 1 Bell Cranel

    I was a highschooler in Earth, I was having a nice day on Earth when suddenly an explosion took place in the mall I was in, it was a terrorist bombing I guess in my last breath I saw that I was the only person seriously injured, the others were injured too but nothing life-threatening. I was just watching DanMachi on my phone which I guess is broken into pieces.


    This was the last thing I remembered, when I woke up I was in a strange room, It had a wooden ceiling and through the window, I could see a small hill. I don''t remember such a place in my town. The door opens and an old guy with a dense white beard and a muscular body greeted me. My head was suddenly flooded with memories I had no time to think about them as my head was paining a lot. I held my head and brought it close to my knees, the old man who saw this asked, "Are you okay Bell?"


    I was slowly recovering from my pain when I paid attention to what the old man said, I slowly processed my memories and I couldn''t recover from my shock "I''m okay grandpa I was just not feeling well that''s all"


    With my memories, I got to know that this was the world of DanMachi and I was currently in the body of Bell Cranel. The person in front of me was none other than one of those gods'' Zeus. Though he acted as he was Bell''s grandfather and never told him about that, hence in order to not arouse suspicions I acted as if I didn''t know about that and played along with it.


    "I bought you some soup to make you feel better, here drink some" saying so he took a spoonful and lightly blew on it to cool it and brought it near my mouth. I opened my mouth and had some. He took care of me until I felt better and he read me a story to sleep.


    When I woke up the next day I was feeling way better compared to how I was yesterday. I saw that my body was that of a young kid around 7 to 8 years of age which means I have a lot of time before I go to Orario.

    When Bell went down to the living room, he saw that his grandpa was sitting on a chair and reading a book. When he saw Bell he put his book away and got up.


    "You finally woke up, breakfast is prepared let''s eat."


    Nodding his head he went to the table and had breakfast, it was bread with milk. A simple and plain breakfast for a normal farmer family. After having his breakfast Zeus went out to the field as he was a simple farmer right now.


    After he left Bell went out to the forest nearby, he was told not to go there by Zeus but in order to get stronger, this was the best way to do so.


    When he went near the outskirts of the forest he started with some simple training like push ups, pull ups, running and such. His first mission was to increase his stats to double the amount so he had to do that first.


    He got to know from the system that system points can be used later for a lot of stuff like stats and skill. It can be used for equipment and items later but he needs to do a quest to unlock the function so he can''t get equipment yet.


    He continued to practice until evening after which he went back to his house, he had to go back before Zeus came back in order to avoid suspicion.

    Though it gets tougher to increase it later on, it is easier to do so in the beginning. This time he decided to go a little deeper into the forest, when he did so he saw a few animals here and there but still couldn''t see any monsters.


    By the time he went home it was nearly sunset, when he reached there he saw Zeus standing near the door. When Zeus saw him he felt relieved as he was worried that he would be attacked by a monster near the forest.


    "Where were you Bell? You made this old man worried you know" saying so he lifted Bell onto his shoulders.


    "Grandpa I want to be a hero like those stories you tell me, that''s why I went near the forest to train" when Zeus heard that he was shocked and at the same time he felt happy. He told bell, "It''s nice that you want to be a Hero but you should come back home by sunset or Grandpa will be worried you know"


    Nodding his head he went and had dinner with him, during the night he felt that he should stick to the basics for a month or so and only then, try to fight animals or monsters.

    Nearly two months passed,


    Deep in the forest, a small boy with white hair could be seen fighting a boar after he finished his training for a month all his stats crossed the 20th mark. He got the Shop function along with 100 SP, as a bonus for completing the Quest early he got an extra 100 SP.

    Due to the increase in strength, he decided to fight with a few wild animals in order to train. For nearly a month he fought with a few wild boars and continued his training.


    After fighting with the boar he took out a small knife which he got from Zeus and killed the boar. Though he fought with the wild boars he didn''t kill all of them as a few hunter families relied on them for food and excessive killing wouldn''t benefit anyone as he wouldn''t receive any experience or magic stones from them.


    After killing the boar he dismantled it and took the meat and went back home. Zeus was yet to come back so he went to the kitchen and started to cook. He developed the interest to cook as he also used to cook in his past life and wanted to try out a few recipes which he remembered. With the boar''s meat, he made a steak dish along with some barbeque and curry.


    When Zeus came back he wasn''t surprised to see that Bell was cooking as he developed an interest in it recently, and he also liked the dishes he made so he would sometimes come late purposefully to taste his dishes.


    After dinner, Bell opened the Shop function in the System

    He didn''t buy anything as of yet as it would make Zeus suspicious as to how he got the weapon or armour and the System told him that as he got to higher levels, the store would also put newer items in it.


    Today he decided that he would finish the other two Quests and get the rewards, he overheard few of the villagers saying that monsters started to appear in the inner parts of the forest. He decided to check it out today and left his house thinking that.

    When he reached in the inner parts of the forest, he was able to find stronger animals like wolves, bears ,etc. When he was walking slowly, he was able to find a small group of goblins. The group only had three goblins in it.


    He slowly took out his knife while hiding behind a tree and continued to observe them. They were walking aimlessly and when they encountered a wolf in the forest they started to fight it. They didn''t have much intelligence and were just slashing at it with the stone weapons they had with them.


    Though the wolf was stronger than them but under the continuous assault of attacks it was getting injured. It also attacked by slashing at them a few times injuring them but due to their numbers they were gaining the advantage.


    After the fight was over with the goblins winning, they started to feed on the wolf''s corpse. It was a bit grotesque but Bell managed to avoid puking by covering his mouth with his hand.


    When they were feasting on the corpse he started to charge at them with his full speed. Before they could react he slashed his knife killing two of the goblins.

    After that he took the small purple gems which fell down after he killed the goblins. They were the magic stones which could be sold in Orario''s guild for money hence he kept them in a small pouch he had and started to check for other monsters.


    After searching for a while he found a single kobold, it was different from the normal kobold, this was a rare type kobold which were extremely hard to find. He kept observing from a distance as he knew that he would lose in a head-on fight, so he was waiting for the proper chance to attack like how he did with the goblins.

    It was nearly evening now and the kobold showed no openings at all, Bell trained a lot in his stealth as this way he could easily sneak up on monsters as their senses were not as great as the monsters in the dungeon.


    Right now the kobold was slightly drowsy and was going to sleep, seeing this Bell felt relieved since he could attack it in its sleep and didn''t have to go back home.


    Soon the kobold went near a cave which was presumably its home, he slowly followed behind and waited near the entrance of the cave for a while. When it was nearly sunset he decided to go in, upon entering he saw that there was dim lighting in the cave.


    He noticed the kobold which was peacefully sleeping inside and was oblivious to its surroundings, he slowly went near its neck and took out his knife slashing at it.


    The kobold not knowing how died and dissipated into ash leaving behind a magic stone and a kobold nail, this was a drop item which are extremely rare to get. He took the stone putting it in his pouch along with the other magic stones and took the nail and put it in the same pouch.

    He noticed that he got a bonus reward this time too, he thought it might have been due to the fact that it was a rare kobold.


    By the time he got back it was already sunset so he soon went to the kitchen and started cooking with the leftover meat from yesterday. He made rice with some curry, Zeus put him to bead after reading a story. Before he went to bed he checked his status once,

    He got many skills and developed skills as rewards from the system, he didn''t spend the system points yet as he knew they would be very useful later on when he joins a Familia.


    He went to the forest as usual, after killing the kobold he searched in the areas nearby and found places where monsters occasionally come out. For the next few years with fighting a good number of monsters, he was able to get a better fighting sense and experience.


    Though the only thing lacking here was that there was no one with whom he could have a proper spar with. Fighting monsters is very different from fighting humans, but he knew that he could easily overcome that when he went to Orario.


    With the magic stones he accumulated over the years though he could not be called wealthy, he could probably start a store and try to earn a living with that. Though he would decide later on what to do with the money he gets.


    He was fighting with a group of kobolds, goblins, and a few other weak monsters in the forest right now. After finishing them off he went back home as he had lost interest in fighting them and stronger monsters don''t appear anywhere near the village so it was a complete waste of time-fighting with them.


    When he went back home he opened the Quest menu to see what the new Quests were,

    "Hey grandpa you know, you never told me about my parents. Though I''m happy you raised me I would like to know who they were" he said so with the most serious face he could ever make.

    Zeus just stayed quiet and didn''t respond, Bell didn''t push him as he was afraid that he would fail his quest.


    "Haa¡­. Fine, I''ll tell you and you are strong enough to handle yourself. I''m not your real grandfather, I am the god Zeus. Your parents were members of my familia and they were one of the strong ones who participated in the expedition against the Black Dragon. They died during the expedition, after which I was expelled from Orario and took you and came here"


    Listening to Zeus, Bell pretended to have a shocked expression on his face.

    Staying quiet for a while he didn''t say anything when Zeus saw that he just closed his eyes and didn''t say much.

    "I understand you did this all for my sake right, don''t worry I won''t blame you for anything. It was their own choice to go on that expedition, they would definitely be happy that you took care of me in their stead"


    Listening to Bell, Zeus had tears on his face and hugged him

    Neither of them said anything to each other and just stayed that way for a while.

    The next day when Bell got ready and came down to prepare breakfast he saw Zeus sitting on his chair reading his book like usual, except this time there was a bag and a spare of clothes near the table.


    When he turned facing Zeus he just gave a smile and said, "Bell I know that you''ve reached your limit in this small village"


    Listening to Zeus he didn''t say anything and just kept quiet,


    "To grow stronger the best place for you to go to is Orario, I have spoken to one of the merchants of the village. He said that he has no problem taking you along with him"


    After which Bell asked, "Grandpa is it fine. I mean wouldn''t you feel lonely without me here?"


    Nodding his head he looked at Bell and said, "You don''t have to worry about me, you can come to visit me once in a year I have a friend Hermes there, he will help you keep in contact with me don''t worry about that"


    Listening to him Bell could only stay quiet, he had been together with him for nearly five years and to leave so suddenly he felt very sad. He just looked at him and left after packing his stuff. He didn''t say anything as this was definitely not going to be their last meeting.

 5 Joining A Familia

    Near a large wall with a gate in front of it, a boy of nearly 16-years-old was standing there, though his actual age was 14 he look more mature than that, he had white hair and a perfect body which was covered by a jacket. He had a handsome face which would definitely get any woman for a date.


    This boy was none other than Bell, the trip from his village to this place took nearly a month and a half. This was a little early by one month when the actual Bell reached Orario.


    Though he could have reached here faster he chose not to do so as it would mess up the timeline and would disrupt his plans, he thought that this was exactly enough time for him to lay out the groundwork for himself.


    When he entered the city after the normal check-in, he pretended to be a normal person who visited this place for the first time, he did this as he noticed a few people who were following him.


    He didn''t lose them as he knew that they were mostly from the Hermes Familia or the guild who keep tabs on people going in or out checking for spies among them.


    After a day of following they found out that there was nothing wrong with him and just left like that. Noticing that Bell had a slight smile on his face.

    The next few days he just went around the town and finding out various places in the city. He also went inside the Dungeon and saw that the walls were black and monsters were roaming around every corner here.


    He fought with a few of them and took their magic stones. He then went to the guild counter and exchanged the magic stones for money. He also exchanged the magic stones which he had from the village.


    He got a total of 12.000 valis, considering that the magic stones were from monsters of only the first two floors it was a hefty amount. He went and saw that Loki Familia was preparing for an expedition in the later weeks, he realized that this was when they let the Minotaur''s loose in the upper floors.


    He then went to Babel to check out the shops there, he saw a lot of shops of weapons, magic items, potions and so on. After that, he went to the food street and also saw Hestia selling jagamarukun there. After that he went back to the Guild, this routine was done for nearly two weeks along with the addition of visiting the library.


    After that, he concluded a few things,


    1. Magic is not so well developed here and mainly used by people with the Skill or elves.


    2. Food also doesn''t have many varieties.


    3. Common magic items rely on magic stones found from the dungeon.


    4. Magic weapons have a limit and are not so advanced.


    5. Entertainments like music, dance and such have not properly developed here.


    With these, he found various possible paths for him to take in the future to earn money. He could find a way to let ordinary people use magic which can be used in their daily lives, open a restaurant with recipes from his world, alternative sources of energies for magical items or magic weapons which can be used without a limit and rely on the casters magic.


