    "So you are Kelly Ho, my new accountant!" he asked glancing her degrees in the file she provided.


    She fumbled biting her lips. "Y-yes S-I-r"


    "Are you really an accountant?"


    He got up from his chair with the file in his hand. He sat on his desk in front of her such that she looked away taming his beautiful body.


    Pushing the specs back on her nose Bridge, she rested her hands in her th??hs. "Yes sir, with three years experience!"


    She replied only to be pulled up suddenly from the seat in his arms. He pulled her close locking his arm around her waist while he ran the thumb of his other hand on the corner of her lips. "Nah! I am sure you are lying because¡ª you are too hot to be a boring accountant!"

    Kelly, was a simple chartered accountant with baggy jeans and loose top who loved her job and boyfriend equally.


    It was just a boring typical lovestory with typical dates, typical late night talks with a perfect guy who cared for her like his second skin. She was happy until the badass billionaire Emmett Li, her boy friend''s inspiration entered her life as her boss.

 Chapter 2 - 1. Kelly Hos simple life

    The new morning''s warm sun rays kissed her skin. They were peeking inside her room through the open windows and fell right on her face. She squirmed in her sleep, looking sleepy. "Mummyyy, close these windows. Pleaseeee" She screamed loudly, with her eyes still closed.


    Her head dug in the pillow while she turned on her stomach trying to avoid the rays of the sun. "Mummyyyyyy" her noise echoed in her bedroom.


    Loud steps of someone''s walk resonated in the mid air while the girl continued to scream for her mother in her sleep. "What is wrong with you, Kelly Ho. Why are you screaming?" her mother''s jaw fell realizing that her daughter was still in the bed sleeping.


    She was a beautiful woman looking cute with a small nose, big brown eyes and dark pink lips with wrinkles on them. Her appearance was pleasing. She was in her mid forties. Miss Ann Ho, was a widow living in her husband''s apartment that he left behind for her.


    She was a great mother of two. Kelly Ho, her elder daughter and Casey Ho, her younger daughter. And as for now her elder daughter was being a pain in her ?ss.


    She''s always been one.


    "Ma, close the windows. The sun light is hurting my sleep!" Kelly ho exclaimed hiding her head under a pillow and kicked her legs in the air.


    Looking at her behaviour Miss Ann Ho, her mother flared her nose before in anger. She was pissed off. Her daughter was always like this, irritating and stupid. But no one can refuse, she was still the most beautiful woman anyone can ever find.


    Any ways, her mother su?k?d in a deep breath while marching towards her bed. She pulled her sleeves up above her forearm and with a strong pull, she pulled out Kelly''s blanket from her body and said, "Get up Kelly ho, you have an interview today? Forgot it or what." No sooner her mother spoke that than Kelly Ho quickly sat straight on the bed.


    Her eyes widened and mouth fell open hearing her mama''s words as the realization dawned over her. Yes, today was her interview with the most famous and wanted bachelor, Emmet Li. The CEO billionaire of the Li enterprises.


    "Fuck!! How can I forget about it!" Kelly swore forgetting that her mother was standing right beside her.


    She got a hard blow on her shoulder from her mother and hissed in pain. "Ouchhh, sorry" she apologized realizing that her mother heard her words and also gave her the punishment for that. "Now go and get ready, I will get your breakfast ready" With that, Miss Ann ho retreated back to resume her work in the kitchen.


    While on the other hand, Kelly moved inside the wash room with a pair of black trousers and a top.


    She switched on the shower and stood under it with her head facing the shower. Just as the drops of cold water landed on her body, she let out a satisfying cry and closed her eyes. The passing days of going summers were severe and torturing. Every drop of water made her giggle and smile.


    That was not the only reason what made her smile. But there were plenty of other reasons too.


    Kelly ho was a simple woman with the most innocent brown eyes and pink soft lips. She was often complimented for having golden long hair that ended above her waist. She was the only girl in the college to have that much long hair and also received an award for having the most beautiful hair.


    Correction... She was a twenty five years old fair woman who loved her boring and good for nothing life.


    Yeah, having born a beauty with brains was not a reward though. She was yet the stupid girl who was easily wooed by a guy who hardly deserved her, he was Eric Mo, her boyfriend.


    Forget that, she loved him so much that every time anyone said anything wrong about him, she fought with them. Her trust in him was blind.


    Kelly came out of the wash room drying her hair with the towel. She can use the hair dryer but since the summers were too brutal, she preferred leaving her hair wet.


    Once she was done applying minimal make up, her eyes turned to gaze at the clock for the time. She gasped, putting a palm on her lips and ran out of her room. "I am late, I am late, I am lateeee!" she shouted.


    Her younger sister was having her breakfast on the breakfast table. She looked like the small version of her sister. However, they had something which was uncommon¡ª their behaviour. If Kelly was a sweet innocent girl who can be fooled by anyone then, Casey Ho was totally opposite of her. She was the fire of hell which can burn anyone.


    She was dressed in her school uniform seemingly getting ready to leave for the school. "Anything wrong with you, sister?" she inquired seeing how nervous her sister looked.


    "Yeah, I have an interview today, and I am already late" Kelly replied sitting on the table next to her younger sister. "Get my breakfast, Ma" she spoke peeping inside the kitchen.


    "Oh Kelly, you are so naive. It is okay, everyone gets late. You can apologize to your interviewee" Casey said as a matter of fact.


    But what she did not know was that, "NO no, you are taking me wrong. I mean I am actually on time but Eric is waiting for me near the bus stop. I had promised him to go to my first interview with him" Kelly nervously disclosed only to get a pissed off look from her sister, as expected.


    "I should have known that! Otherwise, why will an obedient girl like you get late... That too on her first ever freaking interview!" Casey kind of mocked her sister.


    Well that was the cause behind her sour words. Casey hated her boyfriend Eric. She never liked him since she believed that her sister deserved a much better guy than him.


    He was rich but a jerk who pretended to be the honest and loyal boyfriend to her sister. He was a jerk who was just playing with Kelly''s feelings. But Kelly never doubted him, nor she trusted her sister Casey when she disclosed to her that she saw Eric with a girl, kissing.


    **It happened some three months ago,


    Casey was returning home after her school time was over. She had just crossed a few yards and reached a construction site, when her ears welcomed some unusual sound. It was of a girl screaming, ''Aahh ugh, Eric faster! Faster!!''


    She was not any little girl who does not know when a woman screamed those words! Casey was freaking seventeen years old.


    Nevertheless, she was worried when she heard the increasing screams while the woman cried out loud. Casey was scared hearing her screams. She ?ssumed that someone was getting r?p?d and decided to go and help the girl.


    After finding a bamboo stick as a weapon to defend herself and the girl when Casey walked towards the source of the noise, she was stunned to see what her eyes noticed. "Huh, Eric Mo!!!" it was Eric, her sister''s boyfriend. And he was there standing n?k?d with a girl on the hood of his car.


    Right after having witnessed a disturbing scene, as soon as she reached home she told her sister Kelly the entire scenario. But unexpectedly, Kelly did not believe her**.


    "Casey, I know you don''t like him. But trust me, he is a good guy! Meet him once in person, you will love him" Kelly put a palm on her hand and gave it a squeeze.


    She wanted her younger sister to like her boyfriend. Like him as a big brother but no, after that day all Casey did was, curse and abuse him. He deserved that after all!


    "I just want you to be happy, Kell! And I know that guy will never keep you happy. Please open your eyes and see his real face." Casey sounded concerned.


    Their mother appeared and the two girls flashed a smile behaving as if nothing happened. "What were you two taking!" Miss Ann ho asked her daughters as she joined them on the table.


    "Nothing, we were just discussing about some random stuff" Casey smiled at their mother. She had not told her anything about Eric and that day.


    "Okay, come let''s begin," Miss Ann said, serving the breakfast to the two girls.


    However, Casey was not pleased. She looked at her sister from the corner of her eyes and prayed,


    ''Oh lord, please bring a good guy in Kelly''s life. That Eric is not a good choice. Please do something that makes Eric go away from my sister''s life. Please!''


    To say the least, her prayer was already going to be granted soon.

 Chapter 3 - 2. Hurt sister, you need to like him!

    When you decide to hate someone with all your heart, it happens instantly and strongly. No reason is required to hate that person anymore.


    For Casey something of the same sort had happened after she set her eyes on the black bike standing before their Colony and Eric Mo who was leaning his elbow on it and scrolling through his phone.


    He was no doubts, a handsome guy with appealing height, black spiky hair and dark green eyes. There was a dimple on his left cheek which made him look cute when he smiled.


    Probably that was the reason why Kelly Ho fell for him!


    Not all the boys these days have dimples.


    Any ways, Casey and Kelly who just came out of the colony together were greeted by Eric Mo. He quickly placed the phone inside his jeans pocket and approached the two ladies walking towards him.


    Casey was not ready to greet him but her dear sister insisted her in the elevator few minutes ago, to meet him nicely just for once. Her blinking lashes melted Casey''s intact heart and so, she agreed to see him on her sister''s request even though her mind was against it.


    It was just for the sake of Kelly''s happiness.


    "Eh hi, Casey. You are looking beautiful!" Eric remarked, he encircled his right arm around Kelly''s waist and pulled her close such that she was sticking to his body like his clothes.


    Kelly smiled feeling shy across her sister as she knew how much she hated him. The way he kissed her on the hair and waved at Casey, Kelly bit her lips in fear that her younger sister won''t burst out her frustration for whatever she saw that day.


    Although there was no reality in it but still, Kelly feared that her sister might spill the beans and disregard her deary boyfriend.


    Alas, nothing of that sort happened!


    Her fear died within her mind only when Kelly saw her sister passing here boyfriend a smile and waving at him while she thanked him slowly. "Thank you, Eric" nevertheless, she grumbled while chipping his name and here Kelly''s heart beats increased realizing that her sister really did not like herself being called ''beautiful'' by Eric.


    She bit her lips nervously as her eyes pleaded Casey to not do anything wrong.


    On the other hand, poor Casey sarcastically laughed in the corner of her mind, mentally as she saw her sister pleading her with her gaze.


    From when did they become so formal across strangers? And how on earth can Kelly not trust her younger sister?


    They were more like best friends than sisters before this dumb fu?k Eric Mo came to her life. He just changed everything. Changed everything so badly that now Kelly had to plead her sisters for behaving nicely to her boyfriend.


    Tears blinked in Casey''s eye sockets as she annoyingly glared her sister. The sisters were lucky enough to not be noticed by Eric as he was busy snuggling his girlfriend, Kelly''s hair. They shared a hurtful look before Casey turned around to leave. "Excuse me, I need to leave or I will lose my bus." She spoke as she hurried away from that radius.


    "Bye, have a nice day." Eric wished her back as he still continued snuggling her hair.


    She could not breathe properly as her eyes watched how her younger sister raised her hands, she must be wiping her tears!


    ''Oh Casey Ho, I am so sorry but why don''t you understand that Eric is my ideal choice! I won''t get a better guy in my life than. You always wanted me to have a guy who will love me, pamper me and take care of me like his life... See I got the guy. But looks like you don''t like him''


    Kelly ho thought feeling Eric kiss on her neck.


    She though felt uncomfortable every time he tried kissing her on the neck or anywhere else regardless, currently she was so lost in the thoughts of her sister that she could not sense him touching her on the br??sts.


    Kelly came to her senses with a strong current passing through a body. It seemed as if all the neurons of her brains charged up together in an attempt to bring her in her senses and realize what was going on!


    "Eric Mo!" Kelly pushed him away before he could slide his fingers inside her shirt and touch her b??bs.


    That is true he was an ideal man of Kelly Ho''s dream, yet she hated whenever he tried getting close to her.


    Being born a shy fish, Kelly felt extremely uncomfortable whilst sharing any private and close physical contact with him. Although she loved Eric Mo with all her heart, she believed in consummating a relationship after marriage.


    "Oh I am sorry, Kelly! I was just..." Eric looked here and there having caught red handed.


    This was not the first time he tried touching her. In fact, Kelly was that stupid girlfriend for him who trusted in sharing bed after marriage. And he being an impatient d??k, could not control himself from touching her.


    For him... THIS WAS NOT A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP!

    "I am sorry, no? I now know you have told me to do this after marriage but Kelly Ho, you are too good for me to restraint my hormones. Can''t you see, you affect me every time I see you." he spoke like a baby in order to melt her anger.


    Eric abused her in his mind since she was constantly staring him with disappointment. He so wished to slap her in the face and dump her, yet he did not do it. He have come a long way now, and there was no backing out at this point when he was so close to his target.


    "Alright, I won''t touch you again. I am sorry" he pretended to be sad and hurt. His voice faked sadness that concisely melted Kelly Ho''s heart.


    She admired his fallen face with a pout before she pulled him by his forearm. "It is okay, don''t be sad, my baby! I love you. And know that, I am all yours, but we will have to wait until we are married." she kissed him adorably on his cheek.


    Eric winked mentally as he felt her smooth soft lips on his cheek. He quickly encircled his arms around her body and pulled her close hence, feeling her delicate body within his arms.


    She was enticingly irresistible!


    "Come on let''s go, we are getting late." Kelly pulled away from the hug while her deary boyfriend growled feeling the breeze fill the gap between their bodies as she had detached herself from him. "Be quick honey, I don''t want to be late." Kelly sat on the bike, she called Eric with her hand while the other hand clutched the strap of her handbag close.


    "Let your boyfriend ride you with fun!" Eric winked talking in a double meaning language while Kelly Ho blushed.


    He quickly sat on the bike and pulled her out close such that her ?h?st was hugging his back. He felt his boner rising as her soft br??sts rubbed her back. "Fuck!!" Eric Mo inaudibly cursed before he started the engine and rode on the main road.


    Here if Kelly had left for her destination than on the other hand, someone was already stealing hearts of hundreds of women.

    The watchman quickly ran towards the car and curtsied across the car as the door flash opened. The driver who had rushed out to open the door for his boss gulped his saliva seeing the annoyed expressions on the face of his boss.


    "Leave, you are fired. Don''t you dare show me your face again, bloody moron!" Dressed in a black three piece suit, Emmett Li, the CEO of the Li enterprises howled while he removed his goggles.


    He was looking mad while his pink lips quivered in anger that he was feeling. The reason was trivial though! It is just that the driver got Emmett Li stuck in a traffic jam and brought him to the office fifteen minutes late, which was certainly not the poor guy''s problem.


    However, being the punctual CEO of the Li enterprises, Emmett Li fired the poor driver for the reason that was not even caused by him.


    Anyways, after announcing his ?ssertion, just as he pulled out the eyewear, and glared the driver with his dark grey eyes, than the female employees of his company who were standing in the lobby, held their breaths grasping like horny chicks.


    He was the most d?s?r?d bachelor of the city after all!

 Chapter 4 - 3. CEO Lis messed up love life

    Emmett Li''s boots thuddingly hit the polished white digital tiles under his feet as he angrily marched to and fro in the room of his mahogany cabin looking frustrated. His eyes oozed aggression while he kicked everything that came in the way.


    Be it the fallen calendar of his desk or for that matter the paper weight that he dropped on the floor, he kicked them with ferocity. Just by the look of his face it was adamant that something has hurt his ego.


    Emmett Li sat on the cr¨¨me colored sofa located in the left of his big plush cabin, he bit his nails getting lost in his thoughts. "Who the fu?k is she to reject me, damn it? I swear I will sue that bitch" he muttered under a deep breath.


    "Whom will you sue my dear friend!" Emmett upped his face from his nails to look at the entrance door of his cabin, there his buddy entered looking extremely happy. "Don''t tell me it is Rachel?" he snapped taking the seat next to Emmett on the couch.


    "Just Leave me alone Peter, I am really mad at the moment. And if you do not want me to effuse my anger on you just walk out of my cabin at once" Emmett remarked looking at his friend with narrowed eyes.


    Peter only laughed as he sat folding his left leg over the right one. "Oh really!" he took out a packet of cigarette and lighted it with a lighter.


    The two handsome looking guys stared each other and burst into laughter like crazy. They were childhood friends who shared all the problems and secrets together.


    Not only was Peter a handsome looking guy with golden neck length hair and dark brown Sable eyes, he also had a good masculine body that he built with hard efforts in the gym.


    He was though heart dropping gorgeous yet Emmett Li defeated him with few percent as he was way more handsome looking with dimples on his both cheek and mole right below his lower lip in the left corner.


    Peter inhaled few breaths of the smoking cigarette before he passed it to his angry friend. "Now enlighten me with the information please, why did you fire the poor driver out?" Peter questioned, he took back the cigarette from Emmett and inhaled his share of smoke from the same.


    Emmett looked down, the disappointment that Peter had managed to wipe away from his face had come back again. He awfully howled while taking out his coat, the only act made Peter raise his eyes. He rolled his pupils with a teasing cough. "Ugh don''t be so naughty Emmett, I am straight!" Peter playfully said and Emmett''s mouth hung in bewilderment.


    He playfully hit Peter on the shoulder as he snapped, "I am straight as well. So stop being so funny, there is nothing to be ashamed of seeing me like this" Emmett replied.


    He sat quietly whilst resting his back on the couch behind, his eyes looked at the fallen object which he purposely kicked and threw on the floor as he begun. "I caught Rachel cheating on me with one of her bastard friend. What is his name, uh yeah... Eric. Eric Mo" Emmett said, Peter of the other hand silently eyed his friend''s face while he spoke.


    "It happened in her flat, I have had gone to see her after the mid night online conference with Korean clients. Since I had an extra key of her place and that is why I thought to give her a surprise but that bitch, she was enjoying boob job!" Emmett sounded really pissed off.


    It was not that he had loved Rachel with his heart, Emmett Li could rather get any woman he wanted from the city, but he was angry because that woman dared to cheat him, Emmett Li, the most d?s?r?d guy of the city. With whom the country''s mayor was ready to get his daughter hitched with!


    It was like a slap of his face when he walked on Rachel, his bitch girlfriend.


    "I could not see the guy''s face clearly as the lights were dim and my entire focus was on Rachel. And by the time I was busy charging her with my exasperation, that guy took it as an opportunity and fled away. I swear I will not leave him if I ever catch him." Emmett finished, he took a breath of relief as the rock of grief that was kept on his heart broke into pebbles after he shared his sad story with his friend.


    Emmett checked his wrist watch, "What angered me the most was her attitude. I picked her up from the street and made her face, and now she was only showing me her fu?k?n? attitude, I swear I just felt like giving her slap in the face. She freaking tagged me a mother fu?ker!" he grumbled recalling her words again and again.


    Any ways, Peter smashed the cigarette on the cigarettes'' smashing box and nodded his head as if he understood everything his friend sad. The AC was set on room temperature, its cool breeze made him long hair ripple.


    "Did you love her?" Emmett shockingly stared his friend while he asked him this question.


    Emmett let it out a sarcastic laugh as if hid dear friend cracked a joke. "Obviously, not!" He exclaimed raising his both the arms out in the air.


    "Then why do you care about it! Just give her a shitty wave and move on." Peter said with a low sigh as Emmett''s intrigued eyes blankly gazed him. "Bro, you don''t have shortage of chicks in your life, just get a new girlfriend and show that bitch who you are and what she actually lost!" He added further.


    "I will definitely do that but before that, I will sue that bastard Eric Mo, Rachel was jumping with courage only because of him. She was frequently taking his name as her love life and blah blah blah, I swear I will fu?k his life!" Peter laughed, he never saw his CEO friend using such a strong and violent language during his work hours.


    This showed he was really mad and could do anything. Emmett Li was a stubborn CEO who brought his enterprise on the zenith of success by his own hard work. And if he was swearing to fu?k the life of this stranger, what''s his name, Eric Mo, yeah... Then surely it would be happening.

    The two friends sat in the couch silently, none of the two spoke. Emmett check his watch again as he broke the thread of silence, "By the way, may I know the reason of your graceful appearance in my office during the work hours?" he asked with a ???ked eye brow. "As far as I know, you never come out in the day light because of your shitty photography tasks!"


    Peter smiled, he understandingly nodded his skull while his cheeks reddened with shyness.


    He was a famous photographer of the city who shot models and celebrities for famous magazine ''Ash and Cash'' And having him coming here at this time when he should be working, Emmett can only narrow his eyes, "Oh i was indeed working until your secretary called me." Emmett''s eye lids narrowed more at the mention of his secretary.


    "Nora! Did she... Did she really call you?" CEO Li asked with daze.


    "Yeah, she told me that... That CEO Li is angry, he fired his driver and shouted on the lobby''s staff, he threw the file of the candidate whom he has to interview today, and he is now breaking things in his cabin. So please come here at once!" Peter mimicked her voice and Emmett laughed.


    " Did she really said this all?" he inquired his friend with chuckles. "This lady, she really cares for me more than myself." Emmett praised his secretary, Nora.


    Hearing her name from his mouth, something wild strike Peter''s head, and he announced, "Bro, why don''t you propose her! She is cute and beautiful. Just like your cabin and meetings, she will handle all your stupid ex-girlfriends!" The idea was not bad however it could not get a green signal from Emmett.


    He was about to say something when the landline on his desk rang, Emmett held the receiver and heard his secretary speak, "Good morning, sir! This is to remind you that the interview for the Chartered Accountant will be starting within fifteen minutes in your cabin, do tell me when you are ready then I will send the candidate one by one. Thank you, have a good day ahead"


    Nora said in a go leaving her CEO boss smile to himself. "Was she... Was she Nora?" Peter joined Emmett, he held Emmett by the shoulders and evilly snapped, "What did she say? Don''t tell me she proposed you!" With that being said Peter quickly ran for his life and soon he was out of the door of his cabin, he was gone.


    Emmett chuckled when his friend reappeared on the door and said, "Interview for Chartered Accountant! Hmm, if you find a hot chick, do hire her. Who knows if she becomes your source of joy for coming days!" Peter explained before he finally walked away and Emmett shook his head over his friend''s words.


    "Scum bag!" Emmett cursed him alas, he did not know that whatever his friend just said was going to be true!

 Chapter 5 - 4. My girlfriend wants to work for Emmett Li

    Eric''s bike stopped before the building if Li enterprises, he made the bike stand while Kelly hopped down if it. "Thank you, now wish me luck before I go" She smiled seeing her adorably handsome boyfriend take off his helmet.


    Eric straightened his hair that has covered his forehead as his eyes widened watching the initials ''LE'' of Li Enterprises shining in the yellow sun. Dumbstruck looking at the compound beyond the iron gates of the head office of the Li enterprises, Eric''s mouth hung open in shock.


    He stared Kelly''s face then at the initials of Li Enterprises alternatively while his open mouth invited flies.


    That was a slang though!


    Any ways, Kelly chuckled seeing the awestruck expressions of her boyfriend and upped her palm in order to close his mouth. She brought her four fingers under his chin and made his jaw come together while his mouth shut with his lips sealing together.


    She raised of her brows whilst asking her boyfriend the reason behind his dazed looks. Eric only scratched his head before he chipped in a shocked tone, "You... You came here for an... An interview??? In the Li''s enterprises!!! " It was needed to mention that he was fumbling in shock as his entire face looked like a big question mark.


    "Yeah! Any problem?" asked Kelly, she follows his gaze gawking at the golden initials on the top of the building over a big crown that was shining in the sunlight. "Wow! Isn''t it beautiful." she expressed her feelings while Eric blinked his eyes several times.


    "Uh you sure?" he asked her, his expressions looked totally scared ones and weird.


    Kelly scrunched her brows in suspect while Eric looked here and there. He was hiding something, it was written all over his face.


    "Yeah, do you have something to say?" Kelly asked, poor she, she can''t even see the evil on his face as he looked here and there in order to not match gaze with her.


    "Oh I think it''s time to go! Wish me luck!" she kissed him on the cheek.

    Emmett Li was talking on his cell phone to some clients. "Yes, oh don''t you worry Mr. Watson. The raw material will be supplied to you by the next week...." He was standing facing the big window of his cabin.


    Emmett Li looked down on the road across his office building and stopped speaking all of a sudden as his eyes caught a girl kissing a guy on the cheek. "Yeah... I.. I get your words Mr. Watson" He absent mindedly replied to the call, his mind was totally focusing on the scene happening on the road before his building.


    For a moment Emmett''s lips curved into a smile, he saw that girl missing the guy sitting on the bike again, this time the kiss was given on his forehead and the guy smiled.


    "CEO Li, are you there on the call!!"


    Emmett cannot hear the voice of his client on the call as his entire concentration was distracted by the couple standing near his head office. "Turn around... Turn around!! Turn around"


    "CEO Li, are you okay? Where should I turn around?"


    "Turn around for once! Let me see your face girl!" Emmett can''t hear the voice of Mr. Watson rather he crossed his fingers as his heart died in curiosity to see the girl standing before that guy on the road.


    She was in formal, white shirt with black trousers. It made her back view look quite seducing however Emmett gritted his teeth as she was not turning around. "CEO Li? Are you there on the call?" Said in a worried tone, Mr. Watson spoke a little bit loud on the speaker of the phone which eventually ripped Emmett Li''s gaze from the couple standing on the road.


    "Oh yes, I am there. Sorry, I was just zoned out, please continue." Emmett turned around and walked over to his desk and sat there while his secretary was Nora placed the file of resumes of the candidates who were about to come in his cabin after five minutes for the interview of chartered accountant.

    Eric forced a smile, he was still lost in his thoughts but when Kelly''s soft lips kissed his cheek and forehead one by one, he concisely came out of his thoughts and smiled at her.


    The expressions of his face did not change even for a bit. "Bye, best of luck. I will be waiting here for you. I love you." he wished her with half heart as Kelly sprinted near the iron gates.


    Eric saw her showing a letter to the security guard standing on the gate. She signed and wrote the reason of visiting the Li''s head office in the record register. She turned around to wave at Eric prior to entering the office building with the smile.


    Within no time she was out of sight. Eric let out a nervous sigh as at the same time he pulled out his cell phone from his pocket of jeans. He dialled the number saved as, ''Rach'' and brought the phone near his ear.


    Something was wrong about his looks, he parked bike at the side across the wall adjacent to the gates with other two wheelers and sat on a scooty next to his KTM, "hello!" with just the end of third ring the phone was picked up and a female voice answered.


    "Rachel!" Eric repeated her name as if he was making sure that the owner of the voice was Rachel only.


    "Yeah, that''s me, Eric. What''s up" She sounded tired.


    Eric rubbed his temple as he replied, "Oh no babe, there is a problem!" he snapped in a worried tone.


    "What, don''t tell me you got into a problem" Rachel said on the other end of the call.


    Eric shook his head while he replied, "No, that is not the issue. You remember I have told you the last night that I have to go with my girlfriend to her first interview."


    "Yes, what''s with that. And what do I have to do with your girlfriend!" she talked lazy.


    "Fuck you Rach... Just keep your morning wh?n?s aside and listen to me." he literally shouted. "Actually my girlfriend Kelly, she came to Li enterprises for the interview."


    No sooner he said that than Rachel screamed on top of her lungs on the other side of the call in shock. "What!!"


    "Yeah, and I am scared if Emmett Li finds out that she is related to me. He will sue me if he finds out that I am her boyfriend!" Eric worriedly said.


    The two talked more about the interview thing and about the incident of the last night where Emmett walked out on his girlfriend cheating him with another guy. And that guy was Eric Mo. Yep, he was with Emmet Li''s disgusting girlfriend in the bed last night.


    "Calm down, Eric. Just calm down" Rachel snapped out of nowhere. "Why are we feeling so scared?"


