 Chapter 1

    Chapter 1


    I walked out of the infirmary which was now bing a daily urrence for me.


    The boys of the pack would use me like I was a punching bag taking out all of their frustrations on me.


    They knew I was a weak target, nothingpared to their brute strength; if they so desired they could


    easily snap me in two.


    The Beta''s son was the worst of them all. He was angry at me because he believed I was in the way of


    him and Roxanne for some odd reason. I haven¡¯t been in the pack for long; me and her haven''t even


    spoken to each other.


    Honestly every boy in the pack wanted Roxy including me.


    They all pretty much only wanted her for her looks or for their sexual desires.


    I limped back to my room holding my side making sure to not wake anyone with my groans.


    The boys would always make sure they attacked mete at night so that they would never be caught.


    No one besides them knew what was going on and knowing me they knew it would always be that way.


    The Alpha and the Luna were really nice people and would definitely punish the boys for what they


    have done if they were aware of the situation.


    I also knew that if whoever hurt me was to be punished I was going to get punished 10¡Á harder.


    I opened my door and walked towards my bedying on it which caused my body to go stiff in pain.


    I would be okay in an hour or so I just needed to rest. Being a werewolf I healed faster than humans


    but with me being the weakest the healing process for me was a bit slower.


    I brushed the hair out of my eyes, sighing , staring up at my ceiling deep in thought.


    I had tried to run from Brayden this time but it didn''t work. He was so much faster.


    Brayden had broken three of my ribs and made me sprain my ankle while trying to run.


    I closed my eyes trying to rid the current events of today out of my mind. It''s always easier to forget.


    I knew it''ll happen again probably sooner than I expect but forgetting the past helps a little.


    I have always been abused as long as I can remember.


    I should be used to this by now but I wasn''t and I knew I would never be.


    I groaned as I reached over to take the pain medicine I always kept on my nightstand.


    I suddenly realized I didn''t have any water and I wasn''t about to dry swallow these huge pills. I would


    have to go downstairs to the kitchen.


    I sighed sitting up in bed letting out a painful groan once my body was sitting up straight.


    I struggled getting off of the bed but I finally seeded heading downstairs.


    I didn''t see anyone in the hallways so I assumed that I would be alone. I made it to the kitchen just in


    time to hear a cab closing.


    I quietly nced in and saw Roxy holding a waffle covered in what I''m guessing was Nute.


    I was going to try and run back towards my room until she suddenly spoke.


    ¡°Why are you hiding?¡± She asked with her eyes trained on her waffle.


    I knew she hadn''t seen me but she was an excellent hunter her senses were extraordinary.


    I walked in slowly with my head down not even bothering to look at her.


    ¡°What''s wrong?¡± She asked in a soothing voice that oddly seemed to call my nerves a bit.


    ¡°Nothing I just needed a ss of water,¡± I said my eyes trained on a random stain on the floor making


    no effort to move .


    I heard her messing in the cab searching for ss. The sink turned on for a second then just as


    quickly fell silent.


    I then heard the freezer open up and I guess she added some ice cubes in.


    She handed me the cold ss and I stared at it in my hands, my head still hanging low.


    ¡°Is it okay do you not like ice or something?¡± She asked.


    I finally gained the courage to look up towards her meeting her eyes.


    Her blue eyes shone brightly as she examined my face waiting for me to respond.


    Her hair was a bit messy probably from bed but she still looked beautiful to me.


    ¡°Thanks for the water,¡± I said finally in a quiet voice that caused her to smile.


    ¡°No problem Aiden, I''m sure you would do the same for me¡± She said and I stared at eyes wide in


    shock.


    ¡°You know my name,¡± I asked and she nodded causally.

    chuckled at her statement.


    It kinda made me happy she didn''t like any of the other guys at least I knew we had something in


    ¡°Hmm it also helps that I find you cute and kind of like the shy boy thing¡± She said and I felt my eyes


    widen.


    She called me cute...she called me cute! I know I sound like some giddy 13 year old girl with her first


    crush.