    He also thought of inventing storage rings and such but decided to keep that for a later time.


    He finally decided to join the Hestia Familia but since he just can''t just go and ask her he first went around asking other Familia''s

    "We are one of the top guilds in Orario, why should someone as weak as you be allowed to join us?? Kid listen to me and go back or you may get hurt"

    "Sorry we are a blacksmith Familia looking at you I''m sure you can''t even lift a hammer properly just go back, kid"


    Though he knew that this was going to happen he still felt angry and thought that he would one day stand atop all these familia''s especially those of Freya''s Familia who said that he was a pervert. They would definitely regret saying that later when he takes Freya as one of his women.


    Thinking so he went to the abandoned church which he was familiar with and just slept inside waiting for Hestia seeing that she was not there.


    After a while he felt that someone was pulling his shirt, when he opened his eyes he saw Hestia, she was looking as she was in the anime with twin tails and huge boobs and a white one-piece which looks like it was worn a lot. She was blushing for some reason, but he mostly thought that it was due to him as he was really handsome compared to the Bell from the anime.


    "Are you alright? What are doing here?"


    "Nothing actually, I was really tired and saw that an abandoned church was here and since no Familia was willing to take me in I had no choice but to sleep here for the night"


    "You''re searching for a Familia??"


    "Yes but no one was willing to accept me since they said I looked really weak"


    "Must be hard for you huh? Say what if and I mean... just what if some god or goddess lets you join their Familia but they were poor and you would probably be the only member?"


    "I would still join them and I wouldn''t care how poor or how many members they had as long as they let me join I would put all my work into making that Familia into the No. 1 in Orario"


    Listening to him saying that Hestia felt warm in her heart and also a red face after coughing twice she said, "Then would you be willing to join my Familia. Though we are poor and don''t have anyone else, we will have each other."


    "Please take care of me them goddess um¡­ what was your name again??"

    When Hestia saw his ''fake'' status she was shocked as he was already nearing the peak of the, I rank. She put a paper on the back which copied his status and gave it to him. Though he was expecting it he still glanced over it to check just in case his Status Edit worked.


    After the initiation was done, she asked how he got his cook skill was as she never saw something like that, he then explained it that it was probably due to the fact that he used to cook for his grandfather at home a lot.


    Now they were just talking about themselves and Bell told her that he was from a far away village where he was living with his grandfather and he left home wanting to be like his grandfather who was also in a Familia.


    She also told him that she was a goddess who just descended into Orario unlike most of the other gods and goddesses who came earlier than her due to which she was finding it hard creating a Familia as she doesn''t have any unique skills.

    When he saw that it wasn''t so expensive he decided to buy it, after he paid the SP a small box appeared in front of him. When he opened it he saw a small pill in it which gave off a sweet fragrance.


    After putting his stuff in the closet he went to tell Hestia about the pill, he saw that she was sitting on the sofa waiting for him to come. When she saw him she gave a wide smile to him.


    He went and sat on the sofa next to her,


    "Goddess I-"


    "You can call me Hestia its fine"


    "¡­.Um, Hestia, I have a medicine for people who are short which helps them grow taller¡­.. do you want it?"


    Knowing that this was a sensitive topic for her he didn''t know how to tell her but seeing that she was still smiling he was a bit relieved and took out the box and showed it to her.


    When she heard him say he had a pill but she didn''t put much hope on that as she had already tried various methods to grow taller but couldn''t do so and hence she didn''t have any hope on doing so. But she still took the pill so as to not hurt Bell''s feelings.


    Seeing her take the pill he felt relieved and told her that they should go to sleep after which she went to bed.

 7 Eina Tulle

    The next morning Bell woke up as usual and saw that Hestia was still sleeping in the room, she was giggling in her sleep as he didn''t know what she was dreaming he couldn''t say anything.


    After going out for his usual practice he ran around the block a few times and came back. He then did some push ups and pull ups in the church. After he came back he saw that Hestia was sobbing, worried about her he went to console her,


    "Hey what happened? Why are you crying?"


    When she heard his voice she stopped sobbing and turned her head to see that Bell was right there,


    "Beeeeeelllllllll, where did you go? I was worried that you left me and went away"


    Saying so she hugged him, felling two soft things pushing against him he slowly consoled her by saying that he won''t go anywhere and just went out to do some training. When she heard that she stopped sobbing and went to wash her face.


    After she was done she told him that they were going to the guild to report about his joining her Familia. He then saw that his shirt was a little sweaty so he just took it off and put on another shirt, when he noticed that Hestia was there too he felt a bit shy.


    Hestia''s face was deep red, she didn''t have much interaction with the opposite gender hence even seeing a guy topless would cause her to blush a lot.


    "Hestia, shall we go then"


    "Y-Y-Y-Y-Yes L-L-Lets go"


    Seeing her like this he could only give a sigh and lead the way. After they went to the guild they reported the forming of their Familia and got Bell registered as an adventurer. After that, since he was considered as a rookie as of yet he was assigned an adviser.


    Hestia was not there after the registration as she had her part-time work to do and left Bell all alone, not that he cared though.


    "This is your advisor, Eina Tulle"


    "Hello, it''s nice to meet you, Mr. Bell, my name is Eina Tulle and I will be your guild advisor from now on"


    "Hello Mrs. Eina please just call me Bell as I''m not used to people calling me Mr and all"


    "Then please call me Eina as well, Bell"


    "Alright then, Eina"


    When Eina first saw Bell, the first thoughts in her mind were how hot he was, the Bell right now was totally different from the one in the anime in terms of looks.


    After the introductions, Eina told him more about the dungeon and which monsters are on what floors, this was useful information hence he noted it down. After that, she warned him to stay in the first few floors until he gets used to the dungeon and only proceed further when he becomes stronger.


    He didn''t pay much attention to her warning as he knew that his status would probably rival a Level 3 adventurer. But he would still act as a level 1 adventurer for a while. After listening to Eina he went into the dungeon and started to hunt at the first floor, after clearing most of the monsters here he then went into the second floor and did the same, he went until the fifth floor and then started to make his way back onto the first floor.


    He got a lot of magic stones while moving through the floors. After he went back to the guild he saw Eina and waved at her who then waved back at him. On seeing Eina some of the other guild employees tried to look at she was waving to, on seeing Bell it was like an arrow was shot at their hearts.


    Most of the guild employees displayed a lot of emotions on seeing him jealousy, hatred, envy, some even tried to seduce him but he escaped from them and went towards Eina.


    When she saw her fellow guild members flocking around Bell she felt a little annoyed in her heart but she tried her best to not show it on her face.


    "You''re popular aren''t you Bell"


    "Please stop joking Eina, I''ve gotten a pretty good haul this time I''m going to cash it out please wait for me"


    After he went to the counter and took out a medium-sized duffel and gave it at the counter, after some time the person behind the counter said,


    "A total of 10.000 valis"


    Saying so the same pouch was given back except this time it was filled with gold coins instead of magic stones. He took the bag and kept it back in his bag and went towards Eina.


    She was standing near the counter and was waiting for Bell to finish his exchange, when she saw him coming back she was a little happy. He then came towards her and said


    "Though it was only the first few floors I''ve gotten a pretty good haul, thank you Eina it would have been tough to get how much I got without your advice"


    "I was just doing my job you don''t have to thank me for that"


    "Well still thank you anyways" saying so he left the guild.

 8 Meeting

    After he left the guild Eina''s gaze was still at the entrance through which he left only after a while did she go back to her work. As for Bell he was happy with his income and went straight back home, the event where h was supposed to meet Aiz was only a few days away and he had to make sure that he was present in the dungeon during that time.


    As he was going back a certain white-haired woman''s gaze fell on him, Bell who noticed that didn''t have any change in his expression and just continued to go back to the church, thinking for a while he then remembered that this was none other Freya who was known as the goddess of beauty and also one of his targets.


    Seeing her he finally understood why she was referred to as the goddess of beauty but due to the skill Liaris Freese, he was able to avoid her charm which was one of its hidden functions.


    Freya, on the other hand, was extremely captivated by him, in the anime though she showed some interest in Bell it was nothing more than that of playing with a toy, but right now when she saw him she was also captivated by his looks.


    She rarely ever felt like this towards a person hence she wanted to find out who this person was, calling to one of her attendants she told him to find out who he was after receiving her orders the attendant slowly went into the crowd until her figure couldn''t be seen anymore.


    Bell who despite not being present in this place was able to deduce that she sent someone to follow him, this was because he felt someone watching him and was following him. Despite that he didn''t mind this at all, after going back to the church it was nearly evening and Hestia just returned from her work.


    Seeing her he could see that the Pill was taking its effect. He then asked the system how long it would take for the pill to completely show its effect for which it replied that it would take nearly 3 days.


    He then thought that the party at Ganesha''s Familia was in 4-5 days, just thinking about the fight between Hestia and Loki made him want to go there.

    Two days later,


    Today was going to be the day he was going to meet Aiz, in these past two days he only went to the dungeon and back to the church. Though he would get better income if he went downstairs he didn''t do so. He also found out that he could get system points by fighting monsters, this made him very happy as only doing Quests was pretty boring.


    He was on the fifth floor and this was the place where he would meet her, he was just waiting when,


    ''ROOAARRRRR''


    A minotaur suddenly appeared he decided to fight it and show Aiz that he was not a weakling when a woman with blonde hair who was behind the minotaur slashed at it spraying its blood on Bell''s face, though he was a bit annoyed with what happened he went towards Aiz and said,


    "Thank you, but I could have taken care of it myself"


    Aiz not expecting this reply was a little sad and made a cute face before she could say anything he just left and went towards the entrance. Bete who saw him started laughing which he didn''t care about and just left.


    When he came back to the guild Eina was a bit shocked on seeing him, after he explained about the Minotaur outbreak she became even more worried, he then asked about Aiz who saved him and asked her if she knew about her, though she was a bit annoyed by that she didn''t show it on her face and told him about her.


    After he left he went directly to the church to clean up, he then asked Hestia to upgrade his status, after he told her about Aiz she was also a bit annoyed like Eina but she didn''t try to hide it, after upgrading his status she found out that he got a new skill but when she read out the description she was even more annoyed.

    He took out the Heavy Sword which he bought from the store and showed it to Hestia saying that this was the weapon he bought with his savings, he mostly did this because he knew that she would request Hephaestus for a weapon and since he liked Heavy Swords he didn''t want the Hestia knife from the anime.


    After talking for a while he then went to bed, before sleeping he then bought a few potions and magic potions from the store and kept it in his dungeon bag.

    Waking up early in the morning he found Hestia sleeping on him, though he knew that she came in the middle of the night and slept next to him he pretended to be sleeping and let her do so.


    During the night he felt two soft lumps pressing against him, he enjoyed the night and after he woke up he went to do his usual morning practice and left the church.

 9 Meeting Syr

    When he was out for his morning run he was passing by ''The Benevolent Mistress'' he remembered that Syr and Ryu work here and decided to pass by here when he was going to the dungeon.


    After he finished his training he went back to the church and saw Hestia still sleeping except that she would sometimes mutter his name and start giggling.


    After he got ready with some cheap armor, he then kept his heavy sword on his back. After he was done getting ready he woke up Hestia and left towards the Dungeon.


    While he was going,


    "Um ¡­. Excuse me"


    When he saw towards the direction where someone was calling him he saw Syr calling towards him,


    "Do you need something?"


    "Did you perhaps drop this?"


    Saying so she gave him a small magic stone. Seeing that he remembered that he had ''accidentally'' dropped this on his way back.


    "Ohh¡­ I may have dropped this when I was running back. Thank You"


    ''Grrrrrr''


    Suddenly his stomach started growling, though the main reason was that he didn''t eat anything since yesterday in order to get lunch from her.


    "Here you go"


    Saying so she gave him a small lunch box while having a small bright smile on her face.


    "I can''t take that its probably your lunch right?"


    "Its fine in return you can come by here for dinner"


    He then thought for a while and accepted it saying he would come by later for dinner. Though he knew she would rip him off, later on, he didn''t worry about that as he had enough cash to at least have some decent dinner.


    He then went to the dungeon and started to hunt monsters, he went to the fifth floor as usual but then used the new function of the system, Map and got an exact detail of the Dungeon, the map told him the proper monster locations and the locations of the monsters which were going to spawn nearby.


    The only way to describe what had happened next was a MASSACRE. Monsters which were yet to even open their eyes had been killed without knowing how they had died. Nearly the entire floor was wiped out without leaving a single monster behind.