    "What do you mean?" asked Eric.


    "I mean to say, you escaped the room before he saw you with me. So chill, he had not seen your face. And if you ever get to meet him, just pretend like you met him for the first time" Rachel suggested.


    This brought a smile of relief on Eric''s lips, he scratched his head with an evil smirk. "You are so clever bitch! No wonder why you could trap Emmett Li in your web!" Eric praised her.


    "By the way honey, I miss you. Can you make to my apartment right now!" Naughtiness played amidst Rachel''s words, she seductively said on the phone.


    Eric here, he rubbed his groin over the fabric of his jeans and smiled, "I can but I will have to leave you within thirty minutes, I have to pick my girlfriend after the interview, you see" he said transferring the call over his Bluetooth while he wore his helmet getting ready to leave for Rachel.

 Chapter 6 - 5. First encounter

    "Submit a copy of your resume to the receptionist outside, we will call you." CEO Emmett said in a weary tone.


    It was just fifth candidate from the lost of thirty applicants that was placed on the desk in front of him, and already he lost all his energy.


    "Sure sir, I will be selected, no?" The guy asked as he got up from the seat. He accumulated his file while CEO Emmett Li shook his head in a small nod. "Okay sir, I will wait for your call, sir. Thank you sir." The guy wished him going near the door of his cabin.


    As he closed the door after him, Emmett Li grunted. The first five candidates su?k?d all his brains with his inexperienced answers. He had God damn given it in the advertisement that the candidates needs to have at least some knowledge as a fresher, if not experience as a professional.


    But to his surprise, the ones who came for interview so far were only fresher who just passed their CA exams and directly came for grabbing the interview.


    "My head!" Emmett Li put his head down on the desk and pressed the bell placed beside him near his ??ptop.


    It was the bell for alerting his secretary so that she can send the next candidate for the interview.


    Emmett Li heard the knock coming on his cabin''s door. "Come in." he ordered not looking up at the candidate who walked in.


    "Good to meet you, sir!" Emmett Li shrunk his eye brows hearing to an extremely sweet voice.


    "Please have a seat" he upped his head from his arms and looked at his ??ptop in the CCTV footage of the canteen area.


    His employees were pain in his ?ss. They spent most of their time out of their cubical. Gossiping about each other''s relationships and sipping freely available coffee in his firm has become their normal routine. And just to keep an eye on them he have to look in the CCTV footages and keep a track of their activities.


    "So, Miss. Kelly Ho" Eric looked at the next set of resume of three pages on his desk.

    Kelly Ho gulped her saliva in nervousness as the CEO took her name from his lips. It sounded like a prince has addressed her. "Y-yes sir, that is me" Kelly replied locking the strand of her hair that were irritating her.


    She had left her hair open, and they were floating in the air as the breeze of air conditioner directly fell on her since the wings of the same were moved towards the CEO''s desk.


    Her eyes never left the sight of his face while he was busy looking at her resume. He never looked up at her face and it was scaring her more.


    Nevertheless, even in this nervousing situation Kelly noticed how perfectly his lips pressed together as his eyes concentrated in reading her details mentioned in her resume. He was perfect. So the pictures in the newspaper were not false or created. He literally looked like a dummy with extra ordinarily handsome looks.


    Perfect jawline of his cheeks were clearly visible to Kelly while he licked and chewed his lips reading her provides CV. His lashes were big too whereas his jet black hair were amazingly gelled and made into a professional hair style that suited him.


    Kelly slightly inched her face upwards looking at his broad shoulders and pink lips. They were pinker than her own lips and were wet due to his ???k?n?. She was staring them only with utmost concentration when CEO Li shot his eyes up from the resume and caught her staring in the direction of lips and grasped while Kelly''s eyes widened since she was caught!

    Emmett Li''s eyes were left open and fingers stilled around the edge of the sheets of her curricular vitae. He was taken aback looking at the girl sitting in front of him. For a moment his breaths just stuck in his throat looking at her gorgeous face.


    "Are... You... Kelly Ho?" Asked he, while emphasizing on every word he spoke.


    Kelly on the other hand nodded her head vigorously in yes as their eyes bore into each other''s.


    Her waving hair in the free air made her look beautiful. She from time to time tucked her hair strands behind her ears while her bottom lip was pressed between her front teeth. She was chewing them nervously and Emmett Li found it¡ª quite interesting.


    His eyes went down to her neck and then at her rising and falling br??sts. Although she looked skinny from her face nevertheless his breath once again stuck in his throat seeing how curved and full her br??sts were. All in all she had a perfect body.


    "Woah, I am impressed by your appearance!" Absent mindedly just as CEO Li exclaimed, Kelly raised her eyes brows straitening her collars.


    "Pardon" she uncomfortably asked and looked down at his fingers that were now playing with the paper weight.

 Chapter 7 - 6. CEO Emmetts evil thoughts

    Kelly Ho clutched her legs together and crossed them feeling uneasy under his gaze. He was amazingly charming yet something about his ''that gaze'' was different. She had to pull her collars together again and again to hide her visible skin as he continuously eyed her there.


    She cannot understand why was he staring her like that!


    Was not her clothes properly ironed and clean?


    Were not her appearance nice?


    Then why was he looking at her like that.


    "Uh I mean, you presented yourself very well, Miss. Ho." She forced a smile watching him flip the pages of her resume.


    Kelly Ho''s eyes stilled at his wrist, mostly on the Rolex watch that was glistening in the light. It was on fact of platinum, one of the most popular and widely expensive metal that too of the biggest watch company.


    She soon forgot her uneasiness under him when she decided to take a close look at his own appearance.


    Well no doubts, he looked exactly like the pictures of his that she has seen in magazines and paper. He looked like he came out of the magazine''s front page and started interviewing her.


    There was no mark, no acne on his face nor were there any dark circles under his eyes or creases on his forehead like any other CEO. He seemed calmed and composed as though he did not care about the market''s fluctuating trends and the rising competition out there.


    Kelly Ho remembered the day when she has decided to try her luck in Li''s enterprises, the biggest racing car producing company. This business was not only limited to producing new models of racing car but Emmett Li''s corporations also worked for providing raw materials for making personalized cars and tractors. Li''s enterprises have become the largest supplier of raw materials in entire Venice.


    And he have also created a kind of monopoly for his enterprises that produced the best cars for the racers and provided branded raw materials for export for other vehicles.


    All in all, Emmett Li has decided to become Venice''s number one entrepreneur and shareholder in the coming time.


    "Miss. Kelly, may I know what kind of experience you have as I can see you just passed your exams and secured the first place in your university." Kelly was snapped from her thought process by CEO''s question.


    She literally trembled in the chair hence making the tyres under the movable chair creek that Emmett Li looked up at her with a quizzical face." oh I am sorry.." being nervous and scared under his gaze, Kelly sat straight. "Apart from pursuing my degree I worked for a small scale footwear producing company for three years as their accountant. Yeah, the work was not as much as i might get to do here as a CA, but there I did my job single handedly." He smiled listening to that.

    Emmett Li looked down at her resume again, though it was clearly writer over there, under the section of experience that she worked for a footwear company as their only accountant, yet he happened to ask her.


    And that was all because he recognized her clothes, Kelly Ho was none other than that girl whom Emmett Li just saw on the road outside his building kissing a guy on the cheek, perhaps her boyfriend!


    ''She is really hot! I wonder how does her boy friend woo her as she seems, uh quite clever and innocent at the same time!''


    Emmett Li wondered looking at her moving lips while Kelly Ho.


    "Okay, I get you. So it was ''CakeWalk'' company for whom you worked. I see." Emmett Li read the name of the company however, he have soon forgotten that he was interviewing her.


    Kelly has successfully managed to distract him and Emmett Li can''t help but want to flirt to her. Alas, since he was on his duty as a CEO and not the playboy from the night life at the time, he was bound to sit intact in his seat.


    "Yes Sir." Kelly ho replied.


    Emmett nodded his head with expressions as if he was thinking something deeply. "Well if I recall the doomsday of cakewalk company then, I remember they were bankrupted. And I am to look at you as a professional than your professional background is not good because you belong to a company that had a very bad end." Any ways, Emmett Li managed to keep aside his hormones and act like a CEO.


    "Could it be that after I hire you, I go through the same end! As you see, cakewalk was a rising company in the footwear industry. Or don''t you think it is just better that I hire someone to else in your place with a clean background." no sooner he said that, than Kelly Ho''s eyes widened in shock and heart beats increased.


    Emmett Li smirked mentally seeing her changed expressions, while on the contrary he enjoyed the way she fretted listening those words.


    ''Oh, how can someone be so cute! Obviously, she is the best candidate I came across so far. There is no chance I will not hire her even if I find someone better. But I love her expressions, does she always give those wide eyed looks. She is so damn expressive!''


    Thought Emmett Li waiting for her response.


    One thing was clear, he have found his new source of entertainment!

 Chapter 8 - 7. The touch of her skin was— magical!

    Kelly Ho''s lips sealed tight together, she stared in his eyes those were unfathomably looking back at her. She was already nervous after sitting across the biggest businessman and the well known CEO of Venice and his questions took her breaths away.


    He was right, cakewalk had a bad end yet it was not her mistake. The owners would do as their hearts pleased and brought the company on the position of winding up. As an accountant she could do nothing more other than advising them to reduce their drawings of money from the company''s revenue for personal use and provide a list consequences that could hit them.


    She did what she was best at but if the company did not survive, why was it her problem?


    Kelly Ho cut her gaze from his face and looked at his fingers. He was now playing with a pen while his fingers of other hands trailed circles on the sheets of her resume. She was totally blank as to how to reply back. Her one wrong usage of word could add up to the negative points and she could lose this opportunity.


    "Uh, sir you know quite a lot about the company, I am sure you also be knowing about the behaviour and deeds of the owners and managers of cakewalk. They were brute and listened to nobody. Every month when I closed the books of accounts, I I found that mostly the company''s revenue was withdrawn for personal use, it was not even clearly defined why. And as an accountant I could not do anything more than giving them warnings." Kelly spoke the truth.


    Emmett was impressed, she was though nervous still she answered all his questions with true information. He can see her getting some confidence playing in her voice. "You are calling your old employer, a brute? Now don''t you think it could act against your application." another bomb was thrown on her.


    Kelly chewed her lips wishing to take back her words. She looked in his eyes with fear and inhaled a deep breath. Here, she cannot answer him anything in return. "Uh, I..." Kelly struggled with her words.


    She looked at the big clock with a pendulum and sighed. It has been thirty minutes and the interview was not yet over. The time was not the problem as she had plenty but the fact that her boyfriend, Eric Mo was waiting down for her, she grew more nervous as he may end up shouting on her.


    "Alright, Miss. Ho, your interview overs here. Mind dropping your contact number at the reception, we will update you by tomorrow." Kelly nodded and got up. "Uh, take this resume and submit it to the reception too."

    Emmett Li purposely asked her as he was hoping to get a reply in return. He wanted to see whether like previous candidates would she insist him for considering her for the post!


    Nothing ad such happened and Kelly ho simply forwarded her hand to take her resume. Her fingers brushed with his fingers and a light current rushed through her body. Emmett Li incredulously saw the change of expressions in her face and smiled.


    He was equally affected by the touch as her. The touch of her skin was enticingly magical.


    "I am.. I am sorry" she apologized for the deliberate contact of their fingers and bowed down to him.


    "I will take your leave, have a good day ahead!" Emmett nodded his head to her greetings and saw how she was out of his cabin with a fraction of second.


    The air around him cooled up again and the fluttering arisen in his stomach stopped. "She is interesting!" Emmett Li exclaimed.


    He kept staring at the door don''t know for how long that he failed to notice that the land line was ringing. He grunted coming out of his trance picked up the call. "What?" he knew it was Nora, his secretary, must have called him to inquire whether to send the next candidate or not.


    "Uh I am sorry sir, but you did not press the bell for the next applicant, so I... Called to ask you..." She paused hearing the heavy breathing on the end of the call as Emmett Li was pissed off.


    He wanted to snap at her for ruining her thoughts but he suppressed his rage. Emmett Li took a deep breath and answered after a long pause, "Shove all the candidates waiting outside Nora, I have selected the CA for the company. And postpone all the meetings for today." He ordered and disconnected the call. He rested the reciever back in its place while he himself got up to leave.

 Chapter 9 - 8. Is CEO Li spying on her?

    When you need something urgently, it is ?ssured to never come to you in time. But when you have let go of the hopes and decided to move on, the same thing comes striking towards, you even if you don''t want it.


    Well poor Kelly Ho could relate to this paragraph as her life seemed exactly based on this today. The bills of water supply, electricity and the food lent from the super store was pending and here she could not get the job which was her only job.


    Every single penny that she could earn was appreciable at the moment as everything needed to be utilized with care at the moment. Alas, life was again mocking poor soul. Kelly Ho inhaled the fresh air in the lobby of Li enterprises, she hugged her file of her degrees and aimlessly walked ahead as if there was no ambitions left to work for.


    She had that tinge of disappointment entertaining her face amidst her other emotions that showed she was extremely sad and wanted to mourn over the opportunity that slipped from her hands.


    "Why do I have to struggle all the time? Tell me, lord. In school, in high school, junior college then even during my graduation and post graduation, I had to go through a alot and suffer extremely. And now when I thought my hard work is going to pay me, I am again betrayed by life! Why does this always happen to me."


    Her face was looking up in the sky as Kelly Ho walked further outside the lobby into the campus. Her walk was usually slow, it felt like she was tired and dragging her steps further to make a walk was a difficult job.


    "I never drunk, never consumed cigarettes, never took drugs, never had any bad wild fantasies yet I have to face this why? I never indulged myself in any illegal activity that was against your like then why do you still make me suffer?"


    Kelly Ho''s eyes tore up. Tears glistened in her eyes like the water drops do on diamond. Her little nose turned red and cheeks swell up like she had held air in her mouth. Her eyes, though never shed a tear so far, they still looked so dark red as though she had been crying for nights.


    Life was really miserable. The more she was trying to stand strong and powerful the harder the situations were becoming.


    However, this could not stop the delicately strong Warrior, Kelly Ho.


    She wiped her tears and su?k?d a sharp breath, she forced her lips into a smile as she bowed down to the watchman when he opened the gates for her. "Thank you" she wished him and was out while the watch man stood amused having noticed her crying face.


    Once Kelly Ho was out of his office building, she wide spread her arms and again took inhaled a large amount of air that her br??sts risen. She smiled thankfully towards the natural benefits she was given and spoke to herself with determination.


    "It was a good chance to earn in lump sum in Li''s enterprises, but I don''t care. I will try else where and I am sure, this time I will be rewarded with big gains. I trust my God and my abilities and I know he have planned something big for me."


    Saying that kelly Ho suspended her arms from the air and walked ahead in search of her boyfriend. She never looked back at the building that could be a turning point of her life but, life did look back at her in the face of Emmett Li!


    His ears burned with whatever they welcomed within past few minutes. Emmett Li was waiting for his car but he saw Kelly Ho walking aimlessly ahead and decided to exchange an informal conversation with her nevertheless, he halted in the mid ways only when he heard her murmuring something in a weak, defeated voice.


    Any ways, Emmett kept staring at the gate where she walked away from and sat inside his car instantly that was now standing in front of him. He pulled the mirrors of the car down as his car exited the territory of his office building and took a right turn.


    "Stop... Stop... Stop!!" The car came to an abrupt halt with a slight jerk when Emmett Li curiously shouted for its stop.


    The driver who was supposed to be fired today sat intact in his seat not wanting to give his boss any sort of bad impression and just abided with his words.


    And here, Emmett Li, in the backseat, blinked his eyes murmuring, "What is wrong with this girl? Sometimes she cries, sometimes she laughs and now, she is pouting! Huh." He said under his breath that was inaudible to the car driver as Emmett''s eyes gaped at Kelly Ho''s figure that was standing at the side of the road near the two wheelers parking area, pouring to herself!


    "Is she waiting for someone?" Emmett Li thought. "Could it again be that guy?" he talked to himself.


    "Uh, do one thing, just leave the car now and get me some French fries and coke from the canteen." he ordered his driver as he loosened his tie while the driver left.


    So he wishes to wait and see whom is she waiting for! When the answer is clear to himself lol.

 Chapter 10 - 9. Someones getting envious of their love!

    Kelly Ho looked around for her boyfriend. She checked all the bikes standing in queue by the side of the wall in the parking area for two wheelers but cannot see Eric Mo''s vehicle.


    "Where did he go? He promised me to wait here until I returned." Her forefinger lingered on her chin, she thought of the words her boyfriend told her.


    He had promised to stay back for her. Kelly Ho told him that she would be needing him after the interview as she was scared. And now, to her dismay there was not even a single trace of Eric Mo anywhere.


    "Oh Eric, where are you? Why did you go. I told you to wait for me. I need you." She pouted making a crying face while her heart missed her. "I hope you are okay. And you don''t have to go for an emergency!" even though the promise that was made to her was broken, she prayed for his well being.


    Alas, if only poor Kelly Ho knew that her boyfriend was cheating on her. And he left her here to herself so that he could warm bed of another woman under her nose.

    Emmett Li gulped his saliva while his gaze watched every damn move she made. From her pouting lips to annoyed red cheeks, from her clutched tight eyes to the small grunts she exhaled... He noticed everything as though she were a mouse that was under going through an experiment that was done on her, and he was the scientist.


    His pupils closely read her body language and facial features. Emmett Li''s lips curved into a smile watching how she stomped her foot on the ground like a whining kid. Her lips moved while she stomped her legs. She seemed to be angry about something.


    What was that? Emmett Li was curious to find out.


    Any ways, he saw her eyes batting together when her body leaned forward looking on both the sides of road. "Insane!" he spoke under his breath as it felt as if she were going to cross the road.


    Regardless, after few minutes of registration Emmett Li realized she was checking all the passer by bikes on the road. She was looking for some vehicle. "What is wrong with this girl!" having enough of her stupidity, that was not even his business to look concern for, Emmett Li placed aside his phone on the seat next to him while he prepared himself to exit the car.


    He was so pissed off by her actions that he cannot keep his excitement apart but go out and ask her... Ask her as to why was she behaving so weirdly!


    He bu??oned his coat and placed his hand on the handle of the door to unlock it. He twisted it and placed a leg outside, on the ground to go to her when, Emmett witnessed that I bike stopped before Kelly Ho. His legs glued to the ground, and he stared at the guy removed the helmet and sighed loudly.


    He looked¡ª exhausted. So exhausted as if¡ª he just had wild make out!


    "Ericc!" it came as a shock when Emmett Li heard Kelly Ho shout the guys name so loudly.


    She pounded on him as he balanced himself and the bike together. "Oh Eric Mo, where have you gone?" Kelly Ho clung on his shoulders hugging him tightly that the grip of his fingers on the helmet loosened and it fell on the ground.


    Emmett Li sarcastically laughed. He shook his head side wise and scratched his name while he muttered, "Eric Mo? Does her boyfriend have to have the same name as the guy who fu?k?d my brains last night! Damn, the world is so unpredictable and unreal." he looked up at the cars AC and laughed.


    "Gosh, so filmy. Her boyfriend has the same name I started hating last night. Great. So filmy." Emmett chipped again.


    Then he rolled his eyes with a grunt. Kelly Ho looked damn happy with the guy. "I am envious of him. I wish if I were in his place! But no, my love life is all fu?k?d up, duh." Emmett Li jealously uttered seeing the couple before his eyes hug and smile..


    Yet Emmet Li''s eyes intruded their personal space watching them closely even when his heart burned watching their love moments. "I feel so jealous of him, Eric Mo!" Emmett growled calling his driver. "Hello where are you?" He called his driver still staring at Kelly Ho and her boy friend.


    "Sir I am coming, just behind the car. I am here, Sir." The driver quickly gave his appearance. "Here are your snacks, sir." He handed the fries and coke to Emmett Li.


    "Drive to Peter''s studio soon¡ª before I go mad." Saying that he tossed a French fry in his mouth while the driver started the car.

 Chapter 11 - 10. Sad Kelly Ho, finally broke down

    "Where have you gone, Eric. I was looking for you." Now Kelly Ho asked the same freaking question for the hundredth time.


    They were in the middle of the road moving with other vehicles. Eric Mo had his eyes glaring on the road ahead however Kelly was pissing him off. From the time she sat with him on the bike, she kept asking the same old question with regard to his whereabouts!


    He told her it was nothing but no, timid Kelly Ho was bent of crawling the truth out of his mouth. And honestly the aggression which was building inside him, because of her continuous nagging and the heat blazing sun on the head, he almost got the truth on the tip of his tongue and with another nag from her side, he would burst.


    "Fine don''t say but i don''t know why you smell different. You scent does not sound fresh as that of the morning! I hope wherever you were, you did not mess up." Too innocent to understand why his scent suddenly smelled so different, and he looked exhausted, Kelly Ho shut her mouth.


    "You don''t want to tell me, that is fine. You have anyway started keeping too many secrets from me. But I am okay. Everything is okay. I am okay and my life is double okay!" she kind of ranted, with the end of her words Kelly Ho subsided her hands from around his waist.


    She pushed herself behind not wanting to touch his body too. "Kelly!" she looked at the plush expensive cars running on the road with them whilst avoiding his startled call for her. "Hold me, we are going to enter the tunnel, the speed will be fast. Hold me now." he sternly spoke, his voice sounding pressed and low under the helmet.


    Eric Mo grunted concentrating on the ride. He sighed deeply watching the mouth of the tunnel approaching but to his dismay, Kelly Ho continued to be an ?sshole. He let go of the bike''s handle and pulled her by the wrist close to himself. "Hold me tight." He quickly balanced the bike before they entered the tunnel.


    His eyes were blazing fire. She was growing stubborn day by day. Her action did not seem pleasant any more. Eric Mo gritted his teeth feeling her only putting her arms around his shoulder. She applied no energy in holding her tight.


    "You!" he growled but maintainer his anger when the mouth of the tunnel came in sight.


    As the tunnel''s end approached, his anger intensified. Eric Mo rode through the cars in fast speed attempting to leave the dark tunnel earlier than possible. He grunted as they reached the end of the tunnel and came out under the open sky yet again.


    "Kelly Ho!" Murmuring in his breath he parked the bike on the side of the road few metres away from the mouth of the tunnel in order to avoid issues and hopped down the bike with a grumble. "What do you think were you doing?" he held her by the elbow and pushed her in his ?h?st harshly.


    His death grip made her wince in pain. No matter what, Kelly stood quiet in front of him while her eyes lowered. She did not want to look in his eyes. "Answer me damn it! What was that for. You could have slipped out of the bike and¡ª probably died!" the last two words came out like a whisper.


    He dug his fingers in her skin making a lone tear escape her eyes. "Kelly Ho?" Startled with what he witnessed, Eric immediately freed her hand. His arms sneaked down her waist and pushed her firmly, close to himself. "Hey why are you crying! Ugh I am sorry, please don''t cry. You know I hate it when you cry like that. Kelly." He apologized alas, there was no period to her weeping.


    More than herself, she was hurt by him.


    He left her on the important day of her life. And when he returned, he was not ready to tell her about it. She was already sad for being rejected for the job. She was though struggling to feel happy and pretend like nothing happened, nevertheless he hurt her. Hurt her when she needed to him by her side.


    "Okay tell me what happened in the interview, did he select you!" Eric Mo asked realizing that her low cries have now taken the form of gigantic sobs. Her cheat went up and down while she sobbed looking on his ?h?st.


    "Did you get selected?" he asked again as he put his fore finger and thumb under her chin. Kelly Ho jerked his hand away and cried even louder than the last time.


    Eric Mo knew everything about her life. And the financial crisis that her family drowned into, after her father''s death, could never depart. They were burdened with so many things that Kelly and her mother have to work together to meet the expenses of life.


    He bit his lower lip as something pinged his heart. The red flush on her face showed she was not okay, he hated to see that but there was nothing he could. Not after leaving her for having s?x with another woman.


    Kelly Ho started doubting him a long back when delays became frequent and his eyes rolled unnecessarily. She had this feeling whatever Casey told her was correct yet her stupid her refused to trust it.


    "I am sorry, Kelly. Dad called, he wanted me to visit him in the office for some job. He had me pick up some boxes and place them in the warehouse. Don''t ask me the smell, it was horrible. I just returned from there." He lied but she hardly listened him.


    She was broken. Broken by the challenges in life, broken by the competition, broken by people''s mock and at last, broken by him.

 Chapter 12 - 11. When will she see her boyfriends true colours?

    Eric Mo grasped. He was white as chalk¡ª in shock.


    It is not like that he never saw her crying, just that the way she cried today, Eric Mo cannot take it. She looked broken. And the pallid looks on her face made something inside his body churn. "Uh Kelly, please don''t cry. I am sorry, this won''t happen again. Please, baby." His fingers itched wanting to touch her shoulder but Eric Mo was too scared to do it.


    His innocent girlfriend looked as shattered as the pieces of broken glass. She clutched her file in front of her ?h?st and hugged it tight. "Hey, I promise I will tell you everything." he gulped¡ª regretting leaving her there, for the first time.


    His eyes and his mouth were frozen wide open in an expression of stunned surprise, a pang of pain ached him as Kelly Ho appeared not to noticing him at all.


    " Take me to the bus Station, I want to go home." Eric twisted his lips while he heard her say.


    She was all calm and happy back there outside the Li Enterprises, the sudden change in her expression came after they boarded on his bike and left. "Hey, I will drop you. Why do you want to go to the bus station?" fear filled him. Eric Mo gulped his anxiety.


    Can it be that she was trying to separate herself from him coz he could not give her much time?


    Or because she learned something about his cheating?


    ''No ways, Kelly Ho Loves me. She will never want to separate. And I will not let her to. She is mine as long as I don''t get her in the bed.''


    Eric Mo thought.


    In that instant his skin became greyed, his mouth hung with lips slightly parted and his eyes were as wide as they could stretch. However, this time it was not out of worry towards her but the insecurity if she really wanted to separate.


    Eric Mo did not utter a word. He stood in his spot looking at the cars and other vehicles moving on the road after exiting the tunnel. He can very well hear her sobs and see from the corner of his eyes that she was trembling. ''How should I convince her to stay with me!'' he ruffled his hair while his mind processed in a battle of finding some creative ideas to stop her crying.


    "Fine, I will take you there. And won''t show you my face again ever. I know I am wrong, and I deserve your punishment." Kelly Ho stopped sobbing, her pupils strangely stared him. Eric Mo looked at the cars running behind him on the road while he sighed and continued. "I never knew our love is so weak. We are so weak that we cannot understand each other. It is fine with me if you want to leave me. Come on sit on the bike, I will drop you to the bus station." He faked a crying face looking here and there as if he was trying to control his tears.


    No doubts he was a good actor. So good that at least Kelly Ho, if not anyone else, could fall for his traps.


    She wiped her tears watching him with puffy eyes. "You want to leave me?" she asked in a heavy voice.


    After her dad, he was the only male in her life who gave her a sense of security. Who loved her and took care of her needs even if she refused to accept them. Her eyes twinkled with new tears while Eric stared her with a hurt face. "That is you who wants to separate." he quickly split his gaze from her face and looked away.


    Eric Mo rubbed his fore finger and thumb on his eyes like there were tears and feigned to sweep them. "I don''t. That is you who want to leave me! That is why you are talking nonsense about never showing me your face. Fine, do as you wish. Don''t show me your face." Shouting loudly, Kelly Ho beat her fists on his ?h?st and walked away from the conversation.


