. She pushed the door inward. Leo stopped what he was doing when he saw her standing outside the door.


    ¡°Go back to your room, I can handle this.¡± he said to Rhianna. She approached him and sat on the bed. She took the cotton in his hand and started cleaning his gunshot wounds.  He did not protest. He was just staring at her. She remembers when he massage her foot, she just returned what he¡¯s done to her.


    ¡°Thanks for rescuing me. I don¡¯t know those guys. Probably my uncle¡¯s man.¡± she said.


    ¡°We have to leave here tonight. We are no longer safe in this house. We will be traceable if we stay here.¡± he said.


    She looked at him and their eyes met.  His eyes moved to her lips. She suddenly felt a rapid throbbing of her chest. He slowly brought his face closer to hers.


    The next thing she knew, their lips applied. At first, it was gentle but eventually, his kisses became passionate. She felt excited at what he did. I reciprocated his kisses. He held my cheeks.

    After treating his wounds she went to her room and picked up the first aid kit that she used in treating his gunshot wounds. They are no longer safe in this ce. After she ced the first aid kit in the cab she go back to Leo¡¯s room. He is already asleep.


    She packed their things. Because that¡¯s what they talked about earlier before she left his room. She couldn¡¯t help but stare at his face, at his lips that kissed her.  CHAPTER 13 Their Transition

    After Rhianna washed the dishes, she immediately went out of the kitchen.  Leo is no longer in the house. She went outside the house and locked the door. She saw Leo putting their belongings in the car.

    ¡°Ah. Thank you Rhianna for taking care of Leo.¡± she said. Carm gave her a sweet smile. But she feels like that smile is just a veneer.


    ¡°Oh wait. Let¡¯s go! Let¡¯s go to the apartment where you¡¯re staying. It¡¯s just in the second house.¡± Carm said gleefully.


    ¡°Okay.¡± Leo replied.


    Leo went to the carpartment. He took their stuff inside. When he got that, they immediately walked to the apartment. They¡¯ll pass two houses before they reached the apartment.


    The apartment is miniature and simple. They went inside the apartment and Leo put the things in the living room.

    Rhianna picked up her stuff on the floor near the door. And she started taking out her clothes in the big bag. However, she could not concentrate on what she was doing. Her mind was upied with what happened earlier. Carm kisses Leo.

 CHAPTER 14 TOLERATION

    A noise woke her up. Rhianna opened her eyes and followed where that noise wasing from. Her feet carried her to the kitchen. She saw Carm preparing food. Carm looked at her and gave her a sweet smile.

    ¡°I don¡¯t need your help, Rhianna.¡± she said firmly and then went to the stove to cook. She couldn¡¯t help but belittle herself. Carm suit for Leo.


    ¡°You¡¯re awake Rhianna.¡± Leo said while approaching her. She looked up at him. He is done bathing.  He was very handsome wearing a in white t-shirt and gray shorts. She nodded.


    ¡°Where are you going?¡± Rhianna asked him.


    ¡°We¡¯ll go shopping. We will buy food while you are staying here.¡± Carm said who was standing now and facing her. She felt resentful. Why would Carm buy their food?

    ¡°Of course. I¡¯ll just wait for you.¡± she said but she was hurting.

    After they ate, she offered to wash the tes. She was left behind because Leo and Carm went out shopping.  After she washed, she immediately went to the CR to take a bath.

 CHAPTER 16 THE RESCUE

    They are ready for what they will do to save Rhianna¡¯s sister and mother.  They¡¯re here at Head Quarters right now and talking about how to do it.  After talking about everything, she got in Leo¡¯s car. They made their way to the mansion.


    They used three cars. Every car has a partner. Along the way, she couldn¡¯t help but feels nervous. Will their salvation be sessful? Hope no one gets hurt.

    They reached the road where Leo saw Rhianna wounded and asking for help.  They go down and made their way into the woods. Brandon, Carm, and Faith were already in the forest.     ¡°Yes, Ma. They¡¯re okay. Trust them, they can handle it.¡± She was sure of it. But in those moments she was worried. She hopes they are okay.

    ¡°I know Ysmael is making a way now to chase you, Rhianna. But, if you want to be part of their group  I will support you, Rhianna. Just be careful always.¡± her mother preached.


    ¡°Yes, Ma. I¡¯ll be careful.¡± she answers.


    Rhianna knows she doesn¡¯t like what she¡¯s doing. But she¡¯s already here, they will trap Don Ysmael in just a few steps. She will not leave her group until they have fulfilled their mission.  And she will never leave Leo. And, she knew he was there for her and he won¡¯t leave Rhianna. She was so bitten by the thought of that.

 CHAPTER 17 TEMPTATION

    They reached Head Quarters and Alexandra and Carm immediately got out of the car. They went to the backseat where Brandon and Leo were on board. They headed to Head Quarters while Alexandra led Brandon while Carm led Leo.  They went inside.


    Rhianna got out of the car. Her mother and her sister Ylona also came out of the backseat. They went inside the Head Quarters with Faith and Harold.  When they got inside, she sit her Mama and Ylona on the sofa. Leo and Brandon were probably in the room with Carm and Alexandra to heal their wound.


    ¡°Leo¡¯s wounds were severe. Do you think Alexandra can heal him?¡± Faith asked Harold. They stood on the side by the window and looked at each other.


    ¡°She can do it. Alexandra is good in healing.¡± Harold said and looked at Rhianna and Faith looked at her too.


    ¡°I¡¯m sorry for what happened. Because we saved Mama and Ylona, ??Brandon and Leo get wounded.¡± she said and sadness was visible on her face. She feels guilty for what had happened to Leo and Brandon. If Rhianna hadn¡¯t entered their lives, maybe, they are okay now.


    ¡°It¡¯s not your fault Rhianna. We just did the right thing. Everything will be fine, okay. Don¡¯t mind it.¡± Faith said and smiled at her, she also smiled back.


    A few momentster, Carm and Alexandra came out of the room, the room where Alexandra had treated Rhianna. Carm looked at her as if ming her for what had happened.  Faith and Harold approached.


    ¡°How are they?¡±  Harold asked Alexandra.


    ¡°They¡¯re fine. I going to town with Carm to buy medicine so that their wounds heal faster.¡± Alexandra said and invited Carm toe out of Head Quarters.


    ¡°I¡¯ll be with you.¡± Harold offers and immediately went outside as Alexandra and Carm followed.


    Faith and Rhianna entered the room.  When they finally entered, they saw Leo and Brandon who were lying on the bed. Leo¡¯s left arm was tied with a cloth to support the wound. Faith¡¯s cellphone suddenly rang. She answered that and turned up the loudspeaker.


    ¡°Harold, why?¡± she asked on the other line.


    ¡°You need to get out of there. Go home o go to a safe ce. You might be found there.¡± he stated.