    On his way back to the first floor he even used the map to find the Jack Bird monster and killed it taking the sure-drop item Golden Egg and went back.


    After he went back to the guild they were shocked to find that he had hunted so many monsters to fill two entire sacks. Even Eina who was his advisor was shocked, though she was his advisor doesn''t mean that she knew everything about him.


    After totaling it up he found out that he had earned nearly 100.000 valis


    This was a lot of money for a rookie adventurer, when he then took out the Golden Egg there was only chaos in the guild. Even a few of the high leveled adventurers were surprised as they knew how hard it was to find a Jack Bird.


    They told him that they would give the final price for the Golden Egg later on and gave him 1.000.000 valis as they advanced down payment.


    After he chatted with Eina for a bit regarding the dungeon he went back to the church, he then took off his equipment and saw that Hestia had just come back from her work and was sitting on the sofa eating jagamarukun.


    "Hestia can you update my status??"


    "Sure thing, just lie down on the bed"


    After he was on the bed she took a needle and poked it on the tip of her finger and put the drop of blood on his back which updated his status, though there was no need to do so as he had the system he couldn''t tell Hestia about it hence he had to do this.

    When Hestia saw his status she was shocked, though she thought that this was due to his new skill Liaris Freese but she still couldn''t believe the growth rate. This was basically a CHEAT.


    Though she felt that it was probably due to that Aiz Wallen-what-stine she felt extremely jealous and started hitting his back, though he didn''t feel much he still acted as if he got hurt.


    Hestia then took cloak and went out without telling him anything, though he felt that the cloak was a bit short for her height which had considerably increased compared to before.


    He then went to ''The Benevolent Mistress'' restaurant due to his promise with Syr along with the box which he got from her in the morning. When he reached the restaurant he then saw Syr and the others serving the guests and the restaurant was very busy compared to the morning.


    When Syr saw him she felt very happy and he also noticed that she had a blush on her face giving her a cute appearance, she then let him into the counter where she introduced him to Mia and went to the back-kitchen to cook personally for him.


    Since he had nothing to do he just chatted with Mia about cooking and when she heard that he was also a cook she told him that their restaurant would hire him anytime if he was able to cook well.


    After they spoke for a while, he noticed Syr coming towards him with a huge plate of pasta. He then put on a wry smile as didn''t know what he was supposed to do with that much food and asked,


    "Hey Syr, don''t you think that this is a bit too much food?"


    She then held her skirt and looked at him with puppy eyes and said, "But I made it with all MY LOVE, you''ll definitely eat it right?"


    When he heard those words he blushed a little and gulped his saliva, she looked too cute doing that he didn''t say anything, ore and took a spoon and started gulping it down, by the time he was done he felt that it was seriously too much.


    When Syr saw that he actually finished the whole thing she felt extremely happy in her heart, and also blushed a little. She then noticed that he was truly handsome, she then asked "Um¡­. Bell are you alright?"


    "Don''t worry if it''s your handmade food then I will definitely eat it"


    Just when he said that a group of people entered the restaurant the people who were in there were surprised at the ones who came and started muttering among themselves. They were the Loki Familia ¨C Aiz, Riveria, Tiona, Tione, and the rest of them were the guys who came with them who he didn''t give a shit about.


    He then decided to go back before he heard Bete say anything more which pisses him off, he then paid the money to Syr and left as if in a hurry. Aiz noticed him leaving but she only caught a glimpse of him.


    Right now he decided to go and see Hestia and ask her to go shopping since most of her clothes would have grown her out by now. He then went back to the church and saw Hestia sitting near a rock.


    "Hey Hestia, where were you? I was searching for you all this while"


    "Bell¡­. Hmph I don''t care just go be with that Aiz Wallen-what-stine"


    "I see and here I was thinking of bringing you on a date, well if you don''t want it-"


    "Let''s go!!!!"


    Without letting him finish his sentence she came next to him and held onto his hand tightly. He could see the effects of the pill which he gave her, right now she could easily compare to the height of a woman in her mid-twenties that with her huge rack she looked HOT.


    He took her to a clothing store and bought a few clothes for her size, he didn''t do so in the past few days as the pills effect was still active. But now that it finished showing its effects he could buy clothes for her without worrying her outgrowing them.


    Then he also bought her some dresses for the party tomorrow, which were very expensive but he didn''t care as he got sufficient cash from today''s hunting.


    Hestia was too busy enjoying her date to notice the bill hence she didn''t care about it. They then went to a jewelry shop, though Hestia didn''t hope for him to buy anything from there, she still followed him.


    When she tried a few earrings and necklaces but she still checked the price for each but when she saw that the minimum price was at least 100.000 valis she just gave up.


    After wearing them once and showing off to Bell she just kept them back. Though she regretted not being able to buy them she didn''t show it on her face and just continued to enjoy her date. After that they left the store without buying anything.


    The shopkeeper was a bit annoyed but she didn''t show it on her face. After that, Bell told Hestia to wait near a food stall giving her some money and telling her to buy anything she liked he left saying he had to go to the bathroom.


    After he left her he went back to the jewelry store and bought a few of the jewelry which he thought that Hestia liked. After he bought it he kept it in a bag and went back to the food stalls where he left Hestia.


    When she saw Bell coming back she was extremely happy, after they had some food they went back to the church. Hestia was very happy today due to the date. When they were at the entrance of the church he gave her the jewelry and said that this was a gift to her.


    When she saw the gift that he gave she almost fainted and told Bell that it was too expensive but he didn''t give a damm about that and just went inside without caring for what she was telling him and went straight to bed.

 11 Party

    The next day he went to the dungeon as usual and went to the 10th floor this time he met many monsters and also saw a few other adventurers. After killing a few monsters he felt that it was probably evening and went back to the entrance.


    He then went to the Guild and exchanged all his magic stones for cash. He was then informed that he would be given the final amount for the Golden Egg tomorrow as the Ganesha Familia was going to auction the item today at an event which they were going to host.


    He left the guild and then went back to the church and saw Hestia getting ready for a party, he then asked her to update his status before leaving. After she did so she was a bit annoyed at the rate at which he was growing, as she knew that he had feelings for Aiz.


    "Hey Bell, what type of women do you prefer??"


    When he heard that he was a little surprised but figured out that it must have been due to yesterdays date.


    "Since I was little my grandfather always said that a true man must have a harem and he also that you should never differentiate between them weather small or bi-"


    "IT''S FINE!!! J-J-Just pretend I didn''t ask you anything"


    "¡­.Okay?"


    "Listen, I''ll be gone out for a few days due to work. Don''t worry about me and take care of yourself"


    "Alright, but where are you going??"


    "Ganesha Familia organized a party for gods and I was invited after that I have some stuff to take care off. I was just going there so don''t worry about me alright"

    Saying so she just ran out of the church and went off towards Ganesha Familia.


    After that, he went out to ''The Benevolent Mistress'' today morning he passed by here as usual and saw Syr who gave him another lunch box saying that this was for lunch. He happily accepted and asked Mama Mia to let him borrow the kitchen tomorrow morning and he would make breakfast for all of them.


    She thought for a while and accepted but on the condition that he cleaned the dishes the next day. Since he was not so busy he accepted and went off to the dungeon.


    Right now Syr and the others were working as usual and when Syr saw Bell she was extremely happy and served him personally. After he was done with dinner he went back to buy some ingredients for tomorrows breakfast and met the god Miach on the way, he was also one of the poor gods with only a few members in his Familia hence he and Hestia got along.


    He also gave two vials of potion to Bell before leaving.

    There were a lot of gods present in the party, Hestia was just gobbling down on all the food she was able to get and stored some of the food to take home later. When suddenly all the gods started to mutter among themselves, when she saw what was going on she saw Freya coming into the party and was also walking towards her.

This bad mood lasted for quite a while due to which the Loki Familia members weren''t able to see her for an entire week. Finn and Riveria had to come and personally console Loki.

    Hestia spotted Hephaestus and called out to her,

    Hearing that there was a light in Freya''s eyes which no one noticed, she left after that saying she had some work to do.

    Hephaestus was shocked as she had never heard of anyone who had gotten to G rank in blacksmithing before receiving Flana. But even of those who did were in their 20''s and had completely devoted their lives to blacksmithing.


    "Hephaestus how many times are you going to do that?"


    "It''s not my fault that this kid of yours is such a monster"


    "Well that''s why I said that maybe only you would be able to make a weapon which would fit him"


    "Well listening to all that I can''t say anything else, but after he joined your Familia did he craft anything to increase his Blacksmithing skill??"


    "Well he only crafted the two swords but he said he might have to get rid of them later on as he could only use them for the lower floors"


    "Well leave it at that and tell him if he wants to forge anything he can come meet me. I''ll provide him a forge at a price, I can''t let a talent like his go to waste even though he''s not from my Familia"

    After he saw the Quests he was surprised as the first Quest would be completed in a few more days and as for the other two Quests it was much simpler than the first and followed the same format as the previous Quests.


    He then saw the reward for the last Quest and was surprised when he asked,


    "Hey, system what the hell is this reward for the last Quest??"

    "Well this is a pain in the ass, but I''ll try to avoid using this flame in front of others though and I also have to go and make breakfast for Syr and the others today¡­. Sigh"


    Saying so he took the ingredients he bought yesterday and went to the restaurant. He kept his dungeon Equipment in the Systems storage as he was planning on going there to test out his new skills and magic and to practice his other magic too.


    When he was thinking about different ways to get in contact with the other familia''s for his future plans he reached the restaurant.


    "Hey Syr, how are you today?"


    "Bell!! I''m fine but why are you here?"


    "Nothing much can you go and tell Mama Mia that I came here for the thing we discussed yesterday"

    "So kid, I hope you''re able to cook as good as you say you are"

    Saying so she led him to the kitchen. The other staff members were still sleeping apart from Syr and Ryuu. The dishes he was going to make today were burger, fries, and coke.


    The above menu was a simple meal at Mc Donalds, which was simple to prepare except for the coke but with his cooking skill he thought that should not be a problem and tried to make it.


    He also planned to increase the proficiency of his cooking skill this way.


    He was able to finish the first two dishes easily and went on to make the coke, for this he used a bit of magic as he knew that it would be impossible to get any sort of machinery to make coke.


    With the help of his Elemental Magic ¨C Wind, he was able to make it easier.


    After he was done he then served it to them, he made enough for all the staff members who were awake by now due to the nice fragrance coming from the kitchen. When Ryuu and Syr saw that he was cooking they were surprised as they didn''t expect him to also be able to cook.


    As for the other members who woke up later were even more shocked at the handsome guy cooking in their kitchen. Along with the nice fragrance they were all standing near the door waiting for the dish he was going to make.


    After he was done cooking he went and served it to them and took a plate for himself. He made some ice cubes and put it in the coke.


    When they saw the dishes served they were drooling with their mouths open. One of the staff members Anya asked, "Can we eat it??"


    "I made it as a thank you for Syr who makes lunch for me every day so please don''t hesitate and eat."


    "Fufufu¡­. Syr it looks like you''ve found quite a lover"


    "A-A-Anya don''t say it out so loudly. He might hate me if you say stuff like that"


    Though they were in the next room he could still hear them but he didn''t let them know about it.


    When they started to eat they only had one word in their mind DELICIOUS. After they drank some coke they mistook it for alcohol but he managed to convince them that it was a special drink which he had invented and was non-alcoholic. After they drank some of it they were surprised that it was actually somewhat sweet.


    Finishing their breakfast Bell went to do the dishes as he had promised. There was still some leftover Burgers and fries which he took some and gave the rest to Syr saying she could give it to any of her friends. He also told them that the drink would be spoilt easily if left outside and they had to either drink it fast or store it someplace cold and left after saying that.


    After that, he went to the dungeon to practice his Magic. He directly went to the seventh floor and started to use his magic in a secluded area. He also told the system to notify him if anyone comes near 500 meters of him.


    After that he tried out all types of spells, he tried out each element''s basic, intermediate and advanced magic.

    In some part of the dungeon different types of magic''s could be seen fired at the monsters which were being spawned. Fire, water lightning, ice, wind, and earth along with a few other types could be seen. After he was done, the area surrounding him was completely destroyed and was slowly being regenerated by the dungeon.


    After he was done practicing with them he finally decided to use Space-Time magic.