    Eric Mo held her wrist and pulled her behind such that she fell on his ?h?st. His arms sneaked her waist, and he forcefully joined their foreheads. "I am sorry. I was hurt. You don''t trust me" Eric Mo said, he brushed his cheek over hers and kissed near her lips lightly.


    But Kelly Ho was so mad that she plastered a slap on his face. It was a playful slap given under the effect of anger yet it landed hard on his cheek. Eric taken aback loosened his grip on her waist and stepped backwards.


    His eyes turned red in fury as he shockingly stared her!


    She dared slapping him for no cause. Exasperation got the best of him and Eric Mo prepared his hand to slap her in return. No sooner he raised her arm to return her the slap, than Kelly Ho threw herself on him and hugged him with all her strength. Her sobs rang in his ears, and she possessively hugged him¡ª unaware of what he was going to do to her!


    She kissed his neck and let her tears fall extremely. Her lips vibrated near his neck and so, Eric Mo''s anger died feeling her lips on his skin. He wrapped his hands on her waist while she confessed, "Don''t ever leave me again! I love you and I can''t stand to lose you. You are the only thing I own without any liability of paying back." Eric Mo smirked listening her words.


    "I will never. I will you equally, Kelly." Eric Mo replied and snuggled her neck.


    If only she could she her face, she could see his ?ust towards her body!


    There was nothing such as called love, but pure ?ust which Kelly Ho failed to see.

 Chapter 13 - 12. Everyones life has fun and p???sur?, except Emmett Lis!

    Emmet Li''s car stopped outside a photo studio. It was big and painted white. The area around the studio was empty and silent. Peter had purposely built his studio in a location away from the busy city so as to avoid distraction.


    The noise of the car honks, music from the resturant, chit chat of the coffee shops or for that matter the loud music in the mall, it was all he despised whenever he sat to photoshop the photos. It was a hectic work and Peter can''t focus.


    It was obvious. His stimuli always responded to the change and distraction that happened around him. It did madden him expectedly and to avoid that happening in the future, Peter built his studio in that part of Venice where the human population was zero to nowhere.


    He chose the most isolated location in Venice which was now supporting him finish his job before the dead line. Anyways, Emmett ordered the driver to take the car back. He had decided to return to the busy part of Venice with Peter in his car.


    He straightened his clothes and walked towards the narrow small door that could fit him with great difficulty. Well, Peter purposely had it made narrow. Reason, unknown. May be because he had did not want the big fat bodyguard of the magazine company''s owner for whom he worked! A narrow door won''t allow them inside and let them threat him!


    It was funny but could be true as Peter had a creative mind. And you can''t really understand what goes in his mind and when. Apart from being a photographer he was a good advisor. Almost every time he advised Emmett, it became successful.


    And that was the whole and sole reason why Emmett dragged himself here in his dark pitch black studio by suspending his remaining work. It was a important. It was about his¡ª lovelife!


    The nervousness was a bit uneasying him. There was reason to it too. Well, it was about a year ago when Peter had brought Emmett Li here to check on his studio. And the very first reaction Emmett Li gave was, "Eww! Dude you are really going to work in here! In this black hole types space. I swear I will never stumble here ever again!" It was said in a humorous way but it was true.


    Emmett Li did not like the dark room at all.


    He was a happy loving guy who loved bright rooms. Unlike those arrogant stupid and rude CEOs from the television or dramas, Emmett Li was calm and composed person who love bright day rather than dark night and smiled often unless he was mad.


    And when he was exposed to a studio room, that was dark and whole lot spacious without any furniture, he ?ssumed it more like a cellar where criminals were bought and tortured to death.


    However, destiny brought him here any way. He hated this place but had to eventually stumble here. If he had not decided to come then he had felt more than necessarily fu?k?d up!


    Never mind, that could be discussed later with his friend. Peter was a nice guy who did not take anyone''s words on his heart. He loved and hated people only for serious issues. And listening to Emmett Li''s words today, he would forget everything else for sure.


    Okay, after framing the sentences in his head and preparing everything that he was planning to disclose to him, he twisted the door knob and pushed the door inside. No sooner he did that than Emmett Li grumbled turning around, "Ohh! Emmett Li, what the fu?k are you doing in my studio?" Peter was on the distant couch in the center of his room which looked more like a shooting prop.


    He was n?k?d with the model he was probably shooting¡ª having s?x.


    And Emmett Li fu?k?n? walked in when they were close to their release. "Fuck! How can you combine your personal and professional life, Peter!" Emmett Li snapped covering his eyes.


    It was a funny moment because he had already turned around still he covered his eyes as if Peter was right in front of him. "You should have at least message me before landing in here, if not call! If not a message or call then you could at least knock. Don''t you have manner" Peter complained.


    Look who was talking about manners, the stupid guy who cannot even distinguish between his personal and professional life!

    This enraged Emmett Li and he turned around. His eyes focused only and only on Peter''s face as he snapped, "If I had known I will find you fu?k?n? your model, I would have definitely waited outside."


    "Then what are you waiting for? Go out and wait." Emmett Li''s mouth hung open over over Peter''s command.


    Regardless he was the CEO here and but Peter. He felt a ball of anger building his stomach yet Emmett Li suppressed it. "Fine, fu?k you. I will wait outside, finish it fast." Grumbling annoyingly Emmett Li loudly banged the door as he walked out of Peter''s personal space.


    "Let''s start again!" Peter hushed near the model''s ear and thrust inside her!


    While here outside the studio''s door that seperated Peter''s personal space from Emmett, CEO Li roamed in the narrow corridor here and there impatiently waiting for his friend to finish.

 Chapter 14 - 13. Strange encounter in the bus!

    Wait, the activity of waiting for somebody has its own pros and cons. And when you wait for an unnecessary reason, your entire life body burn with one emotion, that is¡ª frustration.


    "What?" Peter raised his arm from the steering wheel and gave a teasing smile to Emmett Li who sat in the seat next to him, like an offended child.


    His offence was justified though as his friend, or should he call him a horny jerk, made him wait for over thirty minutes and when he came out after the climax, he rushed Emmett Li out of his studio and driving towards the super market situated in the main city, in his car as he felt hungry and wanted something to eat.


    Emmett Li''s patience was being tested. Peter and his smile very well said, he was purposely irking him. The increasing anger within him was on the highest level and could burst any moment now. "I swear if you don''t stop smiling, I will kick your ?ss, and I mean it." Peter''s lips pursed together in a line as he quickly maintained a serious face.


    They were driving slowly, the road was empty and Peter asked many a time from Emmett Li the reason as to why he suddenly landed in his studio. He insisted, he requested, he begged and what not did he do to convince him to tell him, yet Emmett Li stayed quiet.


    He was mad at his friend.


    It was about his. He liked someone and wanted to seek help from his friend whether to give it a try or not but no, the fu?k?n? friend was more into his s?xu?? life that he can''t see the turmoil on Emmet Li''s face.


    He wanted to inform Peter about Kelly Ho and the resemblance of the name that her boyfriend has with the fu?k?n? guy who slept with his cheater girlfriend the other night. However, this guy was not ready to listen to him under a peaceful situation.


    "I am sorry, now speak. What is it that dragged you out of your office and to my studio like that! Is there something I need to know?" forgetting all the disappointment that Emmett Li showed and the way he grumbled in aggression, Peter asked him.


    Emmett Li looked directly in his eyes and growled as if he were a mad monster and Peter, like a small rat, was annoying him. "Stop the car!" He ordered splitting his eyes from his face.


    "Dude, I said I am sorry. Why don''t you just tell me what is in your head than threatening me with your eyes." Indeed, Emmett Li''s were as red as red chillies, his face looked way too aggressive by his expressions and lips quivered nonchalantly.


    How would a person in his place react! After setting aside all his work, Emmett Li visited Peter in his studio that was not even in the main city I''d Venice, but this guy, he was bent on testing his patience.


    From that thirty minutes of s?xu?? ?nt?r??urs? to these thirty minutes of driving toward the super market, Peter just wasted Emmet Li''s time than giving him any advice. "I don''t fu?k?n? want to tell you any fu?k?n? thing, just stop the car." Emmett sounded gravely pissed off.


    He fixated his eyes on Peter''s face, trying to control his d?s?r? of punching him in the face and let out throaty growl. Emmett had had enough of his friend, he placed his foot on the brakes and the car came to a jerky halt.


    Peter almost fell on the steering wheel while Emmett Li prevented himself from hitting the windscreen. "I swear, you committed your life''s biggest mistake by messing up with me!" With the snap of his disappointment, Emmett Li opened the door of the car and walked out while Peter kept shouting on the back.


    "Hey, Emmett, buddy what is wrong! Come back here. How will you go home from here? There are no vehicles available, you would be stuck." Emmett Li rolled his eyes, he bu??oned his coat and walked further, totally avoiding Peter''s words.


    ''I would rather crawl back to my mansion that taking your help, bitch.'' He balled while murmuring in his breath.

    An hour passed and Emmett Li stretched his tired body. He got down in the middle of the high way that led to the main city of Venice, and that is why, he had to walk all the way alone from the main road to the main city.


    Peter did come behind him, following him for almost fifteen minutes, but Emmett Li''s head was on fire. He can take anything but Peter''s help. Not now any more.


    ''I just wanted to share about Kelly Ho and her boyfriend. And if possible, wanted to ask him if it was right to intrude her love life, she was fu?k?n? cute. I liked her rants. But that bastard, he annoyed me twice in row. And after that, he expected me to take his help, my foot.''


    Emmett Li sighed.


    He had his phone, there was network and data too. Yet he preferred to walk then calling his driver with a car. He was just a dial away from getting his own vehicle.


    ''I have wealth, looks, ample of beautiful women in life, yet I feel incomplete! What is this. Why can''t I feel a bit happy. Why do I feel so touched by Kelly Ho''s appearance in my life? And why did I feel envious of his boyfriend after I heard his name, Eric Mo! She is fu?k?n? dating that guy. And I hate to admit they looked cute together.''

    Here, there was clue as to where was his love life moving while there, Kelly Though was financially broken, she had a partner to support her, to love her and provide her support. (If only Emmett knew his identity and motives behind being so good to Kelly)

    Emmett have surreally lost his mind. He was thinking about a girl who merely stayed in his cabin for few minutes. Okay, for almost thirty minutes! But what was the use of thinking about her now. She was not even sad when he made it clear that her application was almost rejected.


    Emmett Li''s eyes shot up at the sound of a honking bus. He reached the bus station. He quickly ran towards the bus and boarded it. "Gosh!" a victorious smile crept on his lips.


    The bus was certainly empty with b?r?ly ten passengers. He sat on a seat that looked empty, however just as Emmett Li sat his bu?? on the seat, his body fell on the little (yet not so little girl) next to him as the bus took a turn. "Oh I am sorry, the bus took a turn." be smiled apologetically while the girl who was sitting on the window seat, blinked her eyes and stared him. "Is there something on my face?" Emmett Li questioned as she literally ripped her eyes through every inch of face.


    "Oh no, I am sorry. I just thought, I saw you somewhere." The girl slight bowed apologizing him in return while the next moment, she looked outside the window biting her lips as she murmured, "Isn''t he Emmett Li, the CEO Li''s enterprises where Kelly went for an interview!" she also gasped at the realization. She was Casey Ho, Kelly''s sister.

 Chapter 15 - 14. Same intention, different thoughts

    Both Emmett Li and Casey Ho silently sat intact in their seats after buying a ticket for themselves. Both of them were lost in the thoughts. And surprisingly it was Kelly Ho that occupied their mind!


    Casey Ho was concerned for her dear sister. She still can''t get herself to like Eric Mo. Whatever she saw few months ago, was still fresh and live in her brain. She tried to forget it but every time that guy came across her eye sight, she recalled the m??ns and shouts of that woman who was under him in that construction sight.


    ''That Guy is double faced. He shows something else to Kelly Ho but in reality, he is something else. There is a mask of fake personality on his face. He pretends to love my sister but in real, his motives are something else. I am sure he is with my sister for a cause otherwise¡ª why would a rich guy like him chase my sister who is financially broken. Rich guys want double rich girls for themselves. Then why is this Eric Mo behind my sister!''


    Casey Ho tapped her chin. She stared at the stores with crowd outside them as the bus moved forward and left them behind.


    She though was looking outside the window of the bus but in the back of her mind, she was busy imagining all the possible cases which is why Eric Mo could stay with her sister!


    On the contrary, Emmett Li was lost in Kelly Ho''s innocence and her rants that he over heard! He cannot get himself to the position to drag her thought out of his mind.


    ''That girl, she looks different. I am sure there is something about her which is attracting me. And that is surely not her body! My body never reacted in that way after she entered my cabin. However, I am fascinated by her love life. She is thought financially broken but still she seems to have a rich boyfriend. But I wonder if why does she even want to work if her boyfriend is rich! Can''t he help her with some money¡ª if their love is true for each other? I know it is not my concern to think about her and her life but I can''t help it. She is not what she seems. And my heart is screaming to enter her life for my self greed. I don''t know what to do and that was why I had gone to see Peter in his studio but that bitch, he only maddened me.


    I am doubtful. I don''t know what do I want but one thing is clear¡ª I want to enter Kelly Ho''s love life and destroy it. I can''t¡ª see her happy with that guy after I learned that his name is Eric Mo! I just want to ruin Kelly Ho''s love life because of that guy!


    But I fear, I will hurt her. That girl does not have anything to do with my issues, yet I want to drag her in it. I want to make her part of my life and mar her love life! Should I... Do it!''


    Emmett Li''s true emotions were twinkling through his eyes now!


    It was definitely disappointing that Emmett Li was planning to enter her life as destruction but for a change, wasn''t he right?

    The passengers, that were sitting in the seats next to them and behind them, fixated their eyes on both of them.


    Nevertheless, Casey Ho and Emmett Li b?r?ly paid any attention to them and stared each other. "I don''t know why but it is strange, that we both are irritated?" Emmett Li chuckled giving a full tooth grin to Casey Ho.


    She nodded her head in yes and bit her lower lip in embarrassment. She knew he was the well known CEO, sitting next to him was an honour. She even wondered, why on earth was he travelling in bus but sat silently, minding her own business.


    "Yeah, I feel the same. But i am just stuck in a problem and I don''t know what to do!" Casey said in a soft tone. She watched the passengers getting on board in the bus as it stopper on the bus station. "Should I stand against it or let the problem mess up with my life!" Here, by Problem, Casey Ho meant by Eric Ho, and the protest meant, whether she should stand against him and try to reveal his true face to her sister!


    Emmett Li smiled as he thought even a minor like her could have a problematic in life. Nevertheless, he replied like a gentleman, which was indirectly, the answer to his own question, "I guess you should protest against the problem and try to eradicate it rather than just thinking about it! If you think it will give you happiness and prevent you from falling in more problems then, you should do every that thing, that helps you get rid of it. Doing it is better than said, right." Emmett Li smiled and blinked his eyes in a sudden realization.


    ''Fuck, how could I be so stupid! This is also the answer to my question. Kelly Ho needs the job, and I need her attention. So why don''t I hire her and eradicate her problem! And this way I will also get her heed and get to know more about her. I really want to ruin her relationship but it will do no wrong if I want some of her time to enjoy my love life by interfering in hers!''


    Emmett Li thought with a devilish smile. He had made his mind to mess up with Kelly Ho, finally!


    Never mind, here Casey Ho blinked her lashes in realization too. She stared Emmett Li''s face while he was lost in his own fantasy land.


    ''He is right! Before Eric Mo does something wrong to my sister, I better bring his true face in front of Kelly. She needs to see that that guy is not her ideal match. There is something big going on in his mind, and I need to find that out.''


    Casey Ho smile. She looked at the familiar shop of cake and tapped Emmett Li''s shoulder. "Excuse Me, Sir..." Emmett Li moved her concentration on Casey and smile.


    "Yes? You have any more doubts or what." he joked and Casey Ho nodded her head in no.


    "Nope, and thanks to you, CEO Li. You showed me the right path." Emmett was amused to know that he knew her name and position.


    "Ehh, how do you know me?" He asked her excitingly, this girl had some different swag.


    "Who does not know you, Sir. You are the famous CEO Li of Venice city. I see you photos every day in the newspaper and on the front page of magazines. How can I not know you?" Casey Ho wore her bags on her shoulders and gave him a cute smile. "Now if you excuse me then I would like to go out, my stop is the next."


    "Oh, sure little girl. Here you go." Emmett Li stood up and the passengers sitting behind him gasped.


    "This is CEO Li!"


    "OH my god, isn''t that CEO Li?"


    Several women uttered recognizing him and Emmett Li Proudly smirked at Casey Ho was amusingly staring him.


    "It was nice to talk to you girl, hope to see you again." Emmett Li smiled sitting back in his seat as he saw Casey Ho bowing down to him in respect after she thanked him.


    "Sure, sir. Would love to meet you again only if you travel in the bus!" Casey chuckled and bid him a bye as the bus stopped on the next station.


    Well she was right though, Emmett Li does not keep travelling in the buses. It was luck that they collided with each other. And they were unaware of that fact that, meeting each other would become a daily routine soon!


    "Bye." Emmett smiled sitting on the window seat and saw Casey Ho joyfully walking on the side of the road amusingly. "She is cute. Very cute." Emmett Li smiled as the bus started again, little does he know, she was Kelly Ho''s sister!

 Chapter 16 - 15. Marry a nice girl and make babies, Emmett Li.

    The night hushed in, Emmett Li came out of the shower wrapped within a towel from his abdomen. His face had a different gleam as if he was damn happy about something.


    He wore the jog pants and used the towel to wipe his head. The room was warmth, suddenly the temperature took a drastic change and it fell up to fifteen degrees. But fifteen degrees was nothing much harsher for Emmett Li. He yet took a cold shower as usually and stood across the window of his room like it did not matter him at all.


    "Starry sky of the cold chilly night has a different view. No doubts why I feel so good every time I see them." Emmett Li talked to himself.


    He stared at the twinkling sky and eventually turned around to grab his half sleeves t-shirt. The complete transformation from Experienced CEO to a civilian, he looked extremely handsome like any spoilt son a wealthy ?unt businessman who was very proud of the handsomeness of his brute son.


    Emmett Li bit the corner of his lips with a sigh. "Bitch Peter, I hate you." he recalled the afternoon scene and cursed Peter for wasting his time and not helping him either. "I just needed a little help and you made a fool out of myself, freak." NO matter how abusive his language sounded, the way his lips moved, he looked extremely amazing.


    Any ways, there was no stopping to his curses. Emmett Li descended the stairs of his big villa and came down to the dining room. He was about to sit in his chair when suddenly his eyes fell on the person who was already sitting on the dining table. His back was facing Emmett Li, and so he could not comprehend who it was!


    But it did not take him a long time to recognize who does the personality it matched with and Emmett Li pounded on him like a predator. "How dare you enter my house without my permission!" he encircled the neck of the person and complained.


    His grip was deathly. Even though Emmett Li was being playful, his hard iron grip felt so tight that the person almost choked. "Idiot, let me go I can''t breathe?" he coughed, Emmett Li instantly let him go and rub his back not knowing that his playful act would lead his stupid friend to struggle with his breathing.


    Yep, that was Peter.


    He was sitting in the seat and waiting for Emmett Li. Peter ??r?sses his neck. His eyes annoyingly glared at his CEO friend while his nose flared in anguish. "You almost killed me!" he snapped to which Emmett Li laughed.


    "Come on, you are aren''t. Sinners don''t die so early. The God would call the both of us when our real time comes or else he knows that we will set his hell on fire." Emmett Li winked his eyes, he was surprisingly acting joyful unlike in the afternoon.


    Peter who was smiling and laughing, caught the hint of zeal of his friend''s face and tug the corner of his lips up, and into a devilish smirk. "What? What is that for" Emmett Li noticed it and asked.


    The plates were served and the servants started bringing their food. Several cutleries were place in the middle of the table while the two friend gaped at each other. "Someone looks very excited, may I know the reason why? Coz I remember, in the morning they were ready to eat me alive for some cause!" Peter raised a brow, his smirk darkened as the last cutlery came and was placed on the table with the others.


    Emmett Li smiled. How can he not see the glint of tease in Peter''s eyes. And how can he not tell him that a mere candidate from today''s interview irked his life the worst. Kelly Ho came like a hurricane who destroyed all his mental peace with her smile and happiness nevertheless, Emmett Li was a barbarian himself, and he determined to not let the hurricane go unless he did not calm it down.


    An old butler bowed across the two guys with a soft smile. "It is nice to see you here master Peter, a long time no see." he talked serenely in his cracking meek voice as he came forward to serve them the good.


    As soon as he touch the lid of the cutlery that was the nearest one to him, Emmett Li snarled. The old butler halted and blinked his eyes, his smile never fading away. "Butler Shing, how many times have I told you to rest? You don''t have to do this for me any more, I have plenty of other servants who can do this for me. Please go." there was an unsaid softness in his eyes.


    "Come on, master Emmett, let me do this. I don''t have many more days left in my life to serve you food, I may die tonight or tomorrow. So please let me do what I have been doing for last twenty years." Emmett can''t protest against the old butler, his eyes lowered down while the trembling fingers of butler Shing held the spoon to serve the food to his master.


    Emmett Li''s eyes tore up with tears after hearing the words of his death and the little days he were left with.


    He silently sat intact motionless as the old butler served the food to both the guys and bowed across them. "You have not changed even a percent, Emmett. My little prince is still the same, cute and easy to get annoyed." butler Shing''s weak laughs hit ears as he stroked Emmett Li''s hair with love and affection while Emmett''s eyes tore up more.


    His hands circled around the old butler''s waist and face dug in his skinny waist while he cried few tears of bothering. " Date you speak something like that! You are not leaving me this soon. You still have to live twenty more years and wean my children. So don''t think about dying again. You know I can''t tolerate my loneliness." his face came up from butler Shing''s stomach and smile while his eyes caught the sight of butler Shing''s wrinkled face. "I can''t afford to lose you. You are the only best thing I am left with." Emmett Li possessively said.


    He was only eight years old when his mother left him to his father saying that, she was too young to have an eight years old child like Emmett. His father loved him, took care of him until the thought of his own life struck him.


    The greed of his own life forced his father to leave Emmett in this house only when he was eight years old, alone with a butler. And nobody never came to meet him since that day. And then, butler Shing became his only family with few close friends.


    For twenty years, fu?k?n? twenty years he took care of Emmett Li''s likes and life and now, having him talk about death and all, scared Emmett.


    He was all alone, with no one to call as his but butler Shing. And having him speak like that got Emmett emotional. He can''t really afford to leave him. "If you really want me to live long, settle down soon. Marry a nice girl and make babies. You are twenty eight, you need to act fast if you want me to wean your children, Emmett Li. You see, a seventy one year old butler can''t take your care any more. I need a helping hand." Butler Shing said.

 Chapter 17 - Important

    Hi guys, wanted to share something with you all. Actually I''m suffering with personal issues at the moment and updating this story has become nearly impossible. Even when I try it, it''s not happening. Words are not coming out of my head at all.


    And that is why I''ve decided to take a break from writing unless things are back to normal and put this book on hold. I know you were eagerly waiting to read it but I''m helpless at the moment since there are so many things I''m dealing with. And that''s why I''m forced to take a break. So till then the book will be kept on hold till the end of JULY.


    I hope you understand my Situation! But that doesn''t mean we are over... We still have a longgg journey to cover. And don''t forget we''ve to reveal Eric Mo'' s real face too. So yeah still together with me.

 Chapter 18 - 16. I am jealous of her life

    "WHAT!" A startled Peter shouted on top of his voice.


    He was sitting on the edge of the couch and glazing Emmett Li on the opposite sofa. He had covered his ears with hands in an attempt to prevent his ear drums to get damaged for Peter''s high pitched shout was irking.


    Emmett Li smiled, he nodded his skull in a yes as he removed his arms from his ears with a raised brow. "I swear am! I am not even joking, if you think that I am joking to you" he shrugged his shoulders normally with a ''I am serious'' look playing with a joyful smirk on his face.


    ''Oh no, Emmett! Are you like really sure that you want to do this?" Peter asked his eyes blinked with a thrill of excitement as he realized that his friend was nodding to him yet again.


    " Jeez, you mean to say, that pretty chick, uh what is her name, Kelly Ho, you want to mess up with her because she made you jealous!" Peter repeated Emmett Li''s words.


    At least that is what he wanted to do to Kelly Ho. Well, after the dinner, the two guys sat in the drawing room with a bottle of champagne and some pop corns. Emmett Li has said Peter that whatever he was going to tell him tonight would leave him dazed and during that phase, they would some distraction. And what could be better than tasty champagne?


    Emmett Li told Peter the entirety that occurred today during the interview between him and Kelly Ho. His expression, by the time he was describing every moment of the same, was worth a watch.


    Sipping some champagne Emmett Li slurred and announced, his tongue slurred way too much. "Yeah, I am determined enough to do it. I envy her love life. You know buddy, she had like, God knows how many problems, yet she was happy. Why? I want to ask why? I mean, here I have everything still I don''t have happiness."


    "Excluding a girlfriend. Dude, you don''t have a girl in your life, remember!" Emmett Li''s lips pursed together, he glared his friend with a poker face soon when he mentioned his empty love life.


    He narrowed his eyes and annoyingly glared Peter. There was jealousy, anger and frustration on his face. Emmett Li pouted and said, "I know that, you don''t have to keep reminding me about that! In fact, that is the reason why I want to be a part of her problematically happy life. I want to know what does she have in spite of having nothing that makes her feel better amidst all her woes. I just want to see what keeps her going on despite all the tension she has." Emmett pouted.


    "No... no... no... You don''t want to see what keeps her going. You just want to simply play with her already problematic life so that you feel a little good. You want to indirectly directly target her happiness and ruin her." Peter said.


    Was not he right though?


    Emmett Li''s life was messed up. There was everything he wanted but some love. He has physical p???sur? as there were many women out there who wished to get laid by him. Nevertheless, the lack of love, the lack of faith from someone important was missing. He needed someone like Kelly had her boyfriend in her life.


    "You are getting me wrong dude. I swear I don''t want to do anything wrong. I just want to become a part of her life¡ª for some fun." He burst into laughter with evil gaze which did not went unnoticed by his friend Peter.


    Peter negatively shook his head as he thought about the evil plan that his friend disclosed to him. "Oh buddy, your fun will destroy three lives. I just hope you don''t end up hurting her. From what you narrated about her life, I feel like she is in severe enigma." he light whispered.

    Kelly Ho''s house,


    Kelly was lying on her stomach, on the mattress, that was placed on the floor. She had a journal in her hands Thad she dated and wrote,


    May 18,


    I cried badly today. Firstly, I could not get the job. The CEO was a cunning man. I had almost got the job but his questions towards the end blocked my thoughts. I could not think. And I cried badly. The job was important. I could earn a lot of money from it.


    But it was not in my fate I guess.


    And that is okay. It was hurting that I missed the opportunity but I stabilized myself later. That was not the last job of my life. I will start tomorrow again, with new motivation.


    Secondly, I cried because of Eric Mo for he disappeared suddenly. And when he returned, I smelled ladies'' perfume on his clothes. And for a moment I felt like, like he was with another woman beside me. And the exhaustion of his face, it almost had me sad that he cheated on me. But I am happy, it was not how I ?ssumed it to be.