    The sad thing is I''m 19 and I was reacting like that. I knew Roxy was very open but I would never have


    the guts to tell her how I felt.


    She nced at me one more time before smiling again. ¡°Goodnight see you tomorrow¡± She said


    tossing the edges of her waffle in the trash.


    ¡°Um see you tomorrow goodnight¡± I said quickly walking the opposite direction from her.


    She was right. I was shy but I never knew the Alpha''s Daughter would notice me and actually be kind


    to me.


    I thought they went for boys like the Beta, the Alpha, or their sons. You know handsome guys who


    could actually protect them.


    Well I mean Roxanne wasn''t your average girl she didn''t act like the rest of the girls from the pack.


    She wasn''t stuck up or rude like you would expect someone as high up as her to be.


    I loved her beauty; she was just so irresistible. I loved the way her bright blue eyes were always shining


    no matter what. I loved the way her golden brown hair flowed down her back. I loved how she always


    helped others even if she doesn''t have to.


    The girl was only a dream to me sadly I was living in reality.


    I wish I was good enough for her. I wish someone like me could have a chance with the Alpha''s


    Daughter.

    I sat up in bed with a yawn poking at my ribs thankfully being greeted with healed bones.


    I''m d they were able to heal properly before the inevitable injury that they''ll eventually receive.


    I sighed ncing at the ss that sat beside me on the nightstand half empty.


    An image of Roxy smiling cutely came to mind. I wonder why she never liked being called by her full


    name. I loved her name either way.


    Her smile was something that made living my life a little better.


    Kicks, Punches, and words were the pained things darkening my life yet the brightness of Roxy''s smile


    was enough to keep me going.


    I could have easily died long ago but there is something about Roxy that forces me to stay.


    Sadly on her 18th birthday she''ll belong to her mate and I will be nothing but a distant memory.


    She would find someone to love her, protect her, and make her happy all the things I was incapable of.


    How could someone like me provide these things to a person if I haven''t even learned or experienced


    these things myself.


    I shake my head sharply trying to repress these depressing and absurd thoughts. Roxy would never


    feel such a way towards me so why was I so caught up in thinking like this.


    I walk over to my closet randomly grabbing an outfit preparing to go take a shower. I liked to wait until

    the filth that was known as me and they refused to allow me in until they were done.


    I made it to the bathroom safely hurrying to shower just to make sure I didn''t run into anyone

    I finally made it downstairs for breakfast taking my usual spot at the end of the table where the lower


    ranks sat.


    This wasn''t how the table was ordered to be. The lower ranks didn''t have anywhere to fit in with the


    higher ranks so we just sat together.


    I nced at the head of the table and saw Roxy eating with her family smiling andughing along with


    them.


    Right beside her sat Brayden who was watching her just as I did.


    She turned to look at him and he took this as his chance to try and get her attention saying something


    that caused her to roll her eyes.


    She turned a little, meeting my eyes causing her face to light up instantly throwing me a quick smile.


    I smiled back whilst noticing that Brayden''s attention was now on me.


    His eyes darkened with what I recognized was soon to be my worst nightmare.


    His gaze stayed on me for a while longer before he turned back to his duty of pestering Roxy.

    Soon after breakfast everyone was sent out to do their chores.


    I was in charge of skinning the meat that was going to be eaten for dinner.


    I watched Roxy as she headed out with her hunting group.


    I nced out the window and watched as she shifted into a beautiful white wolf whose fur was as pure


    as snow.


    She howled up into the sky leading the group towards the forest.


    I finished my job and as if on cue Roxy walked in with her group who were carrying arge deer and


    loads of different birds.


    She shifted back to her human form and helped everyone to carry the many pounds of meat they


    gathered inside.


    ¡°So is this too much for you to handle?¡± She asked and I shook my head frantically worn out but too


    afraid to upset her.


    She narrowed her eyes at me before turning to the group ¡°You did great today everyone you may


    return back to your casual festivities...I''ll be in the kitchen.¡±


    Everyone howled happily and scurried out quickly spreading throughout the house.