 14 Magic Practice

    He activated it and found out that it was harder than he thought and needed more control for him to be able to use it. After practicing for nearly three hours he was able to use it somewhat.


    He was now able to warp space somewhat to do short distance teleportations. Though it cannot be used in transportations he can use it in his fights to gain an advantage against his enemies as for his time magic he can only use it to freeze an objects time by a few milliseconds or slow down a person''s perception of time.


    He could also create a small space pocket and tamper with the time in that, for now, he could only use the lowest level of the magic.


    After he was done practicing his magic he collected the magic stones and decided to leave the dungeon as it was nearly evening and he had to go back.


    After he reached the guild he exchanged the magic stones for money and spoke to Eina for a bit regarding his progress. He mentioned that he had gone down till the sixth floor which worried Eina since he had just started to hunt in the dungeon.


    When he decided to leave one of the guild staff members came to him informing that the auction was successful and the Golden Egg was sold for 10.000.000 valis. Apart from the previous million valis which the guild had given him as an advance payment he still had to pay 10% of the amount for the auction. This left him with a total of 8.000.000 valis which what pretty close to his estimation.


    He took the money and left the guild returning to the church but then he remembered that Hestia won''t come back for a few days hence he didn''t have to go back so early so he roamed around a while before going back.

    Nearly two days had passed since Hestia had left, these two days Bell had been practicing magic in the dungeon due to which he was able to skilfully master Elemental Magic. As for his Space-Time Magic, it had a very slow rate of progress, this type of magic was almost non-existent hence he could not ask anyone for guidance either.


    He also bought a few clothes from the store which could be used to hide his identity. He bought a black cloak and a black mask which covered his entire face. The mask also had a feature of changing the user''s voice whereas the black cloak had self-repair ability.

    He understood most of the skills in them except the Nightmare so when he used the systems scan function to check it out,


    Nightmare: Creates an intimidation aura to those who are weaker than you reducing their capabilities by 50%, and for those of the same level would have 20% of their abilities reduced while those of higher levels would have their abilities reduced by half of the previous reduction.


    He wasn''t surprised by this as he had spent 100.000 SP for each of them. The miscellaneous item such as clothing and such are priced relatively cheaper than the Weapons section of the store.


    This was the main reason he was able to buy it for such a cheap price if compared to the weapon section these items would cost nearly a few million system points.

    Today was the day Monsterphilia took place as he was going to the arena, he had passed by ''The Benevolent Mistress'' where he heard Anya calling him, she was one of the waitresses in the bar and had brown hair with cat ears.


    "Hey there-nyan"


    "Hi, how''s today''s business?"


    "You''re an idiot-nyan we still haven''t opened the restaurant-nyan"


    "I see, well did you want something then??"


    "You see-nyan that idiot Syr had forgotten her wallet-nyan can you give it to her-nyan"


    "I still don''t understand, where is Syr right now though?"


    Then from the back, Ryuu came out and rebuked Anya,


    "Anya Mr. Bell wouldn''t understand if you say it like that. Mr. Bell Syr has taken a leave from her shift and went to Monsterphilia but forgot her wallet can you go and give it to her?"


    "Sure I was going there myself and you don''t need to use honorific''s every time and can call me Bell like the others do"


    "I-I see, then B-Bell can you go and give the wallet to Syr?"


    "Sure no problem Ryuu"


    After he said her name she blushed and ran back into the restaurant,

    "I don''t know what you mean" saying that he left toward the arena and find Syr.

    He realized that the Main quest was the one which included getting a weapon forged from Hephaestus and the subquest was probably triggered due to Anya asking him to give Syr''s wallet back.


    Thinking so he went to Monsterphilia.


    When he had arrived near the arena he saw a lot of stalls set up selling various item, he thought maybe he should set up his own stall next year and sell his food from Earth.


    He then opened his map and tried to search for Syr, his Map had an additional function to mark allies. Currently, he saw Syr and Hestia''s markers nearby.


    He first went towards Syr and tried to meet up with her first.


    He arrived near a stall which was selling cream puffs and saw Syr anxiously looking everywhere. He realized that she was anxious as she had no money right now and lost her wallet.


    He went up behind her and whispered near her ear, "Did you lose anything, Miss?"


    "Hyaaa!!!"


    "Hahaha, don''t worry it''s just me"


    "Haa¡­. Please don''t scare me like that Bell"


    "Sorry but you looked so cute when you screamed like that and I couldn''t resist doing that"

    "Oh I forgot Anya told me to give this to you"


    "My Wallet!! Thank you Bell I was extremely worried that I had lost it and had to go back"

    After which she went to the stall and bought two cream puffs. After which they walked around the stalls enjoying the festival. He used this chance to flirt with her a bit due to which she was blushing till her neck.


    While they were walking around he saw Hestia coming in their direction, though he had no problem with that.

    Calling him loudly she ran and hugged him, He noticed that she was carrying a huge sack on her back, he understood that this was the weapon Hephaestus made for him. But he still didn''t know why it was so big as it was the Hestia Knife which she had made in the actual story and was the size of a kitchen Knife.


    But the sack on Hestia''s back was almost 1.8 ¨C 2 meters tall.


    "Hestia what are you doing here did you finish your work??"


    "Yes, I di-"


    "H-Hey Bell who is this??" Syr had the expression of her wife whose husband was cheating on her


    "Oh sorry for not introducing you two, Hestia this is Syr a waitress from the restaurant I frequently go to and Syr this is Goddess Hestia whose Familia I am in"


    Listening to that Syr was relieved and let out a sigh, but Hestia who noticed Syr had a dark expression.


    "Hello Syr I''m Goddess Hestia I''m BELL''s GODDESS"


    "H-Hello Goddess Hestia it''s nice to meet you I''m Syr"


    Seeing that he could only let out a sigh and pretend to have not seen that and said, "Do you want to come along with us to the festival Hestia??"


    "Sure!!!"


    "Fine then. So where should we go? Hestia is there any place you want to go to right now?"

    "We also haven''t gone to all the food stall'' s so how about we visit them once?"

 16 Silverback

    "Syr, Hestia I think we should also get away from here" looking as if he was panicking a bit he said to the both of them.


    "I agree with Bell, it would be a problem if we stay here" Syr nodded her head.


    "Let''s go to Daedalus Street the pathways there are complex and we can easily escape from there as the streets are complex and it would be much easy to lose the monsters"


    "Alright, let''s go then" after Hestia said so she pulled Bell who was holding Syr by the hand.


    After going to Daedalus street Bell noticed that they were being followed by a monster. He knew that it was the same ape monster form the anime. He marked the monster with his map and was leading it to a more populated area so that more people can witness the fight.


    After escaping for a while he took out a knife which he had prepared beforehand for this situation. He left them in a safe place and tried to attack the Ape monster once but when blade hit the monsters skin it shattered.


    He clicked his tongue and ran away from there but when the monster saw him it started to chase him. Hestia and Syr who saw that were shocked but were extremely worried for him. When the blade broke their hearts almost stopped beating worrying about Bell.


    When they saw that he escaped they were relieved. After he lost the monster he went back to the place where Syr and Hestia were when they saw him make it back they said,


    ""Bell""


    "Don''t worry, I escaped from the monster but it seems to be specifically chasing us as if it''s in some spell. But the worst part of it is that I don''t have a proper weapon to fight it right now¡­."


    "It''s alright Bell you''ve tried your best there''s not much we can do about it"


    "Bell¡­. If you had a proper weapon what are your chances against that monster?"


    "Well right now I''ve got about a 50% chance with my stats like that"


    "Let''s update your status right now"


    "I doubt that it would make any difference since it was updated just a few days ago"


    "Even a little can help and here I got this for you" saying so she took up the sack from her back. Right now with her height increased she was somehow able to carry it despite it being heavy.

    "Then how were you able to get a Hephaestus branded weapon?? The cheapest ones also go for a few hundred thousand valis and looking at this weapon it looks like it can go for a few million valis"

    The blades were the same color themed as his previous White and Pitch Black except that they were way better than the ones he had made. They were also heavy swords and unlike the Hestia knife they didn''t have hieroglyphics on them but they were extremely balanced and sharp. They were single edged Heavy swords and were completely different from each other. Unlike the usual dual swords, they were in no way similar.


    He then took off his shirt for the blessings, he had a perfect V-shaped body with a perfect 10-pack and well defined muscles all over his body. When Syr and Hestia saw that they were blushing deep red.


    He then turned around showing his back to them, they regretted not being able to look at him for more time. Hestia then upgraded his status, he put his shirt back on and took the two heavy swords. They weighed a lot he was surprised at how Hestia was able to carry this.


    He didn''t bother checking the swords yet and decided to do that later on.

 17 Syrs Feelings

    He opened his Map and located the monster, by now with the commotion of the monster a lot of people went inside their homes afraid of it but they were still peeking from their windows and trying to see if it had left their area or not.


    He went near the monster and shouted,


    "YOU APE COME HERE IF YOU HAVE THE GUTS"


    ''ROARRRRR''


    He then ran to a more open area and tried to lure it. Right now the ape was completely pissed at him. Though it was a monster and had a very low intelligence it still had some instinctual tendencies.


    He led it to a more open area he then took out the two swords from their scabbards and got ready to kill it. If he wanted to kill this type of monster he could easily do it with a single slash but he had to put up a show for the people looking at him and also to impress Syr and Hestia.


    He also figured out that Freya was also looking at him from a building he didn''t bother about it. When the monster showed up almost a few meters from him he jumped straight onto it and slashed his swords at its shoulders which left a huge wound on it.


    He then slashed once again on its back which had a restraint which wrapped around its neck. It then gained some freedom which allowed it to move easier.


    The ape then swung its arms which had chains bound to it and were almost about to hit him. But just before that happened he threw one of the swords in the air and held the chains swinging along with it straight up in the air. When he was high in the air he was positioned right next to the sword he threw. In that high altitude, he caught the sword and fell straight onto the Ape monsters head. He held both his swords and swung it down straight at its head.


    With that momentum the Silverback (Note - The Ape Monster) could not avoid it and only wait for its death, the sword pierced the head of the Silverback and continued till the ground. It then turned into ashes leaving behind a magic stone on the ground.

    He then kept back the swords onto his back in a cool manner


    ""Bell are you alright?""


    Both Hestia and Syr asked at the same time which surprised him a bit. He replied,"Y-Yeah I''m fine"

    Just when they came near Bell they noticed that people had come out of their homes now that the monster was killed. They were cheering and praising him for killing that monster and saving them. At the same time from an alleyway in the corner, Aiz was seeing the whole fight and was surprised as this was the same person who she had saved on the fifth floor.


    Though she wanted to talk to him and apologize she felt that this was not the right time to do so and was standing there looking at him. Just them Loki came behind her and was about to grope her butt but before she could do so Aiz just turned back and left.


    Freya was standing on top of a building and observing the whole thing she then said, "Well Hestia that was not a nice thing to do but I''ll let it slide this time" after which she just disappeared from there.


    Hestia then came towards him and said, "You did well Bel-" but before she could finish her sentence she fainted. He understood that this was probably due to her staying with Hephaestus who made his weapon hence he just lifted her up in his arms with a princess carry and turned to Syr asking her if he could borrow a room for a while.


    She didn''t hesitate and agreed with him, after they went to The Benevolent Mistress she took him to a room and asked him to let her rest there. After leaving her there he went out and saw that Syr was standing right outside waiting for him.


    "Thank you for lending a room here"


    "Please don''t mention it, its partly my fault since you came there just to return my wallet. If not this wouldn''t have happened"


    "That''s not true at all and please don''t blame yourself"


    "But when I saw you fighting that monster... I fell in love with you"


    "Really?..."


    "....." She wanted to say that she was just joking but she couldn''t deny that she actually had feelings for him. Hence, she just kept quiet and looked down to the ground not daring to meet his eyes.


    "I love you too Syr"


    When she heard that she was shocked and her already blushing face went even red. She wanted to run away but before she could do so Bell pulled her into his embrace and hugged her.


    They both stayed like this for a while before he left her and asked her to take care of Hestia for a while and went out. Hestia who was sleeping heard all that and just let out a sigh. She knew that one of Bell''s goal was to make a harem hence she couldn''t say anything.


    Syr went inside and saw that Hestia had woken up, she was still blushing and also guessed that Hestia would have definitely heard everything so she just stood there and asked in a low voice "Are you alright with that?"