    I am grateful that I have Eric Mo. He is the best thing that has happened to me. And I feel awful of myself that I doubted him. I know he loves me more than my family, he would never do such a thing. He loves me unconditionally. I should not suspect him ever. I so love him. Thank you so much God that you gifted me Eric Mo in my life. Otherwise, I don''t know how would I have survived without his support.

    Kelly Ho ended it with a heart followed by her name and signature and closed the journal.


    She sat up straight with crossed legs and put the journal in her small shelf before she closed her eyes and thought of all the good things that happened to her today.


    Kelly sighed as there were b?r?ly two good things that happened to her. One was that when Casey Ho greeted Eric Mo without any grudges and second was when she rode on bike with Eric Mo despite his busy schedule. She was going through all the happening of the day when a light tug landed on her shoulder. When she open her eyes, "Hi" She found Casey taking a seat next to her on the floor on the thin mattress with a smile.

 Chapter 19 - 17. His step brother!

    The room was filled with their laughter. Casey Ho knew that her sister would be sad for the way she behaved in the morning in front of Eric Mo. She hated him does not mean that Kelly Ho will also start hating him just like her. She has to do something to reveal his face if she wanted her sister to be safe.


    But before that, she apologized to her sister for her bad behaviour and changed the topic. She was talking about a guy of her school, "So do you like him?" Casey Ho''s eyes widened along with her chuckles.


    "No ways! He just joined the school today. I told you he is a transfer student, Kelly. He returned from Singapore few weeks back and his mother admitted him in the school today and instantly did he join." Casey Ho reasoned.


    The two sisters were talking about the new transfer student, a boy, who joined her class from today. He was a Singapore return. Not to forget to mention he was handsome and all the girls in the class already started trying to be friends with him.


    "Oh no, baby sist, why are you like that? I am sure there has to be something in him that all the girls are liking him! Try to be friends with him, who knows if you guys become good friends. He is in fact a transfer student, so he would need some company." Kelly tried to explain her things.


    However, she did not know that the guy was way too arrogant. The girls of her class did approach him in order to make him comfortable during the recess time, but that guy, he acted rudely and shoved them away.


    " Oh my dear sister Kelly, did not I tell you that he was rude with the girls of my class? And definitely the girls will chase him as He comes from a wealthy family, Ethan Wang. He is some diamond merchant''s offspring." the sisters laughed over the choice of her words.


    Casey Ho was a studying in one of the famous and biggest schools of the New York City, RoseWood High. She made it till there on her own. She was studying on scholarship. She is the topper of the class and that was the reason why other students (wealthy ones) could not bully her or insult.


    Only the children from wealthy families studied there. There were though others like Casey Ho, from social class group too. But she was different.


    "What should I say instead, indeed he is. He came in normal clothes and they looked awfully expensive. And the way he was staring everyone and throwing his attitude, I just could not take it. He was acting way too hard like he were some prince." Casey gasped as sarcasm drip from every word that she spoke.


    She thought about the guy again and again. He was handsome, no doubts but his behaviour was too much to tolerate. However, that tinge of sadness on his face, Casey can''t ignore it. He seemed disturbed. She wanted to share about that to her sister, but she kept silent. She was sure that she does not want to interfere in anyone''s life but Kelly''s.


    "I don''t think I''d like him at all. Not after that I saw him behaving sick with his mother." Kelly saw her face. "Yeah she had come to drop him on the first day of school. We saw him jerking her hand away when she tried to ??r?ss his cheek in the school campus. That guy, he uttered something to her and came walking inside the school building." Casey added recalling that moment again.


    Kelly Ho stared at the clock. It was past twelve and they were still talking. Casey had to go to school and Kelly was supposed to go for another places for interview. Both the sisters watched the clock and smiled to each other in understanding. "It is late, I should go. Hope you have a good night. Bye" Casey wished as she got up from the mattress from the floor.


    She collected her books that she had bought to Kelly Ho''s room and walked out of the room while Kelly Ho moved to bed in order to call it a good night.


    Next morning,


    Li Mansion.


    "What the fu?k is this? Don''t you know I hate oranges! Then how dare you get me orange juice." Emmett hit the glass of the juice and it fell down.


    The queue of nine servants standing before their boss grasped lowering their heads. Their boss has been acting weird and angry ever since he got up in the morning.


    When the cleaning staff entered him room to dust and vaccine clean his room, they found that the room was transformed into a mess. All the things were lying broken on the floor while he laid on the couch looking sleep deprived soul.


    Emmett Li''s eyes seemed red and the tear marks on his face conveyed his turmoil. He was disturbed about something. Probably, it was his mother, the cause behind his restlessness?


    Their Boss acted weird and aggressive only when he heard or saw something relating to his mother. That mother who abandoned him while he were just an eight year old kid.


    "Just take this food away too. Make me something spicy." The servants who were cleaning the floor and collecting the broken pieces of the glass and plates that had fallen down and broke, Emmett ordered them to take the door away too.


    Sometimes he would grow too fu?k?n? disturbed that he would ask for things those were not his cup of tea. For example, the spicy food. Emmett Li was allergic to spicy food yet he asked for it because he needed to feel some intense pain.


    He sat motionlessly on his seat. Emmett Li was dressed in formal, showing that he was ready to leave for the office but the expressions, the vulnerability of his face conveyed otherwise.


    "How long will it take?" Not even a minute passed that the servants took away the breakfast made previously for him that, Emmett Li shouted for his new food.


    He was looking in the left side where the kitchen was located and glared at the rushing servants who were preparing his food again. Emmett gritted his teeth as he collected his phone and got up, "I will have to go empty stomach today, all thanks to the useless staff. I don''t know why am I paying you all for? For keeping me unsatisfied as a boss, huh." he bawled angrily.


    Not even had he initiated walking away from the dining table that his hand experienced a tug. Emmett immediately stopped at the touch. "What is wrong with you my boy?" It was butler Shing.


    His weak hold on Emmett Li''s wrist consoled him. He calmed down and composed himself. "Come on sit here." Emmett Li did as butler Shing told. He silently sat on the seat without disobeying him.


    Nevertheless, the expressions of susceptibleness never left his face. He stared at the empty table while butler Shing took the seat next to the head of the family''s chair and stroked Emmett Li''s hair. "What is it bothering you, my kid? You were so happy last night. What made you so angry all of a sudden!" Butler Shing asked, his soft eyes read the features of his face as he waited for his answer.


    Emmett immediately placed his head on butler Shing''s ??p as busted into tears. All the servant peeped out of the kitchen at their boss who suddenly broke down. They stared each other worriedly as it was a rare scene to see their boss cry. They were scared and worried.


    Here, butler Shing''s trembling fingers continued to stroke his head while Emmett Li spoke, "She returned back, Pappy. That woman who left me here, years ago has returned." Emmett cried, butler Shing on the contrary, shockingly stared at Emmett Li''s head saying nothing.


    Emmett Li was talking about his mother. That mother who left him years ago, but now, has she returned suddenly. And what other shocks did she bring with her was a matter of concern.


    Never mind, Butler Shing''s fingers stopped ??r?ssing his hair, he called that day when Emmett Li''s mother met him last time in the garden outside of this house. She was rushing badly as if she were getting late for something. And when she saw butler Shing, she just smiled at him and uttered, "Take care of Emmett." And she was gone in the car and never came back after that day.


    But the news of her flee was everywhere in the news as she was the wife of New York''s biggest businessman, Mr. Li, Emmett''s father. And that was when butler Shing realized why had she asked him to take care of Emmett! Because, she was running away with a lover!


    "Marcus called last night before I was to go to bed. And he told me that she returned few weeks back¡ª with a son. Pappy, she has a son. His pictures are there in my phone." Butler Shing picked up Emmett''s phone that was on the table.


    Marcus was Emmett''s spy, he was a hacker who worked exclusively for Emmett Li.


    Any which ways, butler Shing was unlocking his phone when Emmett Li uttered again, "She admitted him in RoseWood High, which means she''d be staying here." Emmett uttered.


    He wanted to express his jealousy, his anger and his frustration that his mother left him when he were a kid but to her second son, she was taking his care like her only son. "Was the pain that she gave me all these years not enough that she had to return with my step brother?" he continuously ranted.


    Butler Shing opened his WhatsApp and checked the very first name in his contact list that was, Marcus''. He clicked and his name and a folder of certain pictures caught his view. Butler Shing saw all the pictures closely until he found three messages written below the pictures by Marcus, the other night.


    ''He is your step brother, Ethan Wang.


    He is admitted to Rosewood high school today only.


    I am sorry to say, but he looks a bit like you!''

 Chapter 20 - 18. Is he mentally retarded?

    At Kelly Ho''s house,


    The two sisters woke up early in the morning. Kelly Ho three new places to go for interview whereas her younger sister Casey Ho, has some work to get done in the school.


    Being a bright student and the class monitor together, is not easy. A lot was put on her shoulders to look after and today, Casey Ho needed to help the cleaning staff arrange the chairs and decorate the seminar hall today.


    That is because their Principal was going to pass some important announcement regarding the school syllabus. Some amendments were going to happen and for the same purpose all the students of the school were expected to be present in the seminar hall for the announcement.


    And Casey was given the responsibility for all the preparation of cleaning and arranging the hall with the cleaning staff.


    "Okay, bye. See you in the evening. Love you, Mama, Love you Kelly." Kissing the cheeks of her mother and sister, Casey Ho ran out of the door not before taking her bag.


    She rushed down the stairs of her building and came running outside the colony. Luckily, today Eric Mo was not there. She was happy that her sister would be going to her interview venues alone as that bastard had some important work to get done.


    She smiled looking at the spot where his bike was parked yesterday and huffed. "That bastard!" she cursed him in her breath and resumed running towards the bus stop where the school bus usually picks her up from.


    Casey Ho was that bright student of the school who enjoyed all the opportunities of school for her hard work. Not only was she rewarded with scholarship but also given free transportation facilities in the school bus. And she very well deserved it.


    Never mind, the early morning breeze ??r?ssed her cheeks lightly. She looked at the surrounding at the shop owners who were preparing to open their shops for the day''s selling. She laughed in excitement seeing a dog crossing the street on the opposite side with her five puppies.


    The puppies were cute, they were so small that for a moment Casey Ho fretted that they don''t get hit by a vehicle. She stood at the side of the bus station watching them. Her eyes were busy witnessing the little puppies cross the street that when a black car stopped across her, she failed to notice it.


    "Yay, they crossed the street." Clapping her hands excitingly, Casey Ho jumped in a circle, feeling delighted.


    She was lost in her own mirth such that when the car''s door opened, she did not notice it yet again until someone stepped out of it and closed the door.


    The noise of the slamming door was loud enough to drag Casey Ho out of her enjoyment. She stopped jumping. Her eyes stilled at the ground, and she spotted the shoes and then the black trousers and then her eyes travelled upwards until they stopped on the face of the person who was leaning against the car, "Ethan!"


    Her bewilderment was high. Casey Ho blinked her eyes in shock to find him stand there. Several thoughts rushed in her brains, and she was forced to think about every possibility as to why would he stop before her.


    "Hi." Ethan greeted with a small wave of his right hand.


    Casey Ho ???ked an eye brow. She entertained that ''What do you want'' types look and crossed her arms against her ?h?st.


    She did not reply anything to him but waited until he stated next, "You are in my class only, if I am not wrong!" his exclamation had Casey Ho staring him more with shock. Her mouth hung open meeting with his eyes those stared back at her normally like he did not say anything wrong!


    ''Is he mentally retarded?''


    Thought Casey Ho biting her lower lip.

 Chapter 21 - 19. Cant you see... Im reading you?

    "Oh hello, mister! That is you who joined my class, not me who joined your class. You are a transfer. So I should be the one telling you this" Casey Ho crossed her arms across her ?h?st and raised her head proudly.


    If words could really kill or harm a person then Ethan would have been lying injured on the ground. Her words hit him hard that he could not not hold back his expression of bewilderment with a chuckle.


    Yeah, he reacted to her rude and brute statements with small chuckles of curiosity. Ethan smirked lightly as he inserted his arms in the pockets of his trouser. That was the moment when Casey ho noticed that he was dressed in their school uniform.


    She gulped her saliva when her eyes trailed down his body from bottom to top¡ª twice. She was literally checking him out. Ethan Wang looked amazingly handsome. He b?r?ly looked like a school student, his features conveyed more of charm as that of an ?du?t than a teenager.


    She was lost ogling at his appearance that Casey ho failed to notice the smirk that grew on his lips. Ethan Wang was smirking over her condition. He was surreally a piece of handsomeness and who knows if she was standing with the future businessman or diamond merchant!


    He was taller and broad, his body was well built that showed the labour of hours spent in the gym. Though he looked somewhere of her age, that is eighteen, but his built said otherwise.


    He even had biceps that Casey Ho wished to touch. Weird but yeah, she did.


    While Ethan was busy enjoying her expressions, Casey ho on the other hand, read every damn feature of his face.


    The lines on his face conveyed a story of a happy life. Just from the occurrence she can tell that he came from a wealthy family that fed him with golden spoons.


    His crow''s feet spoke of laughter and the dimples in his cheeks told of a guy who gave away smiles like they were wishes. She stared his dimples closely. He has to be the first guy to look so handsome with those cute dimples on both his cheeks. It was just adding towards the beauty of his face.


    "Hey... You there!" Ethan pulled out his right hand from his trousers pocket and crimped it before her face in an attempt to pull her out of her reverie.


    But looked as though Casey ho had no intention of giving up on her job of checking him out even after he waved his hand before her face. "Just stop that!" Ethan was taken aback at the way she expressed her guts, she slapped his hand away and continued to stare him shamelessly while the poor guy (yet not so poor guy) looked here and there with never ending smile.


    He was dazed to find himself smiling like that while the little girl in front of him gawked over his beautiful face without a blink. She hardly reached his chin and so, Casey ho had to raise her head up to look at him.


    She closely read his face, it was beautiful, no doubts. Yet a more sorrowful face she had never seen. She recalled his face from the yesterday, he was sad and glared almost every second person who came across him. Ethan found that damn exciting. She was challenging his courage with her fearless Aura.


    However today, he was smiling so wide and happily like he found a strong reason to smile today. A red hue was covering his cheeks while his eyes held excitement that he had lacked yesterday.


    Ethan looked behind him at the driver who called him. His one gaze and Ethan knew¡ª they were getting late for the school.


    So when Ethan Wang spotted the girl from his class, standing at the bus stop, he cannot stop from asking the driver to stop by and greet her. Also, drive to the school with her as well, if possible!


    "Uhm, if you are done checking me out then... mind sitting in the car!" Ethan Wang coughed, he brought his fist across his lips and coughed aloud, so he was audible to her.


    Casey Ho ripped her eyes from his broad ?h?st and stared him. "What is your problem, can''t you see I am reading you?" She blurted out absent mindedly.


    Mountain of regret collapsed on her, and she clutched her mouth with both her hands. Casey Ho made a crying face while her eyes travelled up till his face and, she noticed that he was smirking at her!


    Ethan''s lips slightly parted. A corner of his lips moved a bit upward as he smirked widely. He smacked his lips a little before he curiously chipped. " Wait... What? " He ???ked an eye brow pretending as if he did not hear it.


    He was blown away by excitement with her statement that now his heart wanted to play a mini game with her. A game of teases.


    "Can you... Can you repeat your words again because I think I heard you wrong! Did you just say that you were reading me?" he intoned.


    She heard him ask that with narrowed eyes. Casey Ho''s eyes widened to the size of saucers, and she turned around attempting to hide herself from his smirk and that narrowed gaze.


    If there were a pond across her or any other deep water body that could swallow her in, then Casey ho had glad jumped in it in order to hide herself from his gaze.


    ''Shit! How dare you say that, Casey Ho?''


    Casey ho slapped her head mentally as she realized she had been gawking at him in a public place such that¡ª he too noticed her. And now, the brute guy was smirking at her devilishly!


    "Hey, I asked you something?" Ethan asked again.

 Chapter 22 - 20. Shes interesting!

    The awkwardness did not seem leaving Casey Ho''s mind. She bit her tongue with the intention of punishing it. She spoke way too much than necessary.


    Till last night, she was cursing and accusing him. She described him as a rude guy to her sister. In fact, yesterday when all the other girls in the class were appriaching him with their herds, she had stuck her tongue out feeling disgusting as the look, ''what is there in him that every girl wants to be his friend!'' had spread on her face.


    And now, she was just doing what the other girls did in the class yesterday. Check him openly and even blurt it out with not so acceptable words.


    Gross?


    Casey Ho proceeded to stand that position without any movement. Her palms pressed her lips more and more while she gritted her jaw feeling stupid.


    What did just happen to her?


    Why can''t she just keep her tongue in control?


    Casey Ho scolded herself alas, the damage was just done.


    ''Gross! Why Casey ho, why? Can''t you just keep your mouth shut. Why do you have to utter that. What will he think about you now? You paid him no attention the last day and today, right when he came across you... you just crossed all the barricades of shamelessness and ????u??t?d shit with your tongue!''


    Casey Ho spoke to herself in her head.


    Her anger on her own self was too bad that she did not keep a track of her the words she used for herself.


    Her language was just.... Gross.


    She felt like she committed some crime but on the contrary, Ethan Wang was just enjoying the moment.


    After a long time had he come across a girl her who was not only bold but also ferocious.


    He can''t help but smile impressively.


    Thought what she said sounded like a complete flirtatious comment, he b?r?ly cared about it regardless.


    ''She is interesting! She does not keep a check on her words and then regrets like it was a sin! She is... Just like me."


    If time had been his private possession then Ethan had loved to stop it just right there. If he were the keeper of time then surreally he would have stopped it at the moment and enjoyed pulling her leg.


    She look damn cute, after all.


    Nonetheless, it was not like that. He was no super human who can control the activities like a creator but be was just a normal human who, like any other being, had to respect the time and reach school before it was late.


    Ethan sighed. The impressive smile never faded away. He wished to cough again or simply just whisper any random statement in her ear so that, he can get her attention. He was feeling too excited to let her go easily without pulling her leg.


    But he only rolled his eyes while his legs took few small steps and soon, he was standing before her¡ª face to face.


    Casey Ho seemingly got a heart attack when her eyes suddenly caught the sight of his face. She let out a hesitant whimper and rushed to turn around again but earlier than she could make the move, she sensed her elbow being yanked. She found her face closer to Ethan''s as his eyes read her facial expressions.


    For a second, her heart stopped beating and seemingly the blood in her veins chilled. She forgot to blink her eyes as she stared in that pair of dark brown eyes that were staring her. She was freaking inches away from his face¡ª and just a move away from sharing a kiss!

 Chapter 23 - 21. Uh, is he your boyfriend!

    "You..."


    "Shhh" She was about to utter something but Ethan placed a finger on her lips and shushed her.


    Felt like Casey Ho''s heart was stuck in her throat after his finger touched her lips. This was the very first time she was sharing such a close proximity to with a guy. And having that guy to be the same guy whom she felt irritated yesterday with, was unbelievable.


    "Why do you feel so guilty of your words? You said it means you said it. It is no big deal." she saw his left eye brow elevating as he gave her a challenging look. "Is there anything can you do about your words!" he remarked.


    Casey Ho serenely shook here head to sidewise since there was really nothing that she could do but. The quote, ''Words once spoken cannot be taken back'',  proved to be correct today.


    "Then what is your problem?" he questioned, Casey Ho shrugged her shoulder replying him with her actions that she was okay with no problem. "Now only if you stop being weird, I will eliminate my finger from your lips." Casey Ho shook her head.


    With a smile Ethan detached his finger from her lips but then something struck his mind and he pressed his forefinger finger on her lips again. Casey Ho''s eyes widened since she lost her balance and was about to fall back.


    She swung her arms in the air and grabbed his collar as at the same moment he encircled his left arm around her waist and pulled her closer before she could fall. She let out a sigh of relief and closed her eyes feeling happy that she did not fall nevertheless, just then she recognize their positions and push him away.


    "You freak! How dare you touch me?" Casey Ho stomped her foot shouting on him.


    Ethan chuckled seeing her get back to her wild cat mode, "Shouldn''t you be thanking me? I saved you from a fall." he ???ked an eye brow at her.


    His words least affected her. Casey Ho frowned her brows and growled irritatingly, she raised a finger pointing at him, "You... Don''t you da¡ª" No sooner she started speaking than her eyes fell on his back at the flowers shop and eventually her eyes popped out of her sockets.


    "What? What is wrong with you now!" Ethan remarked following her gaze. He turned around only to notice a guy standing across a shop of flowers.


    His lips twisted amazingly, "Uh, is he your boyfriend!" he exclaimed making Casey Ho rip her eyes off from the guy and the shop and glare him.


    She raised an arm to slap his head but stopped in the mid tracks as she watched the guy walking away with a bouquet of red roses, "I will deal with you later. Now get aside." Casey Ho grunted along with her whisper scream and pushed him aside.


    She walked past by Ethan and proceeded to follow the guy.


    Not even did five seconds passed that she felt a tug on her shoulder as Ethan''s voice rang in her ears, "I see, you are following that guy with the flowers! But i wonder if he isn''t your boyfriend then why would you do so." a low growl escaped Casey Ho''s lips.


    She stopped in her tracks and glared him hard whereas Ethan lifted his arms in their air in surrender. She looked back at the guy with flowers who was walking from her, "Look, I don''t want to tell you anything but I don''t have any other choice to get rid of you... So listen to me carefully." Casey said not looking at him.


    "That guy, he is my elder sister''s boyfriend, Eric Mo. And I suspect he is cheating on her. So I am following him. Now if you are done with your rapid fire round then excuse me." with that Casey Ho hissed irritatingly and hurried further attempting to chase the guy with the flowers, Eric Mo.

 Chapter 24 - 22. The unbelievable encounter!

    "Bye mom, take care." Waving at her mother, Kelly Ho rushed out of the house.


    She was suffering with some big problems in life yet there was a contenting smile on her face as if she was grateful to everything that she possesses. Her eyes glimmered with hope and face shone with excitement.


    She was out on a new adventure today. An adventure of finding a job, facing issues coming in the way and gathering lessons from her mistakes to make a good come back in the future.


    Her hair were tied into a low pony tail near her neck. She smiled meeting all the people on her way until she reached the bus station.


    Her deary boyfriend, Eric Mo, had some important job to undertake and hence he could not join Kelly Ho on her adventure. Eric Mo lived with his father, who was strict towards him. He frequently gave him tasks and jobs to undertake so that he was not hanging around.


    His father was a small scale exporter who exported pearl bracelets to abroad. His business was not a big one but earning a few lakhs was easy. His average bet profit ranged from three lakh dollars to five lakh dollars easily. He was undoubtedly a successful exporter between the other on his level.


    And Mr. Mo forced his son to work for him from time to time. Even today. Eric Mo told her last night that he had to deliver few cartons as per the order to some clients in the next city. She knew he would not return before the sunset, and she chose to not ask him to accompany her. Her poor boyfriend was doing everything he can do for her.


    ''Dear God, please make the interviews easier than the last time. I swear I will be dedicated towards my job and do my best to be regular. I need this job anyway...''


    Her fingers were entwined together in her ??p as she sat on the seat at the bus station waiting for her bus. She had a side bag hanging on her right shoulder and her file clasped between her waist and left arm in her ??p as she prayed to god.


    Kelly Ho ignored the giggles of the girls standing right before her on the side of the road waiting for the bus, and stare at her as though she were some clown. ''I just want a job any way. Mom can''t handle our expenses alone, so please help me get the job.'' she finished her prayer while standing up. The bus has arrived.


    Kelly Ho avoided the looks of those girls who were still laughing on her and boarded the bus before them. She took a seat beside a guy who was¡ª busy photoshopping some pictures in his MacBook.


    Although she was a kind of person who like to mind her own business and not look into others business but the guy and his editing skills were too marvellous to be avoided. Kelly Ho watched him editing a picture of some model and add filters to it keeping in mind the complexion of the model.


    "May I suggest something..." he looked up at Kelly with a raised brow. "Firstly I am sorry to interfere in your business but I just can''t keep my curiosity to myself." the guy''s lips spread with a smile.


    He amazingly nodded at Kelly Ho while she pointed at the background of the picture as she said, "Her colour is almost porcelain so you should try some dark shades in the back ground than bright colours like white or cream colour. The picture will look great if you make a contrast appearance between her complexion and the colour of background." Kelly Ho smiled.


    The was expecting to get some reply from the guy however he just executed her words and started editing the picture just as she said. With few clicks and editing, the final picture came out as a tour de force, "Hmm you were right, it looks nice. I thought to do the same but avoided. But thanks to you...." the guy smiled, Kelly Ho passed him a wide green as she managed her file and bag in her ??p.


    "by the way, it is nice to meet you, I am Peter, a photographer by profession and a crazy guy in person." Kelly Ho laughed at his introduction it was as crazy as he looked with the colourful lose t-shirt and knickers.


    "Nice to meet you, I am Kelly Ho, Chartered accountant by profession yet not working at the moment." she copied his words and introduced herself just he did, "Uh, is something wrong?" she hesitantly asked as Peter was staring her shockingly as if he knew her.


    She scratched her cheek with the nail of her fore finger looking in the front at the same girls who were laughing at her. Her eyes were gazing them until she heard Peter exclaim, "Kelly Ho... The one who visited Emmett for an interview the last day?"


    "Yeah!" she replied looking daze at his exclamation.


    How did he know about that?

 Chapter 25 - 23. Ho sisters, on a mission!

    "Hey, listen to me, Kelly!"


    "Just don''t call me by my name. Go to hell." Kelly Ho agitated, grumbled as she stared the guy Peter, whilst standing at the bus stop. "Dare you show me your face again, I will call the cops!" she added showing Peter her fore finger as a warning.


    "But what have I done, at least tell me that?" the poor guy confusingly chewed his lips as he b?r?ly understood why was she acting like that suddenly.


    The passengers sitting inside the bus at the window seat curiously watched her warn the guy sitting with them in the bus until it started moving and it was out of her eye sight very soon.


    " Jeez!" Kelly Ho huffed letting out a breath of exasperation.


    She just can''t get over the small conversation she had with the guy and burst into anger.


    Flashback....


    Kelly and Peter were having a very good conversation until he heard her introduce herself and how she was going towards her new interview venue.


    They were talking nicely until she heard him blurt out the mention of Emmett Li''s name, "what the fu?k!!!" an impressive smirk spread on his lips while Peter exclaimed his excitement.


    A blank Kelly Ho blinked her eyes not knowing how to react. The guy whom she just met during a journey in the bus, knew what she had done yesterday!


    Her mouth was hanging open in bewilderment until Peter announced, "Emmett is a very good friend of mine. We were childhood friends. And last night I visited him, so he was talking about you with me about your interview and all. I guess he is impressed by you..."


    That was the only thing he serenely mentioned which got Kelly Ho totally angry, and she angrily glared him, "What, you are that brute''s best friend?" he nodded his head in yes not knowing what suddenly has happened to her that she was now snarling at him.


    "How dare you even talk to me... You pathetic creature!" she called him with the names of different animals and hopped down the bus on the very next bus station.


    Flashback end...


    Kelly Ho shoved Peter''s thoughts from her mind and took a seat on the bench at the bus stop waiting for another bus.


    She looked down at her watch growling at the time. She was getting late already and now she had to even leave a bus because of some stupid friend of the Cruel CEO because of whom she was sitting there!


    "That bloody good looking CEO, he fu?k?n? rejected me from the job, and he had the courage to talk about me with a friend of his! Unbelievable. Does he really have that much time either? I thought he was a busy man... May be i was wrong about him!" Kelly talked to herself.