    She smiled sweetly, turning towards me grabbing a knife from the counter.


    ¡°You don''t have to help,¡± I said, turning slightly away from her focusing all my attention on cutting the


    meat in my hand.


    ¡°I helped bring it in so I''ll help skin it¡± She said stubbornly and I nodded simply realizing that she had


    made up her mind.


    We sat quietly, our knives cutting through the tough skin of the wild beast being the only sound audible


    in the kitchen.


    ¡°Why are you so shy?¡± She asked, turning towards me with her head cocked to the side slightly. I


    continued to cut silently acting as if I didn''t hear her question too anxious to speak.


    She sighed ¡°You know I''m not as bad as I may seem¡­¡± She paused for a moment waiting to see if I''d


    respond before continuing ¡°...I believe that we will get along nicely¡± She smiles at me encouragingly.


    A small smile spreads across my face as the words leave her mouth. No one has ever been so nice to


    me it was an odd feeling.


    ¡°Babe don''t get his hopes up¡± Brayden walks in out of nowhere ruining the moment.


    Roxy turns sharply ring at him "You need to worry about yourself because unlike you I actually like


    him" She smiles at me momentarily before returning her re to him.


    My eyes grewrge from shock caught off guard from her sudden statement. I knew she meant that


    she liked me only as a friend but it still surprised me that anyone liked me at all.


    ¡°You like that little mutt over me you must be a little confused right now it''s okay baby I''ll forgive you¡±


    His face clenched tightly from anger.


    She continued to re at him ncing down at the knife in her head contemting for a moment


    before sitting it down.


    ¡°You better be d I''m a nice person and didn''t throw that knife at you I should head out before doing


    something I''d regret¡± She pushes past Brayden stopping once she makes it to the kitchen''s entrance


    turning back towards me.


    ¡°I''ll talk to youter Aiden try not to miss me too much¡± She winks before walking away.


    Brayden watches as she leaves, turning towards me as soon as we''re alone hatred consuming his


    eyes.


    He walks towards me menacingly wrapping his hands around my neck holding me in ce.


    I struggle against him for a bit pulling at his arms trying to make him release me.


    ¡°You fucking bastard stay away from Roxanne next time I see you near her I won''t hesitate to strangle


    you to death¡± He releases me suddenly.


    I fall to the floor gasping for air rubbing at my neck that stings in pain.


    Brayden stares down at me smiling evilly as he sends a kick straight into my stomach.


    ¡°Get up before someone sees you because if I get into trouble...I''ll hurt you to the point that your body


    won''t even be able to recover from it¡± He harshly kicks me again.


    I nodded standing up slowly with a groan leaning against the counter.


    Brayden walked awayughing at the pathetic disy most likely heading after Roxy.


    I was given a hard choice and under normal circumstances I would have been able toply easily but


    this time something stopped me. I had two choices I could either avoid Roxy and lose having her as a


    friend, or I could be strangled to death.


    I sighed sadly feeling a tear run slowly down my cheek. What did I ever do to earn the life I live?

    Roxanne POV


    It was finally dinner time and I really wanted topliment Aiden on his skinning skills. They were


    amazing.


    After dinner I tried approaching him but he simply nced at me looking away quickly walking around


    me as if he didn¡¯t just see me.


    I turned around just in time to catch Brayden smirking at Aiden as he passed by him a satisfied look on


    his face.


    I narrowed my eyes suspiciously at the scene before me.


    I didn''t have to be a werewolf to sniff out that something was definitely off here and Brayden was at the


    center of it.


    I was going to figure out what was going on and soon. It was almost like he was avoiding me and


    Brayden apparently was behind it.


    I couldn''t stand that dick he¡¯s always getting in my way acting as if I was his property.


    He was an extreme yer sex was like a sport to him he could easily hook up with the rest of the girls


    from the pack.


    Now that he''s finally found someone that doesn''t like him he goes above and beyond to get them.


    I''m sorry I''m not interested in the yer. That''s not the way I see my romance life ending. I don¡¯t see


    this as a story where the yer gets changed and we simply fall in love.