    Hestia then turned towards her and said "When I asked him why he came to Orario he told me that he wanted to get stronger and at the same time he wants to make a harem"

    Syr who heard that was shocked as she didn''t expect that he would actually have such a goal. Thinking about it she only laughed a little and thought it was actually a goal which suited him. She felt that he was like a light and she definitely could not have him for herself.

 18 Sun and Moon

    He went down to get some food for Hestia, Syr and himself as none of them had eaten anything after the monster attack in the afternoon. He bought some soup form the restaurant and also thanked Mama Mia for letting Hestia rest here.


    Though she didn''t mind if he felt like he had to at least thank her. When he went back up he found Syr and Hestia talking he felt relieved that she finally woke up. When he went into the room his eyes met up with Syr''s and he gave a smile.


    Seeing him she blushed a little and said, "W-Well I have some work to do so I''ll see you later" after which she left.


    "Hestia, how are you feeling right now?"


    "I''m fine, I feel much better now that you are here"


    "Here I bought you some soup to drink"


    "Oh!! Thank you"


    After finishing the soup he asked her, "Hestia what, was that weapon that you gave me? After I killed the monster I saw that it was a Hephaestus Familia weapon and a top one at that. It would definitely be worth a lot right?"


    "You don''t have to worry about that. I''ve already taken care of the payment"


    "Really?"


    Seeing that she still didn''t want to admit it he just kept quiet and decided to pay back the Hephaestus Familia once he earns enough.


    "Oh, I almost forgot. You have the Blacksmithing skill right?"


    "Though I have it I''ve rarely used it. I use it to mostly make a few weapons for myself or for their maintenance and repair"


    "Hephaestus had told me that you can use their Familia forge if you decide to develop the skill. Though you have to pay for the amount of time you use the forge it would definitely be worth it."


    "¡­..I was thinking of renting a building in the city for a forge but with this most of my problems would be solved. So then who should I talk to?"


    "You just have to talk to Hephaestus once and discuss the details"


    "Well did she tell you anything about these swords??"


    "These swords are called Black Moon and White Sun according to their colors. She told me that it is a weapon which grows along with its user and has a few other abilities but you won''t be able to use them unless you increase your blacksmithing abilities rank"


    "¡­..So basically the main thing is that the weapon would be as strong asmuch as its owner right?"


    "Exactly and only the first person who used it would be able to activate this ability and in the hands of others it''s just a lump of metal"


    "I see¡­.. This is surely a nice weapon and I like it. Thanks, Hestia"

    When he saw the skill description he was shocked as there was no such thing as stealing the opponents magic to restore his own. This change was definitely influenced by him, as the unlocking condition depended on him and along with the growth ability, this completely makes sense.

    Seeing his status even Hestia was shocked when she was upgrading it during the silverback (Note - Ape monster in case someone forgot) incident she wasn''t able to properly see how much his status increased so when she saw it now she was completely surprised.


    It was a jump in almost two ranks, he was bordering around some of the stats so it could be said that it was an increase by three ranks. When she was done she felt a little jealous as it was probably due to Aiz and Syr that it had increased with the help of the Liaris Freese skill.

    Next day morning,


    He decided to first go to the guild and tell Eina about his status increase, this way he can get an excuse and take her out on a date to buy some armour. He wanted to first go to Hephaestus due to her invitation but decided that it would be better if he got the Heavenly Flame first and then go to her.


    He did this because there might be a chance that Hephaestus might be able to sense the Heavenly flame since she was originally a Blacksmith from heaven. If he went to meet her now and then get the Heavenly Flames he won''t be able to use the excuse of having a ''lucky encounter'' outside of Orario.


    After he went to the dungeon he only practiced his Space-Time Magic with which he was able to increase his control by a small margin. Though it was small he was still satisfied with this as this was a magic which originally should not exist in this plane.


    If he is able to increase the control over his magic he would be able to use long-range teleportation which can be very useful. After that he went to the seventh floor and killed a few monsters and got some magic stones.


    He was feeling a little dizzy due to the excessive use of magic during his practice as using Space-Time Magic with his level is still very tough. Though his stats are comparable to a level 3, there exists a type of barrier between each level, only by breaking this barrier and gaining the powerbeyond it can he get better. This type of power is not attainable just by increasing his stats.


    It is said that with higher levels one is able to reach a state closer to god, it is similar to that type of power. Though more than power it should be called authority.


    Only by gaining a higher authority can he use his magic easily so as of right now it can only be compensated by a large amount of mana.


    After he finished killing a few monsters did he leave the dungeon. When he went out he saw that there was still some time until evening but he didn''t care for that and went straight to the guild.


    After exchanging the magic stones for cash he went straight to Eina''s counter. When she saw him coming towards her she gave a small smile towards him.


    "Hey Eina, anything new today?"


    "Hey Bell, nothing much just the same old-same old. What about you did you want something ?"


    "Yes I''ve decided to start hunting in the seventh floor from now so I want you to give me details of the monsters in that floor and the layout of that floor"

    "Are you crazy?? Just a few days ago you were killed by a Minotaur in the fifth floor and now you want to go to the seventh floor ?If something happens to you what am I supposed to d-¡­.. supposed to tell your goddess?"

    She looked at his armour and equipment realizing that they were the cheap set and wouldn''t last him more than the first few floors.

    Listening to those words he was sure that he could complete his quest which was to take Eina out on a date.

    While he was thinking about the dishes he was going to make with them he was interrupted by Eina''s voice

    Snapping out of his daze he turned towards the voice,

    She had a white top and red skirt and didn''t wear her glasses this gave her a youthful look compared to her usual mature look in the guild uniform with glasses.


    "You look really beautiful today. Your dress is really nice too"


    "R-Really you think so?"


    "Yup, you look much younger today too with this dress"

    After that, they went towards the Babel tower.

    Right now Bell and Eina were inside Babel tower to buy some new equipment for him,

    She went towards Eina and went near her ear (which was now possible due to the new height) and whispered,

    If this was the usual Eina she would have said that she wouldn''t do such a thing but right now she couldn''t deny that she liked Bell.


    Seeing her silent Bell cut in and said, "We were on a date and she was helping me buy some equipment along with that. Since we were running a bit late we''ll talk to you later Hestia??"


    "Kukhh..... A date huh?"


    "Yup"


    "I-I see then I hope I''m not disturbing you two then"


    After which she just went back with an annoyed look on her face and was also muttering something by herself.


    Eina who was also listening to the conversation was blushing deep red and was looking at the ground and was holding the edges of her shirt like a girl in love. But she had a happy expression despite that.


    "So should we get going Eina?"


    "S-Sure, l-l-let''s go"


    After they went into the lift Bell started a conversation to break the mood, "Umm¡­. We would probably look around for a little while before we finish buying so do you want to go out after that?"

    After that they went into an alleyway looking like an area where a lot of blacksmiths were displaying their works, there were a few adventurers buying weapons, armors and different types of equipment.


    Eina and Bell went into one of the shops where they were selling armors as their main product. He told Eina that he would be looking around and left her. She also started to look for different types of armors so that she could give him some advice on what to buy.


    "Well let''s see it should be somewhat around here... Ah!! Found it!!!"


    He took a box with an entire set of light armor in it, this was the same light armor which was made by Welf Crozzo. Though he was sure that he could make better equipment than him in the near future, it wouldn''t hurt to befriend him and also at the present he really couldn''t make a proper armor with his abilities.

    "Eina I''ve decided to buy this armor"


    "Well are you sure you want a light armor, though it doesn''t restrict your movement, it can''t really give you much defense either"


    "It''s fine. I think this armor would be perfect for me"

    After that Eina accepted to be his girlfriend and he was going back towards the church when he remembered the rewards he got from the Quest, he got an extra reward which was the Hestia knife.


    Though he didn''t need this since he had the Sun and Moon sword he kept it just in case for an emergency since he couldn''t always carry them around.


    He took it out of the inventory and attached it to his belt. He remembered that it was around the same time that Lily was going to make an entrance. Though he wasn''t a lolicon he felt sad for her, since she was always bullied by her Familia and had lost her parents when she was a small kid.


    He only wanted to save her and be a pillar of support for her, he didn''t want to include her into his future harem. Hence he decided to go with the brother type approach.


    When he was walking in an alleyway, he felt someone running into his back. This was Lily just like in the anime she was a prum with brown hair.


    He then saw an adventurer running towards her with his sword and just when he was about to slash it down on her, Bell reacted and blocked the sword with his knife. When the two clashed Lily who had fallen down looked back at the knife which Bell was holding.


    When she saw that a slight glint passed through her eyes.


    "Who the hell are you and why the fuck are you saving her??"


    "Do I need a reason to save someone who was chasing after a small girl with a sword in his hand??"


    Just then "Stop it" Ryuu appeared from the other side of the alleyway


    "You shouldn''t be using your swords in the middle of the city"


    "Huh? Who the fuck are you??" The adventurer said in a mocking tone.


    With a loud voice along with some anger behind it, Ryuu suddenly said, "Silence"


    "If possible I don''t want to fight because I always end up going too far"


    "Tch¡­ Damn it"


    After that threat, the adventurer left leaving behind Bell and Ryuu.


    "Thank you, Ryuu"


    "No, it was nothing. If anything happened to you I-¡­Syr would be very sad" when she almost said that she would have been sad if anything had happened to him he felt a little happy that Ryuu was having feelings towards him. But he understood that she was suppressing these feelings due to Syr.


    "Anyhow are you alright little gir-"


    When he turned back he saw that there was no one there. "She must have run away due to being afraid"

    After that, he went back to the church and saw that Hestia was sleeping peacefully in the bed. He understood that this was probably due to her working two part-time jobs since she now owes Hephaestus money for the swords.


    He decided to meet Lily tomorrow and meet Hephaestus regarding the forge the day after. He then went to bed and fell straight asleep.

    The next day after he woke up and finished his daily routine he then got ready with his new equipment to go to the dungeon. He equipped his knife in the side of his utility belt along with his heavy swords at the back.


    He then left towards the dungeon. Right, when he was going towards it he felt someone calling him,

    When he turned back he saw a short kid with an unusually large bag for her size and with a white cloak standing behind him and was calling him.

    "Yes, would you like a supporter for the dungeon??"


    "I see, you''re a supporter huh. But were you alright after yesterday''s incident??"


    "Yesterday''s incident??"


    "Your that prum girl who was being chased by that adventurer right?"


    "I don''t understand what you mean, Lily is a clienthrope not a prum"


    She then took off her hood and showed him her cat ears, he then tried to pinch the ears which made Lily wriggle a little.

    After they entered the dungeon they went straight to the seventh floor, Lily was impressed at his abilities as he was able to easily kill those monsters. In the seventh floor, his rate of hunting monsters increased by a huge margin.


    This was mainly due to Lily since now he didn''t need to collect all the monster cores that he had hunted since, Lily would take care of that.


    He mainly used his knife since he wanted to test its actual abilities and also to show its strength to Lily so that she would steal it from him. The abilities are a little lesser than his Heavy sword even though they both contain the same effect.


    This must have been due to himself, he decided that when he frees Lily from the Soma Familia and lets her join Hestia''s he would gift the knife to her. So he just kept them back and walked towards Lily who was collecting the monster stones.


    The last monster he killed was stuck in the dungeon wall and it would be difficult to get its core since Lily was not tall enough to reach it.

    After parting with Lily he went towards the Guild to talk to his new girlfriend and to also inform her that he got a supporter.

    "I came to tell you that I hired a supporter today. Her name was Liliruca Arde, she''s from the Soma Familia and a prum"


    "A supporter from the Soma Familia, huh?"


    "Yeah she''s a nice kid and calls me Nii-sama I got a pretty good haul today due to her help"

    Though she was his girlfriend she tried to maintain her work different from her personal life as much as possible. She was a little jealous that the supporter was a girl but she was relieved that she was like a little sister to him.

    After that he then used his map function and scanned for Lily''s location, he had put a marker on her today when they were in the dungeon.

    When she saw who they were, she saw an elf and a human wearing maid dress walking towards her. She noticed that the elf was the same one who she saw the other day and hid the knife in her sleeve.


    After walking past them she felt a little relieved when suddenly,


    "Stop right there, prum"


    She froze in that spot when she heard


    "Show me the knife hidden in your sleeve. One of my friends has a knife similar to that. I just want to check it"


    "This is mine you must be mistaken"


    "Nonsense. I know of only one person with a knife that has Hieroglyphics"


    After which she flicked a coin in her direction, this coin flew at an extremely fast speed and hit straight towards her hand which made her lose the grip on her hand and let go of the knife.


