《The Wolf Who hated alphas》 Chapter 1 – Intruders There were wolves running against her, just a frightened child before animals three times her size. A red g of a grey wolf was fixed right in front of him. ¡°Sera!¡± ¨C A female voice screamed. The child felt her body being hugged strongly. Thest show of affection she would feel until now. Brown eyes and a gentle smile were directed at her. Her mother caressed her face lightly, took a red scarf from her own neck and wrapped it around hers. ¡°It¡¯s cold, Sera. Wear it whenever you want to feel safe. I¡¯ll be with you right now.¡± And with onest smile, there was only blood. The girl tried to say something, but there were only tears. Sera woke up with a scream stuck in her throat. Long ago she didn¡¯t hear her own voice. She didn¡¯t remember how it sounded anymore. Would it be thin? Mncholy? Dragged in? There were no more memories in her mind. Even in her dreams, she couldn¡¯t hear something that hadn¡¯t existed for 10 years. Her home was not a fairy-tale house, or a house like any young her age. It was just a cabin in the woods, with nothing special. A perfect ce for anyone to find. Sera tied her ck hair in a bun, imagining that she would never get used to the silence. It had been two days since she heard any sound. There were no heavy footsteps or screams. Nor was anything being broken or the sound of your body being pushed against the wall. Even so, she still did not believe her torment was over. As she prepared her lunch, the knife fell. Sera was frightened, for a few seconds her body paralyzed. The young woman waited for a punishment. But nothing happened. Her body trembled, still waiting for a reaction by her mistake. But again, nothing happened. Sera leaned on the table and sighed in relief. There was no more danger for her. No more. She drank her vegetable soup in peace, not knowing what to do now. Suddenly, something took her attention. Something somon to others, but so precious to her¡ Rain. A simple rain. The young woman ran barefoot out of the hut, her scarf got wet, but she didn¡¯t mind. Sara danced beneath the drops, smiling. It was something I would never be allowed to do, other than just observe from the inside. Now, she felt free. But freedom could also frighten. Soon, her mind led her to a thought of insecurity, as if she were making some mistake, after all, this was something she could not do before. What would be of her now? Who would be beyond the person who obeyed orders and was used as an object? How could she think she¡¯d be free if her mind wasn¡¯t?Content ? N?velDrama.Org. Sera began to panic, she got down on her knees and felt her heart race and her breath getting faster and faster. The air seemed to becking and painful memories came to her mind. Fear took hold of her. What she was supposed to do? There was no one there to help her. Well, it never was, it had always been only Sera as her own support. Finally her scarf falls lightly on his shoulder and the memory of her motheres to mind. And so Sera calmed down, taking deep breaths, regaining control. Suddenly, he seemed to hear something out of the trees. Sera looked around and there was nothing. It was just an impression. Maybe being around that ce didn¡¯t do her any good. I was having hallucinations and also panicking about something that should have been her salvation. Taking the red cape that was her mother¡¯s, Sera walked through the forest, her onlypany since she will move there. However, there was something different this time. A noise was heard again, and this time, Sera was sure it existed. She hid among the trees and put her mouth in an automatic act. There were several men and women and young men dressed in grey with the symbol of the grey wolf in their jackets. Sera tried to contain the surprise. What were these people doing in a ce as isted as that? Were they after her? Thest of her n? Her mind worked quickly, trying to escape in the best way. Should she sneak? Run? Greet? What would they do with someone like her? No voice? In a quick thought, she heard a male voice say, ¡°Let¡¯s go, we¡¯lle back tomorrow.¡± ¨C She heard a tall, muscr man say, probably the alpha of the gang. Sera could not recognize, had lost his wolf long ago when they forced her to be removed from her. This made her an ordinary human, far inferior to all wolves. When the movement of the strangers began, she took the opportunity to run away, not noticing that a thread of her scarf was stuck in a branch of a tree. She ran like never before, entering the hut, the only ce there could be any security, even knowing that any wolf could attack the site with ease. Sera sat on the floor, trembling with fear. Tears flowed down her face. How long would she be this weak? She hated who made her feel that way. Her hands trembled, she couldn¡¯t do anything. I couldn¡¯t believe that those who murdered her mother could do the same to her. Her mother¡¯s smile came to her mind and Sera tightened her scarf, gaining some courage. There should be something there that could help her. For once, she should do something for herself. Running to a room that made her cough and sneeze for a few seconds due to time that was untouched, the young woman searched for files that her mother had left for her. That man never allowed Sera to touch them. Her brown eyes ran through all the papers until they saw a booklet written: WolfPaws Boarding School, the best for his young werewolf on the rise. That was the school where her mother had studied. However, Sera was not a wolf like her. Not one that could fight. However, it was her only chance to change her life. And when a paper with golden letters fell to the ground, Sera knew there was a chance for her. After so much suffering, there could be hope. Chapter 2 – Decisions The golden letters were written in impable handwriting: ¡°Dear Ada, I speak to you of WolfPaws College to ensure the admission of your daughter, Sera Cohen to my institution when she turns 18. As you have been our outstanding student and contributed too much to our college, Sera will have a safe ce at WolfPaws to learn and be a young woman of exceptional talent and training. Grateful. Director Cordelia Dawood¡± Sera reread it several times. She didn¡¯t believe she had a safe ce for herself. A smile filled her lips until two questions came to her mind: The first, there was no more sign of her wolf within, and certainly not the little girl Cordelia imagined. Would the director ept someone on special terms? Sera sat on the cold floor of the hut and thought about what to do. With her hands on her knee, the girl soon realized that there were not many options. Her enemies would soon return and could find her easily. Already, leaving a forest to go to an unknown ce was not equally simpler. ¡°I have to decide.¡± ¨C Thought nibbling on the fingers of anxiety. Sera knew that he was ¡°weak¡±, could not cope with fighting wolves, much less when they were transformed. If I was caught, I¡¯d be killed or worse, I¡¯d go back to my old life of terror. A small anxiety seized her and she felt her body shiver in the midst of nausea, remembering how she was mistreated and treated unfairly. For a moment she thought of putting the knife de on her own neck. But a small spark came into her mind and tears fell from her eyes. Why didn¡¯t she deserve to be happy like other people? Didn¡¯t she deserve a chance? And with that in mind, Sera had already made her decision. ¡ª¨C The night was cold that day. The moon shone high in the sky and even with so many evil events in her life, Sera still believed that the mother of wolves was with her. And it was his voice that she listened to to hold on when marks of fear and hatred were made on her body. And it was Mother¡¯s voice that probably spoke to Sera so that she wouldn¡¯t give up at that moment. The girl took a deep breath and entered the room, a feeling of repulsion struck her as she watched the bed that had already been the stage of so much suffering. Her vision was finally directed to the wardrobe, where there was nothing but men¡¯s clothes and a single female. Sera¡¯s hand trembled as she touched the red fabric. She had never been allowed to touch the piece. Not even when I wanted to remind you of your mother with one of the few she had left. After all, dirty little things should not touch something so pure and beautiful. Removing the dress from the hanger and cing it on the bed, she removed her own. The cloth made of white and dirty rags was thrown to the ground, and she covered her body full of scars that Sera did not like to remember, with the red dress of puffing stalls. The V-neck did not cover her greatest shame and so it would have to be fixed. Sera briefly observed the scarf she had left in bed and knew it would be ridiculous to put it with such a beautiful piece, but nothing would make her leave her safe haven. With a sigh, Sera returned to her old clothes and began to work. A short cor that would cover her scars was already of good size. When she was about to fall asleep, she heard a slight noise that awoke her. She watched the surroundings and there was nothing. Sera swallowed it dry, her fear probably was speaking for her. If they were, the blood wolves would have already invaded the ce. She sighed with relief and took courage for what to do, which would be the decisive step in her life. He began to prepare to go out. She drank the soup he had taken early in the morning and began his new work. She put maps, notebooks and pencils in an old backpack and put her hood and scarf above the red dress again. ¡°Come on! Courage, Sera! You¡¯ve been through worse. A change of life is nothing¡¡± She thought to herself, but thinking was easier than doing. Her hands trembled, she squeezed her fingers marking her skin and could feel the sweat slightly wet her hair.Content ? N?velDrama.Org 2024. The first step was difficult. Going out in the rain to go back to the house was something, but getting out of there to maybe a worse ce was something else. Sera knew it was the only option. But she still felt that insecurity in her chest. She sighed deeply and said mentally, ¡°Courage, Courage, Courage.¡± And so he finally took the first step. Mother Moon still lit the sky, and the fresh wind of the Forest stroked Sera¡¯s hair, making her smile. The forest was a familiar ce for her, a ce where she would be far from home and safe among the trees. However, alphas would always find her, even if nature could help her dy her suffering a little. And that was one of the reasons why Sera hated and feared alphas above all other wolves. Because they were always found and superior to others. Her father was an alpha, the one who abused her for years was an alpha. Someone who was supposed to protect her pack and her cubs. But it had never been like that, not with her. So alphas were unreliable. These thoughts of hatred made her forget a little where she was and her purpose. Upon hearing a sound of a bird, Sera rposed herself and continued to walk to the exit of the Forest. That had been their home for years, the only ce they ¡°should¡± be. The sounds of the Night Forest frightened her as she moved, but she could not risk being caught by the blood wolves. Her steps were precise so he wouldn¡¯t slip on a log or something, not that it hadn¡¯t already happened. Was it minutes or hours? Sera couldn¡¯t tell. She was tired, her legs hurt and now an old shlight was in her hands, lighting the way. In a few steps, she saw a different illumination, the end of the Forest and the beginning of an ancient civilization. Holding the map tightly, she prepared to find the WolfPaws college, not realizing that yellow eyes were watching her. Chapter 3 – The Fourth Clan Sera pressed the scarf against her neck, time had suddenly cooled. The vige outside the Forest was empty, there was no living soul in the ce but Sera. There was nothing to do but walk. There were old newspapers stuck in the walls talking about a massacre. However, they were faded and the light of thentern was not strong enough to illuminate to the point that Sera continued reading. She continued to walk, even though strange noises made her tremble with fear. But as she looked around, there was no one. It had been a few hours, how many she did not know, however, the sun was already rising and Sera was far from home, which was a relief. With the daying, Sera was finally able to see a friendlier spot ahead. It looked like a city after a big bridge that connected the abandoned vige to it. Already at the end of the bridge, Sera arrived in the city. It was not a big ce, but it was busy. There were cars from one side to the other, which made the girl cover her ears for theck of habit with the noise. Also, there were several shops illuminated with colored lights that sold various things, from food to clothes and trinkets. However, something caught Sera¡¯s attention. A small coffee maker called Mystic Coffee, a ce that looked cozy and cute with a dark blue facade with golden stars. Sera sat in thefortable blue armchair and first picked up a menu. She pointed to a simple cappino and paid an amount she couldn¡¯t tell if it was fair or not. The money the old man kept had been useful after all. While savoring her drink, Sera took the opportunity to ask for information, writing down on the paper where the Wolf Paws school was and how to get there. The attendant responded with a pity smile upon realizing that Sera really could not speak. The young wolf did not feelfortable with the girl¡¯s expression, they all looked at her the same way when they learned of her condition? She thanked with a smile and headed towards the train as she had been informed by the attendant. The station was not far away. Sera walked hurriedly and excited because it finally seemed that life would take a different direction. Until everything falls apart in a few seconds, not everything, just her and someone else. ¡°Hey! Don¡¯t look where you¡¯re going, weirdo? Who wears a scarf in this heat?¡± Sera hurried to write in his notebook: ¡°I¡¯m sorry. I didn¡¯t see you.¡± Yellow, arrogant eyes looked at her angrily. The young man stood up unaided, wiping the dark blue pants of the uniform. A strange force caused Sera¡¯s attention to remain fixed on him. ¡°Hey, are you okay? It was a bad fall.¡± A man of slender body came to Sera with a gant smile, reaching out his hand. She could see the wolf symbol with a blue paw in the background in his dark blue jacket that covered the white shirt when he shook his hand. ¡°I do not need your help, Aurelius.¡± ¨C Said the boy who bumped into her with an angry voice. ¡°I¡¯m asking the beautiful girl, Ramesses. Obviously I wasn¡¯t talking to a brat like you.¡± ¨C Aurelius replied. ¡°The girl doesn¡¯t seem to want to talk. She looks like a rookie and has to get on the train. And besides, for all I know, Joshua, you already have your own unfinished business.¡± Who spoke thest sentence, was an elegant woman with curly hair and a calm voice that could calm even the most ferocious animal: ¡°Don¡¯t be scared of silly boys, rookie. My name is Nayssa Obiyoe, I¡¯m a 2-year-old from lupine magic college. I can help you if I need to.¡± ¨C She said extending his bony hand to Sera. ¡°Co-excuses.¡± ¨C A soft voice said. Thest person was a girl with a gentle, fluffy smile, with freckles on her slightly full, rosy cheeks. She approached them with a ashamed expression. Sera noticed how her full bust left her shirt slightly open when she walked awkwardly. ¡°I must receive Sera Abrams and take her to the train.¡± ¡°Who?¡± She thought for a moment. A lot was happening at the same time. Until she realized it was herself, only with her mother¡¯sst name. Sera raised her hand and the gentle smiling girl approached.N?velDrama.Org owns this. ¡°Pleasure, I¡¯m Kyria Waish, school monitor Wolf Paws. Wee to school, I¡¯ll be your guide there.¡± ¡°Thank you, Kyria. I¡¯m Sera, nice to meet you.¡± ¨C She wrote. Sera looked at the new acquaintancesing in as she sat in the first avable wagon with Kyria. ¡°They attract attention, don¡¯t they?¡± ¨C Kyria said. ¡± They are the firstborn of the great ns, so nobody cares much about what they do.¡± Curious, Sera asked, writing in her notebook: ¡°What ns are there?¡± ¡°We have 3 main ns that rule the world, there was a 4 ish, but he was decimated¡± Upon hearing this, Sera felt the hairs of her arms shiver. ¡°The ns are: Aurelius, the warriors. Cherish strength and military skills above all. His firstborn is Joshua Aurelius, someone who is gant. It¡¯s his first year at WolfPaws, they say he had some bullshit with his second family.¡± ¡°A quarrel? What kind?¡± ¨C Sera wrote, wanting to know more. Kyria stopped for a few seconds, trying to remember the details. ¡°A fight over something he did a few years ago for the Obiyoe, I don¡¯t know what it was.¡± ¨C Her voice trembled at thest part. ¡± But I know you don¡¯t like each other.¡± Noticing Sera¡¯s attention to her nts, she continued: ¡°The Obiyoe are artisans, responsible for weapons and magical instruments, including medicinal. They are very rich and recognized. The eldest daughter, Nayssa is called the lonely Maiden, for not having an omega yet. She has rejected all marriages to date.¡± Sera vaguely remembered about the hierarchy of wolves. There were the alphas, the leaders and future leaders of each pack. Some were already born with Mother¡¯s blessing to be alpha, others became. There were also the omega, the partners of the alphas and scarce, few had this blessing. They were the most apt to marry noble alphas. And of course, Blessings that used to be the mostmon and least in demand. ¡°Are all the firstborn of the ns alphas?¡± ¨C Sera asked. Kyria confirmed. ¡°Yeah. That¡¯s why they¡¯re so in demand.¡± ¡°Ramesses is also an alpha?¡± Right after she asked, she regretted it. Of course she could feel only by the energy he emanated. ¡°Karim? Yes, he¡¯s an alpha. As cranky as possible.¡± Seraughed at thatment and paid attention to Kyria¡¯s next line. ¡°He is of thest family, the Ramesses. They are the spies and elite soldiers stronger than the Aurelius. They do the ¡°dirty work¡±, so to speak.¡± At that moment, Kyria approached Sera¡¯s ear to whisper something. ¡°They say it was they who decimated thest n.¡± Sera looked at her with an unknown expression, wanting to know more. ¡°Cohen.¡± ¨C Upon hearing that name, Sera trembled. ¡°The Cohens were decimated for treason by the Ramesses¡± Thatst name was her father¡¯s, that is, yours. She remembered the arrogant expression of Karim Ramesses. Sera thought he was free from her past. But now he was getting closer and more dangerous. Chapter 4 – Curses He was in front of her again. The belt in your hands. His stern gaze just pointed to the table. Sera already knew what to do, she took off her dress,y down against the cold surface and bit her lips when her punishment began. The pain took her mind elsewhere, to vibrant yellow eyes and hairs of a blood-covered wolf. Sera woke up panting, she shook her hands in the train seat and did her best to breathe. ¡°Yeah? Okay? What happened? Can you breathe?¡± She looked at Kirya¡¯s worried expression, it was different. No one had ever directed such a look at her. However, her focus was short-lived. Her breathing and heart were getting faster and faster and she thought she was going to faint. ¡°Yuji, get her a bottle of water.¡± ¨C A female voice said. Deep blue eyes looked into Sera¡¯s eyes. ¡°Take a deep breath and release slowly.¡± ¨C The ck-haired woman said. And Sera obeyed him. ¡°Yes, youngdy. Go on.¡± ¨C Her voice was firm and pacifying. And Sera made it until her heart and breath calmed. The water came and helped her return to her normal state. ¡°How does it feel?¡± ¨C The woman asked. ¡°Well, thank you so much¡¡± ¡°Yelena Petrova, pleasure. I am from the family of doctors. And what is the name of my new patient and her friend?¡± ¨C She asked, looking at Kirya. ¡°Sera Abrams and this is Kyria Waish, nice to meet you Yelena.¡± she wrote and smiled as she did it under her mother¡¯s name. Yelena smiled and kissed lightly on both their cheeks. ¡°I hope to meet my patient more often¡± ¨C she said, taking a little longer with Sera. And so he went with Yuji after her, looking angry. ¡°How do you feel, Sera?¡± ¨C Kirya asked. Sera smiled and, with a nod, confirmed that she was fine. Time spent on the train, the fresh airndscape helped Sera to think clearly. She was really in trouble, first of all, she didn¡¯t have a wolf in her. I¡¯m sure they¡¯d ask about it. From what she realized, people didn¡¯t care about herck of speech. Which left her a little more relieved. But there was still onest problem. Karim Ramesses was still bothering her. Why had he met so early? The firstborn of the n who decimated his and left her an orphan mother. If he found out who Sera was, he certainly wouldn¡¯t bring something good. She swallowed it hard thinking about it, she¡¯d have to watch out for him. ¡°Hey, Sera!. We¡¯re here.¡± ¨C Her new friend said. The ce was beautiful, Sera took a deep breath of fresh forest air. Tall trees closed the passage, except where the train passed. Sera lightly touched the leaves of the trees that entered through the window until the vehicle stopped. ¡°Come on. I¡¯ll introduce you to the school.¡± ¨C Kyria dragged her out, smiling. ¡°I hope the director doesn¡¯t kick me out by noticing that I¡¯m different than she thinks.¡± Getting off the train, she came across a tall building full of Torres. ¡°Each tower is a different year.¡± ¨C Kyria exined. Sera observed the towers and they were all erased. They continued to arge, massive wooden door that was open. The interior of the ce was nothing different from the other schools that Sera had seen in books. There were stairs leading to different towers and cabs in the corridors. Kyria presented the locations to Sera in a lively way. From the cafeteria to the recreation rooms, it turned out to be a boarding school. However, something else caught Sera¡¯s attention:. Whispers. ¡°Did you hear that? This year, the four great ns areing together. They say there¡¯s a curse involved with their union.¡± ¡°What a load of crap.¡± ¡°These are just stories.¡± ¡°Nancy Rivera disappeared, could it be the curse? ¡± ¡°Of course not. Everyone knows that Nancy hides in Jacob Lite¡¯s face. She hasn¡¯t arrived yet. They must be making out and forgot the time.¡± ¡°Stay calm, nothing¡¯s going to happen. After all. They need the four ns and he¡¯s all wiped out.¡± Upon hearing this phrase, Sera¡¯s heart stopped for a moment. She was thest moment of the 4 ish n, was she bringing something bad to the ce? Upon noticing that Sera had stopped in ce, Kyria said: ¡°Don¡¯t pay attention to the bullshit the ult club is spreading around. It¡¯s just silly stories to scare people. Everyone is excited to see the 3 ns together in the same ce. Don¡¯t worry.¡± But it didn¡¯t help her. Stories were never just stories. Her mind dispersed from the situation when Kyria took her towards the library. ¡°Thomas should already be there. I¡¯m sure you¡¯ll get along. ¡± Outside, Nayssa was leaving the scene and a slender boy was following her. He was very much like her, the difference was the short hair and the sses. ¡°Ah, hello, Sera and Kyria¡±. ¨C the woman said with a smile, before leaving them. ¡± It¡¯s great to see them again.¡± Kyria smiled, a little embarrassed, but soon recovered and said: ¡°Sera, this is my best friend and library manager, Thomas Abiyoe. Thomas, this is Sera Abrams, new student.¡± Thomas waved and made some gestures that Sera did not understand. ¡°He weed you. Thomas is deaf and uses signnguage tomunicate.¡± Sera smiled, not knowing why it wasforting to meet someone different just like her. ¡°Thank you, Thomas. Nice to meet you. I hope we¡¯re friends.¡± Thomas gave him a gentle smile and asked them toe into the library. The ce wasrge, full of books. It was supposed to be a library. Sera kept in his memory the way to the ce to exploreter. ¡°Here.¡± ¨C Thomas signaled. They were papers to deliver to the board. Sera felt great relief to see that he asked nothing about his wolf. Only name, address and schooling. Of course, thisst part was veryplicated, but she hoped that the director would help her. The girls said goodbye to Thomas and Kyria kept showing everything to Sera with her typical animation. Until they bumped into someone. A blond boy looked at them angrily. ¡°Waish, don¡¯t look where you¡¯re going? Still a clumsy whale as always.¡± ¨C Heughed. Obviously Kyria did not like thement at all, but she did not say anything, embarrassed, about to cry. Sera was angry about it. And he wrote quickly in his notebook. ¡°One should not talk to people like that. Apologize.¡± ¨C She wrote quickly, helping Kyria to get up. The boyughed. Especially when his friends joined him. ¡°The girl without tongue wants to fight with us.¡± ¨C Heughed. ¡± Why don¡¯t you talk, ein? Mute.¡± ¨C Said, throwing Sera¡¯s notebook on the floor. Sera approached him, imposing himself more and more. However, the boy did not seem intimidated. Until she heard a voice, known, he wished to avoid. ¡°Can¡¯t you stop bumping into anyone, freak?¡± Karim stood in front of her and everyone walked away, like puppies obeying the owner. Sera came even closer to him with an expression of anger, raised his head, showing imposition. He would not let anyone else humiliate him. ¡°What is it? Are you afraid to speak?¡±All content ? N/.?vel/Dr/ama.Org. Sera didn¡¯t move, just stared at him without lowering his head. His yellow eyes stared at her in anger and his fangs were exposed. Sera knew to stay away from Karim and not get his attention. Now there was no way. She had already be his target. Chapter 5- The Lost Wolf Sera did not expect to go this way to the board. On the first day, because she had gotten into a fight. And now the three of them were in Principal Cord¨¦lia Dawood¡¯s office, and the 70-year-old¡¯s blue eyes expressed no happiness. And of course, Sera didn¡¯t like it at all. She looked at Karim and the blond boy and they didn¡¯t seem to care at all, as if they had already been through this situation several times. The director took a long breath and the fringe of her short hair covered her eyes for a moment. ¡°Mr Ramesses and Mr Rie, I think you gentlemen think my office is a tourist spot to visit so many times.¡± The boys looked down, ashamed. ¡°And you, Miss Abrams. Even if I was defending a friend, pushing Lord Ramesses to the ground is not something I can leave unpunished.¡± Sera looked away embarrassed, she did not know how it had happened. Only that he was on the floor, secondster. ¡°Detention of two days for Miss Abrams and Mr Ramesses and two weeks for Mr Rie.¡± ¡°What? But¡¡± ¨C Rie asked. ¡°Quiet, before I turn it up to three weeks. Now, you may leave my office. Except you, Miss Abrams.¡± Sera swallowed hard upon hearing that she would be the only one to stay. She felt herself again in the chair and waited for her punishment. However, nothing came from you but a gentle smile. ¡°I¡¯m d you¡¯ve be someone who protects your friends, Sera. Unfortunately, I can¡¯t not send you to detention with them.¡± Sera smiled and wrote:¡± Thank you, ma¡¯am.¡± Cordelia looked at her with an expression that the young woman could not define, concern? Pity? There was no way to know.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. ¡°Prepare yourself, tomorrow will be the day each new student will present your wolf.¡± Sera felt her hands tremble as she heard this. But she said nothing. I did not want to abuse this hospitality. ¡°Do not worry, dear. ¨C the woman put her hand on her shoulder and smiled. ¡± You are safe here.¡± ¨C said, taking the form from her hand. On leaving, Kyria was waiting for her. The day had passed quickly and they should rest. Sera noticed that he looked at her, irritated. It was not for nothing, because a little girl knocked him down. But what she didn¡¯t know is that something inside her kept him from fighting back, fearing to hurt her. Sera tried to apologize, saying she didn¡¯t mean to, but Karim simply turned to get out of there, avoiding looking into those kind, kind eyes. ¡ª¡ª ¡°Are you anxious?¡± ¨C asked the redhead when they entered the room they would share. Sera was happy to have someone to share the room with. Kyria¡¯s old roommate had moved in, so she was left without a roommate. ¡°Make yourself at home.¡± Sera put her few things on the bed of white sheets and sat down. The room was ordinary, withrge windows and mustard-colored curtains, the whole ce was blue and mustard, like the colors of the college. Sera didn¡¯t care much about it, as long as she could rest. And shey down, without worrying about eating anything. ¡ª¡ª- It was cold and windy. He dragged her hard by the arm. ¡°Where is mom?¡± ¨C the 6-year-old cried. ¡°Your mother can¡¯t help you now, not after the sleeping pill I gave her. Don¡¯t you think you¡¯re too much of a whiny child? Wanting your mother to always protect you? Weak child. Look what your barren mother gave me. An inferior child and a woman who cries for everything.¡± The girl tried to let go, but the bearded man was tall and strong, she was no match for him. He continued to pull until they reached a small hut where the eagerness of the pack lived. Ady with dark skin and long white hair trapped in braids. She bowed before him. ¡°How can I be useful to the alpha of the pack?¡± ¡°I need you to remove that girl¡¯s wolf.¡± The woman looked at him, surprised. Without believing what she heard. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, sir. But maybe I didn¡¯t hear you right.¡± ¡°Remove this girl¡¯s wolf, if not her family is next.¡± And with sadness in her eyes, the elder did. Sera was ced in a circle with drawing of all phases, the moon and the statue of the Mother in a long dress with wolves beside her, the front of the drawing. Sera was ced there and the elder began the process. As she spoke, the girl felt her body twitch. She screamed and screamed, her veins burned and her body and bones hurt. Her body folded U-shaped and the girl felt something being removed inside her, as if it were a piece of the soul. ¡°Stop!. Stop! Mom, help me¡ Mom¡¡± ¨C she screamed with tears in her eyes. But no one came to help her. Sera woke up, scared and scared. She couldn¡¯t breathe. It was suffocating to remember that. The pain had returned to her body. Young wanted to scream, but she knew it was unreal pain. ¡°Sera, all right? You slept all night. It¡¯s time to go.¡± She calmed down. She took a deep breath and hurried to put on her uniform, lucky she didn¡¯t have to pay for it. Throughout the meal, Sera thought of the shame that would pass in not being able to transform. While Kyria guided her towards the clearing, Sera thought of several ns. However, none of them had a satisfactory result. She squeezed her fingers, marking her hands throughout the journey, feeling nervous. Upon arriving at the clearing, there was a woman at the site, teacher Sue Adams, with ck skin and red hair. ¡°Today, the rookies introduced their wolves. Wolves usually perform at age 6, so none of this should be difficult for you. We just need to analyze your strength level.¡± Sera swallowed hard, she would be expelled by showing no strength? There were not many new students. Only Sera and three others. A blonde girl, a ck boy and a Korean. The clearing was a cozy ce. Sera could take off her shoes and feel the freshness of the grass and breathe the fresh air to prepare. What she did not expect was a heap of students watching everything. ¡°Do not be nervous, veterans always watch us.¡± ¨C Kyria said. Of course that information did not help her at all and only made her more nervous, squeezing her fingers with her nails until she bled a little. Especially seeing that Karim was there watching her. She looked away and focused on the newbies. Each one transformed perfectly and Sera imagined the shame that it would be just her to fail. With no options, she stepped forward. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Sera called for her wolf. He asked her toe to her if she was still there. And something surprising happened. She appeared. A light brown wolf with white spots and intense yellow eyes. Sera knelt before that vision, but the wolf seemed hurt. She walked slowly to the young woman, but when Sera touched her, an expression of pain came to her face. The wolf moved away and Sera¡¯s body twisted, as it had done as a child. She wanted to scream, however, her voice did note out. The wolf disappeared and Sera¡¯s eyes turned yellow, but she did not transform. She just screamed inwardly without making any sound. The pain of that day came to her body and when she couldn¡¯t take it anymore, she fainted. Thest thing she felt was strong arms taking her. Chapter 6 – Shouting She saw the brown wolf again. The animal had a serene and confident appearance. Sera tried to approach, but there was a barrier between them. The woman heard the wolf¡¯s howl and the animal heard her wail. But there was nothing they could do but feel their separation. Sera woke up in a ce where everything was white. A headache made her keep her eyes closed. The sense of loss could still be felt by her. ¡°Say nothing to her.¡± ¨C Sera heard Karim say and, soon after, detected increasingly distant steps. Finally, Sera managed to open her eyes. Next to her were Kyria and Thomas, worried. Sera smiled and took her notebook that was next to her. ¡°I¡¯m fine. Don¡¯t look at me like that. What happened?¡± ¡°You got weird. Your body twitched and your eyes turned yellow. It sounded like you were screaming. I thought you were going to die. But, only fainted.¡± ¨C Kyria said relieved. Sera thought about it for a moment. As she couldn¡¯t reach her wolf, her body probably went into shock. However, she did not have time to say anything, as Cordelia entered the room. The headmistress asked her friends to leave so she could talk to Sera alone. The woman sat next to her and asked in a serious but angry way. ¡°Someone removed your wolf from you, Sera. Who was it?¡± The young woman looked away, ashamed, not knowing the reason for that feeling. Guilt took hold of her, perhaps because she felt weak. ¡°It was him¡± ¨C she wrote. ¡°My father.¡± ¨C His lyrics came out a little shaky and almost piercing the paper. ¡°At the age of six.¡± Cordelia looked at her with a mixture of pity and surprise. And in a gesture of affection, she hugged her. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, honey. You¡¯re safe here. I promise. We¡¯ll find a way to help you get your wolf back.¡± Cordelia did not know what to say. Only these words remained. ¡°Rest a little more.¡± ¨C Said withdrawing from the site. Sera closed her eyes and when she opened them again, only Kyria was by her side, as Thomas had work in the library. ¡°Who brought me here? Thomas?¡± ¨C Sera asked curious, after all felt strong arms holding her, and well, did not seem the case of her new friend. Kyria looked around, as if there was no one else around. And then she approached Sera¡¯s ear and whispered. ¡°It was Karim.¡± ¨C Sera widened her eyes upon hearing such a name. ¡± He almost transformed, his eyes became even more yellow, if at all possible. So he stood in front of you and he caught you. He didn¡¯t let anyone near him. He wanted to protect you at all costs.¡± Sera didn¡¯t know how to process that information. After all, Karim should be her enemy. Why would he protect her? ___ A few hours passed and she was able to leave the ward. The young woman reassured Kyria, and said that she would just take a quick shower. She heard wolves before that. But, it should be normal in a college like that. The bathroom was empty, which relieved her. At least the shower box brought her some privacy. She removed her clothes, showing the scars on her skinny body. She turned on the shower, avoiding thinking about them and the one that brought her more shame. She closed the shower, drying and changing, leaving his hairst. As it dried, he felt the sensation of being observed. That sensation had never passed since the day he left home. But she avoided thinking about it. After all, if not even a dark forest attacked her, why would they do it in a safe ce like WolfPaws? Sera wished to be right. However, this was not the case. Time seemed to close, shadows appeared around the bathroom and she tried to escape. Unfortunately, she was unsessful when she saw a gloomy lupine figure, made of ck and blue shadows, without sharp eyes and teeth. ¡°Thest n is here, the n that hurt me so much, the one that abandoned me. That woman¡¯s child is here. And from what I feel, she can¡¯t even scream.¡± ¨C The voice said somberly with a sadisticugh. Sera should shout. It was what could save her. But no matter how hard she tried, the voice wouldn¡¯te out. Unconsciously, she remembered thest time she did. Sera didn¡¯t know what her mistake was this time. She hadn¡¯t knocked anything down and the food wasn¡¯t bad. Maybe his mistake was just existing. She was thrown against the wall, he squeezed her neck, making more marks than those already there. Sera tried to breathe, but her grip grew stronger, causing her gaze to lose focus. He threw her on the table, face down, with his back turned towards him. The man tore her dress, the same as she had already sewn several times. Sera tried to cling to the table when he touched her from behind, the girl did not scream, did not cry, did not expose any reaction. She just wanted to breathe, but he still kept his hands around his neck. Until something different happened that day. Sera felt something hot in her body. She was frightened to see a hot iron in his hands. Sera screamed when he marked her, for years she had not heard her own voice. But that day she screamed as loud as she could, trying to cling to the table, but her hands just slipped. He cursed her, demanding that she be quiet. She was used to cursing, but could not stop screaming. Tears of pain trickled down her eyes. Sera could smell her burning skin and felt useless for failing to stop. Her vision was already blurred when she felt him go deeper and deeper inside her. In the end, she couldn¡¯t take it without erasing. When she opened her eyes, his residue dripped down her legs. The tears slide even hotter down her face. Sera was soiled once more and now humiliated even more, as if it were just an object with a mark of property on its body. All content ? N/.?vel/Dr/ama.Org. ¡± Clean that up.¡± ¨C That¡¯s all you could hear from that voice you hated so much. And that was thest time she screamed until now. Somehow, her voice came out. She screamed with all her might, asking for help. And she came, in the form of a gray wolf with whom she had already dreamed. Chapter 7 – Lack Sera closed her eyes and both wolves disappeared. Her breathing elerated and she began to sway. Her pressure dropped and the panic took her again. Why was she so weak? Her breath became more and more panting and she tried to take a deep breath and let go slowly, as Yelena had taught. Sera began to calm down, but fear was still present in her bones. ¡°Sera¡± Someone shouted at her, it was Kyria. Thomas was after her and as surprising as it was, Karim. He stood before everyone and knelt in front of her. ¡°What happened, weirdo? You ¡°are¡± pale. Someone attacked you?¡± He held her by the shoulders and shook her, looking surprisingly worried. ¡°Hey. Take it easy. She¡¯s scared.¡± ¨C Kyria said. And so she was taken to the ward. Again. Sera was getting tired of all this repetition. The doctor sent everyone out and made her sit on the bed. Sera watched as she examined her. A woman of gentle smile, short ck hair and light pinkb coat. ¡°What happened dear? Your heart is still racing.¡± Sera lied, wrote that she had a panic attack. Well, she did. In fact, she only hid a few details. Who would believe her? And maybe it was all in her mind. It was what she wanted to believe. Samantha asked her to rest a little, and that she would prescribe some medicines for her. Seray down and did not imagine that she was so tired. However, crises always left her exhausted. Even so, her dreams were not peaceful. Fire was spreading throughout the forest, she heard screams even if there was no body left. But he who cried was not worthy of his mercy. Sera woke up, sweating. ¡°Hey, youngdy. Calm down. These crises are quite recurring from the looks of it.¡± ¨C Yelena said, giving her a ss of water with the prescribed medicine. Sera thanked, looking at the girl with blue eyes, curious. ¡°I started helping out in the infirmary recently. While the doctor, Ty is not present.¡± ¡°But, I¡¯m also curious.¡± ¨C Yelena approached their faces. ¡± About the curse that surrounds the 4 great ns.¡± ¨C Said moving away. ¡°If you¡¯re all right, you can leave. The principal says you have a test tomorrow and you can do it if you¡¯re better.¡± Yelena retired and Sera stayed in the infirmary for a few seconds. When she left, Kyria waited for her to indicate where the test would be done. ¡°Sorry.¡± ¨C Wrote. ¡°I¡¯m giving a lot of work.¡± Kyriaughed as they walked. ¡°That¡¯s what friends are for. Don¡¯t worry. I¡¯m here with you.¡± Sera thanked with a wave. ¡°Are you sure you¡¯re okay? Did you see something to scream like that? I confess I was surprised to see it was you.¡± Sera hesitated, however, it would be nice to have someone to trust. ¡°Maybe you think I¡¯m crazy, I think I might have imagined.¡± ¡°Tell me and we can discuss it.¡± ¨C Kyria smiled. Then, Sera wrote down what she saw in her notebook and showed everything to her friend. Kyria outlined several reactions at first. Fear, amazement, and unbelief. However, her expression soon became thoughtful. ¡°Thomas and I can do some research tomorrow. It¡¯s been a long day.¡± ¨C I said yawning. Sera also stretched and gave a long yawn. They went to the bedroom and the redhead indicated the ce of the test when they passed it, so Sera would not be lost. Sera thanked the school for giving the students pajamas, it was good to be able to put somethingfortable to sleep. And for the first time, she had a dreamless sleep. ¡ª¡ª¨C The next day, Sera spent the day studying. She hadn¡¯t done it for a long time and maybe her mother¡¯s old books wouldn¡¯t be enough. But her mind wandered to the night before. And she remembered the first day, the whispers about the curse. She felt the shiver when he thought she might be the cause. Sera thought about what would happen if she disappeared. She didn¡¯t have an important family, she didn¡¯t even have a family. Also, she was not known by anyone. Much less useful to anyone. In reality, she felt a hindrance. It had only been a problem for everyone since it got there. Maybe she should leave or¡ disappear for good. After all, no one would miss her. Sera was dispersed from her thoughts by being frightened when someone sat next to her. Thomas apologized with a gesture. And he wrote the same request on a sheet. Sera smiled and only wrote that she did not expect. ¡°Thank you for helping Kyria that day, I¡¯m d we have someone brave on our side.¡± ¨C He wrote in an elegant handwriting. ¡°It is my duty as a friend. I can no longer allow an innocent person to be attacked¡± ¡°More? Do you know anyone who has gone through this?¡± ¨C He asked with a serene look. And Sera noticed that Thomas was smart. Smart and observant. Had he discovered anything about her? ¡°You don¡¯t have to tell me if you don¡¯t want to. But know that I¡¯m here to listen.¡± ¨C He gave a gentle smile. Sera thanked with a smile and continued. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, but you¡¯re important to me and Kyria. A new friend. I¡¯ve noticed your look. I¡¯ve felt that way. But know that you¡¯re someone important. We like having you here, Sera.¡± Sera was surprised. She always felt that feeling when she saw how kind some people were there. It warmed her heart without her understanding why. ¡°Thank you. I was never important to anyone. ¡± She didn¡¯t know why it was so easy to open up to Thomas. ¡°I¡¯ve always been treated like someone who didn¡¯t deserve to live.¡± Thomas looked at her with pity. A look she hated receiving. But even that didn¡¯t piss her offing from him. ¡°I think we all deserve to live. I¡¯ve wondered why someone like me, the way I was born, should exist.¡± ¨C He stopped writing for a few seconds, as if he remembered something. A serious expression took over his face for a few seconds. ¡°But I understood that we should live for ourselves and not for others. We will always find someone who likes us and will miss us, even when we think we are alone.¡± ¨C And Thomas returned to smile. ¡± Kyria and I will miss you if you go, Sera.¡± ¨C He said, taking your hand. Sera epted, smiled and wrote. ¡°I¡¯d miss you, too.¡± And without knowing the reason, she thought that for some reason she would miss Karim too.Content ? N?velDrama.Org 2024. Chapter 8 – Rumours Thomas said goodbye to Sera as soon as Professor Euler, a blonde woman with brown eyes, arrived to apply the test. Sera did not understand the reason for the change, but did not question and prepared for the test. ¡ª¡ª- Thomas hurried to talk to the principal and say that Sera was already taking the test. The headmistress said that there were murmurs, he could read people¡¯s lips briefly, saying things like ¡°She¡¯s crazy.¡± ¡°Have you seen the newbie?¡± ¡± Where did this psychoe from?¡± Therefore, Cassandra prevented her from taking the test in amon ce. Thomas¡¯ thoughts were scattered until he ran into someone. He put his hand on his head, avoiding a fall. And froze to see who it was and read his lips. ¡°Are you okay? Hurt yourself?¡± ¨C was it Joshua The white-haired man¡¯s hand was stretched out before him, but Thomas refused. ¡°Thomas, please, just¡¡± ¨C Thomas ignored and wanted to withdraw, but was held by Joshua. ¡°Just a minute, please.¡± Thomas couldn¡¯t bear to look at him. Not after the harsh words and humiliation he received from him. But Thomas should be strong and not let Joshua see his tears. He didn¡¯t deserve them. He let go, giving Joshua a slight push and leaving. He would never allow the alpha to hurt him again. ¡ª¡ª¡ª Sera didn¡¯t find the test difficult. She answered everything easily and even Euler was surprised. ¡°Hmm.¡± The teacher said, surprised. ¡°I confess I¡¯m surprised, Miss Abrams. Did you really study at home?¡± Sera confirmed it in a gesture. ¡°Great. You¡¯re in your final school year. Even at 18. Next year, you can choose your profession.¡± Sera thanked and Euler indicated that she could go to detention after lunch and handed her the new ss schedule. After leaving the library, Sera began to hear what they were saying about her. There were giggles and whispers. However, she had a slightly sharper hearing than usual. ¡°Did you see that strange?¡± ¨C Someone pointed to Sera. ¡°The girl who never says anything, out of nowhere, began to scream. She is crazy, for sure.¡± ¡°How can a mute talk? It must be crazy.¡± ¡°She¡¯s crazy, when they got to the ce, there was nothing.¡± Sera lowered her head by sneaking around the corners, reached her room. Closing the door carefully, she sat on the bed, frightening, Kyria. ¡°Wow!¡± ¨C She eximed scared. ¡°I didn¡¯t see youing.¡± Sera apologized for the fright and told him what he had heard. Kyria immediately hugged her and said: ¡°I¡¯m sorry, Sera. These rumors will pass. Don¡¯t bother.¡± With fear, they went to the cafeteria. Of course people pointed at her and started whispering again. Sera ignored and sat down at a table with Kyria. In a few seconds, Thomas arrived and they continued to eat without caring about the whispers. ¡°Hey, idiots!¡± ¨C It was Rie. ¡°What do you want, Rie?¡± ¨C Kyria spoke, getting angry. ¡°I want to know if it¡¯s true that the new student is really crazy.¡± ¨C He said, approaching Sera and trying to use his alpha maniption against her. ¡°Hey, Rie. What are you doing?¡± ¨C It was Karim¡¯s voice, and he seemed extremely angry. Rie seemed to freeze. He couldn¡¯t face Karim. ¡°No¡ nothing, Karim. I just asked her to exin.¡± Karim looked at him angrily. And when no one was looking, he said to Sera in a whisper: ¡°I believe in you.¡± However, the discussion did notst long. Because someone, with brown hair and frightened eyes, entered the cafeteria, opening the door in despair. Kyria told Sera that that was Jacob Lite. Jacob was disheveled; dark circles under his eyes as if he had not slept for days; his clothes were dirty, as if he had been in the woods for a long time. Jacob fell to the ground, all eyes were on him now. He looked at everyone and yelled: ¡°There¡¯s an m-monster next to c-college. He took my girlfriend, Nancy. I tried to f-find her for days, didn¡¯t seed. A shadow-shaped monster. I swear, I¡¯m not lying. I saw it.¡± And suddenly, his gaze was toward the Sera. In a movement so fast that no one could notice, Jacob had already pushed her against the ground. ¡°It¡¯s her fault. She also saw and wasn¡¯t kidnapped.¡± ¨C She said, wanting to tighten her neck. His grip was strong. Sera remembered that monster. And it pissed her off for a few seconds, her eyes turned yellow, and she tried to get him off her. But it was as if a supernatural force possessed him. Some boys held him, but without sess. Soon he broke loose and attacked Sera again with sharp ws. Her dress was torn in the front and a little in the back. Some students turned into wolves, but they also didn¡¯t stand a chance. A supernatural force seemed to hold them back. Sera was finally saved by the teachers. Karim removed his jacket and ced it on her shoulders, and she was taken to the infirmary. All content ? N/.?vel/Dr/ama.Org. As Kyria and Thomas helped her walk, she wondered if she should leave. Maybe it was better for her and for everyone. Dr. Ty asked that only Yelena stay to assist her. Sera screamed throughout the procedure. Even with an anesthetic ointment, the wounds hurt and bled. From her neck, staining her scarf to her legs. And especially her back with her great secret. Her scarf was removed and Sera did not try to question. They would see the scar, but she only wanted the pain to go away. The women did not react to seeing their shame, they just kept working. It was not a time to go into shock. However, someone had seen and been very angry. Karim did not believe that someone had done this to her, nor a boring as he would do something like that. He clenched his fists, hiding behind the wall and promising that the monster who had done this to Sera would pay. Sera did not notice his presence, she just screamed until she cked out, wondering if it would be better to leave. Chapter 9 – Intended use The sun touched her face as Sera opened her eyes. Again, the infirmary. Well, she couldn¡¯tin, she¡¯d been saved and it wasn¡¯t a ce like her old home either. She just wouldn¡¯t want to be giving so much work to Doctor Ty. ¡°Hey, Sera. How are you?¡± ¨C Kyria and Thomas entered the room. ¡°I¡¯d rather not just be dead weight.¡± ¨C Wrote. ¡°Don¡¯t say that. You¡¯re our best friend.¡± ¨C signaled Thomas, tranted by Kyria. ¡°I think I should leave. It would be safer for everyone.¡± ¨C Sera wrote sadly. ¡°Go away? Are you thinking right?¡± ¨C Kyria eximed. ¡°Don¡¯t think nonsense, girl. There¡¯s no safer ce than WolfPaws.¡± Headmistress Cordelia entered the infirmary in her elegant posture. ¡°As you three are involved in thetest events, I wish to speak with you.¡± Cordelia sat down in one of the chairs and paid attention to what the studentsmunicated to her and noted down every detail. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, Jacob is in custody in the school dungeon.¡± Sera was frightened to learn that there was such a ce in high school. ¡°But we¡¯re investigating more about what happened. Don¡¯t worry. You¡¯re safe here.¡± ¡°Funny to hear that when Sera has been to the infirmary so many times.¡± ¨C Kyria whispered when the director left and handed a paper to Sera, a date: 5/01 at 20:00. They were silent, watching the paper for a few seconds until someone came in. It was Joshua, Yuji and Yelena, they were bringing flowers. At that moment, Thomas stood up and apologized to Sera. ¡°Stay, Thomas. I leave. It will be necessary you.¡± ¨C Joshua signaled. Thomas was surprised to see the gesture, but left anyway. That situation was still very difficult for him. Joshua went out to look for him, but he was gone. The situation became tense, no one said anything else, and within minutes of greeting Sera, only Kyria stayed. Thomas came back and apologized. ¡°What¡¯s between you and Joshua?¡± ¨C Sera asked. Seeing Thomas¡¯ angry expression, she wrote: ¡°You don¡¯t have to tell me if it doesn¡¯t bring back good memories.¡± ¡°It doesn¡¯t, but I¡¯ll tell you.¡± He took the notebook and started writing, it would be safer that way. ¡°Joshua and I are alpha and omega destined. That is, we are a perfect match that are very rare.¡± Sera agreed, signalling that she understood. ¡°I knew him from afar, I admired him. I thought he was someone kind and considerate to people. He was also smart, and he¡¯s very handsome, I can¡¯t deny it.¡± Sera and Kyria smiled as he wrote this, and Thomas looked away, ashamed. ¡°Anyway, I prepared for the wedding. I with 18 and Joshua 20. We had no contact until the day. Nothing is said at the time of the ceremony, we just make the marks and mix our blood to symbolize our connection.¡± Sera chipped her teeth when she read that, it seemed painful. ¡°And it was on the wedding night that it all fell apart. He had smiled at me and been kind to the end. Until I found out I couldn¡¯t hear him. He was upset and angry. I could read on his lips, he said he didn¡¯t deserve a deficient omega, a defective omega.¡± ¨C Tears began to flow down Thomas¡¯ face, but he restrained them. ¡°So, do you think I should forgive you? That I should forget everything that happened? I¡¯m the one who doesn¡¯t deserve someone prejudiced like him.¡± Sera held his hand tightly and wrote with the other. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, Thomas. You must do what you want. I won¡¯t judge you if you don¡¯t forgive him. There are things that are difficult, to forgive and even impossible.¡± She wrote remembering her father. The three embraced each other, oneforting the other. But that of destiny was still hammering on the head of Sera. Kyria asked what happened when she realized her friend¡¯s condition. ¡°Can you tell me more about destined and omega and alpha? How do we know if we¡¯re alpha, omega or beta?¡± ¡°This urs well in childhood, in our first contact with our wolf.¡± ¨C Kyria replied. ¡°My wolf was taken. My father removed him from me.¡± ¨C She said, looking away in shame. Obviously, Kirya and Thomas were in shock. Who would have thought that anyone would be so monstrous as to remove the wolf from a child? ¡°Director Dawood is helping me with this.¡± ¨C she said, but was interrupted by a scream. ¡°She came back. Nancy Rivera came back.¡± ¨C Someone started screaming all over the school. Everyone went out into the hallway to see Nancy. A pale girl with dark eyes and white hair. She looked sick, thinner than usual, her white dress was dirty and her leg torn. Nancy walked down the aisle as if nothing was happening. People looked on, apprehensive, though, she seemed normal. ¡°Do not be rmed. Everything will return to its proper ce. And those who must, will be punished.¡±Content ? N?velDrama.Org. That sentence was already, at least, strange. But what was even weirder was Nancy smiling scarily and her head turning and breaking as she did so. Everyone screamed in horror at the scene. However, it all got even worse when Nancy turned into a white wolf with ck eyes and fangs of blood. The shadows took care of Nancy and she roared as she approached everyone. The students all turned into wolves, except Sera who stayed hidden watching in horror. The shadows merged with Nancy and she howled louder. She was attacked, several wolves pinned her to the ground and held her, untilrger wolves appeared. The teachers surrounded her and the creature, who was certainly no longer Nancy, roared with sharp teeth. Therger wolves threw her to the ground and magic ropes were thrown against her, causing her to turn back into human. Nancy was dead, but a dark voice still came out of her mouth. ¡°Those stained with blood shall pay, and their like too. This is only my first puppet.¡± And that said, the lifeless body was consumed by the shadows. Nothing left but memories of those who witnessed that dark moment. Chapter 10 – The Dream Yet another strange werewolf had appeared. Cordelia had much to research and very little time. She gave a tired sigh as she entered her room. However, she did not expect the visit that was present. ¡°To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?¡± Cordelia sat in her light blue chair and waited patiently for the other woman to answer. Most were afraid of her, but that would never be your case. Cordelia did not dare to cite the attacks, but knowing the woman with long brown hair, Verena should already know. ¡°I came to see how my boy is and also, of course¡ Learn more about recent attacks and whether they rte to the new student who arrived at your school.¡± The woman emphasized the word ¡°yours¡±. ¡°Which student do you mean? Many have arrived this year.¡± Verona gave a mocking smile: ¡°It will be Abrams, or should I say Sera Cohen.¡± Cordelia was concerned: ¡°Sera is protected here, if you wish I can expel your son right now, Madam Ramesses.¡± Verena smiled at me: ¡°I am not like my husband, Cordelia. I do not want the end of this girl but her protection. After all, just by looking, I already know that she is my son¡¯s omega.¡± Cassandra thought it really made sense, after all Karim had be very close to Sera even though she didn¡¯t seem to like her that much. ¡°What do you want then, Verena? ¡± ¡°Just help with research. When a curse begins, we cannot interfere with those involved.¡±N?velDrama.Org owns this. ¡°And you think the answer wille alone?¡± ¡°She alwayses, better or worse. ¡± Verenaughed. ¡ª¨C Sera was in a dark forest, she heard terrifying howls and footsteps everywhere. Until that huge, grotesque shadow shows up again and says, ¡°Thest n is here, the n that hurt me so much, the one that abandoned me. That woman¡¯s child is here. And from what I feel, she can¡¯t even scream.¡± ¨C The creature said again, ughing. Sera ran, but to no avail. The voice kept echoing in her mind: ¡°Daughter of that sweet woman, that¡¯s why I hate you. Your girl, killer.¡± And the echo continued to flow: ¡°Murderer, murderer, murderer¡¡± ¡°Shut up. It wasn¡¯t my fault. He abused me for years, it was the only way to defend myself.¡± ¡°But you liked it, didn¡¯t you? Didn¡¯t you have a sense of relief?¡± Sera did not answer. ¡°Tell the truth, Killer.¡± ¨C The creature approached her with herck of sharp eyes and teeth. Sera woke up without screaming, only the fear present in her chest. She gasped as she tried to process her dream. Why should she go through something like this? Had her years of torment been wrong? She looked around, looking for Kyria, but no friend. Where¡¯d she go? Well, Sera thought she deserved to have some time for herself, after all she had only taken care of her all along. ¡ª¡ª- Kyria was in a hurry to deliver some papers to the director. But, being clumsy, she had to bump into someone, of course. But she did not fall to the ground. The person held her by the hand and pulled her close: ¡°Hey, are you okay?¡± Kyria blushed lightly at seeing Nayssa ahead of her. She would never expect to meet the lonely maiden herself. ¡°Yes¡ I¡¯m sorry¡± ¨C Kyria pulled herself together and soon looked away from those clever eyes. Kyria soon walked away and started picking up the papers on the floor. Nayssa helped her and smiled as she did so. ¡°I¡¯m sorry to disturb you. You don¡¯t have to help me or anything.¡± ¡°Of course I should help. It¡¯s something so fast.¡± ¨C Nayssaughed. ¡± After all, I was distracted and bumped into you.¡± Kyria knew that it was herself who was distracted and that it was her fault for confusion, but Nayssa was just being polite. They finished collecting the papers and Kyria said goodbye to go to the principal¡¯s office. But, Nayssa held her hand once again. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, you¡¯re my brother¡¯s best friend, right? I wanted to surprise him, can you help me?¡± Kyria really didn¡¯t understand anything. However, she agreed anyway. ¡°All right, good to have help. Thank you, pretty girl. See you around.¡± ¨C Nayssa said, giving a slight wink and leaving the other girl red as a bell pepper. ¡ª¡ª¡ª Sera was relieved not to bete on the first day of school. ¡°Sera. Wait.¡± ¨C She heard Kyria call. Her friend looked tired and embarrassed about something. But Sera didn¡¯t ask anything. Sera smiled and they went together to Professor Euler¡¯s ss. She felt good knowing it was someone she knew. Upon entering the room, everyone sat down and Euler called Sera to go ahead of everyone. The eyes soon turned to her, including Karim¡¯s. ¡°Hello. My name is Sera Abrams. I hope we can be friends. I can¡¯t talk, so I use this notebook tomunicate. But you can talk to me normally.¡± She ran to sit next to Kyria, avoiding the gaze of everyone who knew her as ¡°the madwoman who was attacked.¡± The ss ran normally, but Sera could not help but feel the looks on her. At the end of ss, she stood up while talking to Kyria until someone stepped in front of her. ¡°Hi, okay? My name is Park Jae-Hyun, nice to meet you. I¡¯m also young. I¡¯m a littlete.¡± ¡°Pleasure, Jae-Hyun. I¡¯m Sera. I hope we can get to know each other better.¡± Jae-Hyun smiled. And they continued to talk. Sera liked how polite he was and didn¡¯t seem to care about how shemunicated or her scarf. ¡°Hey, this is not the time to talk. Soon another ss will begin.¡± ¨C Karim stood in front of them. Until someone pushed Sera and pulled her scarf. Karim slipped and fell on top of her, covering her scar. However, he saw the marks she was trying to hide. And tears began to fall from her face. Her scarf fell and she put it on quickly. She got up and ran away, before her humiliation. Chapter 11 – Past Sera ran aimlessly with teary eyes. She heard voices calling her, but didn¡¯t pay attention to them. After all, she just wanted to be alone. Sera couldn¡¯t see where she was going until she hit a wall that made her fall to the ground. Looking forward, a door with a staircase to an unknown ce opened. With no more options to hide, she passed by, listening to it close behind her. Sera went down the stairs, the room was dark, lit only by pale blue lights. It was a kind of abandoned room, full of ancient runes. She sat on the floor for a while, taking a deep breath, until her agitated breath calmed down. Sometimes she wished to be alone at home. After calming down, Sera stood up and walked around, trying to find out more about him, until she saw something that surprised her. A picture of her younger mother was on a table wrapped in candles. She smiled and wore the school uniform. However, something hindered her observation, a smell of something old and rotten. Sera found it sinister. However, she decided to approach and observe more. There was a hair and hair of wolves, brown hair as well as those of his wolf. Sera had no desire to touch the photo. She had no image of her mother¡¯s face at home other than her memories. But when she touched it, she heard a howl. The sound was mncholy and unhappy. The environment changed to a forest, where a teenager, her mother, walked. She was cheerful and kind, as Sera should have been. The young woman entered the forest, dressed in a red hood like hers, and Sera followed her. It didn¡¯t look unusual. Until I passed the reflection of theke and a sinister wolf shadow appeared. Sera was frightened at that moment and swallowed dry, the shadow was very simr to the one that attacked her that day. What did your mother have to do with it? Sera continued to follow and saw an old but well-kept house. Ada entered smiling, carrying candy, soon embraced by a dark-haired woman trapped in braids and brown skin. ¡°Ada, you shouldn¡¯t go out alone, it¡¯s dangerous in your case.¡± ¡°I¡¯m fine, Mama. Don¡¯t worry.