    I shook the thought of me even being with him out of my mind. He annoyed me to death.


    I quickly made my way towards him wanting some answers of why Aiden was ignoring me.


    ¡°What did you do?¡± I asked as soon as I made it to where he was sitting.


    He stared at me confused, arching an eyebrow with this dumb look on his face.


    ¡°What are you talking about?¡± He asked fluttering his eyshes innocently.


    ¡°Why is Aiden avoiding me¡± I asked and I noticed Brayden''s eyes darken.


    ¡°Don''t worry about him,¡± He said harshly trying to walk past me.


    I stepped into his path growling up at him. Just because my 5 feet and 4 inches was smallpared to


    his towering body of 6 feet didn''t mean a thing.


    I could easily tear his body apart. He looked down at me and smirked while I returned it with a re.


    ¡°You''re being feisty I like it,¡± He said and I scoffed at him taking a step back.


    ¡°Shut up before I have an execution specially arranged just for Brayden Jr.¡± I said and his eyes


    widened ncing down at his crotch.


    ¡°That''s exactly what I thought and you say anything else to Aiden I''ll make sure it happens¡± I said and


    he groaned rolling his eyes


    ¡°What did you say?¡± I asked hissing between clenched teeth causing Brayden to stare at me with fear


    clear in his eyes.


    ¡°I said okay¡± He mumbles with his head down and I smirk at him. When I was angry I was a force to be


    reckoned with.

    I needed to go tell Aiden he didn''t need to be scared of Brayden.


    I don''t know why I cared so much about him but I did.


    I never have really liked anyone from the opposite sex because the ones I lived with and were around

    I finally found a boy that I didn''t hate and there was something about him that caught my eye.


    I could tell he was a very strong willed person.

    I was always a person who liked people by their personalities.


    Looks really weren''t important but Aiden had those too.


    He had this innocent shy boy look to him.


    His strands of brownish blonde hair flowed down his face threatening to cover his eyes. Oh his eyes


    were wonderful. They were a bright shade of green almost like emeralds. His cheeks seemed to stay a


    soft pink tint making him look adorable.


    I felt bad for whatever Brayden said to him or put him through.


    I felt like Aiden would like me if he got to know me as a person.


    I walked around until I found his room. I knocked gently on his door stepping back a bit as I waited for a


    response.


    I heard a lot of rustling before the door finally crept open slowly.


    Aiden peeked around the door, his eyes widening once he saw me.


    ¡°Don''t freak out, I had a little talk with Brayden. He was bothering you wasn''t he?¡± I asked and he


    looked down as if he was saying yes.


    ¡°Look don''t avoid me just because of what Brayden said he''s a jealous dick¡± I smiled reassuringly at


    Aiden who looked up at me with a smile creeping up on his face.


    I noticed Aiden barely smiled but when he did it was always a small one.


    I noticed he wasn''t really your average chirpy type of person which didn¡¯t bother me all too much.


    I sighed, bing quite ufortable by the awkward silence that surrounded us.


    ¡°I''m guessing you''re not really the talkative type¡± He simply nodded making no effort to speak .


    ¡°Well it''s hard to get to know people when you don''t actually talk to them,¡± I said.


    ¡°Well people don''t exactly try to talk to me nicely¡± He said and I felt something pang in my heart.


    People were mean to him and I knew that the main one was probably Brayden.


    ¡°Well I''m not your average person. How about me and you start over?¡± He nods a slight tinge of


    confusion on his face.


    I held out my hand "My name is Roxanne Matthews" I said smiling up at him.


    Aiden smiled back at me and took my hand shaking it gently. ¡°My name is Aiden Pierce.¡±


    I chuckled a bit smiling brightly at him before saying ¡°Well nice to meet you.¡±

    I was bored now that Roxy had left a little over an hour ago.


    She was such a caring person with a don''t mess with me aura that surrounded her.


    I sighed happily at the thought that the one person that liked me was the girl I actually liked as well in if


    it was in a different way.


    All my happiness was sadly disturbed by a sudden knock at the door.