    ¡°All right. We will do that.¡± Faith said and immediately dropped the call.  Brandon and Leo woke up because of the call. Faith went to the side of the bed where Brandon was and help him to stand up.


    ¡°We need to get out of here. Hurry up!¡± Leo said and immediately stood up. He winced because of the pain he felt when he force himself to stand up.


    ¡°Don¡¯t merely stand. Your wounds are fresh.¡± she reminds him.


    She immediately approached him and supported him. Their eyes met. But she immediately averted her gaze to the door and they walked out of the room as she led him. While Faith and Brandon are in their back following them. Her mother and Ylona stood up when they saw them exiting the room.


    ¡°Why?¡± her mother asked worriedly.


    ¡°We have to get out of here, Mom.¡± she exined. Her mother nodded and took Ylona¡¯s hand and they started walking toward the exit.


    They immediately left Head Quarters.  Ylona got into the car. When they finally left the Head Quarters. Her mother opened the passenger seat of the car for Leo to enter. While her mother and Ylona are in the backseat.


    When Leo got inside the passenger¡¯s seat, Rhianna turned around to go to the driver¡¯s seat. Faith car together with Brandon came out first and they followed their car. They were on the right road while Faith¡¯s car is on the left road.


    ¡°How are you feeling?¡± she asked Leo. She nced at him.


    ¡°I¡¯m fine don¡¯t worry about me.¡± he said as his gaze focused on the road.


    They traveled the road to the apartment. She already knew the road to the apartment. When they reached the apartment, she got out of the car and went to the passenger¡¯s seat to support Leo.  Her mother and Ylona also came out of the backseat.


    She walked down the road to the apartment while Leo was leading her.  Her mother and Ylona just followed them. When they entered the apartment, she immediately went to Leo¡¯s room. She made him sit on the bed. She was about to leave when he pulled Rhianna. She sat on hisp.


    ¡°Leo. Why?¡± she asked him and feel uneasiness sitting on hisp. He wrapped his arms around her waist.


    ¡°Can you stay? Please?¡± Leo begged her. She nodded in response. She just felt his lips touch her neck. She feel like she was electrified by his kiss.


    ¡°Leo.¡± she moaned. Until his lips traveled over her shoulder. She moaned again. Leo was shocked by her reaction. He stopped what he was doing for a while.


    ¡°Your mother and sister are safe now. We just have to finish with Don Ysmael.¡± he said. Why is he saying those things to her? She let him hug her. Even just now.


    Rhianna left the room and left Leo asleep. Later, she will clean his wound. She went to the kitchen and was surprised to see her mother cooking.


    ¡°Mom. You shouldn¡¯t be doing that.¡± she said and immediately approached her.


    ¡°Leave me to do this, Rhianna. I want to serve you, you, and Leo in gratitude for saving us.¡± she said and looked at her from the cook. Her mother smiled at her. She misses her mother. It¡¯s more than three weeks also without seeing them. She sat in the chair at the table.

    ¡°It¡¯s delicious,¡± he said.


    ¡°Mom cooked it as a thanksgiving for saving them. Thank you, Leo, thank you for saving my mother and sister. Of course thank you to our group, too.¡±  she said. He ced the bowl on the bedside table and stared at her.


    ¡°Like I said we¡¯ll save your mother and sister. Right? I¡¯m just fulfilled my promise to you.¡± he said as he stared at her intently. That¡¯s where Rhianna¡¯s tears flowed because Leo never left her. He was always there for her no matter what happen and she was very grateful for that.


    ¡°Shh. Don¡¯t cry,¡± he said while wiping the tears that streamed down her cheeks.


    ¡°I don¡¯t know what to do without you, Leo. I¡¯m really worried about you and Brandon.¡± she said while still shedding her tears.

    After she healed his wound she looked at him. He is already asleep. She got up and went to the kitchen to eat. She found her mother who was already eating.

    She just nodded in agreement. She sat on the chair and spooned rice and took the dish that was served. When she started to eat her mother spoke.


    ¡°You like Leo. Am I right?¡± she asked. She suddenly stopped from grief. She closes her eyes when she remembers the kiss they shared earlier. She feels guilty because she did that even though her mother was here. She bit her lips because of embarrassment.


    ¡°No.¡± she denied it. But she knows, she can¡¯t hide that from him.


    ¡°I¡¯m your mother. I¡¯ve been with you from your childhood until now. So I know and I feel the way you look at him. Nothing to worry about if you confess to me your feelings to Leo.¡± she said.  Rhianna looked at her mother after eating. She nodded in agreement.


    ¡°Yes, mom. I like him.¡± she confessed.


    ¡°I¡¯m not against it, Rhianna. If you like him, go for it. I¡¯m always here to support you.¡± she said. One of the things she was thankful for is that she had an understanding mother. She was blessed. She grabbed her mother¡¯s hands and squeezed them slightly.

 CHAPTER 18 RESIGNATION

    Rhianna woke up around six in the morning. She immediately went to the kitchen but was stunned when she heard her mother and Leo talking. She smiled, they were starting to feelfortable with each other. She took a few steps to the kitchen. When she entered, they stopped talking and looked at her.


    ¡°You¡¯re awake. Come here, have some coffee first.¡± her mother offered.


    Rhianna smiled and approached the table to brew coffee. Her mother turned around and distracted herself with cooking. When she finished mixing her coffee, she sat in the seat opposite Leo. She couldn¡¯t look at him because she remembered what happenedst night. The kiss they shared.

    When their lips met, she immediately responded to his kiss. His kiss became passionate. He parted for a moment.  He pressed our foreheads together.

    ¡°There¡¯s a drug transaction going on in San Sebado town tomorrow. You need to meet with Brandon today and talk about what you should do. Leo, I¡¯m trusting you with this transaction. Your opponent is tough so be careful.¡±  Agent Jerald said with care in his voice.


    ¡°Copy Agent Jerald!¡± he replied and he turned off the call.


    She headed to the kitchen where Rhianna was. She is cooking now. The dish she is cooking smells delicious. She didn¡¯t notice Leo¡¯s approach because her attention was on cooking.  Leo hugged her from behind.

    Leo turned around and went to the table to sit down. Rhianna approached with a bowl of the dish. He stood up and helped her prepare food.

 CHAPTER 19 HOLDING HANDS

    It¡¯s been three hours since Leo left. He goes to Brandon¡¯s house for a meeting with Carm. She couldn¡¯t help but feel jealous. She¡¯s disgusted! Yes, she knows he cares about her but the fact that he doesn¡¯t trust her, it¡¯s hurt! But, she couldn¡¯t help but feel happy because he cared about her.


    She decided to cook dinner so that somehow, she would be busy. She was finishing cooking when she heard footsteps approaching her.