    Yeah, Kelly Ho blamed Emmett for her condition. If only he had offered her the job in his enterprises yesterday then she did not have to rush from one interview venue to other today.


    She was willing to work over time for him as well nevertheless, he just simply dismissed her from his cabin not before ruining all her confidence.


    Though he mentioned they will call her if she was selected, but she knew it was nothing but a false hope.


    It was not her problem that the footwear where she worked wind up! It was solely the ignorance of the company owners that forced them to close down yet, Emmett Li held her responsible. Why! Just because she worked as their CA.


    Kelly Ho sighed holding her tears. Life was so tough already and here strange people were affecting her lately. "Come on Kelly, don''t just let yourself down. Hope for the best. You can make it up jn today''s interview. Just remember to commit any mistake as of the other day." She motivated herself amidst her tears.


    Soon the next bus came and a smile of hope reformed on her sad face. Kelly Ho soon forgot the accidental meet with the CEO''s friend and quickly got inside the bus with a new hope towards her professional life!

    "Can''t you walk a bit slow, Casey? Look what have you done to my trousers? You are splashing the dirty water on my trousers with your fast steps!" Ethan Wang complained walking behind her as they walked stealthily behind an old couple.


    The street was wet with water as it has rained a bit few moments ago, but the water on the roads was enough to splash and spread on anyone''s shoes if a person walking beside them rushed faster.


    And much to Ethan''s dismay, that has what happened to his trouser in till the knees. He had dirty water stains and water drops on his trouser looking filthy. And Casey was supposed to be accused of the same! She was walking so clumsily as if she was a detective who was walking between a group of people as in camouflaging herself like a stranger as her eyes spied the suspect.


    They covered a mile of distance away from the bus station whilst following Eric Mo who pulling inside an apartment behind the busy market with the flowers.


    "OH just shut the fu?k up, Ethan. Go back if you want or stay quiet if you want to join me on ''Revealing my sister''s boyfriend''s real face mission''. Just follow me quietly." Casey Ho grunted in irritation as the transfer guy from her class missed no chance of pissing her off with his stupid exclamations.

 Chapter 26 - 24. Ethan Wang growing curious and Crazy... Casey Ho is an attraction!

    It was an adventure.


    An adventure Ethan embarked on with this crazily interesting girl!


    He was though not the kind of guy who loved adventures but the way Casey Ho showed interest in her sister''s love life and followed her boyfriend like a spy, it was amusing him. He saw the watch on his wrist from time to time yet there was nothing he can do to stop her. Because, he did not just want to stop her.


    Growing up in a house consisting only his parents and him alone, he had a boring childhood. Not to forget the dozens of servants that took his care however never in his entire life had Ethan felt so lively.


    He was mad at his parents for deciding to shift in Venice from his birth town, he did not want to live in a new place as he was not the type of guy who can mix in with people easily. He was rather a tough guy who grew up feeling neglected by his parents.


    If his father was a great merchant of diamond who stayed five days away from the house out of the seven days of the week for business purpose, then his mother was an ambitious woman who preferred to spend her time in kitty parties and enjoying the luxury of a wealthy life.


    His life seemed a big joke few years ago when he was b?r?ly ten or twelve years old. Ethan had witnessed his parents on bed with different partners. In each other''s absence, they would sleep around with different people and looked like they knew about it but never raised the topic as if it was a part of some kind of contract that they have had signed!


    Any which ways, life happened and years flew by. Watching his parents hanging around with partners other than each other became a normal thing that he accepted who heartedly. It did not take him a long time to recognize that his mother was his father''s second wife, and she was divorced from her previous husband just like how his father divorced his former wife and abandoned his first son.


    Things for him seemed more of a joke when he also learned that he had a step brother, actually TWO step brothers!


    Ethan realized his either parents (Mom and dad) had one son from their former partners. It hurt Ethan when he learned that both of his step brothers lived on their own, alone.


    It was one of the biggest shock Ethan could experience as a teenager until he realized that one of his step brothers (his mother''s first child) lived in the same city as his, Venice. He was Emmett Li.


    He knew about his step brother from his father''s, he was living in Korea.


    Ethan was heart broken to realize that his mother decided to go back to the same city where she had left her first kid behind. He felt so pathetic that he stopped talking to her as he can feel his step brother''s emotions.


    How would he (Emmett) feel after learning that his mother had another child?


    How would he be able to survive after learning that the mother who left him when he was just a kid has returned to stay in the same city as his?


    How would he stay calm after seeing her pictures in the magazines with her second son?


    Ethan was all in all caught by guilt from all the four sides feeling bad for his step brother, Emmett Li.


    Ethan empathized his step brother. And the empathy was so intense that after they landed in Venice, he promised himself to never talk to his mother nicely. He even promised himself to never smile but today... He just can''t stop smiling!


    And the reason was right beside him--- Casey Ho!


    Casey Ho was slender and soft with brown waist length hair that tumbled behind her back in waves of silk. Her complexion was almost porcelain; every time she gritted her teeth, her cheek turned red and it was there for him to see. Her features were delicate; she had an ethereal beauty that was refined. She was of medium height, and she was so slender that her body was graceful and dainty. No matter how skinny and delicate she appeared from the outside, she was an equally ferocious rude girl from the inside. And that was what intrigued Ethan.


    Last day when he joined the school and attended the first day of his school in the class, he had almost every second student coming and greeting him. All the girls approached him with excuses of lending him notes, books or whatever they had solid for showcasing as an excuse--- except her.


    He ?ssumed she was just showing off her attitude since she is the class president but no, she was anyway bent on being rude to him! Just him! And he was curious to know why.


    "Wait.. Wait... Wait!!!" Ethan was snapped out of his thought land by her alert voice.


    He immediately stilled in his spot as the two of them spied from behind a wall at Eric Mo who was talking on phone with someone. He smiled with an arched brow watching how her arm, (that she has used to stop him) rested across his ?h?st. He noticed her nails were perfectly trimmed but not so small that they won''t hurt, her skin had no wrinkles at all and most importantly, her tiny fingers were so baby like that Ethan just urged to touch them and entwined them with his own!


    He was lost in her thoughts yet again until, "What.... The.... Fuckkkk!" he heard her curse grievously as at the same time his eyes narrowed watching how her nails dug in his ?h?st pricking his skin.


    That was interesting regardless!!!

 Chapter 27 - 25. Be My friend!

    Her clutch around the meat of his skin tightened. It b?r?ly hurt Ethan but the way her trimmed nails struggled to leave marks on her skin, he smiled feeling something more than bewilderment.


    "What the fu?k is wrong with this guy!" Ethan let her fingers hurt his skin above the fabric of his school uniform.


    He averted his eyes from her hand on his ?h?st to where she was looking and--- his eyes widened!


    "What the..." his lips sealed together, there were no words in his mind that he could enunciate!


    There across them, on the other side, Eric Mo stood across a girl wearing an extremely short dress. He hugged her after handing her the roses he bought and kissed her lips hungrily, "I am sorry, babe! I had to go out the other day. But don''t you feel angry as I will compensate you today!" Ethan and Casey pursed their lips together while their eyes witnessed Eric Mo cupping the beautiful girl''s (standing in his arms) br??st and fondle them in his hold.


    His other hand travelled below her torso, right inside her dress and she gasped. He fingered down there while at the same time his other hand fondled with her br??st. The girl m??n?d and giggled, smelling the roses.


    "Cover your eyes, you should not be seeing this!" Ethan immediately spread his one palm in front of her eyes in an attempt to block her view that was fixated on Eric Mo and the girl.


    He bit his cheek watching Eric Mo push the girl behind her on a car''s bonnet. He parted her legs and from what he can see, Eric Mo was undoing the buckle of his belt and unbuttoning his jeans.


    Ethan (though frustrated) sighed pressing his palm on her eyes as he thankfully breathed since Eric Mo''s back was facing them while the girl''s legs wrapped around his waist. All they could see was the background play!


    "You... Take your hands off my eyes." Casey whisper screamed, she scratched Ethan''s back of the palm and pulled his hand until it was resting around her neck while she held his wrist with both her palms. "You don''t have to feel bad for me, I have seen him doing this before!" Casey Ho''s remark widened his eyes.


    Ethan split his gaze from the couple performing foreplay before them and stared Casey Ho, he was tongue tight.


    This girl... She was a step ahead from his thinking.


    "What? Really? How? When?" Casey slightly turned her head back looking in the upward direction at his face.


    His lips were the very first thing she noticed. Casey Ho bit her own Lips watching how he twisted his own. She was lost for a moment. Till yesterday, this guy was a complete stranger. She hated him for his rudeness and how every student of her class was showering her with their attention.


    Her heart felt a tinge of jealousy as her own friend was praising the transferred guy for his God like features and appealing lips!


    Wait.... Lips?


    Casey Ho cut her eyes from his lips and shut her eyes. She was again thinking about him in that way!


    Gosh, why was he intimidating her so much?


    She never felt so attracted toward any guy like that. Her motive was fixed. After pursuing her school, she wanted to study further along with a stable job. But it looked like it was stumbling! Today, she was thinking about everything but her studies.


    ''Shit!!!'' She grumbled in her mind realizing that she was supposed to reach the school earlier today.


    But this stupid moron, Ethan Wang and the other moron, Eric Mo, both of them distracted her from her responsibilities.


    "Fuck! I was supposed to reach school earlier!" she snapped, Ethan only widened his eyes again before he clutched her mouth together in his palm.


    He glared at her and then redirected his eyes across them at the couple making out on the bonnet of a car hence Casey Ho stilled realizing that they were not alone.


    After a minute when Ethab wang removed his hand from her mouth, he heard her snap, "I wish my sister was here! This guy needs to be taught a lesson. I wish I had a phone to capture his video clip." she restlessly jumped in the small space between Ethan and the wall with big curious eyes.


    Her sister b?r?ly owned an old android phone, it was next to impossible for herself to own one. But now looking at the intensity of the situation, she wished if she had a phone now, but alas!!!


    She was busy mourning over the poverty she was burdened with that Casey Ho failed to notice when Ethan pulled out an iPhone from his trousers. He was half way through capturing Eric Mo''s video when Casey sadly expressed, "I wish if I were a bit rich so that I could at least afford a phone for myself!" she merely spoke in a whisper but it did not take long for him to hear her words.


    She was sadly lost into her thoughts world when Casey Ho experienced herself being pulled behind by her waist. She was about to make some noise but that was when she heard him speak over the phone, "Get the car here...." She missed half of his words, Casey Ho reckoned.


    Her pupils grew bigger staring at the apple Logo behind his phone!


    He freaking owned an iPhone!


    Her eyes curiously stared at it while Ethan dragged her with himself by her waist. Casey Ho was still in her thoughts when a car halted across them and she was forced inside by him, "What!! Huh... What are you doing?" she jealously asked, her voice sounded merely as a rant.


    However Ethan b?r?ly showed any interest in her words and simply took the seat next to her. Soon the driver ignited the engine while Casey Ho''s expressions grew intensely dazed.


    "We will talk in the school, Casey. Now please, just shut your mouth and let me see the video!" he uttered without looking at her face.


    Casey Ho though was angry at him yet she preferred to sit quietly as she watched him turn the video on full screen mode and play it on loud music. She was shocked to hear the voices coming from the video!


    That is because Eric Mo''s voice was audible in the background while the woman he was busy fu?k?n?, shouted his name from time to time between the fu?k?n?. Casey''s lips curved into a smile as she finally had a solid proof for her sister to believe in her and understand that her boyfriend was a freaking cheater.


    She had tried so hard to get a proof but always failed until today. It was impossible to call Kelly Ho there and show her everything with her own eyes, but thankfully Ethan was there. Casey Ho did not want to commit it verbally but she was indeed grateful that he followed her.


    "Wow! This will be enough to make my sister realize she had been dating a jerk!" Eyes staring at the screen of the phone while Ethan replayed it, Casey chirped, clapping her hands. "Now, I just have to show this clip to my sister and she will realize I never lied to her about her boyfriend being a cheat."


    Ethan on the contrary, ???ked a brow as a smirk crept on his lips. He swiftly cut the video and pocketed the phone back in his jeans with his eyes evilly fixating on Casey Ho''s face, "That is right. But, who told you I will give you the video so easily!" Ethan shrugged his shoulders.


    This made Casey stiffen in her seat, she placed her hands in her ??p and questioned, "Wh-what do you mean?" she felt uncomfortable under his gaze.


    Casey Ho shifted toward the window. Her back pressed against the glass of the window on the door while her eyes closely struggled to read his face, "I mean... If you want the video then..." He paused.


    "Then..." Casey Ho repeated his word.


    "Then... You will have to be my friend!" Ethan intently stared her while Casey Ho blinked her eyes, being totally perplexed.

 Chapter 28 - 26. Preparations.... And plans.

    Emmett Li''s point of view...


    "Want me to bring you something to eat, Emmett!" I negatively shook my head, fixating my eyes on Butler Shing with a smile.


    He approached me five times already for food since I haven''t eaten anything from the morning itself. I don''t feel like eating, my appetite just died after getting the news of her (his mother''s) return.


    "No Paapi, I am okay. I will tell when I feel hungry." I turned him down as politely as I could.


    He forced a smile in return whilst taking his walk towards the door of my room, "Okay, son. Call me when you need anything, I am there by your side." He closed the door behind him after leaving.


    No sooner he exited my personal space, I sighed taking out the photo album I had hid under my pillow on Butler Shing''s appearance. I opened the cover of the album and adored the pictures in there. There was me, as a two year old kid with my parents.


    There were pictures from our family trips, holidays, pictures taken at night in the bedroom and many more.


    My eyes welcomed new tears that I refused to shed. I did not want them to fall at all. I cried enough in the past as a kid.


    My fingers closed the cover of the album and I hugged it close to my ?h?st shutting my eyes tight. I still recollect that day when butler Shing had entered my room, looking a bit weird.


    I remember he played with me, took me to the park and bought me chocolates. And when the evening gave its visit and I asked him about my mother, he had looked down at my face and ??r?ssed my cheek saying, "Don''t worry, she will be back soon."


    I was too naive at that moment that I believed his words and impatiently waisted for that ''Soon'' to come. Alas, what I did not know was that Soon was never to come. I was fooled.


    Every day I would ask butler Shing about my mother. I would call my father in his office and ask him the same question but he would simply ignore my inquiries and distract me with gifts or toys.


    It continued for months when my father finally chose to see me at our house. And that was the last time I saw him in person because after that I was left in this house on butler Shing''s responsibility and my father shifted to Korea with a girlfriend whom he married a few months ago.


    It was my fifteen birthday when I received gifts from both my parents with a letter apologizing to me for not being able to see me. In fact, there was a promise made by them that soon they will come to meet me.


    But I knew it was just a useless hope. I have moved past that shit and started paying attention towards my studies and the business my father left for me, which was handled by Alfred Rado, my custodian besides Butler Shing. I don''t think I will ever be able to pay off the gratitude because that man acted as my backbone.


    He helped me get over the past and focus on my future. He helped me accept the reality and get the best out of my life since my parents would never come. And now, after so many years, everything seems like a scene from a movie.


    Now, not only have I moved on in life but also composed myself as an individual who has learned to live on his own. It is my father now who messages me, calls me but I ignore him like he used to do when I was a kid.


    Now that I have grown up into a handsome guy and called as the most wanted bachelor of the city, my father wants to keep ties with me so that his business is profited. That is because, after I turned eighteen, I cut my business from my father''s (StreetSmart Royal) and started my own business under the name of Li Enterprises.


    At least my father tried to reach out to me but my mother, I don''t have words for her! After her leave, neither a message nor a call, I got none from her side. She just erased me from her life forever. And now, when I had started living my life on my own without a father or mother''s support, she returned to the city again!

    I gritted my teeth looking at the big Led screen of my television on the wall opposite to me. She forced me to waste a precious day of my life! I wish God never gives any other child a mother like mine. She was pathetic.


    I was thinking about her, no matter how much I hated it, when my phone rang. I let out a snarl as I was not in the mood to talk to anyone. But when I spared a gaze to the phone lying next to me on the bed, I swiftly held it in my clutch and brought it near my ear.


    "Yes, Peter. Now what do you want?" I showed my disinterest as I was not in any condition to talk to him. "Look I am already very mad, now don''t you just irritate me. Just cut the call now..."


    I yawned feeling tired. I would have simply cut the call. That is what I would have done if he had not mentioned, "Eh listen to me, I met Kelly Ho today" my back erected against the pillow and I straightened my back hearing the mention of her name.


    "What? When? How?"


    Curiously sitting straight with folded legs, just as I prepared myself to inquire how and when he met her, Peter himself said, "In the bus. She was going for an interview and..." he narrated everything he witnessed in the bus and I was just left with a mouth hanging in bewilderment.


    "What? She really did that, cool. I was right, she is a heck of an interesting girl." I can''t cease my chuckles.


    I was sure that her arrival in my life would be amazing. I bit my lips listening every freaking word Peter uttered. She was brave and confident but just like me, she lacked something in life. And I am more than happy to provide her that, in return she will have to give a place in her life... For fun.


    "Okay Peter, thank you for the piece of information but I will have to cut the call now." I can hear him murmuring curses for me. "See you soon, Pete, bye." I cut the call with a smile.


    Unless I cut this call how will I confront my CEO friends from other enterprises for rejecting Kelly Ho! And if they don''t reject her then how will my secretary give her an intimation call regarding her selection in my enterprises!

 Chapter 29 - 27. They rejected me!

    "Moron, idiot, bitch, bastard, scoundrel... Freaking handsome son of a bitch!" rumbling under her throat Casey Ho sat at the window sill looking at the purple cloud of the twilight outside.


    The sky was changing its colour as sun was sinking inside the horizon bit by bit. At least that is how it looked. Evenings were not Casey Ho''s favorite, she any way loved the changing colour of the sky. Nature was indeed great. It not only has do much to offer but also a lot to intrigue your eyes with.


    From the rotation of Earth to the sunset and sunrise, it just looks like a miracle!


    Now have one ever felt that the earth keeps moving twenty four into seven? Nope, it just doesn''t occur like that. Yet things happen and that is the greatness of nature. No doubts why is it even called as a mother because, nature favours the mankind just like how a biological mother''s does.


    Never mind, Casey Ho loved nature. Her thoughts were wide and great toward nature and its rewards. But what held her mind at the moment was that freaking rich kid, Ethan Wang!


    "What does he think of himself? Huh..." Her mouth sarcastically twisted looking at the sky turning slight orangish.


    Her white slender legs stretched over on her front as Casey Ho stared at the tired birds flying back to their nests. Their squawking spoke of their exhaustion. It must not have been an easy day like always for them since the little birds have to fly miles away from their nests in search of food. Things may occur gruesome for the birds if they have little chicks. All in all, nature served everyone equally! From the humans to animals, nature rewarded every earthling equally.


    Casey saw how two birds flew right before her eyes in the west direction chirping their tiredness out. She herself sighed thinking about Ethan even though she did not want to.


    "He has a phone so he can force me to agree on his words? No ways. I do want that video for my sister but I will never be his friend. He is a..."

    Casey Ho''s eyes widened in shock over heart''s reply. She held her mouth between the pit of her palm and stared in her front with wide eyes.


    No ways, she never wondered like that for Ethan! Her heart may have probably gone crazy. Nope, she would never do it!


    Her eyes kept staring at the frame of the window in her front when the sound of the door creak opening, hit her ears. Casey Ho quickly pushed Ethan''s thoughts away from her mind and stepped down the window. She flattened her shirt and curiously walked out of her room in order to look as in who did come.


    "Hey..." Her lips instantly curved into a smile looking at her sister, Kelly Ho.


    Kelly, though looked weary and tired reiterated her sister''s action and sat on the mat on the floor. They lived quite a normal life under poverty. Though they had beds in their respective rooms, they lacked a sofa set regardless.


    Miss. Ann Ho could not afford new furniture after her husband''s death. She let her small flat with three cubical shaped small rooms stay Emory as much as she can since their house was extraordinary small. They only had two chairs and they were installed in the two sister''s room as they needed them during studies.


    "Hi..." Kelly Ho kept her side bag aside along with her phone.


    The smile that has crept on her face suddenly worn out. Casey Ho who had a joined her sister on the floor sensed her uneasiness and asked, "What''s wrong, Kelly?" her hands massaged her shoulders after Casey Ho stood on her knees and helped her sister get a massage.


    She nicely pressed her shoulders applying enough pressure to calm her nerves down. Casey Ho can see something was wrong and her sister was feeling bad about the same.


    Kelly Ho on the contrary sighed holding her tears back. She struggled to not feel sad but alas, how could she not cry as the news was not so pleasing, "I..." Kelly Ho bit her lips not knowing how to say it.


    She shut her eye lashes altogether tightly so that her younger sibling could not notice it. Casey Ho can''t see her face indeed since she was standing behind her back and messaging her sister''s shoulders.


    No matter how much she battled with the tears, they gradually came gushing out of her eyes as Kelly Ho broke the bad news of the day, "I could not get the job anywhere... They rejected me!"

 Chapter 30 - 28. Atrocities of life shattered Kelly Ho. Will she ever find her happiness?

    Silence prevailed in the atmosphere. Looked like there was nobody present at all. The way the two sisters maintained their features and took their time understanding each other, it felt as if they were having a hard time accepting the truth.


    Kelly Ho would not have known that it will be so hard for her to disclose this news to her family. How life could be so cruel to her?


    She never had big dreams but something that was attainable. Having a small world full of happiness and no tinge of sorrow was something she wished for notwithstanding, Kelly Ho could not get that too.


    With heavy inhalation of a deep breath Kelly Ho turned around facing her sister. She pulled Casey to sit on the ground with her as their fibres entwined together. "I am sorry, Casey. I can''t help you out. I can''t help mama. I am sorry." She wept looking at their hands.


    Her white skin turned pale. The crimson on her cheeks reddened as Kelly Ho cried more and more. She was a strong person usually but today, things broke her into fragments and shattered her hopes completely. Indeed, it is true that you get things after striving for them but poor Kelly Ho, she could not attain anything despite waiting for a long time.


    On the other hand, watching her sister cry woefully, Casey''s eyes welled up too. Her sister was her inspiration. She was the reason why Casey Ho fair in the exams do wonders and come first in the class. Kelly Ho was the pillar that kept Casey intact and unharmed. But those spilling tears glistening in her eyes, made her feel vulnerable.


    When saline water drops appeared him Casey''s eyes herself, she could not notice them. They were struggling in life that was true. Nevertheless, they never lost it to the agonies of poor life ever like this, "Hey, why are you being like this, sister. Please don''t cry. It makes me cry too." finally one of the two took the initiative and broke the silence.


    Casey Ho was on the verge of sobbing, but she maintained her Misery. Isn''t it wise to just stay calmed even if your sibling is broken. It is always needed for one of all the siblings to stay stronger as it helps the others to feel stronger themselves. Casey Ho knew this was not the time. She could definitely cry but not in front of her sister as it would only make her vulnerable.


    She controlled her emotions any which ways and pulled her elder sibling in a tight hug. "Oh Kelly, it''s okay, it is not that it was the only job left for you. I am sure, something great is awaiting you. Just have faith in God. He will help us." it was baffling since the younger sibling was giving hope to her elder one.


    No matter what, Kelly Ho still cried her heart out. She was broken beyond repair and this break was not something that could be healed. She lost the game of life today. She gave up and now all she could do was cry her eyes recklessly.


    Kelly Ho''s lips quivered. She shook her head in a no. She could not find words to make her sister understand. She was just a kid, and she did not know why was her elder sister crying. If she could any way understand her emotions then she would know how difficult it was to endure that pain.


    When you gave grown up in a house where poverty and sorrow was constant, finding a reason to smile and feel happy becomes rare. And Kelly Ho seem that.


    It is not that predicaments fell on the like a bomb after their father''s death! To be honest, Kelly Ho faced hardships ever since she can remember it. At least she was successful for not having her sister experience that because Kelly Ho did a part time job soon after Casey started her kinder garden. That is true, she could not provide her the best of things but whatever it was, it was more than whatever Kelly Ho had in her childhood.


    But that was the matter precisely. What mattered at the moment was--- the atrocities of life. Yeah, life has been too hard on Kelly Ho. Sometimes she just felt like getting free of this life and die alas, that option would do nothing but push her mother and young sister in the valley of predicaments. Kelly Ho could not even die on her own. She was forced to live an empty life that served problems and only problems. Nothing more.


    Kelly''s eyes blinked a few times, she looked at her sister''s face and forced a sardonic smile recognizing as to how innocent her sister was. She did not know why was her sister actually crying for.


    "I am sorry, I can''t help be of any help to you and mom. I am just.. Useless. I am sorry..." Kelly Ho absent mindedly mumbled.


    Her sister curiously yet fearfully saw her sister getting up from the ground and direct towards her room as her fingers wiped the tears of her cheeks away. She saw Kelly Ho sobbing two times before she slammed the door behind her back and disappear from her gaze.


    Their Mother worked as a worker in the nearby mill. Two days in a week, she worked overtime. And today, it was one of the two days when she worked overtime and came home late in the early morning before sunrise. Casey Ho cried on their brutal fate as she felt lonely.


    She had her sister yet her heart throbbed inside her ?h?st feeling lifeless. If there, her mother was working like a servant twenty-four into seven so that she can meet the daily expenses of the daily life with her wages then here her compatible and skillful sister was crying on her defeat since she could not get a job today.


    Casey Ho sobbed softly while sitting in the same place her sister left her at, and cried, "Do something God. I don''t like to see Kelly cry. You know how innocent she is, how can still let her go through all this? If you really want something, take it away from me but please don''t hurt my sister. She is a pure soul. Please God, do something for my sister. Please." Casey Ho hugged her knees while the sky outside grew darker and darker.

 Chapter 31 - 29. The call from the unknown number!

    The night was shorter than expected. The day was bright however the sky was still gloomy and grey. It rained heavily the other night. Kelly Ho who was wide awake in her bed the entire night stared at the ceiling of her room while her wet lashes conveyed what must have happened to her the whole night.


    She was in the bed but awake. It seemed like the sleep was not ready to engulf her. Kelly Ho laid like a lifeless corpse in her bed thinking about the atrocities of life.


    Her mother and sister came to call her for breakfast one after other however Kelly Ho was so ashamed of facing them at the moment that she refused to go out. It was now afternoon, her mother must have left and Casey Ho have left for her school too. Kelly Ho closed her eyes trying to get some peace since her mind was extremely occupied reminiscing her badly memories.


    She was a small kid when her father died. She remembers the moment very well because it happened after her younger sister turned three months old when her father passed away. Things have been difficult ever since then. But when she grew up, was the real time when Kelly realized what difficulty means.


    She was fed of thinking about the demerits of life and as for the moment she was thinking about the only alternative that seemed easier to adopt¡ª suicide!


    Yes, the whole night yesterday, she kept thinking about committing suicide. It will be painful and definitely leave her younger sister and mother in a devastated condition but things will become easier for the two of them. They will not have to struggle and thrive for earning more since the expense of one person will be reduced after her death.


    Kelly Ho thought about all the possible advantages that her family would get. She also thought about mentioning Emmett Li''s name in her suicide note and mention that he was the reason why she died! It would be wrong but his name in the suicide note could be beneficial for her mother and sister as they could get a good compensation!


    Would it be wrong to hold him a culprit?


    Definitely no.


    He was the cause why she was forced to think about suicide. If he had not rejected her for the job then Kelly must have been preparing for her first or may be second day of job by now. She would not be staying in the bed if that savage heir of the Li''s would have offered her the job.