¡± The woman looked at her, worried, even so. There was something in the air, a bad feeling that Sera was feeling. ¡°But what if you¡ Ada, I think we¡¯d better talk to your grandmother, what do you think? She should be here soon.¡± Sera was curious to meet her great-grandmother. She smiled as she watched her mother more closely. How she and her grandmother had a good rtionship. At that moment, a third woman entered the room. She was ady with long braids and a gentle smile, wearing a blue cloak and smiling at both of them. They talked about something that Sera didn¡¯t hear and didn¡¯t seem to make Ada happy. Well, she stood up in anger, her eyes were yellow. Ada¡¯s mother tried to restrain her, but a force seized her and the woman was pushed away. A shadow of a wolf was now behind her, and within seconds, there was only blood. Sera saw nothing else, the vision passed and she was again in that room. She gasped, frightened. Pressed the scarf tightly, remembering the scene. ¡°You must be wondering if your mother was the monster. Is she the killer who provoked you?¡± Sera turned, frightened. Searching for the voice. She did not find it for a few seconds until she saw a figure transform into a tall blond man with heterochromatic eyes, one blue and one gray. ¡°What was it? You found my eyes strange? Your mother liked them.¡± ¨C He smiled in a sinister smile. His ck overcoat dragged across the floor as he approached Sera, who was mesmerized by his different eyes. His aura was identical and even more powerful than that lupine creature. When he pressed her against the wall, Sera couldn¡¯t breathe. ¡°You look just like her. What a beautiful girl.¡± ¨C He smiled, caressing her face in terror. ¡°You must be confused, of course you are. Your dear mother was a monster? Will you be too? So many questions in such a young head.¡± And then he looked at the scarf and smiled. ¡°Do you know who gave this scarf to your mother, Sera? Certainly, his father was not.¡± ¨C The manughed. ¡± It was me, and she kept it until today with so much affection that I gave you.¡± Sera didn¡¯t know what to think with that information. There were too many messages to process at once. The young woman did not move, she did not know how to respond. ¡°One day you will need me, Sera. Just like your mother did. I am the only one who will understand you.¡± And then he kissed her. Sera got scared and didn¡¯t know how to fight it. Something like this had never happened before. When the man walked away, he said with a mischievous smile: ¡°Now you have something of mine and I have something of yours. Or who knows? Maybe I¡¯m even your father. You¡¯re not lucky at all? All of your family are monsters. Maybe you¡¯re one too. Don¡¯t you think, Sera?¡± She did not sketch any reaction, still in shock. ¡°Remember my name, Kallias.¡± And so, Kallias disappeared.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. Sera fell to the ground, trembling. She tried to stand still trembling, thinking how weak she had been by letting someone use her again. Going towards the exit, Sera did not know how she could walk, the tremor was so much that she had to lean on. Thedder seemed bigger and bigger, different from when she had entered. When she opened the door, she could finally breathe fresh air and with it there was a buzz. Several people were outside watching her state. Which simply made her look down, ashamed. Until someone pulled her hand and hugged her hard. Sera recognized that smell and that voice that whispered in her ear. ¡°Hey, weird. What happened? Are you okay?¡± And in a rush, Sera hugged him hard and wept. Chapter 12 – Return It wasn¡¯t supposed to be doing that. Karim was dangerous, her mind knew that. But something inside her pulled her towards him. Finally, she let go of Karim¡¯s embrace, embarrassed, as she wiped her tears. ¡°Sera, what happened?¡± ¨C Kyria asked, worried. Sera couldn¡¯t answer. It was so much information that she felt lost. Several people were around her facing her. ¡°Everybody get out of there and go back to your sses. The sses are not over yet.¡± ¨C Cordelia said, angry and making a sign for Sera to apany. Karim tried to follow them, but a thick, imposing voice stopped him, causing the hairs on his neck to shiver. ¡°Karim. Don¡¯t take another step.¡± ¡ª¡ª¡ª- Sera and Kyria followed the headmistress to her office. Upon entering, she instructed them to sit in the light blue armchairs. The principal gave him a ss of something the school doctor had prescribed. Sera managed to calm down a little to answer the director when she asked: ¡°Sera, what has happened?¡± And even though she was shaking and confused, Sera wrote it all down. She needed to trust someone. Cordelia was thoughtful for a moment after reading everything described by the young woman. ¡°Your mother was always a brilliant student, Sera. But she certainly had many secrets, which even I don¡¯t know. Something secret happened and she had to leave WolfPaws earlier than expected. Now, I understand a little better the reason. I just don¡¯t understand why she married someone like your father.¡± That was a question that Sera also had. Why did someone as kind as your mother marry someone like that man? Maybe he changed after marriage? What if you had an affair with Kallias because you didn¡¯t marry him? There were so many questions that made her dizzy. ¡°But at least we have a clue at the moment. The enemy speaks to you, Sera and wants something from you. Maybe that¡¯s why you weren¡¯t dominated or killed. Which is a relief. But we still need a lot of research. Leave this room with the teachers. I¡¯ll let you know about everything. I think it¡¯s your merit to know, since you¡¯re involved.¡± At that moment someone knocked on the door. A brte woman with purple eyes and white hair trapped in a ponytail. ¡°Hello, ma¡¯am. I came here as you asked.¡± she said with a gentle smile. ¡°Sera, Kyria, this is Andromeda Andersen.¡± It will help you get your wolf back. Shees from two ancient bloodlines and is certainly the best person for this job.¡± ¨C I told Sera.? N?velDrama.Org - All rights reserved. Sera greeted her and wrote:¡± Pleasure, miss, Andersen.¡± In her notebook. The woman quickly approached Sera. The young woman could have sworn she was across the room for a few seconds. The purple eyes stared at Sera as if it were something rare and unknown to be analyzed. Andromeda smiled and walked away from Sera. ¡°I know you¡¯ve been through a lot today, Miss Abrams, but there¡¯s no time to wait around. I think you wish to meet your wolf as soon as possible.¡± And in agreement, Sera stood up, waving, ready to go. Andromedaughed in approval. ¡°I like your willpower. Follow me.¡± ¡°I¡¯ll leave it in your hands, Andersen. I hope you make it.¡± The woman smiled at me. ¡°That¡¯s almost non-existent for me, Director.¡± ¡°Abrams. We¡¯ll talkter. I think this training will be necessary to distract you.¡± ¡ª¡ª¡ª As Sera headed towards her training. Kyria left the boardroom and hid when she heard something that caught her eye. Karim was in one corner of the school and in front of him was a tall, strong man with ck hair and a beard. His angry eyes looked at the young man with a certain disdain. ¡°What were you doing with that girl, Karim? She¡¯s our enemy. A snake just like her father. What are you doing that hasn¡¯t killed her yet?¡± Kyria held her breath as she heard those words. It was not possible that this was Karim¡¯s goal. ¡°Father, I can not¡ Sera is¡ ¡± ¨C the young man finally replied in a trembling voice. ¡°Who cares about this alpha-omega bullshit?¡± ¨C The man screamed, giving a light punch to the wall next to his son, scaring him in the process.¡± ¡°I can give you the omega you want. But this girl has to be killed. If not, my job will fail and I can¡¯t have something unfinished. We haven¡¯t found that son of a bitch her father yet. However, the girl is in our hands. Do your job, Karim or don¡¯t consider yourself my son. I have your brother to rece you.¡± ¡°Do you understand? ¡± ¨C the man said looking his son in the eyes. ¡°Father, Sera is not a threat, she was also a target¡ ¡± ¡°Shut up and do as I say.¡± ¨C Said squeezing Karim¡¯s neck.¡± Who do you think you are to say who is a threat or not? Don¡¯t fall for this fake girl. Understood? ¡± Panting, Karim agreed. And so the elder alpha went away. Kyria thought she should help, but when she looked again at the ce, the young man was gone. What mattered at the time was to tell Sera. ¡ª¡ª Sera followed the teacher to the temple of training. It was an ancient site covered with vines and flowers. Like an Egyptian temple. In front of it were statues of two wolves sitting, as if guarding the entrance. One looked at the other with adoration and affection. Like they were a couple. ¡°These are the primordial omega and alpha. The first to be created by Mother.¡± Sera continued to follow, watching the two wolves. Feeling an unknown connection with them. The temple had a white stone floor and was also covered with flowers of various colors, most of them white. In the middle of the ce, there was a kind of pool, but with translucent water like that of an oldke. And well, at the bottom of the ce, leaning against the wall, was a statue that Sera remembered very well. Mother seemed to stare through the eyes of the statue. Her statue-shaped wolves stood beside her, as if challenging Sera to face them. ¡°Come in¡± ¨C said Andromeda indicating theke. As indicated, Sera entered. The water was cold and gave her chills. She didn¡¯t feel or hear anything for a few seconds until a powerful force made Sera look up. And there was Mother, with her flowing dark blue hair, greyish eyes and lightly blue skin like the moon¡¯s glow. ¡°You havee to me again, child. Do you think you are worthy of my presence?¡± And at the same moment, Sera felt herself being thrown into the depths of those waters. Chapter 13 – Power Sera felt the water fill her lungs slightly. Mother¡¯s gaze was still fixed on her. The image of her wolf came to her mind and Sera tried to reach her. ¡°Come!.¡± ¨C She cried inwardly. ¡°I need you.¡± The wolf tried to reach her, but to no avail. ¡°It is you who have to make the effort, child. You are the one who is preventing your wolf from approaching, out of fear.¡± ¨C The Mother said. Deep memories of the day he lost his wolf burst into his mind. She closed her eyes in conflict with her will to reconnect with the wolf. ¡°Did sera really have the merit?¡± Maybe that man was right after all. And then she felt a hand on her head. The Mother smiled and stroked her hair, passing strength and courage. Sera felt the tears streaming down her face. She had never felt so muchfort at once. Until someone holds her and supports her from behind. Sera was surprised to see Ada. The young woman tried to say something, to ask about the past. But her mother denied it in a nod. It was not the time for that. ¡°Pay attention.¡± ¨C Sera could hear Ada¡¯s voice in her mind. ¡± You are a Wolf, Sera and have mother¡¯s power with you and no alpha is stronger than her. ¡± And in seconds, her support was gone. She fell again and looked at Mother. Her wolf was beside her, waiting for Sera¡¯s contact. She stretched her hand, the memories disturbed her, but Sera continued, however painful it was. Until she reached the paw of the animal and fell again. But this time, the Goddess smiled. ¡°You did well, child. But it¡¯s still early.¡± And at that moment, Sera was removed from the water. She gasped and breathed heavily, trying to catch her breath. ¡°Take a deep breath. You did well, Sera.¡± ¨C Andromeda said, supporting her back. ¡°I need to get back there. I have not yet seeded.¡± ¨C Said Sera impatiently. ¡°Have patience. The mind is one of the greatestmanders of our life. And yours has many blockages. We will have to ovee each of them first. Take it easy.¡± Sera agreed. She was anxious. But if she waited so long, she should wait longer. Having your wolf back wasn¡¯t even a possibility a few years ago. Andromeda covered her with a towel and she dried up. As they left the temple, they returned to the interior of the college. And Kyria waved to them. ¡°We will return to the temple at this time next week. I will wait for you there.¡± ¨C The teacher said, saying goodbye. Upon seeing Andromeda going, Sera again saw the grayish wolf the other day. She tried to get close, but in the blink of an eye, the animal had already disappeared. ¡°Hey what happened there?¡± ¨C Kyria asked, running to her, taking her out of her trance. Sera pointed to the bathroom, indicating that it would be better to talkter. As for the wolf, she would do somethingter. Maybe it was just a hallucination after training. As they entered the bathroom, in the other box, it was good to hear Kyria chattering as her day had been. Sera was still afraid to take a shower with the bathroom empty and receive another attack. Already cleaned, going towards the room, they saw Karim. He looked at Sera with a predatory expression of hatred and passed by her, almost pushing her. Sera wanted to ask what was going on. How had he suddenly be more stupid? However, Kyria held her and whispered in her ear: ¡°I need to tell you something.¡± And in their room, Kyria told them what she had seen. And now, there was one more confusion in Sera¡¯s mind. One more piece she didn¡¯t understand. And Karim seemed to be the most difficult to decipher. She sighed deeply and threw herself on the bed. Was Karim an enemy or a friend? Was he really your alpha or was it just a false impression? Was being your alpha preventing him from killing? She wanted to scream. There were only unanswered questions in her life these days. ¡°Forget it for a while. Tell me about your ss with Professor Andersen.¡± Sera counted every detail from the wolves to being removed from the water. Kyria seemed shocked by the whole story, however, it was not Sera¡¯s concern at the time but the man who had appeared in front of her. Kallias looked at her with a sadistic smile on his face. Sitting on the other bed, as if it were something normal. Sera squeezed Kyria¡¯s arm and felt her body tremble. What was that man doing there? ¡°Sera, what was it?¡± ¨C Kyria asked, worried. Upon realizing her friend¡¯s shock state. ¡°It seems your true power has begun to awaken, little girl. That¡¯s good. Soon you will be like your mother, I can¡¯t wait to see this happening.¡± ¨C Kallias said, approaching. However, something prevented him from reaching Sera. Mother stood in front of her, protecting her. Her flowing hair and her eyes yellow as those of a wolf. The manughed. ¡°So you¡¯re here, protecting this child? After all I¡¯ve done for you.¡± ¡°You shouldn¡¯t be here, Kallias. Not in that girl¡¯s mind.¡± ¡°Who are you to say where I should be?¡± He became enraged and the wolf-shaped Shadows reced his physical form. But Mother was not intimidated. And a white wolf made of light appeared behind her. And a deep voice echoed through the ce. ¡°I am the Mother of all wolves. That creator of everything. If I say you cannot be here. You cannot.¡± And within seconds, both disappeared and Sera fell to the ground, exhausted. ¡°Sera. Sera. All right? How are you feeling? What happened?¡± ¨C Kyria brought a ss of water for her. With shaky lyrics, Sera exined everything she saw. Kyria helped her calm down. ¡°Thomas said he was going to research something in the library. I hope she found something.¡±? N?velDrama.Org - All rights reserved. This made Sera think of Thomas and whether he also possessed dark secrets like hers. Meanwhile, someone entered the school grounds. A ck woman in a suit and pigtails trapped in a ponytail and a brte child with white hair on herp. The little girl¡¯s gray eyes stared at Cordelia with curiosity as she approached. And the director smiled, thinking: ¡°That woman is really smart.¡± Chapter 14 – Elisa Elisa could only be a year old. However, she was very smart. Raissa left her on the floor when they entered the room of the white-haired woman. Elisa wondered if they were rted. The child observed the whole ce. Everything there was too big for someone of 70 cm. There were bright and beautiful things all over the ce and Elisa was tempted not to touch anything. Yeah, I knew Raissa and Dad would be mad if she touched what wasn¡¯t hers. So she just supported her chubby little hands in the armchair and kept hearing things about ns that were not understandable to a child her age. Elisa wanted to see her dad, but Raissa told her to stay there. However, the subject was very boring and she was trying to avoid touching the shiny objects. Until she heard a word that caught her eye. ¡°Safe.¡± Elisa always understood that word when her father held her in hisp. He made a gesture with his hands and Auntie Yssa said something like being safe. So Elisa knew that ¡°safe¡± was a good thing. So if that ce was safe, it meant Elisa could explore until she found Dad, right? Raissa was busy talking to the director and Elisa took the opportunity to escape. The child left the room and came across the giant corridor where there was hardly anyone. She hid behind the wall so no one would see her until a tall man triggered her curiosity. He looked like her. Both had the same white hair and the same gray eyes. Elisa approached and the man looked down. He was so tall that it looked like a giant building for the child. But something made her stretch her arms towards him, asking for ap. The man looked confused? She couldn¡¯t tell. However, he took her anyway and smiled. Elisa feltfortable with him. ¡°What are you doing here alone, ein little girl? Escaped from your mother?¡± ¨C Heughed. The child babbled and made a sign of ¡°Yes¡± with his little hands. Of course Elisa knew that nothing had been lost. ¡°Dada¡± ¨C she said, asking the man to take her to her father. The stranger looked at her in a curious way and began to move. ¡°Would he look for her father?¡± However, she noticed that they were returning to the room of the white-haired woman and Elisa was sure that her father was not there. The girl frowned and began to make tantrums not to go there. ¡°Dada. Dada.¡± ¨C She said sly. The man didn¡¯t seem to know what to do. ¡°You want your father? But, I don¡¯t know where he is.¡± ¨C He said, looking desperate. Elisa pointed the other way. Surely her father would be there. After all, she had not seen him from this side. The man turned the other way and Elisa stopped the tantrum. It had worked after all. The stranger looked her in the eyes and brought his nose closer to his hair. He seemed to notice something that Elisa also noticed. They had a simr smell. Of course Elisa smelled like her daddy. But now she noticed that there was the smell of that man in her too. Could he be another daddy? she wondered. And the man went to a ce with several doors. Elisa wanted to open them to find out what was inside them. But I couldn¡¯t do that in the man¡¯sp. They were approaching thest door when a smell and a familiar voice approached. ¡°Miss Elisa. There you are.¡± ¨C Raissa said panting. ¡± Don¡¯t run away like that, please.¡± However, her expression of concern changed to something more serious. And Elisa didn¡¯t understand why. ¡°Thank you for taking care of Miss Aurelius. You can give it to me now, please.¡± ¡°What is the servant of the Abiyoe doing here? And who is this child?¡± ¨C He asked suspicious, handing Elisa to Raissa. ¡°I don¡¯t think it¡¯s in your best interest, sir. Thank you again.¡± And so, Raissa took Elisa to thest room. She looked back and saw no one else. But Joshua was well hidden, watching from afar. He did note from a family of soldiers for nothing. When the door opened, Thomas appeared with a smile and this confirmed his suspicions. Joshua felt betrayed, deceived, stupid. But he also knew he didn¡¯t deserve that smile or that child.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. Aurelius left in anger, but there was nothing to do. For now. ¡ª¡ª When Thomas opened the door, he felt intensely happy and took his daughter in his arms, holding her tight and filling her with kisses. The little girlughed as she met her father again. ¡°My baby is here. How is my Elisa?¡± Elisaughed and kissed her dad on the cheek. ¡°I love you, my love. What longing¡± ¡°And how are you, Raissa?¡± ¡°Well, sir. Thank you.¡± She signaled, bowing. ¡± I must inform you that, by my carelessness, Miss Elisa met with Aurelius. Forgive me, my lord.¡± Thomas took a sigh. There wasn¡¯t much to do now. Besides, what fool would send a child with so many problems going on in high school? Well, he knew exactly who. So he signaled to Raissa: ¡°Bring Yssa here and ask her to bring Kyria and Sera along.¡± Raissa just bowed and agreed. When she left, Thomas angrily called Elora Abiyoe. When answering the video call of the son, the older woman, short-haired and ck trapped in a bow, just smiled. ¡°What do you think you¡¯re doing, mother?¡± ¨C He signaled furiously. Eloraughed. ¡°Of course you would. Don¡¯t worry, Elisa will be safe.¡± ¡°What is your goal here, mother?¡± ¨C He asked, gazing into her eyes. ¡°All the ns are moving now, Thomas.¡± ¨C She said seriously. ¡°Is that what you call¡± moving¡±? Bring your granddaughter to the danger zone? Have you gone crazy?¡± ¡°No one can hurt our family, Thomas. Especially someone with two pure bloods. Trust me, she¡¯ll be safe.¡± And that said, she hung up. Thomas turned off his phone, furious. He looked at Elisa, who was already sleeping in his bed, unaware of the dramas that urred in her life. He didn¡¯t have to wait long for the door to be opened by his sister and friends. And smiling, he showed something he had found. An ancient silver and ck book, written, Lunam Lupi. Chapter 15 – The First Alpha Cordelia felt stupid for never finding such a room in all her years of directing at Wolf Paws. She knew that there were things there so well hidden that many principals and teachers would never find. The ce was exactly as Sera had described it. Ancient runes and pale blue lights. However, with the tension of the day, the young woman probably did not notice details that they would notice. There were wolves carved all over the walls. And ancient texts with unknown words. Also, the altar that Sera had mentioned was there. Ada¡¯s photo was on the spot with the wolf hair and hair. But Cordelia thought it was more than an obsession and more something to evoke that power. Sera had said that Ada had blown up her power in the past. By Cordelia¡¯s considerations, the Abrams family disappeared at the same time. Ada¡¯s mother and grandmother died of a mysterious illness and the father was never seen again. And it was around this time that she said goodbye to WolfPaws and married Lincoln Cohen. It was almost a 90% chance that Ada had caused their deaths. Sera said she saw an explosion. However, the director could not affirm anything without proof. This would exin the marriage. After all, the Cohens were the most powerful n at the time and could protect Ada from a murder charge. A question practically solved. However, there was another, where the mysterious man fit? Sera could not pronounce his name. Probably from the shock. The woman pondered it for a few minutes. Until someone calls her. Sue Adams indicated a newly opened secret door. The site was built by ancient stones and stoned. There were scriptures written all over the walls. And something very beautiful that called attention. On thergest wall was a delicately carved drawing of two wolves next to each other, they looked at each other and seemed to have a deep connection. Above their heads were the alpha and omega symbols and ancient runes shone around them, with the same glow as the blue lights outside. ¡°The primordial alpha and omega, for sure. But we have little information about them.¡± The director¡¯s gaze turned to Andromeda: ¡°What do you know about it, miss, Andersen? Since you¡¯re the expert.¡± Andromeda was thoughtful for a few seconds. ¡°Hmm¡ these, as I said, we realize, are the primordial omega-alpha, as are the statues of the temple. I know little about them. Neither their names were revealed. There is still much we do not know.¡± She watched the image for a few minutes. ¡°But I see no connection to current events. What could it be?¡± ¨C Andromeda whispered thest part to herself. ¡°If we knew a little more¡ There are still many unanswered questions. Are we being punished in some way?¡± ¨C Sue said. Silence hovered for a few seconds until a sound was heard and a crow entered the ce. The teachers were surprised, but Cordelia did not express the same reaction. ¡°Fear not. It is something of the informer.¡± The pastnded on the stone and handed the paper to the director. In it was written: ¡°Two wolves. Kallias and¡ Not the time.¡± Upon reading the name ¡°Kallias¡± Andromeda remembered who he was. ¡°It makes sense.¡± ¨C She said. ¡± The son of the Goddess being the first alpha. ¡°The first alpha, a god? Maybe we¡¯re being punished somehow. Like a curse¡± ¨C Sue concluded. ¡°I don¡¯t believe in curses. Only in science and magic. Nothing happens without a usible reason. Besides, what would be the reason? ¡± Cordelia tried to remember the story Sera had told. ¡°Kallias had a rtionship with Ada. Would these actions be revenge? But why does Sera remain alive? A possible affection? There are still many pieces without fitting.¡± ¡°¡±Those stained with blood¡¡± ¨C The director remembered the phrase of the first case that appeared. ¡± Certainly there is a rtionship with the main ns, but there is still a lot that they hide. And of course, they have already started to move. Everyone hides something. ¡°The possibility of the curse stilles to mind. The question is why? ¡± ¨C Sue said, analyzing the wolves on the wall. ¡°The informant said two wolves¡¡± Everything changed when she touched the center rune of the engraving and a door opened. Inside was Mother holding a scroll. They analyzed the location first. Looking for some suspicious trap. However, nothing seemed to pose any danger. Then, with fear, she took the parchment. But to everyone¡¯s surprise, there was nothing written. Just a dry bloodstain. As she watched the paper, trying to decipher something, the walls began to crumble. ¡°Come on, you¡¯re not allowed to stay here anymore.¡± ¡ª¨C When all were safe outside, the entrance had closed. Cordelia thought it would never open. Maybe Sera could, but it was an undefined possibility. ¡°Headmistress, I brought what you asked for.¡± ¨C She was taken from your thoughts by the voice of Yelena. ¡°Let¡¯s go to my office.¡± After Cordelia sat down, Yelena showed old records.Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. ¡°These are old family records, ma¡¯am. They show strange happenings with patients with hidden names. I believe they belonged to the great ns.¡± ¨C said quickly. ¡± Anyway, they were talking about explosions of power and uncontrolled werewolves controlled by a lupine force. They can¡¯t tell if it¡¯s their own wolf or if it belongs to something external. What stands out is that everyone went crazy or abandoned their wolfpletely after that. They either died, or never transformed. ¡± Cordelia wondered if this was what had happened to Ada. However, there was something even more important that Yelena would say next. ¡°We analyzed the blood of those affected by thetest events and there is something strange under analysis. A blood unlike any we have seen before. Something noble, almost divine, that blends perfectly with DNA.¡± Kallias¡¯ theory now made more sense. But the reason was still a mystery. A knock on the door knocked Cordelia out of her brief thoughts. Yuji had entered with a paper written by Thomas Abiyoe. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, director. I couldn¡¯t get the book.¡± ¡°No problem¡± ¨C she said with a smile. There were no more capable hands than those of Thomas Abiyoe to help them with this purpose. Chapter 16 – Lunam Lupi. Nayssa was not surprised by Raissa being in high school. She already suspected the reason. But she didn¡¯t understand why Thomas asked her to call Sera and Kyria. Nayssa smiled as she remembered the redhead girl. She liked to make her nervous and watch her blush and how cute it made her. However, Nyssa could not even think, because two alphas idiots were arguing in front of her for someone who did not care a bit about them. Joshua and Raissa had met in the hallway and had been arguing for some time. The subject? Elisa and Thomas. ¡°I took care of your daughter longer than you. What are you talking about?¡± ¡°You¡¯re not part of the great ns. Do you think you¡¯ll ever be able topete with me? I¡¯m his destined alpha and you can¡¯t change that!.¡±N?velDrama.Org owns this. ¡°Silence.¡± ¨C Yssa said quietly, making them both quiet at the same moment. They both stopped arguing on the spot. ¡°Stop arguing about futile things. Soon, the whole school will know your secrets.¡± ¨C She took a long breath. ¡± You.¡± ¨C She looked at Joshua. ¡°There is still much to do to get closer to Thom.¡± ¡°And you.¡± ¨C Looked at Raissa. ¡°Forget that childish passion. It will never happen.¡± ¡°Now I have more to do than waste time with the two idiots.¡± She said going out towards the coffee pot. At lunchtime, for sure both would be there. Nayssa smiled as she recognized Kyria¡¯s red hair. She touched her shoulder andughed when the young woman was frightened. ¡°Forgive me. I couldn¡¯t resist.¡± ¨C She gave a smile that made Kyria blush. Sera waved to Yssa and she waved back, passing the message from Thomas. ¡ª¨C As they entered, Elisa was sleeping in Thomas¡¯ bed. When he saw them, he smiled and showed an old book. However, Sera and Kyria were busier in looking at the child in bed. Thomas smiled and wrote, ¡°Remember I said that not everything was bad with Joshua? That¡¯s Elisa, my daughter.¡± Sera looked at him, surprised. Kyria already knew about Elisa, but had never seen her in person. ¡°I need help to hide it. My mother put us in this situation.¡± ¨C He wrote. ¡± Only when I¡¯m not around or Raissa. Will need support.¡± ¨C he said pointing to the woman in the suit who was in the room. Sera was frightened to see her, she had not seen her arrive. Thomas stood up and handed them a technological silver bracelet. With two buttons. One of them, when pressed, showed 4 mini maps with their names inserted. And the other, activated a signal with a shing red light. ¡°I was working on it and adapted it for us. I thought about the day Sera was attacked. In this way, it will be possible for us to meet easily.¡± ¨C He exined. The girls put on the bracelets and Sera was happy to now be able to ask for help. ¡°But, I have something more serious to show you.¡± ¨C Thomas wrote and soon after, took the old book. He gave Kyria up and asked her to read it. Thomas¡¯s room was not veryrge, however, some chairs were useful for everyone to sit on. Kyria then began to read aloud and slowly so that Thomas could understand and tried not to pay attention to Nayssa¡¯s breath beside her: ¡°¡±The Goddess is the Mother of wolves. She is the creator of all wolves and has always guided her children towards love and harmony. All possessed an extraordinary power, beyond what is seen today. But this was not enough for Mother and she realized that it took two distinct poles for bnce to exist. Thus, the first alpha and the first omega were created.¡± And in the beginning, it worked. Harmony reigned and pairs were chosen by fate. However, there would always be those who would think themselves superior and used their power and the bond between alphas and omegas for their own use and abuse of the other. Disappointed, Mother removed the wolves¡¯ extreme powers, leaving them only with the ordinary. In this way, the wolves turned away from their true power and became a shadow of what they were before. With pity for her children, she gifted some of them with true power. However, they were weak and the ego that ran in their blood prevented them from connecting with Mother. Even though she was beside them, she had been forgotten and could not be heard. And this brought consequences for all the chosen and for their blood.