    ¡°Yes Agent Jerald?¡± he asked and left the kitchen. Rhianna was about to turn around when Carm asked her.


    ¡°I¡¯m still doing the thing that I told you before. I¡¯ll still do everything to get him.¡± Carm said. Her grip on the te tightened. She stared at Carm.   It was good that Leo left because Agent Jerald called on his phone.

    ¡°You haven¡¯t eaten well. Are you annoyed with Carm?¡± he asked. She¡¯s not disgusted, Leo! She was jealous. That¡¯s what she wants to say. She shook her head.


    ¡°I just lost my appetite. My head suddenly hurt.¡± she reasoned. She was shocked by what he did. He got up and left the room. Where did he go? It only took a few moments before he arrive.  Carrying a ss of water and medicine. He¡¯s worried about her? He approached Rhianna and handed the medicine to her.

 CHAPTER 20 THE FEELINGS

    Rhianna is in her bedroom and getting dressed. Leonardo and Rhianna are already preparing to go to Head Quarters because that¡¯s where they¡¯ll meet for the arrest of those behind today¡¯s transaction. She couldn¡¯t help but be nervous about what they were going to do. She hopes that they will be safe.  She hopes also that no one happens baleful to them.


    She took the gun that was on the bedside table next to her bed and bested it to her nk. When she got out of the room, she saw Leonardoing out of his room. She can¡¯t help but admire him.     They walked out of the house to his car parked not far from the apartment. When she got close to the car, she immediately got in the passenger seat. Even Leo got in also in the driver¡¯s seat. Leo drove the car out of the apartment¡¯s yard. While they were on the road, she couldn¡¯t help but ask herself.

    ¡°Is there a problem, Rhianna?¡± he asked her and looked at her in the rearview mirror. Their eyesight converges. Shall she say what¡¯s on her mind? She shook her head, this is not the right time to confess. She still can¡¯t tell him, he might be angry.

Is he having a hard time taking care of her? Is he already having a hard time defending her? She didn¡¯t say anything. She doesn¡¯t want to talk anymore and they might argue more.


    They had reached Head Quarters and they are all there. They are waiting for Rhianna and Leo. Rhianna and Leo got out of the car. Shortly after Leoe out, Carm approached him and suddenly kissed Leo on the lips.


    They were all shocked at what she did.  Especially, Rhianna feels like the world has stopped spinning with what Carm did. She couldn¡¯t help but feel pain and jealousy in her heart.


    ¡°Carmel, why did you do that?!¡± Leo shouted. Carmel doesn¡¯t care what she did to Leo. Leo looked at her and she saw fear in his eyes.

    Rhianna couldn¡¯t help but admire him as he continued to speak. He was able to lead them. The transaction will take ce in an abandoned building. They need to get ahead of them.     When Leo finished speaking they stood up to go out of the Head Quarters. She was about to walk out the door when someone took Rhianna¡¯s hand.  I know the owner of that hand.

    Rhianna turned to him and their eyes met. She looked down because she couldn¡¯t meet his gaze. She nodded.  He pulled her out of Head Quarters.  When they got in his car he drove it out of Head Quarters. Theirrades followed them.


    ¡°About what happened earlier. I mean, what Carm did. I was surprised Rhianna and I don¡¯t like what she had done.¡± Leo exined. Rhianna frowned. Why is he exining to her?  There was no reason for him to exin his side because they have no rtionship.


    ¡°That¡¯s okay. You don¡¯t have to exin because we¡¯re not in a rtionship, Leo.¡± she started in a fact tone. Heughed with sarcasm.

    They immediatelyplied and ran first to the location of the abandoned building. She was about to run when he took her hand, he folded it with his hand and ran. Because he was holding her hand she drifted off to run. She couldn¡¯t help but smile. She looked at their hands sped.


    ¡°You just have to be behind me all the time. For your safety.¡± Leo said as they ran. Suddenly, her chest throbbed rapidly at what he said.  The thought of her safety in his mind only makes Rhianna feels happy and contented.

 CHAPTER 21 Concern

    Leo couldn¡¯t help but smile as Rhianna held her hand. When he holds her hand, he feels that he can do anything.  He can ovee everything. Rhianna bes her strength in what he does.  Leo looked at Rhianna. Their eyes met, and she smiled at him which caused his heart to beat faster. With those smiles, he loses his sanity. She turned her gaze back to the path still folding his hand.  They were close to the abandoned building. Harold was good at lock picking so Leo assigned him to look here at the abandoned building.


    When they reached the abandoned building. They immediately go inside. He still holds Rhianna¡¯s hand. Leo spotted Harold in a chair and sitting pretty. Lots of drugs piled up next to Harold.

As far as he knows, Harold likes Alexandra. It was obvious to him. And, he also feels that Alexandra likes Harold, too. He heaves a deep sigh because of what is in his mind.

    Alexandra just stared at Harold. Harold is stupid for not confessing his feelings to Alexandra, as stupid as he is, too. After this mission, Leo will confess how he feels to Rhianna. He will not allow others to get her, especially Brandon.

    Leo and Rhianna went behind the sack of drugs. While the others went to the back of the box of drugs to hide. They will just wait for the drug dealers toe to this building. Leo held Rhianna¡¯s hand again. He was about to take a step when someone spoke to his side.

    Rhianna¡¯sPOV


    ¡°Yes, we¡¯ll be careful.¡± Leonardo said.  And before Rhianna could answer him, he came out of their hiding ce.  Faith, Brandon, Harold, and Carm also came out. Alexandra and Rhianna were left behind in the drug boxes.


    She heard a series of gunshots. She couldn¡¯t befortable in her hiding ce even though Leo ordered her to stay that she was just there. She has to help them, she¡¯s a member so she has the right to do her job. She came out of her hiding ce.

    The gunshots were gone. Leo¡¯srades¡¯ guns were already pointed at five men. Alexandra came out of hiding and took the handcuffs from her bag and gave them to Leonardo with a look of anger on her face. Is he angry at what she did? That she did not follow what he said.     ¡°I¡¯m sorry I didn¡¯t mean to get angry with you. I was worried too much. I don¡¯t wanna lose you, Rhianna. I¡¯ll die first before that happens. Please, forgive me. I was just carried away by anger so I said that. I didn¡¯t mean to.¡±  he said Again, he pressed a passionate kiss to Rhianna¡¯s lips and she could do nothing but respond.

 CHAPTER 22 Hurting

    Rhianna¡¯s POV


    ¡°Chief will you take care of the drugs that are in the abandoned building?¡±  Leo asked the police officer who was on the other line as he drove the car back to Head Quarters.


    ¡°Okay Chief,¡± he said and put down the cellphone. He threw it on the dashboard of the car. Rhianna was quiet in her seat while looking at the trees they passed. The surroundings are silent. Rxing in mind.