    She didn''t wait and just ran away after that, she didn''t know why her luck was so bad today and just when she saw the main street at the end of the alleyway she crashed into someone.


    But before she could fall she felt a hand catch her and saw that it was Bell who caught her. Before running into him she had changed her appearance into that of a chienthrope so she wasn''t worried that she would get caught.


    Just then Ryuu and Syr came out of the alleyway and saw Bell, he then asked them,


    "Did you guys see a knife that''s all black from top to bottom??"


    Ryuu then took out the knife and showed it to him and asked, "Is this it?"


    Seeing that he smiled, though the knife was a little valuable he was happier that he could hold Ryuu''s hand. He then went towards her and grabbed hold of her hands and said, "Thank You very much Ryuu"


    When Syr saw that she was feeling a little jealous and angry at the same time since she was currently his girlfriend and he was holding the hand of another woman right in front of her.


    Ryuu currently was feeling happy and embarrassed at the same time since he was holding her hand. But then saw Syr and said in a low voice, "B-Bell you should do these sort of things with Syr, not me"


    Syr who heard that was feeling extremely shy right now, "What are you saying Ryuu!!"


    "Here you go" saying so she gave the knife towards Bell. Though he wanted to hold her soft hands for a little while longer he let it go and took the knife from her.


    The knife which came into contact with him glowed a little and went back to normal. Though it glowed only a little Lily had seen that and was shocked.


    "Where did you find it though??"


    "More than finding it we got it from the hands of a prum who had it"


    "Prum??"


    Syr then looked towards Lily and gave a slight smile and left it at that.


    "Then we''ll be going then"


    "Thank you for your help. I''ll be sure to repay you later"

    "So Lily, are you going to tell me why you stole my knife then??"

    Bell had told her all about Lily''s circumstances and also that she had cut all ties with her previous Familia and had nowhere to go right now.

    He noticed Hestia emphasizing the imouto part and thought if she was not his imouto then would she have accepted her?? But he didn''t dwell too much on that and looked at Lily.


    "See I told you right she would definitely accept you"


    "Thank you, goddess Hestia for accepting me into you Familia"


    "Well don''t worry about that, if you have any problems you can definitely come to me for help"


    "Well, then I guess it''s about time that we move away from this place now that we have another member right??" Bell wanted to move out of the church right now since even Lily has joined the Familia and he wanted to find a better place in case any new members decide to join.


    Apart from that he also has to clear up the loan from Hephaestus Familia since new members would hesitate to join if they get to know of the loan.


    "But the problem is that we don''t have enough money to buy a house in Orario"


    "Well we can take our time and search for one as for the money I''m pretty sure that we can get enough for a small sized home for our Familia"


    After some discussion, it was decided that Lily and Hestia would be the one responsible for searching for the house and Bell would be responsible for the necessary funds for their house.

 25 I Want You

    It was the next day after Lily joined the Familia, right now he was going to meet Hephaestus regarding the forge she told him about. Though even he was not sure why she did so much for him as he didn''t really have any contact with her as of yet and had yet to make her one of his women.


    He went straight to the Hephaestus Familia and when he was walking in the street he noticed a lot of girls looking at him with flushed gazes and whispering among themselves.


    When he reached the gated he told one of the guards his name and they let him pass through, though even they didn''t know why their goddess called for him.

    He went inside the room which was supposedly Hephaestus''s office where a lot of papers could be seen lying around on a desk, and behind those piles of papers a red-haired women with a red eye sitting on a chair with an eye patch on her right eye and was wearing a white shirt with black gloves which covered her entire arm could be seen.


    This woman was Hephaestus, who was the goddess of the No.1 blacksmithing Familia in Orario.


    Right next to her a brown-skinned woman could be seen standing she had long black hair, red eye and had an eye patch similar to Hephaestus except on the left eye. She was wearing a sarashi to cover her breasts and sandals for her feet.


    She was the captain of the Hephaestus Familia Tsubaki Collbrande as well as a master smith.


    When they saw Bell they finally understood why all the women in their Familia were head over heels for this guy. He was truly beautiful, with his white hair, pale white skin along with a perfect body he falls into the strike zone of any girl. Even they had their hearts skip a beat when they saw him.


    Right now he was wearing black clothes with the cloak of darkness which along with his white hair looked extremely beautiful.


    "So your that kid who joined Hestia''s Familia, Bell Cranel right?" finally after calming herself Hephaestus spoke up.


    "That''s right but you can just call me Bell"


    "Well, now I finally understand why all the girls in our Familia are talking about you. I myself feel like I want to hug you and give you a kiss" Tsubaki who was standing behind Hephaestus spoke while looking at him, but after she finished speaking Bell was only left with a wry smile on his face.


    "Well, it''s not like I can actually do anything about it right?"


    "Well leaving all that aside Hestia told me that you have the Blacksmithing skill right? But before you say anything I want to tell you that the only reason that I''m helping you out is that Hestia is a close friend and I want to help her out that is all there is to it"


    "So how are you going to help me??"


    "I can''t ask my Familia for help in a personal matter but lucky for you Tsubaki volunteered herself to help you out. So you''ll have both Tsubaki and me to help you out in you Blacksmithing but you have to pay for your own material and everything else just like the rest of my Familia. The only thing you get for free is advise and help from me and Tsubaki"


    "Well I understand most of that but where exactly do I forge??"


    "For a forge, you''ll be given a basic forge from Tsubaki but you''ll have to pay her for it and you can settle the details later on regarding your payments. Only for today will we give you the materials and forge for free to let you understand more about blacksmithing"


    "Got it"


    "Good, if your able to get your own forge that''s also fine but you have to go to Tsubaki on your own if you have any questions got it?? Do you have anything to say??"


    "Um¡­ I heard that when anyone joins your Familia they are shown a sword and if they are able to make a better sword then you accept their request??"


    "Well, it is true that a lot of smiths proposed to me since I''m the goddess of smiting and I told them that if they are able to make a better weapon than the one shown to them then I would accept their proposal but why do you ask??"


    "Well does this apply to those outside of your Familia too??"


    "It does but what do you want to ask from me??"

 26 Billion Valis

    After he finished saying that,


    "HAHAHAH¡­. Your good kid tell you what if your able to make a sword better than that I''ll also serve you what do you say??"


    When he heard what Tsubaki said he was a taken aback as he didn''t expect her to do that. But he then gave a slight smile and said, "It''s your choice don''t forget what you said today"


    "Well this isn''t the first time someone has said that to me but why do you want me??"


    "Well obviously since your beautiful what other reason can be there??"


    "I''m beautiful!!!!" Hephaestus said that as if it was the most shocking thing in the world. Even Tsubaki was shocked as she knew of how people look at Hephaestus with fright due to her left eye, even the members of her Familia couldn''t help but look at her in the same way.


    The only person who didn''t judge her by how she looked was Hestia that was the main reason why she was helping her Familia out to such extent. Right now when she heard that she was beautiful she was overjoyed and didn''t know what to say.


    In the past, there were many men who lied to her to gain a favor and get her to make a weapon for them, due to which she could now easily distinguish between those who were lying and those who were actually telling the truth.


    From what he said she could see that it was his true feelings and he wasn''t lying and this was the first time someone said that to her due to which she was having a complicated feeling.


    But despite that, she knew the task which he wanted to do was extremely hard and was close to impossible for a human to do it by himself, "Let''s see you tell that after you see the sword"


    After which she took him to a room and showed him a sword when he saw that sword he found out that it was a half-divine sword which was made without the help of Arcanum and only by the capabilities of a mortal.


    He understood that if he wanted to make a sword better than that it would have to be half-divine or divine grade sword. This was the only way to do so.


    After she showed him the sword she knew that this is where most people give up and concede defeat, but when she saw Bell''s face she was surprised that he was having a casual expression as if this was a normal sword.


    She knew that since he had the Blacksmithing skill he would definitely be able to sense the difficulty to craft such a sword at the very least he would have a surprised expression.


    "So what do you think will you be able to craft a sword comparable to this??"


    "Well if I''m given some time and guidance it should be possible but to make one exceeding this would some effort be doable I guess"


    When she heard what he had said she was shocked, though people who had seen this sword for the past thousand years had definitely challenged to create a sword comparable or better than the one here, none had ever said it in such a casual way.


    She felt that if anyone would be able to do it, it can only be him.


    "If you''re truly able to make a sword comparable to this I will be your woman"


    "Only a few years and I will definitely be able to do it, so just wait for me"

    After that, they both came out of the room and went back to her office. He then remembered about the debt his Familia had owed her so he asked, "Hey Hephaestus, how much does Hestia owe you Familia for the two swords?? She told me that you had personally crafted them is that right??"

    This time both Tsubaki and Bell were stunned listening to the amount, he thought that it would probably cost a few hundred valis but the price she said was completely out of his expectations. He would have to start grinding in the middle or lower layers to earn that much.

 27 First Lesson

    Saying so he took out a knife and gave it to her, this knife was just like the Hestia Knife with hieroglyphs except it was not bounded to any Familia. When Hephaestus took the knife she was surprised as this knife had the same growth property as the two heavy swords she gave him.


    The only difference was that this was linked to an entire Familia and could not be used by anyone outside it. She was shocked that such a weapon actually exists and then guessed that it should have been another blacksmithing god who had given it to him.


    "Hey boy, where did you get this sword??"


    "Well the person who introduced me to smiting gave me two of them one is in your hand while the other already belongs to the Hestia Familia"

    She was still surprised at the knife but didn''t ask anything further and took the agreement which she made with Hestia and gave it to Bell along with another agreement of the same type which was unsigned.


    He then signed it and gave it back to her keeping the one she gave into his storage while acting as if he was keeping it in his bag.


    Tsubaki who was seeing this was shocked completely as she couldn''t identify what was the knife which she had gotten from Bell. She knew how valuable the swords that Hephaestus gave him were but she still exchanged it for this knife.


    "The sword''s I gave you were definitely better than the knife, though this is also a great weapon it is not comparable to those swords. This is only collateral and if anything happens to you Hestia will still have to pay in your stead got it!!"


    "Sure that''s fine enough with me. I hope that you don''t tell Hestia about this either alright"


    "Sure that''s not a problem"


    "So should we start then??"


    "Tsubaki, take him to my forge I''ll come right after I finish some matters"

    She took him to the forge in her room and was asking him about the knife which he gave Hephaestus. When she heard that it was a growth type weapon she was shocked as she only knew of Hephaestus who could make this type of weapon.


    As they were talking Hephaestus came in and was holding a hammer in her hands. She then tossed these hammers towards Bell, he was surprised that she just threw it at him but he wasn''t worried and caught it in a casual manner.


    "This is a basic hammer which is given to any new member of our Familia treat it as a present from me for your first class"


    "Thanks"


    "So first lesson let''s see how you make a weapon"


    "Sure"


    He took off his shirt and took a few ingots to heat up when they saw him taking off his shirt they didn''t seem bothered as this was commonly done during smiting. But when they saw how well developed his body was they were shocked as this was a body which was perfect in every sense.


    With a proper V-shaped body, 10-pack abs and proper muscle distribution all over his body, it was truly a MAN''s body.


    After that he went towards the furnace and put in a few ingots and lit up his Heavenly Flame, this flame isn''t considered as a skill or magic according to the system and hence was put under the equipment category.


    When Hephaestus saw the flames she was extremely shocked as for Tsubaki she asked, "You can use fire magic??"


    "This isn''t magic"


    "Then how did you make those flames??"


    "H-Heavenly Flames!!!!"


    "That''s right, this is a heavenly flame"


    When Tsubaki heard that even she was completely shocked as these were flames which were from the heavens, though there have been records of these flames in the world it was close to impossible to obtain them as just to find one would be like finding a needle in the world''s largest haystack.


    "¡­.How did you get these flames??"


    "I got it outside of Orario during the time I was coming from my village. I was extremely lucky and found it"

    After heating the ingots he took the metal and placed it on the anvil and took his hammers and started to hammer on it. When he was hammering he felt something in his blood vibrate. He thought that this was probably due to the Hephaestus blood which he got as a reward and didn''t bother about it.


    On the other hand, Hephaestus who was watching this also felt her blood excite she knew that this was due to Bell and was even more shocked. She was able to feel a connection from him as if it was naturally existing, she understood that he had the talent to make magic swords comparable to hers.