    I groaned slightly standing up from thefort of my bed walking over to answer it.


    As soon as it was open I quickly tried to close it but his reflexes were too fast.


    He pushed the door open swiftly making me lose my bnce falling over in the process.


    He walked towards me with anger and hatred, the only emotions visible in his eyes.


    ¡°You little mutt better be d she threatened to hurt me over you or I would have snapped your neck in


    half by now¡± Brayden said walking towards me pointing at me usingly.


    He kicked me in the leg which caused my crawling retreat to stop to a halt.


    I groaned, grabbing my leg as heughed menacingly over me.


    ¡°Hey Brayden I saw you¡­." Someone began speaking behind him causing both of our attention to


    snap towards the girl standing at my door.


    I recognized her as Brayden''s sister. She stood frozen in shock, a glimpse of sadness in her


    expression.


    ¡°Amelia go back to your room¡± He said to the young girl whose attention was on me.


    ¡°You hurt him¡± Her gaze moved from me as she looked up at her brother with disgust.


    He walked towards his sister and she backed away.


    What was going on the pain in my leg stopped at the sight of what unfolded in front of me.


    ¡°You''re just like him you said you wouldn''t be yet you still hurt people like he hurts me¡± She said with


    tears running down her face.


    I was so confused all I could do was stare at the two in front of me.


    ¡°No Amelia I''m nothing like dad¡± He said reassuringly reaching out for his sister who backed up.


    ¡°So it''s okay for you to hurt someone over a girl you¡¯re; ming him like dad mes me has it ever


    urred to you that maybe Roxanne doesn''t like you¡± She said crossing her arms angrily.


    Now that she waspletely in my line of sight I could tell that she was a little young, maybe a teen


    about 13 or 14.


    ¡°She does like me she has feelings for me I know it¡± He said harshly which caused his sister''s eyes to


    widen.


    Right now there were a bunch of thoughts going through my head.


    The main thought was that Brayden and the men in his family were crazy and hiding secrets I suppose


    no one else knew. Then again who doesn¡¯t have secrets.

    From the sound of it their father was abusing the young girl but why.


    ¡°Come on Amelia let''s go somewhere we can discuss this privately¡± He said to his sister who said


    nothing moving down the hall.


    Brayden watched his sister sadly before turning to look at me as he walked out shutting the door to my


    room.


    I stared in shock at my now closed door trying to figure out what the hell just happened.


    When did all these people starting to my room?


    A beat down from Brayden turned into a confusing argument between him and his sister.


    So I was guessing Brayden got his anger issues from his dad.


    I wondered what was going on between them and I wondered if Roxanne knew about it. I''ve seen her


    and the girl hanging around I''m guessing they''re close.


    The bigger question is why did Brayden leave the door open to beat me up anyways he must have


    been so angry he didn''t even think about it.


    His sister was probably heading to her room because the younger kids stayed down the hall and then


    suddenly saw her brother entering my room.


    Maybe Brayden wasn''t all that bad, maybe his past wasn''t all that great either causing him to be the


    way he is.


    I knew he had lost his mom after she had given birth to Amelia.


    So Brayden was probably misunderstood; he probably didn''t know how to express his anger.


    I don¡¯t know why I was making excuses for him but your past can definitely take a toll on you.


    I finally decided to stand up from the floor from where I hadid frozen in my spot.


    I wonder if Roxanne was asleep right now. There was so much I needed to know and too little


    information to work with.


    I headed out of my room and to the other side of the house where the girls stayed.


    I knocked on the door that had a Blue R hanging from it.


    I hope nothingpletely bizarre happens again because I don''t think my brain could take it.


    A secondter Roxy opened the door a smile appearing on her face once she saw me.


    I smiled back because I didn''t just want to be rude and hit her with a million questions.


    ¡°Can I ask you something?¡± I asked and she nodded motioning for me toe in.


    ¡°What is it¡± She asked sitting in a blue bean bag chair across from me while I sat at her desk.


    ¡°Um, do you know about the situation between Brayden and his family?¡± I asked and she nodded.