    What had happened earlier suddenly entered her mind. The kiss they shared earlier still lingers on her lips.  Rhianna doesn¡¯t know what to think. Does Leo like her? Rhianna shook her head. No. Leo will never like someone like her. She doesn¡¯t want to assume that he likes her. He should have told her the three words she was looking forward to hearing from his lips. It¡¯s hard to hope. It¡¯s just only a kiss, nothing more and nothing less.


    ¡°Do you want to rest? I¡¯ll take you home. I¡¯ll be at Head Quarters for a while.¡± Leo asked her.  From her eyes outside the car, she turned her gaze to him, his eyes focused on the road.

    They were close to the parking lot where Leo¡¯s car was parked when Rhianna spoke.

    Leo put Alexandra in the passenger seat and adjusted the seat belt. He went to the driver¡¯s seat. When she get in, Rhianna was asleep. Leo gently stroked her cheek. Why are you so beautiful?  CHAPTER 23 Non-Commital

    Rhianna woke up because of the sunlight hitting her face. She used her arm to cover her face. She opened her eyes and roamed her eyes around the room. Why she¡¯s in her room? She closed her eyes and forced herself to remember everything. She opened her eyes when she remembered it. Rhianna got drunkst night from the alcohol she drank.  That¡¯s all she remembers. Is Leo brought here? Probably. Because no one else will take her here but him.


    When she suddenly remembered Leo.  She couldn¡¯t help but feel the pain again when she also remembers what had happened at Head Quarters. If he still loves Carm why is he showing sweetness to her? Why is he kissing Rhianna?


    Is it just because he wants to? She was raised sane but here she was, doing things that she shouldn¡¯t be doing. She already looks stupid at what she¡¯s doing. But now, she won¡¯t let him hurt her anymore. So from now on, Rhianna will forget how she feels for Leo.


    She sigh. Yes, it¡¯s easy to say but it¡¯s hard to do especially since they¡¯re living in the same house.


    She got up from the bed and sat on the side of it while her hand was ced on her forehead. Her head still hurts from the hangover. Her eyes went to the table on the side of the bed and she frowned when she saw a piece of paper.


    Even though her head hurts, she forced herself to stand up and pick up the paper. Her heartbeat bes fast as she read the contents of the paper.

    When she finished eating. She went to the bedroom to get a paper and she write there that she was going to Head Quarters for training. No matter how angry she was with Leo, he still has the right to know where she was.


    When she finished, she put it on the table. She left the room and went outside the apartment and waited for a tricycle to take her to HQ. When Rhianna saw a tricycle approaching. She waves her hand to get the driver¡¯s attention.


    ¡°Where you going, Miss?¡± the driver asked. Rhianna told the tricycle driver the address and he immediately drove it to the Head Quarters.


    When they reached her destination. She got off the tricycle and gave the driver the fare. She went to the gate,  she was about to pick up the pouch she was carrying with the key inside it when she saw the gate open. She had the spare key to the gate and the Head Quarters. She pushed in the gate and entered. The sun is already high so the heat of it hurts the skin.


    She looked at her wristwatch. It¡¯s already ten in the morning. She took a strange step when Harold, Alexandra, Faith, and Brandon came out of Head Quarters. They were shocked to see her. Maybe, they were wondering why Rhianna was alone and not with Leo.


    ¡°Rhi, why are you alone?¡± Harold asked her.


    ¡°Where¡¯s Leo? Why aren¡¯t you with him?¡± Alexandra asked also.


    ¡°Ahm. He¡¯s in town buying stocks of food. I just want to go here alone and practice.¡± She answered them and started walking towards them. They nodded.

 CHAPTER 25 The Lies

    Leonardo was stunned by her question. As if Leo didn¡¯t expect Rhianna to ask him. She sighed softly.

    ¡°Thanks, Brandon for motivating me. It¡¯s okay. Just don¡¯t do that again.¡± Rhianna said. Brandon nodded and he came out of the room. When they were all out, agent Jerald get their attention.


    ¡°Now this is what we¡¯re going to do.¡±  Agent Jerald averted his eyes and suddenly frowned.


    ¡°Where is Carm? Why she¡¯s isn¡¯t she now?¡± he asked with confusion on his face.

    Suddenly her tears dripped, but she immediately wiped them away so that Agent Jerald would not notice.  Brandon is still good he sees everything she does. While Leo does not.     POV¡¯Leonardo


    Leo couldn¡¯t help but be hurt by what he saw. It hurts so much to see you¡¯re woman hugging another man. So before she could even punch Brandon because of the jealousy he felt. Leo left so that the annoyance he felt would go somewhere else because Agent Jerald was there.


    Leo sighed softly as he walked to the car. What was wrong with what he did? I¡¯ll just protect her because he doesn¡¯t want Rhianna to get hurt. Is that difficult to understand? Doesn¡¯t she think of that?


    Leo stopped walking when he heard footsteps approaching where he was. Leo turned around and saw Rhianna approaching. Even though he was angry, it suddenly disappeared because he saw Rhianna. Even though Leo gets angry with her every day but when Leo sees Rhianna, he loses his temper.

    ¡°I have no intention of talking to a liar.¡±  Rhianna replied.  He was confused by what she said.


    ¡°How did you say that I was lying?¡± Leo asked again. He¡¯s getting irritated. They were always fighting.  Isn¡¯t there a day when they don¡¯t fight?

 CHAPTER 28 Trust

    Rhianna separates from Leo¡¯s embrace. She stared him in the eyes. Rhianna sees mixed emotions through the depth of his eyes. Yes, she¡¯ll admit that she was d that Leo was thinking for her sake. So, she quickly lost her anger toward him. Until now, Her welfare is still on his mind. She didn¡¯t even think about how Leo felt but just what she wanted. Rhianna is repentant of what she did.


    ¡°Thank you, Leo. I¡¯m sorry because I¡¯ve be selfish because I just want everything I want to happen.¡± she said sincerely. Leo smiled at her.  That¡¯s the smile that makes her heart beat faster. Now, she was sure that Rhianna is falling in love with Leo. But is he feels the same?


    ¡°You¡¯re wee. It¡¯s nothing. I understand you, Rhianna. I know what you¡¯re going through.¡± Leo said. Suddenly, her tears stream.  Why despite all she has done to Leo, is he still beside Rhianna to protect her?

    ¡°I can¡¯t help but be jealous of Brandon for giving him a hug.¡± he said, scratching his neck. She was sure that he was embarrassed to show her the jealousy he feels. Her hand moved spontaneously and she caressed his cheek. Leo was shocked at what she did. He hold my hand that was on his face and he closed his eyes and savor the feelings of being touched by her.


    ¡°You don¡¯t have to be jealous of him because I was just happy with what he said.¡± she reassuringly said.