    The Hephaestus Blood which he got wasn''t a type of bloodline but instead, it was a magical bloodline which had a high density of magic. This density was comparable to Hephaestus''s and can be used to make magic swords when smiting.


    When he was hammering the ingot he had a definite interval between each swing and was hammering at precise locations, they were able to see that he had proper experience in the field and was not making any unnecessary strikes.

    After nearly two to three hours or so he finally finished making the weapon, it was an ax which he had made. He then gave it to them to check up on it.


    After they were done they saw that this ax was comparable to a weapon made by a Level 3 blacksmith and was also made with extreme precision. They knew that this was an ax which could only be made if one had the strength and dexterity similar to a level 3 adventurers.


    The strength and dexterity can be easily achieved but the precision was comparable to that of a Level 4''s. Hephaestus now understood why he was so calm when he saw that weapon.


    "Umm¡­.. so how was it??"


    "Well your performance was truly good all you lack right now to go to the next level is your level. Though you have great strength and dexterity it would be tough to make a weapon which can be truly comparable to a higher level''s"


    "I see well then I want to learn how to make armors so can you tell me about that??"


    "¡­.Sure. But you didn''t learn how to make armors at all?"


    "Though it''s embarrassing that is the truth" saying which he could only give a wry smile.


    He was immersed in practicing for the entire day and when it was soon to be evening, he left the forge after cleaning it up and also thanked Hephaestus and Tsubaki for their help.

 28 In Love??

    After he left Tsubaki and Hephaestus were talking about him,


    "Hephaestus-sama he definitely has some skills in smiting don''t you think??"


    "¡­.When he was smithing I could feel that he had a dense amount of mana concentration in his blood which was similar to my own. If he makes a magical weapon it wouldn''t be any weaker than that Crozzo boy'' s weapons"


    "Similar to yours!!!!!"


    "Yes even I was shocked but it seems that he still hasn''t realized I tor he doesn''t know how to use it as of yet"


    "¡­.. Well that aside even his smiting skills were top notch for his level and once he''s able to level up he should be able to make better weapons than how he is right now"

    Hephaestus then remembered about what he had said about her and after seeing his Blacksmithing skill''s she was secretly hoping that he is actually able to make a weapon better than hers in the future and take her as his women.


    Thinking about that she had a grinning expression on her face like a girl in love. Tsubaki also understood what she was thinking about seeing that smile on her face and remembered that she had told him that she would also become his woman if he is able to make a weapon better than Hephaestus.


    Causing a light blush on her face, but being the usual thick-skinned women she was she recovered from that easily and snapped Hephaestus out of her dreamland.


    "Oh and don''t tell anyone about his Blood as there would be a lot of greedy adventurer''s who would want a talent like his. I don''t want him to become like Welf and stop trying to make weapons due to his pride"


    "Don''t worry I know"

    Babel Highest Floor


    On a chair facing the window a woman could be seen sitting there, she had a sexy black dress with a red outlining and was looking down at the people entering and exiting Babel.


    This woman was none other than Freya, "Aaa¡­. Bell, everyone gets to be with you but why not me!!"


    Nearby Ottar was standing by guarding her, he knew about his goddess''s obsession to find adventurers and treat them as playthings. But he could also see that this time was much different from the others and she saw him not just as a plaything.


    In fact, even Ottar didn''t know that she had actually fallen in love with Bell. At first, she thought that this was one of her obsessions but as time passed by she found that she wanted more of him and couldn''t be without him.


    "I actually fell in love with him," she thought to herself


    "Ottar can you leave me alone for a while"


    "Yes, My Lady"


    She stood up and went towards the bookshelf and took out one book from the bookshelf. But looking at the title ''Modern Magic that even goblins can learn'' she just put it back,


    "If you were like my other playthings I would have sent this to you but¡­."


    thinking so she took out another book from the shelf, looking at its title she smiled after which she had an ecstatic expression on her face and said,

 29 Grimoire

    Unknown to Bell that one of his targets had fallen in love with him he was just going back to the abandoned church. He was supposed to discuss with Hestia and Lily regarding their new home.


    After he reached the church and went inside he saw Hestia and Lily eating jagamarukuns. When they noticed Bell coming in they greeted him,


    "Welcome back Bell (Nii-sama)"


    "So have you guys decide on what place to buy as of yet??"


    "We have to take our time and decide stuff like this it can''t be done in a hurry. Also, we still haven''t decided whether it would be a temporary one or a permanent one"


    "I agree with goddess Hestia. Does nii-sama have any idea??"


    "Well even I had the same thought, it would be much better if we bought a permanent residence. As for the money, we can only work off at the dungeon since we don''t have any other source of income for our Familia"


    "We searched for some houses which we can afford for our Familia and here''s the list"


    Saying so Hestia passed a file to Bell, it contained images and description for various houses and plots in Orario. He was surprised at the detailed description of each house in the file they had truly worked hard to gather all this information.


    "Well, most of the houses can be ignored as they would only be a burden if our Familia increases later on. Our most reasonable option would be to buy a plot"


    "Why a plot though??"


    "Well for one, plots are cheaper and we can construct the house based on our requirements. The few houses for Familia use don''t have necessary stuff like forges or practice areas which would be extremely necessary later on. But the important thing is the distance from the dungeon, some houses are extremely close by whereas a few are situated near the walls these locations are bad for a dungeon exploration familia"


    "¡­..So how does a plot help us then??"


    "Most free lands are located in the middle areas which would be perfect as they wouldn''t be too far from the dungeon and we can also access the business district in Orario which would be a proper location for our base"


    "I see... you definitely have thought it through haven''t you"


    "That''s right nii-sama you are soo smart. I and Hestia had to go through them for hours just to eliminate a few of them"


    He then started to take out a few pages from the file saying,


    "With our requirements¡­.. these five are the only plots which would satisfy us"

To both of them, a billion valis is a lot of money, especially Hestia who still had her loan of a billion valis with Hephaestus, as of yet she still didn''t know that Bell had taken over the loan and hence she was still working in Hephaestus''s shop paying off her debt.


    "You guys don''t have to worry much about that, I''m the one in charge of the money and I estimate that it would take a couple of weeks or so to buy the land with our current rate. But since we are only in the upper levels it is slow and once we go into the middle levels the rate at which we can gather our funds will only increase"

    Hestia and Lily were just staying silent at his words, they then realized that the Familia''s earning rate was much faster than any other Familia at the lower levels. The difference was so huge that they could compare to a Familia who were hunting at the middle levels.


    "Well anyhow I''m tired right now after forging for an entire day so I''m going to sleep early if you have anything to discuss let''s do that tomorrow"

    The next day Bell went towards the ''Benevolent Mistress'' to return the lunchbox he took from Syr. When he went there Syr was surprised that he hadn''t gone to the dungeon today.


    "Bell why didn''t you go to the dungeon today??"


    "Well, I had to check out some plots along with Hes-¡­ My goddess and one of my Familia member so we didn''t go today"


    "I see, well what do you plan to do after that??"


    "Hmm¡­. I don''t have anything particularly planned but do you want to go on a date??"


    "D-Date!!!"


    "Yup a date. Just me and you"


    "¡­..Though I want to go I have my shift today and I''ve taken quite a few leaves already so I can''t come with you. Sorry"


    "Nah its fine don''t worry about it we can go the next time you''re free. But its true that I have nothing to do though..."

    She went near the counter where alarge thick book was kept and bought it towards him.


    "One of our customers forgot it here and left so in case you want to you I can lend it to you. Besides I don''t think they might come back for it though"


    "Well its true that I''ve already gone through most of the books Hestia had so¡­. Fine I''ll take you up on that offer"


    Saying so he took the book and when he read the title he was shocked as it was not the same Grimoire Bell had gotten. The title of the book which Bell got Firebolt from was ''Modern Magic even Goblins can learn'' whereas the grimoire in front of him had a title ''Anc**** Magic of G***'' a few parts were scribbled out due to which he couldn''t read it but he had a few guesses on its actual title.


    This was confirmed when he asked the system,


    ''Hey system, can you scan this grimoire to find out its actual title??''

    Though he felt surprised he didn''t show it out on his face as Syr was still here. But he couldn''t understand why Freya would give him such a powerful grimoire as she only saw him as a plaything¡­..unless??.

    "No don''t worry about that if it wasn''t for you then it would just be lying there to collect dust"


    "I''ll cook you a meal later on this weekend alright"

    "Y-Yeah sure. No problem how about I cook for you this weekend along with our date??"

    After checking out the different plots of lands available, they were able to decide on one which costed nearly 50.000.000 valis. Hestia and Lily were still shocked at the price since this was a lot of money and they were still a little skeptical about earning that much in a few weeks.


    After deciding on the plot they reserved it for a month and left the estates office. Hestia had work to do hence she had left early as for lily she had to restock for the dungeon so she also left after that. Bell went back to the church as he decided to read the grimoire.

    After he came back he took the book out from the inventory and started to read. The book explained about the different types of magic such as the ones which a person is born with and the ones a person gets from blessings which were known as Farna.


    It explained in detail regarding the magic''s and also regarding the divinities of gods and how it works.


    Unknowingly he fell into a trance while reading the book. He was in a dream-like state where he was floating in space and in front of him was a small seed, this seed then started to sprout and grow.


    He was able to feel his magic growing smaller and smaller until he was in a mind zero state but the surprising thing was that he didn''t faint and could still see what was going on.


    Then two different lights came out of his body and started to float towards the tree. He was surprised at first as these lights had a familiar feeling to his two different magic''s, the elemental magic and the space-time magic.


    The elemental light had a rainbow-colored light, as for the space-time magic it was made from two different colors bluish-black and dark green. He could still sense that he had the magic but what left him was only the essence of the magic and would recover within a short time.


    When they went towards the mysterious tree they were directly absorbed. The tree then gave out a bright light which spread through the whole space. After this light subsided he opened his eyes and what he saw shocked him.


    The previously empty space was now filled with a huge amount of energies, with the tree as the center a huge lake was formed surrounding it. This lake was supported by a mass of earth. The air around the tree was pure to the extremes.


    The tree also had changed and had a variety of colored leaves which made it look extremely beautiful. It excluded a divine aura which made one want to bow down to it.


    He could faintly sense Arcanum being emitted by the tree, though it was at a very slow pace right now he guessed that it was mostly due to his level.


    He was truly surprised at this discovery as only gods were the beings who could give Arcanum in the form of Falna or blessings. This tree would completely overturn this logic and if anyone else got to know about this he wouldn''t even know how he died.


    Even Freya who gave him the book wouldn''t expect this outcome, the only reason she gave him this grimoire was so that he would become stronger faster and reach a higher level. So, that even if he dies she could take his soul and craft him a body in the divine realm.


    The grimoire''s original purpose was to give the user ancient magic of his highest elemental affinity. If one had multiple affinities of the same value they would get magic''s related to all the affinities. But due to his Elemental Magic, all of his elemental affinities were balanced out and he also had Space-Time Magic which gave him the additional affinities of Space and Time. Space and Time elements originally did not exist in the DanMachi world and only came into existence due to the System.


    Due to all these factors the world was forced to adapt and hence causing him to posses Arcanum. Though the amount is extremely small and won''t cause any changes to him as of yet, but in the future, there would be a possibility for him to become a TRUE GOD.

 31 Meeting Freya

    Though for him to become a god only with the help of the ancient tree would take him a few millennia''s but with the help of the system he would be able to do it in a shorter time.


    After the tree completely filled the space with its aura and merged with the elemental essence and the space-time essence he was forced to go out of the space.


    When he woke up he saw that the grimoire was in an extremely unstable condition.

    There were a lot of things he was surprised at, the firs was his name as there was a brackets of question marks after it, then was his race which changed from Human to Demi-God. This was probably due to the tree which he saw, this confirmed his suspicion that the tree would help him ascend to godhood.


    The next thing would be that the Familia slot was removed, this gave him a headache as he was not sure if this would interfere with his status upgrade, hence he decided to stall getting an upgrade at least until the system finishes upgrading.


    The final thing would be the increment in his stats and abilities ranks, even the previous spirit healing evolved to divine healing. This was probably due to him becoming a demigod.


    Since he couldn''t confirm anything and could only do so after the system finishes upgrading he just left it at that. He was also shocked at the condition of the Grimoire as he remembered that in a normal case a used grimoire should just become blank but the grimoire in his hand was burnt to the point of almost becoming charcoal.