¡± Kyria took some time to breathe while Sera wrote: ¡°Your blood¡ Your lineage. Do you think the chosen ones are the great ns? ¡± ¡°It makes sense. It is not atoa that there is a rumor of a curse when the 5 ns unite. ¡± ¨C replied Nayssa. Sera took the opportunity to tell about the event in the secret room to the others. Thomas was thoughtful for a few moments. If Sera¡¯s mother had been one of the affected. The events were not as old as he thought. And Kyria kept reading so they would try to decipher that puzzle. But there was something strange. A page missing. So Kyria continued on the next page: ¡°And¡¡± ¨C The name was burnt. ¡°¡ did not agree with her. The wolves should regain their former power and courage through their hearts alone. Whoever did not seed would be weak and did not deserve this power. Neither the Goddess nor the wolves. They would have their chance, but it would be his way.¡± One more page was missing¡ ¡°And as an alpha, he lost himself in his own ego and power, while Mother and¡ ¡± That word had also been burned. ¡°They begged that the way be another and that way was not right. But¡ ¡± Another word burned out. ¡°Ignored his advice and his call and helped the ¡°blessed¡± of his own way. However, neither side had results and only the connection¡¡± After thest word, Kyria stopped reading. There was nothing else. Just a few words burned and pages written in anguage unknown to her. Thomas took a book and signaled, ¡°Thank you¡±. He had forgotten about Sera and took the opportunity to teach her the sign. She smiled, thanking and then repeating the movement. Thomas said she was a quick learner, which made her proud of herself. Thomas put the book to bed and wrote that he would try to trante the rest until he saw a note ced under the door. ¡°Lord Abiyoe, I know that all are gathered in your room and so I took the chance to summon you. I ask you toe to the school meeting room shortly after you read that note. Signed Cordelia Dawood.¡± Chapter 17 – Meeting Thomas took Elisa in hisp, who had just woken up, and gave her a kiss on the face. He sat down on the bed and signaled, ¡°I¡¯ll be right back. Be nice to Raissa. Daddy loves you.¡± And Elisa chuckled and made a sign with her little hands of ¡°I love you.¡± ¡ª¨C By the time they got to the conference room, some people were already on the scene: Joshua and Karim were sitting on opposite sides of the 8-chair round table. The mood was strange as soon as they arrived. Joshua tried to talk to Thomas, who still did not know how to react and so looked away, ashamed. Sera looked at Karim and he did as Thomas did, not wanting to look at her, knowing what his mission was. And that made Sera angry. And so she sat next to Joshua, sulking with Karim. Thomas sat next to Sera, avoiding Joshua¡¯s gaze. Kyria and Nayssa sat down shortly after him. Secondster, Yelena and Yuji arrived. She pulled up a chair at the end of the table to show what she had discovered. ¡°Hello everyone.¡± ¨C She said polite. Then he approached Sera and pressed her cheeks.Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. ¡°I¡¯m d you¡¯re here, my patient.¡± Sera blushed and Karim looked at Yelena in attack mode. Yuji looked away, also annoyed. Seeing that the boy had nowhere to sit, Sera opened space and pulled a chair for him. Yuji tried to deny it at first, but in the end epted. Sitting next to her, sulking. It was this energy that Cordelia came across as she entered the room. ¡°I see you¡¯re veryfortable being here.¡± ¨C Sheughed. ¡± Anyway, let¡¯s get down to business. Pay attention.¡± ¨C She said slowly. And calmly, the principal passed all the information she discovered in detail to the students. ¡°Sera, can I talk about that person?¡± Sera agreed, knowing that Cordelia was referring to her mother. And so, with information about Ada brought to everyone¡¯s attention, Yelena also shared what she knew and all the information came together. Finally, Cordelia showed the scroll of the statue of the Mother. ¡°I think the firstborn should put a like of their blood here. It¡¯s the only method I can see now.¡± The director handed a dagger and each of the firstborn made a small cut in the palm and dripped a drop on the paper. ¡°What now? We wait?¡± ¨C Sera wrote. Before the director answered, a crow came carrying a small bluish dome. Everyone dodged the animal when he put the object on the table. ¡°Do not be rmed. Thises from the informant.¡± ¨C Cordelia said. Inside the object was a paper, written: ¡°Use the light of the moon.¡± ¡°Hmm. So that¡¯s what we have to do.!¡± ¨C Cordeliamented. At that moment, Kyria raised her hand and asked: ¡°Ma¡¯am, who¡¯s the mole?¡± ¡°I can¡¯t tell. But it¡¯s someone who¡¯s been helping our school for a long time. If he¡¯s given this advice, I trust him.¡± The scroll was ced in the dome and the director ced it in the window so that the moonlight would reach it. ¡°The meeting ends here. Bring me any new information you discover, just as I will with you.¡± ¨C She pointed to Thomas and the book. And so, everyone left, except Thomas, who had his wrist lightly held by Joshua. ¡°We need to talk.¡± ¨C He signaled. Thomas mentioned running away, but Joshua stood in front of him and said, ¡°Just stop running away.¡± ¡°It was you who ran away first, remember?¡± ¨C Thomas replied in signs. ¡°Of course I remember. I admit, I was a coward. If I could, I would change things. I repented the same day I was a prejudiced fool with you. You can hate me and never forgive me. But I want to see you, Elisa. And also I can help with the book. My family has confidential files.¡± Thomas looked away, frustrated. Wondering if he was being too resentful to take Joshua away from Elisa. Everyone deserved a second chance, even if his heart still could not forgive. Moreover, he could not deny resources. Thomas agreed. ¡°Okay, tomorrow, after school. In my room. It¡¯s safer there.¡± ¡ª¡ª- On leaving, Sera was surprised with Karim calling her. ¡°Hey, you little freak.¡± Kyria was doing something secret with Nayssa and Yuji and Yelena had to help in the infirmary. So, they were all left in the hallway. ¡°What do you want?¡± ¨C She wrote angrily. ¡°Be careful. Don¡¯t go looking for trouble with a freak with a fetish in your mother, chasing you.¡± ¡°I can take good care of myself, thank you.¡± ¡°Funny you¡¯ve been to the infirmary several times.¡± She¡¯ll be angry, she wrote in a hurry. ¡°Are you worried about me now? ¡®Cause the way you act, like an angry idiot, you don¡¯t.¡± Karim was angry with the offense and said: ¡°Don¡¯t you realize I want to help you, weirdo?¡± ¡°It doesn¡¯t look like it.¡± she replied. ¡°I shouldn¡¯t even be here with you.¡± ¡°And why is it?¡± ¨C Sera almost tore the paper when writing. At that moment, he pushed her against the wall and held her waist, kissed her. His lips were rough, but his kiss was soft and affectionate. Sera reciprocated, also knew not to be near him. But that. It was stronger than her. She grabbed his shoulders and deepened a kiss, until they both ran out of breath. They separated, flushed and panting and without saying anything, each went to one side, thinking about what happened and how they had made a mistake. ¡ª¡ª The moon was already shining beautifully in the sky. Everyone had gone to bed. But there was one who was still awake. His footsteps could hardly be heard. The person wore a dark blue hood, and his face could not be seen. The individual stopped in front of the meeting room and opened the door slowly. Even if it was locked, it wasn¡¯t too hard for someone of your kind. The dome shone beautifully as the moonlight touched it. The mysterious being opened it and put his hand above the parchment. He took a dagger and cut off the palm of his hand. His blood mingled with the others. The dome was closed and silent steps went towards the door that was closed as if no one had stepped there. Chapter 18 – Comfort. Sera could feel the smoke on her face. The forest was dark, but it was lit by the mes of the fire that burned her. She walked through the mes without fear, seeing skulls on the ground, one of them, totally charred. Sera stared at that skull until she heard a distant howl. She looked through the trees and far away from the mes was her wolf, calling her. Sera tried to approach, but someone grabbed her by the neck. It was Lincoln Cohen, her father. However, the hole she saw was also Kallias. ¡°You won¡¯t be able to get close.¡± ¨C She heard the two voices together as she suffocated. Sera stared at her howling wolf. And she did so, even to erase. The sheets were tightened tightly when she woke up. Her hair sweated and Sera could still feel her throat being tightened. Trembling, she got up and ran to the bathroom, putting everything that was in her stomach in the sink. ¡°Sera. Sera. All right?¡± ¨C Said Kyria rubbing her back infort. Sera said with her head. She was already better. ¡°Sera. Forgive what I say, but¡ I think you need medical help. Not physical, but mental. This can eat you up and bring you even closer to Kallias.¡± Sera sighed, tired. She took some water to calm down. The friend helped her drink since her hand was trembling. Of course Kyria was right. This would eventually drive her further and further away from her wolf. Sera sat on the bed, asking ¡°How? ¡± And as the only option possible, the girls went to the boardroom. Cordelia allowed them to enter and listened to the story intently. ¡°Miss Waish is right. Luckily, Miss Petrova is in our school today. Shees every week to help us with cases like this.¡± And so Cordelia dismissed them and asked Sera to go to Petrova after ss. The ss went well, which reassured Sera. Even though she could not look at Karim without remembering what they had done the day before. ¡°Do not look. ¡± ¨C thought.¡± We should not approach, forget about it.¡± ¡°What was it?¡± ¨C Kyria asked after waving in to Jae-Hyun. ¡°I¡¯ll tell you in Thomas¡¯ room.¡± The trio had agreed to meet in the range for more details on the primordial alpha and omega. ¡°What are these faces?¡± ¨C He wrote. ¡°Sera wants to tell us something.¡± ¨C Kyria whispered. And with the door closed, she wrote: ¡°Karim and I kissed.¡± ¨C She said hiding her face with her hands. The Colleagues seemed surprised, but Thomas took courage and confessed: ¡°Joshua asked to help me with the research and I left. I don¡¯t know if I can resist with him so close.¡± ¨C He snorted right away. Sera and Thomas soon looked at Kyria and she blushed strongly: ¡°Why are you looking at me like that?¡± ¨C She looked away. ¡± All right, I might be liking Nayssa.¡± ¨C She admitted. And in the end, they allughed. They were fools in love after all. ¡ª¡ª The ss ended and Sera managed to look away from Karim as much as possible. As she left, someone was waiting for her at the door. A tall woman with blond hair and deep blue eyes, much like Yelena¡¯s. ¡°Miss Abrams, Cordelia asked me to meet you. My name is Natalya Petrova, it¡¯s a pleasure to meet you.¡± Sera introduced herself, now she had understood where those eyes came from. ¡°Shall we?¡± ¨C The woman said, indicating for Sera to follow her. Sera said goodbye to Kyria and followed Natalya. They entered a cozy room, simr to that of the director Cordelia. However, the armchairs were orange. The doctor sat on a white sofa and asked Sera to sit in the armchair. The woman crossed her legs, marking her ck pants and slightly crumpling her white coat. She took a small clipboard that was on the next table and asked Sera for some basic information. ¡°You don¡¯t have to tell me anything while you¡¯re ufortable, right? Let¡¯s start small.¡± Sera knew she needed to trust someone. After all, she needed to move on with her life. As long as she didn¡¯t end her inner fears, she never could.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. The young woman didn¡¯t tell her everything. Just how it all started. I just said he didn¡¯t treat her very well. She couldn¡¯t talk about the acts and the marks he left. Even if Natalya already imagined. Her hands trembled as he told the details and Doctor Petrova gave her a handkerchief and held her hand. ¡°I think we can stop for today. What do you think?¡± Sera agreed and they withdrew from the room. Yelena waited for them with a smile and ran to hug Sera and kiss her on the cheek. Yuji looked away, jealous. ¡°When will you tell her?¡± ¨C Natalya asked him. ¡°I¡¯m not worthy of that, ma¡¯am.¡± Natalya gave a half smile. ¡°What a foolish boy. Only you think that. If you do not hurry, she will be free and you will be caught in bitterness.¡± ¡ª¡ª¡ª- Natalya went to Cordelia¡¯s room, knocked on the door and entered when she was allowed. She sat in thefortable armchair and epted a cup of coffee. ¡°So, what do you think of the case of Miss Abrams?¡± ¨C Asked Cordelia, taking a long sip of her drink. ¡°She¡¯s determined. She¡¯ll get over it. The scars on our mind always remain. However, we can create a barrier so that they do not reach us.¡± ¡°You¡¯re right. I pity her. I wish she would be happy in the future.¡± Natalya took something to deliver to the director. Some extra results on the WolfPaws attack cases. ¡°Ivan and I are excited to solve this case. But with the magic of the gods, we have great obstacles. We can never underestimate a curse.¡± ¡°You¡¯re right.¡± ¨C Agreed Cordelia. ¡°We¡¯re searching as fast as we can.¡± ¡°I heard that the big ns are already working.¡± ¨C Natalya drank her coffee. ¡± The Abiyoe with a spy, the Aurelius with the army in ce, the Ramesses being more concerned with a foolish revenge. Too bad the Cohens can¡¯t do anything.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t agree.¡± ¨C Cassandra put her cup on the table. ¡± The Cohens are very active at the moment. Through the secrets of their past.¡± Chapter 19: Control Sera woke up apprehensive, as if something bad was going to happen today. She didn¡¯t write anything while changing or when Kyria said good morning. But the feeling remained there. Andromeda was already waiting for them in the clearing, with the gates open to the forest. ¡°Today I intend to bring a different exercise. We have incredible historical knowledge around Wolf Paws. Let¡¯s explore the ancient ruins of the site. Take your rune books and ancientnguage and let¡¯s go.¡± She walked between them and separated the doubles. For some reason, Kyria had escaped from ss today and Sera was curious as to why. Even so, the concern for her partner was greater. And she ended up being right. ¡°Abrams and Ramesses. No exchanges.¡± ¨C She was clear. And there they were again, united even though they wanted to get away. Each pair went one way. Sera and Karim did not exchange any interaction with each other for some time. Both trying to forget the kiss and avoid each other. They went through the forest towards one of the ruins. The day was sunny and a cool breeze moved Sera¡¯s hair. Karim watched her, secretly and even knowing the reason, wondered how she could stand to wear that scarf with a sun like that. The couple watched the ruins, taking care not to fall among the boulders. On the walls were two wolves, one ck and one white. Above the head of the first was a new moon and above the second, a full moon. ¡°Opposites.¡± ¨C Sera wrote. ¡± Can they be the primordial alpha and omega?¡± Karim noted well and noted that there was something written on the side. He tried to trante, but the books were not being useful. Suddenly, Sera touched his arm. Her fingers were warm and thin and he tried not to be distracted by it. She pointed to a cave just ahead, full of runes and a little finished. Both looked at each other and entered. It wasn¡¯t the smartest decision. However, current events called for extreme action. ¡ª¡ª Andromeda guided each student to her ce and counted the time when they were already out of sight. Until someone screaming caught her eye: ¡°Teacher, Professor Andersen.¡± ¨C A blonde girl came to meet you. ¡± A student, Eddy does not look well, teacher.¡±Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. ¡°Show me where he is.¡± she said, worried, and followed the student. The student was sweating cold, others had given him a bottle of water. But there was something wrong. As Andromeda approached, the ck boy stood up and looked into her eyes with a lifeless look. ¡°Look who has appeared, the one who is interfering in my domain. What do you want here, girl? It won¡¯t be so easy to find out something about me.¡± ¨C Heughed. ¡°Who are you? You can¡¯t¡ Kallias?¡± The boy smiled sarcastically. ¡°Look, she got it right.¡± Andromeda stepped back, watching the young people around, frightened. ¡°What do you want?¡± ¨C She asked, apprehensive. ¡°Simple, let you get out of my way.¡± ¨C Several voices said at once. Andromeda remained strong, even with the will to hide. All the young people looked at her with lupine shadows behind them and with lifeless looks. Until something inexplicable happened and all the students fell to the ground, unconscious. ¡ª¨C The cave was deep and wet, Sera could hear the drops falling from the ceiling to the floor. She followed after Karim, lighting the ce with the shlight. Until something caught her eye. Pointing to the wall, Sera called him and wrote: ¡°What are those symbols?¡± It was painted 4 symbols, a ck wolf with eyes of fire, another grayish with the red background, plus a white of gray eyes and finally a dark brown of yellow eyes. ¡°I know the second.¡± ¨C Sera wrote ¡°It¡¯s the symbol of your family.¡± ¡°And I know thetter.¡± ¨C Karim whispered. ¡± It¡¯s one I was forced to memorize. Yours.¡± ¨C He said, looking away. ¡°Do you really want to kill me?¡± ¨C Sera had the courage to ask. Karim sighed. ¡°I should¡¡± ¨C He said. ¡°But I can¡¯t¡¡± ¨C he thought. Sera looked away from the walls again. She should be afraid of him. Especially, being alone. But something inside her said that she could trust Karim and that they should be close. The young woman again observed the painting and noticed 4 people below each n symbol. The Abiyoe was a short-haired, afro-haired young man in a yellow tunic. The Ramesses, a woman with curly hair and gray tunic. Already, of the Aurelius, a man with short straight hair and white tunic. And finally, the family of Sera, a woman with long and smooth hair and red tunic. Sera felt a pressure on her chest. That was her mother. She wasn¡¯t Cohin at birth, but it was in the name. Why was she there? She had been one of the chosen ones. However, why wasn¡¯t someone from her father¡¯s family in her ce? Sera snorted. He thought he would find answers and there were more and more questions. ¡°Let¡¯s continue. There are inscriptions further on.¡± ¨C She heard Karim¡¯s voice beside her. They kept walking. Now there was a slight steep climb inside that ce and the couple ended up in the inscriptions. Once again, it wasn¡¯t helpful. Karim took her phone and took a picture, muttering right away, pointing to her book. ¡°What¡¯s that for anyway?¡± The duo focused on trying to trante the old texts. However, something unusual happened. The ground began to shake. Karim instinctively approached Sera. A crater formed and she fell, moaning in fear. Scared, Karim held his hand. ¡°Lean in. I¡¯ll pull you in.¡± He was able to pull it up. That was an opportunity to drop it. An ident, no one would me him. But something inside of him. From your wolf, I wouldn¡¯t let you do that. No matter if he caught itter, Karim pulled it up. Looking down, there were several puddles and a vast environment. How could you not have noticed such a big ce? Sera was panting. He touched her arm as if to say: ¡°I am right here.¡± On the understanding, it seems that it did not help ¨C there. The ground shook again and both fell to the wettest ce. ¡°Well, what we have here.¡± ¨C They heard a sarcastic voice. Sera trembled, it was not possible. He was there. In the flesh. She looked up and came across heterochromatic eyes, a gray and a blue. Kallias was there, right in front of him and Sera couldn¡¯t help but tremble. The man approached and she could not move. Karim, tried, but was stopped with a kick and with Kallias stepping on his ribs. ¡°I¡¯m so d you¡¯re here. Why have fun with puppies if I can y with two big wolves?¡± Chapter 20- Primordial. Sera¡¯s breath stopped for a moment. She didn¡¯t know how to react. Kallias was too strong. What would she do with them? ¡°Funny how two werewolves came directly to me. It seems they like to face danger, no?¡± ¨C Heughed. Sera and Karim looked at them, frightened. ¡°Don¡¯t look at me that way.¡± ¨C he smiled. ¡± I won¡¯t hurt you. I need you. You are not weak like those others I have controlled.¡± Kallias approached Sera and said: ¡°Remember the gift I gave you?¡± ¨C And she remembered the kiss. ¡± He will be useful in your future. So I need you alive.¡± Suddenly, wolves in the form of shadows surrounded them. Karim tried to fight, but one of them tightened her neck. Sera stood up, trying to help him, but another shadow stopped her. ¡°You think I¡¯m being nice? You think you¡¯re alive, why? Only by your lineage, because you¡¯re useful. Nothing else. Your friends have only survived, so you are more interesting. Put yourself in your shoes, children.¡± And so, a shadow formed around them in a bubble shape, trapping them both in a prison with no way out.? N?velDrama.Org - All rights reserved. Sera and Karim felt themselves floating behind Kallias as he began to lead them through that cave. The demigodughed at the look of their anger. ¡°Don¡¯t look at me like that, it¡¯s an important thing. The era of the weak wolves that forgot it is over. The era of the real wolves is near. An era where those who do not listen to Mother will not survive.¡± Kallias looked at them with now yellow eyes and an expression of anger and resentment. As if it affected him internally. ¡°I¡¯ll tell you something interesting, Sera.¡± ¨C Kallias gave an arrogant smile.¡± Do you know why whoever is painted on the wall of the chosen is your mother and not someone from your father¡¯s family?¡± Sera looked at him, curious. Kallias knew he would get her attention with that information. ¡°Your father¡¯s family, he included, wanted to prevent someone in his n from suffering the same as others were suffering. And that brought a curse on its name. Funny, no? How fate works.¡± ¨C He looked deep into her eyes, his blue eye and the other gray, shining. ¡°And then your mother became a chosen one. The Abrams were Mother-fearing. But your mother also became a disappointment. I tried everything to help her. But in the end, she became someone fearful.¡± ¨C He made an expression of disdain. ¡± You denied your own wolf bribery when you should have epted it.¡± Sera swallowed, knowing that this conversation would not have good information for her. ¡°And so, both sinners were bound by fate to have a daughter. But they both took away their daughter¡¯s wolf. Challenging the Mother once again.¡± Sera held her breath. She was understanding where Kallias was going, but she couldn¡¯t be. ¡°That¡¯s right. Your mother also wanted to arrest your wolf, Sera. For fear. How pathetic.¡± Sera couldn¡¯t believe it. Tears trickled down her face. Karim wanted tofort her, impossible in his current state. ¡°What do you want from us? Why are we here? Just for you to attack her? You coward!¡± ¨C He shouted. Kallias looked at him with mockery and small daggers of shadows pierced his stomach. ¡°I¡¯m just returning to the natural cycle, boy. The cycle your ns have corrupted.¡± Sera almost screamed to see Karim attacked. But the bubble wouldn¡¯t let her near. Until a clear, deep voice was heard. A voice she had heard once before. ¡°Kallias. Let them go. Let¡¯s settle this ourselves.¡± At that moment, Sera noticed a different expression in Kallias¡¯ eyes. Would it be hate? Anger? Or even love? She couldn¡¯t tell. Jae Hyun appeared with her messy hair and high school uniform. A higher aura affected him. What made Sera connect some information. Kallias was the primordial alpha. Was Jae Hyun the primordial omega? That was almost certain. Kallias gave a fake smile. ¡°Then she woke you up.¡± ¨C Said disappointed. ¡± I was protecting you, Jae Hyun. You know that.¡± ¡°If you want to protect me, why do you attack so many people?¡± ¨C Jae asked, exasperated. ¡°Because they have corrupted our world. And they will continue to corrupt.¡± ¡°You¡¯re doing it too, Kallias. You¡¯re exterminating our people.¡± Kallias approached him with an expression of disappointment. ¡°Don¡¯t do it, Jay. Don¡¯t treat me like I¡¯m to me and not them.¡± ¡°The ego of the alphas driven you crazy. I know you want to bring our ancient world and mother¡¯s power back to the wolves. But, this way is not correct.¡± ¨C Jae said, caressing his face. Kallias kissed his hand and replied: ¡°It¡¯s the only way.¡± And so crows approached Jae and he turned into a huge white wolf. Kalliasughed and did the same. The lupine shadows surrounded him and in seconds there was a huge ck wolf in the man¡¯s ce. One growled at the other and the battle began. Jae Hyun jumped at Kallias and knocked him down. Soon, the situation changed, with Kallias getting up and throwing him to the ground with a bite. Both growled at this moment and Jae gave a groan of pain. ¡°We shouldn¡¯t be fighting. You should be on my side. You¡¯re my omega.¡± ¨C Kallias shouted. ¡°And you should be on my side. But you chose to abandon me. And to be close to a child.¡± Sera was shocked. Was he referring to his mother? ¡°I did not touch her. We had no romantic rtionship. ¡± ¨C Kallias gasped, showing her teeth. And Sera knew that what he had said the other day was just a provocation and the truth was being told now. ¡°Not always a betrayales from rting to another person. And yes, from certain attitudes.¡± ¨C Jae replied, growling. ¡°I arrested you to protect you.¡± ¡°No.¡± ¨C Jae growled. ¡± You did it so I wouldn¡¯t stop your ns.¡± And one attacked the other again. They were faster than Sera could keep up. When she least expected it, one or the other was on the floor with teeth marks all over his body and a loud thud could be heard against the floor. Sera heard someone panting, it was Karim. His condition was not very good and she was worried. The smell of blood caught the attention of Jae Hyun and his Crows managed to pierce the Kallias barrier. Sera thanked him with a nce, when he was attacked again and taken to the ground. She took Karim by the arm and helped her get up. She looked into his eyes and somehow he understood. Stating yes, he could run. While both disappeared from view. Kallias sent wolves from the shadows to chase them. However, a giant crow protected them with a peep that sent the wolves away. Sera and Karim continued to flee. ¡°Why do you care so much about protecting these children? They could be the key to getting our world back. You know that if I¡¯m with them I can do it.¡± ¨C Kallias screamed. ¡°Of course they are the key. But, not in your way.¡± ¨C Jae replied. They continued fighting, tirelessly. Until the youth fled. ¡°How long will you hinder me and prevent me from bringing the old world?¡± ¨C Said Kallias, panting, turning back into human. ¡°Until when you return to your old self, dear.¡± ¨C Jae replied, also panting, returning to his human form. Both looked at each other with a sad look and Jae stood up, still wounded, turning into a raven. Kallias did not stop him. They could not kill each other and he did not want to hold him, as he had already done. ¡ª¡ª Sera didn¡¯t know how they had the strength to get to school. But they did. When the gates were opened, Karim fell. And it was the first time she was standing and he was not. Chapter 21 – Roots of the Chosen Sera hoped to find some calm when returning to Wolf Paws, unfortunately, what she found was pure chaos. Students passed out, some sick and others screaming in pain.Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. ¡°Sera. You are well.!¡± ¨C Teacher Andromeda approached. ¡°What a relief!¡± The woman was pale, with messy hair and a tired countenance. She helped them into the infirmary which was also not in such good condition. All the beds were upied and there were more beds scattered on and off the site. They put Karim in one of the beds and Doctor Ty watched him. She also looked tired. ¡°What happened, Sera?¡± ¨C The doctor asked in her soft voice. Sera wrote everything quickly. It was too much information for too little paper, but it boiled down to focusing only on the way Karim had been hit and what. Ty got to work and Sera could only watch. She wondered if her friends were okay. Karim¡¯s expression of pain, however, was her greatest concern at the time. ¡ª¨C A few hours before, Thomas was restless. Elisa yed in a small pool of balls they sent to him. Fortunately the room was spacious enough to behave such a toy. As his little girlughed, he felt a vibration on her wrist, a watch abusing that there was a knock on the door. Thomas sighed deeply and opened the door. Joshua stood on the other side with a smile on his face. Tom remembered the moments before his marriage, when the alpha still smiled at him like that andcked an expression of indignation in his gaze. The omega invited him in, trying not to be distracted by the past. Joshua did, somewhat awkwardly. Not knowing how to act by being so close to Thomas again. He extended the papers he had found in his n and set out to observe Elisa. The child ran to him when he saw him. Joshua smiled and held her in hisp. She extended her chubby little hands towards him and the man kissed her. He still didn¡¯t believe he had a daughter. The girl pped for her father and Thomas smiled, watching the scene. It was hard for him to forgive, he always would be. But Elisa was Joshua¡¯s daughter and they deserved to have that connection. Thomas started reading the papers. There were things that they already imagined or knew, such as some rtionship with Mother and the wolves not hearing it and also as chosen of the great ns. However, there was different information. Something that caught his attention. Something written in the ancient, Sanskritnguage: ??? ?? ? ? ?? . Roots of the chosen. Thomas observed the expression for a few minutes and indicated to Joshua that he was drooling with his daughter. Asking with the signage, what it meant. Joshua put Elisa back in the toy and sat on the bed next to Thomas. They both tried not to feel tense by the proximity. However, there was no result. ¡°They say that everyone is a big tree and each n is one of its roots. Wee from the same ce, bear the same burden and suffer the consequences of our ancestors. Each one differently, depending on the root from which you came.¡± Thomas watched him, asking him to continue with a nod. ¡°These roots are active to this day. Where what was notpleted by their ancestors must be done by their sessors. The tree is the life that always charges for the nourishment that gives its roots.¡± ¡°And the chosen ones?¡± ¨C Thomas signaled. Joshua sighed. ¡°The chosen ones are the ones who had the chance to repay what they owe to the tree, to the Mother. Who were favored and blessed, however, by touching the roots they became corrupted and so did their family. Instead of helping and nourishing the roots, they have damaged them and now they no longer receive the nutrients.¡± ¡°That is, the curse. And we have to go back to nurturing the roots. But how?¡± ¨C Thomas asked himself more than for Joshua. ¡°I know that still, we will find an answer.¡± ¨C Joshua replied, approaching and almost kissing Thomas. Thomas walked away, but Joshua quickly held him and made a sign of silence. He indicated that Thomas would take Elisa and he did. Joshua put his ear against the door and heard students screaming in fear and some falling. He knew it could be an enemy possession. By saying it in old papers, everyone there would be immune, but Joshua couldn¡¯t be sure. He stood in front of Thomas and Elisa, protecting them. The screams could be heard and voices saying in unison, ¡°Get out of the way. Get out of the way.