    It was him why she was suffering. It was him who did not offer her the job which she was very much hopeful of getting for. It was him why she had to cry for two days continuously after being rejected from every interview she went to. It was him why she was getting the unethical thoughts of committing suicide.


    All in all, it was that savage unmerciful cunningly brute son of a bitch bastard why she was struggling in life at the moment!


    Kelly sighed. Honestly, she cussed and killed Emmett Li in her imagination more than a thousand times already. The entire night she just pulled out her frustration on that savage heartless billionaire for her problems in life.


    "Nope, I will not commit suicide. I will never think about it either..." While her eyes filled up with new batch of tears Kelly Ho sneaked her hands of the blanket and pulled her body into a sitting position. She rested her back on her so called comfortable pillow and moved to grab the photo frame from the side of her bed that was kept on the small table.


    Her fingers ??r?ssed the faces of her late father, her mom and supportive sister when a tear of loneliness and defeat fell on the glass of the frame. "I am broken but I will not give up. I will never commit suicide, daddy. I will never disappoint you, Mamma. I will never go away leaving you alone, Casey. I love you all." Breathing a breath of perseverance Kelly Ho sobbed and pulled the frame near her ?h?st.


    Minutes passed but Kelly Ho did not remove the frame from between her hands and ?h?st. She wanted to cry her heart out, if possible she wanted to scream, but she didn''t. She was on a spree of crying as badly as she can while her mind wondered about all the bad times back to back.


    She was too tired to take the call but any ways she wiped her cheeks and grabbed the phone. Her eyes amazingly looked at the unknown number and sighed. She thought it was her boyfriend Eric Mo but surprisingly it was not him.


    In fact, she b?r?ly received calls. Kelly Ho was that girl who ever had loyal friends and whoever she had in her contact list were all selfish. They hardly called her. It was always her boyfriend Eric Mo who called her otherwise none.


    So after taking a few deep breaths, Kelly Ho tried to compose herself as she hit the green bu??on and put the phone near her ear, "Hello." she answered the call.


    On the other side, she heard a bit of distant unclear chattering and a woman revert her back, "Hello, Miss Kelly Ho. Good afternoon ma''am, my name is Sofia Tan, the manager from employees recruitment department from Li Enterprises. And I was instructed to call you on behalf of our CEO, Emmett Li, to inform you that you have been selected for the job of Chartered Account in our company."


    No sooner the woman stopped speaking than Kelly Ho almost dropped the phone on her ??p in response to her words, "What??" she literally shouted in curiosity and shock.


    While the woman on the other side heaved before she said again, "Yes ma''am. Congratulations to you that you have been selected for the job of the CA. So it would be great if you could just visit our office and submit all your required documents and meet our CEO before starting your job. I have sent you a mail with regard to the documents that are required for submission no later than Thursday." and Kelly shockingly sat against her pillow still trying to figure if what her ears heard was true.


    Does that really mean Emmett Li hired her?

 Chapter 32 - 30. Sharing the news with my darling, Eric Mo

    Kelly Ho''s point of view...


    "I hope you are clear with everything I told you far." the woman on the other side asked.


    I was not in the position to answer, yet I did, "oh, Yes"


    I heard her take a deep breath and say, "Hoping to see you in the office soon. Thank you for your time, Ms. Ho. Have a nice day ahead!"


    "Thank you so much. Thank you.. Thank you so much...." With that the call was disconnected from the other side and with a beep sound the conversation came to an end.


    Though a minute passed I kept seated in the same spot. My phone was still near my ear and my eyes wide in which and lips parted.


    I needed someone to pinch me and bring me back to the reality as this was really shocking for me to digest. The Li Enterprises, the biggest company in the town finally hired me!


    Like really?


    Wasn''t this any kind of a joke?


    Was someone trying to pull a prank on me?


    I instantly separated the phone from my ear and check the number. It was a landline number. Quickly I opened the True caller in order to check the ID and location where did the call come from.


    As soon as I hit the number without no name and visited it for further details, my mouth hung open as I read, ''Li enterprise, Xxxx street, Venice.''


    So this was why kind of prank. This was reality. And I really was called by someone from Li enterprises.


    "Yes... Yes.. Yesss..." I jumped on the floor after sneaking out of the bed in excitement.


    This seems like a dream. Surreally like dream because by yesterday I was sad and feeling depressed for not getting selected in any of the interviews that I gave.


    I was so much agonized by the cruelty of the tough life that I almost thought of committing suicide!


    Gladly I didn''t or else I had been lying in the grave already. And then I could have missed the call and the job.


    "Gosh!!! This is unbelievable! Mom and Casey will be so happy... I wish I could tell them."


    I jumped and jumped and jumped. I laid in the bed till the after and now that I was feeling energetic after getting the best call of my life, I wanted to share it with someone.


    I wanted it to be my mothers or Casey Ho but my bad luck, I can''t share the good news with them since they did not own their own phones.


    Even my mom did not possess a phone as our conditions were too damn tough. Only I had a phone. And if I ever wanted to contact mom or Casey, I have to call in the offices of their respective work place and school.


    But not any more. Now my mom and sister don''t have to walk all the way to the offices and take my call because I will buy them brand new phones with my first salary.


    "Whom should I share my good news with?" I sat on the bed with a thud whilst tapping my chin.


    I have friends but not very good friends. I have people who appreciate me but who should it be that deserves to get my first call and my best good news?

    The blood in my p?n?s dried reading Kelly Ho''s name on the screen of my phone.

    I don''t why but fear engulfed me like she would learn that I was with another woman behind her back.

    Not only will I lose Kelly Ho''s v?r??n?t? but also my hard work of years of wooing Kelly would go in vain.


    "Yeah, I am not lying. His manager just called me and asked to submit some documents today at the office. So I was thinking, would you come to take me please, I would like to go there with you." She asked.

    In the school,


    "Bloody idiot! I should never have allowed him to ?ssist me. Now he won''t give me the video unless I become friends with him!" Casey Ho huffed, she was pissed off over the stupidity of this wealthy new student of her class.


    Nope, he was not even her classmate. She had not given him that tag yet. Not after how he has been acting since the morning, she could consider him anything more or less than a freaking wealthy spoilt stupid who was now throwing his attitude.


    "Look at his fu?k?n? face!" They were sitting in the English lecture.


    Her seat was in the third row, fourth desk whereas he was in the second row second desk, Casey Ho can very well see him taking down the notes in a diary while his eyes concentrated on the blackboard.


    "Okay students, I hope you remember about the camp and also that I have asked you to bring the fees for the same." The teacher removed a sheet of paper. "Good. Now come out one by one and hand over the envelopes to me, and sign this sheet along with the amount you are paying for the camp. Starting with you John... Come forward"


    "Yes ma''am..." Casey Ho lowered her head, she looked in her book feigning like she was not interested to look at the teacher while she collected the sum for the camping.


    Honestly, she was. She badly wanted to go to the camp but due to the financial crisis, she had to drop the idea and stay back at home. Like the previous time, the entire class was going except her. But what difference does it make to them the ones going to the camp? Certainly nothing.


    For the time span of the camping, somebody else would be given the opportunity to take over her badge and be the class president. The teachers won''t mind if she does not go because there were many who could act as a brilliant president for the class if it was not for her.


    "Ben, you are coming next. Be ready with your envelope!"


    Casey Ho looked up at the teacher in a front for a nano second, and in the manner her eyes met with Ethan Wang''s. He was looking at her and when she noticed him, he raised an eye brow along with a distant wave.


    However, Casey Ho was mad at him. She was crazily angry for in the morning when she requested him to give her the video, he refused. After that, he expertly avoided her like she never existed. But if you look at him now, he smiled as if¡ª she was his girlfriend!

    "Moron!" Murmuring under her breath Casey gritted her teeth, she focused back in the book.

    Ethan Wang chuckled. He shrunk his forehead enjoying her antics. She was indeed, one for all, a different piece. She was way different from all the girls present in the class.


    "Hey Ethan, can I get your number?" His eyes ripped away from her face for just a moment as one of the girls from their class stood across him with her phone.


    That was Tina. A sweet skinny tall girl with freckles on the cheek and thin lips. She stared down at Ethan seeing him look back at their president of the class before he forced a smile at her, "Sure, why not!" he took her phone and punched in his number.

    "No doubts, he is also a bloody jerk." Casey Ho rolled her eyes.


    She watched the teacher collecting the envelopes of camp fees as the students one by one came and signed on the sheet placed on her rectangular desk, not before transforming the ownership of nine hundred dollars to the teacher..


    "Ethan Wang... You are next. Please be ready." Ethan quickly got up after he smiled at Tina.


    Casey disgustingly twisted her lips feeling damned. She, for a second, wondered he was different and not the type of guy who loved to roam behind girls. But she was wrong. He seemed the same. How can he be different after owning thousands of dollars of wealth under his name. He supposedly needed to have girls around him on whom he could spend the moment for his p???sur?.


    But she envied him, and every other student in the class. Why do they have to be so fu?k?n? wealthy? Why not her? She had everything, a beautiful face, pleading nature, brains and talents yet she stood last in the line when it came to money. She was unfortunately a born poor in terms of money.


    "Huh I am jealous." She sighed, throwing her face in her right palm as the elbow of the same hand rested on her desk.


    "Jealous of me?" Her eyes snapped in disgust realizing that Ethan had occupied the empty seat in the front and staring down at her.


    Mike Jo was absent today due to sick health. And seemed like Ethan enjoyed his absence as he got to utilise his chair, "I asked you something, Casey Ho. Was that me who you felt jealous of? Or that girl who asked for my number?" He was sitting hugging the back of the chair whilst facing Casey Ho while his arms rested on the back of the chair.


    "You? Go back to your seat." Although she could simply bang his head with her fist or with her textbook, Casey Ho rather ordered him to leave as every single eye in the class was moved in their direction as Ethan Wang sat before Casey and talked.


    He was the God damned heir of a diamond merchant, it was obvious to catch attention as not everyone was as wealthy as him.


    "Hey, look there..."


    "Look at Ethan Wang, he is sitting with President Casey!"


    "Is she his friend already?"


    "I hate to say but they look good together!"


    Distant chattering echoed in the classroom. From every corner a petulant remark caught Casey Ho''s ears. Much to her surprise, even Teacher Juliea had her eyes strangely gawking in their direction while she did her work.


    " Why? I want to talk to you..." Casey hugged aggressively. "I like your company. And you see, I don''t know anyone better than you in the class, so I think it is wiser to stick around you then." He shamelessly spoke.


    Gladly, he was soft with his tone or else the others in the class could listen to his words.


    Casey Ho anyways clenched her jaw while paying attention to the disappointed looks the girls around her gave her, "Look, just go away. Can''t you see how everyone is staring at us??? Look behind you, the girls are glaring at me because of you!" She voiced.


    "But I don''t know the cause of their glares. And what''s wrong if I talk to you?" Casey shockingly stared at him with her mouth hanging open. "They can glare at you if they want, but the truth won''t change that I am not interested in anyone of them." he shrugged his shoulders.


    His words were annoying. Casey Ho badly wished if she could just behead him!


    "Then who are you interested in? Me." Her palm covered her mouth after Casey Ho absent mindedly blurted that out hence catching everyone''s attention, including the teacher.

 Chapter 37 - 35. Visiting Li Enterprises

    "What?" Casey Ho''s eyes narrowed, she made the faces as that of a cry baby and sniffed. She glared his face maniacally as he raised an eyebrow looking amazed.


    Alas she had no words. Her mouth sealed after blurting that nonsensical question and double nonsensical answer she gave after that. All the eyes stared at her, pin drop silence prevailed in the room while Casey registered the girls, standing on the left in a group, fuming in anger.


    "Did you hear that?" A whisper broke the silence.


    The teacher any ways continued her work of collecting the fees for the camp after ignoring the silence in the class room, "Tina, you are next. Be ready with your form and fees." Tina nodded not before giving a last deathly glare to the class president!


    Ethan Wang, for all this while, chose to read her face. He was undoubtedly correct that this girl has a different persona. Just a day or two in this new city and he found someone who could be a good partner in crime as well as¡ª a girlfriend!


    He chuckled loudly, his eyes shining with excitement as he got up on his feet, "Nice joke, you won the bet, miss. President!" Here is the money for the bet that we had promised to pay the winner. He stretched out a few notes of hundred dollars and slapped it on her hand.


    "What are you doing?" Being perplexed and confused Casey Ho eyed Ethan a bit more dangerously than the previous time.


    Wasn''t he satisfied after putting her in such an embarrassing situation that now he wanted to embarrass her more?


    She huffed angrily, she struggled to pull her hand that was gripped by him but he did not seem in the mood to let him go. And that was what bothering her.


    Everyone in the class knew she was poor, not by wisdom but financially, and also the reality how much her family needed money. It was not hidden from anyone that Casey Ho studied in the school on scholarship while her mother and sister both work to make a living for their family of three. She did not even have a new uniform, just something she was donated by the ex student after her farewell.


    However, nobody made fun about it, perhaps today they would. They would bully her, make fun of her just because this stupid spoilt brat son of a bitch handed her a bunch of dollars she had never seen in her life so far, at least not in the pit of her hand.

    Tina who was standing near the teacher''s desk turned around and curiously eyed Ethan and Casey, "It was a bet?" She inquired again.

    "Oh, that way..." Tina scratched her nape. She quickly submitted the form and joined Ethan and Casey, "Really, Casey Ho, you guys bet it that way..." A forceful nod came from Ethan since the president was occupied with anger and frustration.


    Eventually the others in the class heaved a sigh of relief, they resumed with their discussion and funny stories together along with the teacher continuing with her work except Casey Ho who was throwing deathly glares in the not-so-innocent Ethan Wang''s way.

    "Thank you so much" Kelly Ho came out of the cab. She paid the driver and let him keep the change.


    Today was the biggest day in her life. She got her dream job, that too in the Li Enterprises, one of the best and biggest companies in the city. Her eyes twinkled with unfathomable zeal as she came sprinting inside the gates.


    Her feet b?r?ly touched the ground, it seemed! She was literally flying in her imagination, and it was indeed something to feel light for. She had finally got what she wanted. Now there won''t be any predicaments in her life no more. Because along with a good Salary will bring about changes and happiness in their lives.


    "Afternoon, I am Kelly Ho, I was called by the manager from the employees recruitment department for submitting documents. Could you please just tell me where I have to submit them?" With utmost politeness Kelly Ho asked, she flashed a warm smile at the woman on the reception.


    The lady on the reception smiled back, she was different from the one she had met last time. This one was a tad younger than the last receptionist and she smiled often unlike the previous one, "Oh yes ma''am, welcome to the Li Enterprises, I was actually waiting for you. Thanks for coming." excitement filled Kelly''s breaths.


    She cannot believe the woman at the reception was waiting for her until she told her the reason why, "I was ordered to inform the manager on your visit, I will just go and do the needful. Give me a second ma''am." The receptionist moved towards the left, she picked up the receiver of the landline and punched a few numbers on the dial bu??ons.


    Kelly Ho took a deep breath looking around her at the office environment she had been dying to work with! This was the place where she indeed belonged.

    ''God I am nervous, please help me this time. I don''t want to look like a fool in front of him again!''


    Sitting in the waiting lounge Kelly Ho prayed to the almighty.


    ''He is a nice person, I hope he will not trap me in the web of his words again. I am so looking forward to working with him in his company.''


    The meeting with the manager who called her was nice. Kelly was directed to see her before meeting CEO Emmett Li. She was as warm in person as she sounded on the call. The glint in her eyes showed it would be a nice experience working with her.


    Sometimes some people are a good influence on you, and the way the manager talked to her, Kelly Ho got the feeling that she would have a great time working here, she really can''t wait to work here.


    Her eyes gawked at the fine surrounding around her. The lounge was empty, Kelly Ho was the only human present in the room. There was not even an ounce of noise hurting her ears. The white washed walls with the leaves print design consoled her eyes. It was a nice feeling even whilst waiting in his company''s waiting lounge unlike all the other company''s headquarters she visited for interviews previously.


    It felt like she belonged here, indeed this was the place Kelly Ho was supposed to work at. She small scale company she earlier worked for neither respected her efforts nor her loyalty. And today, she could feel the happy feeling invading her heart that yelled earning respect here would be easier if she gave her best.


    "Ms. Ho, you are called by CEO Li, please follow me." Kelly Ho detached herself from the comfortable couch nodding her head.


    The woman who had directed her to the lounge had come to take her off, she had introduced herself as CEO Li''s secretary. Kelly Ho did not want to but this woman made her feel awkward around her. She was awfully rude. While she directed Kelly Ho to the waiting lounge she behaved as if she was a high class lady from a royal family and Kelly Ho was someone who came to work as her maid!


    It was not that Kelly wished to feel that however this woman made such a thought invade her mind against her will. Nora, his personal ?ssistant, was beautiful. Her skin was white as that of a doll, she had long legs which made her stand a few inches taller across Kelly Ho, her figure was perfect with big br??sts and a very petite waist that any guy would want to hold in his grip.


    She exited the lounge following the path his secretary took. Woah! Even her walk was charismatic. Kelly Ho had to leave a sigh of nervousness since she looked nowhere compatible in front of this beautiful woman. In fact, her old clothes conveyed that she came from a poor and low class family while Nora held her pride high for she was clad in a very expensive one piece dress that ended above her mid th??hs.


    Nevertheless, this time it was the moment she had been impatiently waiting for, so Kelly Ho immediately brushed away those thoughts that pulled her confidence down and instead focused on what and how she should present herself in front of the CEO.


    No words were exchanged between the secretary and Kelly unless they halted outside the CEO''s office, "He is waiting inside." Kelly nodded, heaving a deep sigh.


    "Thank you." Nora rolled her eyes on Kelly''s reply, she turned around and instantly left leaving Kelly''s poor soul alone.


    Hopefully, it will be a good meeting this time!

    Emmet Li looked up from his ??ptop when he heard a knock on the door of his office, "Come in..." he eased himself in the chair smiling widely when the door opened.


    The looks of his facade changed from normal to amusing ones when he recognized who it was, Kelly Ho. He maintained a soft smile watching her approach his desk, "Good afternoon, Sir." He lightly bobbed his skull pointing her to take a seat.


    She firmly obliged, settling in the chair beyond his desk and putting her file on it. He can see she looked a tad confident unlike the last time she had entered his cabin. Why won''t she be? She was finally given the job she yearned for. Emmett raised his eyebrows smiling to himself as he can''t wait to execute his plan!


    It was hard to take his eyes off of her face, she was as usual looking beautiful with her pink supple lips twisting and biting them. He held his urge of doing the needful for her. His mind pathetically imagined her being under him, in his bed, while he devoured those freaking lips of her that ignited a fire of passion inside his stomach.


    He could stare her mouth all day long but he cannot risk to act stupid before her. Emmett Li had to take it slow if he really wished to enjoy this phase of his life with Kelly Ho, who was officially somebody else''s girlfriend!


    "So you are Kelly Ho, my new accountant!" he remarked stretching out his hand above the desk.

    Nervously with a throbbing heart, she gave her palm in his rough one only to see him eyeing her with a narrowed gaze like she committed a mistake.


    "What? The file, I want your file, not your hand." She raised her eyebrows feeling dumb and pulled her hand out.


    "Sorry... I thought..." Her mouth failed to speak properly.


    Fuck, this is not how she wanted things to happen between them on their second yet the same kind of meeting where he made her feel nervous and awkward again and again!

    He lifted her face back and adjusted his coat asking for her file again. This time, without creating any blunder Kelly Ho handed him the needed stuff however, she clenched her jaw when he placed his palm right above hers under her file for a while until she pulled her hand back.


    "Uh, sorry!" She apologized again while Emmett Li pretended to have entered the zone of professionalism as he opened her file.

Like as it is said that a woman can sense if a man is nice or not just after he touched her, Kelly Ho cannot find out if it was bad or nice for she could not actually feel any such kind of feeling. Her heart fluttered as the air turned heavy and thick. And to be honest, she never felt this way even when Eric Mo touched her.


    In fact, sometimes when Eric Mo''s skin came in contact with hers, she felt uncomfortable at times but right now, after the CEO absent mindedly brushed his fingers and the pit of his palm with the back of her hand, she felt nothing closer to uneasiness!


    She hated it but it was strange that she felt nicer whilst staying in the same environment as that of his!

    ''Why is he taking so long?''


    Kelly Ho fretted. He did not take this much time during the last meet? Then why now.


    She kept praying to God with her focus fixed on his hands and face that showed no new expression from the last few minutes, "Hmm, this is great. But I wonder, are you really an accountant?" Kelly Ho restlessly changed her posture, she pulled up her hands from her ??p and rested them on the desk.


    Her mere action had Emmett Li instantly rip his gaze from her plump lips to her hands, precisely her fingers where he noticed a ring! A dialing ring that was not so very expensive but keeping in mind her financial status, he could claim she could never afford it herself. And then, realization gradually invaded his thinking and smiled to himself.


    It has to be her boyfriend''s ring!


    Never mind, Kelly Ho fumbled biting her lips. "Y-yes S-I-r.... with three years experience!"


    Kelly Ho nervously mounted her eyes to look at the ceiling in order to feel at ease, she was about to bring her eyes back on his face but he got up from his chair with the file in his hand. Emmett Li walked to the other side of the desk, near her chair and sat on his desk in front of her such that his knees faced her beautiful facade that she looked away taming his beautiful body.

Her lips quivered amidst the gasp that escaped her mouth for he, very smoothly, pulled her up like she was as light as a sheet of paper.


    His arm around her frame sent innumerable waves of shock and indescribable sensation, and when CEO Li pulled her a tad more closer to his hard iron like ?h?st, she melted in his arms, "I do remember Miss. Ho, but no, I don''t believe you" He raised a brow of doubt.


    "I swear I am not lying sir! I was an accountant befo¡ª"


    "Nah! I am sure you are lying because¡ª you are too hot to be a boring accountant!" He pulled her close, Emmett Li raised his hand and brought it near her mouth. A small sweet smile burst on his lips as her innocence already started playing with his heart, "Just look at you, you look¡ª like a model! I refuse to believe your claim, miss Ho." He honestly said, poor Kelly stalled as the time seemed to have stopped right there.

    "Ahh..." She whimpered uncomfortably getting out of his clutch.


    "I... I..." Kelly Ho nervously stuttered, her throat dried out.


    Her waist felt tingly sensations inside her shirt. She tried to act normal but the CEO and his crazy touch left her skin afire. There was sweat on her forehead between small wrinkles, she breathed in and out deep and fearfully as she struggled to maintain her composure.


    "Alright Miss. Ho, now that I have already approved your job, you can join in from tomorrow." Kelly Ho''s eyes glistened in excitement when Emmett Li spoke, he returned to his seat and mounted back in it.


    She curiously arched her back and concentrated on his words watching him shuffle through a few files, "I see all the potential in you that is required to be my accountant, and as a welcome gift for joining my Enterprise, I would like to give you a gift cheque!" He finally found what he was looking for between the files¡ª a cheque.


    Emmett Li forwarded it to Kelly with a small smile. He watched her hesitantly accept the cheque and stare at her for a while!


    ''I knew that this will make you feel relieved. I generally don''t distribute gift cheques to my new employees but you are special, and you need this. Hopefully, this will reduce some of your burden if not the whole!''


    CEO Li admired the shocked expressions of his new accountant in awe. After listening to her blabbering that day he sympathized with her. While here Emmett Li wasted thousands of dollars for nothing in a day, there was a family on the other hand that struggled to earn even a small amount of what he expended.


    It was just a cheque of five thousand dollars but the smile that erupted on Her face after she accepted that the amount written in it was not fake, left Emmet in a joyful feeling. Her looks were worth watching. He wondered what was going on in her mind as he somewhere solved half of her issues directly!


    "Uh, thank you... Thank you so much sir! Thank you. I am so grateful for this opportunity you gave me. I promise... I promise I will give you no cause to regret hiring me in your company. I will do the best I can. Thank you... Thank you so much, sir." Emmett wilfully nodded his head in understanding, he looked down at his files feeling delighted.


    Although Emmett Li bought many women''s v?r??n?t? with his money, here Kelly Ho was different. She also needed money but she was not like the other women. Her need for money was different and legit unlike those curt and cunning women who warmed his bed and stained his sheets with their blood just because she needed riches to get done an additional plastic surgery or br??st implantation!     Kelly Ho, without feeling nervous or hesitant, filled his palm with her little hand and warmly shook it, "Yes, sir. Can''t wait to join from tomorrow." She delightfully said before pulling her hand back. "Then, I shall take your leave." Kelly announced.


    A silent, forlorn and melting wind hit their faces. The time of departure came and as expected from the CEO, he hated it since she would be gone so soon, "Oh sure. Here is your file..." He unwillingly handed back her file and looked back at the door.

    It was indeed hard to predict life. Kelly Ho held the letter of her employment in her hand that CEO Li had kept in her file along with the bonus cheque and smiled maniacally.


    She felt free like a liberal bird. Although she had no wings, she could feel herself flying toward the highest peak of the mountain of success. It was as if she was given all the happiness of the world just within a few minutes. With eyes glistening with tear drops, Kelly Ho hugged her employment letter as well as the bonus cheque.


    ''Thank you so much God. Thank you for this wonderful day. I knew that you have planned something big for me. I knew that you will never let me stay sad for long. I never lost my hope despite all the tough times I faced because I believed it would be over someday! And looks like I was not wrong. My perseverance did not go waste. ''


    I lone tear sneaked out of her eyes. The cool chilly wind brushed her face and tickled her skin while Kelly Ho stood across the gate of the Li Enterprises. She did not care about the people passing by her side, or the comment she heard remarked by people that she was a mad person standing in front of a huge office building like an idiot! She just consumed the time feeling the moment that was just hers.


    ''Mom will be so happy after seeing this bonus cheque. We''d be able to pay all the due debts and still save a huge sum from the bonus for our living. Casey will be shocked when I''ll tell her that she can now go to the camp with her other friends and enjoy. Eric Mo will be proud of his girlfriend too! Gosh, this is unbelievable. This cheque is not just a cheque but a key to my family''s happiness. I will go and surprise Casey Ho at her school to begin with. I will take her to McDonald''s and give her a treat. Yay, I am so happy today.''


    Kelly Ho jumped flaring her cheque and letter in their air.

    "Hey Casey listen to me. Casey!" Ethan wang ran behind her. "I am sorry, it was my fault, alright."


    He followed her like a pup while she walked faster and further. Casey Ho was angry, she still can''t get over the embarrassment she had to feel because of him! The freaking bet she never fixed with him was annoying her. How on earth could he come up with such a stupid idea?


    And to top the disappointment, who told him to place the bundle of dollars on her palm? That looked so freaking ugly.


    "Just go away Ethan Wang, don''t run after me." Casey stopped before her locker.


    She placed a few books inside and removed three more books and stuffed them in her bag. Her forehead creased with more lines of tension and disappointment when she noticed many students from different classes, staring them weirdly.


    She saw their mouths moving and she could bet, they were talking about them only.


    "Look, everyone is staring at us again!!! Please stop this. Why don''t you understand that we should not roam together!!!" Casey tiringly said, she gritted her teeth together looking at a pair of girls clicking their pictures.


    She inwardly growled trying to run away from the cameras capturing her with Ethan Wang, but it was a sheer surprise when she realized he still followed her. A loud howl escaped her mouth as Casey Ho rushed toward her next class.