 CHAPTER 29 Hoping

    Leo parked the car not far from Ysmael¡¯s mansion where he was hiding. But it was hidden so that the guards at the mansion could not see them.     They headed to the backdoor of the house. When they arrived, Leo was expertly lock-picking with one hand while one of his hands was still holding her hand. When it was opened, he peeked first to make sure if there was someone or not.


    ¡°Nobody was here. Come on.¡± he said and walked ahead.


    He let go of her hand and took the gun that was on his side. She did the same. She took the gun to her side and walked slowly while the gun she was holding pointed forward. She heard a bang. She looked at Leo who was the perpetrator of that gunshot.


    She saw how the man had fallen from the staircase. Suddenly the door opened in front of them and men with guns arrived. But before that could blow them away. They have preceded them. They fired a series of shots. And the four men fell prostrate on the floor in front of them. Leo looked at her.


    ¡°Excellent.¡± he spoke admiringly as he smiled. She was about to respond to his smile when suddenly someone came out of a room. She turned to face him and pointed the gun at him.  The man was shot. She looked at Leo with amazement in his eyes.

    She went up the stairs to the second floor. She turned around and Leo just followed her. She was about to face a door when it suddenly opened and a tall man came out. He is wearing a ck shirt and ck jeans. Is he mourning?


    She looked at him. He was not carrying a weapon. He suddenly raised his right leg to hit her with a kick but she avoided it immediately. He used another leg to hit her but she bent down to avoid his kick.  Because he had to lower his foot.  That was the opportunity she took to kick him into his manhood.

 CHAPTER 30 Bribe

    Because they didn¡¯t catch Don Ysmael. They did nothing but go back to the apartment. While riding in the car driven by Leo. Rhianna can¡¯t help but think of the words he said earlier. She asks herself if she¡¯scking in something so he can¡¯t love her back. Are there qualities of a woman that Leo wants that she doesn¡¯t have? She didn¡¯t want to be the first to say those three words to him. She doesn¡¯t want to be embarrassed. And besides, she¡¯s a woman, a man should be the first to say those things.


    ¡°So the depth of what you¡¯re thinking Rhianna. Is it because we didn¡¯t catch up with Don Ysmael?¡± Leo asked her.

    It was noon when Rhianna woke up. When they got homest night, she immediately fell asleep because she was tired. She got out of bed and stood up. She looked at the clock on the wall.     Leo can¡¯t help but smile at what Rhianna did earlier. Even though she just woke up, her beauty was still there. He turned off the stove and headed to the living room to see who the guest had arrived. She was surprised to see Brandon. She couldn¡¯t help but clench my fist. What is he doing here?


    ¡°Good Morning Leo. I¡¯m here to visit Rhianna,¡± he said.

He wants to say that he loves her. But he held back. That wasn¡¯t the right time to tell her how he felt. But, if the situation is like this, he might be able to tell in no time how she feels for her. It¡¯s okay if she rejects him, at least he tells her what he felt.


    ¡°Sit down.¡± Rhianna said. Rhianna turned to him.


    ¡°Aren¡¯t you cooking something? It might burn.¡± she said.


    ¡°I¡¯ll go to the bedroom first. I¡¯ll get dressed before I continue cooking.¡± he said and headed to the bedroom.

So when he entered the room, he barely opened the door to hear what they were talking about.  What was Brandon¡¯s purpose why he visit Rhianna?


    ¡°We just finished the mission that Agent Jerald asked us to do. We arrested one of the drug dealers in the country. How about your mission?¡± Brandon asked Rhianna.


    ¡°We will just wait for Agent Jerald to say when it¡¯s our mission will be.¡± Rhianna answered. He couldn¡¯t help but admire Rhianna for what she said. She knows the word respect.


    ¡°Why are you here Brandon?¡±  Rhianna asked.


    ¡°Can I invite you to eat outside Rhianna?¡± Brandon asked. Leo was stunned by what Brandon said. Brandon is taking steps to win Rhianna¡¯s heart. But, he will not allow it. She went out of the room to stop Rhianna but he was stunned by her answer.


    ¡°Of course. You can.¡±

 Chapter 31 : Friendly Date

    There¡¯s nothing wrong with epting Brandon¡¯s offer to eat outside. It¡¯s just a friendly date. She¡¯s thinking about Leo now. What if he gets angry? She was stunned. Why would he be angry? They don¡¯t have a rtionship. It¡¯s not because he told her that he likes her, does it means he already owns her? As long as he doesn¡¯t say that he loves her, she has the right to ept Brandon¡¯s offer. Love? Leo can¡¯t tell her those things.


    ¡°Yes. You can.¡± she said


    After she said that. Leo came out of the room wearing a top and went to the kitchen. He didn¡¯t even turn to them. She knows he heard what she said. His room is just on the side of the living room. Whereas her room is right in front of the living room. Is he angry?


    ¡°Alright, I¡¯ll just take a shower and get dressed.¡± she said and stood up.


    ¡°Alright, I¡¯ll wait for you, Rhianna.¡±  Brandon replied.


    She just gave him a small smile. She went to the room where there was a bathroom that was big enough for one person. While she was in front of the shower. She can¡¯t help but think of Leo¡¯s reaction. She feels guilty. But, Brandon is a good man. He became a good friend to her.


    After she showers. She wore a peach Hawaiian dress. She put a hairpin on her hair andbed it. She also put a thin lipstick on her lips. After she looked at herself in the mirror and was satisfied with her appearance, she left the room.


    When she left the room, their eyes met. His long hair is in a ponytail. She just stared at him. She can¡¯t even feel a spark of what he¡¯s doing. It¡¯s not like Leo who stares at her and she feels like she¡¯s going to melt.


    ¡°Brandon.¡± she called him.  He smiled at her.

    ¡°Thanks. Wait, I¡¯ll just say goodbye to Leo.¡± she said and Brandon nodded.


    She headed to the kitchen. When She got there, I found him putting away the meat and other ingredients that he cut earlier.


    ¡°Aren¡¯t you going to cook that?¡± she asks.


    ¡°Not anymore. For what else? Are you going on a date, right?¡± he asked her who didn¡¯t even look at her. She was stunned by what he said. He is angry.


    ¡°There¡¯s nothing wrong with epting his offer. It¡¯s just a friendly date.¡± she said to him.


    ¡°Why are you still saying goodbye? Leave now because he might be waiting for you.¡± he pushed her away. She couldn¡¯t help but be hurt by the tone of his speech. There was anger in his tone. Biting her lower lip, she turned away from him and headed to the living room. Her heart was pounding as he walked towards the living room where Brandon was waiting. She smiled at him and tried to hide the pain she was feeling.