¡± Until some timeter, everything calmed down. Thuds were heard, indicating that all, or almost, had fallen. Probably the possession was over. Still, there was no courage to open the door. Until a beep was heard near Thomas, it was the bracelet indicating Kyria outside the door. Thomas opened it the moment the redhead was about to hit. Beside her was Nayssa, both with extremely messy hair. ¡°Have you be a soothsayer now?¡± ¨C your sisterughed. And without answering, Thomas invited them in. ¡°What happened?¡± ¨C he asked, avoiding asking about the state of the two. ¡°We waited for the dust to settle and came to find you. Also, I worried about Sera. She¡¯s in the infirmary by the looks of it. I tried to detect it before with the device, but, nothing. Suddenly, the location appeared.¡± ¨C Kyria signaled. Thomas did not expect that there was a ce that his creation did not reach. Certainly, they needed improvement. His mind began to process thousands of upgrade ideas, however, Nayssa shook him. Indicating that they should go to Sera to understand what happened. ¡ª¡ª It was hard to go through so many beds and so many people along the way. In the end, they managed to get to the desired ce. Sera, she didn¡¯t look well, she was pale and downcast. Besides, slightly injured in the arms and legs. Her clothes were dirty with dirt and blood, probably from whom she watched at the time, Karim. Sera held his hand in a state of concern. The young man was unconscious and pale with wounds on his bandaged body. Kyria approached and touched Sera¡¯s shoulder. The young woman retracted at first. However, she soon epted her friend¡¯s embrace. Sera¡¯s lips trembled, tears of relief poured down her face and she squeezed tightly on Kyria¡¯s navy blue jacket until the horrific memory of that day faded a little from her mind. Chapter 22 – Karma of Two Clans Sera fell asleep in the armchair next to the bed while waiting for Karim to wake up. This time she saw a big tree with ck roots, a feeling of terror took her chest. ¡°Soon you will be here and Ramesses cannot protect you. I touched you before he did. Before that of the lineage of my own.¡± ¨C Lincoln Cohen came up behind her, squeezed her body. ¡°If I could not have you there, I would have what was her dearest loved one.¡± ¨C she said in a deep voice and without emotion. Sera choked a scream and looked at him, filled with hatred. Her eyes turned yellow and she growled, her wolf appearing behind her and pushing him away. Sera woke up, panting and trembling. ¡°A nightmare? ¡± ¨C she heard Karim¡¯s voice next to her. The young woman looked at him, frightened. She had forgotten that Karim was there. ¡°It¡¯s nothing.¡± ¨C she wrote, trying to calm down. Karim took her hand, making her stop shaking. She looked at him and for some reason, smiled. ¡°Does it happen often? The nightmares?¡± he asked softly, looking away. Sera confirmed. ¡°Who do you dream about?¡± ¨C he looked her in the eyes when asking and shook his hand. ¡°With the one who hurt me.¡± Karim did not need more information to understand the culprit. He shook her hand firmly and said: ¡°You know¡ I was taught to feel superior by being part of the n that murdered yours.¡± ¨C Karim looked away at the moment, embarrassed by that fact. ¡°I learned that we did something good by exterminating the Cohin. My father said that we got rid of the weed of wolves. The evil that corrupted our species. And that we should feel honored by it.¡± Sera could not bear to hear that, remembering all the horror he had witnessed that day. Small tears ran down her face and she shook his hand even harder. ¡°I am sorry. I am not honored by the deeds of my n. But I wished that the man who raised you could have gone in your mother¡¯s ce.¡± ¡°I too desired.¡± ¨C Sera wrote, confessing. ¡°I should kill you.¡± ¨C Karim looked into her eyes, causing Sera¡¯s body to shiver. ¡°That¡¯s what my father asked me. I don¡¯t know and I don¡¯t care why he hates your n. But I won¡¯t do that. I can¡¯t. You¡¯re my omega and it¡¯s my duty to protect you. Even if he kills me.¡± Sera hugged him. She trembled at the thought that this might happen. His body was hot, his jacket had been removed and she could feel his skin under his shirt. She inspired her perfume, feeling her wolf there after so long, still weak, but there. Karim hugged her back. Her wolf roared internally to protect her. He kissed her forehead and soon after, she pulled him in, kissing his mouth. Karim pulled her into herp and the kiss intensified. They parted, seeking air. ¡°I promise to protect you, Sera. I promise. Our families will no longer stand in our way. I promise. Even if I die.¡± ¨C Karim said, stroking her face. Sera looked at him with a worried look. I didn¡¯t like to hear thating out of his lips. ¡°I tried to hate you, you know? I really tried. But my wolf didn¡¯t ept it. I can¡¯t feel hatred for you any more than I try. Sera stroked his face and smiled, lying on his chest. ¡°Thank you. We will unravel the mystery of our family. I promise you.¡± ¨C she wrote. She fell asleep next to him. In the short time they had been carefree. Even though several people had witnessed the kiss. ¡ª¨C Cordelia could finally feel relief that tumultuous day. All the attacked students were stable and were already recovering. She was tired everywhere to observe the evolution of things. Her school, reduced to total chaos. Now she would have to contact Elora Abiyoe anyway, which she did not like at all. But she was the only one who could help at thest minute. The teachers were also injured and frightened. The principal wondered if her school would not be safer. But if there was not enough, how would they defend themselves from the outside? Her attention was taken by the gate opening and Jae hyun enter by the same. Cordelia was surprised. Could it be? But it made sense. Someone who entered high school right after Sera. That he kept a low profile and appeared at the right time and that some teachers did not remember. The informant finally revealed himself. ¡°Director.¡± ¨C he greeted her. ¡°Please sit down, you are injured.¡± ¨C she asked, seeing his state of torn clothes and wounds on his face and body. He sat down, tired. The wounds were already healing, but still, Jae Hyun looked down. ¡°I believe you already know who I am.¡± Cordelia agreed to this. There was no one there at that time, the corridor next to the cabs, empty. ¡°I am more than the informer. I am the primordial omega, his omega.¡± ¨C he noted the damage that his alpha had caused. The director stared at him in shock. Looking at the wounds. It was no wonder the man looked down. There were more than physical wounds there. He also had wounds in his soul. She couldn¡¯t imagine the pain in one omega and alpha fighting each other. There was more than a body connection there, it was a soul connection. Something spiritual. When a destined alpha and omega fought each other, they not only created physical and emotional wounds but marks embedded in their own soul, full of pain and guilt. For sure, Kallias and Jae Hyun were not in a good state of mind at the time. Cordelia admired their resilience. She helped, Jae Hyun to take care of his injuries. It was the least she could do. However, there was not much use in such an act, since the wounds were almost not visible. Jae hyun thanked the help and the ss of water offered. ¡°We have to act. Kallias has already entered here in a way I didn¡¯t realize. He can do much more. We¡¯ll have to increase our defenses. I didn¡¯t know how far he went. A whole school, well, I shouldn¡¯t be surprised. I ended up overestimating the protection of this ce.¡± Cordelia swallowed in bag upon hearing such a phrase, but remained quiet, shaking her hands lightly in irritation for hearing the truth. She took a deep breath when an intense gale entered the school. It was soft, but powerful and brought terror wherever it went. Awake, Jae Hyun stood up. ¡°Kallias.¡± A shadow appeared in humanoid form. And all could hear his deep voice. But in some people¡¯s minds it was more powerful, more challenging.Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. ¡°When our world is falling apart, you will beg for my help. Especially the sinners of the great ns.¡± That said, the gale was gone and Jae hyun knew he should start acting. 23 – Lineage Kallias¡¯ words echoed through everyone¡¯s mind. However, in Sera; Karim; Joshua and Nayssa the effect was more potent. They held their heads, trying to contain the pain and that voice invading their minds. Until finally, Kallias left. They all gasped, tired. They remained alert for a few seconds, checking that there was no more threat and sighed with relief upon noticing that this was the case. The director checked each ce where the firstborn were: Karim and Sera in the infirmary, Joshua in the hallway next to the rooms with Thomas and Elisa; and finally, Nayssa who was in the library with Kyria. ¡°I¡¯ll have Dr. Ty give you something. Otherwise, meet me in the conference room in an hour.¡± ¨C Cordelia repeated the same phrase several times at each meeting point, until she could finally rest a little. ¡ª¡ª- Jae Hyun ran through the school in a hurry, checking points to protect the ce. It had been a long time since he prepared to protect anything. Thest time was to ensure that person¡¯s safety, which Kallias could not touch. He looked out the window of the meeting room, sending one of his Ravens to guard each of them. Jae hyun still felt tired. There were no more wounds on his body. However, he was still mentally and emotionally exhausted and keeping so many ravens active did not help his energy rise. Sitting on the floor, Jae Hyun wondered how I got to that point. He didn¡¯t notice Kallias¡¯ eyes full of disturbance that day. Or even the fake smile when he fell asleep 200 years ago. What had Kallias done during this time? Why act harder only now? Nor would he know how to respond. When had your husband learned to lie to him? He thought of this fact and soon deviated from it. The man knew that reminiscing about the past would do nothing for them and getting up, after working. An hourter, all the guests were in the meeting room to show the scroll touched by the moon. At this point, Crows were already scattered throughout the school. Flying over the site and guarding windows, doors and gates. ¡°Director. I need a drop of blood from every employee. Their blood will serve as a catalyst to potentialize the protection they¡¯re mounting.¡± He took the scroll in his hands and asked everyone to sit down.? N?velDrama.Org - All rights reserved. Obviously, most of them were surprised to see a ¡°teenager¡± giving orders as an adult. Upon observing his inexperienced surprise, Jae performed slowly so that Thomas could also understand. ¡°Good afternoon everyone. I think most of you are confused to see me in such a position of power. So I think it¡¯s time we opened up the game and went to the presentation.¡± Squeezing the scroll ¡®lightly, confined: ¡°My name is Kim Jae Hyun and I am the primordial omega. Also, husband of Kallias. However, you have known me as the informer.¡± All but Sera, Karim, and Cordelia continued to face him in shock. ¡°Anyway, what I can say is that I¡¯m on your side. And I will help protect this school with my life if I have to. My Crows are here for this.¡± ¨C he pointed to the Window. ¡°Do not be rmed by them. They are harmless to those who are not the enemy.¡± Upon seeing no response, the primordial omega prepared to speak the scroll. However, Kyria raised her hand. ¡°What can you tell us about Kallias?¡± Jae sighed, he wanted to avoid the subject. But he knew it was impossible. ¡°Beyond what you already know, I don¡¯t know much more. Kallias arrested me to protect me, ording to him, from the atrocity he is doing at the moment. Your intentions are simple, bring our former glory back. Everything you see me doing, it was something that today¡¯s wolves should be able to do, too. Magic.¡± The young people whispered lightly about it until someonemented. ¡°And we lost it, for our sin and failures with the mother. However, Kallias wishes to bring magic to the wolves though, why in such a violent way? I don¡¯t see any chance of us going back to glory with everyone dead.¡± ¨C Sera wrote. ¡°You are right, Sera. But there is something in Kallias beyond the desire for our former glory. The ego of an alpha. As he knows all the chosen, he thinks only the strong are worthy. Everything he is doing now, are tests for something greater. I still don¡¯t know what the ideal result is in his mind. Any more questions? ¡± Jae hyun was relieved to hear no more questions and not have to talk more about his personal life or Kallias. Finally, the parchment was ced on the table and showed what was now in sight. In each bloodstain there was a surname. From within each of them, there was a vineyard leading them to a name. From the stain of the Ramesses, leave one leading to the name Damia. Surely Karim¡¯s aunt, of whom he and Sera already had the knowledge. From the spot of the Aurelius, there was the name Arsenio. From the Abiyoe, the name Iana arose. And there was something strange about the Cohins. A stain ovepped next to theirs, with the name Ada Abrams anding from the stain of the two, was written the name of Sera. ¡°Hmm. If we had even the Abiyoes, it would be easy to decipher. However, your Sera case is different. As there was interference from your father¡¯s family, you are now Mother¡¯s chosen one. We will have something more for you. However, let¡¯s focus on what ismon to all. ¡± Sera wanted more questions on the subject though, couldn¡¯t be selfish. So he asked for omega to continue. ¡°The chosen ones do not have their bodies devastated but intact with the energy of the mother. I¡¯m sorry to say that if any of them were cremated, the money was wasted. Anyway, they have an energy, a special power, ing from their mother. And you, as your descendants need to take that power for yourselves. ¡± He sat in his chair and said: ¡°Maybe so. I said, ¡°maybe,¡± we get a chance to sort things out. It¡¯s time to get more interested in their families¡¯ backgrounds. ¡° 24 – Union The house of the Aurelius was not the most adorned of all. After all, anything of the kind could be a weapon and that was not the wish of any of them. Amaia Aurelius was looking forward to that day. The three great ns had been meeting for a long time, and she didn¡¯t want that, not under these circumstances. She made sure everything was in order as her blue dress was dragged across the wooden floor and her hair fastened in a perfect bun, which did not move because they were so well together. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, dear. Everything is perfect.¡± ¨C Cassius said with a smile. ¡°After the stupidity Joshuamitted, I can¡¯t face Elora so closely. A perfect union was shattered by an inconsequential brat.¡± ¨C Amaia vented while checking thest details. ¡°Joshua will fix it. He needs it. You don¡¯t throw a union between an omega and alpha predestined in this way. For a stupidity.¡± ¡°The question is¡ does he really want to? I wouldn¡¯t me Thomas for rejecting him forever after the humiliation he went through.¡± ¨C Amaia continued to finely sit down. The inte rang and one of the security guards announced the arrival of Elora Abiyoe who, unlike usual, wore only a pair of jeans and a light blue shirt. ¡°It¡¯s been a long time, Amaia, Cassius.¡± ¨C she greeted them, sitting next to the woman and taking one of the snacks from the table. ¡°It really has been a long time. I hope your family is well.¡± ¨C Mai smiled. ¡°I expect the same from you, dear. And speaking of families, I have some information that might cheer you up. Tomorrow I¡¯ll get our granddaughter in high school.¡± Amaia widened her eyes in surprise. She knew the boldness of Elora Abiyoe, however, did not imagine that the woman would deliver her granddaughter to danger. ¡°Are you saying that Elisa is in a college that has been attacked several times?¡± Elora smiled at me. ¡°Exactly. Don¡¯t worry, Thomas and Joshua will protect her. She¡¯s safe, with our blood flowing through her veins.¡± ¡°Elora is right, Mai.¡± ¨C Cassiusforted her. ¡°Our blood is strong. Elisa is protected.¡± Amaia calmed down when she heard her husband¡¯s words. However, fear still took its toll.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. ¡°It was the quickest way to get the truth out. Thomas is too stubborn to do something he doesn¡¯t want.¡± ¨C Elora replied. ¡°And I¡¯m sure you took the chance to send a spy to school.¡± ¨C Cassius smiled, straightening his white hair and staring at the woman with his gray eyes. ¡°Exactly. I¡¯m d you know me so well.¡± At that moment, the Ramesses were announced. As expected, both wore red. Verena greeted them with a smile and Otho just waved. And as soon as they sat down, Cassius and Elora looked at the man in charge. ¡°What a warm wee.¡± ¨C he said with disdain. ¡°I see that I am being used of something.¡± ¡°used of throwing away our greatest asset for a silly revenge. Certainly, Ramesses.¡± ¨C Cassius said firmly. ¡°Nothing I do is silly, Aurelius. I do not see the reason to protect so much the offspring of that abuser.¡± ¨C replied Otho with disdain look. ¡°If it is not silly, it is at least stupid. What they are you shall owe the same.¡± ¨C replied Elora. ¡°We are going through a crisis. Our children, lineages and all the packs are in danger. And kill thest connection to solve this problem. It is certainly a nonsense without size.¡± ¨C ended up drinking some wine. Otho looked at them, angry. ¡°It¡¯s not forgivable what Cohen did.¡± ¨C he said squeezing his fingers. ¡°You¡¯ve exterminated them, Otto. The girl also suffered at his hands. She¡¯s innocent. She¡¯s also Karim¡¯s omega. I will not allow you to kill our son¡¯spanion.¡± ¨C Verena said, Staring enraged. Their eyes turned bright yellow and the energy was tense with everyone about to defend themselves. Until a velvety voice said: ¡°It seems I arrived in good time. ¡± ¨C Jae Hyunughed. He waved and sat in the chair farthest from them. The Ramesses seemed to calm down at the same time. ¡°So it¡¯s you. The informer and the primordial omega. I thank you for taking care of our children.¡± ¨C Cassius greeted him. ¡°I do no more than my duty, Mr Aurelius.¡± Otho moved in the chair, impatient. He didn¡¯t like the arrogance he thought that omega had. ¡°Why did you bring us here, anyway?¡± Jae Hyun observed it. In the end, this man was not as different from Lincoln as he thought. ¡°We¡¯re at the moment fighting someone who¡¯s almost invincible. Someone who can¡¯t be killed, just arrested. Your children are the key to that. After all, the cursees from your ancestors.¡± The me appeared on their faces and Jae Hyun ignored and continued: ¡°I need all the information you have. I know you don¡¯t want to see your children in danger. But they¡¯re already involved in it. Everyone needs to heal their own curse and you don¡¯t, but stop it. It¡¯s something for them to solve. You can¡¯t interfere.¡± ¡°What are the chances of this working?¡± ¨C The Miss Aurelius asked, intrigued. Not liking can not help young people. ¡°Minimal. But, it¡¯s a chance.¡± ¨C Jae Hyun spoke sincerely. He observed everyone¡¯s fear, but continued. ¡°Your ancestors were chosen. Now your descendants are the solution. It¡¯s time to finally act and not hide in the shadows. The union between omega and alphas will be more important at this time. It makes us stronger. We can¡¯t waste that connection.¡± ¡°You say that, but, fight your own alpha.¡± ¨C Otto said arrogantly. Jae smiled at me. ¡°If I were on the same side as him. You¡¯d be lost.¡± He looked deep into the man¡¯s eyes and said: ¡°Besides, I don¡¯t think you know the true value of a marriage, Lord Ramesses.¡± ¨C he said settling in the chair. ¡°A marriage between an alpha and an omega is a sacred union. A union blessed by Mother, and brings the power of both lineages involved. It brings a power of respect, strength and love. Something that can help fight evils and make the other can even heal. A pact that unites soul, body and mind. A union that can prevent one from killing the other. ¡± Jae hyun gave a heartbroken smile. ¡°I see how selfish you are, Lord Ramesses. You don¡¯t think of your own son and how he would be deste to exterminate his own omega. Your ego is your ruin and I hope it¡¯s not ours.¡± That said, crows appeared at the scene and leaving everyone in shock, he disappeared in the middle of them. ¡°We¡¯ll meet soon. ¡± ¨C It was thest thing they heard from his voice. 25 – Fears and secrets The next day, Jae Hyun warned the group that they would have to leave, but that he would better apany them. ¡°A lot of people get a lot of attention. So we¡¯ll do separate trips. I think Sera should go first, after all Kallias can attack you looking for her.¡± He looked at the youth and continued. ¡°Sera is thest piece. That¡¯s why he wants her so badly. If Kallias arrests Sera, he can use his mother¡¯s blessing to deliver to the wolves he deems worthy.¡± That said, the omega came out, warning that it would pick them up in 2 hours. ¡ª¡ª¨C ¡°Will you do something crazy with me?¡± ¨C Karim asked with a smile. ¡°Anyone who does not approach Kallias and leave us close to death, I ept.¡± ¨C she wrote with a smile.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. Karimughed, giving her a kiss on the forehead with affection. ¡°We go to your house and even mine together. My father may interfere, but I can no longer be afraid of him.¡± ¡°I will be with you.¡± ¨C Sera stroked her face. ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¨C Jae hyun entered the room they had given him in the Wolf Paws. It was not bad, it was even too good for someone who had been sleeping for too long. He sat on the bed, realizing that he could no longer close his eyes and sleep. He had done so for a long time. The feeling at the time was good, calm and peaceful. As if he lived in a cocoon, protected. However, it was a lie, an illusion to deceive him. Something that, ording to Kallias, was to protect him. Did your husband know he was being consumed by his alpha ego? Jae hyun didn¡¯t know to answer that for sure. ¡°You know we¡¯re on a dangerous path.¡± Kallias was there next to him. Of course, not physically. His protection was very well done. ¡°Yes, we are.¡± he replied looking into the heterochromatic eyes of Kallias. ¡°But each has chosen the side he wants to follow.¡± Kallias smiled, a smile that Jae Hyun had already loved and that inside, still loved. ¡°I do not want to fight you.¡± ¨C the blonde said, caressing his face, and even if he was not there for real, Jae Hyun could feel it. ¡°I don¡¯t want to fight you either, honey. But, you¡¯re insane. Our kind shouldn¡¯t be treated like you¡¯re treating it.¡± Kallias sighed for it. ¡°Imagine our old home back, Jae. The wolves finally have their real powers. Not just with a poor remnant of them. Imagine a golden age, where we are happy again. And Mother can guide you once more.¡± Jae hyun remembered centuries ago. Wolves lived free. The union of alphas and omega was sacred. There was no one who interfered or found it illegal. It was something respected, because it was blessed by Mother. Today, her voice didn¡¯t matter. It was forgotten as if it were just a whisper. Jae hyun remembered when talking to Mother and that she advised and protected him. It was the most beautiful moment of his life, when he and Kallias got married and when Mother herself blessed them. But that was a distant memory. At that moment, Kallias¡¯ hand overpowered his. ¡°We can have it again. This world that we once lived is within our reach.¡± Jae hyun looked into his eyes. Wishing that was true. Wishing that it wasn¡¯t really a lie to persuade him. ¡°Not like that.¡± And that way, Jae Hyun touched Kallias¡¯ face, sending energy through him. Kallias¡¯ eyes closed, and he disappeared. Wherever the semi God was, he would be asleep. At least for a while. Jae hyun sat on the bed, sighing. This was painful for him, though, necessary. Now they had little time. ¡ª¡ª¡ª- Sera ran to pack her bags. It¡¯s not like she had too many things. But in one day a lot could happen and she should be prepared. ¡°I will miss you.¡± ¨C Kyria hugged her. Sera smiled, returning the hug. ¡°I will also feel.¡± ¨C She signaled. ¡°But it will be only a few days that we will not see each other. I hope all trips go well.¡± This still worried Sera. Kallias could attack any of them. However, she had to trust Jae Hyun. And a few minutes, both men were already outside. Jae hyun made a signal for the youth to apany him. Outside the school was a ck car and style that the older man asked them to enter. As soon as the journey began, Sera fell asleep on Karim¡¯s shoulder. Jae hyun smiled at the scene, remembering his time. ¡°Do you miss him, Kallias?¡± ¨C Karim asked, watching the nostalgic look of the elder. ¡°Yes, I do feel it.¡± Karim looked to the side and asked: ¡°Were you enemies before?¡± Jae hyun smiled, of course he knew that this question was not about him and Kallias. ¡°No, we weren¡¯t. But I know you¡¯re not talking about me.¡± Karim gave a slight smile. ¡°I fear what my father can do to Sera. Because of his hatred for her n.¡± ¡°There are times we must face those we love. Of course, I think our parents can be something different. We have respect, love and even fear. We want to impress them. We don¡¯t want to betray them, but there are times when we should. If you think it¡¯s time to face your father. Just trust your gut.¡± Karim was thoughtful for a few minutes. But he got up the courage and asked: ¡°Is that what Kallias wants? Impress Mother?¡± Jae hyun thought of that question. ¡°I think it¡¯s a mixture of wanting to impress and protect her. It was sad to see her suffering when she lost the connection with the wolves. It¡¯s devastating when you create someone and you realize that your union is forgotten. How well¡ you¡¯re not important anymore.¡± He turned the car to the next corner and continued: ¡°Kallias want to see this restored. I want to see this connection between Mother and her children again. But he doesn¡¯t understand that the way he¡¯s acting, he¡¯s just hurting her even more. She tries to get to him. But your own son doesn¡¯t ept her connection.¡± Karim thought about how sad it was. ¡°Can¡¯t Mother do anything for it? ¡± ¡°Mother cannot interfere in the free referee of the other. Not even in that of Kallias. She wants him to stop willingly. But maybe it¡¯s not possible. ¡± Kallias remembered her aunt, who would like to bring Mother¡¯s presence again, but was not heard by her father. He wasn¡¯t just doing it for him and Sera or the wolves, only. He was doing it for her. Silence reigned for the rest of the trip. It wasn¡¯t long before they arrived at Sera¡¯s old house. No one dared pass by because they thought they were cursed. In fact, Karim knew that her father had been very intelligent. The Cohen massacre took ce in the nearby town, which brought fame to the site and so no one would bother them there. He was angry at the thought of that man. However, Lincoln was no longer there to be the target of his wrath. Karim hastened to wake Sera, fearful of her reaction to being back in that dark ce. But her greatest fear was to tell her that he had already been there. Chapter 26 – Call of Those Who Were. Sera had read that the ce changed people. That they were different people depending on the ce. She wondered if this was her case. And found that there was a good chance of that when she got out of the car. Seeing her old house reminded her of memories. When that man was still there. Her mind wandered to an unlikely possibility that he was still there and that after so long gone, he would return to haunt there. A force of her own mind made her kneel on the ground. Her limbs trembled when she heard a noiseing from the trees. Sera¡¯s eyes widened in fear. Already hearing his voice and the noise of the belt cracking in his ear. Shaking even more, she shrank to the ground, expecting the worst. But, it does note. What Sera felt was a gentle touch on her back. Well, different from what she had received from that man. ¡°Sera, breathe. He can¡¯t hurt you anymore.¡± ¨C Karim, said softly. Sera took a deep breath, along with Karim. Inhaling and Exhaling. She calmed down, even though she was still trembling, those thoughts had vanished from her mind. Karim helped her up and hugged her. Sera thought that at that moment, she had really changed. Before, it would be hard to allow a man to get that close. But Karim wasn¡¯t just anyone. Sera stopped trembling as she felt his scent. She was immersed in that smell until she heard a noise from the door being opened. ¡°I¡¯m sorry. I¡¯m someone really curious.¡± ¨C Jae Hyun smiled. Sera smiled and separated from Karim, they entered. Karim, had been there before. But I had not seen the house from the inside. Cohen had forced his daughter to live. The Alpha shook hands, enraged. However, he knew there was no point in being angry at someone dead. Karim took a deep breath and followed Sera and Jae Hyun. The room where they were was small and dusty, full of old papers. He gave a small cough when Sera opened the window. ¡°The first time I came here, was when I found the note from Lady Cordelia.¡± ¨C Sera wrote. They kept looking and Sera ended up frustrated. There was nothing there. She threw the papers down in anger. ¡°There¡¯s nothing useful here. I came to this dark ce for nothing.¡± ¡°Your father was not dumb, Sera. He hid in this ce for years. He was also very attached to his n. I doubt that all the information was lost. Let¡¯s keep looking.¡± ¨C Jae Hyunforted her. They kept searching until Karim felt something different in one part of the floor, something hollow. He soon removed that part of the floor, revealing many documents in addition to photos of the Cohen n. Sera soon read the papers. There was a lot of information about her n. Like her parents¡¯ marriage certificate. There were some papers on the Cohen bloodline, but nothing to help them. However, she noticed something. Two papers, one of them was a spell in an ancientnguage. She imagined it was something like that, because there were drawings of potions on the paper. And the second was something old, torn and in it was a painting of someone she had seen. Mother was painted there, with a smile in all its glory. The paper seemed to have been burned, however, Sera felt that there was no chance for such attempts. She watched the paper, trying to find some clue that could help them. Until a voice pops into her head. ¡°So you¡¯re finally here again, child.¡± Sera fell when she heard Mother¡¯s voice in front of her. The woman was close to her, with the same smile she remembered.? N?velDrama.Org - All rights reserved. ¡°Come on. I¡¯ll show you something. Now, with your closest wolf. You can listen. Your parents stabbed me in the back, depriving you of your powers.¡± ¨C she said angrily. ¡°Now is the time for you to see.¡± Sera stood up and followed her in a trance. Karim tried to stop her, but Jae Hyun held his arm. ¡°Mother¡¯s with her. Don¡¯t get in the way.¡± Sera followed the goddess outside. A few secondster, she felt her body be faster and be taken beyond the forest. Sera felt dizzy and almost did not recognize the ce. However, after a few seconds she stood. The ce was the same where she had passed to get to the city. And then she saw everything. It had been a long time, but how could she have forgotten? Sera fell on her knees on the rough ground, she looked at the ghost town and the forest and cried. Steps were heard and she saw people from her n. All were bloodied and with vague nces. Some had severed heads and other body parts. Sera felt nauseous just by looking. ¡°Traitor¡±. ¨C they shouted in unison. ¡°Traitor. The one who has affection for the one who killed us.¡± ¨C Their voice increased even more. ¡°Traitor.¡± Sera found herself surrounded by people who were holding her. She could not speak or defend herself. ¡°It¡¯s not that. It¡¯s not his fault. The man of your n is the monster here.¡± ¡°Traitor. You betrayed him. You betrayed our n and love the one who killed us.