    Although it was the time for a short break, she could go to the canteen and fetch herself some food that was available to her for free due to her scholarship, but she chose to head to her next class as she refused to be seen with Ethan Wang.


    "Ugh, what is your problem Casey Ho? How many times you want me to repeat that I don''t care about them and their fu?k?n? eyes. I care about you and at this moment, I want you to take me as your friend."

    Casey argued entering the classroom. She was satisfied that the class was empty and there was no one. She sighed since she could now courageously face Ethan Wang and talk to him without feeling uncomfortable under suspicious eyes of other girls.


    " WHY CASEY HO?" She jumped in her spot when the loud slamming noise of the door hit her ears. "What is wrong with me? Am I not handsome enough to be your friend? Why do you refuse being my friend Casey Ho, tell me? " he said warily, his tone depicted defeat.


    Casey Ho''s heart banged inside her ?h?st when she looked at his face. He was red as a tomato, his eyes angrily glared at her like she was his girlfriend and he caught her smiling with another guy. The way he breathed, aggressively with deep inhalation, it caught her under the fire of an unknown trap but Casey Ho maintained herself.


    She took a deep breath trying to control her body and her crazy heart that was throbbing inside her as she said, "Because our statuses don''t match! You are too rich to be my friend and we cann¡ª" As as soon as Casey Ho opened her mouth to reason out her doubt Ethan got a hold of her face and smashed his lips on her.

 Chapter 43 - 40. Second kiss taken away too!

    Casey shivered, she froze in his arms as his lips finely and gently moved across her mouth. Her eyes oddly widened realizing that she was being kissed! And the kisser was no normal guy but the heir of a diamond merchant who was d?s?r?d by every second girl of the school.


    No, Casey Ho did not take herself lower, it was just that this was not right. She and Ethan can never be together. Not after this sudden and forced kiss he pulled her into.


    Her eyes kind of burned and heart pounded inside her rib. She tried to move and wriggle but to no avail. He had caged her so badly that Casey could not even make a liberalized move on her part. She just closed her eyes and felt his lips moving on her, her mouth never moved an inch nor responded to the kiss.


    He was gentle. His soft lips ??r?ssed her mouth regardless of that her body could not feel anything than fear. And when hot tears cascaded her eyes, Ethan silently pulled away from her mouth and moved away.


    He looked at her face with deep respiration taking place. He could still feel the touch of her smooth lips on his mouth. This was really cool nevertheless having noticed her tears made him realize what he he did!


    Ethan looked around the classroom. The lights were on and the class was empty as hell. The break between the two lectures was still on going and as a result he breathed in relief. He needed to get things cleared between them without getting noticed by anyone.


    But on a serious note, what things he wanted to clear? Nobody knew.


    He simply placed his hands on the wall on bother the sides of Casey Ho''s face and looked down at her. Her head was lowered and cheeks running wet with alignment of tears that kept constantly falling from her eyes. Her pale facade showed she was new to this intimacy.


    Ethan gulped a sharp breath, his eyes busily read her facial expression that were hurt before he opened his mouth, "Look, If you think I will apologize for this then you should know ain''t doing it at all! I font don''t regret it." No sooner he stated that than Casey Ho''s peepers widely stared him in shock.


    Firstly he kissed her, and secondly he said he did not regret it and he won''t be apologizing! This guy was the personification of brutality.


    Casey clenched jaw as another tear trickled down her cheek, "You bast¡ª" she was about to swear on his and push him aside but Ethan held her arms.


    He jerked back to the wall and kissed her mouth yet again. This shameless act of his left Casey Ho in another wave of astonishment. This brute not only took away her first kiss but also the second just within few minutes.


    However this time Casey was sure she would not allow him take things his way. She bit his lower lip and pushed him backwards, "Fuck, that was cruel!" he annoyingly remarked ??r?ssing his lower lip.


    Not even had he gotten a chance to get over the pain on his lip that another sharp wave of shooting pain rushed within the veins of his face when Casey Ho pasted a punch on his cheek.

    "How dare you?" She pushed him on the shoulders once more.


    No matter how brave Casey Ho attempted to act, she felt small in front of him. Ethan towered her body and made her feel inferior. She b?r?ly reached his chin, and the way he liked down at her it looked as if he was bantering with a kid. Ugh, he should not have been this tall. His height made their fight look one sided!


    But anyways she controlled her focus. Casey tried to slap him again and this time her hand was grabbed, "Let me go," She shrieked but in vain. Like previously he controlled her moves easily and Casey Ho could not do anything.


    "Ethan wang, you are really..."


    He shushed her with a glare. Earlier he discerned amused by her come back but now, one can clearly see that he was pestered beyond limits. It should be her who should be pestered regardless. Casey Ho maintained her tough amidst her wet eyes and glared at him back, "Let go of me, you jerk!"


    "Enough now, Casey Ho. One more swear and I swear, I will kiss you to death!" He angrily grumbled under his breath.


    First of all he interrupted her, and now he was giving her warnings. This was really not fair at all.


    Casey wriggled under his grip. She clenched her jaw struggling to get freed from his hands, but the way his fingers bit on her wrists, it hurt her severely.


    "Stop wriggling, Casey Ho! Stop it..."


    "Just let me go, you bas¡ª" Casey quickly paused remembering his threat. No, he won''t give him another chance to kiss her. "You are that seven letters thing." She swore on him in her own way.


    This was not something to smile on but Ethan did. It was hard to act rigid. Her actions really affected him, and that was why he wanted her. She was perfect for him, perhaps he could be her prince charming too!


    " Look, I don''t know how to express my feelings, so please try and understand. I really like you Casey Ho. I don''t know what''s stopping you but I promise, I promise I will be your ideal guy." He said.


    Casey on the contrary widened her eyes, feeling more uncomfortable.

    Kelly Ho waited outside the school''s gate excitingly. She happily looked beyond the gate waiting for her sister. The students have started coming out of the school. She amusingly adored their smiling faces, the giggles and the cute handsome teenage guys who caught many girls'' attention.


    This eventually made her reminisce about her school life. Although she did not have any good memories, Kelly Ho enjoyed school. Despite the bad life and financial crises she managed to enjoy school.


    "Hii!!" Kelly Ho waved in the air after her eyes found Casey Ho walking between the other students.


    She was though looking on the ground while she walked further, "Why does she look so sad? May be because she didn''t pay the camp fees! I remember her telling me that the teachers are collecting the fees this week. ''


    Kelly Ho ended smiling. She looked at her letter of employment and cheque. This was her strength. The strength that would bring immense joy in their lives.


    "Surprise, Casey!" Kelly Ho squealed in joy rushing toward her sister after she came out of the gate.


    Casey''s mouth curled into a bright smile when she saw her sister, "Kelly Ho!" she hugged her amusingly. "What are you doing here?"


    "Came to surprise you baby sister." Kelly smiles, showing her letter to Casey. "Guess what, Emmett Li hired me. I am sooo happy."

    "Yeah. His manager called in the morning."


    "Really? What happened there? What did he say?"


    "He hired me. We talked a bit about my work and guess what, he also gave me a bonus cheque. Look at this!" Kelly eagerly handed it into her sister''s hand.


    "Oh my god, this is unbelievable. I am So happy. Is this true????" Casey expressed her shock and excitement together.


    "Hey look there, Ethan Wang. Gosh he''s so hot!"

    The Ho sisters stared at the group of three girls on her left who excitingly pointed on the other side of the gate. There Ethan Wang came walking toward the gate. He had goggles put on and a back jacket over his uniform.


    Having come out, he was surrounded by a bunch of bouncers who helped him reach his car, "Oh my gosh! He is so rich and hot. I want to date him." One of the three girls spoke watching Ethan sit in the car and leave but not before looking in the direction of Ho sisters!


    On the other hand, Casey Ho hesitantly twisted her lips looking down at her shoes as she wondered, ''He wouldn''t bother me no more, I said no to him after all! He doesn''t know but it is impossible for us to date each other. He is too rich for me, and I am too poor to match his high standards!''

    "I am surprised, Kelly! You finally got your dream job. Congratulations, dear sister. I am sooo happy for you!" Casey squealed in p???sur?, she clapped her hands and excitingly shut her eyelids together.


    They were sitting in a coffee shop. Kelly insisted on going to a restaurant and trying out some good dishes but Casey refused. She did not want her sister to spend money uselessly. Moreover she was not in the mood to celebrate her sister''s success while her heart felt sad and broken.


    "Thank you, sweety. It has not been possible without you and mamma''s support." They passed each other a smile. "By the way, if you don''t mind then may I ask you what is going on between you two?"


    Casey instantly lifted her eyes and concentrated on her sister''s face, "Who two are you talking about, Kelly?" she asked, biting her tongue in nervousness.


    "You know it well! I was talking about Ethan Wang and you. I saw him glaring at you before he sat in his car." So that was the case, that meant Kelly Ho saw his eyes. It was not Casey alone who noticed him but her sister too. "So tell me what happened between you two? Why did he eye you like that?"


    The Ho sisters patiently waited in silence. The order of cappuccino dropped a minute after the question hit Casey Ho. She was not very sure about sharing it with her sister. Her heart thumped within her ?h?st as she su?k?d on the straw of her cappuccino and struggled with the formation of her words.


    It was a happy moment that her sister got the job nevertheless, at the same time, it was mind blowing for her since she shared her first kiss with the most handsome guy of her school, and turned him down at the next second. She was not sure if she should tell her elder sister about her kiss.


    Kelly would definitely show her anger as Casey had b?r?ly turned eighteen some months ago and she was already starting to experience an intimate affair with a guy who was neither her boyfriend nor her friend!


    "Hey, where are you lost? I am waiting for you." Casey watched her sister''s stern face, wide eyed.

I loved the way she smiled. Gosh, this girl is making me crazy! I wonder what all she has to show me further. I am sure, she will be interesting as heck!" He chuckled recollecting the memories of their second meet.


    Henry smiled, he gulped down the entire drink below his throat and sat straight. It was no new thing for him to celebrate such an event with Emmett Li because after every month or two, a new girl catches Emmett''s attention and he embarks on the journey of wooing the new chick and leaving the old one. He would enjoy his s?xu?? life with the girl until he abandons her or she cheats him with another guy, and again the same cycle would occur.


    And from where he can see, it was visible, this was nothing new! Emmett Li once again was bewitched by a random girl, and very soon he''d be bored by her. And then, the same thing would begin again!

    "How long?" Emmett repeated the two words, thinking deeply over it.


    He was the dumbest person you would ever meet but sometimes he talked about things that needed real attention. And at the moment, his mention of the time Emmett was thinking to invest in Kelly Ho surely needed to be planned.


    However, was he really using her for s?xu?? benefits?


    Emmett Li lifted his head with a small heave erupting from his mouth. He fixed his pupils on his friend''s facade as the glass of his drink slipped from his grip, "hey dude, watch out!" Henry alerted looking at the spilled liquid staining the furry white carpet spread under their feet.


    The eruption of his voice pulled Emmett out of his reverie, he looked at the mess he created on the carpet and got up avoiding eye contact with Henry.


    "I am sorry, I will have someone clean the mess." He excused and strode toward the exit of his room.


    Henry sat with a quizzical look watching his bruv''s retreating figure. He shrugged his shoulders, shoving off the thought of his abrupt leave and proceeded to enjoy his drink.

    Here in the cabin, Emmet Li called a peon to clean the mess within his restroom. He sat quietly in his leather chair thinking about his further plan.


    ''How long do I want to invest in Kelly Ho?''


    He asked himself, having no clear about it.


    The game has not even begun yet, and his friend already shoved that freaking thought in his brain.


    There was so much to be done, but here he was forced to think about when it would end. Emmett grunted, shaking his head crazily.


    ''This guy,'' he murmured in his respiration whilst rising from his chair.


    He rushed inside his relaxing room and grabbed Henry by the collar, "You bitch, why do you hate me so much?" Henry was taken off guard.


    He looked around himself then at Emmett, as he asked, "What did I do, bro?" He placed the glass on the table and rose to Emmett''s height.


    Henry scratched his head sheepishly, having no idea as in what did get into his friend all of sudden! He nervously creased his forehead feeling Emmett Li''s eyes piercing burning holes of shiver in his face.


    "I didn''t even start anything and you already asked me when it''d end!" Emmett exclaimed.


    "So what is wrong in that?"


    "Everything about it is wrong."


    "How? You tell me."


    He was not wrong. He was in fact right on his part. Although he was no lenient guy himself, Henry cared about the innocent girl his friend was planning to trap in his clutch. That poor soul was not even aware of the real reason why she was hired! And that was enough for Henry to ask.


    "Don''t argue with me, Hen! And don''t inquire me every now and then. Let me live my life and enjoy it. I will take it as long as I want to. You don''t have to worry about anything." Emmett seriously ?sserted.


    He loosened his tie with his eyes fixed to his friend''s face. Henry awkwardly twisted his lips ?ssuming that his friend has something else to say apart from his previous ?ssertion.


    "I know what I am doing! And I know it is not wrong in any matter. So please stop being so demotivating! Come on, let''s go out chill." Henry defeatedly sighed, he kept his arm around Emmett''s shoulder and the two of them walked out.


    It was of no use to explain anything to him either, he was not from the one who listened to anyone''s warning! Emmett Li was from the category of people who learned from their mistakes after committing them.

 Chapter 47 - 44. Caseys plan for her sisters new beginning in life!

    The night crawled in unfortunately earlier than expected. Casey Ho laid in the bed looking at the ceiling with a guilty heart. Kelly Ho and her mother were asleep. She just went to their rooms to look check upon them and found them sleeping peacefully.


    The evening was really amazing. It was one of the best evenings they had in years. Casey Ho never saw her mother cry out of happiness before. Yeah, today her mother''s eyes watered with the tears of joy unlike the previous times where she cried being sad. The cheque that her sister got from her boss brought a big smile on their mother''s face. They ordered food from the restaurant for the first time in several years.


    Although Casey Ho enjoyed every bit of the day, except from the hours spent in the school, she was still not entirely happy. Yeah, her heart did not feel content or happy at all. The thoughts of Ethan Wang and his proposal kept her occupied, throughout. She could not brush away the looks of his face when she said him a no. She could not overlook the memories of her first and the following second kiss that guy stole away from her.


    "Ughhh, what is wrong with you, Casey? Why don''t you sleep?" She scolded herself, turning to the left side.


    She huffed in frustration because sleep was far away from her eyes. And when, ''You like him, and rejecting his proposal absentmindedly was your problem.'' her heart replied to her.


    Casey Ho''s heart skipped a beat. She uncomfortably bit her lips knowing nothing how to react.


    Her heart was right somewhere that she liked that guy. He was charming. He has everything she dreamed her prince charming to possess. But when he approached her, she turned him down.


    That was needed though. They came from two different worlds. If he was Prince Phillips then she was Cinderella, but life was no fairy tale. Unlike the story, the two of them could not be together. The story showed equality between the two people coming from different classes but the reality won''t.


    "Nope, I don''t like him. I could never. Neither I deserve him nor he deserves me. We are impossible. And as soon as he learns that, it is better for him." She concluded and closed her eyes to welcome slumber.


    Casey Ho woke up early in the morning. She looked at the clock until her eyes widened, "Shit, I was supposed to be ready already." She crazily said, getting out of the bed.


    She gathered her school uniform and dashed outside her room toward their common washroom in order to have a bath. Kelly Ho had promised to drop her school today. She said that she would be dropping her to school before going to her office, and Casey could not find any better moment to show Eric Mo''s video to her.


    She has planned everything beforehand. Casey Ho has plotted how to go about with the plan. She mostly reached school at the same time as Ethan Wang, and since he had Eric Mo''s video, Casey Ho was sure to show it to her sister today any how. She got this idea in the middle of the night.


    Nevermind, She came out of the washroom drying her hair with the towel. Casey Ho quickly grabbed her bag and ran in the direction of her sister''s room. Casey knocked the door before opening it and, "Good morning." She wished her sister was preparing her bag.


    Casey admired her elder sister and adored her face. ''I pray to God that you stay happy, always dear sister. And today, would be the beginning of your new life.'' She wondered entering her room.

 Chapter 48 - 45. The crash

    The Ho sisters boarded the bus together. The happiness and joy appearing on Kelly''s face made her younger sister smile serenely. She hardly spoke except for answering her sister in ''yes'' or ''no''. Kelly ho was more than excited! Her pupils shone with unutterable curiosity. This was finally the phase of life she was waiting for.


    A life where she had a decent job, a happy mother, and a younger sibling who was able to enjoy her school life without having to think about the conditions at the house, "Uh, I hope you took the envelope I have left on your bed!" Kelly inquired, looking at her sister''s face.


    Casey fixated her eyes on her facade and nodded, "oh yes, I have safely kept it inside a book of mine." She smiled.


    The winds were harsh today, it trumpeted vigorously as though someone was fanning with a hand fan. But the environment strangely varied, and the clouds turned grey. The sisters looked out of the window of the bus as Kelly stated, "I love such an environment, it looks so romantic. Don''t you think such a lovely atmosphere provides comfort to one''s heart!" Casey bobbed her head in agreement.


    Her sister was right. Such an atmosphere looked like a set of a romantic film. No doubts that it provided comfort to the watcher''s heart. They did not keep quiet for even a second alone but talked about stuff they planned to do further in the coming days.


    The bus stopped at the station near Casey''s school. The Ho sister got down the bus. As soon as Casey set her foot on the ground, her ?h?st was filled with excitement. She reached the school at the usual time, just sometime before Ethan''s arrival. They walked ahead, holding each other''s hands together.


    "Hi, Casey."


    "Good morning, Casey."


    Some friends encountered her on the way to school and bid her. They curtsied before Kelly and moved forward hence leaving the two sisters to have quality time.


    "Hey Casey, you are with your sister today," Tina asked.


    Casey greeted her with a pleasant smile. She shook hands with her sister and like the girls earlier, walked ahead of them while leaving the two sisters at peace.


    Once they were left again, Kelly moved her face to admire her younger sister. Her face proudly gleamed with happiness as if it was an honorable moment for her. Even though it wasn''t at the moment, but surely it would one day become since everything was going to be back at the track.


    "You know, those girls don''t talk to me nicely in the class." Casey maintained her happy smile.


    But the statement she said, made her sister scrunch her eyebrows and look at her in shock, "What? Then why did they talk to you so nicely now?" It was indeed something to express her astonishment upon.


    "Huh, why didn''t you tell me earlier? I would have twisted her hand while sharing the handshake." Casey rolled her eyes, listening to that from her sister''s mouth.


    Everyone knew Kelly was the most innocent thing anyone could see at the moment, there was no way that she would do something like twisting hands. She was too good to do that.


    "Because I could not. Despite hating me they admire you. They like you, sist!" Her reply made Kelly sigh in confusion.


    "That is confusing. I don''t get anything, Casey." They reduced their speed as they indulged in the conversation.


    Casey Ho stopped. She glued her eyes on her sister''s face and smiled cutely, "That is because you are beautiful, Kelly." She nodded her head as if ?ssuring her that every word she said was true. "They like you for your beautiful face and hourglass figure. Everyone loves a hot woman, you see." She tried to tease her sister.


    "You little clown come here..." Kelly stepped forward to hold her, nevertheless, Casey was quicker.


    She quickly got out of the spot and moved aside such that her sister could not get her even after taking a few long strides. Casey continued to move behind while her eyes teasingly watched her sister try to get her until "Casey watch out." She was hit by a car.


    Her body felt the jerk and kissed the ground. Kelly came running to her sister and bent down, "Are you okay? Shit." She breathed deeply as she eyed the deep scratch on her right knee.


    "I guess not." Replied Casey in a hurtful tone.


    She was about to meet the ground again when Ethan stepped ahead and held her by the waist. Their eyes met, yet none of the two spoke. Casey lowered her eyes as she sensed his eyes on her face. This was the first time Casey could not dare to speak even after getting hurt. Rather than shouting on him, she lowered her eyes while her fingers curled around his uniform.


    "Are you okay?" She heard him say.


    Her head moved up and down hence replying to him with her nodding skull, "Hmmm."


    "What hmm," Resonated Kelly''s voice. "Can''t you see you have hurt her knee. How can you be so irresponsible! You have a car that does not mean you will hit anyone like that. Give me your ID card, I will complain to the principal about you." She roared.


    The crowd gathered around and their cameras shot the scene. Girls angrily hissed seeing Casey in Ethan''s arms while the boys stared at the beautiful Kelly, "I am sorry on my driver''s behalf. But you should blame yourself for the crash for standing in the middle of the road, talking." Ethan announced such that Casey shockingly eyed his side face with a hanging jaw.


    She never expected him to talk to her sister like that!

 Chapter 49 - 46. By calling her poor you wouldnt be able to hurt her!

    Casey glared Ethan ever since he back answered her sister. Even after he helped her reach the school''s medical room, got her wound treated and sat next to her until she was given an injection¡ª she kept glaring at him as if he had committed the biggest crime of his life.


    "It is not a deep wound. You shall be fine in some time. Just don''t walk for a few hours and take a rest here itself." The doctor said handing over the sheet of prescription to Ethan.


    Kelly was getting late for her first day, so she had to leave her sister in the school. She hated to do so but there was no other alternative. It was the first day of her job hence she cannot risk reaching her office late on the first day of her work.


    In point of fact, after what her sibling had told her the other day, it was clear that this guy (Ethan) and Casey had some stuff to talk on. And that was why she unwillingly yet willingly let her sister stay back, and left.


    "Do I have to get these medicines now?" Ethan asked the doctor while he was dumping the used cotton in the dustbin.


    He rotated to spare him a glance and nod his head in a no, "Those are some painkillers and medicines she might need afterwards. Take them only if your pain does not subside." Ethan bobbed his head in understanding, "I''ll take your leave then." and bowed across the doctor along with thanking him, before he exited the medical room.


    It was now the two of them left in the entire medical room. The beds stayed aligned in the room with a curtain hanging between every two beds hence, dividing the two portions. Casey''s bed was in the extreme corner far away from the door. The curtain covered the two of them such that it was hard to say whether or not they were there!


    Minutes passed but none of them uttered a word. Casey expected him to take the lead. Ethan, on the contrary, waited for her. And when no one spoke, he initiated to get and leave.


    "I didn''t expect you to badmouth my sister. That was not a good manner." Ethan stalled as his ears heard her say.


    His back was facing her, so he cannot see her face. Neither could see. Nevertheless, it was clear the two of them were frustrated with each other.


    Casey ?ssumed he was guilty because he had not said anything yet. She took it as another chance and said in a hoarse, crude tone that burned his insides, "You are rich does not mean that you get the rights to disrespect others. You should learn how to talk with elders, Ethan Wang."


    As soon as she finished, he turned around and grabbed her arm. Ethan pierced her skin with his tight grip. He watched her lips pressing together as she felt the pain, yet he continued to hurt her without even thinking about the consequences.


    "You are hurt¡ª"


    "Just shut up!" He roared in a way that she grasped in shock.


    Casey held back her breaths realizing how dark his eyes had become. And the way he gritted his teeth together, it felt as if he would bite off a chunk of her meat from her body and chew her alive. She gulped her saliva struggling to get out of his hold but to no avail.


    Casey saw him hovering over her head with his hand on the side of her shoulders and dangerously grumble, "Yes, I am rich. I am mannerless. And I will talk the way I would like to talk with people. I don''t give a damn if it was your freaking sister or your mother." she was already hurt and his words hurt her more.


    Her eyes silently saw the wrath playing within his sockets and lowered her cilium as Ethan proceeded to say further, "It was my fault that I gave you too much attention, Casey Ho. I should not have flirted with a poor chick like you, who thinks everything is a disrespect if said in a different way. Well, I can''t expect anything else from you either because poor people like you believe they are the only respectful ones present on this planet. That''s your freaking mentality! Poor people, poor intelligence." He walked away after having said that right before her face.


    Casey finally let out the breath she had kept within her lungs as her fingers curled around the sheet beneath her. She clutched it tightly, trying to hold her emotions and tears together.


    "If you really don''t want me to insult you like this, don''t cross my path again" She listened to him say before the noise of the curtains moving caught her ears. The decreasing resonance of his steps gave her the idea that he was gone.


    Casey slowly opened her eyes and stared at the open curtain through which she could see his back while he exited the medical room. Once he was gone, she sat on the bed straight and pulled the pillow in her ??p. Casey shed some tears of sorrow before she nibbled on her lower lips and cried, ''I knew he would act like that someday. I knew he would bring about the topic of our classes and standards, and that was why I turned him down. I hate you Ethan Wang. I don''t regret ditching you. I had known you were playing with me. I just hate you.'' Casey wondered, hugging the pillow tightly.


    It had hurt her last day, but at present, she thanked her instincts for rejecting him. It is of no use to date someone who would insult you just because you are poor!


    Never mind, Casey was strong. She was not like her sister at all. She quickly shoved off the tears and put on a smile on her face. Such remarks were not new for her. She had listened to them all her life. And she was not going to lose herself just because of a freaking spoilt brat born out of a diamond merchant. Not at all.


    Casey cleaned her face and adjusted her hair. She carefully stepped out of the bed despite the shooting pain in her leg and wore her shoes. It surely hurt but not more than his words. Casey grabbed her bag and made her way towards the exit of the medical room, going towards her classroom.


    She was not weak, and she would show that to him.

 Chapter 50 - 47. Blamed for everything!

    Casey crawled her feet on the cold floor of the corridor that was leading to her classroom. The classes have started already. It was just that since she was injured, she was permitted to visit the medical room first and then attend the class, if possible.


    She was a bright and well-known student in the class, and even if she had d?s?r?d to stay back in the medical room and a rest she would have been allowed. Nobody would have minded. Nevertheless, Casey could not stay back.


    She could not stay back just because of Ethan Wang! His words hurt her badly. His speech was harsher than his grip around her skin. Everywhere his finger touched, left a stinging pain for Casey but she refused to halt.


    She was not a coward to stay back in an isolated place and feel bad of whatever that spoiled brat told her. She was strong. And with the motive to show him who she was, Casey proudly crawled towards the classroom.


    "May I come in, ma''am?" Having reached the door, Casey softly asked the teacher who was teaching the class.


    Along with the teacher, the eyes of the classmates sitting inside moved their pupils to the door and gawked at her face. She looked sick and pallid. Her lashes were wet with moisture while her lips wearily smiled at the teacher who inched closer to the threshold of the classroom to attend her.


    "Casey, are you okay dear?" the teacher asked as she forwarded a hand to Casey for helping her enter the class.


    Everyone saw her walking difficultly with her bandaged knee. Many sympathized with her while there were a bunch of girls who spurned her for getting hit by Ethan''s car!


    "Thank you, ma''am. I am fine, it is just that the people who hit others have no manners at all. They make mistakes and still have the courage to talk arrogantly." she directly pointed at Ethan while the teacher helped her sit in her seat.


    She sounded angry and annoyed, even the teacher can very well understand her frustration, but unfortunately, her lips were sealed tight. She preferred to stand quiet while Casey blamed Ethan for her condition.


    He was a goddamn son of a rich merchant who was also donating the school with his money: there was no way she could express her disappointment. In fact, the teacher tried to help Casey get some justice by getting Ethan suspended notwithstanding, the Principal denied.


    He rather requested the teacher to allow Casey a sick leave and get the matter dead!


    That was unfair but true.


    "Nobody has asked you to walk in the middle of the road! You got that injury because of your own mistakes. So don''t try to throw your blames on others." Ethan along with the teacher and the other classmates in the class turned their heads towards their right at Tina who interrupted the silence.