    ¡°Let¡¯s go.¡± he said. Brandon stood up and let her walk ahead. The car is parked not far from the apartment.  When they got there, he immediately opened the car door for her.


    ¡°Thank you.¡± she said and went inside. He turned towards the driver¡¯s seat. After he got in, he drove the car to where he was going to take her.


    Leo can¡¯t help but feel jealous. He¡¯s excited to wake up early to cook for Rhianna. But that effort became meaningless when Brandon arrived.  He still thought Rhianna would refuse. But he was wrong. He¡¯s disgusted! He¡¯s very upset.


    Because of the annoyance, jealousy, and mixed emotions he feels. He clenched his fist and punched the wall. That resulted in a wound on his fist. Blood was dripping on his hand.  Even the wall was stained with his blood. He tore off the clean rag on the side and tied it in his fist. It hurts, but the pain he feels now is even more painful than this.


    He got five beers from the fridge and went to the room to get drunk. He wants to somehow get rid of the pain he¡¯s feeling right now. And only beer can help him now. He went to the room and put the five beers on the floor. He immediately opened a bottle and drink it.


    He just did this to a girl. Just now. When Carm and he were together. He wasn¡¯t even hurt when they separated. He was a yboy. But that changed when he became an agent. Even against the will of his parents, he pursues his dream.


    He immediately finished a bottle of wine. He¡¯s still a little dizzy. He¡¯s going to get drunk now. He can¡¯t imagine Rhianna and Brandon being together right now. Alcohol will help him to forget them.

 Chapter 32 Found Out

    They went to the Sweet Angel Restaurant in town not far from the apartment. The trip only took ten minutes. Brandon parked the car in the parking area of ??the Restaurant.  After parking, he got out of the car and went around to the passenger seat to open the door for her. When he opened the door, she immediately got out.


    ¡°Thank you.¡± Rhianna said to Brandon. He smiled at her.


    ¡°Let¡¯s go.¡± Brandon said. She nodded and they went to the restaurant together. The guard outside greeted them and opened the door for them. She thanked him before they finally got inside.


    ¡°We gotta seat in there, Rhianna.¡± Brandon said and pointed to a table at the end of the restaurant.


    With a ss wall where you can see the view outside. He grabbed her arms and guided her towards it. But she didn¡¯t feel any electricity from the contact of their skins. Unlike Leo, she feels electricity running through her heart. Why am I thinking about Leo?


    They are on a date but she had something else in mind. She immediately put Leo out of her mind. When they got there. She immediately sat facing the ss wall, while Brandon sat in front of her. When they sat down, they are approached by a man who is a Service Crew of the Restaurant.  He handed them the menu and Brandon took it. The man just stood on the side to wait for their order.


    ¡°Shall I order?¡± he asked her. She nodded.


    ¡°Yes, just you. I¡¯m not good at it¡± she said. He looked back at the menu to see what they could eat.


    ¡°Chinese cabbage stewed with Salmon, Rice with salmon and cucumber, and gunkan with caviar for dessert.¡± Brandon said.  The man just stood there as Brandon listed what he ordered.


    ¡°How about drinks, Sir?¡± the crew asked. Brandon looked at her.


    ¡°Just water.¡± she said. He nodded.


    ¡°Water only.¡± Brandon replied. After the man listed Brandon¡¯s order, he left and went to the kitchen. She looked at Brandon who was just staring at her. She was suddenly taken aback when he stared at her like that. She swallowed before speaking.


    ¡°Hm. Why did you invite me here Brandon?¡± she asked. Brandon sighed before speaking.


    ¡°I like you, Rhianna. Can I court you?¡± he asked her.


    She was surprised by what he said. She thought it was just a friendly date. But she didn¡¯t think he would confess his feelings for her. She stared at Brandon. But she can¡¯t feel her heart beating faster, unlike Leo, when he stares at her it¡¯s like there¡¯s a horse racing inside her heart.


    ¡°Ahem.¡± she¡¯s speechless. Brandon smiled at her.


    ¡°It¡¯s okay, I¡¯m not rushing you, Rhianna. But I hope you¡¯ll let me show you that I¡¯m serious about you.¡± he said with a pleading voice.


    She can¡¯t ept what he said. Yes, she knows that Leo doesn¡¯t love her. But there is no reason for her to ept what he said. She loves Leo much. Even if there is no response to what she feels for him, that is no reason for her to ept what Brandon said. So even if Brandon is hurt by what she¡¯s going to say. The important thing is that she became true to herself.


    ¡°I¡¯m sorry Brandon but..¡± what the hell! She can¡¯t say what she wants to say.


    ¡°But you love someone else, right? And that¡¯s Leo. Am I right Rhianna?¡±  he asked her. She bowed her head. She can¡¯t stand his gaze on her. She can see the pain in his eyes from the words he said. Brandon became a good friend. But that¡¯s not a reason for her to agree with what he wants.  That¡¯s unfair to him.


    ¡°You¡¯re right Brandon. I like Leo. I only think of you as a friend.¡±  I said and looked at him. The pain in his eyes is still there. He tried to smile but it didn¡¯t reach his eyes. He nodded.

    Their order has arrived. They started eating Brandon¡¯s ordered food. It¡¯s like a thorn has been pulled out of her chest because she¡¯s just now expressing her feelings.


    ¡°You love Leo, right?¡± Brandon asked suddenly as she looked up at him from the te of food in front of her.  I don¡¯t know what to say. Does she confess to him?


    ¡°Rhianna. You can trust me. It¡¯s easier inside when you tell other people what you¡¯re hiding. It¡¯s hard to hide your emotions.¡± he said. He smiled. It¡¯s even better that she can tell other people what she feels.


    ¡°Yes Brandon, I love him. It¡¯s just that he doesn¡¯t love me.¡± she said and bit her lip. Brandon was right, she felt a little better when she told him that.


    ¡°Because Leo cannot love a fellow Agent. He is Agent Jerald¡¯s, right-hand man. That has been the policy of both of them since Leo was appointed as Agent Jerald¡¯s right-hand man. When Agent Jerald finds out that you two have a rtionship. You and Leo will be removed from the group.¡± Brandon said which surprised her.


    She was stunned by what she found out. Could that be the reason why Leo doesn¡¯t tell me that he loves her?  Or maybe he doesn¡¯t love her?  But that is very impossible. A man won¡¯t waste time on a woman if he doesn¡¯t have passion for her. But she still wants to be sure.


    ¡°But that¡¯s not a reason to say that he loves me. Maybe he doesn¡¯t love me.¡± Brandonughed at what she said. She stared at him evilly. He raised his right hand.


    ¡°I want to punch Leo right now. But, trust me he loves you. He won¡¯t protect you, he won¡¯t be jealous if he doesn¡¯t love you, Rhianna. I¡¯m a guy too. That¡¯s why I know that.¡± Brandon said. She suddenly felt happy at what Brandon said. They just feel the same. She wants to celebrate what she just found out.