    ¡°I know a little that Amelia told me¡± She said a sad expression shing across her face.


    ¡°Why do you ask?¡± She asked, studying my face as if looking for the answer.


    ¡°Um I heard her talking about it to him and I was just wandering¡± I said, not wanting to bring back up


    the mess that happened a couple of minutes ago.


    ¡°Well she told me her mother died giving birth to her and her dad loved her mom more than anything.


    Her dad is a very coldhearted man. He mes her for it so he beats her sometimes when he gets


    angry thinking about old times¡± She said sadly looking off into space.


    ¡°Have you tried to tell anyone like your parents¡± I asked and she shook her head.


    ¡°I wanted to but she told me not to tell anyone plus they would probably either demote him or kick him


    from the pack which may only make him angrier¡± She said and I nodded.


    I sighed ¡°I know how she feels¡± I said and Roxy looked at me confusingly tilting her head to the side.


    ¡°What do you mean?¡± She asked, looking at me worriedly.


    I looked at her and sighed before saying ¡°let''s just say I have a dark past of my own.¡±

    Roxanne POV


    What did he mean when he said that he had a dark past?


    It''s been a week since he''s said it and the words were still running through my head.


    I could tell he was a little fragile but so maybe his past has something to do with that.


    I didn''t want to pester him about it just yet especially since we''re just now getting to know each other.


    I was in my room getting ready for today not knowing what it''ll lead to.


    I haven''t really done anything in a while and school wasn''t an option anymore.


    I smiled at the thought of graduating early. I was truly lucky I graduated at the age of 16.


    Anyways enough that I needed to do something fun worthy. I was dying slowly of boredom.


    I decided to pull my hair into a bun so I''ll waste less time getting ready.


    I looked at my appearance and smiled at myself in approval.


    I was wearing ck shorts decorated beautifully with a white and gray cross pattern. My ck short


    sleeved crop top stopped perfectly over my belly button and to top it off I wore my ck vans. To


    essorize a little I wore my cross ne and added my sunsses which were up on the top of my


    head.


    I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs to tell my mom I was leaving.


    I found her in the kitchen talking to the people who were getting dinner ready.


    We rotated the chores schedule so Aiden wasn''t in there.


    "Mom, I''m about to leave," I said, catching her attention making her turn around to look at me.


    She narrowed her eyes ¡°dear don''t you believe that outfit is a little revealing?¡± She asked.


    ¡°Don''t worry mom this is the maximum amount of skin I''ll be revealing for today if you know what I


    mean¡± I said winking at her.


    She red at me yfullyughing a bit. ¡°You''re silly just like your father go along then don''t stay out


    toote¡± She said.


    I nodded walking over to kiss her on the cheek goodbye.


    Once I exited the kitchen someone walking down the stairs caught my eye. It was Aiden!


    I quickly ran over having the sudden urge to invite him along with me.


    ¡°Hey Aiden, what are you doing today?¡± I asked smiling up at him.


    ¡°Nothing why¡± He asked and I felt a jolt of excitement through my body.


    ¡°Well how about youe spend the day with me?¡± I asked and his eyes widened.


    ¡°Are you sure?¡± He asked and I nodded, grabbing his hand and leading him to my car.


    I watched as he gazed at my matte ck colored dodge charger.


    ¡°Come on admiringter we have a day of awesomeness to do¡± I said and I noticed his pink tinted


    cheeks deepened from their usual shade; cute he was blushing.


    He got into my car sitting quietly as I made my way into town seeing what wonders I could find.


    We drove silently down the road the only sound being heard was the music ying softly in the


    background.


    Every once in a while I would nce at Aiden who was gazing out the window.


    Finally we made it to my first stop, an awesome shopping spree at the mall to begin our day.


    The mall was full of things to do like shopping, eating, or we could go watch a movie.


    I came because I needed to expand my wardrobe a bit. Although my birthday was in 5 months I wanted


    to start looking for some clothes so when the time came I''ll have an idea of what I wanted to wear.