    She was standing beside her seat and flaring anger out on Casey for speaking against Ethan. The teacher sensed the growing tension and raised her hands in the air, "Alright! Stop it or you will be kicked out of the class. Let''s get back to the class." Tina quietly sat in her chair not before glaring at Casey as the teacher''s tone expressed more of her frustration towards her and not the class''s president.


    "Whatever." She murmured opening up a book and busied herself in it.


    He knew he was at fault too. His driver was actually talking to Ethan''s mother while driving the car. That was right that the Ho sisters were in the middle of the street but it was also a path where the speed of the cars were expected to be low.


    It was in fact advised to avoid driving vehicles until there since many students padded on that path. Ethan had known that, even then he ended grumbling at Casey''s sister all because he was mad!


    He himself felt bad for becoming the cause behind her wounds, but he was angry. He was annoyed for being turned down by Casey last day.


    His feelings for her were genuine. He could not understand why she cannot see them? She probably backed out just because of their status. And Ethan used it to hurt her today when she tried to blame him for everything.


    He was not the one to be blamed alone as it was her only who provoked him to say all that. Well that was what he ?ssumed.


    Ethan looked from the corner of his eyes the tear drops appearing on the corner of her eyes. She was trying to concentrate in the class while the teacher resumed her teaching.


    He closely saw her knee and the bandage that had turned dark red and wet with her blood soaking within the gauze. She was advised to rest but this girl purposely came here. And it hurt him somewhere to see her like that.


    Ethan stared at her profile that entertained pain and agony. He bit his tongue when Casey lifted her hand to clean her cheeks. Her tears were constantly brimming in her eyes yet she chose to look at the green board as the teacher solved the math problems.


    (After the lecture)


    He was waiting for the teacher to say something to him but when he heard her address Casey, his eyes lifted up and blinked at the teacher, "Look Casey, the Principal has asked me to get this matter solved. He was really annoyed to know that you and your sister caused an accident before the school." He shockingly changed his gaze from the teacher to Casey''s face simultaneously as he realized she was putting the entire blame on Casey.


    He held his eyes on Casey''s face for a while as she herself looked shocked and amused, "I am sorry ma''am, but did you just say that I caused the accident!" she exclaimed astonishingly.


    The teacher tried to put on a stern face and glare at her for raising her voice of doubt, but she failed. Even she knew that Casey was not wrong; however, it was about the reputation and funding of the school. She helplessly had to growl in order to make it look like Casey was wrong here but Ethan.


    "Enough Casey! I didn''t tell anything back in the class too when you blamed Ethan Wang. We have seen the CCTV footage, it was clearly visible that it was you and your sister who were blindly walking in the middle of the street." the teacher raised her voice, taking Ethan and Casey off guard.


    "But Ma''am!" With her voice heavy and eyes expressing utmost shock, Casey attempted to speak to the teacher but she showed her a hand.


    "Enough now. It is better if you stop it here. You both are wrong, and it would be better if you apologize to each other and end it right here. Think about the school''s reputation and discipline. We don''t want to attract bad reviews from the parents and other students, Casey. You already saw that everyone holds you wrong. So it is better if you guys stop it right here and now and get done with this matter now. " The teacher said at one while Casey painfully smiled with her hanging head.


    Why would the school take her side when they know that she was hit by a rich kid''s car?


    It obviously has to be her fault as she happened to be the poor one here!


    Casey took a deep breath before she raised her head again. Her lips gruesomely quivered as she struggled to part them and say, "I get it. Thank you so much." She sarcastically forced her mouth into an agonized grinned and excused herself to leave.


    "Alright, then. You must leave. And make sure you don''t get into any sort of problem like this anymore. We will not save you again and again." He nodded again with a disturbed heart and mind that was thinking about Casey and her eyes.


    She was not wrong yet she was blamed. This was the reason why she avoided dating him probably.

 Chapter 51 - 48. He is insane for sure.

    After exiting the staff room, Casey padded toward her locker to place her books back inside of it. She was too disturbed to attend the further lectures. She had heard that the rich people have things done easily, and today she saw how.


    It was not the Principal or the teacher at doubt but Casey herself. She came before his car, it was like that. Period. It was not Ethan''s car that crashed with her body, but it was Casey herself who had it done to herself. That was the truth. And that was how it was supposed to be taken as.


    "Look at the gold digger president! She thought she would get it easily. Huh."


    "Yeah. But she does not know whom she tried to hit on. Lol. Poor president. Her trick was nice but played on the wrong guy."


    "Exactly. I wonder why people tend to forget their status and class just because they got into the popular school of the city?"


    The same girls from her class threw words at her. They laughed and made fun of her. There were others too, who silently watched the scene and enjoyed how Casey was getting insulted.


    Oh no, this was not happening because of what she said in the class to Ethan but because one of the girls from Tina''s gang eavesdropped on the conversation that happened in the staff room! That means that they legit knew who was blamed and what was said to them.


    But no issues, Casey didn''t mind it. She knew this was prone to happen if not today than tomorrow. And it was now finally happening to her.


    Many times the girls from her class and the other division tested to get her under their feet, they could not find a cause regardless. Casey Ho was not only a bright student but also a perfect girl who avoided the guys which Eventually kept her as the best student ever.


    Unfortunately, her fake mask of being a nice and perfect girl was yanked out. The others can see what this poor girl was actually made up of. She was just a good girl in name but a bitch in reality who was attempting to attract the richest guy of the school.


    Until yesterday they thought it was Ethan flirting with her, but today they all saw it as in who was trying to get whom.


    Anyways, Casey neglected them. She emptied her full bag except for her pen case and her rough book. She locked the locker and zipped back her bag to leave. She had taken a step forward when something came flying toward her and hit her on her left cheek.


    "Aahh!" She reacted to the hit while holding her face.


    Casey heard a ripple of laughter resonate in the region as she lowered her face. Her eyes blinked some tears when she realized that it was a rotten tomato that was aimed at her. She raised her gaze to look in the direction where it came from, only to grit her teeth angrily since it was Tina and her group.


    "How dare you?" Casey shouted loudly. "Don''t you know that I can suspend you for this?" She arched her brow eyeing at Tina and her pack.


    The girls in front of her raised their brows whilst putting on a frightened look. They pretended to be scared and then eventually burst into laughter as they gave each other a high-five.


    "Nobody cares about your badge and position anymore, madan! Your mask has been removed. So stop that shit." Tina said aloud.


    The girls laughed again while Ethan who was standing at a distance and watching all this gulped his saliva as amusement washed over him.


    This was a second shock of the day. Ethan twisted his mouth moving his eyes over at Casey''s face who was still unable to get out of the shocking piece of information and compose herself.


    He knew that Casey got it all out of her hard work. He had to do a little bit of research in order to get her information. And whatever he learned about her was enough for him to fall more for her.


    Casey Ho was here in this prestigious school on her own. She was the only student studying at scholarship. Their school was private and schooled only the children of rich families, but she was the one and only middle Class girl who managed to mark her presence in this school and set a benchmark. In point of fact, Casey Ho had topped the entrance exam with the highest percentage in the entire school. She was selected as a president because of her clean academic performance.


    Alas, it seemed to be ruined soon just because of a menial accident.


    Never mind, Ethan put on a curt face as he made his way toward the lockers. He didn''t have to go there as it was the time for their next class and the books were in his bag itself, notwithstanding he abruptly halted before his locker that was right beside Casey''s. His presence brought about a wave of silence.


    Nobody said anything. It was only the noise of the flashing camera that killed the silence time after time as Tina''s pack started clicking Ethan''s picture. He tested to avoid them and absentmindedly rummaged through his locker when he heard Casey''s voice, "I am sure this must be satisfying you beyond limits since I am getting insulted. It must be a joyful sight for you to see the girl who dared to ditch you is getting ditched by her own teacher and classmates one by one." Ethan held the door of his locker and turned his head to his right as Casey''s locker was on his right hand.


    He twisted his lips, trying to frame a solid statement to defend himself but his mouth failed. Despite the growing anger inside his ?h?st, he cannot utter even a single word. Ethan saw how her dejected eyes blamed him. Her face showed how badly she was hurt both physically and mentally while her shivering body expressed its demerits.


    "Look I don''t want to create a scene here so bet¡ª"


    "I didn''t do anything, alright. And I have told you thousand times that I do¡ª"


    "You are pathetic, Ethan. I hate you." Earlier than Ethan completed his sentence, Casey concluded her feelings and hobbled past Tina and her friends, sobbing silently to herself.


    He stared at her retreating figure that was being eyed, glared and made fun of as Casey made her way ahead. He also watched the guys from the next division pointing at Casey''s body and passing perverted comments. He angrily grumbled and took a small run until he joined Casey.


    Having stalled right beside her, Ethan held her hand and turned her to face him, "You are injured, let me drive you home." Before Casey could open her mouth and counter, she was picked up by him in his arms and taken further towards the exit.


    "Let me down. I don''t need your fu?k?n? help." Casey growled between her watery eyes.


    The whole campus watched him boldly carry her, despite her attempts to get out of his arms, and take her outside the school''s gate. Ethan avoided all the cameras that captured their pictures and scurried near his car at once.


    "I don''t want to go with you. Don''t you, huh Ethan!" Casey was annoyed because he forcefully made her sit in the car and put the seat belt around her.


    "Let me drive it." He snatched the keys from his driver''s hand and settled inside.


    "Have you gone insane, Ethan Wang???" He avoided her boastful interrogation and threw his bag on the back seat before starting the engine.

 Chapter 52 - 49. First day gone wrong!

    At Li Enterprises,


    "What the heck?" CEO Emmett shrieked whilst getting up from his chair.


    "I¡­ I am sorry, sir! I am extremely sorry." Kelly curtsied in apology as she saw her boss staring at her shockingly.


    She was not in her senses. Her mind has drifted away to Casey ever since she left her away in the school with that mannerless guy. Kelly was so badly zoned out that she couldn''t even work properly on the first day of her office.


    Cherry on top, she spilled coffee on Emmett''s desk that was occupied with important files. He grumbled in frustration and got up quickly.


    "Where is your concentration, miss Ho! Even the manager complained about your work today. You even messed up in the canteen, is there something wrong with you?" He looked up at her facade while cleaning his desk with tissue papers.


    She stood like a criminal who was guilty for her actions. Kelly Ho cannot voice out her concern. Although she really needed to share her turmoil with someone but not with her boss.


    "I am sorry, sir." She slowly murmured in her throat.


    Being amused by his sudden pull and the touch of his skin on her waist, Kelly''s eyes widened in shock and thrill. Her hands fisted around his ?h?st while her eyes stared at the closer look of his face.


    He looked more handsome than what he appeared from afar. Kelly was spelled by the close look of his face that her heart beats rose. This guy was really a blessed brat. Not just money, he also has looks that can spell any of the girls by his charm.


    She did not want to think but Emmett was more handsome than her boyfriend, Eric Mo. Ugh, it was useless to compare the two as Emmett Li cannot have any comparison at all. He was one of his own kind. And hot, and s?xy and appealing too.


    ''But I have a boyfriend!'' Don''t know but suddenly from one of the distant corners of her mind, a sharp voice spoke as an alarm and Kelly came back to her composure.


    She raised her eyebrows before pushing him away, and turned around with a lowered head, "Uh, not-nothing, Sir." She answered with a hanging head and her fingers fidgeted together.


    Emmett was relishing her closer look as well. She was indeed an innocent beauty with positive bewitching eyes. He was forced to wonder how come a guy like her not-so-good-looking boyfriend got to impress her? She was gorgeously hot. Every cell of her body ignited with such fire that had the power to put any guy''s libido as well as s?x ablaze!


    He was loving her aghast expression until she pushed him aside. That was rude but cute. Especially the way she was standing at the moment.


    And the way her big round bosoms fell and rose, oh Jesus! That was killer. Emmett can''t control his d?s?r?s. If she were his girlfriend then he might have ended with her on the floor itself. He would not have cared about the workplace and taken her on the white marbles of his cabinet.


    "You sure, Miss. Ho?" He asked again, Kelly immediately nodded before he could get any other chance to inquire her. "Well then, go and meet the auditor on the fourth floor. He has some files for you to see."


    The CEO boss of hers only shook his head in understanding as he sat back in his leather chair to resume. Once she exited, he briefly shot his skull up to look at the door and sigh serenely, "I don''t know what is that fear that haunts you, Miss. Ho! But I ?ssure you, you won''t be fired for cute menial mistakes. I didn''t hire you to fire you just like that. You have to go a long way ahead¡ª with me." He naughtily chuckled earlier than he got himself occupied by his work again.

    ''I am stupid. Bigger stupid than a real stupid. God, how can I act like that in front of him? I am thankful he didn''t get offended, he would have kicked me out otherwise.''


    While walking silently towards the elevator, Kelly wondered with a fallen and full face.


    '' I wanted to leave a good impression on him today, but everything is ruined now.'' She sadly hung her head and she pressed the bu??on. '' I can''t help it though. My sister was injured in front of my eyes. She was bleeding, I don''t even know if she was given proper treatment or not. And that rich brat, gosh! That guy is the son of a diamond merchant, I just hope he does not create an issue for the Principal and the teachers must take his side. Please god, just don''t do anything wrong to my sister today. ''


    The door of the elevator opened with a ding sound. Kelly was about to step out when someone came across her and she bumped into their ?h?st, "Ehh, are you Okay?" She looked up at the face and, Jesus, that was another handsome guy standing in front of her.


    She sheepishly smiled and replied, "Oh yes, I am fine." the guy respectfully stepped aside and let Kelly walk out.


    Once she was out, he grinned back at her and entered the elevator, but before that he asked, "You seem to be a new employee?"


    "Yes, I joined today." Kelly answered.


    Kelly made a disgusted face and gritted. Golly! Not cute and handsome guy has to be a gentleman. Some are perverts too. One of them was the guy who just bumped with her.


    Anyways, Kelly shoved aside his thoughts and made her way further. She followed the route the head of department had explained to her, and reached the company''s auditor''s office.


    She heard that the Auditor was a woman. A hot beautiful woman. But crude! She b?r?ly talked to other female employees because of two reasons. One, she was too proud of her beauty. And second, she was proud of her position in the Li enterprises.


    But never minding the rumors about the Auditor, Kelly Ho knocked on the door, "Come in." She chastely opened the door and walked inside.


    "Good afternoon, ma''am." Kelly stood across her desk and watched her work on her ??ptop.


    She was amused to find the rumors about her beauty to be true. With an hour glass like figure, she looked awesome as her wavy long black hairs suited her fair gorgeous face. There was no flaw that she could point out.


    "You must be the new accountant!" Kelly heard her say.


    She nodded her head in a yes and replied, "Yes, ma''am."


    "Hmmm" She hummed while her fingers that were typing on the ??ptop keyboard halted. She parted her lips to say as she moved to collect the files kept on the other end of her desk, "Firstly, I am not your ma''am. We both share almost one and the same position. And secondly, I want you to," The Auditor suddenly paused when she lifted her head to look at Kelly Ho.

    "Come inside." Kelly forced a smile on her lips as she walked inside the cabin.


    Vera Zhao, every inch of her face and body spoke of the s?x appeal she effused. It was hard to take off your eyes from her face. Those soft supple lips, freak! If Kelly were a boy than being a girl, she must have tried to hit on her and get into her bed.


    She was that freaking gorgeous!


    "Ceo Li sent me to me¡ª"


    "Ceo Li? You just joined the company and already talking about Ceo Li." Vera curtly snapped back at Kelly, after she cut her in the middle of her statement.


    Her beauty didn''t, but her words she spoke did prove what she had heard about this auditor. Despite her lovely facial looks, she was a bitch from inside.


    Kelly surprisingly, with hesitation, tried to tackle the despise coming from her colleague. Once again she forced her mouth into a smile but a cruel grunt coming from the Auditor caught her by surprise.


    She saw the auditor shaking her head sideways as the looks of disgust spread on her face, "Jeez, I wonder how on earth Emmett can hire you. You are dumb." Kelly Ho, being shocked and humiliated by her words, lowered her head and bit her mouth in awkwardness.


    "Tell me about the company you worked for earlier. You must be a successful accountant to have joined New York''s top enterprise like that." Vera''s question made her look up at her face. "Tell me what is the position of the company you worked previously?"


    That depressed Kelly more that she was left with no other option than to stand quietly there. She didn''t even realize that she was an accountant. A freaking accountant!!! Her job was almost the same as that of hers. Just because she wore short hot dresses, she didn''t become superior. Huh.


    Who was supposed to tell that to Kelly. Her lack of response and stupid silence was making her look like a foolish girl here.


    "Ma''am, I.." Kelly battled to answer. She forgot she was everything but an employee. "I.."


    "What, I? Isn''t there anything else for you to say in your defense?" Vera, the disgustingly disgusted Auditor banged her hands on her desk such that whatever confidence Kelly had left within her, evaporated away.


    She glued her eyes with the shining white tile on the floor as her eyes welled up. She held her breaths as well as tears, thinking about how to run away. She could not stand her severity no more. Kelly did have a strict boss yet nobody ever behaved like that to her.


    And just like how her younger sister used to say¡ª "She was too freaking innocent to answer back!"


    "I asked you something and you cannot even open your lips and speak. Huh. I wonder what Emmett saw in you?" She spat venom whilst leaning back in her chair.


    "I saw what you could not see, Miss. Zhao?" With breaths hitching inside her lungs and a tear of emptiness cascading down her eyes, despite her hard attempts to hold it back, Kelly Ho moved her head towards the door of the cabin.


    "I saw what you can''t see. Her outstanding honesty." He had his hands inside his pockets while he waddled inside bit by bit. "Her fantabulous scores and degrees in university are what I saw. Her amazing performance at her previous workplace is why I chose her. Her fair code of conduct and impressive presentation is why she is standing here. And her beautiful appearance tops the chart at first." Emmett neared the desk, standing opposite to her shocked eyesight, he leaned forward with his hands on the desk.


    Emmett gave her a challenging look. Kelly failed to interpret the true meaning behind his last sentence but Vera Zhao caught it beforehand. She felt so exasperated that she let out a grievously annoyed hiss and got up from her chair.


    "I was talking to my new colleague, CEO Li" She opened her mouth to speak.


    Nevertheless, CEO Emmett seemed in no mood to entertain shit today, "Talking? Were you really talking, Miss. Zhao?" He sarcastically threw back at her. "I don''t see any talking happening here except for humiliating!" He swung his head around to spare Kelly a glance, and noticed her wet eyes and soaking wet and pale cheeks.


    The sight of her weary face and red shimmering eyes did something to his heart. His jaw automatically clenched as his guts felt hurt at the same time. Emmett kept staring at Kelly''s hanging face for a while before he attended Miss. Zhao again.


    His calmed facade suddenly transformed into a hissing growl as his dark eyes glared at her like the eyes as that of a hungry direwolf. His excruciatingly dark expression made Vera gulp her saliva in fear.


    "Miss. Zhao, Miss. Ho is not your ?ssistant to say the least. And the power of your position gives you no fu?k?n? right to talk like that to any employee, secondly. I never raised a finger of doubt on your abilities despite getting a couple of complaints against you. But this," He pointed back at Kelly. "Is not appreciable." he completed in a serious tone.


    "I sent her to you so she could feel comfortable with you since you two have to work together. But all you did was hurt her morale, and throw shit at her silence. I am disheartened by your behaviour. I am sorry but I will have to consider your rudeness and suspend you for a month."


    "What???"


    "But Emmett,"


    "You can start collecting your stuff and prepare to go on your holidays, thank you for your time."


    "But listen to me, Emmett,"


    Without listening to her no more, CEO Li grabbed Kelly''s hand and strode out of the cabin, leaving a fumingly weeping Vera behind.


    He quite aggressively banged the door in the name of closing it. Emmett dragged Kelly out of the corridor into a place that was comfortably silent for both of them. He let her hand go and watched her face, "Look up at me." he demanded.


    But only if he knew how hurt she was, he would not have asked her to look at him. The day was the worst. Kelly could never imagine having such a day in her life. Although her life was no fairy tale with a big castle for a house and a charming prince for a boyfriend, she at least didn''t have to live such moments in life.


    She was hurt by whatever that happened to her, this was something that hurt her the most. This job was supposed to be a ticket to her happiness. Then why was it being a pain in her ?ss from the very beginning itself?


    Never mind, Kelly refused to look up. She, like an hurt child, stayed with her head hanging low while tears fell from her eyes. She was standing in front of the man who ruled the hearts of millions of girls who died to see him in person, yet she could not abide by his demands and see him.


    Regardless, when she didn''t, Emmett himself made her look at him by forcing her face up with the help of his thumb under her chin. He twisted his mouth before elevating his other hand to wipe her tears. Emmett found her closing her eyes so as to tame the touch of his fingers and smile. He loved the way she reacted towards his touch.


    Emmett immediately moved away, ?ssuming that this was not the correct time and sigh. He slowly ??r?ssed her jaw which caused her to open her eyes and look right through his eyes, "I think it is enough for today, Miss. Ho. You must take a half day off and go home." As much as it relieved her heart, it caused hla haywire inside her system.


    Kelly amusingly eyed his face as the gratitude she had for him increased a bit more. Are all the CEOs really ever so nice? Or was it just Emmett Li, an exception!


    No matter what he was, Kelly can''t help but thank him a thousand times for his kindness. She really needed to go home soon not because she was hurt by the cruelty of the first day at work but because she d?s?r?d to see her sister real quick. Their mother was not home either, which meant that Casey must be alone at home.


    "I will ask the HR manager to mark you present at work for the full day. You go home." Kelly innocently sniffled in the place of thanking him while Emmett Li smiled at her antics.

    ''I will give my best tomorrow for sure, sir. Thank you so much. Thank you so so so so soo much!''


    "Stupid woman!" Chuckling to himself, Emmett sat in his chair recollecting Kelly''s words.


    She just left his cabin, and he was already missing her hang. Gosh, she scarcely stayed there in his cabin yet he missed her around. This was crazy but cool.


    "Had she left already?" Emmett asked himself as he got up from his leather chair.


    "What. The. Fuck."


    Kelly Ho was there, standing on the other side of the gate, hugging her boyfriend!!!!

 Chapter 54 - 51. A promise of true love!!! Will he give her?

    "What the fu?k!" Emmett Li exclaimed in bewilderment as he saw out of the window.


    He was beyond shocked and burning in jealousy watching Kelly clinging to her boyfriend like he was her everything. Here, Emmett fired his five years old auditor who was also one of his secret beautiful friends just for Kelly. And there, she was sticking to her boyfriend like it was him who saved her.


    Although that irked him, watching how she was taken in his embrace by her boyfriend, Emmett composed himself and bu??oned his coat. He normally breathed and walked back to his chair in order to resume his work, not before thinking, ''She really loves him. It will be interesting to be a part of her lovelife. I want to know how she will tackle the heat coming from me while managing her relationship with her boyfriend. You are driving me evilly crazy, Miss. Ho.''

    Outside the Li Enterprises,


    "Eric! I missed you." Kelly sniffled, hugging him tighter than ever. "Why didn''t you come to drop me earlier." She cried like a baby while Eric can''t help but chuckle silently.


    "Ohh darling, I wished to come but you know my father and his strictness. I was helpless." He lied, rubbing her back up and down. "I just returned from a delivery and then quickly came to see you. I missed you too."


    He was cheating her behind her back yet Eric had the courage to lie to her. Did he really miss her? Perhaps Yes. Because the way he smiled and amusingly attended Kelly, it seemed like he really missed her.


    "Let''s get going first. We can continue the cuddling at my house." Eric removed her arms from around his neck and pulled her towards his bike.


    She didn''t mind him holding her by the wrist and taking her towards his vehicle. After they both hopped on the same, Kelly snaked his waist and let out a few cries near his shoulder as Eric wore his helmet.


    She also told how her CEO boss suspended her and allowed her a half day leave right on the very first day of her work day. Her complaints were done but her sobs. Eric bit his mouth under the helmet as her hard sobbing near his ear disturbed and irked him at the same time.


    That was true he missed her. Or should we say it was her cuteness and tenderness that made him miss her. Eric was fed up of enjoying his s?x life with a fiercely horny Bella. It was her who dominated him more in the bed. He needed a break from a fierce s?x partner and that is why, Eric came here to see his innocent girlfriend right after he left Bella''s apartment.


    It was a sheer excitement to see her when he just arrived at her place. He was otherwise ?ssuming of taking a consent at the reception and meet Kelly in the visitor''s lounge. But gladly, she appeared only when he had just parked his bike and started approaching the massive building of Emmett Li''s enterprise.


    "And then he allowed me to go without any trouble, Eric. I am sad. I wanted this day to be memorable but this happened. I want to undo everything." Kelly poured, complaining again.


    Eric who had parked his bike and helped both of them walk ahead. They were heading towards their favorite restaurant. It was not a big and plush destination, but quite appealing.


    " Good afternoon, sir. Good afternoon, madam." The restaurant owner smiled at them as they approached their usual table.


    It was a small Chinese restaurant started by a middle aged couple. It was attached to their house, hence their restaurant was open for the whole day long.


    " You wait here while I go and place our orders. Hmm." Eric kissed her at the corner of her mouth and left her alone.


    Kelly took her seat wiping her face with a wet napkin. She loved this place. This was where they had started their relationship from. It was a nice and open place with cool winds ??r?ssing your skin. The automatic lavender room freshener never let the air feel stale.


    "One lobster, two plates of cheese sticks with cheese sauce and tomato ketchup, and two plates of Ramen." She saw how adorable her boyfriend looked while he smilingly placed his order.


    He was indeed handsome. And Kelly felt blessed to have him by her side. She could not get any better partner than Eric Mo. He was her charming prince. (Only if she knew her reality though)


    "And we will also like to take two cold drinks in the end. I think that will be enough." Eric ended, he talked a little more to the old woman who wrote down his order and smiled before coming back to Kelly.


    "Hi, I am back. I hope I was not gone for a long time." He settled in the chair opposite her.


    Eric took her hand and kissed each knuckle and admired the ring she was wearing. His ring. The evidence of their love. A sweet smile crept on his lips when he found her staring at him like a long lost puppy.


    " Now what?" Chuckles made their way out of his mouth as Eric relished her baby looks.


    She didn''t find her answer anything in reply. All she did was look at him with slow blinking of her lashes. And honestly, for Eric, that moment seemed to have stopped right there. He loved her cute behaviour. Gosh, despite being a hard nut, Eric loved her.


    That was one hundred and five percent correct that they never moved further in their relationship from kisses and cuddling, he still cannot stop loving her. It felt like the more she was pushing him away from making a physical relationship the closer he was drawing near her. She was a witch''s spell herself that never failed to work on him.


    "Eric, I love you." He blinked his lashes after coming out of his thought land. "I have Casey and mom, and even a supportive Boss, but you are the one around whom I find utmost comfort. You are my everything." She silently said, taking his breaths away.


    "This world has been awfully cruel to me. I don''t think I can rely on anyone except for you. Please never hurt me." The last sentence hit his heart directly.


    Eric felt his nerves rushing with cold blood as he replayed her words in his brain. He forced a smile on his lips while the flashbacks of all the makeouts he had with girls other than his girlfriend ran in his mind. He can''t stop the recollection happening after listening to her last statement.


    Kelly stood up from her seat and sat on the one next to Eric Mo''s. She took both his hands in her grip as the tears strolled out of her eyes, "Promise me, Eric. Promise me that you will never hurt me like the world."