    ¡°But trust him. Maybe he¡¯s just looking for a time to tell you his feelings for you. Wait for that time. When you can freely express your feelings to each other. Especially now that you haven¡¯t caught Don Ysmael yet.¡± he said.


    She felt better about what she found out. Yes, she will wait for the right time for Leo to confess his feelings for her. For now, she will keep her feelings for him for the sake of both of them and so that there is no obstacle in their mission.


    ¡°Thank you Brandon.¡± she said.


    ¡°It¡¯s Nothing. Let¡¯s eat. The food is getting cold.¡± Brandon said making herugh. She started eating. It turned out that inviting him had a good oue. Because she found out some things that made her feel better.

 Chapter 33 Possessive

    After they ate, Brandon immediately paid the bill. Besides, he asked her if she wants to go home. That¡¯s a good thing because he already misses Leo.  What is he doing now? Is he still mad at her? Probably. She will exin when she arrives.


    ¡°Thank you for epting my invitation, Rhianna.¡± said Brandon and looked at her. They got back in his car.


    ¡°It¡¯s okay Brandon. You¡¯ve been a good friend to me. There¡¯s no reason for me to reject you.¡± she said. He smiled at her and turned his attention back to the road.


    When they reached the apartment. She said goodbye to Brandon and immediately got out of his car. She didn¡¯t go in first. She looked at his car driving away. When she couldn¡¯t see it anymore, she went inside and looked for Leo. She went to the kitchen but he wasn¡¯t there. Probably in his bedroom and resting. She went to his room and turned the door knob.


    She was surprised by what appeared in front of her when she opened the door. Leo was curled up on the bed with five empty bottles of wine next to him. She can¡¯t help but feel guilty. She know she was the reason why he got drunk. She wasted no time, she approached him. She shook his shoulder.


    ¡°Leo? Leo?¡± she said.


    ¡°Hmm.¡± he said, opening his eyes slightly. He is drunk.


    ¡°Oh? Rhianna. It¡¯s you! Get out of here. Let me go.¡± he said in a drunken voice.


    ¡°No. I won¡¯t leave you here Leo.¡± She said, bending down and putting his left arm on her shoulder. He is very heavy but she forced herself to bear his weight andid him down on the bed.


    ¡°Get out of here Rhianna. You have done nothing but hurt me. I have done everything for you. But until now you are still hurting me.¡± he said in a weak voice.


    Suddenly her tears flowed because of what he said. She wiped it with her palm. She left his room and went to the kitchen. She put warm water in the basin. She carried it back to Leo¡¯s room. When she was in his room, she looked in his dresser for a towel to use. Thanks because she found something.


    She approached him and started touching him with a towel with warm water. He growled at what she did. He removes her hand. But because he was drunk, he didn¡¯t have the strength to push her and remove her hand that was caressing his face with a frown.


    But it was only a few moments before hepletely fell asleep with drunkenness. She took off his upper clothes so that somehow the heat of his body would disappear. She swallowed when she saw his abs. She caressed it gently. It felt like it was burning when she removed his hand from his body. She focused on what she is doing. When she finished that. She was about to stand up when he stopped her.


    ¡°Stay.¡± that was all that came out of his mouth. She couldn¡¯t do anything but stay by his side. She stared at him. Even if he is drunk. His good looks are still undiminished. She gently caressed his cheek.


    ¡°I¡¯m sorry Leo. I¡¯ll exin when you wake up. And I hope you believe me.¡± she said. His grip on her hand has been removed. But she didn¡¯t leave. She stayed next to him while staring at him. Until she feels sleepy.  She bowed her head to the bed and closed her eyes. Until she finally fell asleep.


    He woke up with a headache. He caressed it. Sh*t! He got up from the bed with a sore forehead. He looked at himself and saw that he had no top on. Who undressed him? He was stunned by a nce at the edge of the bed. He saw Rhianna with her head bowed on the side of the bed. She also saw the basin next to him.


    He couldn¡¯t help but smile. It means she took care of him. He suddenly felt sorry for her situation. So, even though his head hurts. He got off the bed and snuggle Rhianna. Alsoid on the bed.


    He stared at her gentle face. Until his eyes reached her lips that tasted better than kissing. He bent down to give him a quick peck on the lips.


    ¡°Thank you for taking care of me, baby.¡± he said.


    He went to the bathroom to take a shower. To somehow get rid of his headache. While in the shower. He suddenly thought of the date of the two. How was their date? He wants to be angry with Rhianna.  But he can¡¯t do it anymore. That¡¯s gone because she took care of him. His anger towards her did notst long. After he showered, he left the bathroom. Somehow, his headache is gone. But it still hurts. He looked at the wall clock. Sh*t! It was five o¡¯clock in the afternoon.


    He got dressed right away. After she got dressed, he took out his cell phone, maybe Agent Jerald would callter. Besides, he went straight to the kitchen to cook the Adobong Baboy that he was supposed to cook earlier. He wants when Rhianna wakes up this to be cooked. He¡¯s happy while cooking. He doesn¡¯t know why maybe because of the knowledge that Rhianna took care of him. While cing the pork meat, someone coughed behind him.     ¡°Are you okay? Do you want me to cook? Maybe you still have a hangover?¡± she asked him.


    ¡°Are you worried about me?¡± he asked her while staring into her eyes. She looked away.


    ¡°Of course. I was worried about you.¡± she said as her face turned red. He wanted to smile but he hid it. He wants her to know that he didn¡¯t like her being with Brandon.


    ¡°You were worried but you didn¡¯t think about how I would feel when you went with Brandon.¡± he said to her. He turned his attention back to what was being cooked and added soy to it.


    ¡°Leo, Brandon is also a friend. I don¡¯t want to be harsh with him. He wanted to court me but I refused because I like you.¡± she said.  Suddenly his heart beat faster at what she said. He wanted to jump for joy because of what he found out. Yes! He hugged her and she stopped. But after a few moments, she responded to his hug.


    ¡°Sorry, I was just jealous. Now I understand. You¡¯re mine, Rhianna. I should be the only one who owns you and no one else. I wanted to punch Brandon earlier because of the jealousy I feel but I held back. Because he still my colleague.¡± he said and looked at her, she was just looking at him. He bent slightly to kiss her but she looked away.


    ¡°Hm. Leo, the meal is already cooked and might burn.¡± she said.


    ¡°Fuck!¡± he forgot what he was cooking because his mind was with Rhianna. He broke away from the hug and looked at what he was cooking. Using a spoon, he poked the meat to see if it was cooked. It¡¯s cooked.


    ¡°Sit there Rhianna.¡± he ordered. But Rhianna didn¡¯t sit down, she went to the te holder and took two tes.