¡± Sera felt her blood boiling. How could they use her like that? She wanted to scream. Her voice did note out. She tried several, but no results. Even so, Sera stood up. Her brown eyes turned yellow and her wolf appeared beside her. The animal howled and growled. And Sera felt her shared anger. She tried to speak and her voice came out, not her mouth, but her wolf¡¯s. ¡°I¡¯m not to me here. How dare you me me? I would rather die with you than suffer for years with the monster belonging to your n.¡± Her voice echoed loud and clear and all the dead were still. ¡°I am not to me for your death. I never wished you dead. I wished that we were still a family and that someone of good heart of this n was still alive.¡± Her wolf said and Sera could feel the tears running down her face. ¡°However, nothing happens as we wish. Karim is not to me for anything. Much less me, who was the victim of years of a madman. Karim and I are destined and we can change the fate of our ns. You must forget the past and trust us to build the future. ¡± At the end, there was only silence. All the angry faces became calm, the wounds became light and all disappeared. Sera fell again, exhausted. ¡°I¡¯m proud of you, Sera. ¡± ¨C she saw her mother, Ada, in front of her. Ada smiled and touched her face, kissing her head. Sera cried. Wishing she was really there. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, dear. I betrayed Mother and took her power. I left you helpless for so long. Forgive me.¡± ¡°It¡¯s over, Mama. What matters is that I can defend myself now.¡± She saw Ada¡¯s smile before she disappeared. And Mother also smiled before leaving. If she kept quiet for a few seconds, she wanted to have that contact for longer. Everything was quiet until Sera heard Karim¡¯s voice calling her. He saw her and ran to hug her. She smiled and pressed his shirt. Sera knew they could change the future of their ns. Upon returning to her old home, she passed by a ce she wished to forget. A ce that would haunt her forever and make her think those people might be right somehow. Chapter 27 – Ancestors It had already cooled when everyone returned to the hut. Jae Hyun began to trante the spell and Sera and Karim set up a fire outside, as they were not useful for such a task. Karim looked at Sera and smiled. He wished to kiss her. But he should be responsible. ¡°I need to tell you something.¡± ¨C he said, holding her hands and smiling, looking deeply into her eyes. Sera shook his hand, worried. But he waved asking to continue. ¡°I¡¯ve been here in these woods, near your house. I¡¯ve seen you before Wolf Paws. The n that was here the day before you arrived at the school was mine.¡± ¨C He said finally, looking away. Sera walked away on instinct. She lowered her head, upset. Several thoughts passed through her mind. How could she trust Karim now? Something inside her believed in him, the other made her feel fearful. ¡°I¡¯m so sorry. I should have told you before, but¡ but when I started liking you, I was afraid you¡¯d walk away.¡± She looked at him again and Karim continued:Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. ¡°That day, we heard a rumor that some trace of the Cohens was in that forest. It came from an ancient prophetess of the n, I confess I do not believe. Anyway, I smelled it. Since you¡¯re not a wolf, it seems disposable to my father. But, I felt it and my instinct made me follow you.¡± Karim looked at the cabin with a smile. ¡°This is where I saw you dancing in the rain. And even though it was wet, I could still smell you. At that moment, I had to let you go. I didn¡¯t know what we were yet, but I knew I couldn¡¯t give you to my father. so I lied and I decided to protect you. That¡¯s what my alpha wanted.¡± Sera stroked his face while he continued: ¡°The wolf that protected you was me. ¡± This time, Sera was not surprised, she already expected. ¡°I¡¯m sorry for keeping this from you. I swear what I promised you is true. I just don¡¯t want my father to cause discord between us. And sure enough, he¡¯d use that suit against me.¡± Sera waved and kissed him. Karim smiled and understood that she trusted him. However, her gaze was soon taken to the ce they passed when their encounter with the Goddess ended. ¡°You don¡¯t have to say anything if you¡¯re not ready.¡± ¨C Karim kissed her hand. Sera smiled and wrote: ¡°Thank you.¡± Sera wondered if she would tell anything about her past when they were interrupted by Jae Hyun. The girl looked away, ashamed. However, the man did not seem concerned about them. He stared at the role of the spell. And with a gesture, he asked them toe in. The younger ones followed him and he presented the paper before the candle to be illuminated. ¡°I¡¯m sorry we don¡¯t have better lighting conditions.¡± ¨C Sera wrote. ¡°No problem. It reminds me of the past. When these novelties did not exist and we had to use nature to live. ¡± ¨C I said smiling. Jae Hyun showed them the paper and began to exin: ¡°This is a ritual done on the family omegas that can get pregnant. This cuts the mother¡¯s connection at the root, creating a barrier. If the connection with the Mother was already scarce, what they did was a sin, a heresy. Against the Mother and against all the omega that went through it. ¨C He spoke angrily, squeezing the paper. ¡± It¡¯s a painful process and I¡¯m sure they didn¡¯t want to go through it just for a chance to have a chosen child. ¡± Sera also felt enraged. What did your n have to go through for selfish reasons? Shortly after this thought, his head began to ache. Sera shrank, holding the spot. ¡°Sera, Sera. What was it? ¡± ¨C Karim asked. She couldn¡¯t hear his voice. The only thing she heard was screams. Several people from her n appeared before her. But they weren¡¯t from that time. Sera was sure of that. The clothes were very different from what she knew. They all had a look of pain and sadness. She heard every cry and it made her scream, she saw every tear and it made her cry and felt all the pain they went through by losing the connection with the divine source of life, the connection with whom she would bless her children. Sera felt all the anguish and distress of losing this bond. She cried and cried, as if something essential was taken from her. A feeling of emptiness gripped her chest for a few minutes. And when everything calmed down, she could feel all the power of those omegas and all the force that had been taken from them and their lineage. Her eyes turned yellow and she let herself be filled with this power. ¡°Sera, you have to cleanse the sin your n hasmitted. Cleanse all the filth that has contaminated these wronged omegas. That is your duty. This ce is no longer useful. Let the fire purify you and at least cleanse the dark energy of everything you¡¯ve been through here.¡± Mother looked at Sera closely. Almost swallowing her with her eyes. Sera watched her and epted her challenge. All the omega of her n turned into wolves and howled. Her wolf appeared beside her and also howled. Sera stopped crying and returned to reality. She took a deep breath, calming down. Karim touched her shoulder, worried. She smiled at him, tired. The sensations still remained in her body. Even so, Sera wasted no time and told what she witnessed. In both encounters with Mother. Jae hyun smiled at her. ¡°That¡¯s wonderful, Sera. It¡¯s proof that you can clean up your lineage¡¯s mistakes and change its pattern and future. This began with his mother who, by not being born into the Cohen family, had not been the victim of such a spell and it was broken by his birth. Do not worry, your children will not inherit such weight. And now, you have freed those who carried you.¡± He stroked her head and stood up. ¡°I think we should obey the Goddess¡¯s wish then. ¡± And having said that, Jae handed Sera a lighter. They left the hut and she threw the object at the scene. When it all began to burn, she felt relief. The wolves of her pack appeared, now running free through the forest. Sera smiled and got into the car with Jae Hyun and Karim. But something was still bothering her. She looked back and saw nothing. However, as she closed her eyes, she saw Linlcon. This made her realize that her greatest fear still existed within her. And there was no ancestor who could help ovee it. Chapter 28 – The Honor of an Alpha The Ramesses¡¯ house was beautiful with ss windows and a beautiful garden outside and stood on a hill above a river of crystal clear water. Verena waited for them in front of the door with a smile. When Sera and Karim came out of the car holding hands, she ran to hug them. Sera smiled, at least Karim¡¯s mother didn¡¯t seem averse to her like his father. ¡°I¡¯m d to meet you. You don¡¯t have to get so tense. Otto¡¯s not home right now. Come on, I prepared what you asked me to, Karim, honey.¡± ¡°It¡¯s a pleasure to meet you, ma¡¯am. Your house is beautiful.¡± ¨C Sera wrote. ¡°Oh dear, thank you.¡± ¨C he said directing his gaze to Jae Hyun. ¡°Nice to see you Mr Kim.¡± The house inside was cold floor and cream-colored walls. Verena took them to an office with the papers on a wooden table. Sera smiled upon seeing pictures of the family on the table. This made her wish she had something of the sort someday. Quickly, with no time to observe further, the group began to read the Ramesses family papers. ¡°Mom, can you tell us something about my aunt¡¯s death?¡± ¨C Karim asked. Verena denied in a gesture, immediately answering: ¡°I was pregnant with your brother when it happened. Almost inbor. I tried to get information from your father about it, but got no answers. Realizing that it would not work, I stopped insisting.¡± Karim watched her for a few seconds and Sera could see how they were alike, both possessing a gentle look. Obviously, when your alpha wasn¡¯t being an arrogant jerk. ¡°And where was she buried?¡± Venera took a long breath. ¡°It¡¯s a secret I don¡¯t know to this day.¡± Verena left them alone to analyze the papers. Those containing ancientnguages were handed over to Jae Hyun. While Karim and Sera took care of the rest. There was nothing important so far, only historical issues of family and family tree. Sera looked at the papers, disappointed. ¡°I found something.¡± ¨C Karim eximed with a smile. He showed Sera a drawing of a silhouette of a seated woman. ¡°I discovered this painting as a child, while ying with Theo, my brother.¡± Karim walked around the office looking for something. Soon he stood in front of a portrait of an Egyptian gentleman with a long beard and removed him from the wall. Behind him was another portrait, painted with the same silhouette of the paper. But now it was possible to see a young woman with gentle eyes, ck hair and yellow eyes, in a beautiful white and gold dress. Karim looked at the portrait with a homesick smile. ¡°It¡¯s her for sure, Aunt Damia.¡± Karim also removed her portrait and behind it was a white-bound notebook. The alpha opened it and Sera began to read with him, silently. 01/04/2004 ¡°Dreams intensifiedst night. I thought they were silly things, but I woke up with the memory of my wolf staring at me.¡± 01/05/2004 ¡°Mother appeared to me today. She has a wonderful energy that I can¡¯t exin. I can¡¯t believe we forgot her. Today I woke up with tears in my eyes.¡± 05/07/2004 ¡°I¡¯ve been trying for months to convince Otto to set up an altar for Mother. He won¡¯t listen to me. I¡¯m afraid that will have consequences.¡± 10/08/2004 Lincoln Cohen has been looking at me strangely. It must be me. 15/09/2004 Lincoln invited me to be his omega. I rejected it. He seems like someone cold and insensitive. I don¡¯t want to have any rtionship with him. 11/25/2004 I feel dirty¡ n¡ n¡ I don¡¯t believe that ¡. He¡ he did it to me. I took more than three baths today, this feeling does not disappear. If Otto finds out, there¡¯ll be a war. This part was stained with tears and Sera fell to her knees. She felt the tears running down her face, knowing exactly how Damia felt. Karim hugged her as she relived memories and cried in sobs. Now, they understood Otto¡¯s anger at the Cohens. That¡¯s how Lincoln Cohen really was a monster. Sera wiped away the tears and indicated the diary, asking them to continue reading. She couldn¡¯t let herself go at that moment. 12l12/2004 For the first time, my wolf got out of control. I can¡¯t remember why I was angry. But I know it hurt a lot of people. Maybe it has something to do with the Cohen thing? 02/02/2005 I¡¯m scared of myself and my wolf. My power seems uncontroble. I don¡¯t know how many people I¡¯ve hurt. 12/03/2006 Today my nephew, Karim was born. He is mayor. The only good thing in the midst of the madness I am living. Thest date of writing was 6/24/2010, near the date of birth of Theo Ramesses. ¡°There is nothing here about her body. Did you discover something, Mr Kim?¡± ¨C Karim asked. Jaeughed out of her immersion and smiled. ¡°It is not necessary to be so cordial. Call me Jae Hyun.¡± ¨C noting the roles, he denied. ¡°No, there is nothing.¡± Everyone was silent, trying to find a solution until they heard agitated footsteps approaching. The door was opened suddenly by none other than Otto Ramesses, with an expression of anger. ¡°This girl is not allowed to be here.¡± he shouted. Karim stood in front of Sera. ¡°I invited her. So she can, yes.¡± she said raising her voice and facing her father. ¡°Get out of the way, boy. I¡¯ll finish what you couldn¡¯t.¡± ¨C Otto growled. And at that moment, Sera was surprised to feel his power and anger. It was a feeling that drove her away by showing the anger of her alpha, but also weed her, because she was protecting her. Otto was not intimidated by his son¡¯s reaction. His eyes became even more yellow and he growled, showing his pointed teeth. ¡°Fight for your omega, that stupid child. Get out of the way before I kill you too.¡± Karim growled and transformed. Sera held her breath when she saw her Lupina form once again. He had not lied, the one who protected her had always been Ramesses. Otto gave his son no chance to attack and turned into a double-sized wolf, attacking his son, throwing him out the window. Sera tried to act, but Jae Hyun held her. ¡°That¡¯s something for Karim to sort out.¡± The fight continued in the garden. Karim was faster, but Otto was stronger. The son managed to dodge the father¡¯s attacks, but one bite was enough for a serious injury to be done to his stomach. Karim fell and soon stood up in pain. His eyes stared at his father with hatred and determination. He growled and attacked directly into his chest, when the elder swerved, he quickly took a jump against his back, biting him in the rib. Otto howled and then pulled his son with his teeth and pressed him against the ground. Sera looked at it with wide eyes at the sound of something breaking. She ran to Karim, but could not reach him. Strong arms held her at once, squeezing her neck. Sera suffocated as Karim stood up, still dizzy. ¡°Let her go.¡± ¨C said tired. Otto ignored looking into Sera¡¯s eyes. ¡°Your filthy bloodline ends now, daughter of Lincoln Cohen.¡± ¡°Vo¡ you are not di-ferente de-le.¡± ¨C she said trying to breathe. That speech infuriated Otto who tightened his neck further. When Sera thought he was going to die, two white wolves jumped at his attacker. ¡°Release her now, Otto.¡± ¨C Sera heard Verena¡¯s voiceing from the lesser wolf. The man smiled wickedly and in quick steps approached the edge of the hill and said. ¡°With pleasure. I will have the honor of doing what your weak son could not.¡±Content ? N?velDrama.Org. And having said that, he released Sera, causing her to fall into the river. Chapter 29 – Message Fear Cold. Paz. Sera closed her eyes for a moment, they were already burning due to the water. Peace. When did she feel that feeling before? When she felt safe and not afraid? Sure, there was a long time. She got carried away by that feeling. What would it be like to let that peace fill her mind? She would finally join her ancestors and perhaps be able to live without Lincoln¡¯s ghost tormenting her. Sera would finally live without fear. Would anyone miss you? Certainly. But it would soon be forgotten. Karim could find another omega, her father would not be so angry, Kyria and Thomas would continue their life and she would have peace. But something deep in his mind wondered if it was fair. Disappear only to forget the pain others have caused her. No! That was not fair! Why should she stop living and not be happy? Wouldn¡¯t that be the same as letting the one who hurt her win? With this thought, she had the strength to fight and swim to the top. One of the few things Sera was proud of was being a great swimmer. Lucky for Lincoln there was no ce in that prison she could do it. Then she swam across theke. But when she submerged, she noticed something suspicious in the depths. Maybe, a cave, with a different glow. Sera would be foolish to let this opportunity pass. She only hoped that Karim would be okay. ¡ª¨C Karim attacked his father, furious. Otto was thrown to the ground while his son attacked him with his ws and sharp teeth, mercilessly. Anger gripped Karim and her wolf. ¡°How dare you? How dare you touch my omega?¡± ¨C He growled. Otto had no chance to defend himself. Karim¡¯s anger was too great and he could not contain himself. ¡°Karim. Karim.¡± ¨C Verena screamed, desperate. ¡°Stop, you will kill him.¡± Otto fought back, throwing him to the ground, already bleeding from his wounds. He bit Karim¡¯s neck and his son screamed. Even so, the youngest fought back with a kick in his right eye. Otto grunted in pain and Karim took the chance to bite him in the stomach, making him fall and finally give up fatigue. ¡°You are already old, father.¡± ¨C Karim, said panting, turning into a human. ¡°Your reign is over, I am the alpha of the family now.¡± Verena ran to take care of her son and husband. Karim was stumbling, wishing to transform again to look for Sera. He knew she wasn¡¯t dead. ¡°Karim, wait. Mr. Kim is already looking for Sera. Let me take care of your injuries.¡± ¨C Verena stopped him. Karim gave a groan of anguish, but allowed his mother to take care of him. He only expected Sera to be well. ¡ª¨C As much as Sera enjoyed swimming, she felt good stepping into a dry spot. The cave wasn¡¯t as humid as thest one she stepped in. But it was pretty cold in there. She hugged as she trembled, trying to warm up a little. She kept walking and thanked her for the sun not yet set. There was nothing too much in the cave until she noticed something carved into one of the walls. A woman, and Sera understood that it was there that the body of Damia Ramesses was. Sera tried to look for an opening, but, there was nothing in sight. She searched around, but, unsolved. Until a peep was heard and a crow entered the scene. Secondster, he transformed into Jae Hyun. ¡°I found you.¡± ¨C he said. Sera pointed to the door and Jae Hyun watched her. He tried to open it and also found no solution. ¡°We will have to bring Karim here. I think only the blood of the family can open this door.¡± ¨C he replied. Sera signalled, asking how he was, visibly worried. Jae Hyun smiled and said that Karim would soon be there. At least that¡¯s what he expected since he hadn¡¯t seen the end of the fight. They didn¡¯t know if they woulde back or if they would stay there. Ser¨¢ thought it would only disturb Karim if he approached in the middle of the fight. But she was also distressed without knowing the result. 10 or 20 minutes passed, everything seemed like an eternity for Sera. Until they heard footsteps and she saw Karim, wounded, but well. His wounds were well cared for. Sera ran to hug him and he hugged her back, giving a small groan of pain. But still, stroking her hair and kissing her forehead. She looked at him with an apologetic look and he smiled. ¡°I brought your notebook.¡± Sera smiled thanking him and writing: ¡°Did you hurt yourself badly?¡± Karim denied it with her head. ¡°I¡¯m fine. I managed to smell her smell up here. Looks like they found something.¡± ¨C he pointed to the door. ¡°It looks a lot like her face.¡± Karim approached and touched the door, nothing happened. He then cut off the prop hand with his fangs and repeated the act. Finally, the door opened. Without waiting any longer, they entered. As expected, Damia Ramesses¡¯ body was intact. Sera could feel her mother¡¯s energy there. The woman was dressed in a white dress and her hands were together. She stood above a marble tomb. Karim touched her hands and smiled longingly.Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. ¡°Ask to receive her power, Karim. Ask Mother to transfer it to you.¡± ¨C Jae Hyun taught. Karim sighed, he didn¡¯t know how to do it. He had never prayed or known Mother. But she took courage and closed her eyes and remembered everything her aunt had taught her about Mother. ¡°Mother, if I don¡¯t know you and have never thanked or asked for anything. But I ask you to help us in this moment, that my aunt¡¯s power may be passed on to me so that we may continue your legacy and bring your presence back to our world.¡± At the same moment, a blue light shone from Damia¡¯s body. Karim felt the power within him and could hear wolves howling around him. Mother hugged him and said in his ear: ¡°You are wee my son.¡± His wounds healed and he felt warm hands supporting him and soon after, cold hands took his ce. Turning back, Karim saw Damia smiling at him. She kissed his forehead and both disappeared. However, something appeared in his mind soon after. An old house, but well city and beautiful. He did not know what that ce was. However, Sera soon smiled and wrote: ¡°We have the next ce. I¡¯ll be happy to meet my mother¡¯s real home.¡± Chapter 30 – The house of the Abrams Karim asked her not to enter his house when they returned there. They didn¡¯t know where Otto had gone. But, Karim didn¡¯t mind. Soon, they would leave. ¡°That was thest ce we know the Abrams were. Our n searched for Lincoln there, thinking he¡¯d be at his wife¡¯s house.¡± ¨C Verena gave the map to Sera. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, dear, that my husband¡¯s n did something so horrible to your mother.¡± Sera denied with her head and wrote: ¡°It¡¯s not your fault ma¡¯am. We¡¯ll soon change that.¡± ¨C she wrote and soon after, smiled taking Karim¡¯s hand. Sera knew that Verena could do nothing to stop her husband from taking revenge. They said goodbye and Verena waved. Karim offered to drive in Jae Hyun¡¯s ce but he denied it. ¡°I¡¯m not sleepy like¡¡± At that moment a headache seized him and he leaned on the car. ¡°Are you okay?¡± ¨C Karim asked and Sera looked at him, worried. Jae Hyun sighed, rposing himself. ¡°Yes, I am. But I ept your proposal to direct.¡± When they hit the road, Jae Hyun recounted making Kallias sleep temporarily. ¡°A little revenge for my imprisonment in the past.¡± ¨C heughed. ¡°Kallias is fighting my spell. But fear not. We still have some time. The journey was a bit long and Sera was tense with the possible presence of Kallias. However, she trusted Jae Hyun and his protection. She smiled as she felt the wind on her face and aspirated the fresh air from that spot. The house of the Abrams was a little far from the city, in a vige in the interior. The ce was beautiful and wooded. All the houses had equal sizes and were very simple. The small market was full of people buying fruit and vegetables. Until someone saw Sera and approached. The person was a nice little gentleman with white hair and id shirt. Karim asked him if he knew the Abrams. ¡°Of course, young man. I¡¯ve been here since the birth of Lord Abrams. It was too sad to see sweet Ada leave the vige.¡± ¡°And do you know why she left you?¡± ¨C Karim continued. ¡°A mysterious disease has affected mother and grandmother. We don¡¯t know what it is until today. We wolves are strong and a disease like this attack us is something at least strange. However, the result was sweet Ada sent away to marry this Cohen. I was against it at the time and tried along with some others to convince Mr. Abrams not to do that. ¡± ¨C he sighed. Karim and Sera felt a chill at that time. So it was a technically known fact, which Lincoln did with Damia Ramesses. ¡°Soon after, Mr. Abrams fell ill and passed away with sadness, I think. He left the key to the house with me in case Ada returned. I waited, but it did not happen.¡± ¨C He said sad. It will be in a post-hand thrust on his arm, forting him. ¡°However, I think I have something that belongs to you, miss. You look a lot like her, the same eyes. If your name is Sera, I believe your mother left something for you.¡± The group was surprised, Sera even more so. However, she believed in destiny. Mother did not send them there atoa. With a wave, she and the two boys followed the man. Leaving his little house, you brought a small package with abel with the name of Sera written. But his father¡¯s surname was not there, only Sera Abrams and the date 12 years ago. ¡°You can go. No one touched anything when your grandfather, Cole, was gone.¡± ¨C he handed a key to Sera. ¡°It¡¯s thest house near the Forest.¡± ¡°Thank you sir¡¡± ¨C Sera smiled as she wrote. ¡°Adam Bravus. It was a pleasure, youngdy. Everyone here had a great appreciation for your family.¡± Sera waved as they left Adam behind and she pressed the package tightly against her chest as she approached the house. Sera trembled as she put the key in the lock. When she opened it, she coughed and looked for the switch quickly. Finally, she managed to light it. The house was exactly as she had seen in the vision that Kallias showed her. The kitchen was the same as Sera had seen her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother reunite. She trembled to see stains on the floor and on the table and knew they were blood. Marks that would never leave that ce. Maybe that¡¯s why her grandfather died. The remains brought memories and this was not the happiest to relive. Sera passed her hand by the table, sad. He wished it was not so. The noise of the curtains and windows being opened removed her from her reverie. As Kim aired the ce, Karim hugged her. He didn¡¯t say anything, but he didn¡¯t have to. Finally, Sera put the box on the table and opened it with a knife. Inside there was a red notebook with her name written in impable handwriting, that of her mother. Trembling, she opened, not knowing what to expect. ¡®Daughter, this is thest resort I have to tell you the whole truth. I sent it to my home, for it is safer, away from Lincoln.¡¯ Sera pressed the notebook hard, it really wasn¡¯t safe. She kept reading: ¡®I don¡¯t know how old you are now, I hope that you are already an adult and that you do not make the same mistakes as me. And that this content is unnecessary, and that I tell you everything myself. But thest thing Mother could give me was a vision that I am about to die. ¡® Sera wanted to cry, but she was strong and held her tears at that moment. She moved the sheet to the next page and continued: ¡®When I was young I was born blessed by Mother, with incredible power and had the joy of my family. But in my arrogance I boasted of being mine. I felt powerful, strong, invincible. Until my wolf did not obey me anymore and hurt many. I was lucky that no one was seriously injured, however, it brought me fear and our family. So I tried to contain myself, but it wasn¡¯t possible. Something called me to transform. I¡¯m going to tell you a secret that we weren¡¯t taught. We¡¯re not the ones who have control over our wolves. It¡¯s our connection to Mother. The part of love is her wisdom that we have in us. If this connection is not right, if we do not listen to Mother and only receive power, we do not have control and our wolf goes crazy. One day, everyone will go crazy and lose their wolves. I knew that and I was a coward, forgive me. However, there are remarkable events to tell you before my repentance. After I tried to contain my wolf, I met a man, Kallias. ¡® At that moment, Sera looked at Jae Hyun but he did not outline any expression. ¡®He was my mentor, helped me to control myself and also to know more about who I was and about my powers. I thought I was in love with him, but it was a childish crush on someone who paid attention to me. Kallias already loved someone and I wished that for myself one day. Unfortunately, my arrogance did not give me the opportunity to meet someone. I was doing well though, there were still some outbursts of anger andck of control. This led me to an unfortunate misfortune. Where I murdered your grandmother and great-grandmother. I¡¯m a murderer! Forgive me, Sera. I can¡¯t leave you anything but excuses, much love and a gift. The gift is my own power given by Mother. I denied it for years. I didn¡¯t hear it, I didn¡¯t use it for the greater good, I hid it from me and hid yours too. Forgive me for my fear of making you so fragile and for not being there to protect you. I love you, Sera. You¡¯re the only thing I¡¯m proud of. ¡®Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. Sera released the paper, trembling. Karim hugged her as tears trickled down her face. She leaned her head against his chest and sobbed. Knowing the true image of her mother left her shattered. When the chaos passed, Jae Hyun showed what was on the next page. A map to the middle of the forest in a cave. Without further ado, they passed through the forest and entered the cave. There was a door, just like Damia¡¯s. Sera opened it with her blood and I go to her mother, dressed in red as if she had not died. When Sera received her power and saw her, Ada hugged her. And Sera knew that even in spite of everything, she would still miss that hug. Chapter 31 – The truth Sera clung to Karim when they got into the car. Her mother¡¯s power was still very recent in her. Something very strong that when received, almost fainted. ¡°Use that power as I did not use it, Sera.¡± ¨C she felt Ada¡¯s arms around her. Sera felt a kiss on her forehead and secondster, Ada was gone. Waving at her with a smile. That scene was still fresh in her mind and Sera has not stopped shedding tears ever since. Karim hugged her and said nothing. He just let she cry as they made their way back to school. Jae hyun drove in silence. Kallias seemed to have calmed down, but he still possessed and intuition that there was something nned by his husband. This made him spend the entire trip waiting for something. When they finally arrived, he could finally sigh in relief. However, by the time Sera stepped outside the car, Jae Hyun knew he had sighed too soon. Several of his Crows were around the college, protecting him, came to them as a ck cloud and in polvorosa. Their pious was high and they flew around Sera shouting: ¡°Killer, Killer, Killer, Killer.¡± Sera just protected her ears and lowered her head without knowing what to do. Karim¡¯s eyes turned yellow and he growled at the Crows, trying to protect her.Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. ¡°They won¡¯t attack you. They just want to protect the school.¡± ¨C Jae Hyun shouted among the pious. He moved his hand and a barrier formed around Sera. The pious continued: ¡°Killer, killer, killer, killer.¡± Everyone in high school started going out to see what was happening. ¡°Mister Kim, what is all this?¡± ¨C Cordelia appeared at the gate, worried and frightened. ¡°It seems that Sera cannot enter the college at the moment, madam. My Crows will not allow it. For sure, Kallias did something¡± Jae Hyun thought that if what he imagined was true, Sera killing his father, surely Kallias would have taken advantage of this information. However, his Ravens were trained against Kallias and not Sera. For he did not inform the birds of anything. So someone else must have done it, your alpha surely. ¡°At the moment I have to take Sera elsewhere, director. For sure, Karim will go along. So forgive me for keeping your students away from school longer.¡± Otherrger crows appeared around him and drove away those trying to break through the barrier and attack Sera. The new birds chirped and winged them above the smaller ones, causing them to be frightened. Jae Hyun snapped her fingers and the attackers went around the school again. Soon after, he approached Sera and Karim and broke the barrier. ¡°Maybe you feel a little queasy. But, it¡¯s the fastest way to travel.