    I went to a shop called Luxury101. They had some great dresses there and with Aiden here I could


    have a second opinion.


    I picked out a ckce and white colored skater dress I saw that I liked. It wasn''t too short; it went a


    little past mid thigh.


    I tried it on knocking my hair out of my bun in the process. My hair was now just flowing down my back


    in its natural waves.


    I finally got the dress on and walked out doing a twirl in front of Aiden.


    He stared at me, his mouth hanging slightly open.


    I chuckled looking at his expression. ¡°I take it that I look good¡± I said and I noticed that he was blushing


    the embarrassing red that I havee to like so much.


    I took the dress off before paying for it, exiting the shop dragging Aiden to many more stores.


    Finally I became hungry and we both agreed to go to the food court.


    Aiden bought us a pizza and we ate sitting in silence once again.

    I couldn''t help the excitement that wasing over me.


    I hoped that the news he thought was going to be bad was what I thought it was.


    "Well Roxanne you are indeed pregnant in fact 1 month in" He said and I almost exploded.


    I dropped up and down happily smiling with Aiden held me chuckling.


    The doctor nced between the both of us and smiled.


    "You know that werewolf pregnancies are different from those of humans" He said and I nodded.

    "Also you be fatter a little faster now that you''re one month you should start gaining that weight"

    After we talked some more with the doctor and he gave us some pamphlets and stuff about pregnancy


    we were off.


    We were heading home and I couldn''t help but smile my face off.

    "I know this is great I can''t wait for it to be born" He said and I nodded my head furiously.


    Then all of a sudden it hit me we have to tell everyone.

    We were so excited about me being pregnant we forgot about the people that also had to know.

    We soon arrived home. The short drive was actually quite draining.

    "Um hey guys uh me and Roxy have some good news" He said nervously and everyone smiled.


    "Roxy is pregnant" He said and the room fell silent.


    The first one to break the silence as my mom.


    "I''m going to be a grandmother" She said and afterwards everyone cheered.

    I was so excited today was the day I''ve been waiting for.

    There was a knock at the door and I sighed going to open it.

    Brayden decided to join us and we all talked until we had to go downstairs.


    I took a deep breath once I reached the party room.


    Everyone was seated at the tables and my grandfather was on the stage.

    We sat down with everyone talking until we were called to the stage.

    While my grandfather was talking I zoned out a bit.


    "Do you Aiden Pierce wish to take the full responsibility and troubles of the pack and be their new

    "Well I now announce you two as the new Alpha and Luna" He yelled into the crowd.


    Everyone cheered and I smiled waving at my family.


    I ran hugging Aiden once I reached him.


    I rubbed my stomach and smiled into the crowd.


    This was my new life and I loved it. I was with my mate having his child and ruling the pack.

    I really couldn''t believe this I was now Alpha.


    As soon as Roxy agreed to being Luna everyone cheered.


    She ran up to me hugging me and I smiled down at her.


    Who would have known my life would end up like this.


    I was now Alpha with an amazing mate.

    I was waddling around the kitchen fixing me some toast.

    I looked down at my bloated stomach and frowned.


    "You bettere out soon" I said poking my belly.


    In return I received a kick to the belly I winced at the pain.

    "Let''s go see your father" I said, finishing up the toast and heading to Aiden''s office.


    Over the couple of months his face had changed a bit not too much.


    The only thing really noticeable was his stubble.


    I opened the door and he looked up smiling at me.


    He stood up walking towards me. "How are my 2 babies" He asked kissing my forehead.


    "We''re both doing fine" I said hugging him.

    I found herughing and talking to Brayden in the living room.


    I had dragged Roxy along with me and she had a pained expression on her face.


    "Rachele on" I yelled at her and she stared at me worriedly.


    "Is everything okay" She asked and I nodded.


    "Your sister''s water broke" I said and her eyes widened.


    She grabbed her bag following us as I ran to the car.


    Brayden said he''ll follow us in his car.


    I shoved Roxy in the backseat as gentle as I could.


    I got into the front seat while Rachel slid in the backforting her groaning sister.