    He just let out a sigh and went out to check out if anything new appeared in any of the stalls. While he was checking out a few food stalls he bumped into a black cloaked figure. Though he knew that the opposite party had done this on purpose since she was following him for quite a while.


    He knew that the black cloaked figure was none other than Freya, after bumping into each other Freya who was about to fall down was held by the waist and was just a few centimetres away from Bell''s Face.


    Seeing his face up close a light blush formed on her face, the same could be said for Bell as this was the first time he saw Freya and he was surprised at how beautiful she was.


    They stayed in that position for a while before he pulled her up and set her straight. Though he still didn''t let go of her waist and instead pulled her a little further.

    In the middle of the street a handsome guy and a black cloaked figure were walking with their arms linked to each other. One could easily tell that the cloaked person is a female by the bountiful curves she had.


    These two were none other than Freya and Bell, due to the black cloak one couldn''t see Freya''s face hence no one found it odd that they were walking like this. If she removed her cloak then anyone present would just freak out looking at them.


    When they reached the shop Freya just told them that she would like a private booth and then went inside guided by the waitress. Bell seeing this asked,


    "Do you come here often??"


    "I just occasionally visit this place whenever I have some free time"


    After they reached the private booth Freya placed the order for the both of them and told the waitress that she didn''t want anyone disturbing them and would call her when they needed their order.


    After the waitress left Bell started to talk,


    "So what would Goddess Freya want with me??"


    When Freya heard that she was a little shocked and then had a bright smile on her face and replied,


    "Since you knew aren''t you afraid of taking advantage of me??"


    When she asked the question she had a playful smile on her face, seeing her like that he decided to play with he a bit and replied,


    "What can I do?? After looking at your beautiful face I couldn''t control myself"


    Noticing his lie she just had a slight smile on her face,


    "I heard that my friend Hestia got an adventurer for her Familia and wanted to check him out but who knew that he was such a womaniser??"


    "Haha well what can I do I just can''t be satisfied with only one woman"


    "With your looks and skills I''m sure a lot of girls would have fallen for you already right??"


    "What you said is true I guess, in fact I already have two girlfriends right now"


    "....W-What did Hestia say about that then??"


    "Well I still haven''t told her about them but I did already tell her that one of my goals is to create a harem so she shouldn''t be too surprised. As for my girlfriends only one of them accepted my harem plan and I still have to tell the other one though"

    When Freya herd his list she was surprised as to where his confidence was coming from thinking he could have these girls for himself, but at the same time she was smiling on the inside thinking how daring and ambitious the man she choose was and finally when she heard him call her she realized that he was right in front of his face.


    If she just moved a little closer then she would just be kissing him, when he was listing out the names of the women he was going to conquer she was a little jealous of them as he didn''t call out her name but in the end when he actually did she had her eyes wide open as she saw that he was this daring!!


    "...And why do you think that I would be a part of your harem??" she asked with a playful voice.


    "Well I don''t just think that you would be a part of my harem, I''m sure of it!! In fact I think you''ve already fallen for me"

    Listening to him tell that she could only let out a sigh and ask,

    "My bad I was busy with some work and couldn''t come for the past two days. I was finally free right now and came to meet you seeing that you''re finally free"

    Though she had a smile on her face he was able to see that she was no happy at all and she was also giving out a dangerous pressure.

 34 Ryuus Feelings

    Right now they were walking towards the ''Benevolent Mistress'' to meet up with Syr. He knew that she knew about his dream of making a harem as she had heard it from Hestia so he was hoping for things to go smoothly.


    When they entered the restaurant he was greeted by Syr who was surprised at seeing Bell with Eina. From the way they were, she understood that she was one of the women who was going to be her future sister.


    She then led them towards an empty table the other maids in the restaurant were also surprised seeing Eina as they knew that Syr was Bell''s girlfriend.


    She then asked Mama Mia if she could take an hour off to have a meal with Bell. Seeing that even Mia agreed and let her off saying that she only had an hour off and she had to come back right after that.


    When Bell and Eina were deciding on their order Syr suddenly came and sat next to Eina and asked,


    "So Bell aren''t you going to introduce her to me??"


    "Well Syr she is Eina Tulle my Dungeon Adviser and my girlfriend"


    "Eina this is Syr Flova a waitress at this restaurant and also my girlfriend"


    When they heard him introduce each other as his girlfriend they had a complicated feeling inside of them anger, happiness, jealousy all such emotions could be seen.


    Right at that time Ryuu came to take their order but when she saw the awkward atmosphere in the table she was a bit worried about Syr as she didn''t know what was going on, after taking their order she said,


    "Bell¡­..can I talk to you for a while"

    After he left them alone for a while Syr tried to start a conversation with her,


    "So¡­.. Eina how did you start going out with Bell??"


    Listening to her question a small smile could be seen on Eina''s face and she then started to speak to about all her encounters with Bell. After she finished Syr then talked about how she fell in love and was asked out by Bell.

    Bell knew that the main reason she was behaving this way was because of the incident concerning her previous Familia and what she did to get revenge for them wiping out an entire Familia.


    "Miss Ryuu, though Bell is a pervert who wants to create a harem for himself, he genuinely cares for each and everyone for them and doesn''t differentiate between anyone. Being with him would definitely give you happiness" even Eina who was seeing this spoke up.


    Listening to all of them Ryuu''s heart cleared up, she wiped her tears and looked straight at Bell with a shy expression on her face and answered,

 35 Ryuus Feelings II

    "¡­.I accept"


    Seeing that she accepted his confession he hugged her by the waist and kissed her on the lips just like he did for Syr and Eina.

    All three of them were surprised at his sudden kiss. Ryuu who had never had a relationship with anyone of the opposite sex before was feeling extremely embarrassed at his sudden kiss. Though she was resisting at first she then gave in and let him take the lead.


    Unlike as he did with Freya he just gave her a simple French kiss and parted with her. He knew that this was the limit he could go as of yet with the three of them.


    As for Syr and Eina both of them also wanted to have a kiss with him seeing that. Unable to bear it Syr went and gave him a kiss, he was truly surprised that Syr actually took the initiative for the first time and kissed her back.


    The only pitiful person right now was Eina who was waiting for her turn to kiss Bell. Unlike with Ryuu he went a little aggressive with s this wasn''t her first time and he had deepened their relationship unlike with that of Ryuu.


    After he finished kissing Syr, Eina hugged him and started to kiss him without giving him any time to rest. Unlike the two of them her emotions were pent up since she was unable to see him for the past few days and with the recent event of him wanting to create a harem she felt that her position as a girlfriend was threatened and she was afraid of losing him.


    Bell who noticed that just went along with her and was even more aggressive than how he did it with Syr. Syr and Ryuu who saw this were a little jealous but they decided to not bother too much about this and let them go at it since they knew that Eina was feeling a little uneasy.


    After a round of kissing all the girls, they all had a slight blush on their faces. Syr and Ryuu who were the shy characters had a slightly deeper shade than Eina who usually plays the onee-san character.


    When they went back to the restaurant Ryuu went straight to the kitchen with a blush on her face, no one in the restaurant noticed that except Mama Mia. As for Syr, Eina and Bell they went towards the table where they were previously sitting and were waiting for their order.


    While waiting for their order Syr and Eina were chatting about various stuff but the topics mostly included were about Bell. Right then a huge slam was seen on the table and they noticed that Mama Mia had come to give their order.


    After giving them their order she came near Bell''s ear and whispered in a low voice so that Syr and Eina couldn''t hear what she was saying and said,


    "If you hurt either of Ryuu or Syr then I''m going to make you wish that you were dead"


    After which she left without saying anything more, but listening to her Bell had cold sweats dripping from his back. Though he was much stronger than her and he could easily compare to a level-10 adventurer in terms of stats he still had an instinctual feeling of fear from her. This was just like the fear a son-in-law had from his father-in-law, even if he was stronger than him he knew that he couldn''t beat him.


    After finishing his dinner in the restaurant he went straight home to prepare dinner for his Familia as he had already prepared the ingredients and it was still around late evening. When he went home he saw that Lily was already back and was sleeping on the sofa and finished replenishing her stocks for the dungeon.


    Seeing her like that he just put a blanket on her and went to cook dinner, while he was cooking he noticed that Lily had just woken up and was in a half awake state near the entrance of the kitchen.


    "Go wash your face the food is almost ready. Once Hestia comes we''ll start eating"

    After washing her face, she was waiting at the sofa, since the size of the church was small to begin with, they didn''t have the space to put up a dining table and usually ate food at the couch.


    After he finished cooking he closed the lid and went back to the couch and spoke with Lily about her day and some dungeon affairs. He was building up his elder brother figure with Lily. He didn''t have much interest in her and considered that she would be a better imouto than a part of his harem.


    While they were talking Hestia came back from her work, she was considerably tired as she had to work two part-time jobs.


    "Why don''t you stop working in at least one of the part-time jobs since our Familia could make enough money with the dungeon right now and you don''t have to work so much"

 37 Meeting Aiz

    After he left the restaurant, he went towards


    He then remembered that today was the day when Aiz was coming out of the dungeon after soloing a floor boss. This would be the best chance to get a lap pillow from her finishing a quest along with having a blissful experience.


    When he went towards the seventh floor where he was going to wait for her to come he remembered that he needed to be in a mind zero state so that she could give him a lap-pillow.


    He knew that today would be the day for him to complete the quest so from morning he had deactivated his divine Healing ability which lets him recover any of his energies as time passes by with the help of the system and was continuously using his Space-Time Magic by opening a personal storage space which he would later on use to make storage rings.


    Right now he let out both of his magic''s, Elemental and Space-Time at the same time in full force which destroyed the surroundings completely before repairing it while at the same time creating a space barrier so that no one notices his presence. This process continued for a few more times while he suddenly started to feel dizzy, her stopped before he could go complete mind down and faint as he had to time it right so that he would faint just when Aiz and Riveria were coming up the stairs.


    He waited for quite some time while two dots appeared on the map, one was Aiz while the other one was Riveria, he marked all his future wives as soon as he got the map function from the system hence he was sure that it was the two of them. He then let out a huge fire-bolt before fainting from Mind Zero condition.


    When he fainted for some time two figures were approaching him while conversing with each other,


    "When we get back everyone is going to be surprised that you defeated a floor boss all by yourself"


    One of them had green hair with a magician robe and a staff in her hand, while the other had a half beaten down armour which just barely covered her privates and had golden hair with an expressionless face.


    When they came up the stairs they saw a guy fallen down in the dungeon face down. When they went near him to check his condition, they were surprised when they looked at him.


    Aiz was a person who didn''t care about most of the things in life and continued to chase after power in order to rescue her mother whose whereabouts are unknown and she doesn''t even know if she is dead or alive and also revenge against the Black Dragon who killed her father and was the reason behind her mother''s disappearance. Due to this she didn''t have much feelings towards the opposite gender and also developed an airhead like personality and thus the only reason she was shocked when she saw Bell was that he was the same person who she had saved on the fifth floor from a Minotaur.


    But the same couldn''t be said about Riveria, though she was a High-Elf and saw many handsome men who tried to win her over in her long life she had never seen someone as pretty as him but she quickly regained herself since even though she thought he was handsome, if he did not have enough strength she wouldn''t truly feel much about him.


    She then placed her hand on top of his head, a slight glow was being emitted from her hand, after checking his condition she said,


    "Nothing to worry about it lookslike he used to much magic without thinking about it"

    After checking the upgrades in the system he then opened the Shop and bought the blueprints for Zanpacto from Bleach and the Red and White dragon sacred gears from DxD, the Divine weapons from Seven Deadly Sins which cost him about 1.500.000.000 SP including the materials.


    He also bought the blueprints for Stormbreaker and the IronMan Mark L suit which was the same suit which he wore in the movie Infinity wars. This was the cheapest of them all since he had to only buy the blueprint. For the materials, it was better to use materials from this world than from earth as he can even add a magic resistance function to it. F.R.I.D.A.Y was also upgraded and has information on various magics and theories of both worlds along with a mana based power source.


    He wanted to buy the infinity goblet which was surprisingly cheap but was warned by the system that he could use it only when he reached Lv.9 so he decided to not buy it for now.


    After buying all the blueprints and the materials he then asked the system about the Divine tree and where it was located and what were its uses.