¡± The big crows hugged them with their wings and the two young adults felt intense nausea and ferocious dizziness. The feeling was that their bodies would disintegrate. Finally, they disappeared leaving only feathers behind and a principal and her students very surprised. ¡ª¡ª Seeing something other than ck feathers, Karim and Sera ran to the firstwn they saw to put everything out. ¡°I thought I was going to die. What was that?¡± ¨C Karim asked in despair. ¡°Kallias took advantage of my absence and informed the Crows that Sera murdered someone. I programmed them to block Kallias, who killed several wolves. He used it against me. I can undo the programming. But it will take time. This is a safe ce. You can stay here for now. Use the guest room. ¡± That said, he just left. Leaving the two alone. ¡°Sera. Are you okay? ¡± ¨C Karim asked affecting her back. She nodded. The nausea and dizziness had already passed and they were able to explore the site. They were now in a huge garden full of roses of various colors. In the center, there was apletely white house. Around you could see a cave and a temple for Mother. Sera wondered if Jae Hyun and Kallias had lived there. They explored the site, there was food and water, clean sheets and towels. Sera¡¯s suspicion was confirmed when she opened one of the rooms and saw several picture frames with photos of Kallias and Jae Hyun. There were two also with a blond boy and eyes like Jae¡¯s. Their son for sure. However, there were none with alpha. It will be realized at that moment that Kallias did not know about the son and that that ce had been a refuge so that the semi God did not find them. They were silent all day. That is, Karim said nothing. Sera knew he was holding himself back to ask. And she was preparing to answer. After lunch, she decided to tell. But before, she was proud of Karim for being so skilled in the kitchen. Eating meat stew with his seasoning was delicious. When they sat down on the couch, Sera breathed an urgent sigh. So Karim had the courage to be the first. ¡°Did you really do that? I¡¯m not using you¡ I¡¯m just trying to understand you.¡± Tears began to flow from her face as the memories came. And something surprising, even for her, happened. Her voice came out: A soft voice, of which she had forgotten the sound, said: ¡°He hated me. He always hated me for not being a son. His only obstacle was my mother and when she was gone, he kept me alive to take out all his anger.¡± The tears increased and she pressed the fabric of the sofa with hatred. ¡°He couldn¡¯t or wanted to have a child with me. He said that everything that woulde out of me would be dirty. And that was good, me being dirty was good not to have a child of that monster bastard.¡± Karim didn¡¯t know what to say. He decided not to interrupt, even though his anger would overwhelm his blood when he heard it. If Sera would stop talking, she might not be able to. ¡°It¡¯s been 12 years. 12 years feeling disgusted by his touch. 12 years with him using me. Throwing me against the wall, hitting me with the feel and hanging myself. 12 years feeling it inside me as if it was garbage filling my body. As if every day I got dirtier. I still had to hear that it was useless, weak and not useful for nothing. ¡± She bit her lips until blood came out. ¡°Every day when I bathed, rubbing myself madly, trying to take away the feeling of dirt and repulsion that he caused me beyond the liquid from him that flowed down my legs. Every time I almost tore my skin off from rubbing, I wondered why he kept me alive. Each time I looked at the marks he left on my body. I asked Mother to send me a sign, a sign that I should stay alive.¡± Karim looked at her and had never seen a look like that knot in her eyes. Hate and anger, that is, revenge. ¡°In one day. He marked me with an iron. On my back and below my neck. I cried and cried. I begged to die. I passed out. ¡± ¨C Sera recounted crying even more, pletely frustrated. ¡°When I woke up, he told me to clean up that mess. I noticed he looked drunk. I was heating something up, I don¡¯t remember what it was. However, I noticed the iron thrown above the bed. I pretended to remove the sheets, got dressed and took the iron. I approached the fire, he had left it on to get a bottle of I do not know what. The object became hot, almost burned my hand. But, I didn¡¯t mind. That was my chance. ¡± She took a breath before continuing. ¡°I felt something different that day. A powering from within me, asking me to act. Now I think, it was my wolf. The bastard then came back, staggering like a pig. I didn¡¯t give him a chance to attack. I pierced his stomach with the iron. He screamed. I kept drilling as he screamed. The bastard ran outside. I took the boiling liquid and threw it in his face. He kept screaming, but I didn¡¯t stop.¡± ¨C she screamed at that moment. ¡°If I stopped, it would be me. That was the opportunity given me by Mother. He fell to the ground, screaming in pain. So I pierced his neck with the hot iron. He stopped moving. So, without thinking, I put alcohol in his body, I set it on fire. I saw him turn to ashes and did not regret it. I do not know how I did not burn myself being so close to the fire. But I saved myself. Only I could save myself. I may be a killer. But it was the only way to be free.¡± That said, she finally let herself falter and fell to the ground. Crying nonstop, in the midst of sobs. Karim did the only thing he could. She hugged her hard and didn¡¯t judge her. For him, Sera was a survivor and not a killer. 32 – Jealous Thomas did not know whether to go with Nayssa home. Elisa was still his concern. And he didn¡¯t know if leaving high school was safe at the time. The door was opened, frightening him. Nayssa was on the other side, with Elisa in herp, who babbled for him to pick her up. ¡°Mom said she woulde here, but since we have a mission, we¡¯d better take Elisa home ourselves.¡± ¡°The point is, I don¡¯t know if it¡¯s safer to take Elisa home.¡± ¡°We have until tomorrow to decide, don¡¯t worry. She has a lot of people watching over her.¡± Thomas agreed, still worried, and went out with Elisa to get some air. ¡°Hey deaf.¡± ¨C someone said, but, he did not listen. Thomas entered the library without noticing that someone was following him. He was the same one who followed Karim every day. The person touched her shoulder and Thomas was frightened, he put Elisa on the table, holding her so she would not fall. He stared at the other, waiting for him to speak. ¡°Hey, where¡¯s Karim and his tongue-less girlfriend?¡± -Thomas was annoyed to see him talking about Sera, but he knew there was no point in fighting with idiots. ¡°Did you not understand me? Besides being deaf, is it stupid? Answer me!¡± ¨C he cried. The cry caused Elisa to cry. Thomas ran to protect his daughter and held her in hisp, leaning against the wall. He showed his teeth at that moment and his eyes turned yellow, protecting his cub. ¡°Oh! You have a cub. Who did you have? Some alpha who dumped you? She¡¯s also defective like you?¡± Thomas growled, he could transform, however, leaving Elisa vulnerable for a few seconds. At that moment, someone appeared and knocked down his attacker. A big white wolf that Thomas would recognize the smell anywhere, was Joshua. Joshua threw Rie down. The noise made Elisa cry louder. Thomas tried to calm her down with his scent, as there was a risk of getting hurt if they left. Joshua bit Rie¡¯s chest until he screamed, the blonde boy couldn¡¯t turn. The wolf attacked his face with ws and made his eye bleed and finally transformed back into a human and punched him until his face was unrecognizable. ¡°Don¡¯t touch my omega, you worthless weakling, or my daughter.¡± ¨C He said with yellow, angry eyes. ¡± Next time, you die. That¡¯s not a warning, that¡¯s a promise.¡± Joshua finally looked at them. Thomas could feel his anger taking the ce and then diminishing upon seeing them well. However, her mouth covered in blood is the animalistic expression frightened Elisa and the omega needed to calm her, lulling her. The alpha approached, but was afraid to scare his daughter even more.N?velDrama.Org owns this. ¡°What happened here?¡± ¨C someone entered the ce, it was Yelena with Yuji in pursuit. With a quick nce, she understood the situation. At first, Yuji helped Joshua clean up and the alpha handed him something to lower the power of his pheromones. Then she checked the state of Thomas and Elisa and calmed the child with a touch that made her smile. And finally took care of the alpha he had caught. ¡°Don¡¯t worry. I won¡¯t tell anyone. What I saw here is between us. You yed a beautiful role protecting your omega. If it had no owner, I would take it for myself.¡± ¨C she flirted. Joshua approached her with a growl and she raised her hands in surrender. ¡°Calm down, calm down. I¡¯m just testing you.¡± -sheughed. ¡°Take good care of your omega, we don¡¯t always get second chances.¡± Joshua calmed down and hugged Thomas and Elisa. The omega was unresponsive and returned. Happy to have the alpha around after so long. ¡ª In the bedroom, Yelena came out of the bathroom. Her hair was wet and her thighs were showing, after all, only a white shirt covered her body. ¡°What pisses you off, Yuji?¡± ¨C She asked calmly as she approached the bed where he was sitting, she noticed his reaction to flirting with Thomas. ¡± ¡°Nothing, miss. Don¡¯t worry about a simple servant like me. ¡°Really?¡± ¨C She hugged him from behind, leaning her breasts on his back, making him shiver and blush. ¡°Even when I touch other people, you don¡¯t get angry?¡± He shook his hand on the quilt and his lips trembled. But nothing was said. ¡°Keep no secrets, dear.¡± ¨C she stroked her hair. And then he looked at Yelena, enraged, the real expression she wanted to see. ¡°¡®No, miss.¡± ¨C he said raising his voice. ¡°I must feel nothing about his affairs.¡± She smiled to see him showing his anger. ¡°Not even when I touch someone else? Don¡¯t you feel anything? Nor¡ Jealousy?¡± ¡°Of course I feel.¡± ¨C tears of anger formed me his eyes. ¡°I have to deal with being your true omega and not getting anything from you! While others do it because they are noble.¡± Yelena widened her eyes slightly when she discovered that being destined was hidden from her. However, this was not important now. She approached their faces, making Yuji blush and look away. ¡°I do not touch you because I do not notice you, or because you are not noble, Yuji. I do not touch you, because you are a beautiful and pure light that I do not wish to corrupt.¡± ¡°B-But¡ You touch them and even propose to them, aren¡¯t you afraid of corrupting them too?¡± She smiled at the naivety of the question. ¡°They are all already corrupted by their own past, unlike you, dear. I couldn¡¯t bear to see the disaster that would cause you.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t mind being corrupted. I don¡¯t mind, as long as it¡¯s for you.¡± Yelena smiled, he was really brave. ¡°Are you sure? My touch is not always kind, my kisses are not always romantic and my words are not always warm.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t care¡± ¨C Yuji said sincerely. ¡°As long as ites from you.¡± And hearing this, she smiled and looked at him, a look he had waited a long time, as if she wanted to devour her next prey. The tiger¡¯s eyes met those of the frightened bunny. And their lips met, one devouring the other without defining who was prey or predator. ¡ª- Thomas, Joshua and Elisa were found by Nayssa, she widened her eyes, surprised to see the scene. Rie woke up at that moment, he looked at Joshua angrily. ¡°Don¡¯t you dare say anything. You could be arrested for attacking an omega and a helpless child.¡± ¨C Joshua said with a murderous look. Rie shuddered with fear and simply left, staggering. Kyria appeared in the library, with a curious expression. Thomas noted that she and Nayssa were getting very close. However, he did notment. ¡°Guys, it looks like Sera and Karim are back. However, there is a confusion going on outside, I think we will not be able to see them¡± Chapter 33 – Children Yelena smiled to see Yuji asleep. She was relieved that she didn¡¯t see her back at that moment. However, it would soon happen. She touched his shoulder gently waking him up. ¡°Come on. Mr. Kim wants to talk to everyone.¡± ¡°Good morning.¡± ¨C he smiled. ¡°Good morning, love. I want to show you something before we go.¡± She removed the white shirt and showed ck roots scattered across her back. ¡°Yelena what is this?¡± -Her omega cried scared. ¡°Stay calm.¡± ¨C she said caressing his face. ¡°I¡¯ll heal. That¡¯s one of the reasons we¡¯re here at Wolf Paws.¡± ¨C she smiled. ¡°Trust me. Do you?¡± Yuji smiled and waved. ¡°Of course.¡± ¡°So, let¡¯s go. As much as I wanted to see your beautiful legs for longer. We have an appointment.¡± Yuji blushed with thement and put on the uniform as soon as possible. ¡ª- Everyone was already in the meeting room, this time without the director present. ¡°Can anyone tell me what uproar happened yesterday?¡± ¨C Yelena asked, sitting quietly. ¡°Sera and Karim returned, but Lord Kim¡¯s crows attacked them and he had to take them away.¡± -replied Kyria, loving to share the gossip. ¡°That¡¯s right, Miss. Sera and Karim are fine, don¡¯t worry. However, we have other matters at the moment.¡± Jae Hyun came in and sat next to Kyria. ¡°Kallias should now be after Sera, probably. But she¡¯s very well protected. We have to take advantage of that time. And finish the part you.¡± ¨C he said looking at Joshua and Nayssa. ¡°What¡¯s the next step?¡± Nayssa asked. ¡°I think we can go together to the two ns. Since you are united. It can save time. But I must warn you. After that mission is done, the biggest one wille. And it won¡¯t be as easy as that. There will be war. In fact, it¡¯s already having.¡± He looked at Yelena and she knew what to do. The woman stood up and took off her shirt to her shoulders. Everyone was amazed to notice the marks on his back. ¡°Kallias attacked our n before school started.¡± she said dressing again. ¡± Not everyone is immune to his powers. However, my family is also stronger than ordinary people. So we had no deaths.¡± ¡°Are you okay, Miss Petrova?¡± ¨C Kyria asked, worried. ¡°Of course, we are here to heal that. But we need you to solve the curse. If not, I and many others will have no more hope.¡± The silence was made by a bookcase until, Thomas signaled: ¡°When do we leave?¡± ¡°Soon. But I have one more thing to show you.¡± A light came from his hand and a raven appeared. ¡°We wolves, we can make contracts with like-minded beings. You will still learn this, if one day we return to our old, Gloria. The beings that Kallias has contracted are ancestral wolves of the shadows. Not all of them look on the bright side of things. Sure enough, they¡¯ve taken over my husband¡¯s mind. I¡¯m not trying to rid him of his guilt. But surely the fact that he has no mercy is part of their influence.¡± ¡°Do we have a chance against them?¡± ¨C Joshua asked. ¡°After regaining the powers of their ancestors, yes. But with caution. So I¡¯m apanying them. We leave in 1 hour, get ready.¡± ¡ª- The group decided to split into two cars. Even if it had space, Nayssa was definitely with Kyria and Raissa. Jae Hyun smiled to see little Elisa smiling at her parents. This reminded him of his own son. ¡°Do you have children, Mr. Kim?¡± ¨C Joshua asked, curious. Jae Hyun smiled, starting the car. ¡°Yes, I have a son. Kian is his name. But, he is well protected from his father. Not to be used in this war.¡± ¡°How would it be for us if this happened?¡± ¨C Thomas signaled and Joshua tranted. ¡°Terrible, to be sure.¡± ¡°Does Kallias know about this?¡± ¨C Tom asked. ¡°Yes, and I fear that even the son is more important to this new person than he has be.¡± ¨C Jae Hyun responded sadly. ¡ª- Kallias found himself in his territory near Wolf Paws. Jae Hyun¡¯s anger at hiding Sera from him tormented him. Around him were the wolves of the shadows, howling. When the Mother sat beside her son, the creatures moved away.Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. ¡°Are you sure about what you¡¯re doing? If not for me, or Jae Hyun¡ think about your son. The child you didn¡¯t know.¡± ¡°I think!¡± ¨C Kallias looked at her angrily and the wolves growled. He stood up and looked into her eyes. Mother showed no fear, neither of the children or the creatures beside him. ¡°Our world is destroyed. I need to change it. I need to be the force that makes it change.¡± ¡°Even if your family hates you in the process?¡± ¨C she asked. This made him hesitate for a moment. But the Wolf¡¯s voices around him spoke to him. Mother looked at them with a stern and dominant look that made them cry and cry. Too bad she couldn¡¯t always do it for them to get away from Kallias. He was supposed to drive those beings away. ¡°Son. Do you remember when this started? That¡¯s how you wanted things to happen?¡± ¨C she asked solemnly. Kallias remembered Mother crying for her children. Her being forgotten and the wolves losing their powers. He remembered the chosen ones corrupting the sacred Tree of their ancestors. Anger consumed him and more intimate memories came to his mind. Where he tried to help them, but the wolves did not want to leave that life. They did not wish to leave ignorance behind and ascend into who they really were. They preferred to be trapped in theirfortable world. ¡°I will not let our world lose to those who do not want to see it. That is the only way, with fear and strength.¡± ¡°No! The way is with love and teaching.¡± ¨C she stood up, imposing herself. The water began to turn into a hurricane and the cave shook. ¡°I¡¯m not afraid of you, Mother. You¡¯ll have to arrest me or kill me to stop me.¡± Mother looked at him with a pious look and was gone. She knew what the son was expecting, when he finally realized his mistake. Chapter 34 – Happiness and Happiness It was the first time Karim really felt happy. They and Sera looked like a married couple One helped the other in housework and daily chores. At the time, they were exploring Jae Hyun¡¯s books, looking for something about the curse. It was great to hear Sera¡¯s beautiful voice just like her. Not that Karim would care if her omega had no voice. But if it was good for Sera, he wouldn¡¯t mind. ¡°C-curse of hatred, a c-curse between two families that can be an addition to u-a greater curse. The resolution can be r-resolved by marriage and between the two parties.¡± She read, stammering a few times. ¡°Very well.¡± He stood up and hugged her from behind, kissing her lips. ¡± I¡¯m proud of you. Madam Ramesses.¡± He saidughing. Sera alsoughed. ¡°Are you asking me to marry you? Isn¡¯t it too early?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t care. I just want to marry you one day.¡± Sera smiled and kissed him, she climbed on hisp and they fell to the ground. Laughing, the two returned to kiss and touch each other. Karim took off her shirt and Sera could better observe his body. She bit her lip, of desire. ¡°Like what you see, my innocent omega?¡± ¡°I¡¯m not as innocent as you think, you superb alpha.¡± ¨C Sera smiled, opening the buttons of the red shirt. She finally had the courage to take off the scarf, showing the scars on her corbone and when the shirt fell, simr marks were all over her body. Sera hid her face, ashamed. These marks still caused her difort and insecurity. Karim approached, and made mention of touching them. ¡°Can I?¡± said soothing. ¡± I promise I won¡¯t be like him. You¡¯ll never have a mark like that on your body again. I¡¯ll never attack you like he did. I¡¯d rather die than hurt you.¡± Sera smiled, she felt his love for her. And she trusted him. Even though that man had hurt her so much. She wanted to do that to him. She said in a nod. And Karim touched her lightly. Sera shuddered at her touch, one part fearful and the other with light pleasure. Karim, touched every scar. Starting with the one she hated so much. He kissed the scar on her corbone. ¡°You don¡¯t have to hide it, Sera. It¡¯s part of you and shows how you survived.¡± Sera smiled, tears streaming down her face. She hated that scar, made her feel weak, but, as Karim had said, it was the mark of her survival and now she was proud of her. Sera strolled her hand behind his back as he kissed her. He lowered his lips down her back and squeezed her thigh. She squeezed his back and scratched him slightly, letting out a sigh. He kissed his breasts and she bit his neck. It was the alpha who should do it, but Karim smiled. He moaned when she bit him, and she did the same when he squeezed her breast. They kissed each other until they ran out of air and their eyes shone yellow. Both could feel their wolves connected with each other, in perfect harmony and love. Karim pulled her closer to her, and prated her slowly. The fear came, the fear that she would feel disgusted as with that man. But Lincoln had never touched it there. ¡°He¡¯s not him. That monster would never be so kind. You have Karim now, your real alpha.¡± ¨C her wolf whispered in her mind. Sera kissed him at that moment, tightening his hair. Your wolf was right, your alpha was here with her now. Sera closed her legs around his torso and groaned. He also did so when she scratched two back deeply. Karim kissed her neck by thrusting it deeper into her. They both froze louder and moved faster. ¡°Can I?¡± he asked panting. She nodded, panting. And soon, the mating bite came. Sera felt his fangs on her neck. She squeezed him even harder and let out a slight groan of pain that mingled with pleasure. Her wolf gasped. They had mated, now they were alpha and omega. They were one. When they finished, both fell to the ground, panting. ¡°I love you.¡± he said kissing her. ¡°So did I. I never imagined a cocksucker would be my true alpha.¡± Sheughed. ¡°All right, I can¡¯t argue with that.¡± They bothughed and Sera snuggled up to his chest to sleep. ¡ª¡ª¨C Hours passed and a shrill noise woke them. Karim¡¯s cell phone rangpulsively, he searched desperately between clothes until finally find him and answer, tired. ¡°Hello. Professor Andersen. Yes, she¡¯s with me.¡± He put it on speaker and Sera can also hear. ¡°Mr. Kim told me that there is a Mother¡¯s temple where you are. And send me pictures, it¡¯s an opportunity I can¡¯t miss. We can also use it for Sera training.¡±Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. She hung up without saying goodbye and the younger ones rushed to obey. Getting dressed quickly, they ran to the ce. The Mother¡¯s temple there was muchrger than that of Wolf Paws. There was a huge statue of her and two wolves in front of her. However, it was necessary to climb adder to get to it. Next to the statue, there were two cauldrons to be lit and a torch next to it that did not go out. Karim took pictures for the teacher and sent them. Sera lit the cauldrons and looked at her next challenge. There was a big well in front of the Goddess that led to ake. Sera sighed deeply and Karim called Miss Andromeda. ¡°Great.¡± She said by speaker. ¡± I¡¯m ready. Go ahead, Sera. Karim, let me know if anything strange happens.¡± Sera came in, thiske was colder than the other and more opaque. But she could see better beneath it. Mother appeared with her usual grin and piercing look. ¡°I hope you¡¯re ready, Sera. Now you have the power of Ada and that¡¯s a big responsibility. Let¡¯s see how far you¡¯vee.¡± And at the time, Sera felt a huge pressure on her chest. She tried to scream, but there was no effect. She was trapped in those waters. Agreement 35 ¨C Agreement ¡°I¡¯ll show you something important, Sera. Take a deep breath. These feelings are not yours but the ancestors of the great ns. Unfortunately, you¡¯re the one who has the strongest connection with me and the only person I can show it to right now.¡± Sera heard the voice of the Goddess in pain. She tried to breathe, which was not an easy thing underwater. However, it made her mind calm. Sera remembered the first time she heard her ancestors, their pain was intense, but she could not be carried away by what they felt. The pain had subsided, now she wouldn¡¯t let it affect her. The Goddess smiled and nodded. She pointed to a bright and beautiful lighting from something big. Sera approached and could see a huge tree. It had ck roots and almost dead. Voices came out of them. Voices of pain and anger. The central root caught her attention. Sera wished to approach and touched that part of the tree. She felt a shock and branches caught her. Sera tried to let go, but a memory came to her mind. A brown wolf, howling sadly. Sera tried tofort her. But she couldn¡¯t reach her. Soon, her mother¡¯s face, Ada, also appeared. She roamed the forest as her wolf howled. Leaving her behind, abandoning her. Sera could feel the pain of Ada¡¯s wolf and it made her cry. It was like a broken heart, something that could not be rebuilt. Ada left and the wolf was left alone, crying. Sera looked at Mother and she indicated to continue. ¡°It¡¯s your time now, Sera. Heal your ancestors.¡± Sera asked the ancestral tree for forgiveness and promised to heal its roots again. A light came out of her hands. Sera felt the energy restoring itself and the root began toe back to life. She smiled, feeling life being restored. But something stopped her. A strange force pushed her away. Sera was thrown back and the tree began to die again. Kallias appeared and touched her forehead. Mother screamed and pushed she away, but Sera had already woken up and left theke. She coughed and gasped as she left. Karim ran to her. ¡°He took me away from the tree. Kallias.¡± The voice of the Goddess echoed and everyone could hear it. ¡°You are safe here. But, my son will not stop. He seeks a way to change your mind, Sera. He wants to prevent you from healing your lineage so that you follow his wishes. Kallias desires your sacrifice, Sera. She thinks her blood on the ancestral tree will renew our past. But it¡¯s not how he imagines it. This will cause the imbnce and give power to the ancestral wolves who want him to fall.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know if we can do anything.¡± ¨C Sera admitted. ¡°It¡¯s a race against time. Each has a part to fulfill.¡± The Goddess sighed. ¡°Yours is to wait for your friends. The only thing they can do at the moment. And as for Kallias. We have someone to turn to.¡± ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª Jae Hyun thanked the Aurelius for allowing him to use a room. He closed his eyes and realized that the situation was not really good. His Ravens sent images to his mind and Kallias had begun to attack small viges. He was disgusted to see those shadows attacking and sucking people up. How could his husband not see that? Jae Hyun couldn¡¯t understand. He had to do something for Kallias to be saved from himself. There was no other way. Besides which he avoided for so long. The cell phone rang, was Karim informing about what had happened to Sera. ¡°I¡¯ll set up a meeting.¡± ¡ª¡ª? N?velDrama.Org - All rights reserved. When all the young people sat at the table and looked at him with concern, he showed Karim and Sera in the video call. The talk began, everyone began to ask about the couple and were surprised when Sera¡¯s voice came out. At that moment, Jae Hyun¡¯s mind traveled. He saw Kallias ahead of him again. ¡°I want a deal.¡± ¨C Jae Hyun asked. ¡°In exchange for what? You know I will not leave my wishes and my mission aside.¡± ¡°Not even for me?¡± Jae Hyun looked at him and Kallias felt that feeling again, as if they were not fighting each other but united as before. ¡°Come talk to me directly.¡± Kallias gave a mischievous smile that Jae Hyun already knew. ¡°It¡¯s a deal.¡± Omega smiled. When he came back, the young people were still talking. ¡°Are you all right, Mr Kim? You look tired.¡± Kyria asked. Jae Hyun said it. ¡°I¡¯m fine. Let¡¯s get started. This will be ourst meeting. So I need you to pay close attention.¡± The youth looked at him with expressions of concern. What was happening? ¡°Sera and Karim, after Nayssa and Joshua received the powers of their ancestors, you can leave the current location. I will leave my Crows to take care of all of you. They are already programmed to help and not attack. Regardless of what you do.¡± He joined hands, nervous. ¡°Karim and Sera should also bring my most important books. I know you have already started reading them. You must break the curse of your family with a marriage. You will know the right time and ce. However, they will be stronger to break the main curse, without the ns Ramesses and Cohen, disturbing your soul.¡± Now he looked at Nayssa and Joshua. ¡°Remember ¨C did you say things would get worse once you regained the power of your ancestors? It started well before, Kallias attacked Sera and stopped her. Sure, that will happen to you too. Mother will guide you, don¡¯t worry. Just be ready to fight. ¡± Jae Hyun reached out at that moment. 3 Crows came out of it and one of them left, leaving only two. ¡°Nyx, Shadow and Twilight will protect you. So, I¡¯ll be gone. You¡¯ll have to trust them. ¡± ¡°And where are you going, Mr Kim? ¡± sera asked still stuttering a little. ¡°I have a duty to perform with my husband.¡± Jae Hyun waved and stood up. ¡°You know who to trust and how to act. I will be acting to stop Kallias, but you have to do your part. It was an honor to help you. I¡¯ll see you again.¡± Jae Hyun waved and his body turned into Crows. He had left them. Chapter 36 – Forgiveness. Joshua smiled to see Elisa having fun with her mother, Thomas also smiled and the alpha wondered how they could be a happy family if it weren¡¯t for his mistake. He left them having fun and went to the room to research. Joshua gave a slight smile, it was as he expected. Hearing someonee in, he hid the paper beneath the others. ¡°Need help?¡± Thomas signaled. ¡°There are some here, I think we can understand more about where my ancestor is. Even if I already have an idea of where he should be.¡± Thomas agreed and began reading the papers. He indicated to Joshua the story of Arsenius Aurelius, a military man who went mad after contact with Mother. The man achieved the greatest achievements and helped people, but in the end, his power dominated him and he went crazy. Committing suicide in the process. Thomas read it, sadly. Poor man. Joshua watched as his omega was charitable and kind, caring for others. He smiled as he took Thomas¡¯ hand. ¡°Can we talk about this?¡± The omega confirmed, strange behavior of the alpha. They sat on the sofa in the office and Thomas looked at Joshua, anxious. ¡°You know, when we got married, it was the happiest day of my life. I had fallen in love with you. However, when you didn¡¯t speak, a prejudice got into me. My grandfather always said that a soldier should be healthy, without any defect. I was always trained to be perfect. So when I realized what you were like, it was like you weren¡¯t perfect for me. But, you¡¯re Thomas. You¡¯re perfect. I¡¯m not good for you.¡± Joshua signaled. Thomas watched him, frightened. Not knowing how to react or feel about it. ¡°I just want to apologize for everything and thank you for letting me get close to our daughter. I don¡¯t deserve this.¡± Thomas signaled: ¡°Don¡¯t say those things. You¡¯ve changed, you¡¯re being a good father to Elisa. I still have some issues with the past. But, you¡¯re getting better. Don¡¯t me yourself like that. ¡± Joshua smiled and shook his hand. ¡°Thank you. ¡± ¨C Said giving a kiss on his face and left. Thomas stood there for a few moments, thinking about all that. ¡ª¡ª The lunch was fun. Elisa had fun with her grandparents and Joshua and Thomas prepared to find Arsenius¡¯ grave. Before leaving, Thomas hugged Nayssa and Kyria, saying goodbye to them. ¡°Are you sure you¡¯ll be all right, alone?¡± he signaled. Nayssa confirmed. ¡°Yes. Don¡¯t be afraid. We have to act as quickly as possible. We can¡¯t stay here wasting time. Shadow will go with us.