    ¡°No. I¡¯ll help you.¡± she said and gave him a smile on her lips. There was the strong pounding of his chest again. He took the pot with only marinated pork. He went to the table to put it there. Rhianna also spooned the rice. He can¡¯t help but smile. They are like husband and wife in what they do. How he wishes to be her wife soon.

 Chapter 34 Excitement

    That was the happiest dinner Leo and Rhianna had. They chatted happily while eating and helped wash the dishes together. After they washed the dishes, she said goodbye to Leo and that she was going to her room. When she entered the room, she immediately went to the bathroom to take a half-bath.


    After that, she immediately came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body. Right after she left, Leo entered the room. She was stunned when their eyes met. He razed his gaze on her from head to toe. She blushed at the way he looked at her. She saw the desire in his eyes. He cough.


    ¡°Sorry. No one answered so I went in. I¡¯ll go out first.¡± he said and left before closing the door.


    Rhianna, on the other hand, was just stuck on where she is. She suddenly felt ashamed! What the heck! She got dressed right away. She wore a sleeveless duster. She tied her hair and put powder on her face. When she was satisfied with her appearance. She fixed the bed. When she has done fixing it. Suddenly, someone knocked, and it was Leo.


    ¡°Have you gotten dressed yet Rhianna?¡± Leo asked her.


    ¡°Yes. You can go in.¡± she replied and sat on the edge of the bed. The door opened and Leo¡¯s handsome face appeared in front of her. Their eyes met. He smiled which made her heart beat faster. When Leo entered, he sat next to her.


    ¡°Do you need anything?¡± She asked him and looked at him. He looked at the floor as if he was ashamed. Why should he be shy?


    ¡°Hmm¡­ I would like to ask you out on a date Rhianna. If you agree?¡± he asked her with his eyes still on the floor. She couldn¡¯t help but be stunned by what he said. Of course, she will agree! There is no reason for her not to agree to his offer. Is this the beginning of it all? He suddenly looked at her. Their eyes met.  Suddenly her eyes went to his lips. It¡¯s like someone is pushing her to kiss him.


    ¡°Rhianna? Don¡¯t you want to date me? If you don¡¯t want to, that¡¯s fine with me. I won¡¯t force you.¡± he said.


    ¡°Yes, I will agree. Let¡¯s go on a date tomorrow.¡± she said and gave him a sweet smile.


    For some unknown reason, her right hand suddenly rose to caress his cheek. She was surprised when he suddenly pulled her closer to him. He suddenly kissed her which surprised her. Her lips parted to meet his kiss. Because of the sensation, she felt, her hands moved spontaneously to wrap around his neck and her lips moved spontaneously to ept his kiss.


    He slowlyid her down on the bed while their lips were still touching.  His kiss went down to her neck and kissed it which caused her body to tingle. What he was doing felt good.  This is new to her. The sensation she felt from kissing her neck was all new to her. No one has ever done that to her but Leo.


    ¡°Leo,¡± she said. He suddenly stopped what he was doing and got up from on top of her. He washed his face and stroked his hair as if he hadmitted a crime.


    ¡°F*ck! I shouldn¡¯t have done that to you.¡± he said staring at her. ¡°I respect you, Rhianna. I¡¯m sorry.¡± he said, waking up to what he had done. She couldn¡¯t help but smile at what he said. To think that he respects her is a big deal to Rhianna.  It¡¯s not a joke to hold yourself back, especially since he¡¯s a man and has needs too. She was impressed by what he did and she loved him even more.


    ¡°It¡¯s okay Leo. I understand. Thank you for the respect you give me.¡± Rhianna sincerely said. He stood up from his seat and came to her. Then, he gave her a quick kiss on the lips which caused her cheeks to blush even more.


    ¡°You¡¯re blushing.¡± he teased while grinning.


    ¡°It¡¯s all your fault!¡± she shouted then pouted her lips. He justughed at what she said. He stood up.


    ¡°Go to sleep. We have a date tomorrow around noon. Dress well.¡± he said and left his room. She couldn¡¯t stop himself.  She giggled because of the thrill she felt. She rolled over in her bed like a teenager. She can¡¯t sleep because of the excitement she feels about their date tomorrow.


    THE NEXT DAY, when she woke up, she immediately went to the kitchen to cook breakfast for them, but she found him in front of the stove and frying. She smelled the sweet smell of ham. Rhianna approached Leo.


    ¡°What are you cooking?¡± she asked even though she already knew the answer. He recoiled in shock.


    ¡°Shit! Rhianna. You shocked me!¡± he eximed which made herugh.


    ¡°Why are you cooking? Shouldn¡¯t I be?¡± she asked. It¡¯s embarrassing because he always cooks for them.


    ¡°Why? You don¡¯t want to?¡± he asked, looking at her.


    ¡°It¡¯s just embarrassing that a man cooked for me. Maybe, I¡¯ll get used to the way you take care of me.¡± she said. He walked towards her carrying the ham and fried egg he had cooked.


    ¡°Better, get used to it. I prefer that you get used to it.¡± he said and winked at her.


    My heart pounds from what he said.  I¡¯m really in love with Leo. He put the te on the table as soon as he got close. She stood up to take a te from the container. When she got back, she spooned some rice into the pot.


    ¡°Is there no update on Ysmael?¡±


    She didn¡¯t address her stepfather Don because it doesn¡¯t suit him. The wealth he hases from illegal sources. He was good to them but locking them in one ce for a few years is what she didn¡¯t like. Of course, even being a Drug Lord.


    Because of what he does, many young people are separated from the right path and many people perish.  Why does it dare to do such a thing?  Doesn¡¯t he feel guilty? After all, people who are greedy for money have no conscience.

    ¡°I just thought of Ysmael. With what he does. Many people perish.¡± she said. Leo grabbed her hand that was on the table and stared at her intently.

That¡¯s what you asked earlier. Agent Jerald hasn¡¯t called me yet. Don Ysmael is the only one we need to bring down.¡±  Leo said. She nodded at what he said. He¡¯s right, money is powerful.


    ¡°Once we catch him. I¡¯ll be free.¡± he whispered.  It was a whisper but she heard it clearly because her hearing was sharp. What does he mean? Free where? Is he free from protecting her? But didn¡¯t Brandon say that Leo loves her? Before she goes crazy thinking of the answer to the questions in her head. She has already asked.


    ¡°Free where?¡± she asked. He stopped his spoon as he was about to take a bite and looked at her.


    ¡°I¡¯m free to do what I want Rhianna.¡± he said. Maybe he will be free to do what he wants them to be.  She hopes, she hopes that she¡¯s right.  Somehow that thought gave her hope. Think positive self! She smiled at him.


    ¡°Yes you will be free.¡± she said. They will both be free for their happiness.