¡± she signaled. The crow appeared on her shoulder, and he stung: ¡°Yes, Shadow protect it.¡± Thomas and Joshua waved and watched the girls leave. And now it was their turn. Thomas kissed Elisa before leaving. The little girl shook her hands and babbled. Joshua did the same and attacked her hair. ¡°Shall we?¡± Joshua invited the omega and Thomas agreed. The path to the sanctuary was steep. Joshua held Thomas¡¯ hand all the way. Until they reached the site. The sanctuary wasrge, with the image of the Goddess in front and, inside, several tombs of the ancestors of the Aurelius. They arrived at thergest of them, giving way to a cave. The body of Arsenius was intact, as well as those of the others chosen. Joshua tried to absorb his power. But nothing happened. As he expected. ¡°What happened?¡± Thomas asked. ¡°I have to get into thatke. It¡¯s part of something the alpha must do. A matter of the alpha-omega bond. Which is what matters most beyond power.¡± Thomas held him by the wrist and signaled quickly, worried: ¡°Don¡¯t do it. You don¡¯t know what can happen.¡± ¡°We need this right? What will the world be like for Elisa if I don¡¯t do this?¡± Thomas didn¡¯t know how to argue with that. ¡°If anything dangerous happens, get out. Right? Promise me.¡±Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. Thomas confirmed and replied : ¡°I promise you that.¡± Joshua smiled and removed his shirt, staying only in his underwear. Theke was cold as ice, he saw bright eyes in the background. Every military had to prove his strength. The monster growled and attacked him. Joshua swerved, and the monster growled again. ¡°Are you really an alpha? How did you treat your omega? How could you act as you did? Do you think you deserve hispassion?¡± Every speech, it was an attack. And Joshua couldn¡¯t defend himself. Because he deserved to hear all that. He didn¡¯t turn away or scream once. Nor when, his wounds were already deepened. Until thest attack came with a question: ¡°Are you worthy of him? ¡± ¡°No. And never will be. ¡± Thomas was scared. The only thing he could see was blood and it didn¡¯t leave him alone. He understood the hand, trying to touch theke, but something repelled him. The omega thought several times if he should seek help, he looked at Shadow, but the raven said he could not enter. However, when Thomas was about to leave, Joshua came out of the water. Thomas ran to help him and cried as he saw that there was nothing in the right eye. The blood was so much that there was no way to stop the wound. ¡°Help. Let me ask, help.¡± Thom signaled, crying. ¡°I¡¯ll be fine. I¡¯ll do what I set out to do. Can you help me?¡± Thomas agreed, trembling. He helped the alpha to rise and reach Arsenius¡¯ body. Joshua touched him and asked Mother to receive the power of his ancestor. Thomas sighed in relief as the alpha¡¯s wounds began to heal. But the eye was still bleeding. Despair returned and he signaled: ¡°Let¡¯s hurry! Hold this against your eye.¡± he said, handing Joshua the shirt he had previously removed. They returned to the residence of the Aurelius. Thomas had sent a message warning of what had happened. Amaia and Cassius came running towards their son. Joshua was tired, panting. He fell into Thomas¡¯p. His omega looked at him in despair, as Cassius took his son and took him to his room. A doctor was called and Joshua opened his eyes slightly, caressing Thomas¡¯ face. ¡°Idiot. Why sacrifice like that?¡± the omega criticized him. ¡°It took. What matters is that you and Elisa will be fine.¡± He smiled. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. The doctor came running and Thomas just firmly shook his alpha¡¯s hand and cried. 37 – Reconnection ¡°Hey grandpa, what is the ideal skill of a warrior?¡± the little boy with white hair and gray eyes asked, curious. ¡°Strength and intelligence make up the ideal skill of a warrior, Joshua.¡± ¡°Do you think I¡¯ll ever be like that?¡± he asked, hopeful. ¡°Of course. You have my blood, Josh. There¡¯s no one stronger. Therefore, you must marry someone like you, powerful and without any blemish.¡± ¡°Defect?¡± ¡°Yes, like that girl.¡± Her grandfather pointed to a wheelchair child. ¡°Marrying someone like her will weaken our family.¡± ¡°Father.¡± Cassius screamed, approaching them both. He took his son by the arm and brought him close. ¡°Don¡¯t bring your prejudiced ideas to my son.¡± The old man justughed, but it remained in Joshua¡¯s mind for a long time. ¡ª Joshua woke up aching, he managed to get up, but there was something in his eye. It was a tampon. Now, he had remembered what happened. At that moment, someone squeezed his arm. It was Thomas. He seemed to have just woken up and had a worried expression. ¡°Are you okay? Are you in pain?¡± he signaled. ¡°Hmm. A little.¡± Joshua signaled. ¡°I¡¯ll call the doctor.¡± Thomas replied, but was prevented. ¡°Wait. Are you okay? And Elisa? Have I been here a long time?¡± Thomas looked at him even more frightened and replied: ¡°We are. Don¡¯t worry about us. It¡¯s been a whole day now. You¡¯re burning up in fever.¡± he replied by putting one hand on the alpha¡¯s forehead. ¡± I¡¯ll call the doctor. Don¡¯t go anywhere.¡± Thomas was right. Joshua was a little dizzy and he felt hot. Maybe it was a fever. Joshuay down and closed his eyes. Sleep came again. And he dreamed. The first thing he saw was Thomas¡¯s smile. He waved at him and Joshua waved back. Thomas was always polite when talking through messages and Joshua fell in love with his intelligence. Until the wedding day. That was the happiest day of his life. He could kiss Thomas, touch him and they would be one. The night was as Joshua imagined, but he noticed that Thomas couldn¡¯t produce sound. What did it mean? That he was someone with a ¡°w¡± like your grandfather said? ¡°Thomas, can¡¯t you talk?¡± Thomas denied it and then a strange feeling took hold of him. A feeling of being weak and bringing weakness to your family as your grandfather had said. Joshua was the oldest, but not as strong as his father. Everyone said he would be a strong alpha like his father. And for that, he had discounted his Omega. Your wolf wanted to do something, ask for forgiveness. ¡ª¡ª Thomas called the doctor in a hurry. When they reached the room, Joshua was struggling. The specialist put a cold waterpress on his forehead. The delusion continued: Joshua often died the names of his parents, but predominantly that of Thomas and Elisa. Thomas held his hand tightly, not knowing what was happening. Didn¡¯t Mother heal? Was Joshua rejecting the power of his ancestor? Many ideas crossed his mind. The doctor asked them to wait and let Joshua rest. The medicine he had injected into his vein would soon take effect. Thomas realized that someone had entered the room, it was Aurelius. ¡°Would you like to take a break, dear? Come and rest for a while. Joshua is strong.¡± Thomas watched his alpha once again and left the room. Amaia gave Elisa to Thomas and he kissed his daughter. ¡°Come, dear. Eat a little.¡± Thomas sat down and ate quietly. ¡°How are you, dear?¡± she asked, worried. Thomas replied, signaling: ¡°Well, thank you. I¡¯m more worried about Joshua.¡± ¡°Josh is strong. He will ovee.¡± Thomas began to give Elisa something to eat, pieces of fruit and the girl patted with joy. This made him and Amaia smile. ¡°Can you tell me why Joshua acted that way with me? He told me something but not everything. What was his grandfather like?¡± Amaia¡¯s expression changed, she was sad, suddenly. ¡°Sir Aurelius was not as good as one would expect from amander. He epted no weakness, and considered any deficiency, one of them.¡± She took a sip of water before continuing. ¡°Unfortunately, Joshua spent a lot of time with him. And my husband lived in the army in times of wars and massacres among the ns. And so, there was only the grandfather as a father figure for him.¡± Thomas listened calmly, while Elisa already slept in hisp. ¡°Cassius was very strict in the old days. Today, he learned his own lesson. But before, he did not ept failure. Not like his father, but he wanted his soldiers to make the most of themselves. It never reached a level of prejudice like the old Aurelius but my husband never epted mischief and things like that.¡± Amaia looked at the portrait of the family in the corner of the room and continued : ¡°Joshua always wanted to impress his father and grandfather. It doesn¡¯t justify what he did, but his head was shaped in a way that maybe there was no other way. That¡¯s the exnation I found. I talked to him for a long time after that day. And the guilt became present in a way I didn¡¯t imagine. I¡¯m sure he regretted it and now he just wants to go on with his life.¡± Thomas was thoughtful for a few moments he still didn¡¯t know how to feel about Joshua. But he knew he still cared about him. Elisa stroked her father¡¯s face and Thomas kissed his little hands. Until a huge wolf appeared in the room. Thomas stood up, frightened, holding Elisa in hisp. However, he recognized him after the panic passed. A sense offort came towards him and the wolf¡¯s gray eyes were recognizable. It was Joshua. Thomas let the big wolf get close. The animal sniffed them out and Elisa stroked his fennel. Thomas was afraid at that moment, was Joshua able to discern that it was his daughter?N?velDrama.Org: owner of this content. But to her relief. The wolf licked her hand and the childughed. Thomas gave his daughter to Amaia, who looked frightened. And also turned into a dark-haired wolf with yellow eyes. The wolves sniffed and nested. One recognizing the other as their alpha or omega. Secondster, the white wolf fell and turned into Joshua again. He seemed calm and well. There was no more fever or whispering. Thomas smiled and turned back, allowing him to rest on hisp. Primordial connection The snow fell beautifully that day. The wolf howls could be heard in the snow when he appeared. Jae Hyun had already heard about him. Kallias, the demigod whomanded one of Mother¡¯s troops against the ancestral spirits who wished to take possession of the progenitor¡¯s propia. Those who wanted to go against the wolves and the new creation of the Goddess had fought briefly but never won. They had never defeated her son. And those were the stories that Jae Hyun heard. That Kallias was powerful, invincible and ruthless when needed. But he did not expect the demigod to appear before him that day. Kallias was bleeding in the snow. His red blood stained all white. The battle against the ancient creatures had been fierce and even though he was immortal, he still tired and could be injured. Jae Hyun felt his power, the energy of a demigod who could force anyone to kneel. The omega was hypnotized by long blonde hair and heterochromatic eyes. Kallias looked at Jae Hyun with his lips and wounds around his body, bleeding. He looked tired and about to fall. And that¡¯s what happened. The man fell and Jae Hyun ran to him, taking him inside and hearing only a whisper: my omega. The snow was still falling outside, but it was much warmer inside. Jae Hyun had taken care of his injuries and let him rest. The general was in his house and had called him ¡°my omega.¡± Jae Hyun was thoughtful about it until she noticed that Kallias had woken up. The man moved and produced a sound of pain. He opened the eyes of different colors that seemed to prate the soul of Jae Hyun and unravel any secret. The omega smiled: ¡°Do you feel better?¡± The alpha smiled, Jae Hyun missed those smiles today. ¡°Yes, thanks to you. Thanks for saving me.¡± Jae Hyun just waved and smiled. ¡°Anyone would do the same.¡± ¡°Not just any one.¡± Kallias stood up and approached him. Jae Hyun tried to walk away, but could not. His inner wolf desired him and felt that he was his true alpha. ¡°You feel it too.¡± Kallias whispered. ¡°Yes.¡± Jae Hyun responded, allowing him to finally get close. Their faces approached, their lips were almost together and soon both kissed. It was not an intense kiss as if they knew each other for a long time, it was a pure and chaste kiss. Typical of a first time. Kallkas smiled at his blushing face and said: ¡°I think I can be a nuisance at the moment. Thanks again for helping me, Jae Hyun. I¡¯d ask you for your hand and your marriage, but it¡¯s not the time.¡± ¡ª¡ª Two years passed, the battle continued for so long and Jae Hyun saw Kallias only for some time. Sometimes well, sometimes wounded. Jae Hyun knew how to fight. Everyone in the Pearl Forest knew that. But Mother didn¡¯t force anyone to fight for her. Even so, Jae Hyun knew that the time hade for him to enter the battlefield. It was ending, but there was still something to fight. Jae Hyun approached the fight and saw the blonde hair in the crowd. Kallias was skilled, both with the sword and as a wolf. Jae Hyun could feel the energy of his wolf alpha. Whether he was okay or not. The omega drew the sword and was help him. The creatures were huge, the worst of them were the ancestral wolves of the shadows. Which Kallias would make a contract for in the future. But at that time. They were the enemies. Not that they weren¡¯t now. Jae Hyun hit some of them with the sword and others with his lupine form. A light came around him and frightened them. Kallias¡¯ wolf approached him and caressed him. At that moment, their hearts will unite. And the Goddess knew that it was the union of alphas and omegas that would bring the world into bnce again. Even for wolves. The day after the war, Kallias and Jae Hyun married. It was a happy day, where everyone celebrated and were happy for the couple. They will unite as one and from that moment on, one could not kill the other. Or be killed. Years passed and Jae Hyun thought she would never be happier. Kallias was a good husband, kind and caring. However, he might notice something bothering his alpha. ¡°What is it? Talk to me.¡± Kallias said, holding his hand. ¡°Do you think that ancestral beings love Mother more than wolves?¡± Jae Hyun even walked away from his husband. Surprised by the question. ¡°How? It¡¯s not possible, Kallias. We fight these beings. They couldn¡¯t love Mother more than wolves.¡± Still, Kallias seemed angry. ¡°But the wolves are forgetting them, leaving her aside, Jae. They don¡¯t hear them anymore.¡± He said angrily. Jae Hyun looked at him, sadly. ¡°I know, dear, it breaks my heart. But I don¡¯t think your thinking is right. Neither one nor the other. Just a few. Some still love and hear it. Whoever does not will be penalized by fate itself.¡± And as Jae Hyun had said, it happened. The wolves were punished, losing part of their powers and gradually forgetting Mother. But it was not a good thing for the couple. Mother tried to reach her children, unsessfully. And it corroded Jae Hyun and Kallias from within. They tried to get to the wolves, but without result. Their pride, and thirst for power, made them forget who had given them such skills and life. It infuriated Kallias and Jae Hyun had no way to stop him from feeling that way. A century passed and the wolves were but a shadow of what they had been. Weak, proud, and innocent, unaware of the true power they might actually have. It was also at this time that he and Kallias made the contract with the ancestral beings. Jae Hyun always liked the Crows and had an affection for these creatures. Kallias chose the ancestral wolves of the shadows, which worried his omega. However, the alpha reassured him at the time, saying that there was no stronger than him. Jae Hyun just smiled, but, he should have listened to his instincts. Two yearster, when Jae Hyun became pregnant with her baby. Kallias was different. The creatures had already managed to dominate his mind, using his anger and negative feelings. Jae Hyun fled, afraid of how her son might be involved in this. Kallias didn¡¯t look for him, or he didn¡¯t just find him. 300 years have passed and Jae Hyun has always told his father¡¯s good things to his son. However, he knew that Kallias was nning something big. It would take years, but it would have an impact. Jae Hyun managed to hide Kian. And make him sleep for a purpose only Mother knew. Now there was no waking up him. Only a person guided by fate could do that at the time. And it was none of his parents.Content ? N?velDrama.Org. Even so, he thought Kallias would ask about his son before making Jae Hyun fall asleep that day. He did not. Jae Hyun wondered if his husband would do it today. It snowed, like the first day they met. Kallias weed him to the same ce they lived in the past. An old house in a forest full of cherry trees. ¡°I havee as promised.¡± ¡°And I¡¯m here, as promised.¡± Kallias replied. Jae Hyun sighed and approached, caressing his face. ¡°I want to enter the petal of the flower. Do you remember how?¡± Kallias looked at him surprised. The ancestral wolves around him began to growl around him, disapproving of Jae Hyun¡¯s idea. ¡°Shut up.¡± Kallias growled, his eyes turned yellow. ¡± Don¡¯t act like that with my omega, you mutts. Have you forgotten who¡¯s in charge here?¡± The wolves cried and retreated as they felt his power. ¡°You¡¯re doing this to protect those kids. It¡¯s no use, Jae.¡± Jae Hyun smiled at me. ¡°If you won¡¯t. Why not test it? You¡¯re afraid to change your mind, dear? To give up what you want?¡± Ament wishing to annoy you has been made. Kalliasughed. A lightugh, of whom he feared nothing. ¡°You know me, my love. I¡¯m not afraid of anything. And I never regret it.¡± ¡°Your evil is your arrogance.¡± The omega smiled. ¡°And yours is to think you can heal everyone.¡± he said kissing his omega¡¯s hand. ¡°Then there is nothing to fear.¡± ¡°I won¡¯t go soft on those brats.¡± Kallias promised. ¡°I know, honey, I¡¯m not expecting that. I came here to try a deal. Do you take it?¡± Jae Hyun smiled, confident. Kallias gave the mischievous smile he loved. ¡°I ept.¡± They kissed, sealing the deal and Jae Hyun only hoped he had bought enough time. Chapter 39 – Your Omega or Not? Kyria had never been alone with Nayssa for so long. Their cheeks blushed at the thought of the warm kisses they had shared several times. However, Nayssa had a reputation. She was not called the lonely maiden for nothing. Obieye didn¡¯t have an omega yet, but she used to have fun with them too. Which caused a strange feeling in Kyria. Would she do that to Kyria too? The doubt hung in her mind. Nayssa had told her that she liked her and that she felt their connection of alpha and omega, but nothing more than that. ¡°What¡¯s up? It¡¯s quiet. And we know you like to talk.¡± Nayssa teased her. Kyria smiled and replied: ¡°I was just thinking.¡± ¡°A kiss for your thoughts.¡± Nayssa said and Kyriaughed. ¡°You said you felt our connection. Are you sure of it?¡± Kyria said in a serious way, for the first time in a long time. Nayssa seemed disconcerted by the question. None of her lovers had made her before, they knew her very well. However, Kyria was different. The alpha was sure they were meant. Just, didn¡¯t know how to handle it. ¡°Of course I do. Just, I don¡¯t know how to act on it.¡± she replied sincerely. ¡°I¡¯ve never been in a rtionship like that. And I don¡¯t know how to give you something like that.¡± Kyria looked at her calmly and replied: ¡°Let¡¯s find out together.¡± And with a smile, the matter was closed. ¡ª The city where Nayssa and Thomas came from, was a beautiful city, full of flowers and with a quiet and pure air. However, Kyria noted that several people, mostly young people, looked at Nayssa with a bewildering smile. They probably knew her in a more intimate way. This angered the omega. Nayssa waved and smiled at everyone as Kyria frowned. ¡ª The house of the Abiyoe wasrge and full of inventions. They entered and were received by Elora who smiled upon seeing them. ¡°Wee, dear. It¡¯s nice to see that Nayssa has finally brought someone special for me to meet.¡± The older woman said. Kyria smiled and blushed with praise. But, Nayssa seemed ufortable. ¡°Right. We have some research to do. Come on, Kyria.¡± she said pulling the redhead by the hand. Nyassa took her to an old library and started taking some books off the shelves, without saying anything else. Kyria began to read some of them, but that situation was bothering her and she could not stand the whole attitude of the alpha. ¡°What¡¯s going on? It seems I¡¯ve be a burden to you by the time we get here.¡± Kyria screamed, annoyed, her eyes turning yellow. ¡°It¡¯s not you, Kyria.¡± Nayssa sighed, watching her surprised by her reaction. ¡°It¡¯s me.¡± ¡°My mother always pressured me, especially after Thomas got married. However, I hadn¡¯t found the right person.¡± She approached Kyria from behind and whispered in her ear: ¡°I¡¯ll show that I love you.¡± Nayssa whispered in her ear. Nayssa kissed her and Kyria reciprocated. As much as she was confused, she couldn¡¯t resist the charm of her alpha. Yssa separated her mouths and smiled gantly. She knelt and kissed Kyria¡¯s groin. ¡°Yssa.¡± Kyria groaned. ¡°We¡¯re in the library.¡± she said sighing as the other bit her thigh. ¡°Don¡¯t mind that. I closed the door very well.¡± Nayssa saidughing. Without waiting, she kissed Kyria¡¯s thighs, lifting her skirt. The omega almost screamed when her intimacy was touched with the tongue of the alpha. Kyria grabbed Nayssa¡¯s ck hair and moaned, trying to restrain herself so that no one would hear. It was not possible, she thought. It wasing to a climax. But, a loud groan came out of her mouth and Nayssa licked her lips with her liquid. ¡°Don¡¯t do it.¡± Kyria said flushed.¡± Disgusting. ¡± An expression of a mixture of shame and disgust took to her face. Nayssaughed and just kissed her. ¡°You have a lot to learn, my little bird. ¡± The alpha then took her in herp and carried her to the library couch. Now the clothes of both were removed. Nayssa kissed her shoulder, reaching up to her breast and nibbling her nipple as she groped the other with her hand. Kyria gasped, with a sly groan. ¡°Don¡¯t I have to do anything?¡± she asked with her face flushed and her hair already wet. ¡°Not today, kitten. Today is just for you to enjoy. I told you I would prove my love, no?¡± ¡°Y-Yes.¡± Kyria gasped once again when she felt Nayssa¡¯s fingers inside her. ¡°Yssa. Yssa. Faster. Please.¡± Kyria asked, scouring her back and uniting their bodies. ¡°As my omega wishes.¡± Kyria rolled as she felt the alpha¡¯s fingers deeper and deeper.? N?velDrama.Org - All rights reserved. ¡°Kiss me. If I am your omega. Kiss me.¡± Kyria asked and Nayssa did. Nayssa smiled and kissed her fervently, just after passing her lips around her neck as she pushed her fingers inside her. ¡°Mark me, Nayssa. Mark me, like your omega.¡± she begged with her blushing face and small tears. Nayssa did not, however. She could not. Something within her did not ept such apromise. Therefore, she merely kissed Kyria again until she came. By the time they finished, they were both panting. But for sure, Kyria was more flushed. ¡°What did you do?¡± she asked gasping and slightly annoyed, referring to the mark. ¡°I showed how much I love you.¡± ¡°No¡ That¡¡± Kyria stammered. ¡± I meant the mark. Why didn¡¯t you mark me if I¡¯m your omega?¡± Nayra¡¯s expression changed from something seductive to angry. ¡°I can¡¯t.¡± she said looking away. ¡°Why? I¡¯m so unimportant?¡± ¡°Of course not.¡± Nayssa screamed, squeezing her fingers. ¡°Then why?¡± Kyria stood up and covered herself with her clothes. ¡°Why can¡¯t I have that kind ofmitment.¡± Nayssa responded impossibly, standing up and putting on her clothes. ¡°Are you really going to do that? Tell me you love me and just go out?¡± Kyria cried with tears on her face. Nayssa answered nothing. Her hands trembled and anger took over her chest. She did not understand. The others always epted. Why would Kyria be different? Angry, she finished dressing and left, leaving Kyria alone, with tears in her eyes, sobbing, and feeling the silliest of all. Chapter 40 – Forgotten About Nayssa stormed out. She shouldn¡¯t take it out on Kyria, but it was better to leave the room than say things that would hurt her. ¡°Nayssa. Come sit down.¡± Madam Elora said to her daughter in a tone that could not be ignored. With a sigh and a not happy expression, Nayssa sat down. The mood of the dining room was great, now she was prepared for afternoon coffee, with the table full of delicious delicacies that Nayssa really did not care. ¡°Did you score? Scored your omega?¡± Elora watched her as she drank her tea and soon the answer she already imagined came up with a dry response. ¡°Why is it important, Mother?¡± ¡°So it didn¡¯t happen.¡± Elora said, frowning. Nayssa growled, already tired of that conversation. ¡°You have to finally take responsibility. Nayssa Abiyoe.¡± Elora said, looking into her eyes. ¡± You can¡¯t be enjoying life forever. Even Thom has more responsibility than you.¡± ¡°Is that what you called me for?¡± Nayssa screamed, annoyed. ¡± Topare me to Thomas?¡± ¡°No. It was not for that. I called you to warn you that you will lose your omega due to your arrogance. Imagine how that poor girl must be feeling after her alpha doesn¡¯t score there? That¡¯s a great humiliation, Nayssa. Notice how selfish you¡¯re being.¡± Her mother raised her voice. ¡°I know all this. But, I can¡¯t!¡± Yssa replied angrily. ¡°Can¡¯t you why?¡± Elora asked, forcing her to answer. ¡°Because I can¡¯t. I¡¯m not going to take the ce you want. Nor be the leader. I don¡¯t want that leader life. If I cling to an omega, I¡¯ll be clinging to that role. ¡°The daughter screamed. ¡°It¡¯s time for you to wake up, Nayssa. Pranks don¡¯tst forever. You¡¯re already 21. I¡¯m getting old for this job and we need you. Your father trusted you, Nayssa. Don¡¯t dishonor his memory.¡± ¡°Am I dishonoring him just because I don¡¯t do what you say, Mother? ¡± Nayssa asked angrily, rising from the table. ¡°No, Nayssa. No, for not obeying me. And yes, for dishonoring your own omega out of pure selfishness. That would make you upset.¡± And after hearing this, Nayssa left without answering her mother. She returned to the library, but did not see Kyria. ¡°Hey, Jenny.¡± She called to see one of the maids. ¡± Did you see Kyria? The girl who came with me?¡± Jenny confirmed with her head. ¡°Yes, miss. She asked me where the family books were. I told her they were in the library in the secret part of town. Yeah, we were afraid of causing an ident because of our n¡¯s inventions.¡± ¡°What? It was changed. I didn¡¯t know that.¡± Nayssa eximed. ¡°Well, Miss. Forgive me, but¡ you¡¯ve never been very interested in n events. This happened two years ago.¡± Nayssa growled, angry, and put her hand on her head. ¡°All right. Kyria went there? I¡¯m going then. Thank you for informing me.¡± ¡ª¨C Kyria went to the library where the maid had indicated. They were out of time and she needed to do something. Mostly to distract him from what had happened and the anger and shame she was feeling. She was far from the city, close to a forest and she thanked for it. I would not like to receive prying eyes. ¡°Don¡¯t be so angry. Sometimes she didn¡¯t mean it.¡± Shadow, the crow, told her. ¡°She humiliated me. She used me and dumped me.¡± Kyria said, hurt. ¡± What alpha does that? Isn¡¯t that tin?¡± ¡°Yes, you¡¯re right. Every alpha brags about scoring an omega. Not even Kallias does that. He marked my master right after the wedding, when they knew they were already one.¡± ¡°So, Nayssa isn¡¯t sure what we are. Great.¡± she muttered. ¡°We¡¯re here.¡± said Shadow excited. The library was huge, muchrger than that of the Abiyoe house, she smiled as she entered and greeted the librarian. She was ady with a kind and polite smile. ¡°Hello youngdy. What brings our littledy¡¯s omega here?¡± Kyria was surprised by the question and, of course, blushed like a bell pepper. After all, it seemed that in a small town like that, the news ran fast. Even if Nayssa had not said anything. ¡°Nayssa and I are researching her ancestors. Would you have anything? Jenny gave me the key to the secret files.¡± Kyria said it gently. ¡°Of course. Come with me.¡±Property ? of N?velDrama.Org. Kyria coughed from the dust when she opened the room leading to the Abiyoe session. There seemed to be more books than in the entire library. The young woman worked hard, smiled at the librarian and started working. Shadow helped her, searching for books and taking some to her. Kyria smiled, not understanding how there could be so much strength in her little ws. Kyria analyzed several books and this made her happy, because she should be concerned with things more important than Nayssa at the moment. She and Shadow searched for a few long minutes until they found Iana¡¯s diary. The name had been crossed out and reced by Imaan. He had been the youngest and most visionary inventor in the family. An alpha who had been through a lot and even discovered himself as Imaan and not Ianan. Imaan was at the age of 16 when he began to hear Mother¡¯s call and he epted, building thergest statue and temple in his honor in his n. But there was something he didn¡¯t care about that was essential for Goddess. Love. For Imaan, his inventions and the pursuit of knowledge were the most important of all. Even when his true omega appeared, he rejected it. Leaving her alone and isted, traded for her inventions. She died alone, in depression, after all she tried to fulfill her role as omega, Isabel could not force him. He did not realize that she was ill. Even when she died, Elizabeth was something of his interest or knowledge. Kyria took a deep breath, drying up the tears. Her hands trembled as she read and she pushed the diary away so as not to wet it. She and Isabel were alike in some way and it affected her more than she should have. The young woman decided to turn the page and read something that Imaan had written. ¡°Elizabeth was the sun, radiant with her bright, pure smile. Her eyes were like the bluest, clearest sky on a sunny day. She was the sun, and I¡¯m not even worthy of being the moon. I¡¯m just a gray cloud that covered all of her splendor. I still remember the day of our wedding, Isabel looked beautiful as a sunflower in her white and flowery dresses and now she has withered. It withered without my seeing it wither. Without my noticing that she was sick. I remember our wedding day. But, I don¡¯t remember the day of his death. I left my inventions room and she just wasn¡¯t there anymore. I heard of her death from her sister, Isadora. She pped me in the face that I dared not fight back. ¡°The doctor said she died of tuberculosis.¡± Isadora said softly, but in a tone that could make the man stronger, lower his head. ¡± But honestly, I think she died of sadness. For getting married and her husband never paying attention to her. Like she¡¯s something broken and unimportant.¡± That day I cried, cried until I could not stand it anymore, I looked like a child who had lost a toy. But Elizabeth was not a toy, even though I had treated her as one. At that moment, I made a decision. The burial had already passed and by my carelessness, I arrived after everything happened. So I knew I made the wrong choice. Mother had told me that the bond between an omega and alpha was a wolf¡¯s greatest power, that such a connection could heal one another. But I had not heard it and now the consequences had been devastating. And so, at this moment, I¡¯m pointing the gun at my head. I no longer deserve to live after such disregard for my own n. You will not read anything on these pages anymore. After all, I will no longer be here to write them.¡± Kyria closed the diary in tears, she could think of nothing but that suffering. She left a mark for Nayssa to see that content. However, something unexpected happened. The library exploded. Kyria heard howls and ws tearing her around. She turned into a redheaded wolf, but was weak against that magical smoke. Shadow tried to protect her, but she was thrown into the back of the library. A huge wolf-shaped shadow stared at her, throwing her lupine form against the wall, making her be human again. And the only thing she could do was close her eyes.
